- 0:03[SPEAKER_06]: The only thing that we would hang manners for that would put up around this building is World Championships.
- 0:08[SPEAKER_00]: Bill Taft, BTA, and you know the message is clear, you know, we just had to play better.
- 0:14[SPEAKER_00]: Everybody wants to take a chip and dip it in that salsa, if you know what I'm saying.
- 0:19[SPEAKER_00]: You know, people had us as a really good team, but I don't think they've written on it's not how good we can really be.
- 0:32[SPEAKER_08]: What's up, guys?
- 0:32[SPEAKER_08]: This is Jeff Manis.
- 0:40[SPEAKER_05]: You're listening to Poor Man's Packers Hot Dance.
- 0:45[SPEAKER_06]: Hello and welcome to another edition of Permanent's Packers Podcasts.
- 0:47[SPEAKER_06]: We're on Packers Podcasts in the state of our minds.
- 0:49[SPEAKER_06]: I am Spencer join this with Todd Todd.
- 0:51[SPEAKER_06]: Hello, hello.
- 0:52[SPEAKER_06]: And the Green Bay Packers win.
- 0:54[SPEAKER_06]: Once again, they are three, two, and one winning 18 to 27 against V. Since the netty bingos at Lambo Field.
- 1:01[SPEAKER_06]: It was a lot of fun and not annoying at all.
- 1:04[SPEAKER_06]: Right, right.
- 1:05[SPEAKER_06]: We don't have fun watching that game start to finish.
- 1:07[SPEAKER_06]: Never write out.
- 1:08[SPEAKER_06]: Never doubt the brewers have moved on to the what is it that I'll see us right out of the championship the badgers are shitty The badger you see a bad the badgers are you know the best part of the badgers season this year
- 1:23[SPEAKER_06]: was when Gordon came and hyped him up at practice before that was it I forgot that that happened I might have been like so uh that most sports are good and better I know I'll take the brewers I can lose their second game I can see the Dodgers right now but you don't come here for that you come here for the Packers and we have some pretty substantial Packers news that happened this week after the game's on Sunday did you see this?
- 1:47[SPEAKER_06]: What is it?
- 1:48[SPEAKER_06]: Is it Darius Smith retired?
- 1:51[SPEAKER_06]: Uh-huh.
- 1:52[SPEAKER_06]: Hey, a long, rhizal baton's couch all year.
- 1:55[SPEAKER_06]: No, he didn't play the first week of the season because he's a vested veteran.
- 2:01[SPEAKER_06]: So if you're on a roster, your whole contract's guaranteed if you're on the roster week one.
- 2:06[SPEAKER_06]: So he didn't, okay.
- 2:07[SPEAKER_06]: So no one wanted to sign him week one because then you'd have to pay him that full salary.
- 2:10[SPEAKER_06]: And it's a Darius Smith can't count on him.
- 2:13[SPEAKER_06]: He signed with the Eagles going in a week two.
- 2:16[SPEAKER_06]: And then after this week on Monday, he retired from the NFL, midseason.
- 2:22[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, so that's awesome.
- 2:24[SPEAKER_06]: Fun little career from him.
- 2:25[SPEAKER_06]: He was with the ravens.
- 2:27[SPEAKER_06]: I think he left them on decent terms.
- 2:29[SPEAKER_06]: Came to the Packers.
- 2:30[SPEAKER_06]: We hated how money left with making up the back injury, whatever.
- 2:33[SPEAKER_06]: They'll happen there.
- 2:34[SPEAKER_06]: He went to the Vikings had one good year and demanded a trade.
- 2:38[SPEAKER_06]: So they traded him to Cleveland.
- 2:41[SPEAKER_06]: He was with Cleveland for a bit.
- 2:42[SPEAKER_06]: And then he got traded to the Lions.
- 2:44[SPEAKER_06]: Then he eventually got cut by the lines or whatever and then signed on with the Eagles and now his career is over.
- 2:49[SPEAKER_06]: But a total piece of shit, such a bummer that he's out of the league.
- 2:54[SPEAKER_06]: Now he did have one sack for the Eagles, too, in his short time.
- 2:57[SPEAKER_06]: Oh wow.
- 2:58[SPEAKER_06]: So very happy for Zeus.
- 2:59[SPEAKER_08]: He for as shitty as he is.
- 3:01[SPEAKER_08]: He was like, it never looked like he was completely over the hill.
- 3:05[SPEAKER_08]: For as much as like, he did, he was a ghost for the Vikings, the last all of December that year.
- 3:11[SPEAKER_08]: When he had like the sacks early on, but I don't know I feel like he's one of those guys to that like he played around the league enough like enough people know him that in a couple years when those guys are then like all the guy like when Miles Garrett's out of the league right he's gonna say something about like
- 3:29[SPEAKER_08]: How maybe not miles care if this might be a bad example, but like guys are gonna talk about how shitty Sidarius was in the locker and be like that guy freaking sucked.
- 3:37[SPEAKER_06]: Maybe don't you feel like that like he just like he's a problem Maybe I mean he clearly turned into a hired gun with the way he bounced around But he's still a talented player.
- 3:46[SPEAKER_06]: I mean like you said to but clearly a guy who doesn't love football He loved what?
- 3:59[SPEAKER_06]: Um, some other Graphic and things, so I think that's what he values a little bit more than playing football, but yeah shout out to Zadarius Smith We hardly knew you he had two really good years for us.
- 4:10[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah
- 4:11[SPEAKER_06]: but it was a fake person.
- 4:13[SPEAKER_06]: But with that, the Packer game, this week, you know, we'll talk offense defense, take news, we're gonna talk about the offense and what we're doing.
- 4:21[SPEAKER_06]: It's popped up a lot in the last week or two, but especially now we're talking about should we be targeting our real playmakers, IE, Josh Jacobs, Michael Golden, Matthew Golden, and Tucker Kraft.
- 4:34[SPEAKER_06]: We'll have some spending Packers trivia, and then we will preview the cardinal scheme.
- 4:38[SPEAKER_06]: But first Todd,
- 4:40[SPEAKER_06]: I mean again, what was the score 18 to 27?
- 4:41[SPEAKER_06]: What was your big thought leaving that game?
- 4:48[SPEAKER_08]: Um, if I, I don't know, like this is, I feel like my big thought was just kind of like boring and there's definitely more fun takes, but I'm just gonna be honest.
- 4:58[SPEAKER_08]: I thought was that if we can generate any kind of into your past rush or, I guess anything from the D line, we're in good shape, like any time we do things are fine.
- 5:11[SPEAKER_08]: Likewise, when the offensive line can put it together for just a few seconds, good things happen.
- 5:16[SPEAKER_08]: So it's just like, again, this is the most boring take in the world, but like,
- 5:22[SPEAKER_08]: go back and watch any of the highlights and like on offense, the offensive line is just do when they're in something amazing.
- 5:29[SPEAKER_08]: They're just opening up a small hole for, you know, Josh Hakes run or blocking just long enough for love to throw the ball.
- 5:37[SPEAKER_08]: Like that's all that we have to do to make plays.
- 5:40[SPEAKER_08]: And then on defense, any past rush and we were, you know,
- 5:44[SPEAKER_08]: forcing you know what was there it was like a couple sacks but either way like the majority of the game the reason that the bangles were able to move the ball at all in the second half was because it was no pass rush like there was nothing and it was just like I don't know that those are my two takeaways I guess it was one sack the only sack that we had in that game was Lucas van Nass which he did her as foot on that play and for those who didn't hear he so he got carted off
- 6:10[SPEAKER_06]: But it sounds like it isn't going to be anything long term.
- 6:12[SPEAKER_06]: He didn't break a bone and then Matt will floor set it.
- 6:15[SPEAKER_06]: It isn't anything catastrophic.
- 6:16[SPEAKER_06]: So that usually means he's not going to go on the IR, so that's a good thing.
- 6:21[SPEAKER_06]: The other thing that Matt brought up, which we kind of touched on a bit last week, too, is teams and Joe Flacco just know to throw the ball as quick as possible when they go up against us.
- 6:33[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, it was Flacco, then Dac, then Flacco, we'll floor talk about it at his availability on Monday that they clocked at that Flacco was getting the ball out at like an average of two seconds when in the NFL you shoot for two and a half seconds like that's good And he was even beating that so it was tough also there's been some stuff with Parsons getting held
- 6:54[SPEAKER_06]: Probably a couple times I don't want to say that is I don't want to sound like a bitch, but there's but it is wild Agreed just ones.
- 7:00[SPEAKER_06]: I there's some type of argument that I forget what it is, but you're allowed to hold a certain type of way legally in the NFL If like you sides, I don't know John Muirding talks about on blue 58 and I'm like I'm not going to listen to rule bullshit but
- 7:15[SPEAKER_06]: There's... I don't seem doubted.
- 7:16[SPEAKER_06]: There's reasoning with some of this, but for me, my big thought leaving this game was... And I've settled down a bit because I was more upset, but it kind of reminded me of the no flow game against the bills in 2018, where Roger said after the game that there was like no flow and it was kind of getting on Mike McCarthy's game planning, or play calling I should say, that there was no flow with how things led into another.
- 7:40[SPEAKER_06]: No, it wasn't that bad.
- 7:43[SPEAKER_06]: But like going back and watching the game again, it's like you know what the score was entering the fourth quarter
- 7:51[SPEAKER_08]: Was it like 18 to 20?
- 7:55[SPEAKER_06]: No, 20.
- 7:56[SPEAKER_06]: No, it was 10 to 7.
- 7:59[SPEAKER_06]: We did score on the very first play of the fourth quarter.
- 8:03[SPEAKER_06]: So it was then 17 to 7, but either way, it's just that was kind of, you know, because afterwards it's like you look at the score and you see the stats.
- 8:11[SPEAKER_06]: And you're like, why did I feel so bad about the game and it was going on?
- 8:14[SPEAKER_06]: It's like, oh, because for three, four of it,
- 8:17[SPEAKER_06]: There was nothing really going on on offense.
- 8:19[SPEAKER_06]: Obviously during love had that pick, but I've settled down a bit again.
- 8:23[SPEAKER_06]: I still feel pretty fine about the offense.
- 8:25[SPEAKER_06]: It's just this defense in the second half and maybe wanting a target or pass or elite passcutures a little bit more.
- 8:32[SPEAKER_06]: And there's a couple weird stats with this, too.
- 8:35[SPEAKER_06]: And maybe some of this is more optimistic.
- 8:37[SPEAKER_06]: And some of this is like, uh, hey, what the hell is going on?
- 8:40[SPEAKER_06]: Like, one thing.
- 8:43[SPEAKER_06]: The Packers, there hasn't been a punt in the second half of their last two games, both the opposing team and the Packers.
- 8:52[SPEAKER_06]: Like, that's pretty crazy.
- 8:53[SPEAKER_06]: It just shows you how bad our defense has been, but how good our offense has been.
- 8:59[SPEAKER_06]: Right.
- 8:59[SPEAKER_06]: And, you know, for how much we're feeling kind of weird about this team, the Packers are currently in Vegas.
- 9:04[SPEAKER_06]: The...
- 9:05[SPEAKER_06]: Number one odds getter to represent the NFC and the Super Bowl above the Lions and above the Eagles after they last Be currently are the number two seed in the NFC, which again is pretty surprising just you know with the way the season has felt so far We're also the only team the NFL to have led in every single game by double digits So it's like there's a lot of weird feelings with this Team right now, but at the same time we look around the league, and it's like no one's good
- 9:35[SPEAKER_06]: so i feel better does feel like that yeah i feel better about where this team's out right now because it's like we're still ramping up but you look around and it's like well fuck i mean who were you afraid of in the NFC maybe the bucks maybe that's exactly what i was to say is i'm not even that the Eagles because of their roster but the way that they play like i did catch who did they play this last week um i
- 10:00[SPEAKER_08]: Oh, the giant's game.
- 10:01[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, we got the giant's game and it's just like who was this right like if you're if that was the packers have been like We'd be having a very different conversation right now.
- 10:10[SPEAKER_08]: It would be it would be doom and blue and you know who really performed well in that game
- 10:16[SPEAKER_06]: Scataboo, AJ Dillon, who has our exit, our exit audio, had that terrible kick return where he muffled it and then that following drive, he was full of emboldt.
- 10:27[SPEAKER_06]: I'm like, I don't want to root for someone's failure, but it did make me feel- How does he survive on that roster then?
- 10:35[SPEAKER_08]: like two bad plays like that.
- 10:37[SPEAKER_08]: It's like guys get cut for less.
- 10:39[SPEAKER_06]: I wouldn't be shocked if he doesn't make it through the entire year because if they have a little shippling, they did trade for trade for Tink Bigs B. So they have a couple guys, but I think especially with the amount of carry say quann have last year, you want to have a bunch of bodies and AJ Dillon has a big body.
- 10:54[SPEAKER_06]: So maybe he could eat up some carries, but
- 10:56[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, I don't know.
- 10:57[SPEAKER_06]: Well, we'll see how he loves getting a bunch of big names on his roster and AJ Dillon.
- 11:01[SPEAKER_06]: Although he's not a great player.
- 11:03[SPEAKER_06]: He has some type of name written in the league.
- 11:05[SPEAKER_06]: So, but yeah, I don't know.
- 11:07[SPEAKER_06]: Either way, again, we might have felt bad leaving that game, but you look around the league, and it's tough not to feel better about the team when he just looked beyond what's closest to ya.
- 11:18[SPEAKER_06]: So jump it into it offense of course again, I mean entering the fourth quarter we only had ten points Jordan love This was so the dad tax thing is catch it on a bit.
- 11:30[SPEAKER_06]: We did have one comment It was from God.
- 11:33[SPEAKER_06]: I'll get to it at the end, but it was from our buddy in Hobart
- 11:36[SPEAKER_06]: and he said did anyone else yell scream a dad tax at the TV when of course I also got a text from a couple buddies saying the same thing all there's the dad tax but again journal of the dad tax popped up on that first drive but other than that a pretty solid game I mean even the play that he threw the pick on was kind of impressive just the way he got out of the pocket you would have like for him to throw the ball away
- 12:02[SPEAKER_06]: But it was I would say by far journal loves best game ever From his foot from his feet the way he moved around the pocket and the way he got yards after I mean he picked up a couple of third downs.
- 12:14[SPEAKER_06]: There was that big throw to Matthew golden where he rolled to the left and threw it deep You know, we'd like to see a little bit more of that He had the really bad throw to look musk wave which he was asked about post game I was getting ready to hear that maybe musk wave ran there on route.
- 12:26[SPEAKER_06]: He did not blame Luke So it sounds like that was just a bad ball, but
- 12:30[SPEAKER_06]: It's a really bad ball for really bad.
- 12:34[SPEAKER_06]: It's one of those where if there was a defender back then I got picked It would be up there with one of Jordan loves worst INT which is saying something which is impressive But Todd what were your thoughts on Jordan loving this game?
- 12:46[SPEAKER_08]: I mean, I also Thought myself a couple different times being impressed by the way He was moving and making plays and scrambling for first down slippery.
