- 0:15Speaker 1: the million bucks things and the cubs me true good it.
- 0:21Speaker 1: Steve Hary listening to the movie Together for Studley. I
- 0:38Speaker 1: don't join by join me in doing me. You gotta
- 1:01Speaker 1: turn you, you gotta turn to turn them out. Turn,
- 1:42Speaker 1: you got to turn them out. Then turn the water
- 1:47Speaker 1: the water go. Come come on your back. Uh huh,
- 2:02Speaker 1: I shall will. Good morning everybody. You're listening to the voice,
- 2:07Speaker 1: Come on dig me now, one and only Steve Harvey
- 2:10Speaker 1: Man got a radio show. Wow man, how good has
- 2:13Speaker 1: God been to me? You know? Today? Let me get
- 2:16Speaker 1: right to it because I'm I'm kind of feeling this today,
- 2:19Speaker 1: and I'm pretty sure that's just quite a few of
- 2:22Speaker 1: you who go through the same things today. Today was
- 2:26Speaker 1: just a little tough morning for me because I didn't
- 2:30Speaker 1: want to leave home yesterday. You don't want to stay
- 2:33Speaker 1: home a little I just gotten home, you know, I
- 2:35Speaker 1: gotta go again. And sometimes, you know, just the weight
- 2:39Speaker 1: of all that you have to do just gets on
- 2:42Speaker 1: you sometimes and sometimes you don't feel like doing it today. Huh.
- 2:48Speaker 1: You know, I'm just talking to those who feel this
- 2:51Speaker 1: way every now and then, and I'm assuming that would
- 2:53Speaker 1: be everybody, because I don't know nobody who can just
- 2:56Speaker 1: ply through this thing without having those days. Well, what
- 3:00Speaker 1: do you do when it gets hard to stay up?
- 3:05Speaker 1: What do you do when it gets hard to be positive?
- 3:09Speaker 1: What do you do when it seems like things aren't
- 3:12Speaker 1: happening for you fast enough or in the time frame
- 3:16Speaker 1: that you thought it was going. What do you do?
- 3:19Speaker 1: And the reason that I guess I chose to speak
- 3:22Speaker 1: about this this morning is because I'm having one of
- 3:24Speaker 1: those days. Because I had one of those days yesterday.
- 3:28Speaker 1: It's just a tough day. I really can't explain. It's
- 3:30Speaker 1: nothing really in particular bad happened. It's just I think
- 3:37Speaker 1: the weight of all that's going on started to feel
- 3:43Speaker 1: heavy to me. Not being able to sit down with
- 3:49Speaker 1: my wife and talk some of these things through so
- 3:51Speaker 1: she could help me out. That kind of got to
- 3:54Speaker 1: me yesterday because she had to go take care of
- 3:56Speaker 1: some business. I had to go take care of some business.
- 3:59Speaker 1: When she got it was late, you know. I got
- 4:01Speaker 1: in it was late, you know, And so I guess
- 4:05Speaker 1: so so it sort of pushed me into this thing. Now,
- 4:09Speaker 1: I didn't have nobody talk to about it. And so
- 4:13Speaker 1: what do you do when you when when you have
- 4:15Speaker 1: days like that, when it's hard to be positive, when
- 4:17Speaker 1: it's hard to stay up. Okay, here's what I had
- 4:20Speaker 1: to start doing this morning. Now I haven't completed it.
- 4:24Speaker 1: Can I just be real with you. I haven't completed it,
- 4:28Speaker 1: excuse me, but I am processing it out because I
- 4:33Speaker 1: know what to do, because I've been here hundreds of
- 4:37Speaker 1: times before. See. That's that's the cool thing about getting older.
- 4:42Speaker 1: That's the cool thing about life is that you gained
- 4:45Speaker 1: experiences along the way. You know, been there, done that.
- 4:48Speaker 1: I didn't had that pain before. I know what to do.
- 4:50Speaker 1: You know, if I sprained my finger, I know what
- 4:52Speaker 1: to do now. You know the first sprain I had
- 4:54Speaker 1: a Lord, I thought it was broke. I thought I
- 4:56Speaker 1: gonna be handac half. I didn't know how I was
- 4:59Speaker 1: gonna fix it all. Lord, what now I can't write
- 5:02Speaker 1: no mold? Now maybe I can don't have to go
- 5:04Speaker 1: to school. I was working all kinds of stuff I
- 5:06Speaker 1: when I first sprained my finger. But now if I
- 5:09Speaker 1: sprained my finger, I know what to do. So since
- 5:11Speaker 1: I've been in this position, in this hole, so many
- 5:14Speaker 1: times before, and God has always gotten me through it.
- 5:17Speaker 1: I decided I've got to start the process today. Want
- 5:21Speaker 1: to here are some things now. I'm going to get
- 5:24Speaker 1: to the big one last, but here are some things
- 5:27Speaker 1: that you can do immediately to start pulling yourself up.
- 5:32Speaker 1: And one of the things I do is I remember
- 5:36Speaker 1: the plan. I just sit down and consciously remember the plan.
- 5:42Speaker 1: Sit down and I consciously think about the goals I've set.
- 5:47Speaker 1: I go over them. See, I've got mine down on
- 5:49Speaker 1: an iPad so I can pull them out anywhere I
- 5:52Speaker 1: am and pull them up. And I've got two lists
- 5:54Speaker 1: that I've made. I've got a list of things that
- 5:57Speaker 1: I know I can accomplish if I just keep working
- 6:00Speaker 1: hard and if some couple of things just fall into
- 6:04Speaker 1: place that I can see. Then I got a list
- 6:07Speaker 1: of things that I'm planning on accomplishing. And then I
- 6:10Speaker 1: have a second list. And the heading of this list
- 6:14Speaker 1: is called only God can help Me Now. And on
- 6:17Speaker 1: this list, it's things that I'm aspiring for or things
- 6:22Speaker 1: that I'm hoping to that in order for them to happen,
- 6:25Speaker 1: I absolutely have to have God's help. That's my favorite list.
- 6:33Speaker 1: It's the list that I have of the things that
- 6:36Speaker 1: I don't see, no way it can happen. I'm just
- 6:40Speaker 1: operating on faith and the hope that God hear me,
- 6:44Speaker 1: and so sometimes, man, when you gotta when I have
- 6:48Speaker 1: this list of who only God can help me, now
- 6:52Speaker 1: that list is stuff that I cannot see. I'm just
- 6:56Speaker 1: operating on faith that God is so much bigger than me,
- 7:00Speaker 1: that he's so much more capable than I am, that
- 7:03Speaker 1: I can actually acquire some things in my life, as
- 7:06Speaker 1: He's proven to me time and time again up to
- 7:08Speaker 1: this point, that He's willing to do for me if
- 7:11Speaker 1: I'm willing to just give him some of my life.
- 7:14Speaker 1: That's the only why I can't explain my existence today.
- 7:17Speaker 1: You know, I began the conversation with my wife, how
- 7:21Speaker 1: do I write a book that becomes so wildly successful?
- 7:25Speaker 1: That would be God. That's only God. Because if you
- 7:29Speaker 1: can plan to sit down and write a wildly successful book,
- 7:32Speaker 1: I'd have Benden sat down and did it, and so
- 7:34Speaker 1: would you, So that would be God. How it got
- 7:39Speaker 1: purchased to become a movie when that was not my
- 7:42Speaker 1: intent when I wrote the book at all. Again, that
- 7:46Speaker 1: would be God. Right, there has to be because if
- 7:50Speaker 1: I can't explain it, and it is by no doing
- 7:53Speaker 1: of my own. Then who did it? So when I
- 7:55Speaker 1: get down in days like this, I remember the goal
- 7:59Speaker 1: I remember, but the plan, I remember the journey. I
- 8:02Speaker 1: think about of all the things God has bought me
- 8:05Speaker 1: to how did I even get to this point. Yeah?
- 8:07Speaker 1: I might be having a little bummer of a day.
- 8:09Speaker 1: Yeah I was a little down yesterday. Yeah, my bio
- 8:12Speaker 1: rhythms is off, whatever they want to call it. Yeah,
- 8:15Speaker 1: I'm just having one of those days. I feel a
- 8:16Speaker 1: little bit heavy. I need a vacation real bad. I
- 8:20Speaker 1: need some time off to just go and regenerate. But
- 8:23Speaker 1: right now, man, I ain't got that. So guess what
- 8:25Speaker 1: I do. I gotta start remembering the plan. I gotta
- 8:29Speaker 1: start remembering the goals. I gotta start thinking about all
- 8:32Speaker 1: the things that God has done for me and how
- 8:34Speaker 1: He has bought me this far and the blessings that
- 8:36Speaker 1: I have instead of what I don't have. And that's
- 8:39Speaker 1: what I'm in the process of doing this morning. And
- 8:41Speaker 1: on the commercial breaks, I'm gonna pull out my iPad
- 8:44Speaker 1: and I'm gonna go over my two lists and I'm
- 8:46Speaker 1: gonna read my little list of what I think I
- 8:48Speaker 1: can accomplish. And I'm gonna really read that only God
- 8:51Speaker 1: can help Me now list, because that's the list that's big.
