- 1:42Speaker 5: Turn You probably got to turn the mouth turn out,
- 1:46Speaker 5: turn the water of the morning up.
- 1:49Speaker 1: Looking me, come me, come out?
- 1:59Speaker 2: You're thinking that, I sure will come on and everybody
- 2:04Speaker 2: y'all listening to the voice, come on, dig me now,
- 2:07Speaker 2: one and only Steve Harvey got a radio show man.
- 2:10Speaker 2: I got something I want to share with you today.
- 2:12Speaker 2: I was in the gym this morning and trained son
- 2:17Speaker 2: send him a text, and he sent him a text
- 2:19Speaker 2: this morning of a dude in the gym lifting up
- 2:23Speaker 2: huge weights, dumb bails, doing a bench press like, you know,
- 2:29Speaker 2: just huge dumb baills, you know stuff I ain't doing,
- 2:32Speaker 2: you know, hundreds some pounds, not really sure was huge.
- 2:35Speaker 2: I've never seen dumb balls this big. And the man
- 2:38Speaker 2: was pressing him and Lee's son took a picture of him,
- 2:41Speaker 2: and he sent this to his father this morning. His
- 2:43Speaker 2: father shared it with me. I want to share it
- 2:45Speaker 2: with y'all because man I can't tell you how it's
- 2:48Speaker 2: explained so much of your life. And when he showed
- 2:52Speaker 2: the man lifting this excessive weight in the gym, he said, wow, Pop,
- 2:55Speaker 2: look at this dude right here. The caption he put
- 2:57Speaker 2: under it was, don't pray for it to be easier,
- 3:01Speaker 2: pray for you to be stronger. Ain't that cold?
- 3:04Speaker 1: See?
- 3:05Speaker 2: I was thinking about that. As soon as he said it,
- 3:07Speaker 2: I said, Man, I gotta go on the radio. I
- 3:09Speaker 2: gotta tell everybody what I see now. Don't pray for
- 3:13Speaker 2: it to be easier, pray for you to be stronger. Okay,
- 3:18Speaker 2: let me tell you how important that is now. I
- 3:20Speaker 2: just heard it that way today, and I'm sharing it
- 3:22Speaker 2: with you immediately because you know what that has. It's
- 3:25Speaker 2: gonna help me a lot, because oftentimes I've done it indirectly,
- 3:29Speaker 2: and then sometimes I've done it all the wrong. I've
- 3:32Speaker 2: sometimes I've actually prayed for it to be stronger, but
- 3:35Speaker 2: I've also prayed sometimes for it to be easier. I
- 3:39Speaker 2: have done that and been guilty of it myself. But
- 3:42Speaker 2: from now on, after hearing that, I'm changing my prayer
- 3:45Speaker 2: because see, you can't have it both ways. You can't
- 3:48Speaker 2: be strong and weak at the same time. Now, if
- 3:50Speaker 2: you keep asking God to make it easier, what you
- 3:54Speaker 2: are not asking him for is for you to be
- 3:56Speaker 2: able to handle whatever happens. So the next thing that
- 3:58Speaker 2: comes along that you ain't work your muscles on to
- 4:01Speaker 2: prepare you for, that's gonna sink you too. So what
- 4:05Speaker 2: I learned by that is sometimes even I got to
- 4:09Speaker 2: change my prayer too. Now I do most of the time,
- 4:12Speaker 2: but I'm a human being and sometimes I just want
- 4:14Speaker 2: it to go away. But now, what I really need
- 4:16Speaker 2: to pray for is to strength all the time to
- 4:18Speaker 2: deal with whatever besets me, whatever comes my way. Because
- 4:22Speaker 2: to become successful, and we've talked about this how many times,
- 4:26Speaker 2: it's hard. So since knowing is gonna be hard, why
- 4:30Speaker 2: not ask for the strength to handle that. See, stop
- 4:33Speaker 2: praying for weaker moments, Stop praying for it to be easier.
- 4:37Speaker 2: Stop asking God to make your weight playing and easy. Okay,
- 4:41Speaker 2: Now what now, you ain't worked your muscles out to
- 4:43Speaker 2: learn how to handle nothing. I was at it this morning.
- 4:46Speaker 2: I put a little more weight on it. In order
- 4:48Speaker 2: to grow. I got to change. And you can't change
- 4:51Speaker 2: if you're gonna stay the same. You can't keep picking
- 4:54Speaker 2: up the same forty pound dumb bails. And you want
- 4:57Speaker 2: some more results, you gonna keep getting it. You keep
- 5:00Speaker 2: doing what you've been doing. You gonna keep getting what
- 5:02Speaker 2: you've been getting. You cannot grow without the change. So
- 5:06Speaker 2: when we talking to God and we're asking God to
- 5:09Speaker 2: make it easy for us.
- 5:10Speaker 1: Where to growth at, where to change at?
- 5:13Speaker 2: No, you got to ask God to make you stronger,
- 5:16Speaker 2: not to make the situation weaker.
- 5:18Speaker 1: I'm changing my prayers.
- 5:20Speaker 2: Man, I'm going at him now with just just make
- 5:23Speaker 2: me strong enough to handle whatever happened, whatever come my way.
- 5:25Speaker 1: Give me the strift to handler.
- 5:27Speaker 2: And now whatever I see in front of me that
- 5:29Speaker 2: I'm trying to go after, that's gonna require more.
- 5:31Speaker 1: Give me the strift to do that too.
- 5:33Speaker 2: Help me be a stronger man, Help me be a
- 5:37Speaker 2: stronger person, Help me be a stronger woman, a stronger boy,
- 5:42Speaker 2: a stronger girl, a stronger student, a stronger boss, a
- 5:47Speaker 2: stronger employee, a stronger leader, a stronger follower.
- 5:50Speaker 1: Give me that. Give me strift to do that.
- 5:53Speaker 2: Stop asking for it to be simple and easy and
- 5:56Speaker 2: paved the way what you want, man, the road to
- 5:58Speaker 2: success is always under construction. Always, it ain't ever paved
- 6:03Speaker 2: and smooth and easy. Look here, man, go out there todays,
- 6:06Speaker 2: try to be successful. See what you're gonna run into. Man,
- 6:08Speaker 2: it's orange barrels, it's workers, it's detools, it's got craters
- 6:12Speaker 2: in the road with no wanting signs on it. That's
- 6:15Speaker 2: how hard it is to be successful. The road to
- 6:17Speaker 2: success is always under construction. It ain't finnsh smooth out
- 6:22Speaker 2: for you. You got to ask God for strength. Be
- 6:24Speaker 2: what you're supposed to be. Now, listen, look at hill.
- 6:27Speaker 2: When you make a mistake, and you're gonna make them,
- 6:30Speaker 2: we all do. We fall down, but we get up.
- 6:36Speaker 2: A saint is just a sinner who felled down, but
- 6:39Speaker 2: he didn't stay there.
- 6:41Speaker 1: That's all a saint is. All these Christians running their
- 6:44Speaker 1: mouth with you.
- 6:45Speaker 2: About how fired up and saved they on all this,
- 6:48Speaker 2: got all that, but them people.
- 6:50Speaker 1: Them people make mistakes all the time, all the time.
- 6:55Speaker 2: And see the moment we as Christian people start telling
- 6:58Speaker 2: people the truth about being a most people can get
- 7:01Speaker 2: interested in it. But if you gonna tell everybody this
- 7:04Speaker 2: lie that you over here living this perfect life and
- 7:07Speaker 2: everything and ever since you came to God, your life
- 7:09Speaker 2: been smooth, and you don't have no and he done
- 7:12Speaker 2: took all your pains.
- 7:13Speaker 1: Await, what what?
- 7:15Speaker 8: Who are you?
- 7:16Speaker 2: Where that life at? You're talking about Heaven now, ain't you?
- 7:19Speaker 2: But I heard you had to die to go there?
- 7:21Speaker 2: So what you're really talking about? Come on, man, I'm
- 7:25Speaker 2: talking to the cat that's in some real pain right now,
- 7:28Speaker 2: that's in some real trouble right now. The dude is
- 7:30Speaker 2: at the crossroad right now, the dude that's been struggling
- 7:33Speaker 2: and dealing with it for a long time. I'm talking
- 7:35Speaker 2: to the cat that's out there, been trying to figure
- 7:38Speaker 2: out what's wrong man, why I can't seem to get
- 7:40Speaker 2: it right. That's who I'm talking to. I'm saying, come
- 7:44Speaker 2: over here and give God a try. Come over here,
- 7:46Speaker 2: with your imperfect self, with your imperfect ways, and watch
- 7:50Speaker 2: him change some things about you. Watch him give you
- 7:53Speaker 2: the strength. See what he did for me. Let me okay, See,
- 7:55Speaker 2: best way I can do is just tell you what
- 7:56Speaker 2: happened to me. See what it did for me. Was
- 8:00Speaker 2: took me and took how it was and made me
- 8:04Speaker 2: better with it. I'm still an aggressive man, I'm probably
- 8:08Speaker 2: not gonna ever stop being aggressive. But he took that
- 8:10Speaker 2: aggression and he starts shaping it. Now for the first
- 8:13Speaker 2: twelve minutes in the morning, be aggressive about me, Be
- 8:16Speaker 2: aggressive about the feelings you got towards me, your father,
- 8:19Speaker 2: your leader, your God, your savior.
- 8:21Speaker 1: Be aggressive, man.
- 8:22Speaker 2: Tell people how you made it, Steve aggressively, since you
- 8:25Speaker 2: want to, since you're aggressive and you've been aggressive, I
- 8:28Speaker 2: made you be aggressive with that. Now, since you like
- 8:32Speaker 2: to tell it like it is, Steve, then tell the
- 8:34Speaker 2: truth of how it really is.
- 8:36Speaker 1: How I do for you, what I done for you.
- 8:38Speaker 1: Tell everybody you know what I've.
- 8:40Speaker 2: Done for you in a plain, simple way so they
- 8:42Speaker 2: can feel you. See, he ain't changed me. He just
- 8:45Speaker 2: made me better with it. When you get loud, hey, man,
- 8:48Speaker 2: every now and then and get loud for me. You
- 8:51Speaker 2: know you want to tell some joke, you real funny,
- 8:53Speaker 2: tell something funny, but let it be so more people
- 8:56Speaker 2: can hear it.
- 8:57Speaker 1: See, that's what he did for me.
- 9:00Speaker 2: If all you cats out there is scared to come
- 9:01Speaker 2: on over here because you scared it's gonna change you,
- 9:04Speaker 2: turn you into some little punk, now you got to
- 9:06Speaker 2: come over here and beat this little meek lamb laid.
- 9:08Speaker 1: Off the slaughter every Sunday. That ain't what it is
- 9:10Speaker 1: over here.
- 9:12Speaker 2: God looking for men, God looking for for real soldiers
- 9:15Speaker 2: out here. See everybody I talk to you don't want
- 9:18Speaker 2: to hear about Christianity. So I ain't got nothing from there.
- 9:21Speaker 2: How about that? How about that? I'm cool with that.
- 9:24Speaker 2: See every Christian ain't turning another cheek. I ain't there.
- 9:27Speaker 2: You slap me?
- 9:28Speaker 1: Man? I ain't. Man, I'm sorry, I don't. I don't know.
- 9:30Speaker 2: I ain't there yet. But see I'm a work in progress.
- 9:34Speaker 2: He ain't through with me yet. I might get to
- 9:35Speaker 2: the point where I can't turn my other cheek. I
- 9:38Speaker 2: doubt it. I ain't. I ain't looking for I ain't
- 9:40Speaker 2: praying for that one. I'm I don't for real about you, man,
- 9:43Speaker 2: I'll be praying for most dreams. So when I when
- 9:46Speaker 2: you do slap me, when I come back around, I
- 9:48Speaker 2: come back nice hard slap me. You won't slap me twice.
- 9:52Speaker 2: I can promise you that. Where am I going with this?
- 9:53Speaker 2: Steve Huh? I'm sorry, y'all. Just remember what I told you.