- 12:54[SPEAKER_08]: He was slippery
- 12:56[SPEAKER_08]: he was slippery and usually what happens in those is he gets really slippery and then ball gets slippery and he drops it but that didn't happen today or at the game but I don't know, I feel like he played really well aside from the one bad play and it's like you know you sit there and you look at it and it's like yeah, it's a really bad play
- 13:16[SPEAKER_08]: like we've talked about in the past it's the dad taxes like he just is gonna have one and then like what was it how many plays later did he turn around and he drops that diamond to golden and you're like yeah hey like there it is like he's that's Jordan love like he can do it all and he can also like make the biggest mistakes and and your NFC championship game with one quick throw it like it's literally do it all from both ends of the spectrum really good really good really bad really bad
- 13:46[SPEAKER_06]: it was definitely was like a very Jordan love game like he was he was on showcase like the bad and the good but again just as moving in the pocket like the first drive to he moved up well and found Romeo dobs deep on a third down the one to Josh Jacobs to where he like he was backed up in the pocket and he just ran forward and then like flipped it up to Josh Jacobs who had a big catch and run after that um
- 14:11[SPEAKER_06]: But yeah, I don't know, he's very, he's fun to watch.
- 14:14[SPEAKER_06]: It's a different type of quarterback play than what we're used to.
- 14:17[SPEAKER_06]: And it's nice to finally see a healthy version of him, which we obviously didn't have really much of at all last year.
- 14:26[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, he's, he's like the best.
- 14:28[SPEAKER_06]: He's like top five and just about any category.
- 14:30[SPEAKER_06]: And then I fell right now for quarterbacks, top ten for sure.
- 14:33[SPEAKER_06]: And he's like the best third-down quarterback in the league and has been pretty much all year like he goes super Saiyan or On fire whatever and fucking what is NBA jam on third-downs.
- 14:45[SPEAKER_06]: It's like I almost look forward to them now like third-and-longs It's kind of like when it's just funny.
- 14:50[SPEAKER_06]: It's kind of like when Joe Barry was our defensive coordinator where you felt worse about third-and-longs than third-and-shorts
- 14:57[SPEAKER_06]: It's like, yeah, I feel better about third and long, third and long with this offense right now.
- 15:02[SPEAKER_08]: So it's like when you're in the red zone, you know, your first, it's first and goal from the tan and you're like, this is like a tough place to be.
- 15:11[SPEAKER_08]: And then you get a holding call and now it's it's, you know, you're on the 15 and then you got, you know, 15 to go and it's like, oh, and we got a little bit of field destruction out and like you threw a touchdown pass.
- 15:24[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, um, but I did like the reference to it being on fire.
- 15:26[SPEAKER_08]: Maybe think of NFL blitz.
- 15:29[SPEAKER_08]: If you sack the quarterback twice and then you just jump on the quarterback after the play.
- 15:34[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, well, you can always just jump on the quarterback after the play and anybody and then or if you threw to the same receiver like three times in a row, then you would be on fire and like the defenders would jump on your back and you would drag them at the end zone.
- 15:46[SPEAKER_06]: I was more of a NFL street fellow NFL street.
- 15:49[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, okay.
- 15:50[SPEAKER_06]: Who was a big one for me, where you'd build up and then use it.
- 15:52[SPEAKER_06]: And then you just fucking run over guys.
- 15:55[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, you could like control it.
- 15:56[SPEAKER_06]: Got it.
- 15:56[SPEAKER_06]: That was fun because it was like Chad Clifton and Amon Green.
- 15:59[SPEAKER_06]: I think God, I just like a couple times on defense to like Chad Clifton or someone gets a pick.
- 16:05[SPEAKER_06]: I don't know what I'm talking about here.
- 16:07[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, uh, speak of Chad Clifton, Billy did win the fat fuck draft last week according to Twitter.
- 16:13[SPEAKER_06]: We had so many, well, it's the old pretty, I'll double check at the end, but I'm pretty sure he was the one that one.
- 16:18[SPEAKER_06]: He was Dayton's head.
- 16:20[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, that might have been a little, you had a very strong draft.
- 16:23[SPEAKER_06]: Your guys is both of your teams look better on paper than mine.
- 16:27[SPEAKER_06]: Mine was obviously more well thought out and, you know, Cub Buck, like he would have thought of.
- 16:31[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, yeah, so good.
- 16:32[SPEAKER_06]: Especially the picture of like Mike McCarthy that I had and it where he's like,
- 16:36[SPEAKER_06]: got kind of a dirt face going on it's like oh well that's a that's a big winner right there too.
- 16:39[SPEAKER_08]: That is a good one.
- 16:40[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah you have to pick the right pictures and obviously you pick the pictures.
- 16:44[SPEAKER_06]: So well I hey it shows you that I'm unbiased.
- 16:47[SPEAKER_06]: I just picked the best pictures for everyone.
- 16:49[SPEAKER_06]: Howard Greene also did not have a lot of pictures so I had to use the one of him hidden Ben Rothous breaker.
- 16:54[SPEAKER_06]: But move on.
- 16:55[SPEAKER_06]: Receivers.
- 16:56[SPEAKER_06]: The Matthew Golden game finished with three receptions, 86 yards.
- 17:01[SPEAKER_06]: He also had two runs for 16 yards, still no touchdowns, but man, he's, you can just tell.
- 17:07[SPEAKER_06]: You know, we like to, we like to say things like, oh, man, this guy's really good.
- 17:10[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, this guy's really improving.
- 17:11[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, did you see this play from him?
- 17:13[SPEAKER_06]: And Matthew Golden's just like, when he gets the ball in his hands or the ball gets thrown his way, he always has some type of wow moment with it.
- 17:23[SPEAKER_06]: his hands is sure hands where he just plops him out there at the last second, you know those late hands that Devante would always have on the sideline, like we saw that a couple times.
- 17:32[SPEAKER_06]: He had that catch and run over the middle where he just stomped his foot in the ground and then ran around that defensive tackle that dropped back in the coverage that looked kind of like Josh Jacobs when he has one of his hard jokes.
- 17:44[SPEAKER_06]: Um, yeah, the adjustment on third down was impressive too.
- 17:47[SPEAKER_06]: Did you see that the the one that kind of clenched it where from Jordan Love where he broke out to the left and then through it to him.
- 17:54[SPEAKER_06]: Matthew Golden his route.
- 17:55[SPEAKER_06]: He was supposed to run more of a post and run deeper.
- 17:58[SPEAKER_06]: But after he saw, oh, yes, certain kind of scrambling a bit.
- 18:01[SPEAKER_06]: He cut it off ran straight and I sideline and that was, you know, the biggest difference in the game.
- 18:07[SPEAKER_08]: I think you can kind of see love to kind of like a mini pump like he's looking at golden golden sees him like cockasarm a little bit and then he like flattens it out immediately and then he swings it in there.
- 18:19[SPEAKER_06]: It's like the backyard football is so fun to watch and those are the little things that I feel like we've been missing a lot from this team over the last few years with these younger We're see a difference.
- 18:28[SPEAKER_06]: I think this guy just came in a lot more refined than what we've had you know what these other guys Romeo dobs Solid game two five receptions 55 yards on nine targets which we'll talk well later I mean, I still like Romeo, but there was a couple you know like that that one screen past humor got blown up like immediately that was
- 18:48[SPEAKER_06]: Less than ideal.
- 18:49[SPEAKER_06]: Dante Viennwix finished two for 15.
- 18:51[SPEAKER_06]: One of them was for our first down, so that was nice.
- 18:54[SPEAKER_06]: But Milton did get into the game once again.
- 18:55[SPEAKER_06]: I think this was the second snap on offense all year.
- 18:58[SPEAKER_06]: Maybe second or third.
- 18:59[SPEAKER_06]: The one run for three yards.
- 19:01[SPEAKER_06]: Savion also had one for three.
- 19:02[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, those were the receivers.
- 19:06[SPEAKER_06]: What did you think?
- 19:07[SPEAKER_06]: Again, I mean, Matthew Golden.
- 19:08[SPEAKER_06]: You know, we talked about them all of training camp, and it's nice to finally see him have some production on Sunday.
- 19:14[SPEAKER_08]: It is wild to see Matthew Golden just like perform as advertised if not better, especially for rookies like as we've seen over the years in Packers Offences.
- 19:24[SPEAKER_08]: The rookies just never do anything.
- 19:27[SPEAKER_08]: They really get the chance to do anything in their defense, but it's really fun to see golden like just
- 19:33[SPEAKER_08]: I mean, the offense just kind of like when it needs to runs through him, which is really fun to see and like the big plays are only going to get bigger.
- 19:43[SPEAKER_08]: I'd still would like to just see him catch one like I almost like him running like the journey post like I just need it.
- 19:50[SPEAKER_08]: I need that.
- 19:52[SPEAKER_08]: So I don't know, he's and that speed is always evident, which is fun to see.
- 19:57[SPEAKER_06]: We've been close on those deep bombs.
- 19:58[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, again, he's back to back.
- 20:00[SPEAKER_06]: We stepped out on that one.
- 20:01[SPEAKER_06]: It's like, back to back weeks.
- 20:03[SPEAKER_06]: He should have had 96 year touchdowns.
- 20:05[SPEAKER_06]: And then two weeks in a row, we know already talked about a couple of times with a third down catch, which was huge.
- 20:10[SPEAKER_06]: And then the previous week against the Cowboys had that fourth down catch as well.
- 20:13[SPEAKER_06]: So sure hands and obviously Jordan love already trust him.
- 20:18[SPEAKER_06]: Tydans, not a ton to talk about, but we got to talk about our speed baby boy.
- 20:22[SPEAKER_06]: Tucker Kraft, the two receptions for what do you have 43 yards, the long of 24, also the touchdown.
- 20:30[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, it's just, it, it takes something for the first guy to bring him down, even watching that touchdown.
- 20:36[SPEAKER_06]: He jumped from like the four yard line and still made it in like,
- 20:41[SPEAKER_06]: Just no no care in the world for his own personal health like he's going to score especially the previous week against the cowboys Where twice like twice he ended up on like the half yard line so it's like he wasn't going to be stopped on this one I like the touchdown celebration to did you see the little jumping starfish that he did with like all of the offensive lineman.
- 21:01[SPEAKER_06]: I did not see that was oh
- 21:03[SPEAKER_06]: Really does it in a more starfish?
- 21:05[SPEAKER_06]: He jumps up and they do this with their arms out and then they bump my chest Patrick yeah, pretty much, but the bump the bump just in the air and then they put their eyes out.
- 21:15[SPEAKER_06]: It's it's very silly I'm surprised you didn't see it
- 21:19[SPEAKER_06]: It sounds really dumb if I'm being a It is dumb which is fun dumb.
- 21:24[SPEAKER_06]: Yes dumb celebrations are fun.
- 21:25[SPEAKER_06]: Who could forget?
- 21:26[SPEAKER_06]: Well I did on Josh Jacobs first rent so Elton Jenkins was miced up this week That's a it's a really good miced up if you haven't seen it.
- 21:34[SPEAKER_06]: You should watch it the packers put it out
- 21:36[SPEAKER_06]: Um, but I think Tucker craft and Romeo Dobbs do the I love gold celebration and then you'll hack it is back in the building and they have mentioned it's Steno has mentioned the gold zone.
- 21:49[SPEAKER_06]: So it's still the gold zone in green bay was craft around was he a rookie for one of the gold?
- 21:55[SPEAKER_06]: No, no, he was not around.
- 21:57[SPEAKER_06]: Okay.
- 21:57[SPEAKER_06]: Even Romeo.
- 21:58[SPEAKER_06]: I don't I think God.
- 22:00[SPEAKER_06]: I don't remember it was close around that time, but I
- 22:04[SPEAKER_06]: because what was just the one year he was there, so it's just love.
- 22:10[SPEAKER_06]: I'm trying to remember if Watson and Dobbs were still there that last year with Hackett, but I'm not sure would be Watson.
- 22:16[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 22:17[SPEAKER_06]: But either way, Tydens, Luke Musker, if he had the one catch who gives a shit, if it's Patrick and have anything not much to talk about.
- 22:25[SPEAKER_06]: Tucker craft needs to get the ball more.
- 22:27[SPEAKER_06]: Again, I've said this before.
- 22:28[SPEAKER_06]: I said it last year too.
- 22:29[SPEAKER_06]: I, the only argument I can hear for it is they're saving him because they know he's a ramrod and he could potentially get hurt with the way he plays and they want to save him for the playoff,
- 22:39[SPEAKER_06]: Two targets is not enough for a game-changer like Tuckercraft and in this offense Yeah, I don't know.
- 22:46[SPEAKER_08]: I obviously love seeing him get the ball.
- 22:48[SPEAKER_08]: It seems like he is the dude on screens, which I think is really fun And then who can forget the the Tuck push Tucker Yeah, Tucker sneak do you have a name for it?
- 23:01[SPEAKER_06]: I feel like we have a name or we We might have but none of them have been great
- 23:06[SPEAKER_06]: Yep.
- 23:07[SPEAKER_06]: Nope.
- 23:07[SPEAKER_06]: We'll have to figure that out later.
- 23:09[SPEAKER_06]: And you're talking to screens.
- 23:10[SPEAKER_06]: You didn't have any of those in this game, but even just like the two yard Richard Rodgers out.
- 23:14[SPEAKER_06]: I just want that because he always breaks the first tackle and it's like a guaranteed five yards at least.
- 23:19[SPEAKER_06]: Running back.
- 23:20[SPEAKER_06]: We have a running game again.
- 23:22[SPEAKER_06]: for a full game it seemed like.
- 23:24[SPEAKER_06]: Josh Jacobs 18 yards or 18 carries 93 yards an average of 5.2.
- 23:28[SPEAKER_06]: He had the two touchdowns and in the receiving game he had five receptions for 57 yards the long of 29 just a good all-around game and I don't know if you saw this but it was his first
- 23:38[SPEAKER_06]: blue game he was throwing up before during the last year.
- 23:42[SPEAKER_06]: I was trying to come up with SVP again like from last year last year's shit vomit piss, but I couldn't find any shit or piss to talk about.
- 23:49[SPEAKER_06]: Don't you remember that ton last year?
- 23:51[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, of course I remember SVP so.
- 23:54[SPEAKER_06]: vomited before the game after and um i talked about this to he was born in 97 so he did he wasn't even alive for Michael Jordan's flu game which makes even me feel all that he's i was born in 92 and the starting running back was born in 97 i'm like ill it is weird seeing the players then like you can't you can't like assimilate with them because they're just like they're too young and you're like i don't understand like i don't understand the Patrick star
- 24:24[SPEAKER_08]: Celebrations.
- 24:25[SPEAKER_06]: Hey, we were around for SpongeBob.
- 24:26[SPEAKER_06]: I remember watching the first ever episode of SpongeBob when it premiered So we're not well, maybe maybe that's dating me right there actually even that is But yeah Josh Jacobs again finally getting some more room to run to I mean the offensive lines seem to get better as the game went on But when Josh Jacobs gets the ball
- 24:45[SPEAKER_06]: Beyond the line of scrimmage is when he's really special.
- 24:47[SPEAKER_06]: That's when he's running guys over in the open field or just duping guys out of their feet.
- 24:52[SPEAKER_06]: So it's nice, especially after having no room to run earlier this year.
- 24:56[SPEAKER_06]: And now we're using him more and more in the past game too.
- 25:00[SPEAKER_06]: And then with the running backs, I mean, the other thing to mention, how, you know, at the beginning of the year, Emmanuel Wilson barely played.
- 25:07[SPEAKER_06]: And now it's been Chris Brooks.
- 25:09[SPEAKER_06]: We barely seen him out there, too.
- 25:11[SPEAKER_06]: Even early on in this game where we were,
- 25:12[SPEAKER_06]: past blocking well it was a manual Wilson out there on third downs which was just a little bit questionable because it's like, come on, use your guy that can actually block Wilson played 11 snaps Brooks played five so not you know, not talked about it.
- 25:25[SPEAKER_06]: ton of snaps here but just something but Todd Josh Jacobs is other running backs.
- 25:32[SPEAKER_08]: It does definitely feel like this is Chris Brooks.
- 25:36[SPEAKER_08]: This is his outro.
