- 1:24Speaker 1: I got bad feet. I've been have bad feet for
- 1:27Speaker 1: a long time because what my bad feet from? God
- 1:30Speaker 1: gave me good feet when I messed them up, when
- 1:33Speaker 1: tight shoes pointed toe shoes, shoes that I knew were
- 1:38Speaker 1: hurting my feet, but I didn't care because guess why,
- 1:41Speaker 1: the women loved them. I got compliments. You look good,
- 1:46Speaker 1: you style, and you're profile. And my next guest is
- 1:49Speaker 1: one of the top foot surges in America. She's my
- 1:51Speaker 1: best friend, CEO and founder Fix Your Feet, Incorporated. She
- 1:55Speaker 1: has fifteen years of medical experience and maintains offices on
- 1:58Speaker 1: Park Avenue in New York City. I went by there
- 2:01Speaker 1: and in downtown Civil Springs, Maryland. The focus of our practices.
- 2:05Speaker 1: Bunyan's I got a Bunyon hamlet. I got a hamlet
- 2:08Speaker 1: to please work on the money making conversations, Doctor your
- 2:11Speaker 1: Londa Raggling. Hello, hellover, Sean. I'm so First of all,
- 2:17Speaker 1: I want to say congratulations on the one year anniversary
- 2:20Speaker 1: of the show. I'm so glad. Yeah, yeah, that's wonderful.
- 2:24Speaker 1: I'm so glad to um to be here again. I'm
- 2:28Speaker 1: thrilled as um. Yeah, thank you, thank you so much,
- 2:32Speaker 1: Doc Litten, don't get your heart of matter. I travel
- 2:34Speaker 1: a lot and I want your beautiful office on Park Avenue.
- 2:37Speaker 1: And first of all, you're a friend of mine, Okay,
- 2:40Speaker 1: And I just say that because of the fact that
- 2:42Speaker 1: you're just a successful friend in the in the in
- 2:45Speaker 1: the foot field. I travel a lot. How can you
- 2:49Speaker 1: How can I make my feet comfortable? Because sometimes, you know,
- 2:53Speaker 1: some days I have good times with my feet, some
- 2:55Speaker 1: days I have bad times with my feet. What can
- 2:58Speaker 1: I do on a regular basis to take care my feet?
- 3:00Speaker 1: Let's start there first? Okay, Well, first of all, i've
- 3:04Speaker 1: heard you boasting about those beautiful shoes and because of the
- 3:07Speaker 1: the ladies like them, and So what I'm going to
- 3:11Speaker 1: tell you and and and I don't believe in telling
- 3:15Speaker 1: anyone that they can't wear the shoes that they love wearing.
- 3:19Speaker 1: I do ask them to to to wear them within reason.
- 3:24Speaker 1: So the number one thing is I always say, especially
- 3:28Speaker 1: for Raydon because we are teetering on on heels, I
- 3:31Speaker 1: always say, walk with a pair of safety shoes. And
- 3:33Speaker 1: that advice translates right with men too. Um, walk with
- 3:38Speaker 1: a pair of a safety shoes. You have those shoes
- 3:42Speaker 1: that after you've been you know, you've been donning those
- 3:45Speaker 1: shoes for the last two hours, that maybe you need
- 3:48Speaker 1: to take a little break from those for a minute.
- 3:51Speaker 1: But more importantly, when you're purchasing those shoes, you can
- 3:54Speaker 1: still look at the shoes that you like. All of
- 3:57Speaker 1: them don't hurt you. I know you have some few
- 4:00Speaker 1: the fool you know, shoes that the women are just
- 4:03Speaker 1: gravitated towards. I'm just I've gotten smarter now, Okay, I'm
- 4:08Speaker 1: just talking about my youth. I was utterly ridiculous. Okay,
- 4:12Speaker 1: I can tell you right now it was a pair
- 4:14Speaker 1: of shute I would wear that will hurt the side
- 4:17Speaker 1: of my foot so bad. But boy, I walked into
- 4:20Speaker 1: the club. Well, I said it's on fire. I said
- 4:24Speaker 1: it's on fire because I'm looking at it and the
- 4:28Speaker 1: next thing you were with it. So again, like I said,
- 4:33Speaker 1: trying to find those shoes that really that really worked
- 4:37Speaker 1: for you. I'm not saying that you have to buy
- 4:39Speaker 1: some ugly poes. I'm getting in that direction. I'm headed
- 4:45Speaker 1: in that direction. Yeah, I'm trying for that. Now we
- 4:49Speaker 1: can't have you with that high No, we can't do that.