- 10:08Speaker 2: To be up today, to be awake, to be alive,
- 10:12Speaker 2: to be here. What a great gift it is. Man,
- 10:15Speaker 2: God did it again. He did it again. Oh boy,
- 10:19Speaker 2: he's something else. Ain't if you don't think he is
- 10:22Speaker 2: trying to leave without him? He's everything, He's amazing, he's awesome,
- 10:25Speaker 2: all of that. Steve Harvey Morning Show. Just grateful ladies
- 10:29Speaker 2: and gentlemen. Shirley Strawberry calling for real Mississippi, Monica the
- 10:34Speaker 2: Junior and the legend that is Nephew Thomas Junior.
- 10:37Speaker 9: Up.
- 10:38Speaker 10: Hey, let me ask you some un because you know,
- 10:41Speaker 10: if you you know, you are this version of Steve Harvey,
- 10:45Speaker 10: the comedian, the game show host, motivations speaker, mogul uh huh.
- 10:51Speaker 3: But if you wasn't that, what would you be?
- 10:53Speaker 1: Now?
- 10:54Speaker 3: What would you do if you wasn't this?
- 10:56Speaker 1: With all these skills?
- 10:57Speaker 3: What would you like to be?
- 10:58Speaker 1: Then?
- 11:00Speaker 2: Basketball coach? Professional coach, no like high school college?
- 11:09Speaker 8: Mm hmm.
- 11:10Speaker 1: That's a really good skill set that I have.
- 11:13Speaker 2: I'd be a coach. Yeah, I would be a coach
- 11:18Speaker 2: of young men. Oh. I could have been a barber.
- 11:24Speaker 2: I used to cut hair. Never had a license or nothing,
- 11:27Speaker 2: but I could cut hair. Yeah. I used to you
- 11:30Speaker 2: don't need to have college. I know you.
- 11:34Speaker 7: I know I could cut him, no Tom, because he's
- 11:37Speaker 7: good though I cut heads like his before.
- 11:40Speaker 2: But I would be a barber. I was a pretty
- 11:43Speaker 2: good barber. I would have made an excellent lawyer. But
- 11:46Speaker 2: I found out they went to school more than other people.
- 11:49Speaker 2: So yeah, as soon as they told me you finished
- 11:53Speaker 2: college and go to laws, yeah, well I'm not gonna
- 11:57Speaker 2: do that.
- 11:58Speaker 1: I can finish this college, right.
- 12:00Speaker 8: What about a politician?
- 12:02Speaker 1: Steve could.
- 12:04Speaker 2: Because you know I don't. I don't do well in power.
- 12:06Speaker 2: I don't like red tape. I don't like red tape
- 12:10Speaker 2: and lies, and I'm not gonna be able to hold
- 12:13Speaker 2: a party line.
- 12:14Speaker 8: You don't like lies?
- 12:16Speaker 2: Is that what you I don't like lies, lies to
- 12:18Speaker 2: people about what I'm gonna do for them, cause you know,
- 12:21Speaker 2: and plus like you know, I wouldn't have been a
- 12:23Speaker 2: good Democrat because I don't agree with everything you know,
- 12:27Speaker 2: like for example.
- 12:29Speaker 1: I just don't like some of the policies. You know,
- 12:33Speaker 1: I could be.
- 12:33Speaker 2: I would work better as an independent because I agree
- 12:37Speaker 2: with some of the stuff Democrats say, and I agree
- 12:39Speaker 2: with some of the stuff republicans. I don't like everything
- 12:43Speaker 2: the Democrats say, I show don't like everything Republicans say
- 12:47Speaker 2: because it's hypocritical, pull yourself up by your bootstraps. Well
- 12:51Speaker 2: that's good and deal, but look, can we make sure
- 12:53Speaker 2: everybody got boots though?
- 12:56Speaker 8: Okay, I got you.
- 12:58Speaker 2: You know, Yeah, Like politics ain't gonna do for me.
- 13:02Speaker 2: And then if I ran for president, I have to
- 13:04Speaker 2: give up. I can't give up my jobs.
- 13:09Speaker 11: What you wouldn't have time for anything else?
- 13:13Speaker 1: You don't like that? Check the putting out for the president.
- 13:15Speaker 11: It's not enough, look greatly, but you would you would
- 13:24Speaker 11: be in a position to help so many people.
- 13:27Speaker 1: No, you're not.
- 13:28Speaker 2: You can't help nobody as president because the other party
- 13:31Speaker 2: ain't gonna let you.
- 13:33Speaker 8: All right, all right, guy, thank you.
- 13:35Speaker 11: Coming up at thirty two minutes after the hour, the

- 22:44Speaker 2: you stayed in the long distance, long term relationship.
- 22:48Speaker 1: Why did you do it? Did she cheated on you
- 22:52Speaker 1: and said you wasted her time?
- 22:55Speaker 2: Yeah? Okay, you wouldn't gonna marry her, right, So how
- 23:00Speaker 2: do you trust again? Why don't you start listening to
- 23:03Speaker 2: yourself sometime? If you were a woman that ain't a
- 23:06Speaker 2: marriage material but you're in a long term relationship and
- 23:09Speaker 2: you in your.
- 23:09Speaker 1: Fifties, how stupid can you be? Yeah? Late? Yeah? And