- 8:54Speaker 1: That's the part where I've been telling y'all. I said,
- 8:56Speaker 1: quit telling God how big your problems, and start telling
- 9:01Speaker 1: your problems how big your God is. See, And that's
- 9:04Speaker 1: why I got to sit down to do this morning.
- 9:06Speaker 1: And then sometimes, man, you got to stay still. That's
- 9:11Speaker 1: the other part. You got to stay still. You gotta
- 9:15Speaker 1: quit moving for a second, because sometimes it feel like
- 9:18Speaker 1: you're running on a treadmill and you really ain't you
- 9:21Speaker 1: going somewhere, but it feel like you're running on a treadmill. Well,
- 9:25Speaker 1: when you get that feeling, sometimes you got to stay still.
- 9:29Speaker 1: And then when you stay still, sometimes you gotta fight
- 9:32Speaker 1: to stay positive. Sometimes you gotta fight not to let
- 9:35Speaker 1: the devil win. You're in a fight, mam. I told
- 9:37Speaker 1: you this. Now, you're in a fight now. So trying
- 9:39Speaker 1: to get you to get on that positive train so
- 9:42Speaker 1: he can get you off the faith train. So God's
- 9:44Speaker 1: delivery package that's coming to you built on your faith
- 9:47Speaker 1: that you can he can shake your faith and get
- 9:49Speaker 1: you to thinking negative and then he wins. See. So
- 9:52Speaker 1: when you start feeling negative. Just know that that's the
- 9:55Speaker 1: other force trying to throw your off track. And when
- 9:57Speaker 1: you get through it all that here is the key
- 9:59Speaker 1: to build. When you want me to tell it to you,
- 10:01Speaker 1: you gots to pray, man, You got to pray. You
- 10:04Speaker 1: gotta take it to God. You gotta say, hey, God,
- 10:06Speaker 1: look I'm having one of these days. I need your help.
- 10:09Speaker 1: I got business to take care of. You got blessings
- 10:12Speaker 1: in front of me. You got stuff you to ship
- 10:14Speaker 1: to me. You got blessings and packages that's on the way.
- 10:17Speaker 1: I need to be sitting on Faith streets so I
- 10:18Speaker 1: can receive the delivery when you get there. What I
- 10:21Speaker 1: don't want to do is be it on be on
- 10:23Speaker 1: doubted Way or or Lack of Understanding Parkway, or Pity
- 10:29Speaker 1: Parkway or some street like that, and the package keep
- 10:33Speaker 1: going by. I need to be standing and sitting on
- 10:36Speaker 1: Faith Street so when you drop that package down to me,
- 10:39Speaker 1: I can go on and get it. You feel me.
- 10:41Speaker 1: You gots to pray. You got to stay still, You
- 10:44Speaker 1: gotta fight to stay positive. You gotta remember the plan.
- 10:47Speaker 1: You gotta go over the goals. Come on, man, God
- 10:50Speaker 1: and brought you too far. Come on, pick yourself up today.
- 10:53Speaker 1: I'm talking to Steve Harvey this morning. Hope y'all didn't

- 12:13Speaker 1: no paper on the ground, that are no homeless people here, no, no, no,
- 12:19Speaker 1: none of that everybody over here can work. If you
- 12:23Speaker 1: want to work, there's worked for you. And there's no crime.
- 12:29Speaker 1: I've only been to Dubai and to Abu Dhabi. It's
- 12:32Speaker 1: the only place that you can walk and you don't
- 12:35Speaker 1: have to look over your shoulder at all. Now they're
- 12:39Speaker 1: aggressive with selfish, oh are they Okay, they're very aggressive
- 12:43Speaker 1: with selfish. Okay, I can handle that. And you know,
- 12:50Speaker 1: other than that, that's I mean, man, there's no crime.
- 12:54Speaker 1: They're very respectful, they're very pleasant. I mean, I ain't
- 12:59Speaker 1: seen nothing over here, man. I mean, I'm not saying
- 13:01Speaker 1: it doesn't happen, but you know, it's it's nothing visible
- 13:05Speaker 1: for you. And crime is very very low to non existence.
- 13:10Speaker 1: And they have everything every day. I don't care what
- 13:14Speaker 1: story you want. They have ski ski slopes inside of malls.
- 13:19Speaker 1: They've got ice cream. Yeah, you can go ski in
- 13:23Speaker 1: the mall. Oh like, whoa, that is so flip, you know, ladies,
- 13:32Speaker 1: you they got malls over here where each floor is
- 13:35Speaker 1: a different you know, like there's a floor with just purses.
- 13:40Speaker 1: It's a floor with just just then floors with just
- 13:43Speaker 1: women shoes. The big mall, which my kids love to
- 13:48Speaker 1: go to. You can't see it in a day. It's
- 13:52Speaker 1: it's really something fabulous. Uh. I stay on the palm
- 13:56Speaker 1: the majority of times I've come here. This is my
- 13:58Speaker 1: about six trips. But they've got the world's largest hotel
- 14:03Speaker 1: pool swimming pool over here. They got some stuff over him. Man,
- 14:07Speaker 1: we have got to see and the people are absolutely beautiful.
- 14:10Speaker 1: It's a different culture. They got some rules over here.
- 14:13Speaker 1: Just come over here, respected culture. You have a great time.
- 14:16Speaker 1: I want to hear about the rules. Okay, all right, listen,
- 14:20Speaker 1: coming up at thirty two after the hour, inside of
- 14:22Speaker 1: Something Funny a Virginia. A Virginia woman won the state
- 14:26Speaker 1: lottery thirty times. And check this out. The powerball lottery
- 14:32Speaker 1: drawing is tonight, so right in front of her. You
- 14:39Speaker 1: better hope it ain't. Mate. We'll talk about it right
- 14:41Speaker 1: after this. You're listening to show, you know, some people
- 14:47Speaker 1: just have all the luck. I mean, that's what the
- 14:49Speaker 1: saying says, and apparently that's what's happening here. This woman
- 14:53Speaker 1: named Deborah Brown definitely is that person. She's from Virginia.
- 14:58Speaker 1: She's from Virginia. She's a sister. Carlin just said she's
- 15:01Speaker 1: a sister. She won the state lottery thirty times last month,
- 15:05Speaker 1: after she bought thirty pick four tickets with the exact
- 15:09Speaker 1: same combination of one zero, three, one ten thirty one
- 15:14Speaker 1: number Yeah, Deborah Brown initially bought Yeah, Deborah Brown initially
- 15:19Speaker 1: initially brought bought twenty tickets with that combination. She bought
- 15:23Speaker 1: it at a gas station. She said, a couple of
- 15:25Speaker 1: times during the day, I saw those numbers. So later
- 15:28Speaker 1: that day she bought ten more tickets at the same
- 15:31Speaker 1: location with the same numbers. Each winning ticket earned her
- 15:35Speaker 1: a five thousand dollar prize. Okay, yeah, so her total
- 15:41Speaker 1: winnings add up to one hundred and fifty thousand dollars. Steve,
- 15:44Speaker 1: which in the same day she in the same dirty
- 15:47Speaker 1: times with all those tickets the same day, the same ticket. Well,
- 15:52Speaker 1: she said, she had a ticket won. She just kept winning.
- 15:57Speaker 1: She bought twenty tickets initially, then she went back around
- 16:01Speaker 1: back again and bought ten more. So that's thirty And
- 16:03Speaker 1: she said she saw those numbers, that combination of numbers,
- 16:07Speaker 1: and she just went back and bought them again. What
- 16:10Speaker 1: game is she playing? It's just four numbers, right four
- 16:18Speaker 1: that the Virginia Lottery is tonight a hunt tonight is
- 16:21Speaker 1: a powerball jack Pottowall over four hundred and forty eight
- 16:26Speaker 1: million dollars k Junior four hundred forty eight million. It
- 16:31Speaker 1: could be over that late only day. Go ahead. Let's
- 16:34Speaker 1: just say, do you you could take it over a
- 16:37Speaker 1: twenty thirty year period or something like that, and or
- 16:40Speaker 1: you could take the bout. Let's say the buyout is
- 16:43Speaker 1: three hundred million. First thing, I'm gonna have to get
- 16:46Speaker 1: eight planes. Don't ask me why I'm getting eight. If
- 16:50Speaker 1: they tend if they ten million a piece, that's eighty
- 16:52Speaker 1: million dollars right, yeah, at ten plans. Then I would
- 16:56Speaker 1: like to have a house, if you don't mind a little,
- 16:58Speaker 1: I would have two house in Brazil. And I'm gonna
- 17:00Speaker 1: have a Cuban family. Y'all not gonna know about It's
- 17:04Speaker 1: gonna come up stupid. Now you're gonna hear about it.
- 17:07Speaker 1: Who is these people that's not speaking correct English? That
- 17:10Speaker 1: is my Cuban family. He did, I've have an American
- 17:12Speaker 1: family too. I'm gonna be married twice in two different counts.
