- 0:15Speaker 3: Black the million bus busby.
- 0:24Speaker 2: Listening to me, I don't Joy, yeah, Joy, they have set.
- 0:59Speaker 1: You gotta do that.
- 1:24Speaker 4: You gotta turn'd to turn the mouth the turn you
- 1:43Speaker 4: probably got to turn the mouth out.
- 1:46Speaker 1: The word of the money come come out, you think
- 2:02Speaker 1: I sure will. Good morning everybody you are listening to
- 2:05Speaker 1: the voice, come on, dig me down one and only.
- 2:09Speaker 1: Steve Harvey got a radio show. Man o, man o, man,
- 2:16Speaker 1: I just I have to tell you this. How good
- 2:22Speaker 1: is the God I serve? How amazing is he? That's
- 2:28Speaker 1: that's all I you know. And you know what, really, man,
- 2:30Speaker 1: when I try to explain how I feel about what
- 2:35Speaker 1: he does for me, really, the words that I come
- 2:38Speaker 1: up with, that they just they they inadequate. Man, They
- 2:40Speaker 1: don't they don't cut it. They really don't. You know,
- 2:43Speaker 1: I can say amazing. At one time, I even just
- 2:47Speaker 1: got that. I tried something real ignorant. One time, I
- 2:49Speaker 1: just said, you know, God is just super captual, fragilistic
- 2:52Speaker 1: as be all adocious. I just tried that. See how
- 2:54Speaker 1: that felt. That's that's all to change he is with me.
- 2:57Speaker 1: I just try to because see how that felt. But
- 2:59Speaker 1: then I I ain't feel right saying that's the fact
- 3:02Speaker 1: that he's amazing and awesome and he's an awesome God.
- 3:05Speaker 1: You hear people say that is It's bigger than that too, man.
- 3:08Speaker 1: So you know, as hard as I try, no matter
- 3:13Speaker 1: what I do every day, I'm gonna come up short
- 3:15Speaker 1: with trying to explain to you exactly how he works
- 3:18Speaker 1: and how he is for me. So I just thank
- 3:20Speaker 1: him that every day, every chance I get.
- 3:24Speaker 5: Here.
- 3:24Speaker 6: It is.
- 3:26Speaker 1: It is your determination and your effort. Listen to me carefully.
- 3:34Speaker 1: It is your determination and your effort. I think that
- 3:40Speaker 1: the average person, and I'm not knocking you, I just
- 3:43Speaker 1: want you to hear me out. I think what stops
- 3:45Speaker 1: the average person from becoming successful is that we don't
- 3:50Speaker 1: realize the effort that it takes. And that's just truth.
- 3:55Speaker 1: I found that to be so true in my life
- 3:58Speaker 1: and my talking to people and meeting people, and people
- 4:01Speaker 1: are asking me questions about it and me trying to
- 4:04Speaker 1: figure out the way myself. I don't think that you
- 4:09Speaker 1: really can comprehend the effort that it takes to become successful.
- 4:15Speaker 1: This is the thing that you have to wrap your
- 4:17Speaker 1: mind around very quickly if you want to be successful
- 4:21Speaker 1: on any level in any area. The dream is the beginning.
- 4:26Speaker 1: Good Lord, let me tell you something. The determination and
- 4:29Speaker 1: effort is massive. You cannot be overly concerned with sleep.
- 4:37Speaker 1: If you are a person who is always concerned about sleep,
- 4:42Speaker 1: gets success out your mind. Ain't fin to happen, Partner,
- 4:45Speaker 1: It's not fin to happen. You cannot be that concerned
- 4:49Speaker 1: about sleep. Now, listen to me. You have to get
- 4:52Speaker 1: your rest. But this was my philosophy. I'm just sharing
- 4:57Speaker 1: you with what how I did it. My philosophy was
- 5:02Speaker 1: I stopped being concerned about sleep. I got my rest,
- 5:07Speaker 1: but I got just enough to get back to it,
- 5:13Speaker 1: and I got back on the grind to hop in
- 5:14Speaker 1: the hustle. I got just enough rest so I could
- 5:19Speaker 1: go and put forth some more effort. But listen to me.
- 5:24Speaker 1: You cannot sleep a third of your life away and
- 5:27Speaker 1: expect to become successful. If you're not already successful. If
- 5:31Speaker 1: you are asleep for eight hours, that is a third
- 5:34Speaker 1: of your day. You cannot be asleep a third of
- 5:37Speaker 1: your life and expect to get successful. Now, after you
- 5:40Speaker 1: get successful, you know you learn as you go to
- 5:46Speaker 1: work smarter, not harder. So as you get successful, you
- 5:50Speaker 1: may have eight hours available to you. But on the
- 5:53Speaker 1: way up there, I don't see how you can do it,
- 5:55Speaker 1: I promise you. I don't. Now, maybe somebody can come
- 5:58Speaker 1: for it.
- 5:58Speaker 7: I did it.
- 5:59Speaker 1: Hey, yeah, probably lying. But okay, tell your story. Because
- 6:04Speaker 1: everybody I know that's successful that I've sat down and
- 6:08Speaker 1: had real talks with they wasn't concerned with sleeping. You
- 6:13Speaker 1: cannot be concerned with sleeping if you want to be successful.
- 6:17Speaker 1: How can this happen for you? Listen to me. The
- 6:22Speaker 1: effort that it requires is massive. It's an all out
- 6:25Speaker 1: of salt on your dream. Now you got to making assault.
- 6:29Speaker 1: It requires an all out of salt on it. And
- 6:32Speaker 1: you can't be sleeping. Fight at the same time. You
- 6:34Speaker 1: can't fight when you sleep.
- 6:37Speaker 8: Man.
- 6:37Speaker 1: I wish I could get y'all understand this right here.
- 6:40Speaker 1: Understand that the effort that is required to be successful
- 6:44Speaker 1: will take everything you have, and when you think you've
- 6:47Speaker 1: given your all, it's gonna require some more. The quality
- 6:53Speaker 1: of your chield is amazing. See okay, listen, what is
- 6:58Speaker 1: sitting around having a bill every day? Fault?
- 7:01Speaker 8: What?
- 7:02Speaker 1: But they's sitting around smoking weed for every day. Pa,
- 7:05Speaker 1: Come on, man, for real, But if you took that beer,
- 7:10Speaker 1: drinking weeds, smoking chill time and applied it to progressing
- 7:14Speaker 1: yourself towards your dream. When you do carve out of vacation,
- 7:19Speaker 1: guess where you be able to go. Guess what part
- 7:23Speaker 1: of the world you can go see. Guess how you
- 7:24Speaker 1: can chill out now instead of you just driving. Every
- 7:27Speaker 1: year your family to the family union, sit at the
- 7:30Speaker 1: same picnic table. Everybody pull they money in two and
- 7:33Speaker 1: ten families don't never pool they money in. They down
- 7:36Speaker 1: there eating like y'all eating. You got attitude cause because
- 7:40Speaker 1: the day or day side don't have a chip in
- 7:42Speaker 1: or not. They down there eating the extra potatoes at
- 7:44Speaker 1: and making places. You're not huguing about this every year
- 7:47Speaker 1: for real, man, They ain't got the T shirt money,
- 7:50Speaker 1: you know, they got the same T shirt on. They
- 7:52Speaker 1: ain't put in that really, man, so so so so
- 7:56Speaker 1: so you want that to be it every year? Or
- 7:59Speaker 1: do you want this year? I'm taking my family to
- 8:03Speaker 1: New Orleans. Oh, I'm taking my family see the Grand Canyon.
