- 1:43Speaker 1: turn them out to turn the water the water go.
- 1:55Speaker 1: Come come on your back that Uh huh, I shore
- 2:02Speaker 1: will a good morning everybody, y'all listening to the voice,
- 2:06Speaker 1: come on dig me now, one and only Steve Harvey
- 2:10Speaker 1: got a radio show. Man, oh man, oh man, God
- 2:15Speaker 1: being good to me. Man. I can't explain it all really,
- 2:19Speaker 1: you know, I want, I want to remind everybody or
- 2:21Speaker 1: something that I need reminding of myself all the time.
- 2:25Speaker 1: And I'm I'm dealing with a couple of things now
- 2:29Speaker 1: and I had to remind myself. Uh you know what
- 2:32Speaker 1: I have to remember to constantly remind myself to stay
- 2:37Speaker 1: in constant communication with God. Constant communication with God. You
- 2:43Speaker 1: know sometimes you know, I have a tendency and maybe
- 2:46Speaker 1: we do. All these people I don't know, but I
- 2:48Speaker 1: know for me, that when it's going okay, I slack
- 2:53Speaker 1: up in sometimes having conversations with him because I'm not
- 2:57Speaker 1: coming to him on the daily with something that's pressing
- 2:59Speaker 1: or something, and I find myself slacking up in the communication.
- 3:05Speaker 1: The danger I have learned in that is this, um
- 3:09Speaker 1: I think you know, I mean, we've all heard old
- 3:12Speaker 1: people say, you know, you got to stay prayed up,
- 3:14Speaker 1: you know, and prayed up. It's the operative word that
- 3:19Speaker 1: means stacks stacked, prayers up. You know, prayed up means
- 3:24Speaker 1: you know you you got some stored up. You just
- 3:26Speaker 1: got an abundance of them where you don't. You're putting
- 3:29Speaker 1: it in actually not as a request all the time,
- 3:33Speaker 1: but sometimes just as a matter thank you, a gratitude.
- 3:37Speaker 1: Sometimes it's just, uh, you know, just just just prayers
- 3:41Speaker 1: to get stored up, is basically what I'm saying. Because
- 3:44Speaker 1: what happens is is when you're not in constant communication
- 3:48Speaker 1: with God, when you're not constantly praying doing those good times,
- 3:53Speaker 1: that allows for the enemy to slip in and do
- 3:58Speaker 1: the little things that can be upset it. It don't
- 4:01Speaker 1: have to be nothing big. See, the enemy comes in
- 4:05Speaker 1: with the little things that become upsetting to us some
- 4:09Speaker 1: little things and then the next thing you know it,
- 4:11Speaker 1: you get several little things in a role. Now you
- 4:14Speaker 1: got an issue you dealing with. You find yourself at
- 4:18Speaker 1: odds with your spouse about little bitty little stuff. You
- 4:22Speaker 1: ever noticed that, or your girl or your man, you
- 4:25Speaker 1: find yourself at odds with them about little bitty stuff.
- 4:29Speaker 1: You know, I have to remind myself when it's going
- 4:31Speaker 1: like that, Man, Have I really been praying though? Have
- 4:34Speaker 1: I really been in constant communication with God? Because you
- 4:38Speaker 1: know that that helps God against that little bitty stuff
- 4:42Speaker 1: coming in. Sometimes it's big stuff, sometimes it's major stuff.
- 4:46Speaker 1: But I've noticed, man, that when I get on them
- 4:49Speaker 1: more of a smooth plane in life, I have a
- 4:52Speaker 1: tendency to slack up in that department. And that ain't
- 4:56Speaker 1: the time to slack up. I'm really learning that I
- 5:00Speaker 1: have to stay in constant communication with God because it
- 5:04Speaker 1: enables me to ward off those little things that are
- 5:09Speaker 1: you know, coming up that can get in the way.
- 5:13Speaker 1: And so I just wanted to make you aware of
- 5:16Speaker 1: that as I'm learning it myself, that staying prayed up
- 5:20Speaker 1: is important. That you try to stop prayers, you know,
- 5:23Speaker 1: you try to you know, have some prayers in the bank,
- 5:26Speaker 1: so to speak, and just constant communication with him, because
- 5:30Speaker 1: it'll just safeguard you against a lot of stuff back
- 5:33Speaker 1: doing you. You know, I've had that happened so many times,
- 5:35Speaker 1: and so you know, I just wanted to make sure
- 5:37Speaker 1: you understood that because on your journey, it's gonna be
- 5:41Speaker 1: many obstacles. I've said this a hundred times on the show.
- 5:45Speaker 1: The road to success is always under construction. I say
- 5:49Speaker 1: that all the time, and it's to let you understand
- 5:52Speaker 1: that it's not going to be easy, but we can
- 5:56Speaker 1: make it more difficult than it has to be. You know,
- 6:01Speaker 1: when you go out strike out on the journey. You know, Uh,
- 6:05Speaker 1: let's say I got in my car. Let's say I'm
- 6:07Speaker 1: in New York and I get in my car and
- 6:10Speaker 1: I say I'm going to LA. I know, if I
- 6:14Speaker 1: drive west and continue to drive west, eventually I should
- 6:21Speaker 1: get to California, or I may wind up in Portland
- 6:25Speaker 1: or Seattle or something like that. But if I drive west,
- 6:29Speaker 1: I'm gonna eventually get to the West Coast. Now, wouldn't
- 6:36Speaker 1: it be smarter though? If I mapped out the route
- 6:42Speaker 1: which saved me a bunch of driving, I don't need
- 6:46Speaker 1: and figuring that I don't have to calculate when you
- 6:49Speaker 1: know the way to go. You know, if you know
- 6:55Speaker 1: you want to cut cross on the twenty, or you
- 6:58Speaker 1: want to cut cross on the seventy, or you want
- 7:02Speaker 1: to cut a cross on the ten, you know you
- 7:06Speaker 1: got to devise a route. Now, if I want to
- 7:08Speaker 1: go visit some people I know, then I know I
- 7:10Speaker 1: got to I need to go down. You know, I
- 7:12Speaker 1: might go through on how I'll come down on the eighty,
- 7:15Speaker 1: then get on seventy one and take that all the
- 7:18Speaker 1: way down to the Tin and then ride across. Or
- 7:20Speaker 1: I might take it to the twenty, cut through Texas
- 7:23Speaker 1: and then and then let it link back up on
- 7:25Speaker 1: the Tin. I know a lot of different ways, but
- 7:28Speaker 1: guess what the best way is to map it out.
- 7:32Speaker 1: You can go anywhere, but if you go with a map,
- 7:36Speaker 1: it's more precise. You save yourself a lot of time.
- 7:39Speaker 1: And that's what prayer has taught me that when identify
- 7:44Speaker 1: continuously pray that I stay in the in the I
- 7:48Speaker 1: stay in a prepared mode. I have more idea of
- 7:51Speaker 1: where I'm going. I'm more secure with my route. If
- 7:54Speaker 1: you just take off driving heading west, yeah, you'll eventually
- 7:59Speaker 1: get to the west coast. So if you out east,
- 8:01Speaker 1: but guess what, though, had you mapped it out, had
- 8:05Speaker 1: you made constant references to your map, you can see
- 8:08Speaker 1: when you're veering off, you may stop, come out and
- 8:12Speaker 1: not be paying attention. Next thing, you know, you're on
- 8:14Speaker 1: a route and you go on another way. You're going
- 8:16Speaker 1: north when you could easily still be going west. You've
- 8:19Speaker 1: got to constantly be aware of that. And I'm just
- 8:20Speaker 1: pointing that out to you because I know that on
- 8:23Speaker 1: your journey a lot of times you get sidetracked. And
- 8:27Speaker 1: part of the ways we get sidetracked is we lose
- 8:30Speaker 1: out on that very the very beneficial resource of prayer.
- 8:36Speaker 1: We lose out we our connection with God get strained.
- 8:40Speaker 1: It thins out. The thicker you can keep the cord
- 8:45Speaker 1: connected to God, the more stable and the more balanced
- 8:52Speaker 1: the journey. If you fin out your communication with God
- 8:56Speaker 1: and instead of having a big thick cable, now you're
- 8:59Speaker 1: dealing with a thread. You know, a cable is stronger
- 9:03Speaker 1: than thread, and so it just decreases your opportunity. And
- 9:09Speaker 1: so you know, I wanted to just make you aware
- 9:11Speaker 1: of that, and you know, to ever be encouraging to
- 9:14Speaker 1: say to everybody out there and just keep your head up.
- 9:17Speaker 1: It is going to be dark days for you. There
- 9:20Speaker 1: are going to be situations where it's going to be
- 9:22Speaker 1: daunting and hard to face. But man o, man o,
- 9:27Speaker 1: man everybody has to face these challenges. Everybody get dark sometimes.
- 9:32Speaker 1: You know, look, if you didn't lose, if you didn't lose,
- 9:37Speaker 1: you wouldn't even appreciate winning because if it all went
- 9:41Speaker 1: your way all the time. Do you know how complacent
- 9:45Speaker 1: and content and how easy life would be if it
- 9:49Speaker 1: just went your way all the time. So when it
- 9:53Speaker 1: kept going your way, you wouldn't even appreciate it because
- 9:55Speaker 1: guess what, it's been going this way the whole time.
- 9:58Speaker 1: So what life does is it has its checks and balances.
- 10:02Speaker 1: These hard times are coming, and you need the hard
- 10:05Speaker 1: times to appreciate the good times. You need the clouds
- 10:09Speaker 1: and you need the rain to appreciate the sun and
- 10:13Speaker 1: the flowers. It's just when it comes to prayer, though,
- 10:18Speaker 1: just stay prayed up, stay constant with it, because the
- 10:23Speaker 1: challenges of life are coming, whether you prayed up or not,
- 10:26Speaker 1: they're coming. Understand that you could pray every day all day.
