- 1:44Speaker 1: out to turn water water go. Come, come on your
- 1:59Speaker 1: thaa uh huh I show well a good morning everybody.
- 2:04Speaker 1: You're listening to the voice, Come on dig me now,
- 2:10Speaker 1: one and only. Steve Harvey got a radio show man
- 2:16Speaker 1: doing something with it too. You know, I'm quit saying
- 2:19Speaker 1: I'm trying. My wife told me the other day. She said, Steve,
- 2:22Speaker 1: stop saying you trying. She said, you're doing it. Son.
- 2:25Speaker 1: She told it to me just like that. She says, sir,
- 2:28Speaker 1: you are absolutely doing it. Stop saying you're trying. Uh.
- 2:32Speaker 1: You know what. I was talking to somebody the other
- 2:33Speaker 1: day and they said, trying. It's a noble way of
- 2:38Speaker 1: explaining your failure. Trying to say I tried or I'm trying.
- 2:45Speaker 1: It's a very noble way of explaining your failure of
- 2:50Speaker 1: not getting it done. And that's the true statement. You
- 2:53Speaker 1: ever heard somebody to say, well I tried. Well, then
- 2:56Speaker 1: people go, well long as you tried, well, you know,
- 2:59Speaker 1: you know, man, you're not getting it done, and you say, well,
- 3:02Speaker 1: I'm trying, but you ain't quite getting it done. But
- 3:06Speaker 1: it's a It sounds noble, though, don't it. I mean,
- 3:08Speaker 1: it's such a true statement. It's just trying is a
- 3:11Speaker 1: noble way of saying you ain't getting it done or
- 3:15Speaker 1: you failed. It's very noble to say I tried, I tried.
- 3:19Speaker 1: I tried to do my best, but that wasn't good enough.
- 3:22Speaker 1: I tried to make it, but I just didn't get there.
- 3:26Speaker 1: What good does that do the person that was waiting
- 3:30Speaker 1: on you to get there? What good does that do?
- 3:33Speaker 1: The group of people that was counting on you? What
- 3:36Speaker 1: good does that do? Your child sitting at the door
- 3:39Speaker 1: expecting daddy to show up and daddy was somewhere trying.
- 3:43Speaker 1: What good does that do? Nothing? So I'm Chris saying
- 3:47Speaker 1: it Steve Harvey got radio show, and I'm doing something
- 3:50Speaker 1: with it. Yes, So okay, now here's the deal. Today,
- 3:55Speaker 1: I got a good one for you because I was
- 3:58Speaker 1: thinking of my own life, which I use oftentimes in
- 4:01Speaker 1: my messaging, because I think that God has given me
- 4:05Speaker 1: the trials and tribulations that He has set for me,
- 4:08Speaker 1: so that when I start running my mouth and talking,
- 4:13Speaker 1: I have a clear cut understanding of what I'm talking about.
- 4:17Speaker 1: So here it is. This is what I want you
- 4:20Speaker 1: to do with your life, and this is what I
- 4:22Speaker 1: want you to start to considering about your life today.
- 4:28Speaker 1: And this is for all of us. Get a mission,
- 4:31Speaker 1: get a mission, man, get a purpose, get a higher calling.
- 4:37Speaker 1: Be about it. What's this all for? What you're waking
- 4:42Speaker 1: up in the morning? For Get at it today one
- 4:46Speaker 1: more time. Get a mission, get a purpose in your life,
- 4:50Speaker 1: find that higher calling of why you're here? Be about it?
- 4:55Speaker 1: What's it all for? Get at it today? Now, Steve,
- 4:59Speaker 1: you make his some big statements here. Uh uh yeah.
- 5:02Speaker 1: But oh you know I'm gonna clean it up for you,
- 5:04Speaker 1: don't you Because you know I don't just throw it
- 5:06Speaker 1: out there without the how to part. See, the how
- 5:09Speaker 1: to part is usually where most people stop. They tell you,
- 5:13Speaker 1: this is what you gotta do, is what you gotta do,
- 5:15Speaker 1: is what you gotta do. Then they don't tell you
- 5:17Speaker 1: how to. That's why I don't. I don't get off
- 5:20Speaker 1: the boat right there. Now. If you're trying to get
- 5:23Speaker 1: your life a mission and trying to figure out the
- 5:25Speaker 1: purpose and what the higher calling is it, and you
- 5:28Speaker 1: want to be about something, and you're trying to figure
- 5:31Speaker 1: out what's it all for, and you want to go
- 5:33Speaker 1: get at it today, here's the trick. God knows. God
- 5:38Speaker 1: knows the answers to all those questions. He knows what
- 5:43Speaker 1: your mission in life is. He already know what your
- 5:46Speaker 1: purpose is. He already know what the higher calling is.
- 5:49Speaker 1: He already know what you got to be about. He
- 5:52Speaker 1: already know what it's all for. He already know what
- 5:55Speaker 1: you need to go get at. God knows you know why.
- 5:59Speaker 1: He knows because He created you. And God created all
- 6:03Speaker 1: of us with the purpose in mind. Irregardless as to
- 6:06Speaker 1: how we were created, we were all created with the
- 6:09Speaker 1: purpose in mind. He got a mission for us, He
- 6:13Speaker 1: got something he wants from us, he got something he
- 6:16Speaker 1: expects of us. He has a life of abundance prepared
- 6:20Speaker 1: for each and every one of us that will lay
- 6:23Speaker 1: claim to it. Now, if you don't want that, then
- 6:26Speaker 1: go on and start making decisions on your own, possibly
- 6:30Speaker 1: like you have. Now, let me ask you something, since
- 6:33Speaker 1: you've been making all the decisions on your own or
- 6:35Speaker 1: you're at with it? How you feel about it every day?
- 6:38Speaker 1: How locked in on your mission? Are you? What? Are
- 6:41Speaker 1: you on a good purpose? Plan? You know? Do you
- 6:44Speaker 1: feel like your life is in a higher calling? Do
- 6:46Speaker 1: you know what you about? Do you have an understanding
- 6:49Speaker 1: of what it's all for? Are you up every day
- 6:52Speaker 1: going and getting at it? See? Come on now, So
- 6:56Speaker 1: now I'm asking you if you've done it without talking
- 7:00Speaker 1: to God or without checking in with your creator? Can
- 7:04Speaker 1: you answer all those questions? I can flat out tell
- 7:07Speaker 1: you can't. I know for a fact, you kate because
- 7:12Speaker 1: you can't know how good your life can be. And
- 7:18Speaker 1: you won't have a life as good as you wanted
- 7:21Speaker 1: to be until you have connected with the one that
- 7:24Speaker 1: created you. You bet you better understand this one now.
- 7:28Speaker 1: Please understand this ain't Steve just over here, rant and raven.
- 7:31Speaker 1: This is Steve. After having years of figuring this one out.
- 7:35Speaker 1: But it's it's all in the Bible, It's all in
- 7:38Speaker 1: holy writings. But you know I ain't got time for that.
- 7:44Speaker 1: Don't go church like I'm post to. Don't read the
- 7:47Speaker 1: Bible or or scrolls, or the Koran, or whatever your
- 7:51Speaker 1: faith is. You don't read all that it's in that all.
- 7:54Speaker 1: But we're humans, so we we go get at it
- 7:58Speaker 1: the way we see it. Let me tell you what
- 8:01Speaker 1: happened to me. See while I was getting at it
- 8:04Speaker 1: the way I saw it ought to be got at.
- 8:07Speaker 1: You understand me. When I was defining my purpose, when
- 8:11Speaker 1: I was creating my own mission, who when I was
- 8:15Speaker 1: laying claim to what my calling is in life? Let
- 8:18Speaker 1: me tell you what I was doing. I was deferring.
- 8:22Speaker 1: I was deferring the abundance that He really had for me.
- 8:26Speaker 1: I'm just now listen to me. I'm just now getting
- 8:31Speaker 1: at it for real. Oh I've been working towards it
- 8:33Speaker 1: all my life. I didn't know it though, But see,
- 8:36Speaker 1: because God is so merciful and so full of grace,
- 8:40Speaker 1: he allowed me to make all the mistakes I made.
- 8:43Speaker 1: And then and then when I finally came to him,
- 8:46Speaker 1: he said, all right, now tell you how cold I am.
