- 2:01Speaker 5: Uh huh, I sure will.
- 2:03Speaker 2: Good morning everybody.
- 2:04Speaker 7: You are listening to the voice, Come on, dig me now,
- 2:07Speaker 7: one and only Steve Harvey got a radio show. Well,
- 2:13Speaker 7: I got to tell you something everybody, And this is
- 2:16Speaker 7: great news for everybody that I'm going to share something
- 2:20Speaker 7: with your principal of becoming successful at whatever level you choose.
- 2:28Speaker 7: It can be successful in the relationship, successful in the family.
- 2:33Speaker 7: Successes may be considered to you becoming a homeowner. It
- 2:37Speaker 7: could be being debt free. Your ideal success could be
- 2:43Speaker 7: sixty thousand a year, fifty thousand a year, one hundred
- 2:46Speaker 7: thousand dollars a year.
- 2:47Speaker 2: Doesn't matter.
- 2:49Speaker 7: If you're considering it, if you're wanting it, if you
- 2:53Speaker 7: have a desire to become successful. I want to share
- 2:57Speaker 7: with you the very beginning of that. If no one's
- 3:01Speaker 7: ever done it, I'm gonna say the beginning of it today.
- 3:04Speaker 7: See scripture makes it very clear for us you don't
- 3:13Speaker 7: The only thing you need to become successful is already
- 3:16Speaker 7: inside of you. It's not an external need. God wouldn't
- 3:21Speaker 7: do that to you. He puts the core basis of
- 3:25Speaker 7: everything you need inside of you. So if you discover it,
- 3:32Speaker 7: if you tend to it, nurture it, fertilize it, and
- 3:36Speaker 7: water it, it grows, it branches out. Then it reaches
- 3:41Speaker 7: out externally and it starts grabbing things outside of there
- 3:44Speaker 7: to make it even bigger, stronger, better, last longer. But
- 3:48Speaker 7: in the very beginning, you don't need anything. It's all
- 3:52Speaker 7: within you. And if you cultivate your relationship with God,
- 3:57Speaker 7: it comes out, it flourishes. Now, let me tell you
- 4:02Speaker 7: that thing that I'm talking about is a God given
- 4:05Speaker 7: gift that He has given to all of us.
- 4:07Speaker 2: We all possess it. It is all within us. Everybody
- 4:12Speaker 2: has a gift.
- 4:14Speaker 7: Had somebody told me what I know now back then,
- 4:18Speaker 7: I would have saved myself tons of mistakes.
- 4:20Speaker 2: I just didn't know the principles. I had to learn
- 4:21Speaker 2: them all well.
- 4:23Speaker 7: One of the principles are becoming successful is your mindset.
- 4:27Speaker 7: You got to get your mind right now. This mindset
- 4:34Speaker 7: is simply a decision that you can make. I can't
- 4:37Speaker 7: get it for you. I can tell you what to do,
- 4:41Speaker 7: but you got to make the decision. You that's listening,
- 4:44Speaker 7: have to decide. You know what, I'm gonna go on
- 4:46Speaker 7: and get at it. I'm gonna stop wrinting. I'm gonna
- 4:48Speaker 7: become a homeowner. You know what, I'm gonna do it.
- 4:50Speaker 7: I'm gonna stop living check to check imama, I'm gonna
- 4:54Speaker 7: put a budget together. I'm gonna stop stepping out on
- 4:59Speaker 7: my family. I'm gonna go home. I'm gonna get it together.
- 5:02Speaker 7: I'm gonna stop using when you make these decisions. That's
- 5:07Speaker 7: correcting your mindset.
- 5:09Speaker 2: Now.
- 5:09Speaker 7: The closer connection you have with God, the more help
- 5:12Speaker 7: you get sustaining the mindset. How many times have you
- 5:15Speaker 7: started to do something and you stopped? How many resolutions
- 5:19Speaker 7: have you made at the New.
- 5:20Speaker 2: Year and stopped? By February?
- 5:23Speaker 8: Over with?
- 5:23Speaker 9: By me?
- 5:24Speaker 2: January? Done in March?
- 5:27Speaker 7: Because if you don't have a clear connection with your
- 5:31Speaker 7: creator to help you carry out the other force out there,
- 5:35Speaker 7: that evil force is designed to get you not to
- 5:38Speaker 7: reach your goals, get you not to come.
- 5:41Speaker 2: To resolution with whatever the resolutions are you.
- 5:43Speaker 7: Made, so he can so you can consider yourself not
- 5:47Speaker 7: worthy or failure or unable to do something. But the
- 5:51Speaker 7: more things you are able to accomplish, the greater your
- 5:54Speaker 7: confidence goals grows. So we got to get your mindset together.
- 5:58Speaker 7: Your mindset is a decision that you you have to make.
- 6:00Speaker 7: When you make the decision, you can begin in the process.
- 6:04Speaker 7: Your mindset is also a will of yours, a will
- 6:08Speaker 7: along with the decision, A will, a willingness to do right,
- 6:14Speaker 7: a willingness to change, a willingness.
- 6:18Speaker 2: To be better.
- 6:19Speaker 7: Is going to then cause you to have to make
- 6:23Speaker 7: a decision to make a change of direction. Don't go
- 6:27Speaker 7: where everybody else going. You got to go your way. Now,
- 6:30Speaker 7: you can't follow the crowd. You got to take a
- 6:32Speaker 7: less travel path. You cannot do this without changing your direction.
- 6:38Speaker 7: You can't keep hanging with the people you've been hanging
- 6:40Speaker 7: with if you want to be different, because they not.
- 6:44Speaker 7: Then you have to develop an obligation to yourself. You've
- 6:49Speaker 7: got to say, you know what for me and my family,
- 6:53Speaker 7: or if you don't have a family for me, I
- 6:55Speaker 7: owe it to myself. I have an obligation to myself
- 6:58Speaker 7: to be the best mean that I can possibly be,
- 7:02Speaker 7: to be the best self that I can possibly be,
- 7:06Speaker 7: to be the best father, the best man, the best husband,
- 7:10Speaker 7: the best wife, the best mother, the best daughter, the
- 7:14Speaker 7: best son, the best student, the best employee, the best owner.
- 7:18Speaker 5: You have an.
- 7:19Speaker 7: Obligation to yourself to give yourself a shot at the best.
- 7:24Speaker 2: Life you can.
- 7:25Speaker 7: That's an obligation. You owe that to yourself. Why would
- 7:29Speaker 7: you not live the best life that you possibly could.
- 7:32Speaker 7: You have an obligation to yourself. Why would you cheat
- 7:35Speaker 7: yourself like that? Why would you take yourself and never
- 7:39Speaker 7: allow yourself to see the goodness that's already in you,
- 7:44Speaker 7: to have the abundance that's been promised to you, to
- 7:47Speaker 7: go and explore all.
- 7:50Speaker 2: The riches out there that's available to you.
- 7:55Speaker 7: But one of the worst ways that you can rob
- 7:59Speaker 7: yourself of the joy of your obligation is to keep
- 8:02Speaker 7: comparing yourself to somebody else. Because guess what, Man, that
- 8:05Speaker 7: ain't your life. You ain't Jay Z and Beyonce, you're
- 8:11Speaker 7: not Oprah. Instead, man, that's not who you are. Quit
- 8:15Speaker 7: looking around at everybody else that comparison of everybody else
- 8:19Speaker 7: will keep you broken, It'll keep you unhappy.
- 8:22Speaker 2: You won't even be.
- 8:23Speaker 7: Able to be grateful for what you have because you
- 8:25Speaker 7: steady talking about what you don't have. That's not the way, man.
- 8:29Speaker 7: You have an obligation to yourself to be the best
- 8:32Speaker 7: you you can be, not the best them.
- 8:35Speaker 2: You're not them. Stop trying to be them. Be the
- 8:38Speaker 2: best you. It's cool. You got a nice little house.
- 8:42Speaker 2: That's cool.
- 8:42Speaker 7: You know how many big houses is empty and feel
- 8:45Speaker 7: with hate and resentment. I'd rather have a smaller house
- 8:50Speaker 7: fill with joy in it than to go to a
- 8:52Speaker 7: big house. Man. Prince got a line in a song
- 8:55Speaker 7: that says, I realized, in its best disguised or pretty.
- 9:00Speaker 2: House don't make a home.
- 9:03Speaker 7: Man.
- 9:04Speaker 2: Don't you know I know how true that is? So
- 9:07Speaker 2: I'm just trying to tell you now. Another part of the.
- 9:12Speaker 7: Mindset is taking dead aim at your life's goals and ambitions.
- 9:18Speaker 2: What are they? What are your goals and your visions?
- 9:22Speaker 2: What do you see for yourself? What do you dream about?
