- 2:04Speaker 1: You're listening to the voice, Come on dig me now
- 2:07Speaker 1: one it only Steve harvey Man got a radio show.
- 2:11Speaker 1: Real glad about it too, you know. Um, I hope
- 2:16Speaker 1: that God always keeps me in the frame of a a
- 2:20Speaker 1: frame of mind to try to be sharing and try
- 2:24Speaker 1: to be motivational and even when it's not felt or
- 2:30Speaker 1: wanted by some people. I have people around me who
- 2:35Speaker 1: seem to not benefited off anything, and I can sit
- 2:38Speaker 1: with them and talk to them or take meetings with
- 2:41Speaker 1: them to try to encourage them, and for whatever reason,
- 2:44Speaker 1: you know, they want to just keep going the way
- 2:45Speaker 1: they're going. When you run into people like that, you
- 2:49Speaker 1: have to pray for them. You have to just hope
- 2:50Speaker 1: that one day that they release the chains on their
- 2:54Speaker 1: mind and open up your mind to a new way
- 2:56Speaker 1: of thinking. A couple of things I wanted to go
- 2:59Speaker 1: over with it. I want you to all today in
- 3:01Speaker 1: terms of motivation. I want you to be aware of
- 3:06Speaker 1: statements or old sayings that have been created that you
- 3:11Speaker 1: hear over the course of time, and you may be
- 3:15Speaker 1: applying them to your life. And I want you to
- 3:18Speaker 1: be careful of some of them because some of these
- 3:20Speaker 1: old sayings, man, are not designed for people who are dreamers,
- 3:27Speaker 1: are not designed for people who have any aspirations of
- 3:32Speaker 1: being extraordinary. These are not designs or sayings that people
- 3:38Speaker 1: who want to be extremely successful at anything or have
- 3:42Speaker 1: high aspirations to put these sayings into your life. Let
- 3:47Speaker 1: me give you an example. Statistics say that's it. That's
- 3:55Speaker 1: the one who want you to be careful about statistics,
- 3:59Speaker 1: say be very careful of stats. When a person says,
- 4:05Speaker 1: you know statistics, say one out of every what see,
- 4:11Speaker 1: listen to me. These are things that sound like they're good,
- 4:14Speaker 1: sound solid advice, but they're setting you up for failure
- 4:19Speaker 1: and you can't adhere yourself to a lot of these
- 4:23Speaker 1: sayings that's been passed down from generations, and it's not scripture.
- 4:29Speaker 1: It ain't in the scripture nowhere that statistics say. It's
- 4:32Speaker 1: just some people and a lot of people who have
- 4:36Speaker 1: lost have come up with these sayings to justify why
- 4:41Speaker 1: they keep losing or why they lost. When I was
- 4:45Speaker 1: arst got started in the business, there were more stand
- 4:49Speaker 1: ups around now than it is today because the comedy
- 4:52Speaker 1: boom in eighty four eighty five was it was gaining
- 4:58Speaker 1: a lot of momentums, com clubs, comedy nights everywhere. The
- 5:02Speaker 1: statistic that a guy told me, I told him I
- 5:06Speaker 1: wanted to be on the Johnny Carson Show, the Tonight Show.
- 5:13Speaker 1: The guy said, one out of every two thousand comedians
- 5:19Speaker 1: ever make it to the Tonight Show. Okay, Now, when
- 5:27Speaker 1: he told us that, some of the comedians in the
- 5:30Speaker 1: room went, well, wow, man, oh that's rough. Because a
- 5:35Speaker 1: guy had also said that there was approximately six thousand
- 5:40Speaker 1: comedians in the country at that time. I don't know
- 5:42Speaker 1: if it was true. I'm just telling you guys out
- 5:44Speaker 1: the sputing numbers. I have no idea how many it was,
- 5:48Speaker 1: but he said one in every two thousand will make
- 5:51Speaker 1: it to the Tonight Show, and he let the air
- 5:53Speaker 1: out of everybody in the room. Button be so every
- 5:58Speaker 1: night before I went on stage, should do this right here.
- 6:01Speaker 1: Badam bad bada la la la da. Badampa ba la
- 6:08Speaker 1: la la da. That was the tonight theme song. I
- 6:12Speaker 1: was young, opening act nowhere near Hollywood, didn't. I was
- 6:16Speaker 1: in Cleveland telling jokes at one night us. But that
- 6:18Speaker 1: was my theme because I was bent and determined that
- 6:22Speaker 1: if it's one in two thousand, okay, why don't I
- 6:25Speaker 1: just be the one? Be careful when people say statistics
- 6:30Speaker 1: say because they are set up to ful failure. If
- 6:33Speaker 1: you're gonna adhere to him, see that one in so many?
- 6:36Speaker 1: It was wasn't so many people win the lottery. But
- 6:38Speaker 1: if you don't play the lottery, you ain't gonna be
- 6:39Speaker 1: the one to hit. Now when the dude hit you
- 6:41Speaker 1: go while he was lucky, but he played. Here's another one.
- 6:45Speaker 1: Maybe it's not meant to be. All right, let's go
- 6:50Speaker 1: one step further. I guess it wasn't the Lord's will.
- 6:55Speaker 1: Don't you dare blame God for something you may have
- 6:59Speaker 1: not done yourself because you didn't get the proper education,
- 7:04Speaker 1: because you didn't do the things you were supposed to
- 7:07Speaker 1: do because you didn't stay to the task, because you quit,
- 7:11Speaker 1: turned around and went the other way. Now, maybe it's
- 7:14Speaker 1: not It wasn't the lord's will. These are all statements
- 7:18Speaker 1: that sound like sound advice, but they ain't all the time,
- 7:23Speaker 1: got nothing to do with you. Stop letting these old
- 7:28Speaker 1: fogy sayings get in your way of what can happen
- 7:31Speaker 1: in your life. Don't put all your eggs in one basket? Wow,
- 7:39Speaker 1: who came up with this? Who came up with the
- 7:42Speaker 1: If you don't pour all your efforts into one thing,
- 7:46Speaker 1: how are you gonna be great at that one thing?
- 7:50Speaker 1: If Kobe Bryant, Michael Jordan's Magic Johnson Larry Bird had
- 7:55Speaker 1: not played basketball sun up to sundown, Magic Johnson didn't
- 7:59Speaker 1: go to Michigan to get an education. Land Burry didn't
- 8:04Speaker 1: go to Indiana to get an education. These casts was bawling.
- 8:08Speaker 1: Michael Jordan didn't go to North Carolina get an education.
- 8:12Speaker 1: They went to play ball. They went to do one thing.
- 8:16Speaker 1: Tiger Woods didn't go to Stanford to get an education.
- 8:20Speaker 1: He went to play golf. As soon as he got
- 8:22Speaker 1: good enough, he'd gone. These are guys that put all
- 8:26Speaker 1: their eggs in one basket. See what's cool with putting
- 8:31Speaker 1: all your eggs in one basket is you now can
- 8:33Speaker 1: maximize your effort and laser beam what you're doing. Your
- 8:38Speaker 1: problem is all you gotta do is make sure what
- 8:41Speaker 1: is your basket made out of. If your basket is
- 8:46Speaker 1: made out of faith, hope, hard work, and belief, then
- 8:51Speaker 1: guess what, that's a good basket. I'm dumping all mine
- 8:54Speaker 1: in it because ever since I was a young dude,
- 8:57Speaker 1: I've been telling jokes, one thing, one thing only. Even
- 9:00Speaker 1: when it got ugly and I was living in a car,
- 9:02Speaker 1: I never quit telling them jokes. Man. I just kept
- 9:05Speaker 1: believing that them jokes was gonna pay me one day,
- 9:08Speaker 1: and I'll be dog gone if it didn't. I ain't
- 9:11Speaker 1: take no time off. Go work at Walmart, give me
- 9:13Speaker 1: a job, go back to Forward and beg for my
- 9:16Speaker 1: job back. Hey man, put all your eggs in a basket.
- 9:20Speaker 1: Just make sure that your basket is made up of faith, hope, belief,
- 9:24Speaker 1: hard work. Your basket woven by God what you're tripping for.
- 9:30Speaker 1: And then here's another one. Let me throw this one
- 9:32Speaker 1: that you always have a plan B. That's another loser statement.
- 9:37Speaker 1: Why do you have a plan B? Listen to me.
- 9:39Speaker 1: In order to have a plan B, you have to
- 9:42Speaker 1: stop working on plan A to formulate plan B. In
- 9:46Speaker 1: order to have plan B to fall back on. You
- 9:48Speaker 1: now have to stop your time working on plan A
- 9:51Speaker 1: to apply some effort to have a plan B. So
- 9:53Speaker 1: in case plan A don't work, you can fall back
- 9:56Speaker 1: on plan B. Really, who told you that? People ask
- 10:01Speaker 1: me all the time with Steve, I don't make no sense.
- 10:03Speaker 1: You ain't got no plan B. Supposed plan A don't work,
- 10:06Speaker 1: then I just go get another Plan A. I'm gonna
- 10:11Speaker 1: put all my eggs in the basket. If you have
- 10:14Speaker 1: plan B, you are planning on Plan A not working. Man,
- 10:22Speaker 1: you're defeating yourself. Where is your faith? Where is your belief?
- 10:27Speaker 1: Where is your trust? At one point in time, you
- 10:30Speaker 1: got to belie that God could do what he say
- 10:32Speaker 1: gonna do. Because he didn't done it for others, he'll
- 10:34Speaker 1: most certainly do it for you. Be careful of these
- 10:37Speaker 1: sayings that's out here, that's aligned by losers and people
- 10:41Speaker 1: to justify why they are not succeeded. Don't apply this
- 10:44Speaker 1: stuff to your life, and it ain't got nothing to
- 10:46Speaker 1: do with you. You're gonna mess yourself up. Get your
- 10:49Speaker 1: Plan A. Make it work if it don't ever come
- 10:52Speaker 1: to pass and get another plan A. All right, okay,
- 10:56Speaker 1: you're listening to show ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls
- 11:04Speaker 1: might have the undivided attention. Please. Today is a great day.
