- 0:01Speaker 1: Over the past two hundred and fifty years. We're going
- 0:04Speaker 1: to have a big, big celebration, as you know, two
- 0:07Speaker 1: hundred and fifty years. In some ways, I'm glad I
- 0:10Speaker 1: missed that second term where it was because I wouldn't
- 0:13Speaker 1: be your president for that most important of all. In addition,
- 0:17Speaker 1: we have the World Cup and we have the Olympics.
- 0:20Speaker 1: Can you imagine I missed that four years and now
- 0:23Speaker 1: look what I have. I have everything amazing the way
- 0:26Speaker 1: things worked out.
- 0:28Speaker 2: You're listening to the forty seven Morning Update with Ben ferguson.
- 0:31Speaker 3: Good Wednesday morning.
- 0:32Speaker 4: Nice to have you with us on the forty seven
- 0:34Speaker 4: Morning Update, and here are the three big stories that
- 0:36Speaker 4: you need to know about to start your day. First up,
- 0:39Speaker 4: the FEDS have pulled the COVID vaccine from recommendations for
- 0:44Speaker 4: healthy children and healthy pregnant women. Don't worry the media
- 0:49Speaker 4: freaking out over this decision and the left saying everyone
- 0:53Speaker 4: is anti vax around Donald Trump.
- 0:55Speaker 3: We'll give you the actual details.
- 0:57Speaker 4: Of what was said by RFK Junior and other and
- 1:00Speaker 4: you'll be surprised to learn that yet again, the media
- 1:03Speaker 4: is lying to you. Up next, poll numbers looking great
- 1:07Speaker 4: for Donald Trump as he's maintaining a two month high.
- 1:12Speaker 4: This is The President also goes on offense and says,
- 1:15Speaker 4: remember some of the stuff that they kind of just
- 1:17Speaker 4: made go away in the last administration, like who was
- 1:20Speaker 4: actually running the country or what was going on with.
- 1:23Speaker 3: The cocaine at the White House.
- 1:25Speaker 4: Well, the President says, it's time to look at all
- 1:28Speaker 4: of that again. I'll have those details that'll make you
- 1:31Speaker 4: smile in just a second. And finally, President Trump, yet
- 1:34Speaker 4: again proving he wasn't joking when he said he was
- 1:37Speaker 4: going to be looking at where your tax dollars are going.
- 1:40Speaker 4: This time, he says it's time to cut off the
- 1:43Speaker 4: funding to Harvard, and Harvard is now fighting back. We'll
- 1:48Speaker 4: have that and how much money it could save you
- 1:51Speaker 4: in just a second. But first, before we get to
- 1:53Speaker 4: those stories, I want to tell you about the International
- 1:55Speaker 4: Fellowship of Christians and Jews, and we are seeing something
- 1:58Speaker 4: truly disturbing. Anti Semitism is on the rise, not only
- 2:02Speaker 4: around the world, but sadly right here in America. Jewish
- 2:05Speaker 4: schools are being targeted, synagogues are being threatened, and families
- 2:10Speaker 4: living in fear is a real thing in the Jewish community.
- 2:14Speaker 4: It's something we hoped we'd never see again in our lifetime,
- 2:16Speaker 4: but unfortunately, it's what's happening right now. And that's why
- 2:20Speaker 4: it's not an option to be silent. It's a time
- 2:23Speaker 4: for us to take a stand. And that's why I
- 2:26Speaker 4: want you to stand with the International Fellowship of Christians
- 2:28Speaker 4: and Jews. They're on the front lines providing real help
- 2:32Speaker 4: where it's needed the most. They're literally giving food and
- 2:35Speaker 4: shelter to Jewish families under threat. They're building bomb shelters
- 2:39Speaker 4: for children and helping survivors of hate rebuild their lives.
- 2:44Speaker 4: And they don't just respond to crisis, they work every
- 2:47Speaker 4: day to prevent it from happening. And that is where
- 2:50Speaker 4: your simple gift of only forty five dollars will help
- 2:53Speaker 4: support life saving work by helping provide food, shelter, and
- 2:58Speaker 4: so much more. The Bible is pretty clear, it says
- 3:02Speaker 4: I will bless those who bless you, and supporting the
- 3:06Speaker 4: IFCJ is a spiritual stand and it's showing up for
- 3:10Speaker 4: God's people when it counts. So, if you're ready to
- 3:13Speaker 4: stand with the people of Israel, call the IFCJ right now.
