- 0:00Speaker 1: Musk meltdown. They're calling it. Tesla is now down fifty
- 0:04Speaker 1: five percent for the year. Yeah, CNN Don Lemon decided
- 0:10Speaker 1: it was a good idea after his own show had
- 0:14Speaker 1: been canceled to mock Elon Musk for sharing a sexualized photo.
- 0:20Speaker 1: He says of Jesus and Twitter to Lerp, to lure
- 0:26Speaker 1: is the correct way to say the word. But apparently
- 0:27Speaker 1: he screwed up the first time. Don't worry, they fixed
- 0:29Speaker 1: online to lure, he said, Lerp Trump. Yes, he actually
- 0:35Speaker 1: said it. We're trying to get the original audio, but
- 0:37Speaker 1: that apparently has been fixed in the online version. They're
- 0:42Speaker 1: mocking him because they think that Elon Musk is an idiot.
- 0:46Speaker 1: Why because he actually allowed for free speech on a platform.
- 0:50Speaker 1: And this is what the media is going to continue
- 0:52Speaker 1: to do. They're going to mock anybody that gets in
- 0:56Speaker 1: their way. This is what happened Elon Musk restoring President's
- 1:00Speaker 1: Twitter account. He has been banned from the platform since
- 1:03Speaker 1: the capital attack. Trump has previously said that he does
- 1:07Speaker 1: not plan to return to Twitter and instead will continue
- 1:09Speaker 1: to use his truth social platform. So let's discuss seeing
- 1:14Speaker 1: an anchor and correspondent arty. This is he's being intentionally provocative.
- 1:19Speaker 1: I mean that's obvious, right, because he needs eyes, he
- 1:22Speaker 1: needs attention. I mean Elon Musk to Twitter, and part
- 1:26Speaker 1: of this whole thing about restoring the former president doing
- 1:29Speaker 1: a poll about it is to sort of a look
- 1:31Speaker 1: at me, look at me, look at me. I'm glad
- 1:33Speaker 1: you're saying this, because there's a business reason for that.
- 1:36Speaker 1: The context here is Elon Musk doesn't really believe in advertising.
- 1:39Speaker 1: Tesla never really did advertising because he thinks good products
- 1:43Speaker 1: would just sell on their own. Problem is you just
- 1:45Speaker 1: bought a company that runs on ninety percent advertising and
- 1:49Speaker 1: doesn't sell anything, and so brand safety and how advertisers
- 1:54Speaker 1: feel about what is on the site along with their
- 1:57Speaker 1: ads is meaningful. And lots of the said they were
- 2:00Speaker 1: going to hit pause when he first bought it and
- 2:02Speaker 1: when he first started talking about travel. And I can't
- 2:04Speaker 1: believe advertisers are fleeting given what he's tweeted in the
- 2:07Speaker 1: last twenty four hours. There's provocative images talking about Trump
- 2:10Speaker 1: basically wanting to get back on Twitter, like being able
- 2:12Speaker 1: to resist the temptation. But what I was confused about
- 2:15Speaker 1: Saturday night is that when this all happened, Elon Musk said,
- 2:19Speaker 1: he was going to form a content Moderation council, no
- 2:22Speaker 1: major reinstatements of Twitter accounts would happen before then. Then
- 2:26Speaker 1: he conducts a Twitter poll on Saturday, says Trump should
- 2:29Speaker 1: be reinstated. Who knows who participated in this poll, and
- 2:32Speaker 1: now he says Trump's account is active again. Yeah. I mean,
- 2:34Speaker 1: I think no one's going to be teaching any of
- 2:36Speaker 1: this technique in any like business school case studies going
- 2:39Speaker 1: forward like this has been very messy public and you know,
- 2:44Speaker 1: one piece of context that I think is worth mentioning
- 2:46Speaker 1: is people were treating Twitter like public infrastructure. It was
- 2:50Speaker 1: a space where lots of people came to speak and
- 2:53Speaker 1: play and interact, but it's not public infrastructure. And this
- 2:56Speaker 1: is what happens when a private person, a billionaire, takes
- 3:00Speaker 1: over and kind of dithers around with it. That's kind
- 3:03Speaker 1: of by the way, I was on Twitter this weekend
- 3:06Speaker 1: and you pointed that out, Kaitlin, to everyone, reupping what
- 3:09Speaker 1: Elon Musk had tweeted about this council, and they sort
- 3:12Speaker 1: of guarantees that he did, I think as he was
- 3:14Speaker 1: looking to acquire the company and sort of checks that
- 3:17Speaker 1: people thought might be in place, but but to your
- 3:20Speaker 1: point about a billionaire taking over and taking it private,
- 3:23Speaker 1: so there are none of these a mayor like you know,
- 3:26Speaker 1: I mean, I think we've gotten used to CEOs in
- 3:29Speaker 1: Silicon Valley, maybe kind of nodding towards like appeasing the
- 3:33Speaker 1: public when they think the eye is on them and
- 3:37Speaker 1: that's not his game. He doesn't care. There's no board,
- 3:39Speaker 1: there's no board to check him. No, there's no share
- 3:43Speaker 1: price to check him. There's a there's a desperation aspect
- 3:46Speaker 1: of it. Seems really desperate or as we say in
- 3:50Speaker 1: the vernacular, now thirsty, because as Kaitlin mentioned, this provocative
- 3:55Speaker 1: image that he tweeted about, I think it was a
- 3:57Speaker 1: Jesus and you know there's someone tempting Jesus a man
- 4:00Speaker 1: and you know that I can hear you guys talking around.
