- 1:55Speaker 2: Come come out, you think, I sure?
- 2:02Speaker 8: Well, Good morning everybody. You're listening to the voice, Come on,
- 2:07Speaker 8: digny now, one and only.
- 2:09Speaker 2: Steve Harvey got a radio show.
- 2:12Speaker 8: This one today I want to share with you is
- 2:17Speaker 8: for all of us, and here it is. There is
- 2:22Speaker 8: a solution to all of your problems and situations. If
- 2:30Speaker 8: you don't know what your next move is, that's a go.
- 2:34Speaker 8: I don't care what it is. If the relationship you're
- 2:38Speaker 8: in is all wrong and you don't know how to
- 2:41Speaker 8: get out of it, it doesn't matter. There is a
- 2:45Speaker 8: solution to all your problems and situations. That solution to
- 2:52Speaker 8: all your problems, that way to make all your dreams
- 2:55Speaker 8: come true. The way around a lot of this and
- 2:59Speaker 8: the weakness that you feel at times is prayer, prayer,
- 3:06Speaker 8: a connection with your creator. Could that be the thing
- 3:11Speaker 8: that's missing in your life? I'm just asking because whenever
- 3:16Speaker 8: I get a little bit off track, all I gotta
- 3:20Speaker 8: do is think, just a moment, Steve, have you been praying?
- 3:26Speaker 2: Man?
- 3:26Speaker 8: Have you been connecting with your creator? I know you're busy, man,
- 3:30Speaker 8: I know you're busy, and I know at the end
- 3:33Speaker 8: of the day you're done. You're done, and sometimes crawling
- 3:37Speaker 8: into bed is all you can manage to do.
- 3:40Speaker 2: I've said this, it happened to me last night. Again.
- 3:44Speaker 2: I did all of this. But when I look and
- 3:47Speaker 2: when I.
- 3:48Speaker 8: See things not moving, or I don't feel like things
- 3:52Speaker 8: are going in the right direction, or I have a
- 3:54Speaker 8: sense of being stagnant, all I got to do is
- 3:58Speaker 8: retrace it. Because because I'm working, there's no doubt about that.
- 4:02Speaker 8: I'm working. But I am I staying connected? Am I
- 4:07Speaker 8: using that weapon that's available to all of us?
- 4:10Speaker 2: And I pray? And the answer is usually no?
- 4:14Speaker 8: And so I know, Okay, okay, man, I'm getting off
- 4:16Speaker 8: track here, because see, let me tell you something, man.
- 4:19Speaker 8: The reason I constantly talk to God is because life
- 4:25Speaker 8: constantly changes. People who said they was going to do
- 4:28Speaker 8: something for you one day have changed their mind the next.
- 4:33Speaker 8: Somebody you thought was going to show up that day
- 4:36Speaker 8: called in late had an accident and couldn't make it.
- 4:39Speaker 2: That changes the parameters of everything.
- 4:42Speaker 8: The meeting you had set up that had to be
- 4:45Speaker 8: canceled because somebody was ill, that changes the parameters the
- 4:50Speaker 8: time frame of everything.
- 4:52Speaker 2: Because it's all connected.
- 4:54Speaker 8: So if I don't stay in constant prayer and stay
- 4:57Speaker 8: connected to the creative when this thing's happen, I've not
- 5:01Speaker 8: put in my bed, I've not talked to him about
- 5:04Speaker 8: how to handle it, or I'm just not aware of
- 5:07Speaker 8: it and what to do next. And the next thing
- 5:09Speaker 8: you know, it becomes a little stagnant. That has happened
- 5:12Speaker 8: to me. I gotta get back because prayer is the
- 5:17Speaker 8: solution to all of my problems and situations. I have
- 5:21Speaker 8: found that to be the case now. The only reason
- 5:24Speaker 8: I'm telling it to you is because I know if
- 5:27Speaker 8: you anything like me slash human being, then there are
- 5:31Speaker 8: times that you feel anxious. There's moments of desperation. You
- 5:36Speaker 8: have moments of uncertainty. There are times when you feel
- 5:40Speaker 8: like you've lost your way. All your purpose is a
- 5:45Speaker 8: little blurred. You're not sure anymore, or you don't know
- 5:49Speaker 8: what your next move is, or the relationship you in
- 5:52Speaker 8: or the relationships you dabbling in they're just all wrong
- 5:55Speaker 8: for you. Man, there is a solution to all your
- 6:01Speaker 8: problems and situations and his prayer. If you're suffering from
- 6:06Speaker 8: any of the things I just listened, or any other
- 6:08Speaker 8: thing you could think of, just.
- 6:10Speaker 2: Check your prayer. What has your prayer been lately? About it?
- 6:15Speaker 2: And this is for everybody.
- 6:18Speaker 8: I often find when I get that disconnection man, my
- 6:22Speaker 8: prayer and slipped off, I started feeling a little bit less,
- 6:27Speaker 8: so I got to jump back on it.
- 6:28Speaker 2: I'm just offering you a solution to.
- 6:30Speaker 8: It, man, and and and I'm giving you a solution
- 6:34Speaker 8: that works one thousand percent.
- 6:36Speaker 2: Fust show. See I ain't guessing at this one.
- 6:39Speaker 8: I'm telling you what has happened in my life, how
- 6:43Speaker 8: I did it, and it'll do for you. God is
- 6:46Speaker 8: filled with mercy and grace. He knows we all messed up.
- 6:51Speaker 8: He knows all of us have done some jacked up
- 6:53Speaker 8: things that don't nobody know about.
- 6:55Speaker 2: He knows all about our past. Man, He know all
- 6:59Speaker 2: of that.
- 7:00Speaker 8: But He is so full of grace and mercy, so
- 7:04Speaker 8: full of fifty to fifty chances. But you know the
- 7:07Speaker 8: thing about your life, thought, and the thing I had
- 7:10Speaker 8: to come to terms with And the reason I don't
- 7:12Speaker 8: let out of the reason I don't let my past
- 7:15Speaker 8: bury me, the reason I don't let my past define
- 7:18Speaker 8: me is because my past, I found out, were just
- 7:24Speaker 8: the ingredients needed for me to make this cake I'm
- 7:31Speaker 8: eating now. My past is just my ingredients. See, you
- 7:37Speaker 8: don't get rid of your past. They ain't they gone nowhere.
- 7:42Speaker 8: They are the ingredients. But when you put them with
- 7:44Speaker 8: something else, they look better, they taste better, it is better.
- 7:50Speaker 2: All of our pasts are just the ingredients that have
- 7:53Speaker 2: become the cake we eating now.
- 7:55Speaker 8: Now, if you don't like the way your cake taste,
- 7:57Speaker 8: then you gotta start putting some other ingredients in. Just
- 8:01Speaker 8: because you started off and your cake was messed up
- 8:04Speaker 8: don't mean you can't straighten out the flavor your cake.
- 8:07Speaker 8: You gotta put some different ingredients in there. So let's
- 8:11Speaker 8: say your cake is trifling tasted, it's bitter. Your cake
- 8:15Speaker 8: is bitter, Well, you got to dilute the bitterness. You
- 8:18Speaker 8: gotta put some more goodness in there. So you got
- 8:21Speaker 8: to put some goodness ingredients to take away the taste
- 8:25Speaker 8: of the bitterness. So you got to put some different
- 8:29Speaker 8: ingredients in there. You gotta start living your life a
- 8:31Speaker 8: little more kindly, a little more thoughtful, a little more sharing,
- 8:35Speaker 8: a little more caring.
- 8:36Speaker 2: And then after a while, man, those new.
- 8:39Speaker 8: Ingredients combined with that bitter it starts overshadowing the bitter
- 8:43Speaker 8: taste because the bitter taste is further behind you. Now
- 8:47Speaker 8: see something that happened to you twelve fifteen, thirty twenty five,
- 8:52Speaker 8: sixteen years ago. Ain't got to be the flavor that's
- 8:55Speaker 8: in your mouth now unless you let it be still ingredients. Man,
- 9:02Speaker 8: if you sink it away your cake taste and change
- 9:04Speaker 8: your ingredients, put something else in your cake mix so
- 9:09Speaker 8: you can get a better taste. If you don't like
- 9:13Speaker 8: the way your life tastes, pray. I've been here, my
- 9:16Speaker 8: mama saying for years. Boy, prayer change his things, don't
- 9:21Speaker 8: my mama said to me all the time, I said
- 9:23Speaker 8: to my TV artist is when they come see me
- 9:25Speaker 8: on the talk show, before I walk on stage, I
- 9:28Speaker 8: tell them these words, my mother said. I said, my
- 9:30Speaker 8: mother used to always tell me this, and it's bailed
- 9:33Speaker 8: me out, and it might do the same thing for you.
- 9:37Speaker 2: I said. Whatever I get in trouble, I hear her words.
- 9:39Speaker 2: She says, son, don't forget to pray.
- 9:43Speaker 8: Don't be ashamed to pray, and don't be too proud
- 9:46Speaker 8: to pray, because prayer, prayer changes things and you better
- 9:51Speaker 8: believe something it one hundred percent.
- 9:55Speaker 2: Show.
