- 2:02Speaker 1: I sure will. Good morning everybody. You're listening to the voice,
- 2:07Speaker 1: come on dig me now wanting on its Steve Harvey
- 2:09Speaker 1: Man oh Man got a radio show got going for
- 2:12Speaker 1: you today. And it just happened to me. You know,
- 2:15Speaker 1: I was going through something that I've been going through
- 2:18Speaker 1: for a long long time and just weary of it all,
- 2:21Speaker 1: and I was I've been talking to God about it,
- 2:24Speaker 1: and I mean for years. Though. What happened was I
- 2:29Speaker 1: had had to go through some more of it yesterday
- 2:31Speaker 1: again in a situation. But you know what, after it
- 2:35Speaker 1: was over, you know, I kind of laid in it
- 2:37Speaker 1: for a little while. You know how you've been going
- 2:39Speaker 1: through something for so long, and then even if it's over,
- 2:42Speaker 1: appears to be over, you still kind of lay in
- 2:45Speaker 1: it a little bit and you know you have a while. Man,
- 2:48Speaker 1: I can't believe I've been dealing with this this long,
- 2:51Speaker 1: even though even though it was over. I don't know
- 2:54Speaker 1: how you do it, but this was so good for me.
- 2:57Speaker 1: Have you ever counted, Steve Harvey, how many times you
- 3:01Speaker 1: made it? And so that's what I started doing yesterday,
- 3:04Speaker 1: And that's what I did this morning. When I woke up,
- 3:07Speaker 1: I was actually taking an inventory account of how many
- 3:11Speaker 1: times I made it. How many times, man, I didn't
- 3:15Speaker 1: have the rent and somehow I came up with it.
- 3:18Speaker 1: How many times I didn't have my house payment and
- 3:21Speaker 1: somehow I came up with it. How many times I
- 3:24Speaker 1: was out of money, did not have enough, didn't didn't
- 3:27Speaker 1: see no way, but somehow I came up with it.
- 3:31Speaker 1: How many times I got sick, thought, well, man, this
- 3:35Speaker 1: one right here. I don't know what I'm gonna do,
- 3:36Speaker 1: but somehow I got my health back. How many situations
- 3:42Speaker 1: I have found myself in? That was I thought at
- 3:46Speaker 1: the time, detrimental and diabolical and man so sinister at times.
- 3:53Speaker 1: Somehow I made it. I look at all the accidents
- 3:57Speaker 1: I've been in, but he kept me. I made it.
- 4:01Speaker 1: I think about even the simplest times of like stepping
- 4:04Speaker 1: off a curve and almost got hit, but I made it.
- 4:07Speaker 1: I was just tripping the other day. I was I
- 4:10Speaker 1: was thinking about the times that I've been hit by
- 4:12Speaker 1: a car and it could have been worse, but it wasn't,
- 4:15Speaker 1: And I made it through that too. I was thinking about, Man,
- 4:18Speaker 1: when they count you out, Do you know how many
- 4:21Speaker 1: times I've been counted out? He's done? He ain't gonna
- 4:25Speaker 1: be nothing, He ain't nobody See what I told y'all,
- 4:29Speaker 1: look at over that they counsel this, he offer that
- 4:32Speaker 1: he out of here. He ain't gonna make it. He
- 4:35Speaker 1: didn't got fired. Man, You know how many times I've
- 4:37Speaker 1: been counted out? You know how many times they didn't
- 4:39Speaker 1: wrote me off? How many times have you been written off? Man?
- 4:43Speaker 1: But here you still stand? You know you've a tripped
- 4:45Speaker 1: on it. Taking inventory y'all of how many times? Count
- 4:50Speaker 1: the times you've made it? What about the times man,
- 4:53Speaker 1: when nobody was there to encourage you? But you still
- 4:56Speaker 1: here though you've tripped on that? Ain't nobody called you
- 5:00Speaker 1: and told you good day? No nobody called you and
- 5:02Speaker 1: told you recently, thank you. No one's called you and
- 5:04Speaker 1: told you how much you meant to them, how much
- 5:06Speaker 1: you've done for them, A man, that you can make it.
- 5:09Speaker 1: Never give up, Keep your head up, man, keep grinding.
- 5:12Speaker 1: But you still here, even when nobody have you counted
- 5:15Speaker 1: the times, man, that you made it anyway? You counted
- 5:20Speaker 1: the times that you felt like quitting, you felt like
- 5:23Speaker 1: giving up, you kept going. How about the time this
- 5:27Speaker 1: is a good one right here? How about the times man,
- 5:30Speaker 1: when everybody's standing around saying, ain't no way, ain't no way. Man.
- 5:34Speaker 1: I can't tell how many times I've heard this, ain't
- 5:36Speaker 1: no way, and then somehow there is a way. You
- 5:40Speaker 1: know why, because he make away? You understand. You know
- 5:44Speaker 1: how many times I've heard this one right here, Steve,
- 5:47Speaker 1: listen to me, man, Nobody ever before hasn't done that.
- 5:51Speaker 1: You can't do that. How many times you'd heard no,
- 5:55Speaker 1: you aren't you know anybody didn't done that. You can't
- 5:59Speaker 1: do that. No one has ever done that. I made
- 6:02Speaker 1: it anyway. You know they don't normally or we don't
- 6:09Speaker 1: normally allow this, but in this case, for you, we
- 6:15Speaker 1: gonna make an exception. How many times have you heard that, Oh,
- 6:19Speaker 1: I think I'm on to something. How many times have
- 6:23Speaker 1: you heard in your lifetime. We don't normally or they
- 6:27Speaker 1: don't normally allow this, but we're gonna make this exception
- 6:32Speaker 1: in your case. How many times you didn't heard that?
- 6:37Speaker 1: Have you ever counted the times that you made it?
- 6:41Speaker 1: Everybody out accept me? Oh, how can that be? You
- 6:48Speaker 1: know you're the only one that got through this? Congratulations? Wow? Man,
- 6:53Speaker 1: I don't I don't hardly see this too many times.
- 6:56Speaker 1: But do you realize that normally this is what happened
- 6:59Speaker 1: to people? But man, y'all don't know how your name
- 7:01Speaker 1: came up, but here you are. Wow, it never happens
- 7:05Speaker 1: like that. You ever counted those times I was doing
- 7:08Speaker 1: it yesterday? I was doing it this morning. I was
- 7:11Speaker 1: just taking an inventory of everybody of how many times
- 7:14Speaker 1: I've made it. So what I learned yesterday was when
- 7:19Speaker 1: God gets you through something, when he pulled you out
- 7:22Speaker 1: on the other side, no matter how difficult or how
- 7:25Speaker 1: long it took. When He gets you out on the
- 7:28Speaker 1: other side, why don't you get up, dust yourself off
- 7:31Speaker 1: and start trotting what you laying there for man, wallowing
- 7:36Speaker 1: in it, going over it, recycling it in your mind.
- 7:40Speaker 1: So many people can't move forward because we keep recycling
- 7:46Speaker 1: stuff in our mind when clearly it's time to move on,
- 7:52Speaker 1: it's time to let go. It's time to go and
- 7:56Speaker 1: see what God has for you. Stop looking at what
- 8:00Speaker 1: you lost. What you lost was probably not yours to
- 8:04Speaker 1: have in the first in the first place. Do you
- 8:13Speaker 1: know the things I've lost? Now, I'm not talking about
- 8:16Speaker 1: losing the love one, a mother or father, nothing like that.
