- 0:00Speaker 1: Today's show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time y'all
- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know. Y'all sit looking back to back giving them
- 0:15Speaker 1: like theming bus bus things and it's good. Steve has
- 0:24Speaker 1: to don't join you gotta turn ver you got to
- 1:25Speaker 1: turn to turn them out, got to turn them out,
- 1:45Speaker 1: to turn the water the water. Come, come on your back,
- 2:01Speaker 1: Uh huh, I show. Well, good morning everybody. You are
- 2:05Speaker 1: listening to the voice, Come on dig me now, one
- 2:08Speaker 1: and only Steve Harvey got a radio show, Yeah man,
- 2:13Speaker 1: got one. Hey. You know, I thought I think of
- 2:17Speaker 1: my life in terms of blessings. You know, I take
- 2:20Speaker 1: mostly a positive approach and a positive spin to my life.
- 2:24Speaker 1: I hardly ever dwell on you know, the what's well.
- 2:29Speaker 1: I can't say that I don't think about the what's
- 2:31Speaker 1: wrong in it because I have to, because I have
- 2:33Speaker 1: to address problems as they arise. But I try not
- 2:37Speaker 1: to let them consume me. I let the consumption part
- 2:42Speaker 1: be about the blessings, the positive things that has occurred
- 2:46Speaker 1: in my life, the good things that God has done
- 2:48Speaker 1: for me, the power that He's displayed in my life,
- 2:52Speaker 1: the protection he's given me over the years, to being
- 2:56Speaker 1: tucked under his wings. I focus on the things that
- 3:00Speaker 1: he promises me. I think of all all the goodness
- 3:03Speaker 1: that I perceived to come my way. I think that
- 3:06Speaker 1: has a lot to do with me learning more and
- 3:08Speaker 1: more about the law of attraction in terms of you know,
- 3:12Speaker 1: what you think and what you put out into space,
- 3:15Speaker 1: and what you pray about is what you receive. You know,
- 3:18Speaker 1: and so I've become better and better at that. It's
- 3:22Speaker 1: not to say that I'm I'm not human and I
- 3:24Speaker 1: don't have moments where I think a little bit too
- 3:28Speaker 1: long about what's going wrong and what enemy is about
- 3:32Speaker 1: to attack and what they're going to do and saying
- 3:34Speaker 1: and all of this is his. That's not to con
- 3:36Speaker 1: say that I'm not concerned about it, but I try
- 3:39Speaker 1: to duel mostly on the positive. And one of the
- 3:42Speaker 1: things that I learned, you can have an incredible life,
- 3:46Speaker 1: all of us. We can have incredible lives if we
- 3:51Speaker 1: just let God drive. See. The problem that I had
- 3:56Speaker 1: years ago was I was the driver of my life,
- 4:00Speaker 1: and I was taking myself into directions that I thought
- 4:04Speaker 1: would be best for me, and I aimed at things
- 4:07Speaker 1: that I thought I could accomplish, and I set goals
- 4:12Speaker 1: that I saw myself being able to attain. I was
- 4:16Speaker 1: driving when I gave up and I let God drive.
- 4:20Speaker 1: I then opened up my mind and my spirit to
- 4:25Speaker 1: what God had for me, for what God could see
- 4:29Speaker 1: for me, for what God could do in my life, well,
- 4:33Speaker 1: for what God wanted for me. Now he wanted for
- 4:38Speaker 1: me and he wanted of me. See, that's the connection
- 4:42Speaker 1: that you got to try to make. Well, not try,
- 4:45Speaker 1: that's the connection that you got to make to really
- 4:47Speaker 1: get it. Now, listen to me. What I don't want
- 4:50Speaker 1: you to do is do like me. Don't be afraid
- 4:52Speaker 1: of the what for of the what he wants you
- 4:55Speaker 1: to do part see, because that ain't gonna be nearly
- 4:58Speaker 1: as demanding and a offsetting as you think it's gonna be. See,
- 5:02Speaker 1: I thought that if I did God's will, that if
- 5:06Speaker 1: I let God tell me what to do, that it
- 5:08Speaker 1: would cause me to not to be able to do
- 5:11Speaker 1: a certain some things I wanted to do well, which
- 5:13Speaker 1: is true. But the stuff I wanted to do was
- 5:15Speaker 1: all detrimental to my well being and my future and
- 5:19Speaker 1: my growth and development as a man. I was stopping
- 5:23Speaker 1: my own growth as a man because see, I was
- 5:25Speaker 1: doing what I thought I should do as a man.
- 5:28Speaker 1: But when you give it over to God to God
- 5:31Speaker 1: has a much better plan for you than you can
- 5:33Speaker 1: ever have for yourself. And God knows a better way,
- 5:36Speaker 1: far better than the one you know. I want you
- 5:38Speaker 1: to believe that. Man, you gotta understand that part of it.
- 5:41Speaker 1: And that's the part that I finally got through my
- 5:43Speaker 1: head to let God do it his way and to
- 5:46Speaker 1: show me a better way, and to teach me a
- 5:49Speaker 1: better way and expose to me a better way. And
- 5:53Speaker 1: when I opened up my mind to what God was
- 5:55Speaker 1: talking about, I began to see things totally differently and
- 6:00Speaker 1: started coming to me totally differently. If you've been a
- 6:04Speaker 1: friend of mine or a fan of mine over the years,
- 6:07Speaker 1: I mean, you've had to see it, the change. You've
- 6:10Speaker 1: had to see the difference. I mean, and I acknowledge
- 6:14Speaker 1: that every chance I get, because I promise God I would,
- 6:18Speaker 1: and I hope that I'm not falling short in that category.
- 6:21Speaker 1: But then again, if I told it all day long
- 6:24Speaker 1: would he done for me? I still wouldn't have enough
- 6:26Speaker 1: time to really explain thoroughly what He's done for me,
- 6:30Speaker 1: because it's such a continuous growth in me. But now
- 6:34Speaker 1: that's not to say that I'm finished or I'm done
- 6:38Speaker 1: or I'm complete, because I'm still shocked. You can't be him.
- 6:43Speaker 1: You can strive for perfection. I hear people saying it
- 6:45Speaker 1: all the time. I applaud you for saying you want
- 6:47Speaker 1: to be perfect, but you ain't and you can't. So
- 6:51Speaker 1: you quit saying it. You quit saying it to me,
- 6:53Speaker 1: quit saying it to other people. I'm seeking a life
- 6:57Speaker 1: of perfection, but it's something that you cannot have because
- 7:00Speaker 1: he said you can't do it. But that's what he'd
- 7:03Speaker 1: have for. He'd have for the moments when you stumble
- 7:05Speaker 1: and you fall, and you go stumble and fall. See,
- 7:08Speaker 1: you got to get that part right, man to stumbling
- 7:10Speaker 1: falling part is coming. But see you get God in
- 7:13Speaker 1: your life and it helps you so that you don't stumble, fall, wallow,
- 7:18Speaker 1: roll over, laid their languish. That's what God is for.
- 7:23Speaker 1: So when you stumbling, fall, you get back up. Because
- 7:26Speaker 1: you're going to make mistakes. You're going to get it wrong,
- 7:30Speaker 1: You're going to come under attack, you're going to be
- 7:33Speaker 1: lied about, you are going to be falsely accused. That's
- 7:37Speaker 1: going to happen to you. The moment you make a
- 7:39Speaker 1: decision to do better. The moment you try to be more.
- 7:43Speaker 1: The devil got to send his attackers, man, and he
- 7:46Speaker 1: controls certain people. He just got people as on his
- 7:50Speaker 1: side twenty four seven. You know him too. You've all
- 7:54Speaker 1: met one or two of them in your life. They're
- 7:56Speaker 1: just busy with the business of nothingness. They just busy
- 8:00Speaker 1: about to do about the destruction of others. You said,
- 8:03Speaker 1: I know him, you know him. They coming. But here's
- 8:07Speaker 1: what you got to hold fast too. They can't take
- 8:10Speaker 1: away nothing from you that God gave you. They didn't
- 8:14Speaker 1: make you. See, people who claim to have made you,
- 8:18Speaker 1: if they're so in to make you business, why don't
- 8:21Speaker 1: they make theirselves? Or if they ain't with you no more,
- 8:24Speaker 1: and they're so busy in them I made you business,
- 8:27Speaker 1: why don't they make somebody else? Since since you want
- 8:31Speaker 1: to get credit from making somebody make yourself, if you're
- 8:36Speaker 1: responsible for someone else's success, then you should easily be
- 8:40Speaker 1: able to take claim and be responsible for your own success. See,
- 8:43Speaker 1: be careful of that, and don't and don't don't change
- 8:47Speaker 1: your course because somebody is attacking you with that. I
- 8:50Speaker 1: just hope, man, that I'm giving it to God the
- 8:53Speaker 1: way I said I would give it to him that
- 8:55Speaker 1: I would unload every chance I got that I was
- 8:58Speaker 1: supposed to without being you know, or here he come again?
- 9:01Speaker 1: You know. I try not to be that, but man,
- 9:03Speaker 1: I don't know what else to be for the first
- 9:05Speaker 1: twelve minutes of my show. What else you want me
- 9:07Speaker 1: to say? I got four hours? I can't give God
- 9:10Speaker 1: twelve twelve minutes, man, I mean, for real, Steve, come on, man,
- 9:14Speaker 1: I mean, let's look at this right here. If you're
- 9:16Speaker 1: give an honor to God just twelve minutes out the day, dog,
- 9:20Speaker 1: he gave you twenty four hours of luxury in life
- 9:24Speaker 1: and breath and hope and promise, you ain't got twelve
- 9:27Speaker 1: minutes to give him out the day. That don't make
- 9:29Speaker 1: no sense. What an exchange, What a wonderful life God
- 9:33Speaker 1: has given me in exchange for so small of effort
- 9:36Speaker 1: that I put forth. Don't let the effort you got
- 9:39Speaker 1: to put forth to God seems so dawning that you
- 9:41Speaker 1: don't attempt to do it, because man, it seems like
- 9:43Speaker 1: a lot. It ain't nothing to compare to what He'd
- 9:46Speaker 1: be given us for real. So if you want a
- 9:48Speaker 1: real life, you want a real shot at what you
- 9:50Speaker 1: can be, what you can have what you can own,
- 9:51Speaker 1: what you can become, who you really are. Go to God,
- 9:55Speaker 1: let him fix you. Man. That's all you're listening. Morning
- 10:00Speaker 1: show ladies and gentlemen. Here we are here, we are here,
- 10:04Speaker 1: we are another great morning, another great day to be alive.
- 10:07Speaker 1: This is Steve Harvey, Morning Show Man. Look at Hill
- 10:11Speaker 1: Yo all day. Shirley Strawberry, Good morning Steve. Happy Monday
- 10:16Speaker 1: after Resurrection day to you. Yes Lord, thank you Lord
- 10:21Speaker 1: for another day caller for real? Amen, Amen, Hey, Steve,
- 10:25Speaker 1: what's up? Crue Hey? That damn junior morning? Everybody? He
- 10:32Speaker 1: has risen, Yes he is if he has jan They didn't.
- 10:40Speaker 1: I didn't like to go to Easter on chech on Eastern,
- 10:43Speaker 1: not a cancel it. And I'm sad. I'm like, really,
- 10:46Speaker 1: damn said man, so you you was gonna go. I
- 10:50Speaker 1: wasn't gonna go at all. But it's canceled. That's what
- 10:53Speaker 1: I'm saying. Now. Now you can't not go to nothing.
- 10:56Speaker 1: There's nothing to go to, you know what I'm a
- 10:59Speaker 1: few times they dug a dog the guy cancel his
- 11:05Speaker 1: service yesterday, that minister down and now ye many people
- 11:11Speaker 1: over eleven hundred parishioners. Pastor Tony spell out of Baton Rouge,