- 17:14Speaker 1: I got three hundred millions. Why I can't. I'm gonna
- 17:20Speaker 1: change your number, Yes, changed my number. Because you've been
- 17:23Speaker 1: to be broke so fast with the made plane. Okay,
- 17:28Speaker 1: you're on Eve one, Junior, can't flying by one plane, Shirley. Okay,
- 17:31Speaker 1: you got two hundred and fifty million. What you're gonna do? Okay, Okay, Shirley,
- 17:37Speaker 1: I just found out from calling cash value. If you're
- 17:39Speaker 1: taking it right now? Two hundred and seventy one meal,
- 17:42Speaker 1: I love. You got two hundred and seventy million. What
- 17:44Speaker 1: you're gonna do? Well, Okay, I learned from the last
- 17:47Speaker 1: time you asked this question. I'm gonna get a financial
- 17:49Speaker 1: planner first, but I am gonna buy a house. While
- 17:52Speaker 1: I'm trying to figure out which financial planner I'm going with.
- 17:54Speaker 1: How much is the house? Ten million? I'll just say
- 17:57Speaker 1: ten millions. That's a good one. Yeah, that's a hell
- 18:01Speaker 1: of crib. Yeah, it ain't gonna be no hell of
- 18:05Speaker 1: crib in LA. But three bedroom, two baths in LA?
- 18:08Speaker 1: Right you Okay, go ahead. Yeah, And I'll probably invest
- 18:14Speaker 1: in in real estate. That's where I'll invest in real estate. Okay, caller, Yes,
- 18:21Speaker 1: two hundred and seventy one million. What you're gonna do? Okay,
- 18:24Speaker 1: First of all, I'm gonna get a house twenty five
- 18:26Speaker 1: million dollars. I'm gonna get a lambo with rim. Gotta
- 18:36Speaker 1: have rams on the lambo two lambos. Let's see. Then
- 18:40Speaker 1: I'm I'm gonna get some money to the church. I am.
- 18:43Speaker 1: I'm gonna get some money to the church. My jury
- 18:46Speaker 1: game is bananas like a diamond. Then I'm gonna invest.
- 18:57Speaker 1: I am gonna invest, Steve, you always talk about investing.
- 18:59Speaker 1: I can I do? We do that now? Me and
- 19:01Speaker 1: my husband's I will invest. And then I'm still gonna
- 19:04Speaker 1: walk up the four people and just slap the heck
- 19:07Speaker 1: out of them. Here we go, time back to seventy million?
- 19:15Speaker 1: What you gonna do? I'm actually I'm gonna be honest
- 19:19Speaker 1: with y'all. Now, I'm gonna do everything most of y'all doing. Yeah,
- 19:24Speaker 1: but but I can't do that first? All right? What
- 19:28Speaker 1: do you mean, Junior? With the with the families and
- 19:30Speaker 1: you with the house and lamble. I'm gonna have all that, Okay,
- 19:34Speaker 1: but I can't have all that, yeah until I blow
- 19:38Speaker 1: myself up. Here we go in front of my family,
- 19:43Speaker 1: what would you? Because they got they got to go.
- 19:47Speaker 1: I'm gonna be they got to go. When I'm gonna
- 19:51Speaker 1: be outside working on on a gas line or something,
- 19:55Speaker 1: it's gonna blow, right, hold back yard in flight? What
- 20:00Speaker 1: is he? He's making his death because in order to
- 20:03Speaker 1: enjoy two hundred and seventy one million, illegal to be
- 20:07Speaker 1: by myself, Steve, that's illegal to fake your I'm with
- 20:11Speaker 1: Tim one million. But what about you big dollar two
- 20:16Speaker 1: hundred and seventy one million, two hundred and seventy one million.
- 20:20Speaker 1: I immediately take one hundred and fifty million and put
- 20:25Speaker 1: it in the fund yielding enough money in seven years,

- 29:59Speaker 1: Coming up at the top of the hour, entertainment News,
- 30:02Speaker 1: we'll talk about the spirit then Steve. Right after this,
- 30:05Speaker 1: you're listening to say morning show and Today's entertainment news
- 30:12Speaker 1: actress Laurie Laughlin. You remember her from Full House. She
- 30:16Speaker 1: was at Becky on a Full House. Yes, Felicity Huffman
- 30:20Speaker 1: was one of the Desperate Housewives. They are among more
- 30:23Speaker 1: than forty people that have been accused in a major
- 30:27Speaker 1: college admissions cheating scandal. Federal prosecutors in Massachusetts state that
- 30:32Speaker 1: they paid bribes to a consultant who would steer the
- 30:35Speaker 1: money towards SAT or act administrators or a college coach,
- 30:41Speaker 1: and in some cases, the test administrators would then hire
- 30:44Speaker 1: fake people to fill in correct answers for them. They
- 30:47Speaker 1: call them proctors to fill in the correct answers for
- 30:50Speaker 1: them when they took the tests in everything. Laurie Laughlin
- 30:53Speaker 1: and Felicity Huffman are charged with conspiracy to commit mail
- 30:57Speaker 1: fraud and honest services fraud. This is like the biggest
- 31:01Speaker 1: story in LA and then the country. Did they do
- 31:05Speaker 1: for their kids? Yeah, for their children? Yes, yeah, yeah.
- 31:09Speaker 1: And they bribed, Yeah, they bribed the schools to get
- 31:12Speaker 1: their kids in these great schools they brought them. Yeah, yeah,
- 31:20Speaker 1: they the schools. He's a one with all. They've been
- 31:26Speaker 1: doing this investigation now, Steve, for about a year. Laurie
- 31:29Speaker 1: Laughlin and Felicity Huffman are charged with conspiracy to commit
- 31:32Speaker 1: mail fraud and honest services fraud. Seven FBI agents showed
- 31:37Speaker 1: up at Felicity's Hollywood Yeah, with pulled guns. The guns
- 31:41Speaker 1: were um pulled out. She lives in Hollywood Hills. They
- 31:45Speaker 1: showed up there about six am yesterday, drew their weapons
- 31:48Speaker 1: as they ordered Felicity to come out and surrender. Can
- 31:51Speaker 1: you imagine six o'clock in the morning. Her husband, William H. Macy,
- 31:57Speaker 1: Now you probably know him from the show Shame Us.
- 32:00Speaker 1: He's on that show. He starts in Shameless, he was
- 32:03Speaker 1: in that movie. He was he was in Fargo Fargo. Yeah,
- 32:08Speaker 1: well yeah, he was one of the stars of Fargo. Yeah. Yes.
- 32:12Speaker 1: They were all asleep when the federal agents ordered them out.
- 32:15Speaker 1: Sources say she knew the arrest was looming, would have
- 32:18Speaker 1: gladly surrendered on her own, but the FED saw it differently.
- 32:22Speaker 1: People on social media are saying, these kids already have
- 32:25Speaker 1: every advantage in life, and yet their parents sheet it
- 32:28Speaker 1: to get them into the top colleges. Yes, yes, yes, Steve,
- 32:34Speaker 1: you're in Dubai. So all these kids who work hard,
- 32:37Speaker 1: study hard, work their butts off to try to get
- 32:39Speaker 1: into these schools because there's only limited positions, you know,
- 32:42Speaker 1: a lot. They don't have a lot of openings there.
- 32:45Speaker 1: They can't get in because these kids parents have money
- 32:48Speaker 1: and they bought you know, ask you question though, after
- 32:52Speaker 1: you get the little stupid after the keys, how are
- 32:55Speaker 1: they gonna get the grades to stay there? Keep paying
- 33:00Speaker 1: who you find the trick now? See now you got
- 33:02Speaker 1: to pay all professors. You the game just get thicker,
- 33:05Speaker 1: because even if you can get into school, what you're
- 33:08Speaker 1: gonna do to stay that exactly all they created charities, Yeah,
- 33:12Speaker 1: and donated money to charities so they can write the
- 33:15Speaker 1: money off. Oh it's yeah, it's deep. A lot of
- 33:18Speaker 1: people involved. You're right, that's a lot of it was
- 33:21Speaker 1: tax for tax right off purposes. I mean, this was
- 33:24Speaker 1: this has been going on for a while. But they
- 33:26Speaker 1: also did it on a sports level. Well your your waitment, man.
- 33:29Speaker 1: So she said she knew the arrest was coming, and
- 33:32Speaker 1: she would have gladly the same thing they said about
- 33:35Speaker 1: roger Stone. No, see, get your ass rested like all
- 33:39Speaker 1: of us do. See, we used to the Feds coming
- 33:42Speaker 1: to the house with the guns drawn. So that's how
- 33:44Speaker 1: Roger Stone posts get picked up. Man of foot cold.
- 33:47Speaker 1: That's how you get picked up by the FEDS. Gun
- 33:50Speaker 1: in your face, get your ass down, in your draws down,
- 33:57Speaker 1: draws up in the flout. I know you crack is showing.
- 34:03Speaker 1: Get out of the crown walk all right. Let's let
- 34:06Speaker 1: miss Anne take it over. Steve ken I brought you
- 34:09Speaker 1: being on full house. Get your ass come from than lady, gentleman,
- 34:17Speaker 1: miss and okay, Steve, this is er. Put the news.
- 34:23Speaker 1: Let's get on that. Authorities say they've broken up the
- 34:25Speaker 1: largest college admission scam ever prosecuted by the Department of Justice.