- 8:19Speaker 1: I'm talking about innate objects or situation. Do you know
- 8:23Speaker 1: the things I've lost? Man, I look back on it.
- 8:25Speaker 1: I wasn't supposed to have him in the first place,
- 8:27Speaker 1: or they was doing me no good. I wasn't wasn't
- 8:30Speaker 1: mine to lose, but I claimed I lost it. Come on, man,
- 8:34Speaker 1: taking inventory, everybody. Start looking at the things man, that
- 8:37Speaker 1: God has brought you through. Start looking at how many
- 8:39Speaker 1: times He allowed you to make it. And get glad
- 8:42Speaker 1: about waking up in the morning. Man, Get glad about
- 8:44Speaker 1: your life. Start feeling something positive about your situation. You
- 8:48Speaker 1: cannot expect God to continue to bless you if you're
- 8:52Speaker 1: not grateful for the things that you have. Why would
- 8:55Speaker 1: God sitting down here looking at you, upset, angry, laying
- 9:02Speaker 1: in the waller of what you are not grateful for.
- 9:07Speaker 1: You just can't find the see find no gratitude in
- 9:09Speaker 1: your heart about nothing, but you steady asking God for something.
- 9:12Speaker 1: So now you think God is crazy. You think he
- 9:15Speaker 1: gonna give you some most stuff to not be grateful for.
- 9:18Speaker 1: Are you kidding me? Why would he do that. He's
- 9:21Speaker 1: too full of too much mercy to send you through
- 9:24Speaker 1: that over and over and over. The more I give
- 9:26Speaker 1: my child, the more ungrateful they are, the less gratitude
- 9:30Speaker 1: they show. But I'm gonna keep dumping it on them
- 9:32Speaker 1: so they can keep feeling ungrateful and show like a gratitude.
- 9:36Speaker 1: God's not gonna do that to you. Come on, man,
- 9:39Speaker 1: have you ever counted how many times you made it?
- 9:45Speaker 1: I can't count how many times God didn't gotten me
- 9:48Speaker 1: through something. But when He gets you through it, you
- 9:50Speaker 1: can't get up and get on about your business. Don't
- 9:53Speaker 1: lay that in it. It's over, it's done, you made it,
- 9:55Speaker 1: you survived it. Let's go. Let's go. You're listening every
- 10:00Speaker 1: morning show, ladies and gentlemen. It is here to Steve
- 10:05Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show as arrived. I don't know how you
- 10:08Speaker 1: feel about it, but man, I I feel sad to five.

- 10:20Speaker 1: they had a song for everything. I don't see what's
- 10:23Speaker 1: going on anyway. Man, it's twenty twenty two. Awful glad
- 10:26Speaker 1: to be here. Thank you, Heavenly Father for all you've
- 10:28Speaker 1: done for us today. Thank you, thank you in advance

- 11:09Speaker 1: a full life. Okay, talking talking to me in prad
- 11:12Speaker 1: past tense. Now I'm paying clothes. You get starting you
- 11:19Speaker 1: right now? Yeah, yeah, you know you start hearing a
- 11:21Speaker 1: little small things when you get on the go ahead though. Yeah, okay,
- 11:25Speaker 1: I'm just saying, and the whole like, do you fit
- 11:27Speaker 1: up with some moments that God was pranking you? Oh?
- 11:31Speaker 1: Yeah I knew, I knew it was yeah, yeah, the whole,
- 11:34Speaker 1: the whole homeless thing I thought was a prank. The
- 11:39Speaker 1: whole time I was homeless. I would wake up in
- 11:41Speaker 1: the morning, go ah, that's good man. Where my house at?
- 11:51Speaker 1: That's a good one, are you? You had me use
- 11:53Speaker 1: bad room last night at the gas station? What about
- 11:58Speaker 1: to day? Right on back down to day? Well you
- 12:01Speaker 1: cut this out? Oh god, I got it. So I
- 12:07Speaker 1: had to watch TV in front of a circuit city
- 12:10Speaker 1: last night. Oh that was funny. Oh that'll be good
- 12:14Speaker 1: right there, that looking in the wind, that radio shack
- 12:18Speaker 1: watching TV? I like that. Lord, what about tonight? You
- 12:21Speaker 1: go right on back down there? Much? Hey? God? That
- 12:31Speaker 1: using that he glood cool as a refrigerator. That was funny.
- 12:36Speaker 1: Gotta get a regular refrigerator now. Yeah. Man, that was
- 12:42Speaker 1: the biggest prank I've ever seen, and lasting long time too.
- 12:46Speaker 1: Three year prank he was good at and he kept
- 12:48Speaker 1: coming with creative ways. Yeah, you know, to pull the
- 12:52Speaker 1: prank off, you know, Like I like, I got mad
- 12:55Speaker 1: at this girl I met one time and I said,
- 12:57Speaker 1: I ain't got to deal with this, I'm going home.
- 12:59Speaker 1: She said, it's park right over there. You didn't really yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 13:10Speaker 1: she hurt me with that. I gotta take this I'm
- 13:14Speaker 1: going comb it's park right over there. Oh man, okay,
- 13:21Speaker 1: you got your question answered, Junior. Yeah, yeah, I see
- 13:24Speaker 1: that now. Yeah. Yeah, it's been an interesting ride. But
- 13:28Speaker 1: everything everything for a reason. Man, Everything happened for a reason.
- 13:32Speaker 1: I was not understanding that at the time, but I
- 13:35Speaker 1: appreciate him now. Yeah, all right, all right, coming up
- 13:39Speaker 1: at thirty two minutes after the hour, we're gonna run
- 13:41Speaker 1: that prank back right after this. You're listening Steve Harvey
- 13:46Speaker 1: Morning Show. All right, guys, it is time to run
- 13:48Speaker 1: that prank back with Junior in for the nephew. What
- 13:51Speaker 1: you got, Junior. Garnish your wages. Oh yeah, they're taking money.
- 13:57Speaker 1: Garnish your wages. Come onky, Hello, I'm trying to reach
- 14:01Speaker 1: a place. My name is h from the District Attorney's office. Yes, Hi,
- 14:07Speaker 1: How are you giving you a call today? Ma'am? Trying
- 14:10Speaker 1: to get some updates from you. Your husband, mister, is
- 14:13Speaker 1: he uh still not working at this point? No, sir? Okay?
- 14:18Speaker 1: How long has he been out of work so far? Ma'am?
- 14:20Speaker 1: Could you could you give me an update on this January? Okay?
- 14:25Speaker 1: All right, here's what we're having the problems that we're
- 14:28Speaker 1: having you have a son. I think it's his name
- 14:32Speaker 1: is as well, fourteen years old, am I right? Okay?
- 14:36Speaker 1: The child support is not being paid for from mister
- 14:41Speaker 1: for the for mister young and we're trying to get
- 14:44Speaker 1: this thing rectified. Now. The problem that we're gonna have
- 14:46Speaker 1: in the reason why we're giving you a call is
- 14:49Speaker 1: considering that your your husband hasn't worked since the first
- 14:51Speaker 1: of the year. And I haven't done the research yet.
- 14:54Speaker 1: I'm just I'm just not pulling up your file. I
- 14:56Speaker 1: haven't done the research to see how many months in
- 14:58Speaker 1: the rears he is on child support. It just started once, Um,
- 15:03Speaker 1: he lost a child. Okay, Well, the problem that we're
- 15:08Speaker 1: going to have is they're gonna start taking uh child
- 15:12Speaker 1: support actually, and I hate to give you this news
- 15:15Speaker 1: out of your check until I don't understand how that so.
