- 0:01Speaker 1: So there is a meeting that the media is completely
- 0:04Speaker 1: obsessed with. It is a meeting that's scheduled in the
- 0:06Speaker 1: Oval Office. Today. Trump publicly confirming on a social media
- 0:11Speaker 1: platform True Social that the communist mayor of New York City, Mondani,
- 0:17Speaker 1: has asked for a meeting, and the President said, We've
- 0:20Speaker 1: agreed to this meeting and it will take place at
- 0:22Speaker 1: the Oval Office on Friday. Mondani, as you know, is
- 0:25Speaker 1: the incoming mayor elect of New York City. He won
- 0:28Speaker 1: that November fourth election. Despite deep ideological rivalries, both sides
- 0:34Speaker 1: have signaled a willingness, at least in rhetoric, to engage
- 0:36Speaker 1: on issues affecting New York. Now here's what President Trump
- 0:40Speaker 1: has said. He's repeatedly labeled Mondannie one hundred percent communist, lunatic,
- 0:44Speaker 1: and a total nut job. On the November twenty first announcement,
- 0:48Speaker 1: he flagged that he may withhold or reduce federal funding
- 0:52Speaker 1: if he deems Mendanni's leadership problematic. The White House pres
- 0:56Speaker 1: Secretary Caroline Levitt ahead of the meeting said this communists
- 1:00Speaker 1: coming to the White House because that is who the
- 1:03Speaker 1: Democratic Party elected as the mayor of the largest city
- 1:06Speaker 1: in the country. Now It's very clear that the President
- 1:09Speaker 1: cares deeply about New York City. That may be one
- 1:12Speaker 1: of the reasons why he's willing to have this meeting
- 1:14Speaker 1: with Mandanni. It's a place where he created his empire,
- 1:17Speaker 1: where he hosted The Apprentice, where he announced his run
- 1:21Speaker 1: to become president of the United States of America. He
- 1:24Speaker 1: obviously is concerned about the greatest city in America and
- 1:27Speaker 1: doesn't want it to become a massive disaster. But he
- 1:31Speaker 1: also understands what he's dealing with Mondani, and the fact
- 1:34Speaker 1: is he's dealing with a socialists. This is, by the way,
- 1:37Speaker 1: the Democratic Party. This is exactly who they are. They
- 1:42Speaker 1: are no longer a party that loves this country. They're
- 1:46Speaker 1: a party that believes this country is evil. They believe
- 1:49Speaker 1: this country should be destroyed and remade as a socialist country,
- 1:52Speaker 1: a communist country, a Marxist country. This is now the
- 1:56Speaker 1: real Democratic Party. So why have this meeting? Well, maybe
- 2:01Speaker 1: the President's actually trying to save New York And why
- 2:04Speaker 1: is Mandanni having the meeting. Well, here's what Mendannia has said.
- 2:09Speaker 1: He described himself as a democratic socialist, not a communist,
- 2:13Speaker 1: and has rejected the communist label, even though that's exactly
- 2:16Speaker 1: what he's been the majority of his life. His agenda
- 2:19Speaker 1: is emphasizing what he describes as affordability in New York City.
- 2:23Speaker 1: In reality, it's full government control and handouts things like
- 2:28Speaker 1: rent freezes, free buses, city owned grocery stores, and expanding
- 2:33Speaker 1: free childcare. The question is who's going to pay for it.
- 2:38Speaker 1: On the meeting, he said, I just want to speak
- 2:40Speaker 1: plainly to the President about what it means to actually
- 2:43Speaker 1: stand up for New Yorkers and the way in which
- 2:46Speaker 1: the New Yorkers are struggling to afford this city. He
- 2:50Speaker 1: confirmed this team reached out to the White House to
- 2:52Speaker 1: request the meeting. So here's my prediction. I think it's
- 2:57Speaker 1: pretty clear that Mandannie is already thinking about what is
- 2:59Speaker 1: next job is going to be. It's very obvious that
- 3:03Speaker 1: he's turning into a star of the Democratic Party that
- 3:06Speaker 1: is an essence dead and now a socialist party. He
- 3:10Speaker 1: clearly wants to meet with Donald Trump for the reason
- 3:13Speaker 1: of raising his own stature or even to maybe have
- 3:16Speaker 1: a spectacle come out of it to say I stood
- 3:19Speaker 1: up to Orange Man Donald Trump, who's bad. But is
- 3:23Speaker 1: it really gonna do anything good for New York City? Well,
- 3:27Speaker 1: look at New York City and what's going on right now.