- 8:06Speaker 1: I'm taking my family down to the beach this year.
- 8:09Speaker 1: Me and me and my family gonna go sight See,
- 8:11Speaker 1: we're gonna go ride a couple of river on Chicago.
- 8:14Speaker 1: Me and my family gonna go skiing this year. Me
- 8:16Speaker 1: and me and my family going out to La Man
- 8:18Speaker 1: we go. We're gonna go out there for a weekend.
- 8:21Speaker 1: You know, you know it can happen like that. But
- 8:22Speaker 1: if you ain't working, listen to me. Average effort gets
- 8:31Speaker 1: average results. That's that's all it is to it. See,
- 8:38Speaker 1: ordinary effort gets ordinary results. But if you put forth
- 8:45Speaker 1: an extra effort. See, the only difference between extraordinary and
- 8:50Speaker 1: ordinary is one word, that's extra. If you do extra,
- 8:55Speaker 1: you can take ordinary right on over to extraordinary. Do
- 8:58Speaker 1: you understand you have to have a massive assault on
- 9:01Speaker 1: your dreams? Quit sitting up in here, man, trying to
- 9:04Speaker 1: chill all the time. I'm sorry, man, I wish I
- 9:07Speaker 1: could tell you another way, but it ain't one. Here's
- 9:10Speaker 1: what I did. I wasn't concerned about how much sleep
- 9:13Speaker 1: I got. I just had to get my rest. And
- 9:17Speaker 1: once I got enough rest to get up and get
- 9:20Speaker 1: the task done, I got up. Somebody sent me a
- 9:24Speaker 1: tweet the other day, a partner of mine. He said,
- 9:30Speaker 1: to see if I can pull it up. While I'm
- 9:31Speaker 1: talking to you. But he just sent me a little
- 9:33Speaker 1: sign just what nothing, just a little something to say,
- 9:36Speaker 1: Hey man, I ran across this, I thought about you,
- 9:39Speaker 1: and I sent it to you. It said no alarm
- 9:42Speaker 1: clock needed, My passion wakes me. It's in block print.
- 9:50Speaker 1: He said, no alarm clock needed, My passion wakes me.
- 9:56Speaker 1: That's what you got to be about.
- 9:58Speaker 9: Listening Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:03Speaker 1: Ladies and gentlemen, let me have your divided attention. Please,
- 10:06Speaker 1: this is the beginning of a new day. This at
- 10:08Speaker 1: the start of the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Let us
- 10:12Speaker 1: begin three two one. What's up?
- 10:16Speaker 8: Charlie?
- 10:17Speaker 10: Hey, what's up?
- 10:18Speaker 1: Steve?
- 10:19Speaker 8: Call?
- 10:21Speaker 1: What's going on?
- 10:22Speaker 8: Steve?
- 10:24Speaker 10: Junia?
- 10:24Speaker 11: They don't.
- 10:27Speaker 1: And then going on the porch, Doggy Doge.
- 10:34Speaker 9: You sound like you're on the porch and we're passing by.
- 10:42Speaker 1: Drive that drive a third boy. Oh you act like
- 10:52Speaker 1: you don't know no about it. Oh wait, you look
- 10:55Speaker 1: cute then, girl, I don't want a holiday you think
- 11:03Speaker 1: you hold now.
- 11:09Speaker 8: Like I love it.
- 11:12Speaker 1: If you think you know you know, I think I'm
- 11:14Speaker 1: gonna go down store. Give me a watermelon. Let me
- 11:19Speaker 1: when you all got to tell you the watermelon. When
- 11:21Speaker 1: you thump of watermelon? What you're listening for. No, I
- 11:24Speaker 1: don't think watermelons. Well, I know how to pick watermelons.
- 11:26Speaker 1: I thought you're supposed to thump them. No, dog, what
- 11:29Speaker 1: you're gonna tell you about the thumb? This is how
- 11:31Speaker 1: you pick a sweet watermelon. What is stem comes out
- 11:34Speaker 1: the bottom where it has to stem on it or
- 11:37Speaker 1: what it still used to be. If you see a
- 11:40Speaker 1: lot of you know those veins, Yeah, a little veins
- 11:45Speaker 1: on the outside, that sugar content, so that means it's
- 11:51Speaker 1: a sweet that's right, that's right.
- 11:54Speaker 8: Now.
- 11:54Speaker 1: You can pick a sweet one that don't have it
- 11:57Speaker 1: because like them dark green was don't oftentimes a lot
- 12:00Speaker 1: of veins. But when you pick them light green with
- 12:02Speaker 1: them long ones, huh yeah, you sah got that right
- 12:08Speaker 1: now when it got a lot of brown veins coming
- 12:12Speaker 1: around off that stalk, that stem, that sugar content. Oh boy,
- 12:18Speaker 1: now they thump them down south. I didn't Well, you know,
- 12:22Speaker 1: you don't. You don't know how to do that because
- 12:25Speaker 1: you don't buy enough of them. You don't grow them.
- 12:27Speaker 1: If you grow watermelon, you can thump them, but you
- 12:29Speaker 1: don't know what you're even looking Okay, when it thought
- 12:31Speaker 1: what you're looking for, I don't know I don't know
- 12:34Speaker 1: what I'm listening. So now you're just thumping you didn't
- 12:38Speaker 1: take this ragged ass watermelon right onto the house.
- 12:41Speaker 12: And are we are we doing seeds or seedless? Because
- 12:45Speaker 12: I like seeds?
- 12:46Speaker 1: No, see, there's no watermelon that don't have seeds in it.
- 12:50Speaker 1: Watermelons got seed.
- 12:52Speaker 9: But but yeah, but you know they have seedless watermelons.
- 12:55Speaker 1: That's genetic, you modified.
- 12:57Speaker 9: Surely I can read well a store like yeah, no.
- 13:02Speaker 1: But that then, but that ain't the real real watermelons
- 13:06Speaker 1: have seeds.
- 13:08Speaker 12: Oh that's what I think.
- 13:09Speaker 1: Let me tell you something. Go to Africa and you
- 13:11Speaker 1: be trying to find seedless watermelon whole time you over there.
- 13:15Speaker 12: Okay, seeds, I want the seeds.
- 13:19Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, just a little country lesson on how to
- 13:23Speaker 1: pick a watermelon because we buy we approaching watermelon season.
- 13:29Speaker 1: What is it exactly July to September? Your death watermelon
- 13:33Speaker 1: time come on.
- 13:34Speaker 7: Coming up at thirty two minutes after the hour, William
- 13:39Speaker 7: from the nephew, is he runs that frank back right after.
- 13:42Speaker 9: This you're listening morning show.
- 13:46Speaker 12: It is time now for the nephew to run that
- 13:48Speaker 12: prank back.