- 3:17Speaker 3: Eight A eight four eight eight IFCJ. That's eight eight
- 3:22Speaker 3: eight four eight eight.
- 3:24Speaker 4: Four three two five, or give securely online at IFCJ
- 3:29Speaker 4: dot org.
- 3:30Speaker 3: Every dollar helps.
- 3:31Speaker 4: Don't wait be the difference if CJ dot org or
- 3:35Speaker 4: eight eight eight for eight eight IFCJ. It's the forty
- 3:40Speaker 4: seven Morning Update and it starts right now, story number one.
- 3:44Speaker 3: If you want to know.
- 3:45Speaker 4: How easy it is to get the radical f to
- 3:48Speaker 4: lose their minds, all you got to do is do
- 3:50Speaker 4: what the US Health Secretary Robert F. Kenny Junior did yesterday,
- 3:57Speaker 4: announcing the removal of routine COVID nineteen vaccination recommendations four
- 4:04Speaker 4: number one healthy children and number two pregnant women from
- 4:08Speaker 4: the CDC's immunization schedule. Now, to be clear, he didn't
- 4:13Speaker 4: ban the COVID vaccine or booster. He didn't ban any
- 4:16Speaker 4: other vaccines either, But the left is saying that is
- 4:20Speaker 4: exactly what he decided to do.
- 4:23Speaker 3: Take a listen to rfk Junior in his own words.
- 4:26Speaker 5: Hi, everybody, I'm Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Your age age
- 4:29Speaker 5: as the Secretary, and I'm here today with NIH Director
- 4:33Speaker 5: doctor J. Bodicharia and FDA Commissioner doctor Marty McCarey. I
- 4:38Speaker 5: couldn't be more pleased to announce that, as of today,
- 4:42Speaker 5: the COVID vaccine for healthy children and healthy pregnant women
- 4:46Speaker 5: has been removed from the CDC Recommended immunization schedule. Last year,
- 4:53Speaker 5: the Biden administration urged healthy children to get yet another
- 4:56Speaker 5: COVID shot, despite the lack of any political data to
- 5:00Speaker 5: support the repeat booster strategy in children.
- 5:03Speaker 3: That ends today. It's common sense, that's good science.
- 5:07Speaker 6: There's no evidence healthy kids need it today, and most
- 5:10Speaker 6: countries have stopped recommending it for children.
- 5:13Speaker 5: We're now one step closer to realizing President Trump's promise
- 5:17Speaker 5: to make America healthy again.
- 5:20Speaker 4: Make America healthy again. That was the promise of Donald Trump.
- 5:23Speaker 4: Now let's be clear also about the facts. In this announcement.
- 5:27Speaker 4: The US is now joining several other nations in tailoring
- 5:32Speaker 4: COVID nineteen vaccination strategies to prioritize high risk groups, potentially
- 5:38Speaker 4: streamlining public health efforts. There's also an emphasis on data
- 5:43Speaker 4: driven decisions. The FDA commissioner there you heard, highlight the
- 5:48Speaker 4: lack of evidence supporting the need for routine COVID nineteen
- 5:51Speaker 4: vaccinations in healthy children, suggesting a move towards more evidence
- 5:57Speaker 4: based recommendations, and they also talked about resource optimization. By
- 6:03Speaker 4: concentrating vaccination resources on populations most at risk, such as
- 6:09Speaker 4: older adults and individuals with underlying health conditions, the health
- 6:13Speaker 4: care system may enhance its efficiency and effectiveness in combating
- 6:17Speaker 4: COVID nineteen. Also because of this move and finally, increasing
- 6:23Speaker 4: public autonomy, the policy change will empower individuals as well
- 6:29Speaker 4: as families to make personalized health decisions regarding COVID nineteen
- 6:34Speaker 4: vaccinations moving forward. The administration says this will foster a
- 6:39Speaker 4: sense of autonomy and trust in public health directives again
- 6:44Speaker 4: after so many Americans lost faith in the system completely,
- 6:48Speaker 4: especially with the mandates and the lack of the effectiveness
- 6:51Speaker 4: of the COVID nineteen vaccine schedule. Our FK Junior make
- 6:56Speaker 4: it clear this is part of Donald Trump's plan to
- 6:59Speaker 4: make a mayor Ceria healthy again.
- 7:01Speaker 3: Next story number two.