- 9:26Speaker 7: If you knew you couldn't fail at whatever it is
- 9:28Speaker 7: you were attempting, what would you go attempt see? That's
- 9:31Speaker 7: what we need to be after it's a mindset, y'all.
- 9:35Speaker 7: It's a decision. It's a will, it's a change of direction.
- 9:39Speaker 7: It's an obligation to yourself. It's taking dead aim at
- 9:43Speaker 7: your life's visions and goals. Come on, man, you got
- 9:46Speaker 7: to get your mind wrapped around this thing. You owe
- 9:49Speaker 7: it to yourself to live the best life you can be.
- 9:52Speaker 7: Come on, man, talk to God. God got something for you.
- 9:54Speaker 7: You just got to check in with him.

- 14:38Speaker 12: How you doing? My name is brother spring water Man. Listen.
- 14:41Speaker 12: We uh we we got paid to actually come by
- 14:44Speaker 12: and do some services to for for you by some
- 14:48Speaker 12: friends of yours and we wanted to actually call and
- 14:50Speaker 12: see about scheduling and see what you had available.
- 14:54Speaker 13: Uh, some services.
- 14:57Speaker 14: What y'all plan on cuchon grand which I do? What
- 15:00Speaker 14: kind of services you have?
- 15:02Speaker 12: Actually, sir, you've got some friends that have actually spent
- 15:05Speaker 12: a great amount of money on you. And what we
- 15:07Speaker 12: do is we have a Baptismal on Wheels survey. And
- 15:13Speaker 12: what we do is we go and we we baptize
- 15:16Speaker 12: people at their home. And Baptism on Wheels has been
- 15:20Speaker 12: a new company, but we've we've baptized over a thousand people.
- 15:24Speaker 12: Now we have a truck which actually has a baptismal
- 15:28Speaker 12: pool on the back of it, and we actually come
- 15:30Speaker 12: to your home and we will baptize you in your
- 15:34Speaker 12: driveway and and make you hold again.
- 15:37Speaker 8: So we.
- 15:39Speaker 14: Brother water, Brother, what's again?
- 15:42Speaker 5: Sorry?
- 15:42Speaker 12: Springwater? Springwater?
- 15:44Speaker 14: What you want to come to my house and give
- 15:46Speaker 14: me a baptism in my front yard?
- 15:48Speaker 12: We want to baptize you right there in your drive
- 15:50Speaker 12: where your friends are paid for the services. And my friend, what.
- 15:53Speaker 14: Friend will pay for me to get baptized?
- 15:55Speaker 13: I've been baptized already.
- 15:57Speaker 12: Well, from my understanding, sir, that but then that you
- 16:00Speaker 12: you had some some bumps and bruises and and and
- 16:03Speaker 12: they seem to believe that you need to be Washington
- 16:06Speaker 12: coming again.
- 16:07Speaker 14: I mean, that's all good, that's all.
- 16:08Speaker 15: That's all.
- 16:09Speaker 5: It's all good.
- 16:09Speaker 14: But I mean things are I mean things be that
- 16:12Speaker 14: that it made man. I mean, I've been baptized, I
- 16:14Speaker 14: go to church. You know, me and the Lord don't
- 16:17Speaker 14: have no problems. I mean, we all have setbacks. But
- 16:20Speaker 14: for you to pull up with your pool in front
- 16:22Speaker 14: of my house to say you finah baptized me, that
- 16:25Speaker 14: that doesn't make any sense to me.
- 16:26Speaker 12: I mean, succeed sir. Sometimes when some people are not
- 16:29Speaker 12: able to go to the House of the Lord and
- 16:31Speaker 12: get baptized. You know, we're making a lot more convenient
- 16:35Speaker 12: for you, but we cannot.
- 16:36Speaker 16: Don't need no convenience.
- 16:38Speaker 14: I don't need no convenience.
- 16:40Speaker 17: What I need convenience for you asking me to come
- 16:43Speaker 17: to my house on a Tuesday to baptize me in
- 16:47Speaker 17: my driveway? Does that make any sense to you? Brother Water.
- 16:51Speaker 17: I mean, come on, if you really sit back and
- 16:53Speaker 17: think about it, does that make any sense to you?
- 16:56Speaker 12: The first of all, So that that's that's that's brother Spring, water.
- 17:01Speaker 12: But what I'm trying to what I'm trying to say, the.
- 17:03Speaker 17: Water is holding water, spring water. It doesn't make no
- 17:07Speaker 17: difference to me. You can't come to my neighborhood and
- 17:10Speaker 17: baptize me in front of mine, Sir?
- 17:13Speaker 18: What is all that?
- 17:14Speaker 5: This is?
- 17:14Speaker 12: This is what your friends are talking about that you.
- 17:17Speaker 17: Don't give my prayers are telling you? Man, anybody which
- 17:21Speaker 17: which one of my prayers Donna recommend you to come
- 17:23Speaker 17: to my mouth? So I my and my.
- 17:28Speaker 14: Let's make that don't even make any sense to me.
- 17:29Speaker 17: You understand, I'm.
- 17:31Speaker 12: Not at any liberty to tell you who actually between the.
- 17:35Speaker 17: Liberty because of my house that baptize me, But you
- 17:37Speaker 17: can't tell me who the hell?
- 17:39Speaker 12: Go see you? But you're not.
- 17:41Speaker 17: Come on, you don't even come on that that makes
- 17:43Speaker 17: sense to you? God, Come on, that doesn't make any
- 17:46Speaker 17: no way an the world. I'm going to allow you
- 17:47Speaker 17: to come and bring your froom in front of my
- 17:50Speaker 17: house and baptize me. Then I'm asking you ask and
- 17:53Speaker 17: you you're supposed to be a pastor, you're supposed to
- 17:55Speaker 17: be baptized. I'm asking you, Okay, what's friend of mine
- 17:58Speaker 17: is sending you there?
- 17:59Speaker 12: You know?
- 17:59Speaker 17: Letting you know I need to be got you will
- 18:01Speaker 17: sell you got that liberty.
- 18:02Speaker 12: Sir, all I wanted to know. Basically, I've already been paid.
- 18:06Speaker 12: I'm coming in. I don't want to ask you a
- 18:08Speaker 12: char gradule.
- 18:09Speaker 17: Now I'm baptizing me.
- 18:11Speaker 8: I have that time.
- 18:12Speaker 12: I'm going to baptize you on Tuesday in your driveway.
- 18:15Speaker 17: Now, I'll tell you what. If you come to my
- 18:18Speaker 17: house in front of my driveway, you better bring the
- 18:20Speaker 17: old congregation. You understand. You better bring the deacons, the brothers,
- 18:24Speaker 17: the sisters and everybody else. If you think I'm gonna
- 18:27Speaker 17: be backtizing life.
- 18:28Speaker 12: This is the problem. This is what some friends are
- 18:30Speaker 12: talking about. This is why you need to be baptized
- 18:32Speaker 12: and cleansed again and washed in the blood of the lamp.
- 18:35Speaker 12: This is what's wrong.
- 18:36Speaker 4: You need to be cleansed.
- 18:38Speaker 12: That's what's wrong with you, mister Wilton.

- 22:43Speaker 11: was dating a guy for about two weeks when he
- 22:45Speaker 11: asked if I'm down for to have a threesome. I
- 22:48Speaker 11: told him it would be my first time, but I
- 22:51Speaker 11: try it. He said I was too inexperienced for him,
- 22:54Speaker 11: and he dumped me. Should I lie about my bedroom skills?
- 23:00Speaker 12: What not? What? So? So?
- 23:03Speaker 2: So excuse me, Sweetish.
- 23:06Speaker 7: Your whole concern is he dumped you because he told
- 23:11Speaker 7: you you wasn't ready and you lacked skills experience, So
- 23:15Speaker 7: now experience? What do you understand what his whole purpose
- 23:20Speaker 7: for talking to you was? And you want to you
- 23:24Speaker 7: want to know if you should have hung on to
- 23:26Speaker 7: that are you? Are you all so desperate to want
- 23:30Speaker 7: to be accepted by somebody that you would stoop today
- 23:35Speaker 7: beckoning car it's two weeks you'll even notice. Man, all
- 23:38Speaker 7: he want is a threesome. He don't want him, want
- 23:40Speaker 7: a family, He don't want a future. He don't want
- 23:43Speaker 7: to know your dreams, your visions. He don't want to
- 23:45Speaker 7: care for you, care about you?
- 23:47Speaker 5: Man?
- 23:48Speaker 2: What what is wrong with y'all?
- 23:51Speaker 12: That?
- 23:51Speaker 8: Lady?
- 23:51Speaker 7: And I got news for you that ain't normal and
- 23:54Speaker 7: please stop writing me with all these irregular situations and
- 24:00Speaker 7: then put it in a letter in the form of
- 24:03Speaker 7: like it's normalized. Yeah, yeah, stop normalizing this crazy man.
