- 0:02Speaker 1: Y'all know what time to y'all don't know y'all have

- 0:15Speaker 1: like the Milian buck things in the cobles. Be true.
- 0:20Speaker 1: Good it Steve Hary listening to the movie together for stum, Please,
- 0:38Speaker 1: I don't join by join me in doing me. You
- 0:58Speaker 1: gotta turn ing the you go. You gotta turn to
- 1:41Speaker 1: turn them out. You got to turn them out. Then
- 1:46Speaker 1: turn the water the water go. Come come on your faddy,
- 2:01Speaker 1: I shall will Good morning everybody. You are listening to
- 2:05Speaker 1: the voice, Come on dig me now one it only
- 2:09Speaker 1: Steve Harvey got a radio show? Man. I love it
- 2:14Speaker 1: when I run up into people and they say that
- 2:16Speaker 1: to me. They say, hey, Steve Harvey got a radio show.
- 2:19Speaker 1: Then they wink at man, I know they're listening. You know.
- 2:22Speaker 1: I got a lot off my chest yesterday. I wanted
- 2:24Speaker 1: to clear some things up. And I appreciate y'all giving
- 2:26Speaker 1: me a minute, because sometimes you know, you just gotta
- 2:29Speaker 1: say some things out loud. Not complaining, but hey, just verbalizing,
- 2:34Speaker 1: but realizing that I gotta keep going anyway. And that's
- 2:38Speaker 1: for my words this morning to you that I want
- 2:42Speaker 1: you to keep pushing no matter what happens. I want
- 2:48Speaker 1: to share something with you that's important, that's very, very important. See,
- 2:55Speaker 1: you have to give God something too, bless you know,
- 3:00Speaker 1: if your prayer is asking for God's blessings, you gotta
- 3:04Speaker 1: give him something to work with. Now, you know, you
- 3:10Speaker 1: gotta show the spirit of appreciation or gratitude. You gotta
- 3:15Speaker 1: let him know that you're in it for the long haul.
- 3:19Speaker 1: No matter what happens. Don't turn around. You will never
- 3:25Speaker 1: ever see what the end could be. If you turn
- 3:30Speaker 1: around and go back, You'll never know what the end
- 3:34Speaker 1: could have been had you stuck it out. You'll never
- 3:39Speaker 1: know how good it could have gotten had you not
- 3:44Speaker 1: just weathered the storm. That's the thing that gets most people.
- 3:52Speaker 1: They get tough for them, It get hard for them,
- 3:55Speaker 1: and then they let doubts set in, and then those
- 3:58Speaker 1: doubts become facts and the next thing you know, they
- 4:02Speaker 1: give up. Had you not given up, or had you
- 4:06Speaker 1: given your best, what the results or outcome could have been.
- 4:10Speaker 1: I look back on my life on so many occasions
- 4:14Speaker 1: where in college I wasn't giving my best. Now I
- 4:19Speaker 1: flunked out. Now it's easy to look at my life
- 4:24Speaker 1: nine go yeah, but look at you now, but back then, man,
- 4:28Speaker 1: it cost me for so many years that failing to
- 4:33Speaker 1: finish that, not giving my all, it cost me a
- 4:39Speaker 1: number of years. I wish I could say that it
- 4:43Speaker 1: didn't mean nothing, that it was just a blimp on
- 4:46Speaker 1: the radar screen screen, but at the time it was major.
- 4:50Speaker 1: And so you have a lot of decisions in your
- 4:52Speaker 1: life that are happening now. You may be in your twenties,
- 4:55Speaker 1: your late teens, you could be in your early thirties,
- 4:58Speaker 1: and it's happening. But that's what you'll eventually get through.
- 5:03Speaker 1: It provided one thing you never give up. You never
- 5:08Speaker 1: turn around and go back. Had I written myself off
- 5:12Speaker 1: because of one failure, see, and this is where so
- 5:15Speaker 1: many people go but go wrong at two. You write
- 5:18Speaker 1: yourself off after you failed at something, the one thing
- 5:23Speaker 1: you thought you wanted to accomplish, and you failed at it.
- 5:26Speaker 1: Now you write yourself as a failure. Now you go
- 5:29Speaker 1: settle on end to life and just see what see
- 5:32Speaker 1: what hand you get. Had when I flunked out of college,
- 5:36Speaker 1: had I written myself off as a failure, I wouldn't
- 5:39Speaker 1: be here today. When I lost my carpet cleaning company,
- 5:44Speaker 1: I would have written myself as a failure, and I
- 5:46Speaker 1: wouldn't be here today. When I didn't become a diamond
- 5:50Speaker 1: distributed in Amway or a direct distributor in am Way,
- 5:54Speaker 1: even I would have written myself as a failure, and
- 5:58Speaker 1: I wouldn't be here today. When I bought a distribution
- 6:02Speaker 1: kit to become a distributor of the Bohemian Diet and
- 6:08Speaker 1: I didn't make it, I would have written myself as
- 6:11Speaker 1: a failure. When I became an Al Williams distributor and
- 6:14Speaker 1: I didn't make it, I would have written myself as
- 6:16Speaker 1: a failure, and I wouldn't be here today. Oh, I
- 6:19Speaker 1: got a list for you. When I got laid off
- 6:23Speaker 1: it for a motor company. Had I written myself as
- 6:26Speaker 1: a failure, I wouldn't have made it. Do you need
- 6:30Speaker 1: some more? Because I have a story filled with mishaps.
- 6:37Speaker 1: I have a story filled with failures. A couple of
- 6:42Speaker 1: things now, the grace of God and his mercy which
- 6:46Speaker 1: is available to us all. See that's the key, y'all,
- 6:49Speaker 1: Because of his mercy, because of his willingness to forgive
- 6:56Speaker 1: and to even understand why we do the things we do.
- 7:02Speaker 1: In all of my shortcomings, failed marriages, I'm talking about,
- 7:08Speaker 1: man got it all wrong. I can't blame nobody else.
- 7:12Speaker 1: It's just me. Steve ain't have it together at that
- 7:16Speaker 1: point in life. I've could have ridden myself as a
- 7:20Speaker 1: failure the first time I could. I just could have
- 7:24Speaker 1: gave up on it after the second one. And please
- 7:28Speaker 1: know that this is an admission. This ain't bragging. So
- 7:30Speaker 1: before you start in with me, understand what I'm saying.
- 7:34Speaker 1: I'm pointing out in my life a series of missteps
- 7:39Speaker 1: and failures. But how I still get here today A
- 7:45Speaker 1: couple of things. God's grace and mercy is first. But
- 7:52Speaker 1: that's the key. That's for everybody see if it's God's
- 7:55Speaker 1: willingness to forgive you and God's understanding of why we
- 8:01Speaker 1: do what we do because He said we wasn't gonna
- 8:04Speaker 1: be perfect. So in all of your imperfections, your creator
- 8:09Speaker 1: told you you would not be perfect. He's sad it
- 8:12Speaker 1: to you. It's out there. I don't care which one
- 8:15Speaker 1: of the books you read it tells you that. So
- 8:20Speaker 1: guess what With that in mind, he has a grace
- 8:24Speaker 1: that he has. It's like a grace period. It's like
- 8:27Speaker 1: when you don't pay your insurance premium on the day
- 8:30Speaker 1: that is due. The next day. They don't just cancel
- 8:33Speaker 1: your insurance premium. They have a grace period because they
- 8:38Speaker 1: ain't trying to stop this money from coming in. But
- 8:41Speaker 1: when it comes to God, there's no money required. He
- 8:45Speaker 1: just gives you the grace freely. It don't cost you nothing.
- 8:49Speaker 1: So you got tap into that, y'all. You gotta get
- 8:51Speaker 1: in touch with that, because that's an important part to
- 8:54Speaker 1: making it. Understanding that his grace is available. So when
- 8:58Speaker 1: you make a mistake, So when you fail at it,
- 9:02Speaker 1: he has a loophole in the contract with him that
- 9:06Speaker 1: allows you to make mistakes, that allows you to get
- 9:09Speaker 1: it wrong, that allows you to fail time and time
- 9:13Speaker 1: and time again. But if you never give up, if
- 9:16Speaker 1: you keep getting up, if you keep trying, if you
- 9:19Speaker 1: keep striving, if you keep making the effort to go
- 9:23Speaker 1: forward and not go back, God has a blessing for you,
- 9:27Speaker 1: and He has it in abundance for you, and God
- 9:30Speaker 1: will give it to you at the right time. But
- 9:34Speaker 1: you got to be ready. Oh, I want it to
- 9:37Speaker 1: be successful. But if he had given it to me
- 9:40Speaker 1: back then I wouldn't have handled it correctly because I
- 9:44Speaker 1: would have made some more mistakes along the way. So
- 9:48Speaker 1: you make the mistakes to learn the lessons. Lord, they
- 9:53Speaker 1: ain't God been good to me. I ain't gonna lie
- 9:55Speaker 1: to you. You're listening tow fine, everybody here is back?
- 10:03Speaker 1: Does your boy? Jamie Brown with Steve Hobby Morning, y'all.

