Latest / The Ben Ferguson Podcast / Garbage Fallout: Trump's Campaign of Joy, Kamala's Campaign of Rage
Transcript
- 0:01Speaker 1: Welcome.
- 0:01Speaker 2: It is verdict with Senator Ted Cruz, Ben Ferguson with
- 0:05Speaker 2: You and Center. Every time I think the Democrats can't
- 0:08Speaker 2: get any worse at their closing argument for the American people,
- 0:11Speaker 2: after you know, calling all this garbage, they then figure
- 0:14Speaker 2: out a way to insult even more people, this time
- 0:17Speaker 2: women that are supporting Donald Trump.
- 0:20Speaker 1: You can't make it up.
- 0:22Speaker 3: Well, we are four days out from the election, and
- 0:24Speaker 3: in the closing messages, the world is inverted today. Kamala
- 0:28Speaker 3: Harris and Joe Biden, the Democrats, they are angry, they
- 0:32Speaker 3: are lashing out, they are insulting everyone. Donald Trump is hitler.
- 0:36Speaker 3: Anyone who supports Trump as garbage. Any woman who votes
- 0:39Speaker 3: for Trump is stupid and weak. That's their closing argument.
- 0:43Speaker 3: It really is astonishing. And I kind of say, on
- 0:45Speaker 3: the flip side, the Donald Trump campaign, if I were
- 0:48Speaker 3: to sum it up in one word right now, that
- 0:51Speaker 3: word would be joy, ironically, the word that the Kamala
- 0:55Speaker 3: campaign tried to make their catchphrase. They've abandoned. They're just
- 0:58Speaker 3: bitterly insulting the voters. But Donald Trump is having fun.
- 1:02Speaker 3: He's having the most fun I've ever seen him have
- 1:04Speaker 3: on the campaign trail, he is a joyful, happy warrior
- 1:08Speaker 3: right now, and that contrast couldn't be clear.
- 1:11Speaker 1: Yeah, it certainly is.
- 1:13Speaker 2: And it's going to be very interesting to see how
- 1:15Speaker 2: this closing argument plays with the American people. We're going
- 1:18Speaker 2: to break down some actually funny moments from Donald Trump,
- 1:21Speaker 2: a different side of him that we have never seen
- 1:24Speaker 2: in just a moment.
- 1:25Speaker 1: But first, let me tell you about our friends over.

- 3:14Speaker 2: two things that happened since you and I set down
- 3:17Speaker 2: to do the show last time. President Trump, I think
- 3:21Speaker 2: actually did one of the greatest modern political moves that
- 3:27Speaker 2: I've seen, and that was just play into the insanity
- 3:31Speaker 2: of the left. While they're calling Trump supporters garbage, he says, hey,
- 3:36Speaker 2: let's get a garbage truck. Let's sor Trump on the
- 3:39Speaker 2: side of it, give me a garbage man's vest, and
- 3:42Speaker 2: we're going to go out there and have a little
- 3:43Speaker 2: fun with this. That is not what most people, I
- 3:46Speaker 2: think were expecting from Donald Trump.
- 3:49Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 3:50Speaker 3: Look, it's a very clear contrast. As I said, on
- 3:53Speaker 3: the Democrat side, I think they're getting desperate. I think
- 3:56Speaker 3: they're looking at the poll numbers. They feel like this
- 3:58Speaker 3: is all slipping away from them, and they're lashing out.
- 4:03Speaker 3: They're in denial, they're angry, They're sitting there going, how
- 4:06Speaker 3: could we possibly be losing to Donald Trump? And you
- 4:09Speaker 3: see them just cracking up. You see Kamala losing it.
- 4:12Speaker 3: I mean, her whole pretense at joy has disappeared. She's
- 4:16Speaker 3: just lashing out.
- 4:17Speaker 4: Now.
- 4:17Speaker 3: Joe Biden, of course, stupidly set out loud what the
- 4:21Speaker 3: radicals all believe, which is he said that that that
- 4:26Speaker 3: if you're supporting Donald Trump, he thinks you're garbage, a
- 4:28Speaker 3: floating pile of garbage. I'll tell you. On the campaign
- 4:31Speaker 3: trail across Texas today. Now you know it's Halloween. I've
- 4:34Speaker 3: been campaigning, but at every event I did today there
- 4:37Speaker 3: were people that showed up wearing garbage bags. The garbage
- 4:40Speaker 3: bags are selling out at stores because that that may
- 4:43Speaker 3: be the most popular Halloween costume in the country. As
- 4:46Speaker 3: people You're gonna get Kelly dressed in in no mean, Kenny,
- 4:51Speaker 3: did did you wear a garbage bag? So this is
- 4:53Speaker 3: so funny. Tonight we went out trigger treating. I have
- 4:56Speaker 3: never seen so many little kids running down the street
- 5:00Speaker 3: eat in garbage bags.
- 5:01Speaker 1: It was hysterical.
- 5:02Speaker 2: They were wearing maga hats and they were running down
- 5:05Speaker 2: the streets and garbage bags, and several of the parents
- 5:07Speaker 2: that I did not know, because you know, we're on
- 5:09Speaker 2: a street, there's hundreds of kids. They close off the
- 5:11Speaker 2: streets in the subdivision where we get to retreat to
- 5:13Speaker 2: keep everybody safe.
- 5:14Speaker 1: And I asked a couple of them.
- 5:16Speaker 2: I was like, I was like, this is amazing, and
- 5:18Speaker 2: they're like, yeah, our kids were going to be Altuve.
- 5:21Speaker 1: Our kid was going to be a football player, quarterback.
- 5:23Speaker 2: And then they were talking about they said at school
- 5:26Speaker 2: and it just went viral where all.