- 4:02Speaker 1: This is a sexualized image, right that he's posting. And
- 4:05Speaker 1: I think it's a really good example of the thirst
- 4:07Speaker 1: thing you're talking about, which is, look at me, look
- 4:10Speaker 1: at me, eyes on this, advertisers, look, eyes are still
- 4:13Speaker 1: on this. Stay with it by any means necessary. You're
- 4:17Speaker 1: noticed by the way what they're doing here and seen it.
- 4:20Speaker 1: The same people that did these stories over and over
- 4:25Speaker 1: and over and over again about Donald Trump lying about
- 4:27Speaker 1: Donald Trump, Russian collusion, Russia collusion, Russian coclusion for four
- 4:31Speaker 1: or five six years. The same people that have run,
- 4:34Speaker 1: you know, the live raids of Roger Stone, right, they
- 4:37Speaker 1: got tipped off that Roger Stone was going to be
- 4:40Speaker 1: rated by the FBI, these types of thing, the same
- 4:43Speaker 1: the same early morning raids of his former campaign manager,
- 4:48Speaker 1: all of these different types of things. Okay, to be clear,
- 4:54Speaker 1: is exactly I've seen and had their good ratings back
- 4:56Speaker 1: in the day. Then they became psychopaths hating Donald Trump.
- 5:00Speaker 1: They're still obsessed with Donald Trump, as you can hear
- 5:03Speaker 1: in this conversation. But what's even more interesting than this
- 5:07Speaker 1: is the fact that they just said, you know these
- 5:11Speaker 1: you know, Elon Musk is desperate for attention. They just
- 5:14Speaker 1: gave him four minutes of attention because they know that
- 5:17Speaker 1: it would be probably pretty good for their ratings. Like
- 5:21Speaker 1: they're not stupid. They know that this is going to
- 5:24Speaker 1: rate for them, or they hope that it rates for them,
- 5:26Speaker 1: because their ratings are literally in the toilet. Don Lemon
- 5:29Speaker 1: got demoted, he had his own TV show at night.
- 5:33Speaker 1: He has been demoted. He's now in a morning show
- 5:37Speaker 1: that desperate Lee needs help. Their ratings terrible in the morning,
- 5:44Speaker 1: going nowhere, And now I'm going to say whether they're
- 5:47Speaker 1: mocking Elon Musk is a businessman. Well, I don't think
- 5:50Speaker 1: any case study, right is going to be used in
- 5:53Speaker 1: a business school over what he just did. That's where
- 5:57Speaker 1: you're going with this like that, that's that's literally where
- 6:02Speaker 1: you're going with this. Really, I love how Don Lemon,
- 6:07Speaker 1: who you know, ridicules must for posting a meme of
- 6:12Speaker 1: you know, some christlike figure on Twitter right being you know,
- 6:17Speaker 1: fleeing evil and him having it as Twitter like it's
- 6:20Speaker 1: Donald Trump, right, it's humor. A lot of people thought
- 6:23Speaker 1: it was funny. They're like, let's not let's be quick.
- 6:27Speaker 1: This is a sexualized image. This is a sexualized image
- 6:33Speaker 1: of X, Y and Z. Trust me, if you saw
- 6:35Speaker 1: the picture, it's not sexualized. It's called humor. If you
- 6:39Speaker 1: think this is a sexualized image, you like, I mean,
- 6:41Speaker 1: go look at it, there's no it's a joke, y'all.
- 6:44Speaker 1: It's humor. That's what it is. It is humor. There
- 6:50Speaker 1: was something I didn't get to play for you last
- 6:52Speaker 1: week because we had so much breaking news and it
- 6:55Speaker 1: was about the elections, and it was about how long
- 6:58Speaker 1: it's taking account based votes in this country, which is
- 7:02Speaker 1: totally insane. Yes, it's insane that it takes days and
- 7:06Speaker 1: weeks and sometimes even months to count a vote. That's stupid.
- 7:13Speaker 1: Tiger Carlson had an interesting commentary in his show before
- 7:16Speaker 1: he went on vacation about this, and I didn't have
- 7:18Speaker 1: time to play it for you last week because we, again,
- 7:20Speaker 1: we had so much breaking news. But I want to
- 7:22Speaker 1: play it for you because I still think it's extremely relevant.
- 7:26Speaker 1: What Tucker was saying is that this is third world country.
- 7:31Speaker 1: He was talking about we still have no idea who
- 7:32Speaker 1: won in Arizona. How is that even possible? Right? How
- 7:36Speaker 1: is it possible that it was taking this long and
- 7:38Speaker 1: this was obviously last week to count votes. Are we
- 7:42Speaker 1: a third world country? Take a listen. State of Arizona
- 7:46Speaker 1: lives in Maricopa County. The cities of Mesa, Tempe, Scottsdale,
- 7:50Speaker 1: and largest of all, Phoenix are all within the county's borders.