- 10:31Speaker 1: When you get through praying every day all day, something
- 10:33Speaker 1: gonna happen to you. That's gonna be challenging. Now, I
- 10:38Speaker 1: would rather have been in communication with God on a
- 10:40Speaker 1: regular than wait till every time something pop off, to
- 10:44Speaker 1: have to go to and reintroduce myself. Okay, but over
- 10:48Speaker 1: at little around the board with it today. But that's
- 10:51Speaker 1: how it came to me. So that is I ain't
- 10:54Speaker 1: mad at it. Y'all have great day. We're gonna have
- 10:55Speaker 1: good one to day. Let's go. You're listening to show. Well, Uh, folks,

- 11:52Speaker 1: Number one you kids. Look at the radio and look
- 11:55Speaker 1: at it. See us, see that stupid. Uh we're in
- 12:03Speaker 1: the building. Yeah, we are the number one Martin show.
- 12:07Speaker 1: And yeah, is he sexy because we're so confused? Yeah,
- 12:15Speaker 1: that's what let's change it. I'm gonna be stupid up
- 12:21Speaker 1: and I got to give you stupid ass sexy time
- 12:33Speaker 1: you asked for stupid. That's what the will is today. Yeah,
- 12:44Speaker 1: he's very confused, like, we don't know if you say
- 12:48Speaker 1: that that not. They had to get the grammar. So,
- 12:56Speaker 1: I mean, Tommy, what's happening? What's going on? I'm good,
- 12:59Speaker 1: I'm good. Took my mama fishing yesterday for a birthday. Yeah,
- 13:03Speaker 1: you know, happy birthday mommy, Tommy, mommy, good thing? Did
- 13:11Speaker 1: you catch any fish? We call fish? No boats turning over,
- 13:14Speaker 1: no close calls, all that one. Oh, because last time
- 13:17Speaker 1: it was it will sound a little bit more exciting.
- 13:20Speaker 1: About to breakdown. I mean he's trying to be sexy
- 13:29Speaker 1: for like, I don't carefully, it's too early, Tommy, we
- 13:33Speaker 1: need stupid. What do you all want me to do? Where?
- 13:39Speaker 1: Where is stupid? Tommy? Hold up? Can I tell him something?
- 13:43Speaker 1: Notice gonna break his heart? Come on, you're not sexy
- 13:47Speaker 1: in the least bit, man, a little bit. You're feeling
- 13:53Speaker 1: at all? Feel what? Feel what? Feel? You don't feel it?
- 14:01Speaker 1: Don't you don't know how to do what you say?
- 14:04Speaker 1: Like he owned a lot it? Please you please let
- 14:09Speaker 1: him We want stupid. Let him know, Shirley, I'm about
- 14:18Speaker 1: to bombit. Usually you know I love you, but come on,
- 14:25Speaker 1: we need stupid. What you need? Give the people what
- 14:28Speaker 1: the people wanted? All right? Coming up at thirty two
- 14:33Speaker 1: after the hour, do you hold a grudge towards your family?
- 14:36Speaker 1: Anyone in your family? Thanks? All right, we'll get into
- 14:42Speaker 1: it right after this. You're listening to show, all right, Guys.
- 14:48Speaker 1: Before we went to breat guy asked this question, do
- 14:50Speaker 1: you hold a grudge toward any family member? So we
- 14:54Speaker 1: got this idea, I guess from Game of Thrones, because
- 14:56Speaker 1: you know, in Game of Thrones there are a lot
- 14:58Speaker 1: of good guys and bad guys and mostly sort of
- 15:01Speaker 1: in between the two. For the most part. You know,
- 15:04Speaker 1: parties are fighting their father's wars. That's what they're doing. Actually, yeah,
- 15:08Speaker 1: really they also have an enemy simply because they were
- 15:11Speaker 1: born with a certain name. Okay, So so I'm asking
- 15:16Speaker 1: how true does this hold for us in reality. So
- 15:20Speaker 1: have have you guys written off relatives or your entire
- 15:23Speaker 1: family because of what a person did? Because you're holding
- 15:25Speaker 1: a grudge? Junior me? Yeah, oh grudge? Now I love
- 15:33Speaker 1: my sister. There's nothing wrong here. Thank Yeah? Yeah, old
- 15:43Speaker 1: grudge holding one right now? What happened? Yeah? I love you, Dad,
- 15:49Speaker 1: I really do. But your friends probably gonna call you
- 15:51Speaker 1: in a minute. They're talking about you. Yeah, don't get
- 15:57Speaker 1: yourself in I'm grown sure. Okay, Well I'm thinking with
- 16:01Speaker 1: mom pine called my time and money going into this,
- 16:06Speaker 1: I should be able to say what I want to
- 16:07Speaker 1: say if I'm helping a family, melple im right? A wrong?
- 16:13Speaker 1: Can you say? You know what I'm saying? So that's
- 16:17Speaker 1: what it is. Yes, I took my daddy truck back. Dad, Hey,
- 16:24Speaker 1: bet your ass walking night? Did she gonna lie on me?
- 16:30Speaker 1: Said she gonna lie on me? Yeah, since my daddy
- 16:33Speaker 1: truck back. Yeah, so get daddy. Bet your fall ranging now,
- 16:38Speaker 1: So if next thing you say gonna be the truth? Yeah, Yes,
- 16:43Speaker 1: I changed the bank account bad. Yes, yeah, we each grudge.
- 16:50Speaker 1: He gets water though stuff. No, I ain't paying the
- 16:58Speaker 1: rent that is so Hey, I feel better? How about
- 17:04Speaker 1: y'all holding this by three months. So glad Carl to
- 17:11Speaker 1: put this in the show. What if they what if
- 17:13Speaker 1: they hear you? Do you think I give a damn
- 17:17Speaker 1: not for real radio? Thank you to be heard? You
- 17:22Speaker 1: know what this is? So rejuvenature. I didn't even know. Man,
- 17:28Speaker 1: I've been bombed. Therapeutic. Man, you're having therapy. Man, let
- 17:33Speaker 1: it out. I do the time. Yeah, all these lives now,
- 17:36Speaker 1: I wouldn't come see my daddy. You know you a
- 17:38Speaker 1: damn lie. But I've been there. But I'm here now though.
- 17:43Speaker 1: What happened? Y'all know what's going on? Show? Don't act?
- 17:48Speaker 1: Don't act? I think I just didn't think you'd say it?
- 17:52Speaker 1: Like why I wouldn't. I couldn't wait for Car to
- 17:55Speaker 1: put this in the show. I've been waiting on this
- 17:57Speaker 1: break how many months? Three? Say it? Yes? Yes, you
- 18:08Speaker 1: didn't tell me you was taking this money? No, I
- 18:11Speaker 1: don't say that the gona you know they gonna do
- 18:17Speaker 1: you think I give once again? Call me? You ain't

- 18:46Speaker 1: some Ohio players to be free? I won't have to
- 18:52Speaker 1: listen to you on that day, I'll be able to
- 18:57Speaker 1: make up my own mind. Your shie did everything I
- 19:01Speaker 1: mentioned names sho shoot damn, he said one day child,

- 19:16Speaker 1: I'm gonna be all right after why shoes? Yes, shoot,
- 19:23Speaker 1: And one day I'll be able to make up my
- 19:25Speaker 1: old mihilway and forth right now, yes, now, the Lord
- 19:32Speaker 1: and gave me the strength. Naha, come on, Lord, it's
- 19:35Speaker 1: like given care. It's like a new bird man it was.

- 23:28Speaker 1: you know, okay, I mean you you you are you
- 23:31Speaker 1: able to help me out with something right quick? Or
- 23:33Speaker 1: you got you got time for that? Well, like I said,

- 23:37Speaker 1: can help you with. I you know, I don't mind

- 30:27Speaker 1: Remember her? Oh yeah, oh yeah. We'll talk about it
- 30:31Speaker 1: at about twenty after the hour, Steve. Uh. Everybody's buzzing
- 30:35Speaker 1: about that. But first, in today's entertainment news, Art Kelly
- 30:39Speaker 1: maybe jailed again and soon after missing child support payments
- 30:44Speaker 1: that have already landed him in jail once before. Now
- 30:47Speaker 1: this is according to tm z R, Kelly has missed
- 30:50Speaker 1: his last two months of child support payments to his
- 30:53Speaker 1: x Drea Kelly. He's required to pay twenty thousand, eight
- 30:57Speaker 1: hundred and thirty three dollars a month to his ex.
- 30:59Speaker 1: As you know, Robert was jailed in early March after
- 31:03Speaker 1: racking up over one hundred and sixty thousand dollars. This
- 31:07Speaker 1: after he was arrested on sexual abuse charges. Robert was
- 31:11Speaker 1: released after he cleared that debt. Someone covered his tab,
- 31:14Speaker 1: we know. After getting out, Robert went back to court.
- 31:17Speaker 1: Robert went back to court and asked the judge to
- 31:20Speaker 1: lower the twenty k amount, claiming he could no longer
- 31:22Speaker 1: afford it. The judge said he would hear arguments, but
- 31:25Speaker 1: that won't happen until May eighth. In the meantime, Robert
- 31:29Speaker 1: ows twenty k plus a month, and it's clear the
- 31:34Speaker 1: judge means business. Well, he could go back then. Yeah,
- 31:40Speaker 1: he's already missed two. Yeah. Yeah, there's always trouble. It's
- 31:49Speaker 1: sad man to see somebody who had so much. Man,
- 32:00Speaker 1: the guys talented beyond measure. Yeah. Man, something something's wrong somewhere. Yeah,
- 32:08Speaker 1: something's wrong somewhere a partner. Yeah you know. Yeah, you

- 32:24Speaker 1: he could fly. He should have been left. Yeah. Long,
- 32:28Speaker 1: you can sing it at church Sunday huh yeah wow um.
- 32:35Speaker 1: In other entertainment news, Nipsey Hustle's family wants to make
- 32:38Speaker 1: it clear there is no reason to worry about the
- 32:41Speaker 1: financial well being of his children after multiple crowdfunding pages
- 32:46Speaker 1: and fundraising attempts by former NFL player Reggie Bush and
- 32:50Speaker 1: other celebrities. Um Sources close to the family said that
- 32:53Speaker 1: Nipsey made sure his two children would not have to
- 32:57Speaker 1: rely on anyone for money. Nipsey put away money and
- 33:00Speaker 1: trust funds for his family using the money he earned
- 33:03Speaker 1: from his music, clothing store, and his other business endeavors.