- 3:30Speaker 1: You literally have pro Palacidian activists that have besieged New
- 3:34Speaker 1: York City and the synagogues there. Moundani error has already
- 3:39Speaker 1: begun as hundreds of pro Palasidian activists, pro terrorist activists
- 3:44Speaker 1: went to Manhattan's prestigious Party Synagogue on Wednesday night, chanting
- 3:49Speaker 1: globalize the Infantada, death to the IDF, and take another
- 3:54Speaker 1: settler out, and what critics warrant is just the beginning
- 3:59Speaker 1: of a radical climate under the Socialist mayor elect Mandani.
- 4:04Speaker 1: The nighttime demonstration targeted at an event about Jewish immigration
- 4:09Speaker 1: to Israel hosted inside the synagogue, which has stood on
- 4:13Speaker 1: East sixty seventh Street since eighteen ninety and also houses
- 4:18Speaker 1: a prominent Jewish day school. Now, you would think that
- 4:20Speaker 1: the radical left would keep the school a school and
- 4:24Speaker 1: not radicalize people to go there and then to put
- 4:27Speaker 1: people's lives at risk or to harass students at a
- 4:31Speaker 1: Jewish school, But that is exactly what they did. Radical
- 4:34Speaker 1: pro Palacadian activists pounded drums and unleashed a barrage of
- 4:38Speaker 1: in semiary chants, including resistance is glorious, Infantada Revolution no
- 4:44Speaker 1: peace on stolen land, referring to Israel and saying we
- 4:48Speaker 1: don't want no two states, we want forty eight and
- 4:53Speaker 1: from New York to Gaza, globalize the Infatada with signs
- 4:58Speaker 1: declaring Zionism is a death and no settlers on stolen land.
- 5:04Speaker 1: This is literally who Mindani is deciding is important to him.
- 5:08Speaker 1: Attendees entered an exit the building were jeered at close range.
- 5:12Speaker 1: As one protest leader told the crowd, it is our
- 5:16Speaker 1: duty to make them think twice before holding these events.
- 5:20Speaker 1: We need to make them scared, prompting activists to repeat
- 5:23Speaker 1: the line, now, let's be clear. These individuals say it's
- 5:27Speaker 1: their job to scare people who are Jewish. The New
- 5:31Speaker 1: York Police Department deployed officers and metal barricades that separate
- 5:35Speaker 1: the demonstrators from a smaller group of Jewish counter protesters
- 5:40Speaker 1: who blew schaffars and whistles, shown flashlights of the crowd
- 5:44Speaker 1: and shout it back, you were cowards, and stopped protesting
- 5:48Speaker 1: at a synagogue. Police said the protests were permitted and
- 5:52Speaker 1: reported no arrests. Ken Or Benny, who serves as both
- 5:57Speaker 1: the canter of Parky Synagogue and the director of the
- 6:01Speaker 1: Rabbi Arthur Parkise Day School described the scene as a
- 6:05Speaker 1: very disturbing scene, noting the demonstrators shouted phrases such as
- 6:10Speaker 1: kill the Jews, destroy Israel, and no Jews in America.
- 6:15Speaker 1: He said many members of the community were very, very
- 6:18Speaker 1: concerned by the language and by the decision to target
- 6:21Speaker 1: a synagogue. All of this coming from the New York
- 6:24Speaker 1: Post and the scenes outside the Parkis also triggered a
- 6:27Speaker 1: wave of shocking reaction on x from rabbis, clergy, commentators, activists,
- 6:33Speaker 1: and even elected officials. He framed the protests as a
- 6:35Speaker 1: chilling echo of the nineteen thirties and a warning of
- 6:39Speaker 1: what they will call the new Mundani era in New York.
- 6:43Speaker 1: One of the rabbis there, who first posted the video
- 6:45Speaker 1: of the protests, wrote that anti Semite showed up outside
- 6:50Speaker 1: the Parkis Synagogue and are chanting for the Infantada, stressing
- 6:55Speaker 1: that the synagogue senior rabbi is a Holocaust survivor who
- 6:59Speaker 1: vividly rem what happened during the Holocaust and now sees
- 7:04Speaker 1: the same human material outside his own synagogue. He insisted
- 7:10Speaker 1: that this is not about Gaza and has never been
- 7:13Speaker 1: about Gaza, and that the demonstration is an attack on
- 7:16Speaker 1: the Jewish people. I couldn't agree more. And this goes
- 7:20Speaker 1: back to the meeting with Mundani. Mundani is supported by
- 7:25Speaker 1: these radicals, and Mundani has made it clear he's no
- 7:28Speaker 1: fan of Israel, even saying that he would have his
- 7:31Speaker 1: New York Police Department arrest Benjaminette Yahoo if he came
- 7:36Speaker 1: to New York City. So here we are. The President
- 7:40Speaker 1: has an opportunity to meet with Mndanni and to talk
- 7:43Speaker 1: to him, and there's a very good chanceman Mondonnie's just
- 7:46Speaker 1: using this meeting to say I stood up to Donald Trump.