- 7:54Speaker 1: If you want to win statewide in Arizona, you have
- 7:57Speaker 1: to win Maricopa County. Unfortunately, tonight, we still don't know
- 8:01Speaker 1: who has won Maricopa County, either in the US Senate
- 8:04Speaker 1: race there or in the governor's race in Arizona. Because
- 8:06Speaker 1: officials are not even close to finishing the count forty
- 8:11Speaker 1: eight hours after the voting stop, there are still six
- 8:13Speaker 1: hundred and thirty three thousand ballots still uncounted in Arizona.
- 8:17Speaker 1: More than four hundred thousand of those are in Maricopa Counting.
- 8:20Speaker 1: You're seeing it on your screen right now. When will
- 8:23Speaker 1: we know the results? Last night, election officials claim they'd
- 8:27Speaker 1: have a new tally for us by eight pm Eastern
- 8:29Speaker 1: the beginning of our show, but the deadline came and went.
- 8:32Speaker 1: By the end of the night they had finished counting
- 8:34Speaker 1: fewer than seventy thousand more votes. Then they said they'd
- 8:37Speaker 1: have final totals by Friday tomorrow, but no Today, the
- 8:41Speaker 1: county officials said they don't expect to announce the results
- 8:44Speaker 1: of the elections until next week at the earliest. When
- 8:48Speaker 1: do you anticipate the votes will be counted in total?
- 8:52Speaker 1: Those four hundred thousand plus votes, Well, we will be
- 8:56Speaker 1: going into next week. There's some Onesie two zis again
- 9:00Speaker 1: pursue it to Arizona law. But I think that we'll
- 9:02Speaker 1: see the Lion's share here, wrap up by early next week,
- 9:07Speaker 1: early next week. Can you give me a day We're
- 9:09Speaker 1: talking Monday. Maybe, as long as you won't hold it
- 9:13Speaker 1: to hold me to it. Can you tell us, mister official,
- 9:17Speaker 1: mister election official, when we might learn who won the election? Maybe,
- 9:22Speaker 1: as long as you don't hold me to it. That
- 9:25Speaker 1: was the chairman of the Maricopa County Supervisors. Notice what
- 9:28Speaker 1: you did not hear in that exchange. You did not
- 9:30Speaker 1: hear an apology. The guy in charge of election results
- 9:34Speaker 1: never said sorry for not providing those results. It's hard
- 9:37Speaker 1: to understand this. It's not a resource problem. Certainly, the
- 9:40Speaker 1: budget of Maricopa County is about four and a half
- 9:43Speaker 1: billion dollars a year. For perspective, the entire Hoover Dam
- 9:48Speaker 1: cost eight hundred and ninety million dollars to build, and
- 9:51Speaker 1: yes that is in adjusted dollars. So for the price
- 9:54Speaker 1: of five Hoover dams, Maricopa County can't even count the
- 9:58Speaker 1: ballots in a single statewide election. In a country that
- 10:01Speaker 1: claims to care about democracy, they can't even manage to
- 10:04Speaker 1: let people vote on election day. On election day, according
- 10:07Speaker 1: to the county seventy of two hundred and twenty three
- 10:10Speaker 1: polling places suffered major problems with voting machines. Machines the
- 10:14Speaker 1: county paid millions for it just recently, and their failure
- 10:18Speaker 1: disenfranchised mostly Republican voters who wanted to cast their ballots
- 10:21Speaker 1: in person when poll worker reported that twenty five percent
- 10:25Speaker 1: of ballots were being rejected. Now you would call that
- 10:28Speaker 1: third world, but actually it's beneath third World. Most third
- 10:32Speaker 1: world countries have serious elections. They require voter ID. They
- 10:36Speaker 1: don't wait days for election results. In Ghana, in Venezuela,
- 10:40Speaker 1: whatever you think of it, they tally their ballots within hours.
- 10:43Speaker 1: But suddenly we can't manage to do that. Clark County, Nevada,
- 10:47Speaker 1: the home of Las Vegas, says there are still tens
- 10:49Speaker 1: of thousands of ballots left to count. Therefore, we're not
- 10:51Speaker 1: going to know what happened in the election until Monday.
- 10:54Speaker 1: We hope. We're gonna talk to Adam Laxalt about that
- 10:57Speaker 1: in a minute. He's running for Senate. Therefials in Clark
- 11:00Speaker 1: County are clearly overwhelmed. They're too busy to finish the
- 11:03Speaker 1: one job they are paid to do, and yet strangely,
- 11:06Speaker 1: they still have time to attack Donald Trump on social media,
- 11:08Speaker 1: which they've been doing all day. First things first, but
- 11:12Speaker 1: it's not just Nevada. In Arizona, key house races all
- 11:15Speaker 1: along the west coast of the country, in California, Oregon,
- 11:18Speaker 1: and Washington State are still unsettled tonight. They're saying they
- 11:21Speaker 1: haven't counted the votes. Really, what is this? Is this fraud?
- 11:27Speaker 1: We're not sure and on some level it doesn't matter
- 11:29Speaker 1: what it is. What we know is that the mechanics
- 11:32Speaker 1: of our elections are not working, almost exclusively in states
- 11:35Speaker 1: and cities run by Democrats. Are they cheating? Are they disorganized? Again?