- 11:16Speaker 1: Louisiana because you know what they said they were going
- 11:19Speaker 1: to do. The police said they were going to be
- 11:20Speaker 1: there and photograph all the cars and everybody and possibly
- 11:26Speaker 1: issue citations and then they were talking about and possibly
- 11:30Speaker 1: forced quarantine. None of that happened. Yeah, well they may
- 11:34Speaker 1: set up a case for him later because he may
- 11:37Speaker 1: buy yah home uh stay at home orders for sure.
- 11:40Speaker 1: There was a church in Kansas that did it too.
- 11:43Speaker 1: They said, yes, they had like three services. Yes, I
- 11:46Speaker 1: saw that. Uh huh. All over the country there were
- 11:50Speaker 1: some that held you know, I mean, I hope that
- 11:54Speaker 1: the people are safe, but you know what I mean.
- 11:58Speaker 1: At there are times you have to understand something of
- 12:02Speaker 1: shepherds make mistakes too. Out of eleven d you think
- 12:07Speaker 1: it ain't one in there with that, they said buses
- 12:10Speaker 1: and everything to pick them up and they were touching. See,
- 12:16Speaker 1: but that's social distancing has to be practiced in this time, y'all.
- 12:20Speaker 1: Uh it does. Look, I'm a man of faith. I
- 12:24Speaker 1: love God. I believe in him. I believe he's all
- 12:27Speaker 1: powerful and can do anything, but also believe that you
- 12:30Speaker 1: don't test him. He gives us science for a reason.
- 12:34Speaker 1: He gives us medicine for this, He gives us wisdom
- 12:37Speaker 1: and understanding. We have laws for a reason. Yeah, I mean,
- 12:40Speaker 1: we believe in God, but you still can't do more
- 12:43Speaker 1: than twenty in the school zone. You feel me that
- 12:46Speaker 1: ain't got nothing to do with your faith in God.
- 12:48Speaker 1: You can't do twenty in the school zone. That's the
- 12:50Speaker 1: law that's come on. Yeah, I got faith that I
- 12:56Speaker 1: ain't gonna hit nobody. Wait, wait, wait, wait, no, we
- 13:00Speaker 1: have laws in place, so when these laws come out
- 13:02Speaker 1: to protect the general public, you shouldn't put your flock
- 13:07Speaker 1: at risk. You just shouldn't. You just shouldn't. Man, It's
- 13:10Speaker 1: just because you don't know. See, the devil is busy.
- 13:13Speaker 1: You don't know which person know they're sick. I'm gonna
- 13:15Speaker 1: go down there and affect somebody, just like that lady
- 13:17Speaker 1: walked in gross store coughing on all that food and stuff. Yeah, Billy,
- 13:21Speaker 1: see you got you. You don't know who would work?
- 13:24Speaker 1: Hill Man? You feel bad? Yeah, all right, listen, we're
- 13:30Speaker 1: living in crazy time. Steve coming up at thirty two
- 13:33Speaker 1: minutes after the hour, we'll talk more about some of
- 13:35Speaker 1: the country's churches that were being defiant regarding Easter services
- 13:40Speaker 1: and ignored the public health help guidelines. We'll talk about
- 13:43Speaker 1: it right after this. You're listening to morning show. So
- 13:48Speaker 1: yesterday Easter service was different. Many many churches remained closed.
- 13:53Speaker 1: They held virtual online services as a part of the
- 13:57Speaker 1: nationwide effort to slow down the spread of a coronavirus. Really,
- 14:02Speaker 1: that's what all churches should have done. But no, that's
- 14:06Speaker 1: not what all churches did. A number of churches across
- 14:09Speaker 1: the country health services going against the stay home orders.
- 14:13Speaker 1: Like pastor Tony Spell. We talked about him earlier, Steve
- 14:16Speaker 1: the one in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He had over eleven
- 14:19Speaker 1: hundred parishioners attend his Easter service. The pastor said his
- 14:24Speaker 1: faith would protect him and his churchgoers from getting sick.
- 14:28Speaker 1: Take a listen. Spell says, if anyone in his congregation
- 14:31Speaker 1: is infected with COVID nineteen, he will heal them through
- 14:34Speaker 1: God or address that by laying hands on him. By farm,
- 14:38Speaker 1: I'm believing God to heal their body. Yeah, okay, pastor Yeah.
- 14:44Speaker 1: He went on to say, Pastor Spell, he is the
- 14:46Speaker 1: first responder. Take a listen to this. When the paramedics
- 14:50Speaker 1: can't get there, when the law enforce we can't get there.
- 14:53Speaker 1: The Holy ghost can get there, and it'll make a
- 14:55Speaker 1: difference to somebody like let's keep watch on this lemon
- 14:59Speaker 1: hunted right, and see what that's scary? Man, It really is.
- 15:05Speaker 1: It really is scary. Not only that he believes that
- 15:08Speaker 1: people believe in him too, I mean both that's scary.
- 15:11Speaker 1: But you have to take it seriously. I mean, we're
- 15:13Speaker 1: all people of faith, like you said earlier, Steve, you know,
- 15:16Speaker 1: we're all people of faith. That doesn't mean that you
- 15:20Speaker 1: don't take the coronavirus serious, lady. And here's a home exactly.
- 15:25Speaker 1: And surely here's the problem to that statement. If you
- 15:28Speaker 1: believe God can heal, but the person you touch and don't,
- 15:31Speaker 1: we have a problem. Yes, there's an see we have
- 15:37Speaker 1: an instant problem now. So see what you can't do,
- 15:41Speaker 1: oh ye, mighty Man of God is expect everybody to
- 15:45Speaker 1: measure up to your level of faith. That's why you
- 15:48Speaker 1: the shepherd and they the sheep. But see the sheep
- 15:51Speaker 1: got to be smart too, now, because see you can't
- 15:56Speaker 1: see you can't well, if it's the Lord's will, no no,
- 15:58Speaker 1: no, no no, no to lossy stay home. God got everybody
- 16:03Speaker 1: stay at home for a reason. He's got God, God
- 16:06Speaker 1: allowing this to shut down so we can change some things. See,
- 16:11Speaker 1: so you stay home so you can learn. Sometimes you
- 16:14Speaker 1: keep going out, touching, feeling, hugging, praising. Hey, man, hold up, partner,
- 16:19Speaker 1: did you hear what everybody? Hold up? Somebody said that
- 16:23Speaker 1: text that y'all sent out, that was the best, they said.
- 16:26Speaker 1: People Tommy sent the text out, Timmy say. People keep asking,
- 16:30Speaker 1: is this COVID nineteen thing that's serious? Because sinos is
- 16:35Speaker 1: closed and churches is closed. When Heaven and Hell agree
- 16:41Speaker 1: on the same thing, it's probably pretty serious. It's probably
- 16:47Speaker 1: dog serious, man, dog bro. I sent that to a
- 16:54Speaker 1: couple of people time because I said, man, hold up, dog.
- 16:58Speaker 1: When Heaven and Hell churches saying casinos agreed, we never happened. Dog.
- 17:04Speaker 1: This is serious business because you because you remember when
- 17:08Speaker 1: I heard them say that Vegas was closed. I went, okay,
- 17:11Speaker 1: this this this serious. Now they don't shut their money down. Yeah,
- 17:16Speaker 1: that's right, true, you never heard of Vegas as we
- 17:23Speaker 1: love Hollywood. I knew we was in trouble when they
- 17:29Speaker 1: shut Hollywood down and they God out here it's laughter
- 17:33Speaker 1: and money, that's they God. Hollywood. Man, don't Hollywood ain't
- 17:39Speaker 1: out here for nothing else. If you if you write
- 17:40Speaker 1: a meaning for film, we get your oscar for it. Okay,
- 17:43Speaker 1: but you know, dame, what we're trying to do, right
- 17:47Speaker 1: NBA Na, that's another one. And started close clubs, strip clubs,
- 17:58Speaker 1: buillionnaires sports teams. Yeah, when they know we got to close,
- 18:05Speaker 1: we have a problem. Yeah. So I'm like, I'm like
- 18:08Speaker 1: a little confused with the churches. Look, I under go ahead. Well,
- 18:12Speaker 1: I was just gonna say this. A lot of people
- 18:14Speaker 1: are serious about the separation of church and state, and
- 18:18Speaker 1: they don't want the government Steve telling them what to
- 18:21Speaker 1: do as a church. They want the government to stay
- 18:24Speaker 1: out of it. And that's yeah, yeah, yeah, see that's cool.
- 18:31Speaker 1: But we have this thing called wisdom and understanding that's
- 18:35Speaker 1: in the Bible. The whole Book of Proverbs is about
- 18:38Speaker 1: that one, the wisdom and understanding that the whole thing
- 18:42Speaker 1: is trying to teach you, through parables and lessons, how
- 18:45Speaker 1: to gain wisdom and understanding. And a part of it
- 18:48Speaker 1: is you have to understand that nothing is bigger than God,
- 18:52Speaker 1: but God gives us medicine. Nothing is bigger than God,
- 18:56Speaker 1: but God gives us herbs. Nothing is bigger than God,
- 18:59Speaker 1: but God let us go to school to get educated. Now,
- 19:03Speaker 1: we can't take that that God give us and then
- 19:05Speaker 1: act and throw it in the wind like it ain't nothing. Bro.
- 19:11Speaker 1: You if you get COVID nineteen and you take it
- 19:14Speaker 1: back home and you don't even know you infected, come on,
- 19:18Speaker 1: you can kill someone in your house. Yeah, it's like past.
- 19:26Speaker 1: Oh st that was me, that was you and dog.
- 19:30Speaker 1: And let me tell you something. I scared the hell
- 19:32Speaker 1: out take something. I just coughed and looked around. Ain't
- 19:46Speaker 1: nobody in there with me? Oh? Hey, don hey, hey, man?
- 19:52Speaker 1: You know how you start rubbing your own thighs. I'm
- 19:57Speaker 1: rubbing both my thighs, make sho and man, do you
- 20:00Speaker 1: know how many times I gave myself that that self test?
- 20:04Speaker 1: You know, they released a thing. I should read it.
- 20:07Speaker 1: I'm gonna read the official verdict of it, but a
- 20:09Speaker 1: friend of mine that works in the Pentagon send it
- 20:12Speaker 1: to me. There's a self test that everybody should do
- 20:15Speaker 1: every morning, and it's a simple test. Take a really
- 20:18Speaker 1: deep breath and hold it for ten seconds. If you
- 20:22Speaker 1: can hold it longer, that's fine. But if you can
- 20:24Speaker 1: hold your breath for ten seconds and you feel no tightness,
- 20:27Speaker 1: no tickling. You don't have to cough. That's a good
- 20:31Speaker 1: sign that fibrosis hasn't set into your lungs. And you
- 20:36Speaker 1: should test yourself at least every morning. I do it
- 20:38Speaker 1: all day and drink plenty of water. And these are
- 20:42Speaker 1: just simple things. Coming up next, we got to talk
- 20:47Speaker 1: about these remedies. Have you guys been hearing a lot
- 20:49Speaker 1: of these COVID nineteen. Yeah, we got to talk about this.
- 20:55Speaker 1: Coming up next. Right after this, you're listening Dave Harvey
- 21:00Speaker 1: Morning Show. Coming up at the top of the hour.
- 21:04Speaker 1: Miss Anna's standing by with today's COVID nineteen National News,
- 21:07Speaker 1: And of course we're praying for our neighbors in Mississippi, Louisiana, Alabama, Tennessee.
- 21:12Speaker 1: They're all recovering from a catastrophic h tornado, lots of
- 21:18Speaker 1: tornado damage yesterday. We'll talk about that at the top
- 21:22Speaker 1: of the hour, but right now, uh, it is Monday,
- 21:25Speaker 1: and um boy, this COVID nineteen. Um, I mean, you know,
- 21:30Speaker 1: there's so much stuff out there. I mean, they're almost