- 11:55Speaker 1: the house. Yeah, because he loves confidence. I don't like

- 12:41Speaker 1: of that. Ye. No, I'm known to break up a party.

- 13:37Speaker 1: helmet gate with Raiders receiver Antonio Brown. Get ready, Junior,
- 13:41Speaker 1: we'll be back right after this. You're listening to show
- 13:47Speaker 1: all right trending NFL sports talk. Well, guys, you wanted
- 13:50Speaker 1: to talk early, okay, we wanted to get into this
- 13:52Speaker 1: situation early about helmet gate. Uh So, for those of
- 13:55Speaker 1: you who don't know Jay, you weren't here yesterday Oakland
- 13:58Speaker 1: Raiders wide receiver Antonio and I'm sure you know the story.
- 14:01Speaker 1: He wants to wear his old helmet, Okay, but the
- 14:04Speaker 1: NFL denied his request because his old helmet is not
- 14:08Speaker 1: in compliance with the league's new helmet safety rules, which
- 14:12Speaker 1: makes sense. Okay, Well, yesterday Antonio Brown went on Twitter
- 14:17Speaker 1: and asked his social media followers for a newer model
- 14:21Speaker 1: of his preferred helmet in exchange for a signed practice
- 14:25Speaker 1: Raider's helmet, and Antonio found it, Yes he did. The
- 14:30Speaker 1: helmet still needs to be reconditioned and recertified before Antonio
- 14:34Speaker 1: can wear. What you think about that, Junior? Yes, I
- 14:39Speaker 1: am sick. Do we care? Do we really care? We
- 14:44Speaker 1: care about the thirty where's the where the helmet one?
- 14:51Speaker 1: We don't care, Antonio, we don't care. I'm talking to Antonio.
- 14:55Speaker 1: We don't care what a tam on. We don't care
- 15:00Speaker 1: you wear. We put put a tam on. If that
- 15:03Speaker 1: do you have a sunvibe in your cloth? You're making
- 15:08Speaker 1: thirty million dollars. You can even wear a Viking helmet,
- 15:13Speaker 1: but you're gonna be confusing when you play the Vikings.
- 15:18Speaker 1: Can even figure out what hat you want to work?
- 15:20Speaker 1: Do you have? Can you find a church hatred never
- 15:28Speaker 1: get close to you, they'd never get close to you.
- 15:31Speaker 1: I'll tell you what even better that in the same bay,
- 15:34Speaker 1: if you find somebody who ain't using the conducting the
- 15:37Speaker 1: Kentucky Derby hat. Who can't you put that one? Can't
- 15:41Speaker 1: you get that? Wow? We just tied ahead it. We
- 15:47Speaker 1: just find a baby bart it and put that on.
- 15:50Speaker 1: Just get out here on this field. That won't fit it.
- 15:53Speaker 1: I don't care. You're making thirty million. People tired of
- 15:57Speaker 1: finding helmets for you. You're the one playing. We out playing.
- 16:00Speaker 1: What that got to do with us? On Twitter? Twitter people,
- 16:08Speaker 1: I like the baby boy because he is acting like
- 16:10Speaker 1: a baby. He is acting like a baby. Yeah, many,
- 16:14Speaker 1: We don't give a damn if you wear a bee
- 16:16Speaker 1: keeper's hat. Yeah, get out here on this field. You're
- 16:23Speaker 1: making too much money. You can even. I don't care
- 16:29Speaker 1: if you find a Jamaican run by and snatch that
- 16:32Speaker 1: Rastafarians with the black, red and green. Yeah, yeah, you
- 16:37Speaker 1: don't get jumped on. I don't care. Clot we are
- 16:44Speaker 1: sinking it. I don't can't. If you see nick cannon,
- 16:48Speaker 1: grab that turn, put that on. Man. We don't care
- 16:53Speaker 1: that these hats, no, I swear, I don't think it. Yeah,
- 16:57Speaker 1: is mad. But but when you're gonna tweet everybody for
- 17:02Speaker 1: and make us get in ball and find it unnecessary,
- 17:07Speaker 1: I tell you. I'll tell you another one. This is
- 17:10Speaker 1: another one. Can well. We just don't care. If you
- 17:13Speaker 1: go see a cat and a hat hat, get that
- 17:18Speaker 1: one fish, spread fish, two fish, blue fish, get that bread,

- 17:43Speaker 1: I didn't even know that until you said it yesterday.
- 17:45Speaker 1: That's a lot of money. Man, beanie with a propeller
- 17:48Speaker 1: on the top, anybody get you a hat and get
- 17:53Speaker 1: out there. The beanie with what's the name your boy
- 18:03Speaker 1: asked Tracy for his but it just don't make no sense.
- 18:08Speaker 1: I'm holding up everybody holding up here about we didn't
- 18:11Speaker 1: want to talk about football. That's yeah, that's well, it's
- 18:15Speaker 1: pretty through. Yeah, you got you. I'm trying to I
- 18:23Speaker 1: ask you a question about them. So how do you think?
- 18:26Speaker 1: What do you think they're gonna do this season? I
- 18:32Speaker 1: don't know how they're gonna do because he can't seem
- 18:34Speaker 1: to find no hat to wear. So if he ain't
- 18:36Speaker 1: on the field, we don't know how well they're gonna
- 18:38Speaker 1: be if he ain't playing, maybe they win four five games.
- 18:41Speaker 1: I don't know. But we talk about this hat though
- 18:45Speaker 1: I don't have Oh my gosh, okay, so well, I
- 18:53Speaker 1: tell you what, because we see what about the umbrella hat?
- 18:57Speaker 1: That a work that don't work for road games when
- 19:04Speaker 1: it's raining. Put that on on that hat? How about
- 19:07Speaker 1: the hat on that that's a piper on the field?
- 19:21Speaker 1: Like it? Like baby? You know the rules? Quarterback? Quarterback?
- 19:31Speaker 1: Bunch of heads you can put on? What about the
- 19:35Speaker 1: hat that the hat the Hamburger be wearing, you know,
- 19:39Speaker 1: back down, put that hat on and if you don't
- 19:42Speaker 1: like that, just go ahead get a pirate hat. We
- 19:44Speaker 1: don't care you a Rainer. Ain't you Oh my god,
- 19:55Speaker 1: that was too much, right, that was like he's done.
- 20:00Speaker 1: But I don't know, I don't know. I know he
- 20:08Speaker 1: doesn't man fish you on a football fee. You like
- 20:10Speaker 1: to fight? What about a green beret hat. That's a
- 20:14Speaker 1: good head. You can do that, all right, jud we
- 20:20Speaker 1: gotta get than Coming up next, the nephew is here
- 20:25Speaker 1: with the prank phone call, run that prank back. Right
- 20:28Speaker 1: after this, you're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. Coming
- 20:33Speaker 1: up at the top of the hour, entertainment news. Sierra
- 20:36Speaker 1: and Russell Wilson level up with Seattle soccer team ownership
- 20:40Speaker 1: and Jay z yeah into his public beef with the
- 20:44Speaker 1: NFL and signed a huge deal with the league. But
- 20:46Speaker 1: right now, nephew in the building would run that prank back.
- 20:49Speaker 1: What you got for us? Now, that's an alarm at
- 20:51Speaker 1: the gate. That's an alarm at the gate. This right
- 20:56Speaker 1: here is called alarm alert. It is alarm arm alert. Yeah,
- 21:03Speaker 1: let's go cat dog alarm at the gate, alm alert.