- 9:56Speaker 9: Do you're listening Morning show.
- 10:02Speaker 8: Ladies and gentlemen, let me have your attention please.

- 11:00Speaker 1: I tried to ju because I.
- 11:05Speaker 7: Don't know.
- 11:06Speaker 11: I told you yesterday it was where you're going and
- 11:09Speaker 11: you said them not to do those dangerous words. Is
- 11:11Speaker 11: where you're being? Okay, I'm working through that. Now here's
- 11:14Speaker 11: the new one. I ain't talking to nobody, says yesterday,
- 11:16Speaker 11: since we got a word, because she came in here
- 11:19Speaker 11: and she said we need to talk. I went straight
- 11:21Speaker 11: to the bathroom of clothing though I ain't been out
- 11:22Speaker 11: since den I just not talking to people. What do
- 11:26Speaker 11: what do we supposed to do with these words? We
- 11:29Speaker 11: need to talk that?
- 11:31Speaker 4: Have you had this problem?
- 11:33Speaker 8: Yes, junior. Now let me explain that to you. When
- 11:36Speaker 8: they come in and say we need to talk. The
- 11:39Speaker 8: first thing you need to do as a man, yes,
- 11:42Speaker 8: is start going through your files, run through your mental
- 11:46Speaker 8: roll intecks, look back quickly, quickly, do a three day,
- 11:53Speaker 8: full day assessment of your life and all decisions, conversations, pictures,
- 12:00Speaker 8: post anything you've taken so you can try to get
- 12:04Speaker 8: some type of mental handle. Oh what this talk fitn't
- 12:08Speaker 8: to be about?
- 12:11Speaker 4: You said three to four days?
- 12:13Speaker 8: Yeah, you gotta go three that's all you're gonna have
- 12:15Speaker 8: time for? Is we need to talk? If you got
- 12:19Speaker 8: to go back and make mental note of all photos, conversation, text,
- 12:25Speaker 8: post actions, whereabouts anything, phone calls.
- 12:32Speaker 2: She could have overheard anything.
- 12:35Speaker 4: Oh, I think that's where I'm at. I'm at phone call. Yeah, oh,
- 12:38Speaker 4: I see what it is.
- 12:39Speaker 11: See okay, okay, I got you big done because that
- 12:44Speaker 11: phone call.
- 12:46Speaker 4: When you say a phone call, I know exactly what
- 12:48Speaker 4: this is.
- 12:52Speaker 11: To now because I saw because I said I'm gonna
- 12:55Speaker 11: be the head of my house, with or without help,
- 12:58Speaker 11: I'm doing it.
- 12:59Speaker 4: And I shouldn't have said that.
- 13:00Speaker 2: That was on the phone.
- 13:01Speaker 4: She heard nestin though she want to talk now, I know,
- 13:04Speaker 4: I get it now.
- 13:06Speaker 2: That was three days ago.
- 13:07Speaker 11: You was not lying three to four days You've got
- 13:09Speaker 11: to go back.
- 13:10Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 13:11Speaker 8: They don't let they don't let more than that go
- 13:13Speaker 8: before they have to talk about it.
- 13:15Speaker 2: They can't. They can't hold it.
- 13:17Speaker 11: Okay, who would they? Y'all, y'all, y'all, it's time I John,
- 13:25Speaker 11: you and Neil. We know who we're talking about.
- 13:29Speaker 1: You're a trouble Junior.
- 13:30Speaker 4: Fine, fine, but he got me on the right tracks
- 13:33Speaker 4: on phone call. I didn't know whe how to count that?
- 13:35Speaker 1: All right? Coming up in thirty two minutes after the hour,
- 13:39Speaker 1: Junior is in for the nephew. He's gonna run that
- 13:41Speaker 1: prank back right after this. You're listening Morning show all right,
- 13:47Speaker 1: it is time to start your morning off with the
- 13:50Speaker 1: junior in for the nephew today with run that prank
- 13:53Speaker 1: back which you're got for it's junior.
- 13:55Speaker 11: Okay, well the nephew's not in today, but I do
- 13:57Speaker 11: have his running prank back in is parasite. Parasites is
- 14:02Speaker 11: what he's left us with. Come on, cats, here we go.
- 14:06Speaker 7: Hello, Hello, I'm trying to reach it, Brian, Brian, Yeah, yeah,
- 14:10Speaker 7: see hey Brian, this is doctor Jacob. How you doing today? Yeah, yeah,
- 14:14Speaker 7: I'm doing. Hey, I'm okay. Listen. You actually came in
- 14:19Speaker 7: uh maybe like two and a half weeks to go
- 14:20Speaker 7: here to my office and got a physical for life insurance.
- 14:24Speaker 7: Yeah yeah, yeah, right right yeah, everything okay, uh well yeah,
- 14:27Speaker 7: everything's gonna be pretty good. I'd like to see if
- 14:29Speaker 7: I can get you to come in and I you know,
- 14:33Speaker 7: everything's gonna be fine, but I got a small procedure
- 14:35Speaker 7: we'd like to do to actually, you know, right now,
- 14:38Speaker 7: you're not approved for your life insurance due until this
- 14:41Speaker 7: procedure is done, So if you don't mind coming in,
- 14:44Speaker 7: we'd like to get you taking care of When can
- 14:46Speaker 7: I schedule you to come in, like, uh maybe tomorrow
- 14:49Speaker 7: or the following day. Yeah, what kind of procedure is? Well, actually,
- 14:53Speaker 7: I don't know if you've heard of it. This is
- 14:54Speaker 7: an okay, astropy? Nah, I got something that's with that?
- 15:00Speaker 7: So some dude, you wasn't now and something doing my eyes?
- 15:04Speaker 7: What's that? No? No, has nothing to do with the eyes. No,
- 15:08Speaker 7: nothing at all. We found a little bit of parasites
- 15:11Speaker 7: in a particular area, and what we want to do
- 15:13Speaker 7: is make sure we just remove it completely and you'll
- 15:17Speaker 7: be fine. You'll get your life in feriance. You're and
- 15:19Speaker 7: your family will be great. So can I get you
- 15:21Speaker 7: to come in tomorrow? Maybe Thursday afternoon?
- 15:23Speaker 9: As?
- 15:23Speaker 7: Wow? What what area found? The parasite is actually one
- 15:28Speaker 7: of your testicles has some parasites. So what we're gonna
- 15:31Speaker 7: do is what's called a okostrom and ok is actually
- 15:35Speaker 7: removing that testicle completely and then everything will be fine.
- 15:38Speaker 7: It's all confined and we'll be able to remove it.
- 15:41Speaker 7: You'll be on your way, you'll get your life insurance
- 15:43Speaker 7: and everything will be fine. Okay, Like I said, can
- 15:45Speaker 7: I get can I? Can I get you to come
- 15:47Speaker 7: in tomorrow?
- 15:47Speaker 10: What you gonna.
- 15:51Speaker 7: Well, only one, only one and it's not gonna take long.
- 15:54Speaker 7: It's a thirty minute procedure, but we want to get
- 15:56Speaker 7: you to come in tomorrow or the next day. Can
- 15:58Speaker 7: we get you to go whether are you available? I
- 16:01Speaker 7: just want to say how I got to remove a
- 16:04Speaker 7: test sir. You know what, oftentimes when people come in
- 16:07Speaker 7: for life insurance, these type of things happen. So we
- 16:10Speaker 7: want to get you in and get it out as
- 16:11Speaker 7: quickly as possible. Nah. Man, I'm waiting for a routine physical. Man.
- 16:16Speaker 7: I wasn't supposed to be checking all this extra stuff.
- 16:18Speaker 7: Now I get a parent site in my testical. Y'all
- 16:20Speaker 7: don't remove a testicle.
- 16:21Speaker 10: Man, I'm twenty five.
- 16:23Speaker 7: Man, my wife, Man, I know kids, they were trying
- 16:25Speaker 7: to be I gotta move a testical. Let me say
- 16:27Speaker 7: this to you, Brian, You're gonna be completely fine. You'll
- 16:29Speaker 7: be able to create children. You'll be able to live
- 16:31Speaker 7: a normal life. You know, You'll just see. You won't
- 16:34Speaker 7: have all of them, but you'll have enough to create children.
- 16:37Speaker 7: You understand that. No, man, I can't No, I ain't gonna.
- 16:41Speaker 7: I can't come in for that now, sir. Is there
- 16:43Speaker 7: any way I can get you in tomorrow or tomorrow
- 16:46Speaker 7: afternoon or the Thursday afternoon? So we can kind of
- 16:49Speaker 7: get this thing taken care of and we can get
- 16:50Speaker 7: you moving on your way, and that people can get
- 16:52Speaker 7: the life insurance papers together and so forth. Nah, man, Man,
- 16:56Speaker 7: we ain't rescheduled now, I need to second a third
- 16:58Speaker 7: opinion on that. Man. He talking about taking away one
- 17:01Speaker 7: of my We ain't rescheduling nothing, man, I'm gonnaed to
- 17:03Speaker 7: see another doctor. Man, it's some sir. Sir, you can
- 17:06Speaker 7: go around the entire city and see several doctors. I'm
- 17:09Speaker 7: gonna tell you you're just gonna be wasting time. I'm
- 17:12Speaker 7: going to try to knock this thing out for you.