- 11:09Speaker 1: First of all, Today is today that the Lord has made.
- 11:12Speaker 1: Let us rejoice and be glad in it. And boy
- 11:16Speaker 1: has he put something in it to be grateful? First
- 11:19Speaker 1: of all, waking up today, that was pretty good. I
- 11:24Speaker 1: don't can number basketball playoffs right now. I don't too early,
- 11:31Speaker 1: too early, clevemane Lebron deal what I told him? Not do?
- 11:37Speaker 1: So cool? What that lead Tiger Woods, baby Tiger, that
- 11:45Speaker 1: Blake and Blake Woods and bright Yeah, good mortar shape,
- 11:51Speaker 1: good money, your grace call it the gold Taker was
- 11:55Speaker 1: what's up? Steve Junior? Right of all, if you want
- 11:58Speaker 1: to Tommy in the building with a green jacket on
- 12:06Speaker 1: Grand the comeback kid man tiging thro I'm like, I
- 12:17Speaker 1: mean you a game of Thrones, don't compare. It does
- 12:23Speaker 1: not compare ship Man to this boy with this golf
- 12:28Speaker 1: a major. Now you know he won over the ess.
- 12:32Speaker 1: He's won tournaments, but they had wrote him off. He'll
- 12:36Speaker 1: never meant another major. That the Masters is a major
- 12:40Speaker 1: event he wanted that passed him past Arnold Palmer, I
- 12:46Speaker 1: think it was, and he's going for Jack Nikolas got
- 12:50Speaker 1: five of them, five green every every week the boy
- 12:58Speaker 1: go back. You have a new jacket on. Go ahead, man, great.
- 13:03Speaker 1: And here's a couple of things that stood out for me.
- 13:06Speaker 1: They kept saying Tiger Woods has never been down in
- 13:10Speaker 1: the major on Sunday. And come back to when it
- 13:12Speaker 1: They said that before he ted off, they said that Boone,
- 13:15Speaker 1: he hit them back to back bogies in the first
- 13:19Speaker 1: first front nine. I wasn't ten anymore. It wasn't it
- 13:25Speaker 1: in the first in the first nine. So did you watch, Steve?
- 13:29Speaker 1: A rhetorical question, did I watch? My whole day was
- 13:34Speaker 1: dedicated to two things yesterday golf and Bobby Q with
- 13:44Speaker 1: a cigar. I had a great off day yesterday on
- 13:48Speaker 1: the had one today. I'm back at work, so I
- 13:50Speaker 1: only had one that was Sunday. I didn't call who, man,
- 13:57Speaker 1: Can I tell y'all? Junior called me when man, when
- 14:00Speaker 1: we come back, wait a minute, hold of y'all? Wait, Oh,
- 14:04Speaker 1: I forgot to tell y'all this. When we come back
- 14:06Speaker 1: on this break, I'm gonna tell you what Junior did
- 14:10Speaker 1: to me? What night was that Friday? Man? Wait, I
- 14:13Speaker 1: tell y'all what did food did Friday night? It must
- 14:21Speaker 1: be good? Sure, I'm real good. Sure something I don't do.
- 14:27Speaker 1: All you here gone? You must have gone to the
- 14:30Speaker 1: club or something. Steve, all right, we'll be back at
- 14:33Speaker 1: thirty two. After the hour. We're gonna find out what
- 14:35Speaker 1: happened between Steve and Junior. Coming up, we gotta talk
- 14:39Speaker 1: about game and thrown still when we come back right
- 14:41Speaker 1: after this. You're listening to the show, Happy Monday, Happy Monday.
- 14:49Speaker 1: When we last left off, Steve, you were saying, wait
- 14:53Speaker 1: till you tell us what Junior did on Friday? What
- 14:55Speaker 1: happened between you and Junior? He don't like me this
- 15:01Speaker 1: food here, Shirley. Yes, I'm a grown man. Yes, it's
- 15:08Speaker 1: things I don't do. Small talk is one of them. Okay,
- 15:13Speaker 1: all right. I don't enjoy it. I don't like it.
- 15:18Speaker 1: It serves no purpose, and especially when it's coming from
- 15:24Speaker 1: a dude. Now, if my wife, if it's my wife
- 15:30Speaker 1: and she's small talking, I gotta sit there and listen.
- 15:33Speaker 1: Junior and I killed you, not Shirley, Carla, Tommy, listen
- 15:40Speaker 1: to me. This food called me back to back to
- 15:46Speaker 1: back fifteen times? What, Junior? It wasn't fifteen? How many
- 15:54Speaker 1: times was it? Junior? That's a lot. It was more
- 15:58Speaker 1: than seven, almost, But I mean back to back to
- 16:02Speaker 1: back to back to back, just phocals. So I'm thinking
- 16:05Speaker 1: he butt dilling me, right, uh huh? Because I said,
- 16:08Speaker 1: what's wrong with this food? So I picks up the phone.
- 16:13Speaker 1: I said, Junior, hang your phone up your butt? Hey man,
- 16:18Speaker 1: what took you so long? That is? I said, Junior,
- 16:22Speaker 1: you've been calling me all the time. Yeah, uh, you
- 16:26Speaker 1: ain't seeing ring it? Yeah? Yeah, yeah ring. But if
- 16:32Speaker 1: Friday night, you know what, Junior, I had to go
- 16:36Speaker 1: to work tomorrow Saturday? Junior off. But you know what
- 16:42Speaker 1: he said? He liked regular stuff. But I'm trying to
- 16:45Speaker 1: treat him like a regular friend. But what what happened?
- 16:48Speaker 1: I mean, what was he calling you for? What you
- 16:50Speaker 1: want to ask ask? What did you? What are you
- 16:53Speaker 1: calling him? No? No? No, watch this go ahead? What
- 16:58Speaker 1: did he say? Nothing? Though? It was not a blowing
- 17:01Speaker 1: him up seven eight times? First he sent me the voicemail.
- 17:05Speaker 1: We don't seen me the voicemail? Oh you saw? I
- 17:07Speaker 1: called back? What I want about to do? He said?
- 17:12Speaker 1: He want to be regular. I am trying to treat
- 17:14Speaker 1: like a regular friend. Hey, I just want to say, hey,
- 17:17Speaker 1: how are you doing tonight? What you doing? I don't
- 17:20Speaker 1: know what? You're checking on him? Yeah? No, I was
- 17:22Speaker 1: surely I don't need checking on. Yeah, you know, he
- 17:25Speaker 1: tells me. I'm on the phone with my girl. Out
- 17:29Speaker 1: what she says? Hey, donk to him? Are you talking about?
- 17:34Speaker 1: I'm talking to my wife? What sh out the country?
- 17:37Speaker 1: This fool standic calling me? How's that mergery doing? What's
- 17:41Speaker 1: she talking about? Where she asked? What she had? No, Junior,
- 17:49Speaker 1: what you mean where she asked? Don't wear about what
- 17:51Speaker 1: she had? What you want? I called him? Man, check
- 17:54Speaker 1: on you. I don't need checking on. Wow, I'm growing
- 17:58Speaker 1: as miss. You ain't got check cald me. I ain't
- 18:00Speaker 1: sick or not. I ain't like you. Y'all got mad?
- 18:06Speaker 1: Junior ain't sick. I ain't like you. You didn't back well,
- 18:11Speaker 1: you know you're calling me. You want a small talk.
- 18:14Speaker 1: I'm gonna try to hurt you. I like you. Okay,
- 18:20Speaker 1: So did you hang up when he said I was something?
- 18:22Speaker 1: I'm on the phone with my wife questions how she doing?
- 18:26Speaker 1: What's been you? And you called back and said, what
- 18:31Speaker 1: he said, you called seventh the first sixteen is? Oh
- 18:37Speaker 1: so the seventh? What it was more than that? You
- 18:41Speaker 1: know how your phone rang and it stopping, it rang
- 18:43Speaker 1: right back in case you didn't here. Okay, so that one.
- 18:47Speaker 1: So I said, okay, I'm missing concerned a pocket dialar
- 18:52Speaker 1: butt dial though when it goes back to over and over. Yeah,
- 18:56Speaker 1: But then you know what I thought, could I be
- 18:58Speaker 1: real with y'all? Yeah? I thought maybe Junior, you know,
- 19:03Speaker 1: was out, you know, had a little couple of SIPs,
- 19:08Speaker 1: you know, and just wanted to talk. And I don't.
- 19:10Speaker 1: I don't like talk people when they had Oh yeah, no,
- 19:14Speaker 1: I have a girlfriend like that. He said, Hey, man,
- 19:17Speaker 1: I'm just gonna be a ready dude. I'm trying to
- 19:18Speaker 1: treat you like a red regular. Yeah that's what you
- 19:21Speaker 1: would do to No. Surely he heard me say that
- 19:25Speaker 1: earlier in the day. Yeah, I said, I missed sometimes
- 19:28Speaker 1: just being regular. Man. Well he thought talking small talk
- 19:34Speaker 1: was regular. That ain't. I don't want to be that red.
- 19:37Speaker 1: He was like, let me fix it. Yeah, so he
- 19:40Speaker 1: gonna fix it that night. So he called me repeatly,
- 19:43Speaker 1: back to back to back to back to back, and
- 19:45Speaker 1: I got to the point where I was going, Man,
- 19:47Speaker 1: folk keep calling me like this. I'm not picking up
- 19:51Speaker 1: trying to chill. I was trying to get at it. Man,
- 19:54Speaker 1: I was just number. You don't know anytime. He can't
- 20:00Speaker 1: block Junior man because what if Junior gets sick though,
- 20:04Speaker 1: I mean, if Junior gets sick, the last person to call.