- 11:40Speaker 1: Not relevant. The system is obviously out of control. It's flaky,
- 11:46Speaker 1: and systems like that cannot be, by definition reliable. Would
- 11:50Speaker 1: you let Americopa County elections official flyer aircraft? Probably not.
- 11:55Speaker 1: That's a disaster. Democracy is a faith based system. You
- 11:59Speaker 1: have to believe in it in order for it to work.
- 12:02Speaker 1: But who could believe in this? So our news media,
- 12:06Speaker 1: in case you haven't noticed, it's went the last several years.
- 12:08Speaker 1: Quote defending democracy in sir trademark here. So you'd think
- 12:11Speaker 1: the democracy defenders would care about the collapse of democracy,
- 12:14Speaker 1: but just the opposite. They're telling you it's all completely normal.
- 12:17Speaker 1: It's always been this way. If you disagree, you'll be
- 12:20Speaker 1: censored on social media. As we found out today, Twitter
- 12:23Speaker 1: has slapped a warning label on videos from this show
- 12:26Speaker 1: because we reported verifiable facts from election officials about election
- 12:31Speaker 1: screw ups. So it's thinking weeks to count the ballots
- 12:35Speaker 1: in your democracy, but you're not allowed to notice it.
- 12:41Speaker 1: I mean, think about this. Weeks. We want you to
- 12:45Speaker 1: hurry up and vote. You got to vote on time.
- 12:48Speaker 1: We want to make sure that you guys, vote, vote, vote, vote,
- 12:51Speaker 1: and then it may take weeks or months for you
- 12:53Speaker 1: to actually know what happened. That's now where we are.
- 12:58Speaker 1: That's what we're doing. This is the ball game, right,
- 13:02Speaker 1: This is it, folks, This is the whole thing. This
- 13:05Speaker 1: is all of it. Is it frustrating? You? Bet? You should?
- 13:10Speaker 1: You be furious that this is happening, of course, But
- 13:14Speaker 1: if we don't have faith in our election process, then
- 13:18Speaker 1: what are we doing here? Right? That's the question that's
- 13:22Speaker 1: being asked. Why are we sitting here having this conversation
- 13:27Speaker 1: right now? We shouldn't be I do like the measured
- 13:31Speaker 1: way honestly that he just said this, right, the measured
- 13:34Speaker 1: way that he described it as saying, Hey, we don't
- 13:38Speaker 1: know if there's election fraud or not. We don't know,
- 13:41Speaker 1: right but what we do know is that you have
- 13:43Speaker 1: to have faith in system, and if we live in
- 13:45Speaker 1: the greatest country the world, you should be able to
- 13:46Speaker 1: count the damn votes on the night of the election.
- 13:49Speaker 1: The idea that we don't have enough technology or enough
- 13:51Speaker 1: money to do this the right way is absurd. It's
- 13:54Speaker 1: totally absurd. How is it that every time we have
- 13:58Speaker 1: a chance to be successful, and I'm talking about the
- 14:00Speaker 1: Republican Party, we end up screwing it up by listening
- 14:04Speaker 1: to incompetent idiots in the Republican Party that have a
- 14:08Speaker 1: history of screwing things up. I'm referencing Paul Ryan coming
- 14:12Speaker 1: out and saying that Donald Trump should not run for president,
- 14:16Speaker 1: and him saying he has no chance of winning, and
- 14:18Speaker 1: him saying everybody else, anybody else that runs the Republicans,
- 14:22Speaker 1: I will win, but Donald Trump. He also came out
- 14:25Speaker 1: and said that Nancy Pelosi has an amazing career and
- 14:29Speaker 1: an incredible legacy, while then going out and trashing Donald Trump.
- 14:34Speaker 1: If there's any time we should be united and focused
- 14:37Speaker 1: right now, it should be on the issues that we
- 14:39Speaker 1: have there was no message from Paul Ryan about the
- 14:44Speaker 1: Biden crime family in his interview. There was no message
- 14:49Speaker 1: from Paul Ryan reminding the American people while he's giving
- 14:53Speaker 1: accolades to Nancy Pelosi that, oh, yeah, now there's some
- 14:56Speaker 1: other things about Nancy you might want to remember, right,
- 14:59Speaker 1: there's some other things about Nancy Pelosi. You might want
- 15:01Speaker 1: to just remind people that, you know, she's kind of
- 15:03Speaker 1: an elitist, and when she shut down the country, she
- 15:06Speaker 1: was still getting her hair done. Like, those are things
- 15:08Speaker 1: that that are valid points that should people should remember.
- 15:12Speaker 1: You might want to remind people that Nancy Pelosi was
- 15:15Speaker 1: the one who literally helped create what an illegitimate person
- 15:19Speaker 1: is in politics. Every time someone wants she didn't like,
- 15:22Speaker 1: she said it was illegitimate president or illegitimate election. She
- 15:25Speaker 1: said that about Donald Trump over and over and over again.
- 15:29Speaker 1: Where is all that when Nancy Pelosi, can someone remind me,
- 15:35Speaker 1: you know, not me, Paul Ryan and the other Democrats
- 15:38Speaker 1: on those issues? It would be really nice, wouldn't it
- 15:42Speaker 1: be pretty awesome if somebody would remind him of those things.