- 34:29Speaker 1: Massachusetts US Attorney Andrew Lelling says that the ring leader
- 34:33Speaker 1: is a guy named William Singer, the owner of a
- 34:35Speaker 1: supposed college counseling service called Key Worldwide Foundation, and Singers
- 34:39Speaker 1: played guilty to various charges involving his alleged acceptance of
- 34:42Speaker 1: millions of dollars and bribes as much as like twenty
- 34:45Speaker 1: five million from wealthy parents to guarantee their kids admissions
- 34:48Speaker 1: to elite colleges and universities. Prosecutors say they were people
- 34:51Speaker 1: who took their SATs and their acts. Lilling says the
- 34:54Speaker 1: Singer's operation also worked the sports angle in return for bribes.
- 34:58Speaker 1: These coaches agreed to partic and that certain applicants were
- 35:02Speaker 1: recruited competitive athletes, when in fact the applicants were not,
- 35:06Speaker 1: as the coaches knew, the students athletic credentials had been fabricated.
- 35:10Speaker 1: Among the fifty people allegedly involved are nine coaches, two
- 35:13Speaker 1: SAT exam administrators, one test proctor, a college administrator, and
- 35:17Speaker 1: thirty three parents, including the two actors that you just
- 35:20Speaker 1: heard Shirley talking about, one who starred in Desperate Housewives
- 35:23Speaker 1: Felicity Husband and another from Full House. Also the CEOs
- 35:27Speaker 1: of private and public companies. Some of these parents big
- 35:30Speaker 1: time real estate investors, and also the co chairman of
- 35:33Speaker 1: a global law firm. Saw Americans are calling for US
- 35:37Speaker 1: air carriers to ground all Boeing seven thirty seven, Max
- 35:40Speaker 1: eights and nines in the wake of two deadly crashes
- 35:42Speaker 1: of that model jet within only five months. Meanwhile, an
- 35:46Speaker 1: investigations on a way to find out why one Max
- 35:48Speaker 1: eight went down Sunday morning in Addis Attaba killed one
- 35:51Speaker 1: hundred and fifty seven aboard everybody, and why another MAXID
- 35:55Speaker 1: crashed off the coast of Indonesia back in October, only
- 35:57Speaker 1: five months ago. Killing all one hundred eight nine in
- 36:00Speaker 1: that craft. Ethiopia, China, the European Union, India, Indonesia, Singapore,
- 36:06Speaker 1: South Africa, Turkey among the many many nations who have
- 36:09Speaker 1: moved to ground those new planes. However, more than seventy
- 36:13Speaker 1: max eights are still flying for US carriers American, Southwest
- 36:16Speaker 1: and United Airlines. They're still using these planes. Several American
- 36:20Speaker 1: lawmakers calling on those carriers to stop using them until
- 36:22Speaker 1: all the probes are over. However, company officials insist their
- 36:25Speaker 1: jets are okay, they're safe. Well, who knew things with
- 36:29Speaker 1: this bad On the heels of the Green book about
- 36:31Speaker 1: how black Americans looked out for each other as they
- 36:33Speaker 1: travel the country, listing places where they could avoid racists,
- 36:36Speaker 1: now comes word that there's the new app for Trump
- 36:39Speaker 1: supporters that lists supposed safe restaurants and other businesses where
- 36:42Speaker 1: they won't be harrassed for supporting the current commander in chief.
- 36:45Speaker 1: You may remember that White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders
- 36:48Speaker 1: was asked to leave a restaurant last year in the
- 36:50Speaker 1: DC area, and other Trump officials like Homeland Security Secretary
- 36:54Speaker 1: Kirsten Nielsen and Trump counselor Kelly and Conway say they've
- 36:57Speaker 1: been confronted by protesters and other diners while trying to
- 37:00Speaker 1: eat out. Finally, Today's National Donald, I'll tell you what's

- 37:34Speaker 1: it was colleges across the country. It's not just in LA,
- 37:39Speaker 1: but it broke in LA. And man oh Man, Steve,
- 37:43Speaker 1: it's been a massive investigation for about a year now.
- 37:46Speaker 1: And lady from Full House, Laurie Laughlin Becky Hey, explain
- 37:52Speaker 1: that part to me. I know, she got arrested. It
- 37:55Speaker 1: didn't want to be at gunpoint laying on the ground. Yeah,
- 37:59Speaker 1: that was Felicity Huffman. Yeah, um, well yeah, I mean
- 38:02Speaker 1: they've been charged with conspiracy to commit mail fraud and
- 38:06Speaker 1: honest services fraud. More than forty people have been acque
- 38:10Speaker 1: so far in this major college admissions cheating scandal, they've
- 38:14Speaker 1: paid people bribes to steer money towards sat or Act administrators,
- 38:21Speaker 1: you know, to change their scores for people to come
- 38:24Speaker 1: in and take tests for them. I mean, it's just
- 38:27Speaker 1: been a major, major story doing that. Phone, Just give
- 38:30Speaker 1: yo little polk ass kids a life to just get

- 49:04Speaker 1: and each one of them could have a different daddy.

- 54:44Speaker 1: the Strawberry Letter subject, Should I ask for permission or forgiveness?
- 54:50Speaker 1: Dear Stephen Shirley. I am married to a great man
- 54:53Speaker 1: and I am truly blessed to have him in my life.
- 54:57Speaker 1: But there is one issue. He is a very proud
- 55:00Speaker 1: and he now is the sole provider for our family.
- 55:05Speaker 1: We were both in the military, but I retired to
- 55:07Speaker 1: be home with the children full time. He's still enlisted
- 55:11Speaker 1: and he makes good money, but it does not always
- 55:14Speaker 1: cover all of our expenses, so money and finances are
- 55:18Speaker 1: becoming an issue with us for the first time. My
- 55:22Speaker 1: husband has gone a lot because he is on base
- 55:25Speaker 1: on the weekends and he works a part time job
- 55:27Speaker 1: during the week This man has sacrificed so much for
- 55:31Speaker 1: me and the family, but I can't stand to see
- 55:33Speaker 1: him work so hard. I have told him that I
- 55:36Speaker 1: could get a job for a few hours during the
- 55:39Speaker 1: day while the children are at school, but he always
- 55:42Speaker 1: tells me no. I feel awful because if I had
- 55:46Speaker 1: stayed in the military, we would not have these issues.
- 55:49Speaker 1: He is deploying next month and he will be gone
- 55:52Speaker 1: for seven months, so I am dying to get a
- 55:55Speaker 1: job and pay down some of our bills while he's
- 55:58Speaker 1: gone without him knowing it. I believe in submitting to
- 56:01Speaker 1: my husband and letting him lead our family, but I
- 56:04Speaker 1: am also a strong woman that can help take care
- 56:07Speaker 1: of our family. Before I jump out there and defy
- 56:10Speaker 1: my husband, I want your opinion. I am not one
- 56:14Speaker 1: to lie or keep things from him, but in this case,
- 56:17Speaker 1: I am willing to do that because I just want
- 56:19Speaker 1: to help. I don't want to embarrass him or defy
- 56:22Speaker 1: his orders. But I want to work as a wife
- 56:26Speaker 1: or a husband. Would you be mad if your spouse
- 56:28Speaker 1: went out and got a job without telling you. No,
- 56:32Speaker 1: I wouldn't be mad if you know, if my spouse
- 56:36Speaker 1: went out and got a job without telling me. I
- 56:38Speaker 1: would be mad if they lied about it, though, if
- 56:41Speaker 1: they went out and didn't tell me about it and
- 56:44Speaker 1: kept it from me. We're in a marriage. This is
- 56:46Speaker 1: a partnership. This is twenty nineteen. And if you guys
- 56:51Speaker 1: need more money to make ends meet, and you're willing,
- 56:54Speaker 1: you're able, You're perfectly healthy and ready to work to
- 56:58Speaker 1: keep your family a flow. What is wrong with that? Okay?
- 57:03Speaker 1: What we are in twenty nineteen? Like I said, Okay,
- 57:06Speaker 1: you got to talk to your husband. I mean, you
- 57:08Speaker 1: really have to talk to him. You got to tell
- 57:10Speaker 1: him that you're a family. This is a partnership, for
- 57:14Speaker 1: better or worse. Remember those vowels that you took when
- 57:17Speaker 1: you got married. Uh, you know, tell him that working
- 57:22Speaker 1: right now would be good for the entire family. What
- 57:25Speaker 1: is the problem. You guys can work out childcare. You're
- 57:28Speaker 1: gonna do it while they're at school anyway, like you said,
- 57:30Speaker 1: and you can work and make sure your family is good.
- 57:33Speaker 1: And guess what, this is a great part. He can
- 57:35Speaker 1: still lead the family. He can still be headed a family.
- 57:38Speaker 1: If you go to work. This is two thousand nineteen.
- 57:41Speaker 1: What is he talking about? Come on, you work in
- 57:45Speaker 1: is not going to diminish that in the least. So
- 57:47Speaker 1: let him know how you really feel, how you love
- 57:50Speaker 1: and appreciate the fact that he works so hard and
- 57:52Speaker 1: he makes all these sacrifices. You know you love that
- 57:56Speaker 1: and that you have his back, and h you want
- 58:00Speaker 1: to do your part, Steve, Yeah, this is a real
- 58:04Speaker 1: easy one for me. This letter is not even difficult
- 58:07Speaker 1: at all. First of all, most families statistically are two
- 58:12Speaker 1: checks from serious problems, serious problems two checks. And we
- 58:18Speaker 1: learned that doing the government shutdown, that some people develop
- 58:24Speaker 1: some serious problems. Because you know, when you when you
- 58:27Speaker 1: work in a job that pays you enough to take
- 58:30Speaker 1: care of your living expenses and a limited lifestyle, that
- 58:35Speaker 1: money can't come up missing twice. Now you face with
- 58:39Speaker 1: eviction choices of selling your card to stay in your home,
- 58:44Speaker 1: moving out. Then you know, we have a president who's
- 58:47Speaker 1: out of touch because he's never struggled like that, so
- 58:50Speaker 1: he's sending it, sending this stuff out messages by his
- 58:52Speaker 1: staff member saying just go get a loan, call all
- 58:56Speaker 1: your creditors and tell them you know that you're gonna
- 59:00Speaker 1: be a little late, and asked him to work with you.
