- Todd: Welcome everyone to the wildly opinionated news hour Todd's world. I'm Todd carries with me. Welcome, Gary Gary just came in out of the rain gardening a little bit in her insurrection hat ⁓ Yo, It's Carrie: Welcome. Thank you. Good. That's right. My limited edition. I'm adding my sweat to make it more valuable. Todd: raining down in Florida today. Nice though, probably warm at least. Yo, It's Carrie: we need the rain so, so bad. Everything is like, everyone who's planted stuff is having to water because there's no rain. So we needed it. Todd: Everyone who planted stuff in Michigan just had a big old freeze warning. It's a early for the planting in Michigan. Yo, It's Carrie: I know they just lost, they had to go wrap it up. Poor things, it's awful. ring is really battling up there. I'm pulling, pulling for you guys. Yep. Todd: We do the best we can. Listen guys, thanks for joining us today. ⁓ talking about the show last week, which I thought was fabulous and ⁓ beers with Jesus last week. Listen guys, we have two shows. I'm going to promo them on the front end. Todd's world.net is where you're going to find the books. I don't, I'm also an author. You've got leaves the blue way out there. That's my memoir. The series are really good. Insurrection and witness. Like you really ought to give those a shot. You know I'm going to do, Carrie? I'm going to put. Yo, It's Carrie: Yeah, it was fun. It's so good. It's all good. Todd: the first full chapters Yo, It's Carrie: If it is, just chop it off in the middle. Todd: There was a comment on that Billy Bob, you know why that Billy Bob thing resonated with me? There was a comment on there from a guy, not like a big guy, the X name is Brian's Beacon, anyway. He said the worst thing is the algorithm incentivizes more more extreme behavior to capture people's attention and creators get monetized for that. Okay. ⁓ Yo, It's Carrie: Mmm. Okay. Yeah. Todd: So that's what we're going to get more of in our society. You can't incentivize the middle because it's not as flashy, but we all know the middle ground is where wisdom lies, not the extremes. Okay? And I made a comment to that. I'm going to credit this to Todd's World. Todd's World said, the worst thing maybe coming to terms with, what if all the tech and social media and platforms ⁓ so use your credits from audible to grab either the first book of insurrection, which is ⁓ What's the name of the book? ⁓ Operation last stand And then ⁓ the second book is circle of wolves, ⁓ witnesses of anishe. So yeah the first book. So anyway guys ⁓ Yo, It's Carrie: I agree with that. ⁓ yeah, Mm-hmm. All right. What did Todd's World say to Beacon Brian? So good. Todd: are really only terribly clear mirrors and this is who we really are when the masks start to slip. That's what I think is going on. don't think any of this is, I think this is who we are. On that, I'm going to tell everybody, make sure to listen, listen to Beers with Jesus Terrell. We do two podcasts. We do Wildly Opinionary News Hour, which you'll listen to right now. Book, follow us, subscribe, do whatever you got to do. Rate us if you can. Anything will help us. us, you'll find clips on social media, send them to people and just help us grow the audience. We appreciate everybody listening. Yo, It's Carrie: Wow. The Orioles better come show up and start cheering you up, Todd. Mm-hmm. Yes. ⁓ Share with friends. Todd: We do it for you guys. ⁓ in addition to that, Listen to Beers with Jesus, we're in Genesis right now, and tomorrow, so the next ⁓ episode, which will be released Wednesday, is going to be on the fall. And so that's what we're talking about. We're talking about the fall of humanity. Yo, It's Carrie: Ha ha. fall of man. Adam and Eve. It's when they effed it all up. Todd: Adam and Eve, so, yeah, I think we're deeply flawed. Yo, It's Carrie: Well, what I did want to say while we were promoting stuff was to encourage people to go that were available to watch on YouTube. Yeah. It's easy. Easy place. Todd: Speaking of which, want to talk about abortion? Abortion's always fun. Yo, It's Carrie: Yes? Sure? Todd: We are, and I'm working on thumb. I just found out that thumbnails matter. So I'm doing custom thumbnails now, which yeah, well, no, it's not that so much as they tell me. you, if you looked like Carrie's fruity Pebbles line from last week, Grok loved. And so we use that for the, I'm letting Grok do the titles now guys. It can't, it can't create worth the shit. Like it can't create, it couldn't do a podcast. It couldn't do a book. Nothing's as fun as abortion. This is, I don't know if you heard this this week, a lot of people have heard this clip, but I want to make sure that it gets out there. I don't think you probably have. This is Brandon, Representative Brandon Gill. And he has Clark Kent hair. Wait till you hear his voice, his delivery. This is, have, I told Nikki that I thought it was the Yo, It's Carrie: Some of the Democrats think that. OK. ⁓ so we supposed to I have not heard any abortion talk this week. He has like Clark Kent hair. There you go. Okay. Mm-hmm. Todd: But it's pretty good at describing them. Pretty good at titling them. single most effective two minutes Would you call it a monologue you'd almost call it like a monologue? It's not really a speech He goes after abortion in the in it's the most effective thing I've ever seen So but it's disturbing guys so gird your loins Here comes he's talking to there's an abortion advocate. They're talking about the face act which has to do with Yo, It's Carrie: at summarizing and stuff. It's better at summarizing than most students are. Todd: Well, what I figure is that what is what I'm working with out there, what you're working with on Spotify and Apple on, on accent, all these things is you're working with AIs all across the board. All these algorithms, these algorithms are all AIs. So I would assume they would know each other better than I do. I wouldn't pick out the same things, but I'm not AI. You know what I mean? So. Yo, It's Carrie: Mm-hmm. Yeah. I can't wait. I can't wait. Mm-hmm. Yeah. Yeah. No, I think that's, I think that's a good point. Probably really smart. So cool. News, news this week. Todd: I don't know if you remember, but the Biden DOJ sent some grandmas, some pro-life grandmas to jail because they were praying in ⁓ front of abortion mills. What do you call them? Clinics. Like puppy mills. So anyway, that's what they're talking about. But there's an abortion advocate. I don't remember the chick's name. So anyway, on news, you see somebody tried to kill Trump again right after we recorded news last Saturday. Yo, It's Carrie: Right after. I know. Anyone listening was like, wow, they didn't even mention the assassination attempt. Mm-hmm. Clinics. Women's healthcare facilities. That's what... Todd: Yeah, that was the White House Correspondents' Dinner. That happened Saturday night, which we record usually Saturday mornings for news anyway. We usually record beers with Jesus on Sundays. But it happened after we recorded. The White House Correspondents' Dinner. So at that, you've got all the press. Who's the King? Charles? He's such a dope. Yeah, I can't stand King Charles. Yo, It's Carrie: Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. I was going to make a horrible joke. Okay. Yeah, that was awful. Yeah. Correspondence dinner. Todd: And make the horrible joke, okay? It's Todd's World. That's what we're for. Yo, It's Carrie: Well, you called it like a puppy mill and I said it's more like a mill of like, you know, baby parts. Todd: Yeah, it's like a dog food mill. It's horrible. And it gets worse because he's going to describe it. He's talking to an abortion advocate and it's just, it's wildly effective the way that he presents it. This is, yeah, this is at Congress. He's a US representative. I can't remember for what state. Clearly a red state I think, but it's US Representative Brandon Gill is his name. Yo, It's Carrie: The king was not here yet, correct? King Charles was not here yet, correct? He arrived? Okay, okay. I meant to look that up before. You can't stand. awful. It's awful. Okay. Todd: I don't know why we invited him. He's just the biggest dope that's ever walked the face of the earth. Inbred piece of garbage. Yo, It's Carrie: And what's his position? Where are we? Is this in Congress? Okay. Okay. Okay. He gave Trump a super ⁓ cool gift. Did you see the gift? ⁓ it's really neat. He gave him a bell from a World War II wartime ship that has Trump in the name of the ship. And he gave him the original bell from it, which I thought was a really cool gift. So I thought that was neat. Whatever. It's fine. Todd: No. Yo, It's Carrie: ⁓ Brandon Gill, I'm going to look up where he's from. Todd: And here it is. ⁓ that's cool. That's something. Yeah. He could have given him a free gift certificate to come over and get raped by Muslim rape gangs over in England. That seems to be what the UK specializes in. I'm only getting it my left ear, you two? Yo, It's Carrie: Damn. Yeah, it does sound a little thin, but the volume is fine. And he's from Texas, by the way. Todd: We are, there's so much about that all the time. I don't even get into it that much because what am I going to do? If the UK doesn't care about their own people getting raped, why should we? I don't know. You know what I mean? Let the Muslims in. You're getting it okay? Okay. He's from Texas, okay. So we'll keep listening even though it's not in stereo I guess. I don't know why it's not in stereo. Yo, It's Carrie: Yeah, it's awful. mean, I I know. Well, we're already, no, we're already involved elsewhere. But I'm curious. Are, ⁓ my gosh, are you going to talk about the assassination thing? Are you going to talk about the shooter? Cause I'm, okay, good. Cause I'm confused about something. Todd: Good. Yes, the assassination thing. That's why I brought it up. What do you compete your school? Well, you're by profession. Carrie doesn't do this much anymore, but by profession you were a teacher, right? You went to college to be teacher and you were a teacher for a while for a long time. This was this guy was like a disgruntled teacher, like high school teacher, right? Whatever his name was. Yo, It's Carrie: Mm-hmm. Right. Yeah. I mean, no, I don't know. Yeah. Well, I was going to say, think like, you I mean, I think some of them can be pushed, can be pushed to the edge just by like the craziness of, of the profession. But no, I just feel, I mean, I feel like there's a lot of, it's not overall. I mean, it's not Todd: I don't care. I don't know. But what's going on with teachers? Are they being radicalized at university? Yo, It's Carrie: everybody, but it's definitely an issue that like Trump derangement syndrome is definitely an issue like the the liberal minds of many teachers, but I'm curious about about some questions people have people on the left have about the ⁓ legitimacy of this attempt and I'm just yeah something about like firing off rounds before he was even in the room and that was you know Todd: Mm-hmm. Okay. ⁓ Yo, It's Carrie: that was stupid and therefore this isn't a legitimate attempt or something like that. I was trying to understand what the complaint is. Todd: So the left seems to be at least ⁓ intimating, whether they say it out loud or not, I'm sure some do, that all these assassination attempts on Trump are all staged. And they're staged to affect Trump's approval numbers, things like that. Fair? Is that kind of what you're hearing? Yo, It's Carrie: Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Sure. Yeah. I feel like his approval numbers are doing quite well, but okay. Aren't they? Todd: Do ya? Hey, I got something to show you. Yo, It's Carrie: Okay. I thought his approval rating was pretty good right now. Except at the gas pump. People get really upset about the gas prices. Todd: I'm going to show you something. Let me see if I can pull it up. All right, guys. I was going to bring this up. I wasn't going to bring it up right now, but you know, Carrie's fabulous and she pulls things up. Let's see. Let's do it right here. Carrie doesn't even know what I've been preparing all week, guys. I want you to know that she plays the role of the audience. She's the woman on the street interview, dancing for the groceries. Okay. Yo, It's Carrie: I don't even know. I'm the woman on the street. That's me. Well, that doesn't sound good, but you know what I mean? It doesn't sound good. Todd: Boom! What do think, Kerry? Did I not? It was ruthlessly effective, was it not? Yo, It's Carrie: