- 1:55Speaker 1: Come come on your back, Uh huh, I sure will.
- 2:03Speaker 1: Good morning everybody, y'all listen to the voice. Come on
- 2:06Speaker 1: dig me now. One and only Steve Harby Man got
- 2:10Speaker 1: a radio show. M Yeah, I do. Man. God been
- 2:16Speaker 1: so good to me over the years, in spite of
- 2:19Speaker 1: all the mistakes I've made, in spite of all the
- 2:22Speaker 1: dirt I've done to myself. I'm talking about when, in
- 2:27Speaker 1: knowing I was wrong, His grace and mercy has forgiven
- 2:33Speaker 1: me for all of my sins, all of them. God
- 2:38Speaker 1: can forgive you of all of your sins, everything you've done.
- 2:43Speaker 1: God can forgive you. He can wipe your slate clean.
- 2:48Speaker 1: Now that might you might have some you know, things
- 2:51Speaker 1: you got to deal with because of some of your actions.
- 2:54Speaker 1: Understand that. But you can wipe your slates. You can
- 2:57Speaker 1: wipe your slate clean with God and start again. You
- 3:00Speaker 1: can repent. God has mercy and grace. You could be
- 3:04Speaker 1: forgiven by God. Now, people answer another story. Some people
- 3:08Speaker 1: may never forgive you, for you've heard them all, or
- 3:11Speaker 1: maybe they're accusing you of doing something else. But you
- 3:14Speaker 1: know they may never forgive you. But God, God is
- 3:17Speaker 1: in the redemption business man. God will forgive you for
- 3:21Speaker 1: every sin you've ever committed. But you gotta want forgiveness now.
- 3:26Speaker 1: And then you got to come correct because what you
- 3:28Speaker 1: can't do is you can't shoot him the crap. Now
- 3:31Speaker 1: you can say that conversation with him. You know what,
- 3:34Speaker 1: whatever you told your lawyer, whatever, whatever you told the victims,
- 3:40Speaker 1: whatever you told whatever the story is, you got going
- 3:44Speaker 1: if it ain't the truth, you could say that with God,
- 3:47Speaker 1: because please know, he know, and he know your heart.
- 3:50Speaker 1: He know if you're trying to manipulate somebody just for
- 3:53Speaker 1: the system, if you're trying to say this just so
- 3:56Speaker 1: you can get out, you know all of that. So
- 3:58Speaker 1: if you're planning on shucking him and having it, save
- 4:01Speaker 1: your breath, before you wind up digging yourself in a
- 4:03Speaker 1: deeper hole. Just just let me give you that piece
- 4:06Speaker 1: of advice. Because he has nothing to play with. He's
- 4:09Speaker 1: too great to be played with. And so with that
- 4:12Speaker 1: in mind, I want to share some positive stuff with
- 4:14Speaker 1: you this morning. Man. I want to say this now.
- 4:17Speaker 1: I want to remind you not to let your circumstance
- 4:20Speaker 1: and your situations did dictate your future or your results.
- 4:26Speaker 1: I'm gonna say this again. This is important information. Man.
- 4:31Speaker 1: Don't let your circumstance and situations dictate your future or
- 4:36Speaker 1: your results. Do you know that in order to get
- 4:41Speaker 1: a different future or some different results, you control that
- 4:46Speaker 1: entire situation. It is you, It is your thoughts that
- 4:50Speaker 1: control the entire situation. It is how you look at
- 4:53Speaker 1: the situation that will determine how the situation is for you. See,
- 4:59Speaker 1: the same situation can be totally different for two different
- 5:02Speaker 1: people because you can say you look at the examples
- 5:05Speaker 1: of history, just just look look in your neighborhood. How
- 5:08Speaker 1: can There was a book that a guy wrote one
- 5:10Speaker 1: time who had the name. He had a name, and
- 5:14Speaker 1: he did some research and he found a guy that
- 5:16Speaker 1: grew up at the same age in the same neighborhood
- 5:20Speaker 1: as him, with the exact same name. He went on
- 5:24Speaker 1: to become a corporate CEO. The other man was uh
- 5:29Speaker 1: uh an inmate, and they had the same name, grew
- 5:33Speaker 1: up in the same neighborhood. They were both brothers, you
- 5:38Speaker 1: know not, I'm just saying brothers men. And and they
- 5:42Speaker 1: grew and they went to different Because how can two
- 5:44Speaker 1: different two people the same situation and the results turn
- 5:48Speaker 1: out so different. It is because of the thought process
- 5:51Speaker 1: of one was completely different from the thought process of
- 5:54Speaker 1: the other. You control it. You don't have to let
- 5:57Speaker 1: your circumstances and your situations dictate your future or your results.
- 6:03Speaker 1: Here's the way it works. This is so you can
- 6:06Speaker 1: understand this. Your mind. It's the controlling factor of your thoughts.
- 6:12Speaker 1: Your thoughts are the controlling factor of your outcome. The
- 6:17Speaker 1: Bible says a man is as he thinketh. Please don't
- 6:21Speaker 1: short play this scripture here, because this one is the
- 6:24Speaker 1: real deal. This is the basis of every self improvement
- 6:30Speaker 1: book you'll ever read. It's already written in the Bible.
- 6:33Speaker 1: The Bible has all the information you need. But in
- 6:36Speaker 1: case you need a little bit of clarity in some
- 6:38Speaker 1: simple modern day language, then they have self improvement books.
- 6:42Speaker 1: They are all based on Biblical scripture. A man is
- 6:45Speaker 1: as he thinketh. That's why Norman Vincent Peale wrote the
- 6:48Speaker 1: book The Power of Positive Thinking. That's why a book
- 6:52Speaker 1: came out called The Magic of Thinking Big. That's why
- 6:56Speaker 1: a book came out called Think and Grow Rich by
- 6:58Speaker 1: Napoleon Hell. All of you. All these titles that I've
- 7:02Speaker 1: read that have mattered in my life the most, These
- 7:05Speaker 1: three major books that I've read, they all say one thing.
- 7:08Speaker 1: Think thinking thoughts, because that's what controls the outcome. Your
- 7:14Speaker 1: brain works one of two ways. It works positive or negative.
- 7:24Speaker 1: It works good, which is under the column of positive,
- 7:28Speaker 1: or the work evil, which is under the column of negative.
- 7:31Speaker 1: It will have faith, which is under the column of positive,
- 7:36Speaker 1: or you will operate in fear, which is in the
- 7:39Speaker 1: column of negative. That is the only way your mind works.
- 7:43Speaker 1: Your mind is a factory that's comprised of workers. Those
- 7:49Speaker 1: workers are controlled by two formings, forming positive and forming negative.
- 7:55Speaker 1: But guess what the CEO of the company, the headman,
- 7:59Speaker 1: the ball boss is you. You come to work in
- 8:03Speaker 1: the morning and you say, man, today is a great day.
- 8:07Speaker 1: I'm going to take steps towards brightening my future. I'm
- 8:11Speaker 1: going to take another step into making that dream come
- 8:14Speaker 1: true that I've been thinking about. I'm gonna take another
- 8:17Speaker 1: step forward in the development and the changing of my
- 8:21Speaker 1: life in a positive, good direction. If you come to
- 8:24Speaker 1: work and say that every day as the CEO, the boss,
- 8:28Speaker 1: the foremans can only obey you, so that what you
- 8:32Speaker 1: just said was a series of positive statements, then forming
- 8:35Speaker 1: positive steps to the forefront. He said, I got your
- 8:38Speaker 1: boss right away. He turns around, he blows the whistle.
- 8:43Speaker 1: He alerts all the workers in the factory. Today is
- 8:46Speaker 1: a good day. Today we will take steps towards our future.
- 8:49Speaker 1: Today we are putting ourselves on track to get a
- 8:52Speaker 1: little bit closer to making our dreams come true. Today
- 8:56Speaker 1: we will be assembling all the things we need to
- 8:59Speaker 1: make got dreams come true in our life better in
- 9:02Speaker 1: the right direction. Everybody break. The workers in the factory
- 9:06Speaker 1: turn around and manufacture thoughts to justify the orders given
- 9:13Speaker 1: by the boss, which is you. You are the CEO
- 9:17Speaker 1: of your corporation. If you don't own nothing else, you
- 9:21Speaker 1: own everything that's going on between your two ears. You
- 9:25Speaker 1: are the CEO of that corporation. If that corporation is
- 9:28Speaker 1: a good one, it's because you set it up that way.
- 9:31Speaker 1: If your corporation is a bad one, it's because you
- 9:34Speaker 1: set it up that day. If you try, and if
- 9:36Speaker 1: you pushing towards your dreams and you see the possibility
- 9:40Speaker 1: of things happening in your life, is because you, as
- 9:42Speaker 1: the CEO, set it up that way. If you ain't
- 9:44Speaker 1: got nothing popping, if you just want to be a
- 9:47Speaker 1: criminal taking stuff from people, throwing your life out the window,
- 9:50Speaker 1: you're gonna be an inmate. You're gonna be sitting there
- 9:52Speaker 1: there and you're gonna be mad at everybody. You got
- 9:53Speaker 1: nobody be mad at. But shoot, you understand what I'm
- 9:57Speaker 1: telling you this morning. This is the way it is.
- 10:00Speaker 1: The Bible says a man is as he thinketh. You
- 10:04Speaker 1: are the CEO of a corporation. You can make it
- 10:07Speaker 1: happen good, or you can make it happen evil. You
- 10:10Speaker 1: can make it happen possible or positive, or you can
- 10:13Speaker 1: make it happen negative. You can live a life feel
- 10:16Speaker 1: with faith, or you can live your life and feel.
- 10:19Speaker 1: You have to make the decision this morning, but you
- 10:21Speaker 1: can turn your corporation around today. All you got to
- 10:25Speaker 1: do is start today. Change the way you think a
- 10:29Speaker 1: man is as he thinketh Man. God wants you to
- 10:32Speaker 1: know that because God wants you to put positive thoughts
- 10:35Speaker 1: in your mind, because God wants you to do better,
- 10:38Speaker 1: be better, have more, and be more. God loves you, man,
- 10:43Speaker 1: and there is not a whole lot you can do
- 10:45Speaker 1: about that. God gonna love you. If you do dirt.