- 17:14Speaker 7: Knock it up. I ain't agreed to nothing. Listen, ye
- 17:18Speaker 7: have to join this to get money. Man, this is
- 17:19Speaker 7: scheduling nothing. Man, I need to take a third o
- 17:22Speaker 7: pity it's bloom Brian. I'll tell you if you come
- 17:25Speaker 7: in and let me get this thing taken care of,
- 17:27Speaker 7: you know, I'll have you back. You know, big ball
- 17:29Speaker 7: and shot calling before it's all over. You know what's big?
- 17:33Speaker 7: Big balling? Shot calling? Man? I told you, Man, I
- 17:35Speaker 7: ain't going in for none of that. Man, I'm supposed
- 17:37Speaker 7: to tell my wife. Man, this this ain't cool. Man.
- 17:39Speaker 7: I ain't going in for that. Man. I'm rescheduling. Man,
- 17:41Speaker 7: you rescheduled. What do you mean you're rescheduling? Sir? What
- 17:44Speaker 7: I'm getting I'm getting another opinion. I ain't going in
- 17:46Speaker 7: for that, okay, But I'm trying to make you a
- 17:48Speaker 7: big baller, shot caller. You know, man, what what is
- 17:51Speaker 7: your name? But you're supposed to be a doctor. Even
- 17:53Speaker 7: making little jokes, man, you're doing a little play on words.
- 17:55Speaker 7: But it ain't even funny. Man. I'm calling it insurance
- 17:57Speaker 7: far and telling they give me some doctor. Man, you
- 18:00Speaker 7: think he's funny. Hey, it ain't funny. Man. You're making
- 18:03Speaker 7: a little chase. Man, it ain't funny. Man. I'm getting
- 18:05Speaker 7: thinking of pain now. I have to getting all of
- 18:07Speaker 7: the work that we got, the blood work, the yearine work,
- 18:09Speaker 7: the complete physical. That's when we realize that you had
- 18:13Speaker 7: parasites in a particular area. So what we're trying, I'm not.
- 18:16Speaker 7: I don't mean I trying to make a light of
- 18:18Speaker 7: make humor in it, just to make you feel a
- 18:20Speaker 7: little bit more comfortable. I apologize, all right.
- 18:22Speaker 10: That ain't funning, man.
- 18:23Speaker 7: You want to want to lose it? No, that ain't funny.
- 18:26Speaker 12: Man.
- 18:26Speaker 7: If I had a situation that nurse would have told me.
- 18:28Speaker 7: Then he ain't telling me nothing. Man, have me thinking,
- 18:30Speaker 7: I'm all good now you telling me I got to
- 18:32Speaker 7: come in to remove a test on many. We had

- 36:23Speaker 1: coaches and even Phillies Eagles star Jalen Hurts. While driving
- 36:27Speaker 1: around Atlanta, Taylor posted his own racist rant video. Take
- 36:31Speaker 1: a listen.
- 36:32Speaker 14: Every restaurant looking in here's black. Every car beside him
- 36:36Speaker 14: is black. They can have Atlanta.
- 36:39Speaker 9: It used to be a fun place to come.
- 36:40Speaker 2: To up here.
- 36:41Speaker 9: They can have this place right here.
- 36:43Speaker 14: And stuff ain't no way, no way.
- 36:45Speaker 7: I just did it.
- 36:47Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 36:48Speaker 14: It was just a sign up there had Obama and
- 36:50Speaker 14: all them on there and stuff.
- 36:53Speaker 7: Man.
- 36:53Speaker 14: Yeah, that's all it's up here. That's all it's up here, man,
- 36:57Speaker 14: And stuff is just crap. Yeah yeah, you and involved
- 37:01Speaker 14: need to come up here and go hunting. Yeah that stuff. Man,
- 37:05Speaker 14: ain't none here though, Ain't nothing but blacks up here.
- 37:08Speaker 14: So all it is Atlanticton gone down.
- 37:11Speaker 4: Man, just gone.
- 37:13Speaker 2: Well that's interesting, see it.
- 37:15Speaker 8: That is how you handle mostly football players and coaches
- 37:18Speaker 8: of that nature. Well, let's see how your career gonna
- 37:21Speaker 8: go without the blacks, because that's what didn't happen right now? Yeah,
- 37:25Speaker 8: now you ain't gonna have much of a career. See
- 37:27Speaker 8: it's amazing, man, how they get together and make all
- 37:30Speaker 8: the money they can with blacks around blacks and alongside
- 37:36Speaker 8: blacks and by using black. But in their heart they
- 37:39Speaker 8: feel differently. I'm glad he posted. Thank you man, appreciate it.
- 37:43Speaker 8: Now your ass is out. Yeah, ain't never but black.
- 37:47Speaker 8: See the hunting comment, that's them. That's what a racist does.
- 37:52Speaker 8: But you kind of see how it feels. See, people
- 37:57Speaker 8: are shocked when they have to be a man noughty
- 38:00Speaker 8: for just a little while. Imagine what that's like all
- 38:04Speaker 8: the time. See, I don't feel sorry for people when
- 38:06Speaker 8: they become annoughty for a little while because I be
- 38:08Speaker 8: looking upside their head. I know they I know they
- 38:11Speaker 8: booty type.
- 38:12Speaker 7: I know it.
- 38:13Speaker 8: I know I know they don't peers at needle, I
- 38:16Speaker 8: know they looking around. I know there's an element of uncertainty,
- 38:20Speaker 8: because that's we live like that every day, every single day.
- 38:26Speaker 8: We're the only one in the department, the only one
- 38:28Speaker 8: in the office, the only one on the elevator, the
- 38:31Speaker 8: only one at the restaurant, the only one in the office.
- 38:34Speaker 8: We've been there for so long. Welcome to the club.
- 38:39Speaker 8: I hope your ass continues to feel this unnerving discomfort.
- 38:44Speaker 2: It's really a joy to hear man.
- 38:47Speaker 8: It's just that, well, it's sometimes it's just white, you know,
- 38:53Speaker 8: and you know, and and when we'd have been all
- 38:55Speaker 8: right with it, we didn't have to deal with it.
- 38:58Speaker 8: Welcome to our world. Congratulations. I wish it was mold black.
- 39:02Speaker 8: Matter of fact, I have some suggestions each side of
- 39:04Speaker 8: cleat Detroit, got hawg, I've got some Chicago's house. I've
- 39:11Speaker 8: got some suggestions DC.
- 39:15Speaker 1: You've been coming up at thirty four minutes after the city. Well,
- 39:20Speaker 1: check Steve's voicemail eight seven seven twenty nine, Steve. Right
- 39:23Speaker 1: after this, you're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. It is
- 39:29Speaker 1: time now to check Steve's voicemail. If you would like
- 39:31Speaker 1: to leave a message for Steve, call us eight seven
- 39:34Speaker 1: seven twenty nine Steve. Eight seven seven twenty nine. Steve,
- 39:37Speaker 1: you might just hear your call on the air. Steve,
- 39:40Speaker 1: Are you ready? This is a relationship question from Kendra
- 39:43Speaker 1: from Los Angeles. She's twenty four years old.
- 39:46Speaker 7: Hi, Steve, my name is Kendra.
- 39:48Speaker 16: I'm twenty four years old and I'm calling from Los Angeles, California.
- 39:52Speaker 16: I've been listening to your podcast pretty recently, but I've
- 39:55Speaker 16: watched all of your shows and I'm a big fan.
- 39:58Speaker 16: But I have a question and I'm that you can
- 40:00Speaker 16: give me some advice. So I'm newly merry. I've been
- 40:03Speaker 16: married for two years and I'm twenty four years old.
- 40:06Speaker 1: Me and my husband.
- 40:07Speaker 16: One of the only thing that we have that's really
- 40:11Speaker 16: putting a strain on our marriage so recently is our communication.
- 40:16Speaker 16: He comes to a military background, so his way of
- 40:19Speaker 16: communicating is problem solution. But I'm very emotional sometimes and
- 40:26Speaker 16: I feel as if sometimes when we communicate, it's a
- 40:29Speaker 16: very cold conversation and it ends very quick. There's no affection,
- 40:35Speaker 16: there's no empathy sometimes and it really does get to me.
- 40:39Speaker 16: So what would you recommend we do and how do
- 40:42Speaker 16: we communicate better on so that way we can end
- 40:45Speaker 16: at discussions where we're both happy. I hope you can
- 40:49Speaker 16: help see Thank you so much.
- 40:50Speaker 8: Fight Well, I've heard this question many times from all
- 40:55Speaker 8: different age groups, so it's not new. First of all,
- 40:59Speaker 8: let me help you understand something about men. We are
- 41:02Speaker 8: problems solution based people. Whenever our girl woman person, we
- 41:08Speaker 8: in love with a love and relationship. What comes to
- 41:11Speaker 8: us with a problem, we don't want to hear it.
