Speaker 1: Direct from Hollywood with Ryan Seacrest, Elton John and Britney Spears. Well,
0:05
Speaker 1: they got a new song. It's called Hold Me Closer.
0:07
Speaker 1: It's Brittany's first new song in many years, which is
0:10
Speaker 1: one of the reasons why Elton was excited to ask
0:12
Speaker 1: her to be part of it. But he also knew
0:14
Speaker 1: she might have reservations about doing it because of that,
0:16
Speaker 1: and Elton admits she did need to be convinced to
0:19
Speaker 1: go forward with the project even after she'd recorded it
0:21
Speaker 1: and nailed her vocals. Elton was telling people we had
0:24
Speaker 1: to get her to approve what she did. She's been
0:26
Speaker 1: away so long, and there's a lot of fear there
0:28
Speaker 1: because she's been betrayed so many times and hasn't really
0:31
Speaker 1: been in the public eye officially for so long. We've
0:33
Speaker 1: been holding her hand through the whole process, reassuring her
0:36
Speaker 1: that everything is going to be all right. If it's
0:38
Speaker 1: a big hit, and I think it may be, it
0:39
Speaker 1: will give her more confidence then she's got already, and
0:42
Speaker 1: she'll realize people actually love her and they want her
0:45
Speaker 1: to be happy. Hold Me Closer's out now. That's Direct
0:49
Speaker 1: from Hollywood.
