- 2:15Speaker 1: for you today. O kid, You're not because this is
- 2:18Speaker 1: coming purely from self experience, purely, and it just happened
- 2:23Speaker 1: to me. You know, I was going through something that
- 2:27Speaker 1: I've been going through for a long long time and
- 2:30Speaker 1: just weary of it all. And I've been talking to
- 2:33Speaker 1: God about it, and I mean for for years though,
- 2:36Speaker 1: for years, and I've been saying, Okay, enough is enough,
- 2:40Speaker 1: you know God, I'm really I'm really tired and so.
- 2:45Speaker 1: But you but you know what, h after it was over.
- 2:52Speaker 1: You know, I kind of laid in it for a
- 2:53Speaker 1: little while. You know how you've been going through something
- 2:56Speaker 1: for so long and then even if it's over appears
- 2:59Speaker 1: to be over you you still kind of laying it
- 3:02Speaker 1: a little bit, and you know, you have a a while. Man,
- 3:05Speaker 1: I can't believe I've been dealing with this this long,
- 3:07Speaker 1: even though even though it's over, or you threw with
- 3:11Speaker 1: it for that particular day or what or whatever it
- 3:13Speaker 1: is you threw with it, it's over with for that
- 3:17Speaker 1: day of that period of time, you know, but it's
- 3:19Speaker 1: over for whatever. But I I found myself going, you know, man,
- 3:25Speaker 1: I can't believe it's lasted this long. I was just
- 3:27Speaker 1: talking to myself and I had to catch myself yesterday.
- 3:31Speaker 1: And maybe you've been doing the same thing to yourself.
- 3:34Speaker 1: But man, I had to take an inventory yesterday. I
- 3:38Speaker 1: really did, and it really tripped me out, and I said,
- 3:40Speaker 1: I'm gonna share that with everybody today. You know, have
- 3:43Speaker 1: you ever counted how many times you made it? This
- 3:52Speaker 1: is really good for me. I don't know how you
- 3:54Speaker 1: do it, but this was so good for you for me.
- 3:58Speaker 1: Have you ever counted, Steve Harvey, how many times you
- 4:01Speaker 1: made it? And so that's what I started doing yesterday.
- 4:06Speaker 1: And that's what I did this morning when I woke up,
- 4:08Speaker 1: was getting ready, I was actually taking an inventory account
- 4:15Speaker 1: of how many times I made it. How many times, man,
- 4:20Speaker 1: I didn't have it rent and somehow I came up
- 4:23Speaker 1: with it. How many times I didn't have my house
- 4:25Speaker 1: payment and somehow I came up with it. How many
- 4:29Speaker 1: times I was out of money, did not have enough,
- 4:32Speaker 1: didn't didn't see no way, but somehow I came up
- 4:36Speaker 1: with it. How many times I got sick? I thought, well, man,
- 4:42Speaker 1: this is right here. I don't know what I'm gonna do,
- 4:43Speaker 1: but somehow I got my health back. How many situations
- 4:51Speaker 1: I have found myself in? That was I thought at
- 4:56Speaker 1: the time. Detrimental and diabolical and man so sinister at times,
- 5:02Speaker 1: But look at me, somehow I made it. I look
- 5:07Speaker 1: at all the accidents I've been in, but he kept me.
- 5:11Speaker 1: I made it. I think about even the simplest times
- 5:14Speaker 1: of like stepping off a curb and almost got hit,
- 5:17Speaker 1: but I made it. I was just tripping the other day.
- 5:20Speaker 1: I was I was thinking about the times that I've
- 5:23Speaker 1: been hit by a car and it could have been worse,
- 5:26Speaker 1: but it wasn't. And I made it through that too.
- 5:28Speaker 1: I was thinking about, man, when they count you out?
- 5:32Speaker 1: Do you know how many times I've been counted out?
- 5:35Speaker 1: He's done? He ain't gonna be nothing, He ain't nobody
- 5:40Speaker 1: see what I told y'all, look at over that they
- 5:43Speaker 1: counsel this. He offered that he out of here. He
- 5:46Speaker 1: ain't gonna make it. He didn't got fired. Man, You
- 5:48Speaker 1: know how many times I've been counting out? You know
- 5:50Speaker 1: how many times they didn't wrote me off? How many
- 5:53Speaker 1: times have you been written off? Man? But here you
- 5:55Speaker 1: still stand? You know you have a tripped on it?
- 5:58Speaker 1: Taking inventory y'all of how many times? Count the times
- 6:03Speaker 1: you've made it sound get a pin dude like I did.
- 6:06Speaker 1: I just started jotting stuff down. What about the times? Man,
- 6:10Speaker 1: when nobody was there to encourage you? But you still
- 6:14Speaker 1: here though you have a tripped on that? Ain't nobody
- 6:17Speaker 1: called you and told you good day. No nobody called
- 6:20Speaker 1: you and told you recently thank you. No one's called
- 6:22Speaker 1: you and told you how much you meant to them,
- 6:24Speaker 1: how much you've done for them? A man that you
- 6:26Speaker 1: can make it never give up. Keep your head up, man,
- 6:29Speaker 1: keep grinding. But you still here even when nobody have
- 6:32Speaker 1: you counted the times man, that you made it anyway?
- 6:38Speaker 1: You counted the times that you felt like quitting. How
- 6:40Speaker 1: about that one you felt like giving up? You kept going?
- 6:46Speaker 1: How about the time this is a good one right here?
- 6:48Speaker 1: How about the times man, when when when when everybody
- 6:51Speaker 1: was standing around saying, ain't no way, ain't no way, Steve, Man,
- 6:55Speaker 1: I can't tell you how any times I've heard it
- 6:57Speaker 1: ain't no way, and then somehow there is a way.
- 7:01Speaker 1: You know why, because he makes away. You understand? You
- 7:06Speaker 1: know how many you know how many times I've heard
- 7:08Speaker 1: this one right here? Steve, listen to me, Man, nobody
- 7:12Speaker 1: ever before has done that. You can't do that. How
- 7:19Speaker 1: many times you've heard no? You wan when you know
- 7:22Speaker 1: anybody that done that? You can't do that. No one
- 7:26Speaker 1: has ever done that. I made it anyway? You know
- 7:32Speaker 1: they don't normally or we don't normally allow this, but
- 7:39Speaker 1: in this case, for you, we're gonna make an exception.
- 7:43Speaker 1: How many times have you heard that, Oh, I think
- 7:46Speaker 1: I'm on to something. How many times have you heard
- 7:50Speaker 1: in your lifetime? We don't normally or they don't normally
- 7:55Speaker 1: allow this, but we're gonna make this exception in your case.
- 8:00Speaker 1: How many times you've ben't heard that? Have you ever
- 8:06Speaker 1: counted the times that you made it? You know everybody
- 8:12Speaker 1: out accept me? How how can that be? You know
- 8:19Speaker 1: you're the only one that got through this? Congratulations? Wow? Man,
- 8:25Speaker 1: I don't I don't hardly see this too many times.