Right? Okay. Brandon Gill. Todd: All right, here we go. What I want you guys to see is right. I don't know. Can you see, you can see that moving along, right? I want you to know that right about, whoops, let's go back here. That's ⁓ at about February, the end of February, Trump's approval versus disapproval. Now what you're looking at is a graph here. No, this is this year. ⁓ it is 2025. No? ⁓ yeah, it is. Hold on, hold on, hold on. Kerry called it. Yo, It's Carrie: Yeah, I'm goose bumpy, I'm appalled at night. and I know I've heard this stuff before, but look at her, how uncomfortable she is. Yeah. Do you see like how uncomfortable she is? And it's like, and I think some of it is frustration, which it's like, know, F you, Ms. Waters. If you're frustrated having to listen to it, having to like look in the face. Yeah. Yep. Todd: Ms. Yo, It's Carrie: This is last year, correct? This is 2025. Todd: Mm-hmm. ⁓ you're right ahead of it. Let's see. So. Yeah, imagine, right? You're a little free. You don't like to hear about how they do it. We don't like to hear about the sausage being made with the fetuses. The fetal sausage. Yo, It's Carrie: Right, it's like. What are these two things? Todd: Okay. So when Trump got in, he was inaugurated about 2025, right? So early on, you look at May, this is May of 2025, his unfavorable, let's see, his disapprove is about 49.7, his approval is about 47.8. So he's kind of close. I took this all the way back on this graph to... Yo, It's Carrie: Right, you're there to defend it. But I just, look at her body language, her obvious discomfort, and I think if you, if it makes you feel that way, then maybe you need to be asking yourself, why does it feel that way? Because it's barbaric and evil. Good for him, Brandon Gill. Yes. Mm-hmm. Todd: He called it out. Man, I just thought it was just, it was so effective. just the way, it was like his monotone delivery was like so good in that particular clip. just worked. Everything worked together for us to be like, listen, we can talk about abortion. We can talk about things. We can talk about laws. We can talk about all that. Yo, It's Carrie: Wow, Todd. Right? I kind of want to see other people's reactions in the room. Todd: to 2016, just so you guys could kind of see what happened. So this is Trump's first term and the red is the unfavorable. And you can see that first term, what was going on, it was, it was wild, right? It was this, this was, this was what happened with Trump. Then we hit, ⁓ things started to tighten up right before COVID and then everything kind of went to hell, right? Well, and we go all the way through. Now this is Biden. Yo, It's Carrie: Mm-hmm. Okay. Mm-hmm. Okay. Yes. Mm-hmm. Todd: I'm quite certain that 95 % of the women out there who get abortions have no idea. They're sold that it's kind of a form of birth control, right? They don't think of it in those terms. I'm not saying whether they should or they shouldn't. My only point is that I don't, this is that what he's attacking is the industry and the industry is what deserves to be attacked because they make a living, they make a fortune off selling. Unfavorable because it's it ⁓ He didn't he didn't have a great one. So anyway Trump starts out kind of tied Now this is the same thing that happened to his in his first term, which is things widened significantly But basically since the beginning of Trump's second term, he's lost about 16 points He's dropped 16 points in favorable versus unfavorable. So his his disapproval is people who don't approve of Trump Yo, It's Carrie: Yeah. Yeah. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Todd: off selling women first of all on killing their own kids, butchering those kids and then selling the body parts. And you know what? Yo, It's Carrie: Yep. Right. Yeah, they're making it on the front end and the back end. Todd: has gone up 16 points in about a year, year and a half. Now, how much of that is, is, ⁓ If you think that as America, can do that to hell, don't know what, two, three million of our own kids, and then have the blessing of God just because we have a Charlie Kirk revival, you are wrong. That is not the way things work. You have to turn away from evil practices first. Now, listen, I get the, I'm not saying that there are no revivals. Sometimes revivals move you there, but my point is that Yo, It's Carrie: Okay, so. Mm-hmm. Todd: Is it the war in Iran? I don't know. You can see it's diverging before that. Yo, It's Carrie: Well, I was going say this is a job, like this graph is a job approval specifically too. So we're looking at, ⁓ I mean, is it his, like the job he's doing? Is that what that means? Okay, gotcha. So. Boom. Mm-hmm. Yeah. Yeah. No, I know what you mean. Mm-hmm. Right. Todd: Yes. So you can see that it's widening out again. Same thing it did during this first term, actually. that these are the things that, I think that, and listen, they're all different fronts that need to be attacked at the same time, but Brandon Gill's doing a hell of a good job on his front, I think. So, ⁓ we're just about done. I want to leave you with a little bit of, this is Dan Bongino. Yo, It's Carrie: Yeah. Yeah, I would say Iran would definitely have an impact on that. What would have been before that? Todd: I heard Steve Dase, now he claimed, and I don't have the graph that he does. I don't think this is quite the same, but that since the war in Iran started that Trump has dropped about 15 points in favorability. His question was, could he have, now we turned tail and we fled. Yo, It's Carrie: Yes. Wow. Yeah. Woo. Okay. ⁓ good, I was gonna say, are we ending on that? Todd: No, I'm not going to end on that, but Bon Gino talks about, he's, this is remember, I told you Hannity has this, ⁓ this kind of new podcast, whatever it is, the hangout with Sean Hannity. Well, he had, yeah, he had Bon Gino on and, Bon Gino was talking about how the, the evidence that they found of the misdeeds of the DOJ and of the FBI during the Biden administration. Yo, It's Carrie: And you know. ⁓ yeah, in his little man cave. Todd: out of Minneapolis because things got a little rough. We didn't want to deport everybody. Tim Balls was just a paragon of intimidation. And for whatever reason, we rolled. We said, nope, we don't want to fight this. There's too much. We don't want the political cost of freeing Minneapolis from Tim Balls and the Somalians. And yet, we took that for Iran. Yo, It's Carrie: Mm-hmm. ⁓ cool. you Mm-hmm. Todd: And I thought this was a good clip because we talk a lot about it, about, I mean, how many times have I said the FBI needs to be shut down? It needs to be burned to the ground and the earth's salted. I don't think it's reformable. But then I heard this and I thought, that's a good point, Dan. in the effort of balance, Todd's World, here's Dan. Yo, It's Carrie: Mm-hmm. Right, I mean he is like, he is a gun ⁓ wielding governor, so. We're into the ground, salt the earth. Todd: Question is, would Trump have lost more staying in Minnesota and cleaning up America versus going to Iran to another war that nobody wanted so that gas could go up, by the way, in Michigan this week to five bucks a gallon. Did you vote for that, Gary? Did you vote for Trump to make sure gas prices got back to Biden levels? Because you know what follows gas prices? Everything in the world follows gas prices. Yo, It's Carrie: Okay, wow. I'm not okay with the gas prices. Yeah, exactly. You're absolutely right. If it plateaus here for long enough, it impacts everything. Our pest control goes up, our groceries go up, Amazon, everything. Todd: Did you see by the way that Comey got indicted again, James Comey, for his 86-47, those seashells on the shoreline? I think it was a lot more than that, guys, I want to say. The other thing that, I'm just going to throw this out there before we continue this clip, the other thing that happened with Comey, he wrote a book, a fictional book about the assassination of a president. If you look at his 86-47, it's surrounded by posts. Yo, It's Carrie: Yes. Todd: Everything. Yo, It's Carrie: Yep. Yep. I hate that. Todd: What's going on in Iran? What do you think? I mean... Yo, It's Carrie: I haven't heard anything new on Iran this week. Todd: People talk about how we're losing Iran. You think we're losing in Iran? I mean, we destroyed the military. We destroyed all these things. yet, and yet, we've got, things aren't going in the right direction. I mean, what's going on in Strait of Hormuz? Strait of Hormuz was open. Yo, It's Carrie: Mm-hmm. Yeah. Todd: releasing his book that released five days later. The government is also going after the profits on his book. Yo, It's Carrie: ⁓ damn. Did it do well? Did the book do well? I mean, how many, yeah, how many people like work in Washington? They all probably bought a Right. Okay. Well, I was going to say that I feel like that's really, yeah, that's really the, that's the big question is what's going on in the, in the street. Because ⁓ I thought things were opening up and I thought that we kind of had it, I thought we had it under control with the help of, I can't remember who it was who was helping. It wasn't France, was it? Todd: Just, I don't know how well it did. really. How many people pay attention to James Comey? don't know. Anyway, back to Dan Bongino. James Comey was the former FBI director for a while under Biden. think for about, he was under Trump and then for maybe a couple of years under Biden. He was the who went after all the J-6ers. I don't know, they might have sent a minesweeper at one point. Yo, It's Carrie: I can't remember. Anyway, I thought that's where, that's where we left off. I thought we were, we and some others were controlling the straight. Is that not the deal? He's also the one who let Hillary Clinton off the hook. Todd: Yes, an unabashed partisan deep stater, I think we can say. But Dan's about to tell us that maybe they're not all bad at the FBI. I just wanted to throw that in there because I'd forgotten to just to mention it. Yo, It's Carrie: Yeah, totally. Todd: Well, shit, we've had one foreign ⁓ oil tanker pass through the Straits of Hormuz, and I think it was from Japan in the last week. I reckon that there needs to be more than that to get the price of oil down. But what it seems like... Yo, It's Carrie: Mm-hmm. Thank you. Okay. Yes, indeed. Okay. So are they afraid to? Are they afraid to do it? Todd: It's talking to me, I think. Well, yeah, I mean, Iran, it's really hard. It's really, really difficult to defend the Straits when you have an entire country and then, and at one point it's like a two mile narrow, you know what I mean? It's just basically at this point now, now, now it got started with, it's not a regime change war, right? Is that fair? Is that how you understood Trump to say it? It's not what Iran can't have a nuclear weapon. That's what Trump kept saying. Right. And. Yo, It's Carrie: He's like, Todd, listen to Todd's world. Thanks, Dan. Mm-hmm. Hmm. Interesting. Mm-hmm. Yeah. Totally. Mm-hmm. Ooh. Yeah. And the regime has been hell-bent on it for a long time. Todd: Crossfire hurricane was you had the Russia gate collusion and then you had crossfire hurricane That was when Obama Brennan and all these guys got together right right after Trump was elected and said we've got to do everything we can to stop this guy and they essentially instituted a coup an internal coup and Comey was involved Yes. So the, I'm just, it feels to me like it's a regime change war at this point. Doesn't it? I know we haven't put any boots on the ground. We destroyed their military and we've essentially decided on a, on a siege. Yo, It's Carrie: Mm-hmm. I'm okay with that. Yep. Okay. Got it. Todd: That's been our, and you know what? That strategy might work. I'm not saying that it won't eventually work. But I don't know if anybody knows anything about sieges. If you have any view of history at all, the one thing sieges do is they take a while. You essentially are starving them out. Right? I mean, that's the idea. Eventually you're cutting off oil supplies, you're cutting off money, you're cutting off all these things, and you're trying to starve them out. So. Yo, It's Carrie: Mm-hmm. Okay, I guess. Sure, makes sense. Todd: When they came in and when the Jews rebelled in Jerusalem in AD 68 and then Titus comes and he surrounds Jerusalem and he puts them under siege, I think in the end it was two or three years. In the middle of that he left for a while because there was a problem. His dad I think was emperor and he ended up having to take over