- 20:10Speaker 1: But my thing is this, But he what he like
- 20:13Speaker 1: to hell, oh, regular conversation with I thought that what
- 20:17Speaker 1: he wanted. You know, I who invite him over my plate?
- 20:20Speaker 1: Let's do some reckless stuff. He ain't coming back. You
- 20:25Speaker 1: can invite him to your house. What's wrong with that?
- 20:27Speaker 1: I got nice? Ain't Yeah, he had really nice call.
- 20:33Speaker 1: Let's stop on this here. Well, you're not going. I
- 20:36Speaker 1: can't go to the party. Imagine, I can't run the
- 20:43Speaker 1: risk nobody coming out. They don't go on. Nah, Steve,
- 20:51Speaker 1: you get buzzed in at the gate the SEC. That's
- 20:53Speaker 1: what I wanted. Now, you can't get much more recklar
- 20:58Speaker 1: that's regular, and he won't it. Be careful what you
- 21:01Speaker 1: asked for. Then you get buzzed in at the gate.
- 21:04Speaker 1: You real regular? Yeah, you get buzzed in. His wife
- 21:08Speaker 1: out of town. He ain't got nothing. Outbody, Hey with
- 21:11Speaker 1: ump this Friday. Ight, it's nine. Come on, yeah, I
- 21:14Speaker 1: would think you're taking good intentions. Junior. I like hanging
- 21:19Speaker 1: by myself because I'm around people all day. So when
- 21:23Speaker 1: I get some time, I like me. You're okay with me?
- 21:29Speaker 1: Call me? No moment? No small? What you doing? What
- 21:31Speaker 1: I'm doing? You mean what I'm doing? I'm resting? No,

- 23:33Speaker 1: do have complaints. Now. As you know, pastor were excited
- 23:38Speaker 1: to be approaching resurrection Sunday. The congregation is asking amen,
- 23:44Speaker 1: the congregation is asking that we're not the not so
- 23:48Speaker 1: smart kids not recite they Easter speech on Sunday. They're
- 23:53Speaker 1: at least fifteen of them that we that I that
- 23:55Speaker 1: are we concerned about? But of course sister was that
- 24:00Speaker 1: La Donna Davis wants DeAndre to do his as you
- 24:04Speaker 1: know he's fifteen and fIF still in the fourth grade,
- 24:07Speaker 1: but she definitely wants him to do his speak. Well,
- 24:10Speaker 1: we're going to how many is it, Deacon? If fifteen
- 24:16Speaker 1: we were about, we're going to accept five of deal
- 24:20Speaker 1: this Sun, five of the Nazi smart ones, Mays, because
- 24:24Speaker 1: we can't sit through fifteen. Tell Sister LaDonna the last ship.
- 24:31Speaker 1: It was die polo cololess o word dial polloculosis. Oh
- 24:38Speaker 1: everyone tell dial like dial like you and don need
- 24:48Speaker 1: do pollo poly mean five di po wow dial pollock.
- 24:58Speaker 1: Do you remember what you forgot? You forgot the apologists, dipolitologist,
- 25:04Speaker 1: dia politologists, diatologists, photologists the form of a doctor that
- 25:11Speaker 1: them five bars is and died need a medical assistance diapolodologists.
- 25:17Speaker 1: You changed it to go with what I knew. Big
- 25:24Speaker 1: word Monday gonna be hard on me. Go ahead, all right,
- 25:29Speaker 1: I don't think that. I don't think any more responses
- 25:32Speaker 1: will be with big words because comedy. To go ahead.
- 25:38Speaker 1: The Eastern egg Hunt Committee has a major problem. As
- 25:42Speaker 1: you know, brother Thaddeus Radcliffe, who worked at the veterinary clinic,
- 25:46Speaker 1: browed eggs from his job and they are now mixed
- 25:50Speaker 1: up with the regular eggs. So he brought snake eggs,
- 25:53Speaker 1: alligator eggs, I speak eggs, and supposed to be fifteen
- 25:57Speaker 1: penguin eggs. How do you want to handle it? Well,
- 26:01Speaker 1: I say go ahead and let them. Don't say nothing
- 26:04Speaker 1: to the kids. But I'll tell you what though you
- 26:08Speaker 1: can't a mags and you don't eat them all to
- 26:11Speaker 1: day being surprised for you. Somewhere in the week, you're
- 26:18Speaker 1: gonna look up and be Aguada walking around your house.
- 26:22Speaker 1: You ain't gonna like it him. So uh, you know,
- 26:26Speaker 1: I don't know whether what you can't do it till
- 26:28Speaker 1: the black people that could be a potential lizard in
- 26:30Speaker 1: the house or snake that you can't do it. So
- 26:34Speaker 1: just let it. Let let let sleeping dogs lie, deacon,
- 26:38Speaker 1: and we'll deal with it as it comes. Get all,
- 26:43Speaker 1: get a pet a pet retrieval service number ready, you
- 26:48Speaker 1: know how you call like the people that handle snakes
- 26:50Speaker 1: and everything that ain't gonna bother it's a snake. They're
- 26:56Speaker 1: gonna get loosing black that's what you need doing. But
- 26:59Speaker 1: that peck wood and people ain't got no speed and
- 27:01Speaker 1: can't hide the good. Yeah, don't worry about the snake,
- 27:08Speaker 1: can't get snaking lizard in the black people house. Might
- 27:11Speaker 1: will might will have a bank robber with a gun
- 27:13Speaker 1: sitting in the past. Yeah, alright, moving along past. We
- 27:22Speaker 1: have a big issue with Big Red cos we agreed
- 27:27Speaker 1: that he would play Christ in the church play, but
- 27:30Speaker 1: the cross keep breaking due to his weight. He can't
- 27:33Speaker 1: we can't keep him on the cross path to e
- 27:35Speaker 1: and how defaust say they don't have any wood that
- 27:37Speaker 1: can hold it? What did you want to deal? Just
- 27:41Speaker 1: let everybody walk up to the front and look down
- 27:44Speaker 1: on him and do their lines from there. Yeah, because
- 27:48Speaker 1: he ain't Christ nowhere, we ain't fit to look up
- 27:50Speaker 1: to it. Look, it ain't high looking, It ain't who
- 27:56Speaker 1: who won't about down in front of big, big a
- 27:58Speaker 1: redel Now, if he gonna be the Christ, then you
- 28:05Speaker 1: know we're gonna do. We're gonna do it all. I'll
- 28:08Speaker 1: tell you what we'll do. We're gonna do uh, carry
- 28:13Speaker 1: on the resurrection scene after we're gonna just do add
- 28:19Speaker 1: on them and then take Dale off the cross down there,
- 28:23Speaker 1: get him out there. Yeah, just did you do it
- 28:25Speaker 1: like that? Because he he who? He don't look a
- 28:28Speaker 1: like who I think he is? All right, I'm sorry
- 28:36Speaker 1: right on that. Well, I'm just saying Red ain't fit
- 28:39Speaker 1: to play here. We all don't like people playing the role.
- 28:43Speaker 1: Yeah that is. But you're the one came in here
- 28:50Speaker 1: went to complaint. I'm just trying to work it. I'm
- 28:54Speaker 1: get ready for this next one. Passed that go ahead,
- 28:57Speaker 1: Special guests doing the Eastern Service for my understanding. Justice
- 29:01Speaker 1: smiling and R. Kelly would be singing that you at
- 29:04Speaker 1: this Eastern Sanding, they say the spirit has moved them
- 29:08Speaker 1: to sing we fall down, but we we but and
- 29:13Speaker 1: I know not to comment on that one. Next, that's
- 29:17Speaker 1: not only a church complaint, that's a church closed, right,
- 29:23Speaker 1: So Motown is gonna retract from that, and lip let
- 29:27Speaker 1: the ignorance of death jail stand on his own. All right,
- 29:34Speaker 1: we're more brutiful, brutiful you all right, listen coming out
- 29:50Speaker 1: at the top of the hour Entertainment News, right after
- 29:54Speaker 1: the Jeez you're listening to morning show. In today's entertainment news,

- 31:18Speaker 1: In other entertainment news Weekend, Coachella Festival kicked off this
- 31:22Speaker 1: past Friday. Donald Glover we know him as Childish Gambino.
- 31:26Speaker 1: He told Coachella attendees to put your phones down because
- 31:30Speaker 1: he was trying to give them something special. Uh. He
- 31:33Speaker 1: also paid tribute to Nipsey Hustle. Other performers included Janelle
- 31:37Speaker 1: Monet and interest Elba. You know he was the DJ, right,
- 31:41Speaker 1: DJ big Driss Uh that's his name, DJA Big Dress

- 32:33Speaker 1: Beyonce yep weekend, h weekend? Uh huh yeah yeah, have
- 32:42Speaker 1: you ever been Steve no Ye another I've never heard
- 32:45Speaker 1: of I mean I've been hearing about it for years,
- 32:48Speaker 1: but no, I mean I never had heard of it.
- 32:51Speaker 1: In two last year, I've never been. I just want
- 32:54Speaker 1: to see what it's all about. Yeah yeah. It's just
- 32:58Speaker 1: out in big open yeah field and just yeah, like
- 33:02Speaker 1: a desert time of situation. Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 33:06Speaker 1: I guess that the year ago was last year? Huh huh?
- 33:10Speaker 1: I mean this year too, because Ariana Grande is hot.
- 33:13Speaker 1: She's so hot, she's trademarking, thank you next. Yeah, really, yeah,
- 33:18Speaker 1: really yeah. She loved grand and that's one of her songs,
- 33:24Speaker 1: so you know, she's trademarking it. She's going to come
- 33:26Speaker 1: out with I guess a lot of gear and stuff.
