- 0:00Speaker 1: Today show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time. Y'all
- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know y'all.
- 0:09Speaker 2: At all at all, So don't given them all.
- 0:15Speaker 3: Black a million bus busy.
- 0:24Speaker 2: Listening to me.
- 0:26Speaker 3: Shot Joy, Yeah, Joy, you know you love.
- 1:06Speaker 4: You gotta turn you.
- 1:41Speaker 2: Got to turn the mouth turn.
- 1:43Speaker 3: You probably got to turn the mouth turn out to
- 1:46Speaker 3: turn the water of.
- 1:47Speaker 2: The mony up looking come come out?
- 1:59Speaker 1: You think that?
- 2:00Speaker 5: Uh huh, I sure will. Good morning everybody. You are
- 2:05Speaker 5: listening to the voice? Come on, dig me now what
- 2:08Speaker 5: and only Steve Harvey got a radio show? Man, oh man,
- 2:12Speaker 5: oh man? How good is God to me? And part
- 2:16Speaker 5: of the mission and the reason that I have a
- 2:18Speaker 5: radio show is to become a share of more and
- 2:23Speaker 5: more of a share of you know. I used to
- 2:26Speaker 5: hear my mother say it to me all the time,
- 2:28Speaker 5: But God blesses you to become a blessing. And I
- 2:31Speaker 5: think the more you understand that about yourself, I think
- 2:34Speaker 5: the more blessings will flow your way. I think that
- 2:37Speaker 5: once you understand the principle that.
- 2:41Speaker 1: You know.
- 2:42Speaker 5: But it's kind of tied together with some other scriptures,
- 2:44Speaker 5: and I'm not too knowledgeable about them, of course, as usual,
- 2:48Speaker 5: but I do know what I've heard, you know, and
- 2:51Speaker 5: you know if you look at something simple as do
- 2:53Speaker 5: unto others as you would have them do unto you,
- 2:57Speaker 5: wouldn't you want somebody to help you if you need
- 3:00Speaker 5: needed help. I just know how to get it down
- 3:03Speaker 5: there to where I've been able to understand it. If
- 3:07Speaker 5: there's a scripture similar that it says do unto others
- 3:11Speaker 5: as you would have them do unto you, or if
- 3:15Speaker 5: that's you know, in a prayer, would not you want
- 3:20Speaker 5: somebody to help you if you needed help? You've heard
- 3:26Speaker 5: you reap what you sow? Do you understand that if
- 3:31Speaker 5: you so discord, that discord is gonna come your way.
- 3:35Speaker 5: That if you hate, hate gonna come your way. If
- 3:39Speaker 5: you blog nothing but negative comments about people, your life
- 3:43Speaker 5: will be filled with negativity. If all you do is
- 3:47Speaker 5: talk about people, then guess what somebody got to turn
- 3:50Speaker 5: that gun around and talk about you. See, it just
- 3:54Speaker 5: stands to reason. So what I've learned in my life
- 3:58Speaker 5: and through all the trial and tribulations that I've had,
- 4:02Speaker 5: is to take those lessons and share them with people
- 4:06Speaker 5: in case you ain't heard it from somebody else. See
- 4:10Speaker 5: sometimes and the reason it seems like I'm redundant, at times,
- 4:14Speaker 5: is which I am is because I'm always trying to
- 4:17Speaker 5: find a different way to say the same thing. Because
- 4:20Speaker 5: it's a funny thing. Man, You got to hear it
- 4:23Speaker 5: a certain way for it to click with you. How
- 4:27Speaker 5: many times have I heard a saying and then I
- 4:32Speaker 5: heard it a different way that it clicked with me.
- 4:37Speaker 5: You know, I've heard of this saying right here. Remember
- 4:41Speaker 5: this now, everybody's not.
- 4:42Speaker 1: Happy for you.
- 4:43Speaker 5: We've all heard that, right everybody's not happy for you. Well,
- 4:48Speaker 5: that's very simple. I don't need no explanation. That simply
- 4:52Speaker 5: means of all the people you know or do not know,
- 4:57Speaker 5: when something happens to you and you celebrating.
- 4:59Speaker 1: It, everybody not gonna join in on the celebration.
- 5:03Speaker 5: That's all that is. But then you take it one
- 5:06Speaker 5: step further. My father used to say something to me
- 5:08Speaker 5: all the time. He said, son, everybody come with you
- 5:11Speaker 5: can't go with you. I didn't get that when I
- 5:13Speaker 5: was fifteen. Everybody come with you can't go with you.
- 5:16Speaker 5: He said, you're gonna lose some of these friends you
- 5:18Speaker 5: got along the way. But I don't care where you
- 5:21Speaker 5: get in life. Know this right here, everybody can't go
- 5:26Speaker 5: with you if you are constantly trying to improve yourself.
- 5:29Speaker 5: You constantly have to take assessment of the people around you,
- 5:34Speaker 5: because if you are going to continue to go and
- 5:36Speaker 5: continue to grow, then guess what you got to have
- 5:39Speaker 5: people that's on the goal and willing to grow, or else,
- 5:43Speaker 5: guess what you're gonna learn the valuable lesson. You know,
- 5:48Speaker 5: the late boxing promoter Butch Lewis. I was talking with
- 5:52Speaker 5: Butch Lewis one time, and man with a good brother man.
- 5:56Speaker 5: He say, every successful man is doing what I I
- 6:00Speaker 5: call he got rope work to do. He got rope
- 6:03Speaker 5: work to do. He got to put in work on rope.
- 6:07Speaker 5: And I'm sitting there listening to Butch Lewis and all
- 6:10Speaker 5: the money he had made and all the people's lives
- 6:12Speaker 5: he had changed, and all of the moves he was making.
- 6:14Speaker 5: And he's an incredible skills as a negotiator on behalf
- 6:18Speaker 5: of some very very wealthy people. He was just an
- 6:21Speaker 5: amazing man with no education, but he read everything. He
- 6:25Speaker 5: Butch Lewis read all the papers, all the periodicals. That
- 6:29Speaker 5: brother knew everything. He said, you got to put in rope.
- 6:33Speaker 5: And I was sitting there listening. He said, here's the analogy.
- 6:36Speaker 1: Little brother.
- 6:37Speaker 5: He said, you are on rope. There's a thick rope.
- 6:41Speaker 5: You have on no shirt, you have on some tattered clothes.
- 6:45Speaker 5: You have on no shoes. Your shorts is cut off
- 6:49Speaker 5: just below the knee, and they tatted, and you got
- 6:51Speaker 5: dirt on you and your sweating. There's this huge, huge
- 6:55Speaker 5: raw rope over your shoulder. There's burn marks on all
- 6:59Speaker 5: of your sho Connected to that rope is a wagon.
- 7:03Speaker 5: That wagon has all your weight on it, all your responsibilities,
- 7:09Speaker 5: all the people you're responsible for, all your children, your wife,
- 7:13Speaker 5: your family members, your employees, your coworkers, your friends. They
- 7:19Speaker 5: all on that wagon. Man, They just sitting there. He's saying,
- 7:23Speaker 5: what you gotta do is you gotta pull that wagon.
- 7:25Speaker 1: Up the heel. Now.
- 7:26Speaker 5: The only thing with it is can't nobody help you
- 7:29Speaker 5: pull your wagon?
- 7:31Speaker 1: You pull your wagon alone. He say.
- 7:34Speaker 5: Now, what you can do along the way of pulling
- 7:36Speaker 5: your wagon is you can find yourself a good wife,
- 7:39Speaker 5: a good woman.
- 7:40Speaker 1: He say. Now, what that woman does is she get down.
- 7:43Speaker 5: Off the wagon. She fan you while you pull it.
- 7:46Speaker 5: She put water on you while you pull it. She
- 7:49Speaker 5: puts stuff in your mouth while you pull it. She
- 7:51Speaker 5: kicked rocks out the weight while you pull it. But
- 7:54Speaker 5: she but she pull it for you. But she is
- 7:56Speaker 5: equally as important as you are on the pull of
- 7:59Speaker 5: the He say, you hear me clearly now, young soldier.
- 8:02Speaker 5: He said, nah, I got this here, he says, people
- 8:05Speaker 5: on your wagon that you're responsible for. But you want
- 8:08Speaker 5: the people on your wagon to help you get your
- 8:11Speaker 5: wagon to the top. So what you hope is that
- 8:14Speaker 5: they got their foot hanging over the side pushing, They
- 8:18Speaker 5: got one leg over the back, or maybe both legs
- 8:21Speaker 5: over the back pushing. They got they might have their
- 8:24Speaker 5: butt on the wagon, but they push you with both legs.
- 8:26Speaker 5: They back facing your back, maybe some of them facing
- 8:29Speaker 5: you when one of them got left leg hanging over
- 8:31Speaker 5: trying to push. And you hope that all them people
- 8:35Speaker 5: on the wagon you pulling is back there at least
- 8:37Speaker 5: trying to help the wagon get to the top of
- 8:39Speaker 5: the hill.
- 8:40Speaker 1: Here go your problem.
- 8:41Speaker 5: Though everybody ain't pushing, Everybody ain't pulling. Ain't everybody ain't pulling,
- 8:47Speaker 5: Everybody ain't kicking rocks out the way. You got some
- 8:49Speaker 5: people on your wagon that's just laying on the wagon,
- 8:53Speaker 5: drinking lemonade, looking at you, talking about how long it's
- 8:57Speaker 5: taking you to get your wagon up to the top
- 9:00Speaker 5: at you talking about why this wagon is so slow.