- 5:27Speaker 3: These kids are like, let's wear garbage bags tonight. It
- 5:32Speaker 3: is an amazing testament. I mean, what Joe Biden said
- 5:35Speaker 3: really hit her nerve, It ticked people off, and then
- 5:39Speaker 3: I think Trump handled it perfectly. And frankly, Trump's reaction
- 5:43Speaker 3: was reminiscent of how he did the McDonald's thing, where
- 5:46Speaker 3: rather than you know, he could have gotten angry and
- 5:48Speaker 3: you know how dare kamalaae about where he at McDonald's
- 5:51Speaker 3: and why is the press such lying sobs? All of
- 5:54Speaker 3: that would have been pretty reasonable to say, but it
- 5:56Speaker 3: was much more effective just to go to a McDonald's
- 5:59Speaker 3: and make some fries and serving the drive through, and
- 6:01Speaker 3: that image. When you think of the iconic images of
- 6:06Speaker 3: this election, I think Trump and the McDonald's will certainly
- 6:09Speaker 3: be one of the iconic images. And Trump and the
- 6:11Speaker 3: garbage truck and truck Trump giving a speech in the
- 6:14Speaker 3: garbage vest will be another one. And take a listen
- 6:18Speaker 3: to President Trump describing how that came came to be.
- 6:24Speaker 4: So this outfit, you know, is uh? When they when
- 6:27Speaker 4: he called us all garbage, how stupid? What a stupid word?
- 6:31Speaker 4: That blows deplorable away don't you think. Of course, I
- 6:36Speaker 4: thought irredeemable. When she said deplorable or irredeemable, I thought
- 6:40Speaker 4: irredeemable was actually worse, but deplorable seemed to catch up.
- 6:44Speaker 4: But this garbage stuff blows blows her way. So I'm
- 6:48Speaker 4: in this beautiful plane. I'm enjoying myself, have a wonderful
- 6:51Speaker 4: suit on. And one of my people came in and said, sir,
- 7:03Speaker 4: you know, the word garbage is the hottest thing right
- 7:05Speaker 4: now out there, the hottest thing out there, sir, would
- 7:12Speaker 4: you like to drive a garbage truck?
- 7:24Speaker 1: Now?
- 7:24Speaker 4: We're about, you know, thirty minutes from landing. We had
- 7:27Speaker 4: to do this pretty quick.
- 7:28Speaker 1: I said, it's sort of cool, though, isn't it, because
- 7:30Speaker 1: you know?
- 7:31Speaker 4: And I said, you know, I think that's okay, but
- 7:33Speaker 4: you know, I don't feel comfortable wearing a suit. And
- 7:37Speaker 4: they pulled up this garbage truck. I don't know how
- 7:39Speaker 4: the hell they did it so fast. I have very
- 7:41Speaker 4: capable people. They put a big sign on the truck.
- 7:44Speaker 4: Did you see it? I think they showed it. And
- 7:53Speaker 4: then they said, sir, we have a vest. I said, well,
- 7:59Speaker 4: should I leave I seed on and put it over
- 8:01Speaker 4: the vest? But that doesn't look very good, right, that
- 8:04Speaker 4: doesn't look good. So I said, look, let me take
- 8:06Speaker 4: it off. And then I actually said I climbed into
- 8:09Speaker 4: the truck. But he so I said, how the hell
- 8:11Speaker 4: do you get into this truck? It's way up high,
- 8:13Speaker 4: it's a big way.
- 8:15Speaker 1: This was a beauty. I said, you didn't have to.
- 8:17Speaker 4: Buy it that big, right, you have to get it
- 8:18Speaker 4: that big. They brought this brand new, gorgeous truck. Wonderful driver.
- 8:22Speaker 4: He looked like Carrie granted his Prime you know that,
- 8:27Speaker 4: this beautiful driver, and he drove that big thing up
- 8:32Speaker 4: and I said, man, this is bad because now I
- 8:34Speaker 4: have all the cameras that all what look look at
- 8:36Speaker 4: all the fake news. They were most of them, now,
- 8:45Speaker 4: most of them, many.
- 8:48Speaker 1: Of them were there.
- 8:49Speaker 4: And I'm saying, oh boy, you know one little mistake
- 8:52Speaker 4: with these guys that your political career is over. You
- 8:54Speaker 4: can't even So I said, man, if I don't get
- 8:58Speaker 4: up there, this is going to be very embarrassing.
- 9:02Speaker 1: He's stupid.
- 9:02Speaker 4: People they'll say he's cognitively and physically appaired.
- 9:10Speaker 1: And I can't do that when I'm.
- 9:11Speaker 4: Alongside of this great athlete. I got to get up
- 9:14Speaker 4: to that. So so look so the stairs, the first
- 9:17Speaker 4: stair is like up here.
- 9:22Speaker 1: So I had.
- 9:24Speaker 4: The adrenaline going and I made it. I made it,
- 9:37Speaker 4: and then I gave a little news conference from the
- 9:40Speaker 4: front of the you know, they asked their wise guy
- 9:41Speaker 4: questions and everything, and then we drove about two feet.
- 9:46Speaker 4: I got into the play and then I got in
- 9:51Speaker 4: the car and I'm driving over here, and I have
- 9:53Speaker 4: this still long and I come into the arena and
- 9:57Speaker 4: I say, where's my jacket.
- 9:59Speaker 1: I want to get out of it the stake and
- 10:03Speaker 1: they said it.
- 10:03Speaker 4: Would be unbelievable if you could wear it on stage.
- 10:06Speaker 1: I said, and I said.
- 10:21Speaker 5: No way.
- 10:23Speaker 4: I got twenty five thousand people standing outside.
- 10:26Speaker 1: I got all these people here.
- 10:27Speaker 4: There's no way I'm wearing it on stage. They said,
- 10:30Speaker 4: oh okay, sir, I said, get me my jacket. But
- 10:33Speaker 4: if you did, you know it actually makes you look thinner,
- 10:38Speaker 4: I said.
- 10:41Speaker 1: And they got me. I said, I want to wear.
- 10:43Speaker 4: It on stage.
- 10:45Speaker 1: When they said I look thinner, I said, in that case,
- 10:50Speaker 1: I'll wear it.