- 21:37Speaker 1: remedies and stuff. But I'm trying, let me tell y'all
- 21:41Speaker 1: what I did ya? I did. I was told if
- 21:44Speaker 1: you hold a hand drive up to your nose, it'll
- 21:49Speaker 1: burn the COVID nineteen off from behind your name. I'm
- 21:53Speaker 1: just saying. My wife walked into bedroom I had that
- 21:57Speaker 1: had drown full thrown off. What the hell is you doing? Board?
- 22:04Speaker 1: I say, they say this, this is burning off from
- 22:06Speaker 1: back there. She said, you're gonna burn all your nose hair.
- 22:09Speaker 1: What is wrong your facial hair? You have? I heard No,
- 22:16Speaker 1: I don't know if it shoots because right after Easton
- 22:19Speaker 1: probably if you take pot liquor straight pot liquor scoop
- 22:23Speaker 1: the greens out. So you just want to raw liquor
- 22:26Speaker 1: right boil your feet in that. If you boil your
- 22:32Speaker 1: y'all laughing, you want to you trying to? Look? You
- 22:37Speaker 1: got to put some chopped onions in there. It's so much, man,
- 22:40Speaker 1: it's not gonna work at all unless you put some
- 22:45Speaker 1: chop on your feet. I mean what you got, junior.
- 22:51Speaker 1: And you know what, man, if you get sick of them,
- 22:53Speaker 1: you try some of this stuff. Because they told me
- 22:57Speaker 1: you take like a piece of a ginger. Okay, ohother
- 23:00Speaker 1: than your dishwashing. Yeah, let your dishwashing get hot, then
- 23:05Speaker 1: open and stick your head in there and then see
- 23:07Speaker 1: get the steam from the dishwashing. Go get it right out.
- 23:11Speaker 1: He's gonna burn it off. But the ginger got to
- 23:14Speaker 1: be in there. You need you gotta put that in there.
- 23:19Speaker 1: Home remedies. Yeah, and don't over the tend it, get