- 15:18Speaker 1: Because I have my own kids. I understand that, I understand,
- 15:21Speaker 1: But they're gonna be garnishing your check, ma'am until this
- 15:24Speaker 1: until your husband can get this thing back on his
- 15:26Speaker 1: feet and get it rectified and get him up to
- 15:29Speaker 1: parts four of all the payments that are hurt. And
- 15:31Speaker 1: when will this be taking place? Because if that's the case,
- 15:33Speaker 1: I'm not gonna be working because that's not gonna happen.
- 15:36Speaker 1: I have my own children, so I don't understand how
- 15:39Speaker 1: it is that so I don't don't have anything to
- 15:41Speaker 1: do with child for it or anything like that. And
- 15:43Speaker 1: if that's the case, I'm not gonna be working as
- 15:45Speaker 1: of right now. The garnishing of the check is gonna
- 15:47Speaker 1: come from you. And you are at the hospital, correct now,
- 15:50Speaker 1: that's not it's not where you work. I'm not gonna
- 15:53Speaker 1: be working as of right now. That's what I just
- 15:56Speaker 1: told you. So y'all do whatever you got to do,
- 15:58Speaker 1: and I'll do whatever I have to do on my ink. Well,
- 16:00Speaker 1: hold on it. You're willing to quit your job. I'm
- 16:02Speaker 1: not understanding this. This you're sure white because I'm not
- 16:05Speaker 1: gonna be taking care of someone else's kids and I
- 16:07Speaker 1: have my own, so somebody else can take care of
- 16:09Speaker 1: my eyes then because I'm not going to be doing it.
- 16:11Speaker 1: You're so right? All right? Well, I mean, I'm just saying,
- 16:14Speaker 1: you know, don't I don't want you to be upset
- 16:15Speaker 1: with you. I don't want you to be upset with me.
- 16:17Speaker 1: I can be able to contact you, Okay, you know
- 16:21Speaker 1: I'm gonna I'm gonna let you know this. It's a
- 16:22Speaker 1: bit of information. You're still gonna if you're quitting your job, man,
- 16:26Speaker 1: you guys are still gonna be liable for the child's support. Okay,
- 16:30Speaker 1: well that's fine, not you guys, because it's not my children, sir. Okay,
- 16:34Speaker 1: it's not you guys. He will be liable. Okay, because
- 16:39Speaker 1: I don't, I mean, can I stept you hold one
- 16:41Speaker 1: moment because I need to step outside, if that's okay,
- 16:44Speaker 1: or if there's a number I can contact you back. Okay,
- 16:46Speaker 1: are you able to step outside right now? Um? Yes,
- 16:49Speaker 1: but I'm gonna get on the elevator and it's kinda
- 16:52Speaker 1: kind of so to call. Okay, let's do this. Why
- 16:54Speaker 1: don't you step outside and I'll wait for you to call.
- 16:57Speaker 1: Give me about forty five seconds, but I'm gonna give
- 16:59Speaker 1: a call to my manager on this situation. Okay, please, sister,
- 17:02Speaker 1: all right, thank you? Hello? Okay, mister, yes, sir, all right,
- 17:10Speaker 1: Bregain from the District Attorney's office. Okay, you can hear
- 17:12Speaker 1: me now, yes, I can can you hear me? Yes, ma'am,
- 17:15Speaker 1: I'm sure can. Now, let's get to the bottom of everything.
- 17:17Speaker 1: I couldn't get my manager on the phone. But I'll
- 17:20Speaker 1: keep trying. I just want to know. I mean, that's
- 17:23Speaker 1: I'm just a meer letting you. I know you are
- 17:26Speaker 1: and I hate to be so short with you, but
- 17:29Speaker 1: I don't understand because we're not even getting enough. Ain't
- 17:31Speaker 1: come coming in as of right now. And you're speaking
- 17:34Speaker 1: of I have three children that I'm struggling to take
- 17:37Speaker 1: care of all my owner trying somebody from the district
- 17:39Speaker 1: that comes. But and you're speaking of that she's going
- 17:44Speaker 1: to be deducting money from gonna sha my check for
- 17:47Speaker 1: his child worth. What's your something? What's your name? Man?
- 17:52Speaker 1: Who's is there someone else I need to speak with? No,
- 17:55Speaker 1: we're on the phone. I have that's my sister taking
- 17:57Speaker 1: care of some me. We'll probably distance attorney County ma'am. Yeah,
- 18:04Speaker 1: she's on the line from the Office of Child Support Service.
- 18:08Speaker 1: She works with the oticive child Support. Okay, man, I
- 18:11Speaker 1: speak with you. Let me speak with your sister. Man,
- 18:14Speaker 1: So what do you I mean, how is this going
- 18:16Speaker 1: to be done? Because that's not gonna leave me to
- 18:18Speaker 1: cast a band to support my own kids. Well, John,
- 18:21Speaker 1: I mean in my own home. I understand that, you know,
- 18:24Speaker 1: maybe this is a problem with having a person hanging
- 18:27Speaker 1: around A person's raised the seat about his kids all
- 18:31Speaker 1: their life. This is a jealous mother that decided optim
- 18:35Speaker 1: eighteen years that she wanted to go around on Friday, said,
- 18:44Speaker 1: because that's his support order, that's our support order for me.
- 18:47Speaker 1: What in the hell is going on with those people
- 18:49Speaker 1: in the background this nephew time it didn't hit the fan.
- 18:56Speaker 1: She wasn't no, I couldn't get to go out with her.
- 18:58Speaker 1: Sister was there? Say nothing to him? Made her get
- 19:01Speaker 1: off the phones. I need you to call on three ways.
- 19:03Speaker 1: They was calling somebody. They probably calling downtown. Gonna get
- 19:05Speaker 1: themself in MO trouble. Okay, call you back, HI, what's wrong?
- 19:11Speaker 1: I called you back, houd I tell you about it.
- 19:13Speaker 1: I know you want You're gonna talk to her right now?
- 19:16Speaker 1: Who is this? And I told you you're gonna pay
- 19:19Speaker 1: this child support, not me. Get the best way you can't.
- 19:22Speaker 1: He's talking to me, called me, I'm gonna pay this
- 19:24Speaker 1: saf you pay. You're gonna make me. You're gonna make
- 19:29Speaker 1: me whip your behind this money. You find out who
- 19:32Speaker 1: he is? You want to you want to talk to
- 19:33Speaker 1: my lord? Yeah? I want to? Where is your you
- 19:36Speaker 1: don't have a lawyer. You know well you don't have
- 19:39Speaker 1: one because I know who. Don't tell who happen? Harvy?
- 19:41Speaker 1: You got my novel behind there's something for your jobs.
- 19:51Speaker 1: Who is this this nephew? Timing from Steve Harving Morning? Yo, Yo,
- 19:55Speaker 1: just got a frank bob baby. I'm gonna cut call
- 20:19Speaker 1: the foodie. Well you just found that. Give me a
- 20:25Speaker 1: black male all out. I gotta ask all y'all, so
- 20:32Speaker 1: what is the baddest radio show in the land that
- 20:41Speaker 1: is gone wags? Thank you Junior? Coming up next, it
- 20:45Speaker 1: has asked the cello with our Chief Love Officer, Steve
- 20:48Speaker 1: Harvey in the building for your love questions. Right after this,
- 20:51Speaker 1: you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Coming up
- 20:55Speaker 1: at the top of the hour, we'll have today's entertainment
- 20:58Speaker 1: news and some new baby news. Mm. But we'll tell
- 21:02Speaker 1: you all about that. But right now it is time
- 21:04Speaker 1: to get some great advice from the CLO that stands
- 21:08Speaker 1: for Chief Love Officer. We call him the Clothes Steve Harvey.