- 10:50Speaker 5: I said, I may never wear a blue jacket again.
- 11:01Speaker 1: I may go, I may go in this.
- 11:04Speaker 4: I said that That was my that was the word.
- 11:07Speaker 1: That was the key.
- 11:08Speaker 4: So you look thinner. So anyway, so we had a
- 11:12Speaker 4: little fun about a very serious subject. We had a
- 11:15Speaker 4: little fun about a time where a country is not
- 11:17Speaker 4: having a lot of fun because we're we're not doing
- 11:20Speaker 4: well as a country. But we're going to be doing
- 11:22Speaker 4: well very shortly, I promise you.
- 11:27Speaker 1: I mean, cinner.
- 11:28Speaker 2: This is just on so many different levels, so interesting
- 11:32Speaker 2: to see, and I think a lot of this is
- 11:33Speaker 2: after the assassination attempt.
- 11:36Speaker 1: He made fun of himself.
- 11:38Speaker 2: He laughed about maybe not being able to get up
- 11:40Speaker 2: in the truck and what that would do in the
- 11:41Speaker 2: ruin your career. He made fun about, you know, not
- 11:45Speaker 2: being maybe the fittest guy in the world, and it
- 11:47Speaker 2: makes me look thinner. And they had me when they
- 11:49Speaker 2: told me the best made me look thinner. I may
- 11:50Speaker 2: never take it off again. I may never wear a
- 11:52Speaker 2: jacket again. And then at the very end he brought
- 11:55Speaker 2: it back home and he said, we had a little
- 11:57Speaker 2: bit of fun even after a very serious conversation that
- 12:01Speaker 2: needs to be had about them having this much hatred
- 12:04Speaker 2: towards us. This is a very different Donald Trump and
- 12:07Speaker 2: his closing arguments to America, which is the guy that
- 12:10Speaker 2: they said you're not supposed to like is extremely likable.
- 12:14Speaker 3: That's absolutely right, And I got to say it's powerful.
- 12:16Speaker 3: It's powerful on a number of levels. Number one, the images,
- 12:20Speaker 3: the image of him driving the garbage truck, the image
- 12:23Speaker 3: of him wearing the vest, was everywhere. It dominated the news.
- 12:28Speaker 3: It drove the news. And that means even if somebody
- 12:32Speaker 3: had been living under a rock, even if they didn't
- 12:35Speaker 3: hear about Joe Biden calling every Donald Trump supporter in
- 12:38Speaker 3: America a floating piece of garbage, they would ask why
- 12:43Speaker 3: is Trump driving a garbage truck? Why is he wearing
- 12:45Speaker 3: a vest? And then they would find out, Oh, because
- 12:48Speaker 3: Joe Biden said, you're a piece of garbage. That was
- 12:52Speaker 3: really powerful and important. It extended the story, It drove
- 12:57Speaker 3: the news. It made sure everyone knew. And I driving
- 13:01Speaker 3: on the bus tour, I stopped in a little town
- 13:03Speaker 3: in Texas today, Hamilton, Texas, very small town. It's a beautiful,
- 13:07Speaker 3: quaint town. And the kids downtown were all trick or treating.
- 13:10Speaker 3: They were little kids were walking up and down downtown
- 13:14Speaker 3: to the stores. And I went in an old drug
- 13:17Speaker 3: store that had an old time soda fountain, and I
- 13:19Speaker 3: got a root beer float and sat there with a
- 13:21Speaker 3: little kid who was dressed up as a tron guy
- 13:24Speaker 3: and it was really fun and I sat there. But
- 13:26Speaker 3: there were kids all throughout this little bitty town Hamilton, Texas,
- 13:31Speaker 3: dressed in garbage bags. I mean, it penetrated everywhere. That's
- 13:36Speaker 3: really powerful. But also the fact that he was relaxed,
- 13:41Speaker 3: that he was cutting jokes, and that he was making
- 13:44Speaker 3: fun of himself. That is not something usually in Trump's repertoire.
- 13:49Speaker 3: To put it mildly, you remember the Al Smith's dinner
- 13:52Speaker 3: that he did, which which you know, was the humorous
- 13:54Speaker 3: dinner hosted to support Catholic charities. Now, of course Kamala
- 13:58Speaker 3: Harris skipped the thing. Trump's speech was really funny. I
- 14:02Speaker 3: gotta say my favorite joke that he told. He's about
- 14:04Speaker 3: two thirds of the way through the speech and he says, okay,
- 14:07Speaker 3: now's the portion of the speech where I'm supposed to
- 14:10Speaker 3: be self deprecating.
- 14:13Speaker 1: I got nothing, And it was he waited just long enough.
- 14:19Speaker 3: And I mean even the lefty journalists cracked up laughing,
- 14:23Speaker 3: and listen, this is a good point. You know, when
- 14:25Speaker 3: he was talking about, oh you mean I look thinner? Okay,
- 14:27Speaker 3: Oh wow, I didn't think I could get my foot
- 14:29Speaker 3: up there. I mean you're right, that's the sort of
- 14:31Speaker 3: joke that it's real, it's funny, it's it's approachable, and
- 14:38Speaker 3: the contrast to the angry hatred coming from the other
- 14:44Speaker 3: side is really striking. It's why I said it in
- 14:47Speaker 3: the beginning of the pod that joy is coming to you.
- 14:51Speaker 3: Combine this in McDonald's and this is a joyful campaign.
- 14:55Speaker 3: In the final four.
- 14:56Speaker 2: Days, it is joyful. And he also is bringing it home.
- 15:00Speaker 2: And Donald Trump in New Mexico was really selling this
- 15:05Speaker 2: point to the crowd when he reminded them of what
- 15:08Speaker 2: this election is about.
- 15:09Speaker 4: Tomlin and Joe call them, all of them. Also, they're
- 15:14Speaker 4: in your group now.
- 15:16Speaker 1: She calls them garbage. He calls them garbage.
