- 0:01Speaker 1: President Trump and First Lady Milania landed in San Antonio
- 0:05Speaker 1: on Air Force One, and then they flew to Kerrville, Texas,
- 0:09Speaker 1: where the epicenter of the flooding took place, by helicopter.
- 0:12Speaker 1: On Friday, they toured the flood impacted Hill Country area,
- 0:16Speaker 1: an area that I know extremely well, an area that
- 0:18Speaker 1: my family spends a great deal of time there, where
- 0:21Speaker 1: so many people have lost their lives, especially those young children.
- 0:24Speaker 1: There is still searching going on for the bodies. Trump
- 0:28Speaker 1: expressed sorrow for the lives loss, calling the event a
- 0:32Speaker 1: horrible thing, and mourning young angels, especially the children from
- 0:35Speaker 1: Camp Mystic. Milania also received a charm bracelet from the
- 0:40Speaker 1: campers as a symbol of remembrance, which was gut wrenching.
- 0:45Speaker 1: Trump approved an expanded Major Disaster Declaration, extending federal aid
- 0:51Speaker 1: to eight additional counties beyond Kerr County. He praised federal
- 0:55Speaker 1: personnel for responding as fast as anybody has ever seen.
- 1:00Speaker 1: The administration officials also signaled to move away from plans
- 1:04Speaker 1: to abolish FEMA. Instead, they're pursuing major reforms and rebranding,
- 1:08Speaker 1: while emphasizing state led responses are number one. A REFEMA
- 1:13Speaker 1: review Council is said to deliver formal recommendations by November.
- 1:17Speaker 2: Local leaders, by the way.
- 1:19Speaker 1: Including the Kirk County officials, highlighted lapses in early warning
- 1:22Speaker 1: systems and mobile alert coverage. Such failures disproportionately affected areas
- 1:27Speaker 1: like Camp Mystic, where children didn't have cell phones. Trump
- 1:30Speaker 1: acknowledge the need for better warning systems and made it
- 1:34Speaker 1: clear it is something his administration is going to take on.
- 1:37Speaker 1: I want you to hear what the President had to
- 1:39Speaker 1: say in his own words as he was flanked by
- 1:42Speaker 1: the governor of Texas as well as local officials and
- 1:45Speaker 1: the senators from Texas.
- 1:47Speaker 2: Take a listen.
- 1:48Speaker 3: It's hard to believe the devastation. Trees that are one
- 1:50Speaker 3: hundred years old just ripped out of the ground. I've
- 1:54Speaker 3: never seen anything like it. I've seen a lot of
- 1:55Speaker 3: bad wines. I've gone to a lot of hurricanes, a
- 1:58Speaker 3: lot of tornadoes. I've never seen a thing like this.
- 2:02Speaker 3: There's a bad one we just visited with incredible families
- 2:06Speaker 3: that I mean, look, they've been devastated, they lost their
- 2:11Speaker 3: child or two children, and.
- 2:15Speaker 4: Just hard to believe what. I've never seen anything like it.
- 2:18Speaker 3: A little narrow river that becomes a monster, and that's
- 2:22Speaker 3: what happened.
- 2:24Speaker 4: But the first Lady and I are here.
- 2:26Speaker 3: In Texas to express the love and support and the
- 2:31Speaker 3: anguish of our entire nation and the aftermath of this
- 2:34Speaker 3: really horrific and deadly flood. Nobody has any idea how
- 2:41Speaker 3: and why a thing like this could happen. It's and
- 2:46Speaker 3: by the way, I have to tell you the people here,
- 2:48Speaker 3: first responders, the sheriff's office, all of the police, law enforcement,
- 2:52Speaker 3: they've done an unbelievable job. And in speaking to the parents,
- 2:57Speaker 3: they said, to everybody there's been so professional, from the
- 3:01Speaker 3: governor to the senators, all the way down to the
- 3:06Speaker 3: local people on the site that really are a little
- 3:09Speaker 3: bit used to this. They've been looking at this for years,
- 3:12Speaker 3: but in much smaller doses, in a much much smaller doses.
- 3:17Speaker 3: Twelve years ago and then nineteen thirty two they had
- 3:20Speaker 3: a real bad one.
- 3:21Speaker 4: But that bad one was half of what this was.
- 3:24Speaker 3: But I was speaking to some of the great people
- 3:28Speaker 3: in the town and they said, no, every year we
- 3:30Speaker 3: get a little bit, but it was like a little
- 3:32Speaker 3: bit of a flood, right, you were telling me, And
- 3:34Speaker 3: it was just a flood. We get used to it.
- 3:37Speaker 3: We had people we took care of it, and this
- 3:40Speaker 3: year it was like what's going on?
- 3:43Speaker 4: Right?
- 3:45Speaker 3: So all across the country, American's hearts they shattered. I
- 3:48Speaker 3: had to be here as president. First lady wanted to
- 3:50Speaker 3: be here, and all the beautiful souls, and we're filled
- 3:56Speaker 3: with grief and devastation. It is the loss of life.