- 8:48Speaker 1: Now this this God. Now I'm gonna tell you how
- 8:50Speaker 1: cold God is. He takes all the mistakes you made,
- 8:55Speaker 1: all the failures you made while you was making your
- 8:58Speaker 1: own decisions. He takes all of that and uses them
- 9:03Speaker 1: as valuable gained and learned experiences, and he takes that
- 9:07Speaker 1: and allows you to be who you are today. See,
- 9:10Speaker 1: God ain't gonna let you forget what you did. But
- 9:13Speaker 1: here's something cold too. He ain't gonna let what you
- 9:16Speaker 1: did go for not Oh, what's your safety? Let's see,
- 9:20Speaker 1: that's what's cold. See all the mistakes I made, every
- 9:25Speaker 1: lie I told, every traumatic experience I went through, I
- 9:29Speaker 1: put anybody through any time. Man, I was out there
- 9:34Speaker 1: tripping trying to justify that's right. He said, all right, okay,
- 9:39Speaker 1: But now, because of my mercy and my grace, what
- 9:45Speaker 1: I'm gonna do is I'm gonna allow all this to happen.
- 9:49Speaker 1: You're gonna waste a lot of time. You're gonna forfeit
- 9:52Speaker 1: a life of abundance that you could have been and had.
- 9:55Speaker 1: But I'll tell you what I'm gonna do. I'm gonna
- 9:57Speaker 1: take all of that and I'm gonna turn it into
- 9:59Speaker 1: some good it. So I'm gonna let all of these
- 10:02Speaker 1: lessons that you've learned, all of these hardships, all of
- 10:05Speaker 1: these moments are despabed come back and you'll use them
- 10:09Speaker 1: and you'll wear them on your head like a crown.
- 10:11Speaker 1: You're gonna it's gonna be jewels in your head. Man.
- 10:14Speaker 1: I'm gonna take all of that stuff and make you knowledgeable.
- 10:18Speaker 1: I'm gonna take all that stuff and make you wise. Man.
- 10:22Speaker 1: I'm gonna let you not take all that and go
- 10:24Speaker 1: get at it. See, but that only happens when you
- 10:27Speaker 1: come to God, because God is the only one that
- 10:30Speaker 1: knows what you've been through and how to take what
- 10:32Speaker 1: you've been through and turn it into something to help
- 10:35Speaker 1: you get through what you're going through. Hey, the only
- 10:38Speaker 1: one can do that. Ain't nobody else like him. There's
- 10:41Speaker 1: nothing like him on this world available to you, man,
- 10:45Speaker 1: So quit tripping yourself out, get over there and talk
- 10:48Speaker 1: to God. Man, quit waste in your life like I
- 10:50Speaker 1: was doing. Stop. I'm telling you He'll let you get
- 10:53Speaker 1: at it, and can't nobody let you get at it
- 10:55Speaker 1: like him. All right, let's right, you're listening, Steve, and
- 11:02Speaker 1: that is a gentleman. Boys and girls, listen to me.
- 11:06Speaker 1: People everywhere, let me have your undivided attention, because what's
- 11:10Speaker 1: about to pop off right now don't necessarily have to
- 11:13Speaker 1: pop off, but it's going down. Though it's going down.
- 11:17Speaker 1: It is what it is. Come on with it, don't stop,
- 11:21Speaker 1: get it, get it right. This is no longer rum.
- 11:25Speaker 1: You know what we do this this We're in the
- 11:27Speaker 1: middle of it right now. People talking about it now.
- 11:30Speaker 1: Tommy used to say it, we're about to pop the
- 11:34Speaker 1: pop pop off. We're about to pop the pop the
- 11:39Speaker 1: pop off. That's what you see is It's Friday, man,
- 11:48Speaker 1: It's super Bowl weekend. Everybody got come on, parties. We're
- 11:53Speaker 1: gonna be talking about what we're gonna eat, what we're
- 11:55Speaker 1: gonna do, where we're gonna be. We're gonna find out
- 11:58Speaker 1: all that. Hello Sherley of Steve, Happy Friday, what's up?
- 12:04Speaker 1: Happy Friday? Crew? My little understudy morning ready having it?
- 12:12Speaker 1: What's done? And the food top of them? On another Well,
- 12:21Speaker 1: super Bowl weekend, parties in place, people doing things, people
- 12:26Speaker 1: moving around. We're not gonna discuss the president today. We
- 12:30Speaker 1: already know. Carlin had predicted last week that he would
- 12:35Speaker 1: be saying exactly what he's saying right there at his
- 12:39Speaker 1: State of the Union address was the most watched presidential
- 12:44Speaker 1: address in the history of president. Of course, he's allergic
- 12:51Speaker 1: to the truth. He is the truth makes him sick,
- 12:58Speaker 1: breaks out a hive. Ain't what it is he wants us.
- 13:03Speaker 1: We got to believe everything. He's safe. It ain't no
- 13:06Speaker 1: where in the hell you can't. I just said it
- 13:09Speaker 1: did not It has nothing to do with the truth.
- 13:14Speaker 1: He wants us to lack him as much as he
- 13:17Speaker 1: likes himself, and that's not happening. No, no, I'm not
- 13:21Speaker 1: doing it. You ain't have to lie, Craig. He made
- 13:33Speaker 1: a statement for us to sort it out. But he'll
- 13:36Speaker 1: say something no, it ain't true, and just leave and
- 13:38Speaker 1: move over to the next golaud that no collusion and
- 13:43Speaker 1: then stick that stupid gin up in there, like did
- 13:46Speaker 1: you see that smug? He'll be looking just as smug
- 13:54Speaker 1: made a statement to end statement. Here's the only thing
- 13:59Speaker 1: I wanted to say about it now, I said I
- 14:01Speaker 1: wouldn't wanna talk about it. We've been talking about I've
- 14:04Speaker 1: never seen the president clap mo for his Damn he
- 14:09Speaker 1: was applauding. Bro, you're not supposed to do that. You're clapping.
- 14:15Speaker 1: It's so deep with him that he claps for himself. Yeah,
- 14:21Speaker 1: like one of those comedians Steve Huh, Yeah, have you
- 14:27Speaker 1: heard that? You heard that? All right? Coming up, coming
- 14:30Speaker 1: up at two after the hour, something funny. I'm gonna
- 14:34Speaker 1: talk about Quincy Jones and Groundhog Day. Okay, those two
- 14:38Speaker 1: things they don't go together, I know, I know. Looking
- 14:42Speaker 1: for you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Alright,
- 14:47Speaker 1: something funny. You know, we're waiting to see if the
- 14:50Speaker 1: world's most famous groundhog in about an hour from now, Actually,
- 14:54Speaker 1: if he's going to if we'll find out if Punk
- 14:56Speaker 1: Satani Phil, we'll see shadow today. This is oh waiting,
- 15:01Speaker 1: We're telling you. Growing up in Chicago, this was one
- 15:05Speaker 1: of the most important days of my life. Can you
- 15:08Speaker 1: eat the ground Cleveland, Shirley, I kind of looked forward to. Yeah, North.
- 15:15Speaker 1: So if the groundhog sees a shadow, and then there
- 15:17Speaker 1: will be six more weeks of winter weather. If he's
- 15:19Speaker 1: there's gonna be six more weeks of win in Chicago.
- 15:22Speaker 1: I don't give it about that ground with a phone,
- 15:35Speaker 1: six mon punks, the Tawny Phil Punks, the Tawny Phil.
- 15:42Speaker 1: So if he doesn't see a shadow, there will be
- 15:44Speaker 1: an early spring. It's just the same hole from last year. Yes, yes, yes,
- 15:51Speaker 1: it's the same honk from the movie. How about that?
- 15:53Speaker 1: I used to didn't know that he punts because when
- 15:59Speaker 1: he went up and he saw a shadow and they
- 16:01Speaker 1: said six more weeks. My brother used to call him
- 16:04Speaker 1: polk as We've got six more weeks of this and
- 16:13Speaker 1: he going out to do and go to work. So
- 16:15Speaker 1: I always this is an important day right here. But
- 16:19Speaker 1: I don't know if you guys have heard about this.
- 16:21Speaker 1: We're gonna move on now. Music legend. One of the
- 16:24Speaker 1: most prolific producers music producers in the entire world, Quincy Jones.
- 16:30Speaker 1: We know he's had a long, extensive career in music,
- 16:33Speaker 1: but there's another area of his life we didn't know
- 16:36Speaker 1: much about. I'm talking about his love life. Uh. Quincy
- 16:39Speaker 1: opened up in an interview with g Q magazine. It
- 16:42Speaker 1: was posted on Monday. Quincy says he's been married three
- 16:45Speaker 1: times previously. I think we knew that, but yeah, but
- 16:50Speaker 1: he also revealed, and this was the bombshell bombshell j
- 16:54Speaker 1: that he currently has twenty two girlfriends. Steve Harvey, what

- 17:18Speaker 1: Why he's only one man and he got to he's
- 17:26Speaker 1: eighty four. Every day. He is the producer of thriller.
- 17:32Speaker 1: I know, did no play. I know. I remember meeting him.
- 17:35Speaker 1: He was very charming, very you could he was very charming, gentleman.