- 59:03Speaker 1: He's out of touch. Banks don't loan people money who
- 59:07Speaker 1: are not working. Hello, and your landlord don't give a
- 59:13Speaker 1: damn that is to shut down. He won't owe you
- 59:16Speaker 1: with the government. Oh it's okay, just pay me when
- 59:18Speaker 1: you get it. Ain't nobody doing it. So let's let's
- 59:22Speaker 1: let's be real. Most families are two checks away from
- 59:26Speaker 1: serious problems. A lot of people money don't cover all expenses.
- 59:31Speaker 1: I've been in it. I know exactly what you're saying now.
- 59:35Speaker 1: Your man is committed. He's everything you ever wanted. He's
- 59:38Speaker 1: the man of your dreams. He's hard working. He's on
- 59:40Speaker 1: the base on weekends. And you've been a loving wife.
- 59:43Speaker 1: You stayed home to be with the kids. You retired
- 59:46Speaker 1: from the military. You can't stand the same work so hard. Okay,
- 59:50Speaker 1: we don't really have finances can cause some big problems,
- 59:53Speaker 1: but you ain't nobody cheating. It ain't infidelity, This ain't
- 59:57Speaker 1: trust issues. But you told him you want to work,
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: he says. Now you're saying because he's a proud man. Now,
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: so you want to work. He don't want you to work.
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: He's about to get deployed. You want to work while
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: he's gone. But would I be mad if you worked
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: and didn't tell me? Yeah, So what's the solution to this.
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: It's very simple. You're a grown woman. Here's what's gonna happen.
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: Just gonna tell him, this is all you got to
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: do while you're gone. I'm gonna work. Now. He gonna
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: be mad, he gonna kick his pride, gonna come up.
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: He gonna tell you that I don't want my wife working.
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: I got this. I'm a man. Okay. When he gets
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: through saying that, then I want you to say this again.
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: I want you to say, Honey, I love you, I
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: respect you. You're the head of the family. I've got
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: to go back to work so I can feel complete
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: because right now I feel like I put us in
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: this position. So I want to go back to work.
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: Now he's gonna be mad. He gonna tell you this
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: right here, I want you doing that. I'm ahead of him.
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: But then we have another problem, though, lady, that I
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: picked up in the letter, you said you don't want
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: to defy his orders? Right, y'all? Really on some serious
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: military sugar honey iced tea? Yeah, real serious military sugar
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: honey iced tea. I told my wife not to do
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: a lot of stuff I never had told her she
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: can't defy my orders. Do you know what to happen
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: if I tell this? A look crazy? If I'm mad too,
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: Come on, don't defyre my orders. Boy, come back. I'm
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: gonna find another way to say it. Yeah, all right,
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: we'll part two of Steve's response coming up at twenty
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: three after the hour. Subject of today's Strawberry Letters, Should
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: I ask for permission or forgiveness? We'll get back into
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: it right after this. You're listening to all right, guys,
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: let's recap today's Strawberry Letters Steve. Subject, Should I ask
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: for permission or forgiveness? Well, you know, my wife has
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: taught this to me. This is about a couple who's
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: struggling financially because she retired from the military. Her husband's
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: stayed in the military. She feels like it's her fault
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: that they're struggling because she could have just kept working,
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: but she retired to stay home. With the kids. Boom.
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: She feels it though. Now she hates to see her
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: husband working so hardy working a couple of jobs here
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: on the base all weekend, and they don't have enough
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: to cover the expenses. I told her, relax, that's most
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: families are two checks away from serious problems. We learned
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: just doing the shutdown of the government, which is absolutely ridiculous.
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: And most people can't cover all the expenses. So she
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: can't stay and work that hard. So she wants to work.
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: He's very proud man, he says, he got it. He
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: don't want his wife work and you ain't got to work.
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: I got it. Okay, cool, he's very proud of So
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: you want to work. And he's about to get deployed
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: and gonna be gone for months, and so you want
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: to work while he's gone. The question is do I
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: tell him I'm gonna work, or do I just go
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: to work and ask for forgiveness then try to ask
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: his permission. He won't give it. Here's the troubling line
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: in this letter. You said you don't want to defy
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: his artist. I said, y'all on some real military sugar, honey,
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: ice over that, and I'm consuming because you've been in
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: the military so long that that's what you consider. This
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: is defying artist. But the marriage happens to be a
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: compromise us. I don't know how I could say to
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: this woman I'm married to. Come on, say it though.
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: Just don't define my order, Margo. Don't define my damn
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: ardom so hard at you, I would be laughing. Don't
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: define my artom. Even if we were in the middle
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: of a fight, I would be laughing hard. You just
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: told you what you do that you define a direct artom.
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: It again, you don't define my order a military him.
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: I can't fix my man. Come on, man, so listen
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: to me. Here's my solution for you. Tell your husband, honey,
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: I love you, I respect you, and it surely said
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: you're still the man of the house. But I want
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: to contribute, and I'm miss working and I miss feeling
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: because just sitting at the house is not fulfilling to
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: me as I thought it was gonna be. I want
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: to go back to work, So I'm gonna take a
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: job and help us out. Now, when he goes and
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: gets deployed, you go to work, he gonna be all right. See,
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: you can't stay mad. Your asses at work and what
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: you're doing working? Body? Help out? What help out? What's
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: the money? Help me? You know who I am. I'm
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: jess O Davius Gustin. Oh. I don't need no damn
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: help from no woman. Yes you do, sir, yea all
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: need help from women. She happens to be the mother
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: of your children. She has a skill set that none
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: of us have. She has a mind of her own.
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: She's very bright, and she's very helpful. And women know
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: a lot about raising a family that men do. Now,
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: men may know a lot about protecting a family, but
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: women also have had to be the pre protector and
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: the provider of families when men walk away. So, sir,
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: understand that you may have a higher rank than your wife,
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: but that's at your job. You do not have a
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: higher rank and a bigger vote than her at a
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: home that Margie would tell you that. I'm the head
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: of the house and we mostly compromise, which means I
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: mostly do what she wants to do exactly. Now, when
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: it comes down to some real serious stuff and we
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: just can't compromise and I just can't bring myself to
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: do what she do, then I make a call. I
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: pull I pull, you know, rank card out and I go, look, baby,
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: I heard what you said, but I just think that
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: if to sink a swim comes down to it, I'm
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: gonna make that decision because I can't. We can't sink.
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: And you told me stay home. But see even the
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: way you said it just then, it wasn't don't define
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: what it was. You were talking to your wife like
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: a human being. Well that's because I have to do. Yeah,
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: But that's what I'm saying in this letter. It seems
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: a little different, she said. She also said she believes
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: in submitted for a husband, and let oh, that's cool,
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: that's very spiritual. That's not that's not how y'all are though.
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: It's really not even churchwomen, the mother of the church.
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: That's submissive. But not after the house, in front of people,
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: you make baby and carried to me. That's how that
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: cannot be held by anybody else except women. That Trump's
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: everything we can do, our money making power, our decision
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: making power, our physical strength. The fact that you all
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: make babies trumps everything we do. You can be a billionaire.
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: I gave you a son. That Trump's it, That Trump's it.
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: I just climbed mount Everest with four of my buddies
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: and none of us died on the trip and we back. Okay, cool,
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: I had a baby while you are going and I
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: know that baby. I'm just trying to figure out what
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: you can say. I had twins. I just broke the
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: world record for the hundred yard dash. I beat you,
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: saying boats time and I'm sixty two. Okay, cool, why
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: you were running? I had a baby. I'm the damn
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: president or the United States. Okay, cool, while they were
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: voting for you, I had a baby. Yeah, I had
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: carried it for nine months. I'm telling you to a
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: very very powerful position. Yes, I had a baby. What
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: the hell are you talking about? Just a direct order?
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: I had your children? That's it, all right, Steve. I
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: think we get the message. Absolutely, she should go to work.
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: She should go to work, all right. Listen, guy, email
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: us or instagram us your thoughts on today's Strawberry letter
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: at Steve Harvey f M now coming up in ten minutes.
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: Jose Conseco Conseco, have you guys heard about this? He
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: accuses a rod of cheating on j LO. They just
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: got engaged. This is so Stu, what happen? Yeah, we'll
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: talk about it right after this, Steve. You're listening to
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: show so we all know. We're so happy for j
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: J Low and a Rod. They just got engaged. That
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: million dollar ring on their finger and ring, yes, okay Rod, Well,
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: someone's already trying to ruin the moment. There's always someone
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: lurking in the background trying to ruin your happiness. Haters.