- 10:49Speaker 1: God gonna love you if you do good. Might as
- 10:51Speaker 1: well do good and see what God can bless you with. Man,
- 10:54Speaker 1: How about that this morning, y'all. Huh, you're listening to show.

- 12:52Speaker 1: might do? Man? I might let's just talk about this work.
- 12:57Speaker 1: I might maybe once a twice a week calling really
- 13:04Speaker 1: and and throw a pitch you up on social media. Yeah,
- 13:08Speaker 1: that would be great. That's fantastic line. I'm telling enough.
- 13:15Speaker 1: I'm well, I said, now I did, like, let's just
- 13:22Speaker 1: talk about it and see if it makes sense. It
- 13:26Speaker 1: might not make sense, you know, and if it don't
- 13:29Speaker 1: make sense, I don't think we should do it. I
- 13:33Speaker 1: really don't. If the calves are still playing and they win, yeah,
- 13:40Speaker 1: I gotta we got the whole way to go. What
- 13:43Speaker 1: are you doing this ship? Man? Same place? That's when
- 13:46Speaker 1: you pull up your yacht and Denzel pull up here
- 13:49Speaker 1: and then here comes Sandel Jackson with here and didn't
- 13:51Speaker 1: come here come magically everybody you just ask me, just
- 13:58Speaker 1: said I was going just over week. Don't good Black
- 14:11Speaker 1: Yacht week? Good Black Yacht week? Baby? All right, well listen, uh,
- 14:20Speaker 1: we kind of teased on it a little bit, but
- 14:22Speaker 1: Lebron James Game one short Suit set the whole short
- 14:27Speaker 1: situation he had going on. It costs forty six thousand dollars.
- 14:31Speaker 1: The guys are going to talk about it inside something Funny.
- 14:35Speaker 1: We get back at thirty two after the hour. Right
- 14:42Speaker 1: right after this, you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 14:47Speaker 1: It is time for something funny, guys. Okay, last night
- 14:51Speaker 1: was Game two of the NBA Finals Finals, the Calves
- 14:54Speaker 1: versus the Warriors. Of course, but Lebron James infamous Game
- 14:58Speaker 1: one short suit, that whole ensemble. We've we learned that
- 15:03Speaker 1: it costs forty six thousand dollars. Yeah, yeah, everything. You
- 15:07Speaker 1: guys remember when Lebron got mad at the press conference
- 15:10Speaker 1: when one reporter asked him about j R. Smith's fiasco
- 15:14Speaker 1: and Lebron they just kept asking him and asking him
- 15:17Speaker 1: quite a mind. Yeah, you know, Lebron just got up
- 15:21Speaker 1: grabbed his man bag. That's yeah, like Cheryl Underwood, he
- 15:30Speaker 1: just stormed out of the press conference. He left like
- 15:32Speaker 1: pastor trip. But did he have it under his reassured
- 15:36Speaker 1: that it was was it? Did he grab it with
- 15:40Speaker 1: his hand? It wasn't only his risk and I wasn't
- 15:43Speaker 1: walking out. He grabbed it manly. Yeah, but I'm gonna
- 15:48Speaker 1: have to respectfully disagree with the all of what's going on.
- 15:56Speaker 1: I thought it was straight g You know, I don't
- 15:59Speaker 1: have the legs for them shot. And it's an age
- 16:03Speaker 1: limit to that too. I think he's right at the
- 16:06Speaker 1: cusp before he's allowed to do that. Two more years,
- 16:10Speaker 1: Bran will be able to do that. I thought the
- 16:12Speaker 1: outfit would pimping the bag with Gangster the forty six thousands.
- 16:17Speaker 1: I don't know where y'all got that phone, but that
- 16:19Speaker 1: would be the band, I assume. Then the bag straight Gator, Okay,
- 16:29Speaker 1: that don't look like I think the bottom part of
- 16:31Speaker 1: those pants was in that bag. Sea the tailor. You know,
- 16:39Speaker 1: if you're looking for real, for real, then rock the
- 16:41Speaker 1: couple of bags. I've seen a couple of people rock
- 16:45Speaker 1: airmen's bags. I thought about it, but I only saw
- 16:49Speaker 1: one that I liked, but I probably wouldn't. I wouldn't
- 16:52Speaker 1: do that because my girl wears on the line, so
- 16:55Speaker 1: I wouldn't do in their men's bag. But that's not
- 16:58Speaker 1: necessarily airmen bag. It could have been something else too though,
- 17:02Speaker 1: but it was actually definitely a Gator bag. Okay, Now
- 17:08Speaker 1: here's the question who on the show amongst the guys
- 17:12Speaker 1: would wear this outfit? Who you think? Jay? So you
- 17:22Speaker 1: gotta go to to Steve Harvey FM on all social media,
- 17:26Speaker 1: Okay and see our very own j Anthony Brown. He
- 17:30Speaker 1: is rocking the same exact suit as Lebron. How do
- 17:33Speaker 1: you feel about you got the labron? They feel about
- 17:39Speaker 1: what I'm let me look at your describing for Steve here. First,
- 17:45Speaker 1: I want you to know that j Anthony Brown, he's
- 17:48Speaker 1: a fool for him to even do it. First of all,
- 17:52Speaker 1: he put on the jacket to tie, he got a bag,
- 17:55Speaker 1: He got the short so, he got the shoe boots,
- 17:58Speaker 1: he got the glass. The bag is not the same
- 18:03Speaker 1: one Lebron head and I think it's Lebron soup Jay,
- 18:10Speaker 1: buton took two people to button it. One person was
- 18:14Speaker 1: hugging in the clothes to jack and make it touch
- 18:18Speaker 1: and the other person got it button right after this though,
- 18:23Speaker 1: right after this, I can assure you something wrong that well,
- 18:30Speaker 1: I'm telling you that button looks like they could pop
- 18:33Speaker 1: off and kill something. Did pop out? Man, that button
- 18:36Speaker 1: hit my window, my bedroom window. Crack. That button fired off. Okay,
- 18:45Speaker 1: let the shot done. That's dangerous. So let's break it down. Okay.
- 18:50Speaker 1: So it's a Tom Brown New York suit. That's what
- 18:53Speaker 1: it was that lebron had on. Uh, tying handkerchief. Tying
- 18:58Speaker 1: handkerchief were a little more than hundred dollars. The shirt
- 19:02Speaker 1: was in handkerchief, and the suit and the suit. Okay, yeah,
- 19:07Speaker 1: the shirt was just over three hundred. The shorts came
- 19:11Speaker 1: in at under a thousand, So I thought, sure, you
- 19:16Speaker 1: described me. I don't understand. Okay, the Tom Brown New
- 19:19Speaker 1: York suit and handkerchief and the suit and the suit
- 19:24Speaker 1: to the suit tie and handkerchief. You mean the shorts
- 19:28Speaker 1: the jack at the tie. So then it says the
- 19:35Speaker 1: shorts came in at under a thousand dollars, so that
- 19:37Speaker 1: was extra. The boots and the socks were thirteen eighty.
- 19:41Speaker 1: The boots and the socks with eight. So people are
- 19:44Speaker 1: asking what costs so much? Obviously it was the bag
- 19:46Speaker 1: and it's made of it was alligator. Yeah, so that's
- 19:50Speaker 1: what costs so much. I achieved that name looks for
- 19:53Speaker 1: eleven dollars. Jays looked for less. Jay's dress for less,
- 20:00Speaker 1: so go So where did they go? Steve Harvey Film. Yes,
- 20:03Speaker 1: Steve Harvey FM. Go to Steve Harvey Film right now
- 20:06Speaker 1: and you can see your comparison to Jay's outfit and
- 20:10Speaker 1: lebronze outfit. And the question is, yeah, who rocked it best?
- 20:23Speaker 1: For eleven dollars? He don't want but it's the way
- 20:28Speaker 1: you're walking to Jay much attitude. But Steve, what's going
- 20:33Speaker 1: on with that tie? J Anthony Brown is wearing. That's
- 20:37Speaker 1: too much. But there ain't too much tie. It's just
- 20:41Speaker 1: too much of him show. It's just ya button man,
- 20:50Speaker 1: that button right up under his breathbone in his shoes.
- 20:55Speaker 1: Real careful, it's not the same quality. We all woke
- 21:05Speaker 1: up to this this morning. Jay Jay blessed us with
- 21:08Speaker 1: that text with your knees, Jack, it was a non
- 21:14Speaker 1: lotion day. Again, like Steve said, go to Steve Harvey
- 21:18Speaker 1: FM and also social media and let us know what
- 21:22Speaker 1: you think the word best yell Lebron killed me. Definitely
- 21:32Speaker 1: some player action. Would you wear it, Steve, would you
- 21:36Speaker 1: wear it? Oh no, no, no no no, oh definitely not. Okay,
- 21:41Speaker 1: now you sixty, don't. There's a lot of stuff you
- 21:44Speaker 1: can a lot of stuff I like, I can't go
- 21:47Speaker 1: and do it. Six yeah, I believe in age of
- 21:49Speaker 1: purpose to al right. Coming up next is church complaints
- 21:53Speaker 1: with Reverend Motown and Deacon deaf Jam. You're listening to
- 21:57Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Coming up at the top
- 22:00Speaker 1: of the hour, Guys, we'll talk about Buffalo Wild Wings
- 22:03Speaker 1: and their wild apology about that wild statements. Uh, their
- 22:08Speaker 1: Twitter page was hacked. Tweets contained racists and vulgar comments,
- 22:12Speaker 1: including the N word. Guys. We'll talk about all of
- 22:14Speaker 1: that at the top of the hour, but right now
- 22:17Speaker 1: it is time for church complaints with deacon and the
- 22:20Speaker 1: PASTA yea most giving, allowable, gracious fault. Yes we is
- 22:40Speaker 1: momentarily staggered, Bio Louis, Yes we are. And Austen tentatiously waitnute,
- 22:53Speaker 1: I said, Austar pentatiously done with it, Ar, I gotta
- 23:00Speaker 1: look are about to deal with my congregation h of
- 23:07Speaker 1: Waywood individuals who have not learned too, you know, be grateful.
- 23:18Speaker 1: Dz is Church completes. Amen, Amen, Amen, path to getting started.
- 23:25Speaker 1: This morning, we are doing a culture flip flop this summer.