- 15:47Speaker 1: Nancy Pelosi also said that there's not anything corrupt about
- 15:50Speaker 1: the Biden crime family and that Joe Biden's perfect and
- 15:53Speaker 1: there's nothing wrong with him and everything is fine. She
- 15:56Speaker 1: will defend him no matter what. Right. Well, we know
- 15:58Speaker 1: that he lied to the American people, Joe and lie
- 16:00Speaker 1: when he said he never talked about his business dealings
- 16:03Speaker 1: with us, you know, with his son. We know that's
- 16:05Speaker 1: a lie. We have evidence that shows that that is
- 16:09Speaker 1: a lie. But I would caution everybody right now when
- 16:12Speaker 1: you see these useful idiots coming out, never forget who
- 16:16Speaker 1: they gave you. They gave you Jeff Bush, they gave
- 16:18Speaker 1: you John McCain, they gave you Mitt Romney. Okay, look
- 16:23Speaker 1: at what Paul Ryan did to this country because he
- 16:26Speaker 1: refused to organize the Republican Party and fight with Barack
- 16:31Speaker 1: Obama and fight with Nancy Pelosi. When you come out
- 16:36Speaker 1: on national TV and you start giving accolades to Pelosi
- 16:39Speaker 1: but attacking Donald Trump, and you forget all of the
- 16:43Speaker 1: amazing things that Donald Trump did while saying it's impossible
- 16:45Speaker 1: for him to be elected, that anyone else but him
- 16:49Speaker 1: could get elected, that's a person you shouldn't be listening to.
- 16:54Speaker 1: I'm all in favor of constructive criticism, but I'm not
- 16:56Speaker 1: going to take a lecture from Paul Ryan, a guy
- 17:00Speaker 1: that claimed he his for fiscal responsibility when he was
- 17:02Speaker 1: in charge, that ran up the national debt. I'm not
- 17:04Speaker 1: going to listen to him. I'm certainly not going to
- 17:07Speaker 1: listen to a guy that says an anti Pelosi is
- 17:08Speaker 1: an incredible legacy that she should look back on, when
- 17:12Speaker 1: part of her legacy is the burning down of American
- 17:14Speaker 1: citizens cities. I should say, excuse me not backing the
- 17:17Speaker 1: police and having an open border policy. Kevin McCarthy has
- 17:23Speaker 1: now come out and look, this is because of conservatives
- 17:26Speaker 1: holding his feet to the fire. He wons so desperately
- 17:29Speaker 1: to be the Speaker of the House. He wants to
- 17:31Speaker 1: be the next Paul Ryan. That hardcore conservatives are holding
- 17:33Speaker 1: his feet to the fire, and he has finally come
- 17:36Speaker 1: out today saying he will not allow Eric Swallwell and
- 17:38Speaker 1: Adam Shift on the Intel Committee and will remove Omar
- 17:42Speaker 1: Alamamar from the Foreign Affairs Committee because of the threat
- 17:46Speaker 1: that they are to America. Listen to this. Let me
- 17:49Speaker 1: ask you about your decisions should you become the Speaker
- 17:52Speaker 1: of the House in January. What are you going to
- 17:54Speaker 1: do in terms of these Democrats that you have on
- 17:57Speaker 1: such important committees. You've talked in the past about removing
- 18:00Speaker 1: Elon Omar, you've talked about removing Adam Shift, about Eric Swalwell.
- 18:05Speaker 1: Will you deliver Yes, I will. I'll keep that promise.
- 18:09Speaker 1: And one thing I said from the very beginning, Eric
- 18:11Speaker 1: Swalwell cannot get a security clearance in the public sector.
- 18:15Speaker 1: Why would we ever give him a security clearance in
- 18:17Speaker 1: the secrets to America? So I will not allow him
- 18:20Speaker 1: to be on Intel. You have Adam Shift, who had
- 18:23Speaker 1: lied to the American public time and again. We will
- 18:25Speaker 1: not allow him to be on the Intel Committee either.
- 18:28Speaker 1: And you give Congresswoman Omar her anti Semitic comments that
- 18:32Speaker 1: have gone forward, We're not going to allow her to
- 18:34Speaker 1: be on foreign affairs. But we're also going to stand
- 18:36Speaker 1: up to what's happening, not just in the halls in Congress,
- 18:39Speaker 1: but what's happening into our higher education institutions, the anti
- 18:44Speaker 1: Semitism that's going on on these campuses and others. We
- 18:47Speaker 1: will investigate that as well and stop this to make
- 18:49Speaker 1: sure that America does have the freedoms that we've said
- 18:53Speaker 1: we would keep, and we will stand up to it
- 18:55Speaker 1: as we move forward. You want to know why he's
- 18:56Speaker 1: saying that Kevin McCarthy's saying that because he's our desk
- 19:00Speaker 1: really wants to become the speak of the House that
- 19:02Speaker 1: he promised and made deals with hardcore conservatives to get
- 19:05Speaker 1: rid of those people. He should, by the way, and
- 19:08Speaker 1: we shouldn't have had to have to beg him to
- 19:09Speaker 1: do it either, right, that should just be an obvious
- 19:12Speaker 1: no brainer there. Now, before I get into more of
- 19:16Speaker 1: this story, I want to say thank you and tell
- 19:17Speaker 1: you about our good friends at Legacy Precious Metals. Without them,
- 19:20Speaker 1: the show wouldn't be possible. And if you have not
- 19:24Speaker 1: looked at gold and silver as a way to protect
- 19:26Speaker 1: your hard earned dollars against what the happening on Wall
- 19:29Speaker 1: Street with inflation, it's time for you to call them
- 19:32Speaker 1: and get the free Investor's Guide. Why because so many
- 19:35Speaker 1: around the world are now using gold and silver, and
- 19:38Speaker 1: historically they have for decades as a protection, a hedge
- 19:41Speaker 1: against inflation, which is exactly what we're dealing with right now.
