- 0:13Speaker 1: giving them like theming bus things and it's not good. Steele,
- 0:38Speaker 1: I don't join Jo. You gotta use that turn hur
- 1:24Speaker 1: you gotta turn to turn them out. Got the turnout
- 1:45Speaker 1: to turn turn the water the water. Come come on
- 1:58Speaker 1: your back, huh, I sure will. Good morning everybody. You
- 2:04Speaker 1: are listening to the voice, Oh, come on, dig me now,
- 2:08Speaker 1: one and only Steve Harvey Man got a radio show,
- 2:13Speaker 1: Boil boiled boy. I can't even tell you, man Um.
- 2:18Speaker 1: I've been doing some thinking and and one of the
- 2:23Speaker 1: things that I wanted to mention today to you as
- 2:26Speaker 1: one of the principles of success being grateful at all times.
- 2:34Speaker 1: It's difficult to do. Being grateful at all times. It's
- 2:42Speaker 1: very difficult to do. I find that to be true
- 2:45Speaker 1: with myself. Now there are others that might be able
- 2:48Speaker 1: to do it, but just just from talking and listening
- 2:52Speaker 1: and and and living and learning, being grateful at all
- 2:56Speaker 1: times is difficult to do. But it's necessary because it's
- 3:02Speaker 1: it's such an act of faith in knowing that no
- 3:06Speaker 1: matter what's going on, it's going to be all right,
- 3:11Speaker 1: And it's hard to see that when things are not
- 3:15Speaker 1: going in your favor, when things have turned so dramatically
- 3:20Speaker 1: the other way, and it seems as though you're the
- 3:23Speaker 1: only one in the situation where you're involved with other people,
- 3:27Speaker 1: or someone got an accusation against you falsely, or somebody
- 3:31Speaker 1: trying to do something to you unjustifiably, whatever the case
- 3:35Speaker 1: may be. When it's happening to you, it does appear
- 3:40Speaker 1: to you that, oh, my goodness, man, this is horribly
- 3:44Speaker 1: one sided. So it is difficult. It's hard to do
- 3:49Speaker 1: to be grateful at all times, but it's so necessary,
- 3:53Speaker 1: and I just I just want to point out a
- 3:56Speaker 1: couple of things to you. First of all, the difficulty
- 4:00Speaker 1: in being grateful in hard times is that number one,
- 4:06Speaker 1: the present circumstances. Oftentimes it's just so pressing and so
- 4:11Speaker 1: overwhelming that a lot of your energy is devoted to
- 4:15Speaker 1: trying to come up with the solution for that, or
- 4:18Speaker 1: trying to muster the strength to whether the storm, or
- 4:21Speaker 1: trying to just brace yourself to try to get through it,
- 4:25Speaker 1: and in doing that, you don't It's hard to be grateful.
- 4:30Speaker 1: It's hard to be grateful in pain and I know
- 4:33Speaker 1: it is. But here is the trick for me. This
- 4:38Speaker 1: is what I've had to learn how to do, and
- 4:42Speaker 1: I guess it takes practice to get here. It's not
- 4:45Speaker 1: nothing you can just start doing right away. You got
- 4:47Speaker 1: to practice it in small increments to really get it.
- 4:50Speaker 1: What I've always had to say to myself and what
- 4:53Speaker 1: I've learned to say to myself is this is happening
- 4:57Speaker 1: to me because God is working me through something. This
- 5:02Speaker 1: is happening to me because there's some form of tests
- 5:06Speaker 1: that I have to pass in order to graduate to
- 5:09Speaker 1: the next grade that in order to be allowed to
- 5:12Speaker 1: move to the next level. This is happening to me
- 5:17Speaker 1: because there's something I need to purge my life, of
- 5:21Speaker 1: my body, of my spirit, of something's purging in me.
- 5:26Speaker 1: And when you purge something, it's it's painful. You know,
- 5:30Speaker 1: It's like a person getting off drugs. The withdrawal is agonizing.
- 5:35Speaker 1: I've been told and every documentary I've ever watched it
- 5:39Speaker 1: it's an agonizing process to go cold turkey, to withdraw,
- 5:44Speaker 1: to pull away after you've been doing something so long.
- 5:48Speaker 1: And so I know that this process is tough when
- 5:53Speaker 1: you're going through some pain, but when you're purging your system,
- 5:58Speaker 1: when you're when you're having to pass a test, when
- 6:02Speaker 1: you're about to make when you're being made ready for
- 6:06Speaker 1: the next level. That moment right in there, in realizing
- 6:11Speaker 1: that that's what's happening, that's where you find the gratitude.
- 6:15Speaker 1: That's where I found the gratitude. I hope I'm explaining
- 6:18Speaker 1: this correctly. I'm gonna keep trying until I get it.
- 6:21Speaker 1: But that's where you find the gratitude. The second part
- 6:26Speaker 1: of it is is that God has never left me
- 6:32Speaker 1: in all the things I've done, in all the mistakes
- 6:35Speaker 1: I've made, all the lies I've told, all the situations
- 6:40Speaker 1: I've gotten myself into from being greedy and wanting too
- 6:44Speaker 1: much for me at the expense sometimes of other people,
- 6:52Speaker 1: not doing it deliberately or in a vindictive way, because
- 6:56Speaker 1: I've never had that spirit. I'm not a vindictive or
- 7:00Speaker 1: a mean person, but sometimes in my life, in wanting
- 7:05Speaker 1: to do what I wanted to do, I didn't totally
- 7:08Speaker 1: weigh out the cause and effect of the other person.
- 7:12Speaker 1: I mean, can't just be real with you with that.
