- 0:01Hey guys, today's topic is on healing when nobody apologized.
- 0:06So welcome back to Mentor365 Services, a small space for big healing.
- 0:12Today's episode is for anyone who learned to carry pain quietly,
- 0:17for anyone who never got that apology and still chose to grow.
- 0:22Healing is not always a conversation, but sometimes it's a decision.
- 0:27Take a gentle breath with me, in and out, and let's begin.
- 0:33Some of the deepest wounds in life come from a moment that were never acknowledged.
- 0:40The person that hurt you, act like nothing happened.
- 0:43The family event that broke your heart was treated as normal.
- 0:47The betrayal was never named.
- 0:50And you waited for years, hoping there will be a day when they say,
- 0:55I see what I did, I'm sorry, you didn't deserve that.
- 0:59But sometimes that day never comes.
- 1:01Not because you imagine the pain, but because they are not ready to face the truth.
- 1:07This part is painful but honest. People don't recognize or apologize for many reasons.
- 1:14They don't want to feel guilt. They don't know how to express emotion.
- 1:18They believe they were right. They fear consequences.
- 1:23They weren't raised with emotional vocabulary. They are hiding from their own
- 1:27mistakes. They are carrying their own trauma.
- 1:30Most people were never taught to how to take accountability,
- 1:35how to say sorry, or how to recognize harm, how to hold someone's pain without shame.
- 1:42So instead of facing the truth, they rewrite the memory.
- 1:46Not because you are wrong, but because they feel safer in denial.
- 1:51This is the part nobody prepares us for. Healing doesn't always come from the person that hurt you.
- 1:57Healing comes from you. You can grow without a confession, you can move forward
- 2:03without permission, you can reclaim your story without an apology.
- 2:07Closure is not something someone gives you. Closure is something you create.
- 2:13It's when you say, I don't need your words to know my pain was real.
- 2:19That's self-validation. That's maturity. That's freedom.
- 2:23When you don't get the apology you deserve, you learn something powerful.
- 2:28You learn to reparent your own heart. You allow yourself to say what they never said.
- 2:34I'm sorry you went through that. You did not deserve that pain.
- 2:39I wish someone protected you. You are worthy of kindness. It wasn't your fault.
- 2:44You become the person you needed when you were hurt. This is real healing.
- 2:49Not waiting for someone else to understand you, but understanding yourself.
- 2:54Not waiting for validation, but validating your own experience.
- 2:59When you grow up in culture shaped by survival, apologies are rare.
- 3:05Our families show love through action, not words.
- 3:09Cooking a meal was the apology.
- 3:12Working extra shift was the apology. Fixing a problem quietly was the apology.
- 3:19Many Asian, African, Middle Eastern, Latino families don't say, I'm sorry.
- 3:24They say, eat. I bought this for you. Are you safe? Have you eaten? Take this money.
- 3:31That's love covered in silence. But silent can leave wounds.
- 3:36So we are the first generation to say out loud, it hurt and I want something different.
- 3:42I want love with honesty. I want boundaries and belonging.
- 3:47This is how cycles break. Not through anger, but through awareness.
- 3:52At some point, you make a choice. You
- 3:56can wait forever for someone to apologize or
- 3:59you can start healing on your own timeline you are
- 4:02not weak for wanting closure but you are strong for
- 4:06not letting the absence of an apology define your
- 4:09entire life healing is saying i deserve better i deserve honesty and i will
- 4:15build that future myself you become the proof that love can evolve you show
- 4:21the next generation accountability exists comfort exists repair exists,
- 4:28even if you didn't grow up with it.
- 4:31If you are listening right now and someone hurt you deeply and never apologize,
- 4:36your pain is real, your memory is valid, your story deserves compassion.
- 4:41The absence of an apology doesn't erase what happened.
- 4:45It doesn't define your worth. You can still heal, you can still grow, and you can still love.
- 4:51One day you might look at your journey and say, I became whole without the apology I deserve.
- 4:57That is strength, that is power, that is healing.
- 5:00Thank you for being here today. Until next time, take care of your heart and your health. God bless.