- 7:02Speaker 4: Donald Trump's approval rating is now maintaining a two month high. Yes,
- 7:08Speaker 4: the media has done everything they can to bring down
- 7:11Speaker 4: Donald Trump's approval rating, but it doesn't seem to be working,
- 7:14Speaker 4: as the American people seem to be listening to the
- 7:17Speaker 4: media like it as white noise. And on Tuesday, the
- 7:21Speaker 4: economists and UGUB published their determination of President Donald Trump's
- 7:24Speaker 4: approval rating outlining then among US adults between May the
- 7:29Speaker 4: twenty third and twenty six, forty four percent approved of
- 7:33Speaker 4: the job that Donald Trump is doing as president. And
- 7:37Speaker 4: then if you look at Newsweek, the results from the
- 7:40Speaker 4: publication reflected also a two month high for its polling.
- 7:45Speaker 4: Rasmussen also as Trump at fifty to fifty one percent
- 7:48Speaker 4: approval rating firm the Memorial Day weekend. The approval rating
- 7:52Speaker 4: is inching up because the economy has stabilized and Trump
- 7:56Speaker 4: has put a pause on his most draconian tariffs which
- 8:00Speaker 4: were unpopular. That is what Dular University professor Robert Collins
- 8:05Speaker 4: said in a backhanded compliment to Newsweek about Donald Trump.
- 8:10Speaker 3: You can't make it up. Even when his approval.
- 8:12Speaker 4: Rating is up, they still got to figure out a
- 8:14Speaker 4: way to bring him down. So what does this mean
- 8:17Speaker 4: for the White House moving forward? Well, the White House
- 8:20Speaker 4: Press Secretary went on Sean Hannity's show on Fox News
- 8:24Speaker 4: Channel and had this to say about the present's approval
- 8:27Speaker 4: rating and what he's going to do when it comes
- 8:29Speaker 4: to moving forward running the country, and also looking back
- 8:33Speaker 4: at things that happened during the Biden administration and asking
- 8:37Speaker 4: basic questions like who is actually running the government because
- 8:41Speaker 4: it wasn't Joe Biden.
- 8:44Speaker 3: Well, that rasped me some pole.
- 8:45Speaker 7: You refer to the percentage of Americans who say the
- 8:48Speaker 7: country's on the right track is the highest number that
- 8:52Speaker 7: they have surveyed in their twenty nine year polling history,
- 8:56Speaker 7: which I found significant. Let me ask you about the
- 8:59Speaker 7: TRUMPBI reopening investigations into the Supreme Court abortion decision leak,
- 9:05Speaker 7: the Biden White House cocaine scandal that lasted a whopping
- 9:08Speaker 7: what ten days, and the January sixth pipe bomber mystery.
- 9:13Speaker 7: It seems like the administration is going back and getting
- 9:17Speaker 7: to the bottom of some unfinished business.
- 9:19Speaker 8: Yes, all of those announcements coming from the FBI cash Ptel,
- 9:22Speaker 8: and of course our great Attorney General Pam Bondi, who
- 9:25Speaker 8: is committed to the truth sean, just like the President
- 9:28Speaker 8: Trump and his entire administration, and committed to an unprecedented
- 9:32Speaker 8: level of access and transparency that is led by President
- 9:35Speaker 8: Trump at the White House. Every day he takes questions
- 9:38Speaker 8: from the press. He talks directly and honestly and candidly
- 9:42Speaker 8: about the problems and the challenges he is solving, not
- 9:45Speaker 8: just here at home but also abroad, and he's demanding answers.
- 9:49Speaker 8: And one of the things he is going to continue
- 9:50Speaker 8: to push for answers on is who the heck was
- 9:52Speaker 8: running the country.
- 9:53Speaker 3: Over the past four years.
- 9:54Speaker 8: And you just talked about it in your monologue, and
- 9:57Speaker 8: I'm glad to hear it, because this is truly the
- 9:59Speaker 8: great latest political scandal our country has ever seen. We
- 10:03Speaker 8: had unelected radical left White House staffers who nobody knew
- 10:08Speaker 8: their names, running the most powerful country in the history
- 10:12Speaker 8: of the world, and the Democrat Party was in a
- 10:15Speaker 8: complete alliance to cover it up, and the mainstream media
- 10:18Speaker 8: was right along with them. They were asking Joe Biden
- 10:20Speaker 8: what his favorite ice cream was rather than asking him
- 10:23Speaker 8: whether or not he was suited to run the country.