- 21:12Speaker 1: Chateria in Memphis writes, I have been dating a younger
- 21:15Speaker 1: man for four months, and he's been using my car
- 21:17Speaker 1: to go to work because I worked from home. Now,
- 21:20Speaker 1: I had a doctor's appointment yesterday, so I told him
- 21:23Speaker 1: to call his mama for a ride. His mama called
- 21:26Speaker 1: me and said, I'm only four years younger than her,
- 21:29Speaker 1: so I'm his mama now and I need to take
- 21:31Speaker 1: care of his needs. Would I be out of line
- 21:34Speaker 1: to curse her out? What? Well? First of all, let's
- 21:38Speaker 1: talk about a couple of things that I noticed, m Chatria.
- 21:45Speaker 1: This man you dating got to be young because your
- 21:49Speaker 1: name is Shittria, and I don't know nobody named Shittria
- 21:54Speaker 1: that was born in the seventies. So I'm a soul
- 21:59Speaker 1: in you are a young mother yourself. Now you doing
- 22:03Speaker 1: in here and rob this cradling? You're dating this little
- 22:06Speaker 1: damn baby that just now got off his bicycle, so
- 22:09Speaker 1: he ain't even got a car. Now you're letting him
- 22:12Speaker 1: use your car. You told him you got to go
- 22:13Speaker 1: to the doctor because you got some medical complications. He
- 22:17Speaker 1: can't do that, and then you told him using mama's
- 22:20Speaker 1: call his mama's card. And would I'd be wrong for
- 22:24Speaker 1: cussing hard or kicking her tail? What are you doing?
- 22:30Speaker 1: This is your fault. The fact that his mama can
- 22:34Speaker 1: call you, The fact that you had him call his
- 22:37Speaker 1: mama says you're in the wrong relationship shitteria that rhymes
- 22:43Speaker 1: with cafeteria, and that's where we have the problem. Att
- 22:48Speaker 1: right there, your name, your age, and this damn baby
- 22:52Speaker 1: you've ben't picked up and moved around in here to
- 22:55Speaker 1: your house that don't have a car. Bad selection. It
- 22:59Speaker 1: ain't his mama, it's the boy you selected to be
- 23:02Speaker 1: your man. There's your problem. Next question, all right. Moving
- 23:07Speaker 1: on to Tay in Ohio. Tay says, I'm a twenty
- 23:10Speaker 1: two year old student. I'm dating a black guy that
- 23:13Speaker 1: is giving me grief because he's very friendly. He feels
- 23:16Speaker 1: like he has to show the back black girls on
- 23:18Speaker 1: campus a lot of attention or they'll hate him for
- 23:21Speaker 1: dating outside of his race. One of the girls can't
- 23:24Speaker 1: stand me, and she's always talking slick to me. Should
- 23:27Speaker 1: I pull her aside to see what the problem is?
- 23:30Speaker 1: Or do I keep ignoring her? Like he said to well,
- 23:34Speaker 1: let me let me give you, let me let me
- 23:35Speaker 1: say something to you. Now when you pull her to
- 23:39Speaker 1: the side. I just want you to understand that ain't
- 23:43Speaker 1: the end of it culturally. Once you pull them to
- 23:49Speaker 1: the side and started dressing it, you fin to get
- 23:55Speaker 1: way moting you bogging fall right now. The dude has
- 24:00Speaker 1: told you to ignore it. You could ignore it, but
- 24:04Speaker 1: I understand the position he's in. He gives them extra
- 24:07Speaker 1: attention so they don't hate him. Uh, look, are you
- 24:14Speaker 1: enjoying this relationship? Sounds lady, It don't sound like she
- 24:19Speaker 1: is to me. You don't like the pressure, you don't
- 24:25Speaker 1: like what come with it. And he's not coping with
- 24:28Speaker 1: it real good either because he feel in some kind
- 24:30Speaker 1: of way. But now let me explain something to you.
- 24:35Speaker 1: Don't pull that black girl to the side. Don't do that.
- 24:41Speaker 1: Don't do that, sister, baby girl. Listen to him, Listen
- 24:44Speaker 1: to Uncle Steve. Don't pull that black girl to the side,
- 24:47Speaker 1: because it ain't gonna go nothing like you think. You're
- 24:49Speaker 1: not gonna believe her damn reaction. First of all, if
- 24:53Speaker 1: you literally tap her on the elbow and say come
- 24:55Speaker 1: over here for me, let me talk to you, you're
- 24:57Speaker 1: not just don't do that, don't you. First, it's gonna
- 25:01Speaker 1: be a pause and hesitation to disbelief that you're addressing her.
- 25:06Speaker 1: But of all the black women you didn't point, you're
- 25:09Speaker 1: gonna picked out her, it's the one you're gonna check her.
- 25:13Speaker 1: I can't even tell you how this fit to go now.
- 25:16Speaker 1: I don't know if you're a cheerleader. I don't know
- 25:18Speaker 1: if he an athlete. I don't know if you're on
- 25:21Speaker 1: a debate team. I don't know what you want. But
- 25:24Speaker 1: do not grab Shterteria Junior and pull her to the side. Now.
- 25:33Speaker 1: It gets is nothing him. Yeah, do not do that.
- 25:38Speaker 1: It's not going to go there. Thank you, Cela Monique
- 25:42Speaker 1: and Tylertown says. My husband and I had a card
- 25:45Speaker 1: party over the weekend and his best buddy got drunk
- 25:48Speaker 1: and slept on our floor all night. He also urinated
- 25:51Speaker 1: on himself and he had on dark jeans, so my
- 25:53Speaker 1: carpet is ruined in that spot. My husband didn't want
- 25:57Speaker 1: to make a big deal out of it and embarrass
- 25:59Speaker 1: him him, so we have to pay to have our
- 26:02Speaker 1: carpet replaced. Shouldn't he make his buddy pay for this?
- 26:06Speaker 1: You're just so drunk you didn't fell asleep on the
- 26:09Speaker 1: floe and peed on yourself. H um. I mean he
- 26:14Speaker 1: could go to him and say, hey, man, look here's
- 26:17Speaker 1: a problem, and use at the house. You got drunk.
- 26:20Speaker 1: I know you couldn't help it, but you laid in
- 26:21Speaker 1: the floor on your peed on yourself, and then my
- 26:23Speaker 1: wife got to replace the corpy man. Can't you give
- 26:26Speaker 1: us a little something on it? You know he should
- 26:29Speaker 1: offer at that point, Well, he not because he gonna
- 26:32Speaker 1: swear him down. He gonna swear him down. He'ped on himself.
- 26:36Speaker 1: Who you know if it's the volunteer that that was?
- 26:38Speaker 1: That wasn't flow? Yeah, no, doud so that was some bill.