- 19:45Speaker 1: If you're terrified to look at your retirement account, your
- 19:47Speaker 1: four one case statement because of what's happening on Wall Street,
- 19:51Speaker 1: that's all the more reason why you should call and
- 19:53Speaker 1: get the investors got in Gold and silver. Protect your
- 19:56Speaker 1: hard earned money and diversify. Call them and get the
- 19:59Speaker 1: free investors Guide from Legacy Precious Medals one eight six

- 20:12Speaker 1: Legacy PM Investments dot com. The Republican Party right now
- 20:18Speaker 1: should not be focused on getting rid of Donald Trump.
- 20:20Speaker 1: The Republican Party should be focused on what Jim Jordan
- 20:25Speaker 1: and on what Congressman not only Jordan, but also what
- 20:31Speaker 1: Congressman Comer have been focused on, and that is talking
- 20:35Speaker 1: about the Biden crime family represent of Jim Jordan today.
- 20:40Speaker 1: So the IRS complied when Obama's Department of Justice asked
- 20:45Speaker 1: for confidential taxpayer information, and he said, these are the
- 20:49Speaker 1: whistleblowers coming forward and we're going to investigate. This is
- 20:52Speaker 1: what we should be focused on, not on attacking Donald Trump.
- 20:57Speaker 1: Jim Jordan. How did this happen? How did the dog
- 21:00Speaker 1: Day and the FBI becomes so politicized. We know what
- 21:03Speaker 1: they did around the Russia collusion story. They had no
- 21:07Speaker 1: evidence of any collusion with Trump, and yet they pursued
- 21:10Speaker 1: FISA warrants to spy and survail people within the Trump world. Aggressively.
- 21:15Speaker 1: I don't know how it happened, but I know it
- 21:17Speaker 1: has to change because America is the greatest country in history,
- 21:20Speaker 1: but we're not America. America is not America. If you
- 21:23Speaker 1: have a Justice Department that treats people differently under the law,
- 21:26Speaker 1: it's not supposed to work that way. And it's why
- 21:28Speaker 1: fourteen agents have come talked to us as whistleblowers. And
- 21:31Speaker 1: what they have said is at the highest levels, not
- 21:33Speaker 1: the rank and file, but at the Washington Field office
- 21:35Speaker 1: of the FBI, at the highest levels of the Justice Department.
- 21:38Speaker 1: That's where the politics is. One of these agents said,
- 21:40Speaker 1: it's rotted at its core. That's how bad it is.
- 21:44Speaker 1: So look, I remember this too. If you need any more,
- 21:47Speaker 1: go back to mister Smith again. Jack Smith, there was
- 21:50Speaker 1: back in twenty thirteen, his section that he ran at
- 21:53Speaker 1: the Justice Department not only was looking for ways to
- 21:56Speaker 1: prosecute the very people who were targeted by Obama's IRS,
- 22:00Speaker 1: that they also ask the IRS to give them confidential
- 22:03Speaker 1: taxpayer information and the IRS complied. Think about that. We
- 22:08Speaker 1: had the Justice Department saying we want information we're not
- 22:11Speaker 1: supposed to get give it to us, and the IRS
- 22:13Speaker 1: gave it to him. So this is a seems to
- 22:16Speaker 1: me a pattern. It has to change, because if it doesn't,
- 22:19Speaker 1: we don't have this great thing that we call America
- 22:21Speaker 1: where people are treated equally under our law. He's right,
- 22:25Speaker 1: Jim Jordan is right. Where's Paul Ryan talking about all
- 22:29Speaker 1: of those points there? These are all things that the
- 22:33Speaker 1: Republicans need to not lose focus on, and these are
- 22:36Speaker 1: the issues that Republicans need to be laser focused on.
- 22:40Speaker 1: I'm not worried right now. I'm not gonna lie to
- 22:42Speaker 1: you about the presidential election. It's going to take care
- 22:45Speaker 1: of itself. There's plenty of time to talk about that
- 22:47Speaker 1: down the road. What I am worried about is the
- 22:51Speaker 1: Republican Party screwing up the midterms and the gains that
- 22:56Speaker 1: we did get in the House and taking advice from
- 23:02Speaker 1: Paul Ryan saying nothing personal, as he then says, the
- 23:06Speaker 1: evidence tells us that Trump is the problem with the GOP.
- 23:10Speaker 1: I'm not listening to that guy. I'm not listening to
- 23:14Speaker 1: that guy, and no one else should in the Republican Party.