- 15:20Speaker 4: Oh, you can imagine their conversations. But I call you
- 15:23Speaker 4: the heart and soul of America.
- 15:25Speaker 1: I call you the.
- 15:26Speaker 4: People that built ourk country.
- 15:29Speaker 1: You're the people that built dark country.
- 15:31Speaker 2: I mean that is bringing home and reminding people this
- 15:35Speaker 2: is the election. I'm here fighting for you. I want
- 15:39Speaker 2: you to succeed. I believe in you. You're the heart
- 15:42Speaker 2: and soul of the country. You're more than more important
- 15:44Speaker 2: than government. They don't look at you as anything but garbage.
- 15:49Speaker 3: Yes, and there's also a double message in this look.
- 15:53Speaker 3: It's the socioeconomic inversion that we have seen in the
- 15:57Speaker 3: last decade remains the single most important shift in politics.
- 16:01Speaker 3: For decades, the conventional wisdom was Republicans are the party
- 16:06Speaker 3: of the rich and Democrats are the party of the
- 16:08Speaker 3: poor and the working class. I don't know if that
- 16:10Speaker 3: was ever the case, but that's what everyone believed it was.
- 16:13Speaker 3: That was conventional wisdom that is now turned on its
- 16:16Speaker 3: head today. The Democrats of the party of coastal elites.
- 16:20Speaker 3: They look down on working men and women, and our party,
- 16:23Speaker 3: we are a blue collar party. We are a party
- 16:25Speaker 3: of truck drivers and steel workers, and cops and firefighters,
- 16:29Speaker 3: and waiters and waitresses. That's who's out of Trump rally.
- 16:31Speaker 3: You and I have been to many Trump rallies. That's
- 16:33Speaker 3: who's coming out now. This is something I've championed for
- 16:36Speaker 3: a long time. Since the day I arrived in the Senate.
- 16:38Speaker 3: I've been fighting for our party to be a blue
- 16:41Speaker 3: collar party. That has always been my political base is
- 16:45Speaker 3: working men and women. But one of the things I
- 16:48Speaker 3: loved about his showing up in the garbage truck. Not
- 16:51Speaker 3: only does it highlight that Joe Biden thinks we're garbage.
- 16:55Speaker 3: But I got to tell you Trump is also representing
- 16:57Speaker 3: and getting the votes of the garbage trucks drives, the
- 17:00Speaker 3: people that are working the basic jobs and what he says,
- 17:03Speaker 3: they're in New Mexico, I call you the people who
- 17:06Speaker 3: built our country. It's the blue collar workers. It's the
- 17:09Speaker 3: union guys who are the ones that are actually doing
- 17:12Speaker 3: the hard work. And the Democrats look down on them
- 17:16Speaker 3: as the dirty, unwashed masses. They think, you stupid people.
- 17:19Speaker 3: Vote for us, but keep your mouth shut and follow
- 17:22Speaker 3: our orders because we know better. And that contrast I
- 17:26Speaker 3: think is night and day and really powerful.
- 17:29Speaker 2: Well and Jade Vance even hitting home on what you
- 17:32Speaker 2: just said is and it went viral. He said, A
- 17:34Speaker 2: mother morning her son, her son who died of a
- 17:37Speaker 2: fetnal overdose is not garbage. A truck driver who can't
- 17:39Speaker 2: afford rising diesel prices is not garbage. A father who
- 17:42Speaker 2: wants to afford groceries is not garbage. Kama Harris and
- 17:47Speaker 2: Joe Biden ought to be ashamed of themselves. He took
- 17:49Speaker 2: that more serious reminding role there, and look, Kama Harris,
- 17:53Speaker 2: she had to dodge questions when she was asked about
- 17:57Speaker 2: this as she was getting on the airplane, he was
- 18:00Speaker 2: asked about the comments by Joe Biden, and she didn't
- 18:03Speaker 2: clean it up very well at all. Listen, she sympathized
- 18:06Speaker 2: with any votes as you do feel appended by or
- 18:09Speaker 2: insulted by the garbage coming.
- 18:13Speaker 6: I am running for president of the United States. I
- 18:15Speaker 6: will be traveling to three states today to do what
- 18:18Speaker 6: I have been doing throughout, which is talking with the
- 18:21Speaker 6: American people about the fact that first of all, I
- 18:25Speaker 6: get it in terms of the concerns they have about
- 18:28Speaker 6: challenges like the price of groceries thy Second, my highest
- 18:32Speaker 6: priority is to address that and to lift them up
- 18:36Speaker 6: around their ambitions, their aspirations, and their dreams, which is
- 18:39Speaker 6: why I have a very specific and detailed plan about
- 18:42Speaker 6: strengthening our economy. Leading economists have reviewed my plan and
- 18:47Speaker 6: indicated it will strengthen the economy and that Donald plim
- 18:50Speaker 6: will weaken the economy. So I'm going to be spending
- 18:54Speaker 6: full time as I've been talking with the American people,
- 18:56Speaker 6: whoever they voted were last time, and as I said,
- 19:00Speaker 6: will repeat over and over again, I am sincere in
- 19:02Speaker 6: what I mean. When elected, Trusty United States, I will
- 19:06Speaker 6: represent all Americans, including those who don't vote for me
- 19:11Speaker 6: and address their needs and their desires.
- 19:15Speaker 1: And then she does what she so well, she walked away.
- 19:19Speaker 2: That was a bad response in a moment where people
- 19:22Speaker 2: were looking, and even the mainstream media there, they were
- 19:25Speaker 2: looking for a real response from her, like, hey, are
- 19:27Speaker 2: you gonna put this to bed? Are you going to
- 19:29Speaker 2: say something to let people know that you don't actually
- 19:30Speaker 2: hate half of America agree with Joe Biden. She didn't
- 19:33Speaker 2: fix it well.
- 19:35Speaker 3: And the shorter answer, do you sympathize with the Trump
- 19:38Speaker 3: supporters who were offended that Joe Biden just called them garbage?