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: Um Remember former UM Major League baseball star Jose Conseco,
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: Remember him? Uh, he's taking swings at Alice Alex Rodriguez,
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: accusing him of cheating on his wife to be Jennifer Lopez.
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: Conseco made the claims in a string of tweets while
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: Jlo's competition show World of Dance was airing over the weekend.
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: How does he know, Well, he's saying it's his own
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: ex wife, Jessica, who a Rod has been cheating with,
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: and that he's seen the proof, he has the receipts. Well, uh,
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: yeah he don't. What kind of this is terrible? But
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: what you tweeting about it? Yeah? Is your X wife?
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: What is your punk ass tweeting? Yeah, he saw a
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: Rod calling Jessica on the phone. Not only has he
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: challenged a Rod to a boxing or mm A match.
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: But he says, oh, he'll take a polygraph to prove
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: he's being one accurate. What do he win? Nothing? Exactly?
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: Is your ex wife? Don't if if, let's say its truth,
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: if his x wife, what is your perk? Ass talking
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: about it? What you tweeting that he's been snitching long? Yeah? Yeah, yeah,
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: they tweeted, Oh yeah, he wrote that book. Jose tweeted
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: Steve watching j Low text a rod Little does she
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: know that he is cheating on her with my ex wife? Jessica?
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: Poor girl, She has no idea who he really is.
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: Conseco writes Alex J. Conseco talking about Alex Rodgers fault
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: and Low. Yeah, he's saying, Alex Alex Rodriguez stopped being
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: a piece of sugar honey iced tea. Steven Conseco needs
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: to sit out somewhere. Yeah, the man is engaged. He's
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: sitting up here talking about Alex Rodrigus was cheating. No
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: JENNI from no pass with my ex wife keywords never
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: was your wife? Don't. I don't understand any problem your
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: ex wife for Secondly, though, why are you tweeting it? Yeah?
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: Why is he you know what it's really ugly's a
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: this's a ladin thing. We got too much going on
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: the black community. We got the worry fact. We're gonna
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: let them handle We're gonna let George Lopez do deal
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: with this here right now. But we got too much
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: going on over hill. Yeah, you know, in time, I'm
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: gonna have to go and agree with man. We're trying
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: to handle this Jesus smullet things. Yeah, yeah, George Lopez,
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: Carlos Man see them all, y'all know, Yeah, yeah, man,
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: y'all go ahead and handlers right here, Saturday Night Live, y'all. Yeah,
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: we got our hands full overhire stupid and they're trying
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: to mess over Michael right now. We gotta hear y'all
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: agree with you, Tommy. We're gonna let the Latino community handlers.
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: We're together though, get on this. I did want to
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: ask you guys a question now, Um, would you confront
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: your significant other about cheating rumors after you just got engaged?
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: How would you handle this? Well? I think the better
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: question is for women, Yeah, not us, because this is
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: a this is a female situation. Because should Jlo say
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: something to a rod is y'all's question? Well, I mean
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: a rod has I think he has a role in
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: this though you don't see because he's the one that's
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: being accused, you know, I mean she has to say something,
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: you know, she has to go to him and say,
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: you know, the streets of the time. Yeah, I mean
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: as a woman, I'm sure she would, but yeah, I
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: don't know if she can ignore it all completely. Yeah,
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: even though they just got engaged. So that's a tough one.
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: But you wait till then. The dude is for two
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: years almost. Come on, I just think that Carseco is
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: out to do damage to people. I don't think he
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: has much validity. He released that book with all them
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: lives and just just a dude. Man, who ain't nobody
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: be relevant? Why would you tweet? Yeah? Yeah, just as
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: a man. I mean, I really can't back. And you
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: know this is not I won't want tobody, Miss under school,
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: Miss understand. This is not a sexual reference, right, This
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: is a street turn for how we talk to dudes.
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: That's doing some jest. What what what? What what are
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: you talking about? If you really got a problem, you
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: should just walk up to a ra Yes, exactly, see
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: all this tweeting it you got a problem with a rod.
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: You know where a rad stay a rod famous? He
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: hard to find see that. But you know what, man,
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: can I tell you something? That's what be irking me
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: about this social media thing. Your little thumb gagster. So
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: jose Canseco being the thumb gaster. Hey, Doc, you know
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: where he at? You ain't You ain't gotta type this.
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: You can get in front of him. Yeah, that's terrible.
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: That's what men do. Just get in front of me talking.
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: You're talking about me, Get in front of me. Don't
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: type nothing else but take take take your mouth offrom
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: me in the barbershop. Come see me. Ain't tight enough
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: where they deal with it. Of the Dayton process. You
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: gotta have like rollover minutes. What do you mean if
- 1:15:33Speaker 1: this happened like almost two years ago when he first
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: started Dayton Joe j Low. You gotta flush out all
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: he's been single. You gotta flush out a couple of them.
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: He was with someone before, you know what I'm saying.
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: So you got you gotta have rollover minutes in this.
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: You gotta get rid of some of them. You know,
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: you gotta have a few conversations. You forgot to tell somebody, Hey,
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: I'm kicking it with somebody now, no, no, I'm with somebody. Yes,
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: let me swing through that. It's eating he explained. Wow. Well,
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: coming up at the top of the hour, guys, we're
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: gonna talk more about sports, and here's the question. Guess
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: who's moving to Jacksonville, Florida. Duvall, we'll talk about it
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening to all right, so Junior
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: is here with more NFL sports talk. Hey, jun your
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: what's going on? All right? Hey, Shirley, listen up, Timmy. Everyone,
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: guess where the free agent former backup fitting quarterback Nick
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: Foles is going? Jacksonville, Florida. This boy's down there, and
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: Duval he can't even say Jacksonville. I have to learn
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: to say, dude, Nick Foles agreed to him four year
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: deal worth eighty eight meet man, and that's a lot
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: for a backup quarterback. You want me to leave what
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: I'm saying. He might be a leading now, but I'm
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: just coming from from Philadelphia from a backup and going
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: to getting eighty eight million. How do you act with
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: that type Junior? Junior, he led them to a super Bowl.
- 1:17:11Speaker 1: He was just when you go from when you go
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: from that type of money from a backup money to
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: a starting money. Do it change right away? Do you
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: change meeting? No, but people's perception that you're gonna change. Yeah,
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: So how many years you get eighty eight million dollars?
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: That's why I say, who so that's twenty two mill
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: a year? It's twenty two mill? Yeah? Different? Yeah, you
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: know when you when you was the starting quarterback. Because
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: they're gonna release Blake Borders. But what you think Blake
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: said that morning when he knew he was coming, say,
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: y'all just gonna bring Nicky started leaving. Now, man, Hey,
- 1:17:54Speaker 1: I'm sorry, but this ain't the biggest damn NFL news.
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: Why don't you wait though? Come on talking about some
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: dick going to Jackson? Member, we really give a dog
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: gonna flying? Well, let's go. Yeah, man, the New York
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: Giants didn't trade it off. Old Dale Beckham to the
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: Cleveland Brown. Here we go. I don't already text him,
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: and he didn't text me. Welcome to the blankety blank land,
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: Cleveland Man, jail Old Dale Beckham, Julian you know Cleveland Brown. Yeah.
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: Every we we hadn't had each other's numbers for a while.
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: We got a mutual friend. Man okay. Yeah. So you know,
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: right after I heard the news, I text him. He said, Man,
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: I'm coming. We're gonna bring one back. Yeah he ready,
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: Old d old d is in the blankety blank land.
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: Well congratulations Steve. Yeah yeah, what as we talk about
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: nick old little du I could care less than Steve.
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: There were more teams in Cleveland. No, it's not not
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: to me Cleveland. You won't even understand man, y'all so
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: high acted when we tied the Steelers the first game. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: I remember that. You're right. Don don't understand man, how
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: we won them game? That was like a super Bowl.
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: See brod we find you hear me that reason. Everybody
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: else so quiet, shilly reading junior times. Ain't made no
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: moods and all we didn't we we we we we
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: made one who the Texans? Yeah, bring you know who
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: you get. We got a cornerback that's all came from
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: down Dominique Rope. No nobody know him whatever. Yeah he
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: Beckham and now he's sun. Here's my question to you, though.
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: Steve asked me, are you going to the game any game? No,
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: to damn cold, all of them. I got NFL packet.
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: Last walk you have coats. No, I got plenty of
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: cold hats. I ain't going up there. We ain't got
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: no done. You got old. He looked way better on TV.
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: Is to replace sandwiches, all that, all that, see it twice,
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: run it back all bathroom close by? Oh yeah yeah.
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: Let's get to this. Uncle Leveon Bell went to the
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: Jets four years fifty two million. What's the problem with
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: this whole thing right here? Huh? Okay, Now let me
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: explain this to you. Four years fifty two million. Y'all
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: do the math. That's thirteen million a year. Okay. He
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: set out this past year and did not play for
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: fourteen million with the Pittsburgh Steves who is the agent
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: he did? So? Now you just set out a year
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: miss fourteen million, sign for four years thirteen million. Somebody
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: helped me, man understand what agent he listened to. I
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: told y'all, he can't get the money back. He cannot
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: get the fourteen million back. He didn't want the franchise tag.