his dad. Whatever, he comes back, puts it back under siege. Point is sieges take a while. Does that make sense? Yo, It's Carrie: Mm-hmm. Okay. I mean, they have canned goods in the caves? What do they got? Todd: You don't lose people. don't, well, I don't know. You don't lose people. But it becomes a question of that. This is what I've always said, which is in Iran, what's that even mean? Like they w when you've got these, these gay ayatollahs that are willing to live without a leg and without any lips and, they're what they're in control. I mean, what short of putting boots on the ground and going cave diving in Iran, how do you know what I mean? Yo, It's Carrie: Yeah. you Mm-hmm. Yeah. Todd: So that's, I think encouraging. Yo, It's Carrie: Right. Todd: We could starve them out. That's a potential option. Probably while we're doing it, oil continues to stay high. So. Right? Things are starting to happen now that Pam Bondi's out. Now that she's home. Yo, It's Carrie: Maybe she's spending some time with her family. ⁓ Interesting, Tad. What do you think? So this is this is treasonous behavior. Yeah. Well, and the Iranian people suffer, which, I mean, they've been suffering. I just, I don't know. It's a tough thing. War sucks. War sucks. The Iranian regime sucks. And so it's going to be tough to fix it. I just, I don't know. Trump knew all this going in. That's kind of what I don't get to. It's like, what are you doing? Todd: So most of not on Fox News anymore. Things are happening. Yes, and there's still talk about this grand conspiracy thing that Tulsi's working on. My point is, think we might get, we're starting to get some of what we want, which is accountability. Remember last week we saw that clip from John Solomon talking about MAAA make America accountable again. There's hope that it's coming. I will say I hope they've got a lot more on James Comey than those stupid seashells. The regime. Yo, It's Carrie: Okay. Todd: I, yeah, everybody knows I've discovered Grok just recently. Like I'm still like, maybe a weekend. Yo, It's Carrie: Yeah. Well, you used it before, but you've just kind of gone into a whole new level. Todd: So I asked Grok to, uh, to generate a graph for me from 2016 to current of core food prices, energy prices, and gasoline prices. But I bet they do. I think that we're just getting started is what I think. So. Yo, It's Carrie: Okay. I hope it's more than just James Comey. mean, James Comey is a complete dick. Like he really, he, I mean, he screwed us with Hillary Clinton. It was so obvious. Yeah, it was like watching, it was like just watching fraud being thrown right out, right in our faces. And, but I, so I'll be glad to see him. I was excited to see him get indicted. Todd: ⁓ me too! Yo, It's Carrie: Okay. Todd: This to me is what your average American feels every day. The stock market, whatever. I'm going to say the stock market doesn't matter that much. That's really going to bother somebody who works for a financial planner, but I understand down the road, the stock market could matter. Go get him, Kerry. Don't hold back. Yo, It's Carrie: Mm-hmm. Todd: He was trying to swing the election, obviously. Yo, It's Carrie: going to bother people with the retirement, but the market's doing well. So yeah, the market's doing fine. Todd: Mm-hmm. Market's doing well. But do you remember, was it last year? Do you remember all the talk about how we played clips of Scott Besson, our treasury secretary, and he said, you know what? Wall Street's had a hell of a run. It's time for Main Street. Remember that? Yeah. Wall Street's still having a hell of a run. Where's Main Street's? Well, let's look at the graph. Let's see how it looks. Scott, where's Main Street? Well, gasoline prices. Yo, It's Carrie: I'll be glad to see him go down, but it better be more than just James Comey is all I'm saying. Todd: Yeah, I agree. A hundred percent. I agree with you. I thought that was encouraging. Yo, It's Carrie: Wow. Interesting, Dan. So I'm going to say something else. Dan, I've watched a lot of him and he does get wide-eyed, you know, during certain times, but he... I'm sorry, but I've never seen him look like that before. No. Yep. Mm-hmm. Todd: Mm-hmm. Hahaha Yo, It's Carrie: Right. Well, okay. Yeah. Todd: No, no, this sounded serious. It sounded like, and when he said somebody left it, thought, Hmm, that's, that's kind of, that makes sense. It makes sense that there was good guys embedded in, well, you hope that there'd be some good guys in the FBI. And that, that part of that is they were running their own kind of, kind of mild resistance, I guess you could say or whatever. I don't, I, well, well, I mean, it could end up being a huge resistance if they left everything. Basically it sounds like gift wrapped. Yo, It's Carrie: Mm-hmm. Todd: We see that at their peak during Biden's, the middle of Biden's term, you had gasoline up here, you had energy prices, and then you had core food prices down here on the blue. So gas is green, energy is orange, core food prices are blue. So that was the peak, right? Probably the peak ⁓ of COVID era spending. And then it starts to come down, right? Yo, It's Carrie: Mm-hmm. does make sense. Sure. Yeah, you hope so. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Right. I guess. Right. Todd: And it was in a burn bag, was this needs to be burned. And they set it aside somewhere and they're like, somebody's going to need to find this. that some of the COVID money starting to work its way out of the system, right? I mean, probably is what's happening. We've never seen an injection of liquidity into a system like we did during COVID. Just an injection of cash is a way to think of it. We've never seen anything like it. So you see it down here at 2020, we start injecting in it. Boom, that's what happens. I'm telling you, if you took an economics class in college, Yo, It's Carrie: Okay. Yeah, that's awesome. Todd: Fabulous, that's what that's what we should hope for all right one more clip Carrie, then we're gonna call it a day And this is a short one and this is kind of back to our cultural thing. This isn't political per se ⁓ But I think you're gonna Yeah, let me turn this down hold on this is about the two-income family, and I just found this clip. I think this guy's a Brit ⁓ Yo, It's Carrie: All right. Okay. Yep. Okay. Okay, okay, okay, here we go. This is just something to have wild opinions about. Love it. Mm-hmm. Todd: and you run the computer simulations with it, which they have you run. This is what happens when you inject a bunch of money into a, you get wild inflation, which by the way is almost impossible to ever get rid of. Yo, It's Carrie: Yeah. He looks like a Brit. He has such a Brit look about him. Todd: Let me look at the camis. I don't know who camis is, but that's who posted it on X. So just to give credit where credit's due, let's hear what he has to say about the two income family. I thought this was really interesting. I think you guys might. Yo, It's Carrie: Right, unfortunately. Okay. Todd: Which brings a question about housing. mean, you know, I didn't bring it. There's a lot of graphs you could run. All of them look kind of bad for America. Okay. Here's the, here's Biden. Okay. There's your election in 2024. Well, 2024 your elections right toward the end. Things are coming down. Trump gets into office around 2025, right? Core food prices still aren't coming down. They're still going up a little bit, but energy prices and gas prices are coming down. And now look at them. Yo, It's Carrie: Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Yeah. Mm-hmm. Todd: That what we voted for? No. Yo, It's Carrie: No. Nope. Todd: We did not vote for this Trump. So we did vote for you to keep us safe. We don't want to get blown up by a nuke from Iran. Yo, It's Carrie: We do not. Todd: But we didn't vote for 499 gas. We didn't vote for Trump to come in tank. I mean, essentially the economy is not really tanking the economies on pretty solid terms. Unless you're an average American. I just saw somebody making less than a hundred grand a year struggling right now. Yo, It's Carrie: No, I'm so sorry. Hmm. Mm-hmm. Yeah. Yeah. ⁓ yeah. Yeah. That's. Todd: So that's a pretty average American. There's a lot of Americans making way less than 100 grand a year. Yo, It's Carrie: I was going to say, I'm like, yeah, that's like a lot of people. Todd: So Mr. President Trump, what in the hell are you doing in Iran and why can't the best messenger, the best pitch guy in the history of America come up with a way to sell it? You know what I mean? It does frustrate me a little bit. Yo, It's Carrie: Yeah, that's a great question. Todd, I'm curious about this too. ⁓ What happened to all the talk about how we aren't reliant upon other foreign oil sources? I thought we had all we needed right here. Why are... Todd: Well, it doesn't matter when you tell the entire world to come here and we turn America into a gas station. I mean, to some extent, the world still needs oil. It's still all going to come and the market is still going to set the price. So if you set a blockade on the Straits of Hormuz through which 20 % of the world's oil comes through, you reduce the amount of oil by 20%. So all of these countries, all of these people who need oil, instead of What do think, Kerry? Yo, It's Carrie: I think it's unfortunate. Todd: Was it a plot by the government all along to get twice as much tax? Not only that, but by house values going up, that's the other thing. See, don't think people think, well, why wouldn't the government want to get, why wouldn't Trump want to get house prices down? Well, I can tell you that every single locale out there that gets more money in property tax loves that house values are going up. So they get to tax two incomes, property taxes start going up, and suddenly prices go up. Yo, It's Carrie: Mm-hmm. Todd: Dealing with 100 % of the market are dealing with 80 % and that always, always, always is going to cause the price to rise. Now that may make Trump feel better that it's American gas companies that are getting the money. I bet it does. It doesn't make average Americans feel any better. Is that fair? I don't give a shit if it's an American gas company that's making, that's selling $5 gas or if it's a British gas company that's selling three. everywhere. Yo, It's Carrie: Well, if we get rid of income tax, you know, I mean, I don't think Trump is like in support of it. Yeah, I don't either. I mean, and I'm not sure it was a government plot. Maybe the government capitalized on it after it started, you know, to happen. But I don't know that it was the plot because I really think what it was, was, you know, women, I think it had to do with women's liberation and, you know, you don't have to... Right, yeah, unless, yeah. Todd: I don't know what the solution is either. Yo, It's Carrie: Well, it... Yeah. Todd: Ahem. Yo, It's Carrie: It's kind of like, and I remember questioning why, for instance, if you're in Michigan and you're in the same state as how many dairy farms, why is your milk more expensive than someone where you have to ship it out? So that's what I'm asking. If we have our own oil sources, why are we paying so much for gas here? I don't get it. stay home, you can go and do this. can, you and then people were like, hey, this is kind of awesome. I mean, there are women out there who really like wanted careers and wanted to I think there are van, this is not a cop out answer. This is legit. My legitimate answer is I seriously, I mean this because I'm like, cause I'm a minority among my friends, but, ⁓ but I think. Todd: How do you think that's worked out for women? So it's. Yo, It's Carrie: I didn't study economics and I'll admit it and I hope you don't show this clip because I'll get lots of hate on TikTok. Todd: I believe you. It's supply and demand, that's all it is. So by closing the Straits of Hormuz, we've reduced the world's oil supply by 20%. Now, we're somewhat increasing that by bringing Venezuela back online and some things like that. I did hear, and I'm gonna credit Steve Dase on this too. I'm gonna tell you guys, there are not a lot of shows that I listen to. I enjoy Steve Dase's show. So he's one that I happen to listen to. And I heard him yesterday and I thought, good point. ⁓ Yo, It's Carrie: Well, Todd: Yeah, no, I get it. That's why I ask you, cause I wanted your real opinion. Yo, It's Carrie: I think that there are huge advantages and huge disadvantages. I think it's great that today, ⁓ okay, finances aside, economic ramifications