- 13:49Speaker 13: What you got for his neph This is three minute remarks. Shirley,
- 13:53Speaker 13: it's three minute remarks. These are for the people that
- 13:56Speaker 13: just don't know how to just get up there, say
- 14:00Speaker 13: words and get on down. They just I just don't
- 14:03Speaker 13: understand that they want to tell the whole life story
- 14:05Speaker 13: how this person was a part of their life.
- 14:08Speaker 1: So this is three minute remarks. Let's go get down.

- 14:45Speaker 8: a call because it's been brought to my attention that
- 14:51Speaker 8: you were going to be giving remarks for the funeral.
- 14:55Speaker 8: Is that correct? Yes? Absolutely, Okay. I wanted to call
- 15:00Speaker 8: on you because we're getting ready to print the programs
- 15:03Speaker 8: for the funeral and let you know that they have
- 15:07Speaker 8: taken you off for the remarks because they say that you're.
- 15:12Speaker 5: Not going to be Oh, hold on, what do you
- 15:16Speaker 5: mean taking me off.
- 15:18Speaker 8: Well, what I'm saying is they say that you're not
- 15:21Speaker 8: going to abide by the two three minute rule that
- 15:25Speaker 8: they have for remarks, and they wanted they've they've taken
- 15:27Speaker 8: you off.
- 15:29Speaker 14: And uh, who's they come come out?
- 15:34Speaker 8: Who? Who? What's the name again, Lawrence? I'm launch, I'm
- 15:39Speaker 8: the actual funeral director.
- 15:41Speaker 14: Lord, and who told you to take me off?
- 15:45Speaker 8: One of the one of the family members I'm assuming
- 15:48Speaker 8: is who who made the adjustment?
- 15:50Speaker 14: And an adjustment that ain't no adjustment, that's that's changing
- 15:54Speaker 14: the whole program.
- 15:55Speaker 8: Who else is on the list? I mean there's quite
- 15:58Speaker 8: a few family members doing differ and things throughout the funeral. Okay,
- 16:04Speaker 8: so how did you get to my name?
- 16:06Speaker 14: Is what I'm trying to figure out.
- 16:07Speaker 8: That they said that listen to me.
- 16:10Speaker 5: Listen, listen to me.
- 16:11Speaker 8: Listen to me, brother, keep listen to me. What they
- 16:13Speaker 8: said is that you weren't going to abide by the time,
- 16:18Speaker 8: you weren't going to do your remarks in three minutes
- 16:22Speaker 8: or less.
- 16:23Speaker 1: Listen, listen, listen, listen.
- 16:26Speaker 14: Miki raised me, he put me through college. And you
- 16:29Speaker 14: think I'm finna, I'm Finla goes down her funeral and
- 16:33Speaker 14: be under two minutes.
- 16:35Speaker 8: Well and well, listen, listen, brother Keith, Brother Keith, listen
- 16:39Speaker 8: to me. Normally, when we have these funerals, people who
- 16:43Speaker 8: give remarks, we have them three minutes or less. Okay, okay,
- 16:48Speaker 8: I'll tell you what.
- 16:49Speaker 1: I'll tell you what. Mister lost the list.

- 17:00Speaker 8: him off the list.
- 17:01Speaker 14: Take her off the list and put me where she's
- 17:03Speaker 14: supposed to be with my current and.
- 17:04Speaker 8: Her time is Bobby Bobby now, yes, Bobby Jr. Is
- 17:13Speaker 8: given remarks. That's that's that's Delorous. That's miss Delorus's son, right, Yes.
- 17:20Speaker 14: Their son, the one that get locked up.
- 17:22Speaker 8: He just got out of jail. The truth he told.
- 17:24Speaker 1: He's the one down there.
- 17:25Speaker 14: Put her in the coat. You needn't take him off
- 17:28Speaker 14: the list too. Give me all that time, because I mean,
- 17:31Speaker 14: if I ain't gonna take nothing that.
- 17:32Speaker 8: My brother Keith, let me let me let me just
- 17:34Speaker 8: say this to you. I cannot take Sheila or Bobby Jr. Off.
- 17:40Speaker 8: I can't make any alterations to this program unless they
- 17:44Speaker 8: say that.
- 17:45Speaker 14: Actually, sir, you already you already taking you already taking
- 17:50Speaker 14: people name off. You're taking my name off.

- 17:57Speaker 14: Day, who is days for having problems. They try to
- 18:01Speaker 14: take me off my Hotey program.
- 18:03Speaker 8: Who'll say, sir, I'm not gonna get into a family matter.
- 18:08Speaker 8: But until they say that you can do in a
- 18:11Speaker 8: family matter, sure, I'm not gonna. I don't wanna. I
- 18:14Speaker 8: don't want to have this. This turned out to be bad,
- 18:17Speaker 8: and we want to have a great homegoing for sister Delord. Okay,
- 18:22Speaker 8: damn right.
- 18:22Speaker 14: And if I don't get to say nothing, I guarantee you,
- 18:25Speaker 14: I guarantee you it's gonna be a tooth for one
- 18:27Speaker 14: in there. Somebody else is gonna get the in the
- 18:30Speaker 14: car for tooth. I guarantee you that if I don't
- 18:33Speaker 14: get to say nothing in my Auntie, if you know,
- 18:35Speaker 14: minst you didn't pay for them college. I didn't put
- 18:38Speaker 14: six thousand dollars.
- 18:40Speaker 8: I bet you.
- 18:41Speaker 14: I'll tell you this. I tell you this, mister Laws,
- 18:44Speaker 14: I bet you whether I'm on the program I'm not.
- 18:47Speaker 14: I bet you, I say with so I want to.
- 18:49Speaker 8: I bet you that much.

- 19:49Speaker 14: I'm kicking Bobby.
- 19:50Speaker 8: I know that my mother pressure is all up.
- 19:55Speaker 14: I ain't got time to be playing man taking me
- 19:57Speaker 14: off program.
- 20:03Speaker 8: Oh Mama said, y'all grew up like brothers man, and

- 20:46Speaker 1: not gonna even saying all right, thank you?
- 20:51Speaker 7: You coming up next to ask the CLO with our
- 20:53Speaker 7: Chief Love Officer Steve Harvey in the building. Right after this,
- 20:58Speaker 7: you're listening Harvey Morning Show. Okay, it is time for CLR.
- 21:05Speaker 7: We're going to ask the CLO Chief Love Officer Steve
- 21:08Speaker 7: Harvey in the building. Taylor in Virginia, Beach Rights. I'm
- 21:13Speaker 7: in my late twenties and I got married when I
- 21:15Speaker 7: was nineteen years old. Because I got pregnant. My husband's white.
- 21:19Speaker 7: I'm black and Asian. When my son was born, he
- 21:22Speaker 7: was very brown skinned, so my in laws wanted a
- 21:25Speaker 7: DNA test. Turns out my husband is not the father,
- 21:29Speaker 7: but he's never said a word about it to me
- 21:32Speaker 7: or our son. My son is eight now, and his
- 21:35Speaker 7: biological father has been asking to meet him for a
- 21:38Speaker 7: very long time. My husband freaks out whenever I bring
- 21:41Speaker 7: this subject up. Is it wrong to keep my son
- 21:46Speaker 7: from his father?