- 33:28Speaker 1: We're that on there, thank you, next, thank you? What
- 33:31Speaker 1: does that mean? She was singing about her boyfriend? Oh,
- 33:35Speaker 1: thank you next next? Yeah, wow, we pass you Okay,
- 33:40Speaker 1: I guess all that kind of stuff. Yeah, she's cute. Yeah,
- 33:45Speaker 1: she is really cute. She's such a cute girl. All right, Steve,
- 33:49Speaker 1: Time for the headlines, ladies and gentlemen, Miss Anne Tripp,
- 33:54Speaker 1: Thank you very much, everybody, and here we are. This
- 33:56Speaker 1: is and Troop with the news on this Monday morning.
- 33:58Speaker 1: American Airline says is extending the grounding of its fleet
- 34:01Speaker 1: of Boeing seven thirty seven Max Jets through the middle
- 34:04Speaker 1: of August. At least about one hundred fifteen flights a
- 34:07Speaker 1: day going to be canceled through August nineteenth. Southwest Airlines,
- 34:10Speaker 1: which operates the largest fleet of Max Jets by the way,
- 34:13Speaker 1: says it'll extend the grounding of its planes until August fifth. Boeing, meanwhile,
- 34:18Speaker 1: says it's still working on a software fix for the
- 34:20Speaker 1: grounded planes after two deadly crashes took place within the
- 34:23Speaker 1: last six months. There's yet another Democratic hat in the
- 34:27Speaker 1: upcoming presidential stakes. Over the weekend, South Bend, Indiana's mayor
- 34:30Speaker 1: made it official. My name is. They called me Mayy Pete.
- 34:38Speaker 1: I'm a proud son of South Bend, Indiana, and i
- 34:41Speaker 1: am running for president of the United States. And they say,
- 34:45Speaker 1: thirty seven year old announces platform of freedom, security and democracy.
- 34:48Speaker 1: By the way, if elected, Buddha Judge would be the
- 34:50Speaker 1: youngest and first openly gay presidential president of the United States.
- 34:55Speaker 1: By the way, get this. A Republican lawmaker in Illinois
- 34:58Speaker 1: wants to see the city Chicago separated from the rest
- 35:00Speaker 1: of the state as its own state. CD Davis Meyers
- 35:03Speaker 1: said he wants to make the third largest city in
- 35:05Speaker 1: Illinois separate state because of the huge influence he says
- 35:08Speaker 1: Shytown has in state politics. Davis Meyers says he's frustrated
- 35:13Speaker 1: with what he sees as city focused policies that can
- 35:16Speaker 1: steer economic opportunity away from rural areas. Nevertheless, the measure
- 35:20Speaker 1: of seen as having absolutely no chance of passaging the
- 35:22Speaker 1: Democratic control legislative. Okay, Today's tax day in case you're
- 35:25Speaker 1: feeling to pinch, either because of the tax money you've
- 35:28Speaker 1: had to send to Uncle Sam or because of the
- 35:30Speaker 1: money you're used to getting back that you're not getting
- 35:32Speaker 1: back this year. Think about this. According to Yahoo, looks
- 35:35Speaker 1: like the new Republican backed to tax structure very very
- 35:38Speaker 1: kind to big business, imposing the lowest corporate tax rate
- 35:41Speaker 1: since nineteen forty seven. For instance, they say Amazon, which
- 35:46Speaker 1: made an estimate eleven billion dollars with a B last year,
- 35:49Speaker 1: pay zero in taxes, and that things are basically the
- 35:52Speaker 1: same for other huge corporations like Delta Airlines and Chevron
- 35:55Speaker 1: and Netflix and General Motors. Aren't you happy anyway? A
- 36:01Speaker 1: Researchers say that smiling a lot could be a bad
- 36:03Speaker 1: for your health. Here's why. Researchers depends stay say, after
- 36:06Speaker 1: studying drinking habits of people who work with the public
- 36:08Speaker 1: a lot and find that those are regularly expected to
- 36:10Speaker 1: fake or amplify their positive emotions, in other words, laughing,
- 36:13Speaker 1: smile a lot, engage in heavier drinking after work than
- 36:17Speaker 1: people who didn't have to provide so cool service with
- 36:19Speaker 1: a smile. Oh well, Tiger Wood smiling he won his
- 36:22Speaker 1: fifth Master's golf tourney over the weekend, holding off the
- 36:25Speaker 1: rest of the best golfers in the world to make
- 36:28Speaker 1: a one shot win. It's Tiger's fifteenth tournament win overall,
- 36:33Speaker 1: and it marks a real comeback for Woods from career
- 36:36Speaker 1: threatening back problems. He said he just couldn't even move.
- 36:39Speaker 1: It was so bad for him at one point. And
- 36:41Speaker 1: finally tops to the box office for the second week
- 36:43Speaker 1: in a row, Shazam and my powers throw through. You say, okay,
- 36:53Speaker 1: say it had brought another twenty five meal. Now back
- 36:55Speaker 1: to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening, right, Steve,
- 37:01Speaker 1: Let's talk again about the goat the greatest of all times,
- 37:04Speaker 1: Tiger Woods. He won the Masters yesterday, was down two
- 37:10Speaker 1: thousand and five the Masters. Yet the majority of people
- 37:18Speaker 1: haven't won in any yea Masters or any other maner. No, no,
- 37:24Speaker 1: this dude is really really the greatest golfer of all times. Now,
- 37:29Speaker 1: you know, they saying Jack Nicholas because he won eighteen Majors,
- 37:33Speaker 1: and you got to get a man his dude. But
- 37:36Speaker 1: golf was different back then. It was a different equipment,
- 37:40Speaker 1: which made Jack Nicholas a great golfer also, but also
- 37:44Speaker 1: it was a different competition all these dudes can play golf, man.
- 37:50Speaker 1: All these boys can golf man. And Tiger came along
- 37:54Speaker 1: and started playing at a level that they had not
- 37:56Speaker 1: seen before. Tiger been doing shots, man and doing stuff.
- 38:00Speaker 1: You know, man, because they change golf courses, golf courses
- 38:03Speaker 1: are more difficult now. All right, well, take a listen
- 38:05Speaker 1: to this. Take a listen. But here it is the
- 38:12Speaker 1: return to glory. Wow. Wow, it's still not a golfer
- 38:30Speaker 1: in the history of golf that has moved the sport
- 38:34Speaker 1: the way he has. The crowds that come to see
- 38:38Speaker 1: this man, it's unlike anything ever before. Jack Nicholas an
- 38:43Speaker 1: O Palmer included. He introduced so many people of color
- 38:48Speaker 1: to the game of golf. Golf has color in it.
- 38:51Speaker 1: Not because of Tiger Woods. Tiger Woods exist because of
- 38:56Speaker 1: Lee Elder, because of Calvin Pete, because of Thorpe, Jim Thorpe,
- 39:01Speaker 1: you know, because of two great brothers. But these guys
- 39:09Speaker 1: that he stood on the shoulders of to become who
- 39:11Speaker 1: he is, because they were playing when they wouldn't even
- 39:14Speaker 1: let him stay in hotels around Augusta, when they wouldn't
- 39:19Speaker 1: even let black people play at Augusta. There's a there's
- 39:23Speaker 1: a golf course in Bermuda. What Tiger was refused to
- 39:26Speaker 1: be allowed to play in Bermuda? Yeah, and he puts
- 39:31Speaker 1: so many people of color into the game of golf.
- 39:36Speaker 1: I would have never bought no clubs if it wasn't
- 39:39Speaker 1: for Tiger Woods twenty two years ago. Wow. All right, well,
- 39:43Speaker 1: congratulations once again to Tiger Woods. Coming up next to
- 39:46Speaker 1: thirty four after the hour. Today is tax Day, guys
- 39:49Speaker 1: and white What Yeah, White House Press secretary that Congress
- 39:54Speaker 1: is not smart enough to look at mister Trump's tax returns.
- 39:56Speaker 1: All right, we're coming back right after this. You're listening
- 40:00Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. Today's tax Day, and before we
- 40:04Speaker 1: get to Steve's number one tax tip, take a listen
- 40:07Speaker 1: to White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders when she told
- 40:10Speaker 1: Fox News that this Congress is not smart enough to
- 40:14Speaker 1: look through President Trump's tax records. Wow, this is all
- 40:17Speaker 1: about political partisanship. This is a dangerous, dangerous road. And frankly, Chris,
- 40:22Speaker 1: I don't think Congress, particularly not this group of congressmen
- 40:26Speaker 1: and women are smart enough to look through the thousands
- 40:29Speaker 1: of pages that I would assume that President Trump's taxes
- 40:33Speaker 1: will be. My guess is most of them don't do
- 40:35Speaker 1: their own taxes, and I certainly don't trust them to
- 40:38Speaker 1: look through the decades of success that the president has
- 40:41Speaker 1: and determine anything. He's filled out hundreds of pages in
- 40:44Speaker 1: a financial disclosure form. Have you fogged your taxes yet?
- 40:47Speaker 1: I'm almost finished in the process. Couple days. I'm asking
- 40:52Speaker 1: for a next junsion. Okay, Sarah, thank you for what
- 40:56Speaker 1: her boss says? A file? Why she Oh no, no, no, no, no, no, no,
- 41:00Speaker 1: no no, no, y'all do under stay. He didn't file, well,
- 41:05Speaker 1: not to file, you know what I mean. He's filed,
- 41:08Speaker 1: but won't show him. He's not going to show them. Yeah,
- 41:13Speaker 1: you're not going. You can subpoena them, and they're not gonna.