- 21:11Speaker 1: this is Denise. Hi, Denise, this is Tony. I'm calling security.
- 21:17Speaker 1: I've got an alarm that we've got an alarm that's
- 21:19Speaker 1: gone off on you guys. Property is all right, are
- 21:21Speaker 1: you guys? We're just checking before we send authorities out.
- 21:25Speaker 1: Is everything okay? Then maybe someone trip the alarm. Oh
- 21:28Speaker 1: my gosh, No, I'm at work. I'm at work right now.
- 21:32Speaker 1: I'm not home. Okay. Do you have a tet or
- 21:35Speaker 1: dog or anything that could actually trip the alarm? No, No,
- 21:39Speaker 1: that's strange. It never goes off like that. I'm nervous. Okay,
- 21:44Speaker 1: give you a second. We've got a call into the
- 21:46Speaker 1: neighborhood security that actually are en route to the property,
- 21:50Speaker 1: and they were going to give us UM some information
- 21:53Speaker 1: before we actually sent sent the police officers out, unless
- 21:57Speaker 1: you would like for me to send them out now.
- 21:58Speaker 1: But yeah, I feel like he's setting the police. I mean,
- 22:01Speaker 1: if I'm not home and nobody's home and my alarms
- 22:04Speaker 1: going off and it never goes off that, I'm worried. Okay,
- 22:09Speaker 1: hang on one second. This is neighborhood security calling that.
- 22:12Speaker 1: Hang on one second. I'll be right back to you. Okay, niece,
- 22:15Speaker 1: are you there, Yes, yes, yes, I'm here. They have
- 22:19Speaker 1: UM they're out there at the property, the neighborhood security.
- 22:22Speaker 1: Do you um, there is a black guy there is
- 22:26Speaker 1: only your premise. Are you familiar with who that might be? Well,
- 22:31Speaker 1: I mean, my husband's black, but he should be at
- 22:33Speaker 1: work right now. Okay, oh, definitely, okay, and he probably
- 22:38Speaker 1: would have texted me if you know the alarm is
- 22:41Speaker 1: going off. Okay, Well, I mean, do you have any
- 22:43Speaker 1: other black male friends? Excuse me? Do you have any
- 22:48Speaker 1: other Do you have any other black male friends that
- 22:51Speaker 1: might be at the house. I mean, yeah, it's a
- 22:56Speaker 1: very weird question. I mean I have black friends, yes,
- 22:59Speaker 1: but I don't think they would be in my house. Okay, Well,
- 23:03Speaker 1: I mean should we just assume that this is your husband?
- 23:05Speaker 1: What do you think? I I mean, what would you
- 23:08Speaker 1: like to work? I mean what? How tall is this person?
- 23:13Speaker 1: My husband's six three. Hold on one second, let me
- 23:17Speaker 1: go back to the scurry from the nightwood. I ain't
- 23:19Speaker 1: one second know if somebody's in my larm's going off.
- 23:24Speaker 1: I don't know. I mean, okay, Denise, yes, okay, they
- 23:29Speaker 1: have The black guy that they're looking at is about
- 23:32Speaker 1: five foot ten, maybe late twenties. How old is your husband? No,
- 23:39Speaker 1: my husband is I just told you that my husband's
- 23:42Speaker 1: not there. He would have texted me or called me
- 23:45Speaker 1: and told me that he accidentally set the alarm off,
- 23:49Speaker 1: and I'm actually going to text him. I mean, this
- 23:51Speaker 1: is crazy. I should probably call him. Okay, you do
- 23:54Speaker 1: realize if we send you do realize if we send
- 23:56Speaker 1: the authorities out and this is a false call, that
- 23:59Speaker 1: you're gonna get for that. You do know that, right,
- 24:01Speaker 1: a false call. You just said somebody's in my house
- 24:04Speaker 1: and it's not me or my husband. You're saying your
- 24:10Speaker 1: husband's black, and then there's a black guy there. I mean,
- 24:13Speaker 1: they probably know each other, right? Are you kidding me?
- 24:17Speaker 1: What kind of question is that? Why? Because they're both black.
- 24:22Speaker 1: I'm just trying to save you some money, ma'am. I
- 24:24Speaker 1: don't want to send out police officers when they get
- 24:26Speaker 1: there and then all of a sudden, your husband knows
- 24:28Speaker 1: the black guy or he's he's a relative or something.
- 24:31Speaker 1: I mean, do they I mean, you know, do you
- 24:33Speaker 1: want to call the Do you think like this? This
- 24:38Speaker 1: is really offensive? And and I don't understand if I'm
- 24:42Speaker 1: telling you that I don't know who the person is
- 24:44Speaker 1: in my house, that means you to send the police.
- 24:48Speaker 1: I mean, this is ridiculous. Think what they're calling back neighborhoods.
- 24:54Speaker 1: He just hold on one second. Neighborhood security is calling
- 24:57Speaker 1: back here. Oh my god, this is ridiculous. Okay, Denise.
- 25:05Speaker 1: Now the security in the neighborhood. They're telling me that
- 25:10Speaker 1: this guy just drove out of the garage and a
- 25:12Speaker 1: white pickup. Do you do you guys have a white pickup? Yes,
- 25:16Speaker 1: we do. So this guy just pulled out of your
- 25:20Speaker 1: your your garage and a white pickup. Well, I have
- 25:23Speaker 1: my car at work and my husband has his car
- 25:26Speaker 1: that's like the truck that he uses on the weekends
- 25:29Speaker 1: for like construction and stuff. So that means somebody just
- 25:32Speaker 1: stole our car. I can't believe this is happening. You
- 25:36Speaker 1: are watching somebody in my house and you you basically
- 25:38Speaker 1: watch them steal my truck. Well, well, I'm gonna go
- 25:42Speaker 1: ahead now and get the police to go over. Okay,
- 25:45Speaker 1: why are you going to send them? Now? He probably
- 25:48Speaker 1: took all my ship in my house. I mean, the
- 25:51Speaker 1: police get there. There's not gonna be anything left in
- 25:53Speaker 1: my house, probably the back of the truck. I mean,
- 25:56Speaker 1: I'm doing the best I can. I'm trying to help
- 25:58Speaker 1: you out of you is going to do me now?
- 26:01Speaker 1: I mean the whole time you've been talking to me,
- 26:03Speaker 1: he's been cleaning up my house out and stealing. Well,
- 26:07Speaker 1: how did you get in your house? I don't know.
- 26:11Speaker 1: I don't know this guy. You're what I'm just asking you?
- 26:17Speaker 1: How could somebody gave her house? Did you leave something open?
- 26:20Speaker 1: What did you go? Hey, listen, you would know because
- 26:24Speaker 1: I wouldn't have been able to set my alarm this morning.
- 26:27Speaker 1: If something was open, it would beef. Then it wouldn't
- 26:30Speaker 1: let me set the alarm. And the fact that you're
- 26:32Speaker 1: interrogating me when somebody's robbing my house. You need to
- 26:36Speaker 1: do your job. I need to call my husband. You're
- 26:40Speaker 1: wasting my time. I mean, by this time the police
- 26:42Speaker 1: get there, it's going to be tomorrow. So you're gonna
- 26:45Speaker 1: so you're gonna call Darrel now, I'm sorry, you're gonna
- 26:49Speaker 1: call Darrel? Now? How do you know my husband's name? Denise?
- 26:58Speaker 1: This is nephew telling me for the Steve I Me
- 27:00Speaker 1: Morning show. Your husband Darrel got me through prank phone coffee.
- 27:04Speaker 1: Oh oh my god. I was gonna come down there
- 27:08Speaker 1: and right. Nobody stole your truck, nobody's at your house,
- 27:19Speaker 1: Your alarm is fine, everything is good. But Darrel told me,
- 27:22Speaker 1: he said, we gotta get my wife, we gotta get
- 27:24Speaker 1: a good that's so did we get you? Oh my god,
- 27:30Speaker 1: I was sweating. I was so angry. I was sweating
- 27:33Speaker 1: over here. All right, So tell me this. What is
- 27:37Speaker 1: the baddest and I mean the baddest radio show in
- 27:40Speaker 1: the land. So Steve Harvey Morning showy old days to do?
- 27:54Speaker 1: You know how to feel? You're gonna get it one
- 28:01Speaker 1: day every low and then all right, but that's the
- 28:05Speaker 1: Blues and Jazz Supper Club. I've been talking about it,
- 28:08Speaker 1: Oh my god, and it's going down. They'll build little blues,
- 28:11Speaker 1: a little jazz, a little supper and a little bit
- 28:14Speaker 1: of comedy from Tommedy. All right, Jay off from playing
- 28:20Speaker 1: the harmonica. Well we haven't well, we haven't had rehearsal.
- 28:25Speaker 1: And then you know, Jay wants to be impromptu, and