- 23:31Speaker 1: All the white members children would be staying with black
- 23:34Speaker 1: families and the black kids with white families. The big
- 23:38Speaker 1: issue is the white kids are complaining that there's no
- 23:41Speaker 1: vacation in the schedule with the black families. What well,
- 23:50Speaker 1: we had that same problem when we did exchange of
- 23:56Speaker 1: student program or with some foreigners. Um, we need to
- 24:06Speaker 1: just notify the white parents other white kids than black
- 24:09Speaker 1: folks can't just go off and leave their job for
- 24:13Speaker 1: vacations every year. So if you're on an off year,
- 24:18Speaker 1: then your asks don't get to go. The white kids
- 24:22Speaker 1: probably stay at the black folk house on the off year.
- 24:26Speaker 1: She we go every other year, I know it. And
- 24:30Speaker 1: this is one of the others taking the black kids
- 24:34Speaker 1: to the beach and they well, the black kids is
- 24:39Speaker 1: joeing that and it's wonderful, But you're gonna have to
- 24:43Speaker 1: watch him because you've got to teach hald for mon
- 24:45Speaker 1: as will she. Because there are some things that we
- 24:52Speaker 1: most things uh, black folks don't do. Start with an S.
- 24:58Speaker 1: We don't swell. We don't ski or we don't sky dive.
- 25:04Speaker 1: We don't snogle real good, just a host of sport yo,
- 25:14Speaker 1: anything that got an S on it. We don't do
- 25:16Speaker 1: well swimming, skiing, snarkland, sky diving. Yeah you understand, Yeah,
- 25:25Speaker 1: I got you. Go ahead. We have a situation here.
- 25:31Speaker 1: We need you to have a conversation which our sister
- 25:34Speaker 1: to render Hernandez. Render Hernanda as you know her. She's
- 25:39Speaker 1: married to Miguel here the Spanish beacon. At the potluck Saturdays,
- 25:45Speaker 1: she brought lapeno kool aid and all the kids were
- 25:48Speaker 1: on fire. You're gonna have to talk to him. We
- 25:52Speaker 1: have told the Hernandez family once again to ease up
- 25:56Speaker 1: on the spices. They ruined the Easter egg hunt for
- 26:00Speaker 1: the kids the same way. All the eggs had been
- 26:04Speaker 1: injected with hallerpeen and I got hold of three of
- 26:10Speaker 1: myself and next thing out the old lord. So we
- 26:14Speaker 1: need to talk to the Nanda and Feminine. Also stop
- 26:19Speaker 1: trying to work with us. Just serve your dishes, uh huh.
- 26:25Speaker 1: Please stop hiding our food in burrito. We like our
- 26:31Speaker 1: food out on the plate where we could see it.
- 26:33Speaker 1: Inspect and examineing pick through it in the open. That's
- 26:36Speaker 1: right now. A pastor, Deacon one arm Oscar Jenkins is
- 26:44Speaker 1: upset that none of the men will allow him to
- 26:46Speaker 1: play on their team at the church and you're a
- 26:49Speaker 1: golf tournament. He wants you to force them and let
- 26:52Speaker 1: him play. Once again, that's Deacon one arm Oscar Jenkins.
- 26:56Speaker 1: I'm not going Oscar, Oscarol, We're not gonna lie to
- 27:05Speaker 1: you because your grip on the on your one arm
- 27:08Speaker 1: is the grip. You got it in good. Now you
- 27:10Speaker 1: can throw that club at six people. Anybody gonna be
- 27:15Speaker 1: being over putting the ball on the teeth for you
- 27:17Speaker 1: every time you need health care your bag. I'dn't told
- 27:24Speaker 1: you to get your boy to come out and carry
- 27:26Speaker 1: for you, but he don't want to eat. So no, brother, Oscar,
- 27:30Speaker 1: we will not allow you to be in the church
- 27:32Speaker 1: golf tournament with the arm. And why don't you take
- 27:37Speaker 1: golf lessons? I don't know nobody teaching one arm. People
- 27:42Speaker 1: pamp well until we find someone, look like Oscar won't
- 27:47Speaker 1: be playing in the annual church golf tournament. Yeah, I
- 27:51Speaker 1: tell Oscar, the start with the bowling team would probably
- 27:54Speaker 1: be better friends. No, because when you're standing there with
- 27:58Speaker 1: that are with that ball in one hand, it just
- 28:00Speaker 1: looked danger. Just look damn danger hard to hold that ball.
- 28:08Speaker 1: Look at them pins with that one on the ball,
- 28:10Speaker 1: twelve per Uh. We have a major situation past. I
- 28:17Speaker 1: want you to stop this before it gets out of hand.
- 28:19Speaker 1: This past Sunday, sister Doris Dixon used duck and pigeon
- 28:24Speaker 1: eggs after we ran out of chicken eggs for breakfast.
- 28:29Speaker 1: Sister Faith baptiste Is started talking about it, whipping her
- 28:33Speaker 1: behind as soon as she lay eyes on her. But
- 28:35Speaker 1: she gonna have to stop doing this bad. This is
- 28:37Speaker 1: the second or third time she didn't Uh supplemented chicken
- 28:41Speaker 1: eggs for the breakfast and she used duck and pigeon
- 28:45Speaker 1: eggs instead. I knew it had till kind of gaming
- 28:49Speaker 1: taste to it. I wouldn't sure what it was. I
- 28:52Speaker 1: thought it was some other type of seasoning. But pigeon
- 28:56Speaker 1: eggs is trifling. I had in. She tried to combine
- 29:01Speaker 1: it with vegan sausage. I damned their throat up. So
- 29:07Speaker 1: I'll speak with her about using other eggs or with
- 29:11Speaker 1: chicken eggs is nice economically cheap enough, I don't know
- 29:15Speaker 1: how we keep running out of eggs, but pigeon and
- 29:18Speaker 1: dove eggs ain't gonna work up. I had a queer
- 29:22Speaker 1: eggs sandwich one time, had thirty two eggs on that side.
- 29:29Speaker 1: Oh boy, I should have been him out of time.
- 29:33Speaker 1: Two queer eggs and teachable. Last, but not least, past
- 29:40Speaker 1: to the annual weed drive with just paying Saturday. The
- 29:43Speaker 1: ladies are asking that you speak with brother Titus Jackson.
- 29:47Speaker 1: He prachaes n of the wigs due to his alopecia
- 29:51Speaker 1: on his head, and they didn't get a chance to
- 29:54Speaker 1: buy any of the wigs. He got. He bought the
- 29:56Speaker 1: gray wigs, the red wigs, the blond wigs, and the
- 29:59Speaker 1: black wigs. He got, well, he bought them because what's
- 30:02Speaker 1: brother what's her name? That's Titus. Brother Titus came to
- 30:07Speaker 1: me and he's forming a new gospel group at the church,
- 30:11Speaker 1: all men um and the name of the groups is
- 30:16Speaker 1: the Lord Saved Pimps too, and all the men when
- 30:20Speaker 1: the women wigs to show how they was back in
- 30:24Speaker 1: the day. So I've allowed him to purchase the wigs again,
- 30:32Speaker 1: God Save pimps too. It's the initials is GSP. All right,
- 30:44Speaker 1: we'll be back with more of the Steve Harvey Morning
- 30:46Speaker 1: Show right after this. You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning
- 30:51Speaker 1: Show coming up in twenty minutes. Our friend and family member.
- 30:56Speaker 1: We haven't heard from him in a while, Stephen A.
- 30:58Speaker 1: Smith to be our special guest. Yes he does. He's
- 31:02Speaker 1: gonna talk, of course, about the NBA Finals. What what Tommy,
- 31:06Speaker 1: what were you gonna say? No? Okay, but first, Carla,

- 31:20Speaker 1: Carlo but here okay, well, Wild Wings you can feel
- 31:24Speaker 1: this then, Wild Wings Wild Wings. Buffalo Wild Wings said
- 31:28Speaker 1: their Twitter page was hacked to the sports bar franchise
- 31:31Speaker 1: officially Twitter official twitter page fired off several racist and
- 31:36Speaker 1: vulgar tweets on Friday night, which were up and posted
- 31:39Speaker 1: for about twenty minutes before someone realized and took them down,
- 31:44Speaker 1: got them deleted. One tweet said, effing Inward, I hate them, okay.
- 31:52Speaker 1: Buffalo Wild Wings released a statement saying We're sorry that
- 31:55Speaker 1: our fans had to see those awful posts that you
- 31:58Speaker 1: are but which I've lee did not come from us.
- 32:01Speaker 1: We are in touch with our Twitter representatives and will
- 32:04Speaker 1: pursue the appropriate action against the individuals involved. So they
- 32:08Speaker 1: know who did it. Yeah, so it said one just
- 32:13Speaker 1: one tweet said effing in word, I hate them. If
- 32:18Speaker 1: somebody waiting on an online order, what say, yeah, say
- 32:26Speaker 1: it against it. I can tweet that I hate their
- 32:29Speaker 1: wings because I'm with you. I know they're so small,
- 32:34Speaker 1: They're like pigeon wings. Yeah, are you guys? You guys
- 32:37Speaker 1: are taking this person? No, we are because I love
- 32:40Speaker 1: thee Yeah, yeah, the bigger Listen that it wasn't their fault.
- 32:56Speaker 1: I had one of them in my box. Look like
- 32:58Speaker 1: a fly that was small. Yeah, nat wings is bigger.
- 33:07Speaker 1: I've beat it with my two front teeth and it
- 33:08Speaker 1: would go. I still have a wing stuck in my tooth.
- 33:13Speaker 1: It's that smaller wings. Oh no, it's a wang gigging wang. Wow. So,
- 33:26Speaker 1: I mean, at least they did get right on it
- 33:28Speaker 1: once they found out. They did release the statement. So yeah,
- 33:32Speaker 1: I mean, if they didn't kind of tweets it was vulgar. Yeah, races,
- 33:36Speaker 1: It was a series of these tweets that they had
- 33:39Speaker 1: to really get a hold of that. So we have
- 33:41Speaker 1: to stop going because the lemon j I'm asking you
- 33:45Speaker 1: can't get no coffee normal, you cannot go to waffle
- 33:50Speaker 1: hot where can we do? You can now not eat
- 33:54Speaker 1: Buffalo wings, So let's get that. And if they what
- 33:59Speaker 1: we go and if they hadn't hadn't canceled Roseanne, you
- 34:02Speaker 1: couldn't watch her anymore. Like well, at least you know
- 34:11Speaker 1: the powers that we got right on if they apologized
- 34:14Speaker 1: and they're looking into it to see what happened, so
- 34:17Speaker 1: maybe they'll take your wing suggestion under advisement as well.