- 9:02Speaker 5: Then when you start picking up picking up speed, they
- 9:05Speaker 5: want you to.
- 9:06Speaker 1: Pull harder, you to pull faster, you to pull more.
- 9:10Speaker 5: Then they want you to throw what you then earned
- 9:12Speaker 5: on the way up the hill backed on the wagon
- 9:14Speaker 5: so they can have MO.
- 9:15Speaker 1: But guess what, they ain't helping you get more.
- 9:17Speaker 5: But they got a sense of entitlement that since you
- 9:20Speaker 5: got MO, they should have MO.
- 9:22Speaker 1: Everybody come with you can't go with you.
- 9:25Speaker 5: Sometimes you gotta kick the people off the wagon that
- 9:28Speaker 5: ain't pushing and pull it and say, hey, man, I'm sorry.
- 9:31Speaker 5: I thought I could do this with you, and I
- 9:34Speaker 5: thought you was going with me. But it's clear to
- 9:36Speaker 5: me you ain't nothing but dead weight. And it ain't
- 9:38Speaker 5: my responsibility to carry dead weight anymore. I have carried
- 9:42Speaker 5: you as long as I have to carry you. You
- 9:44Speaker 5: are no longer my responsibility. I'm responsible for my family,
- 9:49Speaker 5: my wife, my children. I'm not responsible for you. You
- 9:52Speaker 5: got to get off my wagon because I'm a man
- 9:54Speaker 5: on rope. I'm on a mission, baby, I'm pulling here.
- 9:56Speaker 6: Listening into the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:03Speaker 5: Ladies and gentlemen, we are here in the midst of
- 10:07Speaker 5: another blessing.
- 10:09Speaker 1: We are present for another present.
- 10:14Speaker 5: We are the recipients of a whole lot of grace
- 10:18Speaker 5: and favor. You I'm talking to you. You are the
- 10:22Speaker 5: beneficiary of God's love. Man, that's just good news. That's
- 10:29Speaker 5: really really good news. I can't think of a better
- 10:32Speaker 5: way to start today, and I can't think of a
- 10:35Speaker 5: better individual or spirit to have to be benefiting from.
- 10:41Speaker 5: I just don't, man, this is just this is good.
- 10:44Speaker 5: This is really really good. Good morning everybody. Yeah, do
- 10:47Speaker 5: y'all thing today, but start your day with gratitude. Tell
- 10:50Speaker 5: God how much you appreciate it, because it's only him.
- 10:54Speaker 1: It is only him that could do the things he does.
- 10:57Speaker 5: Nobody else could give you life, Nobody else can provide
- 11:02Speaker 5: you with peace, Nobody else can be a very present
- 11:05Speaker 5: help in the time of trouble, any time you need it.
- 11:09Speaker 5: He the only one that can always be there. Johnny
- 11:12Speaker 5: on the Spot, Steve Harvey, Marney shows, Shirley Strawberry calling
- 11:16Speaker 5: Forrell Mississippi, Monica Junior, and the Legend that is Nephew
- 11:19Speaker 5: Tommy Junior.
- 11:20Speaker 1: Yuh going on with you? Stash?
- 11:23Speaker 7: Yeah good.
- 11:26Speaker 8: I want to talk to you about this, This is
- 11:27Speaker 8: just something up that I really want some help with.
- 11:32Speaker 8: And because you learn how to deal with these type people,
- 11:34Speaker 8: people that don't take no accountability for nothing that happened,
- 11:36Speaker 8: nothing accountability like it ain't never their fault. They're always saying, hey,
- 11:42Speaker 8: if this would have happened for me, I could have
- 11:44Speaker 8: did this. They never say it's their fault or they
- 11:47Speaker 8: take no accounta but no action, no nothing.
- 11:50Speaker 1: But how have you learned to deal with that?
- 11:52Speaker 5: Well, you know, Bishop Bronna has a big church down
- 11:57Speaker 5: in Atlanta. My daughter's actually remembered there. I heard him
- 12:02Speaker 5: say recently within the past year is something that was
- 12:05Speaker 5: very profound. He said, be conscious or careful of people
- 12:11Speaker 5: who are victims of circum circumstances that they created. Have
- 12:19Speaker 5: you ever met somebody that is always a victim but
- 12:24Speaker 5: off some decisions that they made, absolutely and you have
- 12:28Speaker 5: that person.
- 12:29Speaker 1: Everybody knows a person like that in their life.
- 12:32Speaker 5: You got to be aware of those people because if
- 12:34Speaker 5: you're not aware of what they're doing, you enable them,
- 12:38Speaker 5: you coddle them, and you constantly going oh, yeah, that's right,
- 12:41Speaker 5: I'm so sorry for you.
- 12:42Speaker 1: So what now, no, no, man, uh, what.
- 12:45Speaker 5: Did you do to bring this about because we are
- 12:48Speaker 5: all the sum told.
- 12:50Speaker 1: Of our decisions we make, So you have to be
- 12:52Speaker 1: conscious of that.
- 12:53Speaker 5: Now, as far as people who don't accept accountability, I
- 12:57Speaker 5: don't really have room for those people. You've heard the
- 13:00Speaker 5: old saying when you point your finger, always notice there's
- 13:02Speaker 5: three pointing back at you. Well, if you don't address
- 13:07Speaker 5: the three this pointing back of you at you, you
- 13:09Speaker 5: will never ever be able to fix the problem. When
- 13:12Speaker 5: you rut up into people who do it, don't accept accountability,
- 13:16Speaker 5: you are looking at a person who will never grow.
- 13:19Speaker 5: And all of us know people like that who just
- 13:21Speaker 5: are the same, who have been the same since we
- 13:24Speaker 5: known them, because they refuse to change, because ain't nothing
- 13:27Speaker 5: wrong with them. So you can't. You can't fix what
- 13:30Speaker 5: you don't claim to be broken. And so if you
- 13:33Speaker 5: don't claim accountability, then you're gonna you never gonna change.
- 13:35Speaker 7: Yes, coming up at thirty two minutes after the hour,
- 13:39Speaker 7: we'll run that brink back with the nephew. Right after this,
- 13:42Speaker 7: you're listening to the Steve Hardy Morning.
- 13:45Speaker 5: Show, Folks, there are a lot of reasons to like Honda.
- 13:53Speaker 5: Hyundai's done a lot to support American consumers. I mean,
- 13:57Speaker 5: they announced their investment of twenty one billion dollars in
- 14:01Speaker 5: the United States over the next three years that will
- 14:04Speaker 5: expand manufacturing and create more jobs for Americans.
- 14:07Speaker 9: And they just announced that they will not be raising
- 14:10Speaker 9: MSRP through June second. No matter what, call five six
- 14:14Speaker 9: two three one four four six zero three for more details.
- 14:19Speaker 7: It is time now to run that brank back with
- 14:21Speaker 7: the nephew. What you got for us, nep.

- 14:49Speaker 1: Right now? Hello?
- 14:51Speaker 11: Hello?
- 14:51Speaker 1: Who is this? Who is good? I'm looking for Kate Miller?
- 14:54Speaker 1: Who is Kate Miller?

- 15:33Speaker 1: You know you can't.
- 15:34Speaker 11: Handle it, And I don't appreciate no lightweight cup that
- 15:37Speaker 11: calling me accusing me of doing something I ain't done yet.
- 15:40Speaker 1: You and I will do it.
- 15:41Speaker 10: You look, don't start this here today, dog. I ain't
- 15:43Speaker 10: got enough in me right now to hold this pressure.
- 15:46Speaker 1: Now.
- 15:47Speaker 10: I'm looking for your so when I find you, Dog,
- 15:49Speaker 10: this ain't gonna be good between me and you now.
- 15:52Speaker 11: You donne got enough because you ain't your girl right
- 15:55Speaker 11: That's why you calling me accusing me. You know might
- 15:59Speaker 11: love brought it because it sounds like you ain't doing
- 16:02Speaker 11: what you're supposed to be doing.
- 16:03Speaker 10: Hey, dog, don't say here and say nothing stupid to

- 21:04Speaker 9: back in about another hour. We're going to be stupid
- 21:06Speaker 9: once again, and then we'll be stupid sprinkled again throughout
- 21:09Speaker 9: the show. That's just how we roll from the Timmy perspective.
- 21:13Speaker 5: Okay, hey man, I have a question. Do we do
- 21:16Speaker 5: prank praise on the all All run at prank Back?
- 21:20Speaker 9: Frank Praise is just a spirit about when it hits
- 21:22Speaker 9: your Steve, that's when that says do that.
- 21:25Speaker 7: Thank you nephew. Coming up next, we'll ask the COLO,
- 21:28Speaker 7: our chief Love Officer, Steve Harvey in the building. Right
- 21:31Speaker 7: after this. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 21:37Speaker 7: There's a reason zip Recruiter survey that says seventy six
- 21:40Speaker 7: percent of all employers plan to hire for twenty twenty
- 21:44Speaker 7: five this year. And if you're hiring, add zip Recruiter's
- 21:47Speaker 7: latest feature, Zip Intro, to your plan. It's easy. You
- 21:52Speaker 7: just pick a time and zip Intro finds and schedules
- 21:55Speaker 7: qualified candidates for you. Try it for free at ZipRecruiter
- 22:00Speaker 7: com slash strawberry. That ZipRecruiter dot com slash strawberry coming
- 22:05Speaker 7: up at the top of the hour. In entertainment news,
- 22:08Speaker 7: Carla has music news about the BET Awards. All right,
- 22:13Speaker 7: Kendrick Lamar is the brand new ambassador of for Chanel
- 22:17Speaker 7: and Ladies. The world's finest quarterback. NFL quarterback Jalen Hurts
- 22:23Speaker 7: you know who he is of the Philadelphia Eagles is
- 22:26Speaker 7: now a married man. We'll talk about all of these
- 22:31Speaker 7: curtains at the top of the hour, but right now
- 22:33Speaker 7: it is time to ask the clo. This is from
- 22:38Speaker 7: Caprice in Jonesboro. Caprice writes, my husband got a loan
- 22:42Speaker 7: from a credit union to buy his daughter a car.