- 33:07Speaker 1: So they're straight, yeah, yeah, yeah, well, you know he
- 33:10Speaker 1: was a Yeah, that's what he stood for, to be
- 33:13Speaker 1: very smart with that, yeah, empowering himself and others, you know,
- 33:18Speaker 1: with knowledge in money business, you know, owning businesses, all
- 33:24Speaker 1: of that. Yeah. So yeah, that's what a lot of
- 33:27Speaker 1: what he'll be known for, you know, besides his community
- 33:30Speaker 1: work and his music, you know that sort of thing.
- 33:33Speaker 1: A lot of people have said, you know, he helped me,
- 33:35Speaker 1: he did this for me. Yeah, it wasn't for Nipsey.
- 33:38Speaker 1: He's the one that taught me to do this, you know. Yeah,
- 33:42Speaker 1: seems like he knew the business part of the music
- 33:44Speaker 1: business too. Yeah yeah, yeah, because he had already made
- 33:47Speaker 1: money before he even got with the label, right by
- 33:50Speaker 1: selling his mixtape. So yeah, yeah, So anyway, thank god
- 33:56Speaker 1: he took care of his children. Thank God, yeah children,
- 34:00Speaker 1: Imani and Cross yeah Cross Cross Yeah. I like that
- 34:08Speaker 1: name Cross. Next name. All right, Steve, it is time
- 34:13Speaker 1: for today's headline. Well, ladies and gentlemen, Miss Anne Triump, well,
- 34:18Speaker 1: thank you very much everybody, and good morning. This is
- 34:20Speaker 1: and Triplet's the news. Okay. The spires of both a
- 34:22Speaker 1: World Trade Center and the Empire State Building in New
- 34:25Speaker 1: York we're lit in the colors of the French flag
- 34:27Speaker 1: last night and to show a solidarity with the people
- 34:29Speaker 1: of France in the wake of Monday's massive fire at
- 34:32Speaker 1: the Cathedral of Notre Dame. The brelets left the eight
- 34:35Speaker 1: hundred and fifty year old structure disfigured but still standing,
- 34:38Speaker 1: with both the roof and spire destroyed. French President Makom
- 34:41Speaker 1: is vowing to rebuild a legendary structure in five years.
- 34:44Speaker 1: Some people say that's a little ambitious. Other people say, well,
- 34:47Speaker 1: it really can be done. President Trump participated in a
- 34:49Speaker 1: private swearing in ceremony yesterday of the new head of
- 34:52Speaker 1: the Environmental Protection Agency. The Senate confirmed Andrew Wheeler to
- 34:55Speaker 1: be the agency's fifteenth administrator at the end of February,
- 34:59Speaker 1: were replace his former administrator, Scott Pruitt, who resigned last
- 35:03Speaker 1: summer while facing more than a dozen ethics probes. Much
- 35:06Speaker 1: of Andrew Wheeler's Washington work Senate on reducing the Environmental
- 35:10Speaker 1: Agency's oversight. He was also a registered lobbyist for a
- 35:13Speaker 1: lot of fossil fuel companies, like coal companies, so environmental
- 35:16Speaker 1: groups supposed his nomination anyway. Bernie Sanders and Kamala Harris
- 35:20Speaker 1: have raised more money for their presidential campaign so far
- 35:23Speaker 1: than any of the other sixteen Democratic candidates. Vermont Senator
- 35:26Speaker 1: Bernie Sanders says he's raised eighteen million so far, California
- 35:29Speaker 1: Senator Kamala Harris has accumulated twelve mill Former Texas consent
- 35:34Speaker 1: bay To o'rourk, though has a little over nine million,
- 35:36Speaker 1: and South Bend, Indiana Mayor Pete Buddhajes has already got
- 35:40Speaker 1: about seven mill in until On the other hand, though
- 35:42Speaker 1: Donald Trump has a war chest so far of thirty
- 35:45Speaker 1: million dollars. Distinguished historian author David Brian Davis has died
- 35:50Speaker 1: at age ninety two. Davis was a white history professor
- 35:54Speaker 1: at Yale. He wrote about the importance of slavery in
- 35:56Speaker 1: the development of Europe, the US, and the industrial Revolution,
- 35:59Speaker 1: while other White's historians tweat a slavery as some minor
- 36:02Speaker 1: piece of American history. David Brian Davis, who proved that
- 36:06Speaker 1: black enslavement was actually central to the expansion of Europe,
- 36:10Speaker 1: the development of the modern world, and especially the economic
- 36:12Speaker 1: profits that led to the Industrial Revolution. And that's contrary
- 36:16Speaker 1: to the myth that only immigrants built America. He said,
- 36:18Speaker 1: American slavery was the key institution that contributed to the
- 36:21Speaker 1: rise of the West to global prominence. In twenty thirteen,
- 36:26Speaker 1: Davis was given the National Humanities Metal by President Obama.
- 36:31Speaker 1: Well she may not like it, but singer Share as
- 36:32Speaker 1: being embraced by the nation's conservatives. After questioning whether the
- 36:36Speaker 1: state she lives in, California can handle any more immigrants.
- 36:40Speaker 1: On Sunday, Share tweeted quote, I understand helping struggly immigrants,
- 36:44Speaker 1: but my city isn't taken care of its own. What
- 36:47Speaker 1: about the fifty thousand plus citizens who live on the streets,
- 36:50Speaker 1: people who live below the poverty line, who are hungry.
- 36:52Speaker 1: But if my state can take care of its own
- 36:54Speaker 1: and many of veterans, how can it take care of more.
- 36:57Speaker 1: Reaction Conservative actor James Wood says Share was awakened to reality. Finally,
- 37:02Speaker 1: Today's national Remember what I told you too? Forget Now
- 37:13Speaker 1: back to this Harvey Morning Show. You're listening to Steven show.
- 37:19Speaker 1: In today's trending story, Steve Harvey, you are trending, You,
- 37:24Speaker 1: Steve Harvey, are trending and trending. What are you doing that? Well? Yesterday,
- 37:28Speaker 1: Tommy your uncle on his talk show always Something is Special. Guest.
- 37:34Speaker 1: Her name was miss Durannis Pace. She had a very
- 37:37Speaker 1: emotional story and such a wonderful spirit with some powerful,
- 37:41Speaker 1: powerful TV. It had your uncle crying. Take a listen.
- 37:45Speaker 1: I didn't know if I'm gonna be alive. God now
- 37:47Speaker 1: kept me alive to see you, sir, And I'm just
- 37:51Speaker 1: glad to be here. I can go to heaven. Now
- 37:56Speaker 1: I should go to heaven. I don't take much for me.
- 38:01Speaker 1: Hard he and he did you have it? Yeah, hard
- 38:21Speaker 1: set Bo, you have me a little sa I saw
- 38:31Speaker 1: it yesterday. It was very powerful, but you were there.
- 38:36Speaker 1: You was kind of right there by. The interview is
- 38:39Speaker 1: she wanted the Pace sister, Steve? Yeah, wow, that he
- 38:42Speaker 1: bought on because her video it wasn't viable of her
- 38:46Speaker 1: singing yeah gospel song. It was totally unexpected. We got
- 38:51Speaker 1: to talking about so many different things. Man. I don't
- 38:54Speaker 1: know how they edited it down and haven't seen it.
- 38:58Speaker 1: Somebody sent me a clip, a really short clip, and
- 39:02Speaker 1: it was just emotional for me because we were talking.
- 39:07Speaker 1: I don't know if it's probably the first time I've
- 39:09Speaker 1: said it out loud, I know, on TV about having
- 39:13Speaker 1: the responsibility of taking my mother off life support, which
- 39:18Speaker 1: was really a rough thing for me to do. Man.
- 39:21Speaker 1: I'n't done a lot of crazy stuff in my day.
- 39:24Speaker 1: I hadn't done some hard stuff, but this one was tough,
- 39:27Speaker 1: and now we got to talking about that, and then
- 39:30Speaker 1: we started talking about, you know, just heaven and stuff,
- 39:33Speaker 1: and it was such a real raw conversation because it
- 39:37Speaker 1: was so unrehearsed and unplaying whe no produced segment where
- 39:41Speaker 1: no You asked ad SDN. She gonna say that it
- 39:44Speaker 1: was none of that, and it truly was a spiritual
- 39:46Speaker 1: moment for me because this woman was saying some stuff
- 39:50Speaker 1: to me. I don't know how much of the interview
- 39:52Speaker 1: went on TV, but she said some stuff to me,
- 39:54Speaker 1: man that was really really deep and touching to me,
- 39:58Speaker 1: and I knew I could and it's sort of crazy, man,
- 40:01Speaker 1: I could feel my mother's spirit. Oh wow, talking to me. Yeah,
- 40:05Speaker 1: because you were really emotional, Steve. Yeah, because I know
- 40:08Speaker 1: how my mother talked to me, and this woman was
- 40:11Speaker 1: talking to me like my mama. Wow. All right, Well,
- 40:15Speaker 1: coming up next, Steve at thirty four after the hour,
- 40:18Speaker 1: tell us more about this interview with mister Ranna's Pace.
- 40:22Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening to Steve Morning Show. All right,
- 40:27Speaker 1: Today's trending story is Steve Harvey's viral video and his emotional,
- 40:32Speaker 1: powerful interview with mister Ranna's Pace. Steve, mister Rannis was
- 40:37Speaker 1: so inspiring and you really brought everyone to tears. Take
- 40:42Speaker 1: a listen to this. You know, my mama raised me too.
- 40:47Speaker 1: Oh she says, Steve, God gonna get you a big
- 40:50Speaker 1: house on the heel. One day, he said, but you
- 40:54Speaker 1: can't get on the heeling. Don't tell anybody else how
- 40:56Speaker 1: to get up, Dan, that was the hardest thing I
- 41:03Speaker 1: ever did you know that? Tell her doctor take my
- 41:07Speaker 1: mom off life support. Oh my god. I suffered with
- 41:12Speaker 1: that for a long time. You know. So I was
- 41:17Speaker 1: raised where she in heaven? Now? You know? Yes, yes,
- 41:20Speaker 1: she watches me, yes sees yes, sir. I just hope
- 41:24Speaker 1: she's seeing today, Yes, sir, watching this moment right here? Yes, sir,
- 41:29Speaker 1: I really only it is not straightened up, start doing right,
- 41:34Speaker 1: because I just want to see her. Yes, sir, Yes
- 41:37Speaker 1: you don't see her. Amen. Wow Wow, Wow, this was
- 41:43Speaker 1: on yesterday. I mean it got taped a couple of
- 41:49Speaker 1: weeks ago. I think it was sort of crazy, man.
