- 0:10Speaker 2: So don't given the busy Yeah, listening to show, I
- 0:38Speaker 2: don't joy joy.
- 0:59Speaker 3: You know you.
- 1:06Speaker 4: Love you?
- 1:25Speaker 3: Turn to turn the mouth, turn you probably got to
- 1:44Speaker 3: turn the mouth, turn out, turn the water. Then a
- 1:48Speaker 3: jap wouldn't come come out?
- 1:59Speaker 5: You think I sure will?
- 2:04Speaker 6: Good morning everybody. You are listening to the voice? Come on,
- 2:09Speaker 6: come on, y'all dig me now. One and only Steve
- 2:11Speaker 6: Harvey got a radio show man.
- 2:14Speaker 5: Is God good to me? Unbelievable? Yeah, he is.
- 2:18Speaker 6: And I can only attribute it to one thing. It's
- 2:22Speaker 6: just been a turnaround in my life. It's been me
- 2:26Speaker 6: finally making decision to see what all God has for me,
- 2:30Speaker 6: but at the same time trying to be more God
- 2:32Speaker 6: want me to be instead of more of what I
- 2:35Speaker 6: want to be. That's the trade off. You know, you
- 2:37Speaker 6: gotta do something now, you know, you know you want
- 2:39Speaker 6: God's blessings. You got to be willing to do something
- 2:42Speaker 6: on his behalf. And I'm not saying I got it
- 2:45Speaker 6: right right now, because I'm just being real with you.
- 2:49Speaker 5: I don't.
- 2:50Speaker 6: I don't have it all together by any stretch. Of imagination.
- 2:54Speaker 6: I'm trying to get better in several areas. I'm praying
- 2:57Speaker 6: about it, I'm working on it. But you know, it's
- 3:00Speaker 6: a process, and I've grown to accept the process. But
- 3:05Speaker 6: I'm improving in a lot of areas from day to day.
- 3:07Speaker 6: But I'll tell you what, Man, my success, all that's
- 3:10Speaker 6: going on with me I can only attribute to this turnaround.
- 3:14Speaker 6: And the turnaround was simple. I turned around and started
- 3:18Speaker 6: looking at God. That was the simple move.
- 3:21Speaker 5: Man.
- 3:22Speaker 6: I just turned around and started looking at Him, and
- 3:24Speaker 6: I was going, Okay, I get it. Now, you created me.
- 3:27Speaker 6: You're the creator. You have a purpose for me. I
- 3:32Speaker 6: understand that.
- 3:33Speaker 7: Now.
- 3:34Speaker 6: Now let me just walk in that purpose and let
- 3:37Speaker 6: me get to doing that purpose. Now, my purpose and
- 3:40Speaker 6: your purpose and their purpose and anybody's perfect purpose could
- 3:44Speaker 6: be different, and the way you go about the purpose
- 3:48Speaker 6: can be different.
- 3:50Speaker 5: And that's the part that I've really grown up to.
- 3:52Speaker 6: I've opened up my mind to understanding that everybody's different,
- 3:57Speaker 6: nobody's quite the same, and that is not my right
- 4:00Speaker 6: or position to judge, but to be of a forgiving
- 4:04Speaker 6: spirit and understand and forgive those as I ask God
- 4:07Speaker 6: to forgive me.
- 4:09Speaker 5: See, that's the key that's the key, y'all.
- 4:12Speaker 6: So when you're out here and you stuck on this unforgiveness,
- 4:15Speaker 6: understand in the large Prayer as a segment that says,
- 4:21Speaker 6: forgive us our trustpasses, as we forgive those who trustpass
- 4:25Speaker 6: against us. There's another version says forgive us our debts
- 4:28Speaker 6: as we forgive our debtors. It's two different versions, but
- 4:32Speaker 6: either one it means the exact same thing. It means
- 4:37Speaker 6: simply this that you are asking God to forgive yours
- 4:43Speaker 6: like you forgive others. Forgive us our trust passes as
- 4:47Speaker 6: we forgive those who trustpass against us. When I cross
- 4:50Speaker 6: the line with you, God handle me the way I
- 4:54Speaker 6: handle people when they cross the line with me. You
- 4:57Speaker 6: feel what I'm saying to you, See you understand that.
- 4:59Speaker 6: That's to break down of it best way I can
- 5:02Speaker 6: give it to you. Forgive us our trustpasses as we
- 5:06Speaker 6: forgive those who trustpass against us. Forgive me God for
- 5:10Speaker 6: stepping over the line, like I forgive those that step
- 5:13Speaker 6: over the line on me. That's the hard part, man,
- 5:16Speaker 6: That's the part man I've really been working on. I've
- 5:19Speaker 6: been really trying to get that together. And so I've
- 5:22Speaker 6: learned forgiveness a lot better over the past five years
- 5:25Speaker 6: than I have before, and it's paid off. I can't
- 5:29Speaker 6: tell you how it's paid off, because now God's mercy
- 5:34Speaker 6: and grace is all over me, because I've learned to
- 5:38Speaker 6: become more graceful. Now I ain't graceful like him, I
- 5:43Speaker 6: ain't merciful like him, but I've learned to become more
- 5:47Speaker 6: more graceful, more merciful, because man, I can't live my
- 5:51Speaker 6: life like that. I just got sick of me. Man,
- 5:54Speaker 6: you mad at me now I'm mad at you.
- 5:57Speaker 5: You hating on me? Now I'm more hate on you.
- 5:59Speaker 6: I ain't got time for that. Man, I've got you.
- 6:01Speaker 6: Look here, you got somewhere to go. Hate take up time.
- 6:06Speaker 6: It's time consuming.
- 6:07Speaker 5: Hating. Trying to seek revenge just time consuming.
- 6:12Speaker 6: It take up way too much of your time to
- 6:14Speaker 6: seek revenge when vengeance ain't really yours. That's another one.
- 6:19Speaker 6: Vengeance is mine, saith the Lord. It ain't yours. So
- 6:23Speaker 6: now when you go to seek it to take it out,
- 6:25Speaker 6: guess what you're doing. You're doing something now, man. Now
- 6:29Speaker 6: you off in the area that you got no business
- 6:32Speaker 6: being in, and instead of steady climbing your letter like
- 6:35Speaker 6: you're supposed to.
- 6:36Speaker 5: You didn't take out time for vengeance to hate. I'm
- 6:40Speaker 5: a hater. I'm a be a blogger. I'm a blog
- 6:44Speaker 5: about so and so.
- 6:46Speaker 6: When you're blogging about somebody, and most of these people
- 6:49Speaker 6: you don't even know when you're blogging about somebody, what
- 6:52Speaker 6: you're doing, what you hating.
- 6:56Speaker 5: It takes time to hate. Man.
- 6:58Speaker 6: I just decided, man, and I got to take all
- 7:02Speaker 6: my time and instead of have doing time and being active,
- 7:07Speaker 6: I got to be proactive. See some people get that confused,
- 7:11Speaker 6: being active and being proactive. Pro is positive. Pro means
- 7:16Speaker 6: to move forward. You know, if you put pro in
- 7:20Speaker 6: front of most words, it's a positive influence. You know,
- 7:23Speaker 6: there's the pros and the cons. The pros is the
- 7:27Speaker 6: good side, the cons is what can go wrong, the
- 7:29Speaker 6: bad side. You know, if you're active, that's one thing.
- 7:33Speaker 6: But if you proactive, you're going forward in a positive direction.
- 7:38Speaker 6: When you become a pro that means you the best
- 7:41Speaker 6: of the best at whatever it is you chosen to be.
- 7:44Speaker 6: I'm a pro so somehow, and I'm no English teacher,
- 7:50Speaker 6: a grammatical god. The word pro a lot of times,
- 7:54Speaker 6: when you put it in front of something means positiveness.
- 7:58Speaker 6: So now a lot of people think that if you
- 8:00Speaker 6: just active, something had to happen. Well, I'm doing something,
- 8:04Speaker 6: and that's what happens. Man. We just find ourselves doing
- 8:06Speaker 6: a lot of busy work that really ain't about nothing
- 8:09Speaker 6: and ain't going nowhere.
- 8:10Speaker 5: It ain't got no.
- 8:10Speaker 6: Direction or no purpose because we haven't tried to find
- 8:14Speaker 6: out the direction of a purpose. So you wake up,
- 8:16Speaker 6: you and your wheels are spinning. You a hamster on
- 8:20Speaker 6: a treadmill. You're running real fast, but you're just going
- 8:22Speaker 6: in the same spot. You understand, that's cause you just
- 8:25Speaker 6: out here being active instead of proactive. Why don't you
- 8:28Speaker 6: get God in your life. Why don't you turn and
- 8:31Speaker 6: face your creator and find out how to become more
- 8:34Speaker 6: proactive so you can do things to move yourself forward.
- 8:38Speaker 6: How you can get your life off the ground and
- 8:40Speaker 6: get off the treadmill and really get it rolling in
- 8:43Speaker 6: the direction that it needs to be going. Man, I'm
- 8:46Speaker 6: telling you, God can make that change for you if
- 8:50Speaker 6: he see you making the change for him. See the
- 8:54Speaker 6: whole key, man, the whole key is you got to
- 8:56Speaker 6: be willing to do something. You got to give God
- 9:00Speaker 6: something to bless bless me God and then you go
- 9:03Speaker 6: sit on your couch and you ain't trying. Okay, bless
- 9:06Speaker 6: me God with what what are you working with? He
- 9:11Speaker 6: can't have the people hire you if you ain't put
- 9:13Speaker 6: the app in. Come on, man, the blessing comes when
- 9:17Speaker 6: you make a proactive step, when you try to do
- 9:20Speaker 6: something on the positive side. Look, man, I'm gonna quit
- 9:24Speaker 6: messing around with all these people. I'm gonna start going home.
- 9:27Speaker 6: I'm gonna leave these women alone out here. You got
- 9:29Speaker 6: to say, all right, man, I ain't going over that tonight.
- 9:32Speaker 6: I just ain't gonna get Then God can work with you.
- 9:36Speaker 6: God help me stop seeing all these women. But you
- 9:39Speaker 6: steady going over there calling them setting up stuff. We
- 9:43Speaker 6: can't nobody help you, because once you get over there,
- 9:46Speaker 6: you already know. See, you gotta get proactive. You gotta
- 9:50Speaker 6: do something yourself. You make one step, he'll make two.
- 9:54Speaker 6: That's the key, man.
- 9:56Speaker 5: So come on, y'all you're listening, ladies and gentlemen.
- 10:04Speaker 6: I'm gonna say it again, ladies and gentlemen, it's a
- 10:09Speaker 6: new day. It's a new opportunity. It's a gift from God.
- 10:13Speaker 6: It's an honor, it's a privilege, it's a pleasure. To
- 10:17Speaker 6: still be here, to know that God ain't through with
- 10:21Speaker 6: me yet. Man, I'm overjoyed about that. I expect great
- 10:26Speaker 6: things today. I look forward to whatever challenges may come.
- 10:31Speaker 6: I hope that God gives me the strength and wisdom
- 10:33Speaker 6: to deal with each and every one of them. I
- 10:36Speaker 6: hope that He gives me the good, the good character
- 10:39Speaker 6: to deal with all my tasks in front of me
- 10:42Speaker 6: with the joyful heart, realizing that the blessings is on
- 10:46Speaker 6: the way. One of them already got here.
- 10:49Speaker 5: He woke us up. Ain't that good?
- 10:51Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 10:51Speaker 6: It is Steve Harvey Moore on the Show, Shirley Strawberry,
- 10:54Speaker 6: Carla Farrell, Mississippi, Monica Junior, and the Legend of Nephew Tommy.
- 11:00Speaker 5: Uh well, what's on your mind? They've been pretty quiet?
- 11:03Speaker 5: Oh no, I'm just this man. You know, tomorrow a
- 11:06Speaker 5: big day. We got a big day tomorrow. Yeah. But
- 11:10Speaker 5: who are these people talking about? I don't know yet.
- 11:12Speaker 5: Who is you?
- 11:15Speaker 8: What is taking people so long unc to make their
- 11:17Speaker 8: mind up about this?
- 11:18Speaker 6: I don't think there's nobody that's undecided at this point.
- 11:21Speaker 6: I just really really don't. I really really don't. I
- 11:25Speaker 6: think those are people just seeking attention. It ain't no way.
- 11:29Speaker 6: You ain't made up your mind by now. You already
- 11:32Speaker 6: know who the better person is. You already know who
- 11:36Speaker 6: is the one who has higher character. You already know
- 11:40Speaker 6: which one is not a feeling.
- 11:42Speaker 5: You already know which one has the most Wait wait, wait, wait.
- 11:48Speaker 6: You already know which one ain't a feeling. I know that,
- 11:52Speaker 6: you already know that, man, I mean, you know what
- 11:57Speaker 6: are we talking about. I was having a discussion out
- 12:00Speaker 6: the country with somebody the other day and they said, man,
- 12:02Speaker 6: I don't get it. How do you all let this
- 12:04Speaker 6: guy be president? Have y'all heard the things he said?
- 12:08Speaker 6: I said, yeah, yeah, Well how can you keep doing this?
- 12:11Speaker 6: Steve heyder Man, quit talking to me like I'm voting
- 12:13Speaker 6: for him, because I'm not. I'm voting for Kamala Harris.
- 12:17Speaker 6: Well what if he wins?
- 12:18Speaker 9: Period?
- 12:19Speaker 6: I said, well, let me explain something to you. If
- 12:22Speaker 6: everybody gets out to vote, she will win. Yeah, yes,
- 12:27Speaker 6: she will win. We are the deciding fact that y'all.
- 12:31Speaker 6: It's clear as a bell. Everybody's after our vote. Everybody, everybody.
- 12:38Speaker 4: You know.
- 12:38Speaker 6: That's how valuable of a vote we have. And we
- 12:41Speaker 6: can control this thing. All we gotta do is go
- 12:43Speaker 6: vote man, it's showtime tomorrow. The three of us have
- 12:49Speaker 6: lived our life based around showtime. Showtime is God time,