- 23:49Speaker 1: you do? Listen to me. We used to do this
- 23:51Speaker 1: with the fluke. Get you some vixed vapor. Rubs both

- 24:30Speaker 1: not not. But you gotta be ready. You gotta be
- 24:32Speaker 1: ready for this, all right. Get take a light bulb
- 24:36Speaker 1: out of his sock, thick your index finger in now,
- 24:42Speaker 1: and then get somebody to turn the light on and
- 24:46Speaker 1: you can shock that COVID right at your I'm just shocking. Yeah,
- 24:59Speaker 1: I'll tell you. It just involves tape. Though. There's some
- 25:03Speaker 1: tape and the seeds from the hollow pen your pepper.
- 25:08Speaker 1: That's the seeds, not the pepper. Not the pepper. Take
- 25:10Speaker 1: the seeds, put them on some tape. I take that
- 25:13Speaker 1: to your nostril. Breath that for fifteen minutes, because say
- 25:18Speaker 1: to COVID is attracted to the seed. And I don't
- 25:21Speaker 1: know if it's true, but I'm gonna try it today.
- 25:25Speaker 1: I got one. I don't know if it's true. Homemade
- 25:28Speaker 1: remedy COVID nineteen cure. You take some icy hot, put
- 25:33Speaker 1: on gloves first. You got to put gloves on your
- 25:37Speaker 1: ice hot, and you smear the icy hot in your underwear.
- 25:40Speaker 1: You don't want to gam it up there yet. You
- 25:42Speaker 1: just want to get You want to get that level,
- 25:46Speaker 1: like a level amount in your shorts. Right, be smart
- 25:50Speaker 1: with this. Yeah, you don't put too much in this
- 25:54Speaker 1: guy to be leveled off. So put your put your
- 26:01Speaker 1: drums off. Ain't go sit in the back up and
- 26:06Speaker 1: I will bet you. I will bet you man of money.
- 26:13Speaker 1: I'm not gonna lie, it's gonna hurt. Yeah, I got

- 26:26Speaker 1: you got foligise instructions. Take your blender. Get your blender, yeah,
- 26:37Speaker 1: and take it in the bathroom. Lug it up and
- 26:42Speaker 1: get you an extension chord. Yeah, because you're gonna sit
- 26:46Speaker 1: it right next to you. Okay, I don't go outside
- 26:51Speaker 1: and get you three three cubes of charcoal. Put some
- 26:58Speaker 1: hot water in that blender. Put them three pieces of
- 27:02Speaker 1: charcoal in there, and blend it up. Now that extension cord.
- 27:07Speaker 1: Bring it over that right next to the toilet. Why
- 27:09Speaker 1: are you sitting on the toilet? Drink that right, Drink
- 27:18Speaker 1: that and clear that right up out of you. Yeah,
- 27:25Speaker 1: make sure you sitting and you make sure to make
- 27:29Speaker 1: sure that blender right next to that toilet. You maybe
- 27:33Speaker 1: to get in through you so fast, so you got
- 27:42Speaker 1: to be in place when that happen. Is never gonna
- 27:49Speaker 1: be useful, But it's crazy and stuff. Some people are trying.
- 27:53Speaker 1: They told you he had that drive up to throttle
- 28:07Speaker 1: in your nostrils. Pack just package backing hog. That's gonna burn, yeah,
- 28:16Speaker 1: they say, in your draw nice and smooth. He's gonna