aside, it's right, right. But as far as psychologically for women, because you said, how has that worked out for women? So psychologically and all that, I think ⁓ it's a wonderful place to be in. Mm-hmm. Okay. Mm-hmm. OK. Todd: Mm-hmm. Which was theoretically the whole point, but yeah. And I don't know if it was yesterday's show or Thursday's, but basically he said what he believes is that Trump is trying to, in addition to resetting the world order, he's trying to reset the world order on oil. He doesn't want, you just had the UAE leave OPEC. One of the biggest suppliers in OPEC, the United Arab Emirates have left OPEC. What Steve Dase believes is that, Right. Yes. Yo, It's Carrie: I don't think many men have this feeling, this perspective, but I think it's wonderful that women very often have an option. I can go and pursue a career. I can go and be whatever I want to be and earn an income and take care of myself. I don't need no man. Or contribute to a household with a partner. Or... Yes. Are you going to explain that? Okay. Todd: Trump is going to try to reorient that between Venezuela, America, the UAE, and try to form a new cartel that's Western hemisphere oriented. And he thinks it could be amazing for a president in 2032, but he thinks Trump's going to get killed in the midterms because of it. Now, is it, is it worth it for Trump to sacrifice all of that political capital for that? In the end, it might be historically looking back. Mm-hmm. Yo, It's Carrie: I wanted to have kids and I wanted to be home with them. My mom wasn't able to be home with me. And I remember saying like, I want to be able to do that. And we sacrificed a lot to do that. It wasn't easy. But I love that time. I wouldn't trade it for anything. Every now and then I'd look back and be like, man, if I had just worked like... Okay. Todd: Mm-hmm. Right. It's important to you. Yo, It's Carrie: No. Todd: Not at all. Yo, It's Carrie: Wow. Todd: But it sure doesn't feel like that to average ordinary Americans right now. And the messaging is horrendous. It's horrendous for a president. It reminds me of COVID and it pisses me off. It reminds me of two weeks to slow the spread. We got this thing done. We pretty much won. Just give us another two weeks and it goes on and on and on and on and on and gas goes from three to four to five to what? Six? I just, I don't, I don't know. Anyway. Yo, It's Carrie: Yeah, I think. Todd: Much more money would I have. Yo, It's Carrie: I know, like we'd have this or we have this in the bank or whatever, whatever, you know? We bought a lot of things secondhand and we, you know... Todd: Well, you know. We talk about on, we have beers with Jesus of course, so that's tomorrow guys, you should tune in. We're ⁓ going through Genesis right now. in the Christian faith, the idea is that at the end of time, our lives are kind of passed through the fire of God's love. And at the end of that, what comes out, and it talks about this, I can't remember, it's one of Paul's epistles, might be 1 Corinthians, could be second, could be neither. Yo, It's Carrie: Yep. It's a good comparison. Yeah. I don't think it's worth, okay, I get it, long-term, big picture. He's thinking bigger than we are, I'm sure. But I just don't think it's worth it. It's too dangerous to concede ⁓ seats to Democrats at this stage of the game. It's too dangerous. Todd: Mm-hmm. can't remember off the top my head. But at the end of time, our lives are passed through and a lot of our lives are wood, hay, and stubble. They're burnt up by the fire. And it talks about people who are saved yet as by fire. They don't have much to show for the life that they've led. But it is possible, and there are people who through that fire, gold, silver, precious stones, crowns are passed through. Yo, It's Carrie: Okay. Todd: Well, but now we're in it. How dangerous is it to just turn tail and take off from Iran? And what have we done? Blow a bunch of shit up? Left the same people in charge? So they, we, we still don't have the nuclear dust. Trump says we're going to get the nuclear dust. How do we get that without sending troops down a mountain hole to get it? Yo, It's Carrie: ⁓ I don't know. mean, he's, we, yeah, we got to speed it up. He's got to speed up something or he's got to be transparent with the American people and sell it. Like if he's got this great idea, get to a point where you can share it with people and sell it. Because if people don't understand it, if people don't understand it, they're just going to start turning away from him. ⁓ Okay. Todd: And I think that's the difference. don't think that what we make, I don't think the economic, I don't think what we buy, don't think any, that's all wood hand stubble. The time that you spent with your kids, the relationships that you build, that's the gold, silver and precious stones. So I think right now, right now you can look at it and look back and think, man, think of what I had, think ahead. I think later on, you're gonna be like, man, I made the best choices. You know what I mean? I mean, what's your take right now? And I think probably you're more, you're more educated given your place as a, as a permanent cohost on Todd's world on the Wildly Binion News Hour. What's your take on why are we in, why are we in Iran? What are we doing? Yo, It's Carrie: Mm-hmm. Okay. I didn't wear my, I didn't wear my pen, my pen that says I'm Todd's world. What? What do mean? ⁓ yeah, I don't regret it. I really don't. I wouldn't trade it. Yeah. I also think I want to defend women. And I think men need to be careful how they look at their work, because it's noble to provide for your family. It's noble to go do honest work and provide for your family. It's one of the things I think men are called to do. But I think beyond that, I think you could take it a step further. this is kind of where women, I think, where they begin. And that is, Todd: I really do. Don't you? What are we doing in Iran? What's the overwhelming national interest that pushed us to Iran? Yo, It's Carrie: ⁓ well to prevent them from getting nuclear weapon power. Capability. Todd: Sure. Pakistan has nuclear weapons. Pakistan, I guess, is more stable than Iran. Mm-hmm. 100%. That seems, that seems like quite a competition. Yo, It's Carrie: Yeah, I guess. ⁓ my gosh. Yeah, I mean, we were just preventing that capability because they've been determined to do it for so long. And, and we believe that there was some intelligence indicating that, that it was, it was time. They were getting close. So you ask that because... you've got to look at your work as having a purpose beyond just a paycheck. And so I think of, I mean, my daughter, for example, she's going to be a working woman. She's graduating in a few months with her master's ⁓ as a marriage and family therapist. Todd: Well, there was a time, there was a brief period where we blew all their shit up, right? We blew their Navy up, we've blown, they don't have anything left and we could have left. And we could have said, mission accomplished, like George W. Bush, except without all the people, without 500,000 troops on the ground and a quagmire, we could have left. We could have left a few and we could have said, listen, we may have to come back in in three years and blow up shit again. That's just how it's going to go with Iran. probably depend what childcare costs. Right? Sometimes it's hard to make of work. Yo, It's Carrie: Mm-hmm. Yep. Mm-hmm. Right? But she's going into this wanting to help people. ⁓ My mom, yeah, she'll be great. My mom was in banking and that doesn't sound like much, but I know the spirit of her and the way she approached works is that she wanted to help people. She's like reaches out, she's retired, but she still reaches out and helps people with their finances, their budgets, the way they think about money. And I think that if the spirit Right. Todd: Mm-hmm. Probably be a great therapist. Yo, It's Carrie: Okay. Mm-hmm. Todd: Absolutely. We're going to keep an eye on them. We're going to make sure they're not a threat. If we start to think they're a threat, we're going to blow things up. We could have done that. And that would not have been a regime change war. What we're doing right now, we cannot leave with the regime intact or we look like we look somehow we've destroyed an entire country's military and we will walk away looking like the losers. I don't know how that could possibly happen. Yo, It's Carrie: Okay. of your intention, know, spirit of your intention when you approach your work, whatever it is. You know, you could go and do a remodeling job and just be like, okay, yeah, you know, I want this tile to be straight. Well, or you can go and say, I am helping this family beautify their home with my skills and my gifts that God gave me. I think that there's just that you just, it's up to us. Well, I don't either. And I don't understand how, what's happening with the regime change. When you say it's unsuccessful, it's like we destroyed everybody. So are those who are claiming these spots of leadership, are they just adjacent? Todd: Yeah. ⁓ a hundred percent. I get to develop a relationship with people because you're in their house, you'll be there for a few months and quite honestly, the relationship I've developed with my customers is fabulous. I love them. They're great. They're just by and large all great people. then sometimes you run into times where things get a little tense, but for the most part, they've all been really great. So ⁓ I think what I like to do, what I like to do on Todd's World, Well, the people haven't risen up and taken back their government. It's not 1776 in Iran, right? Yo, It's Carrie: Yeah, yeah, well, like you said, they're not armed. They're not armed like we were. Damn. Yeah. Todd: No. So what have we tied our wagons to and how do we get out of it is a fair question for a regime that can, I don't because this regime will consider itself a success if they've lost a leg and then their face is burned off and they're hiding in their cave, but the people are still afraid of them. Yo, It's Carrie: Yeah. Yeah. Do you have an answer, Todd? So I don't, I don't know I brought that full circle, but. ⁓ Todd: As much with question and abortion, I like to look at what we've done, meaning as a culture, and say, and at least hold it up for scrutiny and say, what do you think? What are the results? Good, bad, mixed? Most of the time things are mixed. What's that mix look like? Was it good or bad? Should we start to, as we've bent the arc of our culture in one direction, if we don't like where it's going, Yo, It's Carrie: Mm-hmm. Right. I was thinking about that guy and I was thinking, wonder if his, I wonder if his doctor is like Dr. Jill Biden at this point. Right. ⁓ Yep. Todd: She's over there. She's running triage for the Iranian National Guard. Yo, It's Carrie: Try to keep him alive so he can like, you know, claim the throne. I don't know. It's pretty crazy. Yeah. Mm-hmm. Todd: Well, we should at least all agree, maybe we start bending it the other way. You know what I mean? It's just that. It's not that it's bad for women to work or that you shouldn't have any dual income families. It's none of that. It's just nothing is above looking at and saying, is this the best we can do? And are we doing it the best we can do it? Has it caused unintended consequences that maybe we should start to address in a different way? You know what I mean? It's a mess right now. And then they got to do something about it. This is not. Well, I'll tell you this. This is the, don't know how you win now. The redistricting helped. Did we, we didn't talk about the redistricting last week or did we? Okay. We did. I couldn't remember when it happened. We don't have to get into it. We already talked about it. Yo, It's Carrie: Okay, right. Right. I think it's fine. We did. We did. But before we get into redistricting, just have to say, we, ⁓ okay, okay. Then you can finish your thought on it. Right. Todd: I just get lost. forget what happens a week to like when things, when, things hit, couldn't remember if it had hit yet or not, but you're, you said it did. So. Yo, It's Carrie: It always does. Right. Mm-hmm. Todd: Should the government at least not get excited about the fact it gets twice as much tax dollars from a family that's struggling from a double income? You know what I mean? That kind of thing. So that's what I like to do on Todd's World. And guys, I gotta tell you, we're done today. I think we've done all we can do on news. But tomorrow's gonna be Beers with Jesus, and this