- 8:27Speaker 1: But do you realize that normally this is what happened
- 8:30Speaker 1: to people. But man, y'all don't know how your name
- 8:33Speaker 1: came up, but here you are. Wow, it never happens
- 8:36Speaker 1: like that. You have accounted those times. I was doing
- 8:40Speaker 1: it yesterday, I was doing it this morning. I was
- 8:43Speaker 1: just taking an inventory of everybody of how many times
- 8:46Speaker 1: I've made it. So what I learned yesterday was when
- 8:51Speaker 1: God gets you through something, when he pulled you out
- 8:54Speaker 1: on the other side, no matter how difficult or how
- 8:57Speaker 1: long it took. When He gets you out on the
- 9:00Speaker 1: other side, why don't you get up, dust yourself off,
- 9:04Speaker 1: and start trotting what you laying there for man, wallowing
- 9:08Speaker 1: in it, going over it, recycling it in your mind.
- 9:13Speaker 1: So many people can't move forward because we keep recycling
- 9:18Speaker 1: stuff in our minds. When clearly, it's time to move on.
- 9:25Speaker 1: It's time to let go. It's time to go and
- 9:30Speaker 1: see what God has for you. Stop looking at what
- 9:33Speaker 1: you lost. What you lost was probably not yours to
- 9:38Speaker 1: have in the first in the first place, Do you
- 9:47Speaker 1: know the things I've lost? I'm not talking about losing
- 9:50Speaker 1: the love of one or mother or father, nothing like that.
- 9:53Speaker 1: I'm talking about innate objects or situation. Do you know
- 9:57Speaker 1: the things I've lost? Man, I look back on it.
- 9:59Speaker 1: Our wasn't supposed to have him in the first place,
- 10:02Speaker 1: or they was doing me no good. I wasn't even
- 10:04Speaker 1: what wouldn't mine to to lose, but I claimed I
- 10:06Speaker 1: lost it. Come on, man, taking inventory, everybody. Start looking
- 10:10Speaker 1: at the things man, that God has brought you through.
- 10:13Speaker 1: Start looking at how many times He allowed you to
- 10:15Speaker 1: make it. And get glad about waking up in the morner. Man,
- 10:18Speaker 1: Get glad about your life. Start feeling something positive about
- 10:22Speaker 1: your situation. You cannot expect God to continue to bless
- 10:26Speaker 1: you if you're not grateful for the things that you have.
- 10:29Speaker 1: Why would God sitting down here looking at you, upset, angry,
- 10:38Speaker 1: laying in the waller of what you are not grateful for?
- 10:43Speaker 1: You just can't find the scene to find no gratitude
- 10:45Speaker 1: in your heart about nothing, but you steady asking God
- 10:48Speaker 1: for something. So now you think God is crazy? You
- 10:51Speaker 1: think he gonna give you some most stuff to not
- 10:53Speaker 1: be grateful for. Are you kidding me? Why would he
- 10:56Speaker 1: do that? He's too full of too much mercy to
- 11:00Speaker 1: send you through that over and over and over. The
- 11:02Speaker 1: more I give my child, the more ungrateful they are,
- 11:06Speaker 1: the less gratitude they show. But I'm gonna keep dumping
- 11:09Speaker 1: it on them so they can keep feeling ungrateful and
- 11:11Speaker 1: then show like a gratitude. Guy's not gonna do that
- 11:14Speaker 1: to you. Come on, man, have you ever counted how
- 11:20Speaker 1: many times you made it? I started yesterday, ended up
- 11:25Speaker 1: this morning. When I gonna break, I got some most
- 11:27Speaker 1: stuff to throw on the list. I can't count how
- 11:30Speaker 1: many times God had got me through something. But when
- 11:33Speaker 1: he gets you through it, we didn't get up and
- 11:35Speaker 1: get on about your business. Don't lay that in it.
- 11:37Speaker 1: It's over, it's done, you made it, you survived it.
- 11:40Speaker 1: Let's go, let's go. You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show,
- 12:21Speaker 1: eighteen eighteen minutes after that, I welcome to the ride, y'all,
- 12:23Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morner show. Yeah, you gonna have somebody bust
- 12:33Speaker 1: out saying to the church in case thing. Yeah, since
- 12:39Speaker 1: the Allen Pattison god dog, and she thought she had
- 12:43Speaker 1: one of them rich gospel voices. No, this is my seedy.
- 12:54Speaker 1: Oh nothing, Lord Jenkins with a Meryl Street. Were nobody
- 13:06Speaker 1: seeing that show? But it was about a woman. You
- 13:09Speaker 1: don't stop my joke about that. But it was to
- 13:15Speaker 1: get your girl. Man, that was a joke, Steve, I'm sorry,
- 13:23Speaker 1: Oh my god, did not just say that? No, No,
- 13:30Speaker 1: it's all right, No, No, it's all right. I understand,
- 13:33Speaker 1: I understand. I know how people do when they do
- 13:36Speaker 1: something ignorant, they try to throw the blame on somebody else.
- 13:39Speaker 1: A tweet in the middle of the night sound familiar.
- 13:44Speaker 1: Just I'm in the middle of producing the joke ignorant
- 13:51Speaker 1: statement about class car is movie. Ain't nobody seen Florence
- 13:56Speaker 1: Foster Jenkins. It was about it was Meryl Street. He's
- 13:58Speaker 1: a class card. He did talking about the world's worst singer.
- 14:06Speaker 1: That's all. I Have you seen the movie, Tommy? No, No,
- 14:09Speaker 1: I haven't, Sirley, have you I mean, Carlin, have you
- 14:11Speaker 1: seen the movie? No, sir Junior Have you seen the
- 14:14Speaker 1: movie Cat Dog? Have you seen the movie Mississippi, Monica, Mississippi.
- 14:23Speaker 1: Have you seen the movie? Okay, now, so I ain't
- 14:26Speaker 1: the only one ain't seen the movie. That's no, I'm
- 14:28Speaker 1: just saying it was. That's what her movie was about.
- 14:31Speaker 1: She got nominated for Best Actress. Don't no what you see?
- 14:46Speaker 1: So you bled out anything? When that the Lord God
- 14:59Speaker 1: is watching, I wish you would, to wish you would.
- 15:12Speaker 1: That's a good as movie because stroking, stroke, stroking, stroking
- 15:18Speaker 1: is about so oh my god, that's the way we
- 15:23Speaker 1: start Wednesday. That's how you drop it off. You're really
- 15:27Speaker 1: going ahead talk going off the deep end. I ain't
- 15:33Speaker 1: on behalf of the morning. No, No, it's just you. Don't.
- 15:36Speaker 1: Don't drag them all into it. It's just you, Okay,
- 15:40Speaker 1: on behalf of me say that. I just want to
- 15:44Speaker 1: say that we have noticed. Just I not we I Well,
- 15:50Speaker 1: I'm lying now, Okay, I have noticed, and I'm pretty
- 15:56Speaker 1: sure some other people have to the decline in a
- 16:01Speaker 1: weirdness preparedness on your parts. I don't know if you're
- 16:09Speaker 1: suffering from sleep deprivation. I don't know if this is
- 16:15Speaker 1: early signs of what are you talking about specifically, Well,
- 16:20Speaker 1: you know, no early signs of what? Uh, Tommy, you're
- 16:24Speaker 1: trying to force me to say what? No, Tommy said that.
- 16:30Speaker 1: Oh no, I did not, Tommy, Tommy, what early signs
- 16:35Speaker 1: of fourth? You were about to say, early signs of dimension?