- 41:13Speaker 8: We want to solve as soon as we get the
- 41:16Speaker 8: nuts and bolts of what it is. Our first inclination
- 41:20Speaker 8: as men is to offer the fix. The fix can
- 41:24Speaker 8: be rather cut and dry at times, and it leaves
- 41:28Speaker 8: a woman feeling like you're not listening to me, or
- 41:30Speaker 8: you're not understanding the emotional side of it. Well, we
- 41:33Speaker 8: don't really know how to do that part of it,
- 41:36Speaker 8: to be honest with you, because that's not the makeup
- 41:39Speaker 8: of man his DNA. We are problem solution driven people.
- 41:43Speaker 8: So the first thing we're gonna do is offer the fix.
- 41:47Speaker 8: And then I've been guilty of it. I can't thousands
- 41:50Speaker 8: of times. But what I'm saying to you, Steve, is this, Okay,
- 41:54Speaker 8: I heard that, but this is what you need to
- 41:57Speaker 8: do to stop that. But no, it's hard for us
- 42:00Speaker 8: to address the emotional side of it. Has not to
- 42:04Speaker 8: do with his military background. I don't care if he's
- 42:07Speaker 8: a comedian and actor. He work on the back of
- 42:10Speaker 8: the waste management team. He at the post office, he's
- 42:14Speaker 8: the supervisor. He a politician. That's to make basic makeup
- 42:18Speaker 8: of men here's the solution. As a woman, what you
- 42:22Speaker 8: can do when you sit down, say hey, listen, I'm
- 42:25Speaker 8: going to tell you something, and all I want you
- 42:28Speaker 8: to do is hear me out. I don't want you
- 42:30Speaker 8: to fix it for me. I just want you to
- 42:33Speaker 8: hear me out, and then after you hear me out,
- 42:37Speaker 8: tell me what you think about what I've said. But
- 42:40Speaker 8: I want you to tell me what I said. But
- 42:41Speaker 8: I don't want you to fix it. Okay, And you
- 42:43Speaker 8: can start there because most guys we don't understand what
- 42:47Speaker 8: you mean by the emotional thing. We're trying to give
- 42:50Speaker 8: a solution to it because we think and that's the
- 42:52Speaker 8: best way to help, and it's often not. And then
- 42:56Speaker 8: just sit your man down and say, hey, listen, I'm
- 42:58Speaker 8: really struggling because need somebody to listen to me because
- 43:01Speaker 8: I have I want to vent this out because women
- 43:04Speaker 8: discuss things differently than men, and you just have to
- 43:08Speaker 8: understand that it takes a long time for a man
- 43:10Speaker 8: to come to that. He's not a bad guy, he's
- 43:14Speaker 8: just a guy. Try to talk to him from that standpoint.
- 43:18Speaker 1: That's good because she thought it was his profession too.
- 43:21Speaker 8: No, no, no, no, no, I don't give a damn
- 43:22Speaker 8: what you do you really tell you radio show hosts
- 43:27Speaker 8: all that's same.
- 43:31Speaker 2: Engineers. I don't care.
- 43:33Speaker 8: You come to your man with a problem. He gonna
- 43:35Speaker 8: try to fix it. He he don't want to hit
- 43:38Speaker 8: all that old how you felt about it. Let's fix
- 43:41Speaker 8: it and then move on. And that's not how women
- 43:44Speaker 8: want to communicate. Women want to know that if I
- 43:49Speaker 8: could suggest something to him, you know, the number one
- 43:52Speaker 8: suggestion I sell to men, number one thing you got
- 43:54Speaker 8: to do with your woman, show concern, that's the key show.
- 44:01Speaker 2: Yeah he did, Yes, if.
- 44:04Speaker 4: It works, sound like it sounded like a.
- 44:06Speaker 1: Lot like we need to talk. All right, Thank you
- 44:12Speaker 1: Kendrick for your call. We're glad to get that in
- 44:14Speaker 1: and hope that help for sure. Coming up next, it
- 44:17Speaker 1: is Today's Prank Phone Call with Junior in for the nephew.
- 44:20Speaker 1: Right after this, You're listening.
- 44:24Speaker 9: Morning show.
- 44:26Speaker 1: Coming up at the top of the hour, right about
- 44:28Speaker 1: four minutes after, it's my Strawberry letter for today and
- 44:31Speaker 1: the subject is slide to the left, slide to the right,
- 44:35Speaker 1: and back it up. We'll get into that. Let you
- 44:39Speaker 1: know what that's all about. Everybody clappy, slide right, Wait
- 44:47Speaker 1: two years not about the chown slide. I can tell
- 44:49Speaker 1: you that right now, keep a shower. What is it
- 44:53Speaker 1: about any of that?
- 44:54Speaker 2: Left?
- 44:56Speaker 1: No line dances, marlt.
- 45:01Speaker 9: None of that.
- 45:02Speaker 1: We'll get into it in just a bit, because right
- 45:04Speaker 1: now it is time for Junior to do today's prank
- 45:08Speaker 1: phone call the nephew's out, Juniors in what you got? Junior?
- 45:11Speaker 2: Where is nephew?
- 45:12Speaker 4: Do y'all know anybody?
- 45:13Speaker 1: I haven't heard.
- 45:15Speaker 2: I ain't heard the damn thing. So so so he
- 45:18Speaker 2: could take off.
- 45:18Speaker 4: Don't have to call nobody.
- 45:20Speaker 8: Oh, Junior, Junior, you can ask sure. This's been going
- 45:22Speaker 8: on since two thousand and three.
- 45:24Speaker 2: Oh yeah, two thousand.
- 45:26Speaker 1: Yeah, that's over. That's almost over twenty years.
- 45:29Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 45:30Speaker 2: Yeah, he just reverts back.
- 45:32Speaker 17: You know.
- 45:33Speaker 8: It's kind of like that little amieble, you know, and
- 45:37Speaker 8: amieba is a small single cell. Yeah yeah, whatever we
- 45:42Speaker 8: thought learned it was in school, so science protan or something.
- 45:46Speaker 2: I won't know what it is, but that's what he is.
- 45:49Speaker 2: It's just a very it's a single cell.
- 45:51Speaker 1: Something you don't even know.
- 45:52Speaker 2: Well, I know that's what he is.
- 45:54Speaker 8: I know what under the microscope is that little thing
- 45:56Speaker 8: that wogal by itself and it's.
- 45:58Speaker 2: Just one of them's single sell.
- 46:01Speaker 1: He just kept his job because he's your nephew.
- 46:04Speaker 8: But they got a whole lot doing it, because he'd
- 46:06Speaker 8: have been fired by anybody else. But but it's so
- 46:10Speaker 8: simple minded.
- 46:12Speaker 2: You have to let it go.
- 46:13Speaker 8: And you have to understand that he's brilliant. The young
- 46:16Speaker 8: man is a great actor. He's got a movie grip.
- 46:19Speaker 8: But see once again, didn't the movie just come out
- 46:21Speaker 8: this weekend?
- 46:22Speaker 1: And he got it?
- 46:24Speaker 8: And he's still taping Ready to Love? Yeah, and he gone,
- 46:27Speaker 8: and ain't he supposed to be on the radio. Yes,
- 46:31Speaker 8: that's all.
- 46:32Speaker 2: That's too much.
- 46:34Speaker 8: It just becomes it's too much, and and his little
- 46:38Speaker 8: brain shut down. He like he like putting your baby.
- 46:41Speaker 8: He like trapping the baby in the car seat. He
- 46:44Speaker 8: in the back seat, just going in the car seat
- 46:50Speaker 8: because it's too much. See what puts the baby's sleep
- 46:53Speaker 8: in the cars when they're looking out the window.
- 46:55Speaker 2: And all that stuff going by that they don't have
- 46:58Speaker 2: a name for ye too much.
- 47:01Speaker 8: You know, telephone pole went by, check cash and sign
- 47:05Speaker 8: went by, literally.
- 47:06Speaker 2: Store signs.
- 47:09Speaker 8: Over the church, high rise building light and all that
- 47:14Speaker 8: keep going by real fast, and.
- 47:16Speaker 2: They ain't got no name for it.
- 47:17Speaker 8: So there's too much and they just God just protect them.
- 47:20Speaker 2: So they don't trip. I don't don't go to sleep little.
- 47:27Speaker 8: That's why your baby go to sleep in the car,
- 47:28Speaker 8: because there's too much information.
- 47:30Speaker 2: Pouring into that little single cell brain they got. And
- 47:33Speaker 2: that's what Tommy is. Tommy isn't a meeb p year old.
- 47:42Speaker 2: We're here to pray for the suy Auntie de k

- 54:13Speaker 1: to the right, and back it up. You ready to
- 54:17Speaker 1: back it up?
- 54:17Speaker 14: All right?
- 54:18Speaker 1: Everybody clap you on you not about a line dance, Carla,
- 54:23Speaker 1: I promise you and listen. We might need a disclaimer
- 54:29Speaker 1: on this letter, so if you have small children in
- 54:31Speaker 1: the car with you, you don't want to hear this, okay,
- 54:35Speaker 1: Dear Stephen, Shirley, I'm fifty seven years old, and the
- 54:38Speaker 1: man that I have been dating is a sex fiend.