- 10:26Speaker 8: And so we need answers on what took place over
- 10:28Speaker 8: the past four years, because look at the consequences of
- 10:31Speaker 8: having these unelected radical left wing saffers in the West
- 10:34Speaker 8: wing running the country. We had a wide open border
- 10:37Speaker 8: invasion that this administration is cleaning up every day despite
- 10:40Speaker 8: challenges from the courts. We had an economy that was
- 10:43Speaker 8: left in the dust.
- 10:45Speaker 4: You just heard the White House Press Secretary say Donald
- 10:47Speaker 4: Trump is going to push for answers on who is
- 10:50Speaker 4: running the country during Biden's presidency. Now, all of this
- 10:55Speaker 4: relates back to the numerous books that are now coming out,
- 10:58Speaker 4: including the original Sin and the book by Jake Tapper
- 11:03Speaker 4: that alleges that President Biden's cognitive decline was concealed by
- 11:07Speaker 4: his inner circle, suggesting that a group of top aides
- 11:11Speaker 4: effectively manage the administration's day to day operations. Another way
- 11:15Speaker 4: of putting that is they were running the country and
- 11:17Speaker 4: they were elected by no one. Tapper even compared this
- 11:21Speaker 4: alleged cover up to the Watergate scandal, emphasizing the seriousness
- 11:26Speaker 4: of the claims. Now, further reports are also indicating during
- 11:30Speaker 4: Biden's presidency there were five at senior aids that were
- 11:35Speaker 4: primarily responsible for a significant amount of decision making, with
- 11:40Speaker 4: Biden serving more as a figurehead than anything else. Now,
- 11:44Speaker 4: these revelations have spark discussions about transparency and accountability within
- 11:49Speaker 4: the previous administration of exactly who was really the acting president. Now,
- 11:55Speaker 4: while these accounts have led to public debate and scrutiny,
- 11:58Speaker 4: this is the first time we're hearing the White House
- 12:01Speaker 4: say that they're going to push for answers. Now, is
- 12:04Speaker 4: there a formal investigation by the Trump administration into these matters.
- 12:08Speaker 4: At the moment, no, but this certainly could lead to one,
- 12:12Speaker 4: as the White House is now signaling that the American
- 12:14Speaker 4: people deserve to have answers and most importantly need to
- 12:19Speaker 4: know and should know who was running the country. There's
- 12:23Speaker 4: also the question of the auto pen and many of
- 12:26Speaker 4: the pardons that were given out by Joe Biden. Did
- 12:30Speaker 4: he even know that it was happening?
- 12:32Speaker 3: Did he have.
- 12:33Speaker 4: Any clue at all what was going on? And we
- 12:36Speaker 4: also know that many around Biden that were propping him up,
- 12:39Speaker 4: we're apparently doing it just for the money.
- 12:42Speaker 3: That's right.
- 12:42Speaker 4: Many of the key advisors around Joe Biden's campaign were
- 12:46Speaker 4: making millions of dollars. They didn't want him to end
- 12:49Speaker 4: the campaign. They wanted him to keep running so they
- 12:52Speaker 4: could keep getting paid. So there were some people that
- 12:55Speaker 4: were just making cash. There were others that were getting
- 12:58Speaker 4: to literally play pressident. And what does Kamway Harris have
- 13:02Speaker 4: to say about all this, Well, she had another word
- 13:05Speaker 4: salad and decided to take some swipes at Elon Musk
- 13:08Speaker 4: and Donald Trump, saying, remember the nineteen thirties, in reference
- 13:14Speaker 4: to Nazi Germany, and Adolf Hitler.
- 13:17Speaker 3: I wish I was joking. Here she is in her
- 13:20Speaker 3: own words.
- 13:21Speaker 9: I do worry, frankly about what's happening right now in
- 13:28Speaker 9: our world. I do worry that it is important that
- 13:37Speaker 9: we remember history.
- 13:39Speaker 10: It's important we remember the nineteen thirties. It's important that
- 13:44Speaker 10: we remember that history has taught us that isolation does
- 13:49Speaker 10: not equal insolation. It is important that we understand and
- 13:55Speaker 10: remember history, which taught us the interdependence and interconnection between nations,
- 14:05Speaker 10: history that has taught us the important relationships of trust.