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: He wanted a new contract. This the NFL man. And
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: I felt bad for that young brother man because he
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: set out a whole year. But see, and then they're
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: not gonna reward you for sitting out a year in
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: the NFL. Boar, he saved his body. Let's pay him
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: for that. Now they're gonna get right on back to
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: your value. And guess what they told it. It's thirteen million. Whoa. Now,
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: I don't know if it's guaranteed or what, but hold
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: on this just in, news flash, news flash. What leveyon
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: Bell thirty five million guaranteed? Yeah, okay, well that's not
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: a bad paycheck. And the Steeler's last offer was fourteen
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: million guaranteed ten, so he got more guaranteed money. But see,
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: you lost foot. Now let's do the math. See okay,
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: you lost fourteen you set out on the ten. I'm
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: telling about where we're at. Dog, was it worth it?
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: I don't think so. But congratulations he's back playing football. Hey, y'all,
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: stop stop letting your method. This is what I've been
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: trying to say. Man, I just said it wrong on
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: the show, admittedly, but just know this right here, stop
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: letting your method of doing I'm not gonna do this
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: hill get in the way of what you're trying to accomplish.
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: That board is not gonna play professional football for the
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: Cowboys because he want to smoke weed. Is compete. Let
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: me tell you something, son, You're twenty five years old.
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: You have nothing else to do now you and you
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: posted on into grad Why are you smoking weed? Was
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: that for pain? I think it's the off season? Was
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: that for pain? I don't think what he was doing
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: on that one, I really do. I think Steve wants
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: to be a sports agent or seriously, that's what I
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: think I would talk to these young kids. Cannot let
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: your method of integrity, which is what I was trying
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: to say. Your method of integrity is what I was
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: trying to say, The method of what you choose to
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: go about something cannot get in a way I use
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: a prime example. All right, we'll be back with more.
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: Can I come back with my prime example. Yeah, we'll
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: be back with more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening to show? All right, enough
- 1:24:09Speaker 1: sports talk guys. Okay, you know how I love company, right,
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: some people on the show don't love it. But I
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: love when people come over to my house. I really do. So.
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: I had some family over yesterday. Two of my aunts
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: came over, and all of the women on my mom's
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: side of the family are really critical when it comes
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: to a clean home. That's just how they are. They're
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: built like that. They're old school. You guys know how
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: that can be, Right, Tommy, you know how worried you
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: get when company is coming over because you know how
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: particular you are. Yeah, I'm going through right now. I'm
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: not even talk about it. I was running around making
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: sure everything was put away and that my floors and
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: countertops were spotless, because they will be looking well. My
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: house is normally clean, but yesterday I did some quick
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: spring cleaning with my favorite Pine Salt Lemon Fresh cleaner.
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: I love this stuff because I wanted to make sure
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: my house smelled clean too. It's one thing for it
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: to look good, but I wanted to smell good. Pine
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: Salt is the number one Lemon sent it dilutable cleaner.
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: When I was done cleaning, my aunts could not find
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: a single spot to criticize in my kitchen, thank you
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: very much, or in my living room or the bathroom.
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: So it was a Lemon Fresh and it was sparkling
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: clean Pine Salt clean your way, okay, thank you very much. Yeah,
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: I mean it was a little nervous. I need a
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: bottle right off the spring break. I need a good bottle.
- 1:25:35Speaker 1: It's clean and you're gonna love the scent. That's that's
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: what I really love about. I love it when my
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: house smells all lemony and stuff. Yes, yes, yes, all
- 1:25:44Speaker 1: lemonye um listen. I don't know if you guys heard
- 1:25:48Speaker 1: about this, but Mitt Romney, you know he center or
- 1:25:51Speaker 1: Mitt Romney now out of Utah. He posted a short video.
- 1:25:56Speaker 1: It was his seventy second birthday yesterday, so he posted
- 1:25:59Speaker 1: as his seventy second birthday celebration. His team surprised him
- 1:26:03Speaker 1: that they gave him a birthday cake Steve of his
- 1:26:06Speaker 1: favorite snack, Twinkies. They made a birthday cake out of
- 1:26:10Speaker 1: Twinkies for him, but he stopped. Yeah, he had. He
- 1:26:14Speaker 1: had a strange way of blowing out the candles. He
- 1:26:17Speaker 1: blew out each individual Twinkie candle he took. He blew
- 1:26:20Speaker 1: out each candle and took it off each individual Twinkie.
- 1:26:24Speaker 1: It was just crazy, one by one he did that.
- 1:26:27Speaker 1: Can you still eat a twink I can't eat a
- 1:26:28Speaker 1: twink now. They're a little sugar. It's some stuff that
- 1:26:33Speaker 1: I cannot eat any yet. They used to be so
- 1:26:37Speaker 1: good when we were letting. Yes, yeah, my partner, butch
- 1:26:42Speaker 1: love twinking. My thing was hostess, cherry pie and ding downs. O.
- 1:26:49Speaker 1: I ate a honey bund every morning in high I
- 1:26:52Speaker 1: cannot eat that. Yeah, what did you eat it with milk?
- 1:26:56Speaker 1: I mean so I microwaited just like about eight seconds.
- 1:26:58Speaker 1: Get that heat too, boy, white milk. That they had
- 1:27:02Speaker 1: a microwave, did you Recard says yeah, I know, that's
- 1:27:09Speaker 1: what I said. You gotta get it to the lady
- 1:27:13Speaker 1: in the wind the car call she a woman up
- 1:27:15Speaker 1: for you ladies here woman. No, no, no, that was
- 1:27:22Speaker 1: microL waves weren't invented yet, That's what I'm saying, y'all. No,
- 1:27:27Speaker 1: I didn't hand no microwave. So where she put it
- 1:27:30Speaker 1: in the stove on the hood of the car. The lady,
- 1:27:35Speaker 1: the lady in the wind that damn mica wa. I
- 1:27:43Speaker 1: told my pack open and ate it this? How much sugar?
- 1:27:47Speaker 1: I love? I had a a hostess, chaired pie and
- 1:27:52Speaker 1: a PEPSI. Oh yes, yes, my sweet like that even young. Yeah,
- 1:28:00Speaker 1: I couldn't do it. The twelve six of course, all right,
- 1:28:10Speaker 1: coming up, we'll have more of the Steve Harvey Morning
- 1:28:12Speaker 1: Show right after this. You're listening to the show and
- 1:28:18Speaker 1: today's entertainment news actress Lori Laughlin. You remember her from
- 1:28:22Speaker 1: Full House. She was at Becky on a Full House. Yes,
- 1:28:26Speaker 1: Felicity Huffman was one of the Desperate Housewives. Anyway, They
- 1:28:30Speaker 1: are among more than forty people that have been accused
- 1:28:34Speaker 1: in a major college admissions cheating scandal. Federal prosecutors in
- 1:28:39Speaker 1: Massachusetts say that they paid bribes to a consultant who
- 1:28:43Speaker 1: would steer the money towards SAT or act administrators or
- 1:28:48Speaker 1: a college coach. So and in some cases the test
- 1:28:52Speaker 1: test administrators would then hire fake people to fill in
- 1:28:57Speaker 1: correct answers for them. They call him proctors to filling
- 1:29:00Speaker 1: the correct answers for them when they took the tests
- 1:29:02Speaker 1: and everything. Lorie Laughlin, uh huh. Lourie Laughlin and Felicity
- 1:29:07Speaker 1: Huffman are charged with conspiracy to commit mail fraud and
- 1:29:11Speaker 1: honest services fraud for who Yeah, for their Yes, yeah yeah.
- 1:29:17Speaker 1: They bribed the schools to get their kids in these
- 1:29:20Speaker 1: great schools they brought them. Yeah, yeah, they got the
- 1:29:29Speaker 1: school He's a one with all. They've been doing this
- 1:29:33Speaker 1: investigation now, Steve for about a year. Lorie Laughlin and
- 1:29:36Speaker 1: Felicity Huffman are charged with conspiracy to commit mail fraud
- 1:29:40Speaker 1: and Honest Services fraud. Seven FBI agents showed up at
- 1:29:44Speaker 1: Felicity's Hollywood Yeah, with pulled guns. The guns were um
- 1:29:49Speaker 1: pulled out. She lives in Hollywood Hills. They showed up
- 1:29:52Speaker 1: there about six am yesterday, drew their weapons as they
- 1:29:55Speaker 1: ordered Felicity to come out and surrender. Can you imagine
- 1:29:59Speaker 1: fixed up clock in the morning. Her husband, William H. Macy,
- 1:30:04Speaker 1: Now you probably know him from the show Shameless. He's
- 1:30:07Speaker 1: on that show. He starts in Shameless, he was in
- 1:30:09Speaker 1: that movie, he was in Fargo Star Fargal. Yes, they
- 1:30:16Speaker 1: were all asleep when the federal agents ordered them out.
- 1:30:19Speaker 1: Sources say she knew the arrest was looming, would have
- 1:30:22Speaker 1: gladly surrendered on her own, but the Feds saw it differently.
- 1:30:25Speaker 1: People on social media are saying, these kids already have
- 1:30:28Speaker 1: every advantage in life, and yet their parents cheat it
- 1:30:31Speaker 1: to get them into the top colleges. Yes, yes, yes, Steve,
- 1:30:37Speaker 1: you're in Dubai. So all these kids who work hard,
- 1:30:40Speaker 1: study hard, work their butts off to try to get
- 1:30:43Speaker 1: into these schools because there's only limited positions, you know,
- 1:30:46Speaker 1: a lot. They don't have a lot of openings there.