- 22:45Speaker 7: The cars and his ex wife's name, and he is
- 22:48Speaker 7: the co signer. I'm not even mad. I'm hurt because
- 22:52Speaker 7: I had to find out from his ex wife. Why
- 22:54Speaker 7: is he doing things without telling me?
- 22:57Speaker 5: Obviously because he didn't want to hurt you. That's his thing,
- 23:02Speaker 5: that's why, that's his reasoning. Well, she said, I'm not
- 23:06Speaker 5: even mad, I'm hurt. Why is he doing stuff without
- 23:09Speaker 5: telling me? And that's why he did it because he knew,
- 23:12Speaker 5: first of all, you was gonna be mad. Secondly, he
- 23:16Speaker 5: would have had to run it by you to get approval,
- 23:18Speaker 5: and it probably would have been some debate and argument
- 23:21Speaker 5: about it. What he wanted to do was help his
- 23:24Speaker 5: daughter out. Now he did it by putting it in
- 23:27Speaker 5: his wife's name and co sign it. Okay, dog, that's
- 23:30Speaker 5: a little crazy because it just seemed to me like
- 23:34Speaker 5: you could have put it in your name, co signed
- 23:37Speaker 5: for it and gave a car to your daughter. If
- 23:39Speaker 5: you're gonna put it in your wife's name, your ex
- 23:41Speaker 5: wife's name, so she can give it to the daughter,
- 23:44Speaker 5: it would have been a smarter move if you put
- 23:46Speaker 5: the car in your name, signed for it, and then
- 23:49Speaker 5: gave it to your daughter, it would have cut out
- 23:51Speaker 5: a lot of mess. But you intertwined that X and
- 23:55Speaker 5: that's what created your problem.
- 23:57Speaker 7: Dog who couldn't wait to tell the current wife.
- 24:01Speaker 1: All couldn't wait? Up this on your face? Oh you
- 24:06Speaker 1: got him. But where he won't to be is with me?
- 24:11Speaker 1: All right? Yeah, he still spending money on me. He
- 24:15Speaker 1: was a good man.
- 24:17Speaker 7: Moving on to Aaron in Nashville, so lucky, Aaron writes
- 24:24Speaker 7: out of full length mirror by my bed, and when
- 24:27Speaker 7: my boyfriend and I have sex, he loves to watch himself.
- 24:30Speaker 7: He said it helps him with his technique and form.
- 24:35Speaker 7: I told him that it's sex, not weightlifting. Why is
- 24:38Speaker 7: he focused more on himself than on.
- 24:41Speaker 5: Mem Well, listen to this logic. This is the male logic.
- 24:49Speaker 5: If he's thinking it helps him with his form and.
- 24:53Speaker 1: Technique and technique, yeah.
- 24:55Speaker 5: Then you, if that were true, would be the beneficiary
- 25:02Speaker 5: of this outstanding form and technique. But let me tell
- 25:06Speaker 5: you why he's really looking in that mirror. Tell it
- 25:10Speaker 5: because it helps him stay prepared.
- 25:15Speaker 4: M hmm.
- 25:16Speaker 5: If that's the best way to say it, it helps him,
- 25:20Speaker 5: uh be able to perform longer.
- 25:24Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, here a young I've been what he young?
- 25:31Speaker 14: Young?
- 25:32Speaker 9: You know you get you know that mirror don't help
- 25:35Speaker 9: no moment. It's just you see too many flaws. There's
- 25:38Speaker 9: too much going on.
- 25:39Speaker 1: You can.
- 25:41Speaker 7: Flaw flaw.
- 25:43Speaker 5: It is a hard focus. Looking to the side, to
- 25:46Speaker 5: his head. You can't really take care of your duties.
- 25:52Speaker 5: That's right in front of you, looking off to the side.
- 25:57Speaker 7: So what are you thinking when you when you see
- 25:59Speaker 7: what you say in.
- 26:00Speaker 9: The mirror off to that not to Yes, I thought
- 26:04Speaker 9: I had Ooh, my legs need work.
- 26:13Speaker 7: All of the above, all right, So that's why Aaron
- 26:17Speaker 7: and Nashville. Moving on to Leslie and Teck, Leslie writes,
- 26:21Speaker 7: my boyfriend loves to FaceTime me and watch TV with
- 26:24Speaker 7: me and then fall asleep on the phone instead of
- 26:27Speaker 7: coming over and being with me. He only sees me
- 26:30Speaker 7: on the weekends and only at my house. If he's married,
- 26:34Speaker 7: how can he FaceTime me every day?
- 26:37Speaker 5: Well, I mean, lady, that's really a question you need
- 26:41Speaker 5: to answer yourself. If he's married, how can he FaceTime
- 26:47Speaker 5: me every day?
- 26:49Speaker 1: Listen to me.
- 26:50Speaker 5: Your problem is not that he's face timing you instead
- 26:54Speaker 5: of being over there. That's not what you're and stop
- 26:57Speaker 5: making this about that. You want to figure out if
- 27:00Speaker 5: your boyfriend is married or nothing? Yeah, well, why don't
- 27:03Speaker 5: you get to figure in that part?
- 27:07Speaker 1: What should she do? I we I'm coming over your house.
- 27:14Speaker 11: For her.
- 27:16Speaker 5: I'm coming over your house. We're not doing this, no
- 27:17Speaker 5: more to it. Next time we do it, if we
- 27:19Speaker 5: ever do it again, it'll be at your house.
- 27:22Speaker 1: Oh okay, that's all.
- 27:26Speaker 7: That's simple. Yeah, I'm very simple but effective. All right, Clo.
- 27:29Speaker 5: Now, if you if you do go over this house.
- 27:32Speaker 5: But y'all have to do it outside in the car
- 27:34Speaker 5: and get chancy mad?
- 27:37Speaker 7: What in the driveway?
- 27:40Speaker 1: That's good chance he married? Well, we here at the
- 27:42Speaker 1: house now.
- 27:45Speaker 7: I can't get a foot in the door.
- 27:48Speaker 5: Gosh, you keep trying to go inside. Girl, were at
- 27:51Speaker 5: my house, but you.
- 27:53Speaker 7: Wanted, isn't it?
- 27:56Speaker 1: Oh?
- 27:56Speaker 7: Well, all right, Celo, last one, the last one. This
- 28:00Speaker 7: is from Oscar and Valley Ranch. Oscar writes, my fiance
- 28:04Speaker 7: has stopped having sex since we got engaged. She said
- 28:08Speaker 7: she's saving herself for our wedding night. Maybe you can
- 28:12Speaker 7: talk some sense into her because she can't do me
- 28:14Speaker 7: like that. I don't like games. Why is she doing
- 28:17Speaker 7: this to me?
- 28:20Speaker 1: Well, it's not a game.
- 28:21Speaker 5: She really wants to prepare herself for the weddnight, so
- 28:25Speaker 5: that night of these special y'all will have missed each other.
- 28:28Speaker 1: That's the logic behind it.
- 28:30Speaker 5: But I don't understand why you think we need to
- 28:34Speaker 5: talk some sense into her.
- 28:36Speaker 1: That's the part that's throwing me.
- 28:38Speaker 4: Man.
- 28:39Speaker 5: I'm not in it like that. I don't care what
- 28:41Speaker 5: she do. Technically, Look, I don't care what she do. Uh,
- 28:46Speaker 5: I don't care she cut you off permanently. I don't
- 28:50Speaker 5: care if your fiance saved and decided to go down
- 28:53Speaker 5: to the nun college.
- 28:56Speaker 1: I don't no, is.
- 28:59Speaker 9: That not gonn you? No man can change that month.
- 29:02Speaker 9: The ladies won't stand for there's no man that can change.
- 29:06Speaker 1: I can't. I got nothing for you.
- 29:10Speaker 5: Okay, you're gonna break up with it or just move
- 29:14Speaker 5: the wed date up.
- 29:17Speaker 7: Tomorrow?
- 29:18Speaker 1: Baby, Look, I love you so much.
- 29:19Speaker 5: Let's get on down to this courthouse and do this
- 29:22Speaker 5: thing Friday.
- 29:26Speaker 1: Yeah, pretty up stuff.
- 29:28Speaker 8: You're talking about the gate Wait till you say I do?
- 29:30Speaker 8: And why wake after? You think you ain't getting none that?
- 29:36Speaker 5: Yeah, all these Nashions like we're on a mission in Afghanistan?
- 29:44Speaker 1: What is all this about? How is that for a
- 29:49Speaker 1: rud Awaken up?
- 29:52Speaker 8: I'm trying to initiate it. I have came and I
- 29:54Speaker 8: have had my clothes off.
- 29:56Speaker 1: She said, put your clothes on. We gotta go eat.
- 29:58Speaker 4: You ain't see me.
- 29:59Speaker 1: I would say it all.
- 30:03Speaker 7: She ignored.
- 30:06Speaker 5: What you Later, they got your junior draws.
- 30:12Speaker 7: Got that new mustash and everything.
- 30:14Speaker 1: Nothing right on up.