- 7:51Speaker 1: So what's going to happen moving forward? Well, who knows.
- 7:55Speaker 1: What I do know is the President is smart and
- 7:58Speaker 1: is willing to meet with virtually anyone to have a dialogue.
- 8:01Speaker 1: I hope that Mandonni comes in the meeting and maybe
- 8:04Speaker 1: decides to listen instead of just say that everyone that
- 8:07Speaker 1: against him is evil or to somehow claim that Jews
- 8:11Speaker 1: don't belong in New York City. What is also shocking
- 8:15Speaker 1: is how quickly New York is changing and how fast
- 8:18Speaker 1: radicals on the left are saying, we now have an
- 8:21Speaker 1: environment where we can do things like this in front
- 8:25Speaker 1: of a synagogue, and we have a mayor that will
- 8:27Speaker 1: allow it to happen and back it up. Every so often,
- 8:31Speaker 1: something happens that reminds us just how fragile our freedoms are.
- 8:35Speaker 1: We can't afford to take our rights for granted. We
- 8:38Speaker 1: must draw a line in the sand, and our friends
- 8:41Speaker 1: at Patriot Mobile have been doing just that for more
- 8:44Speaker 1: than twelve years. The truth is there is only one
- 8:47Speaker 1: provider that boldly stands in the gap for Americans who
- 8:51Speaker 1: believe freedom is we're fighting for, and that company is
- 8:54Speaker 1: Patriot Mobile. Not only are they leading the red economy,
- 8:58Speaker 1: they're also outpacing the petition and technology. Patriot Mobile is

- 10:16Speaker 1: call you make. Welcome, it's been Ferguson's show. It is
- 10:20Speaker 1: nice to have you with us. There's an old saying
- 10:23Speaker 1: in politics, it's the economy stupid. It's an important one
- 10:26Speaker 1: because if Americans feel like the economy is not going
- 10:29Speaker 1: in the right direction, they almost always blame whoever is
- 10:34Speaker 1: in charge of the country, the president of the United
- 10:36Speaker 1: States of America. Well, there are a lot of Americans
- 10:39Speaker 1: right now that are not happy where pricing is and
- 10:42Speaker 1: where the economy is. It's part of the reason why
- 10:45Speaker 1: President Donald Trump was elected president. But Democrats are seizing
- 10:49Speaker 1: this moment to now say that Donald Trump's economy is
- 10:53Speaker 1: a disaster. The Trump White House they're fighting back and
- 10:57Speaker 1: working to fix what they describe as the affordability crisis
- 11:01Speaker 1: and proving that they're making significant progress in this area
- 11:06Speaker 1: after Americans suffered under Biden inflation for years. The White
- 11:10Speaker 1: House Press Secretary of Caroline Levitt pointing out during Thursday's
- 11:14Speaker 1: press briefing just how bad things were, saying, quote, these
- 11:18Speaker 1: gains came after the summer passage of President Trump's historic
- 11:22Speaker 1: tax cuts and multiple big trade deals with countries around
- 11:26Speaker 1: the world. In particular, construction jobs is served by nineteen
- 11:29Speaker 1: thousand September, the largest monthly game in a year. She
- 11:35Speaker 1: also pointed out that most of this growth came from
- 11:39Speaker 1: private sector, and native born citizens are getting these jobs
- 11:44Speaker 1: rather than foreign born workers. This, Levitt pointed out as
- 11:48Speaker 1: the opposite of what we saw under the Biden administration.
- 11:52Speaker 1: She also reminded Americans of this that inflation also remains
- 11:56Speaker 1: under control and wages are up three point eight percent
- 12:01Speaker 1: over the year for American workers because of President Trump's
- 12:05Speaker 1: pro growth policies. In fact, oral wages are at a
- 12:09Speaker 1: pace to increase roughly one thousand, two hundred dollars for
- 12:13Speaker 1: the average worker this year alone under President Donald Trump. Now,
- 12:18Speaker 1: if the economy is in such bad shape, how is
- 12:21Speaker 1: it that wages are going up like this? Now, There's
- 12:24Speaker 1: no doubt that a lot of the money we're making
- 12:26Speaker 1: now is going to goods and services that are high price.
- 12:31Speaker 1: The President also working on that, saying, quote, what we're
- 12:34Speaker 1: doing this is a complete reversal when we saw inflation
- 12:39Speaker 1: skyrocket to nine percent, causing private sector workers to see
- 12:44Speaker 1: their wages decline by approximately three thousand dollars. While Americans
- 12:50Speaker 1: are still suffering the consequences of the four years of
- 12:53Speaker 1: economic disaster the Biden administration. The White House Press Secretary
- 12:57Speaker 1: said Donald Trump is making significant progress to fix this
- 13:01Speaker 1: and he will not stop working until he solves it.