- 23:19Speaker 2: She wasn't marriage material. I don't understand the problem you have. Yeah,
- 23:25Speaker 2: don't you see the blessing in getting out?
- 23:27Speaker 7: Now?
- 23:29Speaker 2: She said you wasted her time, But dog, you wasn't
- 23:31Speaker 2: gonna marry the woman, no way.
- 23:32Speaker 1: Dog? Listen? Why why why did you write us? How

- 23:37Speaker 7: Dog?
- 23:38Speaker 1: Please? Like you culsh like you just cushed? Know what
- 23:43Speaker 1: we do, bruh? You know what we do to get
- 23:46Speaker 1: over you?
- 23:47Speaker 2: We get another U just go ahead them, but don't
- 23:51Speaker 2: call me with me like like like like I'm monst
- 23:54Speaker 2: sympathize with you.
- 23:55Speaker 3: Okay, all right?
- 23:57Speaker 11: Moving on to Kalicia and Scranton, Caliicia writes, my coworkers
- 24:01Speaker 11: and I go to lunch as a group. My favorite
- 24:04Speaker 11: male coworker asked if we can meet and eat alone sometimes.
- 24:09Speaker 11: I like him as a friend, but I think he
- 24:12Speaker 11: likes me more. I don't think my husband would approve
- 24:15Speaker 11: of our lunch. How do I tell him?
- 24:16Speaker 6: No?
- 24:18Speaker 8: Nicely?
- 24:19Speaker 2: No, I'm married. I can't go nowhere with you by myself. Yeah, well,
- 24:24Speaker 2: what is it nice about? He know you married and

- 24:29Speaker 2: all that, But I guess.
- 24:32Speaker 8: He is her favorite male coworker.
- 24:35Speaker 2: Now that well, okay, you his favorite female coworker. So tada,
- 24:42Speaker 2: eventually all that friendship.

- 25:06Speaker 1: I tell you right now, he ain't fitting approved? And
- 25:08Speaker 1: you know that? But he your favorite? Why why is