- 41:16Speaker 1: It's not that you're not smart enough. It's that you
- 41:19Speaker 1: won't believe what he's done to pay, the amount of
- 41:24Speaker 1: taxes that he's paid to which he has paid based
- 41:28Speaker 1: on the amount of money he's earned. It's just gonna
- 41:31Speaker 1: be mind boggling. They cannot let you see that. And
- 41:34Speaker 1: he ain't still getting ordered it. Yeah, she really really did,
- 41:40Speaker 1: especially the fresh crop of men and women. Yeah talking
- 41:45Speaker 1: about Yeah, Yeah, she sounds a little more aggressive now too,
- 41:49Speaker 1: after that Mulla report came. Oh they're gonna get out
- 41:51Speaker 1: of now. I want you to understand something. She better
- 41:54Speaker 1: have her stuff together, because I can promise you what
- 42:01Speaker 1: they're gonna be saying that. Okay, we okay, we can't
- 42:03Speaker 1: figure out here. Well, let's look at your we'll see.
- 42:07Speaker 1: The House Democrats have given the Trump administration a hard
- 42:10Speaker 1: deadline of April twenty three to turn over the president's
- 42:13Speaker 1: tax returns now. According to the White House Ways and
- 42:16Speaker 1: Means Committee the House Ways and Means Committee, under a
- 42:20Speaker 1: tax code, the committee chairperson can ask the I R
- 42:24Speaker 1: S for any taxpayers returns, and the Treasury Department shall
- 42:28Speaker 1: furnish them. Well, let's gonna be interesting. Yeah it will.
- 42:33Speaker 1: But now what are we gonna do because you can't
- 42:36Speaker 1: indict a sitting president and he's probably done nothing illegal.
- 42:42Speaker 1: He's just used some loopholes. Y'all ain't gonna believe. I
- 42:45Speaker 1: ain't gonna believe it either. Let me just put myself
- 42:47Speaker 1: in that group tooth because the taxes I'm paying help
- 42:51Speaker 1: me Jesus. Well, Father God, Since it is tax Day,
- 42:57Speaker 1: the last day to file your taxes or to file
- 42:59Speaker 1: for an extension, what is your tax tip for us

- 43:22Speaker 1: ask you nothing. They can garnashe your wages, or they
- 43:27Speaker 1: put the freeze on your account. And I got news
- 43:30Speaker 1: for you. When they put the frieze on the account
- 43:32Speaker 1: and you get scared and you cam the money down.
- 43:35Speaker 1: Now it's stay frozen for six more weeks. Oh, they
- 43:40Speaker 1: don't unfreezing today. You pay the money. Listen to me.
- 43:45Speaker 1: Oh no, no, no, they take stay damn time. They
- 43:49Speaker 1: punish you. Wow, man, don't don't hey, listen to me, y'all.
- 43:55Speaker 1: Don't don't play with the Yeah, you can't file it tomorrow,
- 44:00Speaker 1: then just file an extension. Get an extension, and then
- 44:02Speaker 1: you will have until October file your damn taxi man,
- 44:06Speaker 1: But hey, you hate them damn people. Tomorm he's speaking
- 44:16Speaker 1: from experience, from his heart. Let's just stay from it.
- 44:20Speaker 1: He uh huh, from the bottom of it, Tommy, Tommy
- 44:26Speaker 1: Strange one hundred. He keeping it. Yeah, what my time, Stephen, Kay,
- 44:33Speaker 1: someone is just joining us this very moment. A tax tip,
- 44:37Speaker 1: your tax tip, ask me for Okay, So Steve Um.

- 54:37Speaker 1: We got it for you here. It is the Strawberry Letter.
- 54:40Speaker 1: All right, thank you, nephew. Subject Grandpa is lonely and
- 54:43Speaker 1: needs some loving. Dear Steve and Shirley, I'm a forty
- 54:47Speaker 1: two year old married woman and my seventy six year
- 54:49Speaker 1: old father in law moved in with us after his
- 54:52Speaker 1: wife died last year. He was very depressed, so we
- 54:56Speaker 1: thought it would help if he came to live with
- 54:58Speaker 1: us and be surrounded by family. We have two teens,
- 55:01Speaker 1: a boy and a girl, and they have enjoyed having
- 55:04Speaker 1: their grandfather in the house. But there's just one issue.
- 55:08Speaker 1: Now that my father in law is a widower, he
- 55:10Speaker 1: pleases himself almost every night, and he is very loud
- 55:14Speaker 1: about it. He's the he's the come on, I gotta
- 55:20Speaker 1: get through this guy. He's in the guest bedroom right
- 55:24Speaker 1: next to our master bedroom, and we are not sure
- 55:28Speaker 1: exactly what he's doing in there, but we certainly don't
- 55:31Speaker 1: want to hear it most nights. Most nights around eleven
- 55:35Speaker 1: PM or so, we hear the bed squeaking, he's moaning,
- 55:39Speaker 1: and occasionally he will curse out loud. I think he's
- 55:44Speaker 1: so loud because he's he's hearing is bad and he
- 55:47Speaker 1: has no idea how loud he is. The kids have
- 55:51Speaker 1: told us that they hear strange noises at night, but
- 55:54Speaker 1: we told them that his grandpa's TV up too loud.
- 55:58Speaker 1: I know this poor old man maybe still morning his
- 56:00Speaker 1: wife and he may not be ready to date yet,
- 56:03Speaker 1: but he needs to start taking care of his business
- 56:06Speaker 1: during the day while the kids are at school and
- 56:08Speaker 1: we're at work. I told my husband that we need
- 56:11Speaker 1: to address this issue, and I suggested that my husband
- 56:14Speaker 1: do it man to man, son to father, but he
- 56:17Speaker 1: said he's not going to do it. He does not
- 56:20Speaker 1: want to embarrass his dad or make him feel unwelcome.
- 56:24Speaker 1: Maybe I can encourage my father in law to get
- 56:26Speaker 1: out more and hope that he can meet a nice
- 56:29Speaker 1: single woman, or should I just let it go and
- 56:31Speaker 1: hope that my husband will handle this. I need this
- 56:35Speaker 1: to stop. Please help, oh temmy. You know people ask
- 56:46Speaker 1: us that all the time, as if we make these up.
- 56:48Speaker 1: I can't make this stuff up, can you, Steve? All? Right?
- 56:53Speaker 1: Here we go? I just you know, I wouldn't know
- 56:56Speaker 1: how in the world to broach the subject if this
- 56:59Speaker 1: were my father and on my house doing this. I mean,
- 57:02Speaker 1: even if it was in my own home, I really
- 57:05Speaker 1: wouldn't know. I mean, I think you did the best
- 57:07Speaker 1: thing by asking your husband his son to talk to
- 57:10Speaker 1: his dad about it. But he says he's not gonna
- 57:14Speaker 1: do it. You know this, He probably is embarrassed too,
- 57:19Speaker 1: and he says he doesn't want to embarrass his dad.
- 57:21Speaker 1: But I mean, is it really that loud? You can
- 57:24Speaker 1: hear the bed squeaking, you can hear him cursing and stuff.
- 57:27Speaker 1: I guess if the rooms are so close and the
- 57:29Speaker 1: walls are so thin, gee, and the kids here too,
- 57:33Speaker 1: they hear strange noises. Somebody's got to do something. And
- 57:37Speaker 1: if your husband's too ashamed or whatever it is to
- 57:40Speaker 1: talk to his own dad, you're the woman of the house. Uh,
- 57:44Speaker 1: you know. I encourage you too, you know, encourage him
- 57:49Speaker 1: to meet some women, a nice single woman and you know,
- 57:53Speaker 1: start dating and stuff. I know it's it's soon, it's
- 57:57Speaker 1: been a year, but maybe he can, you know, go
- 57:59Speaker 1: out with you guys and meet someone, or have some
- 58:02Speaker 1: people introduce him to their single parents and and things
- 58:06Speaker 1: like that. Grandparents. But um, wow, this is major and
- 58:10Speaker 1: I have no idea what to tell you because I
- 58:13Speaker 1: don't know what I would do in this situation. Honestly,
- 58:15Speaker 1: I wouldn't steve you. Well, it ain't major. I can
- 58:18Speaker 1: tell you that bone. Let me having this right here
- 58:21Speaker 1: because I ain't got brod see you tippy toeing, Ronie
- 58:24Speaker 1: because you don't know what to do. Well, seventy six
- 58:28Speaker 1: been wife died and he's real depressed and got said,
- 58:32Speaker 1: and y'all feel sorry for him, So y'all asking the move.
- 58:34Speaker 1: And the grandkids love having papa. It's just a real
- 58:38Speaker 1: night and and everything. You know, you got two team
- 58:41Speaker 1: boys and a girl. They just love having their grandfather
- 58:44Speaker 1: in the house. Well, the problem is he's a widow though,
- 58:48Speaker 1: and you know she just died, uh man, yeah, last year,
- 58:54Speaker 1: last year, So you know, here trying to work through
- 58:57Speaker 1: a couple of things, and y'all in game against bed
- 59:01Speaker 1: room right next to the master. Then you say, we're
- 59:08Speaker 1: not exactly sure what he's doing in there, but we
- 59:11Speaker 1: certainly don't want to hear it. Well, then you must
- 59:14Speaker 1: know what's going on. You ain't showing what he's doing there.
- 59:18Speaker 1: You just ain't showing how he doing it. You know
- 59:20Speaker 1: what the hell going on? You grown? Because it's grown,
- 59:23Speaker 1: folk ladder. You just said he was in that pleasure
- 59:25Speaker 1: in himself in that pop now seventy six, which makes
- 59:32Speaker 1: me sit up because I'm going at seventy six that
- 59:38Speaker 1: you mean to tell me that the possibilities is still there.
- 59:44Speaker 1: Hallelujah for this strawberry lead up. I got something to
- 59:49Speaker 1: look forward to. I ain't mad at your pop handle
- 59:53Speaker 1: your business. You can't find somebody you be who you
- 59:57Speaker 1: need them to be up sitting up there, man man,
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: every night, most nights, most nights round eleven, you hear
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: the bed squeaking. Now that's y'all's fault. Y'all put him
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: in that brag of ass bed. Your new problem is coming.