- 25:37[SPEAKER_08]: Uh, two.
- 25:39[SPEAKER_08]: At, well, when, um, yeah, Lloyd, when Martian Lloyd comes back, I mean, someone's got to go, right?
- 25:46[SPEAKER_08]: And so this is probably what, I mean, that's what this means, right?
- 25:50[SPEAKER_08]: Like five snaps is all I got.
- 25:53[SPEAKER_08]: I don't know.
- 25:53[SPEAKER_08]: He feels like it's so as well.
- 25:55[SPEAKER_08]: And what is his one carry was like, was that like a red option?
- 26:00[SPEAKER_08]: Oh god, I don't I don't even remember in this game.
- 26:02[SPEAKER_08]: I'm trying to remember what it was anyone who was It was not probably something like that, but yeah, no Josh Jacobs like sometimes I When I watch and Josh now, I'm like as you like losing the step and then I'm like oh wait no the line can't block
- 26:17[SPEAKER_08]: So that's the problem because then you see him getting to the second level.
- 26:20[SPEAKER_08]: It's like, ah There it is like he hasn't lost a step.
- 26:23[SPEAKER_08]: He's still got it and it's fun to watch him like Especially like the stiff arms two are just like what was that one were on the it was on the right hash
- 26:32[SPEAKER_08]: and he just stiffed the guy like all the way out of bounds like they just ran together.
- 26:37[SPEAKER_06]: I was wondering it was scary.
- 26:39[SPEAKER_06]: I was like is he going to get a face mask on this one because he was awfully high on was on that one button.
- 26:46[SPEAKER_06]: It was it was clean enough.
- 26:47[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, he man handles guys guys one way or another just put every single week.
- 26:51[SPEAKER_08]: What didn't he say something to before the game about like last time I felt like ship before the game I had two touchdowns 130 yards He told a fan before the game because he got picked up on a mic-dupped thing.
- 27:03[SPEAKER_06]: He was gonna go for 120 and two touchdowns and he had even more he had a 100-fifthly at all.
- 27:08[SPEAKER_06]: It's pretty much here.
- 27:09[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 27:10[SPEAKER_06]: There you go, stick with that a little bit, the offensive line, and the offensive line did not look great to start, but get this, the first game all year where all of the offensive linemen who started finish the game got better as the game went on, isn't that crazy something else that was crazy Jordan Morgan started at right guard and he practiced at right guard all week.
- 27:33[SPEAKER_06]: They didn't have them play other positions and what do you know he kind of won the right guards bot the first two drives They rotated him and Sean Ryan right and after that it was Jordan Morgan the rest of the way so Curious what we'll see here on out, but I'm fine with if you know keep guys where they're at and I'm gonna work in this game If this is like
- 27:57[SPEAKER_08]: If this is a calculated approach to just getting some of these younger guys and guys are new to the team to kind of just figure out these different positions, if it's calculated, I think it's not the worst thing in the world at the beginning of the season.
- 28:12[SPEAKER_08]: I don't love it, but it could be worse if it's not calculated.
- 28:16[SPEAKER_08]: It just kind of feels like they don't know what they're doing.
- 28:20[SPEAKER_08]: And I just lean towards the ladder of like it feels like we look like we don't know what we're doing when we're like swapping guard who does anyone else swap guards every series or every drive like I don't rotating your saying
- 28:36[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, I mean like not even like game to game just like who rotates linemen like that's continuity is like the most important thing and I feel like everybody across the league knows that it's not a secret and then I don't know we would have really dumb if Jordan love got hurt on like a miscommunication A gap mugs blitz and like you know to me and it's like oh well Sean Ryan had been left guard all week and we swapped them just for funsies and oops
- 29:04[SPEAKER_08]: love got hurt so it's like I don't know stuff like that where it's like it's not the preseason like you have all training camp to figure it out let's put our best guys out there I get that people progress as season goes on but it just feels like we don't really know what we're doing yeah just stick with this the rest of the year we'll see what if you have to do anything with a belton when he's healthy maybe he's just the swing tackle that be nice you got canard there too and then Sean Ryan just haven't be the backup center in guard maybe that's
- 29:34[SPEAKER_06]: And again Jordan Morgan one of his better games as a pro.
- 29:37[SPEAKER_06]: I mean he bullied TJ Slayton on that first Josh Jacobs touchdown Yeah, that was pretty cool.
- 29:43[SPEAKER_06]: Milton Jenkins seemed to play better too.
- 29:45[SPEAKER_06]: I mean again the second half there was just so much better than the first half.
- 29:47[SPEAKER_06]: The first half like the Bangle has got pressure and flush love out of the pocket on the three man rush like that was
- 29:55[SPEAKER_06]: And then the big question too, because I was hoping, I don't know, I was hoping he wouldn't play Zack Tom played in this game.
- 30:02[SPEAKER_06]: Did you hear the comments that he had afterwards?
- 30:05[SPEAKER_06]: No.
- 30:06[SPEAKER_06]: So played all the snaps.
- 30:09[SPEAKER_06]: Rob Demoski Jason will do.
- 30:10[SPEAKER_06]: We're talking to him after the game.
- 30:11[SPEAKER_06]: Just, you know, I said how it went, blah, blah, blah.
- 30:13[SPEAKER_06]: he said he couldn't remember any of the plays when he can usually remember like like afterwards like after the game is over like he had no real memory of the game because he was in so much pain they asked him like to grade it out of you know one through ten he said I'm not gonna do that
- 30:33[SPEAKER_06]: They asked him, do you think it was a smart idea to play?
- 30:35[SPEAKER_06]: He's like, I'm not going to answer that either, so it's just, I don't know exactly how an oblique works.
- 30:41[SPEAKER_06]: But maybe you should have just had them sit out another game to heal up a little bit more, because now it's like, yeah.
- 30:47[SPEAKER_06]: We got 12 straight games in the playoffs.
- 30:49[SPEAKER_06]: And that's what I was talking about, where it's like, give him as much time now, because it's not about winning right now.
- 30:53[SPEAKER_06]: It's about having your best team in the playoffs.
- 30:56[SPEAKER_06]: And if he's going to be playing every week here on out, I don't anticipate the side of his body getting that much better.
- 31:03[SPEAKER_08]: I do imagine like a single bleak, right?
- 31:05[SPEAKER_08]: So it's a core.
- 31:06[SPEAKER_08]: So every, it's like, if you throw it your back, everything hurts.
- 31:10[SPEAKER_08]: You take a deep breath, it hurts.
- 31:11[SPEAKER_08]: If you roll over and bend and it hurts.
- 31:14[SPEAKER_08]: I imagine like, if you tear your oblique or whatever happened, that it's probably like when you throw your back out.
- 31:22[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, that sounds horrible.
- 31:23[SPEAKER_08]: I hope he had like a quarterzone shot or something.
- 31:27[SPEAKER_06]: I assume as much I mean he was limited in practice all week and then in that Elton Jenkins miced up video to Elton at one point after a touch on the run in the sideline He says his act on was like you're running like an old man and it's like, oh, I wonder why that was happening and my muscles don't work Yeah, so that's the offense Todd anything else on the offensive we might have missed there Jordan love should he have slid on that one?
- 31:52[SPEAKER_08]: It's like one of those things where like hindsight 2020, but yeah, for the, for the risks that he already takes, just go for it.
- 32:03[SPEAKER_06]: I was going to, I thought you were going to say the opposite.
- 32:05[SPEAKER_06]: And like for the risks you already take just be a little safe.
- 32:08[SPEAKER_08]: I'm just saying like if you're going to be a risky runner, which he sometimes is just go for that one.
- 32:13[SPEAKER_08]: Like if we're going to go for some.
- 32:15[SPEAKER_08]: that's one we're like that's really that's a limited risk like you're not actually risking anything there he wasn't super close to anyone he may be going to like do forward and just got that's what i would yeah you do the dumb dive forward and like he's about as graceful as like a baby deer
- 32:33[SPEAKER_08]: So like it doesn't it's never gonna look good, but like just get that first out.
- 32:38[SPEAKER_06]: He might have like multiple knees in his legs Like he has an extra knee on each leg that bends and that's why it's a little elongated and weird at times Maybe that's what it is.
- 32:48[SPEAKER_06]: Have we talked about that possibility?
- 32:50[SPEAKER_08]: I think maybe his nerves don't always connect to his brain Like the nerves like sometimes they get interrupted the ping the ping is that what it is the ping is off a little bit the computer speed
- 33:02[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, yeah.
- 33:02[SPEAKER_08]: It's like, uh, yeah, the packet loss.
- 33:04[SPEAKER_08]: He like just doesn't like the information is getting lost in translation.
- 33:09[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, so I don't know.
- 33:10[SPEAKER_06]: Maybe I don't improve, but again, best day from home with his legs.
- 33:15[SPEAKER_08]: Offence is funny to think like we're making fun of how Jordan love moves.
- 33:19[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, God.
- 33:19[SPEAKER_08]: I just like, I'd be dead.
- 33:22[SPEAKER_08]: I'd get hit once.
- 33:24[SPEAKER_06]: He dead.
- 33:24[SPEAKER_06]: You know, I, I, if I got hit, I would, my, my limbs would fall apart, but I might be able to slide better than him.
- 33:31[SPEAKER_06]: His slides are pretty ugly.
- 33:34[SPEAKER_06]: That's fair.
- 33:35[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
- 33:35[SPEAKER_08]: I would slide a lot.
- 33:36[SPEAKER_08]: So I would get really good at it.
- 33:38[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
- 33:38[SPEAKER_08]: There you go.
- 33:39[SPEAKER_06]: That makes sense.
- 33:40[SPEAKER_06]: With that, we'll have a quick commercial break.
- 33:44[SPEAKER_06]: And we are back with the defense, the defense, I'll tell you what, until I'll say this first half, not bad, right?
- 33:55[SPEAKER_08]: I think that, yeah, you know what, if you can give up less than 20 points, like Mike Parsons says, we're gonna win a lot of games.
- 34:02[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, yeah.
- 34:03[SPEAKER_08]: He said it a little bit every set of they can put up more than 20, but what he meant was they're gonna hold them to less than 20.
- 34:09[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 34:09[SPEAKER_06]: The Bengals did not score in their first four drives.
- 34:13[SPEAKER_06]: The Packers are the only roommate team who haven't allowed a first quarter point this season, which is pretty crazy.
- 34:20[SPEAKER_06]: This is how points have gone so far this year for the Packers allowing against opposing teams.
- 34:26[SPEAKER_06]: They are first in a quarter one by not be surprising.
- 34:30[SPEAKER_06]: They are fourth and quarter two They are fifth and quarter three and they are dead last in quarter four points allowed.
- 34:38[SPEAKER_06]: I think we've allowed like 100 like 110 points or something and 80 of them have been in the second half something like that People are now saying have you heard Jeff Hathley's new nickname
- 34:52[SPEAKER_06]: No, Jeff first half Lee.
- 34:58[SPEAKER_06]: Actually, I love that.
- 35:00[SPEAKER_06]: I stole that from John Anderson, but that it's it's a pretty good one.
- 35:04[SPEAKER_06]: That's hilarious.
- 35:05[SPEAKER_06]: We also have the best rundie in football right now.
- 35:09[SPEAKER_06]: Again, it's like
- 35:10[SPEAKER_06]: it's just like off the top it's like you feel bad about stuff and then he dive a little deeper and it's like well maybe we're not actually that bad I mean that that drive to start the second half that fucking sucked but at the same time like it came down to a fourth down at the end there there's a big third down pickup to it's like you kind of want to be in those situations it just never materialized for them um and like I said earlier to the packers opponents haven't punted in the second half for two weeks great so it's a little
- 35:39[SPEAKER_08]: If we don't come out to start the season and absolutely demolish the lions, like the expectations are probably a little bit lower and people feel a little bit better about where we're at, because it's like, oh, we're improving.
- 35:52[SPEAKER_08]: What you come out when you come out, just super hot.
- 35:56[SPEAKER_08]: and beat a team that everybody thought was going to lead the end of scene north and and the lions do look a lot better now but like when you come out like that it's like hard to manage those expectations weeks two three four five you know so i was thinking about that the other day i was like yeah if there's a lot of complaining but it's like at the same time if we had gotten shit kicked by the lions and then we improved after that yeah people would feel way different
- 36:23[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, good point.
- 36:25[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, and it's I still feel really good about the defense.
- 36:28[SPEAKER_06]: It the floor talked about it on his Monday availability to how Him and Jeff like sat down and they're like what do we have to do to improve this defense because it's like do we have to
- 36:38[SPEAKER_06]: like practice harder to condition guys because it's like the fourth quarter where we're wearing down and maybe that's what the issue is.
- 36:44[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, especially again with a third quarter drive, it's like for whatever over 10 minutes long it took.
- 36:51[SPEAKER_06]: It's like that.
- 36:51[SPEAKER_06]: I'm sure drain guys.
- 36:52[SPEAKER_06]: Here's a thought too.
- 36:53[SPEAKER_06]: So do you get more tired on defense?
- 36:56[SPEAKER_06]: Because you never hear about the offense wearing down.
- 36:59[SPEAKER_06]: It's always the defense wearing down.
- 37:02[SPEAKER_08]: I feel like you do get more tired on defense.
- 37:05[SPEAKER_08]: I feel like it, it takes a lot more energy to tackle somebody than it does to tackle.
- 37:12[SPEAKER_08]: If you're linebacker, you exert a lot more energy than being a running back.
- 37:17[SPEAKER_08]: And I mean, yes, you can, if you bust a 60-yard rod, I mean, obviously you're tired for that, but it's like every single down when you're on defense, you're exerting a lot of energy.
- 37:29[SPEAKER_08]: We're on offense.
- 37:31[SPEAKER_08]: You kind of know you're making the decisions as far as like where the ball's going itself like that, like you know what you're doing, where the defense you're reacting to it.
- 37:40[SPEAKER_06]: So yeah, I was wondering if you do insert into, yeah, that make that make sense.
- 37:45[SPEAKER_06]: Again, we still only have the two turnovers on the season, which is frustrating as well where either last or second to last and the lead on that still.
- 37:55[SPEAKER_06]: But I don't know, it's just weird because it's the second half defense, it's not first in turnovers.
- 38:01[SPEAKER_06]: I still feel fine about it and like we talked about last week too.
- 38:04[SPEAKER_06]: It's like, and what you talked about were after your expectations with week one with this defense.
- 38:08[SPEAKER_06]: It's like, well, all the talk about the ball king and first in turnovers, it's like did other teams get smart to that.
- 38:14[SPEAKER_06]: And then again, with Michael Parsons and how quick we've seen other opposing teams throw the ball.
- 38:19[SPEAKER_06]: It's like they're just
- 38:20[SPEAKER_06]: they have a type of blueprint to stay competitive in these games if not, you know, tie or win them, it seems like.
- 38:27[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, I do.
- 38:28[SPEAKER_08]: My only complaint, like as far as, like, if they are getting the ball out quick, it's like, well, then we just need to bring our coverage needs to come up a little tighter.
- 38:38[SPEAKER_08]: Right.
- 38:39[SPEAKER_08]: I don't like obviously then you open yourself up to getting beat, especially when you got Nate Hobbs or CV on one side, like it's going to happen, but it's just like, at least like show it and back it out.
- 38:50[SPEAKER_08]: I don't know.
- 38:51[SPEAKER_08]: I don't know what you do.
- 38:51[SPEAKER_08]: Maybe can you simulate a press?
- 38:54[SPEAKER_08]: We simulate pressure.
- 38:55[SPEAKER_08]: Can we simulate a press?
- 38:57[SPEAKER_08]: So we don't actually get burned.