- 30:20Speaker 7: Coming up at the top of the hour. Thank you feelow,
- 30:23Speaker 7: We'll have some entertainment news for you right after this.
- 30:27Speaker 7: You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, guys, here's
- 30:35Speaker 7: some trending entertainment news from our home station in Philly.
- 30:38Speaker 7: One oh five point three w d A s. The
- 30:42Speaker 7: world's finest quarterback, Jalen Hurts of the world champion Philadelphia
- 30:47Speaker 7: Eagles married his longtime girlfriend Bree Burrows. Jalen did a
- 30:52Speaker 7: recent interview with Men's Health magazine. When he confirmed that yes,
- 30:56Speaker 7: he is married, he told the interviewer quote, you can
- 30:59Speaker 7: call her my wife. As he arrived to his interview
- 31:02Speaker 7: carrying a pink post it with a sweet message from
- 31:04Speaker 7: Brie that read, you are exactly where you're supposed to be.
- 31:08Speaker 7: I love you, follow God, I follow you. I love that.
- 31:12Speaker 7: Congratulations to mister and missus Jalen Hurts, Yeah, love your queen.
- 31:18Speaker 10: Yes, that.
- 31:21Speaker 1: Can. Everybody ain't following the hug. Everybody ain't doing that.
- 31:28Speaker 7: You're okay over there, nephew.
- 31:30Speaker 1: Just people going other directions.
- 31:32Speaker 9: If you're going to the store, Jack and Jill gotta
- 31:35Speaker 9: go around here to Lauren Hawse. People ain't following the hub.
- 31:43Speaker 7: Between a line.
- 31:47Speaker 1: I don't know what you're going.
- 31:48Speaker 7: Through something though, isn't it?
- 31:53Speaker 1: Oh man?
- 31:55Speaker 4: Love?
- 31:57Speaker 7: Yeah, I did.
- 31:58Speaker 1: It's beautiful. It really is well, ladies, he's off the market.
- 32:05Speaker 7: Next all right, So another entertainment new Chanelle has tapped
- 32:12Speaker 7: Kendrick Lamar as its new brand ambassador. Kendricks has signed
- 32:16Speaker 7: on to star in a new iwear campaign for Chanelle.
- 32:19Speaker 7: Kendrick told Business of Fashion, I visited the Chanelle stores
- 32:25Speaker 7: and I saw the process of how something goes from
- 32:28Speaker 7: design to execution. Seeing that people who work hard and
- 32:31Speaker 7: bring these visions to life resonates with me. Chanelle has
- 32:34Speaker 7: a timeless legacy and that is always something I can
- 32:37Speaker 7: get behind. Since they don't make clothes for men, I
- 32:40Speaker 7: knew it would have to be glasses. That's the end
- 32:44Speaker 7: of Kendrick Lamar's quote.
- 32:45Speaker 5: So that's what I was sitting to say. What it
- 32:48Speaker 5: was where Chanelle started making me as clothes.
- 32:54Speaker 7: Well, he has the glasses, so congratulations to him. And
- 32:57Speaker 7: questioned what brand would you like to be an ambassador for?
- 33:01Speaker 7: Have you thought about that? For brands? So many designers?
- 33:08Speaker 7: All right, that's okay, uh huh, Junior.
- 33:15Speaker 15: May Yes, I knew it was the Lord put me
- 33:25Speaker 15: up there as a mannequin.
- 33:27Speaker 16: Yes, brand start say oh, come on, friends and family,
- 33:35Speaker 16: they got it all ju.
- 33:39Speaker 7: All right, Steve, which brand.
- 33:41Speaker 1: I don't know. I've been trying to sit here and think, Man,
- 33:44Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 33:46Speaker 7: Because you wear so many designs.
- 33:47Speaker 5: Thinking about it, let me think, man, if I had
- 33:52Speaker 5: no fast.
- 33:54Speaker 1: Bro, look at his face he left.
- 34:00Speaker 5: Oh Tommy, nothing and I mean nothing would mean more
- 34:13Speaker 5: to me.

- 34:32Speaker 5: money or cares about bass Pro Modus, Steve Ardy, everything.
- 34:44Speaker 1: Everything.
- 34:45Speaker 5: I can't even tell you the joy I have of
- 34:49Speaker 5: going in them stores.
- 34:50Speaker 1: Now I get beat up. I gotta take pictures that
- 34:52Speaker 1: I got it.

- 35:06Speaker 5: the the.
- 35:08Speaker 1: Connective tissue is fishing.
- 35:11Speaker 5: I have learned more from talking to old men in
- 35:15Speaker 5: them aisles at bass Pro Shop that I learned in
- 35:20Speaker 5: just out there on the lake by myself. And them
- 35:23Speaker 5: old dudes know some stuff, man, and they ain't got
- 35:26Speaker 5: no problem share. Steve tried this little right here, this
- 35:29Speaker 5: is right here. A man when you bring it back
- 35:33Speaker 5: jercket in now and then then let it settle down,
- 35:37Speaker 5: being really in the jacket two times, then let it
- 35:40Speaker 5: settle back down. And I'll tell you right now, ain't
- 35:43Speaker 5: tell this thing got your hands what they gonna do?

- 38:02Speaker 7: is matched by her commitment to advocacy and empowerment.
- 38:06Speaker 1: Wait a minute host to President of Spelman.
- 38:09Speaker 7: Rosalind Rosalind Brewer Brewer, Roslyn Brewer uh huh, yeah, she's
- 38:15Speaker 7: the interim president. Yes at Spelman, I only know one
- 38:19Speaker 7: Roslyn Brewer. Okay, Well, Miss Brewer said that Taraji's brilliance
- 38:25Speaker 7: on screen is matched by her commitment to advocacy and empowerment,
- 38:30Speaker 7: making her a powerful role model for our graduating students
- 38:33Speaker 7: as they prepare to step into the world and lead
- 38:36Speaker 7: in their own extraordinary ways. So, Steve, you've been a
- 38:42Speaker 7: guest speaker at a few graduation ceremonies and we're living
- 38:46Speaker 7: in some very trying times. So what advice would you
- 38:49Speaker 7: give to a class of twenty twenty five graduate.
- 38:52Speaker 5: I mean, it's simple for me, as follow your dreams
- 38:55Speaker 5: because that's the eventure that's eventually the thing that will
- 38:59Speaker 5: make you thirst and chase the best. Now, you can
- 39:03Speaker 5: go get a job, but I suggest if you go
- 39:05Speaker 5: and get a job, then have your job bankroll your
- 39:09Speaker 5: dreams because listen to me, life becomes worth it when
- 39:14Speaker 5: you are chasing what you were born to do.
- 39:17Speaker 1: And that's not.
- 39:18Speaker 5: Always the case with your particular degree, as most people
- 39:24Speaker 5: find out. But now you are, by sitting in this
- 39:28Speaker 5: room today, you have proven something that you are capable
- 39:32Speaker 5: of completing very difficult tasks and you have the ability
- 39:37Speaker 5: to see it through and you are an amazing person
- 39:41Speaker 5: on recall, recalling, of information, testing all of that. So
- 39:47Speaker 5: take all those jewels and positive points that you've developed
- 39:53Speaker 5: over the years and applied to your life, because real
- 39:55Speaker 5: life starts after graduation. You go get out this bubble
- 39:59Speaker 5: of the campus life. You go get out the bubble
- 40:02Speaker 5: of being a college student. Afterwards, life really begins, and
- 40:08Speaker 5: you've got to be ready for that. And when real
- 40:12Speaker 5: life really begins, chase your dreams. That's my message to everybody.
- 40:18Speaker 5: And that's why I've never been invited back twice.
- 40:22Speaker 1: Really, anybody has me to come back down here again.
- 40:26Speaker 5: Because educators are funny people, especially doctors and stuff, because
- 40:30Speaker 5: they play so much emphasis on education and the importance
- 40:33Speaker 5: of education. And it is if you want to be
- 40:35Speaker 5: a teacher, doctor Dennis Lawyer, absolutely, but if you're not
- 40:40Speaker 5: that person, what do you have?
- 40:44Speaker 1: And you have your dreams and your.
- 40:46Speaker 5: Visions and you know, I say that, which means a
- 40:50Speaker 5: lot to the students. And I can't tell you how
- 40:52Speaker 5: many students have came up to me afterwards years later
- 40:55Speaker 5: and thank you. But the PhD is sitting behind me
- 40:58Speaker 5: with them castles on their head with them on their rods.
- 41:01Speaker 1: They not feeling that.
- 41:03Speaker 7: Oh wow, all right, Steve, coming up at thirty four
- 41:07Speaker 7: minutes after the hour. We'll check your voicemail at eight
- 41:10Speaker 7: seven seven twenty nine, Steve. Right after this, you're listening,
- 41:14Speaker 7: she's a Steve Hardy morning shouting. It is time now
- 41:21Speaker 7: to check your voicemail Steve at eight seven seven twenty nine, Steve,
- 41:25Speaker 7: you can call and leave a message. You just might
- 41:27Speaker 7: hear your call on the air.

- 42:15Speaker 9: That is true when when when the teacher gone, he'd
- 42:18Speaker 9: be off the chain.
- 42:23Speaker 1: When the junior junior need his own show, then that's
- 42:30Speaker 1: what the teacher says.
- 42:34Speaker 7: Really, you're the one that encourages everyone that.
- 42:39Speaker 1: When I got off the call, I don't know who

- 43:41Speaker 5: Man?
- 43:42Speaker 1: Man?