- 28:28Speaker 1: there's other things that Jay and I need to be working.
- 28:30Speaker 1: All I threw that out there. I'm done. You're so talented.
- 28:37Speaker 1: You're so Mike, You're so talented, nephew. Coming up at
- 28:45Speaker 1: the top of the hour, Entertainment and National News. Right
- 28:49Speaker 1: after this, you're listening show and Entertainment news talk about
- 28:57Speaker 1: leveling up. Check this out. Russell and Sierra Wilson are
- 29:01Speaker 1: now part owners of the Seattle Sounders soccer club, The Wilsons. Yes, congratulations. Yeah,
- 29:07Speaker 1: that's how you level up, right there, level up, level up.
- 29:10Speaker 1: The Wilsons are now a part of eleven families who
- 29:13Speaker 1: are part of the Seattle Sounders Ownership group. Go Sierra
- 29:16Speaker 1: and Russell. That's a lot of split love people, tim
- 29:20Speaker 1: people own so I think how much as they make,
- 29:26Speaker 1: I think it would be congratulations, that's what you're right here.
- 29:30Speaker 1: Congratulat Yeah, just dance a hand. I want to see it. Also,
- 29:42Speaker 1: on other level up news, the NFL and jay Z
- 29:45Speaker 1: have ended their public beef and now they have teamed
- 29:48Speaker 1: up on a music and social justice campaign. The NFL
- 29:51Speaker 1: has signed a deal with jay Z to consult with
- 29:54Speaker 1: him on music entertainment, which of course includes the Super
- 29:57Speaker 1: Bowl halftime shows and yeah, that's big right there, that's big,
- 30:02Speaker 1: uh huh, and the league will also consult with jay
- 30:06Speaker 1: Z on social justice efforts. According to The New York Times,
- 30:10Speaker 1: NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell says the league needs someone to
- 30:14Speaker 1: tell them what they can do better, and they think
- 30:18Speaker 1: j is there. Man can get an a helmet. Can
- 30:21Speaker 1: he get him a helmet? Birth? Yeah? And finally, Yeah,
- 30:34Speaker 1: that is that's really cool. Yeah it is z that's big.
- 30:39Speaker 1: That is really really epic, epic And finally, a thief
- 30:44Speaker 1: reportedly made off with five hundred thousand dollars worth of
- 30:48Speaker 1: electronics and jewelry from Alex Rodriguez's rental car while he
- 30:53Speaker 1: was in San Francisco. He got that much in a
- 30:57Speaker 1: yeahs and jewel jewelry. Yeah, he was in San Francisco
- 31:04Speaker 1: broadcasting a Giant's Phillies game. Oh did you You didn't
- 31:08Speaker 1: even know that? Yeah, he had a better thing to do.
- 31:15Speaker 1: Apparently he had it on a radio. He stayed out,
- 31:17Speaker 1: He stayed out. Kim Z said someone broken to a
- 31:22Speaker 1: Rod's rented as UV just a few blocks from Oracle
- 31:25Speaker 1: Park on Sunday, and according to the San Francisco Police Department, jewelry,
- 31:29Speaker 1: a laptop and camera, and electronic electronic equipment were among
- 31:33Speaker 1: the stolen items. A rep for a Rod said that
- 31:37Speaker 1: value of his items is being grossly exaggerated and a
- 31:40Speaker 1: Rod doesn't put a monetary value on the stolen goods.
- 31:44Speaker 1: A Rod released a statement, I am saddened that several
- 31:46Speaker 1: items that were of our personal nature and irreplaceable with
- 31:50Speaker 1: sentimental value were taken. I am encouraged that local law
- 31:53Speaker 1: enforcement has security footage of the crime and are doing
- 31:56Speaker 1: all they can to get the items here. You know,
- 31:59Speaker 1: the thief called time laugh that much I went to
- 32:08Speaker 1: because why would you leave that much in a car? Yeah,
- 32:10Speaker 1: I don't get it. I gonna let you go nowhere
- 32:13Speaker 1: out by yourself. So that's why his replu saying that's
- 32:18Speaker 1: grossly exactly yeah right, yeah, yeah, value. Okay, well, yeah,
- 32:23Speaker 1: that's good. Hopefully they'll find good luck finding that stuff.
- 32:27Speaker 1: Yeah that's already yeah, but at least one necklace hang
- 32:31Speaker 1: around somebody, Nick the one that Yeah, that's sad. The
- 32:38Speaker 1: cameras everywhere now, and that's what he said. Yeah, he
- 32:41Speaker 1: hopes that, uh, the security cameras will find the person.
- 32:46Speaker 1: So he believes in law enforcement and them doing their job.
- 32:50Speaker 1: So that's cool. All right, Jay, Time for headlines. Everybody's
- 32:54Speaker 1: time for the news with miss and Tripp. Thank you
- 32:58Speaker 1: very much, everybody, This is a trip with the news.
- 33:00Speaker 1: Five people were arrested and two police officers were injured
- 33:03Speaker 1: during yesterday's protests at Hong Kong International Airport. The demonstrations
- 33:07Speaker 1: were sparked in June when the government of Mainland China
- 33:11Speaker 1: their new extradition law went into effect, and then then
- 33:14Speaker 1: they said they rescinded it by people in Hong Kong
- 33:16Speaker 1: very very nervous that they feel that if anybody has
- 33:19Speaker 1: tried for any kind of crime in Hong Kong, that
- 33:22Speaker 1: that person would reactuly die to China, Mainland China and
- 33:25Speaker 1: be tried there. So that's what they really upset about.
- 33:27Speaker 1: By the way, the airport is open again this morning.
- 33:30Speaker 1: The Justice Department has reassigned the warden who's been in
- 33:33Speaker 1: charge of the Manhattan Federal Prison where registered sex offender
- 33:36Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein was found dead Saturday of an apparent suicide.
- 33:39Speaker 1: He's been temporarily assigned to another facility. The two correction
- 33:43Speaker 1: officers that were on duty there have also been placed
- 33:45Speaker 1: on leave as the investigation continues into just what happened.
- 33:49Speaker 1: Reports are this morning that they dozed off for about
- 33:51Speaker 1: three hours. The billionaire financier was awaiting trial on sex
- 33:54Speaker 1: trafficking charges, and meanwhile, President Trump is defending his decision
- 33:58Speaker 1: to share a tweet suggesting here we go Bill and
- 34:01Speaker 1: Hilly Clinton were involved in Epstein's suicide. Basically, what where daggers?
- 34:05Speaker 1: Did want an investigation? I want a full investigation, and
- 34:09Speaker 1: that's when I absolutely am demanded. That's what our attorney general,
- 34:14Speaker 1: our great attorney general untility. He's going the fuller vestigator
- 34:17Speaker 1: and then the exrected. You have to ask his did
- 34:20Speaker 1: Bill Clinton go to the island? But Epstein had an
- 34:23Speaker 1: island and I was gend there, So you have to
- 34:27Speaker 1: ask did Bill close to the island? All that noise
- 34:31Speaker 1: is because he was in front of Air Force one. However,
- 34:33Speaker 1: New York City mayor and presidential hopeful Bill Blasio sees
- 34:36Speaker 1: it all as classic Trump. Donald Trump doing his famous
- 34:40Speaker 1: baton switched. I call him condon for a reason. He's
- 34:43Speaker 1: a con man. He is trying to get people to
- 34:45Speaker 1: think about the Clinton's when the guy who runs the
- 34:47Speaker 1: Justice Department, the guy in charge of the federal prisons
- 34:50Speaker 1: is Donald Trump, Like he's ultimately responsible for the very
- 34:54Speaker 1: place that was holding Epstein. So how did happen? He
- 34:58Speaker 1: was your friend, He's Trump's friends. What is Trump hiding?
- 35:01Speaker 1: That should be the question? On what else is new?
- 35:04Speaker 1: Trump's changed his mind about something again. This time, the
- 35:06Speaker 1: presidents decided to postpone more than half of the tariffs
- 35:09Speaker 1: that he threatened to slap on Chinese imports next month.
- 35:12Speaker 1: A number of very popular consumer items were going to
- 35:14Speaker 1: be targeted, like cell phones and laptop computers, even some
- 35:17Speaker 1: toys and clothing. A spokesperson for the National Retail Federation
- 35:21Speaker 1: says they welcome the postponement because they were hoping not
- 35:23Speaker 1: to see consumers hurt this coming Christmas. Nevertheless, other tariffs
- 35:27Speaker 1: are still taking effect, though on more than one hundred