- 38:59[SPEAKER_08]: I don't know.
- 39:00[SPEAKER_08]: Get a little sky and cloud action, you know?
- 39:02[SPEAKER_06]: Like, okay, immediately just sprint backwards after you get up to the line.
- 39:07[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I don't.
- 39:07[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I don't know.
- 39:09[SPEAKER_06]: Defensive line, Packers front 7.
- 39:10[SPEAKER_06]: We got good pressure on the first two drives.
- 39:12[SPEAKER_06]: Flacco had to give up on several plays early like he did with the Browns.
- 39:16[SPEAKER_06]: We just ends up throwing the ball away.
- 39:18[SPEAKER_06]: Like we said, LVN got carted off that foot injury after second Flacco with those probably his most impressive sack of his career.
- 39:25[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, he just got right off the edge like he beat him with speed, which you don't see from that guy, right?
- 39:32[SPEAKER_06]: Um, Cyril, he's been, he's still been fine.
- 39:35[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, maybe we'll see more out of him here with LVN probably being out a couple weeks.
- 39:40[SPEAKER_06]: He didn't really have any big flash plays this week, but you see him moving around quite a bit, which is seeing that number 99 is just fun too.
- 39:48[SPEAKER_08]: I love seeing 90.
- 39:49[SPEAKER_06]: I said that from the beginning.
- 39:50[SPEAKER_06]: It's like 99 is a defensive and number.
- 39:53[SPEAKER_06]: Like that LVN could have had that.
- 39:56[SPEAKER_06]: Even though Parsons were to have that like that, just it always, it never looks bad.
- 40:01[SPEAKER_06]: Um, I can't remember an offensive line pushing a pile more than the bangles did in the game.
- 40:07[SPEAKER_08]: There was like twice it was like an extra five yards and it was like only when Samage P right had the ball It was like who's literally like what was the tolbert he reminds me of like tolbert What was this first name?
- 40:22[SPEAKER_08]: Fuck whatever it doesn't matter tolbert from the
- 40:31[SPEAKER_08]: So I don't know who's he's a little tank, but yeah, they like we'd stand him up and you can tell we're just trying to rip the ball Obviously they're focusing on Rip in the ball and stuff like that.
- 40:41[SPEAKER_08]: You can see him doing it, but then it's like you stand up for too long And then you got guards and tackles coming in and now all the same's got an extra five six yards.
- 40:49[SPEAKER_08]: It's like all right Like there is a you got to have like the QB has the clock in his head if you are a Linebacker picking a guy up to strip the ball.
- 40:58[SPEAKER_08]: You got to have a clock in your head and be like, okay
- 41:00[SPEAKER_08]: I gotta just fall down now.
- 41:02[SPEAKER_06]: I wonder if that'll come up with half leads availability this week, one way or another.
- 41:06[SPEAKER_06]: And again, Parsons, he had, I believe he finished with five pressure, which was his law on the season, but got he does seem to be getting held quite a bit not to sound like a bitching fan, but I feel like he got a couple holding calls week one, maybe week two and since then, it's been nearly impossible for him to get one of them.
- 41:25[SPEAKER_06]: Warren Brinson in his first game.
- 41:27[SPEAKER_06]: He was the top rated player according to pro football focus on defense So again, he always think that with the green of somebody snaps I did not learn many I did not look that up.
- 41:37[SPEAKER_06]: I think he played a decent amount and then I should maybe maybe you can look it up here quick because I
- 41:46[SPEAKER_06]: uh... what's his name um... the other defensive tackle we have not called be wouldn't but carl brux carl brux he was the biggest beneficiary of snaps right think he ended up playing like eighty percent or something for defensive lime in which we don't really ever do
- 42:05[SPEAKER_06]: Um, so that's something to think about too.
- 42:07[SPEAKER_06]: We'll see what, again, LVN, he should be back in a couple weeks.
- 42:11[SPEAKER_06]: We did work out some defensive ends this week.
- 42:13[SPEAKER_06]: I wonder if Colin Oliver is ever going to be healthy enough to get activated.
- 42:17[SPEAKER_06]: The fifth round pick, but again, I mean, we're the best run stuffing defense in the NFL, so we can't complain too much about the defensive line right now.
- 42:27[SPEAKER_08]: I don't know how I'm looking at it's acne packing company.
- 42:31[SPEAKER_08]: I just googled like snaps for the week.
- 42:34[SPEAKER_06]: Mm-hmm.
- 42:34[SPEAKER_06]: Are you sure?
- 42:34[SPEAKER_06]: It's a bankless game.
- 42:37[SPEAKER_08]: That's what I typed in, but it must not be because it says car works as zero snaps.
- 42:43[SPEAKER_08]: So that's not correct.
- 42:45[SPEAKER_08]: Okay.
- 42:45[SPEAKER_08]: But it does also say Warren Brinson had 20.
- 42:51[SPEAKER_08]: So I don't know how this is working.
- 42:53[SPEAKER_08]: Okay.
- 42:55[SPEAKER_08]: Maybe I'm reading it wrong.
- 42:56[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, you're reading stuff for some people.
- 42:58[SPEAKER_06]: Linebackers.
- 42:59[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 43:00[SPEAKER_06]: It's okay.
- 43:01[SPEAKER_06]: I'm out.
- 43:02[SPEAKER_06]: Linebackers both Quay and Edge.
- 43:04[SPEAKER_06]: I don't know.
- 43:05[SPEAKER_06]: They've just been quiet the last two weeks, at least after the first two weeks where it seems like they broke out, they've just kind of, there hasn't been those splash plays.
- 43:15[SPEAKER_06]: Cooper had his worst game as a pro, maybe against the cowboys and Quay and Ham sense then.
- 43:20[SPEAKER_06]: It's like,
- 43:20[SPEAKER_06]: There hasn't been as many tackles for loss, um, they were in there on one early with Jovon Bullard, but it's just, it's not the ball hawk type of line backing crew that we expected at the beginning of the year.
- 43:35[SPEAKER_08]: But here's the thing is when you're throwing the ball 45 times like Quay is not in a past Quay in coverage is not where you want them right and like I think teams know that like him you watched him on that who's their tight end that score nobody knows his name anyway it doesn't matter not know him but like he got hurt.
- 43:53[SPEAKER_08]: Right, so it's whoever their food string tight end is, but like he's just not a depth at coverage I mean, he's even like close, but he still just like can't get there to make the I mean, I mean, he's just not in the coffee got his hand on the ball after the guy had it, but you know
- 44:08[SPEAKER_08]: I think it's just not his thing.
- 44:10[SPEAKER_08]: Like covered, he needs, he's a downhill guy, send him to a gate.
- 44:15[SPEAKER_08]: You got this gap to this gap, go.
- 44:18[SPEAKER_08]: Like that's him and like same, Cooper's better in coverage like by far, but I think like when you throw the ball 45 times, it's like tough for your linebackers to be attacking.
- 44:28[SPEAKER_08]: I don't know what the number was against the Cowboys, but same thing against the Cowboys.
- 44:32[SPEAKER_08]: Like they're dropping back into coverage over and over and over again.
- 44:35[SPEAKER_08]: And like if you have talented tight ends, they're just gonna beat my backers almost every time and let's They're like truly elite like if you have like guys who've been lead for a long time Who have seen a lot of coverage is like Fred Warner those guys are pretty good, right, but like all right, they get picked apart All right, yeah, true
- 44:53[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, and I don't know.
- 44:54[SPEAKER_06]: Well, we'll see, you'd still like to see them.
- 44:57[SPEAKER_06]: You know, halfway back to the defense, he originally kind of wanted to run where we don't really blitz.
- 45:01[SPEAKER_06]: All that much, we just kind of send the front four.
- 45:04[SPEAKER_06]: And I mean, we still get pressure.
- 45:06[SPEAKER_06]: It's just, again, it leads to that the chip in a way off, and so that we had at the beginning of the third quarter.
- 45:12[SPEAKER_06]: You know, it's just a prime example of what's going on.
- 45:14[SPEAKER_06]: When you get some pressure, not enough.
- 45:17[SPEAKER_06]: You can force a lot of plays, but eventually they might still get to the end zone.
- 45:22[SPEAKER_08]: I will say that I do love the way Jeff Haffley just switches it up, his pressures don't work the same, like the simulated pressures there with the double A gaps we saw that once.
- 45:34[SPEAKER_08]: It's just like it's refreshing to see creativity on the defense, just like weekend and week out, it's not boring.
- 45:41[SPEAKER_08]: Like it's just we see different things, it's like oh like they're reacting to what they see on film and think they can take advantage of, which is like that's
- 45:51[SPEAKER_06]: The secondary.
- 45:52[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I mean, you know, mixed big, but a lot of not great stuff.
- 45:57[SPEAKER_06]: I'm Keisha Nixon.
- 45:58[SPEAKER_06]: He had a great tackle on third down on the Titan number 87 of finish, uh, the play in force the third or third or fourth down there.
- 46:05[SPEAKER_06]: He and the thing with Keisha on, you know, I mean, Jamar Chase beat him on that touchdown, but what more could you really ask for from Keisha on at that point?
- 46:14[SPEAKER_06]: And with him too.
- 46:16[SPEAKER_06]: I feel like a lot of fans kind of don't like Kishan Nixon, but he's beat expectations every single year because he's still he's making like 20 bucks an hour.
- 46:27[SPEAKER_06]: It's 6 million per year I'm pretty sure which is nothing.
- 46:31[SPEAKER_06]: that is nothing.
- 46:32[SPEAKER_06]: And he's our CB1 clearly, you know, is he a top N, CB1?
- 46:39[SPEAKER_06]: No, is he low end?
- 46:40[SPEAKER_06]: Maybe not even that.
- 46:41[SPEAKER_06]: But he's a pretty solid corner.
- 46:43[SPEAKER_06]: And again, if nothing else he gives it his all, I mean, the one play where the ball, what was thrown a little above Jumar Chase's head and then Kishan just like pushed him anyways.
- 46:55[SPEAKER_06]: I was like, okay, Kishan, I don't know if we have to do that.
- 46:58[SPEAKER_08]: Oh, I do know it.
- 46:59[SPEAKER_08]: You was overthrown by like a lot.
- 47:02[SPEAKER_08]: It was like 10 yards overthrown.
- 47:03[SPEAKER_08]: He's trying to like, yeah, I tried to knock him over.
- 47:07[SPEAKER_06]: Bullard had the nice play at the line of scrimmage again.
- 47:10[SPEAKER_06]: He's Bullard.
- 47:12[SPEAKER_06]: Javan Bullard is a really good player.
- 47:15[SPEAKER_06]: It's like kind of the opposite of Josh Jacobs where Josh Jacobs.
- 47:20[SPEAKER_06]: I feel like beyond the line of scrimmage.
- 47:21[SPEAKER_06]: He's really good.
- 47:22[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, he's good anyways, but beyond that he's a special.
- 47:26[SPEAKER_06]: board with the further he gets from the line of scrimmage the better he gets bullet is the opposite yes exactly like you you've got to play him up at the line if he's headseeking if he's chasing a running back like he's really good close to the line of scrimmage further he gets away he's not as good so he was impressive there a couple times uh he did get banged up in the game too so to done taving wicks it sounds like done taving wicks his ankle is fine
- 47:49[SPEAKER_06]: And Bullard came out for its respective concussion, which he had one earlier this year.
- 47:54[SPEAKER_06]: It was not a concussion, it was actually a stinger, and it sounds like he will be fine.
- 48:00[SPEAKER_06]: The Bangle's receiver, Isva's or whatever, the tall third guy, he had like three drops in this game.
- 48:08[SPEAKER_06]: You remember that?
- 48:09[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, oh, yeah.
- 48:10[SPEAKER_06]: Yes, that was a huge save and yes, it could have been a little bit closer and then the last thing to talk about Carrington valentine I mean, he played a little bit better than he did against the cowboys How do we feel about him gritting on Jamar Chase on a play that Carrington really didn't do much of and yeah, maybe that You know his chase off enough because a player two later I think he converted a third or fourth down and then he had the touchdown two
- 48:37[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, I mean, it is one of those things like are you just him grittying on him actually matter like Jamar Chase is going to get his right as long as Joe Flacco's going to give them the ball a couple times right like he's he knows he knows who to go to right and Jamar just showed like he bullied Kishan in the end zone a little bit there to get that that touchdown pass on the right sideline, but
- 49:02[SPEAKER_08]: I don't know, like, if you're like, it sucks because it's like kind of a little bit of embarrassing when you're like dancing and, you know, you didn't really do anything.
- 49:11[SPEAKER_08]: But at the same time, like, I, you need your quarterbacks to have just like unlimited confidence.
- 49:18[SPEAKER_08]: They need to just like exude it and talk and just like do all that.
- 49:22[SPEAKER_08]: So like, I'm, I'm okay.
- 49:25[SPEAKER_08]: it's it sucks that he's not as good as we thought he could be it could be he could be he could be he just like when you're watching him it's like ah he's just he's just not there I don't know I just I don't know if the positives outweigh the negatives of doing the gritty to the the best one of the best receivers in the league and then again like I said he was a little bit better
- 49:48[SPEAKER_06]: Maybe right Jair could get away with it.
- 49:50[SPEAKER_08]: Jair could get away with it and like and then it's like cuz he was in Justin Jefferson's head that game Yeah, like so much That like there's that part of it of like getting in someone's head, but you have to be able to back it up and it's like we just don't have the personal to back it up.
- 50:05[SPEAKER_08]: That's the top part
- 50:06[SPEAKER_06]: That is still one of my favorite calls was nice having Kevin Harlin on this one, but that Jair versus Justin Jefferson, because it was Jim Nance, I believe, on the call for that one.
- 50:16[SPEAKER_06]: And as soon as Jair started, he was like, oh, and he's doing a gritty.
- 50:18[SPEAKER_06]: It was like, it was so weird that he wanted to come to that part of it.
- 50:24[SPEAKER_06]: Special teams.
- 50:26[SPEAKER_06]: Hey, best special teams performance of the season.
- 50:31[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, one thing Matt using that time out at the end of the first half to stop the longest field goal in NFL history Great job.
- 50:41[SPEAKER_06]: It's best time out ever.
- 50:42[SPEAKER_06]: It's bad that we have to be like Good job good job Matt unlike the most obvious freezing of a kicker ever
- 50:49[SPEAKER_06]: Um, and then obviously we had our kicker who was the savior of this game.
- 50:53[SPEAKER_06]: God, Lucas, uh, have a sicker, whatever.
- 50:56[SPEAKER_06]: I didn't have it.
- 50:58[SPEAKER_06]: Does it have a, have a, have a, it's our, have a, have a, have a sick.
- 51:04[SPEAKER_06]: Where's a, have a, have a sick, have a sick, have a sick.
- 51:07[SPEAKER_06]: Obviously the two field goals, including the, you know, kind of digger at the end.
- 51:12[SPEAKER_06]: He made both the next.
- 51:13[SPEAKER_06]: Well, he was substitute teacher in Cleveland.
- 51:16[SPEAKER_06]: that's where he's living right now.
- 51:18[SPEAKER_06]: Yes, a substitute teacher in Cleveland.
- 51:20[SPEAKER_06]: This wasn't his first time taking at Lambo Field to in 2023.
- 51:24[SPEAKER_06]: He was the kicker for the Rams and that terrible game with Brett Rippen.
- 51:28[SPEAKER_06]: He went one for two in that game.
- 51:31[SPEAKER_06]: Demovsky talked to his agent and he said this before the game even where when he signed with the team, the packer stole them.