- 7:14Speaker 1: I mean, how many times we hadn't all done that? Look,
- 7:17Speaker 1: it doesn't don't make you a bad person. You know,
- 7:21Speaker 1: good people do bad things all the time. I just
- 7:24Speaker 1: happened to have come to the realization that unknowingly and
- 7:29Speaker 1: and not and not with malice intent towards a person.
- 7:36Speaker 1: I've heard people looking at something I wanted to do
- 7:41Speaker 1: without really looking at what the cause and effect would
- 7:45Speaker 1: be on the other person. So in doing some of
- 7:49Speaker 1: these things, I've created situations for myself. But God, through
- 7:53Speaker 1: his grace and mercy, has allowed me to even get
- 7:57Speaker 1: beyond that. So what I'm saying that God has never
- 8:00Speaker 1: left me in spite of myself. He's always gotten me through.
- 8:04Speaker 1: So that's the other part of it too. See that
- 8:08Speaker 1: no matter what you're going through, you've got to understand
- 8:11Speaker 1: that God has always gotten you through it, now, hasn't it.
- 8:14Speaker 1: Now that may not be the way you want it
- 8:16Speaker 1: or the way you liked, but guess what, you can't
- 8:19Speaker 1: do wrong and not pay for that. Now that that's
- 8:22Speaker 1: not how this works, That's never going to be the case.
- 8:25Speaker 1: But the great thing about God is he fires warning
- 8:28Speaker 1: shots at us all the time. He gives us an
- 8:30Speaker 1: opportunity to stop. You know, he don't fully punish us
- 8:34Speaker 1: right away every time we do something wrong. Now, does
- 8:37Speaker 1: it you know eventually you're going to get caught doing
- 8:40Speaker 1: whatever it is you're doing. You do understand that, don't you.
- 8:44Speaker 1: But the first time, that close call, that was a
- 8:47Speaker 1: warning shot for you to stop. Look, I know you're
- 8:50Speaker 1: not perfect. I know we all sent us down here,
- 8:52Speaker 1: so I know you're gonna make mistakes. One time, I
- 8:55Speaker 1: know you was looking at her when you wasn't supposed to.
- 8:57Speaker 1: I know you said something to him when you wasn't
- 9:00Speaker 1: opposed to. I know you got with her when you
- 9:02Speaker 1: know you wasn't supposed to. And I know you got
- 9:04Speaker 1: with him when you know you wasn't supposed to. So
- 9:07Speaker 1: I'll tell you what I'm gonna do. I'm gonna fire
- 9:08Speaker 1: warning shot and maybe you'll slow your role this time.
- 9:11Speaker 1: But we keep on though, see see see that's what happens.
- 9:15Speaker 1: See we just keep on and then the next thing,
- 9:18Speaker 1: you know, we get caught. Now, old Lord, have mercy,
- 9:21Speaker 1: I won't out of this. Yeah. Well see you didn't
- 9:24Speaker 1: dug this hole pretty deep, and he gonna get you out.
- 9:27Speaker 1: But there's some things that's got to go down now
- 9:30Speaker 1: because you didn't pay attention to the warning shot. See,
- 9:32Speaker 1: had you stopped the first time, you felt bad about
- 9:35Speaker 1: it and said you wasn't gonna do it no more.
- 9:37Speaker 1: The situation wouldn't be as critical. But because we don't stop,
- 9:41Speaker 1: and we go again. But God always for gives, He
- 9:46Speaker 1: always allows us to get back up again. He always
- 9:50Speaker 1: gives us mercy. He always gives us his grace. He
- 9:55Speaker 1: always does that. You're listening, ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls,
- 10:04Speaker 1: people from all around the world. You are listening to

- 14:14Speaker 1: from Maury and Fort Lauderdale. I'm twenty eight and I
- 14:17Speaker 1: moved in with my mom three years ago to help
- 14:19Speaker 1: her through a financial crisis. She got back on track
- 14:23Speaker 1: a year ago. She got back on track, and a
- 14:26Speaker 1: year ago she reunited with an old flame and quickly
- 14:28Speaker 1: fell in love with him. Their relationship is progressed, and
- 14:31Speaker 1: she told me they're ready to move in together and
- 14:35Speaker 1: her house is more suitable, so I'll have to move
- 14:38Speaker 1: out within three months. I've been helping her pay the
- 14:41Speaker 1: mortgage and other bills, so I haven't been saving any money.
- 14:44Speaker 1: I am so hurt by this. Should I tell her
- 14:47Speaker 1: how I feel or just move out? Well, you should
- 14:51Speaker 1: tell her how you feel, but then you got to
- 14:53Speaker 1: get out. Oh that's all. You could tell her how
- 14:59Speaker 1: you feel. But as your mama's house, you guys to
- 15:02Speaker 1: go and here comes this mate, and you know that's
- 15:06Speaker 1: that's that's a little trifling. But you know, you know,
- 15:08Speaker 1: you know what your mama doing it all. But I
- 15:11Speaker 1: don't think she really realizes the sacrifice you made for her,
- 15:14Speaker 1: So you may have to bring it to her attention. Okay,
- 15:17Speaker 1: I like that advice, Cello. Moving on Chicken, Montgomery says,
- 15:22Speaker 1: my husband is a long hauler, and when he's gone,
- 15:25Speaker 1: I had another life that he knew nothing about. I
- 15:27Speaker 1: like to go out, smoke cigarettes and drink hard alcohol
- 15:31Speaker 1: and entertain men. What I'm a waitress, and I mean,
- 15:36Speaker 1: and I meet most of my gentlemen there. I recently
- 15:39Speaker 1: found out that my husband is cheating on me. So
- 15:41Speaker 1: now whenever he's home, I started showing him my other
- 15:44Speaker 1: side and I have left to go on dates while
- 15:47Speaker 1: he's home, he doesn't say a word. Does this mean
- 15:50Speaker 1: he doesn't love me anymore? Is there any way to
- 15:52Speaker 1: fix this? No? No, I ain't no fix for this.