- 13:04Speaker 1: As the President recently stated, he is never satisfied.
- 13:08Speaker 2: In economic news. This September jobs report showed the American
- 13:11Speaker 2: economy remains strong, with one hundred and nineteen thousand new
- 13:16Speaker 2: jobs added, more than double expectations. These gains came after
- 13:21Speaker 2: the summer passage of President Trump's historic tax cuts and
- 13:25Speaker 2: multiple big trade deals with countries around the world. In particular,
- 13:29Speaker 2: construction jobs surged by nineteen thousand in September, the largest
- 13:34Speaker 2: monthly gain in a year. Nearly all of this solid
- 13:38Speaker 2: monthly job growth came from the private sector and went
- 13:41Speaker 2: to Americans rather than foreign born workers, the opposite of
- 13:45Speaker 2: what we saw under the previous administration. Inflation also remains
- 13:50Speaker 2: under control and wages are up by three point eight
- 13:52Speaker 2: percent over the year for American workers because of President
- 13:56Speaker 2: Trump's pro growth policies. In fact, real wages are on
- 14:01Speaker 2: pace to increase roughly twelve hundred dollars for the average
- 14:04Speaker 2: worker this year under President Trump. This is a complete
- 14:08Speaker 2: reversal of the failed Biden era, when we saw inflation's
- 14:11Speaker 2: skyrocket to nine percent, causing private sector workers to see
- 14:15Speaker 2: their wages decline by approximately three thousand dollars. We know
- 14:20Speaker 2: that Americans are still hurting from the four decade high
- 14:23Speaker 2: inflation caused by Joe Biden and the Democrats, but President
- 14:27Speaker 2: Trump is making significant progress to fix this and he
- 14:31Speaker 2: will not stop working until he solves it. As the
- 14:34Speaker 2: President recently stated, he is never satisfied.
- 14:39Speaker 1: The White House Press Secretary wasn't the only one talking
- 14:41Speaker 1: about the positives and the economy. Vice President j. D
- 14:44Speaker 1: Vance also pointing to the economic realities of Yes, things
- 14:49Speaker 1: are bad in some categories because of what happened over
- 14:52Speaker 1: the last four years, but the Biden administration didn't ruin America,
- 14:57Speaker 1: and Donald Trump is fixing it as fast as he
- 14:59Speaker 1: possible we can. Here's what the Vice president had to
- 15:02Speaker 1: say in a Breitbart News event on Thursday.
- 15:06Speaker 3: As president, the big news this morning is new jobs
- 15:08Speaker 3: numbers blew away expectation huge from the September numbers, so
- 15:11Speaker 3: these were delayed because of the government shutdown. More than
- 15:14Speaker 3: double one hundred nineteen thousand new jobs. And then also
- 15:17Speaker 3: there's some interesting stuff in the wag wages numbers there
- 15:20Speaker 3: as well. This shows wages on the rise. Your thoughts
- 15:22Speaker 3: on the jobs numbers.
- 15:23Speaker 4: Okay, so a huge jobs report and I assume the
- 15:26Speaker 4: market is going crazy right now, probably just opened. Because
- 15:29Speaker 4: what this shows is that the Trump economic policies are
- 15:31Speaker 4: actually working, and you've got one hundred nineteen thousand new jobs.
- 15:34Speaker 4: Economists thought that we would have about fifty thousand new jobs,
- 15:37Speaker 4: but that's actually just the headline number. If you look
- 15:40Speaker 4: below the surface, I think the numbers are actually better.
- 15:42Speaker 4: So Number one, wages continue to weigh out pace inflation.
- 15:46Speaker 4: If you go back to the three years of the
- 15:48Speaker 4: Biden administration, the average American worker actually lost about three
- 15:52Speaker 4: thousand dollars of take home pay. In the first ten
- 15:54Speaker 4: months of the Trump economy, we've increased take home pay
- 15:57Speaker 4: by about twelve hundred dollars, adjusting for inflation. And so
- 16:00Speaker 4: that's a huge, huge thing. And this Job's report confirms that.
- 16:03Speaker 1: So if you go back to the lie being told
- 16:05Speaker 1: by the media that things are terrible, they weren't freaking
- 16:08Speaker 1: out when that workers lost about three thousand dollars of
- 16:12Speaker 1: take home pay under the Biden administration. In the first
- 16:15Speaker 1: ten months of the Trump economy, you've got wage increases,
- 16:20Speaker 1: a take home pay of about one two hundred dollars.
- 16:24Speaker 1: That is a massive forty two one hundred dollars swing. Now,
- 16:30Speaker 1: he also highlighted the private sectors driving this economy growth
- 16:34Speaker 1: and the jobs are going to native born citizens rather
- 16:38Speaker 1: than foreign workers. It's a drastic change from the reality
- 16:42Speaker 1: under the Biden administration. And what happened under the Biden
- 16:45Speaker 1: administration is to the extent that there was any job
- 16:49Speaker 1: growth at all. If you look at the data, JD.