- 35:29Speaker 1: million dollars of Chinese goods next months and other ones.
- 35:32Speaker 1: The Trump administration's immigration officials sort of waxing poetic. The
- 35:36Speaker 1: acting head of the Citizenship and Immigration Services, Ken Cuccinello,
- 35:39Speaker 1: says some of the words of the poem on the
- 35:41Speaker 1: Statue of Liberty should be changed. Instead of give me
- 35:43Speaker 1: your tied to your poor, your huddle masses, he said,
- 35:46Speaker 1: it should be give me your tied your poor, who
- 35:48Speaker 1: can stand on their own feet and who will not
- 35:50Speaker 1: become public charges. Now back to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 35:53Speaker 1: You're listening to the String Show from an Academy Award
- 35:58Speaker 1: winning writer of Moonlight, ll Alvin McCraney and executive producers
- 36:02Speaker 1: Michael b. Jordan and Oprah Winfrey comes owns highly anticipated
- 36:07Speaker 1: new drama series David Makes Man. The show already as
- 36:11Speaker 1: critics raving, calling it captivating, vibrant, and powerful. Find out
- 36:15Speaker 1: why Oprah describes this as poetry on TV. Don't miss
- 36:19Speaker 1: the series premiere of David makes Man, presented with limited
- 36:23Speaker 1: commercial interruption tonight at ten nine Central on OWN. Following
- 36:28Speaker 1: an all new episode of the critically acclaimed drama Queen Sugar,
- 36:33Speaker 1: civil rights attorney Benjamin Crump has requested the release of
- 36:37Speaker 1: body camera footage recorded by two mounted Galveston police officers
- 36:41Speaker 1: who led a handcuffed black man, mister Robert Neely is
- 36:45Speaker 1: his name on foot with what appeared to be a
- 36:49Speaker 1: rope down the city streets. Yeah. Many are outraged about
- 36:54Speaker 1: the photo of the arrest and argued as well, they
- 36:57Speaker 1: should be. We should be and argued that the image
- 37:00Speaker 1: of a handcuffed black man walking behind officers on horses
- 37:04Speaker 1: was airily reminiscent of the use of patriots to catch
- 37:08Speaker 1: to catch enslaved men and women who fled Southern plantations
- 37:11Speaker 1: before the Civil War. Wow, yeah that that Yeah, I
- 37:15Speaker 1: think that's an accurate comparison to the police department apologized
- 37:20Speaker 1: last week, but the department's apology and pledge that it
- 37:23Speaker 1: would no longer use this practice is not enough for some.
- 37:27Speaker 1: Come on now. Many argue that while changing the procedure
- 37:31Speaker 1: is necessary, the officers who arrested and transported mister Neelie
- 37:35Speaker 1: should also be disciplined or fired for the incident. Attorney
- 37:39Speaker 1: Crump will stage a great march on Galveston if the
- 37:43Speaker 1: body cam footage is not released. Okay, yeah, that was
- 37:50Speaker 1: so demeanian degrading as yeah, yeah, yeah, but why yeah, yeah,
- 38:00Speaker 1: I'm sorry that I miss what was the crime? Carl?
- 38:02Speaker 1: He was trespassing and his family is saying that, you know,
- 38:08Speaker 1: he had mental health issues. Wouldn't it have been smarter
- 38:11Speaker 1: to call a squad card And they're just staying there
- 38:14Speaker 1: and wait with the guy, and that's what they want,
- 38:16Speaker 1: the image, They want the image, But to have him
- 38:20Speaker 1: walk down the street in the heat in Galveston and Houston,
- 38:24Speaker 1: the how hot it is. It's up to one hundred
- 38:27Speaker 1: and four and five degrees and for people that don't
- 38:29Speaker 1: know Galveston, it's about forty five miles away from Houston,
- 38:33Speaker 1: and in the heat, you had him walking. That's what
- 38:37Speaker 1: everyone is saying what you just said, Tommy, why didn't
- 38:39Speaker 1: you call a patrol card to arrest this man and
- 38:42Speaker 1: put him out the car? We know why? And they
- 38:45Speaker 1: get back to the station and laugh about it. Anytime,
- 38:48Speaker 1: anytime a officer that's on horseback arrest someone, they just
- 38:52Speaker 1: wait until a car comes and picks this person up.
- 38:55Speaker 1: I've seen it in New Orleans all the time, but
- 38:58Speaker 1: wasn't about that. Yeah, it was the image they wanted, right,
- 39:01Speaker 1: And how how is this okay? You're exactly right, jee,
- 39:04Speaker 1: How do you how did they think this was okay? Well,
- 39:07Speaker 1: the police chief did say that the officers use bad
- 39:11Speaker 1: judgment and embarrass uh mister Neely And is it just
- 39:16Speaker 1: it's just horrible even though they say they won't use
- 39:18Speaker 1: these practices. Again, I think those officers, if they use
- 39:21Speaker 1: bad judgment, hey, the should lose their job. Yeah. Well,
- 39:27Speaker 1: you know we died from bad judgment, so absolutely absolutely. Well,
- 39:31Speaker 1: if you're outraged by this image like we are, post
- 39:34Speaker 1: your comments on Steve Harvey FM. Coming up CNN's anchor
- 39:38Speaker 1: Chris Cuomo's encounter with a heckler viral, let make people say,
- 39:44Speaker 1: and we're gonna get after it. At thirty four after
- 39:46Speaker 1: the hour, right after this, you're listening to show. All right, guys,
- 39:52Speaker 1: let's get after this all right and trending viral video.
- 39:56Speaker 1: News CNN is standing by its anchor Chris Cuomo, who
- 39:59Speaker 1: got into a very heated exchange with a heckler in
- 40:03Speaker 1: a video that went crazy viral. Okay, Cuomo, primetime host,
- 40:08Speaker 1: was attending an event with his nine year old daughter
- 40:10Speaker 1: when he was approached by a man who called him Fredo.
- 40:14Speaker 1: And you know who Fredo is, Godfather. Yeah, he was weak,
- 40:19Speaker 1: he was a weak son. You disappoint me freedom uh
- 40:21Speaker 1: huh uh. Cuomo took it as an ethnic flurge, too
- 40:25Speaker 1: is Italian heritage, and compared it to calling blacks the
- 40:29Speaker 1: N word. Uh. He then launched into that's yeah, that's
- 40:34Speaker 1: what he said. That's what he said. He then launched
- 40:37Speaker 1: into a profanity lace tirade. Take a listen to this,
- 40:40Speaker 1: Chris Cuomo. He was from the godfather. There was a
- 40:44Speaker 1: weak brother, Italian aspersion. You Aian insulting the people, insulting people.
- 40:54Speaker 1: It's us. It's not like not like an word been
- 41:02Speaker 1: around too. I'm with you, Komo. I like you, Okay,
- 41:06Speaker 1: I love you, but but you know you ain't way
- 41:11Speaker 1: over here though, No, you can't come on this side. No,
- 41:14Speaker 1: not an word, been around way longer. Yeah no, no,
- 41:20Speaker 1: but and we need to get after it. But no
- 41:22Speaker 1: we can't. You know, I don't hear any word. Please,
- 41:24Speaker 1: I ain't hear fraid oh please. But he's human though,
- 41:32Speaker 1: we got to see a whole another side of Chris. Yeah.
- 41:37Speaker 1: I bet he felt bad because his little girl was there.
- 41:39Speaker 1: I bet yeah he did. He snapped. CNN though announced
- 41:43Speaker 1: they are in full support of Chris Cuomo and uh,
- 41:47Speaker 1: get a load of this. President Trump has chimed in
- 41:50Speaker 1: on the Chris Cuomo video, tweeting I thought Chris was
- 41:53Speaker 1: fraid o. Also, he made it easy. He's making it easier.
- 41:59Speaker 1: The truth hurts totally lost it. Low ratings at CNN.
- 42:03Speaker 1: Oh really, really, mister president, this is all you have
- 42:07Speaker 1: to do in a day to matter. Are scared to
- 42:11Speaker 1: hell out his little girl too? And I've seen daddy
- 42:14Speaker 1: back like that. Yeah, well you probably had well, I
- 42:17Speaker 1: mean yeah, an answer to that, Chris tweeted that these
- 42:20Speaker 1: encounters happened often in front of his family, and there
- 42:23Speaker 1: is a lesson no need to add to the ugliness,
- 42:26Speaker 1: you know, I mean, come on, everybody loses it from
- 42:28Speaker 1: time to time, you know, everybody. So he said he
- 42:31Speaker 1: learned a lesson. Yeah, yeah, he went to far. He said, yeah,
- 42:36Speaker 1: I have coming up with some names that we can
- 42:38Speaker 1: call him that won't set him all. Chrisom, Yeah, Chris