- 15:56Speaker 1: He cool with you going out, you found out he
- 15:59Speaker 1: was cheating, You stayed. He found out you cheating, He stayed.
- 16:04Speaker 1: You know, y'all marriage been over? And how old are you? Anyway?
- 16:08Speaker 1: What is hard? Likal? Hard alcohol? Christians? You know anybody
- 16:13Speaker 1: that's say I've been smoking cigarettes and drinking hard? What?
- 16:17Speaker 1: What were you? What were you? Amish and entertaining man?
- 16:23Speaker 1: We could be some brown looker. It could be smoking,
- 16:27Speaker 1: drinking hard, lookal and entertaining me. Damn, aam you didn't
- 16:36Speaker 1: went from the Sunday school teacher to you just out there?
- 16:41Speaker 1: She had a whole nother life, she said, he didn't
- 16:43Speaker 1: know anything about she hain't got an hold the walls. Huh?
- 16:47Speaker 1: But average yeah? Yeah, caverns, yeah, all right. Bria in
- 16:56Speaker 1: Paradise Island, Bahamas says she's going to turn twenty soon
- 16:59Speaker 1: and she's in a relationship with a twenty six year
- 17:02Speaker 1: old man. My parents are old fashioned and told him
- 17:05Speaker 1: he's too old to be dating me. They have forbid
- 17:08Speaker 1: me to see him, so I have to sneak to
- 17:10Speaker 1: spend quality time with him. He has asked me to
- 17:13Speaker 1: marry him, and my dad won't allow it. He says
- 17:15Speaker 1: that he loves me enough to wait for me to
- 17:17Speaker 1: turn twenty one, but I'm scared of losing him. My
- 17:20Speaker 1: parents don't understand. He's a really good guy. Other women
- 17:24Speaker 1: are interested in him, So what should I do? Wow,
- 17:28Speaker 1: she's twenty nineteen. Actually well, I mean, I mean, you're
- 17:31Speaker 1: gonna keep saying it. It's what you're gonna do. You've
- 17:35Speaker 1: already made that decision. Yeah, I mean, that's what she's doing.
- 17:40Speaker 1: She sneaks to see him. She's claimed that he's a
- 17:43Speaker 1: really good guy. He said he's gonna wait for you know.
- 17:47Speaker 1: She say other women are interested. You know they're the
- 17:52Speaker 1: Bahamas over on Paradise Island. That ain't a lot. What
- 17:57Speaker 1: is the Bahamas twenty one miles long? I don't know,
- 18:01Speaker 1: but I love it there. Yeah, I mean love it's
- 18:06Speaker 1: easy to bust him. That's for damn show. I can't drive,
- 18:12Speaker 1: he can't run off. All you gotta do it keep
- 18:13Speaker 1: going in the circle. Eventually you're gonna get You're gonna catch.
- 18:18Speaker 1: Just wait for him to come back around. And this
- 18:21Speaker 1: is that age when kids don't listen. This is that age,
- 18:24Speaker 1: Oh wow, especially if the parents. Yeah, am I preaching
- 18:31Speaker 1: to the choir right now? Listen? Yeah? All right, jay,
- 18:36Speaker 1: here it is. You gotta give up one thing, mister hiving, cussin,
- 18:42Speaker 1: smoking cigarettes, the other things. No, no, you gotta give
- 18:50Speaker 1: up one thing, cussin, smoking cigars or sports? Which one
- 18:54Speaker 1: you get rid of? For good? No more for good.
- 18:58Speaker 1: He's not gonna handle this question. We all face struggling
- 19:02Speaker 1: a zoo frozen. I not even say sports. I don't
- 19:09Speaker 1: know if you can have I'm not giving up oars?
- 19:14Speaker 1: Can I give up sports? To give up one? One? One?
- 19:19Speaker 1: Yall love cigars and you love stop cussing? You got
- 19:26Speaker 1: up one? Man? Has I'm gonna work through stuff? No, No,
- 19:31Speaker 1: I cussin helps me work through things, you know, stressing? Okay, girl,
- 19:37Speaker 1: I wouldn't know what to do, man, if you told
- 19:39Speaker 1: me I couldn't cuss no more. I'm tell you right now, man,
- 19:42Speaker 1: you be really threw me into something. You got to
- 19:45Speaker 1: come get the damn cigars because you show ain't finning
- 19:48Speaker 1: get your cussin. Okay, give you cigars, man. Yeah, I'd
- 19:54Speaker 1: have to give up cigars and that and that's a hall.
- 19:56Speaker 1: Well would you because of that, you can't have a cigar?
- 19:59Speaker 1: Would you be cousin that? I sure, hey, dog, for sure.
- 20:04Speaker 1: I wouldn't even know what to do with our sports.
- 20:07Speaker 1: Okay you spoken cigars watching sports, but you can't cut us?
- 20:12Speaker 1: How that sound? What? He just ship the dump? What
- 20:25Speaker 1: am I? What the heck? Snick mom Rich watching all right?