- 21:47Speaker 1: Absolutely? Absolutely?
- 21:50Speaker 6: Is it?
- 21:52Speaker 1: Absolutely?
- 21:53Speaker 5: Is?
- 21:56Speaker 1: Absolutely is the fact that you told you Look, I
- 22:02Speaker 1: don't know if you told your son that he has
- 22:05Speaker 1: a different biological father. But is it wrong to keep
- 22:10Speaker 1: your son from this man? It absolutely one, and there's nothing,
- 22:16Speaker 1: no debate or question about it. It is wrong and
- 22:19Speaker 1: there is no justification to it. None. Well, so I
- 22:27Speaker 1: admire your husband for standing up and and and taking
- 22:30Speaker 1: it and standing up and being that stand up guy,
- 22:33Speaker 1: because he is one hell of a dude. Your husband is.
- 22:37Speaker 1: And I understand him not wanting to ruffle a boat
- 22:40Speaker 1: and all this here. I understand that. But this boy
- 22:44Speaker 1: should know his father, and his father should know his
- 22:46Speaker 1: son period. All Right, Taylor, It's going to be difficult
- 22:51Speaker 1: and challenging, but those that's the rule of life.
- 22:55Speaker 9: Yeah, yeah, all right.
- 22:56Speaker 7: Moving on to Chevelle in Montgomery, Belle says, my husband
- 23:01Speaker 7: and my mother are thick as thieves, and I think she's.
- 23:03Speaker 9: Allowing my husband to cheat on me.
- 23:05Speaker 7: My mother's house is the gambling spot in our community
- 23:08Speaker 7: and all of the drunks hang out there. I saw
- 23:11Speaker 7: on Facebook that one of my husband's exes was at
- 23:14Speaker 7: my mom's recently and posted a picture with my husband
- 23:17Speaker 7: in the background. I cursed my husband out, and he
- 23:19Speaker 7: said it was innocent. My mother told me I overreacted,
- 23:23Speaker 7: did I?
- 23:25Speaker 1: Well, if it's your mama's gambling spot, your mama making money,
- 23:30Speaker 1: chafe and run. I'm just gonna keep it one hundred
- 23:34Speaker 1: with you, mature. Yeah, it's bigger than that picture there
- 23:41Speaker 1: in that gambling and vine looking you know how it
- 23:44Speaker 1: is in the hood, as speaks as after I joined
- 23:47Speaker 1: everything closed, they go over there kind of like a
- 23:50Speaker 1: like a low budget basement tavern, and it's a gambling house.
- 23:54Speaker 1: Ain't nowhere you can go gamble sect casinos, So no,
- 23:57Speaker 1: I think it's absolutely I don't you know your mama.
- 24:03Speaker 1: I don't think your mama is allowing him to cheat.
- 24:06Speaker 1: I don't even know if cheating is involved in this
- 24:08Speaker 1: at all. But your mama got a gambling house.
- 24:11Speaker 12: What are his exes doing over there?
- 24:13Speaker 1: Though they both well you know, I mean she over
- 24:16Speaker 1: there gambling buying dreams. Yeah, mama trying to make money.
- 24:23Speaker 4: Weird about this?
- 24:24Speaker 1: Facebook?
- 24:26Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 24:27Speaker 1: All him?
- 24:32Speaker 7: My husband's over there with his ex all right, Sophia
- 24:38Speaker 7: and Albuquerque says.
- 24:40Speaker 9: My husband is twenty nine. I'm twenty seven.
- 24:42Speaker 7: He works as a retail manager and I work from
- 24:44Speaker 7: home with my own sex video chat room. I make
- 24:48Speaker 7: a lot of money and my husband doesn't mind it
- 24:51Speaker 7: since it's all online. I've been able to help buy
- 24:53Speaker 7: us a new house on my earnings, and I wanted
- 24:55Speaker 7: to work more hours so I could pay off my
- 24:57Speaker 7: student loans and build up our sale. Then I plan
- 25:01Speaker 7: to get a decent job. My husband won't allow me
- 25:04Speaker 7: to take on more hours. We're still young. So am
- 25:08Speaker 7: I wrong for trying to stack money?
- 25:11Speaker 2: Good question.
- 25:13Speaker 1: Well, you're not wrong for trying to stack money. You
- 25:15Speaker 1: just have to ask you a question. Is stacking money?
- 25:18Speaker 1: Is at what expense? I don't see how he's okay
- 25:22Speaker 1: with it up to this point. Yeah, but and now
- 25:26Speaker 1: you want to do more hours. He don't want you
- 25:28Speaker 1: to do more hours. I think you've accomplished a lot
- 25:32Speaker 1: with it right now. You know, kind of like a
- 25:35Speaker 1: drug dealer that finally gets a wrap record deal.
- 25:39Speaker 9: You know, goes legit.
- 25:40Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, you know, you just got to quit selling
- 25:43Speaker 1: dope at one point in time while you're gonna get busted. Now.
- 25:46Speaker 1: I'm not saying that what you're doing is illegal. I
- 25:48Speaker 1: don't know nothing about it. I ain't never been on one.
- 25:50Speaker 1: But what is you saying where you can buy a house.
- 25:52Speaker 9: Though she made enough money that she could buy a house.
- 25:57Speaker 1: No, no, no, that's not the question.
- 25:59Speaker 12: He's saying, what is what is she doing on this show?
- 26:01Speaker 1: What is you talking about? Okay, what did you say?
- 26:07Speaker 1: I'm trying to figure out what you could say to
- 26:09Speaker 1: me to help make you buy a house on line
- 26:13Speaker 1: makes a lot of money?
- 26:15Speaker 6: Lot?
- 26:16Speaker 9: Who are you talking to the student loans? Yeah, well
- 26:21Speaker 9: she's saying a lot. What she's saying a lot?
- 26:24Speaker 1: She's looking.
- 26:25Speaker 7: Yeah, she's saying a lot. It's a video, a video,
- 26:30Speaker 7: sex video, chat room.
- 26:33Speaker 9: A lot going on? All right, we're moving on.
- 26:38Speaker 7: Money in Tampa, says or Amony in Tampa says I'm
- 26:42Speaker 7: forty eight and I've been married eleven years.
- 26:45Speaker 9: But my wife and I live in separate houses.
- 26:47Speaker 7: She never sold her house, and in the beginning of
- 26:50Speaker 7: our marriage, we argued more than we made love, so
- 26:53Speaker 7: she basically decided we'd live in separate houses.
- 26:56Speaker 9: It has worked out fine, but our family and friends
- 26:58Speaker 9: think we're nuts.
- 27:00Speaker 6: Though.
- 27:00Speaker 7: My wife has been going to bed really early in
- 27:03Speaker 7: changing the locks in her house. I think the distance
- 27:06Speaker 7: has made her forget about me. Should I tell her
- 27:08Speaker 7: it's time to end this arrangement?