- 4:01Speaker 3: And unfortunately they're still looking. They're still looking. There's a
- 4:04Speaker 3: lot of missing children, possibly mostly we don't know. But
- 4:09Speaker 3: they're still looking and they'll find everybody. But it's not
- 4:15Speaker 3: an easy thing. You would think it would be easy.
- 4:18Speaker 3: It's very tough. I looked at what they're going through,
- 4:21Speaker 3: what they have to do, but dozens and dozens of
- 4:24Speaker 3: precious children taken from us.
- 4:27Speaker 4: With such right.
- 4:29Speaker 3: I looked at the pictures of almost all of them,
- 4:32Speaker 3: and it's terrible. Following a torrential downpour, the worst that
- 4:37Speaker 3: anyone's ever seen, Guadalupe River rows twenty six feet and
- 4:44Speaker 3: less than forty five minutes, and I've even heard it
- 4:47Speaker 3: when well over thirty feet.
- 4:48Speaker 4: There's one sorry that one.
- 4:51Speaker 3: Person said it had to be sixty feet.
- 4:52Speaker 4: At one moment.
- 4:54Speaker 3: This is like a giant, giant wave in the Pacific
- 4:57Speaker 3: Ocean that the best surfa in the world would be
- 5:01Speaker 3: afraid to surf and it at least stay catastrophic flooding
- 5:05Speaker 3: as the most most residents were asleep in their beds.
- 5:10Speaker 4: And very dark evening. The waters claimed at least one.
- 5:15Speaker 3: Hundred and thirty five one hundred and forty lives. They're
- 5:19Speaker 3: getting that count, but the count that they don't have
- 5:22Speaker 3: is how many are still missing.
- 5:24Speaker 4: With a lot of lives, a lot of young angels.
- 5:28Speaker 3: At the girls Christian summer camp known as Camp Mystic,
- 5:32Speaker 3: Legendary Camp, a camp that people would want to go.
- 5:36Speaker 4: To from all over the country.
- 5:37Speaker 3: People parents, they come and they would.
- 5:40Speaker 4: Stay with their children.
- 5:41Speaker 3: They'd stay in other cabins just to be with their children,
- 5:44Speaker 3: but the Legendary Place. They were there because they loved God.
- 5:50Speaker 3: And as we grieve this unthinkable tragedy, we take comfort
- 5:54Speaker 3: in the knowledge that God has welcomed those little beautiful
- 5:58Speaker 3: girls into His comforting arms in heaven.
- 6:02Speaker 4: We believe that. I have to believe that, and we do.
- 6:07Speaker 3: And we lost some wonderful people beyond the little girls
- 6:10Speaker 3: who lost some very brave men and women that tried
- 6:14Speaker 3: to save the girls.
- 6:17Speaker 4: Is our nation. We mourn for.
- 6:21Speaker 3: Every single life that was swept away in the flood,
- 6:23Speaker 3: and we pray for the families that are left behind.
- 6:27Speaker 3: It's amazing the incredible spirit from those families.
- 6:32Speaker 4: I don't know. I don't even know.
- 6:35Speaker 3: How they do it, but moments ago, Malaney and I
- 6:40Speaker 3: spent a.
- 6:40Speaker 4: Lot of time with them. That's why we're little late.
- 6:43Speaker 3: I think this was a good reason to be late, Frankly,
- 6:46Speaker 3: and we just gave our warmest condolences. But you say
- 6:50Speaker 3: to yourself, you know, how do you give condolences? How
- 6:53Speaker 3: do you do that to young person that three days
- 6:58Speaker 3: ago was here, four days ago was here and vibrant,
- 7:01Speaker 3: and now is no longer here. The search for the
- 7:05Speaker 3: missing continues. The people that are doing it are unbelievable
- 7:09Speaker 3: people that you couldn't get better people than this anywhere, Christy,
- 7:12Speaker 3: right anywhere in the world. You couldn't get better people.
- 7:17Speaker 3: And they're doing the job like I don't think anybody
- 7:20Speaker 3: else could, Frankly, and I want to thank them. I
- 7:23Speaker 3: want to thank all of these great URST responders who
- 7:26Speaker 3: raced into very grave danger. We have some people that
- 7:31Speaker 3: were incredible. The single Coastguard rescue crew saved an incredible
- 7:37Speaker 3: one hundred and sixty nine children at camp missed it
- 7:40Speaker 3: one hundred and sixty nine.
- 7:42Speaker 1: Some incredible stories again one hundred and sixty nine save
- 7:45Speaker 1: that one is a great example. And the present sitting
- 7:48Speaker 1: there talking in Curville, Texas about the heroic work that's
- 7:52Speaker 1: being done by the first responders. I also just want
- 7:55Speaker 1: to take a moment and say, if you can't give,
- 7:58Speaker 1: if you can help the people that all everything Hunt
- 8:01Speaker 1: in Kirk Kerrville, Kirk County, there are a lot of
- 8:04Speaker 1: great charities that are doing amazing work down there. Please
- 8:07Speaker 1: get involved if you can and give. It is so important.