- 34:21Speaker 1: And I'm sorry, Peppers, could you come to the back
- 34:34Speaker 1: door and bring me to well yeah stop stops, yeah,
- 34:45Speaker 1: all right? Can we uh move on? You crazy people?

- 34:53Speaker 1: here she is miss Anne Trip. Good morning everybody, and
- 34:57Speaker 1: thank you everybody, and welcome to a new week. We
- 35:00Speaker 1: go with the news, and let's start out right away.
- 35:02Speaker 1: US allies are letting the Trump administration know that they
- 35:04Speaker 1: are not happy with the White Houses Tariff's idea, the
- 35:08Speaker 1: G seven finance ministers expressing their quote unanimous concern and disappointment.
- 35:12Speaker 1: That's how they put it over the levees and China
- 35:14Speaker 1: says in any trade agreements with the United States will
- 35:17Speaker 1: be avoided if the Trump administration imposes tariffs on Chinese goods.
- 35:22Speaker 1: Last week, the White House warned that it would pursue
- 35:24Speaker 1: levies on some fifty billion dollars at the billion with
- 35:26Speaker 1: the b eight dollars worth of Chinese products where Commerce
- 35:29Speaker 1: Secretary Will Ross says that the weekend trade talked with
- 35:32Speaker 1: his counterparts in Beijing were quote friendly and frank. New
- 35:36Speaker 1: York Times and says it's gotten ahold of a copy
- 35:38Speaker 1: of a letter from the president's legal team that reportedly
- 35:41Speaker 1: was sent to the Russia election meddling panel in late January.
- 35:45Speaker 1: The Time says the letter says that the group does
- 35:47Speaker 1: not need to speak to the commander in chief and
- 35:49Speaker 1: that he does not have to talk to them, and
- 35:51Speaker 1: the attorneys also say Trump cannot be accused of obstructing
- 35:54Speaker 1: justice because as the country's chief law enforcement officer, he
- 35:57Speaker 1: would be obstructing himself, say. The letter also says the
- 36:00Speaker 1: president could terminate the prob or issue pardons wherever. The
- 36:03Speaker 1: newest member of the Trump team, Rudy Giuliani, says that
- 36:06Speaker 1: could be dangerous moves. It could lead to impeachment it
- 36:08Speaker 1: could lead to I mean, if he terminated an investigation
- 36:11Speaker 1: of himself. Giuliani was on NBC's Meet the Press. Yesterday
- 36:15Speaker 1: was a graduation day for seniors at Florida's Marjorie Stoneman
- 36:19Speaker 1: Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, where seventeen people were
- 36:22Speaker 1: shot to death on Valentine's Day. Four of those murdered
- 36:25Speaker 1: got their degrees posthumously. They would have graduated yesterday. Families
- 36:29Speaker 1: and students wanted this year's ceremony be private, held in
- 36:31Speaker 1: an arena so meant to accommodate only invited guests, and
- 36:35Speaker 1: and that's how it went. A white police officer in Athens, Georgia,
- 36:39Speaker 1: has been fired after his superiors say he deliberately hit
- 36:43Speaker 1: a black suspect with his patrol car. Police brass say
- 36:46Speaker 1: office that Taylors Salter's initially denied the whole thing, but
- 36:49Speaker 1: officials say his vehicle's webcam caught it. The suspects sustained
- 36:53Speaker 1: some cuts and bruises, but is in police custody right now.
- 36:56Speaker 1: Legendary l A Laker Elgin Baylor out with an autobiography
- 36:59Speaker 1: and I will hang time and it He not only
- 37:02Speaker 1: talks about his winning the years on the court, but
- 37:04Speaker 1: also some of the racism he and his family faced
- 37:06Speaker 1: starting when he was a child. He says, like, for instance,
- 37:09Speaker 1: a white girl spit on his sister and called her
- 37:11Speaker 1: the N word. His sister slapped the girl, and he
- 37:13Speaker 1: says a white cop was came came to his house
- 37:15Speaker 1: later one and told his father that he was going
- 37:17Speaker 1: to rest his sister for assault unless he beat her
- 37:20Speaker 1: in front of him. His father complied. Bayless says he
- 37:23Speaker 1: never forgot that top to the box office This weekend,
- 37:26Speaker 1: it was solo again. I'm a driver and I'm a flyer.
- 37:31Speaker 1: I waited a long time for a shot like this.
- 37:35Speaker 1: What do you think? Well, what do you know? However,
- 37:40Speaker 1: Star Wars prequel only brought in about twenty nine point
- 37:42Speaker 1: three million dollars. We'll be back more entertainment. Today's trending

- 38:52Speaker 1: He's got the Stephen A. Smiths Show on ESPN Radio
- 38:55Speaker 1: this week. He's gonna host the NBA Final special Editional
- 38:59Speaker 1: Sports Center on Game Days and I will be a
- 39:02Speaker 1: special guest on that show Wednesday night of Game three.
- 39:07Speaker 1: Pack dog on that Dog to the show. Gentlemen, Steven
- 39:17Speaker 1: what something? What s? That might be the greatest intro
- 39:22Speaker 1: I've ever had. Don't don't know ifody do it better
- 39:24Speaker 1: than me. Stephen Haye. First man, let me just get
- 39:28Speaker 1: your take on Game one, the end of it. Well,
- 39:33Speaker 1: it was one of the most idiotic things that I've
- 39:36Speaker 1: ever seen take place through sports. J R. Smith is
- 39:39Speaker 1: not the reason they lost the game. George Hill hits
- 39:43Speaker 1: the free throw. You're up one with less than five seconds. Class,
- 39:47Speaker 1: you missed that free throw. You gotta hold him accountable
- 39:51Speaker 1: for that. That bugus called reversal. Will Lebron draws the
- 39:56Speaker 1: charge and then they go to the video tape and
- 39:59Speaker 1: turn to into a blocking foul against the greatest player
- 40:03Speaker 1: of this generation. Just absolutely asked nine. The NBA had
- 40:07Speaker 1: no reason doing that. It was the wrong call, however, Jr.
- 40:11Speaker 1: Smith to grab a reback and to run out not
- 40:15Speaker 1: just past the three point lie, but damn near the
- 40:18Speaker 1: half court. I mean, and I don't even know what
- 40:25Speaker 1: to say. I don't believe there is an explanation. You
- 40:28Speaker 1: gotta remember, you're not in the throes of action. A
- 40:30Speaker 1: few seconds before you're at the free throw line. You
- 40:33Speaker 1: get an opportunity to take a deep breath, get composed,
- 40:37Speaker 1: and more importantly, look up at the clock and look
- 40:41Speaker 1: at the scoreboard and noticed that the score is tied.
- 40:44Speaker 1: More just mistake it was inexcusable. But then to make
- 40:48Speaker 1: matters worse to just throw so just throw flames on
- 40:52Speaker 1: the wound. This brother doubles down and said, I knew
- 40:56Speaker 1: what the score was now because everybody, you mother, no,
- 41:00Speaker 1: you're lying because we saw the video tape. Okay, And
- 41:04Speaker 1: in this age of technology where there is HD, where
- 41:08Speaker 1: you are allowed to zoom and where you are allowed
- 41:11Speaker 1: to see exactly what a person is saying, this brother
- 41:14Speaker 1: actually set up there and says, you know, while on
- 41:17Speaker 1: the floor running towards half court. After Lebron looked at
- 41:20Speaker 1: him like he wanted to slap him over the head.
- 41:22Speaker 1: He said, I didn't know the school, That's what he said.
- 41:25Speaker 1: But then he denied it and said, no, I knew
- 41:28Speaker 1: the score, even though the video tape clearly showed it
- 41:31Speaker 1: was the most hurtful thing. Steven, We'll be back with more,
- 41:34Speaker 1: Steven A right after this. You're listening from Steven, all right.
- 41:43Speaker 1: It's it's moments like Game one where you sit up
- 41:46Speaker 1: there and you look at Lebron James and you say,
- 41:49Speaker 1: you know what, not only is he the greatest player
- 41:52Speaker 1: in the world today, but we're really gonna miss him
- 41:54Speaker 1: when he's gone because as greate as his talent is,
- 41:58Speaker 1: he never cheats us. He's always a big condition, always
- 42:02Speaker 1: ready to go, always tries to bring it. And you
- 42:06Speaker 1: know what the stool is, the cerebral as the company's
- 42:09Speaker 1: a savant on the basketball court. He would never find
- 42:12Speaker 1: himself in a situation where he was unprepared for the moment.
- 42:17Speaker 1: He either gets it done or he doesn't get it done.
- 42:19Speaker 1: But it's not gonna be for lack of preparation. When
- 42:22Speaker 1: you're surrounded by guys that don't think nor act like you,
- 42:27Speaker 1: it's really, really tough, which is why I think this
- 42:30Speaker 1: is his last year in Cleveland. This Now, let's get
- 42:36Speaker 1: to it. Because I happened to agree with you. I
- 42:40Speaker 1: happened to also think Stephen A. Lebron James Ols Cleveland nothing.
- 42:46Speaker 1: He paid his debt, he came back. He gave us
- 42:50Speaker 1: a title. Just the other day on family feud, this
- 42:54Speaker 1: young girl, they were from Cleveland, she had this huge
- 42:58Speaker 1: ring on and I'm looking at it. I went, wait,
- 43:00Speaker 1: let me see this ring she had on the Cavaliers
- 43:04Speaker 1: two thousand sixteen championship ring because she was a cheerleader
- 43:09Speaker 1: on the Cavaliers. The year they want. He has given
- 43:14Speaker 1: us a ring. He owes us nothing else that is correct.
- 43:18Speaker 1: I think he should go. Where is he going? It's
- 43:21Speaker 1: hard to say right now, see because of the choices
- 43:23Speaker 1: that he has. Let me give you the choices to
- 43:25Speaker 1: break this down for you, because you would want to
- 43:28Speaker 1: know this. Cleveland is a slim to none option. He
- 43:33Speaker 1: gets an opportunity. He could do whatever he wants in Cleveland.