- 24:08Speaker 7: Two dogs five is crazy.
- 24:11Speaker 1: It's too much. Yeah, I don't want to be in
- 24:13Speaker 1: it no more, say that minute.
- 24:17Speaker 8: So yeah.
- 24:17Speaker 1: Her her question is should she have lied about her
- 24:20Speaker 1: bedroom skills?
- 24:21Speaker 11: That's the total when you get in there, you ain't
- 24:25Speaker 11: gonna have none, right, Yeah?
- 24:29Speaker 1: Come on? Oh well I'm.
- 24:31Speaker 2: Okay, okay, So what was you gonna say? Would you
- 24:33Speaker 2: be down for threesome?
- 24:34Speaker 5: Well?
- 24:35Speaker 7: I've never done it, but I've tried it, you know,
- 24:38Speaker 7: I've never had three. I've been in a couple of orgies,
- 24:41Speaker 7: but I ain't never been in the threesome before. It
- 24:43Speaker 7: was like sitting people in that.
- 24:44Speaker 2: Yeah. So now so now that's what.
- 24:47Speaker 5: You want to.
- 24:49Speaker 1: That would be the lie she would have told.
- 24:51Speaker 7: Yeah, yeah, cause the only way to sound really ready
- 24:55Speaker 7: is you got to be molding three.
- 24:59Speaker 1: She got still all kinds of skills. Yeah, this is yeah.
- 25:04Speaker 11: Please stop, all right, We're gonna move on to Tiffany
- 25:07Speaker 11: and Detroit. Tiffany writes, on my birthday, my husband came
- 25:11Speaker 11: home late with the birthday cake and flowers from the
- 25:14Speaker 11: grocery store. He said he had a long day and
- 25:17Speaker 11: my birthday slipped his mind. He said he was sorry.
- 25:21Speaker 11: Should I be grateful he remembered or is he wrong?
- 25:25Speaker 7: Well, here's the problem. Because you wrote us this letter.
- 25:30Speaker 7: It tells us you mad anyway. Yeah, Now the stupid
- 25:37Speaker 7: part is him saying it slipped his mind. Oh yeah, man,
- 25:44Speaker 7: I'd have came in there late with them flowers. Yeah,
- 25:47Speaker 7: he say it slipped his mind. Yeah, he said that,
- 25:50Speaker 7: And I'm sorry because he stopped and he got it,
- 25:53Speaker 7: got a little cake and some stove flowers.
- 25:55Speaker 2: What he should have came in and said, baby early
- 25:59Speaker 2: to day.
- 26:00Speaker 7: I was on my way to pick up the cake
- 26:02Speaker 7: that I had ordered for your birthday last week and
- 26:05Speaker 7: it was ready, but they called me and told me
- 26:08Speaker 7: I was on the way Russian because I was late
- 26:10Speaker 7: for work, and I was Russian, and I was I
- 26:14Speaker 7: was almost in a coccident because a lady called and
- 26:17Speaker 7: said the cake had been damaged.
- 26:20Speaker 2: So I went dog and then I was at work
- 26:23Speaker 2: and I was so sick about it I fainted.
- 26:26Speaker 7: So I went down to the UH infirmary at the
- 26:29Speaker 7: job and when I came to it was it was yeah,
- 26:34Speaker 7: I was down in the army and I was down there,
- 26:38Speaker 7: and I was down there till seven o'clock. And when
- 26:41Speaker 7: I came to, I took the ivy out my arm
- 26:43Speaker 7: because they were just trying to put some you know,
- 26:45Speaker 7: vitamins in my arm. So I took it out and said,
- 26:47Speaker 7: this is my wife's birthday. I got to get to
- 26:49Speaker 7: this store and get her something. So here, happy birthday.
- 26:53Speaker 7: It started out as a good line, and then it
- 26:56Speaker 7: was haft, we got confirmary. Yeah, that's what you got do, dogs,
- 27:03Speaker 7: You got to put sickness in here, see, and then
- 27:07Speaker 7: the kate got damaged. Beautiful. That means you gave it
- 27:10Speaker 7: four throw knowing good and well you had forgot her birthday,
- 27:14Speaker 7: but you had given it fore thought.
- 27:16Speaker 1: Okay, well there's still time he can make up, you
- 27:19Speaker 1: can stick. Yeah, well I'm still accepting gifts, all right. Yeah,
- 27:25Speaker 1: my birthday was in July.
- 27:27Speaker 10: People are like when I told fiftieth birthday, like a
- 27:29Speaker 10: forty seventh or something, wouldn't.
- 27:32Speaker 1: The number doesn't matter.
- 27:34Speaker 2: All of them is the same.
- 27:36Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 27:36Speaker 2: See, that's why you're in trouble now, all right.
- 27:41Speaker 11: Moving on to Barbara in Albany, Albany, Barbara Wrights. I
- 27:46Speaker 11: thought the couple above me were fighting, so I went
- 27:49Speaker 11: upstairs to check on the lady. The next day, the
- 27:52Speaker 11: lady said they were having sex and she looked fine.
- 27:55Speaker 11: But I don't believe her. What could he have possibly
- 27:58Speaker 11: done to her to make all that noise?
- 28:02Speaker 7: See right now? Yeah, see right there. See you ain't
- 28:05Speaker 7: see you like that first letter we had. You ain't
- 28:08Speaker 7: that experience. It's it's it's some furniture movie going on
- 28:12Speaker 7: to really really in there getting active in that you
- 28:17Speaker 7: think you you think they leaving the building. I'll be
- 28:20Speaker 7: in this sometime. I done left a room. Let me
- 28:23Speaker 7: think something to you. I done left a hotel room
- 28:25Speaker 7: and had to pay damages.
- 28:28Speaker 1: You understand.
- 28:29Speaker 7: It's just depending, you know, especially in them older rooms,
- 28:32Speaker 7: you know where the air condition be right up under
- 28:35Speaker 7: the window and the control buttons is on it.
- 28:38Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know.
- 28:39Speaker 7: I done left a room where I've had to replace
- 28:42Speaker 7: the mount on the TV, you know where they had
- 28:44Speaker 7: a little swivel on it where the TV turned. I've
- 28:46Speaker 7: had to pay for a TV mount. I've had to
- 28:49Speaker 7: pay for curtains in the room that had come down.
- 28:52Speaker 7: What I had to now, I'm just telling you that's
- 28:55Speaker 7: what That's what was happening upstairs. Yeah, yeah, I had.
- 28:59Speaker 7: I done had to replace a shower curtain and the rod.
- 29:02Speaker 12: Uh.
- 29:02Speaker 7: I had to replace a faucet handle, and I had
- 29:11Speaker 7: I had to replace a crack uh toilet bowl, a
- 29:17Speaker 7: crack toilet bowl because I had broke the seat.
- 29:20Speaker 2: I had my foot on it.
- 29:22Speaker 7: I had my foot on it, and we're doing something
- 29:24Speaker 7: and I had to pay for a cracked toilet bowl.
- 29:27Speaker 1: So you know, yeah, I can carry Yeah.
- 29:31Speaker 7: Well, I'm just saying, you know, what could they have
- 29:34Speaker 7: been doing up there? You don't even understand what was
- 29:38Speaker 7: Probably it could be anything, but let's let's let's all
- 29:43Speaker 7: your dude, stick your head in the door. When you
- 29:46Speaker 7: got through in this bathroom. So now you can't shower
- 29:49Speaker 7: or go to the bathroom. You don't tell everything you
- 29:52Speaker 7: can telling me I only had the room. It was
- 29:54Speaker 7: it was jeans motor, and I only had the room
- 29:56Speaker 7: for four hours. You where you.
- 30:02Speaker 2: Too much?
- 30:02Speaker 12: You know what?
- 30:03Speaker 1: Tell me stuck on? But she said, the lady opened
- 30:06Speaker 1: the door and she looking.
- 30:07Speaker 2: About a shower. We got to go home. We gotta go.
- 30:13Speaker 2: It was ten dollars for four hours of jeans moting.
- 30:15Speaker 11: Okay, all you c l O all rightwing up at
- 30:21Speaker 11: the time of the hour. The eighty five South Boys
- 30:24Speaker 11: are here. This Carlos Miller, Chico being in DC.
- 30:27Speaker 1: Young fly right after you're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 30:37Speaker 7: Alright, everybody else promised we got special guests this morning.
- 30:40Speaker 2: Listen.
- 30:41Speaker 7: At this point, they don't really need an introduction, So
- 30:44Speaker 7: just let me tell you something. They have accomplished something
- 30:49Speaker 7: that I thought would never ever be achieved in the
- 30:51Speaker 7: comedy business, because what they're doing right now I've never
- 30:56Speaker 7: seen done. The Kings of Comedy was the last group
- 30:59Speaker 7: of people who went out and had a hugely successful tour,
- 31:03Speaker 7: but they even took that up to the next level.