- 16:52Speaker 1: Van said, almost all of the net job creation in
- 16:56Speaker 1: the United States under the Biden administration went to foreign
- 17:00Speaker 1: foreign workers. Now, of course, some of those people are
- 17:03Speaker 1: illegal immigrants in the United States of America, he continued,
- 17:06Speaker 1: but that meant a lot of the job creation was
- 17:08Speaker 1: actually going to legal aliens who shouldn't have been in
- 17:11Speaker 1: our country. Senator Bernie Marino, Republican from Ohio, also pointed
- 17:16Speaker 1: out the fact that the influx of foreign workers imported
- 17:19Speaker 1: by the Biden administration really hurt American workers, and Americans
- 17:24Speaker 1: are remember the damage that was inflicted upon the country
- 17:27Speaker 1: under the Biden administration, and it cannot be undone what
- 17:31Speaker 1: they did to this country in a matter of months,
- 17:33Speaker 1: surging this country with up to twenty million illegal immigrants.
- 17:36Speaker 1: He also urged Republicans to respond with urgency, saying these
- 17:42Speaker 1: realities coincide with the Trump administration celebrating the strides made
- 17:46Speaker 1: in the affordability crisis since Donald Trump took office in January.
- 17:51Speaker 1: That includes falling gas prices which reached record highs under
- 17:56Speaker 1: Joe Biden, as well as dipping mortgage rates, falling inflation,
- 18:02Speaker 1: and boost and take home pay. Those victories do not
- 18:05Speaker 1: even include what the Trump administration has achieved through trade
- 18:09Speaker 1: deals and historic investments secured by the president, all of
- 18:14Speaker 1: which the President has been talking about is steps in
- 18:17Speaker 1: the right direction. What the media should be calling this
- 18:21Speaker 1: is the Trump Effect. Since President Donald Trump returned to office,
- 18:25Speaker 1: it's very clear that his America First economic policies have
- 18:30Speaker 1: sparked trillions of dollars in new investments in US manufacturing, technology,
- 18:35Speaker 1: and infrastructure. Total US and foreign investment is now at
- 18:40Speaker 1: nine trillion dollars. Where's the money coming from? The UAE
- 18:44Speaker 1: putting in foreign investments of one point four trillion into
- 18:48Speaker 1: manufacturing and industry, technology, aerospace as well. Qatar putting one
- 18:54Speaker 1: point two trillion into America again in manufacturing, an industry
- 18:58Speaker 1: sector with technology and manufacturing being the main point. Japan
- 19:03Speaker 1: one trillion into auto plants in US steel, Apple six
- 19:07Speaker 1: hundred billion into technology and manufacturing as well. EU firms
- 19:13Speaker 1: putting in general investment of six hundred billion, Saudi Arabia
- 19:17Speaker 1: putting in six hundred billion and now saying it's going
- 19:20Speaker 1: to go to one trillion dollars again in technology and manufacturing,
- 19:26Speaker 1: Soft Bank, Open AI and Oracle five hundred billion all
- 19:30Speaker 1: AI infrastructure projects, Navidia a half a trillion dollars into
- 19:36Speaker 1: AI infrastructure and supercomputers, India investing a half a billion
- 19:41Speaker 1: and mutual trade expansion South Korea four hundred and fifty
- 19:45Speaker 1: billion US energy products, Micron two hundred billion semiconductor manufacturing
- 19:52Speaker 1: and research and development, IBM one hundred and fifty billion
- 19:56Speaker 1: of growth and manufacturing operations in the US. Pfizer seventy
- 20:01Speaker 1: billion into research, development and capital projects, and Google sixty
- 20:07Speaker 1: eight billion for AI infrastructure, electrician grants, hydro power facilities,
- 20:14Speaker 1: just to name a few. There are countless investments. I
- 20:17Speaker 1: could go on and on with Johnson, Johnson, Astrozenka, Bristol, Meyers, Squibb, Amazon, Hondai, Eli, Lilly.
- 20:26Speaker 1: The list is long. But what did the President do here?