conversation is kind of gonna lead right into it, because we're talking about the fall of man, Genesis 3, and in that, we find out Yo, It's Carrie: Mm-hmm. Yeah, we talked about Virginia, although we didn't talk about the Supreme Court thing happened after after we recorded. It did. Yeah. Right. Yes. Yeah. Todd: ⁓ it did. So it was going to come out, we hadn't, the decision hadn't been released. Okay. So again, we were on the cutting edge of societal evolution, like Russia used to be. Somebody's got to take it. Okay. ⁓ Yo, It's Carrie: Correct. Correct. I mean, know, but Todd, here's the thing you're saying. You're saying that we we've got it like we've got to see this through. But I don't think that we, even though we went in, you know, we went in and did the big mess. I don't think that we should be shouldering the responsibility entirely for this for this whole enterprise for this. No, I think. OK, OK, well, you know what? Todd: God has some specific things to the women. This is what's gonna happen. This is how, now you're gonna bear children in pain. To the men, the world, the ground's gonna work against you. My point is, we're moving right into this. This is a perfect segue for you to go right off of news into beers with Jesus and you're gonna love it. Todd'sWorld.net, hit us there. Kerry, thank you so much. Yo, It's Carrie: Mm-hmm. Good job, Tate. Todd: Yeah. Well, we're not, we got Israel running wingman. Some people say running point. Yo, It's Carrie: Seamless as usual. Well, mean, can Israel, can Pakistan, can they all, can they step up? I mean, they're closer. They're right there. Can you guys handle this? We're going home. We've got like really shitty gas prices and populations turning against us. We gotta go. Thank you too. Todd: Guys, come back next week. Every week, Tuesdays, do Wildly Opinion, NewsHour, Wednesdays, Beers with Jesus. Go buy some books. Insurrection's a great book. know, Insurrection Book 2, Circle of Wolves. I'm not gonna say that it's about James Comey, but I'm gonna say you might find a character kinda like James Comey in it. And you're really gonna enjoy it. It's been a, it's a, don't think at this point, I think, I think at this point fleeing would be worse. Like I said, there was a spot we could have and then we decided not to and. Yo, It's Carrie: there. You might. His sort, his sort of character is present. That's for sure. It's funny. Well, and I don't mean that they should all be running. I just feel like that region needs to empower the people in Iran and say, it's time. It's time. Quit. You've been oppressed. Quit keeping yourself in a position to be oppressed continually. Let's, you know, let's go. I don't know. I don't know what the next step is. You have an election? You know, I mean, seriously, what's... Todd: And I promise you we make America America accountable again an insurrection I promise you All right guys, thanks for joining me today Carrie come back for beers with Jesus tomorrow guys, you're gonna enjoy it We're gonna basically continue the conversation, but we're gonna start with Bible. So, alright. Thanks guys. We'll see you next time Yo, It's Carrie: Yeah, that's true. That's very true. Good seeing you. Yeah. See you tomorrow. Yep. Bye. Todd: run the election. Yo, It's Carrie: I don't know, that's what I'm saying. aren't there people? Todd: See, the problem is every place you go, this ends with boots on the ground. I mean mostly. Or else it doesn't work. Yo, It's Carrie: They don't have to be ours, but they don't have to be ours. Why is it our responsibility? Todd: Well, Yo, It's Carrie: Can't we just be... Todd: What do think? Israel's gonna put troops on the ground? That'll work well. That'll go over well. That'll blow apart our little fledgling Arab cooperators that we have. Yo, It's Carrie: Yikes. Right. Well, I think that there are plenty of Arab countries who want a more peaceful, a more sensible, rational, maybe rational is the best word, leadership there. But I mean, someone could run an election. There were tens of thousands of Iranians willing to put their lives at risk to protest. Now they're all like hiding in their homes expecting the United States to like come in and Todd: You know, I thought... Yo, It's Carrie: Fix everything? I don't get that. Todd: Everybody knows that I like I love Trump, right? There's none of this has ever been a I've been pretty pretty much on the Trump train from the beginning certainly from Yo, It's Carrie: Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. If you're new to the show, Todd likes Trump. I do too. Todd: But I'm just telling you, I thought he knew enough to not get involved in this snake pit. I thought, you know what I thought? Hell, I thought Trump was going to fix Minnesota. I thought he was going to fix Minneapolis. Hell, I thought Trump was going to fix America. Yo, It's Carrie: Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Right. Yeah. Todd: And if the answer is, well, we got to fix Iran to fix America. Well, campaign different than tell us that on the front end. Yo, It's Carrie: Yeah. And you know what? And I disagree with that. We do not need to fix Iran, fix America. Do we need to stop them from having a nuclear weapon? Yeah. But do we need to put all of our attention and resources there? No. Todd: I mean, we could have done what we did last summer. We could have gone in when, when, when Israel gave us the, the Intel that listen, all these 40, 45, 50 leaders are all together. They're all going to be in one place because they don't think we're going to do anything. We could have blown them up. Hell, we could have destroyed their whole military and then we could have walked away and said, that's it. Next nuclear ambitions. We're coming back and we're going to blow more shit up. Try to get your shit together. But that, that isn't what we've done. So, ⁓ Yo, It's Carrie: Mm-hmm. Yeah. I mean... Yeah. Anyway. Todd: Anyway, okay. Yo, It's Carrie: I think what you're saying is true though, that Trump needs to sell this better. If he's got a plan, then he needs to share it because right now everyone on the left is just convincing people who are waffling Trump supporters on the right who are uncertain about this. They're just pulling them to the dark side. Todd: There's a frustration. Yeah. He's lost something along the lines of about 35 % of his support among Gen Z men. Maybe that's worth it if we're fixing Minnesota. Is that worth it if we're fixing Iran? I wonder. Because you know what's coming next is a loss in the midterm and then impeachments and everything's going to stop. Yo, It's Carrie: Mmm. Yeah, everything will stop. That's what we can't, that's what we cannot sacrifice. Yeah. I don't care enough about Iran and Israel. Todd: For what? For what? For Iran and Israel? If there's bigger things afoot, tell us! Okay. I'm done pounding on Trump for the day. Now... Yo, It's Carrie: Yep. Exactly. Okay. Get your shit together, Trump. Get it together. Todd: I don't like going to my gas station and seeing 499. First time that I recall that happening. It says gas was higher under Biden. I don't remember ever at my local gas station seeing 499 a gallon under Biden. Maybe I did, but I don't remember it. Yo, It's Carrie: No. Yeah, if that happened here, I don't remember that either. Maybe it was brief, but I don't think that it was that high here. It approached four. Todd: Until now... Anyway, I want to go back to the White House Correspondents' I don't know what to say about all these assassination attempts. The Butler thing is weird. It's hard for me to believe that'd be staged and that Trump is going to take one to the ear that close. I just have a hard time buying it. If somebody's telling me, listen, our snipers are so good, you can do it, I'll be like, no, not my ear, buddy. I also don't believe Trump would endanger his own supporters that way. So I don't believe that was fake. Yo, It's Carrie: Okay. ⁓ yeah. Absolutely not. Yeah. Absolutely not. Nope. I I agree because that's right. Was there one guy killed or was it more? Todd: I think two Trump supporters killed remember he shot into the shut into the crowd or whatever kind of The one guy was core. I think his name was Cory. He was a firefighter or something remember and ⁓ In his yeah, and then there was another I think maybe somebody else got shot, but but lived through it can't remember what what it was but ⁓ This next one this latest one I don't know but I want to play both blitzer in this I gotta tell you guys Yo, It's Carrie: Yeah. Remember the guy. Mm-hmm. Anyway. Yes. Unbelievable. I agree with you. Okay. Todd: I just want you to see all of these talking heads, all of our, all of our fearless leaders in the press. want you to see how they respond when things go a little haywire. We aren't dealing with paragons of courage. I can tell you that. Yes. Yo, It's Carrie: ⁓ my gosh. I just, can I comment here on Wolf? It's so funny. Today in 2026, I can imagine like I have run into, you know, young people named Wolf. I just think it's so funny for someone of his generation to be named Wolf. I know it's pretty funny. Did he have like hippie parents? I'm trying to, I'm trying to figure it out. Anyway. Todd: Like a wolf. Yo, It's Carrie: Anyway. Todd: I just want to listen to a little, I got Wolf Blitzer and then, ⁓ God, I just forgot his name. Jake Tapper, Jake Tapper. You can imagine Jake Tapper in a foxhole. All right guys, I just want you to hear and mind you through all this. I just want to listen to a little, I got Wolf Blitzer and then, ⁓ God, I just forgot his name. Jake Tapper, Jake Tapper. You can imagine Jake Tapper in a foxhole. All right guys, I just want you to hear and mind you through all this. Yo, It's Carrie: Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. ⁓ yeah yeah, I saw him. ⁓ yeah yeah, I saw him. Well no. Okay. Mm-hmm. Well no. Okay. Mm-hmm. Todd: Bobby Kennedy, RFK Jr. Sitting at the table. He's not diving under the table. You know who else was there? Dana White from the USC. He's just sitting around watching everybody. Everybody's like, ⁓ my God, we're going to die. There were courageous people in there and none of them were from the press. So let's watch Wolf. Let's hear what he has to say. was heroin. It was heroin in there. He saw the gunman. He threw a shoe in the scrum. did. Bobby Kennedy, RFK Jr. He threw a shoe in the scrum. did. Yo, It's Carrie: They were just sitting there? They were just sitting there? ⁓ my, ⁓ yeah, I don't think the press is really... ⁓ my, ⁓ yeah, I don't think the press is really... Okay. Okay. He threw a shoe. He threw a shoe. Todd: Wolf finally felt safe in a restroom with 50 other men. Yo, It's Carrie: Why did the police grab grab reporters and throw them into the men's room? Todd: Well, I think they were trying to just confine, like they're trying to just like, first of all, get people safe and also keep them someplace where they can figure out what's going on. Yo, It's Carrie: Okay. Meanwhile, okay. Todd: He's out. is very serious weapon. What's that even mean? It was a very serious weapon. Like it wasn't, it wasn't a box cutter. Like they took down flight 93 with. Yo, It's Carrie: very seriously. You know what? He's, you know what, you know why he's saying that? Because in his position, he wants to say, he wants to be able to say, it's an automatic, you know, automatic fill in the blank. He wants to say that, but he doesn't have that information yet. So he's got to say, it's a really serious weapon. Yeah. Well, I mean, I I I think any gun is a serious weapon, Wolf. Okay. Todd: and he has no idea. There's no doubt, prompter. I don't even know what to say. It was a serious weapon. first thing goes to Wolf's Mine. You know why? There's nobody in the world more important in Wolf's Mine than Wolf. He's okay, it's scary. Thank God, Thank God you were so familiar with 50 men in a restroom running a train. Yo, It's Carrie: I am not with I am gonna mock him for being afraid. I would be very afraid. It'd be, it'd be, it'd be hella scary to be sitting there and have like gunfire going off and you're getting tackled and pushed into a safe space. I mean, I'm not gonna mock him for being afraid, but it's, you know. You are, oh my gosh. Todd: I am. One by one. Listen, I just want to hear about him throwing a shoe, guys. I'm telling you, he threw a shoe! Like a horse! Yo, It's Carrie: ⁓ I was gonna say, I didn't hear anything about this show. Okay. Todd: So you think that Trump is manufacturing all that? That's what the left thinks? That Trump's making all this up just to scare