- 27:11Speaker 1: Yeah? I think she didn't changed the lots. She's going
- 27:16Speaker 1: to bed. Y'all ain't married, No damn one. I just
- 27:20Speaker 1: y'all just know each other on paper, going to bed early,
- 27:27Speaker 1: changing locks. Don't even come over here, not because now
- 27:30Speaker 1: she don't want you creeping in in that night.
- 27:32Speaker 9: Yeah, in her space.
- 27:37Speaker 1: So what should he do? What should he do?
- 27:40Speaker 8: Go fu?
- 27:42Speaker 1: She gon sign him? What y'all together for. Y'all ain't
- 27:46Speaker 1: got to worry about who get the house. Y'all both
- 27:49Speaker 1: keep your own house. That's the biggest cut, is that house.
- 27:55Speaker 1: If somebody lost her foe, yeah, just gold, don't even
- 27:58Speaker 1: worry about that. She gonna keep her house. You keep
- 28:02Speaker 1: your house. Irreconcilable differences, y'all get divorced with seven to fifty.
- 28:06Speaker 1: Y'all ain't got no ass.
- 28:09Speaker 12: Yes, all right, thank you, Cello. You're listening.
- 28:13Speaker 9: Morning show.
- 28:16Speaker 7: It's time for something funny and Jay. This is about
- 28:20Speaker 7: stuff you say to your neighbors under your breath. Please explain.

- 28:33Speaker 6: insulting things, like, hey, how doing clell.

- 35:01Speaker 7: Morning show, and it's time now for a round of
- 35:04Speaker 7: would you rather? Would you rather be reincarnated as an
- 35:10Speaker 7: animal as a human again?
- 35:13Speaker 1: Coming back as no damn animal.
- 35:16Speaker 9: But if you came back as an animal, oh.
- 35:19Speaker 1: Just I signed. I don't know. Time, got to find
- 35:23Speaker 1: something to eat. I ain't got no money, I ain't
- 35:26Speaker 1: coming down in here, ain't got no money. I've done

- 35:33Speaker 1: will already been an animal. Yeah, we ain't doing that.
- 35:37Speaker 1: No damn well, not with no money, no law. I
- 35:40Speaker 1: don't want no parts of that. I want to be
- 35:42Speaker 1: involved in currency exchange at some point. I hope somebody
- 35:47Speaker 1: set a bowl of milk out man.
- 35:49Speaker 12: Hell all right, okay, moving on?
- 35:54Speaker 7: Would you rather not speak for an entire year or
- 35:58Speaker 7: would you rather not hear for an entire year?
- 36:02Speaker 1: If I can't hear, then am I speaking? I don't
- 36:05Speaker 1: get it, and I'm gonna tell you right now. If
- 36:08Speaker 1: you can't hear, you sure gone sounds to it when
- 36:15Speaker 1: you used to hear. You know, I have trouble pronouncing
- 36:19Speaker 1: words and I can hear them. Boy, if I can't hear,
- 36:21Speaker 1: you can hear? What is his ass talking? I think
- 36:28Speaker 1: I want to hear. Okay, so you can type, right,
- 36:32Speaker 1: But if you can't hear, no, man, I can't. But
- 36:36Speaker 1: not talking for a year a lot of writing, though
- 36:41Speaker 1: I can't tell you a lot of writing, A lot
- 36:44Speaker 1: of writing. I can't tear you the money I'm gonna
- 36:47Speaker 1: be missing out on. I can't talk. Yeah, yeah, right,
- 36:51Speaker 1: these sets and hold them up a lot of text custods,
- 36:59Speaker 1: a lot of texts. All right, guys.
- 37:02Speaker 7: Would you rather climb the highest mountain or swim the
- 37:06Speaker 7: deepest sea?
- 37:07Speaker 8: Ah?
- 37:08Speaker 1: Man, why back upon that mountain? I'm gonna die in
- 37:11Speaker 1: that water. That's for day. I can't get in that water, man,
- 37:15Speaker 1: But but I can't handle heights because of I get
- 37:18Speaker 1: out to too sickness. Yeah, what you gonna do? So
- 37:21Speaker 1: we're gonna down the way up or down the way down?
- 37:27Speaker 1: Like like, yeah, I'm not I'm not finna do that though, Okay,
- 37:32Speaker 1: that don't make no sense. I don't even want up there.
- 37:35Speaker 1: I don't even know. It would mean nothing for me
- 37:38Speaker 1: to stick a flag in the top of every nothing.
- 37:42Speaker 12: So then you're going to the deepest seas.
- 37:45Speaker 1: Yeah, but I can't swim, So hell I swim, but
- 37:48Speaker 1: I ain't going way down now.
- 37:51Speaker 12: All right, that's today's round. Would you rather come in?
- 37:55Speaker 1: We didn't like today?
- 38:00Speaker 9: You're listening Harty Morning Show.
- 38:04Speaker 7: Have you ever had a small brain malfunction on the
- 38:09Speaker 7: snide inappropriate remark you meant to say to yourself actually
- 38:14Speaker 7: came out of your mouth, you know, like we always
- 38:16Speaker 7: say inside.
- 38:17Speaker 9: Voice, outside voice? Did I say that aloud?
- 38:21Speaker 1: Stuff like that?
- 38:22Speaker 12: So, Steve, I know you have but we're in start
- 38:26Speaker 12: would Yeah, we'll get to you last.
- 38:28Speaker 7: So what have you blurted out in public that you
- 38:31Speaker 7: thought was just one of your inner thought monologues?
- 38:34Speaker 6: Jay, I'll go first. I was having a party this
- 38:38Speaker 6: one time, which I don't like parties at mouse, but
- 38:41Speaker 6: I let the person I was dating to have a
- 38:44Speaker 6: party at the house for me. A party shit in
- 38:47Speaker 6: at nine thirty and the party.
- 38:49Speaker 11: Should be old. Yeah, nine damn thirty? You've eaten? You've
- 38:54Speaker 11: heard music?
- 38:56Speaker 10: What time?
- 38:57Speaker 8: Yeah? Right?
- 38:59Speaker 11: So I thought I was talking to her and I
- 39:02Speaker 11: yelled out when they taking their ass home.
- 39:05Speaker 6: Not everybody everybody had the party heard me, and that
- 39:12Speaker 6: ended the party. The party did ended. Well, that's what
- 39:17Speaker 6: you wanted, which is what I wanted. So anyway, that's
- 39:22Speaker 6: I blurted.
- 39:23Speaker 11: When the hell it going home?
- 39:29Speaker 1: All right?
- 39:29Speaker 12: Nephew, come on, I knew you have a few.
- 39:32Speaker 1: Oh, I got born and I canna you got heels
- 39:35Speaker 1: a little cool party. I said it. I said it,
- 39:40Speaker 1: I thought, said, wife, Your wife is flying as hell.
- 39:54Speaker 15: God you live to tell that story, right, all right?
- 40:02Speaker 15: Come on, Steve, I know you have one.