- 16:41Speaker 1: That's what you damn that is what I was gonna. Oh,
- 16:46Speaker 1: that ain't what I was gonna say. But oh, Tommy,
- 16:50Speaker 1: oh did you let that out the back? Because I
- 16:52Speaker 1: wasn't even gonna say because I don't even know what
- 16:54Speaker 1: the hell that. Oh no, I don't. I was gonna
- 16:58Speaker 1: say all times you dirty, your dirty. I was gonna
- 17:03Speaker 1: say that because I don't know how the hell I
- 17:06Speaker 1: know where it is? If you know all timmensmen, stop, well,
- 17:11Speaker 1: which one is it? Are you cleared up for? That's
- 17:20Speaker 1: Tommy said that. I could not say that. Tommy said it. Now.
- 17:24Speaker 1: See you always want to jump on me. You always
- 17:26Speaker 1: give Tommy a pack. Tommy said, dimention. No, wait a minute, now,
- 17:33Speaker 1: I'm not gonna that's what we say on this show.
- 17:36Speaker 1: Sometimes stupid is a compliment, and that was not a compliment. No, Tommy, No, Tommy,
- 17:42Speaker 1: who are you said that? And Tommy is stupid? We
- 17:45Speaker 1: all agree with that. But Tommy said it though you
- 17:48Speaker 1: had demention before. Yes, you did not say dimension before.
- 17:53Speaker 1: About a month ago you said it, he said, I demension,
- 17:59Speaker 1: Shirlette Joy, you ever heard me say that about you?
- 18:02Speaker 1: I have? You know? She gone now she made it.
- 18:08Speaker 1: She mad at me. Yeah, she laughed. The stupid ass dude.
- 18:13Speaker 1: She walked out. Oh my gosh. Uh so you don't
- 18:17Speaker 1: know how to be you don't know how to play fact.
- 18:19Speaker 1: You go too far though, Tommy, you don't want to
- 18:22Speaker 1: say that with your swong with y'all. What a stupid Tommy. Okay,
- 18:31Speaker 1: you are right, I'm fine, Tommy, you don't care. Can
- 18:35Speaker 1: you remember what happens Tommy? Tommy said, I know better,
- 18:50Speaker 1: I know whenness. No, you don't know better? Is retaliation
- 18:55Speaker 1: because you said I stepped on your joe. No no, no,
- 18:59Speaker 1: no on the us the joke go this and turned
- 19:02Speaker 1: into way more. There's nothing funny about having to meet
- 19:05Speaker 1: don't think so at all. No, there's nothing funny about
- 19:09Speaker 1: dimensions because if you gotsion, dimensions are sizes where how
- 19:16Speaker 1: big is the problem? Show? Right here? I think we
- 19:22Speaker 1: all need a break. Right here, we come back from
- 19:25Speaker 1: the break. I'm good to slap okay, when we come
- 19:34Speaker 1: back from the break at thirty four after the hour,
- 19:38Speaker 1: about the girl, she right the girl, I'm right here.
- 19:43Speaker 1: I was trying to stop because y'all stop, let her
- 19:48Speaker 1: go go ahead surely saying you really not gonna act
- 19:52Speaker 1: like it's something to say you remember how to take us.
- 20:02Speaker 1: We'll be back. You're listening, alright, thirty four minutes after
- 20:10Speaker 1: the hour. We're back when we come back. Now, these
- 20:13Speaker 1: are comedic moments, folks. So whatever it is, man, we
- 20:18Speaker 1: do any damn jokes when we come back? Yeah? Whatever?
- 20:28Speaker 1: Oh man, you know we're back all the morning as
- 20:34Speaker 1: we united front. Why wouldn't we love each other? Back
- 20:40Speaker 1: in love again, lt D. Every time I move, I
- 20:47Speaker 1: lose when I let love in, every time I turn around,
- 20:51Speaker 1: I'm back in love. I get mixed emotion. And sometimes
- 20:58Speaker 1: you feel so satisfied. But excuse me, I'm only humor.
- 21:06Speaker 1: Sometimes I love it. What are you gonna say? Go ahead?
- 21:13Speaker 1: I don't know, Tommy, I ain't say not not. I'm
- 21:18Speaker 1: your friend. You know that. I ain't said nothing. I
- 21:22Speaker 1: know it wasn't true, Tommy, Thank you? What are you
- 21:27Speaker 1: kidding me? He the only one been talking? Why do
- 21:31Speaker 1: you keep giving this ignorant boy, a past boy what
- 21:39Speaker 1: you're talking about? Though, surely because people don't know in
- 21:44Speaker 1: they should have tuned in earlier. We started the show
- 21:47Speaker 1: at six. Tell them what they tuned in. We're telling
- 21:50Speaker 1: what they missed. Tom Well, go ahead, get in trouble.
- 21:56Speaker 1: He said I had dementia. I said you had no
- 21:59Speaker 1: damn dimentions. I said you were suffering from early signs.
- 22:03Speaker 1: And I couldn't come up with the word fast enough
- 22:05Speaker 1: and Thomas said the dimentions. And I don't even know
- 22:08Speaker 1: what it is dimensions. You know what measurements? I was
- 22:15Speaker 1: gonna say. Then he said, well, how big is it?
- 22:18Speaker 1: When you said dimensions, it's about sizes. And then he
- 22:21Speaker 1: said the problem I thought it was early stages. People
- 22:25Speaker 1: would have explain it. It just never works. And then
- 22:28Speaker 1: Tommy just kept on with it. Now I didn't hear
- 22:34Speaker 1: Tommy say anything. It was just always forgive his stupid ass.
- 22:42Speaker 1: I'm maybe I forgot what you no Tommy. You said,
- 22:49Speaker 1: you asked, Shirley, do you still remember how to take
- 22:52Speaker 1: us out? And then you said it was early signs
- 22:56Speaker 1: speaking of mentions, and then you said, I'm just trying
- 23:02Speaker 1: to figure out how band the problem is all that
- 23:06Speaker 1: was Tommy. I don't recall that. I don't thus the problem.
- 23:12Speaker 1: But Steve, on the other hand, I remember everything you
- 23:15Speaker 1: said and ask God dimensions the wrong damn thing. Exactly
- 23:24Speaker 1: the point you're listening, Steve for eight minutes after that hour,
- 23:34Speaker 1: we're coming up at the top of the hour. MS
- 23:37Speaker 1: ain't gonna be here with today's national news. Never doe
- 23:41Speaker 1: a moment in the Trump administration. You go to sleep
- 23:45Speaker 1: and wake up. This is the most exciting administration. This
- 23:53Speaker 1: is the most new. This has been the real first
- 23:56Speaker 1: one hundred day. Yeah, it's not boring. This will go
- 24:00Speaker 1: down history as the most news worthy one hundred days
- 24:07Speaker 1: in the history of all presidential elections. Oh many many
- 24:16Speaker 1: are tapping. Why apping from the previous president or in
- 24:21Speaker 1: the over office. I'm an immigrant. See if I can't
- 24:33Speaker 1: get some help, because I'm gonna tell you right now,
- 24:38Speaker 1: damn sure ain't work out for them for the eight
- 24:40Speaker 1: because of the music. Maybe if I go in as
- 24:43Speaker 1: an immigrant, I can really get myself. Let me what
- 24:47Speaker 1: what do can I get anything? No, you can't get
- 24:51Speaker 1: government program or I gotta passport, do a green card?