Wolf Blitzer and Jake Tapper? that what- I mean- Yo, It's Carrie: Yeah, no, mean, that's just dumb. So this isn't like a full, it isn't on another floor. It's like a, it's like a recessed room. Is that kind of what we're hearing? Okay. Todd: Yeah. Yes. Well, it's kind of like a foyer, I think. So in other words, you had to walk up into this kind of foyer. So it's like a half ass ballroom. That was the first thing. The funniest thing was that Trump comes out and you know what he takes out of this assassination attempt? This is why we got to have the ballroom. That's what he said. I'm sorry. I just love Trump. I know I just went off on him for a half hour guys, but I really love Trump. Yo, It's Carrie: 70 seconds. There was something, ⁓ I know. Well, there was something cool that happened this week. We'll talk about later. Yeah. Todd: Anyway, I want to get into Jake Tapper. But we didn't get to hear Wolf talk about throwing a shoe, but I'm telling you, he threw it. It's like a four minute clip of Wolf being afraid and we don't have time on the Wildly Opinion News Hour for four. We have we we have a minute and a half of Wolf being afraid. Yo, It's Carrie: What? Okay. Give us like a Grak type summary. Under what conditions and for what purpose did he throw a shoe? Okay. Did it fall off while he was tackled and running or you're saying he threw it? Todd: he ⁓ he ushered into the russian many realized he was missing a shoe and That's what we think. That's what we think. He threw it like... No, didn't throw it like with his hand. Like a horse throws a shoe. Yo, It's Carrie: He threw it like a little Venezuelan grandma throws a shoe. Like what? Okay, gotcha. Todd: He lost his shoe, I think is what happened. But now let's hear about Jake Tapper. Jake Tapper, he he's real courageous. Sorry. Yo, It's Carrie: Look at his crooked tie. He's all like a skew. Todd: This is our best and our brightest. We're all at this dinner. Take away the teleprompters and they can't even speak like normal people. Yo, It's Carrie: ⁓ Todd: I idea what happened. Wolf Blitzer was in a men's room with 15 other people and he threw his shoes. So it must have been serious. These people. This is our press. It's just so embarrassing to me. I just can't even. Sorry guys. Anyway, Trump's fine. Everybody's fine. Nobody got killed. The guy got a couple shots off and he hit a secret service guy like... Yo, It's Carrie: it Todd: Mid-range, he had a, he had a bold protestance. He's okay. Well, Trump said he talked to him. Everybody's cool. Everybody's, you know what I mean? So yeah. Yo, It's Carrie: Okay. Thank goodness. And it's wild, like the reports that were first coming out because people were saying like they killed the shooter and all of a sudden then later I see him like he's totally fine. was like, okay, it's just people just. Todd: Just a school teacher. ⁓ What is even going on? ⁓ this is the guy. is the, this is the, I've got some video of him talking about, well, no, this isn't, this is just him. It's not his manifesto. I do have it here. ⁓ Yo, It's Carrie: Did, well, did you read his? Okay. Did you read his manifesto? Yeah. He apologizes to everyone who he's disappointed. I mean, it almost sounds like he ⁓ didn't think he was gonna make it out of there. Todd: I know I'm going have to shoot a bunch of you by trumps. Yeah, he said, on to why I did any of this. I am a citizen of the United States of America. What my representatives do reflects on me and I am no longer willing to permit a pedophile, rapist, and traitor to cope my hands with his crimes. Now, I will tell you that I think the one, the best thing somebody could do who thought this, the person to blame is the press. So you went to the right event. But don't try to shoot the president. Just start taking out some journalists. Yo, It's Carrie: Mm-hmm. Okay. Todd: Because those are the ones who lied to you. That's why you think that. Trump never raped anybody. He's not a pedophile. All of this is crazy talk. Because it's been fed to him by these people who the second they hear gunshots or microwave popcorn, dive under the table. Because they're so scared. Yo, It's Carrie: I know, but he believes all of that. I mean, the people, I know. I start throwing shoes. I need the men's room. I don't know. just... Todd: Anyway. Yo, It's Carrie: That's crazy. I mean, I'm glad he didn't get closer. I'm glad he didn't kill anybody. This will be interesting to find out if he like is a if he's just like a regular guy or if someone put him up to this, you know. Todd: That happened. we're radicalizing our own population. Now, if you want to stop the rapist, the pedophile, and the traitor in the White House, you know what you have to do? You got to go to Minnesota and try to run over ICE agents so that you get killed. This is what they're doing to the young and old skulls full of mush out there that don't have, I don't know if they don't have any filter, I don't know what, but they can't. Yo, It's Carrie: Yeah, totally. The news is. Mm-hmm. Yeah. Mm-hmm. Todd: They just take it all in and then whatever the press says, ⁓ that must be true. And Trump's horrible Trump derangement syndrome. It's a, a, it's a, it's a bad. Yo, It's Carrie: Yeah, totally. It's really bad. It's legitimately impacting people mentally. It really is. I know we joke about it and they joke about it on SNL and all that, it is a legitimate, ⁓ I mean, it's becoming like a mental condition. It really is. Todd: But I know it's... Yeah, it is. It's not becoming. I think we're there. People are trying to kill the president. And they're not only trying to kill the president. I mean, they killed Charlie Kirk, which I got some Erica Kirk I want to talk about a little bit. But that's what they're doing. The left is doubling down on violence. And you know, this redistricting thing is only going to make things worse. Yo, It's Carrie: Yeah, it is. Okay. Yeah. Todd: You know, I read somewhere, I don't have the clip right in front of me and I don't have the exact numbers. But if both parties, you know, Democrats control some states, Republicans control some states, if both parties went all in and just decided we're going to redistrict as hard as we can, just go to town, do you know what the net result would be? 262 Republican House seats to about 180 Democrats. Yo, It's Carrie: Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Yeah. Todd: Somewhere in that ballpark. That's what I say. Everybody's looking gay now. There's a reason that the Democrats don't want this. Yo, It's Carrie: Let's do it. Let's do it. I don't know. What is it? Yeah, what is that based on? Todd: ⁓ Well, it's based on state legislatures more than anything because state legislatures control the maps and there's far more Republican ⁓ dominated state legislatures across the various states than there are ⁓ Democrat. They're still clustered in urban areas generally. can we, this is a tough tone switch, but I have been wanting to talk about Ben Sasse for a few weeks. Do you know who Ben Sasse is? You don't? Yo, It's Carrie: Okay. I don't think so. Todd: He ⁓ was a former Republican Senator from Nebraska. Yo, It's Carrie: Okay, yeah, no, I haven't followed Nebraska politics very closely. Todd: He was a the never Trumper, and then he left office. He retired from the Senate and became the president of the University of Florida in Gainesville. That's why I thought maybe you would have heard of him. He then, in this past, I think it was beginning of this year, he was diagnosed with stage four advanced pancreatic cancer, which for those of you who don't know, Yo, It's Carrie: Okay. Okay, gotcha. Mm-hmm. ⁓ no. hard to beat. Todd: that's essentially a death sentence. there's some, and he's got the metastases in various parts and whatever. He's also a ⁓ Christian, born again Christian, ⁓ always has been ⁓ very upfront about his faith and everything else. And what he has done since he's been, so obviously he resigned as president of Yo, It's Carrie: You're right. Yeah, if pancreatic cancer gets away from you, it's hard to overcome. Dang. Todd: of the University of Florida because when you get that diagnosis it's probably four to six months, I mean essentially. And he's got young kids, he's got daughters in their twenties who are married and I think he's got a son who's like 14. Yo, It's Carrie: Damn, okay. ⁓ okay. Todd: But he has, he's done various interviews and mind you, we're talking about a guy on Dwindling Time, out there doing these interviews. he has been, listen, he was a Never Trump-er, I didn't agree with him on the Never Trump stuff. He has been so good at facing death with grace and dignity and with faith and- Yo, It's Carrie: Mm-hmm. Todd: There's been multiple times I wanted to get to clips of him on news and it just seems like we go and we go and we go and then we get to the end and we're two hours in and I don't have time. And so, yeah, young guy. I want to play this clip of Ben Sath. I want to give people a feel for the kind of, for the way that somebody of faith can really face death and I think it's just so impressive. So it is a little different than Wolf Blitz or throwing a shoe. Yo, It's Carrie: Okay. He's 54 by the way. Damn. Okay. Okay. Todd: in the face of no danger almost at all but anyway anyway anyway this is someone who's in who's in real Yo, It's Carrie: Mm-hmm. There was gunfire. He was legitimately in danger. Todd: Anyway, this is this is he's staring down Ben's ass is staring down death and I just have been really impressed with him So this is a clip of him in this 60 He had a 60 minutes interview and I would encourage people to watch it. I'll be honest. I haven't watched the whole thing yet I've seen quite a few clips, but Yo, It's Carrie: Yeah, imminent death. Okay. Okay. Todd: I just think it deserves to be heard. That's all. And so let's hear them. Yo, It's Carrie: Okay, cool. All right. Mm. Todd: Whoops, that was a good line. Maverick molecules in the universe. Meaning there are no atoms that can rebel against God successfully for very long. And so I... ⁓ Yo, It's Carrie: There are no what. Wow. Wow. There are no maverick molecules in the universe. Todd: That I think is actually a quote from... What was his name? I just lost it. It may not be a quote, but it's an idea attributed to... ⁓ God, how did I just lose his name? Famous reformed theologian. ⁓ It was John MacArthur and it was... ⁓ RC Sproul, that's who it is. Yes, RC Sproul. Sorry. Yo, It's Carrie: Is it from something? Mm-hmm. ⁓ okay. I'm looking it up here to see. Is it sprawl? RC sprawl? Spruel? Spruel? Todd: I should have known guys. love RC Sproul. have books of his and I lost it. Yo, It's Carrie: So his quote is, if there is one maverick molecule in all the universe, then God is not sovereign. And if God is not sovereign, he is not God, meaning that, you know, obviously he is sovereign over all. That is... Wow. That really is. It's... ⁓ Todd: Mm-hmm. just think it's so powerful, you know, and, was scrolling quick to see if I've got any, I've got a long article ⁓ called by Brent Beshore that's called The Unmistakable Freedom of Ben Sasse. And one of the things he says ⁓ is he says, ⁓ Ben Sasse, former ⁓ senator from Nebraska, former president of the University of Florida, who by any measure, Yo, It's Carrie: Mmm. Todd: had built the kind of life most people spend their whole careers chasing, sat in the most recent interview across from a New York Times columnist and talked about dying. He has stage four pancreatic cancer, has five forms of it, liver, lungs, lymph nodes, vascular system, and the pancreas where it started. He was given three to four months to live. And he was perhaps the freest man I've ever seen. How? I mean, you're dying. Yo, It's Carrie: ⁓ Lord. Todd: Right? You're in the final lap. As a Christian, somebody writes something like that about you. Really, could you ask for anything more? Could you ask for a better legacy than to be face in death and have Him saved as perhaps the freest man I've ever seen. Yo, It's Carrie: No. I hope to God to reach that point. That's incredible. Todd: said he wasn't performing freedom, he wasn't projecting calm. The interviewer, he's talking about an interview he did, Ross Doothat, anyway, broke down crying during the conversation and when he did, Ben Sasse laughed. Not unkindly, but the way a man laughs when the heaviness and the lightness of something are both true at the same time and he's decided not to pretend otherwise. Isn't that good? ⁓ Yo, It's Carrie: Mm-hmm. Wow. It's really good. That's good. Todd: So anyway, I don't feel again like I've, there's other clips of SAS and I've missed tons of them over the course of the last few months. But I didn't want to miss them all. I wanted to put that out there and tell people, listen, if you get a chance, if you see an interview with Ben SAS, it's worth watching. This is someone who's got something to say and what he's telling you is what Yo, It's Carrie: Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Yeah. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Todd: what what a wise man would tell you in some of the final things he has to say some of the final impressions he has to leave Yo, It's Carrie: Mm-hmm. who has a perspective on what's really important in the world and in life. Yeah. Todd: Yeah. Yeah. And so I know that doesn't fit in. It doesn't fit in very well with our funny and everything else. But I just, hadn't gotten to it and I wanted to get to it. And I want people to know, listen, go out there and watch. If you've never paid any attention to Ben Sasse before, now's the time. Pay attention for the next few months and you're gonna watch a man I think die well. Yo, It's Carrie: Mm-hmm. Mmm. Mm-hmm. Wow. Yeah, know what you mean. Wow. Todd: So. It's pretty good, I think. I thought about, I got so many clips. It's just, it's everywhere. How do you come back from that, guys? I don't know. Yo, It's Carrie: It is good. Yeah. You were going to talk about Erica Kirk. Were you going to talk about her at the correspondence dinner? ⁓ OK. OK. Todd: No, I'll tell you what I was going to talk about Erica Kirk. She was at the White House Correspondents Dinner. ⁓ Yo, It's Carrie: Okay, because I saw some pictures of her and I was like, I think that's at the Correspondents Dinner. Todd: She was at the, she got, she got rushed out and then she did an interview and I'm I'm scrolling right now. Hold on guys. This is, this is a good way to, I forgot about this too. Now this is a little funnier. Okay. But don't forget about Ben says, ⁓ here's Erica Kirk. Let's listen to her. Yeah. This is a good one. Sorry, Carrie. I hit it before the other one. ⁓ let's hit, let's hit Erica Kirk. This is her talking. Yo, It's Carrie: Yep. Okay. Okay. It's okay. Todd: I just want to see you think. We've talked about Erica Kirk some. We haven't talked about her a lot. We're not like Candace Owens. We're not building our entire brand on Erica Kirk. But I just want to play this and see what you think. Here is Erica Kirk, widow of Charlie Kirk, as I think the whole world probably knows at this point. Yo, It's Carrie: Mm-hmm. Yep. Yeah. Right. We're not obsessed with her. We've just touched, we've touched on the topic. Okay. We've weighed in, lightly. Mm-hmm. Todd: What do think, Kerry? Yo, It's Carrie: That is, I agree with everything she said. I think. Todd: Excuse me, If only I had a cough button. Yo, It's Carrie: ⁓ yeah, cop. ⁓ Okay, so this comedian... ⁓ no. Todd: dressed up in white face is that what she said Yo, It's Carrie: Yeah, I was trying to figure out who did that. Todd: I, I, I tell you, I look at Erica Kirk. I've talked about how she comes off a little weird sometimes. Yo, It's Carrie: Anyway. Yup. ⁓ huh. Yeah, she does. Todd: I think that Eric Kirk has been, it's either one of two things, either, either the, ⁓ the Candace Owens and everybody else talking, either there's some truth to some of their stuff. I don't mean that Eric Kirk killed her husband, but that whatever was going on in TP USA, they wanted Charlie out and Erica in, and they were worried about some audits or whatever. I don't necessarily buy that, but that's, that's one possibility. Yo, It's Carrie: Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Todd: Or I think this is the other possibility. They thrust Erica into a role that I don't think she should have ever been thrust into. I just don't. And you know what? I'm going to share a graph with you that tells me why I think that they did. Cause this was another thing I was just a little curious about. So I asked Grok this morning. I'm all into graphs lately with Grok. They present real well on air. Yo, It's Carrie: ⁓ my gosh. Is this, I think this is, I think this is the comedian. Todd: What is that? ⁓ doing the white face or whatever. Yo, It's Carrie: Yeah, dressed up as her. Todd: This is TPUSA annual revenue growth in millions. They started in 2013 with Charlie Kirk. Obviously you start with nothing pretty much. And this is their growth. Six years they're up to around 29 million. He built an institution and his institution was centered as much as people like to say it was a revival, it was this, it was whatever. was centered around politics mixed with Christianity. Yo, It's Carrie: Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Yeah. ⁓ Mm-hmm. Todd: But politics was always important. He had, he got lists, he got email lists, he got people that they could get out to vote. That was the whole point. Right? Well, you keep going here all the way up to 2024. You see, they built quite an organization. hit 2022 under Biden, you're at about 81 million, 82 million, 85 million in 2024. Yo, It's Carrie: Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Yeah. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Todd: It's my suspicion that the people at turning point USA thought that they had to have Erica because they couldn't have anybody else that could keep the money train rolling. Like Charlie did. Is that, is that possible? Yo, It's Carrie: I mean, that's possible. think you could say that about any organization or company or anything. Todd: That may not be wrong. I'm not saying that. I don't think Erica Kirk deserves what she's gone through. And I don't believe, and I also don't believe that she should have been placed in a position to take this kind of, had she not immediately taken over as CEO of Turning Point, had she kind of retreated a little bit from public view and maybe come out of some events and whatever. ⁓ Yo, It's Carrie: ⁓ Charlie Kirk deserved better, she deserved better. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Todd: I don't think she would have been subjected to what she has been subjected to, do you? Yo, It's Carrie: I I think that that was one piece of some really bizarre ⁓ behavior and appearances, ⁓ unrelatable reactions and stuff. You know, the fireworks and all that stuff, the pyrotechnics that we joke about. I think it's a variety of factors. Her taking over so quickly and I think enthusiastically, almost like TPUSA should have gone quiet for a little bit, in my opinion. Todd: Yeah. Think so? Yo, It's Carrie: I think she would, I think you're right. She would have done a little bit better, maybe been more well received if she didn't go to work on Monday. You know what I mean? It just kind of felt like she went to work on Monday. Todd: It has seemed to me like Charlie got killed and then immediately the right and TPS USA and all these people decided a revival had taken place and we have to keep this revival going and it can only go through TP USA and that's only going to happen if Erica Kirk has signed up. Because I don't think they thought anybody else could do it and I think they're probably right. I'm not sure. Who else do you have step in? Yo, It's Carrie: Mm-hmm. Yeah. I don't know. mean, he had a whole bunch of great people who I think had already, you were part of that base, that base building. Todd: Too much of it relied on Charlie's personality, I think. And I don't think they thought they could duplicate that very easily. See, with Erica, at least they get all the, they can kind of bottle as much of that sympathy as they think they can. Do you know what I mean? ⁓ Yo, It's Carrie: I mean... Yeah, but a bottle of sympathy, a bottle of sympathy is very different than trying to recapture, you know, recapture some of Charlie's personality because I don't think Erica is very much like him at all. So I think it was, it's kind of, to me, it was a weird, it was a weird transition, much like, and I think it was assuming a lot. And again, we're assuming a lot. We're all, this is pure speculation on our part. Todd: I don't either. mean a week after Charlie's killed or two weeks after they have the memorial and Eric is talking about merch sales. Yo, It's Carrie: Yeah, it's weird. No, it's kind of like, I mean, it was like them throwing, ⁓ I think it was like the Democrat party throwing Kamala Harris out there in front to run for president, assuming that she would be as supported, that she would be as popular, that she would be all those things, fill in the blanks. I think it's the same thing. Todd: That doesn't look good. Whether or not it is good, I don't know. Thank Mm-hmm. That's a good comparison because they assumed that the Democrat machine, because they'd watched it happen with Biden. didn't matter. Biden wasn't a person. He's just a corpse. But they thought if we can prop a corpse up, certainly we can prop a woman of color up. Doesn't matter if has a brain in her head. ⁓ That's what the Democrat party thought. And I think you're right. I think that's an apropos. ⁓ Yo, It's Carrie: Yep. Mm-hmm. No. Holding the auto pen. ⁓ yeah, 100%. She can hold the auto pen just as well. Yeah, exactly. That's what they assumed. And I feel like it's the same. Todd: comparison because I think that TP USA thought the same thing. thought they, I think they believed, and to some extent maybe have been proven true that the brand could hold up Erica Kirk, but that the brand needed Erica in order to remain the brand is what I think they thought. don't know. Listen, we're talking about all this happened within like a week, didn't under two weeks that she became CEO. mean, it so fast. Yo, It's Carrie: It was very, it was very fast. And again, we're speculating, but I think it just made everybody, everybody go, what's happening? Like, like who cares? Who cares about the brand right now? ⁓ Todd: Well, his death is being killed and murdered in cold blood in front of millions of people took Charlie's, I'm going to call it Charlie's brand because I think that's fair for what we're talking about. It took Charlie's brand and it instantly elevated him to near sainthood. think we've, we've made jokes about that. Charlie Kirk Law and Stat. I made jokes. Maybe Carrie didn't. ⁓ Yo, It's Carrie: Mm-hmm. Yeah, sure. Mm-hmm. Yep. Well, I've seen stickers on people's cars about Charlie Kirk and I'm just like, wow, it really did. It really did. mean. Todd: It elevated now that happens when people get killed probably happened Martin Luther King ⁓ But they saw that and they thought the only way to play into that is with Erica nobody else is going to be able to to and and mind you the reasons for doing that are We've got the beginnings of a revival on our hands. This is what God's called you to Eric Erica not Eric ⁓ Yo, It's Carrie: Mm-hmm. Yeah, sorry. Yeah, you know, I think they would have been wiser to, again, to behave normally. Like, you know, you're not going to lose that much momentum. Like, let's be appropriate first. Todd: That's why I keep saying brand because it felt like they saw this. This is going to be, yeah, this is off. I feel bad even saying this, but they looked at the Charlie Kirk murder and thought we can use this. Now I don't think they wanted it. That's not my point. My only point is that they, they're in their mind, all Charlie Kirk, and this might be true. All he cared about was TP USA. Yo, It's Carrie: as an opportunity. Yeah. No, I know what you mean, but it's like... Mm-hmm. Todd: And in Erica's mind, the same thing. And the best thing we can do to honor Charlie is to do the best we can for TP USA. Cause I can see how they got to all those points. You know what I mean? Yo, It's Carrie: Mm-hmm. Sure. It just looks really icky. Todd: It just, put Erica in a position as a lightning rod and listen, I'm not saying that the people who have done it don't deserve blame and I'm not saying that Candace Owens is not like somewhat of a slimeball. I think that she is. I just, I don't think Erica ever had to be put in the position for Candace Owens to build her show off. Conspiracy theories, do know what I mean? Yo, It's Carrie: Mm-hmm. Yeah, it's weird. Right. Right. Mm-hmm. Yeah. Todd: Like could have, but, but if you'd have backed off for a year, like we, like you wanted, or maybe I think should have happened, you lose, you lose the momentum of the revival, the Charlie Kirk revival that's going on. Yo, It's Carrie: Not even a year, a few months. Back off a few months. And I disagree because people are still affected by it. Yeah, that's what they