- 12:58Speaker 6: it's doe time.

- 13:11Speaker 6: United States Donald Trump, Now, man here, what's crazy. I've
- 13:15Speaker 6: been watching them. They are totally prepared to lose this
- 13:19Speaker 6: election and all hell gonna break loose again. And we
- 13:23Speaker 6: need to put every last one of them in prison
- 13:26Speaker 6: on tape because they're gonna do it in the daytime
- 13:28Speaker 6: because they step.
- 13:31Speaker 1: All right, thank you guys. Coming up at thirty two

- 14:44Speaker 10: our church. We're gonna call, all right, the N word.

- 15:03Speaker 5: the playground, it was all the same.
- 15:09Speaker 4: You know.
- 15:10Speaker 6: They put a couple people in your pocket. Take them
- 15:13Speaker 6: to the pole. Put them in the basket on the

- 16:55Speaker 5: Passing?
- 16:55Speaker 10: The choir has gotten together. They want to sing outside
- 16:59Speaker 10: the boat voting polls tomorrow. They want to say stomp.
- 17:04Speaker 10: I personally think that's gonna scare the white voters for Kamla.

- 17:21Speaker 10: I know when well, I don't want to let them
- 17:23Speaker 10: loose down there at the polls. Ain't nobody down there
- 17:25Speaker 10: from stopping They be working on Eat nine songs. Were
- 17:28Speaker 10: not gonna support this, not gonna be a part of it,
- 17:34Speaker 10: not gonna adherent to it. So the answer is n

- 18:25Speaker 6: because I saw the T shirt that he printed for
- 18:27Speaker 6: Election day, black not for Trump, Blacks who is not
- 18:38Speaker 6: for Trump. That's he got his T shirt printed up
- 18:41Speaker 6: and he got not with a circle and a slash
- 18:44Speaker 6: going through it.
- 18:46Speaker 5: And black.
- 18:47Speaker 6: I know he gonna offend people because Trump. He spelled
- 18:50Speaker 6: out Trump, but he put it on a big orange.

- 19:05Speaker 10: This is her first time voting now. Her mother was
- 19:09Speaker 10: a black panther and her daddy is a red neck.
- 19:12Speaker 10: She said, it's chaos in their house right now. She's
- 19:16Speaker 10: torn who to vote for. She was asking for your assistance,

- 19:49Speaker 10: Yeah, all right, Last, but not least, I think this
- 19:53Speaker 10: is pretty. This is a bit of a stretch. But
- 19:56Speaker 10: they are asking. The Akas are asking for all the

- 20:03Speaker 10: whether you're and o Maya and half kampa, they alta.