- 28:55Speaker 1: Take turping time and skirt it squeety in the back
- 28:59Speaker 1: of your folk in the back with that ice tray
- 29:05Speaker 1: hanging on your tool. Your ahead. Thank you guys, and
- 29:14Speaker 1: no things coming up at the top of the hour,
- 29:18Speaker 1: entertainment and national news. Right after this, you're listening to
- 29:23Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Pastor Joel Osteene hosted a
- 29:28Speaker 1: virtual Easter Sunday service from his church in Lakewood. His
- 29:32Speaker 1: Lakewood Church in Houston, Tyler Perry spoke a message of hope.
- 29:36Speaker 1: Mariah Carey, of course, joined the service and saying hero
- 29:40Speaker 1: as a tribute to first responders. Oh that was nice.
- 29:43Speaker 1: And Kanye West had to cancel his appearance because even
- 29:48Speaker 1: though his choir members were going to wear masks and
- 29:50Speaker 1: they were going to practice social distancing, h Kanye said,
- 29:54Speaker 1: it didn't feel right or it didn't feel safe. It
- 29:57Speaker 1: didn't feel right or safe, he said, so he pulled
- 30:00Speaker 1: the plug on the choir's performance. Wow, yeah, I understand.
- 30:05Speaker 1: That okay, yeah, yeah, safe safe, Yeah, I ain't mad.
- 30:11Speaker 1: That makes sense legistically, But you can't get a hundred
- 30:14Speaker 1: people on zoom. You could have worked up ount man
- 30:17Speaker 1: that come up people on Zoom's real time? Do they
- 30:23Speaker 1: still have the glitches that they that they figure it
- 30:25Speaker 1: out the glitches that they have. I know I've seen
- 30:28Speaker 1: some of the digen but yeah, the corn and all
- 30:31Speaker 1: that I was on a zoom. Letna say, happy belated
- 30:35Speaker 1: will Packer, Happy birthday, Will Packrick. We had the whole
- 30:38Speaker 1: room birthday party. Yeah wow on Saturday. Well, Timmy, now
- 30:45Speaker 1: we use zoom for ja for your comedy. He could
- 30:50Speaker 1: put a hundred people on there. It got the quiet
- 30:52Speaker 1: did the song call of the day? I mean you
- 30:54Speaker 1: don't feel that at home? I mean, I mean that's
- 30:57Speaker 1: what I've learned some amazing technique anology stuff. I accidentally
- 31:03Speaker 1: send somebody a text with the vanishing it vanishes. Who
- 31:07Speaker 1: knows how to do that? Effects the effects like up.
- 31:11Speaker 1: I mean you send a message and then no, no,
- 31:14Speaker 1: you send a message. As soon as they open it,
- 31:17Speaker 1: it just like disappeared. They get to see it, but
- 31:20Speaker 1: then it's gonna yeah you get to see it, but
- 31:22Speaker 1: it just well how you do that? I don't. I
- 31:25Speaker 1: don't know how. I've heard of that. I ain't done it. Yeah.
- 31:28Speaker 1: They got that thing where they can text you something
- 31:30Speaker 1: and then when you touch it and it fizzy. It
- 31:33Speaker 1: get real cloudy to do it. When you when you
- 31:38Speaker 1: text the message, hold it down in all the I'm
- 31:41Speaker 1: telling you, invisible inks, loud slam, all those show ups.
- 31:46Speaker 1: So when you text the meshes, hold that little button
- 31:48Speaker 1: down and what what what effect you want to put on?
- 31:50Speaker 1: It will show up? Wow? What button down? Yeah? Yeah, no,
- 32:00Speaker 1: I'm doing it now. I'm doing it now. So let's go. Okay,
- 32:03Speaker 1: hold hold the way the recorders, just hold that down.
- 32:06Speaker 1: Hold that down right there, hold down the recording. Okay,
- 32:11Speaker 1: don't push the little recording yet. You see how to
- 32:13Speaker 1: show up all alone. There you go. Okay, we're really
- 32:21Speaker 1: doing Okay, that don't work man, because it's two old
- 32:28Speaker 1: people trying to give it. Do anybody know how to
- 32:31Speaker 1: do it? Telling them the right thing? I'm telling the
- 32:33Speaker 1: right thing. Let me tell you something. It takes Jay
- 32:39Speaker 1: to get on zoom with me. He's a liar, a liar.
- 32:44Speaker 1: Team Tommy. Right where you text your message is an
- 32:48Speaker 1: arrow that will point up all that arrow down. So
- 32:52Speaker 1: you said, hold the microphone the arrow down and it'll
- 32:57Speaker 1: pop up. The preference said seeing invisible. Okay, okay, all right, okay,
- 33:09Speaker 1: all right tech one oh one, Thank you guys. Here
- 33:12Speaker 1: we go tomorrow. Alright, listen, we're praying for our neighbors
- 33:19Speaker 1: in the southeast. Do the yesterday's tornadoes, uh Steve. And
- 33:23Speaker 1: it's time now to get caught up with the news,
- 33:25Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen, Miss Anne True. Yeah, we're gonna talk
- 33:29Speaker 1: about that too the morning. Everybody in the United States
- 33:31Speaker 1: now has had more deaths due to the COVID nineteen
- 33:34Speaker 1: pandemic than any other country in the entire world. To
- 33:37Speaker 1: be specific, twenty thousand, three hundred and eighty nine Americans
- 33:40Speaker 1: have died. And that compares to Italy, which was really
- 33:43Speaker 1: terrible nineteen thousand, four hundred and sixty eight deaths. We
- 33:46Speaker 1: have more than Italy. Meanwhile, at least five hundred and
- 33:49Speaker 1: fifty thousand Americans have tested positive for the virus. Houston
- 33:53Speaker 1: Mayor Sylvester Turner says they are now six hundred and
- 33:55Speaker 1: fifteen new cases of coronavirus in his city, Arkansas, so
- 33:58Speaker 1: the lowest number of corona hospitalizations compared to neighboring states.
- 34:02Speaker 1: Number of infected people in Ohio now lower than previously projected.
- 34:05Speaker 1: This is good news. Hospitals in California have seen a
- 34:07Speaker 1: nearly two percent drop in ICEU patients. The nation's top
- 34:11Speaker 1: doc is addressing disturbing reports that minardies are dying at
- 34:14Speaker 1: higher rates and white from COVID nineteen. US Surgeon General
- 34:17Speaker 1: Jerome Adams breaks it down in New York City. Hispanics
- 34:21Speaker 1: represent the majority of deaths. African Americans and Native Americans
- 34:25Speaker 1: developed high blood pressure at much younger ages and so
- 34:28Speaker 1: less likely to be under control and does greater harm
- 34:30Speaker 1: to their organs. Puerto Ricans have higher rates of asthma
- 34:34Speaker 1: and black boys or three times as likely to die
- 34:36Speaker 1: of athema as their white counterparts. Only one in five
- 34:39Speaker 1: African Americans and one in six Hispanics has a job
- 34:41Speaker 1: that lets them work from home. People of color are
- 34:43Speaker 1: more likely to live in densely packed areas and in
- 34:46Speaker 1: multigenerational housing situations, which create higher risk for spread of
- 34:49Speaker 1: a highly contagious disease like COVID nineteen. Let me be
- 34:52Speaker 1: crystal clear, we do not think people of color are
- 34:55Speaker 1: biologically or genetically predisposed to get COVID nineteen, but they
- 34:58Speaker 1: are socially predisposed the coronavirus exposure and to have a
- 35:02Speaker 1: higher incidence of the very diviss that put you at
- 35:04Speaker 1: risk for severe complications of coronavirus. So there you have it.
- 35:07Speaker 1: Tornadoes killed at least six people as they roared through
- 35:10Speaker 1: Mississippi and Louisiana on Easter Sunday. Storms also roaring through Georgia,
- 35:14Speaker 1: killing five people. Disney World putting forty three thousand workers
- 35:17Speaker 1: on furlough while the park is shut down. Americans on
- 35:20Speaker 1: the other side of that beginning to receive those economic
- 35:23Speaker 1: relief checks from the IRS. This is the money from
- 35:25Speaker 1: the two point two trillion dollars economic stimulus package that
- 35:28Speaker 1: the Congress grew up in Trump signed last month. It's
- 35:30Speaker 1: going into direct positive accounts. And finally, the mayor of Alton,
- 35:35Speaker 1: Illinois called himself getting tough about his stay home order
- 35:38Speaker 1: after residents complained of a large illicit party in a
- 35:41Speaker 1: bar near the Mississippi River. So the police were sent there.
- 35:44Speaker 1: The folks were busted, and then an officer had to
- 35:46Speaker 1: call the mayor why because his wife was one of
- 35:49Speaker 1: those brought in. Yeah, he said, don't give her any
- 35:55Speaker 1: special treatment, guys, but you know, I really probably think
- 35:58Speaker 1: that they probably did anyway, just just briefly, Chicago authorities
- 36:03Speaker 1: are tasked with the same mission. Meanwhile, the officials in
- 36:05Speaker 1: New York City area are setting up new places to
- 36:08Speaker 1: store the bodies of those killed by the Corona virus
- 36:11Speaker 1: or the COVID nineteen virus as more and more Morgue's
- 36:13Speaker 1: face possibly becoming overwhelmed. That is Chicago w bail. Get
- 36:17Speaker 1: back to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Everybody you're listening
- 36:20Speaker 1: to show, did you guys watch the First Ladies of Gospel?
- 36:26Speaker 1: Please tell me you watch the Clark Sisters movie? Yes, yeah,
- 36:30Speaker 1: so good. It was really, really, really good this past
- 36:36Speaker 1: Saturday night. It was on Lifetime Steve good. Yeah, well,
- 36:40Speaker 1: we talked about it all week that it was coming on.
- 36:42Speaker 1: It was really really good. If you haven't had a
- 36:44Speaker 1: chance to see it, please go check it out on demands. Yeah,
- 36:48Speaker 1: you've gotta see it. It's so it was actually a
- 36:51Speaker 1: movie that could have been in the theater. Yes, yes, yes,
- 36:55Speaker 1: it was just that good. And their mother, Maddie Moss Clark,
- 37:01Speaker 1: she was not a game. We got a shout out. Yes,
- 37:07Speaker 1: she is such she behind she played that role. She said,
- 37:14Speaker 1: I would have loved to have met the real Mama
- 37:17Speaker 1: back in the day. I mean I was there, I
- 37:19Speaker 1: was right around there. You were there. Yeah, I was
- 37:25Speaker 1: the same. Yeah you know what I mean? That looked
- 37:27Speaker 1: like enticing, right, Yeah, that shut up? Shut up right.
- 37:35Speaker 1: She was not a joke. She was not a game
- 37:39Speaker 1: I loved. And how do you say her name? Something
- 37:45Speaker 1: new ellis it's her last name. I told her everybody
- 37:48Speaker 1: to watch it. In my dumb ass, mistery, I was talking.
- 37:56Speaker 1: I forgot about you about it, man, I ain't said nothing,
- 38:00Speaker 1: and I set up been told every man, I gotta
- 38:01Speaker 1: watch it, watch it, man, y'all start talking about this.
- 38:04Speaker 1: I'm so I ain't doing nothing. Yeah, let me tell
- 38:09Speaker 1: you something. Every time Junior called me, I answered the phone. No,
- 38:18Speaker 1: I ain't doing nothing. I'm telling y'all it's why. It's
- 38:21Speaker 1: this is the most unbelievable time time I've ever had.
- 38:24Speaker 1: I've never had. This is actually, you know what, man,
- 38:29Speaker 1: Like this this time has taught me so many things, man.
- 38:33Speaker 1: And I'm serious, man, I did not know. I've been
- 38:38Speaker 1: so busy for so many years, for so long. Yes,
- 38:43Speaker 1: I've really this has been. I know. Look, I know
- 38:47Speaker 1: we're in the middle of a challenging times and I
- 38:50Speaker 1: know that, but this has been for me and I
- 38:53Speaker 1: opening experience. I've learned just such a time of ease
- 38:57Speaker 1: and refreshment for me that I've never known. Man, this
- 39:02Speaker 1: time of the year is so busy for me. Now,
- 39:05Speaker 1: I don't want to do this all the time. I
- 39:07Speaker 1: know what you mean, No, but I've really discovered a
- 39:10Speaker 1: lot of things. Like I'm I'm technically more savvy. I
- 39:15Speaker 1: know how to work my TV. I can go to
- 39:16Speaker 1: Netflix without calling nobody, don't. I know how to search
- 39:28Speaker 1: for movies and stuff. I know how to work on
- 39:30Speaker 1: the man. All right, jo Anthony Brown in the building
- 39:35Speaker 1: with his daily Corona virus timeline. We'll get to that
- 39:40Speaker 1: right after that. You're listening, all right, Jay, what is
- 39:48Speaker 1: this daily coronavirus timeline you have for us? Well, the
- 39:52Speaker 1: day is not as busy as we think it is.
- 39:55Speaker 1: In fact, we'en doing a damn thing. Here's the corona
- 39:58Speaker 1: virus breakdown pretty much everybody clue housty. All right, you