- 25:19Speaker 1: to be your off work thing. That's all. This is it?
- 25:23Speaker 1: You got another one?
- 25:23Speaker 8: S Yeah. Jes Nashville.
- 25:28Speaker 11: Says, my dad passed away four years ago when I
- 25:32Speaker 11: was a senior in high school. His best friend stepped
- 25:35Speaker 11: up and was there.
- 25:36Speaker 8: For me and my mom.
- 25:38Speaker 11: He's still there for my mom, and it's it's a
- 25:40Speaker 11: bit much to me. Why is he still whining and
- 25:44Speaker 11: dining my mother?
- 25:46Speaker 1: Man?
- 25:46Speaker 2: Because he wants your mama. Yeah, he always wanted. Yeah,
- 25:53Speaker 2: your daddy go. He was your best friend. That's what
- 25:58Speaker 2: friends are.
- 26:04Speaker 8: Well, he stepped in and helped them get through a
- 26:06Speaker 8: very terribory.
- 26:07Speaker 2: I was there for when he when he was here,
- 26:10Speaker 2: I'm here for you when he gone. Now, you might
- 26:13Speaker 2: little comfortable with this right here. I mean, look, if
- 26:16Speaker 2: it's his best for you and he gone, but he
- 26:19Speaker 2: gone though. Now look, I'm just telling you right now,
- 26:26Speaker 2: I don't think you won't do it, because that can happen.
- 26:31Speaker 8: Yeah, and it looks like it is happening. It's been
- 26:35Speaker 8: four years.
- 26:36Speaker 1: It's been four years whining and dying. He's still there. Yeah,
- 26:42Speaker 1: just leaning, you know, if you lean long enough.
- 26:48Speaker 2: Well, little girl, you was in high school, you're a
- 26:50Speaker 2: college student. Is your mama? Does your mama not want
- 26:54Speaker 2: him around anymore? That's the only question you need to know. Well,
- 26:59Speaker 2: him being around starting to develop it into something else.
- 27:04Speaker 2: He could have easily developed feelings for you mom.
- 27:07Speaker 8: Yeah, after a while, I was like, so she should
- 27:11Speaker 8: what the daughter, Jessica what?
- 27:15Speaker 1: It ain't your business? Okay, it's really said.
- 27:17Speaker 8: It's a bit too much for her.
- 27:20Speaker 1: Okay, Well, you know, quit looking.
- 27:25Speaker 11: All right, less one, Steve. We're moving on to Wanda
- 27:28Speaker 11: and Huntsville. Wanda says, I'm on my second marriage and
- 27:33Speaker 11: my husband is on his third. Our pastor suggested we
- 27:37Speaker 11: do some work on ourselves before we got married. And
- 27:40Speaker 11: now I see what he was talking about. How do
- 27:42Speaker 11: I get this black man back into counseling with the pastor? Interesting,
- 27:48Speaker 11: she's on her second, he's on.
- 27:50Speaker 1: His besides black man. Why was that?
- 27:54Speaker 8: Well, because you know, traditionally black men don't like to
- 27:57Speaker 8: go to counseling. That's why she said that.
- 28:00Speaker 2: Well, you know, white men need counseling more than we
- 28:06Speaker 2: do for divorce because they they don't really even do divorce.
- 28:09Speaker 1: That's who needs to be in counselor. This white man
- 28:14Speaker 1: this moment going down here buying all this duck taping
- 28:18Speaker 1: them twist man, that was not all white men. I'm
- 28:26Speaker 1: just to check your assurance policies. Why are you so crazy?
- 28:33Speaker 1: How do you get this black man back?
- 28:34Speaker 2: And there be telling me it's a musk that if
- 28:37Speaker 2: y'all want to move forward, you're going to have to
- 28:39Speaker 2: take this marriatter.
- 28:40Speaker 11: Counselor, because there are five marriages between the two of them,
- 28:45Speaker 11: and and so that's I guess that's why the pastor
- 28:47Speaker 11: suggested that.
- 28:49Speaker 1: Why would she write me? What's what does she think
- 28:51Speaker 1: I know about this? Personally? I'd have been to counseling
- 29:01Speaker 1: and everything. Still got the damn.
- 29:02Speaker 11: Too well, she just the passag just suggested that they
- 29:08Speaker 11: do some work on themselves because obviously.
- 29:10Speaker 1: They don't want to know.
- 29:11Speaker 2: To be right, there's some things they need to talk through.
- 29:13Speaker 2: Some obviously somebody not doing something right.
- 29:16Speaker 8: Okay, well she sees it, but she's trying to convince
- 29:19Speaker 8: her husband. Now, Yeah, I.
- 29:22Speaker 2: Didn't need counselor because I knew what I did wrong.
- 29:24Speaker 2: I knew exactly what I did because I'm real honest
- 29:27Speaker 2: with myself. Yeah, I know when it's my fault.
- 29:30Speaker 1: What did you do?
- 29:32Speaker 8: What you brought it up?
- 29:33Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 29:34Speaker 2: Well I got the first time I got married too early,
- 29:37Speaker 2: I was too young to be Oh, okay, I didn't
- 29:39Speaker 2: have the coping skills.
- 29:41Speaker 8: Okay, that happened, the in laws and all that.
- 29:43Speaker 1: I didn't know what to do. That happens. Okay, Yeah,
- 29:47Speaker 1: so I knew that.
- 29:49Speaker 8: Okay, So you didn't. You're saying you didn't need counseling.
- 29:52Speaker 8: You did it yourself.
- 29:53Speaker 1: No, No, I knew exactly what I did.
- 29:56Speaker 8: Yeah, Christy, did your ex agree with you? What is
- 30:00Speaker 8: your excellent?
- 30:02Speaker 1: What she thought? I got to see right there? This
- 30:06Speaker 1: ain't about what you did, is about right? All right?
- 30:11Speaker 6: Thank you?
- 30:12Speaker 1: Colo.
- 30:12Speaker 8: Coming up at the top of the hour. We'll have
- 30:14Speaker 8: some entertainment news for you. Right after this. You're listening
- 30:19Speaker 8: Steve Hardy Morning Show.
- 30:22Speaker 7: All right.
- 30:22Speaker 11: So, last week Vice President JD. Vance got booed as
- 30:26Speaker 11: he sat down at the Kennedy Center in DC. This
- 30:29Speaker 11: was at a National seventh Yeah loudly too, at a
- 30:33Speaker 11: National Symphony Orchestra performance. The audience booed Vance for more
- 30:38Speaker 11: than thirty seconds. Okay, that's long. Thirty seconds is long
- 30:43Speaker 11: to be boozed. Yeah, And that's unusual since the Kennedy
- 30:47Speaker 11: Center is known for its decorum. It was evidence that
- 30:50Speaker 11: Trump's influence over the Kennedy Center has already led to
- 30:53Speaker 11: major disruptions in the arts world. The future of the
- 30:57Speaker 11: Kennedy Center's commitment to diversity, artistic read them, and political
- 31:01Speaker 11: neutrality is being debated.
- 31:03Speaker 8: So did you guys see any of this? Anybody see
- 31:06Speaker 8: fans getting booth? Yes, your thoughts, your thoughts.
- 31:10Speaker 4: Let me tell you something. They gave Apollo Theater a
- 31:14Speaker 4: run for it. I'm talking about he was shamed. He
- 31:19Speaker 4: could try to act like that didn't bother him.
- 31:21Speaker 1: All you want that. They were like him, clearing their throato.
- 31:29Speaker 8: For thirty seconds. I think that would booth. That was
- 31:32Speaker 8: strongest wers.
- 31:34Speaker 3: You can't shake off boothing. No act right, Oh you know,
- 31:41Speaker 3: I saw.
- 31:41Speaker 1: It Cheerley all right.
- 31:45Speaker 11: In other news, in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter,
- 31:47Speaker 11: Johnathan Majors opened up about his past sexual abuse from
- 31:51Speaker 11: both men and women when he was a child. Major said, quote,
- 31:56Speaker 11: I dealt with sexual abuse from both men and women
- 31:58Speaker 11: from the time I was nine, from people who are
- 32:01Speaker 11: supposed to look after you in the absence.
- 32:04Speaker 8: Of a father. He said, I was blanked up. I
- 32:06Speaker 8: was fed up. His father left home when Major's was
- 32:09Speaker 8: eight years old.
- 32:10Speaker 11: Majors is thirty five now, and he said he's been
- 32:13Speaker 11: working hard on his past childhood trauma. He said, quote
- 32:17Speaker 11: there are no excuses, but by getting help, you begin
- 32:21Speaker 11: to understand things about yourself. And I mean, honestly, we
- 32:25Speaker 11: are rooting for Jonathan uh and we can't wait to
- 32:28Speaker 11: see him in a new movie.
- 32:29Speaker 8: I mean he's a great actor. All of this, you know,
- 32:32Speaker 8: we all have stuff. Boy, Yeah he is. He is
- 32:35Speaker 8: the truth when it comes to actor.
- 32:37Speaker 1: Yeah, the boy got body too. God.
- 32:39Speaker 8: Oh, for you to say that that means something, because yeah,
- 32:42Speaker 8: he does.
- 32:42Speaker 7: And it takes a lot for me to get my
- 32:44Speaker 7: sexy aside and give it up. Honest Tommy, Yeah, I
- 32:51Speaker 7: don't think I would take my shirt off next to
- 32:54Speaker 7: this boy.
- 32:54Speaker 11: He No, I don't suggest now at all. No, you
- 33:00Speaker 11: know how that thought even entered your head is puzzling
- 33:03Speaker 11: me at this moment.
- 33:04Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah, and I don't need no help.
- 33:12Speaker 11: But like you, he can't act. Yeah, we do, all right. Well,
- 33:16Speaker 11: you know what, that's a testament to therapy. Though you know,
- 33:18Speaker 11: a lot of people don't get into therapy and all
- 33:22Speaker 11: of that, but he's admitting that he did and it's
- 33:25Speaker 11: helped him, so, you know, good for him.
- 33:27Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 33:28Speaker 11: Yeah, Hopefully others who've had pass trauma will do the same,
- 33:32Speaker 11: all right. Moving on to a Shanti, who also opened
- 33:35Speaker 11: up about spinning the block on Nelly as she called it.
- 33:39Speaker 11: In an interview with Revolt, Ashanti revealed her secret to
- 33:43Speaker 11: re kindling love. Check this out, she said, be true
- 33:45Speaker 11: to yourself. You can't force it. What's meant to be
- 33:51Speaker 11: will always be.
- 33:53Speaker 8: It'll just be. You have to trust that. Obviously. It's
- 33:56Speaker 8: a testament to that.
- 33:57Speaker 11: Ashanti and Nelly rekindle their relationship after being a part
- 34:01Speaker 11: for ten years.
- 34:02Speaker 8: Who knew it was that long.
- 34:03Speaker 11: I knew it was long, but I know it's ten
- 34:05Speaker 11: years right. In twenty twenty three they got married and
- 34:09Speaker 11: now they share a son.
- 34:11Speaker 8: I love that. This is a love story. It's just
- 34:14Speaker 8: a sweet love story.
- 34:16Speaker 11: So here's a question, guys, is there a person in
- 34:20Speaker 11: your past would you do like a Shanty did and
- 34:23Speaker 11: spin the block? No?
- 34:24Speaker 3: Not, don't even exist, Junior, Come on, not one.
- 34:29Speaker 10: No, y'a don't know these people I'm.
- 34:32Speaker 11: With you do, But ten years, you know, you change,
- 34:35Speaker 11: you grow, nothing, nothing, Okay.
- 34:40Speaker 3: Your past, you can stand. You still live on your people. Okay,
- 34:43Speaker 3: what you been doing?
- 34:45Speaker 1: She's so forgiving? Yeah yeah, Adamy, no, get get back
- 34:52Speaker 1: shot out before? Have you sure?
- 34:55Speaker 6: Not?
- 34:55Speaker 1: To my knowledge? Junior, No shout it.
- 34:58Speaker 8: I don't run in no circle. No, all right, Tommy,
- 35:03Speaker 8: what what I see you looking?
- 35:05Speaker 6: What this is?
- 35:07Speaker 1: I mean? I'm living that. You know what I'm saying.
- 35:09Speaker 7: So you know, me and jack you met in eighty six, okay,
- 35:12Speaker 7: and then we you know, we dated through college here
- 35:15Speaker 7: and there, and then we split up. I went, I went,
- 35:18Speaker 7: you know, I went on the road and did stage
- 35:20Speaker 7: plays and became a comedian, and then we got back together.
- 35:24Speaker 7: So we didn't get married until we didn't. We didn't
- 35:27Speaker 7: link back up till years, at least ten plus years later.
- 35:31Speaker 7: So this is the same thing exactly. And you share
- 35:35Speaker 7: a son and a daughter. So okay, this is working
- 35:39Speaker 7: out beautifully.
- 35:40Speaker 8: Okay, all right.
- 35:42Speaker 1: Now, well if I don't mess it up, that's going
- 35:44Speaker 1: very nice.
- 35:45Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 35:47Speaker 8: Yeah, we need to talk to Jackie.
- 35:49Speaker 1: God bless her, God bless.
- 35:54Speaker 7: You.
- 35:55Speaker 10: Were dated in college, we broke up, and then you know,
- 35:57Speaker 10: we we got back together when I was twenty eight
- 35:59Speaker 10: years Oh.
- 36:01Speaker 11: Kay, all right, all right, and Carla, who says absolutely
- 36:05Speaker 11: no at all times.

- 38:02Speaker 11: Don't sleep on McDonald's steak, egg and cheese bagel. People,
- 38:06Speaker 11: It is good and if you know, you know that

- 38:42Speaker 8: tell you. We talked about.
- 38:45Speaker 1: They go together.
- 38:48Speaker 11: It's fine, you know, but we do talk about bbls
- 38:53Speaker 11: from time to time on this show. BBL a Brazilian
- 38:56Speaker 11: butt lift. Okay, somebody said it was big Booty Loves.

- 39:26Speaker 11: disappoint even Vivica's ex fifty commentent that he wanted to
- 39:30Speaker 11: see it. So the question is is there an age
- 39:33Speaker 11: limit on vbls. I mean, not for Vivica.
- 39:36Speaker 4: Obviously I saw it because she was at the It
- 39:40Speaker 4: was a beauty supply I think it was on the
- 39:42Speaker 4: North side. Junior and Tommy of Houston sayce we know
- 39:44Speaker 4: Houston so well. But anyway, she did this in store.