- 23:20Speaker 1: All right, real quick, I want to tell you about
- 23:22Speaker 1: my good friends over at Legacy Precious Metals. With the
- 23:24Speaker 1: economy really an inflation out of control in the stock market,
- 23:28Speaker 1: taking horrific losses. The NASDAC down more in one month
- 23:33Speaker 1: than we've seen back in two thousand and eight was
- 23:35Speaker 1: the last time it was this bad. You may be
- 23:38Speaker 1: looking at your financial portfolio and you're sick to your stomach.
- 23:41Speaker 1: You're not alone. The question is if you are not
- 23:45Speaker 1: diversified in precious metals as part of your financial portfolio,
- 23:50Speaker 1: then what would it look like now? Maybe if you
- 23:52Speaker 1: would have been, it's not too late, by the way,
- 23:54Speaker 1: to take advantage of gold and silver. It is a
- 23:57Speaker 1: hedge against inflation, and it's a way for you to
- 24:00Speaker 1: averse fy your IRA, your four oh one K, your
- 24:02Speaker 1: investment portfolio. If you've never looked at gold and silver,
- 24:06Speaker 1: there's actually no better time than right now now. I've
- 24:08Speaker 1: been investing golden silver for gosh, almost twenty years. I've
- 24:12Speaker 1: used it as a percentage of my strategy to protect myself.
- 24:16Speaker 1: So on the worst days on Wall Street usually they're
- 24:19Speaker 1: not as bad for me as they are for others.

- 24:58Speaker 1: for Thanksgiving? Apparently NBC News believes that the good news
- 25:03Speaker 1: is cranberries are down thirteen percent. There's a lot of
- 25:06Speaker 1: cranberries out there, even though everything else has gone up.
- 25:09Speaker 1: And now people are looking at alternatives to having a
- 25:12Speaker 1: turkey because of the price. Alternatives to turkey, take a listen,
- 25:17Speaker 1: flee very judiciously, and aren't going to do anything stupid.
- 25:21Speaker 1: It's the story of media right now. It's so interesting.
- 25:23Speaker 1: Let's turn to your charts. In the story of Thanksgiving,
- 25:26Speaker 1: inflation is hitting people. We're going to go out shopping
- 25:28Speaker 1: to buy their turkey and their mashed potatoes and everything else.
- 25:31Speaker 1: Price is up twenty percent for a dinner this year.
- 25:33Speaker 1: It sounds like almost yeah, yeah, it's pretty amazing. They're
- 25:37Speaker 1: up eighteen percent, up to eighty one dollars and thirty
- 25:41Speaker 1: one cents, which you can see in the chart in
- 25:43Speaker 1: the bar chart in the middle there, and was just
- 25:47Speaker 1: a year ago of sixteen seventy two. This is to
- 25:49Speaker 1: feet a family of ten. And on the right you
- 25:52Speaker 1: can see some of the main items that coin of
- 25:54Speaker 1: your Thanksgiving dinner. Stuffing up sixteen. We'll talk about the
- 25:57Speaker 1: reasons in a second. Stuffing up sixty nine percent, rolls
- 26:00Speaker 1: of twenty two percent, pumpkin pie of twenty two percent, Turkey,
- 26:04Speaker 1: which is the biggest item on your Thanksgiving plate, not
- 26:07Speaker 1: surprisingly twenty one percent, also up five dollars, fully a
- 26:11Speaker 1: third of that increase. And the only one that's down
- 26:15Speaker 1: is cranberries, which are down four percent, sorry, thirteen percent.
- 26:20Speaker 1: And I know somebody's going to ask me why are
- 26:22Speaker 1: kranberis down thirteen percent? And the answer is because, unlike
- 26:26Speaker 1: a lot of the wrestler, I'm going to tell you,
- 26:28Speaker 1: cranberry crops are up four percent. So there's a lot
- 26:31Speaker 1: of cranberrys out there, all right, put a lot of
- 26:34Speaker 1: Kranbrais on it. We look. The reasons are interesting, and
- 26:36Speaker 1: they cut across a whole bunch of different factors, and
- 26:39Speaker 1: in fairness, this is not one you can pin on
- 26:42Speaker 1: the Biden administration or the Federal Reserve. You've got a
- 26:44Speaker 1: bunch of stuff going on out there, and so if
- 26:47Speaker 1: you want to talk about that, I love this right
- 26:48Speaker 1: like the prices are through the roof. And he immediately says, oh, well,
- 26:53Speaker 1: there's a bunch of other factors out there that you
- 26:56Speaker 1: can't just pin this on the Biden administrations. You don't
- 26:59Speaker 1: even try it. And he's ready, by the way, he's
- 27:01Speaker 1: ready to tell you every other reason why your Thanksgiving
- 27:05Speaker 1: is going to cost you more and why you shouldn't
- 27:07Speaker 1: be upset that it's going to cost you more. It's
- 27:10Speaker 1: other issues that we can't control. He's going to blame
- 27:13Speaker 1: the flu for this. He's gonna blame droughts for this.