- 54:41Speaker 1: He's slightly younger than I am, so I let him
- 54:44Speaker 1: think he's in control. I've given him my credit card
- 54:47Speaker 1: so he can pay our bill at restaurants, so he
- 54:49Speaker 1: will feel like he's running things. I am all about
- 54:53Speaker 1: building up the black man, but I'm not into making
- 54:55Speaker 1: a man think he's putting it down when he's really not.
- 54:59Speaker 1: He's truly not a good lover, and since I'm falling
- 55:02Speaker 1: for him, I want to be patient and work with him.
- 55:05Speaker 1: He's asked me to do some things too, and I
- 55:08Speaker 1: thought about doing it to please him. Let me give
- 55:12Speaker 1: you the story of how we met. I was working
- 55:15Speaker 1: a summer jam concert last year to help out a friend.
- 55:18Speaker 1: My boyfriend came up to me and asked if I
- 55:21Speaker 1: had a lighter. Turned out that he had weed, so
- 55:25Speaker 1: we ducked behind the fence to smoke. Then the DJ
- 55:28Speaker 1: played the Cha Cha Slide and he wanted to go dance.
- 55:32Speaker 1: I barely knew how to do the dance, so he
- 55:35Speaker 1: put his hands on my hips so I could keep up.
- 55:38Speaker 1: He told me to slide to the left, slide to
- 55:40Speaker 1: the right, and I followed his lead. That became our joke,
- 55:44Speaker 1: and he uses it whenever we had sex. But a
- 55:48Speaker 1: week ago he jokingly said it during sex and then added, now,
- 55:52Speaker 1: back it up, so I scooted back. He laughed and
- 55:56Speaker 1: said back it up again, and I realized he meant
- 55:59Speaker 1: an entirely different thing. I'm not into that kind of mess,
- 56:04Speaker 1: and I let him know it. He said it was cool,
- 56:06Speaker 1: and I thought we moved past that, but he hasn't.
- 56:10Speaker 1: He said he can guarantee our intimacy will be better
- 56:13Speaker 1: if I try that. I'm not desperate for a man,
- 56:16Speaker 1: but I must admit that I kind of like him,
- 56:18Speaker 1: and I'm kind of curious about backing it up. Can
- 56:21Speaker 1: you offer me any advice? Should I give in and
- 56:24Speaker 1: try something new with him?
- 56:29Speaker 7: What?
- 56:29Speaker 1: No, No, I can't and don't do that, Okay. You
- 56:36Speaker 1: should never do anything that you're not comfortable with sexually.
- 56:40Speaker 1: You should never do that, and guess what it is. Okay.
- 56:43Speaker 1: If you don't, it's okay. You'll only be doing it
- 56:47Speaker 1: to please him, as you stated in your letter, And
- 56:49Speaker 1: that's just not good enough because you already said you're
- 56:53Speaker 1: not into that mess. Only do things if you want
- 56:56Speaker 1: to because you feel if you feel any kind of pressure.
- 56:59Speaker 1: For I'm your partner. That means you don't want to
- 57:02Speaker 1: do it and he's pressuring you, so don't do that.
- 57:04Speaker 1: But here's my question, though, why would you want to
- 57:07Speaker 1: waste your time trying something new when you already said
- 57:10Speaker 1: he can't get the old right? Remember your own words quote,
- 57:14Speaker 1: he's truly not a good lover. You said that. It
- 57:17Speaker 1: sounds like to me, you're doing all the work in
- 57:19Speaker 1: this relationship. You're paying for dinners by slipping him your
- 57:23Speaker 1: credit card. You're making him feel like he's in control,
- 57:26Speaker 1: so he thinks he's running things. It's all him, him, him.
- 57:31Speaker 9: What is he doing for you?
- 57:33Speaker 1: I mean other than trying to get you to try
- 57:35Speaker 1: something you're not into. And now you say you're falling
- 57:39Speaker 1: for him, but what are you falling for? You're falling
- 57:42Speaker 1: for what?
- 57:43Speaker 7: I mean?
- 57:43Speaker 1: What is he doing? I don't see that he's not
- 57:46Speaker 1: a good lover. You pay for everything, you build him up.
- 57:48Speaker 1: What are you getting out of this? Nothing? You're not
- 57:51Speaker 1: getting anything. According to your letter. I think you need
- 57:54Speaker 1: to chill. I think you've invested way too much in
- 57:57Speaker 1: this relationship with zero return.
- 58:00Speaker 8: Cheve Well, well, well, I got a answer for this,
- 58:05Speaker 8: and you don't have to worry about this.
- 58:06Speaker 2: This said, you don't have to get the kids out
- 58:07Speaker 2: of ruin for this.
- 58:08Speaker 8: This is gonna be nothing graphic because we ain't even
- 58:10Speaker 8: gonna get there, because it ain't gonna be necessary. Because
- 58:13Speaker 8: I'm gonna break this down for you, real simple. Slide
- 58:17Speaker 8: to the left, slide to the right.
- 58:18Speaker 2: Now back it up. All right. Now, you're fifty seven
- 58:22Speaker 2: years old. That's what the letter say.
- 58:24Speaker 8: Now you've been dating a man that's a sex feen.
- 58:27Speaker 8: He's slightly younger, so I'm gonna sume he's between forty
- 58:32Speaker 8: seven and fifty two. I'm gonna assume that's slightly younger. Okay,
- 58:38Speaker 8: we can go as low as forty if you want
- 58:41Speaker 8: to go that far. Either way, this is gonna fit perfectly.
- 58:45Speaker 8: He's slightly younger, so I let him think he's in control.
- 58:50Speaker 8: This is an important part of this letter. So now,
- 58:53Speaker 8: how do you have to let him think he's in control.
- 58:55Speaker 8: I've given him my credit card so he can pay
- 58:58Speaker 8: our bill at restaurant, so he will feel like he's
- 59:01Speaker 8: running things. I'm all about building up the black man. Okay,
- 59:06Speaker 8: So he broke, Okay, let's just get to it. He
- 59:09Speaker 8: broke you dating a man that's broke. You got to
- 59:13Speaker 8: give him your credit card when y'all go to restaurant
- 59:16Speaker 8: so he can pay for a damn play the food
- 59:19Speaker 8: so he can feel like he a man, like he
- 59:21Speaker 8: in control. Really, at fifty, he can't buy you nothing
- 59:27Speaker 8: to eat. Okay, So you're dating a man broke. But
- 59:32Speaker 8: I'm not into making a man thinking he's putting it
- 59:35Speaker 8: down when he's really not. He's truly not a good lover.
- 59:38Speaker 8: Wait a minute, let me get this right. So he broke,
- 59:42Speaker 8: she said, and he ain't a good lover. Oo lords,
- 59:49Speaker 8: and now you in here, you don't want to tell
- 59:52Speaker 8: him he putting it down because he really ain't putting
- 59:55Speaker 8: it down. But you all into building up the black man,
- 59:59Speaker 8: so you dating it it broke?
- 1:00:01Speaker 10: Non love?
- 1:00:02Speaker 2: Making this what.
- 1:00:06Speaker 7: Right?
- 1:00:07Speaker 2: And then laid on In the letter you say you
- 1:00:09Speaker 2: falling for what you fall in? Fall Hell?
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: Hang on, Steve, hang on, Dang. Part two of your
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: response coming up in twenty three minutes after the hour
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: Today's Strawberry letter subject. Slide to the left, slide to
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: the right, and back it up. We'll be back right
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: after this. You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show, All right,
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: Come on, Steve, let's recap today's strawberry letter. The subject
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: is slide to the left, slide to the right, and
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: back it up.
- 1:00:40Speaker 8: Now this is cool, but this letter is way off.
- 1:00:44Speaker 8: We don't need to disclaim, but we're not even gonna
- 1:00:46Speaker 8: get to that part. You're fifty seven. You're dating a
- 1:00:48Speaker 8: slightly young man. I won't say anywhere from forty to
- 1:00:53Speaker 8: fifty two. I'm gonna say he's in that range now
- 1:00:58Speaker 8: because he's a sex fiend, he's slightly younger, and so
- 1:01:04Speaker 8: I let him think he's in control. So now you
- 1:01:08Speaker 8: got to give him your credit card so he can
- 1:01:10Speaker 8: pay our bill at restaurants, so he'll feel like he's
- 1:01:13Speaker 8: running things.
- 1:01:15Speaker 2: I'm all about building up the black man.
- 1:01:18Speaker 14: What.
- 1:01:19Speaker 8: No, you're not building him up. He's tearing you down.
- 1:01:24Speaker 8: He can't pay for a play of food. But the
- 1:01:26Speaker 8: sex fiend over here working up all these appetites. Sex
- 1:01:29Speaker 8: fiend can't pay for no food. Naw, you all into that,
- 1:01:33Speaker 8: But I am not into making a man think he's
- 1:01:35Speaker 8: putting it down and he's really not. He's truly not
- 1:01:38Speaker 8: a good lover. And since I'm falling for him, I
- 1:01:41Speaker 8: want to be patient and work with him. What are
- 1:01:43Speaker 8: you falling fall? He can't buy no food and he
- 1:01:48Speaker 8: don't make love good. What are you falling fall? He
- 1:01:54Speaker 8: asked me to do some things too, and I thought
- 1:01:56Speaker 8: about doing it.