- 19:41Speaker 3: Her shorter answer is no, I think the same thing
- 19:43Speaker 3: if you vote for Biden. I Kamala Harris think you're garbage.
- 19:48Speaker 3: That's the real answer. And it's but you know she
- 19:53Speaker 3: also she can't get off her script. I mean, think
- 19:57Speaker 3: how Bill Clinton would have answered that question. He would
- 20:00Speaker 3: have understood, He would have said, of course, he would
- 20:03Speaker 3: have He would have completely pivoted and said, you know,
- 20:05Speaker 3: praise the American people. He had the instinct that you
- 20:08Speaker 3: never attack the voters. You can disagree with your political opponent,
- 20:13Speaker 3: but not the voters. The voters should not be the enemy,
- 20:16Speaker 3: and the Democrats. As they get desperate, they're lashing out
- 20:20Speaker 3: at the voters. How dare you vote for this guy
- 20:24Speaker 3: we hate so much? And I'll tell you it was
- 20:27Speaker 3: a bad, bad problem that got worse this week. And
- 20:30Speaker 3: it got worse because one of the very top surrogates
- 20:33Speaker 3: for the Kamala Harris campaign is Mark Cuban. They're putting
- 20:36Speaker 3: him everywhere, They're putting him on the view, they're putting
- 20:37Speaker 3: him everywhere. He's like their front guy carrying the message.
- 20:41Speaker 3: And so today Kamala Harris's top surrogate decided it's not
- 20:45Speaker 3: enough to insult half of American callum garbage. Let's go
- 20:47Speaker 3: out of the way to really insult women. Let's go
- 20:50Speaker 3: after women and say that that if you're a woman
- 20:53Speaker 3: and you're backing Donald Trump, that then you are stupid
- 20:57Speaker 3: and you're weak.
- 20:58Speaker 1: I mean, it really is.
- 20:59Speaker 3: Again, it's the same strategy of attack the voters that
- 21:03Speaker 3: it is spectacularly foolish. But give a listen, and I
- 21:07Speaker 3: want you to to listen to Kaylee McKinney reacting to it,
- 21:13Speaker 3: because her reaction was really just I think exactly spot on.
- 21:17Speaker 2: Before I play that for you, I want to say
- 21:19Speaker 2: thank you to so many of you that have been
- 21:21Speaker 2: standing with the people in Israel with the International Fellowship
- 21:24Speaker 2: of Christians and Jews. Last Saturday, Israel launch a target
- 21:28Speaker 2: attack on Iran and retaliation for their massive ballistic missile
- 21:32Speaker 2: strike on Israel and their supportive HESBLO terris in Iran
- 21:36Speaker 2: as well. This is why it's so important that you
- 21:40Speaker 2: stand with the people in Israel because day after day
- 21:44Speaker 2: they are under attack now from all sides, and the
- 21:47Speaker 2: people on the ground are desperate for basic needs and necessities.
- 21:52Speaker 2: And that is where IFCJ comes in. IFCJ is providing
- 21:56Speaker 2: black jackets, temporary bomb shelters, food and water for those
- 22:01Speaker 2: bomb shelters, and they are also giving armored vehicles, including
- 22:06Speaker 2: armored ambulances to help those that are in need and
- 22:10Speaker 2: those that are wounded in these attacks. And that is
- 22:13Speaker 2: why it is so important that you stand with the
- 22:16Speaker 2: people of Israel right now. Standing with Israel and the
- 22:19Speaker 2: Jewish people has never meant so much. And that's why
- 22:22Speaker 2: I'm asking you to stand with them and support them
- 22:25Speaker 2: just like I'm doing by going to support IFCJ dot org.
- 22:30Speaker 2: That's right again, support IFCJ dot org to learn more
- 22:34Speaker 2: and to make a gift now when you give your
- 22:38Speaker 2: money is instantly being used. The Fellowship has already distributed
- 22:41Speaker 2: twenty five emergency vehicles donated in partnership. Vehicles include protective
- 22:48Speaker 2: gear for the volunteers as well as medical bags, and
- 22:52Speaker 2: the vehicles can respond to emergencies within ninety seconds. You
- 22:56Speaker 2: want to have an impact, this is how you can
- 22:58Speaker 2: get involved. IFCJ dot org or call them eight to
- 23:02Speaker 2: eight for eight eight IFCJ that's eight eight eight four
- 23:08Speaker 2: eight eight four three two five, or support IFCJ dot orgon.
- 23:13Speaker 1: Thank you for all of you that are getting involved.
- 23:16Speaker 1: So take a listen.
- 23:17Speaker 2: Here's Mark Cuban first and Kaylee mcininnie, one of these
- 23:20Speaker 2: smart women that worked with Donald Trump, explaining and reminding
- 23:24Speaker 2: America just how many brilliant women are actually in the
- 23:27Speaker 2: conservative movement.
- 23:29Speaker 7: Donald Trump, you never see him around strong, intelligent women ever.
- 23:34Speaker 7: It's just that simple.
- 23:35Speaker 3: They're intimidating to him.
- 23:36Speaker 4: He doesn't like to be challenged by them.
- 23:42Speaker 7: Kayleie, Mark Cuban, Okay, I had to take a breath
- 23:45Speaker 7: before this because this is so profoundly offensive. I worked
- 23:51Speaker 7: for Donald Trump. I consider myself a strong woman. I
- 23:54Speaker 7: consider those around me strong women. Kelly and Conway Brook Rollins,
- 23:59Speaker 7: Avanka Trump, Hope Hicks, Sarah Sanders. That's before we get
- 24:03Speaker 7: to the women that Donald Trump elevated to very high levels,
- 24:07Speaker 7: like Nicki Haley who still supports him, like Amy Cony Barrett,
- 24:10Speaker 7: who he put on the Supreme Court, or the women
- 24:12Speaker 7: currently around him. Susie Wiles comes to mind, Caroline Levitt.