- 24:57Speaker 1: Help or anything? Work? It's a passport hide in a
- 25:02Speaker 1: green car. I gotta look into the rights. You want
- 25:06Speaker 1: global entry with I want globally. I want to find
- 25:10Speaker 1: out the rights because I may be able to cash
- 25:12Speaker 1: in on something. All right, I got this for your
- 25:15Speaker 1: the preacher's wife. That's that run that prank back the
- 25:18Speaker 1: preacher's wife. Hello. Hello, I'm trying to reach your sister Angela.
- 25:31Speaker 1: Sister Angela, please, how you doing. My name is Brother Clayton.
- 25:36Speaker 1: I'm calling you from greatest Baptist Church. How you doing
- 25:39Speaker 1: this morning? I'm fine, I'm fine. Yeah, listen, I know
- 25:44Speaker 1: that your husband, Reverend Reverend Jonathan, is actually one of
- 25:49Speaker 1: the candidates that we may be choosing to be our
- 25:52Speaker 1: pastor since our past pastor has stepped down. Yes, yes, yes,
- 25:56Speaker 1: I'm I'm very proud of my husband. I think you
- 25:59Speaker 1: make a very good candidate. Is a matter of fact.
- 26:02Speaker 1: Here at the church, we've been asking a lot of
- 26:04Speaker 1: the deacons and and and assistant uh ministers here have
- 26:09Speaker 1: been asking different questions different things that they would be
- 26:12Speaker 1: doing once they became pasted. You know, like your first
- 26:15Speaker 1: one hundred days, what would you try and change here
- 26:17Speaker 1: at the church, or try and make better so to speak? Yet,
- 26:21Speaker 1: but what you need to speak to No, not right now.
- 26:25Speaker 1: What what we decided to do? Uh? Sins Angela is
- 26:28Speaker 1: actually called the wives and asked them a few questions. Okay,
- 26:33Speaker 1: that's a look different, and we don't we don't want
- 26:36Speaker 1: to take up too much of your time. You know
- 26:38Speaker 1: a lot of times. Uh. If a pastor is stressed
- 26:42Speaker 1: at home, nine times out of tend, he's likely to
- 26:45Speaker 1: be stressed at the church. So I guess, my, my,
- 26:50Speaker 1: My biggest question to you is is your husband stressed
- 26:54Speaker 1: at home? H No, not that I know of. Eats regularly,
- 27:01Speaker 1: he's on a good diet. You know, he goes to
- 27:04Speaker 1: the doctor regularly. It's just physical. Um, pretty good at home.
- 27:08Speaker 1: I don't have a reason to believe that he's stressed.
- 27:11Speaker 1: He certainly hasn't brought anything to my attention. Okay, No, no,
- 27:14Speaker 1: I don't, I don't. I don't, I don't, I don't.
- 27:16Speaker 1: I don't think you follow me, since Andrew, what I'm
- 27:19Speaker 1: saying is he's stressed behind closed doors? Is he stressed
- 27:25Speaker 1: in that fashion? Um? I'm not. I'm not too sure
- 27:30Speaker 1: I follow you. You say behind closed doors? What exactly
- 27:33Speaker 1: what you mean by that? Is he is he stressed
- 27:39Speaker 1: in y'all's relations. Is he stressed? Are you asking me
- 27:43Speaker 1: about my personal business presence? Well, what I'm saying is
- 27:46Speaker 1: if he's stressed at home, he'll be stressed at the church.
- 27:49Speaker 1: And if he's stressed at the church, then the members
- 27:52Speaker 1: are stressed. Then the congregation is stressed. So the stress
- 27:56Speaker 1: start with you. Excuse me, if you won't make ensure
- 28:00Speaker 1: that he's all right at home, he's gonna be all
- 28:03Speaker 1: right at the church. I'm sorry, brother, what was your name?
- 28:07Speaker 1: Brother Clayton, Brother Clayton. I appreciate you um conducting whatever
- 28:12Speaker 1: interviews you guys need to conduct with the candidates wives.
- 28:15Speaker 1: I do think that's pretty much personal territory, and I
- 28:18Speaker 1: really don't want to answer those kind of questions. It's
- 28:20Speaker 1: not personal since the angela win is so many other
- 28:24Speaker 1: people involved. See, That's why I'm asking you the question,
- 28:27Speaker 1: is your man stressed behind? I could assure you, yes,
- 28:32Speaker 1: that my husband is not stressed at home. If I
- 28:35Speaker 1: get your drift, he is not stressed behind closed doors. Brother,
- 28:39Speaker 1: and I would appreciate you if you don't call what
- 28:41Speaker 1: these kind of questions are you asking other candidates? Why
- 28:44Speaker 1: these kind of questions? Well, I was the one uh,
- 28:48Speaker 1: dedicated to call to give you a call. And that's
- 28:50Speaker 1: the question that I decided to come up with because
- 28:52Speaker 1: I want to know if a man is gonna be stressed,
- 28:54Speaker 1: because if he's gonna have tension at the church, then
- 28:57Speaker 1: then the congregation is going to have tension. The church
- 29:00Speaker 1: just gonna have atention, and the church cannot move forward
- 29:02Speaker 1: in the direction on My husband and I have been
- 29:05Speaker 1: married twenty to five years and they've been twenty five
- 29:09Speaker 1: good years. If you get my drift, Okay, he is
- 29:12Speaker 1: not stressed at home, and whatever goes on at home,
- 29:15Speaker 1: my husband has sense enough not to take it to
- 29:16Speaker 1: the church. That is not something he's gonna do. So
- 29:19Speaker 1: you don't see that about anybody else being stressed at
- 29:22Speaker 1: the congregation in the pulpit nowhere. Okay, we asked together
- 29:26Speaker 1: at home, and I appreciate if you don't ask you
- 29:28Speaker 1: those kind of questions. But sometimes, but sometimes a woman
- 29:33Speaker 1: does not realize that that a husband is stressed. You
- 29:36Speaker 1: understand that there's a possible way that you don't know
- 29:39Speaker 1: that he's stressed. So how can you get Let me
- 29:41Speaker 1: get your phone. A matter of fact, let me get
- 29:43Speaker 1: your full name. What's your first name? Let's just go
- 29:45Speaker 1: with Brother Clayton right now. Could you please answer this question?
- 29:48Speaker 1: How can you guarantee that he is fully not stressed?
- 29:53Speaker 1: Brother Clayton? How calling the Lord real quick? Hold on,
- 29:57Speaker 1: Brother Clayton. I'm an honorable w I'm a woman who
- 30:01Speaker 1: stands by my man. Okay, but you are asking me
- 30:04Speaker 1: some questions that very personal, very private, very confidential. You
- 30:10Speaker 1: are asking me questions that that that a question is
- 30:13Speaker 1: the safety of my marriage? Okay, my husband is not
- 30:17Speaker 1: stressed and if I don't send him away from my
- 30:22Speaker 1: home stressed? Okay, how do you know? But what are
- 30:27Speaker 1: you doing to make sure that this is less stressed? Clayton,
- 30:31Speaker 1: I'm about to end this phone call. Okay, now, if
- 30:33Speaker 1: you know, we're not gonna end this phone call unto
- 30:36Speaker 1: that we know we I need to know the Reverend
- 30:38Speaker 1: Jonathan is not stressed at home. They put they assigned
- 30:42Speaker 1: me to talk to you, and that's what I'm going
- 30:44Speaker 1: to do, and I'm going to leave. He is not stressed.