- 1:01:56Speaker 2: To please him. What else you got to do? All
- 1:02:00Speaker 2: the food you're laying acting like it's good and it ain't.
- 1:02:03Speaker 8: Now what he wants you to do? Let me give
- 1:02:06Speaker 8: you the story how we met. I was working at
- 1:02:08Speaker 8: a Summer Jam concert last year.
- 1:02:10Speaker 2: Okay, that's old. They don't even had him.
- 1:02:12Speaker 4: No more summer jams.
- 1:02:14Speaker 8: Say if you at the summer Jam they still got them. Yeah,
- 1:02:18Speaker 8: I know, but that's what I'm saying. No, that's all
- 1:02:20Speaker 8: the old ass all when they're calling him summer jams all,
- 1:02:27Speaker 8: this is fifty and up.
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: Jane, damn all, damn.
- 1:02:36Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:02:36Speaker 2: The headliner this summer Jam was the Manhattan.
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: Kids say, get back to the letter.
- 1:02:46Speaker 2: Okay, crazy, My boyfriend came up to me and asked
- 1:02:50Speaker 2: me if I had a light.
- 1:02:51Speaker 8: It turned out he has some weed, y'all. Duck behind
- 1:02:54Speaker 8: the fence to smoke. Another old lass move. Young ass
- 1:02:57Speaker 8: people smoke in the open. They at the damn show,
- 1:03:01Speaker 8: They in the building smoking weed. That's another old lass move.
- 1:03:06Speaker 8: You duck behind the fence to smoke some weed. It's
- 1:03:10Speaker 8: legal damn near everywhere. What is y'all ducking behind the fist?
- 1:03:14Speaker 2: Folk?
- 1:03:14Speaker 8: That's cause you old young ass people smoke weed in
- 1:03:18Speaker 8: the quick trip at the gas station, young people smoking weed.
- 1:03:24Speaker 8: Then the DJ played the tar chart slide.
- 1:03:27Speaker 2: But I tell you.
- 1:03:30Speaker 8: That, damn oh lord, that's something jam I badly knew
- 1:03:34Speaker 8: how to do the dance. Now you old and square?
- 1:03:37Speaker 8: Who the hell don't know how to do the slide?
- 1:03:41Speaker 8: Who don't know how to slide to the night slide?
- 1:03:45Speaker 2: Po don't know that this election slide? What is your stupid?
- 1:03:52Speaker 2: He telling you?
- 1:03:53Speaker 8: Slide to the left, fly to the right, two steps,
- 1:03:57Speaker 8: He tears Chris craft by, Now you all stupid and square?
- 1:04:05Speaker 2: Man man. I followed his lead.
- 1:04:09Speaker 8: That became our joke and uses it whenever we have sex.
- 1:04:12Speaker 8: But a week ago, he jokely said doing sex, He said,
- 1:04:15Speaker 8: now backing up? So I screwed it back. He laughed
- 1:04:17Speaker 8: and said back it up again. I realized he had
- 1:04:20Speaker 8: meant something entirely different. I'm not into that kind of mess,
- 1:04:23Speaker 8: and I let him know it. He said it was cool.
- 1:04:25Speaker 8: He thought we am I thought we had moved past that,
- 1:04:27Speaker 8: but he has it. He said he can guarantee our
- 1:04:30Speaker 8: intimacy would be better if I try that.
- 1:04:34Speaker 2: Now, before I get into that, let me explay.
- 1:04:36Speaker 8: You say I'm not desperate for a man, but I
- 1:04:38Speaker 8: messed a myth.
- 1:04:39Speaker 2: I kind of like him. You are desperate for a man.
- 1:04:41Speaker 8: Fall You're dating a man who can't buy you a
- 1:04:44Speaker 8: plate of food, you giving your credit card. You're dating
- 1:04:48Speaker 8: a man who's not a good lover. You're dating a
- 1:04:51Speaker 8: man who got a bar your light and for him
- 1:04:53Speaker 8: to light his weed while y'all hide behind the fence
- 1:04:57Speaker 8: with y'all old ass. You met him at a summer ja.
- 1:05:00Speaker 8: He tried to teach you the chur child slide. Who
- 1:05:03Speaker 8: in the hell don't know how to do the slide?
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: Stop saying that.
- 1:05:08Speaker 2: Who don't know the slide?
- 1:05:10Speaker 8: My nephew is a deacon at the Cleveland Church of Christ,
- 1:05:13Speaker 8: and he know the slide. My sister Mona is saved
- 1:05:21Speaker 8: eighty seven years old. Mona know the slide. My sister
- 1:05:28Speaker 8: probably had a stroke. My sister still do the slide.
- 1:05:34Speaker 2: She don't go to the left that good, no more,
- 1:05:36Speaker 2: but she still do the slide.
- 1:05:40Speaker 8: To the left is a little short steps, but she
- 1:05:44Speaker 8: get over there eventually.
- 1:05:48Speaker 2: Can you offer me some advice? Should I give it
- 1:05:50Speaker 2: in or try something new with him? Listen to me.
- 1:05:53Speaker 8: See, this ain't the first time he'd have been accused
- 1:05:56Speaker 8: of not being a good lover.
- 1:05:58Speaker 2: This is his their moment. He's not a good love.
- 1:06:00Speaker 2: So now he didne.
- 1:06:01Speaker 8: Incorporated this new move that he guarantee you. Hell yeah,
- 1:06:05Speaker 8: it's gonna be shocking. Hell yeah, I'm telling you right now,
- 1:06:11Speaker 8: it's gonna be shocking you back it all up. The
- 1:06:14Speaker 8: wrong thing I'm telling you right here where I'm constipated
- 1:06:16Speaker 8: is shocking.
- 1:06:17Speaker 2: Okay, all right, Most.
- 1:06:19Speaker 8: People is shocked when they constipated. Do you know anything
- 1:06:23Speaker 8: else is gonna be extra shock? But yeah, he need

- 1:06:59Speaker 1: Junior and Sports talk.
- 1:07:00Speaker 4: What you got, Junior, I say what I got first?
- 1:07:02Speaker 11: Before anything, I got waycat O April twenty first, I'm

- 1:07:09Speaker 4: at April one.
- 1:07:09Speaker 2: Place.
- 1:07:09Speaker 4: Were gonna be Hippodrome. That's where we're gonna be at. Anyway,
- 1:07:12Speaker 4: cow first, Remember that's my time. Yes, yeah, man, that's
- 1:07:16Speaker 4: where we're gonna be at. So let's get to it.
- 1:07:18Speaker 7: Man.
- 1:07:19Speaker 4: The Bulls beat the Raptors last night, one away.
- 1:07:23Speaker 2: To one oh five.
- 1:07:25Speaker 4: They trying to play for They locked up to seventh seed.
- 1:07:27Speaker 4: We're playing in the playing tournament.
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: We ain't got How do you do that?
- 1:07:31Speaker 4: You got playing tournament for the playoffs? Right?
- 1:07:33Speaker 2: This sounded like this sounded like a white house.
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: Either you win, you're gonna you know, I'm sorry, you won,
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: doctor Jill. Yeah, either sound like the white house.
- 1:07:43Speaker 2: Either you won or you didn't win. Okay, that's it.
- 1:07:46Speaker 4: That's all this sounds like. Man, But we're gonna give
- 1:07:48Speaker 4: it up to the Bulls. They locked up the seventh
- 1:07:49Speaker 4: seeds over the Raptors.
- 1:07:50Speaker 11: Now you got the Thunder who pulled it off over
- 1:07:53Speaker 11: New Orleans last night.
- 1:07:55Speaker 4: One twenty three to one eighteen.
- 1:07:58Speaker 11: Now they have locked up for seats, but then they
- 1:08:01Speaker 11: got another game now tomorrow.
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: Here's what we got the Bulls.
- 1:08:05Speaker 4: This is why it's confusing to me.
- 1:08:08Speaker 11: Now we got the Bulls playing the Heat and then
- 1:08:12Speaker 11: we have the Thunder and the Timberwolves.
- 1:08:15Speaker 4: So do they want to have a playoff or not?
- 1:08:18Speaker 2: Because because Junior, both of those teams lost. But that's
- 1:08:22Speaker 2: why they call it to play.
- 1:08:24Speaker 8: Since you didn't make the playof then y'all is just
- 1:08:28Speaker 8: playing out And they then broke it down and called
- 1:08:32Speaker 8: it to play in this just to make more revenue
- 1:08:35Speaker 8: for the NBA. Because let me ask you something, do
- 1:08:38Speaker 8: you care?
- 1:08:39Speaker 7: No? No, no, no.
- 1:08:44Speaker 2: Either.
- 1:08:45Speaker 11: We just need somebody to wear a championship. That's all
- 1:08:48Speaker 11: I have of question. Why isn't Zion playing in New Orleans?
- 1:08:52Speaker 11: What's wrong with him?
- 1:08:53Speaker 2: Street kiss?