- 20:34Speaker 6: We ain't got no problem with her going a k none.
- 20:40Speaker 6: But what the Brothers is not gonna do.
- 20:44Speaker 5: Is going nowhere.
- 20:47Speaker 6: In pink and greens. Almost on behalf of the Q
- 20:52Speaker 6: for sure.
- 20:53Speaker 1: As a fellow, you're listening morning show coming up at
- 20:58Speaker 1: the top of the hour if you missed it. Vice
- 21:01Speaker 1: President Kamala Harris was our special guest last week and
- 21:05Speaker 1: she and Steve had a great one on one conversation
- 21:08Speaker 1: on her agenda to keep moving America forward. We will
- 21:11Speaker 1: run that interview back at the top of the hour.
- 21:14Speaker 1: You don't want to miss it. But right now it
- 21:16Speaker 1: is time to ask the CLO our chief Love Officer,
- 21:20Speaker 1: Steve Harvey. This is from Joyce and Trenton. Joyce says,
- 21:24Speaker 1: I haven't had sex with my husband in over thirty
- 21:27Speaker 1: days because he said he's not voting. We had a
- 21:32Speaker 1: big blowout and he said he didn't care if I
- 21:35Speaker 1: had sex with him or not. Not only is he
- 21:37Speaker 1: a fool. But is he cheating too? Why doesn't he
- 21:41Speaker 1: care about the sex?
- 21:43Speaker 3: Oh?
- 21:44Speaker 5: You got to rob, he don't care about the sex?
- 21:49Speaker 5: All voting?
- 21:50Speaker 3: Wow?
- 21:51Speaker 5: Who did you? Yeah? And let me say this, y'all.
- 21:59Speaker 5: When you don't vote, vote, you have voted. Hello.
- 22:03Speaker 6: Yeah, I want you to understand something. If you do
- 22:06Speaker 6: not vote, you have voted for the opposition. Because we
- 22:13Speaker 6: need all hands on deck right now. We need every living,
- 22:18Speaker 6: breathing human being who has the right mind and a
- 22:24Speaker 6: good heart. And you care about people and you want
- 22:28Speaker 6: the right image in that White House. You have got
- 22:31Speaker 6: to get to the polls and vote.
- 22:34Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 22:34Speaker 6: Did you see the other day when he was on
- 22:36Speaker 6: TV imitating doing oral sex? Yes, sir, cru he was
- 22:42Speaker 6: speaking and imitated having os.
- 22:48Speaker 5: On stage to the microphone. I no, no, no, to
- 22:54Speaker 5: the microphone. He did it. I couldn't believe it, man,
- 23:00Speaker 5: I said, this is anyway, go ahead, look it up.
- 23:06Speaker 5: There's this dude. Is Judas.
- 23:11Speaker 11: Do that?
- 23:11Speaker 6: Right?
- 23:12Speaker 7: Man?
- 23:12Speaker 1: He could do whatever, he could do whatever, but they
- 23:16Speaker 1: hold her feet to the fire on every issue everything.
- 23:21Speaker 6: Would you imagine what knowledge you imagine? What would happen
- 23:26Speaker 6: if Barack Obama did that? On How do you let
- 23:30Speaker 6: this guy get away with this idiotic stuff as president
- 23:33Speaker 6: in front of your children.
- 23:34Speaker 5: Yeah, in front of your children.
- 23:37Speaker 1: They say nothing, nothing, It's ridiculous.
- 23:41Speaker 5: I hope he do all that when he gets to jail.
- 23:43Speaker 5: I hope he do all that.
- 23:44Speaker 1: Then, all right, but we're going to Frieda in Minneapolis.
- 23:50Speaker 1: Frieda says, my husband is remarried, and I saw him
- 23:53Speaker 1: and his wife out shopping. I didn't expect her to
- 23:56Speaker 1: speak to me, but I was shocked that he didn't speak,
- 24:00Speaker 1: and said, he's trying to keep the peace. Why can't
- 24:02Speaker 1: he speak to me when she's around? Mm hmm, No,
- 24:06Speaker 1: he can't speak.
- 24:08Speaker 7: No, I wouldn't even look your way. I ain't gonna
- 24:11Speaker 7: love to you. I wouldn't even look your direction. I
- 24:16Speaker 7: went the other way across the street, but on the
- 24:17Speaker 7: other side of them all all that. Yeah, duck behind
- 24:21Speaker 7: the coach.
- 24:23Speaker 4: For what.
- 24:25Speaker 6: He's trying to keep the piece? Why you want to
- 24:28Speaker 6: get spoke to you the ex wife. But she spoke, okay,
- 24:31Speaker 6: because this the.
- 24:32Speaker 1: Nice thing to do when you see someone.
- 24:34Speaker 5: You know that she used to be when they got divorced.
- 24:38Speaker 5: They was recorded, wasn't I right on by? It don't exist, man,
- 24:47Speaker 5: I ain't got you for?
- 24:48Speaker 7: What?
- 24:48Speaker 5: Why is it important that he speak to you? You
- 24:52Speaker 5: ain't want to stay with him?
- 24:53Speaker 4: What there?
- 24:53Speaker 5: Y'all want to talk? What are we talking for? Wow?
- 24:58Speaker 1: We exist for a reason, exactly.
- 25:02Speaker 5: Moving on. I ain't forgotten now one of them.
- 25:07Speaker 1: I've never read you guys.
- 25:08Speaker 4: Wow.
- 25:09Speaker 5: All right?
- 25:09Speaker 1: Moving on to Graceland and Wilmington. Graceland says I voted
- 25:14Speaker 1: early and I wore a new blond wig. My husband
- 25:17Speaker 1: said that he's surprised the poll workers let me vote
- 25:19Speaker 1: because I look one hundred percent better and very different
- 25:23Speaker 1: with the wig on than I do on my photo.
- 25:26Speaker 1: ID was that shade or a compliment. I'm trying to
- 25:29Speaker 1: figure this one out.
- 25:31Speaker 5: She said, a shady compliment. You look way better with
- 25:38Speaker 5: the blonde wig. You look way better.
- 25:43Speaker 6: There's some dudes out here to say some stuff that
- 25:45Speaker 6: I just dove a't ain't you ain't running that by nobody?
- 25:50Speaker 6: Huh want to say?
- 25:54Speaker 1: How did he say?
- 25:55Speaker 4: It's Steve?
- 25:57Speaker 6: I'm surprised they let you vote. Look ahead, Look look
- 26:01Speaker 6: at you girl, Look at you, and now look at
- 26:03Speaker 6: your picture?
- 26:04Speaker 5: How they how they know that?
- 26:06Speaker 4: You?
- 26:10Speaker 1: Papa?
- 26:10Speaker 5: You go to who down there? Hoo? Down there? Checking?
- 26:16Speaker 6: I d.
- 26:19Speaker 5: Kind of hell.
- 26:21Speaker 6: Girl, that's crazy. This is crazy. Hey, hold one saying
- 26:27Speaker 6: mama come here.
- 26:29Speaker 11: Not mama, not back.
- 26:32Speaker 5: Look look look look the freedom. Yeah freedom, Now look
- 26:40Speaker 5: at the I d ain't that crazy?
- 26:44Speaker 6: And they let her vote? Mama girl, that is so crazy.
- 26:53Speaker 6: Come boys went down the family dog.
- 26:56Speaker 1: Wow, I guess you better keep the blood.
- 27:00Speaker 5: I'm all right.
- 27:00Speaker 1: Last one, Steve. This is Daniel and Bentenbild. Daniel writes,
- 27:04Speaker 1: my dad is messing with a female that's my age.
- 27:08Speaker 1: I had sex with her a few times five years ago.
- 27:11Speaker 1: He has no idea that I know the woman and
- 27:13Speaker 1: the woman doesn't know he's my dad. Do I tell
- 27:16Speaker 1: my dad or do I tell the woman? Or do
- 27:18Speaker 1: I just let this happen?
- 27:21Speaker 5: So got nothing to do with you, Eh.
- 27:24Speaker 9: What Tommy?
- 27:27Speaker 5: You don't man? Let daddy had it? Wow?
- 27:36Speaker 1: Filo.
- 27:39Speaker 6: Yeah, I don't know what of course going. I don't
- 27:46Speaker 6: know what accomplishes when you tell.
- 27:48Speaker 5: Your daddy what.
- 27:53Speaker 3: This show is crazy?
- 27:55Speaker 6: Yeah, because now the daddy must not be with the
- 28:00Speaker 6: mamma no more. Well, yeah, because that dad would have
- 28:05Speaker 6: been a major problem.
- 28:07Speaker 1: Yeah, because then the son is not out right.
- 28:13Speaker 5: So with with the fact that he ain't with your mama,
- 28:16Speaker 5: No more.
- 28:17Speaker 6: Yeah, so he's with his ex or the just the
- 28:21Speaker 6: girl that he's well, but he don't know that, and
- 28:25Speaker 6: the girl don't know that that's his dad.
- 28:28Speaker 5: She trifle.
- 28:30Speaker 9: She doesn't know though.
- 28:32Speaker 3: The son should not tell his dad.
- 28:35Speaker 5: I'm not gonna stop my daddy joy. I'm not i'n
- 28:39Speaker 5: let my daddy have his joy.
- 28:40Speaker 1: Okay, Well, what will happen? Do you think if he
- 28:42Speaker 1: tells is the dad gonna stop?
- 28:46Speaker 9: Is he going to leave the woman alone? Pop came back?
- 28:50Speaker 1: Okay, I don't think so either. All right, thank you,
- 28:56Speaker 1: see daddy coming up at the top of the the
- 29:01Speaker 1: interview that I love so much, the interview with Steve
- 29:05Speaker 1: and Vice President Kamala Harris coming up. We're going to
- 29:08Speaker 1: run it back right after this. You're listening.
- 29:12Speaker 9: Morning show.
- 29:15Speaker 5: Hey, listen, everybody. I told you we'd have a special
- 29:18Speaker 5: guest today.
- 29:20Speaker 6: But I'm being joined right now, and I want you
- 29:22Speaker 6: to listen to me carefully by the only candidate that
- 29:26Speaker 6: has delivered some real progress for Americans and especially for
- 29:31Speaker 6: black Americans, and it's going to continue to do so
- 29:34Speaker 6: as the next president of the United States.
- 29:37Speaker 5: Now, listen to me.
- 29:38Speaker 6: There is no choice when it comes to fighting for
- 29:41Speaker 6: a new way forward, because we are not going back.
- 29:44Speaker 6: So today our special guest is the current Vice President
- 29:48Speaker 6: of the United States. But if everything goes right, and
- 29:51Speaker 6: we do our job, and we get to these polls
- 29:53Speaker 6: and we early vote, and we continue to take somebody
- 29:56Speaker 6: to the polls with us, we will be talking to
- 29:59Speaker 6: the next president the United States. Thanks and gentlemen, please
- 30:02Speaker 6: welcome Vice President Kamala Harris. Welcome back to the show.
- 30:06Speaker 4: Thank you, Steve Harvey. It's good to be back with you.
- 30:09Speaker 4: Thank you so very much.
- 30:10Speaker 5: You know something, this campaign is tough. I got to
- 30:14Speaker 5: tell you you. You're a tough lady. How's it going.
- 30:19Speaker 5: You look strong? Are you doing well all out there?
- 30:22Speaker 4: How are you feeling I'm feeling good. I have to
- 30:25Speaker 4: tell you, I've been traveling our country and I'm just
- 30:29Speaker 4: you know, there are so many good folks feed you
- 30:31Speaker 4: know this, who care about the future of our country,
- 30:35Speaker 4: who love our country, and who are determined to make
- 30:37Speaker 4: sure that they get folks to the polls. I've been,
- 30:41Speaker 4: you know, going to a lot of beautiful churches where
- 30:45Speaker 4: the pastors are leading souls to the polls. I've been
- 30:48Speaker 4: meeting with our young people who are first time voters
- 30:52Speaker 4: who are coming out in incredible numbers because they know
- 30:55Speaker 4: what to stakes for their future. But there's a whole
- 30:57Speaker 4: lot of optimism out there, and I think it's because
- 31:01Speaker 4: people understand, you know, there's a very big decision to
- 31:04Speaker 4: be made, but a huge contrast between Donald Trump and myself,
- 31:07Speaker 4: and I think people want to turn the page on
- 31:11Speaker 4: his era of divisiveness and fanning the flames of hate.
- 31:15Speaker 4: They want a new way forward. That's about optimism and
- 31:18Speaker 4: dare I say joy, But also I'm prepared to do
- 31:22Speaker 4: the hard work. That's about bringing down the cost to groceries,
- 31:24Speaker 4: bringing down the cost of housing, and focusing on the
- 31:27Speaker 4: needs of our small businesses and so much more.
- 31:31Speaker 6: You know, you said something here that people in this
- 31:35Speaker 6: election there's a choice between two different versions of the future.
- 31:40Speaker 6: And I'm telling you, I mean you look, if you
- 31:43Speaker 6: needed any more proof that that rally the other night
- 31:45Speaker 6: in Madison Square, God should gave you all the information
- 31:49Speaker 6: you needed to know about the real differences here.
- 31:52Speaker 5: You and Governor Walls are fighting for a new way forward.
- 31:56Speaker 6: You're talking about protecting reproductive freedom for women, for strengthening
- 32:01Speaker 6: our democracy, and you want every person to have an
- 32:04Speaker 6: opportunity to get ahead.
- 32:06Speaker 5: But let's focus on this that I've never seen done
- 32:10Speaker 5: and in my life.
- 32:11Speaker 6: You came up with a real plan to help Black
- 32:15Speaker 6: Americans specifically, you target specifically, you targeted African American men.
- 32:24Speaker 6: I've never seen that in that. Can you go over
- 32:26Speaker 6: some of the points. I don't want to put you
- 32:28Speaker 6: on the spot. Can you go over some of the
- 32:30Speaker 6: points that you've made for Black Americans.
- 32:34Speaker 4: So first of all, let me just tell you that
- 32:37Speaker 4: I understand that. Listen, I'm going to be and I've
- 32:40Speaker 4: pledged to be a president for all Americans, but not
- 32:43Speaker 4: all people have been affected by issues the same way. So,
- 32:47Speaker 4: for example, in my agenda for black men, it includes
- 32:51Speaker 4: what we need to do around having a specific initiative
- 32:54Speaker 4: that is about black men's health, because I know that
- 32:58Speaker 4: we have more high rates of calling cancer and prostate cancer,
- 33:03Speaker 4: and I want to make sure we're increasing education and
- 33:05Speaker 4: screening for black men doing understanding that sickle cell affects
- 33:10Speaker 4: black men at a higher rate. My approach is an
- 33:13Speaker 4: agenda that also includes focusing on small businesses. You know,
- 33:17Speaker 4: our small businesses range from the barbershop and a beauty
- 33:20Speaker 4: salon to tech companies to clean energy companies to construction companies,
- 33:25Speaker 4: and part of my focus is on making sure that
- 33:28Speaker 4: our entrepreneurs are small business owners have access to capital
- 33:32Speaker 4: because unlike Donald Trump, who was given four hundred million
- 33:36Speaker 4: dollars on a silver platter and then file for bankruptcy
- 33:39Speaker 4: six times, not everybody has access to the capital. But
- 33:42Speaker 4: they've got good ideas, they have a serious work ethic,
- 33:46Speaker 4: and they have a product or an idea that actually
- 33:49Speaker 4: benefits the community. So my work is about one making
- 33:53Speaker 4: sure that we have twenty thousand dollars for givable loans
- 33:57Speaker 4: for startup companies to be able to pay for the website.
- 34:01Speaker 4: Because you know, you can't just rely on your cousin
- 34:03Speaker 4: to set up your website, right. You need a good
- 34:05Speaker 4: website that opens your product up to market. The forgivable
- 34:11Speaker 4: loans includes if you want to start up a company
- 34:13Speaker 4: where you need products or you need equipment, and that's
- 34:16Speaker 4: the reason why you can't be successful, that I want
- 34:19Speaker 4: to eliminate that obstacle. My plan is about knowing that
- 34:22Speaker 4: black families are forty percent less likely to be homeowners,
- 34:26Speaker 4: So I'm going to make sure that we have twenty
- 34:29Speaker 4: five thousand dollars down payment assistance for first time home
- 34:33Speaker 4: buyers so they can just get their foot in the
- 34:35Speaker 4: door and get on the path to living the dream
- 34:39Speaker 4: of America, the American dream, which also is about being
- 34:43Speaker 4: on the path to creating intergenerational wealth. So my agenda
- 34:48Speaker 4: is it has a lot of ascets to it that
- 34:50Speaker 4: are everything from bringing down the cost of groceries to
- 34:53Speaker 4: bringing down the cost of housing, making homeownership within the
- 34:57Speaker 4: graph of the American people, but also thing on specific
- 35:01Speaker 4: issues that affect specific communities with a target of making
- 35:05Speaker 4: sure that we eliminate optacles to success and to wealth building.
- 35:09Speaker 5: I mean, it has been an amazing thing.
- 35:12Speaker 6: As I've done my research, you know, and I've really
- 35:14Speaker 6: really watched what you've been about and what you've done.
- 35:18Speaker 6: I became more and more impressed. So has a lot
- 35:20Speaker 6: of people, because it really came to the forefront, you know,
- 35:24Speaker 6: when a lot of people are talking, wow, I misunderstood
- 35:26Speaker 6: this about her, because now people have had a chance
- 35:29Speaker 6: to do the research. When you talk about black wealth
- 35:32Speaker 6: is up sixty percent before the pandemic, when you forgave
- 35:37Speaker 6: over one hundred and sixty seven billion in student loans,
- 35:40Speaker 6: you're fighting for more. We are going to show up
- 35:43Speaker 6: at these polls in numbers that's going to startle them.
- 35:47Speaker 6: And I want you to know that you have a
- 35:49Speaker 6: lot of support that people aren't talking about. Right there,
- 35:54Speaker 6: Man and Vice President. We'll be right back with more
- 35:56Speaker 6: of the Steve Harvey Morning Show right.
- 35:58Speaker 5: After this.
- 36:00Speaker 9: Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 36:03Speaker 5: We're back with the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 36:05Speaker 6: Our special guest this morning is Vice President Future President
- 36:10Speaker 6: Kamala Harris. And here's a big one that people overlook
- 36:14Speaker 6: sometimes over sixteen billion dollars in investments in HBCUs and
- 36:19Speaker 6: you're fighting the lord the costs of HBCUs and double
- 36:22Speaker 6: the value of pay all grants. This is stuff you