- 27:18Speaker 1: Take a listen at the price of turkey. What happened
- 27:20Speaker 1: to turkey is Avian flu, which some of you may
- 27:23Speaker 1: have followed. But Avian flu killed eight million turkeys out
- 27:27Speaker 1: of our forty six million turkeys, and so turkey prices
- 27:31Speaker 1: go up. The other factor that affects all the things
- 27:34Speaker 1: things like bread and stuffing and pumpkin pie and all
- 27:37Speaker 1: that is the drought. There's a huge trought going on
- 27:41Speaker 1: out there, almost at record levels. Certainly the highest in
- 27:44Speaker 1: many years. We can debate, and this is the one
- 27:46Speaker 1: sort of policy area here we can debate whether global
- 27:50Speaker 1: warming has something to do with this, Climate change has
- 27:52Speaker 1: something to do with this or not. But it's but
- 27:55Speaker 1: drought has been a big factor because it means less wheat,
- 27:58Speaker 1: pure potatoes and so forth, and that has also driven
- 28:01Speaker 1: up prices enormously for wheat. The war in Ukraine also
- 28:05Speaker 1: helped drive up prices enormously for wheat, and all that
- 28:08Speaker 1: contributes to higher prices for your dinner roles and your
- 28:11Speaker 1: pumpkin pie and so forth, as I said, and then
- 28:15Speaker 1: then you put it all together, and what's happened so
- 28:18Speaker 1: on the left is kind of interesting because what it
- 28:20Speaker 1: shows is how many hours somebody has to work to
- 28:24Speaker 1: pay for their Thanksgiving dinner. And you can see that
- 28:27Speaker 1: the red line at the top is for people who
- 28:29Speaker 1: earn just a minimum wage, and the amount of time
- 28:32Speaker 1: they have to work for a Thanksgiving dinner is actually
- 28:35Speaker 1: now higher than it was in nineteen eighty six, partly
- 28:38Speaker 1: because we haven't raised the minimum wage that much, but
- 28:40Speaker 1: eight hours and forty five minutes to pay for that. Again,
- 28:43Speaker 1: that to lie, minimum wage has gone up significantly since
- 28:47Speaker 1: nineteen eighty six you were in three dour range. And
- 28:50Speaker 1: look at where we are now. They're just making it
- 28:53Speaker 1: up as they go. If you look at the federal
- 28:57Speaker 1: minimum wage right now in twenty twenty two, okay, federal
- 29:02Speaker 1: minimum wage, and you compare it to where it was
- 29:07Speaker 1: in nineteen eighties, to say it hasn't gone up is
- 29:11Speaker 1: just stupid. It's gone up a lot, and I think
- 29:16Speaker 1: they know that. They just don't care. Seven twenty five
- 29:20Speaker 1: federal minimum wage right now? Where was it back when
- 29:24Speaker 1: he was saying? And by the way, there's a lot
- 29:27Speaker 1: of places that have gone above that right Alaska's ten
- 29:30Speaker 1: thirty four air zone as twelve eighty hour consalls eleven
- 29:33Speaker 1: dollars an hour. California is fifteen dollars an hour, Colorado
- 29:37Speaker 1: twelvef efty six, Connecticut fourteen, Delaware ten fifty, Washington, DC
- 29:41Speaker 1: fifteen twenty, Florida eleven dollars. Georgia, all right, is the
- 29:45Speaker 1: only place where it's actually, you know, still pretty low,
- 29:48Speaker 1: Idaho still Hawaii ten ten, Illinois twelve dollars. There's a
- 29:53Speaker 1: lot of states, Maine twelve seventy five, Maryland twelve fifty,
- 29:56Speaker 1: mass chuses fourteen twenty five. Is there minimum wage there
- 29:59Speaker 1: in that state? They've at above the minimum federal level.
- 30:02Speaker 1: New Jersey thirteen dollars an hour. In New York thirteen
- 30:04Speaker 1: twenty fast food is now fifteen dollars an hour. You
- 30:08Speaker 1: look at these numbers, Rhode Island twelve twenty five, Virginia eleven,
- 30:12Speaker 1: Vermont twelve fifty five, Washington fourteen forty nine, West Virginia
- 30:17Speaker 1: eight seventy five, Wisconsin seven twenty five, Wyoming still low.
- 30:23Speaker 1: You look at the number, and you look at all
- 30:24Speaker 1: of these places that I just mentioned, and they sit
- 30:27Speaker 1: there and they tell you on TV, oh, well, it's
- 30:28Speaker 1: because midium wage hasn't come up. A minimum wage has
- 30:30Speaker 1: come up. It's way higher than it was when you're
- 30:33Speaker 1: putting it back in the nineteen eighties for a reference point.
- 30:35Speaker 1: The reason why people can't buy as much as year
- 30:38Speaker 1: is because of inflation, the policies of the Biden administration.
- 30:41Speaker 1: You know it. It's not Avian flu. Okay, it's not drought.
- 30:46Speaker 1: It's inflation. And last Thanksgiving, by the way, was a
- 30:50Speaker 1: record high for what it costs to go do Thanksgiving.
- 30:53Speaker 1: So we're up twenty percent from a record high last year.
- 30:57Speaker 1: If a Republican was in office, they would remind jew
- 31:00Speaker 1: of that. But they're not going to today. Why would they, Right,
- 31:05Speaker 1: you can't remind somebody of that today, Right, That's something
- 31:08Speaker 1: that's something you just you can't tell people about. Absolutely not.