- 26:43Speaker 1: You think I peeed on myself. No, that's bill. I
- 26:46Speaker 1: laid in the bill. I saw the bill. I might
- 26:48Speaker 1: knock the cup over. I give you a couple honey. No,
- 26:55Speaker 1: hell no, hell no, it ain't no where and he
- 26:58Speaker 1: ain't laying that any You can't prove he pre no, no, no, no,
- 27:01Speaker 1: hold on, hold on, So you're gonna come to me
- 27:04Speaker 1: with that? Yeah, we got pictures. Hold on, dog, did
- 27:07Speaker 1: you see me? Pete? Yeah? Yeah, now hold on do
- 27:15Speaker 1: oh oh who phone? Hold on? Don so your girl
- 27:20Speaker 1: take a picture to me, pee to turn it around.
- 27:24Speaker 1: It's gonna get turned. Yeah. I gotta fast about it.
- 27:29Speaker 1: I mean he could mention it to him, but it's
- 27:31Speaker 1: the dude gonna deny it and stop him. Card parties
- 27:36Speaker 1: and stop letting people sleep on your floe overnight. Stop
- 27:39Speaker 1: doing that, all right, and send his ass home pee
- 27:43Speaker 1: on his own flow the smell of that house, all right.
- 27:48Speaker 1: Moving on to Stephanie in LA seven, he says, I'm
- 27:51Speaker 1: in my mid forties and I can't function without having
- 27:54Speaker 1: sex at least four times a week. I work long day,
- 27:58Speaker 1: so it's hard for me to meet a good man,
- 28:00Speaker 1: to meet good men, and I end up tens up
- 28:03Speaker 1: all night and can't fall asleep. My neighbor has always
- 28:07Speaker 1: been an option, but I don't want to be intimate
- 28:09Speaker 1: with someone in my building. What's the worst that could happen?
- 28:12Speaker 1: Should I go ahead and invite him over? I don't.
- 28:18Speaker 1: I don't care what you do. I really don't. This
- 28:21Speaker 1: ain't a love question. This is a lust question. You're thirsty.
- 28:26Speaker 1: You're in your forties. You gotta have sex full times
- 28:28Speaker 1: a week. Yeah, you know what. You and your forties
- 28:32Speaker 1: and you have to have sex full times a week. Okay,
- 28:35Speaker 1: we'll go ahead and have it. No, No, if you
- 28:37Speaker 1: have to go ahead, what you want me to tell you? Now?
- 28:40Speaker 1: Your neighbor, you don't want to sleep with him because
- 28:42Speaker 1: he your neighbor? Who? Who? Who? Who've been doing the
- 28:45Speaker 1: full times a week for you up to now. Well
- 28:47Speaker 1: that part see what I think is you gouts to
- 28:51Speaker 1: have sex full times a week. Your problem is you
- 28:54Speaker 1: can't find nobody want to have sex which you full
- 28:57Speaker 1: times a week. That's your real problem, That's what she said. Yeah,
- 29:03Speaker 1: all right, coming up at the top of the hour,
- 29:06Speaker 1: we'll have some entertainment news right after this. You're listening
- 29:10Speaker 1: to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, So tomorrow
- 29:15Speaker 1: is Founders Day for the ladies of Alpha Kappa Alpha

- 30:54Speaker 1: I know you're big on your you're on your big
- 30:57Speaker 1: press tour this week, but do you and Marjorie have
- 30:59Speaker 1: some special plan for Laurie's twenty fifth birthday this weekend?
- 31:03Speaker 1: Out of here? We ain't ye You know what were
- 31:10Speaker 1: you guys going back and forth year sixty fifth or
- 31:12Speaker 1: twenty fifth? Oh, she gonna tell me how big her
- 31:15Speaker 1: twenty fifth is. Dad, The twenty fifty is the biggest birthday. Okay,
- 31:19Speaker 1: you think that now? You think that now because this
- 31:25Speaker 1: year you're just getting here. You you thought your thirteenth
- 31:28Speaker 1: was monumentis too, Then you thought your sixteenth was whoa.
- 31:32Speaker 1: Then you thought your twenty firth was brand new cowbells.
- 31:35Speaker 1: Ranging Now you got your twenty fifth you think that's
- 31:37Speaker 1: something I told Laurie. I said, Lord, my birthday is
- 31:41Speaker 1: the big birthday. Dad. How can you say that twenty
- 31:46Speaker 1: five is a quarter of a century. Oh, I said,
- 31:50Speaker 1: baby sixty five is a way bigger birthday. How can
- 31:53Speaker 1: you say that? I say, because a whole lot less
- 31:55Speaker 1: people get to mine, whole lot less people gets to mind. Lori,
- 32:07Speaker 1: she had a heck on birthday. That's good, that's great.
- 32:10Speaker 1: All right. So Steve, now you know you're a trend setter.
- 32:13Speaker 1: You do know that you started a trend and now
- 32:17Speaker 1: everyone wants to be a judge. Okay, you did it
- 32:21Speaker 1: in radio, you did it in TV, now you're doing
- 32:24Speaker 1: it in the courtroom. Star Jones. Star Jones is making
- 32:28Speaker 1: her return to daytime television in her new role as
- 32:32Speaker 1: hosting judge on Divorce Court. Okay, Star's gone. Replaced Judge
- 32:38Speaker 1: Faith Jenkins, who was moving on to Oxygen to star
- 32:41Speaker 1: in and serve as executive producer on her new show
- 32:44Speaker 1: Killer Relationship with Faith Jenkins, Star, of course we all know,
- 32:49Speaker 1: is an attorney. She's a former New York City homicide prosecutor.
- 32:52Speaker 1: So congratulations to Star and to Judge Faith Jenkins, and Steve,
- 32:57Speaker 1: you know a Faith married to all Kenny Latimore. Kenny Lattimore. Yeah, yeah,
- 33:03Speaker 1: she had been She had been working on the show
- 33:05Speaker 1: for a while. She had been working on show for
- 33:08Speaker 1: a while. Oh. The difference between what you know, Indian
- 33:13Speaker 1: Star is a lawyer and Faith is a lawyer. I
- 33:16Speaker 1: don't anyway. So the difference is they have law degrees.
- 33:20Speaker 1: What you bout? Yeah, that's that's major, you know, right? Yeah,
- 33:29Speaker 1: you know he ain't none of them. Judge's only in
- 33:32Speaker 1: prime time. Down get your show on at night, pimp,
- 33:39Speaker 1: come see me. We're gonna talk a little more in
- 33:44Speaker 1: depth about Judge. Steve coming up later in the show
- 33:46Speaker 1: as well. We have some interesting information that we like
- 33:50Speaker 1: to share. Okay, yeah, okay, all right. In baby news,
- 33:54Speaker 1: we got to say congratulations to Jez and Jenny min Uh.
- 33:58Speaker 1: They had a baby. Jenny Mike of course, this co
- 34:00Speaker 1: host of The Reels That's the Daytime talk Show, announced
- 34:03Speaker 1: the great news on Tuesday, hosted a picture of the
- 34:06Speaker 1: baby on our Instagram with the caption baby Jenkins is here,
- 34:10Speaker 1: along with the baby bottle and a red heart emojid.
- 34:15Speaker 1: Whether it was a boy or girl, we're asking you
- 34:18Speaker 1: you reported. They haven't said the baby here. You ain't
- 34:22Speaker 1: saying none. They haven't said yet. That's why I'm saying that. Well,
- 34:26Speaker 1: is that's some new political correctness thing where they don't
- 34:29Speaker 1: announce baby gendas no more. They just wait and see
- 34:31Speaker 1: what they want to do, what the babies want to do,
- 34:36Speaker 1: what the baby want to do? I mean, that's a
- 34:43Speaker 1: real question. I ain't talking about their baby in particular.