- 40:56Speaker 1: you might not do any no damn thing you might
- 41:02Speaker 1: see to yourself when I ain't really going nowhere, ain't
- 41:05Speaker 1: nobody in here? What me? I really don't have to
- 41:10Speaker 1: watch myself? All right, Now you've done all of those things,
- 41:14Speaker 1: it's time to eat. It is time to eat again.

- 41:38Speaker 1: mask on, but none of these white people who pass
- 41:40Speaker 1: it got a mask on. Maybe they do something I
- 41:43Speaker 1: don't know. Watch the white people. You watch the white
- 41:47Speaker 1: people clean up behind the dog. Now, they won't speak,
- 41:50Speaker 1: They won't speak to you at all, but they have

- 49:06Speaker 1: But a man has hair. I mean, it's it's well.
- 49:09Speaker 1: If she has an appointment, then she's serious about getting
- 49:12Speaker 1: it done. Yeah. Well I'm serious about not going. So,

- 49:21Speaker 1: reschedule it for somebody else. I'll talk to her when
- 49:23Speaker 1: she gets home. But that's that's it. I'm just your

- 50:12Speaker 1: give her. I'll give her fun bucks. This is good.
- 50:14Speaker 1: I'll give her a tip. That's the five food bucks.
- 50:17Speaker 1: I'm done. I'm sad. Two hundred bucks. There's no way.
- 50:21Speaker 1: There's no way we are playing that money and you