- 8:11Speaker 1: I want you to hear more of what the President
- 8:13Speaker 1: had to say about those that had been so influenid
- 8:15Speaker 1: on the community and those he wanted to meet in
- 8:18Speaker 1: person and who had already met with.
- 8:20Speaker 2: Will continue what the President had to say in Kerrville and.
- 8:23Speaker 3: John Dunn, the owner of the Hunt store, was a
- 8:26Speaker 3: flood where okay good. We spoke a little while ago
- 8:31Speaker 3: and it's sort of Jean was telling me some stories
- 8:35Speaker 3: about that store and it was just really amazing.
- 8:37Speaker 5: Yes, mister President, First, let me correct. I was owner
- 8:42Speaker 5: of the Huts store from twenty thirteen till April of
- 8:45Speaker 5: last year, where I actually sold the store to Haley
- 8:48Speaker 5: and b. B.
- 8:48Speaker 4: Lahirman, who are.
- 8:50Speaker 5: Excellent operators, and they're on the ground right now in
- 8:52Speaker 5: Hunt leading the effort there together with the entire department,
- 8:56Speaker 5: the churches, the schools, what have you, and they're doing
- 9:00Speaker 5: a phenomenal job, which my role in it is had
- 9:03Speaker 5: seller finance the deal and you're.
- 9:06Speaker 4: Going to bring it back. I'm absolutely going to bring
- 9:08Speaker 4: it back. And new walls are up. Two walls are up,
- 9:11Speaker 4: and there's.
- 9:12Speaker 5: There's belief out there that it was a total loss.
- 9:15Speaker 4: It's it's not.
- 9:17Speaker 5: A gentleman by the name of Larry Graham put up
- 9:19Speaker 5: some incredible walls in nineteen seventy three and he's a
- 9:23Speaker 5: great engineer, and those walls are still standing. Save the walls.
- 9:27Speaker 5: Save the walls. And the goal is and I think
- 9:30Speaker 5: we can get it done. Between Haylee Bb, myself and
- 9:33Speaker 5: some outside help that we're going to be getting, I
- 9:36Speaker 5: think we're going to get it reopened very quickly.
- 9:38Speaker 4: Good.
- 9:39Speaker 5: I think it's important to get it opened quickly because
- 9:42Speaker 5: once we do, the community can can get back to
- 9:44Speaker 5: a sense of normalcy. I think it'll be good for
- 9:47Speaker 5: the community. I think will accelerate the recovery process. There's
- 9:52Speaker 5: a lot that has to be done, but I'm impressed
- 9:55Speaker 5: and very pleased with the resources that I think are
- 9:57Speaker 5: going to become available through the conversations with Roy, govern
- 10:01Speaker 5: her Habit's office and others, but that we will get
- 10:03Speaker 5: it done quickly.
- 10:04Speaker 3: Yes, thanks John, good luck with it, Okay, I'm sure
- 10:06Speaker 3: you will. The search for the missing is continuing, as
- 10:09Speaker 3: you know. And today I especially want to thank all
- 10:12Speaker 3: of these incredible people from the Coast Guard, and you'll
- 10:15Speaker 3: give my regards in particular to some of the people
- 10:18Speaker 3: we mentioned. Every American should be inspired by what's taken
- 10:22Speaker 3: place during this short period of time. And I want
- 10:25Speaker 3: to thank Governor Abbott. He's an amazing guy. We come
- 10:30Speaker 3: very very close politically and personally, and we've had a
- 10:35Speaker 3: tremendous relationship with Texas. I guess Texas brought us together.
- 10:40Speaker 3: We were together fine, but now we're together a lot more.
- 10:42Speaker 3: And I want to thank Cecilia, your great wife, who's
- 10:46Speaker 3: been our friend for a long time. The job you
- 10:50Speaker 3: do is really incredible in so many different ways, including
- 10:53Speaker 3: with the border and every different way.
- 10:56Speaker 4: Admired by everybody.
- 10:57Speaker 3: Secretary is Christino Brooke, Rolins, Scott Turner, and Administrator Kelly
- 11:03Speaker 3: Loffler or they all wanted to be here.
- 11:06Speaker 4: Some of them hopped in the plane with me.
- 11:08Speaker 3: Senators John Cornyn and Ted Cruz, you're here among us,
- 11:12Speaker 3: and thank you very much, our great Lieutenant Governor. I
- 11:15Speaker 3: see you sitting there. I don't know they even have
- 11:18Speaker 3: your name now, but when I'm here, your name is
- 11:20Speaker 3: now right. He's doing a good job, always did, always did.
- 11:25Speaker 3: Also numerous members of Congress, including Chip Roy from the
- 11:30Speaker 3: district This is Chip's district. I had a lot of
- 11:34Speaker 3: time last week we spent with Chip Roy getting that great, big,
- 11:37Speaker 3: beautiful bill passed.