- 4:52Speaker 1: Now you found it. The Fix your Feet? Okay, what
- 4:55Speaker 1: what what exactly? Dr Ragler? What exactly is Fix your Feet?
- 4:58Speaker 1: And why did you start this organization picture feet? Okay,
- 5:01Speaker 1: so thanks, thanks for understand it, I mean for asking
- 5:05Speaker 1: and um and so well, first and foremost is the
- 5:11Speaker 1: core group. It's definitely women because we are wearing heels
- 5:14Speaker 1: and I understand what it's like to walk in those shoes.
- 5:18Speaker 1: So um, the se and the feet that carry us
- 5:20Speaker 1: should support a strong foundation, especially for strong women like myself.
- 5:26Speaker 1: We should. We need to have a strong foundation. So
- 5:28Speaker 1: I became with a diatrist because I wanted to empower
- 5:31Speaker 1: women with a strong foundation. So, as you mentioned before,
- 5:36Speaker 1: I'm proud to be that the only well I'm the
- 5:39Speaker 1: only female for dietrists out there that has a practice
- 5:43Speaker 1: solely dedicated to correcting playings and hamme toes with A
- 5:48Speaker 1: with A with a cosmetic results. I created the Tierra
- 5:51Speaker 1: Tell technique, which allows me to do the traditional orthopedic
- 5:56Speaker 1: procedures that we hear out there, but it comes out
- 5:59Speaker 1: with the aesthetic outcomes. So other doctors can do the
- 6:03Speaker 1: same procedures, but it doesn't look the same because they're
- 6:07Speaker 1: not thinking about, well, maybe I can change where my
- 6:10Speaker 1: my incision is so that no one can see it.
- 6:14Speaker 1: They're not taking those extra steps. They're not thinking about, well,
- 6:17Speaker 1: maybe this person because their complexion is darker, they have
- 6:21Speaker 1: more reactions um and so they get more stars. So
- 6:25Speaker 1: you have to you have to, uh, you have to
- 6:28Speaker 1: build up a finesse and a technique and get the
- 6:31Speaker 1: materials so that you can decrease the chances of these
- 6:36Speaker 1: unsightly resolved. So you know, a lot of octors you
- 6:39Speaker 1: will tell you I can get rid of the bunyan is,
- 6:41Speaker 1: I can get rid of the hammele toes, but they
- 6:43Speaker 1: they don't care. They don't give a hoot about what
- 6:45Speaker 1: it looks like afterwards. I'm the person that care, well,
- 6:49Speaker 1: it's important because of the fact that this lecture is
- 6:52Speaker 1: playing everybody because I said that what exactly is a
- 6:54Speaker 1: bullyant and what exactly is a hamletop? Okay, so um,
- 7:00Speaker 1: that was hammer to Actually so a lot because a
- 7:03Speaker 1: lot of people don't know what a hammer toel is.
- 7:05Speaker 1: So a lot of them needs to be recognized, right
- 7:10Speaker 1: and they and they don't know what it is. So
- 7:13Speaker 1: hamle toes and corns on the top of your toes
- 7:16Speaker 1: are synonymous. Okay, Now there are different types of hammeer toes,
- 7:20Speaker 1: We're gonna just use the one word hammer toat because
- 7:23Speaker 1: to get intol that's the massive set for us doctors.