- 39:50Speaker 4: she has a hairline and all that.
- 39:52Speaker 1: So it makes you happy. Yeah, she's happy with who

- 40:11Speaker 1: She can do whatever she wants.
- 40:12Speaker 7: Sometimes you got to go big booty shopping. I think
- 40:15Speaker 7: some people over you know, over the I don't know

- 40:27Speaker 1: to the x L.
- 40:29Speaker 8: Like you know what I mean, you're medium.
- 40:32Speaker 7: They got medium booties. Yeah, just everybody want to go

- 40:43Speaker 3: What junior, you don't go with your waist, get with
- 40:47Speaker 3: your waist.
- 40:48Speaker 8: But you know what, men are doing it too. Men
- 40:51Speaker 8: are doing it too. I just want to point that out.
- 40:53Speaker 11: I've seen some, oh, I've seen some coming up in

- 41:36Speaker 11: whole month. Saying that to you, it's the whole month.
- 41:39Speaker 11: And I got to ask you if there have been
- 41:42Speaker 11: any women, any influential women in your life that have
- 41:45Speaker 11: mentored you and because you've become such a pillar of
- 41:49Speaker 11: the soul saving business.
- 41:50Speaker 8: So who were some of those women?
- 41:52Speaker 2: Well, the first one I'd had to give any kind
- 41:54Speaker 2: of credit to was, uh, Harry, you know it, harr Tubby.
- 42:03Speaker 8: Yes, ma'am talked a lot.
- 42:04Speaker 10: You know.
- 42:06Speaker 2: She was the first one. I'm the one gave her
- 42:08Speaker 2: the pistol. She was going back and forth. I said, sweety,
- 42:13Speaker 2: you don't need to be packing. You can't go down
- 42:15Speaker 2: there and just take black for you ought to be
- 42:17Speaker 2: in the white.
- 42:17Speaker 7: Fo.
- 42:17Speaker 2: You had bust a cap in somebody. And I did
- 42:22Speaker 2: that for her because she had done so much for me.
- 42:25Speaker 1: Oh.
- 42:25Speaker 2: She taught me greeting, toughness and you know, fighting back.
- 42:30Speaker 2: I had a husband, I had one of my husbands
- 42:32Speaker 2: was abrusive, abusive, and I were talking to Harry about me, ma'am,
- 42:39Speaker 2: and that same gun that I had given her. She
- 42:42Speaker 2: bought it over to the house and we and we
- 42:44Speaker 2: pistol whipped it. She hit him a little wild and
- 42:49Speaker 2: handed it to me, and then I whipped him a
- 42:51Speaker 2: little bit and handed it back to her about four
- 42:54Speaker 2: or five exchanges.
- 42:56Speaker 1: Then I gave it to Hrn. She went on back to.
- 42:58Speaker 8: Work with it, you know, Okay, And you had no
- 43:02Speaker 8: more trouble out of your husband anymore.
- 43:04Speaker 1: I ain't heard from me, okay. I don't even think
- 43:11Speaker 1: he sees women no more. That's what I heard.
- 43:17Speaker 8: Oh, we can certainly understand that. Any other influential women
- 43:24Speaker 8: in your life.
- 43:25Speaker 1: Oh, you know, I knew Obama's mama. You knew the
- 43:33Speaker 1: white Oh okay, what was her name?
- 43:41Speaker 2: I don't you know.
- 43:42Speaker 1: We'll just call Alice in Wonderland. That's all we just
- 43:46Speaker 1: referred to ass.
- 43:47Speaker 8: You know, why Alice in Wonderland?
- 43:49Speaker 2: Why she was, you know, sort of hippo type girl, cute, nice,
- 43:54Speaker 2: just nice and plass. Then she met that African and
- 43:58Speaker 2: had that baby and we didn't know what it was. Lord, Look,
- 44:01Speaker 2: I will look.
- 44:01Speaker 1: He turned out to be the first man to ever
- 44:03Speaker 1: meet the white out black man.
- 44:07Speaker 8: Look at God.
- 44:08Speaker 1: Yes, ma'am.
- 44:09Speaker 2: She was inferential Tommy. And then probably the last one
- 44:14Speaker 2: I would probably say was.
- 44:18Speaker 1: Joscelyn Turner.
- 44:21Speaker 8: Jocelyn Turner. I'm not familiar with missus Jocelyn Turner.
- 44:25Speaker 1: Who is that?
- 44:26Speaker 2: Yeah, it was the first one that used a pressing cone,
- 44:32Speaker 2: the repressing comb, straight hair straight. Now, I know that
- 44:38Speaker 2: what you thought, But it was Jocelyn Turner though.
- 44:41Speaker 8: Yeah, Madam C. J. Walker is off with that.
- 44:45Speaker 1: Yeah, what I understand that, But I just told you
- 44:47Speaker 1: who had it first.
- 44:51Speaker 8: Well, how does she? Where'd you find it?
- 44:53Speaker 6: What?
- 44:54Speaker 8: Explain? Please, because I nim know.
- 44:57Speaker 2: We got a barbecue, yeah, and uh, there was a
- 45:01Speaker 2: pitchfork leaning up against the bond. We was out back
- 45:04Speaker 2: roasting a pig and uh. We set up here and
- 45:07Speaker 2: we uh was turning the pig with the pitchfork and
- 45:13Speaker 2: it was just getting hot and hotter on the flame.
- 45:16Speaker 6: Uh.
- 45:16Speaker 2: And then we leaned that pitchfork up against the bard,
- 45:19Speaker 2: upside down, handled to the ground, and it slid off
- 45:23Speaker 2: and ran across rayfoot Rayford Johnson's hald Uh huh, he
- 45:30Speaker 2: had afro and it straightened it just like that, And
- 45:34Speaker 2: that was how we first found out bars straight and
- 45:36Speaker 2: the corn. Get that that hot falk just across the
- 45:40Speaker 2: head and it was slick, looked like Duke Ellington.
- 45:47Speaker 8: Coming up next to stir Deel, his nephew Tommy and
- 45:50Speaker 8: his prank phone call.
- 45:52Speaker 1: Next time you have a crisis, you gonna want some
- 45:54Speaker 1: lucky charms.
- 45:57Speaker 11: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Ship coming up
- 46:00Speaker 11: at about four minutes after the hour. It's my strawberry
- 46:03Speaker 11: letter for today and the subject is he and his
- 46:05Speaker 11: brother's baby mama. He and his brother's baby mama. Okay,
- 46:09Speaker 11: we'll get into that, find out what that's all about