- 41:54Speaker 1: I was somebody sent it to me on Steve Harvey film.
- 42:00Speaker 1: And you know, it's sort of crazy man. You know,
- 42:04Speaker 1: you try not tell, you know, it's it's almost like
- 42:07Speaker 1: I don't care what you do. It's an amazing thing, man,
- 42:12Speaker 1: that I've really had to come to terms with the
- 42:15Speaker 1: purpose of haters, because you know, I was when I
- 42:19Speaker 1: had a Victoria Oldstein on the show the other week
- 42:24Speaker 1: and she said something that I had never quite heard
- 42:28Speaker 1: put that way. She said that the devil is not
- 42:32Speaker 1: interested in you. He's just interested in making sure you
- 42:37Speaker 1: don't get to your destiny. That the devil's real interest
- 42:42Speaker 1: is not you because he don't care nothing about you.
- 42:45Speaker 1: But what his job is to be a deterrent so
- 42:48Speaker 1: that you don't ever get to your destiny. And so
- 42:52Speaker 1: what I've learned about the trolls and the haters that
- 42:56Speaker 1: they're actually doing work for Satan's imps, and their job
- 43:02Speaker 1: is to throw you off course. Yeah man, it's to
- 43:06Speaker 1: keep you out of your destiny. And it's sort of crazy, man,
- 43:11Speaker 1: because you look at some of the comments. I was,
- 43:13Speaker 1: I just read some comments that this girl had sent
- 43:16Speaker 1: me from Steve Harvey's film. Everything was so positive. It's
- 43:20Speaker 1: like crazy, like I'm not really messed up about this anything.
- 43:24Speaker 1: And you know, because I really come to the term
- 43:27Speaker 1: of understanding. And this one woman in the middle of
- 43:30Speaker 1: all of this positivity, you know, people remember her name
- 43:33Speaker 1: mother and remembering how hard it is for them to
- 43:36Speaker 1: difficult and do you know everybody on this show, you know,
- 43:42Speaker 1: I mean, you know what the acception to Tommy. But
- 43:43Speaker 1: Tommy lost his dad, so I mean we all have
- 43:46Speaker 1: felt proud of lost yeah, you know. And so you know,
- 43:51Speaker 1: even in the middle of that, when the people are
- 43:53Speaker 1: just grappling with that, uh, this woman said, I don't
- 43:58Speaker 1: really care for Steve Harvey. It's cool, I'm paying no,
- 44:03Speaker 1: but I'm showing you that, I'm showing I'm showing y'all
- 44:08Speaker 1: the point that Satan is not interested in you. He's
- 44:12Speaker 1: interested in you keeping you from your destiny and if
- 44:15Speaker 1: you're not careful, these little comments that you hear can
- 44:20Speaker 1: can help you miss the real valid point of what
- 44:24Speaker 1: the whole mission of the interview was supposed to do.
- 44:28Speaker 1: And so man, you have to be careful in themselves.
- 44:30Speaker 1: Just reading along in this, woman go I don't really
- 44:32Speaker 1: care for Steve Harvey because of the stuff his ex
- 44:35Speaker 1: wife has said about him. And I just went, Wow,
- 44:38Speaker 1: that's amazing that you would miss. Okay, but let me
- 44:41Speaker 1: tell you that if I was anything she said I was.
- 44:45Speaker 1: God can't change people, right, man, you don't get allowed
- 44:49Speaker 1: to get it right. Third chances that's what? Yeah, all right, Steve, Yeah,
- 45:00Speaker 1: pace a car on this episode. Yeah, that's a blessing,
- 45:07Speaker 1: right there? Are you? And Jesus don't done any for
- 45:12Speaker 1: y'all to some may All right, thank you guys. Nephew
- 45:15Speaker 1: you're up next with a prying phone call. Right after this.
- 45:18Speaker 1: You're listening morning show coming up at the top of
- 45:23Speaker 1: the hour, right about four minutes after. It's my strawberry
- 45:26Speaker 1: letter for today subject a huge problem in our relationship.
- 45:30Speaker 1: Wait till you hear this, But right now the nephew
- 45:33Speaker 1: is here with today's prying phone call. What you got,
- 45:36Speaker 1: neph We got a problem in this relationship that I'm
- 45:39Speaker 1: about to run Shirley. Oh yeah, yeah, that's a major
- 45:43Speaker 1: problem and it happens a lot in some relationships, especially
- 45:47Speaker 1: before marriage. The ring, Oh, the ring, like the movie
- 45:56Speaker 1: The Rain, the horrible movie. That's how he said of
- 46:01Speaker 1: the rings, the Rain. I was looking for that ring. Yeah,
- 46:05Speaker 1: where is all right? Here? The rain rain running cat dog.
- 46:14Speaker 1: Let's go Hello, Hello, I'm trying to reach a Denise. Please. Yes,
- 46:20Speaker 1: this is she. Hi, Denis. My name is Gavin. I'm
- 46:22Speaker 1: actually the head jeweler here Diamonds. No, how you doing.
- 46:26Speaker 1: I'm good. You brought your ring in? What was it
- 46:28Speaker 1: last week? I actually wasn't here, but you gave it
- 46:31Speaker 1: to one of my salespersons. And yes you wanted to
- 46:34Speaker 1: get it resized as well as get it a praise correct, Yes, yes, yes,
- 46:38Speaker 1: and you don't have to tell him that, praise him
- 46:41Speaker 1: on my own. Okay, wow, okay, listen, I actually do
- 46:46Speaker 1: the resize of the ring. And first of all, let
- 46:48Speaker 1: me be the person say, um, congratulations, when when is
- 46:51Speaker 1: your wedding? Thank you? I'm getting married and stuff coming there. Well,
- 46:55Speaker 1: congratulations to thank you. Listen. I don't know how to
- 46:58Speaker 1: tell you this now, as far as yours a less concerned.
- 47:01Speaker 1: I've looked at your ring over and over and this
- 47:05Speaker 1: this ring is probably worth maybe fifty dollars. Excuse me,
- 47:10Speaker 1: I've been I've been in this business for over twenty years.
- 47:13Speaker 1: But you know what, I'm confused on what you just said.
- 47:16Speaker 1: And I understand that. What I'm trying to explain to
- 47:18Speaker 1: you is that I've been in this business for over
- 47:20Speaker 1: twenty years. I've seen so many different pieces of jewelry
- 47:23Speaker 1: and this is something that you that you buy late
- 47:26Speaker 1: night on an infomercial for nineteen ninety nine. This is
- 47:29Speaker 1: a Cubic Declonian stones and the gold is not real
- 47:34Speaker 1: at all. It's like, wait, wait, you lost me. You
- 47:38Speaker 1: lost me as much money as my fans make and
- 47:40Speaker 1: as much money as my father is putting down on
- 47:42Speaker 1: his winding or has put down. And you're gonna understand
- 47:46Speaker 1: everything you're saying. But Denise, honestly, what I need to
- 47:49Speaker 1: do is hold on. Wait wait. I need you to
- 47:52Speaker 1: hold on because we need to convictims. Wait. Wait man.
- 47:56Speaker 1: First of all, I can't wait wait wait, wait, wait, wait,
- 48:00Speaker 1: hold hold on? Do you wait wait? Wait? What are
- 48:06Speaker 1: you trying to what you're trying to do, sir, I
- 48:08Speaker 1: need I need you to repeat because what you just
- 48:11Speaker 1: said to me, okay, I little of personal stuff. Man,
- 48:15Speaker 1: you oh you hit it. It's personal now, So I
- 48:17Speaker 1: need you to hold on. Okay, oh she called her man. Okay,
- 48:24Speaker 1: thank thank hello, Victim. I can listen to this jeweler
- 48:28Speaker 1: that's on the front. I want you to hit it
- 48:30Speaker 1: that he just told me. Hold what's what's the problem?
- 48:32Speaker 1: What you mean, what's the problem. He gonna tell you
- 48:34Speaker 1: what the problem is. Gonna hit on, sir, gonna hit on? Who? Hello, Yeah,
- 48:38Speaker 1: who's this all right? My name is Gavin. I'm from Diamonds.
- 48:42Speaker 1: And actually your wife, I mean where your fiance rather,
- 48:45Speaker 1: she brought her ring in to actually be resized. Yeah,
- 48:48Speaker 1: and we we also did an appraisal on the ring
- 48:51Speaker 1: for her. And actually the ring is estimated to be only,
- 48:55Speaker 1: in the words of around fifty dollars. Fifty dollars dollars
- 49:00Speaker 1: if that's what the man said, dollars, sir, Obviously there's
- 49:05Speaker 1: some sort of mistakes, sir. Now what you got to
- 49:07Speaker 1: say about that fifty dollars? That's that's got to be
- 49:11Speaker 1: some kind of mistakes. But what'd you say your name was, sir,
- 49:13Speaker 1: My name is Gavin. I work here at Diamonds. I'm
- 49:15Speaker 1: the head jeweler here. I've been here for twenty years.
- 49:18Speaker 1: And there's there's no way that that ring is worth
- 49:21Speaker 1: fifty dollars. I know what I paid for it, so
- 49:23Speaker 1: obviously there's some sort of mistakes it. There's not a mistake.
- 49:27Speaker 1: I've been dealing with jury, I've seen it. I can't
- 49:29Speaker 1: pretty much look at a ring, but I actually went
- 49:31Speaker 1: into detail on this one, as I do all of them,
- 49:34Speaker 1: and so I promise you this is probably maybe between
- 49:37Speaker 1: forty and fifty dollars before his workers. No, absolutely not.
- 49:41Speaker 1: That's that's impossible. How is that impossible? He's a jeweler.
- 49:44Speaker 1: You heard him say, he's been doing it for twenty
- 49:46Speaker 1: he's the highest impossible. I don't understand that all the
- 49:50Speaker 1: money that my day is putting down on this wedding
- 49:52Speaker 1: and you don't pay fifty You bought a cheap ring, sir, No, no, no,
- 49:56Speaker 1: I did not buy a team. This is this is
- 49:59Speaker 1: this is O basically some kind of mistake. You didn't
- 50:01Speaker 1: got it? You shot right, you show got that right.