- 51:40[SPEAKER_06]: Hey, this is just
- 51:44[SPEAKER_06]: and then Sunday, low and behold, McManus is out.
- 51:48[SPEAKER_06]: This guy's got a kick for us wearing the beautiful number 35, and he nails both of them.
- 51:53[SPEAKER_06]: It's funny because it's like power rank the Packers Kickers since Mason Crosby.
- 52:01[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, I mean, that's a tough one because it is proud.
- 52:03[SPEAKER_08]: I mean, small sample size, but it's McMahon.
- 52:08[SPEAKER_08]: It was the dude from Wisconsin who's wife was from Wisconsin.
- 52:12[SPEAKER_08]: What was his name again?
- 52:12[SPEAKER_08]: You should have got.
- 52:15[SPEAKER_08]: I just had it too.
- 52:16[SPEAKER_06]: You had a fun rating.
- 52:20[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, Narvdog.
- 52:21[SPEAKER_06]: Yes.
- 52:21[SPEAKER_06]: Is that it?
- 52:22[SPEAKER_06]: Yes, Narvdog.
- 52:23[SPEAKER_06]: I'm trying to think of what to think.
- 52:24[SPEAKER_06]: Because it's, it's McMahon is first, oh, yeah.
- 52:27[SPEAKER_06]: Right.
- 52:28[SPEAKER_06]: That's easy.
- 52:28[SPEAKER_06]: It's Lucas, second probably.
- 52:31[SPEAKER_06]: It's Anders Lash.
- 52:32[SPEAKER_06]: It's, I think it's Anders Lash, even though he was a better kicker, probably, than Narvdog, but the one he had a really bad miss.
- 52:44[SPEAKER_08]: I wanted to love our orders so much, but just like it just never, it was never it.
- 52:49[SPEAKER_08]: And like Narvison was like such an underdog.
- 52:52[SPEAKER_06]: Yes.
- 52:52[SPEAKER_08]: That it's like you get a pass.
- 52:55[SPEAKER_06]: Um, Andres looked like he came straight out of Sweden and Narve Dog looked like he came straight from behind the cash register at like a po-dong little casting trip.
- 53:04[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 53:05[SPEAKER_08]: No, and I wouldn't even take quick trip, quick trip, not nicer than you're thinking like like it was
- 53:10[SPEAKER_08]: It was like a holiday, but then like holiday left out.
- 53:14[SPEAKER_06]: No, it was something one of the girls.
- 53:15[SPEAKER_06]: It's a big, big, big, big, big, big, big.
- 53:17[SPEAKER_06]: Yep, uh, saving in Williams.
- 53:19[SPEAKER_06]: He was better on returns, but Milton back there too.
- 53:22[SPEAKER_06]: He had a nice return as well.
- 53:24[SPEAKER_06]: Um, all the kicks in this game again, like we mentioned, were good, no blocks, Matt did.
- 53:29[SPEAKER_06]: They did finally make the change to using the entire offensive line on the kick block unit, which is great.
- 53:34[SPEAKER_06]: It was funny hearing him after too, because he's like,
- 53:36[SPEAKER_06]: Well, it's a, it's a points play that it's important.
- 53:38[SPEAKER_06]: It's like, well, then why the fuck wasn't important earlier?
- 53:41[SPEAKER_08]: And what's the important before?
- 53:43[SPEAKER_08]: Come on, man.
- 53:45[SPEAKER_08]: Matthew Golden, can I just say something to about all the kicker terms?
- 53:48[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
- 53:49[SPEAKER_08]: Savion is going to break one.
- 53:50[SPEAKER_08]: Like, it's, there is going to be a kicker turn touchdown this year.
- 53:54[SPEAKER_08]: Savion is going to get one.
- 53:58[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, he still, he looks, the cowboys when he just didn't know how to handle those weird dirty kicks, but when he gets to the ball in his hands, like he's not terrible.
- 54:07[SPEAKER_06]: Like that's something I'm, I'm fine with Savion, but he has golden is the one where it's like, we got a pull him now and it was the second straight week in a row where he got pulled for Romeo dobs.
- 54:19[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, what, what was it called a fair catch on like the
- 54:23[SPEAKER_06]: five or ten when he had all that space in front of him.
- 54:25[SPEAKER_06]: So why doesn't bull melt and return puns?
- 54:28[SPEAKER_06]: That's the number one thing.
- 54:29[SPEAKER_06]: It's, he's, you know, a bottom end of the roster guy.
- 54:33[SPEAKER_06]: He's played more steps and the bottom.
- 54:35[SPEAKER_06]: More snaps on offense than defense when he's a corner.
- 54:38[SPEAKER_06]: And it's like, what would be tougher for bull melt until learn playing corner in the NFL or being a punter Turner?
- 54:45[SPEAKER_06]: It seems like a pretty obvious and there's much less risk with him being back there too.
- 54:49[SPEAKER_06]: Also, if we lose bull melt,
- 54:54[SPEAKER_08]: That's, yeah, oh well, that's what I'm not saying like oh well, but like, oh no, kind of if we lose Romeo dobs, much bigger if it lose Matthew golden.
- 55:03[SPEAKER_06]: That's my other note with Romeo dobs, that his first one where he didn't call a fair catch, he had to have two guys next to him that just assumed he called it.
- 55:11[SPEAKER_08]: Thank you for assuming, but that's what happened.
- 55:14[SPEAKER_08]: You put those guys back there and they're like the last time they returned was in high school and they're the best athlete on the field They're like, oh, I got this.
- 55:22[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, they get back there and then they don't call fair catch and they get smacked and Romeo Dobbs Art had 17 concussions and now he's brain dead in a coma.
- 55:31[SPEAKER_08]: Like we don't need that
- 55:33[SPEAKER_06]: It's like, keep the offensive line on field goal unit.
- 55:36[SPEAKER_06]: Our coverage units have been fine.
- 55:38[SPEAKER_06]: Put Bob Melton at putter.
- 55:40[SPEAKER_06]: I have no complaints.
- 55:41[SPEAKER_06]: Just do that.
- 55:43[SPEAKER_06]: I'm sure I'll think up of a complaint eventually.
- 55:45[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, we'll have more.
- 55:46[SPEAKER_06]: But just do that for now.
- 55:47[SPEAKER_06]: That'll save you a couple of weeks.
- 55:49[SPEAKER_06]: I think Rich.
- 55:51[SPEAKER_06]: Um, with that anything else from this game?
- 55:55[SPEAKER_06]: Uh, no.
- 55:55[SPEAKER_06]: Take news for the week for ball time.
- 56:07[SPEAKER_06]: Take news take news for the week x is a nose not Jimmy's and Joe's this is a I think it's been a big complaint Especially now we've had similar ones in the past, you know again We've we're always talking about Tucker craft.
- 56:23[SPEAKER_06]: We want Tucker craft to get the ball more he's
- 56:25[SPEAKER_06]: He just makes shit happen when he gets the ball in his hands.
- 56:28[SPEAKER_06]: Matthew Golden for how much talk to us about him at the beginning of the year and what we saw from him in this game and bits and pieces before this.
- 56:34[SPEAKER_06]: It's like, this guy should be getting the ball a bit more well, you know, you just assume that's going to happen in the future and ongoing.
- 56:42[SPEAKER_06]: We'll just chip away.
- 56:43[SPEAKER_06]: We'll see you more and more getting the ball well.
- 56:46[SPEAKER_06]: What kind of gets to you?
- 56:47[SPEAKER_06]: Maybe this is just coach speak, but this is what LeFloor and Adam Stenovitch said.
- 56:53[SPEAKER_06]: We'll start with Stenov here.
- 56:55[SPEAKER_06]: This was going into the weeks.
- 56:57[SPEAKER_06]: This is before Matthew Golden's game.
- 56:59[SPEAKER_06]: But this was, I think Jason will be asking him and Stenov does bring up a good point because again, there's been some more questions like this in the past, like maybe referring to Jane Reed being kind of the number one target and maybe you should be getting him the ball more.
- 57:11[SPEAKER_06]: But this is Adam Stenovitch when asked about, you know,
- 57:17[SPEAKER_05]: it suggests that you know the more he's involved better off the offenses.
- 57:21[SPEAKER_05]: How do you go about figuring out how to get guys the right amount of involved?
- 57:25[SPEAKER_04]: I feel like you asked me this question every week and you're like, and it's tough like, you know, it's your way around every time.
- 57:32[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, that's the right.
- 57:32[SPEAKER_04]: It's you and J. Reed, now it's Tucker and then it's you know, whatever.
- 57:36[SPEAKER_04]: But yeah, I mean, that's the same thing we just talked about like, I
- 57:39[SPEAKER_04]: You have your play, you know, like, all right, this is the coverage we're trying to catch.
- 57:43[SPEAKER_04]: If we get it, here's the shot to whoever, but then it's, again, a check down to Tucker or Josh Jacobs or something like that that like, is a pretty good play as well because those guys can make some plays.
- 57:55[SPEAKER_04]: But yeah, I mean,
- 57:57[SPEAKER_04]: Any time you're going to do a game plan, you want to have X amount of plays for this guy, you can only call so many, so you've got to be real selective with it and just make sure you're trying to get them called.
- 58:09[SPEAKER_04]: And some games, the flow goes and you're able to call those plays and then some games, it doesn't happen.
- 58:15[SPEAKER_06]: Alright, so that was Stenel, again, that was last Wednesday or Thursday, I believe before the game.
- 58:21[SPEAKER_06]: And this was Matt LaFlor after the game when I asked about Matthew Golden, his kind of breakout game, and if he's going to have to get him more involved.
- 58:33[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, it's just, is what it is, guys.
- 58:35[SPEAKER_03]: Like, I know everybody wants us to force feed guys the ball, but I mean, that's really not how we've done it around here, and I don't plan on changing that.
- 58:45[SPEAKER_03]: So, you know, that's the beauty of having a lot of guys that we have a lot of confidence in, that where we can do it.
- 58:55[SPEAKER_03]: We can do, we can, we have confidence that we can put anybody in the situation and try to have plays off a place.
- 59:02[SPEAKER_03]: And a lot of it is dictated off the coverage.
- 59:05[SPEAKER_03]: However, teams are playing us.
- 59:07[SPEAKER_03]: And the quarterback's role is just to make sure the ball's going on the right place based on what the defense presents.
- 59:15[SPEAKER_03]: And whoever gets those catches, they get them.
- 59:18[SPEAKER_06]: All right, so Todd, I'll let you go first here.
- 59:20[SPEAKER_06]: What are your thoughts with seeing the way the offense is produced?
- 59:25[SPEAKER_06]: You know, you probably as well want to tuck your craft in my Matthew Golden, get the ball more and then hearing what's Deno and La Flore had to say about that.
- 59:35[SPEAKER_08]: I mean, I think it's very different than, like, the Flores offense is very different than, like, MacArthur's.
- 59:43[SPEAKER_08]: In the fact that, like, MacArthur's offense was strictly based around athletes going out and making plays, it seemed.
- 59:50[SPEAKER_08]: It was very much just, like, beat the defense, right?
- 59:54[SPEAKER_08]: We're, like, a floor is, like, scheme guys open.
- 59:57[SPEAKER_08]: And so it's a very different concept.
- 59:59[SPEAKER_08]: So, like, I also, like, I get the point of, like, hey, we're not gonna, like,
- 1:00:03[SPEAKER_08]: We're not going to force the ball to anybody.
- 1:00:05[SPEAKER_08]: We saw what happened when we did force feed like Devontate.
- 1:00:09[SPEAKER_08]: Devontate amazing at the time, his and Rogers connections was amazing.
- 1:00:13[SPEAKER_08]: But like, at the end of the season, when that's all you've got, everybody knows it.
- 1:00:17[SPEAKER_08]: And it's like, like, that's tough.
- 1:00:19[SPEAKER_08]: apples and oranges but at the same time it's like I can understand their side of it where it's like hey we're not going to force feed certain guys I do think there's like a happy medium and I and I also don't think they're going to tell you this in the press conference yes, which is like another dumb part of this where it's like they're not going to be like we're gonna me bringing it up to talk about
- 1:00:40[SPEAKER_08]: I think it's dumb when they ask the questions and like because like I don't I think it's their job to ask questions I guess but like he's not going to be like yeah we're going to force feed Tucker the ball I dial up a couple plays for him for next week or hey we're doing the same thing with golden because like wow he's really good so we're just going to force feed in the ball but I'm going to tell you that but at the same time like I do feel like
- 1:01:01[SPEAKER_08]: Like you mentioned the like the two yard Richard Rogers out with Tucker craft like there can be a couple of those where it's like, hey, we're just going to get our athletes the ball in space like wide receiver screens just quick little hitches stuff like that to go make plays that we can be missing.
- 1:01:19[SPEAKER_08]: I'm going to contradict myself.
- 1:01:21[SPEAKER_08]: One of my complaints is all the short game stuff and not.
- 1:01:26[SPEAKER_08]: When we push the ball down the field, we're a better team.
- 1:01:29[SPEAKER_08]: We're a better offense.
- 1:01:30[SPEAKER_08]: We push the ball on the field.
- 1:01:31[SPEAKER_08]: So I don't know where that, where that lies as far as like maybe there's other ways to intentionally get a couple of guys the ball.
- 1:01:39[SPEAKER_08]: That really need it Tucker Matthew Golden.
- 1:01:42[SPEAKER_08]: Um, Romeo gets the ball a fair amount, but yeah, anyways, that's I guess that's my thought on it Yeah, and some new ones there.
- 1:01:50[SPEAKER_06]: I don't know.
- 1:01:50[SPEAKER_06]: I agree with a lot of what you said I was thinking the same thing, you know with Mike McCarthy versus Matt Flore It's hypocritical to be like well, just get your playmakers of a ball.
- 1:01:59[SPEAKER_06]: It's like that is the reason why we moved on from Mike McCarthy is cuz the static offense It wasn't really scheming guys open
- 1:02:07[SPEAKER_06]: And then again, too, the Devante Adam things obviously didn't work at the Play-offs against the Niners, but the last time a Matt LaFlor offense really had any type of identity was Aaron Rodgers thrown the ball to Devante Adams and more often the knot that did work really well.
- 1:02:22[SPEAKER_06]: But the things that, again, for the most part, I agree, we should find some type of happy medium.
- 1:02:28[SPEAKER_06]: Like in this game, and I know it's, uh, Dobbs coming off a three touchdown game, but when he has nine targets and Matthew Gold finishes with five and Tucker Craft has two, it's a little like, okay, what are we doing here?
- 1:02:41[SPEAKER_06]: especially a week after Tucker crafted the media that he feels like the offense is better when he gets the ball more.
- 1:02:46[SPEAKER_06]: It's almost like, hey, dude, did Steno and LaFlor try to move away from Tucker a little bit.
- 1:02:53[SPEAKER_06]: Just be like, hey, you don't need to speak up on this type of stuff.
- 1:02:55[SPEAKER_06]: I don't think that actually happened, but it just makes you think.
- 1:02:59[SPEAKER_06]: But the big things that I didn't like from Steno and Matt there, Steno and they both said very similar things.
- 1:03:05[SPEAKER_06]: Steno saying, this is the coverage we're trying to catch and Matt saying a lot of it is dictated off of coverages.
- 1:03:13[SPEAKER_06]: That's the type of shit where obviously you want to scheme guys open, you're looking for certain things.
- 1:03:19[SPEAKER_06]: But your, I mean Matt says right there, he's letting the defense dictate what they're going to do on offense.
- 1:03:25[SPEAKER_06]: And it's like we need to find those staples on offense that we can run against most defenses.
- 1:03:30[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, one of the few plays that the Bengals were able to make against us on Sunday, it was Jamar Chase making plays because he's a special player and maybe it wasn't the best look, but he made it happen because he's so talented and he rises above it.