- 56:20Speaker 11: Subjects he and his brother's baby mama. Dear Stephen Shirley.
- 56:24Speaker 11: I was married for eleven years and we had two daughters.
- 56:28Speaker 11: The last three years of our marriage, he messed with
- 56:30Speaker 11: his brother's baby mother and she got pregnant. His brother
- 56:35Speaker 11: has two sons by this woman, and my husband is
- 56:37Speaker 11: the godfather of both of his brother's sons. His brother
- 56:41Speaker 11: left left her after he caught her in bed with
- 56:44Speaker 11: another man at their house. She started popping up at
- 56:48Speaker 11: our house to talk to my husband, and I always
- 56:51Speaker 11: assumed it was to talk about his brother's dumping her.
- 56:55Speaker 11: I invited her over for Thanksgiving and she pulled my
- 56:58Speaker 11: husband aside to talk to him, and I.
- 57:00Speaker 8: Let them talk.
- 57:01Speaker 11: She got very upset and was crying. Then she got
- 57:05Speaker 11: I rate and started pointing her finger forcibly forcefully into
- 57:09Speaker 11: my husband's head. He pulled her close to comfort her,
- 57:13Speaker 11: and I still did not get involved. This sort of
- 57:16Speaker 11: thing happened four more times, and she was always very upset.
- 57:20Speaker 11: When she came to my house, I figured she must
- 57:22Speaker 11: still be suffering from the breakup, so I stayed out
- 57:25Speaker 11: of it. Then, earlier this year, my husband got a
- 57:28Speaker 11: letter from our local child support office and I opened
- 57:33Speaker 11: the letter and it said he is the father of
- 57:35Speaker 11: a baby girl, and it listed his brother's baby mama
- 57:38Speaker 11: as the mother.
- 57:39Speaker 1: I started snooping.
- 57:41Speaker 11: Yeah, I started snooping through his drawers and I found
- 57:45Speaker 11: DNA test results hidden in a cigar box in his
- 57:49Speaker 11: junk drawer. This woman mysteriously had a baby, and I
- 57:52Speaker 11: had no idea she was pregnant. I sent a picture
- 57:55Speaker 11: of the DNA results to my husband's brother and he
- 57:59Speaker 11: responded that he's known about them for three years because
- 58:02Speaker 11: he caught them in the act.
- 58:04Speaker 8: I felt so lost and stupid.
- 58:08Speaker 11: Their daughter is two years old, and this woman wants
- 58:11Speaker 11: my kids to meet their sister, and she wants to
- 58:14Speaker 11: clear the air with me. Should I forgive her and
- 58:17Speaker 11: move on or keep ignoring her forever?
- 58:20Speaker 1: All right?
- 58:22Speaker 8: Forgive them, for sure.
- 58:23Speaker 11: Forgive her, not for them, not for her, but because
- 58:26Speaker 11: forgiveness is for you to be free to move on
- 58:29Speaker 11: with your life. But anything else, all bets are off.
- 58:33Speaker 11: Keep ignoring her forever, all right, and don't you ever
- 58:38Speaker 11: be that trusting to anyone again. You saw what was
- 58:42Speaker 11: going on, you didn't think for a second.
- 58:44Speaker 12: That you know.
- 58:46Speaker 11: I mean, I get that she was distraught over her brother,
- 58:48Speaker 11: but her pointing her finger at its forehead and your
- 58:51Speaker 11: husband pulling her close to him, all that's in your letter.
- 58:54Speaker 11: I can't believe you didn't suspect something was going on
- 58:58Speaker 11: between them with all the son if they were doing
- 59:01Speaker 11: I mean maybe because it was done in your faith
- 59:04Speaker 11: and not behind your back. You didn't think that they
- 59:07Speaker 11: would be doing what they were doing. I just don't
- 59:09Speaker 11: know too many women, including myself, who would have allowed
- 59:12Speaker 11: them to carry on like they were carrying on in
- 59:15Speaker 11: front of you. So I'm gonna need you to get mad,
- 59:18Speaker 11: you know, do something, not just ask keep ignoring her forever.
- 59:25Speaker 6: You know.
- 59:26Speaker 8: It's okay to forgive, but you shouldn't forget or clear.
- 59:29Speaker 11: The air with her like she wants to do if
- 59:32Speaker 11: you choose not to, Okay, do what's best for you
- 59:36Speaker 11: and your children, your family. Okay, keep her out of it.
- 59:40Speaker 11: She's trash at this point, as far as I'm concerned.
- 59:43Speaker 11: What she did to you and her husband, Steve.
- 59:46Speaker 2: The most confusing damn letter of the year. I don't know, surely,
- 59:57Speaker 2: I can't make no sense of this. I trying to
- 1:00:00Speaker 2: find the turning points. But the whole letter is a
- 1:00:03Speaker 2: turning point. The lady was married for eleven years with
- 1:00:07Speaker 2: a husband. They got two daughters, but then the last
- 1:00:11Speaker 2: three years of the marriage he messed with his brother's
- 1:00:14Speaker 2: babies and mama and she got pregnant.
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: His brother has two sons.
- 1:00:22Speaker 2: By this woman, and my husband is the godfather of
- 1:00:27Speaker 2: both of his brother's sons. Wait a minute, Wait a minute.
- 1:00:33Speaker 2: If this is your brother and he got two children,
- 1:00:39Speaker 2: what is you the godfather?
- 1:00:40Speaker 6: For you?
- 1:00:40Speaker 3: The uncle?
- 1:00:42Speaker 6: You?
- 1:00:43Speaker 3: They uncle?
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: See this family love giving titles.
- 1:00:50Speaker 2: Now, his brother left her, He left the baby mama
- 1:00:54Speaker 2: after he caught her in bed with another man at
- 1:00:57Speaker 2: they house. Who is these men that go over here,
- 1:01:00Speaker 2: these other men's houses. Man, I just don't understand that.
- 1:01:03Speaker 2: I don't know why more of these ain't winding up
- 1:01:05Speaker 2: in depths. She started popping up at our house and
- 1:01:08Speaker 2: talk to my husband and I always soon it was
- 1:01:13Speaker 2: to talk about his brother dumping her. But now let
- 1:01:18Speaker 2: me say this, though, could it be the way this
- 1:01:22Speaker 2: letter's written? When she said her brother left her after
- 1:01:26Speaker 2: he caught her in bed with another man at they house.
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: Could the other man have been his brother?
- 1:01:33Speaker 11: Well, no, I think that was an additional man, Steve,
- 1:01:35Speaker 11: because lower in the letter he said he's known about.
- 1:01:40Speaker 2: Well, we'll find out. I invited over for Thanksgiving. It
- 1:01:44Speaker 2: she pulled my husband to decide to talk to him,
- 1:01:46Speaker 2: and I let him talk. She got upset and was crying,
- 1:01:49Speaker 2: and she got our rate and started pointing her finger
- 1:01:51Speaker 2: forcefully into my husband's head.
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: You know how they be tapping on your head? Like
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: what you ain't nobody finna do that to me?
- 1:02:00Speaker 11: Oh you're not gonna know in front of mine? Okay,
- 1:02:04Speaker 11: I don't know any woman alive, none quarterly.
- 1:02:07Speaker 2: What is she tapping your way? So that's kind of crazy.
- 1:02:12Speaker 2: And I still didn't get involved. This sort of thing
- 1:02:15Speaker 2: happened fomo times, and she was always upset when she
- 1:02:19Speaker 2: came to my house. I figured she must still be
- 1:02:21Speaker 2: suffering from the breakup, so I stayed out of about
- 1:02:23Speaker 2: how stupid are you?
- 1:02:25Speaker 8: Well, she said that she felt stupid.
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: All right, we're talking about all right?
- 1:02:33Speaker 11: Part two of Steve's response coming up at twenty three
- 1:02:36Speaker 11: minutes after the hour Today's strawberry letters.
- 1:02:39Speaker 8: Subject he and his brother's baby Mama. We'll get back
- 1:02:42Speaker 8: into it right after this.