- 30:47Speaker 1: I don't know who told you that the man is
- 30:48Speaker 1: not stressed. If he had to stressed around you, I
- 30:52Speaker 1: bet you. I bet you he stress because you're stressing
- 30:54Speaker 1: me right now now we're both stressed out. How can
- 30:57Speaker 1: we understand that that man is not stressed? That's the
- 31:00Speaker 1: end of this conversation. Do you understand me? Give me
- 31:02Speaker 1: your full name right now, give me some intimate details,
- 31:05Speaker 1: and then I'll give you my cross the line. You
- 31:08Speaker 1: wait till my husband gets here. If this is gonna
- 31:10Speaker 1: cost him, candessy, does this so be? We'll find another chunch.
- 31:14Speaker 1: I'd have some choice words for you right now. I
- 31:18Speaker 1: will give you my name right now. Do you have
- 31:20Speaker 1: a pen? Yes, I'm gonna writeing right now. The letter
- 31:23Speaker 1: n N is in Nancy. I know how to spare
- 31:30Speaker 1: n E P h E W that nephew. Your name
- 31:36Speaker 1: is nephew Clayton. My name ain't nephew Clayton. My name
- 31:39Speaker 1: is nephew Tommy. From the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You
- 31:42Speaker 1: just got pranked by your husband, Reverend Jonathan. You said,
- 31:51Speaker 1: this is nephew Tommy. This is from the Steve Harvey
- 31:57Speaker 1: Morning it's your your husband, need to prank phone call you,
- 32:02Speaker 1: lond I'm gonna kill it. Oh didn't trust me sent
- 32:10Speaker 1: me this morning. I can't believe I let you, you know,
- 32:15Speaker 1: prank before. Oh my god, Tommy, I will tell you
- 32:20Speaker 1: if this was twenty five years ago. Brother, I cut
- 32:24Speaker 1: up a storm. I'm so glad I'm a safe woman. Well, listen, listen.
- 32:31Speaker 1: Can I ask you one more thing? What is the
- 32:33Speaker 1: baddest radio show in the last The Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 32:40Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, Steve,
- 32:47Speaker 1: Now you have the opportunity you told us to meet
- 32:49Speaker 1: this young man. He is doing big things. We love him.
- 32:53Speaker 1: Just one couple of Grammys. This story is major headlines
- 32:57Speaker 1: out of Chicago. Chance the Rapper. I don't know if
- 33:01Speaker 1: you guys heard about this, but he donated a million
- 33:04Speaker 1: dollars to Chicago public schools. Now that's getting in there
- 33:07Speaker 1: helping the situation. Chance the Rapper was that Chicago's Westcott
- 33:11Speaker 1: Elementary School to make the big announcement. Take a listen.
- 33:15Speaker 1: Our kids should not be held hostage because of political positioning.
- 33:20Speaker 1: If the governor does not act, CPS will be forced
- 33:23Speaker 1: to end school thirteen days early, which means over three
- 33:28Speaker 1: hundred and eighty thousand kids will not have adult supervised
- 33:31Speaker 1: activities in June and could possibly be put in arms way.
- 33:35Speaker 1: While I'm frustrated and disappointed and the Governor's in action.
- 33:39Speaker 1: That will not stop me from continuing to do all
- 33:41Speaker 1: I can to support Chicago's most valuable resource, it's children. Today,
- 33:47Speaker 1: I'm proud to announce that I am donating one million
- 33:51Speaker 1: dollars to CPS to CPS to support arts and enrichment programming.
- 34:00Speaker 1: Isn't that amazing? Yes? Major? That is beyond Yes it is.
- 34:06Speaker 1: And he's so young, you know that's beyond major. After
- 34:10Speaker 1: the story broke, Chance received a lot of praise for
- 34:13Speaker 1: his generous donation. Uh Michelle Obama tweeted a message to Chance,
- 34:17Speaker 1: thanking him for giving back to the Chicago community which
- 34:20Speaker 1: gave us so much. Mrs Obama added that you are
- 34:23Speaker 1: an example of the power of arts education. So true,
- 34:28Speaker 1: so true, and yeah, big ups the Chance for that. Well,
- 34:33Speaker 1: let's get it all. She's here with today's headlines and
- 34:36Speaker 1: the latest on the President. Good morning, miss Saying, good morning, Steve,
- 34:41Speaker 1: Good morning everybody out there. This is Andrew for the News.
- 34:44Speaker 1: President Trump says he's absolutely committed to the new Republican
- 34:47Speaker 1: health care legislation now the House of Representatives, the measure
- 34:50Speaker 1: designed to replace Obamacare, and Trump thinks there'll be a
- 34:53Speaker 1: positive legislative response we're gonna do something that's great, and
- 34:56Speaker 1: I'm proud to support the replacement plan released by the
- 35:00Speaker 1: of Representatives and encouraged by members of both parties. I
- 35:04Speaker 1: think really that we're going to have something that's going
- 35:07Speaker 1: to be much more understood and much more popular than
- 35:11Speaker 1: people can even imagine. Well, some conservative lawmakers say they're
- 35:15Speaker 1: opposed to the bill because they keeps some elements of
- 35:17Speaker 1: the Affordable Care Act intact, so they're calling it Obamacare
- 35:21Speaker 1: two point oh and they're promising to fight against it
- 35:24Speaker 1: because they say, well, we campaigned on getting rid of Obamacare,
- 35:26Speaker 1: and this is very much like Obamacare, so they don't
- 35:29Speaker 1: like it. And Democrats are against it because they say
- 35:32Speaker 1: that it cuts money from lower income people, it keeps
- 35:34Speaker 1: them from getting health insurance, and it puts a lot
- 35:36Speaker 1: of power back with the insurance companies, which they say
- 35:39Speaker 1: is very negative consideration of the new healthcare measure. By
- 35:41Speaker 1: the way, scheduled have been later to begin later on today.
- 35:44Speaker 1: Wiki leaks has published a huge array of what they
- 35:46Speaker 1: say our secret government documents, all allegedly from the Central
- 35:49Speaker 1: Intelligence Agencies cyber espionage Unit, and Wiki leaks says it's
- 35:54Speaker 1: exposing the CIA's entire tool kit for digital spying. Wikily
- 35:59Speaker 1: says it's redacted thousands of the spy agency's actual targets. However,
- 36:02Speaker 1: WikiLeaks accuses the CIA of creating its own electronic surveillance
- 36:06Speaker 1: agency without any accountability. WikiLeaks says a disgruntled former CIA
- 36:10Speaker 1: contractor was its source. In blocks the Mississippi SA, at
- 36:15Speaker 1: least four people killed, thirty five others injured. Yesterday, when
- 36:18Speaker 1: a train stuck struck a tour bus. Authority say the
- 36:20Speaker 1: bus may have been stopped on the tracks when the
- 36:22Speaker 1: train barrel through, pushing it some three feet down the
- 36:25Speaker 1: tracks off. You will say the number of people on
- 36:27Speaker 1: the bus of Peter been senior citizens, A lot of them.
- 36:30Speaker 1: Sad news. Turner Classic Movies host Robert Osborne has died.