- 11:38Speaker 4: And who would have thought and he's not easy, but
- 11:43Speaker 4: he's good. Where is he? Wors Chip? Who would have
- 11:47Speaker 4: thought this was going to happen?
- 11:48Speaker 3: And he called because we had a big ceremony set up,
- 11:51Speaker 3: and he said, you know, we have a little bit
- 11:53Speaker 3: of a flood here and I think it's going to
- 11:54Speaker 3: be a little bit. I better stay here, better not
- 11:56Speaker 3: come back and go to it.
- 11:58Speaker 4: And he wanted to be there. He was a part
- 11:59Speaker 4: of it, part of it.
- 12:01Speaker 3: And then he called again and he said, this is bad.
- 12:04Speaker 3: And then it got really bad, far beyond your worst
- 12:08Speaker 3: wildest imagination. Right, So thank you very much. Ship, I
- 12:13Speaker 3: appreciate it. And Brian Babin also is. I don't know
- 12:16Speaker 3: Brian's here, but we do have and I have to
- 12:19Speaker 3: just give some of the names because it's very unusual.
- 12:23Speaker 4: Nathaniel Moran, Dan Crenshaw.
- 12:27Speaker 3: All of these people wanted to be here, Keith Self,
- 12:32Speaker 3: Jake Elsie, August Flugger, Craig Goldman, Ronnie Jackson, where are you?
- 12:38Speaker 4: People? Are you here? You're all here? Where's Ronnie Jackson?
- 12:41Speaker 4: Ronnie Jackson? What a person? Every one of these people
- 12:45Speaker 4: is so incredible.
- 12:47Speaker 3: Randy Weber, Pete Sessions, Tony Gonzalez. Well, we have everybody,
- 12:54Speaker 3: Beth van Dine, Hi, Beth Hi, Beth, Roger Williams, Brandon Gill, Hi,
- 13:01Speaker 3: Roger Brandon, you're here, Yes, thanks Brandon, doing a good job, Brandon,
- 13:07Speaker 3: Michael Cloud, John Carter, and Wesley Hunt.
- 13:13Speaker 4: And we have others. But I'm not We just we
- 13:17Speaker 4: have to get on with it.
- 13:18Speaker 3: But I did want to ask Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick.
- 13:23Speaker 4: He's been my friend from the beginning.
- 13:25Speaker 3: He's been the chairman of all three of my campaigns,
- 13:27Speaker 3: and all I know is we won by record amount,
- 13:30Speaker 3: so I guess you were pretty good chairman. Right, Dan
- 13:33Speaker 3: and his son is fantastic too. But right, Dan and
- 13:37Speaker 3: his son is fantastic too. But Attorney General Ken Paxton,
- 13:40Speaker 3: Ken's around here someplace, Hi, Ken. And Director of the
- 13:46Speaker 3: Texas Department of Public Safety Freeman, Martin Freeman, thank you
- 13:51Speaker 3: very much.
- 13:51Speaker 4: You're doing an amazing job.
- 13:54Speaker 3: Texas Chief Emergency Management nim Kid, thank you, thank you
- 13:59Speaker 3: very much. Thank you for greeting us to Major General
- 14:03Speaker 3: Thomas Seltzer of the Texas Military Department.
- 14:07Speaker 4: Thomas, great job, Thank you, really good job. And many
- 14:10Speaker 4: of the officials and everybody is here. You know, it's amazing.
- 14:15Speaker 3: I do these things and often you don't have you
- 14:19Speaker 3: just don't have a turnout like this.
- 14:21Speaker 4: Half of government is here. But my administration is doing
- 14:24Speaker 4: everything ins power to help Texas, and I can tell you.
- 14:27Speaker 3: That, and the governor will be the first to tell
- 14:30Speaker 3: you that. When the request was made for the emergency funds, Christy,
- 14:35Speaker 3: I think we gave it within about two minutes maybe less,
- 14:38Speaker 3: and they had everything they needed right right immediately. So
- 14:41Speaker 3: we've deployed over four hundred first responders and assisted or
- 14:45Speaker 3: enabled more than fifteen hundred rescues.
- 14:49Speaker 4: Amazing, fifteen hundred Customers.
- 14:51Speaker 3: And Border Protection and the US Coast Guard have deployed
- 14:54Speaker 3: numerous search and rescue crews and they're all over the
- 14:58Speaker 3: territory and trauma teams and beyond this area. You know,
- 15:02Speaker 3: the governor was saying, we have we've got a little
- 15:05Speaker 3: bit beyond this area. Or there's doctor Phil. Look at
- 15:08Speaker 3: doctor Phil. You look in good Phil. This is a
- 15:11Speaker 3: hell of a situation, isn't huh. FEMA has deployed multiple
- 15:16Speaker 3: emergency response units, and THEMA has been really headed by
- 15:19Speaker 3: some very good people. There's some good people running FEM.
- 15:22Speaker 3: It's about time, right we get some good ones. They
- 15:25Speaker 3: failed us in North Carolina, but when we got in
- 15:27Speaker 3: in January twentieth, they fixed.
- 15:29Speaker 4: It up in no time.