- 31:07Speaker 7: They started as an improv group. I have never seen
- 31:13Speaker 7: three men get on the stage, Carlos Ico. I ain't
- 31:17Speaker 7: never seen three men get on the stage and do
- 31:20Speaker 7: what they've done and have the level of success that
- 31:24Speaker 7: they've had. And they are doing Kings of Comedy crowd
- 31:28Speaker 7: numbers in a way that I thought would never happen.
- 31:32Speaker 7: So I have to tip my hat to these legendary
- 31:35Speaker 7: young cats who are doing something that I thought would
- 31:38Speaker 7: never be done. They are the reigning version two point
- 31:43Speaker 7: zero of the Kings of Comedy.
- 31:45Speaker 5: Lady and Gentlemen.
- 31:48Speaker 2: Eighty five South.
- 31:59Speaker 15: To know, right, Yeah, man, he give us that when
- 32:02Speaker 15: I thought it would be done.
- 32:14Speaker 7: Un President, Hey, we got Cheeko, we got Carlos, and
- 32:19Speaker 7: we got DC fly.
- 32:20Speaker 2: How your brother's doing man the Morning?
- 32:23Speaker 15: The Morning?
- 32:26Speaker 5: Yeah man, right.
- 32:27Speaker 7: Let me tell you about this little food d C.
- 32:29Speaker 7: He was on a celebrity family few and the show
- 32:33Speaker 7: was kind of starting late. So when I was backstage,
- 32:36Speaker 7: they was micing me up. Now they all of the
- 32:39Speaker 7: two teens is out there. D C leaves the stage
- 32:42Speaker 7: and comes backstage to see me. While I'm getting miked up,
- 32:46Speaker 7: I was doing mouth washing all kind of stuff. I
- 32:48Speaker 7: had to spit out and hug, hug my little young
- 32:51Speaker 7: homie because boy, he just different.
- 32:53Speaker 2: This whole group is different.
- 32:55Speaker 5: Man.
- 32:56Speaker 1: I'm proud of y'all.
- 32:58Speaker 2: I think y'all.
- 32:59Speaker 7: Y'all, y'all got got it, man, and we here to
- 33:01Speaker 7: learn about this new is it seventeen cities we got
- 33:04Speaker 7: to the city tour.
- 33:07Speaker 2: Well, Tommy, Troit.
- 33:11Speaker 3: I take over all right, But listen, man, y'all beach mode.
- 33:14Speaker 3: Y'all know I'd have seen y'all and came out and
- 33:16Speaker 3: opened up for y'all when y'all came down here and
- 33:18Speaker 3: did uh house the Blue, House of Blues, House of Blues,
- 33:23Speaker 3: House the Blue. So y'all kicking off tomorrow in Detroit.
- 33:27Speaker 3: I know y'all excited to get back on stage. What
- 33:29Speaker 3: can they expect from eighty five South, Well.
- 33:32Speaker 8: You know they always expect the experience they never seen before.
- 33:35Speaker 8: But we always know that be bringing out a crowd
- 33:38Speaker 8: that rock with us, and we're bringing our new individuals
- 33:40Speaker 8: who ain't never saw this show before. And to be honest,
- 33:45Speaker 8: we're so anxious to get together to see what we
- 33:47Speaker 8: all been thinking while we ain't been with each other,
- 33:49Speaker 8: because people say we be with each other every day.
- 33:53Speaker 8: Go home, hell, bro, we're going on right then.
- 34:01Speaker 16: For sure, And these are these are places that we've been,
- 34:04Speaker 16: you know, So it's always great to be able to
- 34:06Speaker 16: see just how the crowd has evolved with us, you
- 34:09Speaker 16: know what I'm saying. So being able to come on
- 34:12Speaker 16: and go places that we've been before and do a
- 34:15Speaker 16: brand new show. Every show is different, and come out
- 34:18Speaker 16: and develop a new experience with these you know, some
- 34:21Speaker 16: of the same people, some new people. Is it's just
- 34:24Speaker 16: overall just something that I think everybody should want to
- 34:27Speaker 16: be a part of at least once or twice.
- 34:28Speaker 15: Or three times. Haven't many times we come see.
- 34:31Speaker 7: Hey man, the eighty five South audience, what what do
- 34:34Speaker 7: you all see when you're standing on stage? What do
- 34:37Speaker 7: you all see as the makeup? The overall makeup of
- 34:40Speaker 7: the eighty five South.
- 34:41Speaker 6: Audio It really varies on the city, old people, people,
- 34:47Speaker 6: may people, Puerto Ricans.
- 34:49Speaker 12: We so.
- 34:51Speaker 4: Very divert.
- 34:52Speaker 6: That's why we're able to get off so much different
- 34:54Speaker 6: kind of material.
- 34:56Speaker 15: It's so divert.
- 34:57Speaker 8: But I feel like everybody has got to come ground,
- 35:00Speaker 8: you know what I'm saying. I think that's kind of
- 35:02Speaker 8: like sums it up because if you even look at
- 35:05Speaker 8: the world today, this week. We go through so much
- 35:07Speaker 8: with everybody trying to say.
- 35:09Speaker 12: Race this, raise that, and we need this, they need that.
- 35:12Speaker 8: This belong the hours when you come to eighty five
- 35:14Speaker 8: so well it's black on black. But at the end
- 35:17Speaker 8: of the day, we treat everybody.
- 35:19Speaker 4: So equal that you ain't got no chill.
- 35:22Speaker 18: But the leaves like feeling a little of a fight.
- 35:25Speaker 8: Even though we were talking about you.

- 40:10Speaker 3: and y'all planning on do a movie, tell us about
- 40:12Speaker 3: that one.
- 40:13Speaker 8: He's just one of those productions. Then, you know what
- 40:15Speaker 8: I'm saying, we appreciate those g and Art Beef even.
- 40:17Speaker 8: You know what I'm saying, I want to partner and
- 40:18Speaker 8: partner with us and help us bring our vision to life,
- 40:21Speaker 8: you know what I mean. So, but for them to
- 40:23Speaker 8: even reach out and say, hey man, we don't want
- 40:25Speaker 8: to work with y'all, it's just letting us know, like
- 40:28Speaker 8: you know what, it's time for us to elevate to
- 40:29Speaker 8: the next level. And I think this is a great
- 40:32Speaker 8: partnership because you know, o G it's hard anybody want
- 40:35Speaker 8: to come partner with you and he'll bring your vision
- 40:38Speaker 8: to life. So just by then reach out saying.

- 41:09Speaker 1: Flag that Jam and Chico Be.
- 41:10Speaker 2: You have no idea what it is.
- 41:12Speaker 1: This is Carlos Miller and this may or may not
- 41:15Speaker 1: be the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening Steve Harvey
- 41:19Speaker 1: Morning Show.
- 41:24Speaker 7: All right, everybody, we're back and our special guest this
- 41:26Speaker 7: morning is legendary Trio eighty five South. And we've been
- 41:30Speaker 7: talking about this new deal they had with Kevin Hart
- 41:33Speaker 7: heart Productions. Tommy, you were saying it was a movie deal.
- 41:36Speaker 7: It's heart Beat Productions.
- 41:37Speaker 3: Yeah, they got basically, I got a movie deal or
- 41:39Speaker 3: a development deal with with Kevin Hart, which is big,
- 41:42Speaker 3: which is real big because everybody don't get there. So
- 41:44Speaker 3: I was asking him to expound on it and tell us,
- 41:46Speaker 3: y'all got an idea of what the movie is yet
- 41:49Speaker 3: we're working on this.
- 41:50Speaker 8: You know, we worked got it, We did got an idea,
- 41:52Speaker 8: we just wasn't working one to come to theaters to
- 41:54Speaker 8: see it, yea.
- 41:59Speaker 16: In a position to be able to have connections with
- 42:02Speaker 16: guys that, you know, giants in the game, you know,
- 42:05Speaker 16: to see us and see the potential that we have
- 42:07Speaker 16: to be able to keep elevating ourselves.
- 42:09Speaker 15: You know, some people like to see you where they
- 42:11Speaker 15: see you at. You know, people are okay with you
- 42:13Speaker 15: getting to.
- 42:14Speaker 16: A certain level, but once you get to that level,
- 42:16Speaker 16: they're like, yeah, man, good to see y'all to keep walking.
- 42:18Speaker 16: But so for us, it's an opportunity for us to
- 42:21Speaker 16: keep elevating, and once we keep elevating, we can help
- 42:24Speaker 16: others as well, you know, kind of like you know,
- 42:26Speaker 16: paying it forward.
- 42:26Speaker 15: So that's the way we're seeing it.