- 20:33Speaker 1: Thank you, Filo and Jay for that final one. All right,
- 20:37Speaker 1: coming up more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show right
- 20:40Speaker 1: after this. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 20:44Speaker 1: Right now. It is time for the nephew to run
- 20:46Speaker 1: that prank back. What you got for us? Neph the
- 20:49Speaker 1: plumba cat dog. Let's go baby to plumba Hello. Yeah,
- 20:53Speaker 1: I'm trying to retail y'all. Mister missus, how you doing
- 20:58Speaker 1: you you're the person that does the plumbing work, am
- 21:01Speaker 1: I right? Yeah? Yeah? Nah? My wife got some work
- 21:04Speaker 1: done for you. You come by the house, now, do
- 21:06Speaker 1: you know, I know you probably got quite a bit
- 21:09Speaker 1: of work. No, well, I do so many throughout the day.
- 21:13Speaker 1: So I have it on my receiver. I can look
- 21:16Speaker 1: at over Hill about three days ago. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 21:22Speaker 1: I can recall was a lady there. Yeah, it was
- 21:25Speaker 1: a tarlet was backed up and was overflowing. And yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 21:30Speaker 1: I can recall that. Now. Something's wrong with the sinking
- 21:32Speaker 1: now too, and that that had a leak in the
- 21:35Speaker 1: back of it. Yeah, I had a leak in the back.
- 21:37Speaker 1: And uh, and I've done that. I fixed that there
- 21:39Speaker 1: for you. And uh, I took that toilet that I
- 21:41Speaker 1: had around the bottom of your base, the tilet base there.
- 21:45Speaker 1: I had to take that up and retape it because
- 21:47Speaker 1: that tape head came came loose. It was kind of old.
- 21:50Speaker 1: And I, you know, I went through that and done
- 21:52Speaker 1: all that and saved it up and sealed it up
- 21:54Speaker 1: and and I rebased that seal back there on your
- 21:57Speaker 1: in the tarlet, and and your sink had a little
- 21:59Speaker 1: leaked back in the back. I fixed that because you know,
- 22:02Speaker 1: that was really easy. Now, So well see that something
- 22:06Speaker 1: went wrong with the tarlet, did you did you put
- 22:10Speaker 1: another pipe or something. Did you rewrite a pipe or anything? No? No,
- 22:15Speaker 1: like I said, all I did. I took the base
- 22:16Speaker 1: of it off there, and I taped it up where
- 22:19Speaker 1: that old tape there, and then I'll put me some

- 52:27Speaker 1: on tight, we got it for you. Here it is.
- 52:28Speaker 1: It's a Strawberry letter. Subject, I've been a whole fool
- 52:32Speaker 1: for eighteen years. Here's Stephen Shirley. There is so much
- 52:36Speaker 1: going on in my home. I've been with my husband
- 52:39Speaker 1: for eighteen years and we've been married for four years.
- 52:43Speaker 1: I have three children from a previous marriage and we
- 52:46Speaker 1: have a daughter together. My husband does not like my
- 52:49Speaker 1: children and he talks about them constantly. My kids don't
- 52:53Speaker 1: like him either, and after we got married, they moved
- 52:55Speaker 1: out of the house. The daughter that I have with
- 52:58Speaker 1: him was thirteen years old when we got married, and
- 53:01Speaker 1: she told me that I should not marry her daddy.
- 53:03Speaker 1: I questioned her, but she would not tell me why.
- 53:06Speaker 1: When my husband is at home, he stays in our
- 53:09Speaker 1: bedroom with the door closed and the TV is always
- 53:14Speaker 1: on blast. When he's not in the bedroom or at work,
- 53:17Speaker 1: he spends time at his mama's house. Recently, our daughter
- 53:21Speaker 1: came to me and finally told me why I should
- 53:24Speaker 1: not have married her dad. She said that he has
- 53:27Speaker 1: a long time girlfriend in Florida. She's met the woman
- 53:31Speaker 1: at my husband's mother's house years ago. The girlfriend spends
- 53:34Speaker 1: time at my mother in law's house when she's in town.
- 53:37Speaker 1: My husband talks to our daughter about his mistress, and
- 53:41Speaker 1: he never expected her to say anything to me. My
- 53:44Speaker 1: other children know too, so I look like a fool.
- 53:48Speaker 1: He has made all of our lives miserable for his
- 53:50Speaker 1: own selfish gains. My daughter has no respect for her dad,
- 53:55Speaker 1: and I had to tell her that all men are
- 53:58Speaker 1: not dogs. My husband is that he's asked God for
- 54:01Speaker 1: forgiveness for all his wrongdoings, but he is not going
- 54:05Speaker 1: to stop seeing this woman. So now, okay, said my
- 54:11Speaker 1: husband said that he's asked God for forgiveness for all
- 54:15Speaker 1: his wrongdoings, but he's not going to stop seeing this woman.
- 54:19Speaker 1: So now I'm on a mission to leave him and
- 54:22Speaker 1: make him pay emotionally and financially for everything he has
- 54:26Speaker 1: put me through. How do I heal from this? Well,
- 54:30Speaker 1: that's a good start, making him pay, especially financially, emotionally financially, however,
- 54:36Speaker 1: you can make him pay, make him pay. But how
- 54:38Speaker 1: do you heal from this? You ask I have one
- 54:40Speaker 1: word from you for you, and that's forgiveness. He's asking
- 54:44Speaker 1: God for forgiveness, Yeah, forgiveness. He's got to forgive him.