- 43:36Speaker 1: I mean they bowed the altar Lebron James, so you
- 43:39Speaker 1: could never completely rule it out because it's home for him.
- 43:42Speaker 1: But I would say there's a slim and unchanty sting.
- 43:45Speaker 1: Philadelphia is an option because they have enough cap space
- 43:50Speaker 1: to get him and another player. Not to mention they
- 43:53Speaker 1: already have Vin Simmons and Joel and b and they
- 43:55Speaker 1: were a playoff team. Boston has the attent to get
- 44:00Speaker 1: him if they want him, because I'm not so sure
- 44:04Speaker 1: Kyrie Irvin is gonna stay there with his knee problems, okay.
- 44:07Speaker 1: And on top of it all, they've got a requisite
- 44:09Speaker 1: number of weapons where they can work outside and trade
- 44:13Speaker 1: and take care of you. You got that going on
- 44:16Speaker 1: out west, out west, you got they got, they gotta written,
- 44:22Speaker 1: They got to renounce the rights to several players but
- 44:26Speaker 1: it won't have to be James Harden obviously, and you
- 44:29Speaker 1: could always read up with CP three. That's a consideration.
- 44:34Speaker 1: I spoke to some people in Houston just yesterday. They
- 44:37Speaker 1: said to me, we're getting to make a run at him.
- 44:40Speaker 1: So they're gonna make a run of him. Okay, you
- 44:43Speaker 1: have the Los Angeles Lakers with Magic Johnson that has
- 44:46Speaker 1: faith not just for one, but for two players, mainly
- 44:51Speaker 1: a Lebron James and a Paul George to pair with
- 44:54Speaker 1: the Alondo balls, Julius Randall's, Kyle Ko's. But even though
- 44:59Speaker 1: I think the Lakers will give up at least one
- 45:01Speaker 1: or two of those guys just to make sure they
- 45:03Speaker 1: have the requisite rooms because of max contractor Lebron next
- 45:06Speaker 1: season start at four million, a max contract for Bull
- 45:10Speaker 1: George next season starts at thirty five millions, and then
- 45:14Speaker 1: last but not least, Even though I can't see this happening,
- 45:18Speaker 1: even though I would vilify Lebron if this did happen,
- 45:23Speaker 1: I am told that he will at least listen. The
- 45:27Speaker 1: Golden State Warriors very clear have made it very very
- 45:36Speaker 1: clear that you know what you gotta remember. Play Thompson.
- 45:40Speaker 1: He's a free agent and twenty nineteen, Kevin Durant, he
- 45:44Speaker 1: has a player option. Draymond and Steph are signed, but
- 45:49Speaker 1: you could find a way to make room. If that

- 56:47Speaker 1: all right? Subject? Have I been acting bad and bougie?
- 56:51Speaker 1: I did not write this letter is not about me,
- 56:54Speaker 1: Stephen Shirley. I am a hair stylist and in the
- 56:57Speaker 1: last few years I've built up a great clientele and
- 57:01Speaker 1: I'm enjoying the fruits of my labor. I was able
- 57:04Speaker 1: to buy a new car, and I purchased my first home,
- 57:07Speaker 1: a nice home. I also have found love again with
- 57:10Speaker 1: a great supportive man. So here's my problem, my professional
- 57:14Speaker 1: life and my love life are going great, but my
- 57:18Speaker 1: friendships are suffering. I've lost a lot of girlfriends in
- 57:22Speaker 1: this past year. They are friends that I've known for
- 57:24Speaker 1: a long time, and I thought they would be happy
- 57:27Speaker 1: to watch me as I finally got my life on track.
- 57:30Speaker 1: At first, I thought that maybe I was doing something
- 57:33Speaker 1: to turn them off, but I never brag or throw
- 57:36Speaker 1: my success in their faces. We used to meet up
- 57:38Speaker 1: for lunch, dinner, and girls night out, but I've noticed
- 57:41Speaker 1: that they've been doing a lot of stuff without me.
- 57:45Speaker 1: I'm not sure what I've done to make them exclude me.
- 57:48Speaker 1: Even my best friend became distant, so I invited her
- 57:51Speaker 1: over and asked her what was going on. She told
- 57:55Speaker 1: me that I think I'm better than everyone else. Now,
- 57:58Speaker 1: anyone that knows me knows that I am very humble
- 58:01Speaker 1: and I have a very big heart. I was shocked
- 58:04Speaker 1: when she told me that, please help me understand what
- 58:06Speaker 1: could possibly be going on with my friends. Maybe it
- 58:10Speaker 1: is me. I am proud of my accomplishments, and I
- 58:13Speaker 1: was hoping my friends would be too. My man is supportive,
- 58:17Speaker 1: but I need my girlfriends. How can I fix this?
- 58:20Speaker 1: Listen bad and Bougie. I'm proud of your accomplishments too.
- 58:24Speaker 1: I really am Uh. This is what you're supposed to
- 58:27Speaker 1: be doing with your life. This is what success looks like.
- 58:30Speaker 1: How sakara prospering business, et cetera. You're in a great
- 58:34Speaker 1: relationship now. I love how you say. You're still humble,
- 58:38Speaker 1: You're not braggadocious. You don't throw your success in their faces.
- 58:41Speaker 1: I mean, what more do they want? You sound like
- 58:43Speaker 1: a young woman who's doing all the right things. Uh.
- 58:47Speaker 1: And you are, like you said, enjoying the fruits of
- 58:49Speaker 1: your labor. You work hard. Uh. Your your friends are haters.
- 58:52Speaker 1: I'm just gonna tell you they're haters. Hate just doesn't
- 58:55Speaker 1: look good on them. No, it is not you, it's them.
- 58:58Speaker 1: They are jealous because doing well and they cannot to
- 59:02Speaker 1: bring themselves to be happy for you. Uh. You know,
- 59:06Speaker 1: I just say it's times like this when you find
- 59:08Speaker 1: out who your real friends are, especially you're supposedly best friend.
- 59:12Speaker 1: What's that about? She's a hater too. So this is
- 59:16Speaker 1: a decision you're going to have to consider. Um, you know,
- 59:20Speaker 1: do you still want these women around you that? Um?
- 59:23Speaker 1: When they meet and they don't invite you, please know
- 59:26Speaker 1: that they're talking about you. You're the entire topic of conversation,
- 59:30Speaker 1: how you think they're you're better than them, and all that.
- 59:32Speaker 1: I say, times change, circumstances change, people change, so you're
- 59:36Speaker 1: going to have to change as well. Don't let these
- 59:38Speaker 1: people make you doubt yourself. Don't make them feel badly.
- 59:41Speaker 1: It is okay to be successful as long as you
- 59:44Speaker 1: stay humble. Steve. Uh, well, it's so many ways to
- 59:50Speaker 1: First of all, show I agree with everything you've said.
- 59:53Speaker 1: That's for starters. You've pointed it out very eloquently, and
- 59:58Speaker 1: they are haters. But the this thing you gotta learn
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: is these not your friends. These just ain't your friends.
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: They were your friends as long as you were in
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: the same predicament they were in. Now we're friends. You know,
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: birds of a feather flock together. Misery love company. As
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: long as you was in misery, they was glad to
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: be in your company. But the moment you have started
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: prospering moving up, now here they come. They got problem.
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: Now they're not your friends. I can't tell you how
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: many people out of met like this. I can't count
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: the people. Man who was cool with me long as
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: I was paying Oh man, you're the greatest man. No man,
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: Steve man, you this man. You know. Yeah, they're getting
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: their check. The moment they stopped doing what they want
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: to do in that checkstop. I ain't heard from I
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: ain't heard man. I love you, You're my boy. I
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: appreciate you now. I wish you the best. I love
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: your friend him. Ain't heard from him. Don't hear from him,
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: don't ever hear from him. So you you, you're you're
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: going through what a lot of us go through. All
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: of us have gone through it. It's called seasons of life.
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: They were in your life for a season. This season
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: is over. It's winner now. Yeah. You saw the movie
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: game and throw when they're coming, when they're coming on
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: the White Walkers too. Shirley was right. Crap in the bowl,
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: that's all it is. You know, everybody ain't gonna be
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: happy for yourself. Shirley was right again. See the one
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: thing I've learned about success, it's not me who changes.
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: It's people's opinion of me who has changed. People now
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: think I think I'm all that? No dog, you think
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: I think I'm all that, because that's how you act
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: of you was here. Quit tripping with them, girls. It
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: is time for you to move on in your life,
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: you should not get yourself a new set of friends.
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: Association brings on participation. I have found in my life.
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: I have had to get different types of friends. I
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: had to go find me some friends that don't want
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: nothing every time I turn around. I had to find
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: me some friends that go, hey man, I got to check.
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: I had to find some friends and say, hey man,
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: you ain't paying for that. I'm gonna pick that up
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: instead of somebody standing around me, always waiting on me
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: to get to check, always waiting on me to buy everything,
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: always sitting around to my man, where we're gonna go,
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: ain't playing to no golf trips, ain't telling my hey man,
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: let's go here. I got this with none of that,
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: none of that. You are in the same spot. It's
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: not that you've changed. It's that people's opinion of you
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: are changed. They now thank you, thank you all that,
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: and you don't. It's just that's how they are, that
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: how they are, and you're best friend. I'm gonna tell
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: you come back because I'm gonna tell you what did
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: happened to huh? And then I'm gonna give you a solution.
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: All right, all right, We'll be back with part two.
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: Of Steve's response coming up at twenty three after the hour.
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Coming up
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: in about twenty minutes more of the Steven A. Smith Interview.
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: Can't wait for that, but right now it is time
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: for part two of Steve's response to today's Strawberry letters
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: subject have I been acting bad? Or? And boogie? Have
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: I been at whatever? Jay? Alright, come on, Steve, let's recap. Alright,
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: So Steve, this young lady wrote in she's a hairstylist.
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: She's um just really come up in the last few years.
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: She has a great clientele. Her business is booming. She
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: brought a new car, a new home, she's got a
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: new man in her life. H and things are going
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: well and she's happy. But her friend, Steve, especially her
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: best friend, they think, you know, she thinks she's better
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: than everyone now, so they get and I've told you
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: all what I thought about it earlier. But now let
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: me let me focus on this best friend. For you,
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: your best friend is sitting around with your other friends,
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: and her mind set towards you has been contaminating by
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: your other friends. So the girl you consider your best friend,
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: it's really your less friend and just just like all
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: the rest of them, because they're not happy for your success.