thought. But I think that instead they should have taken a breath, let everybody mourn, keep things going behind the scenes. They should have put together a little kind of like a board. And on that board should have been Erica and these other personalities. Amala, who used to be, don't know if she is anymore, but bring together some of these personalities. Todd: Well, think they thought that, Yeah. Yo, It's Carrie: who were Charlie Kirk adjacent, bring them together kind of like a board and kind of present them as this, as a group leadership scenario, and then let somebody float to the top more organically. It was super weird that they were just like suddenly putting up, you know, new billboard, proverbial billboards of Erica Kirk, Erica Kirk, pyrotechnics. And she's our new, she's the new face of TPUSA. And it just felt very like. It felt very commercial when it shouldn't. And it was, but it, ⁓ was like spelt overnight. Todd: Forced. Yeah. And I don't think it was, I don't know that Erica in the position that she's in of having just had her, celebrity husband murdered in front of the entire world. I'm not sure she's in the best place to make those kinds of decisions. Yo, It's Carrie: Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. No, and I don't think she drove it. I don't think she drove it. Yep. Todd: I mean, you were a widow, no I don't either, but my point is that they're pushing her. You were a widow, you remember everything that happened with Steve, obviously. ⁓ And that doesn't compare to your husband getting shot in front of whole world, right? But still, the space, the shock, everything that it puts you in, to then say two weeks later, listen, why don't you be CEO? That doesn't seem fair to Erica to me, by the people around her. Yo, It's Carrie: ⁓ yeah, no, I mean, it's insane. Mm-hmm. No, it's pretty awful. Todd: And I think they bear some blame for what's happened, I guess is my point. Because they were so concerned about the Charlie Kirk revival and Brandon that, so that then we can keep it rolling and we keep our email list rolling and we got to win the culture. This is a war. This is a culture war. Well, it's a widow with two or three kids, you know? So if she's your best weapon in the culture war, then maybe you're going about this wrong. Yo, It's Carrie: Mm-hmm. I agree. and the millions and the millions that were coming in. Yeah. Yeah. Right. I know. I feel like they kind of lost the humanity. They forgot the humanity of it in their effort to keep it going, I guess. ⁓ Icky. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Yeah, I don't blame her either. I don't think she drove it. Yeah. And she's... Todd: Yeah. So you kind of feel the same way I do about it. That's what I, that's all. Again, I don't blame Erica. This isn't coming out to blame Erica. I think Erica was put in an impossible position and to any, and that light was turned up when she decided to take this mantle on her that she could have taken a year later after she'd gone through the grief workbook. Yo, It's Carrie: Mm-hmm. I know she really needed, she needed that, she needed to get through that workbook before speaking to the masses. Okay. Todd: Listen, you're gonna love this. I don't know if you've seen it. Remember our old buddy Nick, our old buddy Nick Fuentes? This is, this is Nick Fuentes' front door. This was back when he, it was maybe an hour, it was maybe a year, I can't remember when it was. was a little while ago. He got doxed and these people started showing up at his house. And listen, I'm not pro that. This lady, this, Yo, It's Carrie: This doesn't look familiar. Nick Voentis? Is this his ring? Is this Nick Voentis's front door? Really? I was joking. ⁓ shoot. ⁓ no. Todd: I think it's a, a, Lauren told me it some, I think it is. Goes to his house, taking videos of his front door, the whole thing. Let's watch what happens. Yo, It's Carrie: Is that a lady? Okay. ⁓ boy. ⁓ no. What did he spray in her face? ⁓ my god! Todd: pepper spray. Pepper spray, but it didn't seem to work very well, so then he pushes her and breaks her phone. We'll watch it one more time, it's only 15 seconds. So what you're seeing guys is Nick Fuentes pepper sprays this lady whose video in his house, throws them to the ground, breaks her phone, and then goes back inside. Yo, It's Carrie: Can he, okay, can he get in trouble for shoving her to the ground? I'm just curious. Todd: yes there was ⁓ missouri ⁓ misdemeanor battery charges were filed Yo, It's Carrie: Okay, I was going to say I feel like that. ⁓ Todd: What did you think when you watched it? I played it for Nikki and Nikki was like, screw her, deserved it. Now Nikki's from the South. I'd love to say, in my opinion, I used to say Nikki was doing it, and I wouldn't want somebody pepper spraying me. Yo, It's Carrie: Go, Nikki! Nikki's usually like... Nikki's usually like a little like gentler than you, like nonviolent. Ooh, this is a hot button for her. ⁓ my gosh. Well, I'm glad you gave a little context, because I would have seen that and been like, Nick, what the F? Like, what's happening here? But okay, but you're saying that he was doxxed, so people are showing up at his home. Mm-hmm. I mean. Todd: She was all for it. She loved it. What'd you think? So he's frustrated, super frustrated. I can't blame him for that at all. It'd be so annoying. People have no, you know what I mean? Yo, It's Carrie: If he has a ring camera, I think he should have said, get the F off my property, or I'm gonna pepper spray you. And then I think then if she had, like, I don't understand. And she was like, what are you doing? Like she almost sounded excited to see him. Is she a fan? Todd: She seemed insane. thought, did you think she seemed insane? Yo, It's Carrie: She sounded excited. Todd: I feel like a person who comes to your house because they know that you're doxed and you're like something of a celebrity. They're pretty insane. Yo, It's Carrie: Yeah, mean, yes, indeed. Yes, I agree with that. But at the same time, it's like, don't know if she seemed, I don't know if she appeared dangerous, but you know what? I'm sure if you've got people showing up and at your house, ⁓ yeah, you'd get to a point where, but I think I'd have a big sign on my front door or I'd be speaking to them through the ring and saying, get the F off my property. Todd: Maybe dangerous. He just threw her down. He was like, boom, see ya. Yo, It's Carrie: Boom. So is he in trouble? Todd: Well, he was. That's I was looking for the here we are. Here's Nick's response. Yes, I've got Nick's response. Don't you worry. ⁓ I was looking for it because you know, X bookmarks. can't organize them at all guys. just. Yo, It's Carrie: Okay, good. was gonna say do we have more on this? All right It's okay. You do great. Todd, what's your, what are your opinions on the doxing ⁓ method? You know, this doxing offense. Yeah. Todd: I think it's horrible. don't think that you should be doxing people, putting their address out, putting any of that out. I don't think, just because somebody puts a video, just because I put a video on the internet doesn't mean I want you at my house on my front door. Yo, It's Carrie: Yeah. Right. if you disagree with us, it doesn't mean that you have the right to show up and argue with us. Todd: But also, I don't think that you're allowed to... Well, I don't know. You can't, again, anybody can knock on your front door for any reason. Just go on pepper spray him. I understand the frustration, but you can't. That's not, that's against the law. Now let's hear what Nick has to say. Kind of a big response. But you don't know how many others he had the same day. So listen, I have a little gray, so I do think it's BS. Yo, It's Carrie: It seemed like a pretty strong, like no warning reaction, but again, I don't know. Right, right. This is his response. Okay. Todd: And we're on our way. Somebody's probably on their way to carousels right now. In the rain. Yo, It's Carrie: In the rain. In the rain. Coming to the door. I've got boys. That's alright. We're ⁓ I've got boys. We're armed. We're ready to go. Todd: You got boys. Yeah, bring it bitch. All right. Here's Nick. Yo, It's Carrie: I guess. You know, I mean, okay. Todd: Earmuffs guys. You ⁓ I didn't mean to do that. ⁓ I did get it. Nevermind. Yo, It's Carrie: ⁓ my gosh ⁓ Okay. So basically he's just laughing it off. like I'm ready for the next one is basically what he's saying. Yeah. The response, it's pretty funny. ⁓ did you hear Trump's response to the question about the bulletproof vest? Todd: Yeah, I like, I like the response. have to say it makes me laugh. ⁓ yeah, where he said, I don't know if I can afford to look 20 pounds heavier. Yo, It's Carrie: I thought that I was like, Todd is gonna love that so much. Todd: I did love that. should have played the clip, but you know what? sometimes when I feel like they're widely disseminated, I don't always, you know, play all the clips, Yo, It's Carrie: It's pretty funny. Yeah, sure. I thought that was really cute. The other thing, sorry, real quick. The other thing about Trump I want to see was, was the bee, did you see the bee landing in Trump's hand? ⁓ okay. So he was, I'll describe it. So I think it was when it was out outside and Melania was there right next to him and King Charles was there. So it was, this is this week. Todd: No, go with it. I want to hear what you think about. No, I did not see that. You gotta describe it for the audience. ⁓ okay. Yo, It's Carrie: and he's outside and I don't know how it happened, but I saw the picture Trump's standing there with his hand like this and they're all looking and there's a bee that has landed on his hand. ⁓ and the responses are awesome. Everyone's like, you know, the bees know, like they know who to trust. you know, but it was just, it was great. All the Trump love as a result of him and Melania looks so concerned. Everyone's like, she's so worried about him. And, and there was like, he's not afraid of anything. Todd: Really? Did Melania have the glow of an widow? Did you hear about that from Jimmy Kimmel? She went after him. Yo, It's Carrie: ⁓ my gosh. I wish they'd, did she? I wish they'd fire his ass. What did she say? ⁓ wait, you know what? did hear some of hers. Todd: She said it was just, you know, see what you'd expect. This is, it's just, you're causing, you know, violence. There's an epidemic of violence and, and celebrities are out here encouraging it and whatever. So. Yo, It's Carrie: Yeah. His whole claim, Jimmy Kimmel's claim that this was all about, ⁓ that he's so much older than her. It's like, dude, yeah. ⁓ yeah. He claims that the joke and that he's like, everyone knows like he's so much older than her. That's what he was saying. Well, there were comedians coming out, comedians coming out and saying, listen, you've got to set up the joke. Todd: ⁓ is that what he was said he was talking about? I didn't hear that. Yeah. Yo, It's Carrie: If you have to explain what the joke was, you didn't see Todd: and her husband used to run a comedy club so Carrie speaks from experience. No, I'm serious! Like, she's been to a lot of comedy shows, knows a lot of comics! Yo, It's Carrie: I do. I'm speaking. No, I do. I know a lot of comics and I've watched the comedian, ⁓ the comedians, the groups of them, the industry reacting to Jimmy Kimmel. Because I was curious because I'm like, ⁓ I don't, I hated what he said, but I'm a Trump fan. So was like trying to step outside of my bias. And I was trying to figure out, is this just a joke that was that Todd: Yeah. Yo, It's Carrie: made me uncomfortable because I like Trump or is it inappropriate? It's comedy. So I really was trying to be objective about it. Comedians were talking about comedy 101. Stand up 101. You have to set up the joke. If you are making a joke about the age difference, then you're going to have discussed that sometime previously, like earlier in your set. it's setting up the joke. said, if you have to come out and apologize and explain the joke later, then you didn't set up the joke and that's not what you were trying to say. And they were all saying that he just, obviously it's a cover up and a lie and he's an idiot. he is. I don't either, but I wish they'd fire his ass. He's becoming like the view. I just wish they'd end it. Just end it. Todd: such a moron. I don't even care about Kimmel. That's why I don't have any clips of it because You know what? If you're watching ABC, you get what you pay for. I just don't. It's just, it's all rock gut. It's just all so dumb. Yo, It's Carrie: Hahaha! Yeah. Yeah.