- 43:42Speaker 20: Uh, y'all guys doing a good job. I just want
- 43:46Speaker 20: to say something about the Miss America page. I know
- 43:48Speaker 20: it's old news, but y'all bring it up time of time. Man,
- 43:52Speaker 20: I just want to say that you are the worst
- 43:54Speaker 20: person for that job.
- 43:55Speaker 1: Well you bash me.

- 44:10Speaker 20: Got two people left and you announced the runner up. Man,
- 44:13Speaker 20: that was the set up from the beginning. But man,
- 44:15Speaker 20: I appreciate you. Love what you're doing. Shirley Caller, Tommy
- 44:19Speaker 20: you the king of stupid unr love.
- 44:21Speaker 1: Your boy thief. Yeah, I don't. I don't really understand
- 44:26Speaker 1: what that call was about.
- 44:29Speaker 16: It. Yeah, because he said he felt you were set up.

- 45:16Speaker 5: I don't give it what you think now you either
- 45:19Speaker 5: one of them, because I truly truly feel.

- 56:39Speaker 9: We got it for you. Hear it in Strawberry Letter.
- 56:43Speaker 7: Thank you, nephew. Subject if he's up, everybody needs to
- 56:47Speaker 7: be up. Dis Steven Shirley. My husband and I are
- 56:50Speaker 7: forty eight years old. We have a fourteen year old
- 56:52Speaker 7: son and a nine year old son. And one thing
- 56:54Speaker 7: about my husband, He's going to have some kind of
- 56:57Speaker 7: intimacy every night of the week. I stopped fighting it
- 57:01Speaker 7: when I met him. We had sex on our first
- 57:03Speaker 7: date and we've been together since. It's what made us
- 57:07Speaker 7: closer because we have such great chemistry. When I had
- 57:11Speaker 7: our first child, he got jealous and it killed him
- 57:13Speaker 7: to wait until my body was ready for sex again.
- 57:16Speaker 7: Everyone in our family knows how spicy we are, and
- 57:19Speaker 7: it's a running joke. My mother stayed with us for
- 57:22Speaker 7: a week after I gave birth to the second boy.
- 57:25Speaker 7: My husband showed out every night, and she finally said
- 57:28Speaker 7: something to me about it. She asked if I enjoyed
- 57:31Speaker 7: it as much as my husband did. I blushed and
- 57:34Speaker 7: I could not believe. My mom asked me that I
- 57:37Speaker 7: can't get my husband to be quiet or stay in
- 57:40Speaker 7: one room. He wakes our sons up sometimes because he
- 57:43Speaker 7: yells or moans the whole time. He overdoes it every time.
- 57:48Speaker 7: His reactions are better than any gift he could ever
- 57:51Speaker 7: give me. He always thanks me over and over and
- 57:55Speaker 7: calls me his queen. My two aunts think think it
- 57:59Speaker 7: is unknown natural, and I can't tell them if they're
- 58:02Speaker 7: both haters, or I can't tell if they're both haters,
- 58:05Speaker 7: or if there might be really something wrong with my husband.
- 58:08Speaker 7: I wouldn't consider him a sex addict, but there are
- 58:11Speaker 7: times when he will not take no for an answer.
- 58:14Speaker 7: As we get older, I wonder if I will be
- 58:16Speaker 7: able to keep up with him because he does not
- 58:18Speaker 7: believe in quickies. Is it cool to still be that
- 58:22Speaker 7: loud and wild during intimacy after sixteen years of marriage?
- 58:27Speaker 7: Well to that, I have to say, girl, yes, you
- 58:30Speaker 7: know that depends on you too. I just say, please,
- 58:33Speaker 7: don't listen to those haters. Enjoy your life. Okay, there's
- 58:38Speaker 7: nothing wrong with your husband except he has a very
- 58:40Speaker 7: high libido. You guys are only forty eight, You're grown,
- 58:45Speaker 7: and the kids are not babies anymore. Although I don't
- 58:48Speaker 7: think he should be wagging them up at night with
- 58:50Speaker 7: all of that. Could he be more quiet? He could
- 58:54Speaker 7: probably take it down and not your two. But it
- 58:56Speaker 7: is his house and he's free to do what he wants.
- 59:00Speaker 7: Question is why are your aunties all up in your business?
- 59:03Speaker 7: And how does everyone in your family know what's going
- 59:06Speaker 7: on in your house? Is it your mom telling them?
- 59:09Speaker 7: I mean, who's telling them?
- 59:10Speaker 14: You?
- 59:11Speaker 7: Are you telling them? They're all too nosy? You yourself
- 59:14Speaker 7: said his reactions are the greatest gifts he could ever
- 59:17Speaker 7: give you. So if you're not doing anything that makes
- 59:20Speaker 7: you feel uncomfortable, if it's painful in any way, and
- 59:23Speaker 7: he won't stop, or something like that, then I would
- 59:26Speaker 7: say that would be a problem. You seem happy to me, so,
- 59:30Speaker 7: like I said earlier, enjoy your life, Steve.
- 59:35Speaker 14: You know.
- 59:39Speaker 1: What, too much? It's too much.
- 59:45Speaker 5: Go sit down somewhere. Wait a minute, stop it. I
- 59:50Speaker 5: don't feel like it, not tonight.
- 59:54Speaker 1: You just had some what you won't now, don't don't
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: touch me. I'm I'm over this. What's the matter with you?
- 1:00:13Speaker 4: What in here?
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: Child's be quiet, these kids? Get away from the joke.
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: We all right, I'm just I am. I'm fine. Get
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: waiting the door now, Charles Junr. Charles Jr.
- 1:00:35Speaker 5: The second, Get wait, I'm in here with your mama.
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: A ah, heart is I ain't never had nothing like this.
- 1:00:50Speaker 14: Here me.
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: No, tell the neighbors, tell him.
- 1:00:57Speaker 7: I'll be off the minute.
- 1:01:01Speaker 5: Girl, I don't want to put fill out my mouth.
- 1:01:08Speaker 5: Shirley said, this my house. I do what I want to.
- 1:01:11Speaker 5: This letter crazy, This letter is crazy.
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: She said, both of them.
- 1:01:18Speaker 5: For the the one thing about my husband, he gonna
- 1:01:20Speaker 5: have some kind of intimacy every.
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: Night of the wee.
- 1:01:27Speaker 5: Shirley said, girl ignored them, going to enjoy your life?
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: How this every night? This is every night.
- 1:01:40Speaker 5: I stopped fighting when I met him. We had sex
- 1:01:44Speaker 5: on our first date and we've been together since. It's
- 1:01:52Speaker 5: what made us closer. You can't get no closer if
- 1:01:57Speaker 5: y'all always being intimate. You were as close as you
- 1:02:01Speaker 5: can get. When I had my first child, he got
- 1:02:04Speaker 5: jealous and it killed him to wait until my body
- 1:02:07Speaker 5: was ready for sex again, what.
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: This sain't what you mean? Hot is normal.
- 1:02:18Speaker 5: Everybody in our families know how spicy we are, and
- 1:02:21Speaker 5: this will run a joke. Your mama stayed with you
- 1:02:23Speaker 5: for a week after you gave birth to the second boy.
- 1:02:27Speaker 5: My husband showed out every night every night after the
- 1:02:31Speaker 5: boy was born. Finally, your mama said something. Asked you
- 1:02:38Speaker 5: if I enjoyed it as much as my husband did.
- 1:02:40Speaker 5: Because he is now jet clown, he don't care who
- 1:02:43Speaker 5: in the house. This ain't normal. We come back, I'll
- 1:02:46Speaker 5: tell you the rest.
- 1:02:47Speaker 9: I just.
- 1:02:49Speaker 7: All right, we'll have heart too. Steeven's response after the hour,
- 1:02:58Speaker 7: A ya yah yah, yeah. The subject is if he's up.
- 1:03:03Speaker 7: Everybody needs what you doing back into it. Right after this,
- 1:03:08Speaker 7: you're listening to the Streame Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:03:15Speaker 5: Folks, there are a lot of reasons to like Hyundai.
- 1:03:19Speaker 5: Hyundai's done a lot to support American consumers. I mean,
- 1:03:23Speaker 5: they announced their investment of twenty one billion dollars in
- 1:03:26Speaker 5: the United States over the next three years that will
- 1:03:29Speaker 5: expand manufacturing and create more jobs for Americans.
- 1:03:33Speaker 9: And they just announced that they will not be raising
- 1:03:35Speaker 9: MSRP through June second, no matter what. Call five six
- 1:03:39Speaker 9: two three one four four six zero three for more details.
- 1:03:44Speaker 7: All right, come on, Steve, let's recap today's Strawberry letter.
- 1:03:47Speaker 7: The subject is if He's up, everybody needs to be up.
- 1:03:51Speaker 5: This is about a letter about a man that has
- 1:03:53Speaker 5: to have intimacy with his wife after sixteen years of
- 1:03:56Speaker 5: marriage and two children.
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: They have to have some form of to.
- 1:04:00Speaker 5: Me see every single night of the week. I'm saying,
- 1:04:06Speaker 5: this ain't natural. Shirley said, go and enjoy your life.
- 1:04:12Speaker 5: How you gonna enjoy your night every night? It's not
- 1:04:18Speaker 5: natural for who? It ain't natural for most people. This
- 1:04:23Speaker 5: is abnormal. And you what you're gonna do is quit
- 1:04:26Speaker 5: acting like it is natural.
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: That's what it is. That's what you gonna do.
- 1:04:31Speaker 5: You gonna stop acting like it's natural because it ain't.
- 1:04:39Speaker 5: But she is complaining, you just don't hear it.