- 36:33Speaker 1: Osborne was eighty four. He was at Ted Turner's Classic
- 36:36Speaker 1: Movie Network since the beginning, back in introducing the movies
- 36:40Speaker 1: and laying the audience in on all those backstoryborn Thanks
- 36:43Speaker 1: for joining us. This is the third Man. Now. Something
- 36:47Speaker 1: you may not know about the Third Man is there
- 36:49Speaker 1: were actually two versions of this film a British. This
- 36:52Speaker 1: is the kind of stuff. He would always say, let
- 36:54Speaker 1: us in all the little dirty backspores. We will miss
- 36:57Speaker 1: Robert Osborne. And today is National Nasty Day, National find
- 37:02Speaker 1: Out what your Name Really means Day, and it's National
- 37:05Speaker 1: Women's Day internal also a day without Women's Day. A
- 37:14Speaker 1: lot of women have taken off today, that's right, or
- 37:17Speaker 1: they're all supposed to take off from house where too.
- 37:19Speaker 1: So guys, when you get home, you may have to
- 37:21Speaker 1: do your own dishes and cook your own meals. Now
- 37:23Speaker 1: back to the Steve Harvey Boarding Show. All right, thank
- 37:26Speaker 1: you for saying what you got. All right, we've all
- 37:31Speaker 1: heard the phrase different strokes for different folks. We've all
- 37:34Speaker 1: heard that growing up and yeah still to this day.
- 37:38Speaker 1: Well pretty pretty much. Uh means we all have different
- 37:42Speaker 1: opinions about things, especially about things that either turn us
- 37:46Speaker 1: on or turn us off. Now here's a question. What
- 37:50Speaker 1: do you find attractive that others might not find attractive?
- 37:54Speaker 1: Do you like a person with a raspy voice, let's say,
- 37:57Speaker 1: or do you like someone that wears rocks her hair? True? Short?
- 38:00Speaker 1: Can you say raspy? Boy? You mean like Monica? That's
- 38:07Speaker 1: a little different. No, not like Monica, but just kind
- 38:09Speaker 1: of a deep she has a way, you know, like
- 38:11Speaker 1: if you catch Monica it is kind of section. But
- 38:14Speaker 1: you have to catch her just right, like when you
- 38:17Speaker 1: call it and she's sleepy. Hello. Yeah, it's kind of
- 38:22Speaker 1: nice little thing, but she if we wid awake though,
- 38:25Speaker 1: she got some volume behind it. That's when it changes
- 38:28Speaker 1: a little bit. Hello, it goes some Hello, what's going on? Hey? Miss?
- 38:36Speaker 1: It just starts to change. So that's partly one of
- 38:38Speaker 1: the question. Here's part two. Would you be on a
- 38:43Speaker 1: naked reality show if they called you, like dating Naked
- 38:47Speaker 1: or Naked and Afraid one of those kinds of shows. Uh?
- 38:50Speaker 1: The only one in here that could possibly say yes
- 38:53Speaker 1: is you know who? So just ask him. Well, we
- 38:56Speaker 1: already know his answer. Nephew. I'll dude, I date naked.
- 39:01Speaker 1: I ain't gonna do naked and afraid though I'm not
- 39:03Speaker 1: out there in the jungle with no but I date naked. Yeah,
- 39:09Speaker 1: I think I don't think you should be on camera
- 39:12Speaker 1: naked either. Show. Ain't nothing wrong with my naked It's
- 39:17Speaker 1: come on, man, you got to be joking now, yo,
- 39:20Speaker 1: naked you remember I found you naked? I had to
- 39:23Speaker 1: come get you using the be in a pool or baby.
- 39:26Speaker 1: You remember that? I remember that? Yeah? You remember that
- 39:31Speaker 1: time when a big slab stints had went out in
- 39:38Speaker 1: her chest, and then you reached over on the headboard
- 39:43Speaker 1: and on the nice stand and got your cell phone
- 39:45Speaker 1: and called me. Remember when I had to come in
- 39:48Speaker 1: or roll big slab off. She was on top of
- 39:52Speaker 1: her and she fell asleep on top of and then
- 40:00Speaker 1: I had to rope coming in and roll off, and
- 40:02Speaker 1: both of y'all was naked. I've had some interesting moments,
- 40:07Speaker 1: but twenty minutes though, get off, you get some juls. Hey,
- 40:18Speaker 1: I'm sorry, but she hasn't he likes he's married. Now
- 40:29Speaker 1: do you know one thing for show? With your answer?
- 40:32Speaker 1: The same way is your show? That's what you say,
- 40:35Speaker 1: I don't want to see? All right, So that's our
- 40:42Speaker 1: question for today. It's a two part understand the question
- 40:45Speaker 1: what do you find attractive that others might not find attractive?
- 40:48Speaker 1: Someone with a raspy voice, ultra short hair, small boobs.
- 40:52Speaker 1: Part two, I like short hair, short hair sets. Okay,
- 40:55Speaker 1: well that's the answer to the question. Then part two
- 40:57Speaker 1: you answer that as well. Would you be naked on
- 40:59Speaker 1: a reality show if they called you come on? I
- 41:03Speaker 1: don't like that part of the question right there. I
- 41:07Speaker 1: like the what is it about? I like the one
- 41:09Speaker 1: part you like the other part. Yeah, you know what
- 41:13Speaker 1: we should do family for you naked? Have a look?
- 41:16Speaker 1: What do you think and you hosted naked? Well, well
- 41:24Speaker 1: you're gonna pay in your name. See you don't one
- 41:33Speaker 1: got options? What do you mean, Sie like Tommy can
- 41:38Speaker 1: pen his name tag on either his chest or his ass.
- 41:44Speaker 1: Let's go, let's go. We are any time to go
- 41:47Speaker 1: to the break head high you could actually see it
- 41:54Speaker 1: from the front. Surely ain't got nowhere. Surely you could
- 41:58Speaker 1: just you and call it. Could just y'all don't even
- 42:00Speaker 1: have to pin y'all name tag on. Y'all could just
- 42:04Speaker 1: put it, put yours in a picture frame and just
- 42:06Speaker 1: prop it up. Okay, we're not playing a family you naked,
- 42:09Speaker 1: that's a But tell me you didn't answer the first
- 42:11Speaker 1: part of the question. What do you find attracted and others?
- 42:16Speaker 1: Wide back? Oh yeah, oh yeah, what about you? But hey,
- 42:21Speaker 1: we'll hold on, hold on where your wife ain't got
- 42:23Speaker 1: a wide back? So you gave up the wide back.
- 42:30Speaker 1: I gave up wide back. She got that. I like that?
- 42:34Speaker 1: You know where six team J said? Anybody like I
- 42:41Speaker 1: don't want lighting a right coming up? Next thing right
- 42:46Speaker 1: down coming up after the our Butterfly is in the
- 42:52Speaker 1: building with a better fly blog. I like a woman
- 42:54Speaker 1: with a really cute You're some ugly tun up. We
- 43:00Speaker 1: gotta go to break. You're listening to the stew alright
- 43:06Speaker 1: coming up next? You know who is here with the blog,
- 43:09Speaker 1: the butterfly blog. And uh today he's talking about who
- 43:13Speaker 1: knows what and no one cares, so he's next care

- 43:37Speaker 1: what it's about. Capre pants and getting ready for the
- 43:40Speaker 1: summer and getting your capre pants. And I'm I'm designing
- 43:43Speaker 1: my own fashion where the capre vance will stop right

- 44:28Speaker 1: where you won't have sleeves, you know what I mean,
- 44:31Speaker 1: so you can just wear your arms out. So if
- 44:33Speaker 1: you got your arms and you're doing all you push
- 44:34Speaker 1: up some stuff like that, and you're ready for the summer.