- 34:46Speaker 1: I'm just saying, is it a new trend where you
- 34:48Speaker 1: don't because like you know they're talking about they don't
- 34:50Speaker 1: put baby genders on their certificates no mo. So maybe
- 34:53Speaker 1: people don't tell you what their baby is when it's
- 34:55Speaker 1: born because they won't wait and see. They let the
- 34:58Speaker 1: baby choose. Yeah, pick what you want to do. Yeah,
- 35:03Speaker 1: I'm just that Is that not a fair question to ask?
- 35:06Speaker 1: It's a very interesting question because it is happening in
- 35:09Speaker 1: today's time. Yeah. Yeah, See, I'm not from these times,
- 35:15Speaker 1: and I want to be clear about that. Huh. I'm
- 35:18Speaker 1: not from these times and I want to be clear
- 35:21Speaker 1: about that. Yeah, And neither way and choice been here.
- 35:28Speaker 1: You fitting to be boy well here and learn how
- 35:33Speaker 1: to barbecue, turn yourself into something my daddy thought barbecue.
- 35:37Speaker 1: And need you a man, get out here and barbecue
- 35:40Speaker 1: and turn yourself into something. Coming up at twenty minutes
- 35:43Speaker 1: after the hours, sir, learn how to rake them damn
- 35:46Speaker 1: leaves over there. Make a man out you. You're gonna
- 35:48Speaker 1: rake some leaves and see what happened in we'll have
- 35:51Speaker 1: more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show right out out here.
- 35:53Speaker 1: Wash this car like you post to you're listening to show?
- 35:59Speaker 1: All right, So I have a question for you, guys, Steve.
- 36:02Speaker 1: You know, we just had big holidays, Uh, big family
- 36:06Speaker 1: traditional holidays like we do for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Maybe
- 36:10Speaker 1: not as big as in the past, but still people
- 36:12Speaker 1: over the house. So here's a question. Um, what do
- 36:16Speaker 1: you say to let your company know that you're ready
- 36:19Speaker 1: for them to leave the house? Yeah, without really saying
- 36:25Speaker 1: that you're ready for them to leave? Who, well, I
- 36:30Speaker 1: guess this's it. Yes, it's it right here. What y'all
- 36:35Speaker 1: got going on to night? I do like the club, dude,
- 36:40Speaker 1: I start dimmon lights last. Yeah, I start dimmon lights
- 36:47Speaker 1: and cutting music off. We're going in this year. We're
- 36:49Speaker 1: gonna let you know it's a difference going on. Yeah. Yeah,
- 36:54Speaker 1: Steve is pretty direct. You don't have to direct. Yes,
- 36:58Speaker 1: I go to colt closet saying, you know, you see me,
- 37:01Speaker 1: I just got a hand full of jackets. Hey, which
- 37:04Speaker 1: one of these yours? Dog? Yeah, he did go get
- 37:12Speaker 1: into bed. He did that in New York when we
- 37:17Speaker 1: Steve when we were at lived in New York, remember
- 37:20Speaker 1: that Timmy, he was a car part then just we
- 37:25Speaker 1: thought we were having a good time playing cards. He
- 37:27Speaker 1: just went to the coach close and just like throwing
- 37:29Speaker 1: us coach what with jackets? Okay, cool, it's the best
- 37:42Speaker 1: way to do it, you know, he said, y'all finished,
- 37:44Speaker 1: and he was picking up our plates and then that's
- 37:47Speaker 1: going around the table just click, hey, you know hey,
- 37:50Speaker 1: and then you know, once people see other people started
- 37:52Speaker 1: putting their jacket on. You know, he got kind of
- 37:54Speaker 1: it gets contagious. Yeah, you did have to go. That happens.
- 38:01Speaker 1: I was trying to be kind to you, Sherley. Get
- 38:03Speaker 1: on out now, because if you stay up in here
- 38:05Speaker 1: and tell you right now, yeah, tell me what about
- 38:10Speaker 1: ain't no free morning coffee up in here. So your

- 38:18Speaker 1: Let's wrap this. Tell you right now, ain't no free
- 38:20Speaker 1: cup to coffee in the morning up in there. This
- 38:23Speaker 1: ain't comfort then they ain't what we're doing. If you're
- 38:25Speaker 1: drinking coffee in the morning and here, you gonna work
- 38:27Speaker 1: for it. All right, let's go pack, let's go. You ahead,

- 39:17Speaker 1: listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, this is
- 39:22Speaker 1: one of my favorite parts of the show. When when
- 39:24Speaker 1: you do this, Junior, uh, everyone knows that Steve's birthday
- 39:28Speaker 1: is Monday. We're celebrating kicking it off with this poem, Junior,
- 39:31Speaker 1: what you got hold on? She introduce you Come on,
- 39:34Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen. I found these poems to be rather
- 39:37Speaker 1: alarming at time to times, and so I've created a

- 40:35Speaker 1: title of the poem is what word rhymes with sixty five?
- 40:39Speaker 1: What word rhymes with sixty five? What word rhymes with
- 40:43Speaker 1: sixty five? When you're on top of your game and
- 40:46Speaker 1: you're still alive? What word Rymes was sixty five? Two
- 40:50Speaker 1: hit shows old TV? And still he rids? What word
- 40:55Speaker 1: rise with sixty five? Words of wisdom? That ain't no

- 42:07Speaker 1: rhymes with sixty five? That's not deep? Yeah, that's deep.
- 42:13Speaker 1: That's deep because you there, you made your fingers, so
- 42:15Speaker 1: you made it to sixty five. So some people don't
- 42:17Speaker 1: make it to you. That's why I'm saying what word?
- 42:20Speaker 1: Because it ain't one? Ain't know many people bake it? That?

- 43:03Speaker 1: the person that wrote the poem is at the tender
- 43:07Speaker 1: age of forty three. And when you look at him,
- 43:11Speaker 1: I see a piece of meat, small in statue, big
- 43:17Speaker 1: in love. He's part of them big three, but it's
- 43:24Speaker 1: really not that large at all because he's only forty three.
- 43:29Speaker 1: What word rimes with forty three? Hell, forty three. Why
- 43:35Speaker 1: would you write a poem about being sixty five that
- 43:39Speaker 1: ends up being about me? Here's a word that runs
- 43:44Speaker 1: with forty three, and I said to all of y'all,

- 54:02Speaker 1: Here It is the STRAWBERRYLETTA. Thank you nephew. Subject my
- 54:06Speaker 1: three weight love affair. Dear Stephen Shirley. I'm a forty
- 54:10Speaker 1: year old married woman and my husband and I have
- 54:13Speaker 1: a sister friend that has been a major part of
- 54:16Speaker 1: my life since I was seven years old. We did
- 54:19Speaker 1: everything together, even went to college the same college and
- 54:23Speaker 1: graduated at the same time. When I got engaged, she
- 54:26Speaker 1: got engaged. Our fiances didn't get along, so my man
- 54:30Speaker 1: would always take my bestie side when she was having
- 54:33Speaker 1: an issue with her fiance. A few weeks after we
- 54:36Speaker 1: got engaged, my man told me that my bestie's man
- 54:39Speaker 1: was cheating on her. I was shocked and hurt when
- 54:42Speaker 1: I saw the video of her fiance asleep naked over
- 54:46Speaker 1: his side chick's house. My man and I decided not
- 54:49Speaker 1: to tell her anything, but then my man got really
- 54:52Speaker 1: upset with the dude and went out and went and
- 54:55Speaker 1: told my bestie about the cheating. She was so devastated.