- 20:29Speaker 1: He made it clear if you want to do business
- 20:32Speaker 1: in America, you need to invest in America. You can't
- 20:36Speaker 1: just export or import. You must be a real player
- 20:40Speaker 1: in this country. And that is exactly why the President
- 20:43Speaker 1: has made it possible through his leadership for the USC
- 20:46Speaker 1: a surge of private and foreign investments that are fueling
- 20:50Speaker 1: job growth, innovation, and opportunity across every corner of the country. So,
- 20:56Speaker 1: yet again, the President making good on a promise. Even
- 21:00Speaker 1: the media is trying to tell you that everything's terrible
- 21:03Speaker 1: in America, when the reality is we're moving in the
- 21:07Speaker 1: right direction. With the government shut down finally over. We're
- 21:12Speaker 1: now seeing the carnage of what happened in this country
- 21:16Speaker 1: during the longest government shut down in history. And there's
- 21:20Speaker 1: a very good chance there could be another shutdown coming
- 21:24Speaker 1: in early next year. Why because the radical left has
- 21:29Speaker 1: taken over the Democratic Party, which brings us to a
- 21:33Speaker 1: big takeaway of the government shutdown. And that is the
- 21:36Speaker 1: civil war that is taking place right now. AOC and
- 21:41Speaker 1: the Progressives are now turning on Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi.
- 21:47Speaker 1: It is an unprecedented moment of civil war for the
- 21:50Speaker 1: Democratic Party.
- 21:52Speaker 5: Now.
- 21:52Speaker 1: Chuck Schumer has been an establishment elitist liberal from New
- 21:57Speaker 1: York for decades. He is now coming under growing fire
- 22:02Speaker 1: after his handling of the recent governments shut down negotiations,
- 22:05Speaker 1: even though he voted against opening the government back up. Now,
- 22:10Speaker 1: in particular, the fact that a bipartison group of eight
- 22:13Speaker 1: Senate Democrats voted to reopen the government without securing key
- 22:18Speaker 1: Democrat demands healthcare substies for Obamacare that's out of control
- 22:23Speaker 1: and unaffordable. That is now the flashpoint for the radical left. Now,
- 22:29Speaker 1: the vote is seen by many progressive Democrats, you know,
- 22:33Speaker 1: the socialists, Communists and Marxists of the Democratic Party and
- 22:37Speaker 1: grassroots groups as capitulation to Republicans and Donald Trump. Many
- 22:44Speaker 1: now say they phil Schumer did not use the leverage
- 22:47Speaker 1: his caucus had, and then his signals are signals of weakness.
- 22:53Speaker 1: AOC publicly now questioning whether Schumer should remain in his
- 22:57Speaker 1: role as leader of the Senate, pointing to broader structural
- 23:01Speaker 1: issues in the Democratic Party. Other House Democrats Rocanna or
- 23:07Speaker 1: she Talib and even state leaders like Gavin Newsom and
- 23:11Speaker 1: Governor of New York Kathyochel have also now voiced discontent
- 23:17Speaker 1: with the extreme leftist Chuck Schumer. You can't make it
- 23:21Speaker 1: up now. Despite the pressure, Schumer has refused to step down,
- 23:26Speaker 1: insisting he made the tough call for the country and
- 23:30Speaker 1: the party.
- 23:31Speaker 5: Now.
- 23:31Speaker 1: Several currents are driving this internal revolt. Perceived lack of
- 23:36Speaker 1: a fight is number one. For many Democratic donors and
- 23:40Speaker 1: many younger and more progressive Democrats. The movement demands what well,
- 23:45Speaker 1: aggressive opposition, including violence against Donald Trump and any Republican
- 23:50Speaker 1: that gets in their way. The same people that celebrated
- 23:53Speaker 1: the assassination attempt on Donald Trump and celebrate the literal
- 23:58Speaker 1: assassination of Charlie. Schumer's strategy is being viewed as quote
- 24:03Speaker 1: too cautious or deferential by many of the radical leftists.
- 24:09Speaker 1: Organizational fatigue is another thing that's been quoted by Democratic insiders,
- 24:15Speaker 1: saying the Democratic base is just well frustrated with the
- 24:18Speaker 1: messaging that emphasizes tradition, processing, bipartisanship over radical bold wins.
- 24:25Speaker 1: Schumer's leadership style, they say, is well long overdue, long
- 24:29Speaker 1: tenure institutional relationships, and just not a good framework for
- 24:34Speaker 1: the Marxists and socialists that have taken over the party.
- 24:38Speaker 6: Now.