- 40:05Speaker 1: I got a bunch of them. I was about since
- 40:09Speaker 1: I was about sixteen. That was about sixteen, and we
- 40:13Speaker 1: was all in the backyard barbecue and uh, you know,
- 40:18Speaker 1: it was time to eat. So you know, they had
- 40:19Speaker 1: the little table set up in the back and you
- 40:23Speaker 1: just kind of went around and you know, pulled a
- 40:26Speaker 1: little Surrey wrap off and took a dip, you know,
- 40:29Speaker 1: put put food on your plate. And I'm walking around
- 40:31Speaker 1: and put your food on the plate. And I just said, man,
- 40:35Speaker 1: I can't stand these damn pats. My aunt was standing
- 40:41Speaker 1: back there and said, that's cause there ain't no damn
- 40:43Speaker 1: baked beans. That's chili. The hell mixed chili them summer time.
- 40:53Speaker 1: Them baked beans was so trifling. I said, I can't
- 40:57Speaker 1: stand here. Baked beans can stay back.
- 41:05Speaker 9: All basically about inside outside boys. Just something you said aloud.
- 41:12Speaker 12: But you really thought you were saying it to yourself.
- 41:15Speaker 11: Come on, Jay, you got another one.
- 41:17Speaker 8: Okay.
- 41:17Speaker 6: So this other time we were having a party. I
- 41:20Speaker 6: let another party at the house and so the wine
- 41:26Speaker 6: was really cheap wine, you know. So I yelled out,

- 44:11Speaker 13: it's just a matter of time, you know, uh, uh
- 44:14Speaker 13: when I feel like I'm ready to actually join.
- 44:17Speaker 1: But I ain't gonna lie.
- 44:18Speaker 8: Man.
- 44:19Speaker 13: I'm calling you because I got a bit of an
- 44:20Speaker 13: issue about, uh, about something I've been noticing for the
- 44:24Speaker 13: last three weeks that's been going on in the church,
- 44:26Speaker 13: and I wanted to uh, you know, I had to

- 44:54Speaker 13: just go completely out when she getting ready to sing.
- 44:56Speaker 1: And I'm like, what, this don't make no sense, you know.
- 44:59Speaker 5: So, man, I ain't been It's not like I'm timing it.
- 45:02Speaker 6: I don't know.

- 45:05Speaker 5: You know, we just got to work for what we got.
- 45:07Speaker 5: I mean, it's not like I'm sitting there trying to
- 45:10Speaker 5: sing about your cousin. Sometimes the MIC's get a glitch, man,
- 45:13Speaker 5: But see.
- 45:13Speaker 1: But see that. But see that's my problem.
- 45:15Speaker 8: Though.
- 45:15Speaker 13: The problem I'm having is the glitch happening every single
- 45:18Speaker 13: time my cousin get the mic. You know, that's the
- 45:21Speaker 13: problem I'm having. Like, Okay, so every time the trees
- 45:23Speaker 13: get up there the same then you know, the mic
- 45:26Speaker 13: go out. I didn't came three weeks straight. I ain't

- 52:06Speaker 12: Right here, right now.
- 52:08Speaker 1: Yeah, buckle up, hold on tight, we got it for
- 52:11Speaker 1: you here.
- 52:11Speaker 7: It is the Strawberry letna subject I don't mind working
- 52:15Speaker 7: over time. Dear Stephen Shirley. I am a twenty nine
- 52:18Speaker 7: year old single woman with a great job, but I
- 52:22Speaker 7: have an issue with a co worker. I went to
- 52:25Speaker 7: a local bar a couple of weeks ago and had
- 52:27Speaker 7: a few drinks.
- 52:28Speaker 12: I noticed a.
- 52:29Speaker 7: Man and a woman in the corner cuddling, and I
- 52:31Speaker 7: didn't think anything of it at all At first. Later on,
- 52:34Speaker 7: I went to the bathroom and passed a couple and
- 52:36Speaker 7: realized it was two of my coworkers in the corner.
- 52:40Speaker 12: Bowed up.
- 52:41Speaker 7: Both of them are married, and when they saw me,
- 52:45Speaker 7: they instantly took their arms off each other and separated.
- 52:49Speaker 7: They spoke, and when I left out of the bathroom,
- 52:51Speaker 7: they were gone. I was a little surprised that they
- 52:54Speaker 7: didn't at least ask how my night was going, or
- 52:57Speaker 7: asked me to join them for a drink. That let
- 53:00Speaker 7: me know that they were clearly up to something. I
- 53:04Speaker 7: suppose it could have been platonic, since they weren't kissing,
- 53:08Speaker 7: but why were they out alone late at night in
- 53:11Speaker 7: the corner of this bar. So now I obviously need
- 53:15Speaker 7: your advice. No, I don't plan to tell anybody what
- 53:19Speaker 7: I saw. I'd much rather keep their secret to myself
- 53:22Speaker 7: because I want a chance to be.
- 53:23Speaker 1: With the guy too.
- 53:25Speaker 7: I've had a crush on him for years, and now
- 53:28Speaker 7: that I know he's a cheater, I want to see
- 53:31Speaker 7: what he's working with. I think I should have a turn.
- 53:34Speaker 7: I have spent many nights fantasizing about all the nasty
- 53:37Speaker 7: things i'd do to him if I ever got a
- 53:39Speaker 7: chance I've lost count of all the sexual dreams I've
- 53:42Speaker 7: had about him over the years, and.
- 53:44Speaker 1: I think, thank you, I knew it.
- 53:48Speaker 7: Over the years, and I think it's time to get
- 53:49Speaker 7: my man. He is already having an affair, So how
- 53:54Speaker 7: should I let him know that he can have me too?
- 53:56Speaker 7: I don't mind putting in a little overtime with this man.
- 54:00Speaker 12: So there you go.
- 54:03Speaker 1: One question for you.
- 54:05Speaker 12: Are you crazy?
- 54:06Speaker 1: Are you crazy? I think you are.
- 54:09Speaker 7: Didn't you say this man was married? Didn't you say
- 54:11Speaker 7: you've been working here for years? I mean that means
- 54:14Speaker 7: he's got a wife.
- 54:16Speaker 1: He's cheating on his wife.
- 54:18Speaker 12: You don't get that or care about that. Why would
- 54:21Speaker 12: you put yourself through that?
- 54:23Speaker 1: Why would you do this? Plus you guys all work together.
- 54:26Speaker 12: That could be so messy.
- 54:27Speaker 7: He's already working with another coworker. Usually that sort of
- 54:32Speaker 7: thing is prohibited on the job. The funny thing is
- 54:36Speaker 7: that you said they didn't ask you to join them
- 54:39Speaker 7: for a drink, and that let you know that when
- 54:43Speaker 7: you saw them, they were clearly up to something.
- 54:46Speaker 1: Yes they were. They were.
- 54:47Speaker 7: They separated when they saw you, and then they left
- 54:50Speaker 7: after that. I got to ask you where's your self esteem?
- 54:53Speaker 7: Because you said since he's already having an affair, you
- 54:56Speaker 7: want to let him know that he can have you too.
- 54:58Speaker 12: Really, what's yourself worth?
- 55:00Speaker 15: You should know that, you know you could do better.
- 55:04Speaker 7: You could do a lot better than this somebody else's husband.
- 55:07Speaker 7: I don't even mind you having fun. You say, why
- 55:10Speaker 7: shouldn't you have a little fun too. You can have fun,
- 55:12Speaker 7: but get your own man to have fun with That's
- 55:16Speaker 7: the moral of the story.