- 7:25Speaker 1: You don't need to know all that. But once you
- 7:27Speaker 1: have started developing corns on the top of the knuckles
- 7:31Speaker 1: of the joints of your toes, let's just call that
- 7:34Speaker 1: a hammer toe. Even if it's not a corn, let's
- 7:36Speaker 1: just say it's just colored. But when we're talking about
- 7:39Speaker 1: women of color, sometimes it doesn't get really hard and
- 7:43Speaker 1: turn into that white bright corns, but sometimes it becomes
- 7:47Speaker 1: darker what we call hyper pigments it. So all of
- 7:50Speaker 1: those things to fall into the category category of of
- 7:54Speaker 1: hammeer toes. So that's what a hammer til is. It's
- 7:56Speaker 1: when the toes ends and and and they say it
- 8:00Speaker 1: for longer than what they should be. And when you're
- 8:02Speaker 1: walking in your shoes while they're curling, they're bobbing up
- 8:06Speaker 1: against the shield. The skin is like, oh wait a minute,
- 8:08Speaker 1: hold up, I gotta protect myself. So it builds, it
- 8:11Speaker 1: builds up a protective armor, and that's how you get
- 8:14Speaker 1: your hammer toel um. As for a bunion, a bunion
- 8:18Speaker 1: is dealing with the big town and there's also one
- 8:21Speaker 1: on your fist toe as well. You can have you
- 8:23Speaker 1: can have a bunion and a bunion net. So the
- 8:25Speaker 1: bunion is on the on the on the on the
- 8:28Speaker 1: first to the big towel, and the bunion that is
- 8:31Speaker 1: like the buggion that you see on the other side
- 8:33Speaker 1: of your foot that's connected to the to the baby toe.
- 8:36Speaker 1: So it's when the bones start to drifting out and
- 8:39Speaker 1: it kind of looks like when they get really severe.
- 8:41Speaker 1: And I'm just trying to give the people out there
- 8:43Speaker 1: listening in the visual, but you I'm sure you've seen it,
- 8:46Speaker 1: well you've seen it looks like, wow, it looks like
- 8:48Speaker 1: there's an elbow hanging off the side of that persons,
- 8:53Speaker 1: so so that if you get in lost those times,
- 8:56Speaker 1: it's not that extreme. But I just want to be
- 8:59Speaker 1: what the listeners you can't visualize out there, right, So
- 9:07Speaker 1: I just want people to understand what that is. If
- 9:09Speaker 1: I get into the you know, technicalities, you might not
- 9:11Speaker 1: be able to visualize what it is. Let's takes like
- 9:14Speaker 1: there's a big there's like an elbow putting off on
- 9:16Speaker 1: the side of your Let me now, let me, let
- 9:20Speaker 1: me just say this to you. Okay, you wanted the
- 9:22Speaker 1: top foot surgeons in America, that's gonna be That's gonna
- 9:26Speaker 1: be real. So that means that all foot surgeons are
- 9:29Speaker 1: created equal. What makes you so good? Dr raglan Um Well,
- 9:35Speaker 1: first of all, carry is the number one thing. If
- 9:40Speaker 1: if a person can't identify with what your issue is,
- 9:44Speaker 1: what your condition is, what your problem is. If they
- 9:47Speaker 1: have no idea how you how you feel about that situation,
- 9:53Speaker 1: they cannot give you the medical treatment that you are
- 9:57Speaker 1: long doing for. So it's you don't know how many times,
- 10:03Speaker 1: like I said, my my whole practice targets African American
- 10:07Speaker 1: women and it's for everybody. Don't get me wrong, but
- 10:09Speaker 1: I understand that this is my fourth group and you
- 10:13Speaker 1: don't know how many times women say to me after
- 10:16Speaker 1: a big sy saying, somebody who really understand. I've been
- 10:20Speaker 1: to five other people, and you know, they just didn't
- 10:24Speaker 1: get what I was saying. When I You know that
- 10:26Speaker 1: the patients will say, well, when I asked them, do
- 10:28Speaker 1: you understand anything about my skin? They kind of like
- 10:32Speaker 1: they they gave birth. They they redirect their answer to
- 10:36Speaker 1: something else that's completely different. And you know, strong, you know,
- 10:42Speaker 1: educated women will understand that this guy doesn't understand me.
- 10:46Speaker 1: This person doesn't understand what I'm going through. This person
- 10:50Speaker 1: doesn't understand that it is a deal breaker. I feel
- 10:52Speaker 1: like women, women are saying to themselves, I feel like
- 10:55Speaker 1: I'm not going to get the husband that I want
- 10:57Speaker 1: because my feet aren't pretty now. It also it hurts.
- 11:02Speaker 1: It hurts now, get it. Don't get me wrong. They
- 11:04Speaker 1: wanna they want to correct the pain, but they don't
- 11:07Speaker 1: want to correct the pain and have it ugly afterwards.