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: The first thing you need to do now is get
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: that box spraying out of there, to fix them slats
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: or something, and get that new phone, mattress that ain't
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: got all that squeaking that that's this y'all fault. Then
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: he's moaning, and occasionally he will cuss out loud. You
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: got to, oh boy, you have to God be up putting.
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: I bought him about come on with this? What girl?
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: You better? He's by himself, sprang man can get on

- 1:07:25Speaker 1: I like the smell of fried fish. And then only
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: have one over thing that I have pale wilding gloves

- 1:08:05Speaker 1: you know I'm loan this show. I'm by myself. You
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: know it ain't got to be all of what it was. No,
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: h ain't nobody looking. It's just me myself and that
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: what TV shows you watching? Well, ain't got no TV

- 1:08:26Speaker 1: they can hear. Well, have you ever thought, um start
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: that you should get a girlfriend or something, maybe go
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: over her house? Yeah, I wish I could find a girlfriend,
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: you know, you know some you know anybody setting the
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: fly that's fine. Well you ain't gonna be fine. I

- 1:09:08Speaker 1: And don't forget about that coming up in ten minutes.
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: Game of Thrones and Tiger Woods whoa right after this.
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steven Show. All right, Steve. Last
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: night was the very first episode of the final season
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: of Game of Thrones. I'm happy, I'm sad, I'm happy
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: it's back. I'm sad this is the last season. The
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: season will have just six episodes, so the final six, yeah,
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: only six. The final four of them will clock in
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: at about eighty minutes each though, So Steve, we're we're
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: asking you, because you're so good at this, to give
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: us your season predictions, how it's all gonna end and
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: what do you think see it last night? So here's
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: what's going to happen. Okay, first problem, they got the deal,
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: did damn dragon? They didnt drug factors? Water with these
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: blue eyes couldn't be Molehill and you can count and
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: the little white girl that control that, the mama the
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: dragon CLESI, Yeah, no, no, that's Cleisi. Yeah, Coalezie gonna
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: have to get her act together because she's gonna have
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: to do some real mama talk to this damn dragon
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: call the crazy dead people is running things now, you know,
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: the big skeleton asked people and they're coming in here
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: and then you can kill them, but they die and
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: they come back. So I don't know what the hell
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: gonna happen. But anyway, first thing first, you got to
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: start dealing with this damn dragon. Then we're gonna have
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: to get some type of unity form within all these people, though.
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: The wild is gonna have to get with the gonna
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: have to get with the with the queen with the
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: short hair that don't like Yeah, that don't like the
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: other group of people. What's the other lady name? Yeah, yeah,
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: she don't like her, but they don't. She don't know
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: that all hell coming you mess with the white girl
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: got them dragon, right, and so the girl with the
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: short hair gonna had to size up. Yeah, she gonna
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: have to come on. Now her brother with the one
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: arm that ain't got that got that gold hand. Yeah,
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: instead of been trying to sleep with her. Somebody gonna
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: have to sleep with that boy soon. Yeah. Yeah, but listen, Timmy,
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: don't nobody know it though. See, don't nobody really know
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: they no couple, right, So now everything he got that
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: gold fake hand that's made out of brass. Yeah, we're
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: gonna have to do something now. Now the other one
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: they got the size of car. They got to get
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: the big white girl that's a guard, the big the
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: big guard that to whoop most of me in ass.
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, yeah, they got to get home the right side. Now.
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: The little white girl that got throwed out the family
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: and everything that they came back and went to the
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: little dead people college. Yeah, they had all the little
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: heads up in the holes all that. She gonna be
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: reckoned with two because she just now got back to
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: the house. A girl now a damn hound. You thought
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: the hound is dead, but he been got healed, defendn't
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: come back. I think hound gonna mess around being one
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: of them damn dragons, and y'all ain't gonna know what
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: to do. Then hounds anything that one of them drags
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: because he nice to know, damn. But so you're gonna
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: have to deal with him. And then you got that
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: man that's in love with the Mama dragon, the dude
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: that's gonna that's slowly turned into the rock dude. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: he coming back now he gonna he gonna kill itself
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: for that white girl because he'd do anything for her.
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: He healed, Yeah, he's healed. Now oh oh oh she
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: I ain't know that now. Some of them coalsive people.
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: They cold. You need them to win. This wall gets
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: to whitening car because they ain't scared, no damn. But
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: they can horseback, ride backwards with no damn side, so
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: you gonna have hair on the pay. Yeah, so I'll
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: just let you know you need him in. They can
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: ride a horse back with bad back. But on the
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: other damn way, ain't got a brain or nothing. They
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: hand just smacking the horse on the ass, just riding.
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: I don't know what they if you haven't mentioned Terran though,
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: you know I ain't got to that part getting out
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: a little man Tyran, big ass head. Ye. Now, when
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: he come, he gonna end up running everything that's called. See,
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: he gonna end up running everything and win it all in.
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: When it all in, Tien is gonna be quint Keen
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: with about four tall women, asked queen, come on, I
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: ain't mad at it. He packing, so he gonna have
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: him cause he called a little man, be bringing it.
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: Keep being that, frying to bake him to win me
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: extra Crispi, keep you taking orders. I can't extra Chris
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: me like a curl up on the end, get rid
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: from putting on your toes. And that's what's gonna happen
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: on Game of Thrones. Wait wait, John john snow gonna
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: die for real this time. Ye ain't gonna beating him more,
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: damn coming back. He's nice. Now he gonna hook up though,
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: listen to me, he gonna be he gonna be fine
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: with he gonna hook up with little Maid. Yeah together, yeah, man,
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: because they are right day, the two with the most sense. Yeah,
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: they're gonna work together. Thank you for that. Wow, somebody
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: that ain't seen that much of it. Point though, tell
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: you what, no what, just just know that I know
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: what what I know was real. Now, let me tell
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: you one thing gonna happen. Okay, just noticed right here.
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: But the mama are the dragons. You're gonna convince the
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: other dragon and come on back. I believe that, I
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: really really really do believe. Yeah yeah, yeah about the
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: white walk the dragon, the other dragon gonna go at
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: his ass real hard about that, mama. Oh, ok thank,
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: what's gonna happen me? Is you know how dragon feel
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: about your mother? Tell you what I think gonna happen
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: with the drag him with the blue fire, gonna mess
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: around to fry somebody real close to him. Yeah, and
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: gonna see the herd on the faith and they're gonna
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: get ready to fry Hull, but he gonna turn around
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: the spin and gonna fry damn White Wise. Yeah, that
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: would be a perfect ending. Se Yeah, he gonna turn around,
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: fry all of them, and then then they're gonna get
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: that blue spirit and kill him. Yeah, he gonna die,
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: and then the other dragon and the mama gonna be
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: over that crime. Yeah. I'm happy. I'm sad though I'm
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: happy it's back, but I'm gonna be sad when it leaves,
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: all right, yeah, yeah, all right. Coming up at the
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: top of the hour, guys from golf to basketball, Junior
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: is here with the NBA playoffs down right after this.
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: You're listening, all right, Junior? What you got NBA playoffs?
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: Let's go oh my god. Well, you know, we didn't
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: really watch the NBA playoffs early. Uh huh didn't watch yeah,
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: because Tiger was winning, right, we had to watch tight.
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: But we do have some games tonight, Uncle Tommy, just
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: trying to fall out. What's going on here? Man? That
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: ain't no Cleveland. We know, ain't no Cleveland, but just
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: breaking down every yeah, and they had to say that,
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: we tell you clean. I don't know how you feel.
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: It's gonna be the Brown's gonna be for the Cavalier,
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: but it ain't no Cleveland. But other than that, though,
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: we still have Brooklyn and Philly and Brooklyn. Can you
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: bleed this? Brooklyn beat Philly one of them one on
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: two man, Yeah, there's one. This is changed your prediction
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: for that series though? What's change boy? This thing? What
- 1:17:11Speaker 1: did you talking about? Phillip coming They lost at home?
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: They lost at home. No, no Milwaukee coming out the East.
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: You can if they lost at home the one game,
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: what's y'all what's y'all crime for? But it's it's it
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: changes the game when it happens. Yeah, it changed how
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: you play y'all so young? Yeah, but they lost by nine,
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: like they just lost. They loll by nine, nine or one?
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: What difference they make? You lost nine o one? You
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: think they feel better if they lost by one? No? No,
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: do you think Brooklyn would be talking about trash if
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: they won by one? I'm just a lost fell It's
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: just you know, man, get a grip. They're gonna be fine.
- 1:17:54Speaker 1: We're gonna see. But I can't. Can I tell you
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: how much I don't care? Right? Because why why you
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: don't care? Called Cleveland? Ain't? Ain't know why clean? Ain't it?
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: Called Lebron left? You know why Lebron left? Because you
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: went to them damn Lakers? Like I tell him not too,
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: asked him quick, what's going on out here? I ain't
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: been a Laker fan since Shot left? Oh man, but
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: that damn black um who that wasn't wasn't the reason
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: Shot left? No? Not everybody said, but Shelly stopped and
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: stop doing gossip. It's gonna love him. There's a reasonable hope.
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: We didn't treat me right, that's why he left, all right?
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: All right? We got the number seven seed. Orlando and
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: Toronto playing the night Man. This this is crazy. That's
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: a series. Don't nobody don't like about Moorland than one
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: Orlando and Toronto. Why they don't care about it? Called
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: a Toronto? But who who washed you around? Drake? Okay,
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: Drake d that's funny. They have the least amount of
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: celebrities that so so Drake the oldest celebrity at the thrond.
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: You ain't seen anymore. But down keep you Houston. They're
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: gonna do something. We're gonna We're gonna Houston gonna play
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: Golden State in the next round. Yeah, it's gonna be
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: a little different. Yeah, And I hope. I hope Houston
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: beat them. I really do. Yeah. If if, if Chris
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: Paul can, if Chris Hall has been healthy last year,
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: many I think they could have got him last year.