- 45:21Speaker 1: all right? All right, here let's go catch do peacan
- 45:24Speaker 1: the pecan tree. Y'all right here? Hello, Hello, I'm trying
- 45:28Speaker 1: to reach LC. Hey, let me let me Hey. My
- 45:33Speaker 1: name is Marcus. Uh. My mama and them little next
- 45:36Speaker 1: dough to you, mister, and missus my mom and daddy
- 45:40Speaker 1: little next dough to you. And I was calling because
- 45:43Speaker 1: y'all got a pecan tree in y'all backyard. I mean
- 45:46Speaker 1: right on the fence line, and it keeps, you know,
- 45:49Speaker 1: pecan and stuff keep falling over to my mom and
- 45:52Speaker 1: them yard. So I tall them to see if y'all
- 45:54Speaker 1: can do something man, where y'all can pick up I mean,
- 45:59Speaker 1: my mama and name got a lit older you know,
- 46:00Speaker 1: we've been picking them up for a long time, but
- 46:03Speaker 1: I need somebody to, like, maybe you can cut the
- 46:05Speaker 1: limbs back that's hanging over so that they won't, you know,
- 46:08Speaker 1: the pecans won't be falling over into my mom and
- 46:11Speaker 1: them yard because you know, for them to be bending
- 46:13Speaker 1: over like they're picking up them pacan and it's a
- 46:15Speaker 1: lot of them. So you know, mister, I just wanted
- 46:18Speaker 1: to haul at you and see if you don't mind
- 46:20Speaker 1: maybe cutting the limbs back, because even when we turned
- 46:23Speaker 1: the lamo on and stuff. Man, it just you know,
- 46:26Speaker 1: the pacons and stuff be coming out of the lamo
- 46:28Speaker 1: just shooting all over the place. Well, first of all,
- 46:31Speaker 1: Mama con tres an old coon tree and all. It's
- 46:36Speaker 1: fought well, and I can't see me cutting it. Well,
- 46:41Speaker 1: I mean, I'm not saying you can't maintain your yard,
- 46:46Speaker 1: but I mean you your mother. You can maintain your
- 46:50Speaker 1: mother's yard. So I go by my mother's house, you know,
- 46:53Speaker 1: every other day and check on them. But I don't
- 46:55Speaker 1: have time to go on the back and pick up
- 46:57Speaker 1: pecans and stuff. You know what I'm saying. I mean,
- 46:59Speaker 1: if you just it don't seem no more than like
- 47:01Speaker 1: maybe four or five limbs that's hanging over there. But
- 47:04Speaker 1: them four or five limbs, I mean they they there's
- 47:07Speaker 1: a lot of pecans falling off of that. So if
- 47:09Speaker 1: you my pacon tree to shady, I go back there.
- 47:14Speaker 1: There's no kind of nothing back the okay whatever, sir,
- 47:20Speaker 1: I'm not cutting my tree for a little like that. Sir. Listen,
- 47:23Speaker 1: what I'm what I'm trying to get you to do
- 47:25Speaker 1: is I'm not I want you cutting your entire tree down.
- 47:28Speaker 1: I just want you to cut a few limbs, sir,
- 47:30Speaker 1: So you know those that way that those are the
- 47:33Speaker 1: ones that are hanging over it won't be you know,
- 47:34Speaker 1: the pecans won't be falling over into my mom's and
- 47:37Speaker 1: them yard. And and and you know, like I say,
- 47:39Speaker 1: they're older now, man, they can't be bending over like that.
- 47:41Speaker 1: So you know, I'm I'm just coming to you as
- 47:44Speaker 1: a man right now and asking you when you please
- 47:47Speaker 1: cut this down to these pecans and quit falling over
- 47:49Speaker 1: my mom and them yard. Well, I'm asking you. All
- 47:52Speaker 1: you can do is hire someone someone I know your mother.
- 47:56Speaker 1: Don't cut your yard. No, it's it's a guy that
- 47:58Speaker 1: it's a guy that cuts the yard. But even when
- 48:01Speaker 1: he cutting the yard, these pecans is flying out from
- 48:04Speaker 1: underneath the yard. The law more they sooner, lady, we're
- 48:07Speaker 1: gonna be breaking windows over that. What kind of lord
- 48:10Speaker 1: person you have that don't pick up before they cut?
- 48:13Speaker 1: That's food? Why am I arguing with you about picking
- 48:16Speaker 1: up stuff and all of this? I'm asking you to
- 48:18Speaker 1: cut a funking let five limbs so these dog gonna