- 1:04:45Speaker 7: The line the line that says, it's the great his
- 1:04:49Speaker 7: reaction is the greatest gift. He overdoes it every time.
- 1:04:53Speaker 7: His reactions are better than any gift he could ever
- 1:04:55Speaker 7: give me.
- 1:04:56Speaker 5: No, no, no no. The line says I stopped fighting
- 1:05:01Speaker 5: it when I met him.
- 1:05:04Speaker 4: Night.
- 1:05:05Speaker 7: They're into it.
- 1:05:06Speaker 5: And she stopped fighting it because it's how they stay close.
- 1:05:11Speaker 5: My husband showed out every night. He don't keep quiet.
- 1:05:16Speaker 5: Sometime he wake our sons up. My mama stayed with
- 1:05:20Speaker 5: me for a week and she couldn't believe it. She
- 1:05:22Speaker 5: asked me one day, do you just enjoy it as
- 1:05:24Speaker 5: much as he did? She come talking about I couldn't
- 1:05:28Speaker 5: believe My mama asked me that I can't listen to
- 1:05:32Speaker 5: this shirt. I can't get my husband to be quiet
- 1:05:37Speaker 5: or stay in one room. There is some turmoil going
- 1:05:42Speaker 5: on in this house, all this holling. He wakes up
- 1:05:47Speaker 5: our sons sometimes because he yells or moans the whole time.
- 1:05:54Speaker 5: Next line that says there's a problem. He overdes it
- 1:05:57Speaker 5: every time.
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: This is a cry for help. But she trying to
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: mask it his reactions.
- 1:06:05Speaker 5: Then she goes, his reactions are better than any gift
- 1:06:08Speaker 5: he could ever give. He always thanks me over and
- 1:06:13Speaker 5: over and calls me his queens. My two aunts think
- 1:06:18Speaker 5: it's unnatural, and I can't tell if they both hate
- 1:06:20Speaker 5: us or if there might be something really wrong with
- 1:06:23Speaker 5: my husband.
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: Both of them statements.
- 1:06:25Speaker 5: Is true, your aunts them big wide helpless is up.
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: They hate us, ain't.
- 1:06:32Speaker 5: Nobody moaned and hollered on them in a while, So
- 1:06:36Speaker 5: they hate me now. The next line says, or if
- 1:06:41Speaker 5: there might be something really wrong with my husband, it is,
- 1:06:45Speaker 5: it is.
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: But it's every day. Though.
- 1:06:51Speaker 5: Listen, surely, surely, too much water ain't good for you.
- 1:07:00Speaker 5: If you can too much of anything in excess, it
- 1:07:04Speaker 5: is not good for you.
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: You're taking away the specialty of it.
- 1:07:10Speaker 5: We already with the anniversary Mother's Day date night don't
- 1:07:15Speaker 5: mean nothing because it's every night. Now, let me explain
- 1:07:21Speaker 5: something to you that you don't know. Shuit in a
- 1:07:25Speaker 5: man's body, he's able to produce x amount of uh
- 1:07:34Speaker 5: monumental moments.
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: Let's just say that for me, Okay, all right?
- 1:07:37Speaker 5: A man can only produce x amount of monumental moments.
- 1:07:44Speaker 7: And now you're getting clinical.
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: Go ahead.
- 1:07:47Speaker 5: The gun is now gonna fire. After you've used up
- 1:07:55Speaker 5: your bullets, you have to reload. That's gonna come shortly
- 1:08:03Speaker 5: for him.
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: He forty eight.
- 1:08:05Speaker 5: Now I'm predicting at this pace, he got about another
- 1:08:09Speaker 5: three years of every day.
- 1:08:12Speaker 7: Okay, Well, then he'll slow down. Okay, that's fair.
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: He gonna slow way down. Should he gonna be out of.
- 1:08:21Speaker 5: Bullets, he gonna have to go get the manufacturing chamber
- 1:08:26Speaker 5: for the bullets repaired because he's done extreme damage to
- 1:08:32Speaker 5: hisself the same medicine. Shurely, that's something else. Now let
- 1:08:39Speaker 5: me tell you this, Okay, if there might be something
- 1:08:44Speaker 5: wrong with him, I wouldn't consider him a sex at it.
- 1:08:48Speaker 5: But there are times when he will not take no
- 1:08:53Speaker 5: for an answer. We are constantly talking about on this
- 1:08:58Speaker 5: show somebody not being able to take no for anance.
- 1:09:04Speaker 7: Uh huh.
- 1:09:04Speaker 5: We're gonna deal with one of these stories this week
- 1:09:07Speaker 5: in the news. I will assume now, if you that's
- 1:09:11Speaker 5: a problem. If he can't take no fore anance, because
- 1:09:15Speaker 5: it has to happen every night, according to this letter,
- 1:09:19Speaker 5: make a problem. I make them make up your mind.
- 1:09:23Speaker 7: Though no, I did say if it's uncomfortable or.
- 1:09:26Speaker 5: I told you it was a problem at the beginning
- 1:09:28Speaker 5: of this letter.
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: She now that took you to just now to admit.
- 1:09:33Speaker 7: No, that's not true. I said it in my response.
- 1:09:36Speaker 7: If it's uncomfortable for her.
- 1:09:38Speaker 5: As we get all, I wonder if I will be
- 1:09:42Speaker 5: able to keep up with him.
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: You ain't gonna have to wear about it. He ain't
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: gonna be able to keep up.
- 1:09:48Speaker 7: Listen, bost You're gonna be fure solved us.
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: In a minute, and you ain't gonna have to wear.
- 1:09:53Speaker 7: About it at Steve HARBFM on Instagram and Facebook, and
- 1:09:56Speaker 7: check out the Strawberry Letter podcast on the free iHeartRadio app.
- 1:10:00Speaker 7: We never sounded so good. You can download it today
- 1:10:02Speaker 7: coming up at forty six minutes after the hour Sports
- 1:10:05Speaker 7: Talk with Junior.
- 1:10:06Speaker 6: Right after this you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: Votes. There are a lot.
- 1:10:14Speaker 5: Of reasons to like hundreds to Day's done a lot
- 1:10:18Speaker 5: to support American consumers. I mean, they announced their investment
- 1:10:23Speaker 5: of twenty one billion dollars in the United States over
- 1:10:25Speaker 5: the next three years that will expand manufacturing and create
- 1:10:29Speaker 5: more jobs for Americas.
- 1:10:30Speaker 9: And they just announced that they will not be raising
- 1:10:33Speaker 9: MSRP through June second. No matter what, call five six
- 1:10:37Speaker 9: two three one four forty six zero three for more details.
- 1:10:42Speaker 7: All right, before we get to junior and sports talk,
- 1:10:44Speaker 7: we want to update you. Shannon Sharp and a sexual
- 1:10:46Speaker 7: assault accuser came close to a settlement this year of
- 1:10:50Speaker 7: ten million dollars. She walked away from the deal. She's
- 1:10:53Speaker 7: now suing Shannon for fifty million dollars. Shannon Sharp called
- 1:10:58Speaker 7: it a quote shakedown in a video addressing the allegations.
- 1:11:02Speaker 7: Sharp also warned that a home sex video will soon
- 1:11:05Speaker 7: be leaked. TMZ already has. They already got their hands
- 1:11:09Speaker 7: on a recording of Shannon Sharp threatening to threatening in
- 1:11:13Speaker 7: anger to quote choke the woman to death. Beyond the
- 1:11:16Speaker 7: sickening accusations, many have cringed at the fact that fifty
- 1:11:21Speaker 7: four year old Shannon Sharp got involved with this OnlyFans
- 1:11:24Speaker 7: influencer when she was just nineteen years old. Nineteen years old.
- 1:11:29Speaker 5: Guys, Oh, she's the only fans late influencer. Yeah those
- 1:11:34Speaker 5: when you say influenced, So what does that mean? But
- 1:11:38Speaker 5: she has an only fans page.
- 1:11:40Speaker 7: Yeah, she is an only fans page. Uh huh, Yeah,
- 1:11:44Speaker 7: she's only a page.
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: He works out of her house. Yes, that that's Mary. Now,
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: this story is.
- 1:11:53Speaker 7: Crazy.
- 1:11:55Speaker 9: And if you haven't done anything, why are we even
- 1:11:57Speaker 9: taught about money? Why are we even discussing to me dollars?
- 1:12:03Speaker 5: I would assume, Tommy, I would assume if you want
- 1:12:07Speaker 5: to settle, is to just keep the noise from from spreading,
- 1:12:11Speaker 5: to keep the snowball from rolling down the hill, because
- 1:12:16Speaker 5: as it rolls down the hill, as we can see,
- 1:12:18Speaker 5: it's only getting bigger.
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: And sometimes people who know.
- 1:12:22Speaker 5: That the snowball can get bigger and turn into an
- 1:12:25Speaker 5: avalanche would rather make a payment. We often think that
- 1:12:29Speaker 5: payments means as guilty.
- 1:12:31Speaker 7: It's guilty, guiuilt, guilt.
- 1:12:34Speaker 5: Yeah, it's not always that in every settlement. But when
- 1:12:38Speaker 5: it comes to this type of stuff right here, this
- 1:12:40Speaker 5: personal sexual stuff, it's an ugly slippery slope to be on.
- 1:12:46Speaker 7: Yeah you know, yeah.
- 1:12:47Speaker 5: So you paid a ten million to say one hundred.
- 1:12:50Speaker 5: I don't know all the facts yet, but.
- 1:12:53Speaker 7: Yeah, they're still developing.
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: See actually every day, yeah, every day, yeah, yeah.
- 1:13:00Speaker 7: With sports talk.