- 36:24Speaker 6: don't hear a lot of people talking about. But you've
- 36:27Speaker 6: been on these bills for years, and you've been fighting
- 36:32Speaker 6: for these types of progressive moves for all Americans, as
- 36:36Speaker 6: you say, but a lot of this affects black people specifically.
- 36:40Speaker 6: And I just wanted to say, I think that coming
- 36:43Speaker 6: out at this time has just been really, really beneficial
- 36:46Speaker 6: for your campaign.
- 36:47Speaker 4: Well, Steve, I have to tell you, I mean a
- 36:49Speaker 4: lot of my policies and priorities are based on personal experiences, right,
- 36:54Speaker 4: whether it be the importance of home ownership and knowing
- 36:58Speaker 4: how hard people work save up trying to be able
- 37:01Speaker 4: to buy a home for their family, and you know,
- 37:04Speaker 4: I saw my mother struggle to do that and she
- 37:06Speaker 4: finally did when I was a teenager. Or what I'm
- 37:09Speaker 4: going to do around making for medicare, help pay for
- 37:12Speaker 4: home health care for our seniors, knowing that you know,
- 37:16Speaker 4: there is a part of all cultures, and certainly ours,
- 37:20Speaker 4: that you take care of your elders. But we have
- 37:22Speaker 4: a lot of folks who live in the Sandwich generation
- 37:25Speaker 4: who are taking care of their young kids and their parents,
- 37:28Speaker 4: and they need help. My focus on HBCUs a lot
- 37:32Speaker 4: of it has to do with the fact that as
- 37:33Speaker 4: an HBC, a proud HBC you graduate, I know that
- 37:37Speaker 4: our HBCUs are centers of academic excellence but don't always
- 37:41Speaker 4: have the kind of resources that other colleges and universities have,
- 37:46Speaker 4: and they need that kind of support, So you're right,
- 37:49Speaker 4: I mean, or even the work that I've done on
- 37:51Speaker 4: black maternal mortality, which affects not only women but the
- 37:56Speaker 4: men who love them that their their husbands, their sons,
- 38:00Speaker 4: their fathers. So these are areas of work for me,
- 38:03Speaker 4: as you said, that has been long spanning. It's not
- 38:06Speaker 4: just because I'm running for president. My whole focus on
- 38:09Speaker 4: black men and opportunity around financial opportunity was long before
- 38:14Speaker 4: I started running for president. It's a lifelong commitment.
- 38:17Speaker 6: You know. And also especially in the battleground states, You've
- 38:21Speaker 6: been doing these men huddle up events across the battleground states. Yeah,
- 38:25Speaker 6: and this really shows a commitment to address specific needs
- 38:28Speaker 6: of black men.
- 38:30Speaker 4: That's right. Well, Listen, I know how folks have been overlooked,
- 38:35Speaker 4: and I'm very proud of what we've done over the
- 38:38Speaker 4: last four years to bring down black unemployment to historic loans.
- 38:44Speaker 4: But you know, I also understand and know that it
- 38:49Speaker 4: should be a baseline that everybody's working and has a job.
- 38:53Speaker 4: What people also wanted the opportunity to create wealth. People
- 38:57Speaker 4: want the opportunity to be able to go on vacation
- 38:59Speaker 4: for time to time and by their kids, you know,
- 39:02Speaker 4: the kinds of Christmas gifts that they want.
- 39:05Speaker 5: Okay, hey, let's stop for just one second.
- 39:08Speaker 6: We got to take a quick break, and we'll be
- 39:10Speaker 6: right back with more of the President of the United States,
- 39:14Speaker 6: which I'll be saying that next week.
- 39:16Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening.
- 39:20Speaker 6: Morning show, We're back in our special guests this morning,
- 39:24Speaker 6: as you very well know, is the current Vice president
- 39:27Speaker 6: of the United States. We're gonna continue our conversation here.
- 39:31Speaker 6: We'll pick up where we left off. You know, you
- 39:34Speaker 6: spoke about uplifting people and and and that leads me
- 39:37Speaker 6: to this right here, your opponent, Donald Trump to me,
- 39:43Speaker 6: I've seen it, and I've been on my radio show
- 39:47Speaker 6: preaching it over and over and over. He has been
- 39:50Speaker 6: a complete failure for Black America. And he's running a
- 39:54Speaker 6: racist campaign with a racist agenda that will give him
- 39:58Speaker 6: unprecedented power for roll back all of our rights and freedoms.
- 40:02Speaker 6: It's gonna hurt the middle class, gonna threaten our democracy.
- 40:05Speaker 6: If the Trump Vance Project twenty twenty five agenda will
- 40:09Speaker 6: be a complete disaster for Black America, what do you
- 40:15Speaker 6: say to that, Well.
- 40:17Speaker 4: You're right, and anybody listening should go and google Project
- 40:20Speaker 4: twenty twenty five. They will eliminate the Department of Education
- 40:25Speaker 4: and head start. They will make it more difficult for
- 40:29Speaker 4: workers to get over time pay. And that's on top
- 40:33Speaker 4: of what he will do to get rid of medicare,
- 40:38Speaker 4: get rid of the ability of medicare, to negotiate drug
- 40:42Speaker 4: prices against the big pharmaceutical company get rid of us.
- 40:46Speaker 4: Look at Project twenty twenty five. It will get rid
- 40:48Speaker 4: of the thirty five dollars a month tap on insulin
- 40:52Speaker 4: for our seniors. Black folks are sixty percent more likely
- 40:54Speaker 4: to be diagnosed with diabetes. To your point, Steve, it
- 40:58Speaker 4: is a This is an election of consequence. And on
- 41:03Speaker 4: the one side, you've got Donald Trump, whose policies are
- 41:06Speaker 4: not about lifting up hard working people. You've got Donald
- 41:09Speaker 4: Trump who, way back from the beginning of his career
- 41:12Speaker 4: when he was a landlord, refused to rent to black families,
- 41:16Speaker 4: who took out a full page ad in the New
- 41:19Speaker 4: York Times calling for the execution of five young Black
- 41:24Speaker 4: and Latino children who were innocent the Central Park five.
- 41:29Speaker 4: Somebody who called the first black president of the United
- 41:31Speaker 4: States called him out and claimed he was not born
- 41:35Speaker 4: in the United States birtherism, and then most recently, as
- 41:38Speaker 4: it relates to legal black immigrants in Ohio, said they
- 41:43Speaker 4: were eating their pets. This is who he is. And
- 41:47Speaker 4: I think folks know, when you look at his character,
- 41:49Speaker 4: you got to understand, you know, it is one thing
- 41:52Speaker 4: for him to have his name on a building in Vegas.
- 41:55Speaker 4: There's a whole other thing to think about him having
- 41:58Speaker 4: the power of the president see to either lift people
- 42:01Speaker 4: up or push people down and tear people down. And
- 42:06Speaker 4: this is the choice that people have and and Steve
- 42:09Speaker 4: I would I would press this point also, I would
- 42:13Speaker 4: ask your listeners to just know that, you know, if
- 42:17Speaker 4: you are a hard work in person, if you have
- 42:19Speaker 4: aspirations and goals that you didn't inherit what you've got,
- 42:23Speaker 4: you got to know you're not really in Donald Trump's club, right,
- 42:28Speaker 4: He's not. He's not going to sleep at night thinking
- 42:31Speaker 4: about how he's going to take care of your grandmother
- 42:33Speaker 4: or grandfather. He's looking out for people like him. When
- 42:37Speaker 4: he was president, he pushed and accomplished tax cuts for
- 42:42Speaker 4: billionaires and big corporations. And as president again, if he
- 42:46Speaker 4: were elected, which you will not be, he would do
- 42:49Speaker 4: the same. So I asked people to look at who
- 42:52Speaker 4: do you believe is actually going to be there fighting
- 42:56Speaker 4: for you, And I think based on character and performance,
- 43:01Speaker 4: the choice is clear.
- 43:02Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 43:03Speaker 6: For us, you know, the choice is crystal clear. I've
- 43:05Speaker 6: been just pounding it daily daily on the radio show.
- 43:10Speaker 6: When you hear slogans like you know, blacks for Trump.
- 43:12Speaker 6: I've been asking people because I can't get a person
- 43:14Speaker 6: to call in to show me how Trump is for blacks.
- 43:18Speaker 6: I mean, I'm you can create any slogan you want to,
- 43:21Speaker 6: but let's back it up with something. I just the
- 43:23Speaker 6: facts are all in the the rally at Madison Square Garden.
- 43:28Speaker 7: Man.
- 43:28Speaker 6: I was just sitting there, man, just going this. I
- 43:32Speaker 6: watched the whole collage of statements. This is one of
- 43:35Speaker 6: the worst campaigns I've seen. And you are holding up
- 43:41Speaker 6: incredibly strong. You're in the last few days of this campaign.
- 43:45Speaker 4: This is the last week. It's November fifth. Who's November fifth?
- 43:51Speaker 5: What's this looking like for you, madam Vice President?
- 43:54Speaker 4: To win? Steve harbing and it's going to be because
- 44:00Speaker 4: people don't let themselves be silenced, and they will get
- 44:04Speaker 4: out and vote. And you know, we know our voices,
- 44:08Speaker 4: our vote, and our vote is our power.
- 44:10Speaker 6: Hold on one second, we'll be right back, everybody with
- 44:12Speaker 6: more Steve Harvey Morning Show right after this.
- 44:15Speaker 1: You're listening.
- 44:17Speaker 9: Morning Show.
- 44:18Speaker 5: All right, everybody, We're back in our special guest this morning.
- 44:21Speaker 6: As Vice President Kamala Harris are soon to be president
- 44:25Speaker 6: of the United States, Let's continue the conversation.
- 44:31Speaker 5: Not on vice president. I got to tell you something.
- 44:33Speaker 6: It has been a pleasure to represent you and to
- 44:38Speaker 6: stand up for you and to be able to stand
- 44:41Speaker 6: up for you based on so many facts.
- 44:44Speaker 5: I mean, just the quality of person you are. The
- 44:46Speaker 5: decision is real clear, and I mean for a lot
- 44:49Speaker 5: of us.
- 44:50Speaker 4: What I am saying as I travel the country is
- 44:53Speaker 4: that people refuse to be silent and then knock gonna
- 44:57Speaker 4: fall for the okie. Does people know the difference between
- 45:00Speaker 4: fact and fiction and who's going to actually be fighting
- 45:04Speaker 4: for them? And look, I am not perfect. I will
- 45:09Speaker 4: make mistakes, but I will work around the clock on
- 45:14Speaker 4: behalf of the people who deserve to be seen and
- 45:17Speaker 4: heard and uplifted. That is the work I have done
- 45:21Speaker 4: in my career. That is the work I will continue
- 45:23Speaker 4: to do. I've only had one client in my life,
- 45:25Speaker 4: to people, and that's who I fight for. And so
- 45:29Speaker 4: my agenda really is about an opportunity economy, that's about
- 45:34Speaker 4: helping to lift people up, but again also recognizing the
- 45:38Speaker 4: disparities that have existed. And we talked as an example
- 45:41Speaker 4: about home ownership as one point of reference, so you know,
- 45:46Speaker 4: or for example, my work on increasing access to capital
- 45:49Speaker 4: for small businesses is also based on an understanding and
- 45:52Speaker 4: knowledge that only one percent of venture capitalists investment go
- 45:57Speaker 4: to black owned businesses, right, so we have to recognize
- 46:01Speaker 4: where the disparity is it is and see how we
- 46:04Speaker 4: can create public policy in a way that takes those
- 46:07Speaker 4: into account.
- 46:09Speaker 5: Well.
- 46:10Speaker 6: And and I think there's going to be a surprise
- 46:12Speaker 6: next week because they haven't counted on really you know,
- 46:17Speaker 6: they never really poll us anyway, but they haven't counted
- 46:20Speaker 6: on really how bright of a people we are, and
- 46:23Speaker 6: how and and and and and how shrewd we can be.
- 46:27Speaker 5: And we proved it in the last election.
- 46:29Speaker 6: But we are going to show up at these polls
- 46:32Speaker 6: in numbers that's going to startle them. And I want
- 46:35Speaker 6: you to know that you have a lot of support
- 46:38Speaker 6: that that people aren't talking about. But you got some
- 46:41Speaker 6: people back here that's that's that's stomping strong for you
- 46:45Speaker 6: on these yards around here. And I also want you
- 46:48Speaker 6: to know this too. We know it's been tough for you,
- 46:51Speaker 6: and the spiritual people have been praying for you because
- 46:54Speaker 6: they they know what you're up against. So I just
- 46:56Speaker 6: wanted to give you that vote of encouragement and tell
- 46:59Speaker 6: you to keep keep up the good fight. You're a
- 47:02Speaker 6: wonderful candidate I couldn't be proud of. And you know
- 47:07Speaker 6: you're look look the way you handled him in the
- 47:10Speaker 6: first debate. This this, this is why there have been
- 47:12Speaker 6: no more debates because that please, no, they're not gonna
- 47:19Speaker 6: do that. You you exposed too much because the low
- 47:25Speaker 6: i Q statement. To even say that right there, it's
- 47:29Speaker 6: crazy to me because I was looking at it on TV.
- 47:33Speaker 5: So congratulations, and thank you.
- 47:37Speaker 4: For the time, and thank you for your voice and
- 47:39Speaker 4: your leadership always and the Prince sip, thank you.
- 47:42Speaker 5: Hey, We're gonna get you through it, all right, all right,
- 47:47Speaker 5: all right for sure, ladies.
- 47:48Speaker 6: And gentlemen, the future president of the United States, President Kamala.
- 47:53Speaker 5: Harris gonna sound good. Might as well say it.
- 47:55Speaker 1: Now, president right talking drop the fight, cut vote, Wow, Steve,
- 48:06Speaker 1: great interview, great interview, how stagging, how really great?
- 48:14Speaker 12: You know, Noam said, I mean, you know, you know,
- 48:23Speaker 12: I wanted her to understand that she has told a
- 48:26Speaker 12: lot of support.
- 48:28Speaker 5: You know, she said in the beginning, you know, we're
- 48:31Speaker 5: going to win next week.
- 48:34Speaker 6: And I just was saying, you know, if we get out,
- 48:36Speaker 6: we do our job and we go to the polls
- 48:38Speaker 6: and we take people to the polls. You know, that
- 48:40Speaker 6: we we can we can win this thing right here.
- 48:43Speaker 6: And we talked about how clear of a choice it was.
- 48:46Speaker 6: It wasn't one of the talking points, but I bought
- 48:49Speaker 6: up the Republican uh, the Trump rally at Madison Courre Garden.
- 48:54Speaker 5: It clearly showed you who they really are. I was,
- 49:00Speaker 5: I was, I was stunned. Man. I was the level.
- 49:10Speaker 1: And she's the polar opposite of that.
- 49:14Speaker 6: And you know what, I was surprised Doctor Field said
- 49:18Speaker 6: some stuff because I watched this entire interview because I've
- 49:21Speaker 6: known this guy. You know, We've been out on vacations
- 49:25Speaker 6: and run up in each other, and I like this guy.
- 49:29Speaker 6: And I was surprised at him saying Donald Trump is
- 49:33Speaker 6: here because he's here because Donald Trump is not a bully.
- 49:36Speaker 4: But what is I mean?
- 49:40Speaker 6: And his description of what makes a person a bully
- 49:44Speaker 6: was a description of Donald Trump. He was saying that
- 49:46Speaker 6: a person's not a bully if you don't have a
- 49:50Speaker 6: come from a position of power.
- 49:52Speaker 5: That's all he uses is the threat of his power
- 49:56Speaker 5: to push people around.
- 49:58Speaker 6: And then he said, so evities shouldn't be endorsed in
- 50:03Speaker 6: stuff because they don't know nothing about policy, and they
- 50:05Speaker 6: don't know nothing about the issues, he said, And why
- 50:10Speaker 6: am I up here? Because I was thinking the exact
- 50:12Speaker 6: same thing.
- 50:13Speaker 5: He says. Well, because at least I'm willing to admit
- 50:17Speaker 5: we don't know. No, man, that's not true.
- 50:19Speaker 6: Okay, if celebrities don't know nothing about issues and policy,
- 50:23Speaker 6: what does the common voter know?
- 50:25Speaker 5: We all are talking about our vote.
- 50:28Speaker 6: And doctor Phield said, you know, I don't agree with
- 50:31Speaker 6: everything anybody says. Nobody agrees with it. Why are you uphill?
- 50:36Speaker 11: Man?
- 50:36Speaker 9: Yeah, it's what I kept.
- 50:38Speaker 6: Saying, if you were counterbalancing everything you say. And then
- 50:41Speaker 6: I watched doctor Phield because I know him. He was
- 50:44Speaker 6: drinking water as soon as he got out there.
- 50:46Speaker 5: He was nervous.
- 50:48Speaker 6: He had that bottle of water. You've never seen doctor
- 50:51Speaker 6: Field take sip water on his shelf.
- 50:52Speaker 5: That's value.
- 50:55Speaker 1: His appearance shocked a lot of people, though, Doctor.
- 50:57Speaker 5: Phil I was very shocked.
- 50:59Speaker 11: Yeah, because it wasn't necessary, like you up there if
- 51:04Speaker 11: you don't really agree with it.
- 51:06Speaker 5: This is not your guy like that, This is you
- 51:10Speaker 5: don't agree with everything he says.
- 51:12Speaker 6: You're up there because he's not a bully, and you
- 51:15Speaker 6: do your description of a bully described him, And then
- 51:19Speaker 6: you said celebrities don't know issues and all policy, Okay,
- 51:25Speaker 6: and he.
- 51:26Speaker 1: Said it's insulted.