- 50:04Speaker 1: So what you got to say for yourself? Fifty? Don
- 50:08Speaker 1: this you can't. I believe that that's right, that this
- 50:10Speaker 1: is obviously some kind of mistairs. Oh, it is a mistake.
- 50:13Speaker 1: I'm mistake and thinking I'm gonna get married to the
- 50:15Speaker 1: man of my dream. I do have the engagement ring
- 50:18Speaker 1: that was purchased and bought for your wife. No, I
- 50:20Speaker 1: don't think you I don't think you do. I don't
- 50:22Speaker 1: think you have my ring, because if you have my ring,
- 50:24Speaker 1: you wouldn't be telling me this is worse fifty dollars.
- 50:26Speaker 1: I have the ring that your wife, your fiance brought
- 50:29Speaker 1: in his wife. Yet hold on, hold on. The man
- 50:32Speaker 1: is trying to explain. I'm trying to get to the body.
- 50:35Speaker 1: Thank you, So you have I don't think he has
- 50:37Speaker 1: the right ring. I have the right ring. And what
- 50:40Speaker 1: I'm letting you know, sir, is that this is something
- 50:42Speaker 1: you buy on an infomercial in the two ocock the morning. Dude,
- 50:46Speaker 1: you know I ain't bottled damn ring on infomercial. I
- 50:50Speaker 1: bought the ring from a reputable establishment. I have the receipt,
- 50:54Speaker 1: I have the certificate. So obviously the mistake is on
- 50:57Speaker 1: your and where you are the mistakes now here? Sir.
- 51:00Speaker 1: You bought a piece of jump he's been doing it
- 51:02Speaker 1: all these years. How hell he gonna make a mistake?
- 51:04Speaker 1: Whe you come off telling me I bought a piece
- 51:07Speaker 1: of jump. I know what I bought. If there's any
- 51:09Speaker 1: mistakes that's been made, it's on your end, world, It's
- 51:12Speaker 1: not on my end. Yeah. Hold don't words of all,
- 51:15Speaker 1: don't way you want things that my dad has had
- 51:19Speaker 1: too much money for this wedding, But your doll gonna
- 51:21Speaker 1: pay fifty dollars on dollars wing you wait till I
- 51:24Speaker 1: tell him this? Chill? Hold on. First of all, I
- 51:27Speaker 1: don't appreciate you. I want to tell you this. This
- 51:29Speaker 1: is a typical case of you trying to put it
- 51:31Speaker 1: off on us because you bought a piece of run
- 51:33Speaker 1: for fifty bucks, the money that you don't make, and
- 51:36Speaker 1: I get fifty dollars worth of a ring, then he's
- 51:38Speaker 1: hold on, let me talk to this. Where you going
- 51:40Speaker 1: get talk and gets I never heard of it. So
- 51:45Speaker 1: your wife knows exactly where she's the one that brought
- 51:47Speaker 1: the ring. I tell you what, I'm gonna come down
- 51:49Speaker 1: there to see the ring that you're talking about. If
- 51:52Speaker 1: it's not the ring that I gave my girl, I'm
- 51:54Speaker 1: gonna take seventy six hundred dollars out of your because
- 51:57Speaker 1: that's so. Now you want to jump on me because
- 52:01Speaker 1: you bought your wife a pieces. Come on, you want
- 52:03Speaker 1: to put it on me? You you don't tell me
- 52:05Speaker 1: what the I don't know what the I spin on
- 52:08Speaker 1: the ring and you I don't kind of trying to pull.
- 52:10Speaker 1: First of all, I don't appreciate you coming to my
- 52:12Speaker 1: household trying to mess my and you want to come
- 52:14Speaker 1: at me with this one. I know the ring's gotta
- 52:16Speaker 1: be real. If I were you, mister niece, I would
- 52:19Speaker 1: not marry somebody that's gonna be I'm coming there. I'm
- 52:22Speaker 1: looking for your puppet, and you know what. You don't
- 52:25Speaker 1: get the ring in a right man, you're gonna go
- 52:27Speaker 1: in it. Can I say one more thing to both
- 52:29Speaker 1: of you? Are better? I tell you what if they did?
- 52:31Speaker 1: I want to hear me, and you're gonna have some
- 52:32Speaker 1: more problems. This is nephew telling me from the Steve
- 52:35Speaker 1: Harvin Morning Show, y'all just got pranked. But the niece's
- 52:39Speaker 1: sister that that's why she ain't got no man to
- 52:48Speaker 1: be Wow. That's man, Wow, that's how cool? Time is
- 52:54Speaker 1: you about to start me? Wow? I think I'm sorry, Baby,
- 52:58Speaker 1: I'm sorry, I'm sorry. I ring. I gotta ask y'all something.
- 53:05Speaker 1: What is the baddest radio show in the low but

- 53:19Speaker 1: ring is important, Yes, ring is import It is importent. Man,
- 53:26Speaker 1: where do you come up with this? That dude, he's
- 53:28Speaker 1: the man you got left side of the brain, back coner,

- 55:00Speaker 1: We gotta put your hair and air strong. WHOA see
- 55:05Speaker 1: you're a little off today, nephew. Subjects A huge problem,
- 55:09Speaker 1: A huge problem in our relationship. Here's Stephen Shirley. My
- 55:13Speaker 1: boyfriend and I have been together for five years and
- 55:16Speaker 1: we've been faced with many obstacles. But the main one
- 55:21Speaker 1: started over two years ago when I cheated on him
- 55:24Speaker 1: and admitted it. I swore to never do it again,
- 55:27Speaker 1: and we moved on. I really thought all that all
- 55:30Speaker 1: was forgiven, but my boyfriend still has major trust issues
- 55:34Speaker 1: with me. And here's why. He has a high sex
- 55:37Speaker 1: drive and so do I, but I refuse to give
- 55:40Speaker 1: in whenever he wants to have sex, which is every
- 55:43Speaker 1: day or every other day. He knows exactly why I
- 55:47Speaker 1: won't do it as much as he'd like to. It's
- 55:50Speaker 1: because he is too darn huge. Yes, he's enormous, and
- 55:56Speaker 1: I love it, but not every day. I just can't
- 56:00Speaker 1: do it. He told me that I'm just using that
- 56:02Speaker 1: as an excuse, but he knows better because when he
- 56:06Speaker 1: first when we first met, he told me that his
- 56:08Speaker 1: ex girlfriend broke up with him because of his huge issue.
- 56:11Speaker 1: This huge issue. He told me that he scared away
- 56:14Speaker 1: so many females when they saw it for the first time.
- 56:17Speaker 1: I want him to trust me, but I feel bad
- 56:20Speaker 1: depriving him, depriving him of something we both enjoy. We've
- 56:24Speaker 1: tried counseling, but the female therapist was more intrigued with
- 56:27Speaker 1: him than she wasn't actually helping us. I am tired
- 56:32Speaker 1: of telling him, yeah, get a new therapist right away,
- 56:35Speaker 1: right I am tired of telling him that he's more
- 56:37Speaker 1: than enough man for me and I have no desire
- 56:40Speaker 1: to cheat on him. How can I make a grown
- 56:42Speaker 1: man feel secure? Leaving him is not an option? Please help? Wow,
- 56:49Speaker 1: so many women would love to be in your shoes.
- 56:52Speaker 1: I actually think a woman wrote in just last week
- 56:55Speaker 1: or so about her man having the exact opposite problem.
- 56:59Speaker 1: But I'm not here to tell you to count your
- 57:01Speaker 1: blessings because your issue is very real to you, and
- 57:05Speaker 1: you're right. Sex should be enjoyable for both of you
- 57:09Speaker 1: most of the time, if not all of the time,
- 57:12Speaker 1: and if Sizes is making you, you know, not want
- 57:16Speaker 1: to do it whenever he wants to, then it is
- 57:19Speaker 1: a problem. And it's a good thing. You guys went
- 57:21Speaker 1: to a therapist, but obviously she was the wrong one
- 57:25Speaker 1: because you said she was more interested in him than
- 57:28Speaker 1: helping you. There are other people out there that can
- 57:30Speaker 1: help you. But so he keeps pestering you to do
- 57:35Speaker 1: it because he thinks you're cheating on him. Is that
- 57:37Speaker 1: what I'm to get from this letter? Because you cheated
- 57:40Speaker 1: on him before and that has made him insecure? Is
- 57:44Speaker 1: that what you're saying? You ask, how can you make
- 57:47Speaker 1: a grown man feel secure? Well, I mean, you know,
- 57:51Speaker 1: being there, loving him, being supportive and all those things.
- 57:55Speaker 1: I'm sure that's several ways to do that. But the
- 57:59Speaker 1: insecurity is within himself. I mean, you know, it's not
- 58:02Speaker 1: just you. His ex girlfriend broke up with him. He
- 58:05Speaker 1: scared a lot of females away when they saw him
- 58:09Speaker 1: for the first time, So it's not just you. Don't
- 58:12Speaker 1: put that on yourself. Don't take that all on yourself,
- 58:15Speaker 1: because it's not that and that's not your issue. Really,
- 58:18Speaker 1: your issue is size matters, and that's what you guys
- 58:22Speaker 1: really need to deal with, Uh, Steve, I go through
- 58:27Speaker 1: this a lot. Yeah, Uh, you know I got quiet
- 58:35Speaker 1: on this letter, very quiet because I had to listen carefully.
- 58:42Speaker 1: But this ain't about me. They always you know, you know,
- 58:53Speaker 1: I don't know what you think to start is letter is?
- 58:56Speaker 1: That's why I had it, But I had to read
- 58:57Speaker 1: in between the lines carevilly. It wasn't me, Oh, a
- 59:01Speaker 1: huge problem. When did you realize it? Well? You know,
- 59:05Speaker 1: it was boyfriend and girlfriend all this health. You know,
- 59:08Speaker 1: I swore, h, here's a problem. Though she cheated on
- 59:13Speaker 1: him and admitted it. Uh, that ain't ever good to
- 59:20Speaker 1: admit you cheated to anybody, man or woman. Don't admit
- 59:27Speaker 1: it that they don't know. They don't know. Don't walk
- 59:30Speaker 1: in the house, have a confession. It was just bother
- 59:33Speaker 1: in me. Let it bother you here. Hell's way worse
- 59:38Speaker 1: things can bother. Let that bother you, but don't walk
- 59:42Speaker 1: in the house. Tell it man or him. All right,
- 59:45Speaker 1: let's move. And I really thought always forgiving. But my
- 59:47Speaker 1: boyfriend had come fro trust issues with me. And here's why. See,
- 59:51Speaker 1: he got a high sex driving, So do I, but
- 59:54Speaker 1: I refuse to give in whenever he wants to have sex,
- 59:57Speaker 1: which is every day or every other day. He knows
- 59:59Speaker 1: it's actually why I don't want to do it as much.