- 1:08:55Speaker 8: Chubby ass don't want to take care of his body.
- 1:08:59Speaker 8: He run it up and down the floor like he
- 1:09:01Speaker 8: weighed one seventy. But his answer is two seventy, and
- 1:09:08Speaker 8: so he ain't doing nothing. He he doing the same
- 1:09:10Speaker 8: physical regiment I'm doing.
- 1:09:14Speaker 2: Figure out the team no we issue Day one from Zion.
- 1:09:23Speaker 8: Man could be a great a basketball player, man if
- 1:09:27Speaker 8: he would get himself into shape. He's never in shape
- 1:09:31Speaker 8: because he keeps asking his body to do stuff it
- 1:09:34Speaker 8: ain't set up to do.
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: With your big answer, all right, thank you for sports.
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: We'll be back to more than Steve Harvey Morning Show
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: at the top of the hour. Right after this, you're
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: listening Steve Harvey Morning Show, right, Steve so damn from
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: Facebook Rights. Hey, Steve, I'm one of your blue eyed
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: soul brothers. My wife and I are at odds over
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: a weekend disagreement and I need some backup or some
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: correction if it's appropriate. I'm a big boy, I can
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: take it. My wife is notorious for taking her own
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: sweet time getting ready for things. On Saturday night, we
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: decided to go see a movie and we were both
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: excited about I told her the film started twenty minutes
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: before it actually did, and it takes another twenty minutes
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: to get to the theater. Eventually, the twenty minute cushion
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: expired and it was fifteen minutes until show's time, so
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: I left and went by myself. Ten minutes after I
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: got to the theater, I received an angry barrage of
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: text messages. So I turned off my phone and enjoyed
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: the movie. It's now Tuesday, and she's still not talking
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: to me, Steve. I don't see what I did wrong.
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: If anything, she owes me an apology.
- 1:10:52Speaker 2: Hey, Blue Soul, Blue as Soulder. Yeah, no, is your
- 1:10:58Speaker 2: ass really that? Don't don't.
- 1:11:01Speaker 8: You thought you should make a date with your wife,
- 1:11:06Speaker 8: leave her, go to the movie, ignore her angry ass texts?
- 1:11:12Speaker 8: And you thought, and you sat there and enjoyed the movie. Well,
- 1:11:16Speaker 8: let me ask you a question. How you been enjoying
- 1:11:18Speaker 8: these past few days?
- 1:11:22Speaker 7: Dog?
- 1:11:23Speaker 8: You so damn wrong, ain't dog? You should have just
- 1:11:26Speaker 8: been late. You should have just been late. Bro, that
- 1:11:31Speaker 8: come with the territory, they run late. I know you
- 1:11:34Speaker 8: told him, and I know you said fifteen. So I
- 1:11:36Speaker 8: went on without her, okay, cool? And you set there,
- 1:11:39Speaker 8: which is what you wanted to do anyway. You needed
- 1:11:42Speaker 8: some me time. So when the angry text came, you
- 1:11:45Speaker 8: cut your phone off and enjoyed the movie as me
- 1:11:48Speaker 8: and can do because we know how to compartmentalize.
- 1:11:51Speaker 3: Is that what it?
- 1:11:52Speaker 7: But nah?
- 1:11:54Speaker 8: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. So he just went on
- 1:11:56Speaker 8: to the movie because he wanted to go see this movie.
- 1:11:59Speaker 8: He tied a waiting on because he gonna teach her
- 1:12:01Speaker 8: a lesson. But boy, oh, let me tell you something
- 1:12:05Speaker 8: about teaching a woman a lesson, the lesson that you
- 1:12:08Speaker 8: have to learn.
- 1:12:09Speaker 2: For trying to do that way more punishing. I bet
- 1:12:16Speaker 2: you won't leave her no more.
- 1:12:18Speaker 8: I bet you're gonna find another way to express your displeasure.
- 1:12:24Speaker 2: Yeah, bruh, you was wrong for that. You can't just
- 1:12:27Speaker 2: go to the movie without her, because that that don't
- 1:12:31Speaker 2: make no sense. Bro It don't take no sense, you say.
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: It comes with the territory Steed, meaning that all women
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: are later to take the longer to get dressed.
- 1:12:40Speaker 8: All women are late, but longer. Most women it takes
- 1:12:43Speaker 8: a little bit longer. They got more things to do.
- 1:12:45Speaker 8: They got had, they got make up, they got they
- 1:12:49Speaker 8: got a lot of stuff they thought. You know, you know,
- 1:12:51Speaker 8: unless you want to just take out, you know, with
- 1:12:53Speaker 8: that hernown figure she got on, that she slept in,
- 1:12:57Speaker 8: and if you want to take her to the movie with.
- 1:12:58Speaker 2: That bonnet on it all like that, then you go
- 1:13:01Speaker 2: on down there.
- 1:13:02Speaker 8: But if you want her to let her look like
- 1:13:04Speaker 8: she want to look, you're gonna have to take a
- 1:13:05Speaker 8: little bit more time now. When they late, Dog, they late,
- 1:13:09Speaker 8: you know, But women make it on time for what's important.
- 1:13:14Speaker 2: Women.
- 1:13:14Speaker 8: Women don't miss important stuff like gotta be at something
- 1:13:18Speaker 8: for the kids to recital and all like that. They
- 1:13:21Speaker 8: gonna be there. That optional stuff they don't. And probably
- 1:13:26Speaker 8: Dog is really a movie you want to just see,
- 1:13:28Speaker 8: Probably some damn Amma Geddon movie or something like that
- 1:13:32Speaker 8: Blue Avacar.
- 1:13:33Speaker 2: She don't give a damn by the Iron Man, you know.
- 1:13:35Speaker 8: And if you was down there watching the bridges in
- 1:13:36Speaker 8: the Madison County or something, she might have been on time.
- 1:13:40Speaker 8: Went on the.
- 1:13:43Speaker 2: King went on on, see Woman King or.
- 1:13:45Speaker 4: Something like that.
- 1:13:46Speaker 13: But ain't nobody.
- 1:13:47Speaker 2: Ain't nobody rushing down there to see.
- 1:13:50Speaker 8: Bonn based a Barn Part eight, because all he gonna
- 1:13:56Speaker 8: be doing a whole move and we can catch house.
- 1:14:00Speaker 2: Don't be several more people gonna die and right we
- 1:14:03Speaker 2: can get so blue eyed.
- 1:14:05Speaker 8: You was wrong for that, man, Yo, Your wife an apology,
- 1:14:08Speaker 8: you really do for leaving her.
- 1:14:10Speaker 2: Okay, Dan, she might owe you an apology.
- 1:14:13Speaker 8: For being late, but you're leaving her was way bigger
- 1:14:16Speaker 8: than her being late, because you never knows she could
- 1:14:19Speaker 8: have got there in time. You did you can't go
- 1:14:21Speaker 8: see all the previews, you probably ain't gonna get no
- 1:14:23Speaker 8: pop calling right away to get your answer in that seat,
- 1:14:26Speaker 8: and then you picked the best time to go get.
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: The pop com all right, all right, coming up in
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: twenty minutes after the hour, we'll have more of the
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. Right after this.

- 1:15:08Speaker 1: voices heard. Abram says she's honored by the appointment. She
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: went on to say, we are at an inflection point
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: for American and international democracy, and I look forward to
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: engaging Howard University's extraordinary students in a conversation about why

- 1:15:47Speaker 8: the Master's plan. And I'm thinking Stacy's realizing that she
- 1:15:53Speaker 8: has done so much great work for us. Yes, and
- 1:15:57Speaker 8: the governorship just wasn't meant to be at that particular

- 1:17:19Speaker 2: Baby talk give me the time? Yeah, little baby tiger.
- 1:17:22Speaker 15: Yeah, you would rather wake up next to a baby
- 1:17:25Speaker 15: tiger than you're a baby tiger?
- 1:17:28Speaker 2: Baby?
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: But other key words tiger yeah, baby baby first, take

- 1:17:41Speaker 1: but it's the same thing.
- 1:17:42Speaker 14: Though.
- 1:17:44Speaker 8: A hullred tiger is a whole good talker. You can
- 1:17:47Speaker 8: call it x all hungry talk the same damn thing.
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: Wow, okay about you guys. Every day I know a tiger.
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: I mean, would would you rather find a hidden camera
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: in your toilet area or would you rather find a
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: hidden camera in your shower?
- 1:18:14Speaker 2: Either one for me?
- 1:18:16Speaker 4: When you get in that toilet, you have a view.
- 1:18:18Speaker 13: You ain't gonna be live.
- 1:18:19Speaker 8: Come on, you better come on and take this shower.
- 1:18:24Speaker 8: I don't even know if that I don't even know
- 1:18:25Speaker 8: if the camera gonna be able to take it in
- 1:18:27Speaker 8: this toilet because I'm tikking show. The limb's gonna have
- 1:18:31Speaker 8: fog all over it.
- 1:18:32Speaker 7: Yeah, yeah, like I.