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: And it ain't just your business. Oh it's that new man.
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: You got to all the lonely helpless sitting around ain't
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: got nobody, or ain't in a healthy relationship, or ain't
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: in no relationship. Now you're in a relationship and your
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: business turned around. God didn't bless you. Now, well, what's
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: wrong with her? She thinks she all that? Now, No,
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: you don't. And I can tell everybody your letter that
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: you're a humble person and this has really hurt your feelings.
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: So you're trying to find a way to deal with it.
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: But this is how, this is how gardeners get the
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: best and the most out of shrubbery and trees. Every tree,
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: to get the best out of it, you have to
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: prune it. You have to cut some branches off that
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: look like they live branches, but they're actually prohibiting the
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: nutrients from getting into the upper levels of the tree.
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: So you prune them, You cut them back. It's what
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: gardeners do. And God gives us this opportunity in our
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: life to cut back, to prune, to get rid of
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: so he can take you and let you flourish to
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: be the best bush tree plant you can be. But
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: you got a lot of dead weight around you. And
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: they are called your friends, and we all have them.
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: We all have them. So now this is your opportunity
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: to start associating yourself with some more like minded people. See,
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: you all got along fun because before, because you all
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: were like minded, you all made the same kind of money,
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: had the same kind of problems. Now a couple of
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: your money problems and got solved, and a couple of
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: your other problems and got solved. So now boom, you
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: ain't in the group no more. And they don't like that.
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: If you're the smartest person in your group, you need
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: a new group. It's time for a new group. Period.
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: They're not your friends. It's all. It's all good. And
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: don't forget she has a new man. You got your
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: new man better in a relationship. That stinking cheating on them.
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: Boyfriend ain't asked in the mail, Always ugly man. Nobody
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: touching him, Yeah, gotta be touched. You're getting hell and
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: all here. Now you got your beers, You've got a
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: salon hairpin. It's health. He dropping by the shop, slapping
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: that wood stuff like that. Why you would that's what
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: they mad about. What they upset about? What she does say?
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: Her man is supportive? How you got that out of that? Like,
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: I don't know. I'll be back later baby anyway. But
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: she's doing well. She's successful. That's what success looks like.
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: Come on now and that's what we're going out. You
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: find out your real friends are. That's make it or
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: lose everything. Become extremely successful or lose everything. Those are
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: two ways to find out who you're friend. Yeah, yeah, exactly,
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: You're exactly right, do extremely badly or man? You know
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: I had a partner, Uh, we'll just asked me for
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: some money, and I really just kind of forgot because
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: he's never asked me for money before. I ain't really
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: talked to him in years. Right, well, we talked text,
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: but we ain't really seen each other in years. So
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: dude asked me, fifty people do that easy? Man? Ah? Man,
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: how do you fix your mom? To Shirley? Shirley, I
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: got a whole business for post, so I didn't think
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: none of it, man, So I kinda send it to
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: me in an email. Then he texts me saying, man,
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: if you considered my idea I really need that fifty
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: thousand by Friday, not damn dog Monday, but you need
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: it by Friday. See, and ain't no bank the bank
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: don't even get you that what you mean? But you
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: can't go do that at the bank. Get the loan officer. Look,
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: I need this, friend, I have an idea. Can I
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: get it down? I don't work like that, you know, man.
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: Look I've had friends do that to me. You know
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: you can't. Look, you just got getting new set of friends.
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: That's got some funny, wouldn't me. I just wanted a
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: job and he said he hadn't spoken spoken to him?
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: So are you gonna send it to him? You're holding
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: the boy up? Man, you're slowing up production. Well, I
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: mean that's just wonderous. Yeah. That's different though than picking
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: up the phone and saying to her friend and saying, hey,
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: can I borrow fifty g That's different. That's crazy. H
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: At least he did have to have a business plan
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: attached to it. But that's crazy either way. Yeah, have
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: you looked at the planet to go? All right, we
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: gotta get out of here. Email as her Instagram. I's
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: your thoughts on today's strawberry letter at Steve Harvey f
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: M dot Com. Okay, and switching gears. Coming up in
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: about ten minutes or so. It's our good friend Stephen A. Smith.
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: They're going to talk about the NBA Finals. Stick around
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: for that. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: We're back with Stephen A. Smith. So to answer your
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: question directly, the two options, I would tell you the
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: number one option for me would be l A. I
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: think l A playing with Magic Johnson Purple. And he
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: got two houses, Uh you got you got two houses
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: in brent Wood. He's gonna fix them up and then
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: sell him because he's good in a fat mansion nearby,
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: and and and and the wife's gonna go there with
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: or without him. So I mean the Bodon. She loves
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: l A. So the bottom line is that listen, it
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: is what it is. And I would say to you
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: that l A right now looks like they've got a
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: pretty damn good shot. But I would rule out I
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: wouldn't rule out Cleveland, I wouldn't rule out Philadelphia, and
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: I give Houston an outside shot. Boston and l A.
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: Boston and Golden State. I don't see happening. No, I
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: can't see him and Kyrie back together. You know Kyrie
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: would not be happy. But keep in mind that if
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: Kyrie would have leaves, you have to remember that Boston
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: wouldn't mind getting its hands on Kauai Lennard, who doesn't
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: want to be in San Antonio any longer. So according
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: to the report, so Kawai Landard. If those reports are true,
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: and Kauai land it really really is looking at least
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: and it don't you If you're staying Antonio and you
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: lose the magnitude of a kawa minute, you damn well
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: better get a start in return. And Kyrie qualifies, yes
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: he does. He's a bad boy. Well, Stephen A man,
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: I gotta I gotta ask you this one. Yeah, anyway,
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: I'm listening. Cavaliers can pull this out this year. Uh Steve,
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you they got a chance. It's slim,
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: it's slim, but they got a chance. I'm gonna tell
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: you what happened in game one that that it would
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: have been the story had it not been for the
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: blunder and the law. Let's keep in mind that Lebron
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: James dropped fifty one okay Um, first player in NBA
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: history to drop fifty in the NBA Finals in the
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: law Okay, Jordan had fifty five, but that was a win.
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: Here's the deal. Lebron James was on that court, and
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: I consider Kevin Durand one of the top three players
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: on the planet Earth. He's just that big time. I'm
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: not talking about last year. I'm not talking about in
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: the Finals when he every thirty five and eight or
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: fifty five percent shooting and was giving us to Lebron
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: just like Lebron was giving us to him. I'm talking
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: about Game one Thursday night. Kevin Durant wanted no parts
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: of le Brunches. He wanted no part of him. I'm
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: telling you as a guy that was standing their court side,
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: that was watching this game and watching time out and
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: watching guys walk to the bench, and watching guys walk
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: back and forth to the locker room, and watching their
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: eyes are looking at them, and knowing basketball the way
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: that I do. Kevin Durant want of no parts of
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: the Brunches. And if that Lebron James shows up and
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: he continues to make Kevin Durant feel that way, we
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: have a problem. So all I'm telling you, and I'm
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: telling you that Lebron is gonna go down swinging. Steph Curry,
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: there's a rough rider. His brother ain't scared of anything, okay,
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: and he's gonna bring what he's gonna bring in. But
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: Clay Thompson was hobbling after Game one because of JR.
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: Sliddering in the m and messing up his ankle. Draymond
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: Green hit a couple of big shots for pride of
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: that he couldn't he couldn't hit any jump shot. And
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: Kevin Durant shot two from the field. Wasn't himself. Uh,
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: just seemed to be discompopulated, And I think it's because
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: he wanted no part for Lebron and as father, Kevin
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: Durant hasn't really been the same since Game three in
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: the Houston series. If that continues to happen, I don't
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: think it will, Steve. I think you Golden State is
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: winning this series in five. But if that continues to happen, Lebron,
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: James and Cleveland got a shot. They got a shot
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: because they ain't scared. They ain't scared now, and they
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: scored seven games. I will say this, Steve Arvi, that
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: sounds like an emotional decision. Ste I have to stephen
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: I'm so sorry stephen A about the fashion choice of lebron. Oh,
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: that was it was. It was hideous. Um. I know
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: I saw my man Jay Anthony Brown trying to imitate that.
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: You know that. But but but I would tell you,
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: I would tell you. Listen, here's my whole point. First
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: of all, I don't give a damn who you are.
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: You're a man, you were in a suit. It can't
- 1:15:33Speaker 1: be with sure, that's number one, number two, number two,
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: it would be nice if the socks match. That's that's
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: such the right that's just the right thing to do.
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: That's just the right thing to do. But then, but then,
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: when you consider everything that happens, there is a legitimate
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: argument that could be made that the outfit may have
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: contaminated the team, which may have affected him. Again, really
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: that's stretched stephen A didn't contaminate him, but the rest
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: of his teammates they seem a bit busy at time.
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: So so all I'm saying is that these are the
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: kind of things I'm paying attention to. And uh, I
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: wouldn't do it. But you know what, I'm not a
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: billionaire who happens to be the greatest basketball player on
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: the planet right now, so you could try. He could try.
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: I can't something outfit, Stephen. I gave him a pass
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: on the outfit. I just tried to call it as fly.
- 1:16:30Speaker 1: I was asked what I wear. I told him at
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: sixty that is way passed the age limit, and that's
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: a fifty maybe for real. Yeah, yeah, yeah, could pull
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: off something like that because he distracted with one of
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: his hat so he could pull out. You're saying it's
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: hard to do that though, when you too seventy that's
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: right to seventies six nine. You know, everybody looking for
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: you to come to the game, and they're like, all right,
- 1:17:12Speaker 1: walking off, here we come, you know. And here's the
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: funny part, y'all. Here's the funny point. You know. They
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: actually make all of us walk through security. So my
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: point is, how did you let him through with that?
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: My dog, Stephen A. Smith. I appreciate y'all, love y'all,
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: Thank y'all so much. Thank you. You're listening to the
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. Alright, So Kanye West released his
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: first solo album in two years. So nice it really is.
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: It's simply called Yeah Things Again. Uh, it's it's simply
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: called ya after dominating headlines. Of course, with his antics
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: over the past few weeks, Kanye invited friends and famous
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: and like Chris Rock like Kid Cutty like to Chains
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: to his album released party in Wyoming. Carla, you're our
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: music director. I got invited. Also, surely let's shoot, you
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: should have gone. We could have wick. I got to work, man,
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: I was just throwing it out. They invited me to.