- 54:47Speaker 1: He's asking God for forgiveness, but he hasn't asked you
- 54:50Speaker 1: for forgiveness. Okay, what a horrible situation this is. You know,
- 54:58Speaker 1: just so much going on. His mother is disrespectful by
- 55:02Speaker 1: letting the woman come to her house and hang out
- 55:04Speaker 1: with her, and it's just wrong for him to put
- 55:07Speaker 1: your daughter, your young daughter, in the middle of all
- 55:10Speaker 1: of this. I mean, how is she supposed to process
- 55:12Speaker 1: all this grown folks, mess your marriage, your dad seeing
- 55:17Speaker 1: this other woman, him telling her about this other woman,
- 55:20Speaker 1: all of this. I mean, she's too young to process
- 55:22Speaker 1: all of this. Not good for your daughter. I mean,
- 55:25Speaker 1: it is going to tain her view of men. And
- 55:28Speaker 1: I you know, it's good that you told her all
- 55:30Speaker 1: men aren't dogs. Okay, you're right about the fact that
- 55:35Speaker 1: he's selfish, that he only cares about himself, not to
- 55:39Speaker 1: mention that he's inconsiderate and he's just playing stupid. I mean,
- 55:44Speaker 1: so if he if he says he's not going to
- 55:47Speaker 1: stop seeing this woman, then you have to go on
- 55:51Speaker 1: with your life. Okay, I have to tell you that
- 55:52Speaker 1: you have to go on. But to get it started
- 55:54Speaker 1: and heal from all of this, you gotta do something
- 55:56Speaker 1: for yourself. You gotta forgive him. That's the starting point
- 56:00Speaker 1: to get you to start living your own life. You
- 56:02Speaker 1: gotta do it. I'm sorry, I mean, you know, I
- 56:04Speaker 1: know you're hurt and all of that, but go ahead,
- 56:06Speaker 1: forgive him. Don't give him any more of your precious time.
- 56:09Speaker 1: Eighteen years is more than enough. Then and only then
- 56:13Speaker 1: after you forgive him, can you really really truly move
- 56:16Speaker 1: on with your life? Steve, forgive forgive him? That's what
- 56:21Speaker 1: I say. Okay, well, the subject is called I've been
- 56:25Speaker 1: a whole fool for eighteen years. Let me just say,
- 56:28Speaker 1: after reading this letter, I think you have done an
- 56:32Speaker 1: excellent job of being a whole fool. And throughout the
- 56:36Speaker 1: letter you have really shown me that you are a
- 56:39Speaker 1: whole fool. See, if you're gonna do something, don't half
- 56:43Speaker 1: do it. What is a half a fool? You might
- 56:46Speaker 1: as well do it like you did all the way
- 56:48Speaker 1: through this letter, be a whole fool. So let's just
- 56:51Speaker 1: start right there. You've been with your husband eighteen years.
- 56:55Speaker 1: We've been married for folk. You got three kids from
- 56:59Speaker 1: a previous man. Y'all got one daughter together. Your husband
- 57:03Speaker 1: don't like your kids, he talks about them, and your
- 57:06Speaker 1: kids don't like him either. Damn man, don't nobody like
- 57:10Speaker 1: nobody in this house. My kids don't like him me.
- 57:13Speaker 1: Then after we got married, they moved out of the
- 57:15Speaker 1: house where they go. You've been married four years, but
- 57:20Speaker 1: you've been with him for eighteen. I don't know how
- 57:23Speaker 1: your kids was. Damn, I don't they grown. They're gonna anyway,
- 57:26Speaker 1: they're out the house. The daughter that you got with
- 57:29Speaker 1: him is thirteen. Then when y'all got man, she told
- 57:33Speaker 1: you you shouldn't marn her daddy. Damn. Okay, now, let
- 57:37Speaker 1: me get this right. All your kids didn't like him.
- 57:41Speaker 1: All your kids moved out. Then the one baby y'all
- 57:46Speaker 1: had together thirteen years old. By the time y'all got mad,
- 57:52Speaker 1: she told me you shouldn't marry her daddy. Now you're
- 57:55Speaker 1: a nice lady, because everybody like you and one what's
- 57:59Speaker 1: the best for you? Everybody hates his food, you questioned her,
- 58:02Speaker 1: but she wouldn't tell you why when your husband at
- 58:05Speaker 1: home here in the bedroom with the dog clothes and
- 58:07Speaker 1: the TV on blast here and that talking here and
- 58:11Speaker 1: that talker, I have to agree with that. When he's
- 58:13Speaker 1: not in the bedroom or at work, he spend time
- 58:16Speaker 1: at his mama's house. Where we found out why he
- 58:19Speaker 1: be at his mama's house in a damn show. Ain't
- 58:21Speaker 1: cause it, mama. Then your daughter came to you finally
- 58:26Speaker 1: told you that you shouldn't have married her daddy because
- 58:29Speaker 1: he got a long time girlfriend in Florida, and she
- 58:32Speaker 1: hadn't met a woman at your mama in law's house.
- 58:35Speaker 1: The girlfriend spend time at the mother in law's house
- 58:38Speaker 1: when she in town. She come to town a lot,
- 58:40Speaker 1: but you say your husband always over there. I think
- 58:43Speaker 1: she from Florida originally, but I think she'd moved up
- 58:47Speaker 1: here and she come over to mama's house all the time.
- 58:49Speaker 1: Because you say he always at his mama's house. I'm
- 58:51Speaker 1: gonna tell you the rest of it when we come back,
- 58:53Speaker 1: and you ain't gonna like it. Well, see, we'll get
- 58:56Speaker 1: to part two of your response coming up at twenty
- 58:58Speaker 1: three after there when we come back a subject, I've
- 59:02Speaker 1: been a whole fool for eighteen years. You're listening show,
- 59:08Speaker 1: all right, Steve, Let's recap today's strawberry letter. I've been
- 59:10Speaker 1: a whole fool for eighteen years. Lady been married, been
- 59:15Speaker 1: with this man eighteen years married, foldy got She had
- 59:18Speaker 1: three kids from previous marriage, though none of the kids
- 59:21Speaker 1: like to do. They had one child together when they
- 59:25Speaker 1: got married. All the kids moved out. The thirteen year
- 59:27Speaker 1: old that you all got together. Your daughter finally told
- 59:32Speaker 1: you you shouldn't marry my daddy. But ain't this day, kid?