- 42:28Speaker 16: We're trying to put the best product out that's possible
- 42:30Speaker 16: so people can know that, you know, it's not just
- 42:32Speaker 16: something that we're doing just to be going, and we're
- 42:34Speaker 16: trying to elevate comedy and elevate the game along Wlay
- 42:37Speaker 16: as well.
- 42:38Speaker 3: Let me ask one more question. Okay, you know, y'all
- 42:41Speaker 3: know I've been doing comedy for Junior. You know, you
- 42:43Speaker 3: know unk is the o g it is. But y'all
- 42:47Speaker 3: doing something different than we ain't never done. When did
- 42:49Speaker 3: y'all know.
- 42:51Speaker 5: That this can work?
- 42:52Speaker 3: With three people on stated? When did it click saying
- 42:55Speaker 3: we got something this will work.
- 42:57Speaker 6: That actually clicked before we even hit the state to
- 43:00Speaker 6: get it was the chemistry in the studio before we
- 43:02Speaker 6: even get the live shows.
- 43:04Speaker 7: Hey man, but you know what it is for me
- 43:05Speaker 7: when I watch y'all, I didn't know it could be done.
- 43:08Speaker 7: The part that amazes me is you all have such
- 43:12Speaker 7: a chemistry that it looks like it was playing man.
- 43:17Speaker 7: Y'all break out in an improv song and all of
- 43:20Speaker 7: a sudden, y'all like, well, y'all do verses and then
- 43:24Speaker 7: you'll turn around and just spin on somebody. But you
- 43:28Speaker 7: all know how to let each other complete a sentence.
- 43:32Speaker 7: You very rarely step on top of each other. That
- 43:36Speaker 7: right there what really amazes me more than anything, because
- 43:40Speaker 7: the timing and then you all have the nerve to
- 43:45Speaker 7: actually throw the ollie oop to the other.
- 43:47Speaker 2: One so they condunk it. That that right there that
- 43:51Speaker 2: I ain't seen that nowhere.
- 43:53Speaker 8: You know, we fancy each other work and it only
- 43:57Speaker 8: works in that form of fashion. Nobody have the mindset
- 44:02Speaker 8: or when we go on stage, I'm trying to be
- 44:04Speaker 8: the funniest to Night, Well, i want.
- 44:05Speaker 12: The biggest joke. It's been playing night.
- 44:07Speaker 8: Calos had the biggest joke it's been playing to Night.
- 44:10Speaker 12: Chiko ahead the biggest joke.
- 44:11Speaker 8: It's all about it.
- 44:12Speaker 5: We have fun.
- 44:13Speaker 15: You see what I'm saying.
- 44:15Speaker 8: We want to go on stage and create a moment
- 44:18Speaker 8: for the people long as we having fun, like we're
- 44:22Speaker 8: really fans.
- 44:23Speaker 16: Call those fans.
- 44:24Speaker 8: I'm listening.
- 44:24Speaker 5: We listen.
- 44:26Speaker 8: I'm listening. If I'm saying some they listen. We're not
- 44:29Speaker 8: on that with egos, trying to figure out how can
- 44:32Speaker 8: we all individuals stand out.
- 44:34Speaker 15: You're feel what I'm saying.
- 44:35Speaker 16: And we all already do individual shows.
- 44:37Speaker 6: We got enough time for that.
- 44:39Speaker 18: You know, we all are.
- 44:40Speaker 16: Individuals or comedias on our own. So it would be
- 44:44Speaker 16: selfish of the brand that we've built come on stage
- 44:46Speaker 16: and try to be individuals on a stage that we
- 44:49Speaker 16: built together.
- 44:50Speaker 15: You know that's backwards, you know what I'm saying.
- 44:51Speaker 16: We all understand that this is something that we couldn't
- 44:55Speaker 16: even have imagined to go on stage and never have
- 44:58Speaker 16: practice and never have you know shit. All right, look
- 45:01Speaker 16: tonight we're doing this and it just come out. We
- 45:03Speaker 16: know that this or this God that's doing that. So
- 45:05Speaker 16: we ne's liking on God's work. Were gonna let God
- 45:08Speaker 16: work through us, mam, brothers.
- 45:10Speaker 7: I'm gonna tell you something I think that says it all,
- 45:12Speaker 7: man all, congratulations on everything. Man well said, well put,
- 45:16Speaker 7: people can now have a better understanding of how you.

- 56:42Speaker 5: It could be yours.

- 56:44Speaker 3: Here It is Strawberry letter, all.
- 56:47Speaker 11: Right, neph you, thank you. Subject his focus is on
- 56:51Speaker 11: other women. Dear Stephen Shirley, my husband shares far too
- 56:56Speaker 11: many of his thoughts with me, and it's messing with
- 56:58Speaker 11: my self esteem. He has a bad habit of commenting
- 57:02Speaker 11: on women's looks when we're out, and he uses the
- 57:04Speaker 11: wrong words when he describes females in general. For example,
- 57:09Speaker 11: his boss is getting remarried and he said that the
- 57:12Speaker 11: future wife. He said that the future wife has a
- 57:16Speaker 11: nice tight booty and thighs. I asked why he was
- 57:19Speaker 11: looking at her behind and why did he think it
- 57:21Speaker 11: was cool to mention it to me. He said, as
- 57:24Speaker 11: a man, there are certain things men notice, and as
- 57:26Speaker 11: my wife, he should be able to tell me anything.
- 57:29Speaker 11: I asked if he wanted me to do squats to
- 57:31Speaker 11: firm up my booty, and he said that I take
- 57:34Speaker 11: things the wrong way. He's so clueless. Why wouldn't I
- 57:38Speaker 11: get offended by him saying nice things about another woman.
- 57:42Speaker 11: He'll say that a waitress has a pretty smile, or
- 57:44Speaker 11: a woman passing by his nice hair, and then will
- 57:47Speaker 11: debate over whether it's a weed or her natural hair.
- 57:50Speaker 11: It's clear that he loves women without weave. But I've
- 57:53Speaker 11: been wearing wigs and so in since he met me,
- 57:56Speaker 11: so I feel some type of way when he discusses
- 57:59Speaker 11: the other women hair. He just said that from now on,
- 58:02Speaker 11: he will keep his mouth closed while we're out. When
- 58:05Speaker 11: he tried that we had nothing to talk about. I
- 58:09Speaker 11: had no idea that we discussed other women and nonsense
- 58:12Speaker 11: so much. It makes me sad that my husband admires
- 58:15Speaker 11: other women. He tries to assure me that he's happy
- 58:19Speaker 11: and that he loves everything about me, but I can't
- 58:21Speaker 11: help but think he wants an upgraded wife. I would
- 58:25Speaker 11: never tell him what I think about another man. He
- 58:27Speaker 11: couldn't take it if I did it to him. Why
- 58:31Speaker 11: doesn't he compliment me? Is our marriage in trouble? These
- 58:35Speaker 11: are all questions that you need to really ask him.
- 58:38Speaker 11: Why doesn't he compliment you? That is odd, isn't it.
- 58:42Speaker 11: He's talking about all these other women, but he doesn't
- 58:45Speaker 11: compliment his own wife. And you know what, You're right
- 58:48Speaker 11: about one thing. He wouldn't be able to take it
- 58:50Speaker 11: if you did that to him. His ego would be crushed.
- 58:53Speaker 11: But he says he should be able to tell his
- 58:55Speaker 11: wife anything. I mean, do you know how many divorces
- 58:58Speaker 11: and breakups there would be if couples told their partners
- 59:01Speaker 11: anything and everything? Like he said, why do you think
- 59:05Speaker 11: we can't read each other's minds because they don't need
- 59:08Speaker 11: to know what we're really thinking all the time. Your
- 59:11Speaker 11: husband doesn't need to know what you're thinking all the time,
- 59:14Speaker 11: and he doesn't need to know what you're thinking all
- 59:16Speaker 11: the time. I'm not saying, of course, don't be truthful.
- 59:18Speaker 11: I'm just saying, as his wife, you already know not
- 59:21Speaker 11: to volunteer your opinion if a fine man walks in
- 59:24Speaker 11: the room, but your husband obviously doesn't get that rule.
- 59:28Speaker 11: You need to talk to him and let him know
- 59:30Speaker 11: how this, you know, makes you feel. All these shenanigans
- 59:33Speaker 11: he's pulling. He should want you to be happy, not hurt,
- 59:36Speaker 11: but instead he's doing stupid stuff.
- 59:39Speaker 1: Right in your face.
- 59:40Speaker 11: He's not out with his boys doing this, But please,
- 59:44Speaker 11: don't you be stupid too. All right, and let this
- 59:47Speaker 11: get out of control and all of that. You can
- 59:51Speaker 11: nip this in the bud, just letting him know you
- 59:54Speaker 11: know what the real issue is here, how you really feel.