- 17:47Speaker 1: He was very charming. Uh, and he had great stories
- 17:51Speaker 1: to tell. Because he's been in the music business. He
- 17:53Speaker 1: knows everyone. He reels yeah, if it's okay. So when

- 27:06Speaker 1: Now there's one more person that's on the schedule on
- 27:09Speaker 1: the room. One more personally. They're doing the threesome. I'm

- 31:28Speaker 1: his burrow and if he sees his shadow, Steve, there
- 31:31Speaker 1: will be six more weeks of winter weather. If he

- 32:59Speaker 1: We know all this working on him. He has an
- 33:01Speaker 1: inner circle. Men with the top hats. They take care
- 33:05Speaker 1: of Phil. They'll tell us the whole tradition. Yeah, every
- 33:09Speaker 1: year to February sending, they take care of him. This
- 33:15Speaker 1: is bothering them. Like you guys, room and in trucks
- 33:30Speaker 1: come to your house better than black people, say, man,

- 33:55Speaker 1: black people had to take care of somewhere? Come by
- 34:01Speaker 1: that whole? You see it real? They said it about
- 34:05Speaker 1: the whole bring out running and his name ain't feel
- 34:08Speaker 1: it's rigid, man, I'll be bad. You're right, don't. Nobody
- 34:19Speaker 1: started walking dogs about maybe fifteen twenty years ago. Walk No, damn,
- 34:25Speaker 1: you didn't see nobody walking no dog. No, I never
- 34:31Speaker 1: They've been walking dogs. And you're not supposed to change.
- 34:35Speaker 1: Yeah in the day he was changing. No, it's back
- 34:37Speaker 1: in the day. It's back where you live, where I live.
- 34:40Speaker 1: And not supposed to chain a dog, was cha? They
- 34:44Speaker 1: just white people? Still ain't pooper scoop? All right? Please
- 34:51Speaker 1: we gotta girl missing introducer. Please, ladies and gentlemen, our
- 34:57Speaker 1: very own news authority MS and trip we apologize things.
- 35:03Speaker 1: That's okay, that's all right, Good morning, everybody, This is
- 35:06Speaker 1: a trip with the news. Well, looks like President Trump
- 35:09Speaker 1: intends to authorize release later today that controversial memo related
- 35:12Speaker 1: to the Russian investigation. And that's contrary to what his
- 35:15Speaker 1: handpicked FBI director wants him to do. He doesn't want
- 35:18Speaker 1: that to happen. It poorly makes it look as if
- 35:20Speaker 1: both the FBI and the Justice Department and properly conducted
- 35:23Speaker 1: surveillance of the Trump election campaign with a bias against
- 35:27Speaker 1: the reality TV star. The memo was written by the
- 35:29Speaker 1: Republican Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, Devin Nonez, and
- 35:33Speaker 1: House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi. Says it misrepresents the actions
- 35:36Speaker 1: of the FBI and the Justice Department, and that by
- 35:39Speaker 1: pushing for the release of the darn thing, Nunez has
- 35:41Speaker 1: endangered the country and violated the rules of Congress. Totally irresponsible.
- 35:46Speaker 1: I do believe that the chairman of the Intelligence committing Mr.
- 35:48Speaker 1: Noonis should be taken out of that office. Meanwhile, the
- 35:52Speaker 1: Democrats on the House Intelligence Committee have also written a
- 35:55Speaker 1: memo on the situation, but the Republicans are refusing to
- 35:58Speaker 1: release their's president out. By the way, he's been feeling
- 36:00Speaker 1: pretty good about things lately, especially this week. In fact,
- 36:03Speaker 1: he told fellow Republicans at the GOP policy Retreat in
- 36:06Speaker 1: West Virginia that he's never seen the party so united.
- 36:08Speaker 1: He talked about his accomplishments this year. He told the
- 36:11Speaker 1: group that veteran centator or in Hatch told him that
- 36:13Speaker 1: he was the greatest president in history. He said once,
- 36:16Speaker 1: I am the single greatest president in his lifetime. Now
- 36:19Speaker 1: he's a young man, so it's not that much. But
- 36:22Speaker 1: and he actually once said I'm the greatest president in
- 36:24Speaker 1: the history of our country. And I said, does that
- 36:26Speaker 1: in through Lincoln and Washington? He said yes. I said,
- 36:29Speaker 1: I love this guy. Yeah. And of course we've been
- 36:32Speaker 1: down this road before. President Trump is claiming that his
- 36:35Speaker 1: State of the Union speech was the highest rated in history,
- 36:38Speaker 1: even though it wasn't. Trump's tweeted quote, four forty five
- 36:41Speaker 1: point six million people watched, highest number in history. Well,
- 36:44Speaker 1: the folks at Nielsen begged to differ form. President Obama
- 36:47Speaker 1: drew forty eight million viewers, and the largest audience, hands down,
- 36:50Speaker 1: watched Bill Clinton State of the Union speech in whopping
- 36:54Speaker 1: sixties six point nine million people. So no, not even close.
- 36:58Speaker 1: I'm sorry, Sarah. National Transfer Asian Safety Board conducting an investigation.
- 37:01Speaker 1: Is just what caused that train carrying GOP lawmakers to
- 37:04Speaker 1: that retreat to smash into the garbage truck. They say
- 37:07Speaker 1: something about the signal there was wrong. The klu Klux
- 37:10Speaker 1: klansmen responsible for one of the most infamous civil rights
- 37:13Speaker 1: murders has died in the Mississippi prison and ninety two
- 37:16Speaker 1: Edgar Ray killing or the killings of James Cheney, Andrew Goodman,
- 37:19Speaker 1: and Michael Swerner, civil rights workers who were ambushed by
- 37:22Speaker 1: a bunch of klansmen in the Shoba County, Mississippi in
- 37:25Speaker 1: nineteen four. And finally, today is Groundhog Day and Super
- 37:28Speaker 1: Bowl weekend, so let's check in with puns of tawny
- 37:31Speaker 1: pill Phil. By the way, groundhogs are actually wrote and
- 37:37Speaker 1: snot pigs. Twenty miss after hour comes Eugene the Butterfly.
- 37:40Speaker 1: Say to to Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening to
- 37:44Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, Stephen, it's time
- 37:47Speaker 1: to introduce the Butterfly. Uh please? Well please don't do
- 37:50Speaker 1: the day? Do you know the do? Good morning everyone,
- 37:56Speaker 1: Stephen to Yes you can, Stephen. What what happened to
- 38:03Speaker 1: this call? And you was talking about you being called
- 38:06Speaker 1: to preach? Did you get that worked out? Well? I'm
- 38:08Speaker 1: still you know, um, you know I've been working on
- 38:11Speaker 1: my first sermon. But I'm sorry. What what is Fanny Charley?
- 38:18Speaker 1: I'm listening? Thank you. So I'm working on my first sermon.
- 38:24Speaker 1: I'm not sure if I want to go with butterflies
- 38:26Speaker 1: rise coming out of um just right there, coming out.
- 38:33Speaker 1: If you just do that, you're gonna have a lot
- 38:36Speaker 1: of people sitting up at the church. Well, but I
- 38:40Speaker 1: need help on the hooping part, because I think that's
- 38:42Speaker 1: why people get fascinated, you know, right, yeah, but listen
- 38:47Speaker 1: to me. It's it's really based, uh, Eugene, or what
- 38:51Speaker 1: you're saying. And if your content isn't compelling, spiritually moving, motivating,
- 38:59Speaker 1: inspirational and the uplifting, the hooping will it falls on
- 39:03Speaker 1: his face. It's for no reason. But if I preach
- 39:05Speaker 1: on let him use you, well, okay, we'll give me
- 39:07Speaker 1: an example of what you must say that kind of
- 39:10Speaker 1: time and like that kind of time and like when
- 39:15Speaker 1: you need to let him use you. I said, let
- 39:17Speaker 1: him use, let him use, let him house. You see,
- 39:24Speaker 1: that's not it wasn't scripture that that's not gonna do it.
- 39:29Speaker 1: That's just one. It doesn't have. You want some hooping
- 39:32Speaker 1: on that, you're gonna have to do it yourself. There
- 39:35Speaker 1: were no life examples and there's nothing you need all
- 39:38Speaker 1: of that in there, and it wasn't tied to a scripture. Okay,
- 39:41Speaker 1: tie things to a scripture. Yeah, and then if you've
- 39:46Speaker 1: been called, Yeah, why y'all think I haven't been called
- 39:51Speaker 1: because you sound like I don't know what you're doing, right,
- 39:54Speaker 1: But it was on the other end of the ain't
- 39:58Speaker 1: no where in the world. It wasn't aiming here and
- 40:00Speaker 1: bypass Steve Harvey to call you. Clearly, I know I
- 40:04Speaker 1: have not. But he's gonna buy pass Steve and go
- 40:06Speaker 1: get you, Gene. That's all I'm saying. Yeah, I see
- 40:09Speaker 1: he going to Vegas and just a short few calling me.