- 15:31Speaker 3: And the Army Corps of Engineers is always around and
- 15:35Speaker 3: always strong and brilliant. We're also taking historic action to
- 15:40Speaker 3: ensure that such a nightmare never happens again. And we're
- 15:43Speaker 3: going to look and see how the thing like this
- 15:45Speaker 3: they could say it's one hundred year, if somebody says
- 15:47Speaker 3: it's a five hundred year event, it doesn't. We're not
- 15:49Speaker 3: going to let a thing like this happen again where
- 15:53Speaker 3: it can wreak this.
- 15:53Speaker 4: Kind of devastation.
- 15:55Speaker 3: Earlier this year, I directed a sweeping review of the
- 15:58Speaker 3: preparedness and critical infrastructure. I think again, I have to
- 16:03Speaker 3: say whenever I say that, I have to say that
- 16:06Speaker 3: the level of professionalism was incredible.
- 16:09Speaker 4: But we'll all work together to.
- 16:10Speaker 3: Find out exactly what can be done because they do
- 16:13Speaker 3: want to rebuild and they're going to I just want
- 16:16Speaker 3: to say, we have a wonderful First Lady, and she's
- 16:20Speaker 3: done a great job as First Lady.
- 16:23Speaker 4: And she really a very special woman.
- 16:27Speaker 3: When she saw what and met the people that we
- 16:30Speaker 3: met just a little while ago, it's very devastating.
- 16:32Speaker 4: And would you like to say a few words, Honny.
- 16:35Speaker 6: My deepest sympathy to all of the parents who lost
- 16:39Speaker 6: beautiful young souls. Deepest sympathy from all of us to
- 16:45Speaker 6: the community, to everybody who lost the loved one. We
- 16:50Speaker 6: are grieving with you, Our nation is grieving with you.
- 16:55Speaker 6: We just met with the wonderful families. We pray with
- 16:59Speaker 6: the weg we hold hands.
- 17:04Speaker 1: The President and the First Lady there talking about what
- 17:07Speaker 1: they've seen, the devastation, how they're just trying to be
- 17:12Speaker 1: around and be there for the people that are need
- 17:15Speaker 1: talking about just what a tragedy this is, but also
- 17:19Speaker 1: how the community has come together. We're going to have
- 17:22Speaker 1: more on this obviously and keep you update on what's
- 17:25Speaker 1: happening in Kirk County, but it was important, I think,
- 17:28Speaker 1: for the President to be there all the others that
- 17:30Speaker 1: he mentioned and helping the people with.
- 17:32Speaker 2: Whatever it is they need. Want to move on to
- 17:35Speaker 2: something else.
- 17:37Speaker 1: We are also hearing now from the White House, and
- 17:39Speaker 1: this is a very big move that should make many
- 17:41Speaker 1: of you extremely excited that now illegal immigrants are barred
- 17:46Speaker 1: from Headstart in other federal government programs which we're clearly
- 17:51Speaker 1: enticing them to come to the United States of America.
- 17:54Speaker 1: Immigrants who are in the country illegally will no longer,
- 17:57Speaker 1: the White House said, be allowed to access the head
- 18:00Speaker 1: Start early childhood education programs for their children. Many of
- 18:03Speaker 1: them use it as childcare, daycare, as well as other
- 18:06Speaker 1: federal programs that you and I are paying for. The
- 18:09Speaker 1: Department of Health and Human Services, Agriculture, and Labor all
- 18:14Speaker 1: came through and said they have issued notice to the
- 18:16Speaker 1: relevant program partners under their War Watch to clarify the
- 18:20Speaker 1: administration's interpretation of what falls under federal public benefit.
- 18:25Speaker 2: The Wall Street Journal.
- 18:26Speaker 1: Is reporting, according to the HHS guidelines, people in the
- 18:30Speaker 1: United States of America illegally will be barred not only
- 18:34Speaker 1: from sending their children to head Start, but but will
- 18:37Speaker 1: also be denied access to other programs, including Assistance for
- 18:41Speaker 1: the homeless, Title nine, family planning, mental health services, and
- 18:46Speaker 1: substance abuse treatment. Why should we be paying for people
- 18:50Speaker 1: for people to go to these things outside of the
- 18:52Speaker 1: United States of America that have broken into this country now.
- 18:56Speaker 1: At discussing the issue, the Health and Human Services Secretary RFK.
- 18:59Speaker 1: Junior said he is resending an interpretation of the nineteen
- 19:04Speaker 1: ninety six Personal Responsibility and Work Opportunity Reconciliation Act, which
- 19:09Speaker 1: improperly extended certain federal benefits to illegal immigrants. What has
- 19:14Speaker 1: happened is now that is enticing people to come across
- 19:17Speaker 1: our borders illegally because once they get here, they get
- 19:20Speaker 1: so much aid from our government after they break in.
- 19:24Speaker 1: While immigrants who do not have legal status do not
- 19:27Speaker 1: qualify for quote.
- 19:28Speaker 2: Most federal benefits.