- 59:57Speaker 11: Don't allow him to make you second get as yourself
- 1:00:00Speaker 11: or to make you feel insecure. This is the time
- 1:00:03Speaker 11: you know, to love yourself even more. I mean, he's
- 1:00:08Speaker 11: crazy just because he doesn't know how to shut up
- 1:00:10Speaker 11: when he sees other attractive women. Really, Steve, I'm frustrated
- 1:00:16Speaker 11: by this letter.
- 1:00:17Speaker 7: Go ahead, yeah see this is making you mad because
- 1:00:21Speaker 7: yeah see, well surely because of the type of person
- 1:00:25Speaker 7: you are, you have such a level of decency. You
- 1:00:28Speaker 7: not gonna say what I'm going to say, but just
- 1:00:31Speaker 7: what you're thinking. But you don't have though. You don't
- 1:00:35Speaker 7: want to talk like this. The subject is his focus
- 1:00:39Speaker 7: is on other women. My husband shares too many of
- 1:00:44Speaker 7: his thoughts with me, and it's messing with my self esteem.
- 1:00:48Speaker 7: He has a bad habit of commenting on women's looks
- 1:00:52Speaker 7: when we're out, and he uses the wrong words when
- 1:00:55Speaker 7: he describes the females. For example, his boss is getting
- 1:00:59Speaker 7: me married and he said that a future wife got
- 1:01:01Speaker 7: a nice tight booty and thigh. I asked him why
- 1:01:06Speaker 7: he was looking at her and why he thought it
- 1:01:10Speaker 7: was cool to mention it to me. He said, as
- 1:01:12Speaker 7: a man, there's certain things that men noticed, and as
- 1:01:15Speaker 7: my wife, he should be able to tell me anything.
- 1:01:18Speaker 7: I needed to read that passage so I can sum
- 1:01:22Speaker 7: this letter up quickly. Quickly, we really can end the
- 1:01:24Speaker 7: Strawberry letter. I only had one question to this lady.
- 1:01:32Speaker 7: When you all were dating, you didn't know that he
- 1:01:37Speaker 7: was stupid because he didn't start this. He could have,
- 1:01:44Speaker 7: but there had to be signs that he was stupid.
- 1:01:48Speaker 7: Everybody that's married, whose marriage has ended or lasted for
- 1:01:55Speaker 7: a certain amount of time, or anything else, will all
- 1:01:59Speaker 7: be able to tell you that they saw signs.
- 1:02:03Speaker 2: Of it in the beginning, but they ignore it. Everybody.
- 1:02:09Speaker 7: Everybody, everybody has married a red flag.
- 1:02:17Speaker 2: That may not be a big flag. It might be
- 1:02:19Speaker 2: a little red sticker with a toothpick in it.
- 1:02:23Speaker 7: Some of y'all didn't married the red flag that's outside
- 1:02:26Speaker 7: the courthouse.
- 1:02:28Speaker 12: You.
- 1:02:28Speaker 2: Some of y'all have married the flag where the soldiers
- 1:02:30Speaker 2: got to come and raise it up and salute five shots.
- 1:02:36Speaker 2: That's how big a flag you than married. Or we
- 1:02:38Speaker 2: all see them. So I think you saw some of this.
- 1:02:45Speaker 7: But now when we come back, I'm going to have
- 1:02:47Speaker 7: to tell you what this means because I know exactly
- 1:02:52Speaker 7: why he's saying these says.
- 1:02:55Speaker 2: Why because men are just not that deep.
- 1:03:01Speaker 11: All right, hang on, Steve, we'll have part two of
- 1:03:03Speaker 11: your response coming up at twenty three minutes after the hour.
- 1:03:07Speaker 11: Today's Strawberry letter subject his focus is on other women.
- 1:03:11Speaker 11: We'll get back into it right after this you're listening
- 1:03:14Speaker 11: Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:03:21Speaker 10: If you're a homeowner, you know it took years of saving, planning,
- 1:03:24Speaker 10: and hard work to get in the door.

- 1:03:49Speaker 11: All right, come on, Steve. Let's recap today's strawberry letter.
- 1:03:52Speaker 11: The subject is his focus is on other women.
- 1:03:57Speaker 7: Yeah, she's married to this guy who has no problem
- 1:04:01Speaker 7: commenting on women's looks when he sees it, and he
- 1:04:04Speaker 7: does it often. Now the lady says that it's messing
- 1:04:08Speaker 7: with myself esteem. But I want to help you out
- 1:04:12Speaker 7: with something. Your husband really is not a bright man,
- 1:04:17Speaker 7: because most men listening to this show will tell you
- 1:04:20Speaker 7: that ain't a smart movie.
- 1:04:22Speaker 2: Why would you do that? I did it in my
- 1:04:25Speaker 2: first marriage one time I was taking my ex wife
- 1:04:28Speaker 2: to work.
- 1:04:29Speaker 18: Huh.
- 1:04:29Speaker 7: Yeah, I was taking my ex wife to work one day.
- 1:04:32Speaker 7: She was in the passage seat and her mother was
- 1:04:34Speaker 7: in the backseat. I was dropping both of them off
- 1:04:36Speaker 7: the work. A girl, this chick was so fine, was
- 1:04:41Speaker 7: crossing the street in the crosswalk. Now I'm twenty five
- 1:04:45Speaker 7: years old now, just got married. I might have still
- 1:04:49Speaker 7: been twenty four. Yeah, I had the twins at twenty five,
- 1:04:52Speaker 7: so the twins weren't born here. So I was twenty four.
- 1:04:55Speaker 7: This fine chick was walking to and I and my
- 1:04:58Speaker 7: I said, I know, man, why she walking like that?
- 1:05:03Speaker 7: Why her dress so tight?
- 1:05:08Speaker 2: And brother?
- 1:05:10Speaker 7: The rest of that ride to work with her and
- 1:05:13Speaker 7: her mama in that car was a lesson on stupidity.
- 1:05:21Speaker 7: They talked about me man like I wasn't even in
- 1:05:25Speaker 7: the car, and I went, wow, man, So I dropped
- 1:05:31Speaker 7: my mother in law off first. The conversation heightened. What
- 1:05:36Speaker 7: is why would you say something like, oh, so you
- 1:05:37Speaker 7: looking at her?
- 1:05:39Speaker 12: So?
- 1:05:39Speaker 2: Why are you looking at her? Worried about why she walked?
- 1:05:41Speaker 7: Now, I was just trying to make conversations over that's
- 1:05:44Speaker 7: the conversation you're not.
- 1:05:46Speaker 2: I can't even tell you what all it was that
- 1:05:48Speaker 2: a long time she get to work.
- 1:05:50Speaker 7: So I understood after that that was the last time,
- 1:05:55Speaker 7: the last time I ever told anybody.
- 1:06:00Speaker 2: Thing I thought about another woman. I ain't saying And
- 1:06:06Speaker 2: I have thoughts all the time, because like women have
- 1:06:08Speaker 2: thoughts all the time.
- 1:06:10Speaker 7: But he ain't supposed to say it, all right, So
- 1:06:13Speaker 7: now let me explain something to UH didn't He was
- 1:06:17Speaker 7: talking about how tight the warm The boss's new wife
- 1:06:20Speaker 7: had a tight booty and big thighs and everything. So
- 1:06:22Speaker 7: she asked her husband, do you want me to start
- 1:06:24Speaker 7: doing squats to firm up my booty?
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: He said, I take things the wrong way.
- 1:06:31Speaker 7: And you know and and and and why, And you
- 1:06:34Speaker 7: shouldn't be offended by he's saying nice things about other women.
- 1:06:37Speaker 2: Put an essence, he shouldn't be saying nothing about these
- 1:06:40Speaker 2: other women.
- 1:06:41Speaker 7: Now he'll say that a waitress got a pretty smile,
- 1:06:44Speaker 7: or a woman by has nice.
- 1:06:45Speaker 2: Here to one, I want you to pay a tention.
- 1:06:47Speaker 7: He'll say that a waitress has pretty smile, and a
- 1:06:50Speaker 7: woman passing by has nice hair, and we'll debate over
- 1:06:53Speaker 7: whether it's a weave or her natural hair.
- 1:06:55Speaker 2: And it's clear that he loves women without weave. But
- 1:06:59Speaker 2: I've been wearing wigs and so in since we met.
- 1:07:02Speaker 7: So I feel some kind of way when he discusses
- 1:07:04Speaker 7: other women's hair, he's dropping hints.
- 1:07:07Speaker 2: Let me explain to the teacher, because men ain't that deep.
- 1:07:10Speaker 7: When he brings up these comparisons, he know you gotta
- 1:07:13Speaker 7: sew in because he can't run his hands through his hair.
- 1:07:16Speaker 7: He know you got clip ends and wigs because he
- 1:07:19Speaker 7: know if he run his flanging through your hair, he
- 1:07:20Speaker 7: gonna push it on the floor.