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: It's called he's too damn He Yes, he's enormous and
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: I love it, but not every day. I just can't.
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: Then he told her you using that as excuse, But
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: he told her that his as girlfriend broke over here
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: because he was too much. So now we must talk
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: about this and get it out the way. Please, what
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: is it, Steve? We must talk about the types of
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: injuries bought a happening in this relationship, because that is
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: the major focal point where I ain't nobody trying to
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: get to seem like button me. Sherley won't dapple in
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: this area cause Sherley's very careful. I, on the other hand,
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: I am unders standing this woman's problem because this woman
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: is saying he's enormous, he too damn huge. These are
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: sis that happens. These are sexual injuries, things that happen
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: sexually but can be described in other ways. Thank you
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: for that. Let us start. The wall paper has come

- 1:03:28Speaker 1: let's recap today's strawberry letter subject to huge problem in
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: our relationship. Well, this woman has relationship with this man
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: and they don't have sex often as he won't too
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: which is every day every other day, because the problem
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: is he just too huge. He just too damn big,
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: is too much. She don't want to do this every day,
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: but she loved him and she loves it just too
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: much though. Now you know, so I've determined that what
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: the real cause of this letter is it sexual injuries.
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: These are things that is happening in now that's producing
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: some hurt in a lot of ways both him and hub.
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: Let's go over some of these. You can have a
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: problem called b DL. BDF normally comes from athletes, but
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: you can get BDF and him being as huge as
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: he is. Yeah, BDF stands for the basketball don't fit.
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: And we are just trying to keep this where we
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: can stay on the al but disgusted. You understand though
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: BdL is a certain it's just stands for the basketball
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: don't fit. If we move, and all you will throw.
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: I want you all to throw professions at me, and
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: I'll tell you how to go. Let's move on down
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: to the mechanic. His water pump don't fit over the gasket.
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: Wow about a truck driver a leak? His truck driver,
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: the trailer is too heavy for the cab. Get the
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: swung loose on the freeway and his wrecking hell and
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: causing accident. It's a pile up on the freeway because
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: bit Trump Johnson, it's slanging trailer all over the four five.
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: How about the fireman? The fireman is hell and no
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: fire stands a chance because he got the biggest holes
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: up to the fire truck and the water coming from everywhere.
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: He's able to attach himself to four five hundreds at
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: once and a fire don't stand Ain't that's the five man.
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: Let's move on to the plumber. The plumber ripped up
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: some pipes. Yeah the plumber, Uh got the snake out?
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: The rotor root of man is in the driveway. Got
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: any other perfect gardeners? The gardeners flowering every fry. Could
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: Lord here he come? He ain't even using regular garden tunes,
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: or he ain't garden hearing that digging up to feel
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: flowing every Friday, Howard Biden the zookeeper. The zookeeper can't
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: keep the monkey in the cage out the zoopkeeople, can't
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: keep the market in the cage, and can't Kong already loose.
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: The bartender is shaking up that big silver flash. What
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: you want to Moscow music? I asked you, did you
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: want some of this Moscot music? See, we can do this.
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: Clever about play football player? Or he get the first
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: down every time he stepped on the fields. First first down, sir,
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: Big Jack Johnson on the field, that's the first dollar, sir.
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: That's t y'alls work or construction work, hard hat. We
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: are welding the frame for the building, huh, And we're
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: pulling concrete, but there's some concrete that needs to be
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: removed first. So we're asking brother Jack Johnson to bring
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: the jack hamible bust just concrete though, so we can
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: get back to building. Brother Jack, come on out with
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: the jack Hamible so we can get back to building
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: our building. All right? What about a third surgeon. And
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: now you're laying on it. Huh, you're laying on it.
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: You've gotten comfortable. But you don't realize that that ain't
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: a guarney. That's me. I don't know who with the
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: bed sheet on me, but I thank you. You think
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: it's a guarney, But that's me. What about a chef
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: or shell? You're standing there waiting on it to happen.
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: You think he's about to pull out a knife. No,
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: it's a butcher block, big old huncle wood and how
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: many knives in that thing? It's a whole set of
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: gets to you, all right, chelf old boy r d
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: F chef boy ah. All right, look, we got to
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: get out of your email, at your Instagram, at your
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: thought for seure on today's strawberry letter at Steve Harvey
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: f M coming up in ten minutes. Warnings you should
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: have listened to Okay, we'll get into that right after this.
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: You're listening to show warnings you should have listened to
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: so on TV on the TV show we all love
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: we love this show, Game of Thrones. We can't talk
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: enough about it. Yes, we are the best TV show
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: every time. He John Snow has been telling everyone just
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: that Junior Winter is coming for seasons and now the
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: seven kingdoms are finally listening to him, or are they anyway?
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: Where you ever warned? It brings me to this where
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: you ever warned about something to come that you ignore
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: or you decided you deal with it when it comes,
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: and then regret not heating the foreshadowing sooner? Ye? So
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: what was it, Steve? And how did it all turn
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: out for you? I need the game and throwing music. Okay,
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: let's go. We got it, and we got it for you. Yeah. Yeah,
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: it was in the winter, Yes you're Grace, nineteen seventy three, Yes,
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: you're Grace. I was using my father's station wag. My
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: father told me home by one am. I was out
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: having a wonderful time. I decided to fifteen, what's the
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: time I would bring the car back. I pulled into
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: the driveway, walked up the backstairs, turned my key in
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: the door, stepped into the kitchen, turned around and locked
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: the door behind me. Walked past the refrigerator. On the
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: other side of the refrigerator was a short dog skinned
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: man slick card. His goal to crush me, to show
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: that I wasn't a man. I thought I was. He
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: knocked my ass clean through the dining rule. Who I
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: fell over a thirteen inch color TV with rabbit ears
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: on it. Your grace knocked the rabbit ears over, broke one.
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: He was there waiting, holding it in his hand when
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: I stood up and said, old, so now you're breaking
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: stuff you ain't got money to pay for. Sucker punched
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: me a second time. I flew over the coffee table,
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: knocked over a bowl of mints, landed on the couch
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: with the plastic on it, several cuts because the plastic
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: was old. The back of my triceps was bleeding from
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: the cutch. That I was a young man never to
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: take my father's car pass the our again because he
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: told me, don't your ass do that? That was it.
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: That was my Game of Thrones moment. Got knocked over
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: two thrones or TV and a coffee yeahs to prove it?
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: What about you telling me? Yeah, I know you got one,
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: but my mama gave me man, uh huh, come on,
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: get your game of Thrones. It was my mother. Other
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: gracefully told me as I was speaking back and talking
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: back to my mother in a manner and tones she
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: did not care for. And I my mother said, you
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: will as I say, I will knock you into next week.
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: I gracefully looked my mother and I said, book me
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: for Thursday. What have you lost your money? And I
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: was not smoothed the blade you. As my eyes opened,
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: that was my father standing over me, along with poor
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: white people, big huge white lights. And my daddy said,
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: you're going to leave your mama alone with your mother, boyadji,
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: And that's a true story. Leave both of you. You're wings.
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: We never take them seriously doing no. My mother, at
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: the middle age of thirty one, had eleven you old
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: boy who was not fully thinking. She told him, do
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: not put hangers behind the door. Take your hangers and
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: hang them in the closet. But the Alemnu I was
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: such a stubborn and foregoing young line live well. Them
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: hangers had built up behind that door. One morning before
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: my school. Yes, early in the morning, I'm in the bed,
- 1:15:30Speaker 1: comfortably sleep, ice shut height. Mother came in to wake me. Yes,
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: but she had trouble pushing that door. Hangers held as
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: strong as they could hold it off, old door, hold
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: it off. She broke in that room. We're on my knowing,
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: without warning, yank back the sheets, and with all the
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: fund of Zeus came upon my ass wall like coffee.
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: By that first strike, I woke up. I did not
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: know where I was. I'm looking around to what is
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: happening to me? Yes, you didn't. I'm not tell you
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: before the hang us behind the door, And to this
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: day you would not see a hang on. I go
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: into store. If I see a hang I pick it up.
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: Ass was wall like cough like. It's safe to say, Yes,
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: mother is coming, Mother coming to summarize your grace, Steve,
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: that I too shall develop one simply for the sake
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: of Claire, a tea and continuity. Yes, you're in closing.
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: I want to say for all of us who have
- 1:17:12Speaker 1: fought for better lives, who have griven ourselves to the Yeah,
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: let us know that it range trial coming up at
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: the top of the hour. Break up like a grown up.
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: We'll be back with more right after this. You're listening
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: to show. Well, guys, a breakup can be horrible when
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: you're the one getting dumped. I mean, we've all been there,
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: we know how it feels. But being the breaker upper
- 1:17:54Speaker 1: isn't always easy. That's not always easy, right, Yeah, because
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: you're the one that's going to hurt someone else you
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: know that you care about. Uh, you know, you can
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: make second guess yourself and wonder if you're really doing
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: the right thing. But ghosting isn't cool like texting someone
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: to break up. Okay, so here's some some decent ways
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: to break up, according to Cosmotolitan Cosmopolitan magazine. So, Steve,
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: I know you're going to jump in here if you
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: agree or disagree, or if you have your own thoughts
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: on breaking All right, this is about breaking up grown
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: folks style. We want you to be clear if you're
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: the breaker upper. People only end relationships when their partner
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: doesn't match their outlook, their values, their needs and desires anymore.
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: Otherwise you're still good, right outlook values good, you don't
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: outlook all that big? Yeah, if you don't. If they
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: don't match that, then you got to break up with them.
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: But if they don't, then you're good. They would, so
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: be clear, but just be clear. It is yeah, well
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: but you know it's you can They're saying you're good.
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: But a person can have all the qualities and you
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: just not like them. Oh okay, I see what I
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: think that can happen ahead, meaning the values and all
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: that can match up. Still, you just don't like you?