- 40:17Speaker 1: You're stupid, Steve every time I walk past the table, Steve, Huh.
- 40:28Speaker 1: I want you to help me with my first sermon.
- 40:29Speaker 1: I really do so. First of all, I know I
- 40:32Speaker 1: need to tie it. I know I'm calling you out.
- 40:35Speaker 1: Ask the person who called you call us and all right, yeah,
- 40:38Speaker 1: thank you, butterfly. We'll work on that. Coming up at
- 40:42Speaker 1: thirty four after the hour of j Anthony Brown is
- 40:44Speaker 1: here to murder another hit. I think I think I'm
- 40:47Speaker 1: not hip coming got him. Maddie, you're listening to Steve
- 40:55Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. Well, if you're just waking up on
- 40:58Speaker 1: this groundhog Day, Happy roundhog Day, by the way, punks
- 41:01Speaker 1: and Tony Phil. Yes he did, Steve Harvey, he saw
- 41:04Speaker 1: his shadow. So that means six more weeks of miserable winter. Anyway,
- 41:15Speaker 1: come on, Steve introduced j to murder another hit. We're
- 41:20Speaker 1: still in winter. We're still in winter? Is here six
- 41:23Speaker 1: months showing or not? All right? Please come on, Steve,
- 41:28Speaker 1: and she did, Jay it is time for him to
- 41:30Speaker 1: murder another hit j B. First of all, let me
- 41:35Speaker 1: thank sherl Underwood for coming to the JA spot. Last
- 41:39Speaker 1: two Rob in the house shop Ben wouldn't get off,
- 41:47Speaker 1: and she was up there for the longest, really, Steve, Steve,
- 41:53Speaker 1: it was embarrassing. She was just going on, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait,
- 41:57Speaker 1: another thing, one more thing, one more thing like that
- 42:00Speaker 1: was distracted. Yeah, stop get stood at us. She wouldn't

- 47:26Speaker 1: doing at my house? Now? What? What? What? Really? Then

- 47:32Speaker 1: know what's going on. Let me go on, let you
- 47:34Speaker 1: know that, Carlod, I do know what's going on. I

- 55:33Speaker 1: that that movie, he was the same day every day.
- 55:39Speaker 1: You didn't like that movie, Stay that was good. Kept
- 55:42Speaker 1: waking up in the same day. Man, I couldn't understand,
- 55:45Speaker 1: you know, he couldn't. He can't suspend believe, he cannot.
- 55:48Speaker 1: It has to be real to him. That's what the
- 55:50Speaker 1: movie was. Yeah, he kept waking up at six o'clock
- 55:52Speaker 1: in the same day. You know, he didn't fit out
- 55:57Speaker 1: was the same day like four or five days. Yeah,
- 56:00Speaker 1: they start doing everything. You drove his truck off the cliff.
- 56:05Speaker 1: I can understand that. I'm laughing at Steve because what
- 56:09Speaker 1: was the other movie, that Denzel's movie where he played
- 56:12Speaker 1: the blind guy. Oh, he didn't know and he got
- 56:17Speaker 1: mad at that one. Watched it three times. I didn't
- 56:21Speaker 1: know he was black, No idea, he would me neither.
- 56:25Speaker 1: When you shot the bird out, the guys like, okay,
- 56:28Speaker 1: this you he was blind? He do all that walk
- 56:33Speaker 1: open the doors and what he was that good? Yeahs
- 56:40Speaker 1: then yes, yeah, Then I watched the fourth time, watching
- 56:44Speaker 1: it as he blind. You still didn't get it, couldn't see,
- 56:49Speaker 1: just squinting the whole damn movie. I watched it from
- 56:56Speaker 1: the opening moment. Okay, Steve, he blind, let's go ship
- 57:02Speaker 1: watch it and locked in and was sitting there door
- 57:05Speaker 1: just squitting the whole damn movie. A matter of fact,
- 57:08Speaker 1: I quit enjoy the movie. Yeah, and wit join no
- 57:13Speaker 1: more because I kept trying to figure out how did
- 57:15Speaker 1: he notice the white girl? By the way, congratulations to
- 57:21Speaker 1: Denzel by the way, he's nominated again for Roman. Jake
- 57:24Speaker 1: Israel esquire that you didn't, Oh of course I did.
- 57:33Speaker 1: That affro was a little too big, just a little
- 57:38Speaker 1: too big in the movie. Yeah, yeah, you ain't no
- 57:42Speaker 1: seventies dude, Tommy, you know that the afro was nowhere
- 57:44Speaker 1: near big that one big that you forgot when you
- 57:49Speaker 1: had hair. Huh. Take us to the letter. That's how
- 57:52Speaker 1: you want to do it. That's the transition right there,
- 57:54Speaker 1: bucking and hold on type, we got to pull you here.
- 57:56Speaker 1: It is the strong subject my Valentine Stake President, Dear
- 58:00Speaker 1: Steve and friends, my husband and I have been together
- 58:03Speaker 1: for four years and married for one year. Now. We're
- 58:06Speaker 1: raising three young children, with one on the way. I
- 58:09Speaker 1: am taking part time classes at a local college and
- 58:12Speaker 1: work part time. My husband works full time. I think
- 58:15Speaker 1: we know each other very well. In fact, any time
- 58:18Speaker 1: I need something, he's all right on top. He's always
- 58:21Speaker 1: right on time with it, and I to him. He
- 58:24Speaker 1: has a devoted father and a hard worker. His passion
- 58:27Speaker 1: is with firearms and his new government security job. He
- 58:32Speaker 1: has his own collection of firearms and military armory. All
- 58:35Speaker 1: I can say is that if he were ever called
- 58:38Speaker 1: into duty on our home front, he would be more
- 58:40Speaker 1: than suited. But I think he had a relapse in
- 58:43Speaker 1: his memory bank. Valentine's Day is supposed to being It's
- 58:48Speaker 1: supposed to be romance and love, but instead from me
- 58:52Speaker 1: this year, I got cold steel. He is usually more
- 58:55Speaker 1: thoughtful and organized. He asked me what I wanted this year,
- 58:59Speaker 1: and I said it's some perfume, maybe dinner, a movie,
- 59:01Speaker 1: just something special and for just us two. He took
- 59:07Speaker 1: that insight and brought me a handgun. Hello, this is
- 59:14Speaker 1: not what I asked for. Granted, I love going out
- 59:16Speaker 1: with him, fishing and shooting at the range. But Valentine's
- 59:19Speaker 1: Day is for romantic gestures and gifts of love. Well,
- 59:22Speaker 1: I think he means well, but good god, I think
- 59:26Speaker 1: we have enough firearms in the home now. We are
- 59:29Speaker 1: very careful and responsible with the arms that we have
- 59:31Speaker 1: in the home now. But outside of the home, you
- 59:33Speaker 1: never know what you will encounter. He always said that
- 59:37Speaker 1: he was going to buy me one for my own
- 59:38Speaker 1: personal protection for times that we are not together, but
- 59:41Speaker 1: I didn't think it would come on Valentine's Day. I'm
- 59:44Speaker 1: not a picky person or even ungrateful, but come on, Jesus,
- 59:49Speaker 1: he should have had a clue. I want to tell
- 59:51Speaker 1: him that I love the gift, but the timing was
- 59:54Speaker 1: way off. How can I tell him without hurting his feelings?
- 59:58Speaker 1: Your friend, well, your friends, this is a first. Um.
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: You're right, A handgun is not your typical it is
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: not your typical Valentine's gift. You've got a good man.
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: You said, he's a good provider, devoted dad, dependable. He
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: just doesn't listen. Apparently. How we got handgun out of perfume,
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: dinner and movie, I don't know. I just think he
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: was trying to be different, you know, give you something
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: to talk about Valentine's is the day for lovers in
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: romance and since this is his passion, um, you know,
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: he just wanted you to share it with him in
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: this way. You yourself said, He's usually thoughtful and very organized,
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: so it's his passion. He wanted, you know, you guys
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: to be together on this thing. I couldn't end my
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: response though, without voicing my concern about handguns in the house. Okay,
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: we hear time and time again about accidents happening in
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: the house. Even though you guys say you're very responsible
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: with the guns you have in the home, you never know.
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: Accidents happen, especially with young children. It is your home
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: to enough is enough? Even one hand gun can cause
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: some problems, and I just asked you to think about that, Steve.
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: I don't have adequate enough time to really tet this
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: down and explain to you what's happening in your relationship.