- 11:09Speaker 1: I don't want to get rid of the pain, and
- 11:11Speaker 1: they wanted to look good afterwards. So that's what differentiates
- 11:15Speaker 1: me from all the other people. I get it. I
- 11:18Speaker 1: understand what they are going through, and so I'm going
- 11:22Speaker 1: to trick them on the level of what they are
- 11:25Speaker 1: looking for. Now I'm on the phone with what She's
- 11:28Speaker 1: on the phone. Dr Yolanda Raggling fifteen years of medical experience.
- 11:33Speaker 1: She has to office two offices, one on Park Avenue
- 11:36Speaker 1: in New York City and the other downtown or right
- 11:38Speaker 1: in the Washington, d C. Area. Downtown. That one's in Booie.
- 11:43Speaker 1: We've loved the Billy. We have moved that one to
- 11:45Speaker 1: booy Yeah, we're in Booey, Maryland. Now, yeah, Booie, Maryland.
- 11:48Speaker 1: Now you know what I'm talking to my staff, So
- 11:50Speaker 1: so definitely send me a flyer, a banner so I
- 11:53Speaker 1: can get that up about you because you know, I
- 11:54Speaker 1: support you. I believe in you because of the fact
- 11:57Speaker 1: that first of all you're you're just a naturally good person. Secondly,
- 12:01Speaker 1: into your talent is see you've been that's a good
- 12:04Speaker 1: talent person and and and not be talented. You're not
- 12:06Speaker 1: gonna be on my show. So you on the show
- 12:08Speaker 1: because you got talent, because you go in there and
- 12:10Speaker 1: you have an unders assessment of what people should have.
- 12:13Speaker 1: And also letting people know that that you know, there's
- 12:15Speaker 1: a lot of people walking around that they really need
- 12:17Speaker 1: to stop and look at their feet, and a lot
- 12:19Speaker 1: of people stopping not enjoying life or not enjoying the
- 12:22Speaker 1: lifestyle that good feet or good surgical applications can bring
- 12:26Speaker 1: to their feet, that will open up their spirits because
- 12:29Speaker 1: a lot of people are just are walking a certain where,
- 12:31Speaker 1: were a certain type of shoes, because they don't think
- 12:33Speaker 1: this problem can be fixed. And you're saying, Richard, it
- 12:36Speaker 1: can be fixed. It can be fixed. I think that's
- 12:40Speaker 1: the one missnellmer about the whole thing, Especially when we
- 12:44Speaker 1: talk about the corn or the hammele taels. People think
- 12:47Speaker 1: that it is skin deep. Your hamme towel is not
- 12:50Speaker 1: a skin deep problem. It's a bone problem, and it
- 12:53Speaker 1: can be fixed, and it can be fixed prominently. If
- 12:57Speaker 1: you're coming in thinking that we're just gonna take the
- 12:59Speaker 1: skin off, and if anybody actually offers just to take
- 13:03Speaker 1: the skin off, it is the absolute wrong thing to do.
- 13:05Speaker 1: Not only is it gonna come back, it's gonna be uglier, Uh,
- 13:09Speaker 1: it's gonna be uglier when it does come back. So
- 13:12Speaker 1: um So people need to understand that it's not just
- 13:15Speaker 1: the scan. Problem is deeper than that. It goes down
- 13:18Speaker 1: to the bone. It has to be corrected the right way.
- 13:22Speaker 1: And like I said, creating the tr tell technique allows
- 13:26Speaker 1: me to create it to fix it. Not only the
- 13:30Speaker 1: right surgical technique, but it allows me to correct it
- 13:33Speaker 1: so that we don't notice that the incisions as much,
- 13:36Speaker 1: or the incisions are hidden so that nobody even knows
- 13:38Speaker 1: that anything ever happens. Awesome, Dr Elondaglan, wanna thank you
- 13:42Speaker 1: for calling my show. You one me two banners for
- 13:44Speaker 1: your new location in Bullie Buoye, Maryland, which is in
- 13:47Speaker 1: the area. And I'm looking to say some flag some
- 13:50Speaker 1: some other places too. I don't know, we're gonna bring
- 13:53Speaker 1: it back on the show. You know you're not a stranger.
- 13:56Speaker 1: You know you're not a stranger to come back in
- 13:57Speaker 1: the fall. Dr Elonda Raggling, you need to check out