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: Like what I like? Yeah, eat what I eat? I
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: want to go where I want to go. But if
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: I don't like you, or why are you with them
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: in the first place? Charlotte, You you do want came
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: up with an adult break off? All right? Fall out
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: of love in your mind? In your mind? First m
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: it's only going to be okay, now, listen to this.
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: It's only going to be harder to end things if
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: you keep thinking about the happy times. So you got
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: to stop that, all right. When you're trying to build
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: up the strength to break up with someone, focus on
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: the top five negative moments of your relationship. This is
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: all according to Cus Talitan, Cosmopolitan Magazine. Cosmopolitan Magazine. This
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: is this is according to them. So, yeah, what do
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: you think. Let's let's hear your point. Yeah, I'm here
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: to help you. You know, I break up with you,
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: but keep doing it with you, you know what I mean,
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: because you're gonna need that's about you're going through this.
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying. That's not healthy. That's no,
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: that ain't time. I'm helping you get through what we're
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: going through. Thing that's unhealthy. No, it's not unhapy. It's
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: unhealthy without Steve jumping here anytime, Cello, chief Love officer. No,
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: so you need you need. It's two million three men
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: on this show. You need to see his side. But
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: what's your side? I'm William, you're with whom? What time? Break? Hey? Yeah,
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: that makes sense to me. Break up? But let's keep going.
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: I mean, I mean, come on, think about the show.
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: Let me say that we break up on a Thursday.
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: This is our first Friday apart, right, we'll be posted.
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: We've been doing it on Friday. Let's get back and
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: this makes absolute great sense. I don't know what the
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: people that call apologian talking about, but me and Tommy
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: and other Steve agreed, we've been doing it on Fridays.
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: Why stop? Now that's what guys think. Really, I don't
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: want you to think if I break up, Yeah, but
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: you still coming through? I want to talk then, Okay, Okay,
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: let's just talk about it and bad naked. Yeah, if
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: that's where we are, let me see if I made
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: a mistake. That's that's what you talking about. That's the question.
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: Let's see if I made a mistake. No, he's saying,
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: while we're laying down. Yeah, let's see if I made
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: a mistake, right, Yeah, all right, next moving on from that, ignorance,
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: be kind, very kind, but be strict. Okay. Break ups
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: are hard for both people, So be kind and be
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: respectful while you start to distance yourself. You see that,
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: while you start to distance yourself, but stay strong with
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: your boundary. All right, but it's kind. Yeah, miss many, this,
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: miss many? That many don't burn? No chicken, what don't
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: we tell about? Welcome to ignorant Wednesday. But I'm gonna
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: ask you nicely to get into bed. But then as
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: I do that, I'm gonna be fur when I say
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: it again. Could you please get into bed? No, get
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: your way? That works. Try it's a nice way, but
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: you like it. You like it when I'm direct, I am?
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: I am? Figure Okay, this is what else you have
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: to do, Guys, when you want to break up, you
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: know nicely, like grown ups should do. Figure out how
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: valuable they are? Figure it out? Okay, only you know
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: if this is a five minute breakup over coffee, a
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: sit down, dinner and discussion, or one last night, last
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: night of passion. Finally you said some we agree with
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: one last night of passion before Yeah, break up, yeah, no,
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: nobody want to know coffee, coffee, Nobody looking for no

- 1:23:55Speaker 1: are you guys? Top of that shirt? What you gotta?
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: How valuable? I don't set your price, I said in
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: mynd I know how valuable I am. Okay, I like that. Junior.
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: You have to allow these guys to You've got to
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: see more than one side, because that's actually how they think.
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: Yes it is, no, we have but junior single. Yeah,
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: when you're not hearing they answered the Strawberry letter, it's
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: pretty much like this, pretty much. Yeah, persona, but we
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: are representing the male community throne. All right, now, these
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: are some decent ways to break up. This is according
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: to Cosmopolitan magazine. The last one is focus on the
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: future when it's over. When it's over, it's time to
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: think about all the things you can do now, all
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: the things you can have and uh, you know, and
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: all the things you could be as a single person.
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: That's Cosmo what Jet Magazine. Okay, sure they read that
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: one more time. The last one, Steve, is focused on
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: the future. When it's over, It's time to think about
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: all the things you can now do, that you can

- 1:25:26Speaker 1: We'll be back. You're listening to the Steven Show. Charles
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: Barkley made a plea, a public plea for Lebron James
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: to join inside the NBA. He wanted him to join
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: the crew for the playoffs. But it seems like Lebron
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: might join the crew, as evidence by King James tweet
- 1:25:44Speaker 1: Sir Charles yesterday, Sir Charles, I actually do have a
- 1:25:48Speaker 1: ton going on, but I may take you up on
- 1:25:51Speaker 1: your offer. We shall see inside for the playoffs. Charles
- 1:25:57Speaker 1: car Lebron ro Bro Bro come on, Ron Ron Ron
- 1:26:07Speaker 1: Ron Hey, Ran come John Me, Kenny Shack, We Ernie

- 1:26:23Speaker 1: He got he got time. You all that hein' got
- 1:26:29Speaker 1: hey can do it every time. Charles Cardon, Hello, bro
- 1:26:34Speaker 1: Bron Hey, Roan Hey, come John bro Ran, Brannie looking
- 1:26:44Speaker 1: for you, Kenny Shack. We all want to come sit
- 1:26:47Speaker 1: on the inside the NBA Ron Ron. He put me
- 1:26:52Speaker 1: on a hole, all right, said Junior. We're gonna go
- 1:26:59Speaker 1: from the NBA to the NFL. Now, So what's up
- 1:27:02Speaker 1: with Sierra's husband? Uh? Wow, come go ahead. R RO
- 1:27:13Speaker 1: sixty five million guaranteed one hundred and forty million four
- 1:27:16Speaker 1: years when sixty five million dollars signing bonus. Yeah, that's it,
- 1:27:22Speaker 1: guaranteed money, Carl Love. Yes, we're so happy for Sierra
- 1:27:27Speaker 1: man when it was we didn't work out, didn't work out, Yes,
- 1:27:31Speaker 1: it would happen, would happen. Yeah, she held out for
- 1:27:35Speaker 1: the big bucks. Yes, but they really do love each other. Yeah,
- 1:27:40Speaker 1: we're rooting for them. Yes, Love. I met him at
- 1:27:43Speaker 1: the NFL. Really really nice couple. Yeah, and beautiful and
- 1:27:48Speaker 1: their children are beautiful and I love them. Yeah, it's
- 1:27:52Speaker 1: future Junior. Donna change his name every time a future Westbrook. No,
- 1:27:59Speaker 1: Wilson will. I don't think you're gonna do that. But
- 1:28:06Speaker 1: he has called him dad right now. This is a
- 1:28:13Speaker 1: second major contract though, first of all for eighty million,
- 1:28:16Speaker 1: then you backdoor with a hunting forty. Do you feel
- 1:28:20Speaker 1: like he should be the highest paid player? I mean,
- 1:28:23Speaker 1: I see absolutely no reason why he shouldn't. But you
- 1:28:28Speaker 1: have to remember one key thing about negotiating, it's not
- 1:28:33Speaker 1: what you're worth, it's what you can negotiate. So that's
- 1:28:37Speaker 1: what they settled for. What did he ask for? He
- 1:28:43Speaker 1: is out there crazy, but at one point in time,
- 1:28:49Speaker 1: I'm pretty sure the request was made to be the
- 1:28:51Speaker 1: highest paid player. That's how you get to that point.
- 1:28:55Speaker 1: Oh okay. His agent said to somebody, he's looking to
- 1:29:00Speaker 1: be the highest paid plan. If you guys want to
- 1:29:03Speaker 1: hang on to him, I think that's where we need
- 1:29:05Speaker 1: to be. Yeah, now let me ask a question. What
- 1:29:09Speaker 1: does it mean? So guaranteed he's getting sixty five? All
- 1:29:12Speaker 1: he said? So what does pickin a day? Oh okay,
- 1:29:16Speaker 1: But as long as he's playing, he gets the rest
- 1:29:18Speaker 1: of it. Oh okay. A football wants you to get
- 1:29:20Speaker 1: hurt and you get out and you're not playing or
- 1:29:23Speaker 1: they or they cut you. Oh okay. All right, Well
- 1:29:30Speaker 1: we'll be back with more of the Steve Harvey Morning
- 1:29:32Speaker 1: Show right after this. Go Sierra, did you see him
- 1:29:36Speaker 1: on a gray you're listening to Steven Show? All right.
- 1:29:44Speaker 1: Today's trending story, uh is Steve Harvey's viral video and
- 1:29:48Speaker 1: his emotional, powerful interview with mister Ranni's Pace Uh, Steve,
- 1:29:53Speaker 1: mister Rannis was so inspiring. Uh, and you really brought
- 1:29:57Speaker 1: everyone to tears. Take a listen to this. You know,
- 1:30:01Speaker 1: my mama raised me too, she says, Steve, God gonna
- 1:30:07Speaker 1: get your big house on the hill. One day, he said,
- 1:30:10Speaker 1: but you can't get on the hill and don't tell
- 1:30:12Speaker 1: nobody else how to get up there. That was the
- 1:30:18Speaker 1: hardest thing I ever did you know that tell her
- 1:30:22Speaker 1: doctor take my mama off life support. Oh my god.
- 1:30:28Speaker 1: I suffered with that for a long time. You know.
- 1:30:32Speaker 1: So I was raised where she in heaven? Now? You know? Yes,
- 1:30:36Speaker 1: yes she watches me, Yes, yes, sir. I just hope
- 1:30:41Speaker 1: she's seeing today, Yes, sir, watching this moment right here,
- 1:30:45Speaker 1: Yes sir, I really only it is not straighten up,
- 1:30:49Speaker 1: start doing right because I just want to see her,
- 1:30:53Speaker 1: yes sir, Yes you don't see her? Oh amen? Wow
- 1:30:57Speaker 1: se wow Wow. Was on yesterday. I mean it got
- 1:31:05Speaker 1: taped a couple of weeks ago, I think. But it
- 1:31:10Speaker 1: sort of crazy, man, I was. Somebody sent it to
- 1:31:14Speaker 1: me on Steve Harvey f film And you know it's
- 1:31:19Speaker 1: sort of crazy man. You know you try not tell
- 1:31:22Speaker 1: you know, it's it's almost like I don't care what
- 1:31:24Speaker 1: you do. It's an amazing thing, man, that I really
- 1:31:28Speaker 1: had to come to terms with the purpose of haters,
- 1:31:33Speaker 1: because you know, I was when I had a Victoria
- 1:31:36Speaker 1: Oldstein on the show the other week and she said
- 1:31:41Speaker 1: something that I had never quite heard put that way.