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: This ain't Gary Wow. Let me just start before we
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: go to break cranking up. Your husband and I have
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: been together for four years and been married for one
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: We are raising three young children, with one on the wait.
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: I am thinking that a lot of love making has
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: been going on at gunpoint, No man, now unless theseus kids,
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: y'all had been four four years married, four years together,
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: one year married, three kids already one on. Somebody got
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: to lay down when they don't feel like said lay down.
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: I said, lay down. A lot of babies in a
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: four year span. People really don't do that. No more
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: like Sister Clemens that I had church. Sister Clemmons, what
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: about it was? Was pregnant every year every single year.
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: Yea guns at her house too, No what, none of that.
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: But let's just say when she was in the basement
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: at the Big Sail and had her April, it was
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: a sight. Got to do with this? I don't know.
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: I just got to thinking about Sister Clement, and Lord,
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: that much all the babies took a toll on teeth
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: was bad. You're listening morning, okay, Steve. Come on, let's
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: get to part two of your response to today's Strawberry
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: letter Valentine's Day Presidents is subjected Steven, Friends, my husband
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: and I've been together four years and married for one year. Now.
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: We're raising three young children with one on the way.
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: I'm taking part. I've already told you how I feel
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: about that. I'm taking part time classes at a local college,
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: and I work part time. My husband works full time.
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: I think we know each other very well. In fact,
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: any time I need something, he is always right on
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: time with it, and I told him. He is a
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: devoted father and a hard worker. His passion is his
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: firearm and his new government security job. He has his
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: own collection of firearms and military armor. All I can
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: say is that we ever called into duty on our
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: home front, he would be more than suited. But I
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: think he had a relapse in his memory. Bank Valentine's Day,
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: It's supposed to be romance and love, but it stard
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: for me. This year, I got cold steel. He is
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: usually more thoughtful and organized. He asked me what I
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: wanted this you and I said some perfume, maybe dinner
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: or move it just something special and just us too.
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: He took that insight and bought me a handgun. Hello,
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: this is not what I have for. Not granted, I
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: love going out with him fishing and shooting at the range,
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: but Valentine's Day is for romantic justice and give some blove. Well,
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: I think he means well, but good god, I think
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: he I think we have enough firearms in the home now.
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: We are very careful and responsible with the arms that
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: we have in the home now, but outside of the home,
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: you never know what you would encounter. He always said
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: that he was going to buy me one from my
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: own personal protection for times when we are not together,
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: but I didn't think it would come on Valentine's Day.
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: I'm not a picky person or even ungrateful, but come on, Jesus,
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: he should have had a clue. I want to tell
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: him that I love a gift, but the time it
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: was a way off. How can I tell him this
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: without hurting it? Feelings, your friends, you have got to
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: look into this letter. Like I said, the years and
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: the mount of kids. I'm assuming maybe y'all had these
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: kids were both. If not, I can only assume that
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: a lot of love making, as I said, has been
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: under gun point. You're gonna lay down. You're gonna lay
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: down now, but scary at the same time. Right, and
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: then you work part time, go to school part time.
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: Your husband works fol times his he's a devoted father.
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: But here's what the letter just takes its own life.
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: His passion is with firearms and his new government security.
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: Y'all right there, Your man love his pistols and his
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: new government security y'all, which enables him to carry a
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: gun obviously when authorization from the government. Come on, boy,
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: we can stop reading right now because you have said
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: that your man's passion, it's his firearms and his new
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: government job, not you, not two kids. He's a devoted
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: father and a provider. But like I told you about
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: men and women, I can prove it to you all along.
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: There are the three piece of manhood that show us
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: that we determine our Number one is our professing. If
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: we say we love you, if we're willing to tell
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: people we love you, introduce you as our woman, our wife,
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: our girl, whatever. That's the first sign, you man. The
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: second sign is that he is a provider. The third
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: pie of manhood is he is there to protect you,
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: your honor, your family, two kids. Well, he's doing that.
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: That's what he's built to do, except he's taking it
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: to the extreme now for Valentine's he's crazy. Asked Tom
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: when out and brought you a handgun? Your man, stupid?
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: That's just your man, stupid. You put them on now,
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: don't just don't sound stupid to you. You tell you man,
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: you want some perfume. Maybe then I'm moving just something
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: special for just us to he gonna get your ass
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: a hand gone, baby, because I heard what you said you,
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: but I haven't thought it though, and I would rather
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: give you a damn pistol. I love you so much.
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: I can't see you what I want packed off in
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: your purse, little seven. Ain't no way I'm gonna let
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: the woman I am here to protect walk around without
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: a pistol. I love you that much when we're making
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: love how we make Look, don't I have a gun
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: upside your head? You know I love you and I
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: got guns all over the house, Eriie, Don't I care
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: you down to the fine range? Yes? Baby, and I go.
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: But and shut up Dean, And don't I love you?
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: She's so mad about this, but it's controlled and she
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: knows she made to a full life. What you say?
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: All right? Thank you, Steve. You know we gotta get
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: out of here. We gotta go Email us or Instagram.
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: That's your thoughts on today's Strawberry letter at my girl
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: Shirley switching gears now Well. Super Bowl commercials still matter,
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: Yes they do. About a hundred and twelve million people
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: watch last year's Super Bowl to get ready. Some big
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: commercials are planned for this year too, and MS will
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: have Danny de Vito swimming in a pool of chocolate. However,
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: you heard me. However, other companies don't want to spend
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: that money on TV, like Skittles, for example. Uh, they're
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: opting for a special media gimmick instead. Uh. Skittles is
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: showing its Super Bowl add to a single teenager in
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: California and then broadcasting his reaction on the brand's Facebook page.
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: I love Skittles. Can't do nothing for me. Yeah, I've
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: never beast Mode here. You're talking about them skills like
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: that he would eat a banana while national anthem player. Yeah,
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: you think I'm concerned about his judgment? Hellower Mode a playoff.
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: I ain't even like skitles cause I'm scared of coming up.
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: In ten minutes, we're gonna have a National Council of
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: Chicken Wing Report, and we're gonna talk about the big game,
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: the Super Bowl. Super Bowl fifty two is this Sunday.
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: We'll talk about it right after this. You're listening to
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, this Sunday, we've
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: been talking about it all day. Is Super Bowl fifty
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: two at the US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: Philadelphia Eagles versus Yes, Sir versus the New England Patriots,
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: five thirty pm Easter at five pm five thirty pm
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: Central Standard Time on NBC. Did you get that five
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: thirty because I stumbled by thirty pm Central Standard time
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: on NBC. Really got to be up by molding one touchdown,
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: two touchdowns, three minutes left. You got to be up
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: by two touchdown, right. I see an interview with Tom Brady.
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: He said that they're going to start uh winning in
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: the beginning. He wants them to do it. You know
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: what I'm really concerned about. And I kid you not
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: because I'm Philly all the way. Uh uh. Just watching
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: the news conferences and everything. I think the players, man,
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: they're trying to create an era that they really loose.
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: I just think, man, for the Super Bowl, there's a
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: lot of the players first time from the Eagles, and
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: there's a distinct difference the way they're acting than the
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: way the Patriots are acting. You know, they're wearing all
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: the dog masks, and then the dude on TV the
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: other day with the mask and mask that that the
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: his Mexican friends send him with the wrestling mask on
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: and told him he gave him superpowers and doing interviews
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: like that, Belichick having to let that happen, and I
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: think that Philly I show. Hope I'm wrong, man, because
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: I won't feel you to win so bad. But I
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: just not really sure about as much playing as the
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: Philly players are doing. I'm not sure about that. Man.
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: Patriots are more focused. They've been here, they've been there,
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: they know how to do it. A large percentage of
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: their players have played before and know and they know
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: how to handle a hooplah of the super Bowl. It's
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: new to a lot of the Eagles players, and I
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: think I'm just watching it. It could be shaded the
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: way they're reporting it, but it just seems a little
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: bit more playful this going on on the Eagles part.
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: I hope it keeps them loosing. They play their ball game,
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: because man, I won't Philly to win this time with
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: everything in there. But I am concerned right now with
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: the players. I think it's time, look, man, the game.
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: Let's go. All these interviews and let's go. They haven't
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: had the press date ever. Take all these masks off,
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: even know the real Philly players. It could be somebody else.
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: A lot of it's got something to do with Cleveland. Yeah,
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: because somebody need can win something this year that I
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: love and care about. Calms don't get the business together.
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: And we need to train who y'all trying to train?
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: We know, well we need we need to get a player.
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: Isaiah got to get his time in together. You know,
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: love got broken hand, he out for a while. We
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: need Anthony Davis. Yeah, y'all couldn't use that from the Pelicans.