- 1:07:22Speaker 2: He knows it.
- 1:07:24Speaker 7: So now he brings up other women's have to drop
- 1:07:32Speaker 7: hints as to what he likes.
- 1:07:36Speaker 2: The reason he brought up that big booty in tight.
- 1:07:39Speaker 7: Thighs of his boss's future wife, it is because that's
- 1:07:43Speaker 7: what he likes. So when you ask, do you want
- 1:07:46Speaker 7: me to do more squats, yes, that's exactly what he wanted.
- 1:07:49Speaker 7: A man ain't gonna keep doing this, And I'm gonna
- 1:07:53Speaker 7: tell you the other reason he's doing it too. He said,
- 1:07:56Speaker 7: from now here, keep his mouth shut while we're out.
- 1:07:58Speaker 7: He tried to do that, and then we didn't have
- 1:08:00Speaker 7: nothing to talk about. So now you've found out that
- 1:08:03Speaker 7: that's all y'all's conversation has been about that. The whole time,
- 1:08:06Speaker 7: because now you all go it out and you have
- 1:08:08Speaker 7: nothing to say, and then you say it makes me
- 1:08:13Speaker 7: sad that my husband admires other women. And he tries
- 1:08:16Speaker 7: to assure me he's happy love everything about you, But
- 1:08:19Speaker 7: I can't think he.
- 1:08:20Speaker 2: Wants an upgraded wife.
- 1:08:23Speaker 7: He wants you to do something different, because that's why
- 1:08:26Speaker 7: he's dropping all these hints. But I'm gonna tell you
- 1:08:28Speaker 7: something about your husband that you may not have considered.
- 1:08:32Speaker 7: Your husband is extremely inconsiderable. Extremely you're married to an
- 1:08:40Speaker 7: inconsiderate man. Because you said it best if you did
- 1:08:45Speaker 7: the same thing to him, Oh my god, he couldn't
- 1:08:50Speaker 7: take it. And know he can't because the male ego.
- 1:08:54Speaker 7: The male ego bruises easy. Now you gotta be careful, lady,
- 1:09:00Speaker 7: because once you bruise the male ego, it's.
- 1:09:03Speaker 2: Hard to come back. Because me and me and hold that.
- 1:09:08Speaker 2: Did you know? It's just like, let me just tell
- 1:09:13Speaker 2: you some stuff you can't never say to a man
- 1:09:15Speaker 2: and get it back.
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: Okay, let's hear this.
- 1:09:21Speaker 7: That's the best you can do. Here's here's another one
- 1:09:30Speaker 7: that you can't get back. I thought you were stronger
- 1:09:34Speaker 7: than that. M Here's the one you can't really get back.

- 1:14:07Speaker 11: All right, Steve, This is from Brooke and Dover. Brooke says,
- 1:14:10Speaker 11: my husband is a hard working man, and I love
- 1:14:13Speaker 11: that part of him, but I can't stand how he smells.
- 1:14:17Speaker 11: When he gets home from work. He takes his stinky
- 1:14:20Speaker 11: and sweaty clothes off in the kitchen and puts them
- 1:14:23Speaker 11: in the washer, and we'll walk around the house stinking
- 1:14:25Speaker 11: up the place. He even sat his bare butt on
- 1:14:28Speaker 11: our comforter a few times. The last time he did it,
- 1:14:31Speaker 11: I showed him the sweat stains on the bed and
- 1:14:33Speaker 11: he said, that's why we have a washing machine.
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: How do I stop his nastiness?
- 1:14:41Speaker 7: Well, the man worked hard, he's stinky, he doing his job.
- 1:14:45Speaker 7: But just have to have a simple route. When you
- 1:14:48Speaker 7: take off them funky clothes and you put him in
- 1:14:51Speaker 7: the line, you must take your funky tail and put
- 1:14:55Speaker 7: it in the show. Not if you want to come
- 1:14:58Speaker 7: and sit your naked butt on the ba and the
- 1:15:00Speaker 7: comforter and all that. There, you come, do all that,
- 1:15:03Speaker 7: but you're gonna have to shower first because your odor
- 1:15:07Speaker 7: is running through the house because your clothes stink for
- 1:15:11Speaker 7: a reason.
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: Okay, is she gonna say it like that? Or she
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: gonna be nice about I mean you.
- 1:15:17Speaker 7: Know, oh okay, Okay, let me how nice you want
- 1:15:20Speaker 7: to be by it. I'm just saying because y'all got
- 1:15:24Speaker 7: you just got tired of this. No, it's gonna be offensive.
- 1:15:27Speaker 7: Him staking up the house is offensive, and him not
- 1:15:30Speaker 7: taking the shower when he take them nasty clothes office
- 1:15:33Speaker 7: and here, grown man, he ain't no baby, you ain't
- 1:15:35Speaker 7: got time for this.
- 1:15:37Speaker 2: You gotta cut him, just you gotta cut him.
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: You gotta hurt him.
- 1:15:41Speaker 5: Hurt him.
- 1:15:45Speaker 2: You smell like hot garbage.
- 1:15:49Speaker 5: Wow, whoa.
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: That's kind of hmm? Okay, cut him deep?
- 1:15:57Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, you smell old spam?
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: Spam? What does that smell? Likese?
- 1:16:09Speaker 5: Meet?
- 1:16:09Speaker 2: You just gotta go deep. You gotta go real deep. Okay.
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: Is that gonna make it?
- 1:16:16Speaker 2: Yeah? He's gonna make him do something.
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: All right, we have time for another one. This is
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: from Tracy and Gainesville.
- 1:16:22Speaker 11: Tracy says, I'm in a three way love affair with
- 1:16:26Speaker 11: a father and son.
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: It's not what you think.
- 1:16:29Speaker 11: I'm not having sex with the dad, but he gives
- 1:16:32Speaker 11: me money and he's paying my student loans. He told
- 1:16:35Speaker 11: me that he'll take great care of me if I
- 1:16:37Speaker 11: leave his son alone. His son is in medical school,
- 1:16:41Speaker 11: so he's got the potential to make a lot of
- 1:16:43Speaker 11: money too. Is it best to stick with the son
- 1:16:47Speaker 11: or be in a secret relationship with the dad just
- 1:16:50Speaker 11: for money.
- 1:16:51Speaker 2: Well, let me give you some advice on this one.
- 1:16:53Speaker 5: Right here.
- 1:16:54Speaker 7: The dad is the dad is on one of the
- 1:16:58Speaker 7: lowest levels of manhood criteria.
- 1:17:03Speaker 2: The dad is a horrible person.
- 1:17:05Speaker 7: Yeah, you leave this young man who's trying to become something,
- 1:17:10Speaker 7: who is on the cusp of becoming greatness, to this
- 1:17:13Speaker 7: old man who is soon to be a has been
- 1:17:17Speaker 7: would be the dumbest and biggest mistake you ever made
- 1:17:22Speaker 7: that you've ever made. And you have to think about
- 1:17:25Speaker 7: a father who is willing to betray his son. Yeah,
- 1:17:30Speaker 7: because the saying is this, And I broke down on
- 1:17:33Speaker 7: a podcast yesterday because I hurt myself when I said it.
- 1:17:37Speaker 7: When a man loses his father, He realizes that the
- 1:17:40Speaker 7: one man who truly wanted him to be better than
- 1:17:43Speaker 7: him is gone. Do you know Tommy has a son,
- 1:17:47Speaker 7: I have a son. Do you know that our fervorite
- 1:17:51Speaker 7: prayer and efforts is all that our sons become better
- 1:17:56Speaker 7: than who we are. I want to be better husband's
- 1:17:59Speaker 7: better father. I want to be better men than me.
- 1:18:03Speaker 7: I promise you I do for his father not to
- 1:18:07Speaker 7: want the best for his son. His daddy is low down,
- 1:18:12Speaker 7: low down, and.
- 1:18:15Speaker 3: He's saying he don't want nothing, but he don't want
- 1:18:18Speaker 3: it crush me. He's just playing right now. He's saying
- 1:18:22Speaker 3: he doesn't want anything physical.
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: Yeah, they're not eventually, eventure.
- 1:18:28Speaker 2: That's exactly because he just said, and I'll take good
- 1:18:30Speaker 2: care of you if you leave my son.
- 1:18:33Speaker 7: That's an offer. That's what's called an indecent propose.
- 1:18:37Speaker 5: Yep.
- 1:18:39Speaker 2: And his daddy is skun straight skins.
- 1:18:43Speaker 15: Yeah.
- 1:18:43Speaker 11: Coming up at twenty minutes after, we'll have more of
- 1:18:45Speaker 11: a Steve Harvey Morning Show.

- 1:23:38Speaker 1: Would you rather win.
- 1:23:40Speaker 2: Hug my wife? But she's gonna have a lot of
- 1:23:42Speaker 2: vomit on her back though.