- 54:27Speaker 1: it full Hivitesberry letter, Thank you few subject MO money,
- 54:32Speaker 1: MO problems. Dear Stephen Shirley. I'm a fifty six year
- 54:36Speaker 1: old man with lots of swag, and I've had fine
- 54:39Speaker 1: women all my life. Eight years ago I decided it
- 54:43Speaker 1: was time to get married, and I found a good
- 54:46Speaker 1: woman to settle down with. I've always fooled around with
- 54:49Speaker 1: lotto and bought scratch offs, and a year ago I
- 54:53Speaker 1: got lucky and won eight hundred thousand dollars. My wife
- 54:57Speaker 1: and I retired, paid everything off, and traveled a little bit.
- 55:01Speaker 1: My wife's twenty six year old niece is in culinary school,
- 55:05Speaker 1: so we hired her as our personal chef, and she
- 55:08Speaker 1: came three days a week to cook. My wife volunteers
- 55:12Speaker 1: at a senior daycare most afternoons, so I was left
- 55:15Speaker 1: home alone with her niece when she was cooking. The
- 55:18Speaker 1: niece is slim and fine, with long legs and a
- 55:22Speaker 1: nice butt. We talked and sipped wine while she cooked,
- 55:25Speaker 1: and whenever she left, I'd give her a nice tip
- 55:28Speaker 1: and she'd give me a hug. One day, the hug
- 55:31Speaker 1: turned into a kiss, and the kiss turned into sex.
- 55:35Speaker 1: She initiated it, and after that day we had sex
- 55:38Speaker 1: several times a week. She was real freaky and she
- 55:42Speaker 1: always wanted to do it in the kitchen. I got
- 55:45Speaker 1: caught up and I started giving her a lot more money.
- 55:48Speaker 1: This made me feel like the old player that I
- 55:51Speaker 1: used to be, and I was not thinking straight. This
- 55:54Speaker 1: girl had been filming us having sex over and over again.
- 55:58Speaker 1: In the beginning, she told me she likes to film
- 56:01Speaker 1: herself in the kitchen so she can use her cooking
- 56:04Speaker 1: videos for extra credit in class. Well, now she's demanding
- 56:09Speaker 1: that I give her fifty thousand dollars or she's telling
- 56:13Speaker 1: my wife. I can't move this much money out of
- 56:16Speaker 1: our account without my wife knowing it. To make it worse,
- 56:20Speaker 1: I can't fire her without my wife questioning it. I
- 56:23Speaker 1: haven't slept in days, and I'm a nervous wreck. How
- 56:27Speaker 1: am I going to get out of this? Please help? Okay,
- 56:32Speaker 1: first of all, you're gonna be broke if you keep
- 56:36Speaker 1: spending like this. Okay, you won eight hundred dollars, eight
- 56:40Speaker 1: hundred thousand dollars, You and your wife retired, You paid
- 56:44Speaker 1: off everything, you traveled a little bit, you have a
- 56:46Speaker 1: personal chef. You know you give her extra money after
- 56:51Speaker 1: she cooks for you. Okay, that's a lot going on there.
- 56:55Speaker 1: But beside that, why did you do this? Why did
- 56:59Speaker 1: you get involved with your wife's knees? I don't care
- 57:02Speaker 1: how slim and fine and how nice her butt was,
- 57:05Speaker 1: and you're asking us what to do. I don't know
- 57:08Speaker 1: what you're going what you're going to do. I mean, yeah,
- 57:11Speaker 1: you really did get caught up, just like you said,
- 57:14Speaker 1: because she made you feel like the your old player self. Okay,
- 57:19Speaker 1: so you used to be a player. You had lots
- 57:21Speaker 1: of swag, you all got all that, you had lots
- 57:24Speaker 1: of fine women. But you're risted all all your money,
- 57:29Speaker 1: every your marriage, everything for this, I mean, and really,
- 57:34Speaker 1: all she wanted was some of that eight hundred thousand
- 57:36Speaker 1: dollars You thought she wanted some of the old player you. Huh,
- 57:40Speaker 1: she wants fifty thousand dollars. To be exact. The problem
- 57:44Speaker 1: as I see it, if you pay her off, what's
- 57:47Speaker 1: to say she won't come back for like the title says,
- 57:51Speaker 1: mo money, Because how many videos of you guys does
- 57:55Speaker 1: she have? I mean, she taped you guys a lot,
- 58:00Speaker 1: so she probably has them stash somewhere. They're all on
- 58:03Speaker 1: her phone whatever the case, she has a lot of videos.
- 58:06Speaker 1: And how do you ever know if you you know,
- 58:08Speaker 1: if she won't keep coming back asking you for money.
- 58:11Speaker 1: I mean, this is craziness. You're right, you can't take
- 58:15Speaker 1: that kind of money out of your account without wife
- 58:17Speaker 1: finding out. You're in a mess here, and I really
- 58:20Speaker 1: don't know how to help you. I wish you had
- 58:22Speaker 1: asked us before, you know, you got busy with your
- 58:26Speaker 1: your niece in law, your wife's niece, then we could
- 58:29Speaker 1: have really helped you. Untild you don't do it. But now,
- 58:33Speaker 1: I mean, what if we can't help you? Steve boy,
- 58:40Speaker 1: listen to me, sir, old player, you're asking a lot
- 58:44Speaker 1: of trouble. Though I hadn't been a lot of spots before,
- 58:50Speaker 1: I ain't been in this one. You your boy boy,
- 58:56Speaker 1: you're in a situation. Yeah, I mean listen. Man, let
- 59:00Speaker 1: me start by saying this, why you open the letter?
- 59:03Speaker 1: You set yourself up. I'm a fifty six year old
- 59:06Speaker 1: old man with lots of swag. I've had fine women
- 59:11Speaker 1: all my life. It wasn't but eight years ago. You
- 59:15Speaker 1: decided this time to get mad, and I found a
- 59:17Speaker 1: good woman to settle down with. I've always fooled around
- 59:21Speaker 1: with a lotto, and I thought you was gonna say
- 59:23Speaker 1: something else right there. But I've always fooled around what
- 59:27Speaker 1: you should have said, because that's what really happened. I've
- 59:30Speaker 1: always fooled around. Let's just stop there, and then you're
- 59:33Speaker 1: surprised and said, with a lot on bought some scratch
- 59:36Speaker 1: offs in the year ago. I got lucky. I want
- 59:39Speaker 1: eight hundred thousand dollars. My wife and I retired, paid
- 59:43Speaker 1: everything off, traveled a little bit. Then your wife's twenty
- 59:48Speaker 1: six year old niece in the Coulinary School, so y'all
- 59:50Speaker 1: high as your personal shell. She came three days a
- 59:53Speaker 1: week to come. My wife volunteers out of senior daycare
- 59:57Speaker 1: most afternoon, so I was left home alone beneath she
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: was cooking niece and slim and fine, yeah boy with
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: long legs and a nice but yeah boy. Yeah. We
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: talked and sip wine while she cooked, yamn one. And
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: whenever she left, I give a nice tip, and she
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: give me a hull. Here where the problem is right here?
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: This nice tip you gave her. You was testing the waters.
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: Then you was flexing and playing big willie. You already
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: paying her. So what's the name extra tip for she
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: ain't come up for three days a week. Okay, player,
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: when I come back, I'm gonna read you the rest
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: of your rights. You're asking trouble. Oh yeah, all right.
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: We'll have part two of Steve's response coming up in
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: twenty three minutes after the hour. Today's Strawberry letters subject
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: more money, more problems. We'll get back into it right
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: after this. You're listening, right, Steve. Come on, let's get
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: back into this letter. Let's recap more money more. We
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: can see this letter coming. Fits six year old man
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: tells us at the top of his letter that he
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: got a lot of swag and he didn't hand fine
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: women all his life. Way to set us up, honey,
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: you got another one seemed like too. Now, eight years
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: ago you decided it was time to get married, and
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: you found a good woman to settle down with. They've
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: been all over the place. Dog, he was just a player.
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: I've always fooled around, It's what he said. He could
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: have stopped right there and put up dot dot dot,
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: but he kept talking. He said he fooled around with
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: lotto and bought scratch offs. By the year ago, I
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: got lucky one eight hundred thousand. My wife and I retired,
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: paid everything off, travel a little bit, and then your
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: wife haven't had this little twenty six year old nieces
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: in culiary school. Y'all still playing big Willie. You hide
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: her as our personal chef. She came three days a week. Now,
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: let me tell you something. I don't know how y'all
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: spiing eight hundred thousand. But if you fifty six and
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: you got eight hundred thousand and you're hiring personal shels
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: and traveler, dog, I don't. I don't know what fun
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: you didn't put this eight hundred in? But could you
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: please please call me partner because you spend it? Right now?
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: How everybody quit on eight hundred? Dog? You ain'tble fifty six? Dog?
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: Have you doc? Have you thought this out? So? Dog?
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: If at fifty, at fifty thousand a year, five and
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: ten years, five hundred thousand gone, you ain'tble sixty six,
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: y'all must be playing on dying then I mean, I mean,
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: I mean anyway, maybe you got some more money, but
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: that ain't the story anyway. Your wife volunteer to senior daycare,
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: so I was left home with your niece when she
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: was cooking niece and slim, and here we go. And
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: that's just how you like them too, Remember you like
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: fine women with long legs and a nice but yeah,
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: we talked and sip mine while she cooked them. Whatever
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: she left, i'd give a nice tip and she'd give
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: me a hug, which means you couldn't wait to give
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: her the tip because you wanted to hug from the
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: long legs and the nice button and the fine girl,
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: because that's what you used to And you've been fooling
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: around your whole life because you, Jeff, wanted to get
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: married eight years ago. Your answer forty eight fo. You
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: gave it up, dam but it was stealing you was
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: deep in you, wasn't it dogging? One day the hug
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: turned into a kissing. The kiss turned in the sex
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: as usually high gold. You don't usually have sex then
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: start kissing. I got that. She initiated it after that day.
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: Now she initiated. Now let me tell you why she
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: initiated it, dog, because these big tips she was giving
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: hug and then that hug that you was hanging on too,
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: extra she twenty six. You know what that is? I
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: got this old fool. Okay, So she initiated it, and
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: we had sex several times a week, so she had
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: to initiate that every time. So and then she initiated,
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: and she was real freaking and she always wanted to
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: do it in the kitchen. So now you know you.
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: You are now on the cutting blocking, stepping in draws,
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: and everything got dish tiles everywhere. I got caught up
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: and started giving her a lot more money. See now,
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: listen to this. He's saying that this made me feel
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: like the old player that I used to be. No,
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: it didn't. Started giving her a lot of money made
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: you feel like the old player you used to be.
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: Now giving her a lot of money made you feel
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: like the old sugar daddy that you are. Say, make
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: you feel like the old player you was when you
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: give a younger girl a whole lot of money for
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: sexual favors, you're sugar daddy. Dog. You ain't the old
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: player no more. You are old fool. You're sugar daddy.
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: But the sugar got too good to you. And this
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: made me feel like the old player I used to be.
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: And I wasn't thinking straight. This girl had been filming
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: us having sex over and over and over again. Now
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: in the beginning she told you she liked to film
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: herself in the kitchen, And what't y'all in the kitchen? Yeah?
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: What what was you thinking about? How you didn't get
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: that damn phone? Dog? How you didn't get the damn phone?
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: You got caught up? Well, now she's the man that
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: I give her fifty thousand or she telling my wife.
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: Now now here come, here comes the old player. I
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: can't move as much money out of our account without
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: my wife and daughter, which means the player he used
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: to be and the old sugar daddy he is is
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: now entrapped. So now he talked out. He talking about
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: I ain't giving her nothing. All. He's saying, I can't
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: move that much money out of my account without my
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: wife knowing it. To make it worse, I can't fire
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: her without my wife questioning it. I'd rather fire her
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: and have my wife question that. Then the hunt sit
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: up in the head, start rolling, take and now hit
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: it food. I ain't slept in days. I'm a nervous ring.
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: How am I gonna get out of this? Please help, pimp.
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: You can't see, pimp, there is no get out of this.
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: See you're in the quantity. So here's what you gotta
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: do part. You got to sit the niece down, and
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: you got to explain the situation, the problem you in
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: that I can'tnot move this much money without my wife. No,
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: I just can't do it. You're gonna have to say that,
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: all right. Then you're gonna have to beg huh, your
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: punk ass gonna have to start crying. Crying, Yeah, that's
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: all you got on all right, you got his tears.
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: And when I come back, I'm gonna just finish a
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: little bit more this when we come back, just ain't much,
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: just a little bit, okay, all right? And then Junior
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: is here with the new poem too, coming up in
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: forty six minutes after the hour. Right after this you're listening,
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: Steve had a little more. He wanted to put on
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: the Strawberry letter um from this older gentleman who got
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: into a bit of trouble with his wife's niece. At
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: this boy sleeping with the girl. His wife's niece is
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: in Colorary school. She fine. He an old player, used
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: to have got l swag and always been around fine women.
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: Were he been paying her money, tipping her and hugging
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: every time she leaves his wife volunteering down at a
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: senior home. He and here just acting a damn food
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: with his old stupid ass. Now he didn't got caught up,
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: and this made him like the old player that he was.
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: I had to remind him this don't remind you the
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: old player you was. This reminds you the old sugar
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: daddy that you are, because that's all you are now.
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: Now now the girl is trying to embezzle him, extort
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: him out of fifty thousand or she telling my wife,
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: Now you scariest. Now you say I can't move this
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: much money out of I count without my wife knowing it.
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: To make it worse, I can't fire her without my
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: wife questioning it. I ain't slept in days. I'm a
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: nervous wreck. How am I gonna get out of this?
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: Please help ars him? Hear what you got to do.
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: You got to throw yourself on the mercy of the court.
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: You got the big and plead with the girl. That's
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: all you can do. Surely got it dead on the head.
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: If you give her the money she still got to take.
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: How your old ass hain't get that phone first day?
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: I never know. I don't know how caught up in
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: this thing you was but you got to be the
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: biggest damn food out of evers seen. Now you feel
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: to lose your wife, you feel to be back out
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: there and find out how big a player you are.
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: Let me tell you something, how big a player you ain't.
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: When your wife found out, she gonna divorce you, and
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: it's gonna create a rip ripple through the family. The
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: eight hundred thousand that you had, which I don't know
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: how much of that you got left, but more than
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: half of that's gone as soon as your wife find out,
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: she's gonna take all that damn money your ass just
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: for it to be an old broke ass food. And
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: you just set up here, quit your damn job. You're
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: gonna have to go back down there, get your damn job.