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: Who y'all gonna get ship out? Who are you taking
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: ship out? Who they want? You gotta you gotta let
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: out four or five people go for him? But but
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: who they had love? Love for Anthony Davis? What about you?
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: Almost from the cup? You know, if we weren't on
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: the oil, you got a head full of it, you'd
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: be trying to sort it out. Yeah, we need Anthony Davis.
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: Got to have him. His contract coming up. Cousins is out. Yeah,
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: So I don't know, man, they're talking about Lebron may
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: not stay in Cleveland. Where would he go? Dog Golden
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: State there? You know, I think he'll go Houston. We
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: would be glad to have it. I think he gave
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: I think you'd go to Houston. I buy him two
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: times that that would be a strong fit in Houston.
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: But it seems him everything he's doing that he's coming
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: in l a buying the house and all that stuff.
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: That's don't nobody who ain't got nobody play without him.
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: And the Lakers is young, they're gonna be good. Man.
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: They got some good young players on the Lakers. Take
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: but they yelled, but they got some. They got some
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: athletes on on the Lakers. Man, Lakers got some. They
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: got some athletes that come to ball. They just don't
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: know how the closed games to the Clippers. Yeah, they
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: know something. Clippers cutting theirself right now. They didn't got
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: rid of Chris Paul. They just got rid of Blake Griffin.
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: The Clippers just trying to rebuild. I don't then the
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: boy what's your name? Andre DeAndre Jordan? Yeah, he fitn't
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: get up out of that too. That's who I know
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: he made. I know he made right now that they
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: traded Blake Griffin because they came down to Houston and
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: made him say, man, you ain't going to Dallas. They
- 1:15:30Speaker 1: locked him in his own house in Houston, made him
- 1:15:33Speaker 1: sign back with the Clippers and come on, don't we
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: got something here? Then they ship out Paul and Blake Griffin.
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: Paul Man I would be mad sports. Yeah, there's no
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: loyalty though, no switch and said come on sure, only wait,
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: you were gonna tell us about the Chicken wing report?
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: What's going on? Oh yeah, it was, oh yeah, yeah,
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: what about Okay, Well here we go, as promised the
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: National Council of Chicken Wings that sure did blackout I
- 1:16:15Speaker 1: did at Steve that time. The National Council of Chicken
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: has released its National Chicken Wing Report. Americans and football
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: fans will consume in all time high. You guys ready
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: for this number? One point thirty five billion with a
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: B wings this Sunday. That's that's twenty million more wings
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: than lest year. One point three five billion. His mama
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: could eat five hundred thousands, just like she eat him
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: like mints. It's unbelievable, Like she have him in a
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: hand and pop them in a mouth. She just started
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: out to bone circulol sunflowers. It couldn't be all right, yeah,
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: well what's unflowsy Chi and Jay, We'll come back and
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: find out what's your predictions for the big game? This Sunday,
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: Are okay? You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: A survey of HR managers, that's human resources managers find
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: that many believe the Monday after the Super Bowl should
- 1:17:33Speaker 1: be a holiday, and there's good reason for that, considering
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: many people won't be going to work anyway. According to
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: a report by Muse the next close to fourteen million
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: people watching the super Bowl on Sunday planned to call
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: in sick for work on Monday. And I'm calling in,
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: damn boss, and I'm not already know you have too
- 1:17:54Speaker 1: many jobs. What's more of Americans say they have missed
- 1:17:59Speaker 1: work in the past on the day after the big
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: game with thinking it should be a holiday. So, Steve,
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: what what's you're gonna call in? You said that? Now,
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: what's what's what reason are you gonna get? Give us
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: a because maybe we can use it. Look at this,
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: Look at this. It's coping now though, crazy man. It
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: just came upon me. I was at one time. I
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: was I just got the cheels and the thing, you know,
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: went up. Man, y'all got it right. I appreciate you
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: all coming from I'm going here laid back. That's okay,
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: Steve all right, we got it. I'm here. Yeah, right,
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: So Steve, cut to you at home after you've called,
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: then what are you doing? Cut to me down. I'm
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: outside the pool the game, chilling boy called good. I
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: want some money. I mean I'm in there calling around.
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: Whoop that you calling people? Don't beat me and lose.
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: It ain't the money. Don't beat me and lose. I
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: ain't got nothing to do with the money. Oh, it's
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: what you got to Hell, it's not the money. Yeah.
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: So did I find out the time you're gonna be
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: at the chateau for the super Bowl June. You're gonna
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: be Oh yeah, you're gonna together. You ain't got to
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: look for me turn around? Okay, so straight, you got
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: your cash? Cash? No a t M. What does this
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: am same? I don't have the rich rules together. Yeah,
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: we're walking through the casino. We didn't just left the
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: dice Texas. I have the dude, man, we want to
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: wear Texas. Were rat packet this weekend. A couple of Scots.
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: We look exotic rooms. You know, don't know nobody on
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: my team get hot, don't get hot. Ain't watching that,
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: ain't I ain't stand that drunk as friend partner. This
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: is social drinking. We're doing with a lot of water.
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: For every shot you take, you need two glasses of water.
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: And then you know, you know, man, I'm having time.
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: I watched everybody. Anybody gotta watch me because I I
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: ain't never been drunk a day in my life. So
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: we're good. So we're leaving the craft table. We didn't
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: hit him up, pretty good. Junior lost a little bit.
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: We're walking. I'm gonna go to the high roller room
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: because it's trying to gonna take the crap with us.
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: See if I can do a little bit over here
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: in the high roller room. Junior vetos off, so we'll
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: go over there towards Junior. I'm thinking he walking towards
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: the machine or something or something anything. He stopped at
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: the ATM machine. Now all us a standard. I didn't
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: even know it was a TM machine because I ain't
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: never had to look for one. Now, all up standing
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: with these texes around this a TM machee huddle and
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: here and here putting a code in. And I'm sitting
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: up here and I'm looking around at people, going, Steve Harvey,
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: what's out sad you shop boy? Then we then then
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: one dude, say, try to get a little bit out
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: of the machine. Stand or what are you doing? Man?
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: I need a couple hundred dollars. I sit, dog, just
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: ask me for the money. Don't bring us over here
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: to no damn a tim machine with the texes, old
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: people looking at us. Look at your poass over here
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: with smell it man, somebody dudes you know they got
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: companies and stuff. They're going, hey man, little man, he cool. Man,
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: he's funny. But man, is he from real? I said, man,
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: he good brother, man, he just learned it. Man, y'all
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: stay with said dude. Dude gonna be major one day.
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: A man, damn man, he can't do this to us. Steve, Steve, Steve,
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: tell you here and then we can't be here. We
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: all here, man, so that man, Yeah this to Steve.
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: You noticed too, when you go to the ATM machine
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: you can only get a certain amount amount of money. Yeah,
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: you can only get us You may have split out
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: a full hunting yea at Max And what is we
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: all waiting on this fault? Next he's gonna have money
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: and shot the Y know what you're but just the
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: way I used to go to Vegas? Know what your
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: budget is what you are willing to go home without
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: not exceed that and me and just take double what
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: that is. That's how ya do so you can enjoy yourself.
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: So if you lose that amount early, you still got
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: the same amount in your pocket, and you ain't walking
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: around with that empty dog field. That's what I've seen them.
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: People don't. It's okay, okay, like okay, like okay, let
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: me ask you something you like if you would have budget.
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: Let's just talk about budget. If you budget how much
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: to take the vegas? What might that be? Let's go
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: down there with about five? Okay, you need ten. Okay,
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: Now I'm gonna tell you why you pulled tin. Let's
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: say you get down there and something happening. He said five,
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: and then you bumped him to tens because listen, listen,
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: suppose you get down there and to get good to you,
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: you get the gamblet. You're having fun. We're down that
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: three days and in a day and a half you'd
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: have lost your five. But see that's what now your
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: now your another day and a half is way darker
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: because the whole five is gold back at the A
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: T M. Yeah, but it don't feel as bad when
- 1:24:10Speaker 1: you got five more in your pocket, you can at
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: least walk around with some dignity. Now you can't touch nothing,
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: you can't want nothing, you can't look at nothing because
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: there's no possibility. You can't even stop and play a feeling. Yeah, man,
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: I bet that's gonna be odd number. Let me just
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: put two hunt on that. That's why more super Bowl
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: talk when we come back right after this. You're listening
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: to stew All. Right, Steve, you're gonna ask Tommy a question.
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: You said you want it, Tommy, what's the most you'll
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: take to Vegas to lose? That's it? And if I
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: lose at the third day, I'm just walking around. Ain't
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: no damn a t M. I bet not go back
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: over the new That's it? And why is I'm trying
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: to go out? If I'm with you? What is? Don't
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: worry about some money for the mitail? If I can't say, man,
- 1:25:13Speaker 1: I'm out? Do were you even going about the shop?