- 1:03:19Speaker 11: The subject he and his brother's baby mama.
- 1:03:23Speaker 2: H this reggular hairs letter so confused times.
- 1:03:27Speaker 8: Not the letter he had hated.
- 1:03:28Speaker 2: It's the letter Shirley's to the Moon. You know, these
- 1:03:31Speaker 2: damn people mess right here. This lady married to her husband,
- 1:03:35Speaker 2: they got two kids, and then uh late three years.
- 1:03:40Speaker 2: The last three years of the marriage, he messed with
- 1:03:42Speaker 2: his brother's babies. Mama, and she got pregnant. His brother
- 1:03:47Speaker 2: got two sons by this woman, and my husband is
- 1:03:49Speaker 2: the godfather to both his brother's son. You ain't uncle.
- 1:03:54Speaker 2: You ain't damn uncle. You legally everything. You ain't uncle.
- 1:03:57Speaker 2: You don't need no extra titles. His brother left her
- 1:04:01Speaker 2: because he caught her in bed with another man at
- 1:04:03Speaker 2: their house, and then she started popping up at our
- 1:04:06Speaker 2: house to talk to my husband.
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: I always assumed it was to talk about his brother
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: dumping her.
- 1:04:11Speaker 2: I'm telling you, Shirley, I think that the man she
- 1:04:16Speaker 2: he caught in bed with her is his brother, because
- 1:04:22Speaker 2: right after that she kept coming to the house.
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: Yeah, mad every time she come to the house.
- 1:04:28Speaker 2: Right after that, then they say I invited over to
- 1:04:32Speaker 2: Thanksgiving twenty twenty. She pulled my husband aside to talk
- 1:04:34Speaker 2: to her. I let him talk. She got upset and
- 1:04:37Speaker 2: was crying. Then she got out right and she started
- 1:04:39Speaker 2: pointing her finger forcefully in my husband's head. Now, damn
- 1:04:43Speaker 2: because his brother found you in bed with another man,
- 1:04:46Speaker 2: or because he found you in bed and the other
- 1:04:49Speaker 2: man was his damn brother. And I got started up
- 1:04:53Speaker 2: to starting to put it together for myself here. Now, Shirley,
- 1:04:56Speaker 2: I didn't get involved this sort of thing happened four
- 1:04:58Speaker 2: moo times, and she was all ways upset when she
- 1:05:00Speaker 2: came to the house. I figured she must be still
- 1:05:03Speaker 2: suffering from the breakup, so I stayed out. And she
- 1:05:05Speaker 2: was something from the breakup because your husband was the
- 1:05:08Speaker 2: cause of the breakup, because he got caught in his
- 1:05:09Speaker 2: brother's house in that bed. That's what I believe this
- 1:05:12Speaker 2: letter is really all about.
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: Then, earlier this year, my husband got a letter from
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: our local child support office.
- 1:05:19Speaker 2: Outen the letter and it said he was the father
- 1:05:21Speaker 2: of a baby girl, and it was listed his brother's
- 1:05:24Speaker 2: baby's mama as the mother. I started snooping through his
- 1:05:29Speaker 2: draws and I found DNA test result hitting in.
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: A cigar box. That's what really, Why is she putting
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: this in a cigar box? What did you put this
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: in a cigar box? Trore see? Now people like me?
- 1:05:41Speaker 2: Ass got tight? Now my ass tight because it's in
- 1:05:44Speaker 2: a cigar box. Immediately I go to myself and how
- 1:05:48Speaker 2: many cigar boxes I got. I can't think of what
- 1:05:50Speaker 2: important I don't put it in the damn cigar box.
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: About you?
- 1:05:55Speaker 2: Anyway, this woman missterely had a baby, and I had
- 1:05:58Speaker 2: no idea she was pregnant oh. I sent a picture
- 1:06:04Speaker 2: of DNA results to my husband's brother and he responded
- 1:06:09Speaker 2: that he's known about them for three years because he
- 1:06:12Speaker 2: caught them in the act. It was his brother that
- 1:06:16Speaker 2: he walked in and saw in the bed with his
- 1:06:19Speaker 2: woman three years ago. She stayed away and had this baby,
- 1:06:24Speaker 2: but every time she came over she was mad at him.
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: I felt so lost and stupid. They daughter two years old.
- 1:06:33Speaker 2: This woman wants my kids to meet their sister, and
- 1:06:36Speaker 2: she wants to clear the ad with me. Should I
- 1:06:38Speaker 2: forgive her and move on and keep it knowing her forever? Well,
- 1:06:41Speaker 2: you can and forgive her, but this is the most
- 1:06:43Speaker 2: confusing mess. I really ain't got nothing for her, no
- 1:06:46Speaker 2: more helpful. And my biggest thing right here is I
- 1:06:51Speaker 2: don't know what is we finish call these kids? Because
- 1:06:53Speaker 2: see now, even if they meet, what is we finish
- 1:06:57Speaker 2: call these kids?
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: Right here? Mama's d he's our cousins. Mama? Is these
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: our brothers and sisters? No, they're not us? Is they
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: our aunts?
- 1:07:10Speaker 11: No?
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: No, baby, they're not your aunts. These our cousins in laws?
- 1:07:15Speaker 6: No?
- 1:07:15Speaker 7: They not?
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: What is they? Mama? Is these are nothing loss? This
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: This is our nothing lost? Mama?
- 1:07:22Speaker 2: What is we gonna call these damn kids? Your husband
- 1:07:27Speaker 2: slept with his brothers baby mama. The brother caught them.
- 1:07:35Speaker 2: You found the DNA report sent it to his brother
- 1:07:39Speaker 2: to say, hey, on this DNA report, this listed my
- 1:07:43Speaker 2: husband who is your brother, as the daddy of your
- 1:07:46Speaker 2: baby mama's baby.
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: He can't surprised because he know albout it. So what
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: kind of help she wants you?
- 1:07:54Speaker 11: She she I really thought it was two different men.
- 1:07:58Speaker 11: But she says she felt so lost and stupid that yeah,
- 1:08:01Speaker 11: she should feel that way. I think ignoring what's going
- 1:08:05Speaker 11: on in front of her eyes.
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: Why we here? Who do you trust in this story?
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: You trust brother in law?
- 1:08:14Speaker 2: Yeah, he held to the cold with his brother, and
- 1:08:18Speaker 2: she nobody told you nothing right?
- 1:08:21Speaker 11: And then she's she's considering forgiving this woman and moving
- 1:08:25Speaker 11: and moving on, or to keep ignoring her forever.
- 1:08:30Speaker 8: That's her issue, none of this.
- 1:08:32Speaker 2: So sure what you said made sense. You could forgive,
- 1:08:35Speaker 2: because forgiveness is for you, not the other person. But
- 1:08:38Speaker 2: to forgive don't mean to forget. Right, You don't have
- 1:08:42Speaker 2: to set yourself back up in the line of fire
- 1:08:46Speaker 2: just because you forgave somebody.
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: Yes, Tommy, I see.
- 1:08:49Speaker 7: Can't you forgive as you walking out the door with
- 1:08:51Speaker 7: all your stuff? Can't you forgive?
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: And car drive?
- 1:08:58Speaker 8: She can keep ignoring her for ever.
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: What I'm not finna do is sit here and deal
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: with this mess.
- 1:09:04Speaker 2: Now. The kids are gonna have to know each other eventually,
- 1:09:07Speaker 2: because that's the baby.
- 1:09:09Speaker 8: All right, we gotta go, Please.
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: Go somewhere less busy. All right.

- 1:13:55Speaker 11: else right there?
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: Uh huh.
- 1:13:57Speaker 11: I'm so upset that I can't go. My sister Will

- 1:14:02Speaker 11: baby up and bring her to Mexico with me. What
- 1:14:05Speaker 11: should I do here?
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: You know what I think?
- 1:14:09Speaker 2: Well, I think the husband and the mamma in laud

- 1:15:28Speaker 1: I know, you said, I know you go ahead, all right.
- 1:15:33Speaker 11: This is from loss in Jacksonville. Law says, my wife
- 1:15:37Speaker 11: has a problem with my female friend, and I don't
- 1:15:39Speaker 11: get it. I met my wife through this lady, and
- 1:15:41Speaker 11: now my wife said that there's no room for her
- 1:15:44Speaker 11: in our lives since she's divorced. So it was okay
- 1:15:48Speaker 11: to talk to my friend from childhood as long as
- 1:15:50Speaker 11: she was married. I'm not feeling these rules at all.
- 1:15:53Speaker 11: Is my wife really that insecure?
- 1:15:57Speaker 2: Well, your wife has a point. Marriage is a two
- 1:16:01Speaker 2: handed circle. She said, there's no room for her. And
- 1:16:06Speaker 2: because you can't have other people's opinions, and thoughts in
- 1:16:10Speaker 2: your marriage. And Bro, I done told y'all. I done
- 1:16:13Speaker 2: told y'all about these friends. I've told y'all. Now let
- 1:16:18Speaker 2: me ask you a question. BRO. If your friend said
- 1:16:22Speaker 2: to you, hey, look, i've been checking you out. Not really,
- 1:16:26Speaker 2: I don't care what I know you. I know you're married,
- 1:16:29Speaker 2: but just come over and holler at me, tighten me
- 1:16:31Speaker 2: up every now and then. I suppose she said that.
- 1:16:37Speaker 2: My question to him is would you go over there?
- 1:16:41Speaker 2: The response I think is yes, yes, I think you.
- 1:16:54Speaker 2: Obviously the wife is uncomfortable with their closes and sees
- 1:16:58Speaker 2: that as a problem.
- 1:17:00Speaker 11: But she she he met the wife through this friend.
- 1:17:04Speaker 11: That's the crazy part, right, Ain't that crazy? And now
- 1:17:09Speaker 11: his wife doesn't want to have anything to do with
- 1:17:11Speaker 11: a friend.
- 1:17:12Speaker 1: Okay, one of my wife's tighten up here, though, you're
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: gonna quit that. You know what? Tighten up?
- 1:17:20Speaker 8: A woman wouldn't say that, you know, I just yeah, okay.
- 1:17:25Speaker 8: A woman would not say that.
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: Hold on, that's not true.
- 1:17:30Speaker 8: It's not hey, let me tighten you up?
- 1:17:33Speaker 9: Yes, pay sure. Amazing what y'all can say. Yes, a
- 1:17:41Speaker 9: man would say. A man would say that to a
- 1:17:45Speaker 9: woman back in the day.
- 1:17:46Speaker 8: I've been requested to you know, to what, to what?
- 1:17:51Speaker 8: Because you almost said it, to what.
- 1:17:54Speaker 10: What?
- 1:17:54Speaker 1: Actually?
- 1:17:55Speaker 11: I need to be tightened up now you say it,
- 1:17:59Speaker 11: but women don't. All right, coming up next walk in
- 1:18:06Speaker 11: the door with my rich we'll have more the Steve
- 1:18:10Speaker 11: Harvey Morning Show, signorant show.
- 1:18:13Speaker 8: Right after this. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:18:19Speaker 8: All right, guys, this story is crazy right here.
- 1:18:22Speaker 11: The owner of a London comedy club has announced a
- 1:18:25Speaker 11: ban on audience members who have had botox. If you've
- 1:18:29Speaker 11: had any botox injections they have, they have a problem
- 1:18:34Speaker 11: with you. Mark Rothman, owner of Top Secret Comedy Club,
- 1:18:38Speaker 11: says many of the comedians have now complained to him
- 1:18:41Speaker 11: that too many faces in the audience are unresponsive and
- 1:18:45Speaker 11: it's hard for them to gauge their reactions to their jokes.
- 1:18:49Speaker 11: So to ensure lively facial expressions, Rothman will require all
- 1:18:54Speaker 11: patrons to undergo an expression check at the door. If
- 1:18:58Speaker 11: they're unable to smile, they can, If they're able to smile,
- 1:19:02Speaker 11: they can stay. If their face is too tight to
- 1:19:04Speaker 11: crack a smile or frown, they'll be asked to leave.
- 1:19:07Speaker 7: You need to.
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: I would like to say this to the club owner.
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: You need to hire some more comedians. Why do you
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: say that? Because laughter is a noise, it ain't a
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: facial expression.
- 1:19:19Speaker 8: Okay, spoken, non funny.
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: Ass comedians you got in there, I can't cut they's
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: looking at.
- 1:19:27Speaker 11: Them because you know, if they have botox in their forehead,
- 1:19:32Speaker 11: their foreheads don't move.
- 1:19:34Speaker 2: You know, I don't care what you got long as
- 1:19:36Speaker 2: you holly laughing. I don't care if if your face don't.
- 1:19:39Speaker 3: Move, laugh without the face moving, or how that look on.
- 1:19:48Speaker 11: Who your face didn't move at all? All right, guys