- 51:28Speaker 11: The vice president of the United States called her names,
- 51:32Speaker 11: insulted her all of these things.
- 51:34Speaker 10: That's definitely apparently doctor Field has never been bullied before.
- 51:38Speaker 5: Because he just don't know what.
- 51:42Speaker 4: I was.
- 51:45Speaker 5: Yes, I was really that I was. I was surprised.
- 51:49Speaker 1: A lot of people were surprised about his appearance there. Anyway,
- 51:55Speaker 1: back on message, Steve, your interview was great with the
- 51:58Speaker 1: Vice president. Congratulatesips on that, and if we do our part,
- 52:02Speaker 1: she will be our next president for sure. She is
- 52:06Speaker 1: working so hard. Oh she is so proud for it,
- 52:10Speaker 1: and she's she does it so joyously, you know, with joy.
- 52:15Speaker 1: I just love her serving the people. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 52:20Speaker 1: Election day is tomorrow. Please get to the polls if
- 52:23Speaker 1: you have not voted already a lot of people have
- 52:26Speaker 1: early voted. But if you haven't, go early. Have some
- 52:29Speaker 1: kind of plan, you know, for tomorrow's for the lines
- 52:33Speaker 1: and all of that.
- 52:34Speaker 5: Just go and vote.
- 52:36Speaker 1: That's the most important thing you can do tomorrow, all right,
- 52:39Speaker 1: Go vote, vote, vote, vote. Moving on, coming up next,
- 52:43Speaker 1: it's my Strawberry letter for today and the subject is
- 52:46Speaker 1: what have you done?
- 52:47Speaker 3: For me lately.
- 52:48Speaker 1: We'll get into that right after this. You're listening.
- 52:52Speaker 9: Morning show.
- 52:53Speaker 1: It is time now for today's Strawberry Letter, and if
- 52:56Speaker 1: you need advice on relationships, work, sex, parenting, and more,
- 53:00Speaker 1: please submit your Strawberry Letter to Steve HAARVIFM dot com
- 53:03Speaker 1: and click submit Strawberry Letter. We could be reading your
- 53:07Speaker 1: letter live on the air, just like we're going to
- 53:09Speaker 1: read this one right here, right now, and you never know,
- 53:12Speaker 1: it could be yours.
- 53:15Speaker 7: It could be yours. Buckle up and hold on tight.
- 53:17Speaker 7: We got it for you here. It is Strawberry LETTA thank.
- 53:20Speaker 1: You nephew, subject, what have you done for me lately?
- 53:26Speaker 1: Dear Stephen Shirley, I'm married to a forty one year
- 53:28Speaker 1: old bum that sits around all day doing nothing. My
- 53:33Speaker 1: husband retired from the military and his goal is to
- 53:36Speaker 1: be a house husband. Our daughter is in her first
- 53:39Speaker 1: year of college, so we're empty nesters. My husband's retirement
- 53:43Speaker 1: check is great, but he can be doing so much more.
- 53:47Speaker 1: His cousin has retired too, and he has a lawn
- 53:50Speaker 1: care business. My uncle retired from the electure company. He
- 53:54Speaker 1: started a whole new career. My husband does not understand
- 53:58Speaker 1: that he's able bodied, meaning he can do a lot
- 54:01Speaker 1: of things to generate extra income. He is satisfied with
- 54:06Speaker 1: what we have now and the little trips we take
- 54:09Speaker 1: here and there. I told him to think bigger, and
- 54:12Speaker 1: he can't. Christmas is coming up, and I'm tired of
- 54:15Speaker 1: the tiny pieces of jewelry he gets me every year.
- 54:18Speaker 1: I would love to get our daughter a new car,
- 54:21Speaker 1: but he always asks what's wrong with the one she has.
- 54:24Speaker 7: Now.
- 54:25Speaker 1: He does keep the house clean, and he will pick
- 54:27Speaker 1: up dinner, but that's it. Then he comes to bed
- 54:31Speaker 1: expecting me to perform for him on demand after I've
- 54:34Speaker 1: worked all day. I told him I want the finer
- 54:37Speaker 1: things in life at some point, and he thinks I
- 54:39Speaker 1: want us to live beyond our means, but that's not it.
- 54:42Speaker 1: I just want us to be in a position where
- 54:45Speaker 1: I can shop and get nice things without stress. I
- 54:48Speaker 1: told him, if we have another mediocre Christmas, he's going
- 54:51Speaker 1: to have big problems on his hand. Have a big
- 54:54Speaker 1: problem on his hands. He does nothing for me but
- 54:57Speaker 1: exist in the house with me. He used to dream
- 55:01Speaker 1: about having nicer things, and now he's okay with the
- 55:03Speaker 1: raggedy recliner he sits in daily. What type of man
- 55:07Speaker 1: doesn't have a vision or want more for his family.
- 55:10Speaker 1: I keep asking him what has he done for me lately?
- 55:13Speaker 1: But he doesn't get it. Well, one thing for sure
- 55:18Speaker 1: is you can't make him do anything. He's got to
- 55:21Speaker 1: want to do it, and I think you know that.
- 55:24Speaker 1: And right now his only goal, you say, is to
- 55:26Speaker 1: be a house husband. Well, you don't want a house husband,
- 55:30Speaker 1: although you do appreciate him keeping the house clean and
- 55:33Speaker 1: bringing home dinner when he does. But he retired at
- 55:37Speaker 1: such a young age that you would think, yes, that
- 55:39Speaker 1: he'd have some other goals and aspirations. And there are
- 55:44Speaker 1: some people who don't want to do anything once they
- 55:46Speaker 1: stop working at first, but that usually gets old and
- 55:51Speaker 1: and tired and boring, and so they do start doing
- 55:53Speaker 1: something else to pass the time or to make money.
- 55:56Speaker 1: And maybe he's still processing it all. I can see
- 56:00Speaker 1: him wanting to take a little time off after he
- 56:02Speaker 1: got out of the military. You know, it takes time
- 56:04Speaker 1: to readjust to civilian life and all that. Get used
- 56:07Speaker 1: to not having to get up and go to work
- 56:09Speaker 1: every day. But I don't get just sitting around doing
- 56:12Speaker 1: nothing every day for an extended period of time, especially
- 56:15Speaker 1: if you're only forty one years old.
- 56:17Speaker 9: I mean, so, is this just a.
- 56:19Speaker 1: Temporary thing while he figures things out or is this
- 56:23Speaker 1: a forever situation. That's what you got to think about.
- 56:26Speaker 1: If it's forever, that will definitely continue to be a
- 56:29Speaker 1: problem for you because you are not happy with what's
- 56:32Speaker 1: going on, and one thing you're doing is comparing him
- 56:35Speaker 1: to what everybody else is doing. He's got to be
- 56:38Speaker 1: who he is. You guys need to talk, try to
- 56:40Speaker 1: fix this. If it's fixable, surely he has other things
- 56:43Speaker 1: that he wants to do in life eventually, so you
- 56:46Speaker 1: got to communicate. I don't think this is going to
- 56:48Speaker 1: be an easy conversation, but it's necessary for the sake
- 56:51Speaker 1: of your marriage.
- 56:52Speaker 6: Steve, he all won't do. You're asking somebody to be
- 56:56Speaker 6: something that they don't want to be. You're saying what
- 56:59Speaker 6: he has done? Is he done for me lately? So
- 57:01Speaker 6: here's a deal. He's forty one years old. You say
- 57:05Speaker 6: he's a bum and he sits around all day doing nothing.
- 57:08Speaker 5: That's what you say.
- 57:10Speaker 6: My husband retired from the military and his goal is
- 57:16Speaker 6: to be a house husband.
- 57:20Speaker 9: Tada.
- 57:22Speaker 6: See, so far, this guy, in his mind has set
- 57:28Speaker 6: goals and accomplished all of them. He retired from the military,
- 57:35Speaker 6: and you said it best. His goal is to be
- 57:38Speaker 6: a house husband. He did whatever was necessary to retire
- 57:42Speaker 6: from the military, accomplished, checked the box, graduated from high school,
- 57:48Speaker 6: checked the box, completed all the tasks required by the
- 57:52Speaker 6: United States Military. Checked the block, completed the task, got
- 57:58Speaker 6: a great retirement check which you says, he does.
- 58:02Speaker 5: Check the block. And now he wants to be a
- 58:05Speaker 5: house husband, and he doing it. Check the block. That's
- 58:10Speaker 5: your whole problem.
- 58:12Speaker 6: He feels as though he's accomplishing everything he set out
- 58:16Speaker 6: to do. Now there's a saying that say, comparison is
- 58:19Speaker 6: the thief. It's the greatest thief of joy. Comparison is
- 58:23Speaker 6: the greatest thief of joy. You all can't enjoy your
- 58:28Speaker 6: retirement because you're comparing him to everybody else's retirement. Shirley said,
- 58:35Speaker 6: well he's not everybody else. Well who is he then?
- 58:39Speaker 6: And that's what you got to take a hard look at.
- 58:42Speaker 6: To retire at forty one and expect to sit around
- 58:46Speaker 6: and do nothing from now on. That's a hard one
- 58:50Speaker 6: to swallow for a woman. I know it is, especially
- 58:53Speaker 6: when you still going out going to work every day
- 58:56Speaker 6: and you keep getting these thin lood tiny bracelets for Christmas,
- 59:01Speaker 6: the one to be on the table at Walmart in
- 59:04Speaker 6: the middle of the floor. Dude, you get two three
- 59:08Speaker 6: for one and all this here it real thin. Ain't
- 59:12Speaker 6: got no charm on it than nothing. You don't even
- 59:16Speaker 6: know if it's a chain. It looked like a thread.
- 59:19Speaker 6: When you put your jewelry on, it looked like you
- 59:21Speaker 6: wearing lint. You got a sewing thread bracelet on. That's
- 59:29Speaker 6: how thie in yours is.
- 59:30Speaker 5: I don't know. I probably not gonna gave help you later.
- 59:33Speaker 1: Hang on, Steve, we'll have part two of your response
- 59:36Speaker 1: coming up at twenty three minutes after the hour of
- 59:39Speaker 1: the subject of today's Strawberry Letter, what have you done
- 59:41Speaker 1: for Me Lately? We'll get back into it right after this.
- 59:45Speaker 1: You're listening Morning show, All right, Come on, Steve, let's
- 59:49Speaker 1: recap today's strawberry letter, the subject what have you done
- 59:52Speaker 1: for me lately?
- 59:53Speaker 6: You know this lady says that she's married to a
- 59:56Speaker 6: forty one year old bum that sits around all day
- 59:58Speaker 6: doing nothing.
- 1:00:00Speaker 5: From the military. His goal is to be a house husband.
- 1:00:04Speaker 6: Our daughter is in her first year of college, so
- 1:00:06Speaker 6: we'll empty nestis my husband retirement check is great, but
- 1:00:13Speaker 6: he could do so much more. His cousin retired too.
- 1:00:16Speaker 6: He got a lawn care business. My uncle retired from
- 1:00:19Speaker 6: the electric company. He started a whole new career. My
- 1:00:22Speaker 6: husband that does not understand that he's able body, meaning
- 1:00:26Speaker 6: he can do a lot of things to generate the
- 1:00:28Speaker 6: extra income. See me, if I'm getting some money from
- 1:00:32Speaker 6: somewhere that's coming steady a retirement check me personally, I'm
- 1:00:38Speaker 6: gonna go out and do something else that I've always
- 1:00:40Speaker 6: wanted to do to generate some more income. I mean,
- 1:00:46Speaker 6: most people think, man, I got this money coming free
- 1:00:49Speaker 6: and clear. Man, let me go out and see what
- 1:00:52Speaker 6: else I can add to the power. You would think
- 1:00:54Speaker 6: he wanted to do that, But that's not who you
- 1:00:56Speaker 6: married to.
- 1:00:58Speaker 5: And I kind of feel bad for you. He's satisfied
- 1:01:01Speaker 5: with what we have now. That's complacent.
- 1:01:05Speaker 6: Once you're comfortable, comfort is one of the main killers
- 1:01:11Speaker 6: of progress.
- 1:01:13Speaker 5: Comfort.
- 1:01:14Speaker 6: He's comfortable where we are now and the little trips
- 1:01:19Speaker 6: we take here and now, he comfortable with that.
- 1:01:22Speaker 5: I told him to think bigger, and he can't. Wow.
- 1:01:26Speaker 5: And the Bible says clearly a man is as.
- 1:01:29Speaker 6: He thinketh So if he can't think bigger, well you
- 1:01:35Speaker 6: gonna stay married to Mickey Mouse, then that's all.
- 1:01:40Speaker 5: Ain't nothing wrong with it.
- 1:01:41Speaker 6: He like having him big ears and four fingers and
- 1:01:44Speaker 6: big ass shoes on, got that little suit on.
- 1:01:48Speaker 5: All the kids love him.
- 1:01:51Speaker 6: I'm not gonna maybe help you, lady. I'm trying to
- 1:01:53Speaker 6: figure out something to say about this. And Christmas is
- 1:01:55Speaker 6: coming and you tie the tiny pieces of jewelry he
- 1:01:58Speaker 6: gets you every year. I would love to get i
- 1:02:00Speaker 6: daugh a new car, but he always asked, what's wrong
- 1:02:02Speaker 6: with the one she got? Now that's a real question.
- 1:02:05Speaker 6: But you know he don't want nothing.
- 1:02:08Speaker 9: He's only forty one too.
- 1:02:10Speaker 6: He does keep the house clean and he'll pick up dinner,
- 1:02:13Speaker 6: but that's it. Then he come to bed expecting me
- 1:02:16Speaker 6: to perform for him on demand. That's that military ted Hut,
- 1:02:20Speaker 6: come on, get up in his line up fall in.
- 1:02:24Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:02:27Speaker 6: I told him I want to find the things in life.
- 1:02:29Speaker 6: At some point he thinks I wanna live beyond our means. No,
- 1:02:33Speaker 6: that means you have to go out and help get
- 1:02:35Speaker 6: the finer things in life. But you ask him to
- 1:02:38Speaker 6: think bigger and he can't. If we have another mediocre Christmas,
- 1:02:42Speaker 6: he's gonna have a big problem. That's what I told him.
- 1:02:45Speaker 6: If we have another mediocre Christmas, we're gonna have a
- 1:02:48Speaker 6: big problem. He does nothing for me but exist in
- 1:02:51Speaker 6: the house with me. We used to dream about having
- 1:02:54Speaker 6: nicer things, and now he's okay with the raggedy recliner
- 1:02:57Speaker 6: he sits in daily. What type of man doesn't have
- 1:03:00Speaker 6: a vision and want more for his family? Well, the
- 1:03:02Speaker 6: one you married. You don't need to look no further
- 1:03:07Speaker 6: for who that dude is he in your house? He
- 1:03:09Speaker 6: and that recliner?
- 1:03:10Speaker 5: He forty one man.
- 1:03:13Speaker 6: I don't get that, bro, and life gonna come up
- 1:03:17Speaker 6: on you quick. The Bible also says a man without
- 1:03:21Speaker 6: a dream of vision shall perish. So you're gonna sit
- 1:03:24Speaker 6: there with away man. I've seen it happen to a
- 1:03:27Speaker 6: lot of people. I keep asking him what has he
- 1:03:30Speaker 6: done for me lately? But he don't get it. Well,
- 1:03:33Speaker 6: if you're asking him what he did for you lately,
- 1:03:36Speaker 6: he would. You just said he keep house clean, You
- 1:03:40Speaker 6: just said he bring dinner home. You just said his
- 1:03:44Speaker 6: military check is great. He thinking he didn't done enough. Well,
- 1:03:50Speaker 6: you're not happy? Sureley said it best. Y'all need to
- 1:03:53Speaker 6: sit down. This is gonna be a difficult conversation. The
- 1:03:56Speaker 6: only suggestion I could give to you is you're gonna
- 1:03:58Speaker 6: have to hurt it. Yeah, you're gonna have to say,
- 1:04:03Speaker 6: you know what. I really thought you were a better
- 1:04:06Speaker 6: man than this. Oh well, let me retray you say that.
- 1:04:13Speaker 6: I think you need to say, you know what. I
- 1:04:17Speaker 6: just want to tell you how disappointed I am, and
- 1:04:20Speaker 6: then remind him of what he used to do. I
- 1:04:22Speaker 6: remember when you used to dream of having nicer things,
- 1:04:24Speaker 6: better things, bigger things. That's who I was married to,
- 1:04:28Speaker 6: and I thought that's what we were gonna do. And
- 1:04:31Speaker 6: it's absolutely surprising and shocking me that you have settled
- 1:04:35Speaker 6: into this life and you don't want anything more. And
- 1:04:39Speaker 6: I want to tell you something that has really hurt
- 1:04:42Speaker 6: me because I see other people flourishing and I know
- 1:04:46Speaker 6: I'm not going to be able to do that. And
- 1:04:48Speaker 6: I know you think I want to live beyond our means.
- 1:04:51Speaker 5: I don't. I just want to create some old means,
- 1:04:54Speaker 5: that's all. And I thought it was with you, but
- 1:04:58Speaker 5: I guess it's not. What am I to do? What
- 1:05:02Speaker 5: am I to do?
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: That's good?
- 1:05:04Speaker 6: Steve, Well, I guess I'll just sit here and watch
- 1:05:06Speaker 6: everybody else live. They wonderful lives and get.
- 1:05:08Speaker 9: Him Christmas coming out?
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: What about the daughter with this?
- 1:05:13Speaker 6: Are you gonna give me that same Are you gonna
- 1:05:15Speaker 6: give me that same little bee necklace?
- 1:05:17Speaker 5: You always.
- 1:05:19Speaker 9: I don't want to.
- 1:05:22Speaker 5: Get like that.
- 1:05:26Speaker 6: Then you're gonna you're gonna let the baby keep driving
- 1:05:28Speaker 6: this ragged ass car. The baby don't yeah, you know,
- 1:05:33Speaker 6: you know, she in college and she got this raggedy car,
- 1:05:37Speaker 6: and we keep putting money into a repairing and we
- 1:05:39Speaker 6: could just get a new you don't. I guess you
- 1:05:41Speaker 6: don't want that, though. I just keep driving this ragged
- 1:05:48Speaker 6: ass car to the church and let the people look.
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: All right, you can count.
- 1:05:52Speaker 5: Out this Easter dress I had on last Easter.