- 1:11:55Speaker 1: here today. You need you need to walk in that
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: house and not recognize your wife to mark, don't know
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: who the hell she is at all? Every time she
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: text you, snatch away who you? Who? You? Who? You?
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: Immediately this Harper, this is all you, bro. This is
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: your only chance test positive for COVID nineteen right now.
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: You got you got to get that test tomorrow. Now.

- 1:12:54Speaker 1: get this much fine flem and packet in your damn logs.
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: It's your Yeah, it's your only chance. Start peeing on
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: yourself right while you talking to start peeing on yourself.
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: That's lose all controlling. Yeah, I don't don't let it dry.
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: It's got to be no do it while you're talking
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: to it. Yeah, but as you drinking your coffee drink man,
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: all you got you got listening and Steve don't notice
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: the pecause she calls it out. She'll say yourself and
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: then and then you say, hell, now, hey, I'm nine
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: peeing on myself? What's wrong with you? And the matter?
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: Let me? And who are you? Ain't ain't nobody to
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: for pe on met man? Yeah, this is your only
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: route album yet Still she got the tapes. But that's
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: at least he can have that. You know, I wasn't

- 1:14:30Speaker 1: nothing for him. He can try all this, everything worked,
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: but the truth once this, once we see this footage,
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: that's a wrap. Man. If you can't catch her giving

- 1:21:29Speaker 1: who wasn't it, Tommy? Who wasn't it wasn't? Hey, Tommy,
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: you don't know what I did this real, I kid, y'all. Now,
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: I set outside and watched a trail of ants and
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: just was just as interested, fascinated, I mean, and had
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: built up a whole story of where they was going,
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: where they had come from, because you know, it was
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: a two lane highway system, it was a road go
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: in a role coming and I was just fascinating. They
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: went off into the grass. So I couldn't track them
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: because you know, I ain't. I don't My tracking skills
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: don't go with ants through grass. I don't know if
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: they just went in a whole underground, but I couldn't
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: find them. No over there went straight crossing and tire
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: little section out in the backyard, and I went out
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: but down. It was interesting, is what I did. This
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: is what I did because is the absolute truth, Because
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: it was I had nothing to do. I tried to
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: wet up a crow with the water holes. They are fast,
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: can't you can't get them. I'm trying. I'm trying to
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: get one, but you can't get it fast. Man. Hey,
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: y'all listen in this in this uh COVID nineteen time,
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: we just have to keep stressing to you the importance
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: of this time that we're going through. Uh. First of all,
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: it's let's just be aware of something. It's not just
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: happening to you. This ain't. I know you. I know
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: there are some people, not all of you, but there
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: are a lot of people going, oh woe is me? Well,
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: it's oh woe is us, It's oh woe is everybody?
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: Nobody's enjoying this. But you can find some enjoyment in it.
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: I mean, if you understand what I'm saying, Uh, there's
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: some family time in it. It's some closeness that can
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: be had. Look, I know it's some negative points to this,
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: got it. But if you're gonna sit here, it's in
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: your smart and your best interests to try to find
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: the positive in it. You can find the negative in anything,
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: you know. I complained so much about how tired I
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: was all the time. Man, I gotta work, I gotta
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: film this, I gotta tape that, I gotta do a
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: retake for this, I gotta go over here for that,
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: I gotta do this, I gotta do that. And I
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: just complained about it to the point where I'm in
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: here now and I'm not that busy. And you mean
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: to tell me that I have the nerve to complain
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: about that too, when I could very easily, as I've
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: decided to do, take this time and think of it
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: in a positive way. As bad as it is out
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: there and we are in a situation, admittedly a very
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: challenging situation, there is some good in this that is
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: a blessing in this. There is something that is coming
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: out of this that will benefit you. But you have
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: to be a person that looks for it. You have
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: to be watchful. You got to live your life in expectation.
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: I expect a blessing to be on the other side
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: of this. I expect to come out of this better
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: than I was. I've actually put some things in place
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: to ensure that. You know, God gives us choices. Here everybody,
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: this thing, this pandemic, that's global. It is worldwide. My
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: friends that I talk to in Botswanna, my friends I
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: talk to in Ghana, my friends I talk to in
- 1:25:13Speaker 1: South Africa, my friends I talk to in the UAE,
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: my friends I talk to in the Bahamas. This is global, man,
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: this affects us all. It's not just you. But you
- 1:25:25Speaker 1: have the power of choice. You can decide how to
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: view this situation. Now if you want to sit there
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: and be miserable about it, I can't believe we're in
- 1:25:35Speaker 1: this house another day. I know the kids is on
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: your nerves. I know you didn't feel like being no teacher.
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: I don't blame you. I'm not in that situation, but
- 1:25:44Speaker 1: I don't blame you, and I get it. I understand.
- 1:25:48Speaker 1: But find the positive, find the light at the end
- 1:25:53Speaker 1: of the tunnel. Look for the benefit of this. So
- 1:25:58Speaker 1: since you work all the time and always busy, take
- 1:26:01Speaker 1: advantage of this time of ease and refreshment. Take a
- 1:26:05Speaker 1: time in this to connect with your family, to become
- 1:26:07Speaker 1: more spiritual, to get in shape. Do our online workout course.
- 1:26:11Speaker 1: Do something. I learn how to cook more, go outside
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: and get that grill. I'll try some different recipes on
- 1:26:18Speaker 1: the grid. Do something, turn it into party. Take your
- 1:26:21Speaker 1: son outside, teach him how to grill, your daughter how
- 1:26:23Speaker 1: to grill. Do something. Man some activity. Man together. There
- 1:26:28Speaker 1: is an upside to this, but you have to look forward.
- 1:26:31Speaker 1: Live your life in the expectation. God is a good
- 1:26:34Speaker 1: god man, he really is. God has something for those
- 1:26:37Speaker 1: who live their life in expectation, who are hopeful. God
- 1:26:42Speaker 1: got something for us all. But we got to believe
- 1:26:45Speaker 1: that that's the case, and we got to look for it.
- 1:26:49Speaker 1: And also before we get out of here today, our
- 1:26:51Speaker 1: good partner, Ryan Cameron, fraternal radio brother, Ryan Cameron, needs
- 1:26:58Speaker 1: your thoughts and prayers. He's in spool, doesn't have corona,
- 1:27:01Speaker 1: bears another condition, and our prayers and and thoughts go
- 1:27:04Speaker 1: out to him and his family that Ryan Cameron will
- 1:27:08Speaker 1: get up and be just fine. We're praying for you, brother.
- 1:27:10Speaker 1: You you one of the best dudes I've ever met
- 1:27:13Speaker 1: in radio. Man. I've known Ryan for a long time. Man,
- 1:27:16Speaker 1: were praying for you, brother, God speed, You'll be fine.
- 1:27:19Speaker 1: That's our prayer. Prayer works, prayd work better than anything
- 1:27:26Speaker 1: in that thing. For all Steve Harvey contests No purchase necessary,