- 55:17Speaker 9: Get your own man to have fun with this with here,
- 55:21Speaker 9: at this job.
- 55:22Speaker 12: This is craziness right here.
- 55:24Speaker 7: This man is married, this woman is married, and now
- 55:26Speaker 7: here you are are trying to get something started. No,
- 55:29Speaker 7: you're not gonna say anything because you want them for yourself.
- 55:31Speaker 7: But how do you think that's really gonna work out?
- 55:34Speaker 1: Really, Steve Well, let me just start by saying, this
- 55:41Speaker 1: letter took one hell of a twist. Yes it did.
- 55:44Speaker 1: It's spurn on me so damn quick I had to
- 55:47Speaker 1: quit writing my reply. I was all sitting ready. First
- 55:53Speaker 1: of all, twenty nine great job. Got an issue with
- 55:57Speaker 1: a coworker, went to this ball, saw people in the couple,
- 56:01Speaker 1: couple in the corner all cuddle up. Later on, you
- 56:05Speaker 1: go to the bathroom and then you realize that the
- 56:07Speaker 1: couple with some coworkers. They all booed up and both
- 56:11Speaker 1: of them made When they saw me, they instantly took
- 56:13Speaker 1: their arms off each other and separated. You know, they spoke,
- 56:18Speaker 1: and when I came out the bathroom, they were gone.
- 56:21Speaker 1: I was a little surprised. They didn't asked how my
- 56:24Speaker 1: night was going on, asked me to join for a drink.
- 56:26Speaker 1: Now right now, I'm thinking, how stupid is shit? And
- 56:31Speaker 1: then you know, she went on that let me know
- 56:33Speaker 1: that they was clearly up to something. You think, So
- 56:39Speaker 1: I'm reading this letter that I'm going this letter is
- 56:41Speaker 1: actually written by a stupid person. So I said that
- 56:47Speaker 1: this letter gonna be easy to answer. I got this
- 56:49Speaker 1: right here. You know, some stuff like this ain't your
- 56:52Speaker 1: damn business. You know, don't nobody want to have you
- 56:57Speaker 1: in the corner drinking with them and telling they business.
- 56:59Speaker 8: But then.
- 57:02Speaker 1: It started turning. And the next thing I noticed then
- 57:09Speaker 1: it got a little more stupid for a turn. You know,
- 57:11Speaker 1: I guess they could be platanic since they wasn't kissing.
- 57:16Speaker 1: But then here when it's stupid it he came in.
- 57:18Speaker 1: But why were they out alone late at night in.
- 57:23Speaker 8: The corner of this bar?
- 57:26Speaker 1: Then she said, so I obviously need your adikes that
- 57:28Speaker 1: right there. That's where I was, Finn, go mind your
- 57:30Speaker 1: damn busins, go on bout your business, shut your damn mouth,
- 57:34Speaker 1: all that stuff right there. Then she's talking about I
- 57:39Speaker 1: don't plan to tell anybody for what I saw, So
- 57:41Speaker 1: I said, okay, I ain't got to tell of them.
- 57:43Speaker 1: Mind her damn bus to shut your damn mouth. Then
- 57:47Speaker 1: she said I'd rather keep their secret to myself, and
- 57:51Speaker 1: then the letter just clicked. Because I want a chance
- 57:56Speaker 1: with the guy too. I've had a crush on him
- 58:01Speaker 1: for years, and now that I know he'll Cheatah, I
- 58:04Speaker 1: want to see what he's working with.
- 58:06Speaker 8: What the.
- 58:09Speaker 1: Hell happened here? Well? Are you going with this letter?
- 58:16Speaker 1: Me and Shanny don't feel like getting our minds and
- 58:21Speaker 1: things twisted up and wrapped up in some ignorant ass
- 58:24Speaker 1: letter like this. Hang, and I will attempt to do
- 58:27Speaker 1: so right after the break.
- 58:29Speaker 8: All right?
- 58:30Speaker 7: Part two Steve's response coming up in twenty three after
- 58:33Speaker 7: the hour. Subject of today's Strawberry Letter.
- 58:35Speaker 12: I don't mind working over time. We'll get back into
- 58:37Speaker 12: it right after this.
- 58:39Speaker 9: You're listening Harvey Morning Show.
- 58:42Speaker 7: All right, Steve, let's recap today's strawberry letter, subject I
- 58:46Speaker 7: don't mind working over time.
- 58:47Speaker 1: You know well, the subject of the letter is I
- 58:51Speaker 1: don't mind working over time. After reading this letter, I
- 58:56Speaker 1: think to let title of this letter should be I'm
- 59:00Speaker 1: a nutty helfer? What you think? One more time, I'm
- 59:08Speaker 1: a nutty helfer? What you think? Woman twenty nine years old,
- 59:12Speaker 1: got a good job, go to the bar one night
- 59:14Speaker 1: to have a drink. She noticed this couple in the corner,
- 59:16Speaker 1: all bowed up, cuddle up. She don't pay no attention
- 59:19Speaker 1: to it. She walked to the bathroom. She looks in
- 59:21Speaker 1: the corner. She realized that the couple.
- 59:23Speaker 6: Is booed up.
- 59:24Speaker 1: Is a couple of coworkers from her job, and they
- 59:28Speaker 1: in the corner in the dark. Why are they in
- 59:30Speaker 1: the corner, be WHI because both of them is married.
- 59:34Speaker 1: And then when you spoke to him, but when you
- 59:36Speaker 1: came out the bathroom, they was gone. She was a
- 59:39Speaker 1: little surprised that they didn't speak to her and ask
- 59:42Speaker 1: her did she want a drink? They just left, So
- 59:46Speaker 1: I was gonna tell her they ain't your business. Then
- 59:48Speaker 1: she said, I don't keep the secret to myself and everything.
- 59:51Speaker 1: I'm not gonna tell nobody, but you know, since he
- 59:54Speaker 1: married I found out here Cheetah, I want a chance
- 59:58Speaker 1: at him too. Wow, I love it, which goes back
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: to the title of my letter. I'm a nutty helper.
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: What do you think? Well, Nutty, let's go and get
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: into it, she said, So obviously I need your advice.
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: I don't plan to tell anybody what I saw. I
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: much rather keep a secret to myself because I want
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: a chance with the guy too. I've had a crush
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: on him for years, and now that I know he's
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: a Cheaterah, I want to see what he's working with.
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: I think I should have a turn. What I spent
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: many nights fantasizing about all the nasty things I do
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: to him if I ever got a chance. I've lost
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: count of all the sexual dreams I've had about him
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: over the years. That I think it's time to get
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: my man. He already having an affair, So how should
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: I let him know that he can have me too?
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: I don't mind putting it in a little over time
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: with this man. Well, let's just gonna get down to
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: this letter. Since you've known this man for years and
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: he has not said anything to you, and he is
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: a Cheatah, come on, let's wonder why has he not
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: said nothing to you? Well, let's think about this. If
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: you a man that's a known serial cheater and you
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: are in the cheap business, do you not look for
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: opportunities to cheat?