- 1:10:39Speaker 6: this narcissist to ever give a concession speech. You will
- 1:10:44Speaker 6: get him to never have a peaceful transition of power.
- 1:10:48Speaker 6: They're already talking about if they lose what they gonna do,
- 1:10:51Speaker 6: it's finna be just a mess. But I do not
- 1:10:55Speaker 6: see how they are going to let this man destroy
- 1:10:58Speaker 6: the democratic process, because if he can get all of
- 1:11:02Speaker 6: these stupid people again to think that this election was stolen,
- 1:11:07Speaker 6: he's gonna mess around to succeed in getting something done.
- 1:11:10Speaker 6: But man, we were not having it. We're gonna have

- 1:11:17Speaker 6: Harris as the President of the United States, and uh,
- 1:11:21Speaker 6: that's gonna be it on that now, January sixth. They've said,
- 1:11:25Speaker 6: They've already promised January sixth will be interesting. They've already
- 1:11:31Speaker 6: said that again. I'm telling y'all, man, this this is craziness.
- 1:11:36Speaker 6: This is sheer craziness to set up and let one man,
- 1:11:40Speaker 6: because he's a narcissist, attempt to destroy the democratic process
- 1:11:46Speaker 6: but here was really crazy.
- 1:11:49Speaker 5: Y'all.
- 1:11:49Speaker 6: Fore fathers wrote this constitution, these your forefathers, and y'all
- 1:11:54Speaker 6: gonna let be cause the last name and wasn't Trump
- 1:11:57Speaker 6: as one of the forefathers get rid of that has
- 1:12:01Speaker 6: been working for this country for all these years. Man,
- 1:12:05Speaker 6: y'all y'all special, y'all special to let this happen. But
- 1:12:10Speaker 6: we have a say so tomorrow, y'all, we have a