- 55:00Speaker 1: Stay with us for two weeks and called off their engagement.
- 55:03Speaker 1: So now that we're married, she's part of our family.
- 55:06Speaker 1: She travels with my husband, hubby, and I, and she
- 55:10Speaker 1: comes for weekly movie nights at her house. She's dating again,
- 55:14Speaker 1: and when she meets men, she brings them to meet
- 55:17Speaker 1: us so we can pass judgment on them. I've been
- 55:20Speaker 1: noticing lately that my husband is more opinionated than usual,
- 55:24Speaker 1: and none of the guys have been good enough for
- 55:26Speaker 1: my bestie. That's a red flag for me, so I
- 55:29Speaker 1: jokingly asked him if he'd like to clone himself so
- 55:32Speaker 1: my bestie could be with a man just like him.
- 55:35Speaker 1: He got very irritated with me, so I have been
- 55:38Speaker 1: wondering if something is going on with him in my bestie.
- 55:41Speaker 1: As a test, I told him that we're going on
- 55:44Speaker 1: an anniversary trip alone. He said it would be weird
- 55:48Speaker 1: to leave my bestie out. I asked him if we
- 55:51Speaker 1: are in a three way love affair. He laughed it
- 55:53Speaker 1: off and said no, but does he really care about
- 55:56Speaker 1: her feelings? What's going on here? Well, yeah, he does
- 56:03Speaker 1: care about her feelings, as do you. I mean, you
- 56:06Speaker 1: called her your sister friend. You guys have been together
- 56:09Speaker 1: since seven years old, so Yeah, he cares about her
- 56:14Speaker 1: for sure, and if you ask me, he's certainly acting
- 56:18Speaker 1: like a guilty, jealous man when she brings other men around.
- 56:23Speaker 1: I'm very surprised it took you so long to notice
- 56:26Speaker 1: a red flag. I think they've been several First, and
- 56:30Speaker 1: most importantly, when you guys agree, and when you and
- 56:32Speaker 1: your husband agree not to tell your bestie. He's the
- 56:36Speaker 1: one who told about the cheating. That's a major rid flag.
- 56:40Speaker 1: That's not really what men do. They don't snitch on
- 56:44Speaker 1: each other. Now, he's so concerned about her and who
- 56:48Speaker 1: she dates. You guys have movie nights together and she
- 56:52Speaker 1: travels with you. What you're feeling is right. You know,
- 56:56Speaker 1: it is a three way love affair. Who or what
- 56:59Speaker 1: couple do you know whose husband can be let behave?
- 57:02Speaker 1: Your husband is behaving about her and that there's nothing
- 57:06Speaker 1: going on. Just think about that. He's doing way too
- 57:09Speaker 1: much when it comes to her, and you need to
- 57:11Speaker 1: check them both. You don't have to catch them in
- 57:14Speaker 1: the act or anything like that to know what's going on.
- 57:17Speaker 1: You already suspect them anyway, So I say you confront
- 57:20Speaker 1: them and get it over with. Steve. Wow, Well, it's interesting,
- 57:26Speaker 1: it's an interesting letter. I will say this about women.
- 57:31Speaker 1: Most of the time, what you feel is real. Most
- 57:37Speaker 1: of the time. It's because God gifted you all with
- 57:41Speaker 1: this thing called intuition, and he gave it to you
- 57:43Speaker 1: more than he gave it to the women are born
- 57:47Speaker 1: with it. You should trust it and lean on it.
- 57:49Speaker 1: So usually what you think or feel is usually real.
- 57:53Speaker 1: You're forty year old married woman. Your husband and I
- 57:55Speaker 1: have a sister, Fred. That's interesting. That's been a major
- 58:01Speaker 1: part of my life since I was seven. We did
- 58:05Speaker 1: everything together. This is very important in this whole letter.
- 58:11Speaker 1: We did everything together. The pay attention. Y'all even went
- 58:15Speaker 1: to the same college, graduated at the same time. When
- 58:23Speaker 1: I got engaged, she got engaged. That's everything. That ass everything.
- 58:31Speaker 1: Our fiances didn't get along, so my man would always
- 58:35Speaker 1: take my bestie side when she was having an issue
- 58:38Speaker 1: with her fiance. A few weeks after we got engaged,
- 58:44Speaker 1: my man told me that my bestie's man was cheating
- 58:48Speaker 1: on her. I was shocked and hurt when I saw
- 58:53Speaker 1: the video of her fiance asleep naked over his side
- 58:59Speaker 1: chick's house. Stop Wait a minute, what, Wait a minute,
- 59:07Speaker 1: you're saying that your man told you that your besties
- 59:12Speaker 1: man was cheating on her. And then right after that
- 59:16Speaker 1: you said, I'm shocked and hurt when I saw the
- 59:20Speaker 1: video of her fiance asleep naked over his side. Chick's house?
- 59:24Speaker 1: Where your man get the video from? Where did your
- 59:29Speaker 1: man get the video from? Now, let's just do some
- 59:37Speaker 1: hood logic hill. One or two things was happening. Either
- 59:44Speaker 1: the fiance who don't get along? Hello, the fiances that
- 59:52Speaker 1: don't get along? He gave your husband the video? Like, hey,
- 59:59Speaker 1: checking me out? Ah, your husband made the video, labor.
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: Two things can happen, ain'tber Two things can happen? Hello, Steve, Hello,
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: y'all do everything again? Hello, all that thought. We'll have
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: part two of your response coming up at twenty three
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: minutes after the hour. Today's Strawberry Letters, subject my three
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: way love affair. We'll get back into it right after this.
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: You're listening, all right, Come on, Steve, let's recap today's
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: Strawberry letter. The subject is my three way love affair.
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: Forty you old married woman and husband. They have a
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: sister friend. Well it's a husband now, but we're gonna
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: take you on this journey, and the sister friend been
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: a major part of this woman's life and to seven
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: they do everything together. Keep that in mind, even when
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: to the same college graduated at the same time. When
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: I got engaged, she got engaged. Our fiances didn't get
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: along so much. My man, which is her fiance the
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: writer of this letter, would always take my bestie side
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: when she was having an issue with a fiance. Now,
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: a few weeks after everybody got engaged, my man told
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: me that my bestie's man was cheating on her. I
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: was shocking hurt when I saw the video of her
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: fiance asleep naked over his side chick's house. I'm confused,
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: Where did your man get this video from? Because they
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: don't get along, the two fiances don't get along, and
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: the two fiances don't like each other. He always sided
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: with the girl. Where did he get the video? Because
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: if I don't like a dude and we ain't cool,
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: why would I show him a video or me asleep
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: over another chick's house? What purpose did that, sir? Unless
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: your man was there and took the video. You hit him?
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: Crickets don't know? Did you hear them? Crickets? Just now
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: I got you thinking, ain't I My man and I
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: decided not to tell her anything. But then my man
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: got really upset with the dude and went and told
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: my bestie about the cheating. Like Shirley said, what man
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: do that? What man does that? She was so devastated
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: she stayed with us for two weeks and called off
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: her engagement. So now that we're married, now y'all married.