- 59:37Speaker 1: But then she says to her mother, you shouldn't marry
- 59:40Speaker 1: my daddy. She questioned about it. She never told him.
- 59:44Speaker 1: Then she finally told him. He got a girlfriend that
- 59:48Speaker 1: be at her grandmama's house, which is her mother in
- 59:51Speaker 1: law's house, the baby's grandmother. Now he has been discussing
- 59:56Speaker 1: the mistress with his daughter. Who do that? Who do that? Man? Dog?
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: I ain't never heard of that one right there unless
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: he was planning on leaving you was trying to get
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: the girl to side up with him. Now, he said,
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: after all this, he has asked God to forgive him,
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: but he man, but this one right here for men,
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: this did you tell this to your wife? I have
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: asked God to forgive me, but I'm not gonna stop
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: seeing her. Okay, So let me ask something, dog, what
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: did you ask God to forgive you? Because this don't
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: make no damn sense. Don't do if he asked God
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: to forgive but then you tell your wife but I'm
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: not gonna stop seeing her? What did you ask God
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: to forgive you? Fall? And then no way in this, Lanna,
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: does he ask you to forgive him? Because he can't
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: ask you to forgive him because he'd told you before,
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: whether you forgive me or not, I'm gonna not so
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: I'm gonna not to stop seeing her now. Shelanan told
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: you that is best for you to forgive him. You know,
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: I understand where you're coming from, Shelly, but this is fresh.
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: It's just happened. You gonna eventually have to forgive him
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: and move on for your own benefit, like Sherley said,
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: But not right now. Yeah, we got we got some
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: stuff we got to do. See, I don't know why.
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: Sheley tried to throw this Christianity out there first, like
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: she ain't gonna kick and bus out of all his
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: car winners and put him on face to put him
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: on she tried to act like she ain't fini to
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: do this right here allegedly my ass. Now you're gonna
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: make him pay. He's asked God to forgive it, just
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: a line. I can't get paid. I'm gonna ask God
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: to forgive me. But I'm not gonna stop seeing. I'm
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: gonna keep on doing this. Wow, this woman right him.
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: You're in a position of a man who don't care
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: nothing about you. Oh no, you've never been in the
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: marriage this This man got busted cheating and instead of
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: asking you for forgiveness, let's work it out. I'm sorry,
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: he tells you. I don't ask God to forgive me,
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: but I'm not fitting to stop seeing You're not fine,
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: syn man, man, let me tell you something. I mean, dog,
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: that's illogical. I don't care who you are. It ain't
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: a man in here really can hit himself saying that now.
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: So lady, then you said you first before you leave him.
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: So now I'm on a mission to leave him and
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: make him pay emotionally and financially. Well, you can definitely
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: get him financially, not emotional part. I need the ladiest
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: to tell me what they what is? What are they
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: gonna do to him to make him pay emotion Shirley
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: and Carler. I just want Shirley and Carlin talk about.
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: I don't want to hear from nobody else. What are
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: they gonna do to this man to make him emotionally pay.
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: Let's get into the mind of women. Hell have no
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: fearing like a woman's scoring. So some man hadn't done
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: this to you? Fleep with one eye open, that's all
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: I gotta say. Oh, don't close both of your eyes
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: at night. Well, I'm you want what I would, Yeah,
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: come over here, and I'm going to Florida. Is that
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: what a woman is? I'm going down to Florida and
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: me and her, we're gonna have a conversation. Then we're
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: gonna talk to him. Just go jim mamah. Yeah, she's
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: right there. But you see, you gotta get him emotionally
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: because he said he's not gonna stop seeing her. So
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: now you got to really go in so correct. I mean,
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: if you're gonna do something to her down there, you're
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: concerned about that. I mean, I'm just trying to figure
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: out when they do get back together, she gonna look different.
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: Well I might start cooking. Yeah, wow, yeah, she said,
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: she said, she said, didn't you tell her that? You go,
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: I'm gonna stop seeing me? But she just shut both
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: my eyes and now I can't see you. This is
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: this is ugly man. This is ugly. This man cares
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: nothing about you. Now her. Now, your daughter has no
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: respect for her dad. He's the most selfish person I've
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: ever seen. And and you're trying to tell your daughter
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: to all me and ain't dogs. My husband says that
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: he's asked God for forgiveness for all he's wrong doing
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: what he ain't gonna stop seeing it didn't get it
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: at your man. All right, guys, we gotta get out
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: of here. You can post your thoughts on Today's Strawberry Letter.

- 1:05:29Speaker 1: All right, So Steve, your boy Janson he Brown is

- 1:05:37Speaker 1: Signs that tell you were about to get dumped? He
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: come on, Steve, how many books have you written, Steve? Three?

- 1:06:02Speaker 1: but she ain't packing number Victorian secrets and condoms. You
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: know she ain't. You know you need to look into that. Okay,
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: she told you, she told you she needs to stay
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: late with the kids and work with them. But their
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: homework at Starbucks? Whatever signed you about to get dumb.
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: Oh yeah, clear you over to the house, now, y'all chilling.
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: You find a man's jacket at the house. It's eight
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: sizes too big, but she says it's for you. Yea whatever,
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: that a b. That's a big dude and coming about
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: to get dumped. You're about to get dumb. She ain't
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: even gets cooking ribbed chicken, taking me for her mama.
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: Now you know, damn well her mama is a telling cop.