- 1:03:45[SPEAKER_06]: And that's what it seems like Matthew Golden and Tucker Craftard.
- 1:03:48[SPEAKER_06]: Now,
- 1:03:49[SPEAKER_06]: I don't know exactly what I'd want for targets for, you know, this offense obviously Josh Jacobs is going to get hit his in the run game, but it's like It we should like not 50% but we we need to be getting Tucker craft a minimum
- 1:04:04[SPEAKER_06]: of 5 targets again.
- 1:04:05[SPEAKER_06]: We need to get Matthew Gold and Minimum like this game.
- 1:04:07[SPEAKER_06]: 5 targets a game.
- 1:04:09[SPEAKER_06]: I know we have a lot of good passcutures too, but it's like you need your best players at their best, come playoff time and in close games like this again, I mean it was one score game going into the fourth quarter and happen again later.
- 1:04:21[SPEAKER_06]: It's like I just like to breathe a little bit and I feel like we'd just be better off if we target our real playmakers.
- 1:04:27[SPEAKER_08]: I do want, yeah.
- 1:04:28[SPEAKER_08]: I do agree with that.
- 1:04:29[SPEAKER_08]: I feel like if it's less, less than four is like borderline criminal as far as targets for Tucker craft.
- 1:04:37[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 1:04:37[SPEAKER_08]: Like two is just not enough.
- 1:04:40[SPEAKER_08]: Um, I could see, you know, certain situations.
- 1:04:43[SPEAKER_08]: Hey, like in these looks like we really do want to get the ball in certain places.
- 1:04:47[SPEAKER_08]: And there's defenses that will go and try and take certain people away.
- 1:04:51[SPEAKER_08]: But Tucker craft has not been given the ball enough at all to ever be feared in the sense of like we're going to run the offense through Tucker like we don't do that we don't run the offense through anybody right and so maybe eventually there could be yeah Josh Jacobs would actually be the guy that's a good point but eventually maybe there could be that argument but as far as like right now there's no receiver that's getting the ball.
- 1:05:16[SPEAKER_08]: any significant amount on a week to week basis other than Romeo dobs like he's the only that guy that consistently gets the ball and it's some of I mean some of his weeks are are fairly modest so I don't know it's it would be nice to just see like and maybe that's why we're so good on third down it's like give me your conference beaters like hey we're going to go out there and like we have to make a play so we just go do it I don't know it's
- 1:05:44[SPEAKER_08]: Like I said, like Matt's offense, like doesn't have enough of an identity yet to like kind of see what we're doing.
- 1:05:50[SPEAKER_08]: Like I don't feel like I see enough of it.
- 1:05:52[SPEAKER_08]: We're like, all those years with McCarthy, like we, I feel like as viewers, we could kind of see what was getting called, like as it was happening.
- 1:06:02[SPEAKER_08]: It was more obvious what we're doing.
- 1:06:03[SPEAKER_08]: Which isn't necessarily a good thing.
- 1:06:05[SPEAKER_06]: And I think we're kind of seeing what Aaron Rodgers was in this offense to again.
- 1:06:09[SPEAKER_06]: Some of the, they talked about how there was some McCarthy plays that we're still in there.
- 1:06:13[SPEAKER_06]: It's obviously the shit that he ran with Devontane.
- 1:06:15[SPEAKER_06]: It's like he would switch to things that he wanted to.
- 1:06:18[SPEAKER_06]: And he would get the ball more so to his playmakers.
- 1:06:21[SPEAKER_06]: You know, even like fucking Allen Lizard who he could trust, you know, I don't know what an Allen Lizard would be doing in this offense right now with these guys.
- 1:06:30[SPEAKER_06]: You know, he wouldn't be nearly as productive as he was with Aaron Rodgers.
- 1:06:35[SPEAKER_06]: those years with Devante, but I don't know, we'll see, and it's going to be interesting too because Christian Watson, I don't know if he's going to play this week against the Cardinals.
- 1:06:44[SPEAKER_06]: I wonder if the Packers coaching staff is thinking about how the last time we played the Cardinals, Robert Tungin and Kael and Hill both tore their ACLs at that stadium, so maybe they'll wait another week.
- 1:06:55[SPEAKER_06]: Which is weird because that's a grass field.
- 1:06:57[SPEAKER_06]: It is a grass field, yeah, it's a good point, and the week after that we played Pittsburgh outside, so maybe that'll be,
- 1:07:03[SPEAKER_06]: A little bit better.
- 1:07:04[SPEAKER_06]: I don't know.
- 1:07:05[SPEAKER_06]: We'll see.
- 1:07:06[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I wonder what the science is behind the cardinals curve because it's it's real grass But they move it inside outside To grow it, so maybe it's a little bit different.
- 1:07:17[SPEAKER_06]: Maybe someday we'll look that up.
- 1:07:18[SPEAKER_06]: Probably not
- 1:07:19[SPEAKER_08]: I would say maybe like the only difference would be like the fact that it's like on rollers.
- 1:07:24[SPEAKER_06]: Right.
- 1:07:24[SPEAKER_08]: There's no like real ground.
- 1:07:26[SPEAKER_08]: It's like, yeah, how it's like a big tray.
- 1:07:28[SPEAKER_08]: What's it's like a big lunch tray?
- 1:07:29[SPEAKER_08]: What's the typical section call for for that?
- 1:07:32[SPEAKER_08]: That's a really good question.
- 1:07:33[SPEAKER_06]: Can we see it typical or cross section for that?
- 1:07:36[SPEAKER_06]: But it is in like wicks, you know, I put this out on Twitter and it's getting a little bit of traction right now How he retweeted Christian Watson's father talking about the offense and how it's not like a one receiver offense like everyone kind of gets the ball So wicks might be showing some type of frustration one way or another, but it's going to be interesting We saw what happened with Romeo dobs last year where it's gonna be dobs
- 1:08:00[SPEAKER_06]: Matthew Golden, David Wicks, Christian Watson, Jaden Reed, but every hit gets back, uh, Savion Williams too.
- 1:08:06[SPEAKER_06]: Like maybe we do have to end up trading someone just out of necessity because we have a lot of decent receivers there, but either way it's going to be, I don't know, I'm, I don't know if I'm saying I'm looking forward to see what happens.
- 1:08:19[SPEAKER_06]: It should be a good thing for the Packers, but maybe there will be some type of drama along the line later this year.
- 1:08:25[SPEAKER_06]: I hope not, but we'll see.
- 1:08:27[SPEAKER_08]: I did look up that field, Arizona's field that looks like pretty hefty, that big tray that moves in and out, which obviously it has to be hefty to carry the field, whatever.
- 1:08:41[SPEAKER_08]: But it's like, I want to say it looks like it's like three feet tall.
- 1:08:46[SPEAKER_06]: So maybe it's just, I don't know, I don't know what's in there, but when I went to turf stadium or actual turf or whatever, how far down it is with whatever they put in for that, the rubber, how many, how many feet of rubber pellets do they have?
- 1:09:01[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, it's a good question because like obviously that whole thing has like drain and everything too if they water it so I don't know what's in there.
- 1:09:08[SPEAKER_08]: Maybe it is like maybe there's only like six inches of dirt and so maybe it's harder.
- 1:09:13[SPEAKER_06]: I don't know we'll never know uh stump Spenny Got this stump Spenny for the week.
- 1:09:19[SPEAKER_06]: I am two and three so far this year so under 500 I'm I'm always very close with my answers, but I'm not always right.
- 1:09:30[SPEAKER_08]: Some spending for the week, who was the packers leading Russia in their 2021 win against Arizona?
- 1:09:39[SPEAKER_09]: Hmm, it was last time we played them.
- 1:09:48[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, because I think Aaron Jones and Devante were both out of that game.
- 1:09:54[SPEAKER_06]: AJ Dillon might have been it.
- 1:09:57[SPEAKER_06]: Again, Kael and Hill tore his ACL in that game.
- 1:10:01[SPEAKER_06]: Jamal Williams had to have been gone by then.
- 1:10:03[SPEAKER_06]: I'm pretty sure.
- 1:10:04[SPEAKER_06]: So it's probably AJ Dillon, but who was our other back?
- 1:10:09[SPEAKER_06]: Was it a Tyler Goodson?
- 1:10:11[SPEAKER_06]: Was it a god who else do we have back then?
- 1:10:17[SPEAKER_06]: I got it might have even been... Oh man.
- 1:10:23[SPEAKER_06]: How about this?
- 1:10:24[SPEAKER_06]: Is it you're saying that you're saying that leading Russia?
- 1:10:29[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 1:10:30[SPEAKER_06]: So it doesn't have to be a running back.
- 1:10:33[SPEAKER_08]: The leading Russia is what it could be a running back could be someone else.
- 1:10:38[SPEAKER_06]: Okay.
- 1:10:39[SPEAKER_06]: I didn't get much of a face from me there.
- 1:10:41[SPEAKER_06]: I think it could be a GDL.
- 1:10:42[SPEAKER_06]: But for whatever reason I want to say it was Aaron Rogers.
- 1:10:47[SPEAKER_08]: Is that a final answer?
- 1:10:48[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 1:10:49[SPEAKER_08]: AJ Dillon.
- 1:10:50[SPEAKER_08]: Fuck.
- 1:10:50[SPEAKER_08]: God damn it.
- 1:10:52[SPEAKER_08]: God damn it.
- 1:10:53[SPEAKER_08]: Billy, if you're listening, I had my poker face on it.
- 1:10:58[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 1:10:59[SPEAKER_06]: I should have known.
- 1:11:00[SPEAKER_06]: Fuck.
- 1:11:00[SPEAKER_06]: I even knew I... Hey, you're dead.
- 1:11:02[SPEAKER_06]: You least.
- 1:11:03[SPEAKER_06]: At least people listen and you know I wasn't way off there.
- 1:11:07[SPEAKER_06]: I broke it all down.
- 1:11:08[SPEAKER_06]: I knew Aaron Jones didn't play in that game guy I think ages when I'm one thing that sucks and this is not a good thing for me as a person But I don't like that agey Dylan will go down in his history as one year He was the leading rusher for the packers and I think it was that wild Alex Green was too though way back in the day Remember him at a Hawaii oh, yeah
- 1:11:27[SPEAKER_08]: That's right out of Hawaii.
- 1:11:29[SPEAKER_08]: That's right.
- 1:11:29[SPEAKER_06]: He was a bad player.
- 1:11:30[SPEAKER_06]: He had really cool dreadlocks though, and he wore I think he was number 30 and the last name green So you could take your number 30 green jersey's out for cyclot.
- 1:11:39[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, with that We have our preview of the Cardinals game We are playing the Arizona Cardinals at 325 in Arizona on Fox.
- 1:11:50[SPEAKER_06]: They just use on the call
- 1:11:53[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, no, I didn't.
- 1:11:54[SPEAKER_06]: Kenny Elbert, who is fine for what he is.
- 1:11:58[SPEAKER_06]: He's been fucked forever.
- 1:11:59[SPEAKER_06]: He's been fired with.
- 1:12:00[SPEAKER_06]: That means he has paired up with Jonathan Vilma, far and away the worst color commentary guy for Fox now that Mark Sanchez is probably better by now.
- 1:12:11[SPEAKER_06]: uh... nope i've only heard bad things since he's stuck around like he's always just yelling for whatever he's and so i've had to get this year but i might have to sink up wane larvie and uh... lary mccaren for this one on packers dot com because john it didn't feel like it's terrible did you hear about marks and just you see that
- 1:12:28[SPEAKER_08]: Oh, I don't what's real about it.
- 1:12:30[SPEAKER_08]: He stabbed somebody or someone stabbed him.
- 1:12:32[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, it seemed like it was he was drunk And he started some shit with the door-dash driver delivery guy.
- 1:12:38[SPEAKER_06]: It was a big old truck The guy had a defend himself with me since stab them It might be a felony for Mark Sanchez, but we'll see in its sucks because I wanted Mark Sanchez to be taken off Fox and like being a color commentator because he's so bad at it But sure.
- 1:12:54[SPEAKER_06]: I didn't want it to happen like this.
- 1:12:56[SPEAKER_06]: You know, I wanted him to die
- 1:12:59[SPEAKER_08]: You want to beat the bears, but not because J. Cutler gets hurt.
- 1:13:03[SPEAKER_06]: Right.
- 1:13:04[SPEAKER_06]: Because he dies.
- 1:13:06[SPEAKER_06]: Because the Cardinals, not very good.
- 1:13:10[SPEAKER_06]: They are two and four.
- 1:13:12[SPEAKER_06]: They lost a close game to the Colts last week, 31 to 27.
- 1:13:17[SPEAKER_06]: Marking their fourth consecutive loss.
- 1:13:19[SPEAKER_06]: Back up quarterback, Jacoby Brissette was filling in four Kyler Murray.
- 1:13:23[SPEAKER_06]: He had a decent game through 120 yards and two touchdowns with a team fell short.
- 1:13:28[SPEAKER_06]: late in the fourth, despite the loss, they had key contributions from Z-Jones, Trahmic Ride, and Michael Wilson, because they had injuries to Marvin Harrison Jr., so, and obviously the Kyler Murray being out, so something to watch, I believe a Marvin Harrison had a concussion, so we'll have to see if he gets out of the concussion protocol, and then Kyler Murray, I believe it's a foot injury, so he'll have to watch the injury of port throughout the week to see if he plays, but either way.
- 1:13:56[SPEAKER_06]: with it being a foot.
- 1:13:58[SPEAKER_06]: It's a little bit better because obviously he is quite the runner.
- 1:14:01[SPEAKER_06]: He has the, have you seen, have you heard what people compare his running to?
- 1:14:06[SPEAKER_02]: Tyler?
- 1:14:06[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 1:14:07[SPEAKER_06]: Do he runs around?
- 1:14:08[SPEAKER_06]: No.
- 1:14:09[SPEAKER_06]: He runs around like a little baby that like got the TV or motor something and he's like run away from me.
- 1:14:15[SPEAKER_06]: Like it's just, it's very, Caleb Williams kind of has it too where it's like, the legs are almost in front of the body when he runs.
- 1:14:21[SPEAKER_06]: It's just a very odd way about him.
- 1:14:24[SPEAKER_06]: Hi, knees.
- 1:14:25[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, the their offense.
- 1:14:27[SPEAKER_06]: Again, not very good.
- 1:14:29[SPEAKER_06]: A lot of their rankings are the bottom third points per game.
- 1:14:31[SPEAKER_06]: They are ranked 20th with 21.7 They have 304 yards per game of offense, which is 22nd and the league.
- 1:14:39[SPEAKER_06]: They're at the 6th the best third down
- 1:14:42[SPEAKER_06]: offense in football and the fourth best fourth down offense in football.
- 1:14:48[SPEAKER_06]: Again, they're middleing their their sect 8% of the time, which is 25th in the league, not good.
- 1:14:55[SPEAKER_06]: So again, just not a very good offense.
- 1:14:57[SPEAKER_06]: They're not a very good running offense either a little bit better passing the ball, but they've had some injuries from the running backs on defense.
- 1:15:05[SPEAKER_06]: They're giving up 21.2 points for game, which is 14th best in the league.
- 1:15:09[SPEAKER_06]: They're top 10 in a points per
- 1:15:13[SPEAKER_06]: 7th best third down defense at 36% and they also get sacks on 44.4% of the time which is 27th best in the league.
- 1:15:21[SPEAKER_06]: Their past D is not good, it's again like 25th 26th I believe.
- 1:15:28[SPEAKER_06]: Again, offense, collar Marie, probably not going to play, so it'll be Jacoie-Percet the long time backup.