- 1:02:15Speaker 1: He had gotten what he wanted and there was no
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: reason for him to still be there. Uh to be here?
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: He looked confused and didn't know where the attitude came from,
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: but he got up and got his stuff, and before
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: he left, he said, I'll talk to you later, and
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: I said, I don't think I'll be communicating with you anymore.
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: I feel bad now, was I wrong? I mean, I
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: don't know where you where You're wrong? I mean, what
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: do you want out of this? You know? Do you
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: want a relationship where someone cares about you and loves you,
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: or do you just want to be some man's boo,
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: you know, with benefits, his friend with benefits. So maybe
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: you know, since you feel bad now now that he's gone,
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: maybe you'll take the time to consider him. Um, you know,
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: he said he wanted to get to know you better,
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: and uh, you know, it sounds like he wants something
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: with you to me. Maybe you'll realize now that it
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: is you and your attitude and your fears and your
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: insecurities that are holding you back from possibly having a
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: good relationship with the man. Stop tripping, you know, Steve, Well,
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: I mean, I don't know, Shirley. I think this is
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: a classic case of not getting the clear understanding of
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: what everybody's in it for. See, you can't create new
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: terms and then become unhappy with the terms. Are you
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: twenty for your old female? That's well established for your age,
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: and I'll admit you really are. You got your own house,
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: a car, and you're a nurse. Okay, sister, you're doing really,
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: really well, extremely well. You met a guy a couple
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: of months ago. You're interested in it. We would hang
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: out from time to time and I really enjoyed his company.
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: But it seemed like the only thing that will become
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: of this is friends with benefits. Okay, see hold on,
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: see you hung out from time to time. You really
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: enjoy this company. But it seemed like the only thing
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: that would come out of this would be friends with benefits.
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: So what that means is that hanging out was more
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: than really hanging out. Y'all were sleeping together. Okay, now
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: you've discovered that it looks like all this is gonna
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: be is some friends with benefits. Well, you're using the
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: term benefits because you're obviously taking the term out the book.
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: And I explain to women the reason you hang on
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: to your cookie because it's a great benefit. Now you
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: got a friend of yours you called a friend, which
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: everybody's definition of friendship is different, and now you're saying
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: that they have benefits with it. And then one after day,
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: one day after blue, he said his birthday was coming
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: up and what am I gonna get him? Uh? And
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: then I quickly mentioned the friends with benefits and he said, no,
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: it's not like that. I won't or I want to
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: get to know you as a person. The whole time
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: I'm thinking this, he's just saying it. Continue to continue
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: to get the goods. So in essence, lady, let's just
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: tell the truth. You were passing out the goods to
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: a person who didn't know you, and you didn't know him.
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: That's really what this is about. Man. I hate to
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: keep doing this and hammering this message home, but my goodness,
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: I want more. I want to get to know you
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: as a person. You're sleeping with a dude you don't
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: know because you passed out the benefits before he proved
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: himself worthy of the benefit package. I have no other
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: way to explain this to you except you have done
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: this to yourself without having any standards as to what
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: a friend is to you or him, and any standards
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: for when you pass out your cookie. So you just
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: passing it out like it's a bowl of skittles on
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: the coffee table. Everybody, come here and get a handful.
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: All right after the break at eighteen after the Hour,
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: Part two of Steve's response to Today's Strawberry letter. I
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: can you. I can love you. I can I can
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: love you bad wondering why you don't love me the
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: way that I love you, and baby I loved because
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: I won't never you know, my little boy, I can
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: I can't love you that she can I can't I
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: can love I can't love you back, and she sometime
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: can your own but will make it, will make it
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: through the storm, and none of I will find to
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: make sure that you don't get for me. And you're
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: all the reason while the say I can love you,
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: I can love you, shame, I don't make you. I'm
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: don't baby when you can't make some mass ship. Yeah,
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: I can't love you bad. I can love you, and
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: she if I told you you once, I told you
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: twice to be throw the booty like a groupie for
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: most eyes on the truck ice, get your bonus like
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: the bouche and love with you since the days that
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: you say, now what watch you played Columbo for Cosso
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: checks us out Colossus, turn your castle to Bronson? Who
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: do you loving? Who you wanna be? Hudding tipping on
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: your Ninja Hanso with Tunish and brother? Why you go?
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: If I need to Jane funding because you fitness every
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: blood to my witness under pressure, I lie for you,
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: lie for your bugle by the lie for your bite,
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: had hive for you because of you. I'm intempted, Trillian.
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: Let me get Billy on simly TETs Billy. But you
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: get in the shivering and come back to dopy like
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: that's everyday good. You're listening to Steve Hartley Morning Show.
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: All right, I got pottoo to strap left, come where
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: all this stuff? People need help out there? Good and stupid. Yeah,
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: that's it's better, right, Hey, Steve, Fam twenty for your
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: females established from age, got o own house called Rigidly. Anyway.
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: I met just got a couple of months ago. I
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: was interested, and we were hanging out from time to time.
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: I really enjoyed the company, but it seemed like the
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: only thing that would become of this as friends with benefits.
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: One day, out of the blue, he said his birthday
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: is coming up, and what am I gonna get him.
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: I quickly mentioned the friend with benefits and he said, no,
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: it's not like that. I want more. I want to
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: get to know you as a person. The whole time,
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: I'm thinking he's just saying it's continue to get the goods.
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: So the next time he came over, he ended up
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: trying to get the goods. After it was over, I
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: got upset and left the room. Came back and told
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: him moves time for him to go, and he had
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: had gotten what he wanted. There was no reason for
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: him to still be here. He looked confused and didn't
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: know where the attitude came from. But he got him
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: got of stuff, and before he left, he said, I
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: talked to you later. I said, I don't think I'd
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: be communicating with you anymore. I feel bad now I
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: was I wrong? Sure, He's absolutely correct and saying where
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: you're wrong. I don't know what do you want? Okay,
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: let's say you ain't read the Let's say the friends
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: with benefits is a common term. I must admit I've
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: heard that many times before, friends would benefit. But you
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: didn't discuss any of this. You know now? You know?
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: Then at the end of the letter, you know? I
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: feel bad? Now? Was I wrong? You feel bad now? No? No, no, no, no,
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: cee cee seen. Let me back up a little bit, little,
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: a little twenty for you. Let me help you understand something.
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: You felt bad when you was writing this letter. You
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: felt bad for what caused you to wrote to write
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: the letter. You felt you felt bad after he asked
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: you what he was getting for his birthday. Uh, then
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: you got mad because you had to remind him, hey,
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: we're just friends with benefits. Then You got mad because
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: he said, no, I want more than that. You got
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: mad because you're thinking the whole time he's talking that
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: he's saying all it is just to continue to get
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: the goods. Then you got mad because the next time
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: he came over he was trying to get the goods.
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: Then you really got mad because after it was over,
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: which means he got the goods. Now, who are you
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: mad at? You mad at him because he because you
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: gave it to him. It's all y'all do. See, that's
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: all y'all do. Y'all ain't been talking, getting to know
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: each other, learning each other, y'all been getting together, passing
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: out benefits. Now you're mad. Now you don't came back
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: in the room with you're crazy self, because this crazy
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: you sleep with the man you give in. You got
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: upset and left the room, came back, told him it's
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: time for him to go, that he had gotten what
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: he wanted and that was no reason for him to
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: still be there. Did you not give what you wanted? See,
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: women amazed me with that statement. You got what you wanted?