- 24:16Speaker 7: That is so offensive. And you know why because it's
- 24:18Speaker 7: not just about the women who worked for him. He
- 24:19Speaker 7: said the women around Donald Trump. This comes right after
- 24:22Speaker 7: the Joe Biden garbage comment. Okay, the women around Donald Trump.
- 24:25Speaker 7: What about the women who vote for Donald Trump? Are
- 24:27Speaker 7: they weak? Are they dumb? Did Mark Cuban just insult
- 24:31Speaker 7: any woman who supports Donald Trump? Because it's a little,
- 24:34Speaker 7: very small step from that. And this is an official
- 24:36Speaker 7: Biden excuse me, Harris campaign surrogate, Mark Cuban. That is
- 24:40Speaker 7: misogynistic in my view. Get out of here, Mark Cuban.
- 24:44Speaker 7: Kamala Harris, he's your surrogate. I want to hear from you.
- 24:47Speaker 7: Do you agree the women are weak and ineffective? Whatever
- 24:49Speaker 7: he said? Get out of here, and I can't wait
- 24:51Speaker 7: to hear from you. Kamala.
- 24:53Speaker 2: By the way, you're gonna be waiting a long time
- 24:54Speaker 2: to hear from her on this. It is shocking. But
- 24:56Speaker 2: as you and I mentioned a moment ago and Kaylee
- 24:59Speaker 2: just said, they're so this is their top sarrogate that
- 25:02Speaker 2: is a non elected official, and he's been flying around
- 25:06Speaker 2: the country. He's been doing the biggest interviews on her.
- 25:08Speaker 2: Behalf the View is a great example of that where
- 25:10Speaker 2: he said this, and this is another moment of their
- 25:15Speaker 2: closing argument. If it wasn't bad enough to call half
- 25:18Speaker 2: American's garbage, now you're insulting women saying you're an idiot
- 25:21Speaker 2: or stupid if you actually voter support Trump.
- 25:24Speaker 3: Well, I can actually predict Kamala's response when she's gonna
- 25:27Speaker 3: ask about this. She's going to say, look, I was
- 25:31Speaker 3: raised in the middle class. That's what she's got.
- 25:35Speaker 2: Hey, I'm laughing because it's actually a legitimate chance. Like
- 25:38Speaker 2: there should be a Vegas line on that, like it's ridiculous,
- 25:42Speaker 2: but it's actually not.
- 25:44Speaker 3: And by the way, once esenl started mocking her for
- 25:48Speaker 3: that ridiculous line, does she not have anyone in her
- 25:52Speaker 3: campaign that say, says meda vice president, please never say
- 25:55Speaker 3: that again, Like, just remove it from your repertoire because
- 25:59Speaker 3: it is now every time you say it, it's a
- 26:01Speaker 3: laugh line, like nobody can listen to anything else you say,
- 26:04Speaker 3: because they're too busy laughing that. That's your response. Either
- 26:08Speaker 3: her team won't tell her that or she is unable
- 26:11Speaker 3: to resist, but of course she's not gonna back away
- 26:14Speaker 3: from it. And look, this is the attitude of I
- 26:19Speaker 3: think Kamala Harris, of Joe Biden, of Hillary Clinton, of
- 26:24Speaker 3: Barack Obama. Remember, there is a steady line from your
- 26:27Speaker 3: all garbage if you vote for Donald Trump, that's Joe
- 26:30Speaker 3: Biden to Hillary Clinton. The only people voting for Donald
- 26:34Speaker 3: Trump are deplorables to Barack Obama. The people voting on
- 26:39Speaker 3: the other side, the people of America, are bitter and
- 26:42Speaker 3: angry and clinging to their God and their guns.
- 26:45Speaker 1: There is the.
- 26:46Speaker 3: Modern day left. They really do have this condescension where
- 26:51Speaker 3: they look at garbage truck drivers like their garbage, like
- 26:55Speaker 3: they're just But they also expect them to vote for him.
- 26:58Speaker 3: I mean, it's the most amazing thing that they insult you.
- 27:03Speaker 3: Mind you likewise, Kamala and Biden and Hillary, they expect
- 27:06Speaker 3: every woman in America to vote for her, even while
- 27:11Speaker 3: they insult you and say, if you're a woman and
- 27:13Speaker 3: you're voting for Trump, you're stupid your week and it's uh,
- 27:17Speaker 3: I got to say that that is not the strategy
- 27:20Speaker 3: of a winning campaign.
- 27:21Speaker 2: Well, let me ask you another question, and this is
- 27:25Speaker 2: about people that are really concerned about the election coming up.
- 27:29Speaker 2: And we are now got a headline and there's two
- 27:32Speaker 2: parts of this headline that will drive you insane. Number one,
- 27:36Speaker 2: a Chinese foreign exchange student has been charged with multiple crimes.
- 27:41Speaker 2: That's good news for illegally voting in Michigan on Sunday.
- 27:46Speaker 2: Now again the headline there, you would think to yourself, well,
- 27:50Speaker 2: this is great news. We had a guy that was
- 27:52Speaker 2: illegally voting. We caught him.
- 27:54Speaker 1: It's not going to count.
- 27:56Speaker 2: The problem is Michigan can't and won't disqualify an a
- 28:01Speaker 2: legal vote cast by this Chinese national because quote it's
- 28:05Speaker 2: already been put through a tabulator, so Michigan says, hey,
- 28:10Speaker 2: it counts. So there is someone that's going to show
- 28:13Speaker 2: up in vote in Michigan and their voter is going
- 28:15Speaker 2: to be canceled out by a Chinese foreign exchange student
- 28:19Speaker 2: that has been charged with multiple crimes for illegally voting.
- 28:23Speaker 1: But it still gets canceled out.
- 28:24Speaker 2: And yet Democrats are still sitting there saying it's racist.
- 28:28Speaker 2: If you say you have to show an ID before
- 28:30Speaker 2: you vote.