- 1:15:33[SPEAKER_06]: Probably one of the better backups in the league, just a very steady.
- 1:15:37[SPEAKER_06]: He's going to go out there, maybe throw a pick, but he usually isn't very mistaken oriented.
- 1:15:43[SPEAKER_08]: I don't think he's like the he's like one of the best guys to come off the bench.
- 1:15:46[SPEAKER_06]: I feel like yes Yeah, yeah, he did pretty good with the Patriots a couple years ago a tray Benson and James Conner the top two backs are both on the I R So they're backs right now are BAM night Michael Carter and a married them dimmer Cotto who's the guy who
- 1:16:02[SPEAKER_06]: Through the ball or drop the ball when it was scoring a couple of weeks ago, and then the coach like grabbed him on the sideline So last week that group average 3.3 yards per carry none of them had an average higher than 3.8 so they're not a great running team
- 1:16:18[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, biggest offensive weapon to worry about is probably Trey McBride, they're leading receiver 347 receiving arts and two touchdowns.
- 1:16:25[SPEAKER_06]: Again, I mean, Marvin Harrison will see a few plays, but tight ends seem to give the packers issues for the most part, especially the beginning of the year, Santa Porta and Earth's both had pretty good games against us, Ferguson as well for the Cowboys.
- 1:16:40[SPEAKER_06]: And Marvin Harrison, I mean up and down, I think there was a lot of chatter early in the season that he was a bum.
- 1:16:45[SPEAKER_06]: But not really a bum, maybe not far in the way the best receiver out of that draft classroom last year.
- 1:16:50[SPEAKER_06]: But still pretty solid wide out, so we will see if he's able to go on defense.
- 1:16:54[SPEAKER_06]: They have Matt Wilson's senior, they're a linebacker and leading tackler.
- 1:16:58[SPEAKER_06]: Josh sweat, the edge defender.
- 1:17:01[SPEAKER_06]: He leads the team with five, sacks, and six tackles for losses.
- 1:17:05[SPEAKER_06]: He was,
- 1:17:06[SPEAKER_06]: Let's see the guy out of the Roshan Gary draft class too.
- 1:17:08[SPEAKER_06]: He's more of a bendy edge.
- 1:17:11[SPEAKER_06]: Was that Montez sweat?
- 1:17:13[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 1:17:32[SPEAKER_06]: I will Johnson the rookie out of Michigan.
- 1:17:33[SPEAKER_06]: Remember how he's having a pretty good year so far.
- 1:17:36[SPEAKER_06]: He hasn't been injured.
- 1:17:37[SPEAKER_06]: Remember he had that weird foot injury that kind of kept him off some draft boards.
- 1:17:42[SPEAKER_06]: And then there are two former Packers on this team, one on the 53, one on the practice squad on the 53.
- 1:17:48[SPEAKER_06]: Remember, Pat O'Donnell, our puncher for one year, who was then replaced by Hoelon, he got signed this week.
- 1:17:55[SPEAKER_06]: I don't think he, he punted a bit for the Niners maybe two years ago, but I think he was out of the league all of last year, but got on him getting a gig again, and then on the practice squad.
- 1:18:07[SPEAKER_06]: Our beloved Josiah, the Messiah, DeGuara, there's one who is going to be, whoo, whoo, it's good for him for still be the league, honestly.
- 1:18:18[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, it just shows you the difference between a guy like Josiah Maguara, DeGuara and DeGuara.
- 1:18:24[SPEAKER_06]: And Jay Sternberger.
- 1:18:26[SPEAKER_06]: where DeGuara, he could play special teams, he knows his role, I'm sure he puts his nose in the playbook, and Jay Stringberger gets his nose into illegal drugs potentially, and then he doesn't stick around the league very much.
- 1:18:38[SPEAKER_06]: Allegedly, it wasn't any, he got in trouble for taking pills or something.
- 1:18:43[SPEAKER_06]: He seems to have his shit together a little bit better now.
- 1:18:46[SPEAKER_08]: When you said nose, I thought,
- 1:18:49[SPEAKER_06]: You know, yeah.
- 1:18:50[SPEAKER_06]: I think you can eat pills with your nose, too.
- 1:18:52[SPEAKER_06]: I don't know.
- 1:18:54[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, put your mind to it.
- 1:18:56[SPEAKER_06]: You can do anything.
- 1:18:57[SPEAKER_06]: Put your nose to it.
- 1:18:58[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 1:18:59[SPEAKER_06]: Um, yeah.
- 1:19:00[SPEAKER_06]: That's the cardinals.
- 1:19:01[SPEAKER_06]: Again, we're playing there.
- 1:19:02[SPEAKER_06]: Very lead.
- 1:19:04[SPEAKER_06]: What?
- 1:19:06[SPEAKER_06]: Mountain ball.
- 1:19:07[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, yeah.
- 1:19:08[SPEAKER_06]: Good point.
- 1:19:10[SPEAKER_06]: Do we have this to happen before?
- 1:19:11[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, yeah.
- 1:19:12[SPEAKER_06]: We played the cardinals last night.
- 1:19:14[SPEAKER_06]: I forgot.
- 1:19:14[SPEAKER_06]: We played them at Lambo last year.
- 1:19:19[SPEAKER_06]: I don't know, I don't, I'll look it up.
- 1:19:21[SPEAKER_06]: I think we did, but no wonder if it was the Texas, but we definitely had a melt-and-bowl last year.
- 1:19:26[SPEAKER_06]: I don't know if they lined up against each other.
- 1:19:29[SPEAKER_06]: We had to have.
- 1:19:30[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, we definitely did, didn't we, because we talked about it last year.
- 1:19:34[SPEAKER_06]: Okay, yeah.
- 1:19:34[SPEAKER_06]: So anyways, Todd, what are your thoughts on this game?
- 1:19:40[SPEAKER_08]: Uh, yeah, I wish I should have done better scouting.
- 1:19:43[SPEAKER_08]: I usually like to watch when we were playing the upcoming week.
- 1:19:47[SPEAKER_08]: I didn't see the Cardinals play against the Colts.
- 1:19:51[SPEAKER_06]: We did win 34 to 13 last year.
- 1:19:54[SPEAKER_06]: Okay, at Lambo.
- 1:19:55[SPEAKER_08]: So it was the melt bowl.
- 1:19:56[SPEAKER_06]: It was probably the best our team looked on offense just about all year.
- 1:20:01[SPEAKER_08]: Sure.
- 1:20:03[SPEAKER_08]: I don't know.
- 1:20:04[SPEAKER_08]: This this team does seem, I don't know.
- 1:20:09[SPEAKER_08]: They didn't do horrible.
- 1:20:10[SPEAKER_08]: What was the score last week against the, uh, against the, uh, Colts 2731.
- 1:20:19[SPEAKER_08]: That's not bad.
- 1:20:20[SPEAKER_08]: The Colts have looked really good.
- 1:20:22[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 1:20:23[SPEAKER_06]: Well, I'm there.
- 1:20:24[SPEAKER_06]: I'm not.
- 1:20:24[SPEAKER_08]: Can I be frauds, but yes.
- 1:20:27[SPEAKER_08]: they have put up some big numbers though um i don't know this one feels like it feels like it could be close especially the way we've been playing just letting teams stick around don't feel super great about just like where our team is at coming to this one
- 1:20:43[SPEAKER_08]: I still feel like this is a W on the sheet.
- 1:20:47[SPEAKER_08]: I still, you know, that was definitely a W that I marked down at the beginning of the season.
- 1:20:51[SPEAKER_08]: I still feel that way, but it just feels like we have to take this more seriously if we don't.
- 1:20:58[SPEAKER_08]: This could get ugly.
- 1:20:59[SPEAKER_06]: I hope that's what Matt says on locker room.
- 1:21:01[SPEAKER_06]: Guys, let's just say this one seriously.
- 1:21:05[SPEAKER_08]: We do have to take it seriously and like I don't know going on the road is different than being at home, right?
- 1:21:11[SPEAKER_08]: So you can definitely let a game can get away from you on the road.
- 1:21:15[SPEAKER_08]: We're like at home.
- 1:21:16[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
- 1:21:16[SPEAKER_08]: It's easy to real everybody back in.
- 1:21:19[SPEAKER_08]: So we just like...
- 1:21:20[SPEAKER_08]: The focus needs to be there.
- 1:21:22[SPEAKER_08]: The stupid, like, I don't know, just like the really short everything in front of the defense has to stop.
- 1:21:29[SPEAKER_08]: We need to push the ball a little bit further down the field.
- 1:21:31[SPEAKER_08]: Those are like, that's my big thing.
- 1:21:33[SPEAKER_08]: And then just like, like we talked about before, it's just the defense has to be better at the end of the game.
- 1:21:39[SPEAKER_08]: We just can't let it run away at the end.
- 1:21:42[SPEAKER_08]: So I, in general, feel good.
- 1:21:44[SPEAKER_08]: It's just, at the end of the first quarter, if we're looking lax, I'm gonna get nervous.
- 1:21:50[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, no, that's fair.
- 1:21:51[SPEAKER_06]: We let, put this out on Sunday, Matt LaFlor loves to keep shitty coaches around and keep some par teams around the entire game.
- 1:22:00[SPEAKER_06]: I like what you said about this being in a way game that has been something we've lacked so far this year.
- 1:22:06[SPEAKER_06]: Hopefully the offense can go out and rip it early because, you know, the offensive line, especially it's just they haven't been as good on the road when they haven't been able to use their full account.
- 1:22:16[SPEAKER_06]: They have got to go
- 1:22:19[SPEAKER_06]: So we'll see again the full offensive line.
- 1:22:21[SPEAKER_06]: Maybe Christian Watson's back.
- 1:22:24[SPEAKER_06]: Well, I don't know.
- 1:22:26[SPEAKER_06]: We should be it should be a cake walkish.
- 1:22:29[SPEAKER_06]: I hope Again, this is a real intense, but she sounds cooler
- 1:22:34[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, what we'll should be, especially if he's passing the ball to, if he's not able to run all that much, we've been saying it for multiple weeks in our own now where this should be a game where we can maybe blow him out, you know, we said about the browns, maybe not so much about the cowboys, we thought the bangles, we blow him out a little bit more.
- 1:22:51[SPEAKER_06]: So hopefully it happens here, I don't know.
- 1:22:54[SPEAKER_06]: I still get like weird PBGBs with that stadium.
- 1:22:57[SPEAKER_06]: I think of the Jeff Janis game that we should have won.
- 1:23:00[SPEAKER_06]: I think of the 2009 playoffs where it was like 53 to 57 or whatever the fuck that score was against Kurt Warner.
- 1:23:08[SPEAKER_06]: Aaron Rogers, official coming out party.
- 1:23:12[SPEAKER_06]: So maybe this could be, that's not the playoffs, but I feel good.
- 1:23:18[SPEAKER_06]: We're playing at 3.25.
- 1:23:20[SPEAKER_06]: If we were playing at noon, I'd definitely be more nervous, but with a being a 325 game, you know, it's not fun lately.
- 1:23:27[SPEAKER_08]: Have you heard that cause they have heard players talk about like, they hate the night games, they hate Monday night, they hate Thursday night, like they all like the new game.
- 1:23:37[SPEAKER_08]: They all want new games so that they can go home.
- 1:23:39[SPEAKER_08]: what the new game's kind of like if you look at it as a fan anyway it feels like the new games are where you get trapped more likely to be trapped games for sure always yeah we should see if one is the browns game yeah why is it that way though it's like you get closer to prime time and your team typically plays better
- 1:23:57[SPEAKER_06]: It's just where the, where the sun is above the stadium and where it hits it.
- 1:24:02[SPEAKER_06]: That's, that's what it is, um, astrology, astrology, astrology, yeah.
- 1:24:08[SPEAKER_06]: It's, it's all, it's all above our pay grade.
- 1:24:10[SPEAKER_06]: You know, it's God.
- 1:24:11[SPEAKER_06]: It's the universe.
- 1:24:14[SPEAKER_06]: It's, uh, Buddha.
- 1:24:15[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, it's all of those, all those guys.
- 1:24:18[SPEAKER_06]: Buddha is Buddha, a god.
- 1:24:20[SPEAKER_06]: I, I actually don't check your knowledge.
- 1:24:22[SPEAKER_06]: Buddha, you know, who isn't a god, Buddha Baker.
- 1:24:25[SPEAKER_06]: He's just a marginal safety now because he's giving the older.
- 1:24:29[SPEAKER_08]: Buddha is... Can't tell, what compete he's not telling.
- 1:24:35[SPEAKER_06]: All right, away, it's awesome fun.
- 1:24:36[SPEAKER_06]: Okay, with that Todd, what is your score prediction for the scheme?
- 1:24:40[SPEAKER_08]: So I'm going to give you Billy's because I when I got Billy's I was unhappy with his his numbers because it's going to make mine sound dumb.
- 1:24:50[SPEAKER_08]: So he had Green Bay 2713.
- 1:24:52[SPEAKER_08]: So maybe Billy also was
- 1:25:00[SPEAKER_08]: So I was also just for fun.
- 1:25:02[SPEAKER_08]: Get ahead it.
- 1:25:03[SPEAKER_06]: Todd and I talked about this beforehand.
- 1:25:06[SPEAKER_06]: I think before we were recording.
- 1:25:07[SPEAKER_06]: Packers of scored 27 points three times this year, including last week.
- 1:25:11[SPEAKER_06]: It was week one week two.
- 1:25:14[SPEAKER_06]: Then we had two weeks where we didn't.
- 1:25:15[SPEAKER_06]: And then last week we did.
- 1:25:16[SPEAKER_06]: So if you follow the pattern.
- 1:25:19[SPEAKER_06]: It's two on two off two on.
- 1:25:21[SPEAKER_06]: So we should score 27 points again.
- 1:25:25[SPEAKER_08]: So Billy's on to it.
- 1:25:26[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, he knows he has 21 13 21 13 sorry 27 13 So I'm just gonna go I'm gonna go 27 18 Wow, which has been which has hit twice this So yeah, just for fun.
- 1:25:44[SPEAKER_06]: It makes sense when you look at the schedule But when you work out love averages it seems incredibly unlikely
- 1:25:50[SPEAKER_08]: but two of five games have ended that way.
- 1:25:53[SPEAKER_08]: True, I was really good.
- 1:25:55[SPEAKER_06]: Unfortunately, I have the same score as Billy 27 to 13.
- 1:26:00[SPEAKER_06]: I had it written down already, so I'm not going to change it.
- 1:26:04[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, me and Billy.
- 1:26:05[SPEAKER_06]: This is ridiculous.
- 1:26:07[SPEAKER_06]: So Todd, what is yours or Billy's bold prediction?
- 1:26:10[SPEAKER_08]: I'm going to give you Billy's again, so Billy says three turnovers, which honestly this year is pretty bold.
- 1:26:18[SPEAKER_06]: It would be more than we've had all season combined.
- 1:26:22[SPEAKER_08]: So that's a lot of let me know if this one is bold.
- 1:26:25[SPEAKER_08]: This is mine.
- 1:26:26[SPEAKER_08]: Okay.
- 1:26:26[SPEAKER_08]: I'm going to say over a hundred yards for Matthew gold.
- 1:26:28[SPEAKER_08]: Is that bold?
- 1:26:30[SPEAKER_06]: I'm going to say that is not bold enough since he nearly did it last week.
- 1:26:34[SPEAKER_08]: Let's go two touchdowns for golden then Jesus Christ.
- 1:26:37[SPEAKER_06]: Okay.
- 1:26:38[SPEAKER_08]: You don't like that.