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: About the gamble? So he lets fifteen hundred rad on
- 1:25:30Speaker 1: certain tis Well, I'm gambled with Steve and he's been
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: mad and he moves my chips. I don't like when
- 1:25:37Speaker 1: he do that either. You don't like money you trying
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: to get Listen to me. You're gambling with me. I
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: got a feeling that them zeros is gonna hit they green.
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: Now you're sitting over here with the pile of chips.
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: I take your chips and put it on miss Yes,
- 1:25:56Speaker 1: Steve will do that. You're gonna wrap that chip and
- 1:25:58Speaker 1: you don't zero zero hit and you ain't on it
- 1:26:03Speaker 1: would hurt. You can't do that, you know. And you
- 1:26:08Speaker 1: can't have a dollar chills dollars. You don't get dollar?
- 1:26:14Speaker 1: What do you get a dollar? I got? I get
- 1:26:21Speaker 1: a hundred dollar worth for chills. I put one dollar
- 1:26:24Speaker 1: on the number and they give me thirty five? What
- 1:26:26Speaker 1: is this? What is we doing? Put te in on him?
- 1:26:30Speaker 1: What am out? Put how much on the table to
- 1:26:33Speaker 1: gamble for each number? For every time they roll? I
- 1:26:36Speaker 1: probably got about three hundred out there? Folk? Yeah, what
- 1:26:43Speaker 1: is wrong, Jake? I just don't gamble and never have something.
- 1:26:47Speaker 1: A lot of times now a lot of times don't
- 1:26:50Speaker 1: nothing hit and they break all of it. But I
- 1:26:53Speaker 1: have enough number spread out where I keep a little
- 1:26:55Speaker 1: bit coming coming in. I might, you know, I might
- 1:26:57Speaker 1: get a hundred and eighty back three hunted back to hunter.
- 1:27:01Speaker 1: But if but if my numbers come in that I
- 1:27:03Speaker 1: got the stacks on and they're gonna put some thousands
- 1:27:06Speaker 1: over here, get it wheel and then I'm done. So
- 1:27:13Speaker 1: if they had shoes that could come out of that
- 1:27:15Speaker 1: damage or something like that, I don't. I don't get
- 1:27:22Speaker 1: its hard work. You can take your money and go back.
- 1:27:27Speaker 1: I just can't see here's a deal. When I get there,
- 1:27:32Speaker 1: I go to the mall that's connected to the hotel,
- 1:27:36Speaker 1: go straight to the watch. Though I see a watching.
- 1:27:40Speaker 1: Now that I got the head right, okay, then my
- 1:27:43Speaker 1: goal now is to go win the money to buy
- 1:27:47Speaker 1: the watch. Now and all the times I've done that,
- 1:27:51Speaker 1: I've only gotten two watches. And how many times you've
- 1:27:54Speaker 1: been to days and you only got two watches out
- 1:27:58Speaker 1: of it? Well, I'm just saying that it were. I
- 1:28:00Speaker 1: ain't saying I lost, but I didn't get enough to
- 1:28:02Speaker 1: win the watch. What's the average each time you go
- 1:28:05Speaker 1: half and half you one of you? Yeah? Yeah, it
- 1:28:08Speaker 1: averages about half. I los about half. I never I
- 1:28:11Speaker 1: never lose all I take out there. Again, I don't
- 1:28:13Speaker 1: really lose all that. If I take fifty out there,
- 1:28:15Speaker 1: I'm gonna say I'm a gamble with fifty this trip
- 1:28:18Speaker 1: dollars dollars. Oh yeah, fifty dollars. I needn't go to bank.
- 1:28:31Speaker 1: Oh my god, if I do, I never I never lost.
- 1:28:40Speaker 1: And he died the most, the most I've ever lost
- 1:28:43Speaker 1: to the Vegas twenty. I choot myself. You're right there
- 1:28:46Speaker 1: with me, and how you'll be doing it? I ain't
- 1:28:50Speaker 1: even know. We gotta go. We'll be back with more
- 1:28:53Speaker 1: of this Steve Harvey Crazy show right after that. You're
- 1:28:59Speaker 1: listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. Well, in case you haven't heard,
- 1:29:03Speaker 1: it's Groundhog Day, so a happy groundhogs Day and punkstani
- 1:29:07Speaker 1: Phil did see his shadow today, So that means, sorry, guys,
- 1:29:11Speaker 1: punksatani Phil uh, six more weeks of miserable winter because
- 1:29:16Speaker 1: you see a shadow. My brother used to call him
- 1:29:18Speaker 1: punkouldn't have been here? When does Stephen? Whatever? I like,
- 1:29:30Speaker 1: you have beautiful weather all the time, right, we had
- 1:29:32Speaker 1: got a break and dissembly. Yeah, so Stephen Jr. What
- 1:29:36Speaker 1: are you guys gonna be doing besides gambling and wearing
- 1:29:38Speaker 1: your Texas and you know, giving that whole rat pack vibe?
- 1:29:44Speaker 1: What else? What is? What else is out there? It
- 1:29:46Speaker 1: shows out there? Show food just to get back out
- 1:29:53Speaker 1: there amusement. Don't stopping shopping the building. It's three days.
- 1:30:01Speaker 1: I won't see no sun. Like we don't even know
- 1:30:03Speaker 1: what Timmy, you don't don't see none of the shows
- 1:30:06Speaker 1: and what shows shows? Man, we had a gamble watching
- 1:30:15Speaker 1: no damn blue Man group. Then people ain't blue about
- 1:30:27Speaker 1: the black man group. You don't see that. They better
- 1:30:32Speaker 1: be black. That's that's, that's it. You go to sleep,
- 1:30:37Speaker 1: all right, Steve? You wake up? What time you go
- 1:30:39Speaker 1: to sleep? What time? Well, I wake up early and
- 1:30:42Speaker 1: have coffee in my room. Sit down, chill a little bit. Okay,
- 1:30:47Speaker 1: wait a minute, stop right there. They're not like this
- 1:30:50Speaker 1: is just a room. Okay, you're at some room residential
- 1:30:55Speaker 1: suite on top of the highest building. One. Now, if
- 1:31:00Speaker 1: I go in my room, I have to be able
- 1:31:02Speaker 1: to turn two corners. Wow. Now if I ain't turn
- 1:31:07Speaker 1: in two corners, I've got what I have the wrong room.
- 1:31:11Speaker 1: That's just for myself. Some years ago, because when I
- 1:31:15Speaker 1: used to tell shows how I wanted to live, they
- 1:31:17Speaker 1: would be arguing with my management, Tombo, why does he
- 1:31:20Speaker 1: require room like that? And I taught all my management
- 1:31:23Speaker 1: to tell people that's why I have I have. I
- 1:31:26Speaker 1: have big houses, I have nice homes. I'm not gonna
- 1:31:29Speaker 1: come well, I'm not gonna come out here and have
- 1:31:33Speaker 1: some part living. And they ain't hard and work real
- 1:31:36Speaker 1: hard to live and so you know, it was really
- 1:31:38Speaker 1: just to make them respect me the way I know
- 1:31:41Speaker 1: they respect other entertainers because I see other entertainers writers. Oh,
- 1:31:46Speaker 1: you gotta put certain amount of orchids in their room,
- 1:31:49Speaker 1: and you gotta have caveall when he gets there, and
- 1:31:52Speaker 1: you gotta have the white wine every day, and you
- 1:31:54Speaker 1: gotta have a certain organic fruits brought in fresh. I
- 1:31:58Speaker 1: know all that they'd be doing. So don't need all that.
- 1:32:01Speaker 1: Just give me a top quality room. I want the
- 1:32:04Speaker 1: best womb that's available to me. And if they don't
- 1:32:08Speaker 1: give me that, then you know it's gonna be a problem. Boycott,
- 1:32:14Speaker 1: go get in some room and move my money to
- 1:32:17Speaker 1: be in the bedroom room and getting no damn money
- 1:32:22Speaker 1: money room. We'll be back to close out the show
- 1:32:28Speaker 1: with just one more thing. I gotta ask you one
- 1:32:30Speaker 1: more thing, Junior before we get out of here. Sure,
- 1:32:32Speaker 1: sure you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All
- 1:32:36Speaker 1: right here we are last break of the day. As
- 1:32:39Speaker 1: we kick off Super Bowl weekend. We heard that Steve
- 1:32:41Speaker 1: and Jr. Of course will be in Vegas celebrating. But
- 1:32:44Speaker 1: but we okay, we heard from your perspective, Steve and
- 1:32:47Speaker 1: how you like to live in everything, and that's great
- 1:32:49Speaker 1: because you know, it's the blessings of God, and I
- 1:32:53Speaker 1: just love hearing that kind of stuff, you know. But Junior,
- 1:32:56Speaker 1: I wanted to ask you, what have you learned through
- 1:32:58Speaker 1: this whole experience because you're getting to hang out with Yeah, yeah,
- 1:33:03Speaker 1: I don't go to the well this trip. Surely I
- 1:33:07Speaker 1: learned that I need to just go get my cash
- 1:33:09Speaker 1: and now that first thing I must do. But I
- 1:33:13Speaker 1: mean not to go to a t M. But seriously,
- 1:33:16Speaker 1: Steve's kind of taking you under his wing, you know,
- 1:33:18Speaker 1: so he speaks. So yeah, I just wanted to ask,
- 1:33:21Speaker 1: you know, it's it's tru Let me tell you something.