- 24:38Speaker 1: The shutdown fight was a leverage movement, they say, and
- 24:42Speaker 1: many believe that Chuck Schumer and his caucus could have
- 24:45Speaker 1: extracted more from Republicans but quote did not, which means
- 24:51Speaker 1: it's time for him to go. So what is the
- 24:54Speaker 1: status and what is the challenge to Chuck Schumer? Well,
- 24:58Speaker 1: at present, there's no formal motion in the Senate Caucus
- 25:02Speaker 1: to force Schumer to be out. Leadership changes typically come
- 25:06Speaker 1: via internal elections or a caucus vote, and we haven't
- 25:09Speaker 1: seen that yet. Now the pressure is clearly more public
- 25:15Speaker 1: and more signaling of what can come in the days
- 25:18Speaker 1: and weeks ahead. Progressive groups are going to war, and
- 25:22Speaker 1: even some members of Congress are now calling openly for
- 25:26Speaker 1: total new leadership. This as Nancy Pelosi has announced that
- 25:31Speaker 1: she will not seek reelection as well. Schumer's refusal, they
- 25:35Speaker 1: say to step down means well, the default remains him
- 25:39Speaker 1: in the role as leader of the Democratic Party unless
- 25:43Speaker 1: the size of a block of Senate Democrats move to
- 25:45Speaker 1: replace him. The coming months are gonna matter, and the
- 25:49Speaker 1: big question is will Chuck Schumer force a government shutdown
- 25:53Speaker 1: yet again come January. There are many Democrats that are saying,
- 25:57Speaker 1: we're willing to let you go to January, but if
- 26:00Speaker 1: you don't do it again and do a better job,
- 26:03Speaker 1: then we're done with you. And that may be one
- 26:06Speaker 1: of the silver linings of this government shutdown is we
- 26:10Speaker 1: are now witnessing a full blown civil war within the
- 26:14Speaker 1: Democratic Party. AOC by the way, may have been the
- 26:18Speaker 1: only Democratic winner from the government shutdown, raising her name
- 26:23Speaker 1: recognition and making it clear there's a very good chance
- 26:27Speaker 1: she could be the next Senator from New York, going
- 26:31Speaker 1: after Chuck Schumer's seat as well as his leadership role.
- 26:36Speaker 1: And that is what you can take away from the
- 26:39Speaker 1: government shutdown. I also want you to take a listen
- 26:42Speaker 1: to this conversation on Fox and Friends. It goes back
- 26:47Speaker 1: to the point I was making a moment ago, and
- 26:49Speaker 1: that is right now, the Democratic.
- 26:51Speaker 5: Party is in a civil war.
- 26:53Speaker 1: And they also didn't get what they claimed they actually
- 26:56Speaker 1: wanted from the government shutdown. Take a listen to how
- 27:01Speaker 1: they described it on Fox.
- 27:04Speaker 7: One point four million federal workers and we lost fourteen
- 27:06Speaker 7: billion out the economy. One point four million federal workers
- 27:10Speaker 7: going without pay. Besides that, what did the Democrats get
- 27:12Speaker 7: out of it?
- 27:12Speaker 5: If that was they knew that was going to happen,
- 27:15Speaker 5: and they wanted to do this longer. So I mean,
- 27:18Speaker 5: when you just said King Jeffery is going it's not over.
- 27:20Speaker 8: Yeah, it's over, but he's doing it for the progressive base.
- 27:25Speaker 8: But my thing is all these federal workers, they're unions
- 27:28Speaker 8: buying large, they support the Democrats, and they're still cheering
- 27:32Speaker 8: for the government to be shut down. At what point
- 27:34Speaker 8: do you pick your family over the party and say
- 27:37Speaker 8: I can't support these guys if they're going to keep
- 27:39Speaker 8: the government shut down. Just to get back at Trump
- 27:43Speaker 8: and say it's causing maximum pain this is the only
- 27:46Speaker 8: leverage that they have. You gotta stop supporting these people AFC.
- 27:49Speaker 9: She said that this is a coordinated effort between the
- 27:52Speaker 9: Democrats and the Republicans. The ones who voted with the Republicans.
- 27:56Speaker 9: There were eight in the Senate to vote with Republicans,
- 27:58Speaker 9: six in the House that voted with Publicans. And no,
- 28:01Speaker 9: it's just common sense. We want snap benefits to go
- 28:04Speaker 9: to the families that need it. We want you to
- 28:06Speaker 9: get your paycheck if you work for the federal government.
- 28:08Speaker 9: Here's a here are some reactions from AOC and some
- 28:12Speaker 9: of the progressive House members.
- 28:15Speaker 6: There's no one vote that ended this shutdown. We are
- 28:18Speaker 6: talking about a coordinated effort of eight senators with the
- 28:23Speaker 6: knowledge of Leader Schumer, voting to break with the entire
- 28:27Speaker 6: Democratic Party in exchange for nothing.
- 28:30Speaker 4: I think we're in an unprecedented moment that you know,
- 28:34Speaker 4: demands that we consider whether or not it's the time
- 28:37Speaker 4: for new leadership.
- 28:38Speaker 3: Do you think the Senate Democrats need a new leader?
- 28:42Speaker 5: Yes, there to do, but that's not in my hands.
- 28:45Speaker 5: I mean, they've got to have a lot of primaries.
- 28:47Speaker 5: I mean, you have.
- 28:49Speaker 7: With the Senator the Center from Massachusetts going to be challenged.