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: What's up with that? Know that? Come on, try to
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: bring me lucy stupid written on my faith. You're about
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: to get dumb. This is she telling you. She said, baby,
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: I'm gonna be coming to a baby shower. But it
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: started at eleven o'clock at night. And uh, they asked
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: us all to wear sequence dresses. So but I'll be
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: I'll be back. So all right, it started eleven night.
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: Do I look like a food to you? Look at me?
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: Take due? I look stupid. Yeah, she's been out all
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: day long. It's eleven o'clock and no here she come,
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: trapes in and lemm leven thirty round quarter sitting there wait,
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: traped in in right, and she smelled like old spice
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: man even thank you right, Chap nine, I'm writing, I'm right. Yeah.
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: All of a sudden, y'all getting busy, right, and you
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: see about four or five freak moves you ain't ever
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: seen before. We whoa, whoa? You even doing that? All right? Jay?
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: We can't wait to get it coming up more of
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show right after this. You're listening
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Well, just being scared
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: make you want to get busy, you know, get busy.
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: You know what that means. Study says, yes, if someone
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: is yelling boo makes you want to hook up with
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: your boo, you're not alone. Experts say shriek inducing horror
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: film scenes can make you feel horney. According to Leah Homegren,
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: Manhattan based intimacy and relationship coach, it's a matter of
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: simple human instinct to want to be close to another
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: person when you're scared. This phenomenon is from prehistoric times
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: when we needed to bond, especially in dangerous situations and
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: increase the chances for survival. So, guys, Junior, Steve, what movie?
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: What horror movie scared you so much that you wanted to,
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: you know, not the boots? Get busy? Yeah, whatever, Nightmare
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: on Elm Street for me because I had to say, whoa,
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: just keep going boot, Yeah, you watched all of it
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: one time. Sure, you watch it from one to ten
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: just to stay up. That would do it for me.
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: That's kind of weird, I know it is. I mean,
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: I see people together to a movie and you guys,
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: you know you're scared, so you're you're cuddled up in
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: the movie and everything. But after the movie it's over. Right. Yeah,
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you right now. You don't do that
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: for me. Yeah? What a matter of fact, I don't.
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: I don't really I don't. First of all, I don't
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: go to scared movie, so I don't know what the
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: hell they do land scared movie I went to with
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: the axs, and that did not induce the excess. How
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: about sixteen? Now that's when you and your guys. Now,
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: I'll tell you what do make me want to get busy?
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: Like if I'm getting cold, if it get cold outside,
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: I want to do something. If I got the flu,
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: I want to do something. It's dark outside, I want
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: to do something. Every everything other than a scary movie
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: sounds I wake up early in the morning, yeah time, yeah, yeah, right,
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: But Can we back up to the flu. Can we
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: back up to that? Yeah? If I got the flu energy,
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: I don't need that energy. I just want to feel better.
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: If I'm doing something, I forget I got the flu. Yeah,
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: and then give it to give it to your wife.
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: Well you probably got it anyway. You know, we're in
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: they're laying around like we'll do something like it far,
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: Like if I got a fever. Yeah, I want to
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: do something then too, I promise. Then I can always
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: say this is gonna be hot. You ain't got to
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: be come. I ain't got to lie, girl, you better
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: come on this thing to be hot. And it is
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: just you know, you know, just like that, you know,
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: so you gotta know. You gotta know what it is
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: that turn you on. You know, like if I make
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: a left turn and I should have made a right turn,
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: I want to do something. Don't take it much? Yeah,
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: right o old you know. Yeah, you know I love
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: how you give us insight into men's thinking. Yeah, you know,
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: like if you like, if I'm standing there talking to you,
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: and you know how you just blow sometimes because you're
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: from a solid bloom, but you blow your head a
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: little bit up now, Yeah, that'll get you done too. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: I don't really take much, is what you're saying. That's
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: exactly right, Junior. Like if you outside and you playing
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: sports or something like volleyball and a mosquito bite you
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: on your ass and you slap the mosquito, that'll probably Yeah,
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: I know you. I know you were smacking that for me.
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: I know that. I'm just telling you how me and
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: are I don't take much. If I have a six
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: crisis and y'all call me, I'll probably go one somebody
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: to care about me. Oh good, all right, thank you guys.
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: Coming up? More music, more fun, hardy ignorance. I know
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: how you doing today, sweetie. That's it. That's sweetie. More
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: of the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up right after this.
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: You're listening to show. Well, it's starting to look a
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: lot like COVID is putting a damper on a second
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: straight Thanksgiving. In a new survey, fifty seven percent of
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: people so that they're planning some kind of virtual holiday
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: that includes a video call, and fifty five percent of
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: people say they'll hit up multiple small gatherings rather than
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: one huge party like Thanksgiving normally is. But friends Giving
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: is looking even more popular than ever among young people.
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: Almost three fits of millennials and gin zeers plan to
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: attend to holiday gathering with friends. Generation Z. Yeah, so
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: you have you guys thought about Thanksgiving yet? I know
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: it's kind of early, but it is next month, and
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: you know how quickly the holidays get come upon us.
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: They really come quickly. Man. Yeah, you have a big
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: family too. Well, my big family got other families now,
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: so yeah, you know, but you know what I mean.
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: You know my kids are grown now, so we kind
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: of kind of freed up. But you know, I don't
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: I don't know what we're gonna be doing, if we
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: traveling or something. M M, what about your nephew. I'm
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: testing the ass at the dough. Well, I'm going up gathering.
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: I'm going up in your nose on the door. To
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: get out of my nose. I'm sorry doing If you don't,
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: don't look, if you don't, if you want to eat,
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: you got to bring your nose. I'm just telling you
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: right there, I'm testing the turkey too. I'm testing anything.