- 48:39Speaker 1: I didn't ask you like a man to cut your

- 48:44Speaker 1: What what what you you? You you bad enough? You
- 48:49Speaker 1: can't cut it. I look sir, tonight today, Rother, this evening.
- 48:55Speaker 1: It's either gonna be two things happening. Either you're gonna
- 48:58Speaker 1: cut the five limbs that I want cut, I'm gonna
- 49:00Speaker 1: cut cut the whole damn for corn tree down. That's
- 49:03Speaker 1: my tree in any game, nobody's gonna with my tree.

- 49:18Speaker 1: your know I got it because it's the same is
- 49:21Speaker 1: one that dress less than my mama's. You're gonna cut
- 49:24Speaker 1: this damn tree down. I'm waiting on them. But anyway, man,
- 49:27Speaker 1: I ain't using my treep for stepping in a long time.
- 49:29Speaker 1: Any wait, I've been waiting on them like you. You

- 54:22Speaker 1: for you. Here. It is the Strawberry Letter, all right.
- 54:26Speaker 1: Subject my neighbor wants to borrow a few things. Dear
- 54:29Speaker 1: Stephen Shirley, I'm a thirty four year old male who
- 54:32Speaker 1: is currently dating a female that lives two hundred miles
- 54:36Speaker 1: from me. We make an effort to meet three times
- 54:38Speaker 1: a month, mostly on weekends. I do love her, but
- 54:43Speaker 1: I have a big problem that will interfere with the
- 54:45Speaker 1: progression of our relationship. You see, I deal with multiple
- 54:49Speaker 1: girls on the side. During weekdays. The girls come to
- 54:53Speaker 1: my place and we keep it strictly sexual and nothing more.
- 54:57Speaker 1: The girls are not the problem. They all know that
- 55:00Speaker 1: I have a girlfriend and they are all okay with it.
- 55:03Speaker 1: My problem is with my nosy meddling neighbor. He lives
- 55:09Speaker 1: right across from me and has met my girlfriend and
- 55:12Speaker 1: chatted with her a few times in passing. The other day,
- 55:16Speaker 1: my neighbor and I were leaving at the same time
- 55:18Speaker 1: and he let me know that he is not pleased
- 55:21Speaker 1: with the fact that I have so many women coming
- 55:23Speaker 1: in and out of my apartment and when I have
- 55:25Speaker 1: sex in my living room he can hear it all
- 55:28Speaker 1: in the hallway. He said, I should feel like crap
- 55:32Speaker 1: for being a cheater, and my girlfriend doesn't deserve that.
- 55:35Speaker 1: Then I couldn't believe what this clown said. Next, he
- 55:38Speaker 1: asked me to hook him up with some of my
- 55:40Speaker 1: girls that come by, and if I didn't. If I didn't,
- 55:46Speaker 1: he's going to have to talk to my girlfriend about
- 55:48Speaker 1: me cheating on her. He said. He has pictures of
- 55:51Speaker 1: the girls going in and out of my apartment. And
- 55:54Speaker 1: how on earth should I handle this mess? Should I
- 55:56Speaker 1: tell my girlfriend about what's going on and be man
- 55:59Speaker 1: enough to accept it if she breaks up with me?
- 56:02Speaker 1: Or should I go over and whoop this guy's behind.
- 56:06Speaker 1: I don't do well with snitches, and I'm definitely not
- 56:08Speaker 1: going to supply girls for him. Well, uh, you know what,
- 56:13Speaker 1: writer of this letter, sir, If you guys do break
- 56:16Speaker 1: up my chance, please let the record show right here
- 56:20Speaker 1: that I will not be shedding one tier for you
- 56:23Speaker 1: as far as I'm concerned. You'll just be getting what
- 56:25Speaker 1: you deserve. Cheater, cheater, all right, this is what you
- 56:29Speaker 1: do to someone you claim to love. Come on now,
- 56:33Speaker 1: So so if you love her, hate hate her, hate me, okay,
- 56:36Speaker 1: because I don't want your love, because this is what
- 56:38Speaker 1: if this is what you do now? As far as
- 56:40Speaker 1: your little extortionist blackmailing nosy neighbor is concerned he's dead wrong.
- 56:46Speaker 1: We all know he's dead wrong. He needs to mind
- 56:49Speaker 1: his very own business, leave yours alone. Of course, he's
- 56:52Speaker 1: probably at the door listening. He can't hear all in
- 56:55Speaker 1: the hallway. He's nosy like that. He's probably at your door.
- 56:59Speaker 1: You know. I don't know whether he agrees with what
- 57:04Speaker 1: you're doing or not. He's just wrong. I mean, he's
- 57:07Speaker 1: just out of order. I don't think you should beat
- 57:09Speaker 1: him down, though. I don't think that, because this neighbor
- 57:12Speaker 1: sounds a little cuckoo. So he could get the police involved,
- 57:15Speaker 1: he could file charges. You don't want that. I know
- 57:20Speaker 1: you don't want that, and you're right, Uh, don't give
- 57:23Speaker 1: him any girls, you're not a pamp or anything like that.
- 57:26Speaker 1: I mean, really, he's trying to blackmail you. Come on now.
- 57:29Speaker 1: I think a good old fashioned, like you know, intimidating
- 57:34Speaker 1: like conversation with some of your mean mug and boys.
- 57:37Speaker 1: I think that might help this situation. You're gonna have
- 57:41Speaker 1: to call his bluff. I don't think he's going to
- 57:43Speaker 1: tell your girlfriend. I just don't feel he's going to
- 57:45Speaker 1: do that. But I just think you should take a
- 57:47Speaker 1: couple of your boys over there and intimidate him, call
- 57:49Speaker 1: his bluff. He's probably real scary. He'll probably back down
- 57:52Speaker 1: after that. I think he will. Junior um. I don't
- 57:56Speaker 1: really condone his behavior with all the girls and everything.
- 57:59Speaker 1: You know, I don't. You don't. Don't cant about that
- 58:02Speaker 1: now I'm caiding about all that. I don't. That's not
- 58:04Speaker 1: what the threat is. What I'm talking about the threat.
- 58:09Speaker 1: I feel he should whoop and forget what I'm doing this,
- 58:13Speaker 1: Just say you're gonna you're gonna tattle on me? Oh no,
- 58:16Speaker 1: whoop him? Tell who what what did you even doing
- 58:19Speaker 1: talking to my girl? You ain't gonna be him talking
- 58:21Speaker 1: to now? Then what he should do he should tell him, man,
- 58:26Speaker 1: I got one for you. Come on over and when
- 58:28Speaker 1: you get in there, that's when you can whoop him.
- 58:31Speaker 1: Because now he ain't your house. See now, you ain't
- 58:33Speaker 1: your word about the point of charge. He ain't your house.
- 58:35Speaker 1: You now you Scott, Now you Scott free. Now where
- 58:40Speaker 1: he's seeing you, he don't have nothing to say now
- 58:42Speaker 1: now because you're not already to handle the business now.
- 58:44Speaker 1: So I feel that's his best way to go about
- 58:46Speaker 1: doing it. I don't feel no other kind of way
- 58:48Speaker 1: about to forget all the other stuff. It's just the
- 58:50Speaker 1: threat you made, the threat you made to another man
- 58:53Speaker 1: about his own lifestyle. And you don't pay now bill
- 58:56Speaker 1: in my house. You don't pay no bills over there.
- 58:59Speaker 1: That's true. That ain't got nothing do with you. Oh kay,
- 59:02Speaker 1: what are you I'm doing over it? The ain't got
- 59:03Speaker 1: nothing to do with you. They needn't mind damn business.
- 59:05Speaker 1: Oh this I'm gonna be a real lifetime life. I
- 59:10Speaker 1: like it. Invite him to. I learned that from my grandmother.
- 59:14Speaker 1: When you come in this y'all and you didn't ask you,
- 59:16Speaker 1: you call police, but you was in here. We got
- 59:19Speaker 1: evidence you was in here, and that way you can
- 59:22Speaker 1: avoid getting in trouble with the police. Yeah, okay, yes,
- 59:25Speaker 1: I definitely think he'll call. Oh he's gonna call. Uh huh.
- 59:29Speaker 1: But if anybody Junior learned from his grandma, ye, damn Paul.
- 59:35Speaker 1: Oh yeah, yeah, that's what I like. Oh yeah yeah,
- 59:38Speaker 1: called him over to your house. Yeah, that's how you
- 59:41Speaker 1: stay at the trouble called. Call him over to your house.
- 59:44Speaker 1: Didn't take care of your business, and you ain't got
- 59:46Speaker 1: to worry about the police because they own your property.
- 59:49Speaker 1: That's what you got to do. That's what I just
- 59:52Speaker 1: ask you, since you, since Carla brought it up, what
- 59:54Speaker 1: what precipitated this lesson from your grandmother's story. Girls had
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: jumped my sister, and my grandmother got in the car
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: and drove around one by one for my sister could
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: get revenge. The last girl came over to the yard,
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: Grandma saying, let her in now. She let it in there,

- 1:01:54Speaker 1: not only that, if he doesn't supply him with some girls,

- 1:07:19Speaker 1: give us an update with your leukemia battle. You were
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: off a couple of days, you had a couple a
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: couple of rough days, A couple of days that's had
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: a rough day before yesterday. I had to go to
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: my clinic to get done. I was dehydrated because you know,
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: I was just dehydrated. And I go to the emergency
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: room and there's always one of us in there. There's
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: always one of us, and you know what I'm talking about?
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: Who just who just completely turns it out. Just you're sick,
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: you can't laugh. So I was. I wasn't feeling good,
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: and she completely but she got the care she needed.
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: She yelled out very loud I'm the sickest up in here. Okay,
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: I was sick everybody else though she was claiming it.
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: She claimed it, I'm the sikest I'm in here. Okay,
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: I'm sicking in her. I'm sicking in her one of me,
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: I'm sicking in him. But I've been here. I was not.
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: I wasn't feeling that. I couldn't hardly laugh. But she
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: They took her right in, I mean right in that.
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: They waited on her. Look, I've been here two hours.
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: I am the sikest person getting again. But you wanted
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: to laugh. But I wanted to laugh. But I wasn't
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: feeling good. But you know, they gave me what I needed.
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: I'm all right, I'm back to work. But it's always one,
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: It's always done. Man. How was he after she got treated? Jake,
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: we didn't see her no more. I don't know what
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: they did. They put a muggle on door. Yeah yeah,
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: but I'm feeling yeah, yeah, you got two more. You're
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: it's winding down now. It works is once a month
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: you get Keimo three to four days for the week,
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: and then you take three weeks off and then again, uh,
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: three to four days for the weeks. I got two
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: more treatments that we see wogether, and then I got
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: an MRI or MRI. I gotta take the MR and
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: see if the cancer is going down. So what I'm
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: feeling good. I'm feeling good. Wow, that's really good. But
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: I always want to shout out not not just the
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: people who are dealing with cancer, but the family members
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: who are dealing with people who have cancer. You know,
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: shout out in president too, because it is tough to
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: deal with people who have because we get kind of moody,
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: we get kind of in our way. We don't want
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: anybody to help us. We want to do it all
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: ourselves and we can't. But just bear with them. They
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: did going through some things, all right, and say it's
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: an emotional desig it is is yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah yeah,
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: all right, Jay, thank you so much for the good news.
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: We love it. Coming out at the top of the hour,
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: Trending Music News, Missy L. Elliot, MTV Vanguard Award, and
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: the Beatles fans feel disrespected by Drake. We'll talk about
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: that right after this. You're listening to all right, guys
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: and Trending Music News. Congratulations going out to Missy elliotte Yes,
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: she She's been chosen as this year's Michael Jackson Video
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: Vanguard Honoree, the first female rappers who ever, I said,
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: ever received this awards. So deserving, right, so deserving and
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: a better yet. Missy, who has won seven MTV VMAs,
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: will also perform at this year's event. Okay, all right,
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: Missy says, I am humbly grateful to be receiving the
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award. She tweeted that she says,
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: I think my fans, super friends who fought diligently to
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: see this day come. I am crying happy tears. Thank
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: you God. I love it. The twenty nineteen MTV VMA
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: Awards will air August twenty six. And another trending music
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: news what we told you on yesterday that Drake decided
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: to get a new tattoo to commemorate his surpassing the
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: Beatles record for the most Billboard Top ten hits. Drake
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: decided to celebrate by getting the iconic Abbey Road album
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: cover tattooed on his forearm. You know, the one with
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: all of them walking. Well, he decided to get that
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: tattoo on his arm with his own likeness. He's standing
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: in front of the Beatles and putting up his hand. Well,
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: I mean you know. Unsurprisingly, fans of the Beatles uh
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: fell disrespected, and some tweeted imagine thinking Drake is better
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: than the Beatles. Another one on, someone's going to beat
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: you at some point in life. Okay, love the Beatles. Yeah,
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: there were a lot of people don't know about the Beatles.
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: Is the Beatles though not a big fan of Ringo,
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: They really didn't care much for the Ringo drummer. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: ring one of the members. When you win, when you
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: win the room when they had to fight, that's that's
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: the name. You can't call Chris Cuomo Ringo. Well yeah,
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: Another fan tweeted, in fifty years, no one will be
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: listening to Drake. Uh come on, come on. Yeah, that's
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: some hate right there. Yeah, don't worry about yeah, yeah Drake.
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: Do you think Drake is going to be as influential
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: as the Beatles, at least as far as hip hop
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: is concerned. As far as hip hop is concerned, I
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: would h yeah, I would definitely say yeah, absolutely, yeah,
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: he's up there. He's a star, super Drake. That's just yeah,
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: hate a man, you know what I'm saying. There's there's
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: no movie about and Rake. Yeah though, Ja, Yeah, I know. No, Nah, Jay,
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: You're wrong on this. One drink is up there now.
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: So you know how many records he sold and he
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: started out as the actor. Yeah, he can ask blame.
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: Can I just say this? I have chemo, so take
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: it easier, so we can't disagree. We do everything for chemo.
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: One little event you made that one donation he won't access. Ja,
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: I will say this. I thought I went too far