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: Everybody really scared this year though, they have started looking
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: like the Warriors of old. So wow, okay, explain this
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: would be the player tonight? Now, San Antonio up one
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: game Old Denver. How does Greg Papavis have no name,
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: playoff and still winning. He's a great coach, and they
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: buy into the system. They buy into the system. Man.
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: But once again, this is a series don't nobody care about.
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you something, man, it's really not great
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: series going on right now. Houston and Denver is about
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: the series that people will watch, Houston and Utah. I'm sorry, yeah,
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: because right like right now, man, the playoffs. It's too
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: early right now for basketball then play They did some
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: games in that East game, you know, come on, let's
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: just get on down to the conference finals. That's all.
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: And I'm on a natural Tiger Woods high. So I'm good. Yeah, man,
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: I'm so good. Man. I'm so good with Tiger winning, man,
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: because they counted him out. They did. But you know, man,
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: I hate the way golf did him when he got
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: caught with them chicks. I hate the way Golf did
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: his scam. But I hate because the golfers the Corey
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: paid and it's what they were saying out loud. I'm
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: ashamed of him. Oh man, I can't stand when another
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: man jump on a man like that about that, like
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: you so damn self righteous, like like like like the
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: thought they ever crossed show man, Oh you just didn't
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: get caught. Oh man, now, look is it? Is it right?
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: What he did it? Hell? Now, did that girl have
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: every right to bust him windows out with that seven nine? Yell?
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: Got all that, But the way, but the way that
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: the golfer's actor by acting about it, it's what kind
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: of ticked me off, you know. And then they loved
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: seeing him down because then they finally had a chance
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: to win a tournament because when Tiger was in, it
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: was just who was playing for a second, and so
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: they really never rallied around him. A couple of a
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: couple of people stayed by his side and was cool
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: with him, you know, Jason Day, you know what the
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: file of Bubba Watson. They was cool with him, you know,
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: but a lot of the man turned their back on him.
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: Yeah that's what he gets and they love Yeah. Oh yeah,
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: Nike stayed with him because they cause it, cause it
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: cause it yesterday. They knew him. We leave it. We
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: ain't going to know. I mean the president from former
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: President Obama tweeted about him, Nike tweeted, Serena Williams tweeted,
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: Trump tweeted about Oh really what did he say, well,
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: you know, just congratulating. He knows. Hey, but let me
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: tell you something. Trump is a golfer. He got all
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: them golf courses. He knows who that boy is. He
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: know who that boy is. And man, I had an
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: interesting show. I had Van Jones on my show and
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: it was really really interesting, which we had time talk
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: about that. Well, all right, you can always make time. Yeah,
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: it's your show. When you want to talk when just
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: tell us all right, We'll be back with more of
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show right after this, like you're
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: listening show. Well. Atlanta's Morehouse College announced this weekend that
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: it would begin admitting transgender students who identify as mail
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: starting in the fall semester of next year. The move
- 1:24:10Speaker 1: comes as part of its new gender identity admissions and
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: matriculation policy. It also follows in the footsteps of neighboring
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: Spellman College and All Female University, which rolled out a
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: similar policy for transgender women back in twenty seventeen. Wow,
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: so they're catching up with Spellman basically and letting everyone in. Yeah,
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: and I think it's cool. Whoever want to education should
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: be allowed to get an education. That's right. It don't matter, man. Now,
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: I do think what's going to have to happen is
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: you're going to have when you have that rooms and
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: you just get assigned rooms. You know, you got to
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: have some situations, but where people have to be okay
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: with it because people don't get along for various reasons. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: your room change all that. So that's gonna happen to
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: you just gotta share. Everybody's on point. But I don't
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: think it should be a problem, man, I really don't,
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: especially in today's society. Yeah, well, so far, it doesn't
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: seem to have been a problem at Spellman, and I
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: don't think, you know, I'm sure I expect the same
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: for more House. In other news, Nancy Pelosi on Sunday
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: issued a statement calling for Donald Trump to remove a
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: tweet featuring a dangerous video with Minnesota Congresswoman Omar and
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: featured footage from the September eleventh terrorist attacks. Pelosi added
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: that she also put into place additional security to protect
- 1:25:35Speaker 1: Congresswoman Omar, who is a Muslim, from any possible backlash
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: from the video and tweet. On Saturday, Trump tweeted a
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: video with the caption we will never forget along with
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: Omar repeatedly saying the phrase some people did something, paired
- 1:25:50Speaker 1: with footage from the two thousand and one attacks. The
- 1:25:53Speaker 1: Omar quote is pulled from a speech from a March
- 1:25:55Speaker 1: Islamic rights event, but appears to be out of text
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: in the video. Trump tweeted okay. Pelosi's office issued a
- 1:26:05Speaker 1: statement on Sunday that said, following the President's tweet, I
- 1:26:08Speaker 1: spoke to the Sergeant at Arms to ensure that Capitol
- 1:26:11Speaker 1: Police are conducting a security assessment to safeguard Congresswoman Omar,
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: her family, and her staff. The statement continued, the President's
- 1:26:19Speaker 1: word words weigh a ton, and his hateful and inflammatory
- 1:26:23Speaker 1: rhetoric creates real danger. Look so he put it out,
- 1:26:28Speaker 1: he's yeah it very much. So is right. He has
- 1:26:33Speaker 1: to be more well, he's not done to stop. Okay, diplomatic, No,
- 1:26:38Speaker 1: I don't care. Because he says he's not going to change. Yeah. Yeah,
- 1:26:44Speaker 1: this is saying every morning, y'all sound like something gonna
- 1:26:47Speaker 1: change now, I'm yeah, he's seventy one. He's not going
- 1:26:52Speaker 1: to change. Yeah. What you see is what you get.
- 1:26:56Speaker 1: And if anything, he doubles down. I've never seen him apology. Guy,
- 1:27:00Speaker 1: he doubles down. If he he pavement very pay. Oh
- 1:27:03Speaker 1: yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah for sure. Yeah,
- 1:27:07Speaker 1: you're right though, Tommy, It's it's just draining and exhausting.
- 1:27:11Speaker 1: I have to turn I love watching CNN. What happened?
- 1:27:15Speaker 1: Turn it off? Sometimes I don't like it? Oh yeah yeah, yeah,
- 1:27:18Speaker 1: it it breaks. It's You're right, it's like it sucks
- 1:27:22Speaker 1: the life out of you. It really does. I'm like you, though, Shirley.
- 1:27:28Speaker 1: I took a break from news for about a week. Yeah,
- 1:27:31Speaker 1: because I'm just sick of it. I'm sick of what
- 1:27:34Speaker 1: he does. I'm sick of how CNN covers everything he does.
- 1:27:40Speaker 1: It's just watching the news is all negative. Yeah, all right,
- 1:27:44Speaker 1: We'll have more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming
- 1:27:46Speaker 1: up right after this. You're listening to show today's tax Day,
- 1:27:52Speaker 1: And before we get to Steve's number one tax tip,
- 1:27:56Speaker 1: take a listen to White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders
- 1:27:59Speaker 1: when she tell old Fox News that this Congress is
- 1:28:02Speaker 1: not smart enough to look through President Trump's tax records. Wow,
- 1:28:06Speaker 1: this is all about political partisanship. This is a dangerous,
- 1:28:09Speaker 1: dangerous road. And frankly, Chris, I don't think Congress, particularly
- 1:28:13Speaker 1: not this group of congressmen and women are smart enough
- 1:28:17Speaker 1: to look through the thousands of pages that I would
- 1:28:20Speaker 1: assume that President Trump's taxes will be. My guess is
- 1:28:23Speaker 1: most of them don't do their own taxes, and I
- 1:28:25Speaker 1: certainly don't trust them to look through the decades of
- 1:28:29Speaker 1: success that the president has and determine anything. He's filled
- 1:28:32Speaker 1: out hundreds of pages in a financial disclosure form. Have
- 1:28:35Speaker 1: you filed your taxes yet? I'm almost finished on in
- 1:28:38Speaker 1: the process. More days. I'm asking for an extension. Okay, Sarah,
- 1:28:43Speaker 1: thank you for what her boss saysn't file? Why she
- 1:28:48Speaker 1: Oh no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. Y'all
- 1:28:51Speaker 1: know him, say he didn't file, well, not to file.
- 1:28:56Speaker 1: You know what he's filed, but he won't show him.
- 1:28:59Speaker 1: He's not I'm not going to show them. Yeah, you're
- 1:29:02Speaker 1: not going. You can subpoena and they're not gonna. It's
- 1:29:06Speaker 1: not that you're not smart enough. It's that you won't
- 1:29:08Speaker 1: believe what he's done to pay. The amount of taxes
- 1:29:14Speaker 1: that he's paid, which she has paid based on the
- 1:29:18Speaker 1: amount of money he's good. It's just gonna be mind boggling.
- 1:29:21Speaker 1: They cannot let you see that. And he ain't still
- 1:29:24Speaker 1: getting ordered it. Yeah, she really really did, especially this
- 1:29:30Speaker 1: fresh crop of men and women. Yeah, yeah, yeah. She
- 1:29:36Speaker 1: sounds a little more aggressive now too, after that Mulla
- 1:29:39Speaker 1: report came. Oh, they're gonna get out of now. I
- 1:29:41Speaker 1: want you to understand something. She better have her stuff together,
- 1:29:49Speaker 1: because I can promise you what they're gonna be saying that. Okay,
- 1:29:52Speaker 1: we okay, we can't figure out here. Well let's look
- 1:29:54Speaker 1: at your we'll see. The House Democrats have given the
- 1:29:58Speaker 1: Trump administration a hard deadline of April twenty three to
- 1:30:01Speaker 1: turn over the president's tax returns. Under a tax code,
- 1:30:05Speaker 1: the committee chairperson can ask the I R s for
- 1:30:08Speaker 1: any taxpayers returns, and the Treasury Department shall furnish them.