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: Coming up mar of the Steve Harvey Morning Show at
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: thirty three minutes after. Right after this, you're listening Steve
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: Harvey Morning show. Come on, Steve j. Anthony Brown is
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: here to murder another hit. Ladies and gentlemen, don't delay.

- 1:16:34Speaker 1: How many Donald trouble will alive? See babe many babies,

- 1:18:05Speaker 1: my neighborhood. It probably will be ten thousand kids that
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: come over. Ten thousand, thousand, ten easy, ten thousand kids.
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: A lot of kids this year. I'm an dressing up
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: all right, coming up, it's Steve Harvey and his closing remarks.
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: You don't want to miss it. At forty nine after
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: the hours. You're listening, all right, Steve, Here we are
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: our last break of the day on this Tuesday. It's
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: been a good day. Yeah, really really good. Yeah, good day.
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: So time for you now to let us go home
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: finish your day. I want to talk to everybody about, oh,
- 1:18:45Speaker 1: your relationship with God. You know what, man, Oh, listen
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: to me, only real, just as a real dude talking
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: to you. It's the most important relationship you can form,
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: because a deal about a relationship with God. Here's the
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: truth of the matter. He is the one entity that's
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: for real and forever. Now you may find your soul
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: mate and you all made stay married until you die
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: and death. That's cool. Some people think they find them
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: and something happens and they don't last till they die
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: of divorces fifty percent high. Most people don't honor the
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: commitments that they say it through or alter to death
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: through his part Richard for poor better sickness and health
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: and all of that, they just don't. God does every
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: single thing he says he's gonna do, He do it.
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: So what I'm saying is this relationship that you can
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: have with God that you don't have to tell anybody
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: else about, will be the most solid relationship you'll ever form.
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: My relationship is God is better than my relationship with
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: my best friend who happens to be my wife. But
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: guess what I can tell God anything. I might as
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: well tell him he already know. The other thing about
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: him is when my wife ain't around, God can help me.
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: Here's another thing. When you're best friend or the person
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: you think is the coolest in the world don't have
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: an answer for you, God has an answer. So what
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: I'm telling you is one real. This relationship that you
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: fam with God, it'll be the most important relationship you
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: can Now here's the deal. You do not have to
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: go to church to have the relationship. You can start
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: the relationship now now as church good of course it is,
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: especially if you find a good church Bible base. The
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: man up there really love God and can give you
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: some real leadership from scriptures. They can teach you stuff
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: to have Bible study. They got prayer classes, they got everything.
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: You know, they got people that can help you. That's
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: why I'm not knocking that at all. It's very, very important.
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: But here's the deal. You could start a relationship with
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: God right where you are. And I strongly suggest if
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: you haven't found a church that you can find God
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: without a church, you can. He's available. God is out here,
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: He's everywhere. He's in everything. He's in nature, he's in sky,
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: he's in water, he's the creative everything. His presence is real.
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: But here's what you got to do to form relationship
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: with God. I want you to stop allowing people to
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: tell you what God think. Be aware of this. You
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: know God thinks that you don't. Nobody know what God think.
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: This is the first sign that you're talking to somebody
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: who tells you what God think. I can assure you
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: they don't know what he thinks. They don't know who
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: knows what God thinks nobody who knows how he works,
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: Nobody who knows exactly what or how he'll do it, Nobody,
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: Because his ways it's so far above and far away
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: from ours, it's unexplainable at time. That's why when something
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: happens in your life that's unexplainable, when something happens in
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: my life that's unexplainable, that's positive. It's always him because
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: he's unexplainable. Stop allowing people to tell you what God
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: think about you, what God think about your actions, what
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: God think about your ways. Stop allowing them to tell
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: you what God thinks about your path. Stop allowing people
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: to tell you what God thinks about your choices, because
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: guess what they don't know. Form a relationship with God.
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: He'll walk with you, He'll be available to you, he'll
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: share things with you, he'll give you answers. He'll fix it.
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: Ay you, God can do all of this. Man. And look,
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: I'm just telling you as a real dude. I ain't
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: faking the funk with you. I'm just telling you, as
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: a real, imperfect dude, what God can do for you.
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: You need a relationship with God. He is really real.
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: Stop thinking that God has abandoned you. Listen to me.
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: I don't abandon you. If you look at it real close,
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: if you really observe your life, you've turned away from God.
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: If you don't feel God is because you ain't turned
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: on him and called on him. You cannot call on
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: him and he don't show up. He would love to
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: be that for you, but if you never call on him.
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: He is a God that gives us the power of choice.
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: If you choose not to call on him, he does
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: not barge in. God is powerful. Now. God can make
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: us do anything. But he created us in his image
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: with the power of choice. And he will not take
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: that choice from you because he said he would give
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: you that. He said he'd give it to you, so
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: that's what he do. So he's giving you the power
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: of choice. You can decide to have a relationship with him,
- 1:24:10Speaker 1: or you can decide not to have the relationship with him.
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: I strongly suggest that you form this relationship, Steve, Who
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: I do that. Go to a quiet place, in your car,
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: in your bathroom, in your backyard, on your porch somewhere,
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: and say God, I need you, I need you, and
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: just keep whispering his name. Say it out loud. If
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: you can. He comes right away. He comes right away,
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: and then tell him what you want, tell him what's wrong.
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: Pray ain't hard, man. You ain't really got to be
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: on your knees to say a prayer. You could be driving.
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: Form relationship with God. Man. It's really really cool, I'm
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: telling you. And it starts with a simple Hey God,
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: I need you. Starts right there. I'm tired, I can't
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: thank a nothing else. I've done the best I can
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: and I'm out of answers. I need you come to me.
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: Show me how to get to you. That's all you
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: got to do. It's real sick. Just give it a try.