- 1:23:45Speaker 11: That's nasty, disgusting. H Would you rather live in a
- 1:23:54Speaker 11: mansion on an old plantation or live in a tiny.
- 1:23:58Speaker 7: B I'm being well, I'm house plantation. I'm not fit
- 1:24:03Speaker 7: to plantation. I'm not going to open up my doors
- 1:24:06Speaker 7: and feel the fresh air of people dying and equipping
- 1:24:11Speaker 7: and all this hell. I burned that plantation house down.
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: A tiny house, tiny house? All right?
- 1:24:21Speaker 8: Uh?

- 1:25:21Speaker 1: The weekend is here.
- 1:25:22Speaker 2: I love it.
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: Carly, you had a question for Steve. Yes, Steve, what
- 1:25:27Speaker 1: do you do when you feel lost?
- 1:25:30Speaker 7: You know, I guess when you say when you feel lost,
- 1:25:34Speaker 7: that could be viewed a few ways. If you're in
- 1:25:38Speaker 7: a state of confusion, that can make you feel lost.
- 1:25:42Speaker 7: If you're in a state of uncertainty, that can make
- 1:25:46Speaker 7: you feel lost. If you just don't know which way
- 1:25:51Speaker 7: to go, where to turn, You have no idea what
- 1:25:55Speaker 7: your next move is or should be. I guess all
- 1:25:59Speaker 7: of those things can be fit under I'm lost. Sometimes
- 1:26:05Speaker 7: lost can be a feeling of hopelessness, like you just
- 1:26:10Speaker 7: feel like it just ain't gonna ever turn around for you.
- 1:26:14Speaker 7: That can make you feel lost. We've all we've all
- 1:26:18Speaker 7: experienced it. I know for sure I have. And every
- 1:26:22Speaker 7: now and then, even now, as old as I am,
- 1:26:25Speaker 7: as spiritual as I become, I'm still human and I
- 1:26:30Speaker 7: have moments. I'm actually currently in a position now where
- 1:26:35Speaker 7: I don't know exactly what I'm going to do. I
- 1:26:40Speaker 7: really don't and I and it was really funny because
- 1:26:44Speaker 7: just another clip I was scrolling through and a clip
- 1:26:48Speaker 7: came up of Bishop Tdjkes on my talk show, and
- 1:26:52Speaker 7: I said to him, Man, sometimes man, I just don't know.
- 1:27:00Speaker 2: What tomorrow brings. I don't know what to do.
- 1:27:04Speaker 7: Bishop Jake's response was, and you're not supposed to. You're
- 1:27:09Speaker 7: not supposed to know what the future holds. You're not
- 1:27:14Speaker 7: supposed to You're not gonna always know what to do,
- 1:27:18Speaker 7: what your next move is, because if you knew all
- 1:27:21Speaker 7: of that, that would destroy the thing that God wants
- 1:27:24Speaker 7: from us, which is faith.
- 1:27:27Speaker 2: These are the tests of life.
- 1:27:29Speaker 7: When you're lost, when you're confused, when you're the state
- 1:27:31Speaker 7: of confusion, when you can't find direction, when you don't
- 1:27:34Speaker 7: know what to do, when you know where your next
- 1:27:36Speaker 7: move is coming from.
- 1:27:39Speaker 2: That pushes you in a place that you really need
- 1:27:43Speaker 2: to be.
- 1:27:44Speaker 7: And when I feel lost, when I feel in a
- 1:27:47Speaker 7: state of confusion, I know to be still and let God.
- 1:27:52Speaker 2: Now what do I mean by that?
- 1:27:54Speaker 7: When I'm in those spaces that I'm in right now,
- 1:27:58Speaker 7: I have to look back on my track record and
- 1:28:02Speaker 7: realize I've been here before and how did it pan
- 1:28:06Speaker 7: out after that? And I can't always point to everything exactly,
- 1:28:11Speaker 7: but I do know I've gotten through all of those
- 1:28:14Speaker 7: moments that God was somewhere working on my behalf that
- 1:28:18Speaker 7: I didn't know anything about. But you gotta really get
- 1:28:21Speaker 7: into your faith, man, because this feeling of lost is
- 1:28:25Speaker 7: an opening for the devil too.
- 1:28:27Speaker 5: See.
- 1:28:28Speaker 7: You gotta be real careful here, because when you feel
- 1:28:31Speaker 7: lost in a state of confusion, you don't know what
- 1:28:34Speaker 7: your next move is going to be. You can't seem
- 1:28:36Speaker 7: to get it right, you seem stuck in a rut.
- 1:28:39Speaker 7: The devil is in there, in that rut, in that
- 1:28:42Speaker 7: state of confusion, offering little light suggestions to keep you there.
- 1:28:50Speaker 7: You've been praying about this, I guess God then said no.
- 1:28:53Speaker 7: See sometimes delayed don't mean denied. It just ain't coming
- 1:28:58Speaker 7: at the time you won't. You gotta be careful because
- 1:29:02Speaker 7: the devil will make you think God don't even hear
- 1:29:05Speaker 7: your prayers. The devil will make you think, do what
- 1:29:10Speaker 7: you was gonna do before. Stop waiting on him, Just
- 1:29:14Speaker 7: go and do something. I got a friend that's got
- 1:29:16Speaker 7: a real ignorant saying. What does he say, I'm gonna
- 1:29:21Speaker 7: do something even if it's wrong. What do you know
- 1:29:25Speaker 7: how ignorant that is? Well, I ain't finna just stand
- 1:29:27Speaker 7: here and do nothing. I'm gonna do something even if
- 1:29:30Speaker 7: it's wrong. Well that don't make no sense. But he
- 1:29:33Speaker 7: repeats that all the time, and the devil will make
- 1:29:36Speaker 7: you do something like that, I'm gonna do something even
- 1:29:39Speaker 7: if it's wrong.
- 1:29:42Speaker 2: Let's talk about a couple of specific examples.
- 1:29:44Speaker 7: Let's say, ladies, you've been in a bad relationship and
- 1:29:47Speaker 7: you get out and you just want to be in
- 1:29:49Speaker 7: a relationship. You just want to have somebody you know,
- 1:29:51Speaker 7: you don't want to be by yourself. You just you
- 1:29:53Speaker 7: just want to have somebody. And then somebody comes along
- 1:29:57Speaker 7: and you get a little feeling that he, yes, ain't
- 1:30:00Speaker 7: quite right. But because you tired of being alone, you decide,
- 1:30:05Speaker 7: I'm gonna go on and see what he about. Well,
- 1:30:08Speaker 7: to me, that's doing something, even if it's wrong. If
- 1:30:12Speaker 7: you know something ain't right, don't do it. If you
- 1:30:14Speaker 7: get an inkling, don't do it. Don't let the devil
- 1:30:17Speaker 7: get into that negative space. When you feel lost, immediately stop,
- 1:30:23Speaker 7: let go and let God take whatever your problem, your decision,
- 1:30:28Speaker 7: your confusion is. Put it in the hands of God Almighty,
- 1:30:32Speaker 7: and trust and believe that he gonna get you through it.
- 1:30:35Speaker 7: Because think about it, everything you've ever gone through, he's
- 1:30:37Speaker 7: gotten you through it. Your track record for surviving bad days,
- 1:30:41Speaker 7: unthinkable outcomes is one hundred percent. You survived them all.
- 1:30:46Speaker 7: He is never too late, like I know he coming
- 1:30:50Speaker 7: like right now. I feel like he's a little late
- 1:30:52Speaker 7: right now, but already know he ain't late, that he
- 1:30:55Speaker 7: gonna come just on time, in time, at the right time.
- 1:31:00Speaker 7: But it's gonna be his time because God's timing is
- 1:31:03Speaker 7: not like ours. This is the time when you feel lost,
- 1:31:07Speaker 7: to lean more on your faith, more on your relationship
- 1:31:11Speaker 7: with God, get closer. It's an opportunity to put your
- 1:31:17Speaker 7: dependence right where it belongs, and that's on him. God
- 1:31:22Speaker 7: don't want you dependent on man. You know, I had
- 1:31:25Speaker 7: to come to terms with that. I was counting on
- 1:31:27Speaker 7: a bunch of people.
- 1:31:29Speaker 2: I really was.
- 1:31:30Speaker 7: God don't want that from me. He don't want that
- 1:31:33Speaker 7: from me. So that's the lesson I've learned. So when
- 1:31:36Speaker 7: you feel lost, go deeper to Him. Trust him. You'll
- 1:31:40Speaker 7: be alright. Those are my close remarks. Listen, y'all, here's
- 1:31:44Speaker 7: the important thing. Talk to God today. He would absolutely
- 1:31:47Speaker 7: love to hear from you. Come on, brothers, think about that.
- 1:31:51Speaker 7: Just talk to God and be all right.