- 1:13:01Speaker 8: Okay, well, let me go ahead and give a shout
- 1:13:02Speaker 8: out to Detroit man, Detroit Pistons in the playoffs. Man,
- 1:13:06Speaker 8: he's tired to see if that one on one they
- 1:13:07Speaker 8: play tonight.
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: But here's what I love about Detroit.
- 1:13:10Speaker 8: They only selling tickets on Ticketmaster to people that live locally.
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: They're not selling it to New York Knicks fans.
- 1:13:18Speaker 8: They saying all our tickets off of people in Ohio,
- 1:13:21Speaker 8: Indiana and Ontario, Canada. Y'all not coming in here with
- 1:13:25Speaker 8: all this New York stuff in Detroit. They're not living
- 1:13:27Speaker 8: hat Come on, come on, come.
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: On, Detroit. We gonna look like a home team in Detroit.
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: That's why we got that fist hanging out there. Yes,
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: they secrets.
- 1:13:42Speaker 8: If you're a Nick fan, you're gonna have to get
- 1:13:44Speaker 8: your ticket scalped.
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: You're not getting them.
- 1:13:47Speaker 7: Get right, all right, Junior, thank you. Coming up at
- 1:13:50Speaker 7: the top of the hour, a young woman on social
- 1:13:52Speaker 7: media needs some advice. She says, I found my biological father.
- 1:13:56Speaker 7: We'll talk about it right after this.
- 1:13:58Speaker 6: You're listening to the Steve hard Morning Show.
- 1:14:04Speaker 7: All right, Steve, here we go, Melissa and Steve HARVEFM rights.
- 1:14:08Speaker 7: I recently did a DNA test out of curiosity and
- 1:14:11Speaker 7: learned that my dad isn't my biological father. I also
- 1:14:14Speaker 7: found my biological father living just a couple of hours away.
- 1:14:18Speaker 7: He had no idea.
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: I exist.
- 1:14:21Speaker 7: I love my dad and he loves me, and no
- 1:14:23Speaker 7: one will ever replace him. But I'm curious about this
- 1:14:26Speaker 7: stranger who shares my DNA. So here's our question. Should
- 1:14:30Speaker 7: I reach out to my biological father and deal with
- 1:14:33Speaker 7: all that might entail, or leave the past alone to
- 1:14:36Speaker 7: protect my relationship with a father who's always been there
- 1:14:39Speaker 7: for me.
- 1:14:41Speaker 5: I can't answer that question for you. Yeah, that's only
- 1:14:44Speaker 5: for you. That's only for you. I will never pretend
- 1:14:48Speaker 5: to know the answer to this. That's solely up to you.
- 1:14:51Speaker 5: I'm happy that you recognize that this man who has
- 1:14:54Speaker 5: been in your life has always been there. And yes,
- 1:14:57Speaker 5: person you know is dad, and he means to world
- 1:15:00Speaker 5: to you, and you might want to protect that.
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: I don't know. I don't know.
- 1:15:06Speaker 5: You know, if you really want to meet your biological father,
- 1:15:09Speaker 5: then that's on you. It doesn't have to destroy your
- 1:15:13Speaker 5: relationship with your dadd It just depends on how you
- 1:15:16Speaker 5: handle it.
- 1:15:17Speaker 7: Because a lot of the people who do find their
- 1:15:21Speaker 7: biological parents do want them. They just want to know
- 1:15:24Speaker 7: where they came from. She's not the only one you
- 1:15:26Speaker 7: know who feels that way. They want to know about their.
- 1:15:28Speaker 5: Past, absolutely, so but I can't answer that for you,
- 1:15:32Speaker 5: young lady. That's the decision solely up to you. I
- 1:15:35Speaker 5: have no experience at that.
- 1:15:37Speaker 7: Yeah, if somebody has.
- 1:15:38Speaker 5: Called to tell me that my daddy wasn't really my daddy,
- 1:15:41Speaker 5: I wouldn't believe in no way, because I learned. I know,
- 1:15:44Speaker 5: couldn't hear well s they called in my daddy right
- 1:15:47Speaker 5: or how I look just like we got the same
- 1:15:49Speaker 5: hand everything.
- 1:15:50Speaker 7: So you're my daddy.
- 1:15:55Speaker 1: You get a phone call, you're my daddy.
- 1:15:58Speaker 7: We have the same DNA.
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm I'm I'm gonna hang up right away. No,
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: that's nervous spots.
- 1:16:09Speaker 5: Child, that's gonna be the initial. You're gonna be lost
- 1:16:13Speaker 5: a little while longer.
- 1:16:16Speaker 7: I'm gonna hang out testing and found out that Jewish.
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: Can I share the things now? I'm gonna hang up
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: right away.
- 1:16:28Speaker 7: No, people told me I looked like you. All right,
- 1:16:35Speaker 7: we have time for another one, Steve. This is from
- 1:16:37Speaker 7: m J on Redded. M J says, my nemesis from
- 1:16:40Speaker 7: high school, who used to bully me on a daily basis,
- 1:16:43Speaker 7: recently reached out to me wanting to apologize for making
- 1:16:46Speaker 7: my teenage years miserable. He told me he was dealing
- 1:16:49Speaker 7: with abuse at home and taking it out on his classmates.
- 1:16:53Speaker 7: He seems genuinely remorseful and is asking for forgiveness, but
- 1:16:57Speaker 7: just seeing his name in my inbox brought back all
- 1:17:00Speaker 7: the anxiety and pain. It was a long time ago,
- 1:17:04Speaker 7: and part of me things forgiving him might help both
- 1:17:06Speaker 7: of us to move on. So here's a question. Should
- 1:17:09Speaker 7: I forgive and forget just because he's finally grown a
- 1:17:12Speaker 7: conscience and feels guilty?
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: Well his.
- 1:17:18Speaker 9: Look, got at it, Let's go. I've been waiting on him.
- 1:17:24Speaker 9: Oh got it?
- 1:17:25Speaker 5: Fail, body, Forgiveness is for you, not the other person.
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: I've had to come to terms with that in.
- 1:17:34Speaker 5: Real life this year, And as hard as it was
- 1:17:39Speaker 5: for me, and as hard as for me to say
- 1:17:41Speaker 5: this right here because I kind of want to go
- 1:17:44Speaker 5: with Tommy.
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: On this, but.
- 1:17:52Speaker 5: You know what, he might be miserable after what he's done,
- 1:17:56Speaker 5: and you know, and probably I don't know.
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: Man.
- 1:17:58Speaker 5: Look, I know a dude used to bully me named
- 1:18:05Speaker 5: Larry Singleton.
- 1:18:08Speaker 7: Not the name, yeah, yeah, yeah street.
- 1:18:14Speaker 5: You know he used to bully me. But I've ran
- 1:18:17Speaker 5: up into him since I was grown.
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: Really yeah, not.
- 1:18:22Speaker 5: Bully me now, because you know we're all that bully stuff. Fact,
- 1:18:25Speaker 5: but I had made it when I saw him.
- 1:18:29Speaker 16: Some thoughts for your forgiveness, Larry, Would you forgive him?
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: Yeah? I didn't.
- 1:18:36Speaker 5: How should I put this? I forgave him?
- 1:18:42Speaker 7: Can we happened twenty minutes after. We'll have more of
- 1:18:44Speaker 7: the signat show right after this. You're listening to the
- 1:18:47Speaker 7: Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, guys, So last year

- 1:20:18Speaker 5: It's just one monumental forgive me after the next.
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: I'm just really literally tired of it.

- 1:21:15Speaker 7: you rather eat everywhere for free? Travel?
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 1:21:21Speaker 7: Yeah, nice?
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: Okay, all right, I love it money for food?
- 1:21:30Speaker 12: All right?
- 1:21:31Speaker 7: Would you rather have sex only in the morning or
- 1:21:34Speaker 7: only on the floor?
- 1:21:37Speaker 5: Is all?
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: It is?
- 1:21:39Speaker 7: Fine? Location means nothing, nothing the floor you don't care.
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: I can't do.
- 1:21:46Speaker 9: That flow at earth in the morning, though I take
- 1:21:50Speaker 9: that take all day to get that there.
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: You take only time to get.
- 1:21:54Speaker 9: Up, get off the floor, floor.
- 1:22:01Speaker 7: All right, real clear about that one.
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: But yeah clear.
- 1:22:06Speaker 5: Well, let me tell you something I was some I
- 1:22:08Speaker 5: had dropped the phone under the bed in the middle
- 1:22:10Speaker 5: of the night, and I got a real tall bed
- 1:22:13Speaker 5: down at the ranch. And I finally got the phone
- 1:22:16Speaker 5: from under the bed, and I was trying to get up,
- 1:22:18Speaker 5: and I grabbed the covers. I told all the covers
- 1:22:21Speaker 5: off the bed, trying to pull myself up. When I
- 1:22:30Speaker 5: stood up in the middle of the night, it wasn't
- 1:22:32Speaker 5: a comforter a sheet, the fittish sheets was off the edges.
- 1:22:37Speaker 5: I was looking at the mattress. I was so mad
- 1:22:41Speaker 5: because now I gotta make this bed up to get
- 1:22:44Speaker 5: back in it. You know that last time I made
- 1:22:47Speaker 5: up a bed, so I just put the two corners
- 1:22:51Speaker 5: of the top on the finish sheet. I just put
- 1:22:53Speaker 5: the two corners on the top. Oh, I ain't even
- 1:22:57Speaker 5: put the rest of it on there. I just pulled
- 1:22:58Speaker 5: the covers of them, went on.
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: Back sleeping, got back there.