- 1:12:44Speaker 5: They didn't really poll us.
- 1:12:47Speaker 6: They after us, but they ain't gonna take care of us.
- 1:12:50Speaker 6: That's what's really crazy. Yeah, And what's really saddening is
- 1:12:57Speaker 6: ninety percent of these Trumpsters are not gonna get taken
- 1:13:01Speaker 6: care of even now. If Trump were to win, you
- 1:13:06Speaker 6: find to find out, ain't none of his policies for you?
- 1:13:09Speaker 5: Hey, man? Do you know that they are secretly trying
- 1:13:11Speaker 5: to get rid of.
- 1:13:12Speaker 6: The Affordable Healthcare Act, Yeah, which was labeled Obamacare. Do
- 1:13:16Speaker 6: you know that that's one of that little big secrets
- 1:13:18Speaker 6: that they gonna get rid of overbook health Care Act?
- 1:13:22Speaker 6: Watch what happens to how many people lose healthcare if
- 1:13:27Speaker 6: he gets in office.
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: But they still don't have a plan like you said
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: of the debate, they have a concept or whatever.
- 1:13:35Speaker 5: He has a plan as a dictator to get in here.
- 1:13:38Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:13:38Speaker 5: Everything he can put a pin too. As soon as
- 1:13:40Speaker 5: he get in he gonna do it.
- 1:13:42Speaker 11: No, he wants to get rid of the Department of Education.
- 1:13:46Speaker 11: He's already working on women's reproductive rights to get rid
- 1:13:49Speaker 11: of that. We see that all already, Social Security, people's retirement,
- 1:13:54Speaker 11: all of this.