- 1:18:35Speaker 8: Released some gases into the air. I actually woke up
- 1:18:40Speaker 8: on the floor next to the toilet one time. Didn't
- 1:18:44Speaker 8: realize what had happened, but the aroma had hit me
- 1:18:47Speaker 8: that I fainted on the toilet, and as she got
- 1:18:49Speaker 8: about the floor and had to get back up on it,
- 1:18:52Speaker 8: I didn't know what had happened to you.
- 1:18:55Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know what had happened to me a
- 1:18:57Speaker 2: long time ago, but now I don't know what had Yeah.
- 1:19:01Speaker 8: When I came to, my pants came back my mind
- 1:19:04Speaker 8: and I was just on the side of the toilet.
- 1:19:07Speaker 8: I hadn't done nothing yet, but I got on back
- 1:19:09Speaker 8: up on it after I realized where I was, because
- 1:19:11Speaker 8: when I opened up, I was looking at the hamper.
- 1:19:13Speaker 2: I didn't know what that was.
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: That is today's round, Thank you.
- 1:19:21Speaker 2: I'm feeling right there at that hample.
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: I didn't coming up in forty nine minutes after. It's
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: our last break of the day, and we'll close out
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: the show with the one and only Steve Harvey right
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: after this.
- 1:19:36Speaker 9: You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show all.
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: Right, guys, here we are our last break of the day.
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: Steve Funny more than with your man, crazy Steve Harvey,
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: work for you.
- 1:19:51Speaker 4: Let me just go ahead and say this. I don't
- 1:19:52Speaker 4: know if they want to give it to you, but
- 1:19:54Speaker 4: I'm finna give it to you.
- 1:19:55Speaker 7: Man.
- 1:19:55Speaker 11: Thank you for constantly elevating yourself to a new level
- 1:19:59Speaker 11: of eager. I never thought even it knew it decided
- 1:20:02Speaker 11: in there. Because when you say you knock yourself off
- 1:20:05Speaker 11: last break, I can't. I can't tell you how crazy
- 1:20:08Speaker 11: this is.
- 1:20:10Speaker 2: You just keep going, You just keep doing.
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: We know how crazy he is.
- 1:20:15Speaker 4: When you say I went to the bathroom and knocked
- 1:20:17Speaker 4: myself out, let me tell you.
- 1:20:20Speaker 12: Just from some gases from gas. Okay, yeah, why you
- 1:20:24Speaker 12: have to bring bring that? Let's bring but said I
- 1:20:28Speaker 12: got up and got that when I realized where I was.
- 1:20:31Speaker 2: I mean, you was the first I got up on
- 1:20:33Speaker 2: all fours. I was on my knees.
- 1:20:35Speaker 8: I was trying to shake it off, but I had
- 1:20:38Speaker 8: them parents down around my ankle. So you couldn't just
- 1:20:40Speaker 8: get up. You know how you get up one leg
- 1:20:42Speaker 8: at a time. You got to kind of scoop your
- 1:20:44Speaker 8: body back and get up on them two legs because
- 1:20:47Speaker 8: you got your lands down on your so you got
- 1:20:50Speaker 8: to kind of scoop back and stand up. And I
- 1:20:54Speaker 8: looked in the toilet and wasn't nothing in that. That's
- 1:20:56Speaker 8: when I realized, Oh, that must have just been from gases.
- 1:21:00Speaker 8: And that's when I realized that really how powerful sometimes
- 1:21:05Speaker 8: gases can be.
- 1:21:07Speaker 9: And uh and uh.
- 1:21:09Speaker 8: I looked over there at the at the guest tile
- 1:21:12Speaker 8: wreck in front of the hamper that's right in front
- 1:21:14Speaker 8: of the tall and I noticed it had come out
- 1:21:16Speaker 8: the wall.
- 1:21:17Speaker 2: So I must have tried to grab the tile on
- 1:21:19Speaker 2: the way down to stay up and it had pulled
- 1:21:23Speaker 2: out the.
- 1:21:23Speaker 8: Wall a little bit. I went, damn, tore this tie
- 1:21:26Speaker 8: down tile wreck off this wall. And I kind of
- 1:21:30Speaker 8: just saw that. You can see the visual now, and uh,
- 1:21:33Speaker 8: it was a long time ago.
- 1:21:34Speaker 7: I was.
- 1:21:34Speaker 8: I was living at my mama's house because I don't know,
- 1:21:36Speaker 8: we don't have that ae house right now because we've
- 1:21:39Speaker 8: had them two tiles with the h's on them. And
- 1:21:41Speaker 8: I had grabbed it in this yeah, and the tire
- 1:21:44Speaker 8: wreck had came out the wall. So I knew that
- 1:21:47Speaker 8: I was must have got woozy and was feeling myself
- 1:21:51Speaker 8: going because I tried to stay up by grabbing the tie,
- 1:21:56Speaker 8: and uh so, when I did come to and my
- 1:21:58Speaker 8: face was right there the hamper, I thought I was
- 1:22:02Speaker 8: in the casket, right, So when I did get up,
- 1:22:05Speaker 8: and I stood up with them pants around my ankle,
- 1:22:09Speaker 8: and I said whoo, and I don't know what the
- 1:22:11Speaker 8: hell happened. And I looked back, and so then I
- 1:22:15Speaker 8: just went on and set on back down, you know,
- 1:22:18Speaker 8: and tried to gather myself. And you know, I picked
- 1:22:21Speaker 8: the catalog up off the floor, because you know, I was,
- 1:22:24Speaker 8: I was, yeah, I was reading the jays.
- 1:22:27Speaker 2: Penny catalog back then, you know.
- 1:22:30Speaker 8: So I picked the catalog up and then it was
- 1:22:32Speaker 8: on the same page, you know, and I was just
- 1:22:36Speaker 8: looking through the catalog at the stuff that they had.
- 1:22:39Speaker 8: So I went on and finished and then and you know,
- 1:22:41Speaker 8: handled my business and got up, and I never remember,
- 1:22:44Speaker 8: I'll never forget when I walked out that bathroom that day,
- 1:22:46Speaker 8: I kind of looked back. I sprayed it real good,
- 1:22:49Speaker 8: and then when I came out, I realized that that
- 1:22:51Speaker 8: spray wasn't enough, so I had to go back here
- 1:22:53Speaker 8: and spray twice.
- 1:22:54Speaker 2: And then I went on, took the can and went on.
- 1:22:58Speaker 2: It was glade.
- 1:22:58Speaker 8: Back then they hadn't come out with for breeze yet,
- 1:23:01Speaker 8: so I took that glade and sprayed in the hallway
- 1:23:04Speaker 8: just in case my mama came down through that, you know.
- 1:23:08Speaker 8: And I went on back and I set that glade
- 1:23:10Speaker 8: back on that counter, and I noticed that had a
- 1:23:14Speaker 8: jarge Tossy next to it, So I said, well, since
- 1:23:17Speaker 8: I'm in him. Yeah, I was sweating pretty bad because
- 1:23:20Speaker 8: when I got up it took a lot of energy.
- 1:23:22Speaker 8: So I went on and opening took two fingers and
- 1:23:24Speaker 8: put a little bit under each arm, you know, so
- 1:23:26Speaker 8: I can go on and face today.
- 1:23:28Speaker 15: You know.
- 1:23:29Speaker 8: It was a cream deodorant called Tussy, which is one
- 1:23:31Speaker 8: of the worst, one of the worst ass whoopers I
- 1:23:34Speaker 8: ever got, because I know y'all thought it was Tossy,
- 1:23:37Speaker 8: But when I was young, I thought it was tosty
- 1:23:40Speaker 8: because the only only on the new how you know,
- 1:23:43Speaker 8: all rhymes with words rhymes. So I had got a
- 1:23:47Speaker 8: whipping one time because I was in the bathroom and
- 1:23:49Speaker 8: I was imagining being on TV. I was playing the
- 1:23:53Speaker 8: Johnny Carston theme song and then and the gentlemen here,
- 1:23:57Speaker 8: Steve Harvey. I was a little boy standing on the
- 1:23:59Speaker 8: peach crate that father had made. So I decided to
- 1:24:02Speaker 8: on the go and we'll be right back at the
- 1:24:04Speaker 8: commercial break. I was doing the Steve Hardy Show, and
- 1:24:07Speaker 8: I decided to do a commercial. I say, this show
- 1:24:09Speaker 8: is brought to you by Tussy the local. Well, that
- 1:24:13Speaker 8: ain't what I thought it was when I was a
- 1:24:15Speaker 8: little boy.
- 1:24:16Speaker 2: So I said, this.
- 1:24:18Speaker 8: Commercial is brought to you by Tussy. And so I
- 1:24:21Speaker 8: was doing so I was doing the commercial. So I
- 1:24:23Speaker 8: wrote a commercial.
- 1:24:25Speaker 2: I like some to see.
- 1:24:28Speaker 8: I like them to see. I put some tutsy, right yep,
- 1:24:33Speaker 8: I put some touts it right there. I put some
- 1:24:36Speaker 8: Tussi on me, somemmer, eh real well, and I'm just
- 1:24:40Speaker 8: dipping in the thing, putting tussy on. But my mama
- 1:24:43Speaker 8: came in behind me and she was listening. But my