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: I thought it was really nice with the broke. Yeah,
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: it is a nice album. Really. They still say album? Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: if you owe you you can say album. You say
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: you own. They don't say CD release party. They say
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: album released party, so you can still say album. So
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: what do you think you looking for it? So way
- 1:18:45Speaker 1: can I pick you up the album? That's what I
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: wanted they want, you know, I'm asking Carla. You you've
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: you've heard everything. I've heard a couple of them. What
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: do you think, Carla? I think it was really good.
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: Think it was really good. You know. This is his
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: eighth solo album. He has about seven tracks on there,
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: so yeah, it's it's a short album. But he talks
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: about a lot of stuff. He talked about his mental
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: health issues. He talked about having homicidal and suicidal thoughts.
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: He mentions that he is bipolar, and uh, you know
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: it was his album released party. It was steep. I mean,
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: his wife was there, Kim Kim Kardashian was there, Like
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: you said, Shirley kid Cutty, push your t nas. It
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: was star studded. And you know, he has this vintage
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: Kanye song on there that I like called Wouldn't Leave
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: and Steve, he's talking about women that are loyal to
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: men and and why sometimes men don't listen to their women,
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: and he's acknowledging basically, I think he's acknowledging his wife, Kim,
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: who you know, still buy him through all of his
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: controversies and all the headlines and all the stuff. You remember,
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: Kanye had a mental breakdown back in you guys remember that.
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: So I like that song Wouldn't Leave. And then he
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: has a song on their called make No Mistakes with
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: Charlie Wilson What I Got, Yeah, that's the one. That's
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: a good song too. And then there's a song on
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: there called Violent Crimes where he is basically talking to
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: men and he's telling men, you know, you used to
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: be a player, you used to be you know, back
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: in the game, a pimp type guy. And now that
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: you're a father and you have a daughter, you want
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: to make sure that you guide her steps in the
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: right way. So yeah, can I just say one thing
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: about that because I heard a couple of cuts off
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: of it. Those were his friends that he invited to
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: hear the album, and that's cool, and they had, you know,
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: great things to say about it. But will the public
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: go out and buy his album after what he said?
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: That's what. No, man, they're gonna go buy his album? Well,
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: I would hope. So they're going to go buy his
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: album because number one, first of all, they're very fickle.
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: If it's a good beating, a good drop, they don't care.
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: And it's Kanye What what did he do? Really? He
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: misspoke horrible and I think he knows that, and he's
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: tried to apologize. He tried to say something really deep
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: and it came out the wrong. Period. Well, they're gonna
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: buy the album, but that has a lot to do
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: with the fact whether people will go out and put
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: their money down when they feel the way they deals.
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: So I hope feel because it is a good, good product.
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: He put out a good problem, They're gonna be some
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: die hards that definitely aren't gonna do it, but then
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: a lot of them will, especially once word gets out
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: that it is a good album. Slaves gonna but everybody
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: ain't no slaves gonna get it out the way He's said,
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: I'm tell you that right now. Yeah, but yeah, I mean,
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: I understand what Jay is saying, and some people have
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: some issues with him on this Poe pro Trump bandwagon
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: that he you know. So, I think though Kanye, he
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: has some real loyal fans and those that like his
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: music and like him, They're gonna be there. But he
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: might take a little it. He might. He might. I
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: like that going by, He's gonna rocket in the house. Um,
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: is there any truth to the rumor? Have you heard
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: anything about if I liked it? He's Kanye West. Look,
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: he's a he's a pop culture guy. For shooting artists.
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: He moves the needle in pop culture for sure. Oh, definitely,
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: Slavery ain't pop culture. But I don't think that statement
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: is gonna haunt him for the rest of his life.
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: It'll be what It's one of the stupid things to say.
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: But I think he knew it. I think he knew
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: it all right, is it truth? Carlin? Did you hear
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: anything about this that he changed his album completely after
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: he appeared on TMZ. Did you hear anything about that?
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: I think so I heard something about that because the
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: album cover you see the Wyoming, the picture of Wyoming,
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: and then he just kind of wrote on it. So
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: there there's a lot of different rumors out of about
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: the album. I didn't think it was gonna be the
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: short with just seven tracks, and that takes some songs
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: that he took some songs out. That slave song didn't
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: make the cut, you know, Yeah, get up the slave
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: song that he couldn't play on now dance track Jay
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: with slave Dance. Yeah, we stepping in this cotton and
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: that Steve get Oh god, you go too far. We
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: step in and his cotton and they will wear his clothes.
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: The Easy Collection, the music collection Easy when we cotton
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: cotton Yet no, we said good things we did. He
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: has a good Yeah, it's called pick it up in
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: this in this Cottain. Go to Steve all social media comment,
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: let us know if you're gonna buy the album and
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: why or why not? Jeez? Alright, alright, um, we'll be up.
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: We'll be back with more of this foolish. No, no,
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: right after this step in this every day you're listening
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. This story is like
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: trending right now. And off duty FBI agent allegedly shot
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: a man in the leg early Saturday after the agent's
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: gun fell from his holster. Guess where he was. He's
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: on the dance floor he's at Yeah, he's in Denver.
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: He's at a dance floor at the Mile High Spirits.
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: That's according to a Denver police news release. The victim
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: was transported to the hospital with a good prognosis, so
- 1:25:13Speaker 1: he's going to be all right. Uh. The name of
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: the agent hasn't been released because he hasn't been charged
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: with anything yet. There's an investigation going on now in
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: the hospital. Yeah, he remains in there. He was in
- 1:25:25Speaker 1: there Saturday afternoon. But he but he doesn't well, I
- 1:25:30Speaker 1: don't know, Tommy, because listen to what he was doing. Uh,
- 1:25:33Speaker 1: there's video of the incident. Um. It shows a man
- 1:25:37Speaker 1: allegedly to be an FBI agent, dancing while surrounded by
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: onlookers and then doing a back flip. During the flip,
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: the gun appears to fly out of the man's holster. Okay,
- 1:25:55Speaker 1: the man in the video jumps to pick up the
- 1:25:57Speaker 1: firearm and appears to fire the in the process. The
- 1:26:01Speaker 1: man puts the gun away in the back of his
- 1:26:03Speaker 1: pants and holds up his hands as onlookers appear shocked
- 1:26:07Speaker 1: and scared when the agent retrieved his handgun and unidentified
- 1:26:12Speaker 1: discharge occurred. That's what the Denver police released. Pressed so
- 1:26:18Speaker 1: much Trump the partying with the gun on the dance floor.
- 1:26:25Speaker 1: Your off duty, and you decide to do a back
- 1:26:28Speaker 1: flip and then the gun falls out from your pants
- 1:26:31Speaker 1: behind in the middle of his back. He reaches over
- 1:26:35Speaker 1: to pick it up. On the video, you could see
- 1:26:37Speaker 1: the flash go off. You see another guy in the
- 1:26:41Speaker 1: front his ass trying to get out of Now he
- 1:26:44Speaker 1: shoots a dude in the leg. I can't tell you
- 1:26:46Speaker 1: the trouble is, dude is in Tell me what today
- 1:26:50Speaker 1: requires a backflip? That just proves that they weren't doing
- 1:26:57Speaker 1: the electric slide or no shot your slide, none of that.
- 1:27:06Speaker 1: Aren't you supposed to have the safety on? See he
- 1:27:09Speaker 1: was in the middle of the flow on his own,
- 1:27:12Speaker 1: this whatnot, and he was doing so much. Everybody was
- 1:27:15Speaker 1: watching him. They had cleared room for him. Yeah, they
- 1:27:17Speaker 1: surrounded him, Steve, you know, yeah, somebody's in the middle
- 1:27:20Speaker 1: of the floor and you surround him and wow, that
- 1:27:23Speaker 1: weed is legal in them. I tell y'all going back five, Yeah,
- 1:27:27Speaker 1: don't stay back fire. That's not right. That's a crazy,
- 1:27:34Speaker 1: crazy story, playing stupidity on weed. Okay, we go somewhere
- 1:27:42Speaker 1: and sit down. That's what we did. Are you the president? Jack? Okay,
- 1:27:47Speaker 1: that's because you sure sound like it right now. Wow. So, Steve,
- 1:27:57Speaker 1: what do you think is gonna happen to this guy?
- 1:27:59Speaker 1: You said he's in a lot of trouble. I don't know,
- 1:28:01Speaker 1: but it's gonna be some type of suspension and disciplinary action.
- 1:28:06Speaker 1: He's gonna still be an FBI agent, I believe. But
- 1:28:11Speaker 1: there's a problem because somebody got paid for this man
- 1:28:14Speaker 1: getting shot. That that's a potential lawsuit here, yeah something. Yeah,
- 1:28:21Speaker 1: I mean, this could lead to a big problem man,
- 1:28:24Speaker 1: because the guy gonna press charges that got shot. Yeah
- 1:28:28Speaker 1: for sure. You out of club? Yeah? Alright? Coming up
- 1:28:34Speaker 1: next more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show. We'll be
- 1:28:36Speaker 1: back at thirty three after the hour. You're listening to
- 1:28:40Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Carla. Your Instagram page it
- 1:28:45Speaker 1: lips by Carla was recently hacked. Okay, so you feel
- 1:28:48Speaker 1: this next story coming up? Yes, yes, so make sure
- 1:28:52Speaker 1: you gotta follow me a lips by Carlo. But go ahead,
- 1:28:54Speaker 1: Shirley with this us. Okay, well, Wild Wings, you can
- 1:28:57Speaker 1: feel this then, Wild Wings Wild Wings. Buffalo Wild Wings
- 1:29:01Speaker 1: said their Twitter page was hacked to the sports bar
- 1:29:04Speaker 1: franchise officially Twitter official Twitter page fired off several racist
- 1:29:09Speaker 1: and vulgar tweets on Friday night, which were up and
- 1:29:12Speaker 1: posted for about twenty minutes before someone realized and took
- 1:29:17Speaker 1: them down, got them deleted. One tweet said effing in word,
- 1:29:21Speaker 1: I hate them? Okay. Buffalo Wild Wings released a statement
- 1:29:27Speaker 1: saying we're sorry that our fans had to see those
- 1:29:30Speaker 1: awful posts that you are but which obviously did not
- 1:29:34Speaker 1: come from us. We are in touch with our Twitter
- 1:29:36Speaker 1: representatives and will pursue the appropriate action against the individuals involved.