- 1:18:26Speaker 5: It looks slimy.
- 1:18:31Speaker 6: I've never had to put most stuff in one cake
- 1:18:34Speaker 6: that don't nobody want the green.

- 1:19:08Speaker 1: Coming up next to our last break of the day
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: and We'll close out the show with the one and
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: only Steve Harvey right after this.
- 1:19:15Speaker 5: You're bad about the.
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: You're listening.
- 1:19:22Speaker 9: Morning show?
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: All right, guys, here we are our last break of
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: the day. On this Monday, the day before election day, Steve,
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: you interviewed the VP. I mean, she's done everything humanly
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: possible to win this thing. Everything. Is there anything that
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: you can possibly think of that was left out on
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: this election day? It's up to us?
- 1:19:51Speaker 6: Yeah that what more does a person have to do
- 1:19:54Speaker 6: to prove their worthiness and they fitness to whole office?
- 1:19:58Speaker 6: And what more can a person and show you how
- 1:20:01Speaker 6: many reasons can a person give you that they not
- 1:20:03Speaker 6: fit for office before you look at any one of
- 1:20:06Speaker 6: them and believe it. I like this one lady I
- 1:20:09Speaker 6: saw who has voted Republican her whole life. She said,
- 1:20:13Speaker 6: this is the first time I'm voting Democratic. I've always
- 1:20:16Speaker 6: been a conservative, but I just cannot vote for a
- 1:20:21Speaker 6: person who does not share any of.
- 1:20:24Speaker 5: My moral views.
- 1:20:26Speaker 6: He is just an immoral, unkind person and he's tried
- 1:20:32Speaker 6: to hijack our democracy and I can't vote for that.
- 1:20:37Speaker 6: I am telling you, man, there are more people like
- 1:20:41Speaker 6: her than we know who have been Republican their whole life,
- 1:20:46Speaker 6: and just looking at this guy, going this is just
- 1:20:48Speaker 6: not a decent guy. It's some people who actually see
- 1:20:51Speaker 6: what he's doing, right, that imitating sex on a microphone,
- 1:20:59Speaker 6: the statements he's made that man, did you and then
- 1:21:03Speaker 6: he tried to justify that. Did you see the love
- 1:21:06Speaker 6: at Madison Square Garden? Have you ever seen that much love? Now?
- 1:21:13Speaker 5: You miss.
- 1:21:16Speaker 6: Bruh, You really need to find out what love is.
- 1:21:18Speaker 6: You see he thinks. Let me tell you what Donald
- 1:21:21Speaker 6: Trump thinks. He thinks if you are for him in
- 1:21:26Speaker 6: any way, that that's love, regardless as to what you
- 1:21:31Speaker 6: say about other people, regardless as to the pain you
- 1:21:35Speaker 6: CAUs other people, If you're saying it to the benefit
- 1:21:39Speaker 6: of him, he considers that love.
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: That's messed up.
- 1:21:44Speaker 5: It really is. That's crazy.
- 1:21:47Speaker 6: So you set up and let all them people go
- 1:21:50Speaker 6: out there and the one black guy at the rally
- 1:21:55Speaker 6: that they never showed.
- 1:21:57Speaker 5: Did anybody see a picture of him?
- 1:22:00Speaker 4: M I did.
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: I can't think of the watermelon insult.
- 1:22:04Speaker 5: Yeah you're talking about that guy?
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: Oh, oh, are you talking about that?
- 1:22:07Speaker 4: No?
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: I didn't see it.
- 1:22:08Speaker 5: I just saw that. I haven't seen a picture of him. Yeah,
- 1:22:12Speaker 5: he had something on his head. What is it, Tommy?
- 1:22:16Speaker 7: This is so stupid to where it makes me think
- 1:22:21Speaker 7: he's deliberately trying to lose I just feel like he
- 1:22:23Speaker 7: that stupid, Like you just know the stuff that you're doing.
- 1:22:27Speaker 5: It's so stupid. It's like Tommy, Tommy, he can't help it.
- 1:22:33Speaker 5: He can't.
- 1:22:34Speaker 6: He's just being himself and he can't even hide it.
- 1:22:38Speaker 6: And he talks so much that it comes out.
- 1:22:43Speaker 5: I mean, he doesn't. He doesn't understand the art of trickery.
- 1:22:48Speaker 5: People show who they are, believe it right.
- 1:22:51Speaker 6: Oh, he has run a campaign field with nothing but divisiveness, hatred, racism,
- 1:22:59Speaker 6: and and those are the things that people they in
- 1:23:04Speaker 6: this world today, they gravitate towards that. So if he
- 1:23:10Speaker 6: can get you on hatred, racism, and fear, then it's
- 1:23:15Speaker 6: easy to overlook all of the stuff he's done because
- 1:23:20Speaker 6: he's made the conditions of the country worse than him.
- 1:23:25Speaker 6: So now you're trying to look at what he's saying
- 1:23:28Speaker 6: is wrong with the country, and you won't even look
- 1:23:30Speaker 6: at what's wrong with him. He has done a masterful
- 1:23:35Speaker 6: job of deceiving the American public. The stupidity is is
- 1:23:40Speaker 6: they sit there and they clap.
- 1:23:42Speaker 4: For this.
- 1:23:44Speaker 7: A.
- 1:23:45Speaker 6: When he was doing that gesture with that microphone. Man,
- 1:23:48Speaker 6: I was sitting there going, is this dude for real?
- 1:23:52Speaker 6: There are women here, there are children here, and he's
- 1:23:56Speaker 6: doing it anyway. That's a person who's just he's inconsiderate.
- 1:24:01Speaker 6: It's just all about him. He thinks he's funny when
- 1:24:04Speaker 6: he's not. You know, he makes stuff that you just
- 1:24:07Speaker 6: go and look like. I didn't really get ticked off
- 1:24:10Speaker 6: about the comment he made about my beautiful white skin.
- 1:24:15Speaker 5: You know, love who you are. I'm cool with that.
- 1:24:17Speaker 6: I'm black and I'm proud. I don't care for a
- 1:24:19Speaker 6: person say I love my white skin. I don't care
- 1:24:22Speaker 6: about that. But he said, free to say. But but
- 1:24:27Speaker 6: if you understand what he was saying, that's the scary
- 1:24:31Speaker 6: part when he says that's the scary part when he
- 1:24:36Speaker 6: says it, because what he's saying back there is it's
- 1:24:41Speaker 6: more of a power play than anything else. But I
- 1:24:47Speaker 6: didn't care because that's little compared to what he's been
- 1:24:50Speaker 6: saying and all the people he put up at that
- 1:24:54Speaker 6: rally in New York. Man, if that didn't change your mind,
- 1:24:58Speaker 6: if that didn't show you who he was, listen, listen
- 1:25:01Speaker 6: to me the people that go out on that stage
- 1:25:04Speaker 6: were picked to go on that stage. Yeah, nobody was
- 1:25:09Speaker 6: up there by accident. Strategically, that was a plan period.
- 1:25:15Speaker 6: Doctor Phil, my buddy included. That was crazy, man. I
- 1:25:19Speaker 6: was just sitting there looking at Philly going wild and
- 1:25:21Speaker 6: to sit up and just try to say, I'm here
- 1:25:24Speaker 6: to just tell you he's not a bully. And you
- 1:25:26Speaker 6: gave the definition of bully and you described him. I
- 1:25:30Speaker 6: was going down, Phil, but he was nervous.
- 1:25:33Speaker 5: Man.
- 1:25:33Speaker 6: He started drinking water as soon as he got there.
- 1:25:35Speaker 6: You been when you watched his show for twenty five years,
- 1:25:38Speaker 6: you ever seen him drink water?
- 1:25:39Speaker 5: Not one time?
- 1:25:41Speaker 11: I mean, I don't pay attention to him like that.
- 1:25:43Speaker 11: I mean, I think the concern he was there, why
- 1:25:46Speaker 11: were you there?
- 1:25:48Speaker 5: So that means.
- 1:25:51Speaker 3: Is that how you feel?
- 1:25:53Speaker 9: You know?
- 1:25:54Speaker 6: Hey, y'all, let's get to the polls. It's go time.