- 28:32Speaker 3: Well, it's infuriating. And understand why this happened. This happened
- 28:37Speaker 3: because the Democrats in Michigan passed a law, Their voter
- 28:40Speaker 3: ID law allows people to show a current student photo
- 28:44Speaker 3: ID card from an educational institution in order to vote. Now,
- 28:49Speaker 3: the only problem is you don't have to be an
- 28:52Speaker 3: American citizen to get a student ID. In this case,
- 28:55Speaker 3: you had a Chinese national who was from China. He
- 28:57Speaker 3: had a student ID. It could be a student that's allowed,
- 29:02Speaker 3: but Chinese nationals are not allowed to vote in American elections.
- 29:07Speaker 3: And yet this individual did so. He voted while it
- 29:11Speaker 3: was illegal. Two charges against a nineteen year old student.
- 29:15Speaker 3: He was not identified, but he is not a US
- 29:17Speaker 3: citizen and he's being charged. And the reason that this
- 29:21Speaker 3: is happening is because Democrats don't want you actually to
- 29:27Speaker 3: have to prove you're a citizen. You know, there was
- 29:29Speaker 3: legislation called the Save Act, the Save Act. They voted
- 29:33Speaker 3: on it in the House of Representatives and the Democrats
- 29:37Speaker 3: on essentially a straight party line vote. Democrat after Democrat
- 29:41Speaker 3: after Democrat voted no. The Save Act was very simple.
- 29:43Speaker 3: It said, you have to demonstrate, you have to prove
- 29:45Speaker 3: you're a citizen in order to register to vote. It's
- 29:47Speaker 3: common sense. And yet part of one of the reasons
- 29:51Speaker 3: the Democrats voted no is they claimed, oh, this is
- 29:54Speaker 3: not a problem, no non citizens vote. Well, tell that
- 29:57Speaker 3: to the Chinese national who just voted in Michigan. And
- 30:00Speaker 3: furiatingly enough, the Michigan officials say, oh, and by the way,
- 30:03Speaker 3: his vote's gonna cast it's easy illegal. He can't vote legally,
- 30:07Speaker 3: and yet we've already tabulated his vote. That's what the
- 30:10Speaker 3: Michigan officials are saying. And I'll tell you, I'll bet
- 30:13Speaker 3: you a large sum of money, Ben that the candidate
- 30:16Speaker 3: he voted for rhymes with Hamla karras. And yet magically
- 30:21Speaker 3: that's going to be included in the vote allies for Michigan,
- 30:25Speaker 3: one of the key swing states. And that's sadly an
- 30:31Speaker 3: outcome I think the Democrats want.
- 30:33Speaker 1: Well, let's go back to the Save Act for a moment.
- 30:36Speaker 2: And this I've heard and had more people come up
- 30:40Speaker 2: to me, and I'm assuming you have as well, But
- 30:43Speaker 2: I'm interested to see where people say, man, I feel
- 30:45Speaker 2: like we're going to win this one.
- 30:47Speaker 1: I feel like we're on good footing.
- 30:48Speaker 2: I feel like moments this way, unless they cheat, unless
- 30:52Speaker 2: they unless something happens where they cheat. You get a
- 30:55Speaker 2: story like this and you see that the person was
- 30:58Speaker 2: caught voting legally. Everybody knows the legal next sorry, it
- 31:02Speaker 2: already went through the tabulator. We can't take it out now,
- 31:04Speaker 2: so it's going to count. This is why so many Americans,
- 31:08Speaker 2: I think now, have no confidence in our election system.
- 31:12Speaker 2: And again, this goes back to what you guys try
- 31:15Speaker 2: to do in Congress with a Save Act. Remind people
- 31:19Speaker 2: of how simple that would have been for us to
- 31:22Speaker 2: be able to protect the votes of American citizens.
- 31:27Speaker 3: It was a simple requirement that you have to demonstrate
- 31:30Speaker 3: American citizenship to register to vote. And that's basic common sense,
- 31:34Speaker 3: which is why the Democrats as a party are against it.
- 31:37Speaker 3: If they don't want non citizens to vote, why are
- 31:41Speaker 3: they opposed to demonstrating you're a citizen before you register
- 31:45Speaker 3: to vote. The answer is obvious. But look, here's the
- 31:49Speaker 3: good news. The good news is, historically voter fraud is
- 31:52Speaker 3: only mattered at the margins. It's only mattered when it
- 31:55Speaker 3: was close, which means in states across this country, particularly
- 31:59Speaker 3: swing states Michigan, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, we got to win by
- 32:03Speaker 3: a big enough margin they can't steal it. Will you
- 32:06Speaker 3: see unscrupulous Democrats trying to steal votes? Absolutely, it has
- 32:10Speaker 3: happened every election for as long as we've had elections.
- 32:13Speaker 3: But the best way a we should do what we
- 32:16Speaker 3: can to fight it and prevent it be we should
- 32:18Speaker 3: pass laws to make it more difficult.
- 32:20Speaker 1: But we're four days out.
- 32:22Speaker 3: The real answer now is that we need to turn
- 32:24Speaker 3: voters out in every state in the country and win
- 32:27Speaker 3: by such a big margin that nobody can steal the result.
- 32:31Speaker 3: As Trump puts it, make it too big to rig.
- 32:33Speaker 3: That's got to be at this point. That has got
- 32:36Speaker 3: to be the number one approach, no.
- 32:38Speaker 1: Doubt about it. I want to tell you about Berna.