- 28:53Speaker 7: We know that for sure, looks like Chuck Schumer is
- 28:54Speaker 7: going to get a challenge. The whole push from these
- 28:57Speaker 7: angry left wing activists is to challenging these guys and
- 29:01Speaker 7: these women. In the primaries, they were somewhat moderate, and
- 29:04Speaker 7: I think that's why maybe Jeene Cheen retired, Gary Peters
- 29:08Speaker 7: is retiring, Dick Durbin's getting older, but he was retiring.
- 29:11Speaker 7: They know they're going to be challenged for more left wing,
- 29:13Speaker 7: more progressive candidates.
- 29:15Speaker 5: I think it's just bad for the country.
- 29:17Speaker 8: It was bad for the country, but I think it's
- 29:19Speaker 8: time to finally have this fight of the socialism versus
- 29:23Speaker 8: capitalism fight. I think if we really want to just
- 29:26Speaker 8: put it in his grave on a national level, we
- 29:30Speaker 8: need a strong candidate. Maybe it's JD. Vans and Marco
- 29:33Speaker 8: Rubill being together, whoever decides to win in the primary,
- 29:37Speaker 8: and we need strong Senate candidates to say this is
- 29:39Speaker 8: not American. This is where Seth Moulton, who used to
- 29:42Speaker 8: be considered a modern all because he wants the senencee
- 29:45Speaker 8: and Massachusetts, has turned into this radical lunatic now. And
- 29:49Speaker 8: it's I think it's a temporary solution to get to
- 29:52Speaker 8: the base. But when you run in the general election,
- 29:55Speaker 8: people are going to reject this.
- 29:56Speaker 9: Well, everyone's wondering what direction does the Democratic Party go.
- 30:00Speaker 9: They're divided who will be their new leader If Chuck Schumer,
- 30:03Speaker 9: if AOC primaries, so will it be AOC.
- 30:06Speaker 5: She was asked on.
- 30:07Speaker 9: Whether or not Chuck Schumer should remain the minority leader.
- 30:10Speaker 9: Listen as minority leader.
- 30:14Speaker 6: I think what is so important for folks to understand
- 30:18Speaker 6: is that this problem is bigger than one person, and
- 30:23Speaker 6: it actually is bigger than the minority leader in the Senate.
- 30:26Speaker 6: And Senate Democrats have selected their leadership to represent them,
- 30:31Speaker 6: and so the question needs to be bigger than just
- 30:34Speaker 6: one person. We have several Senate primaries this cycle. I
- 30:39Speaker 6: know I'm being asked about New York that is years
- 30:41Speaker 6: from now, after mind my own constituents, because they think
- 30:44Speaker 6: that this election is this year. We actually do have
- 30:46Speaker 6: Senate elections this year, and my hope is that people
- 30:49Speaker 6: across this country actually participate in their primary elections in
- 30:53Speaker 6: selecting their leadership. Thank you, really, thank you.
- 30:56Speaker 8: She's running. No comment is running, No commonis in Okay.
- 31:02Speaker 8: You know, I don't want to say just yet, but
- 31:04Speaker 8: I'm not saying that I'm not wrong.
- 31:06Speaker 7: It could be the Kamala Harris thing where Kamala Harris says, yea,
- 31:08Speaker 7: I'm not going to run for governor. Off to think
- 31:10Speaker 7: about it, because she wants to run for president. She
- 31:12Speaker 7: might be hedging because she might think that she has
- 31:14Speaker 7: the support to run for president, especially with the Seattle,
- 31:17Speaker 7: you know, the radical Seattle, the whole Enchilada. Yeah, I
- 31:20Speaker 7: think she might see a window. You know, ever since
- 31:23Speaker 7: Chris Christie waited and then missed the window, I think
- 31:27Speaker 7: all these politicians are afraid of missing their window.
- 31:29Speaker 5: If she sees that window, I think she runs.
- 31:32Speaker 7: And I think most likely what's gonna happen is it's
- 31:34Speaker 7: going to be a midterm election. Chuck Schrumeroll announced he's
- 31:37Speaker 7: not running for reelection, and I think that would open the.
- 31:40Speaker 5: Door for she can't.
- 31:41Speaker 1: This is the civil war happening within the Democratic Party.
- 31:45Speaker 1: And it's not just in New York, it's all over
- 31:49Speaker 1: the country. The Democratic Party is dead. I've been saying
- 31:53Speaker 1: this for a long time on this show. It is
- 31:55Speaker 1: the Marxists, the Socialists and the communists that have taken
- 31:59Speaker 1: over are now calling the shots and they're forcing out
- 32:03Speaker 1: their own leaders who actually gave them a platform at
- 32:08Speaker 1: the very beginning of all of this. Don't forget share
- 32:12Speaker 1: this podcast please with your family and your friends wherever
- 32:15Speaker 1: they are, and I will see you back here tomorrow.