- 1:31:45Speaker 1: She said that the devil is not interested in you.
- 1:31:49Speaker 1: He's just interested in making sure you don't get to
- 1:31:53Speaker 1: your destiny. That the devil's real interest is not you
- 1:31:58Speaker 1: because he don't care nothing about you. But what his
- 1:32:01Speaker 1: job is to be a deterrent so that you don't
- 1:32:04Speaker 1: ever get to your destiny. And so what I've learned
- 1:32:08Speaker 1: about the trolls and the haters that they're actually doing
- 1:32:13Speaker 1: work for Satan. They're his imps and their job is
- 1:32:17Speaker 1: to throw you off course, yeah, man, it's to keep
- 1:32:22Speaker 1: you out of your destiny. And it's sort of crazy, man,
- 1:32:26Speaker 1: because you look at some of the comments I was.
- 1:32:28Speaker 1: I just read some comments that this girl had sent
- 1:32:31Speaker 1: me from Steve Harvey's FM. Everything was so positive. It's
- 1:32:36Speaker 1: like crazy, like I'm not really messed up about this anything.
- 1:32:39Speaker 1: And you know, because I've really come to the term
- 1:32:42Speaker 1: of understanding and this one woman in the middle of
- 1:32:45Speaker 1: all of this positivity, you know, people remember they mother
- 1:32:49Speaker 1: and remembering how hard it is for them to difficult.
- 1:32:53Speaker 1: You know, everybody on this show, you know, I mean,
- 1:32:57Speaker 1: you know what the acceptance of Tommy, but Tommy the
- 1:32:59Speaker 1: loss his day. So I mean we all have felt
- 1:33:02Speaker 1: power or lost here. Yeah, yeah, you know. And so
- 1:33:05Speaker 1: you know, even in the middle of that, when the
- 1:33:08Speaker 1: people are just grappling with that, Uh, this woman said,
- 1:33:13Speaker 1: I don't really care for Steve Harvey. And if you're
- 1:33:16Speaker 1: not careful, these little comments that you hear can can
- 1:33:20Speaker 1: help you miss the real valid point of what the
- 1:33:24Speaker 1: whole mission of the interview was supposed to do. All right,
- 1:33:29Speaker 1: we'll be back with the last break of the day
- 1:33:31Speaker 1: and some closing remarks from the one and only Steve
- 1:33:34Speaker 1: Harvey right after this you're listening to all right, Steve,
- 1:33:40Speaker 1: here we are last break of the day on this
- 1:33:42Speaker 1: Wednesday hump day. You have some closing remarks for us. Yeah,
- 1:33:47Speaker 1: you do. You know. Um, I want to talk to
- 1:33:51Speaker 1: everybody today in in another form of encouragement, to talk
- 1:33:55Speaker 1: to you about being uncomfortable and um it's it's something
- 1:34:01Speaker 1: that's a little unnerving to almost everybody. I mean, most
- 1:34:05Speaker 1: people like being comfortable. Nobody really really wants to be uncomfortable,
- 1:34:09Speaker 1: but I want to share something with you. Okay, let
- 1:34:15Speaker 1: me start this way for you, because I'm trying to
- 1:34:17Speaker 1: find a way to put it together. You know, when
- 1:34:23Speaker 1: when you get out your comfort zone, the reason you
- 1:34:27Speaker 1: don't like it is because you feel out of control.
- 1:34:33Speaker 1: You know, your comfort zone offers you a level of security.
- 1:34:37Speaker 1: When you're in your comfort zone, you feel as though, Okay,
- 1:34:41Speaker 1: it's safe right here, I can function, I can handle
- 1:34:45Speaker 1: it because I'm in my comfort zone. If you step
- 1:34:49Speaker 1: out of your comfort zone, you begin to feel a
- 1:34:51Speaker 1: little bit out of control, your little unnerved, Your routines
- 1:34:55Speaker 1: are not running smoothly. You You feel better when you're
- 1:35:00Speaker 1: in your comfort zone. Because the average person I've discovered
- 1:35:04Speaker 1: likes predictability. The average person I've discovered likes routine. Now,
- 1:35:09Speaker 1: if you don't like predictability and you don't like routine,
- 1:35:13Speaker 1: then you're one of the rare individuals. Most people do.
- 1:35:16Speaker 1: Weigh all better when they're when they're when they're in
- 1:35:19Speaker 1: a routine, when they when they know what's coming and
- 1:35:21Speaker 1: what's what's happening. Well, God, what God does for you
- 1:35:27Speaker 1: is he really does want you to step outside of
- 1:35:30Speaker 1: your comfort zone, because your comfort outside of your comfort
- 1:35:34Speaker 1: zone is where a lot of blessings lay. You know.
- 1:35:37Speaker 1: I heard Will Smith say one time, the best things
- 1:35:40Speaker 1: in life on the other side of fear. Well, it's
- 1:35:43Speaker 1: also true that the best things in life that you
- 1:35:47Speaker 1: can attain are outside of your comfort zone. And so
- 1:35:52Speaker 1: I want you to understand something about when you get
- 1:35:54Speaker 1: forced out of a comfort zone, you get laid off,
- 1:35:59Speaker 1: somebody break up with you, you get told something negative
- 1:36:04Speaker 1: gonna happen, We're closing the plan, We're canceling you. Uh,
- 1:36:10Speaker 1: You're you're not gonna be able to come through. I
- 1:36:12Speaker 1: cancel a meeting. I know you was counting on her,
- 1:36:15Speaker 1: but I'm not dealing with that today. When you are
- 1:36:19Speaker 1: shaking out of your comfort zone, out of your comfortable routines,
- 1:36:25Speaker 1: I want you to understand what God is actually doing
- 1:36:28Speaker 1: for you. God is actually providing for you in that moment,
- 1:36:34Speaker 1: some growth opportunities. I found this to be true over
- 1:36:38Speaker 1: and over. So you are when you when you step
- 1:36:41Speaker 1: outside of your comfort zone or you're kicked outside your
- 1:36:44Speaker 1: comfort zone. Either way, you get outside your comfort zone
- 1:36:49Speaker 1: and there's a growth opportunity there for you. So instead
- 1:36:53Speaker 1: of you know, complaining about the loss of your comfort
- 1:36:57Speaker 1: instead of bemoaning the fact that all me, Oh my,
- 1:37:02Speaker 1: you know, I'm about to be uncomfortable. I got laid off,
- 1:37:05Speaker 1: I lost my job. They canceled this, They did this
- 1:37:09Speaker 1: to me, They canceled me. Now was counting on. Instead
- 1:37:13Speaker 1: of acting that way, I want you accept the challenge
- 1:37:21Speaker 1: of something new that's about to happen in your life.
- 1:37:24Speaker 1: Start accepting that because that's the only way change occurs.
- 1:37:29Speaker 1: Growth the curs. Excuse me, that's the only way growth occurs.
- 1:37:33Speaker 1: Growth the curs only when change is made. Nothing grows
- 1:37:38Speaker 1: by staying the same. Every growth moment comes along with change.
- 1:37:44Speaker 1: So embrace your change. When you get kicked out your
- 1:37:46Speaker 1: comfort zone, whether you step out or get kicked out,
- 1:37:50Speaker 1: I want you to look for the challenge or something new.
- 1:37:53Speaker 1: Because one thing about God, he don't close a door
- 1:37:56Speaker 1: without opening another one. I heard it saying read somewhere
- 1:38:00Speaker 1: that it says God takes you from glory to glory.
- 1:38:05Speaker 1: So if you're in a glorious situation and then all
- 1:38:09Speaker 1: of a sudden, a tragedy besets you, or setback, befalls you,
- 1:38:15Speaker 1: or something happens to knock you off the course of
- 1:38:17Speaker 1: the path, quit tripping man, because when that door closes,
- 1:38:23Speaker 1: God leads us from glory to glory. He takes us
- 1:38:27Speaker 1: from one great position to another great position. But you
- 1:38:31Speaker 1: gotta deal with the transition period. You've got to get
- 1:38:36Speaker 1: okay with being uncomfortable, because the best things in life
- 1:38:40Speaker 1: for you are when you're uncomfortable. You're gonna have to
- 1:38:43Speaker 1: get all right with that. See. I've learned in my
- 1:38:46Speaker 1: life to be comfortable being uncomfortable. I've made it a
- 1:38:51Speaker 1: habit of just being okay being uncomfortable. I know my
- 1:38:55Speaker 1: work schedule is crazy to most people. Can I tell
- 1:38:59Speaker 1: y'all something? It's crazy to me too sometimes, And I
- 1:39:02Speaker 1: wonder why I take all this, But I understand something though.
- 1:39:07Speaker 1: I got to get outside my comfort zone. If I
- 1:39:09Speaker 1: want some things in life that are just out on
- 1:39:12Speaker 1: the other side of it, and everything I want right
- 1:39:15Speaker 1: now in my life happens to be on the outside
- 1:39:18Speaker 1: of my comfort zone because what I got now at all,
- 1:39:21Speaker 1: it's in here. I just happen to want some other things.
- 1:39:24Speaker 1: It's nothing wrong with that. So I'm willing to step
- 1:39:27Speaker 1: outside my comfortable comfort zone. I'm actually willing to be
- 1:39:31Speaker 1: comfortable being uncomfortable. That can produce a heck of a life.
- 1:39:36Speaker 1: So when you get pushed out your comfort zone, everybody,
- 1:39:38Speaker 1: don't panic. Don't sweat it. Sometimes God is taking you
- 1:39:42Speaker 1: from glory to glory, but there's a transition period. There's
- 1:39:46Speaker 1: a period where you just gotta just go Wait. There's
- 1:39:51Speaker 1: a period here that I'm going through. But God must
- 1:39:54Speaker 1: have something else for me, because God don't close a
- 1:39:56Speaker 1: door without opening another. That's it. Y'all have agreement, Thank you, sir.