- 32:40Speaker 2: If you are like me and you want to make
- 32:42Speaker 2: sure you can protect and defend your family, then you're
- 32:45Speaker 2: going to love what I'm about to tell you, especially
- 32:47Speaker 2: if you have a daughter that's living by yourself or
- 32:50Speaker 2: headed off to college. Maybe you have a loved one
- 32:53Speaker 2: that doesn't feel comfor with a firearm or works in
- 32:56Speaker 2: a place or it goes to a place where you
- 32:58Speaker 2: cannot have a firearm. There is another option, and it
- 33:02Speaker 2: is called Berna less lethal. It is amazing how Burna
- 33:07Speaker 2: can save not just your life, but the life of
- 33:10Speaker 2: someone else. It's a great compliment. I want to be
- 33:12Speaker 2: clear to owning a firearm, and if you or your
- 33:15Speaker 2: family is in a situation where you feel threatened, you
- 33:17Speaker 2: need to start with less lethal and Berna is legal
- 33:21Speaker 2: in all fifty states. There are no permits or background
- 33:25Speaker 2: checks needed. Now I own this myself, and I got
- 33:29Speaker 2: them for my wife or my sister in law, my
- 33:31Speaker 2: mother in law, my mom, and my sister. That's how
- 33:34Speaker 2: much I was like, Yes, this makes sense. This is
- 33:38Speaker 2: a no brainer after I use it the first time.
- 33:41Speaker 2: Burna is the answer because it's designed for easy use
- 33:44Speaker 2: by all age groups eighteen and older. The Burno launcher
- 33:47Speaker 2: has powerful deterrence like tear gas and kinetic rounds with
- 33:52Speaker 2: a sixty foot range. One shot can incapacitate an attacker
- 33:56Speaker 2: for up to forty minutes. So I love this more than,
- 33:59Speaker 2: for example, a taser, or more than than a you know.
- 34:04Speaker 2: Let's say you get somebody really close to you and
- 34:06Speaker 2: you use pepper spray. This can put sixty feet between
- 34:10Speaker 2: you and your attacker. It's used by government agencies and
- 34:14Speaker 2: law enforcement around the country and they have over five
- 34:18Speaker 2: hundred thousand units that are sold more than fourteen thousand
- 34:22Speaker 2: four and a half star reviews as well. So I
- 34:24Speaker 2: want you to visit Berna dot com. That's by r
- 34:29Speaker 2: in a dot com slash verdict. That's by RNA dot
- 34:35Speaker 2: com slash verdict. Why do you go there? You're gonna
- 34:38Speaker 2: get ten percent off your purchase. That's by r NA
- 34:42Speaker 2: dot com slash verdict. For ten percent off by RNA
- 34:46Speaker 2: dot com slash verdict. Senator, final question for you, and
- 34:51Speaker 2: this is a election question. There is massive early voting
- 34:56Speaker 2: numbers that are coming in around the country. Two thoughts
- 35:02Speaker 2: on this. And we see that women in swing states
- 35:04Speaker 2: are outpacing men by about ten percent when it comes
- 35:09Speaker 2: to the votes that are coming in early voting. Democrats
- 35:13Speaker 2: say this is great. It means that women are showing
- 35:16Speaker 2: up and they're voting on the issue of abortion, which
- 35:18Speaker 2: means they're going to vote for Kamwa Harris and other Democrats.
- 35:21Speaker 2: And then there's others that say, hold on a second,
- 35:23Speaker 2: not so fast. Conservatives are voting earlier now, and a
- 35:27Speaker 2: lot of single mothers may be voting early, and a
- 35:30Speaker 2: lot of mothers are struggling with the economy. What is
- 35:33Speaker 2: your gut on this, because I don't think it's a
- 35:35Speaker 2: bunch of people showing up on the abortion issue.
- 35:39Speaker 3: Well, look, I think it probably varies state by state,
- 35:42Speaker 3: and so I don't know the data. In the swing states.
- 35:47Speaker 3: I will say right now, there is a real and
- 35:49Speaker 3: meaningful gender gap in terms of the votes that if
- 35:53Speaker 3: you look at it, Republicans right now are winning married men,
- 35:57Speaker 3: Republicans are winning single men, and Republicans are winning married women. However,
- 36:03Speaker 3: Republicans are badly losing single women, that is in terms
- 36:07Speaker 3: of national polling. So one of the questions that I
- 36:12Speaker 3: would have, and this is where it's hard to generalize
- 36:15Speaker 3: from data without knowing specifics, but I would be very
- 36:18Speaker 3: interested in the states where you're seeing a significantly larger
- 36:21Speaker 3: number of women than men showing up early. I would
- 36:24Speaker 3: be very interested in the breakdown between married, married women
- 36:27Speaker 3: and single women, because there's a significant difference in their
- 36:30Speaker 3: voting pattern. I can tell you also, at least in
- 36:33Speaker 3: the state of Texas where early voting is happening, we're
- 36:36Speaker 3: not seeing a significant differential between women and men. We're
- 36:39Speaker 3: seeing about equal numbers of both voting in the state
- 36:42Speaker 3: of Texas. I don't know about the other states. I
- 36:44Speaker 3: haven't studied the numbers there, but it is difficult to generalize. Look,
- 36:49Speaker 3: it's possible if you get a bunch of single women
- 36:53Speaker 3: who are voting Democrats showing up in large numbers, that
- 36:56Speaker 3: is a good data point for Kamala Harris. I don't
- 36:58Speaker 3: know if that's the case or not. It may be
- 37:00Speaker 3: that you have a bunch of conservative women. Do you
- 37:02Speaker 3: have a bunch of married women who are coming out
- 37:04Speaker 3: to vote for Donald Trump. You were right that Republicans
- 37:07Speaker 3: are voting early and significantly greater frequency than they did previously,
- 37:12Speaker 3: and I think one of the big reasons for that
- 37:14Speaker 3: is that Trump asked them to. In the Republican Party
- 37:17Speaker 3: is making a very concerted effort to encourage people to
- 37:20Speaker 3: vote early. So that one data point on its own,
- 37:24Speaker 3: it's hard to generalize about. You really need to drill
- 37:27Speaker 3: down more deeply into the data.
- 37:29Speaker 2: It's going to be a tight one. It's a reminder
- 37:31Speaker 2: go out and vote. It is a very important election.
- 37:36Speaker 2: Wherever you are in the country. Do not wait to
- 37:38Speaker 2: the last moment, get out there and vote wherever you can.
- 37:42Speaker 2: And what's crazy is we've just got one more show