- 1:30:48Speaker 1: They can't get in because these kids parents have money
- 1:30:51Speaker 1: and they bought you know, question though, after you give
- 1:30:56Speaker 1: the little stupid kids in, how are they gonna get
- 1:30:59Speaker 1: the grade to stay that? Keep paying who you find
- 1:31:04Speaker 1: the trick? Now, see now you got to pay all professors.
- 1:31:07Speaker 1: You the game just get thicker, because even if you
- 1:31:10Speaker 1: can get into school, what you're gonna do to stay
- 1:31:12Speaker 1: that exactly all they created charities, Yeah, and donated money
- 1:31:17Speaker 1: to charities so they can write the money off. Oh yeah,
- 1:31:20Speaker 1: it's a lot of people involved. You're right. A lot
- 1:31:24Speaker 1: of it was tax for tax write off purposes. I mean,
- 1:31:27Speaker 1: this was this has been going on for a while.
- 1:31:29Speaker 1: But they also did it on a sports level. So
- 1:31:32Speaker 1: she said she knew the arrest was coming, and she
- 1:31:35Speaker 1: would have gladly the same thing they said about Roger Stone. No, see,
- 1:31:40Speaker 1: get your ass rested like all of us do. See,
- 1:31:43Speaker 1: we used to the Feds coming to the house with
- 1:31:45Speaker 1: the gun strong. So that's how Roger Stone posts get
- 1:31:48Speaker 1: picked up, man of foot cold, that's how you get
- 1:31:50Speaker 1: picked up by the Feds. Gun in your face, get
- 1:31:53Speaker 1: your ass down in your draw down draws. All right,
- 1:32:04Speaker 1: thank you guys. Coming up next, it is Steve with
- 1:32:07Speaker 1: today's closing remarks right after this. You're listening, all right, Steve,
- 1:32:14Speaker 1: Last break of the day, take us home with something good.
- 1:32:17Speaker 1: Closing remarks. I want to just talk to you about
- 1:32:21Speaker 1: what it really takes to make it, What it really
- 1:32:26Speaker 1: takes to make it. Now, Look, I can, oh, you know,
- 1:32:33Speaker 1: sit here and tell you a bunch of stuff that
- 1:32:35Speaker 1: you know. Sound like I'm really into public speaking, and
- 1:32:40Speaker 1: I know all of what I'm talking about all is
- 1:32:43Speaker 1: here in YadA, YadA YadA. But at the end of
- 1:32:45Speaker 1: the day, what people really want is real simple things
- 1:32:50Speaker 1: that they can do to make it. People want to
- 1:32:54Speaker 1: be successful, man, they really do. They don't. They don't
- 1:32:59Speaker 1: want to to not know what it's like to be happy,
- 1:33:03Speaker 1: to be free, to be successful. They want a simpler
- 1:33:14Speaker 1: how should I put this? They want somebody to explain
- 1:33:18Speaker 1: it to them and simplify it. That's what I'm trying
- 1:33:21Speaker 1: to say. Well, guess what, I don't know if I'm
- 1:33:27Speaker 1: the person that's qualified to make it the simplest. But
- 1:33:31Speaker 1: let me tell you what I do. Though, if you
- 1:33:33Speaker 1: want to be happy in this life, if you want
- 1:33:35Speaker 1: to be successful, you're gonna have to develop a couple
- 1:33:39Speaker 1: of things. Now here's the thing that I want you
- 1:33:41Speaker 1: to understand. Most people have what it takes to be successful,
- 1:33:49Speaker 1: but if it does not start with the belief that
- 1:33:52Speaker 1: you can be successful, you can never bring out the
- 1:33:56Speaker 1: qualities in you of success. Listen to me again. Everyone
- 1:34:01Speaker 1: has it in them to be successful, but if you
- 1:34:05Speaker 1: don't bring them out, and that starts with the belief.
- 1:34:10Speaker 1: If you don't have the belief that you can be somebody,
- 1:34:14Speaker 1: that you're worthy, that you're qualified, that you're capable. If
- 1:34:20Speaker 1: you don't start with that basic belief, it can never happen.
- 1:34:24Speaker 1: So first things first, in order to be successful and
- 1:34:28Speaker 1: happy in this world at whatever level you're talking about,
- 1:34:32Speaker 1: happiness success is for you, it has to start with
- 1:34:35Speaker 1: the belief that it is for you. I believe that
- 1:34:42Speaker 1: I should be successful. I believe that God wants me
- 1:34:47Speaker 1: to be prosperous. I believe that He comes to give
- 1:34:50Speaker 1: you life and give you life more abundantly. But you
- 1:34:55Speaker 1: got to develop some things, man, and the way to
- 1:34:58Speaker 1: develop them is start with the belief and hang on
- 1:35:02Speaker 1: to the belief so strong that these attributes develop themselves resilience.
- 1:35:09Speaker 1: If you believe hard enough that you can be successful,
- 1:35:14Speaker 1: that you can be happy, it will automatically start to
- 1:35:18Speaker 1: cultivate this thing that's in all of us. It's called resilience.
- 1:35:22Speaker 1: All y'all got it. Everybody got it. You are resilient people.
- 1:35:29Speaker 1: All of us are resilient. Hell, if you can survive
- 1:35:32Speaker 1: the projects, you resil you. If you can survive public schools,
- 1:35:38Speaker 1: you resili If you can survive walking through gang neighborhoods
- 1:35:42Speaker 1: because you still want education, you resilient. If you manage
- 1:35:46Speaker 1: to get yourself a high school diploma or a ged,
- 1:35:50Speaker 1: you are resilient. And the more belief you have, the
- 1:35:55Speaker 1: more of these attributes you can develop. You got to
- 1:35:58Speaker 1: be tough. You know how you get tough. You got
- 1:36:01Speaker 1: to believe that you tough. You got to believe that
- 1:36:04Speaker 1: you can hang in now when all is against you.
- 1:36:07Speaker 1: That's how you get tough. You get tough because you
- 1:36:09Speaker 1: keep facing the test and you keep passing them. But
- 1:36:12Speaker 1: all of that, you came past the test unless you
- 1:36:15Speaker 1: believe you can. Y'all, don't hear me. All of you
- 1:36:19Speaker 1: have an inner strength. Listen to me, man. Don't you
- 1:36:25Speaker 1: know even a homeless person has an inner strength? What
- 1:36:29Speaker 1: is it that gets a person to live under bridge
- 1:36:34Speaker 1: or live in a refrigerator box or live in some
- 1:36:36Speaker 1: of these homeless encountments. Do you know what really makes
- 1:36:40Speaker 1: them live there? Because they have an inner strength. It's
- 1:36:45Speaker 1: still some fiber of them that's telling them to hold on.
- 1:36:50Speaker 1: Because if it wasn't, everybody would just get rid of
- 1:36:54Speaker 1: their self. Everybody would end it. But you know why
- 1:36:57Speaker 1: people don't end it because you really do have an
- 1:36:59Speaker 1: inner struth. It it takes something to be homeless. Everybody
- 1:37:06Speaker 1: can make a mistake, man, and wind yourself up in
- 1:37:09Speaker 1: a situation. But homeless people have an inner strength. They
- 1:37:12Speaker 1: have a toughness. It's tough being homeless, man. They have
- 1:37:15Speaker 1: a resilience because for some reason they just won't give up.
- 1:37:20Speaker 1: And even though we judge them when we're driving by,
- 1:37:24Speaker 1: look at them sitting on that corner just asking for money.
- 1:37:27Speaker 1: They didn't gave up. No, no, it's another form of
- 1:37:31Speaker 1: giving up. But I'm telling you, even in your darkest
- 1:37:35Speaker 1: moments and your lowest points in your life, you have resilience, toughness,
- 1:37:40Speaker 1: inner strength. I got news for you. It can help
- 1:37:43Speaker 1: develop your faith because if you believe hard enough, The
- 1:37:47Speaker 1: Bible says that faith is a substance of things. Hope
- 1:37:51Speaker 1: for that simply means that when how you develop faith,
- 1:37:56Speaker 1: it's really the essence of it's is hope. You remember
- 1:37:58Speaker 1: when you was looking you hope you got a bike
- 1:38:01Speaker 1: for Christmas and you went out there one year and
- 1:38:03Speaker 1: the Christmas and the bike was under the tree. You
- 1:38:07Speaker 1: remember when you used to hope you graduate from high school,
- 1:38:10Speaker 1: you mess around and got a diploma. Do you remember
- 1:38:14Speaker 1: hoping one day you get a job and now you're working.
- 1:38:17Speaker 1: Faith is a substance of things hopeful. But if you
- 1:38:21Speaker 1: keep hoping hard enough and believe that something can happen, eventually,
- 1:38:25Speaker 1: that hope turns into faith. You got to have dreams
- 1:38:30Speaker 1: and visions so big that it dwarfs all your fears.
- 1:38:34Speaker 1: This is how you make it. I hope you got
- 1:38:37Speaker 1: what I'm saying. All right, dropping baby, drop it, have
- 1:38:43Speaker 1: a bleep. Thank you for all Steve Every contests No