- 19:30Speaker 1: Many of the programs affected have not been asking their
- 19:32Speaker 1: participants about their immigration status, so that's why so many
- 19:37Speaker 1: illegal immigrants are on food stamps and other things like that.
- 19:40Speaker 1: They qualify them not by ascident if they're an illegal,
- 19:43Speaker 1: but through income and quote other verification methods. That's how
- 19:48Speaker 1: the system has become abused and broken. Now the new
- 19:51Speaker 1: policy is set to take effect immediately, an HHS spokesman
- 19:55Speaker 1: said the Department of Agriculture, pointing to guidance issued in April,
- 20:00Speaker 1: we ought to prohibit immigrants who are in the United
- 20:02Speaker 1: States illegally from also getting US food stamps, affirms its
- 20:06Speaker 1: position that they quote should not receive government dollars. Again,
- 20:11Speaker 1: it entices people to break our laws. Shortly after taking office,
- 20:16Speaker 1: President Trump directed agencies to identify relevant programs and issued
- 20:20Speaker 1: an executive order to prevent immigrants in the US without
- 20:25Speaker 1: legal permission from getting benefits funded by the taxpayers. This is,
- 20:29Speaker 1: by the way, what I and so many other Americans
- 20:31Speaker 1: actually voted for, and then in negotiations over the Trump
- 20:34Speaker 1: sponsored megabills signed to law July fourth, the White House
- 20:38Speaker 1: promise that the president would use more executive actions aimed
- 20:42Speaker 1: at illegal immigration to make sure that your tax dollars
- 20:46Speaker 1: are not going to illegals. Now I'm in favor of this.
- 20:48Speaker 1: This is why I voted for Trump. This is why
- 20:50Speaker 1: I supported Trump. This is why millions and millions of
- 20:52Speaker 1: Americans voted for Trump and they shouldn't back down on
- 20:55Speaker 1: this at all. Okay, like this should be one hundred
- 20:59Speaker 1: percent happening period, one hundred percent happening period.
- 21:06Speaker 2: Game over.
- 21:07Speaker 3: Now.
- 21:07Speaker 1: Let me also just say one more thing. The left
- 21:09Speaker 1: has already started this. They're saying that these moves are
- 21:12Speaker 1: gonna be U Republicans. There's gonna be hell to pay
- 21:14Speaker 1: for this in the elections, and the kids are gonna
- 21:16Speaker 1: die and people are gonna starve to death. A.
- 21:19Speaker 2: That's not gonna happen. B.
- 21:21Speaker 1: If you can't survive here because you're breaking the laws
- 21:24Speaker 1: and we're calling you out for it, then let me
- 21:28Speaker 1: also say this.
- 21:29Speaker 2: You can go back to the country you came from.
- 21:32Speaker 1: If your life is so bad that you're going to
- 21:33Speaker 1: quote unquote starve to death, as Democrats are going to say,
- 21:36Speaker 1: because the American people are not going to pay for
- 21:38Speaker 1: your food when you broke into our country, then you
- 21:42Speaker 1: can go home to the country that you came from.
- 21:47Speaker 2: That is not meant to be mean. That is the
- 21:51Speaker 2: reality of the situation.
- 21:55Speaker 1: And I am so tired of the left every time
- 21:58Speaker 1: you try to have on earth like oh well, it's
- 21:59Speaker 1: gonna die. People are gonna die. Everybody's gonna die. All
- 22:02Speaker 1: the people are gonna die. Everybody's gonna die. Like no,
- 22:05Speaker 1: that's not how this works. We need to have law
- 22:09Speaker 1: and order. Let me just remind you of just how many,
- 22:13Speaker 1: as Donald Trump would put it, bad ombras that there
- 22:16Speaker 1: are out there in this country among us because of
- 22:19Speaker 1: a wide open southern border. There was a new warning
- 22:24Speaker 1: that came from Tom Homan on the arrest of an
- 22:27Speaker 1: MS thirteen not just gang member, but a kingpin in Nebraska,
- 22:33Speaker 1: Perez on El Salvador's one hundred most wanted list. This
- 22:39Speaker 1: is how bad of a guy this is is one
- 22:41Speaker 1: of those that came into the country illegally. And Tom
- 22:44Speaker 1: Homan reminding people what's happening right now in America.
- 22:48Speaker 2: This isnt a border state, it's Nebraska.
- 22:50Speaker 1: If you don't believe me, go look at a damn
- 22:51Speaker 1: map and see where Nebraska is. And if you think
- 22:54Speaker 1: that illegal immigrants are only on the southern border and
- 22:57Speaker 1: MS thirteen gang members and trains Larraga gang members only
- 23:00Speaker 1: at the border, you are wrong. They have set up
- 23:03Speaker 1: shop in every state in America, and Nebraska is a
- 23:06Speaker 1: pretty far distance from the border.
- 23:08Speaker 2: Listen to this all.