- 1:13:46Speaker 1: you're coming to work today. Man, you coming to world.
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: You can never go too far. I thought I did,

- 1:14:00Speaker 1: I love you, Ja. Yeah, you know you know real
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: some people people get upset about the jokes. They don't
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: like the jokes, and well, we wouldn't do them if
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: we know, if you didn't have this cond of sense. Yeah,
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: yeah you would. Yeah, I know I would, and you
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: know Steve would, Oh my steak. Yeah that's real, that's
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: easy for me. The other day, Jay, I tried to

- 1:14:53Speaker 1: in twenty minutes after. Yeah, you're listening to Steve Harvey Show.
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: Rock and roll legend. Ozzy Osbourne is a medical marvel,
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: you know. I mean, given the amounts of drugs and
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: alcohol he's ingusted over the years, and it's been no
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: secret that he's done all of this. As it turns out,
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: the reason he's still with us is that he's actually
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: a mutant. I'm back. In twenty ten, researchers in Massachusetts
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: used a sample of Ozzie's blood to map out this
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: genetic code in an effort to out how he'd survive
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: that long. What they discovered is a never before seen
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: mutation and several genetic variations that predisposed him to drug
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: and alcohol dependencies. What Now. Indiana University School of Medicine
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: professor Bill Sullivan backs this up in his book Please
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: to Meet Me, Jeanes, Germs and the Curious Forces that
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: make Us who we are. He writes, Ozzy is indeed
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: a genetic mutant. Wow, who knew? What? Who knew? There
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: are a lot of people out there. You go if
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: they ain't caught nothing, ain't nothing not there. And then
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: us if we look at something, we're down for ten days. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: that's crazy because you think about yeah, high tolerance, high talk,
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: right off the bad. Yeah, his his shows were legendary.
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: Now what school did his research? Because my uncle could
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: go by. Then we got to find out why he's
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: the Indiana University school of me. All right, we'll have
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up and
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: some trending news at thirty three after the hour, right
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: after this. You're listening to show, all right, guys, let's
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: get after this, all right, and trending viral video news.
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: CNN is standing by its anchor Chris Cuomo, who got
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: into a very heated exchange with a heckler in a
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: video that went crazy viral. Okay, Cuomo, primetime host, was
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: attending an event with his nine year old daughter when
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: he was approached by a man who called him Fredo.
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: And you know who Fredo is, the godfather. He was weak,
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: he was the weak son. You disappointed me. Freedom. Uh
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: huh uh. Cuomo took it as an ethnic flur to
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: his Italian heritage and compared it to calling blacks the
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: N word. Uh. He then launched into that's yeah, that's
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: what he said. That's what he said. He then launched
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: into a profanity lace tirade. Take a listen to this,
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: Chris Cuomo fred he's from the Godfather, he was a
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: weak brother, and then the Italian aspersion. You Italian insult people,
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: insult people. It's like a N word for us. It's
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: not like it's not like a word been around him.
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: I'm with you, Como, I like you, okay, I love you,
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: but you ain't way over here though, No, you can't
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: come on this side that No, not in word been
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: around way longer. Yeah no, no, w but and we
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: need to get after it. But no, we came. You know,
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: I don't hear any word. Please, I ain't hear fraid
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: o please. But he's human though, we got to see
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: a whole another side of Chris Cuomo. Yeah, I bet
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: he felt bad because his little girl was there. Yeah
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: he did, he snapped. CNN though announced they are in
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: full support of Chris Cuomo and uh get a load
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: of this. President Trump has chimed in on the Chris
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: Cuomo video, tweeting I thought Chris was fraid o. Also,
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: he made it easy. He's making it easier. The truth
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: hurts totally lost it. Low ratings at CNN. Oh really, really,
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: mister president, This is all you have to do in
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: a day. I have coming up with some names that
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: we can call him that won't set him off. He
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: doesn't like Fredo, so we can't come. So here's some name.
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: All right, we can call him Scruncho, Harbo, Lobo, Rico,
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: christ Fablo, so Robo, Afro, Astro, Rio, say Bro, jim Bro, Toto,
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: that's so Tombo, Reno, Stevo, Tahoe, Speedo, and Ohio. But
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: don't ever Frado. I wish you would, I wish you would.
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: All Right, when we come back, it is our very
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: last break of the day, and we'll go around the
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: room and do Jay's back, so we'll do his segment
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: what have we learned today? That's coming up right after
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: this at forty nine minutes after the hour you're listening
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: Steve Show. All right, guys, here we are last break
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: of the day. It's been a good Wednesday, hump Day,
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: the weekend, Baby, we can say the weekend, Mike, Mike, Mike, Mike, Mike, Mike, Mike.
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: Yeah again, Jay, So happy you are back and feeling
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: good and all of that. You know, I love it,
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: love it, love it, Ya Underwood and earthquake home. And
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: then when they were when they hear nobody can tell
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: who's here because we all three look alike. Would you
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: stop that? What you're trying to say? Sight out of mind?
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: All right? Jay, So sence you're back, take it away.
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: Here's your segment. What if we love and everybody each
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: and every day when I'm here, we go around the
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: room and everybody tells what they learned today. So we
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: always start with Shirley Strawberry, Shirley Strawberry, what did you
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: learn today from the Steve Happy Morning Show. Okay, I
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: can't say nothing, but um okay, I'm gonna say this
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: because I really I feel strongly about this. I'm so
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: happy that that we're so blessed to have people like
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: Attorney Benjamin Crump around because he fights the good fight,
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: you know, for us and for people you know, and
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: for our people. He has requested we talked about this
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: earlier the release of a body camp of body camp
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: footage that recorded two mounted Galveston police officers who led
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: a handcuffed black man on foot with what appeared to
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: be a rope down the city streets. Many in the
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: city are outraged. But you know that's why I say
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: what we do without Attorney Benjamin Crump, because he's always there.
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: He's always in the trenches, you know, fighting the good
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: fight for us. So I just want to say thank you,
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: Attorney Benjamin Crump for all you do. And as always,
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: I'm sure we'll get to the bottom of this. The
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: man's name was mister Donald Neeley and this was just awful.
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: Attorney Crump is going to age of great marching Galveston
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: if the body camp footage is not released. So I
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: just want to say thank you, Attorney Benjamin Crop. Thank you.
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: Right today wolding me and my husband, we gotta level up.
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: See Wilson's they're just buying soccer teams, the Carters, Jay

- 1:22:38Speaker 1: doing it big like that make power moves. I love it.
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: I love it, love it, love it all right, Junior man,
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: I learned that we need to really figure out what

- 1:22:54Speaker 1: cannot hear this story, not one more day. I mean,

- 1:23:00Speaker 1: What is it that you won't there's a bunch of
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: head side here. I mean you want to really be safe,
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: and I mean really be safe about that. You don't
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: want to take a hit and catch thathing. Put a
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: condom heat on. Let's go ahead and get past this.
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: Let's just really move on. Don't don't do this no way.
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: Oh I learned. Well, what I've learned has nothing to
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: do with the show at all. I ain't learning thathing
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: on the show. I'm telling that right now. I was
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: focused on something else today. What were you focusing? I
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: learned the day that my kids went back to school