- 1:01:37Speaker 8: Now?
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: Why after these years of on the job, has he
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: overlooked you? Well, now we must face the truth, break
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: it down. Maybe when he looked over there, has it
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: crossed your mind that he don't want to cheat?
- 1:01:59Speaker 8: Which?
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: Maybe, Oh, here we go. You ain't Cheatoh material lord?
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: You you already single? Ain't nobody asked you to marry?
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: But now ain't nobody asked you to cheat with them?
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: On the side? What do you look like?
- 1:02:29Speaker 12: You gotta break it down?
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: Step? What do you wear to work? You have to
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: break it downs? What when you owe your mouth? What
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: come out? Because it's nutting? This in this letter and
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: you type this with it was spelling correct on it
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: and everything. I can't imagine what you then said on
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: your job? Why would not have confessed cheato? Serial cheato
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: asked you to cheat with him? Not ask you the
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: cheat one?
- 1:03:04Speaker 9: What is wrong with you?
- 1:03:10Speaker 5: Now?
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: In this letter? She said? How can I make it
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: known to him? That he can have me too. Well,
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: you might mess around and find out that he don't
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: want you. Many years he ain't said a damn thing
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: to you. You don't flirt with you. You that had
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: a lot of nasty, fantasisical dreams about him. But has
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: he dreamed about you?
- 1:03:38Speaker 15: What kind of nasty?
- 1:03:39Speaker 8: What dream?
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: Nasty fantasizical. See, that's fanticizical. Sure, those are dreams that
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: you fantasized with a physicality aspect attached to it. Fantasizical dream.
- 1:03:54Speaker 12: I wanted to be clear.
- 1:03:55Speaker 11: I'm clear.
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: That's an advert slash adjective. Yes, yes, yeah, it's a
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: description an action. At the same time, he don't want you, nuddie,
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: I think Monday morning yaard to just walk in there
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: and just say, hey, I saw you at the bar
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: with her. How about me too? Just get your face

- 1:16:38Speaker 1: of I get out to two sickness.
- 1:16:41Speaker 8: Yeah, what you gonna do?
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: So we're gonna down the way up or down the
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: way down like like different. Yeah, I'm not I'm not
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: finna do that though. Okay, that doesn't make no sense.
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: I don't even want up there. I don't even know.
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: It would mean nothing for me to stick a flag
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: in the top of everything. Nothing.
- 1:17:03Speaker 12: So then you're going to the deepest seas?
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: Yeah, but I can't swim. So hell I swim, but
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: I ain't going wait down now.

- 1:17:24Speaker 7: break of the day, and Steve Harvey will close out
- 1:17:27Speaker 7: the show right after that.
- 1:17:29Speaker 9: You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:17:33Speaker 7: Here we go last break of the day with the
- 1:17:36Speaker 7: man of the hour, the last four hours to be exact,
- 1:17:38Speaker 7: the one and only Steve Harvey.
- 1:17:40Speaker 9: Step on up to the mic for you're closing.
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: You know what, I just want to talk to you
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: all about something about other people as well as yourself.
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: I want you to realize something that you got to
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: just hang in that, folks. You just gotta hang in
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: that because where you are is so very temporary. It
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: matters not where you are, It only matters where you headed.
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: You're going somewhere. Remember that everything you're going through is
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: God preparing you for what you ask for. But you're
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: in the process. You are in the midst of being processed.
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: All of us are. If you are trying to get
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: to the next level, you have to be processed into
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: that next level. You can't just go to the next level.
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: You can't go to the tenth grade without finishing the
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: ninth grade. You can't go to college without being there
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: with a high school diploma. You can't. You just you
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: gotta go through the process, you know. So what I'm
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: getting at is this, don't get down on yourself because
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: you're going through a period in your life, and this
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: period is kind of challenging for you like it is
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: right now. There are a lot of people right now
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: going through some challenging moments in their life, and it's
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: getting to be a little bit daunting at times. And
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: you're starting to feel a little bit overwhelmed by it
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: all because you're sitting there and you're thinking, Man, I
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: done had enough of this. Lord where you at? I
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: don't got to learn this lesson? No, mom, if you
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: could just come on, I got it, fix me, rescue me,
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: deliver me, give me the blessing that I've been praying for.
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: You keep asking and then you start to get a
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: little defeated because it ain't happening in your time. That
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: happens to you. Well, it happens to other people too,
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: and you gotta be careful how you treat other people
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: because they may not always be in that position for long.
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: Do you know how many people I know who just
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: did me wrong when I was on the way coming up?
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: You have any idea The number of people who were
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: discouraging to me on my way up. They had no idea,
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: you know, I mean, any people bad mouth for me,
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: bad mouth you on your way up, They don't have
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: any idea. Who you really are. Do you know how
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: many people throwing dirt on you thinking they bringing you harm?
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: They don't even realize what they do, And they don't know,
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: because you know what they do. It they judging you.
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: They judging you based on a season. They judging you
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: based on a period that you're in. Now, you gotta
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: be careful when you're judging people because of a period
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: they're going through, because that period is just the season.
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: This down moment that you have is just the season.
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: And just like the seasons change, this too shall change.
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: Just like seasons past, this too shall pass. Somebody sent
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: me something one day that said, never judge somebody based
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: on a season, and I started thinking about it and
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: they went on. So I kept reading what they said
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: and they were just talking about it. Man, it was
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: so true. They said one season David was a shepherd,
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: but the next season he was a king. But you
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: know how they played David on the way up? Oh,
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: they wouldn't they. They wouldn't volunteer David for nothing, They
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: wouldn't suggest David for nothing. He was just a little
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: shepherd boy. David can't be the one to go down
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: there and get that giant. We ain't gonna bring David up.
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: David went from a shepherd to a king. One season,
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: Ruth was working in the field. The next season she
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: was owning the same field. It's just where a guy sitting.
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: It's just biblical, you know stories that's out there that
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: really if you're a person of faith, it matters to you.
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: If you're not a person of faith, this is not
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: for you, but it's okay. I didn't know you was listening.
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: One season, Mordechaia was sitting outside the king's palace. The
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: next season he was inside the palace.
- 1:22:15Speaker 5: We serve a.
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: God that turns things around, and he is the god
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: of unmerited favor. We are all privy to his unmerited
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: favor because he passes it out to no particular person.
- 1:22:36Speaker 8: We have all.
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: Been privy to this unmerited favor. You know, how many
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: of us can tell you something that happened to us
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: that we just can't explain. That was favor. You know,
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: when it looked like the verdict was going one way
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: and it turned around and went another way, that was favor.
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: When it looked like you wasn't gonna make it, but
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: here you are now. That fable when they wrote you
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: off and said you was never gonna be nothing, But
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: you turned out to be something anyhow. That was fable.
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: When they laughed at you with your decision, and now
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: they're looking at you at that same decision they laughed
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: at and they shaking their head. That will favor. When
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: they tried to destroy you, when your enemies came for
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: you and they couldn't do nothing with you all about you,
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: that was favor God's unmerited faith. Quit tripping about the
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: season you in because you never know. Your season could
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: turn around tomorrow. But if you quit, you'll never find
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: it hanging. Everybody.