- 1:23:02Speaker 7: You're sleeping on half a finished cheese, all right, and
- 1:23:06Speaker 7: then the rest mattress all right. Uh. We talked about
- 1:23:11Speaker 7: Lebron just a little while ago or earlier in the show.
- 1:23:14Speaker 7: So here's a question. Would you rather play a one
- 1:23:17Speaker 7: on one basketball game with Draymond Green or Lebron? James Lebron?
- 1:23:27Speaker 5: I mean what you think it'd be better for you?
- 1:23:29Speaker 14: What?
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: No, I just don't want to fight fair. I ain't
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: he already beginning.
- 1:23:37Speaker 8: No, I don't care about losing.
- 1:23:41Speaker 9: It's the injuries of the highlights, the highlights, and I
- 1:23:44Speaker 9: played Lebron.
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: That's what I want. What highlights you think? Come on, well, dog,
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: you're not finished skull. I'm gonna get a couple of
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: buckets though.
- 1:23:59Speaker 5: Yes, bro bruh, you will not. You won't even get
- 1:24:03Speaker 5: a shot off. You're gonna eat every last one of
- 1:24:08Speaker 5: them basketball. He gonna break the coke machine in the
- 1:24:13Speaker 5: Hallway with one of your shots.
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: All now much is.
- 1:24:17Speaker 5: Gonna be Lebron's shots up against your head.
- 1:24:22Speaker 7: Some more Today's rounded would you rather? We'll close out
- 1:24:26Speaker 7: the show and have some closing remarks from the one
- 1:24:29Speaker 7: and only Steve Harvey right after this high lights.
- 1:24:34Speaker 6: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show, folks.
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: There are a lot of reasons to like dais.
- 1:24:44Speaker 5: Hyundai's done a lot to support American consolers. I mean,
- 1:24:48Speaker 5: they announced their investment of twenty one billion dollars in
- 1:24:52Speaker 5: the United States over the next three years that will
- 1:24:54Speaker 5: expand manufacturing and create more jobs for Americas.
- 1:24:58Speaker 9: And they just announced that will not be raising ms
- 1:25:01Speaker 9: RP through June second, no matter what. Call five six
- 1:25:05Speaker 9: two three one four four six to zero three for
- 1:25:08Speaker 9: more details.
- 1:25:10Speaker 7: All right, guys, here we are last break of the day,
- 1:25:13Speaker 7: and Steve, we have a phone call from you. It's
- 1:25:15Speaker 7: from Edward from the Bronx.
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: Okay, take a look is.
- 1:25:22Speaker 19: Edwards from the Bronx.
- 1:25:23Speaker 20: It's wanting to know can you continue to share more
- 1:25:26Speaker 20: of your your stories.
- 1:25:27Speaker 12: From the past.
- 1:25:28Speaker 7: My uncle and I were listening to the story you
- 1:25:31Speaker 7: shared about.
- 1:25:31Speaker 19: The roadies at the girl's house with a biggie wig
- 1:25:34Speaker 19: and he fell.
- 1:25:34Speaker 12: Up the chair laughing.
- 1:25:35Speaker 11: So I keep it going, keep it to tending this.
- 1:25:38Speaker 19: With those stories, man, wonderful man Fece, you are great storyteller.
- 1:25:45Speaker 7: Storyteller, Yeah, yeah, and you are.
- 1:25:48Speaker 1: That was one of a great moments.
- 1:25:49Speaker 5: So, yeah, we were talking about something earlier in our
- 1:25:58Speaker 5: opening remarks and you all said carry it over to closing.
- 1:26:01Speaker 5: Anybody remember that subject, Julia, Yeah, we were talking about Yeah,
- 1:26:08Speaker 5: I want to expound on that in my clothes remarks.
- 1:26:11Speaker 5: You know, we were talking about being around people who
- 1:26:16Speaker 5: won't take accountability for their actions and are always blaming
- 1:26:22Speaker 5: you or someone else for the predicament that they are in.
- 1:26:27Speaker 1: I want to remind us all of something.
- 1:26:31Speaker 5: We are, all, including those people, a sum total of
- 1:26:37Speaker 5: all the decisions we've made in our life. Now, with
- 1:26:42Speaker 5: that being said, that doesn't mean that you should allow
- 1:26:48Speaker 5: your mistakes to define who you are, because some mistakes
- 1:26:52Speaker 5: that you will make along the way are just that
- 1:26:55Speaker 5: along the way, and you will have to make these
- 1:26:59Speaker 5: mistakes because those mistakes are actually very very valuable learning lessons.
- 1:27:05Speaker 5: If you really want to be a little bit more
- 1:27:07Speaker 5: clear with it, all the mistakes you make, they're really
- 1:27:10Speaker 5: called experiences, and if you have enough experiences, you become experienced.
- 1:27:17Speaker 5: And if you become experienced, you become mature. So when
- 1:27:22Speaker 5: you make a mistake, it doesn't define who you are.
- 1:27:25Speaker 5: It will eventually help you become who you are to be.
- 1:27:29Speaker 5: The trouble you have is when you have a person
- 1:27:33Speaker 5: in your life who doesn't understand the accountability of their
- 1:27:36Speaker 5: decisions and are always pointing the finger. If this had
- 1:27:40Speaker 5: happen to me, if you hadn't did this to me,
- 1:27:42Speaker 5: I would have had that. I have a guy in
- 1:27:47Speaker 5: my life that still walks around spewing those types of
- 1:27:51Speaker 5: things about me. If Steve Harvey had gave me this chance,
- 1:27:55Speaker 5: I would have did this. I asked Steve Harvey for
- 1:27:58Speaker 5: that and he said no, And that would have been
- 1:28:01Speaker 5: all I needed at that particular time. Well, you know,
- 1:28:04Speaker 5: this person leaves out so much information about all the
- 1:28:09Speaker 5: times I did help him, about all the opportunities I
- 1:28:12Speaker 5: did provide for him. Now he never tells the part
- 1:28:16Speaker 5: about when I gave him a series of gigs and
- 1:28:19Speaker 5: he counseled the day before because he wanted to change
- 1:28:22Speaker 5: the money and the promoter wouldn't change it. So blah
- 1:28:25Speaker 5: blah blah, blah blah blah blah blah blah. When you
- 1:28:28Speaker 5: have people in your life like that, it's best to
- 1:28:31Speaker 5: just cut them loose because you're never going to quench
- 1:28:35Speaker 5: the thirst or satisfy the hunger they have for pointing
- 1:28:39Speaker 5: the finger at everybody other than themselves. And also, can
- 1:28:45Speaker 5: I remind you of something, You are not responsible for
- 1:28:49Speaker 5: any other person. Now, if you are a parent, that
- 1:28:53Speaker 5: comes with a certain sense of responsibility, but outside your children.
- 1:28:59Speaker 1: You really, you really really don't owe nobody else nothing.
- 1:29:07Speaker 5: And be careful of people who try to make you
- 1:29:10Speaker 5: responsible for them, because that's called manipulation, and that manipulation
- 1:29:17Speaker 5: is hard sometimes because they try to make you feel
- 1:29:21Speaker 5: guilty because you have something, and because you have it,
- 1:29:25Speaker 5: you ought to give it to them simply because they
- 1:29:28Speaker 5: ask for it.
- 1:29:30Speaker 1: How many times has.
- 1:29:31Speaker 5: A person asked you to borrow money and then followed
- 1:29:34Speaker 5: it up or preface it with the statement, I know
- 1:29:37Speaker 5: you got it. We've all heard that a man, I
- 1:29:43Speaker 5: know you got it. I need five hundred dollars, I
- 1:29:46Speaker 5: know you got it. Okay, Well, you know why they
- 1:29:50Speaker 5: know you got it because they've been watching you. They
- 1:29:54Speaker 5: been watching you work while they've been sitting over there
- 1:29:56Speaker 5: twitting their thumbs and folding they hands, and they've been
- 1:30:00Speaker 5: watching you toil. And they watched you get the new car,
- 1:30:04Speaker 5: save up for it. They watched you go from an
- 1:30:07Speaker 5: apartment into a condo. They watched you move from a
- 1:30:10Speaker 5: condo to a house, and their life sitting up there,
- 1:30:13Speaker 5: stagnant and still because of some.
- 1:30:15Speaker 1: Decisions they made.
- 1:30:16Speaker 5: And now all of a sudden they want to come
- 1:30:18Speaker 5: to you and get a piece because they know you
- 1:30:20Speaker 5: got it.
- 1:30:24Speaker 1: Well.
- 1:30:24Speaker 5: I know I got it too, but I didn't acquire
- 1:30:27Speaker 5: this to give it to you. I acquired this so
- 1:30:31Speaker 5: I could work and have a better life for myself
- 1:30:33Speaker 5: and my family. I'm working hard, man, so I could
- 1:30:37Speaker 5: take care of the ones that I am responsible for.
- 1:30:40Speaker 5: I work hard so that I become an example for
- 1:30:42Speaker 5: my sons to follow, my daughters to follow. I work
- 1:30:47Speaker 5: hard because at the end of the day, that's my
- 1:30:49Speaker 5: job as a provider. I was born in bread to
- 1:30:54Speaker 5: take care of my family. I watched my father do it.
- 1:31:00Speaker 5: Father was married for sixty four years. I watched a
- 1:31:04Speaker 5: man go to work when he was sick. I watched
- 1:31:08Speaker 5: a man I'm talking about man get up and go
- 1:31:12Speaker 5: down to jobs he didn't like or care for all
- 1:31:16Speaker 5: because he was responsible for his family and he molded