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: Now she's part of our family. She travels with my
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: husband and I husband and I, she comes for weekly
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: movie nights in our house. Okay, she's dating again, which
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: means that she ain't got no problem meeting men. But
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: check this out. And when she meets me, and she
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: bringed them to meet us so we could pass judgment
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: on him. So it don't take this chick long to
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: meet me in because she ain't got no problem meeting men.
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: So I'm assuming that your girl is attractive, and I
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: think your girl is attractive to your husband, so attractive
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: that he wants hurt around everywhere. So now y'all traveling together,
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: y'all doing movie nights at the house. I've been noticing
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: later that my husband is more opinionated than usual, and
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: none of the guys have been good enough for my bestie.
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: That's a red flag for me. I had a lady
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: on my talk show one time said women should stop
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: collecting red flags. It's a red flag for a reason.
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: Stop collecting them. But you didn't put this one in
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: the back seat of a car. So I jokingly asked him.
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: I joke, you know, would you like to clone yourself
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: so your bestie could be with a man just like him?
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: He got irritated with me, so I've been wondering if
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: something is going on with him and my bestie. As
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: a test, I told him that we're going on our
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: anniversary trip alone. He said it'd be weird to leave
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: your best die out. I asked him if we were
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: in a three way love affair. He laughed it off
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: and said no, but he does really care about her feelings.
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: What's going on here? Okay, okay, okay, you're ready. You're ready.
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: What you think going on? Because that's what you wrote
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: the letter? Folk usually what women thinking. Field is the deal.
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: I've said that now. The fact that this whole letter
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: took you this long to write, and then your last
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: question is what's going on here? It's really amazing to me.
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: Now when he said, when you told him, y'all was
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: going on y'all anniversary trip alone, and he said it'd
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: be weird to leave my best die out. Ask him
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: if we are in the three way love affair? Yeah,
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: that's what. Yeah, that's that's what you're here. That's what
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: you're in. But you know you gotta be careful what
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: you say and let come out your mouth. You did
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: say y'all do everything together, didn't Ain't that what you said.
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: Didn't y'all invite this third party into y'all's life and home.
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: Don't she go on all the trips with y'all and
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: she eager to go. She don't never say, girl, nigga,
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: y'all do y'all, y'all need some blue time. I ain't
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: even go out there and be no third wheel because
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: that's what most people say. Girl. Let me sitting up
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: having no dinner with y'all and everything, and I'm the
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: only one. I ain't got no man. Well, she ain't
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: saying that because she got a man. Yeah, because when
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: he goes on there to get the coffee, where do
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: you think he stopped? When he go to the gym
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: and the spot on the trip? Well, who you think
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: at the gym and the spa? His gym work getting
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: done in that other room. Let me ask you another question.
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: You ever noticed that the two of y'all ain't ever
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: alone together. I'm talking about you, your girlfriend. You ever
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: noticed that? Oh? Wow? Huh? Have you? Have you picked
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: that game? When y'all go on the trips, it ain't
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: ever you and your girl going down for coffee and
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: te He always going somewhere by himself. But you don't
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: see how she don't come girls, says he going to
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: the gym. I'm gonna come on up now. Caught the
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: gym work getting done in her room? Push up, push ups,
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: sit ups, pull ups, jumping Jack's mountain climbers. Yeah, you
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: know a lot of cardio, Yeah, a lot of cardio.

- 1:15:24Speaker 1: show on ABC last week. It's audience, at five point
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: two million, was nearly two million more than the season
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: opener of the Bachelor. And this is all based on
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: Nielsen ratings. Congratulates, Yeah, you cannot control the numbers. And

- 1:21:54Speaker 1: as we get off into twenty twenty two. Uh, taking
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: inventor story of the people that's surrounding you. That's very important.
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: Some people cannot figure out why they just can't move
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: along in life, and a lot of times it's because
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: we're stagnant, and we can't figure out why we're stagnant. Well,
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: if you don't change the input that's going into your mind,
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: there's no way you can change the output that's producing
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: the outcomes. You have to change the input, and a
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: big part of your input are the people that you
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: associate yourself with. You gotta get rid of some people. Now,
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: listen to me all that. Hey, listen, you know we
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: got hood laws that we live by that are not
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: always meant to progress you. You got to keep it real, No,
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: you don't. You got to keep it moving. You've got
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: to make forward progress, keeping it real. Often times that
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: said the people that's remind that's trying to keep you
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: in a certain place for their own purposes. You know
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: how many times along the way I was going, hell, man,
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: you forgot where you come from. Now I forgot where
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: I come from. I just didn't take you with me.
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: That's all it was. I just didn't take you, but
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: didn't take you. Don't mean that I forgot why I
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: come or because I don't give everybody on my block
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: a job. Don't mean I've changed. You're not qualified. Come on, man,
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: y'all got to get with it and understand what's going
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: on here. You have to get rid of some people
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: that don't make you a bad person. But I've told
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: you home how many times on this show did everybody
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: come with you? Can't go with you, But you better
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: start taking a real serious look at the people around
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: you because that could be the reason that you're staggering
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: and you're not moving forward. Check everybody out. Listen to me.
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: Is there some people in your life that's not calling
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: you with good news, praying for you, wishing you where
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: always cheering you on? Let me ask you something if
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: you don't have that person, what do you need with
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: the other person? Hey man, I wasn't gonna say nothing, man,
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: But you know, man, I heard them talking about you. Man.
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: You read this on the internet. They said this, Hey man,
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: let me ask you something, man, How you holding you all? Right? Man?
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: There's so many people man, be talking about you. What
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: that person right there? You don't need that person. You
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: don't need that person that every time the phone rang
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: something wrong and guess what, we all got them. You
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: don't need that person where every time the phone rang
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: they need something from you and never have nothing to
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: offer to you. But they put that guilt trip on
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: you like you always got yourself together? You know? Man?
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: If I could be more like you, well you're not.
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: You're not. And the reason you're more like me is
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: because you don't want to work for it. You're sitting
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: around with a sense of entitlement and you're looking at
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: me and your favorite, the favorite line I get it
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: is I know you got it. That's the number one
- 1:25:13Speaker 1: line I get from people. I know you got it? Man,
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: saw y'all? Man, do you know man that I got
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: a call recently? Man? Congratulations? Man? Heard about the new show?
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: Whoa you just be doing it? Hey, let me ask
- 1:25:27Speaker 1: you something. You think you could let me hold? Come on? Man? Really? Really?
- 1:25:35Speaker 1: Hey man? Hey man, you think you can let me hold?
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: Hold on? Man? What happened to the congratulations on the
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: new show? Man? I'm happy for you, man, Just want

- 1:25:48Speaker 1: been good, but all no a man, congratulations? Hey man,
- 1:25:53Speaker 1: you think you can let me hold after you told
- 1:25:55Speaker 1: me I'm successful, I'm telling you Man. As soon as
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: he hung up, I don't know what made me not
- 1:26:02Speaker 1: block him before, but he helped me understand because in
- 1:26:06Speaker 1: twenty twenty two, I'm not taking those people with me
- 1:26:09Speaker 1: because the people right there, man, they just hold you back.
- 1:26:12Speaker 1: Taking an inventory. Go through your phone and take an inventory.
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: People that's calling you with good news, praising you, praying
- 1:26:18Speaker 1: for you, cheering for you. Keep them in your phone,
- 1:26:22Speaker 1: all them sometimeing people and then people with that bad news.
- 1:26:26Speaker 1: Block them, removed them, and move on with your life.