- 1:26:39[SPEAKER_08]: I can't do three it.
- 1:26:40[SPEAKER_06]: I'll never hit no that I'm saying it because that's literally what my bolt But it's going to be it's going to be two Matthew golden touchdowns.
- 1:26:49[SPEAKER_06]: Let's see cardinals.
- 1:26:51[SPEAKER_06]: God who else could who hasn't scored who hasn't done much.
- 1:26:55[SPEAKER_06]: Who's you know what?
- 1:26:56[SPEAKER_06]: God
- 1:26:59[SPEAKER_08]: You can go sweet boy Tucker.
- 1:27:01[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I know, but I've I take him too much.
- 1:27:03[SPEAKER_06]: I'm gonna go Xavier no Yeah, fuck it Xavier McKinney two picks fuck it.
- 1:27:14[SPEAKER_06]: It's not gonna happen two picks.
- 1:27:16[SPEAKER_06]: They don't even challenge him But Kyler Murray's banged up and he's a dumb dumb.
- 1:27:20[SPEAKER_06]: I think he's gonna what's still a little bit more
- 1:27:23[SPEAKER_08]: Who are their tackles?
- 1:27:24[SPEAKER_08]: I'm just wondering if Micah Parsons has the opportunity to have a big day.
- 1:27:28[SPEAKER_06]: If they give up quite a few sacks like I said, they're bottom third in the league.
- 1:27:31[SPEAKER_06]: So there's the potential for that.
- 1:27:33[SPEAKER_06]: I was thinking Eddren Cooper, Koi Walker 2, you know what?
- 1:27:35[SPEAKER_06]: Fuck, eh, not X, not X. We're gonna do Koi Walker 2 sacks.
- 1:27:41[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, Koi.
- 1:27:42[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I like it.
- 1:27:43[SPEAKER_06]: Koi, baby.
- 1:27:44[SPEAKER_06]: With that any more thoughts on that game?
- 1:27:47[SPEAKER_08]: Um no, I'm excited.
- 1:27:49[SPEAKER_08]: I like having these three 30 games.
- 1:27:51[SPEAKER_08]: That's that's my favorite.
- 1:27:54[SPEAKER_08]: I do might be my favorite time.
- 1:27:57[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I go back and forth.
- 1:27:58[SPEAKER_06]: It's just like the right time of the day.
- 1:27:59[SPEAKER_06]: I guess it depends on what's going on because yeah If you have like four beers during the noon game the rest if you like you need a nap if you if you have a few beers During the three o'clock game, it's like, okay, I can piggyback this into the rest of my night and then fall asleep
- 1:28:17[SPEAKER_08]: What happens is like the when we get to the late game if I've had a few beers Then I get sleepy Going into the late game like I because I pushed my nap off because I'm so excited for the game And then you get to the and then you're like groggy going and you have to like you get, you know Obviously, I'm gonna leave fan so I get up for the game like I I elevate but it's tough, right?
- 1:28:42[SPEAKER_08]: It takes more from me, you know, and sometimes I have to just have an extra beer
- 1:28:45[SPEAKER_08]: right to then just like boost me a little bit.
- 1:28:48[SPEAKER_06]: I've turned, I've had some develops some bad habits this year.
- 1:28:52[SPEAKER_06]: I always, so I've gone back to the the, not the McGoldens, the highlights, so I have a six pack ready for me every weekend.
- 1:29:01[SPEAKER_06]: I might have one to two the day before or maybe I drink all six on Sunday, but usually we have some type of alcohol, hard to liquor,
- 1:29:10[SPEAKER_06]: Um, in the kitchen and depending on how the game's going.
- 1:29:13[SPEAKER_06]: If I need to switch it up, I will form myself a shot and just rip it to change whatever is going on in the game.
- 1:29:19[SPEAKER_06]: I haven't had do that as much lately.
- 1:29:21[SPEAKER_06]: Um, I don't know where I was going with this.
- 1:29:25[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, what's your like pregame?
- 1:29:26[SPEAKER_06]: What do you do game day?
- 1:29:28[SPEAKER_06]: I know you have children, so maybe you have less flexibility, but like how do you get up for the game as you say?
- 1:29:35[SPEAKER_08]: I So like if it's a new game, it's usually nothing, which I think is why I like the three third because it's like he's it's just busy like I'm just like I just need to get home or do whatever the morning and time so I can watch the game here
- 1:29:51[SPEAKER_08]: But like the 330 game, then I'm watching, kind of flipping through, doing split screen, shout out YouTube TV on the noon games, which is fun.
- 1:30:00[SPEAKER_08]: And I like that.
- 1:30:01[SPEAKER_08]: That just kind of gets me like prepared.
- 1:30:04[SPEAKER_08]: But then if it's like a seven o'clock game, it is like that weird, like go do something in the afternoon because I don't wanna, you know, I want to.
- 1:30:12[SPEAKER_08]: I shouldn't sit around all day and watch football, although it does happen some Sundays and those are great.
- 1:30:18[SPEAKER_08]: But it's like, so that's why I like the 330 the most because then if I don't care about the Sunday night game, I can skip that and we can go, you know, do something after that.
- 1:30:26[SPEAKER_08]: So I don't know, but I don't like have any, I feel like I don't really have any like pre game rituals anymore, unfortunately.
- 1:30:34[SPEAKER_06]: I do, I don't really have the rituals, besides well, I always wear whatever I wear the previous week.
- 1:30:39[SPEAKER_06]: If we won, I did text about a Victor, Kyle's brother who used to be on the podcast, because after the tie, and I know he's superstitious too, I was like, do I wear the same thing as last week, and I did and it worked.
- 1:30:53[SPEAKER_06]: So I will be wearing it again, you know, after the tides like what do I don't I he said yes, so I did it worked out It was after went through the wash So maybe that's why too we washed off that loss and we had enough good juju after that I usually listen to you Yes, been Milwaukee's pre-game stuff and they'll have like Rob Demovsky and Jason will be on there for an hour and then I'll watch the games Well, that's going on but
- 1:31:15[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, football, um, yeah.
- 1:31:18[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 1:31:18[SPEAKER_06]: You got some.
- 1:31:19[SPEAKER_08]: I did look it up Paris Johnson is their left tackle.
- 1:31:22[SPEAKER_08]: Is he old?
- 1:31:24[SPEAKER_08]: I literally had to because I'm like I know who Paris Johnson is right, but I'm like for eight years.
- 1:31:32[SPEAKER_08]: Uh, I bet now that you say that I am gonna look it up, but like
- 1:31:35[SPEAKER_06]: I don't know if he's good, yeah, yeah, that's very fair.
- 1:31:39[SPEAKER_06]: He must be fine, whatever, we'll find out about that.
- 1:31:42[SPEAKER_06]: He's only 24 years old.
- 1:31:43[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, okay.
- 1:31:44[SPEAKER_08]: The reason I know him is because he's fairly new to the league.
- 1:31:47[SPEAKER_06]: Did he go to Ohio State?
- 1:31:48[SPEAKER_06]: Was he a high-round draft pick?
- 1:31:50[SPEAKER_08]: Oh, that does sound right when they look.
- 1:31:52[SPEAKER_08]: Yep.
- 1:31:52[SPEAKER_06]: Yep, okay.
- 1:31:53[SPEAKER_06]: There we go.
- 1:31:53[SPEAKER_06]: I'll just save ourselves there.
- 1:31:55[SPEAKER_06]: We're not completed yet.
- 1:31:56[SPEAKER_06]: But with that, everyone's favorite part of the podcast.
- 1:31:59[SPEAKER_06]: We can please do a five-star review or rating on Apple or Spotify.
- 1:32:03[SPEAKER_06]: That would be very cool.

- 1:32:06[SPEAKER_06]: Come on.
- 1:32:07[SPEAKER_06]: We need more download.
- 1:32:08[SPEAKER_06]: It's very important to us.
- 1:32:09[SPEAKER_06]: We need to feel accomplished or something along those lines.
- 1:32:13[SPEAKER_06]: You can leave a comment on Spotify.
- 1:32:15[SPEAKER_06]: We'll read it on the podcast.
- 1:32:16[SPEAKER_06]: You can leave a review on Apple and we will read it.
- 1:32:19[SPEAKER_06]: And if you want a cozy,
- 1:32:20[SPEAKER_06]: Email us a pmp pod guess at gmail.com or dimerson twitter at pmp pod.
- 1:32:25[SPEAKER_06]: We did have Michael who emailed in asking for a Tuesday did not email back to him, but he said, hey, he's been a listener since year one Can I please get a cruise you to rub the bit brand and I want to get on Michael here because I say if you want a cozy You can have one every single fucking week
- 1:32:44[SPEAKER_06]: and this guy has been listening for seven years.
- 1:32:47[SPEAKER_06]: Michael seven years and he didn't think of asking for a coosie until now.
- 1:32:50[SPEAKER_06]: Yes, you, of course, going to have a coosie.
- 1:32:52[SPEAKER_06]: I just wish you would have, you know, reached out to wrap the brand sooner.
- 1:32:55[SPEAKER_06]: Maybe you didn't.
- 1:32:55[SPEAKER_06]: I forgot.
- 1:32:56[SPEAKER_06]: We already gave you one.
- 1:32:56[SPEAKER_06]: But hey, you're going to give another one comments this week.
- 1:33:00[SPEAKER_06]: We got tonight.
- 1:33:01[SPEAKER_08]: Can I, can I give you a conspiracy theory?
- 1:33:03[SPEAKER_08]: Okay.
- 1:33:05[SPEAKER_08]: Michael is actually not Michael and he already ordered one and then he lost it And so he's like why can't be like I lost it So under a different name a secret name.
- 1:33:16[SPEAKER_08]: That's so that's my guess That's fair.
- 1:33:18[SPEAKER_06]: Well, he also commented on Spotify and said bold prediction for this week is a 50 burger all gas no breaks I believe he said that before the bankless game love it.
- 1:33:26[SPEAKER_06]: So he was wrong But maybe maybe we'll see if you keep doubling down
- 1:33:33[SPEAKER_06]: eventually you're gonna hit you'll get your burgers and I guess we're reading it this week maybe we'll get the 50 burger against the cartinals and then Ben and Hobart like I said he said who else said dad tax out loud after the INT on the first position so all of us all of us watching uh yeah the dad tax is just taken off um
- 1:33:53[SPEAKER_06]: Hopefully no dad text this week or if it doesn't mean again Jordan love at least he had it in the first quarter That's when we wanted if it's gonna happen But Todd I don't have anything else do you have anything else we talked about Buddha Buddha is not a god.
- 1:34:07[SPEAKER_06]: Hey Buddha is a teacher You know who else is a teacher I don't know who Lucas have a have a have a sick
- 1:34:18[SPEAKER_08]: The, uh, substitute.
- 1:34:19[SPEAKER_08]: Yep.
- 1:34:19[SPEAKER_06]: Did you see that we cut, uh, McNamey, the Irish kid who is the international player on the practice.
- 1:34:25[SPEAKER_08]: So I don't, what I don't understand is why do that?
- 1:34:27[SPEAKER_08]: Well, I do you put another international player on the list?
- 1:34:31[SPEAKER_06]: Yes, I was it.
- 1:34:32[SPEAKER_06]: I think they'll bring someone else into be the international player.
- 1:34:35[SPEAKER_06]: And they're just going to have Lucas be on the practice squad as our emergency kicker the rest of the year.
- 1:34:41[SPEAKER_06]: That's what I assume is happening.
- 1:34:42[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, we didn't talk about this either.
- 1:34:43[SPEAKER_06]: I guess that makes sense.
- 1:34:45[SPEAKER_06]: Our kicker Lucas, he had previously worked out with Daniel Wheelin and our long snapper.
- 1:34:52[SPEAKER_06]: So that's the reason why he was brought in to be our kicker because they had already worked together and had the whole operation down.
- 1:34:59[SPEAKER_06]: So when idiots like Michael Rodney, our questioning moves that goodymiics, it's like, hey,
- 1:35:05[SPEAKER_06]: This might be why, you know, maybe Rodney, you don't know anything, and maybe you're just way too much of a pessimist Like we can be at times, but when the rest of that NFL is so healthy.
- 1:35:15[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah?
- 1:35:16[SPEAKER_08]: If there's a lot of people on the beat that are a little too positive, so you got to have Rodney to be like, okay, the middle ground somewhere in between Uh, who's the who's the dude with the glass was not quit?
- 1:35:29[SPEAKER_08]: No, I like West.
- 1:35:30[SPEAKER_08]: Um, he is very positive, but who's the dude?
- 1:35:33[SPEAKER_08]: Like, anyways, doesn't matter.
- 1:35:35[SPEAKER_08]: There's some beat writers out there.
- 1:35:36[SPEAKER_08]: They're a little too corny, a little too positive.
- 1:35:40[SPEAKER_08]: Oh, yes, literally everything.
- 1:35:42[SPEAKER_08]: I don't know.
- 1:35:43[SPEAKER_08]: It's not really.
- 1:35:43[SPEAKER_08]: It's not really.
- 1:35:47[SPEAKER_08]: I may be using beatwriter.
- 1:35:49[SPEAKER_08]: Blah, it's he's not a beatwriter.
- 1:35:51[SPEAKER_06]: Peter Bekelski.
- 1:35:52[SPEAKER_06]: Yes.
- 1:35:52[SPEAKER_06]: Fuckhead.
- 1:35:53[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 1:35:55[SPEAKER_06]: No.
- 1:35:55[SPEAKER_06]: He's he is.
- 1:35:56[SPEAKER_08]: What I'm saying is there's certain people that are just like way too positive and just like, I just need.
- 1:36:02[SPEAKER_08]: I hate Bekelski.
- 1:36:04[SPEAKER_08]: have you ever gone to like a wine tasting and you cleanse your palate between?
- 1:36:08[SPEAKER_08]: I haven't been even but I imagine that is like what it feels like when I see a Ronnie tweet.
- 1:36:16[SPEAKER_08]: It's the same thing of like
- 1:36:23[SPEAKER_06]: The three of them that had the same stat about Lucas how he was like four for nine on field goals over 40 yards He wanted to get that message out and he did but he was wrong because he was just fine with that Todd Do you have anything else?
- 1:36:37[SPEAKER_06]: No, okay.
- 1:36:38[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, age you're doing you're bad at football.
- 1:36:40[SPEAKER_06]: Take a selfie.
- 1:36:41[SPEAKER_01]: See anybody on Twitter or whatever You can't do what we're doing just just enjoy just watch
- 1:36:51[SPEAKER_02]: Just won't hate me And we're done here We're done, man And it took my money away And now we're done
- 1:37:08[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know why I honestly don't remember kindergarten.
- 1:37:14[SPEAKER_08]: That was a blur.
- 1:37:14[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, it was wild as a wild ride It's probably all the naps.
- 1:37:20[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, daily naps.
- 1:37:22[SPEAKER_08]: Can you imagine?
- 1:37:23[SPEAKER_08]: Like what's the purpose of kindergarten?
- 1:37:26[SPEAKER_06]: Uh, basic.
- 1:37:27[SPEAKER_06]: You can ask my mom.
- 1:37:30[SPEAKER_08]: I should like what is the curriculum?
- 1:37:32[SPEAKER_06]: I have I literally can't remember and like it's just get kids to read Yeah, it's get kids to read kids to read kids to read kids to realize what school is and how to act at school How to open your milk?
- 1:37:45[SPEAKER_08]: I could never teach kindergarten I would be so frustrated all day.
- 1:37:50[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, like Why can't you guys figure this out?
- 1:37:53[SPEAKER_08]: This is so easy my mom would always put your shoes on Jimmy