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: But who did you not give what you want? So
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: you keep dumping this on the dude. It takes two
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: to do that thing. So now you got what you wanted.
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: You could leave now, did not you get what you want?
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: Take it? Get out? Now you get out? He looked confused.
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: Your damn right, he confused. Every man on earth would
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: be confused. Well, you mean get out. We were just
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: doing what we always do. When I come over here,
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: I I'll talk to you later. Now I don't think
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: I'll be communicating with you anymore. Yeah, he's confused. Guess
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: what you confused? You confused, ma'am. You have to get
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: yourself some standards, so you have none. Now you want
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: a guy to respect what you have no standards, But
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: you want the respect of a woman with standards. A
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: man will only give you the respect that you command.
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: All right, Today's Strawberry letters posted on Steve Harvey dot com.
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: You can tweeter, instagram me your thoughts at my girl.
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: Surely they're coming up after the break at thirty four
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: after the hour, ms And will be here with this
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: hour's headlines. And we want our girl Fantasia to get
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: well soon. About that, I'll tell you about that. You're
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: listening to Steve Harvey, alright, y'all. Ms And is up
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: next with this hour's National News. Okay, Fantasia our girl.
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: You know, we love us some Fantasia. Well, anyway, she
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: was recently forced to cancel her Memphis, Tennessee concert on
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: Sunday last Sunday. This was after she suffered second degree
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: burns on her arm earlier in the day. What happened
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: was Fantasia was sleeping on her tour bus. She accidentally
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: knocked over an aroma therapy vaporizer that um, you know,
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: she and a lot of singers used to, you know,
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: to keep their vocals vocal cords moist and ready and
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: all that, and the hot water spilled on her arms,
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: so she has those burned. She had to cancel the show. Yeah,
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: it's pretty bad, right, but her rep told People magazine
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: in a statement that at this moment, our plan is
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: to resume the tour in Los Angeles. Um, and she
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: thanked all of the fans for their kind messages of
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: love and support and is looking forward to getting back
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: out on the road. So that's good. Yeah, yeah, yes,
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: she yes, that's hot. I can't stand. I'd rather take
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: a cut then burn. Oh yeah, you can give me
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: the cut now and burns, man, I don't you know. No,
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: that's hard, man. I didn't knocked over some stuff before.
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: I feel what you shown. Shut up, all right, pull
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: it together and introduce ms and please lazy gentnament here, cheese, here,
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: the talented miss and trip. Thank you, thank you, everybody.
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: Good morning, everybody. This is entered with the news. Okay.
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: President Trump says he's proud to support the House Republican
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: proposal to replace the Affordable Care Act. However, the plan
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: may be already dead on arrival. That's because it already
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: faces stiff opposition from not only Democrats, right wing Republicans
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: feel the measure keeps certain parts of Obamacare, even though
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: the GOP campaigned on gutting the whole thing. In fact,
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: they're calling it Bamacare Light or Obamacare two point oh,
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: so then they're they're dead against it. According to The
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: Wall Street Journal, ex President Obama is living over President
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: Trump's accusation that he tapped his phones last year. Mr
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: Obama reportedly feels that the accusation disrespects both him and
- 1:16:15Speaker 1: the office of the presidency. Hey guess what, Guess who
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: had a change of mind. Looks like Dr Ben Carson's
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: had a change your mind. In the wake of the
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: outrage led him claiming that slavery in America was some
- 1:16:30Speaker 1: form of immigration. People like Whoopi Goldberg yesterday on The
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: View wondered how the man didn't know that blacks were
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: kidnapped a history book. I mean, were the slaves really
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: thinking about the American dreams? Because they were thinking, what
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: the hell just happened. Carson has since posted a statement
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: on Facebook staying, in part, immigrants made the choice to
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: come to America. In contrast, slaves were forced here against
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: their will and lost all their opportunity. Maybe he googled this.
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: The two experiences should never now say, he now says,
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: be intertwined or forgotten. Back in by the way, you know,
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: Dr Carson used his interpretation of slavery to make another claim.
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: Carson said that Obamacare was the worst thing that had
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: happened to this nation since slavery. He said that remember that,
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: remember that, and we were like, uh then, even back then,
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: we were okay, hey. Wiki leaks has published a huge
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: array of secret government documents, all allegedly from the Central
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: Intelligence Agencies cyper espionage unit. Wiki leaks says it's exposing
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: the CIA's entire tool kid for digital spying WikiLeaks says
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: it's redacted thousands of the spy agencies actual targets. However,
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: WikiLeaks accuses the CIA of creating its own electronic surveillance
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: agency without any accountability. Grammy Award winning Unsigned Chance the
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: Rappers supporting our Kids donating a million dollars to Chicago
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: Public going to be getting together ill soon to discuss
- 1:17:54Speaker 1: for the funding. Also with common and Today National find
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: Out what your name means today and Internet as Women's Day. Yeah,
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: it's is also a day without a woman at work
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: even in house as housework and certain don't do houseworth,
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: don't do anything, ladies, just right, that's right, clean his house. Nine.
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: That's lost your mind right there, that's stay there. Yeah,
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: I gotta go to by now Boarding show. I'm gonna
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: wash my back when I get out of y'all. Miss
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: thank you, missing very much. We appreciated and now we're
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: going to the phones. Will be back eight seven seven.
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Show, all right for that.
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: Minutes after that are coming up next. What do you
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: find attractive in people that others might not really notice
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: or find attractive? You know? M m okay. I like
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: a woman that's got like one crooked tooth in the
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: back of home. Mom, what you know we're kissing me,
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: So when we're kissing, my tongue run crossing like that,
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: Like I like that didn't give me something to do
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: eight seven seven You know you know you know that
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: way when you're kissing, you know, you give you something
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: to do. That to regular old kissing. Let's see if
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: I'm going back there and reach it to so call
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: us with yours. All right, we're going to the phones.
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: Here we go the question what do you find attractive
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: that others might not find attractive? What do you like
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: that maybe others won't find as attractive as you? Okay, Uh,
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: it could be anything you heard big noses, beards, Uh,
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: that just don't Oh yeah, that's right. I can't say that. Okay.
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: What do you find attractive that others might not find attractive?
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: What do you like saying? Yeah, you can't act right?
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: You see an anchor turns you on? That that it
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: doesn't turn everyone on? And and the second part to
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: that question, would you be on a naked reality show
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: if they called you? Give us a call at eight
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: seven seven twenty nine, Steve, we are going to the phone.
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: Let's go to line three. Talk to T out of Nevada. Yes, yes,
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: what's going on doing here? Ain't T. What do you
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: like that's attractive out people that other people may not
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: fund track? I like that that nerdy girl one that
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: nobody really pays at taking two. But when you come
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: up out of that that take the glances off and
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: let their hair down, then she's a totally different woman.
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: Like that competition. So I go for that nerdy girl.
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: That nerdy girl. Wow. Not because they they gotta go
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: to work. You gotta do what they do. But those
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: are the goods of the guys. Don't pay attention to
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: I'll get eliminate your competite. What about the naked reality
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: show T if they called you that, but they might
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: need a whole lot. I wouldn't have a problem with that, But,