- 23:10Speaker 7: Right, back to the breaking news that we brought you
- 23:12Speaker 7: earlier this hour, ICE agents arrested an MS thirteen kingpin
- 23:16Speaker 7: in Nebraska. He has now been identified as Melvin Virella Perez.
- 23:21Speaker 4: He has been on El.
- 23:22Speaker 7: Salvador's most wanted list for nearly a decade, but was
- 23:26Speaker 7: somehow released into the United States after he crossed the
- 23:29Speaker 7: border illegally in twenty twenty three. Let's bring in white
- 23:32Speaker 7: House borders are Tom Homan. Tom, let me just put
- 23:35Speaker 7: up the record here of this guy that somehow got missed.
- 23:38Speaker 7: First of all, here's the mugshot from his arrest in Oklahoma.
- 23:43Speaker 7: In Oklahoma, now here is the our Omaha, Nebraska start.
- 23:48Speaker 7: Here is the picture from twenty sixteen. This was put
- 23:52Speaker 7: out by the National Police. He's on the top one
- 23:55Speaker 7: hundred Los one hundred mas Buscados. Then here's another notice
- 23:59Speaker 7: from twenty nineteen looking for the same guy, and another
- 24:03Speaker 7: one from twenty nineteen that was put out by crime
- 24:06Speaker 7: stoppers looking for this guy. And yet somehow, Tom, when
- 24:10Speaker 7: he came across the border illegally in twenty twenty three, he.
- 24:14Speaker 4: Was paroled into the country. How in the world could
- 24:18Speaker 4: that have happened?
- 24:21Speaker 8: Well, look This is just one example of what I've
- 24:23Speaker 8: been saying for the last four years. The Biden administration
- 24:26Speaker 8: lights and American people when they said everybody they released.
- 24:29Speaker 4: In the country is properly vetted. They weren't.
- 24:32Speaker 3: No.
- 24:32Speaker 8: I know, you know, first of all, we don't have
- 24:34Speaker 8: access to other countries criminal data. But as you said,
- 24:37Speaker 8: this was the public information and this has been easily found.
- 24:40Speaker 8: But this administration their main focus. Under Biden administration, Borbito
- 24:45Speaker 8: had one directive process quick release quick because if there's
- 24:49Speaker 8: no overcrowding, we can keep claiming.
- 24:51Speaker 4: The border secure.
- 24:52Speaker 8: And we got control of everything, and they kept lying
- 24:55Speaker 8: to American people everybody releases vetted. I can't tell you
- 24:58Speaker 8: how many criminals under the t Open administration we have.
- 25:01Speaker 8: We have arrested and deported that were released in the
- 25:04Speaker 8: country by Joe Biden saying they were vetted. We have
- 25:07Speaker 8: rested murders, people that wanted to they were convicted murder
- 25:09Speaker 8: in other countries. If you had murder warrants in other countries,
- 25:13Speaker 8: people had sexual assaults in other countries, people have sexual
- 25:16Speaker 8: assaults here that they weren't problem during the betting process
- 25:20Speaker 8: because they weren't vetted. The last administration lied, and that's
- 25:22Speaker 8: why we're so busy right now going across the country trying.
- 25:26Speaker 4: To find these bills.
- 25:27Speaker 7: All right, so I could go you one better on
- 25:29Speaker 7: this Melvin Virella Paraz So he was nailed in Omaha
- 25:33Speaker 7: with another guy named Renee Escobar Ochoa.
- 25:36Speaker 4: We'll put his picture up on the screen for you.
- 25:38Speaker 7: This guy had an interpole red notice against him for
- 25:43Speaker 7: drug trafficking and conspiracy to commit murder. He had an
- 25:47Speaker 7: interpole notice against him.
- 25:49Speaker 4: And that got missed. How does that happen? In confidence?
- 25:54Speaker 8: I mean it incomments from last administration, they're directive to
- 25:59Speaker 8: how more orbitual process and releases with role proper betting.
- 26:02Speaker 8: And also, let's remember Ice was told by second TERMI
- 26:06Speaker 8: Orchis you can't arrest it for some of them and
- 26:08Speaker 8: her Illegeralis, they probably weren't even looking in this person
- 26:10Speaker 8: unless you had a serious criminal conviction. Not a warrant,
- 26:13Speaker 8: not a want, but a conviction. So look at the
- 26:16Speaker 8: last administration. They totally screwed it up, from releasing people
- 26:19Speaker 8: from the Board of non vetting to tying ICE's hands.
- 26:22Speaker 8: We had a record number ten point five minute illegal
- 26:25Speaker 8: amags come.
- 26:25Speaker 2: To our border and Joe Biden.
- 26:27Speaker 8: ICE had the lowest numbers of arresting movements in the
- 26:29Speaker 8: history of the agency because her hands were tied. And
- 26:32Speaker 8: that's why we're working so hard under President Trump, under
- 26:35Speaker 8: his leadership, we're working so hard right now sending as
- 26:38Speaker 8: many teams out in the communities as possible to look
- 26:41Speaker 8: for these criminals that the last administration released in this country.