- 1:22:11Speaker 2: with that washcloth, just don't need to go to the laundry.
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: Throw that out. If you want to ever use this

- 1:25:05Speaker 8: We've had a fun day today, here we have. Yeah,
- 1:25:08Speaker 8: it's been fun.
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: Hey, you know what I want to talk about something.
- 1:25:13Speaker 2: Okay, Look, I'm not a representative of black people, and
- 1:25:20Speaker 2: I understand that I've not been elected to be a spokesperson.
- 1:25:25Speaker 2: But I've been black for a long time, and I'm
- 1:25:29Speaker 2: keenly aware of my blackness. It has never escaped me,
- 1:25:33Speaker 2: not for a single moment. And it's not that I
- 1:25:37Speaker 2: haven't wanted it to, or not that I desire to.
- 1:25:42Speaker 2: It's just that I've never been allowed. I've never been
- 1:25:46Speaker 2: allowed in the United States of America to forget that
- 1:25:48Speaker 2: I'm black. I don't have that luxury.
- 1:25:52Speaker 7: You know.
- 1:25:52Speaker 2: The only time I don't feel this way is when
- 1:25:55Speaker 2: I'm in the Middle East or when I'm in Africa.
- 1:25:59Speaker 2: Then and only the do I get to wake up
- 1:26:01Speaker 2: in the morning and feel what it feels like not
- 1:26:04Speaker 2: to be a minority, an amazing feeling.
- 1:26:08Speaker 1: I wish you all could understand what that feels like.
- 1:26:12Speaker 2: But see, the thing that I wish could happen is
- 1:26:14Speaker 2: that will never happen, is is that people who are
- 1:26:18Speaker 2: not minorities could understand what it would be like. But
- 1:26:20Speaker 2: that's an impossibility. It's just not possible. It's impossible for
- 1:26:26Speaker 2: you to know what that feels like. Now, I will
- 1:26:29Speaker 2: admit there are sympathizers, and there are people out there
- 1:26:33Speaker 2: who are willing to help and try to understand, and
- 1:26:37Speaker 2: those people are applaud and recognized that they do exist.
- 1:26:40Speaker 1: Slavery did not.
- 1:26:42Speaker 2: End because black people wanted it to end, because every
- 1:26:45Speaker 2: black person didn't want slavery. No man will want slavery
- 1:26:49Speaker 2: for himself, so you had to have some good willed
- 1:26:52Speaker 2: non slaves white people who helped assist in that. So
- 1:26:57Speaker 2: there's always been a good side to this day. But
- 1:27:00Speaker 2: what's happening in our government today it needs everybody's attention
- 1:27:06Speaker 2: because this government is not designed. They have tricked you
- 1:27:11Speaker 2: on a level that you didn't see coming. And now
- 1:27:14Speaker 2: you got all these letters coming from these Trump supporters
- 1:27:18Speaker 2: who are upset because they voted for Trump and they
- 1:27:22Speaker 2: lost their job. I just want to remind you, did
- 1:27:27Speaker 2: you really think when he was campaigning that he was
- 1:27:31Speaker 2: talking about you. Did you really think that these tax
- 1:27:37Speaker 2: cuts he was talking about what's going to be for you?
- 1:27:43Speaker 2: Did you really think these jobs he promised to add,
- 1:27:48Speaker 2: did you think he was going to add him for you?
- 1:27:52Speaker 1: Because he never mentioned that he was going to take jobs.
- 1:27:56Speaker 2: He never told you all when he was campaigning that
- 1:27:59Speaker 2: he was going to live up to Project twenty twenty five.
- 1:28:03Speaker 2: He never told you that he was gonna bring Elon
- 1:28:06Speaker 2: Musk along. He never told you that. But that was
- 1:28:11Speaker 2: the plan all along. And so now you got to
- 1:28:17Speaker 2: buckle up. Here is the understanding that black people have.
- 1:28:24Speaker 2: And once again, I'm not your spokesperson. I don't claim
- 1:28:27Speaker 2: to be, but I have been black for sixty eight years,
- 1:28:33Speaker 2: and we already know what it's like not to have programs.
- 1:28:37Speaker 2: We already know what it's like to have programs taken,
- 1:28:41Speaker 2: you know, for you all to come in and rebuff
- 1:28:44Speaker 2: teaching black studies in school. Y'all wasn't trying to teach
- 1:28:47Speaker 2: him in the first place. They don't even teach black
- 1:28:49Speaker 2: studies in white schools. They don't have black history in
- 1:28:52Speaker 2: white schools. You thought that taking the DEI was gonna
- 1:28:56Speaker 2: hurt us, and everybody voted for that. Well, y'all still
- 1:28:59Speaker 2: be because DEI really affected majority of white women. Black
- 1:29:03Speaker 2: people are number five or number six on the list
- 1:29:06Speaker 2: of being the benefactor of DEI. So they food y'all
- 1:29:10Speaker 2: with that too. They tricked you from the outset. They
- 1:29:16Speaker 2: told you they was gonna bring down the price of eggs.
- 1:29:18Speaker 2: Eggs is ten dollars a dozen, and just kept telling
- 1:29:22Speaker 2: you stuff. But what they didn't tell you that he
- 1:29:26Speaker 2: was going to pay back all those billionaire donors, the Bezos,
- 1:29:31Speaker 2: the Targets, the Walmarts, the Elon Musk, all of them
- 1:29:38Speaker 2: had to get paid back for making their contributions. So
- 1:29:42Speaker 2: the things that's happening right now is benefiting the rich
- 1:29:46Speaker 2: and wealthy. And if you think for one minute that
- 1:29:49Speaker 2: you are going to be a benefactor of that, you
- 1:29:51Speaker 2: are sadly mistaken. Here comes all of the letters from
- 1:29:55Speaker 2: all of the Trump supporters, and it ain't working. It's
- 1:30:00Speaker 2: not working, And so now you thought this was going
- 1:30:04Speaker 2: to be for you, it's not. Trump is for the wealthy.
- 1:30:09Speaker 2: Once again, it's okay for us us who have been denied.
- 1:30:15Speaker 2: Y'all can rebuff the Civil Rights Voting Act because you
- 1:30:18Speaker 2: never wanted us to have it anyway, and you never
- 1:30:20Speaker 2: acted like we had it. You can rebuff affirmative Action
- 1:30:25Speaker 2: and make it official because you all have unofficially.
- 1:30:27Speaker 1: Been doing it all along. Anyway.
- 1:30:30Speaker 2: You can pardon all the people that climbed over the
- 1:30:33Speaker 2: wall and rided on January.
- 1:30:35Speaker 1: Sixth because he considered a support for him. This ain't
- 1:30:40Speaker 1: about you.
- 1:30:41Speaker 2: He said he loved the police, but he released all
- 1:30:43Speaker 2: the people that hurt the policeman. Are y'all kidding me?
- 1:30:48Speaker 2: He told you he loved veterans, just the same dude
- 1:30:50Speaker 2: that refused to serve. And now veterans are losing jobs
- 1:30:55Speaker 2: and benefits at an alarming rate, talking about we got
- 1:30:59Speaker 2: a share, gave the fat off the government.
- 1:31:02Speaker 1: What he didn't tell you was the fat mint you.
- 1:31:06Speaker 1: Why don't you You have you seen a congressman or
- 1:31:09Speaker 1: a senator that have lost their jobs.
- 1:31:11Speaker 2: They make a lot of money, they fat. They ain't
- 1:31:14Speaker 2: cutting none of that fat. Now the fat they cutting
- 1:31:17Speaker 2: these You welcome to the Trump era. Congratulations, that's who
- 1:31:22Speaker 2: you voted for and that's who we got, and we're
- 1:31:26Speaker 2: gonna be just fined because it's pretty much more of
- 1:31:29Speaker 2: the same for us. Those are my close the remarks. Listen,
- 1:31:34Speaker 2: have yourself a great day today. Talk to God.