- 1:29:41Speaker 1: So they know who did it? Yeah, so it said
- 1:29:46Speaker 1: one just one tweet said effing in word I hate them.
- 1:29:51Speaker 1: Somebody waiting on an online order. Yeah, say it against it.
- 1:30:01Speaker 1: I can tweet that I hate their wings because I'm
- 1:30:03Speaker 1: with you. I know they're so small, they're like pigeon wings. Yeah,
- 1:30:10Speaker 1: are you guys, you guys are taking this person. No,
- 1:30:12Speaker 1: we are because I love Yeah, they smoke that tweeting
- 1:30:20Speaker 1: birds wings is bigger. I think they're humming. Listen, it
- 1:30:29Speaker 1: wasn't their fault. I had one of them in my box,
- 1:30:31Speaker 1: looked like a fly that nat wings is bigger. I've
- 1:30:40Speaker 1: beat it with my two front teeth and it would go,
- 1:30:43Speaker 1: I still have a wing stuck in my tooth that
- 1:30:47Speaker 1: small and wings wings Oh no, when I went, it's
- 1:30:52Speaker 1: a wang higging wangs. Wow. I mean, at least they
- 1:31:01Speaker 1: did get right on it once they found out. They
- 1:31:03Speaker 1: did release the statement, so yeah, yeah, I mean, if
- 1:31:06Speaker 1: they didn't kind of tweets it was vulgar. Yeah, races.
- 1:31:10Speaker 1: It was a series of these tweets that they had
- 1:31:12Speaker 1: to really get a hold of that we have to
- 1:31:14Speaker 1: stop going because I'm asking, can't get no coffee normal,
- 1:31:22Speaker 1: you cannot go to waffle howe what can we do?
- 1:31:25Speaker 1: Maybe you can now not eat buffalo away. So let's
- 1:31:28Speaker 1: get that. And if they and if they hadn't hadn't
- 1:31:34Speaker 1: canceled Roseanne, you couldn't watch her anymore stuff. Well, at
- 1:31:44Speaker 1: least you know the powers that we got right on it.
- 1:31:47Speaker 1: They apologized and they're looking into it to see what happened.
- 1:31:50Speaker 1: So maybe they'll take your wing suggestion under advisement as well.
- 1:32:07Speaker 1: Could you come to the back, don't bring me quell
- 1:32:11Speaker 1: talking about the buffalo wings. All right, Steve, coming up
- 1:32:16Speaker 1: closing remarks. You're listening to Steve. Alright, Steve, it's time
- 1:32:22Speaker 1: for your closing remarks. Okay, today I thought a good
- 1:32:27Speaker 1: subject to talk about was about I think mentors being mentored,
- 1:32:33Speaker 1: how to attract the right mentor. Um. I don't care
- 1:32:38Speaker 1: what you're thinking of doing in your life. I don't
- 1:32:41Speaker 1: care what decisions you make. Somebody's already done it, attempted it,
- 1:32:47Speaker 1: gone down that road, made the attempt. Maybe not your
- 1:32:51Speaker 1: idea specifically, but the route to get there has already
- 1:32:55Speaker 1: been traveled for the most part. Uh, If you want
- 1:33:00Speaker 1: to be successful, there are successful people. If you want
- 1:33:04Speaker 1: to be a star athlete, there's a star. You know
- 1:33:06Speaker 1: what I'm saying. I'm saying to you that whatever it
- 1:33:09Speaker 1: is you're trying to accomplish, somebody has already taken the path.
- 1:33:14Speaker 1: Now finding these people is really really not that difficult.
- 1:33:19Speaker 1: Now getting in front of them is where you're gonna
- 1:33:22Speaker 1: find the difficulty. So let me give you a couple
- 1:33:25Speaker 1: of suggestions. What is the best way to approach a mentor.
- 1:33:31Speaker 1: What is the best way to approach a mentor of
- 1:33:34Speaker 1: means and a mentor with means, Because that's that's two
- 1:33:40Speaker 1: different people. You know, Martin Luther King was a mentor
- 1:33:47Speaker 1: of means. He wasn't a wealthy man, but Lord have
- 1:33:51Speaker 1: mercy man. The knowledge that he could have given you
- 1:33:55Speaker 1: about struggling and overcoming and and and stick tuitiveness, those
- 1:34:00Speaker 1: those lessons he could have taught you would have been invaluable.
- 1:34:05Speaker 1: So you have two different types of mentors. You have
- 1:34:08Speaker 1: mentors of means and mentors with means. Now, if you
- 1:34:14Speaker 1: can find the two combined, that's even more special. But
- 1:34:19Speaker 1: you're getting into more of a rare territory. Now. It's
- 1:34:23Speaker 1: harder to find mentors of means and with means combined,
- 1:34:28Speaker 1: because how do you get to that person? How do
- 1:34:31Speaker 1: you get to the oprah Winfreys. When you find someone
- 1:34:34Speaker 1: in your life, or you meet someone, or you hear someone,
- 1:34:37Speaker 1: you put them on your vision board. I want to
- 1:34:39Speaker 1: meet this person one day. I would love to have
- 1:34:41Speaker 1: a conversation with this person. You have to understand something
- 1:34:46Speaker 1: most people with means of any kind, like Bishop Jake's.
- 1:34:52Speaker 1: He has a lot of means man he deals well
- 1:34:56Speaker 1: financially too, but he is also just a man of
- 1:35:01Speaker 1: wealth of knowledge. How do you get to these people? Well,
- 1:35:06Speaker 1: it's several ways to do it, but if you can
- 1:35:09Speaker 1: somehow find that way, because there's no specific way right
- 1:35:14Speaker 1: when you get in front of this person, I want
- 1:35:17Speaker 1: you to understand something. When you're facing them, they don't
- 1:35:21Speaker 1: mind teaching and sharing, because most people of means are
- 1:35:26Speaker 1: great sharers and great teachers a Bishop Jake's, Joe Oldstein,
- 1:35:34Speaker 1: that brother that has the app out the hip hop
- 1:35:37Speaker 1: uh preacher Eric Eric Thomas brothers like that too, and
- 1:35:42Speaker 1: I listened to him man a lot of times. But
- 1:35:45Speaker 1: getting in front of them, taking their course or whatever
- 1:35:48Speaker 1: you might do. When you get in front of them,
- 1:35:50Speaker 1: they don't mind teaching and sharing. They will mind giving
- 1:35:54Speaker 1: you money. See, most people want to meet them mena
- 1:35:58Speaker 1: so they can present an idea to him and get
- 1:36:00Speaker 1: some financial help. That's the quickest way to run them
- 1:36:02Speaker 1: off because everybody is used to that. Do you have
- 1:36:08Speaker 1: any idea? How many times in a week I'm asked
- 1:36:11Speaker 1: for money? It's sickening. But if you come to me
- 1:36:15Speaker 1: and say, man, could you just give me a piece
- 1:36:17Speaker 1: of advice? I usually don't have no problem with that.
- 1:36:20Speaker 1: I got time for most anybody that wants some advice
- 1:36:24Speaker 1: wants me to share a wealth a piece of knowledge.
- 1:36:27Speaker 1: That's okay. So when you get to these people, have
- 1:36:31Speaker 1: a plan to be taught something. Ask him to teach
- 1:36:35Speaker 1: you to fish, not to give you a fish sandwich.
- 1:36:38Speaker 1: Ask him to teach you to fish. They don't have
- 1:36:41Speaker 1: a problem with that. Now in several ways to get
- 1:36:44Speaker 1: in front of them. But when you do get that,
- 1:36:46Speaker 1: when you finally do meet them and meet the main
- 1:36:48Speaker 1: as difficult as you think. Now, if you live in
- 1:36:51Speaker 1: you know, New York, and your mentor lives in the
- 1:36:53Speaker 1: l A, you're gonna to find a way to get
- 1:36:54Speaker 1: to l A. Oh, you gotta find out when you
- 1:36:56Speaker 1: come to New York. You gotta do some research. But
- 1:36:58Speaker 1: you have mentors close than that. You have somebody who's
- 1:37:03Speaker 1: a really well mentally balanced person that you need information from.
- 1:37:07Speaker 1: You have a person who seems to be doing really
- 1:37:09Speaker 1: well with a wife and their children you need information from.
- 1:37:13Speaker 1: Because it's all a balancing act. You can't be successful
- 1:37:15Speaker 1: in your business and while your family sitting over there,
- 1:37:18Speaker 1: struggling and in ruins is not going to work. Once
- 1:37:21Speaker 1: you learn the traits of success, it it filters over
- 1:37:24Speaker 1: into every other aspect of life. So you gotta have
- 1:37:26Speaker 1: a balance. You can find these people right here. Don't
- 1:37:30Speaker 1: ask them for money. People want to share and teach
- 1:37:35Speaker 1: and give you information. Everybody needs a mentor. You cannot
- 1:37:41Speaker 1: make it without mentorship. You know, there's an incredible saying,
- 1:37:47Speaker 1: and we ain't got to get into why so incredible.
- 1:37:50Speaker 1: But friendship is essential to the soul. You know why
- 1:37:56Speaker 1: friendship is so essential to the soul. I've lost my father,
- 1:38:00Speaker 1: my father, I've lost my brother, I've lost my best friend.
- 1:38:06Speaker 1: Before you can live your life without your mother, you
- 1:38:09Speaker 1: may have to eventually one day. You can live your
- 1:38:12Speaker 1: life without your father. You may eventually have to do that.
- 1:38:15Speaker 1: One day. You can live your life without your uncles
- 1:38:18Speaker 1: and your relatives. But you know what, it's very very
- 1:38:20Speaker 1: difficult to live your life without a friend. It is
- 1:38:24Speaker 1: very very difficult to live in this world with no friendship. Nowhere,
- 1:38:30Speaker 1: you man, you got. Friendship is essential to the soul.
- 1:38:38Speaker 1: Do not avoid mentoring. Don't try to do it all
- 1:38:42Speaker 1: by yourself, because nobody gets to the top by yourself.
- 1:38:45Speaker 1: There's no such thing as a self made man. You
