Meta to pay $17 billion in lawsuit settlement
Meta has settled a lawsuit accusing the social media giant of designing facebook and instagram to be addictive for children and teens. The Canadian Institute for Health Information says hospitalizations for both children and adults riding e-scooters rose by almost 40 per cent in the past year across the country.