- 1:30:13Speaker 1: Well that's gonna be interesting, Yeah it will. But now
- 1:30:17Speaker 1: what are we gonna do because you can't indict sitting
- 1:30:20Speaker 1: president and he's probably done nothing illegal. He's just you
- 1:30:26Speaker 1: some loopholes. Y'all ain't gonna believe. I ain't gonna believe
- 1:30:29Speaker 1: it either. Let me just put myself in that group too,
- 1:30:32Speaker 1: because the taxes I'm paying help me Jesus. Well, father,
- 1:30:37Speaker 1: go Since it is tax Day, the last day to
- 1:30:41Speaker 1: file your taxes or to file for an extension. What
- 1:30:44Speaker 1: is your tax tip for us for today? Dear, pay
- 1:30:47Speaker 1: your damn tax. That's what pay your damn tax. Don't
- 1:30:58Speaker 1: play with these people. Uh, these people are the only
- 1:31:03Speaker 1: people who ain't got to ask you nothing. They can
- 1:31:08Speaker 1: garna shee your wages, or they put the freeze on
- 1:31:11Speaker 1: your account. And I got news for you. When they
- 1:31:14Speaker 1: put the freeze on the account and you get scared
- 1:31:16Speaker 1: and you can the money down. Now it's stay frozen
- 1:31:20Speaker 1: for six more weeks. Oh, they don't unfreezing today. You
- 1:31:25Speaker 1: paid the money this set. Oh no, no, no, they
- 1:31:30Speaker 1: take stay damn time. They punish you. All right, you
- 1:31:34Speaker 1: heard him, pay your taxes, no say them today? Right, Okay,
- 1:31:39Speaker 1: we'll be back with mar from Steve Harvey his closing
- 1:31:42Speaker 1: remarks right after this. You're listening Steve Morning Show. All right, Steve,
- 1:31:49Speaker 1: here we are last break of the day on this
- 1:31:51Speaker 1: tax day. Please take us home, get us back to
- 1:31:54Speaker 1: work with some good juicy closing remarks. Hey, you know, um,
- 1:31:59Speaker 1: I try. I try to be encouraging, you know, to people,
- 1:32:01Speaker 1: because everybody wants to be successful, everybody wants to be happy.
- 1:32:07Speaker 1: I've I've been at this for some time now, and
- 1:32:11Speaker 1: I just like telling people some of the small valuable
- 1:32:16Speaker 1: lessons that I've had to learn along the way. And
- 1:32:19Speaker 1: you know, man, I used to get bummed out when
- 1:32:22Speaker 1: when bad things happened to me. I mean I really did. Look,
- 1:32:26Speaker 1: I'm human, I'm like anybody else that you know. Man,
- 1:32:28Speaker 1: When when I come up in an attack and I
- 1:32:30Speaker 1: don't think it's justified, it used to bum me out.
- 1:32:33Speaker 1: I mean for like a week, three four days, you know.
- 1:32:38Speaker 1: I used to be really thrown off sometimes because I
- 1:32:42Speaker 1: did not understand why the attack was coming. I didn't
- 1:32:48Speaker 1: understand why. Maybe sometimes people couldn't understand why I was
- 1:32:51Speaker 1: coming from. Maybe sometimes I just couldn't understand the level
- 1:32:55Speaker 1: of hatred that are in some people, you know. Sometimes
- 1:33:00Speaker 1: and I would just go, Ay, God, come on, now,
- 1:33:03Speaker 1: what is this about it? I don't really deserve this,
- 1:33:05Speaker 1: do I mean? Am I really a bad person? You
- 1:33:08Speaker 1: know what I was talking about? How are you letting
- 1:33:10Speaker 1: this happen? But you gotta understand something, man, Everything that
- 1:33:15Speaker 1: you're going through is preparing you for what you ask
- 1:33:20Speaker 1: God for. Just know that everything you're going through, every
- 1:33:25Speaker 1: single thing, is preparing you for what you ask God for,
- 1:33:28Speaker 1: or it's preparing you for what God has for you.
- 1:33:32Speaker 1: So what I ended up learning and what I do
- 1:33:35Speaker 1: now is like, you know, I still get bad news
- 1:33:37Speaker 1: and it throw me, but it don't throw me into
- 1:33:39Speaker 1: for no days no more. Ain't no two days while
- 1:33:42Speaker 1: I'm wallowing in nothing no more. You know, you throw
- 1:33:44Speaker 1: me for a couple hours, and you know, I sleep
- 1:33:46Speaker 1: on it, and I start praying about it, getting myself together,
- 1:33:49Speaker 1: and then I'm ready to hit it tomorrow morning. You're not.
- 1:33:52Speaker 1: You're not. You can't do anything to me to get
- 1:33:55Speaker 1: me for days anymore, because I understand what it is, man,
- 1:34:01Speaker 1: and you know what it is. If you saw the
- 1:34:05Speaker 1: size of the blessings that were coming, then you would
- 1:34:09Speaker 1: understand the magnitude of the battle you are fighting. Do
- 1:34:15Speaker 1: you understand that if you saw the size of the
- 1:34:19Speaker 1: blessing coming, you would understand the magnitude of the battle
- 1:34:23Speaker 1: that you're fighting. See, man, you got to get tested
- 1:34:29Speaker 1: along the way. And no free rides and on free lunch,
- 1:34:35Speaker 1: you know, ain't no free You know all this stuff,
- 1:34:38Speaker 1: it's not going to be easy. You're going to be
- 1:34:42Speaker 1: challenged because two things. Sometimes God allows things to happen
- 1:34:47Speaker 1: to you because he know you need the experience of it.
- 1:34:51Speaker 1: And that's just the truth. Sorry, but God didn't come
- 1:34:54Speaker 1: into your life to tell you that he was gonna
- 1:34:56Speaker 1: smooth everything out and you weren't gonna hand no more worries. Now,
- 1:35:01Speaker 1: that's not what he said. He said he would give
- 1:35:04Speaker 1: you the strength to handle it, the knowledge and the
- 1:35:07Speaker 1: wisdom to endure, the ability to maintain. And that's exactly
- 1:35:13Speaker 1: what he does. And I've been saying this for the
- 1:35:16Speaker 1: past two weeks, but I can't stop saying it because
- 1:35:20Speaker 1: it's really so good. And the reason you know that
- 1:35:25Speaker 1: God said he would give you the strength to endure anything,
- 1:35:29Speaker 1: that he would stand with you and make sure you
- 1:35:31Speaker 1: got through it, whether you ask him for help or not.
- 1:35:34Speaker 1: He's done that to you up until this point, because,
- 1:35:37Speaker 1: like I've been saying for a past couple of weeks,
- 1:35:41Speaker 1: every rough day you've ever had, every day you thought
- 1:35:44Speaker 1: you wasn't going to endure. If you look back on it,
- 1:35:46Speaker 1: your track record for surviving bad days is one hundred percent.
- 1:35:50Speaker 1: And that's pretty good. Everybody. You have survived one hundred
- 1:35:54Speaker 1: percent of all of your bad days. So guess what then?
- 1:35:59Speaker 1: That must mean? Promises a truth that he said he
- 1:36:02Speaker 1: promised to never leave you, did he leave you when
- 1:36:05Speaker 1: you got through it in bad days, Na, And he
- 1:36:07Speaker 1: was there when most of us didn't even call on him.
- 1:36:10Speaker 1: He was just there for us. So with that in mind,
- 1:36:16Speaker 1: take everything that's happening to you with the grain of salt.
- 1:36:21Speaker 1: Absorb it. Know that that's what it is. But know
- 1:36:24Speaker 1: that on the other side, he's probably standing right there,
- 1:36:29Speaker 1: because he always has. And what you don't know is
- 1:36:33Speaker 1: he's carrying you through most of it. He's holding you up.
- 1:36:39Speaker 1: If you saw the size of the blessings that was coming,
- 1:36:42Speaker 1: then you would understand the magnitude of the battle you're fighting.
- 1:36:46Speaker 1: Everybody is in a fight with something. I don't kill
- 1:36:51Speaker 1: who you are. I don't care how much money you got,
- 1:36:52Speaker 1: I don't care what your title is. Everybody is in
- 1:36:56Speaker 1: a battle with something. But on the other side, what's
- 1:37:02Speaker 1: over there? You know? I think it was I read
- 1:37:06Speaker 1: a quote from Will Smith that said, the best things
- 1:37:10Speaker 1: in life on the other side of fear. You ever noticed, man,
- 1:37:15Speaker 1: that on the other side of fears, what's really waiting
- 1:37:18Speaker 1: on you, what God really got for you, is on
- 1:37:20Speaker 1: the other side of fear. You just got to stop
- 1:37:23Speaker 1: being afraid to jump. You gotta stop being afraid to
- 1:37:26Speaker 1: take a chance. You gotta stop being afraid to go
- 1:37:29Speaker 1: see You gotta stop being afraid to try something new.
- 1:37:34Speaker 1: You gotta stop being afraid to put something you value
- 1:37:40Speaker 1: up for risk. It's the only way you're going to
- 1:37:44Speaker 1: win in life. You gotta take chances, best things in
- 1:37:50Speaker 1: life on the other side of fear, and last, but
- 1:37:54Speaker 1: not least, if you saw the size of the blessings
- 1:37:56Speaker 1: that was coming your way, then you would understand the
- 1:37:59Speaker 1: magnitude of the bad. I don't that you fight, all right,
- 1:38:02Speaker 1: that's it, drop it, baby, flow her plunk, do it.
- 1:38:12Speaker 1: In the words of BT express do it, do it
- 1:38:15Speaker 1: to you, satisfy, whatever, whatever, y'all have a great weekend. Yeah,
- 1:38:27Speaker 1: but I'm looking forward to this from because I think
- 1:38:29Speaker 1: I'm off. For all Steve Harvey contests, no purchase necessary,