- 1:33:23Speaker 1: It's really it's really cool. And don't think that we
- 1:33:25Speaker 1: just gamed out there, but me and we discussed a
- 1:33:27Speaker 1: lot of different things while we're there. You know, we
- 1:33:29Speaker 1: we talked about a lot of different stuff, and that's
- 1:33:32Speaker 1: just that's just the distraction the game. We're gonna have
- 1:33:34Speaker 1: the fun. But then I just sit around we'll see
- 1:33:36Speaker 1: that breakfast. We'll discuss business plans, ideas and stuff like that.
- 1:33:39Speaker 1: But it's really just seeing another side or what life
- 1:33:42Speaker 1: could possibly be, because it's never. It's never. I don't
- 1:33:49Speaker 1: I don't have frivolous conversations. You know, I ain't gossiping.
- 1:33:53Speaker 1: Y'all see this on the ind and now. And my friends,
- 1:33:56Speaker 1: I ain't got no friends like that. All these dudes
- 1:33:59Speaker 1: I hang with, they're trying to become as successful and
- 1:34:04Speaker 1: as happy as they can for their families. I don't
- 1:34:08Speaker 1: have no single friends that I run with. All my
- 1:34:11Speaker 1: friends is married, all of them, and all of them
- 1:34:14Speaker 1: got families. And let me see one one of them
- 1:34:18Speaker 1: has no grandkids. Yeah, two of them. Two of them
- 1:34:22Speaker 1: has no grandkids. The other the other two partners of mine,
- 1:34:27Speaker 1: they got grandkids. That's all them. The only dudes I
- 1:34:30Speaker 1: run with because we like mind. It ain't nobody telling
- 1:34:32Speaker 1: my hey man and go to strip club. Hey man,
- 1:34:34Speaker 1: let's buy some weed. I ain't got some dudes, man,
- 1:34:37Speaker 1: because if you're gonna do all that, you can do it.
- 1:34:40Speaker 1: But I don't want. I ain't in that circle with you.
- 1:34:43Speaker 1: You're going down to the strip club bringing girls around
- 1:34:47Speaker 1: with all the stuff go eat and girls, and no,
- 1:34:51Speaker 1: that ain't. You can't. You're just down there mentoring everybody.
- 1:34:58Speaker 1: You've just just mentoring no girls. Let me just let
- 1:35:02Speaker 1: me just share this with your fine, it's Vegas. No
- 1:35:05Speaker 1: girls at least mentor some of them. Let me just
- 1:35:10Speaker 1: share this with your time and sure, let me just
- 1:35:11Speaker 1: get these I'm sitting there having this conversation with this gentleman, right,
- 1:35:15Speaker 1: he was in group one time, he's in vase and
- 1:35:17Speaker 1: were sitting there talking. We had a really good, you know,
- 1:35:19Speaker 1: really good good conversation and then we exchanged numbers. I'm
- 1:35:22Speaker 1: not gonna say his name, but you exchanged something whole
- 1:35:24Speaker 1: that and then Ms. Calhoun say, do you know you're
- 1:35:26Speaker 1: just talking to I said, um, but you're a really
- 1:35:29Speaker 1: cool dude. He's aid man. That guy makes about nine
- 1:35:32Speaker 1: hunty men. Who what was that? What was that? Yeah?
- 1:35:40Speaker 1: He was just as nice. And yeah, I had no
- 1:35:43Speaker 1: idea these guys who all been sitting around talking to
- 1:35:46Speaker 1: I had no idea. Remember that time. Okay, okay, we
- 1:35:49Speaker 1: co okay, we come down that my rule. All the
- 1:35:52Speaker 1: fellos come to my rule. So we're going down to
- 1:35:54Speaker 1: this breakfast place and nobody's in there you have to
- 1:35:57Speaker 1: stay in a certain section to even be allowed it
- 1:36:00Speaker 1: in his blackflast. So we going to breakfast place and
- 1:36:02Speaker 1: we're sitting there and Junior come in and the dude
- 1:36:06Speaker 1: got on some cargo shorts, a sweatshirt, some flip flops,
- 1:36:11Speaker 1: and the hair all over his head. It's cool, dude.
- 1:36:14Speaker 1: And I sat out. I don't pay no tittion to him,
- 1:36:17Speaker 1: and he goes, Steve, I'm so proud of you, man,
- 1:36:21Speaker 1: I'm so proud of you. Man. And I turned around
- 1:36:25Speaker 1: and it's the CEO and chairman of the board of CBS,
- 1:36:30Speaker 1: Less moon Fast. So I hugged Less because Less I
- 1:36:34Speaker 1: met Less at a super Bowl one time. He took
- 1:36:37Speaker 1: me to my first super Bowl in the nineties. I've
- 1:36:40Speaker 1: never been to one. He took me, gave me these
- 1:36:42Speaker 1: seats and everything, just being nice to me. Man, and
- 1:36:46Speaker 1: I said, wow, we hugged me talking Junior med him
- 1:36:49Speaker 1: and everything. I introduced Junior, I don't tell him. So
- 1:36:52Speaker 1: we're going to the casino. Junior saying, uh, who would
- 1:36:55Speaker 1: that dude with them shot to him man in flip flop.
- 1:36:58Speaker 1: I said, who What I said? Don't let that outfit
- 1:37:01Speaker 1: throw you dog. Later that night, Junior saw him at
- 1:37:06Speaker 1: the fight, stepped out a fleet of fanoms. I said, Junior,
- 1:37:14Speaker 1: he changed. This is who he really is. He was
- 1:37:16Speaker 1: sitting in front of me at the fight. You know,
- 1:37:20Speaker 1: everybody was talking about my seats at the fight, and
- 1:37:24Speaker 1: he was in front of me with his family, all
- 1:37:26Speaker 1: his kids. Dad. Can I say something to not leave
- 1:37:28Speaker 1: him alone? I say, that's it's cool. I love you, sir.
- 1:37:32Speaker 1: A few little big shots, I was talking with these
- 1:37:34Speaker 1: kids and stuff, you know, and it's just it's it's
- 1:37:37Speaker 1: stuff like that, and you meet I don't even woods, boss.
- 1:37:42Speaker 1: I've tried very hard to fix the circle that I
- 1:37:47Speaker 1: operate in so I can become better. And you know,
- 1:37:50Speaker 1: it's like I said, man, I just hang out with
- 1:37:52Speaker 1: certain dudes. We go out there, we play some golf,
- 1:37:55Speaker 1: and we're gonna we get up on these tables and
- 1:37:58Speaker 1: we go to our room. I don't want no trouble, dog.
- 1:38:01Speaker 1: I ain't gonna be on TMZ, Tommy, unlike you. I'm
- 1:38:05Speaker 1: not going to no strip club. I'm not fit to
- 1:38:08Speaker 1: go out here. And had a conversation tom you need
- 1:38:13Speaker 1: to come down here and get your ass a minimum.
- 1:38:15Speaker 1: You know what a matter of fact, you said that
- 1:38:18Speaker 1: let me test my uncle's mentoring skill. Let me just
- 1:38:20Speaker 1: ask you a question. Here we go, you and your son.
- 1:38:24Speaker 1: Let's say you and Winton, you and Winston are driving
- 1:38:27Speaker 1: in a car. It's three o'clock in the morning, three am.
- 1:38:31Speaker 1: You're on a deserted road. You see a van over
- 1:38:35Speaker 1: in the grass. Lights is on, right, it's a drive
- 1:38:40Speaker 1: in there. He didn't have a heart attack, right he did?
- 1:38:44Speaker 1: You open up the back. Seventeen million dollars in cash
- 1:38:48Speaker 1: back there. Now, see, first of all, you've you've gone
- 1:38:50Speaker 1: too far. Really, I'm driving on the road three m.
- 1:38:53Speaker 1: It's a man in the car dead. He none of
- 1:38:55Speaker 1: my damn business. I'm still driving on the road at