- 26:44Speaker 8: And that's why we're so busy right now. That's why
- 26:46Speaker 8: you see all the teams out in every major city
- 26:48Speaker 8: in the nation.
- 26:50Speaker 1: You know, this kills the narrative that somebody in the
- 26:52Speaker 1: left in the media are trying to do is saying, oh,
- 26:54Speaker 1: there's no bad people, They're all just good people.
- 26:57Speaker 4: Look.
- 26:57Speaker 2: ICE agents.
- 27:00Speaker 1: Arresting two more migrants with m asserteen ties in Nebraska.
- 27:04Speaker 1: We're just hearing about right now the US Immigration Customer
- 27:07Speaker 1: Enforcement agents today and I just got this SENTI me
- 27:11Speaker 1: arrested two alleged members the Amstertein Game and Gang in.
- 27:14Speaker 2: Omaha, Nebraska.
- 27:15Speaker 1: They're accused of giving orders to fellow gang members to
- 27:18Speaker 1: commit a variety of crimes, including multiple homicides, multiple extortion plots.
- 27:23Speaker 2: Imprisonment, and drug trafficking.
- 27:25Speaker 1: According to the newest release, the ICE release says they
- 27:29Speaker 1: are criminal aliens and hemiserteen gang members and foreign terrorists
- 27:33Speaker 1: also now wanted in El Salvador.
- 27:35Speaker 2: So it's not just the one guy that you heard about.
- 27:37Speaker 2: There's more.
- 27:38Speaker 1: ICE did not release the names of the men taking
- 27:41Speaker 1: into Kassi.
- 27:41Speaker 2: The law enforcement agency.
- 27:42Speaker 1: Said these are more high ranking members who are also
- 27:48Speaker 1: on El Salvador's top one hundred most wanted fugitives. I
- 27:53Speaker 1: was yesterday on Fox Business channel talking about a movie,
- 27:58Speaker 1: the New Superman movie. It's coming out, and the New
- 28:01Speaker 1: Superman movie is all about wokeness. It is all about
- 28:05Speaker 1: saying that Superman, I'm not joking, is an illegal immigrant,
- 28:09Speaker 1: but a do gooder who's just doing good So therefore,
- 28:11Speaker 1: why should anybody not wanted to be in this country.
- 28:14Speaker 1: I'm not joking. This is actually what they're saying in
- 28:16Speaker 1: the movie. There are scenes about this, like He's like,
- 28:19Speaker 1: but I'm just a good guy doing good things, trying
- 28:21Speaker 1: to imply that only people, the only people that come
- 28:24Speaker 1: across the Southern border are good people. Well, I want
- 28:28Speaker 1: you to hear what I had to say on Fox
- 28:29Speaker 1: Business about this new movie and why you shouldn't go
- 28:32Speaker 1: see Superman because all you're gonna do is be supporting
- 28:35Speaker 1: this liberal crap.
- 28:36Speaker 2: Love the fact that you've got a movie that's coming.
- 28:39Speaker 9: Out that they want everyone to go see that was
- 28:43Speaker 9: made for everyone. But it's just a lecture for a
- 28:46Speaker 9: couple hours on why half the country sucks and we
- 28:50Speaker 9: hate you if you voted for Donald Trump and you
- 28:52Speaker 9: want law and order in America, because remember, no bad
- 28:55Speaker 9: people ever come across the border. Right, He's a good
- 28:58Speaker 9: guy in his own words, there, super I'm a good guy.
- 29:02Speaker 2: What are they trying to do? This is political propaganda
- 29:04Speaker 2: one on one.
- 29:05Speaker 9: They're trying to imply that everyone that comes across the
- 29:07Speaker 9: southern border or the northern border is a good guy,
- 29:10Speaker 9: and we just love everyone. Look, I love everyone as
- 29:13Speaker 9: long as you're not a rapist, a child molester, selling
- 29:16Speaker 9: illegal drugs, putting fentanyl into this country. Like, give me
- 29:20Speaker 9: a nice list that I can add to it, and
- 29:22Speaker 9: I'll sing your Kumbaya with you.
- 29:24Speaker 2: But I can promise you this, There are.
- 29:26Speaker 9: A lot of people like me that aren't gonna go
- 29:29Speaker 9: get a lecture for two hours from a fake superman
- 29:31Speaker 9: from Hollywood.
- 29:32Speaker 2: So good luck with your movie. Look at the f
- 29:34Speaker 2: one movie that just came out. I went and saw
- 29:36Speaker 2: it last night. Guess what. There was no lecture.
- 29:38Speaker 1: There was no lecture. By the way, in F one,
- 29:40Speaker 1: there's no immigration narrative. There's no Superman's a good guy
- 29:43Speaker 1: and he's an illegal immigrant. This is where the Democrats
- 29:46Speaker 1: are using Hollywood yet again to try to change the
- 29:50Speaker 1: narrative on everything else. Don't forget share this podcast please
- 29:54Speaker 1: with your family and your friends wherever they are, and
- 29:58Speaker 1: I will see you back here tomorrow.