- 14:10Speaker 4: So the same woman that helped cover up the massive
- 14:12Speaker 4: cognitive decline of the President of the United States of America,
- 14:15Speaker 4: Joe Biden, the same woman that was elected by no one,
- 14:19Speaker 4: who ended up being the party's nominee that no one
- 14:22Speaker 4: actually voted for, is now saying don't look at what
- 14:25Speaker 4: we were doing.
- 14:26Speaker 3: No, no, no, We're going to.
- 14:28Speaker 4: Tell you that Donald Trump's administration is no different than
- 14:31Speaker 4: Nazi Germany and Adolf Hitler.
- 14:34Speaker 3: You remember the nineteen thirties.
- 14:37Speaker 4: It is truly amazing to watch the Left do everything
- 14:40Speaker 4: they can to cover up their corruption at the White
- 14:43Speaker 4: House for the last four years.
- 14:45Speaker 2: And finally, story number three It's.
- 14:47Speaker 3: A pretty simple idea.
- 14:49Speaker 4: If you hate the United States of America, why should
- 14:52Speaker 4: we let you come to America's universities, especially if you're
- 14:55Speaker 4: advocating for violence against Jewish students or even a American students. Well,
- 15:01Speaker 4: the Trump administration has now intensified its actions against Harvard
- 15:06Speaker 4: University by directing federal agencies to cancel or redirect contracts
- 15:12Speaker 4: worth approximately one hundred million dollars now. This move follows
- 15:17Speaker 4: earlier measures, including the freezing of over two point six
- 15:21Speaker 4: billion in federal research grants citing concerns over the university's
- 15:26Speaker 4: policies and campus climate. Now, the aspects of the policy
- 15:31Speaker 4: change are actually very simple. The reallocation of resources is
- 15:36Speaker 4: number one. The administration's decision aims to redirect substantial federal
- 15:41Speaker 4: funds to institutions that align more closely with its policy objectives,
- 15:46Speaker 4: potentially benefiting trade schools and other educational entities. They also
- 15:52Speaker 4: say there's an emphasis on accountability. By scrutinizing Harvard's use
- 15:56Speaker 4: of federal funds, the administration underscores the importance of account
- 15:59Speaker 4: of ability and also adherence to national standards and higher
- 16:03Speaker 4: education institutions, and then the promotion of diverse educational opportunities.
- 16:09Speaker 4: The potential redistribution of funds, the White House say, may
- 16:12Speaker 4: enhance vocational and technological training programs, offering countless students alternative
- 16:19Speaker 4: pathways to successful careers without the traditional university route and
- 16:24Speaker 4: or going to an.
- 16:25Speaker 3: Ivy League school.
- 16:27Speaker 4: There's also the encouragement of institutional self reliance. The funding
- 16:32Speaker 4: cuts may prompt elite universities, they say, to seek greater
- 16:35Speaker 4: financial independence, foster innovation efficiency, and management resources. Now, these
- 16:42Speaker 4: actions are sparking legal challenges as the universities are angry
- 16:46Speaker 4: over what's happening. But at the end of the day,
- 16:49Speaker 4: the White House also says this comes down to another issue,
- 16:53Speaker 4: and that is, are we actually encouraging students from around
- 16:56Speaker 4: the world to come to the US that love America
- 16:59Speaker 4: and do it want to be a part of the process,
- 17:02Speaker 4: or are tax dollars going to students that actually hate America?
- 17:06Speaker 4: And that brings up the State Department pausing visa interviews
- 17:11Speaker 4: as Trump moves to cancel Harvard's last federal contracts. Here's
- 17:16Speaker 4: more of that story as CNN freaked out over it news.
- 17:20Speaker 6: And a major escalation in the Trump administration's fights against
- 17:23Speaker 6: America's universities, the State Department pausing all new student visa
- 17:28Speaker 6: application interviews, and while that pause is in place, the
- 17:31Speaker 6: government is developing new guidance for social media screenings of
- 17:34Speaker 6: foreign students who want to study in the US. This
- 17:37Speaker 6: cause to the White House moves to cancel all remaining
- 17:39Speaker 6: federal contracts with Harvard. Two senior administration officials Telsenn that
- 17:43Speaker 6: those contracts are worth about one hundred million dollars. This
- 17:47Speaker 6: on top of more than two billion dollars in grants
- 17:50Speaker 6: that the administration froze last month, and on Monday, the
- 17:53Speaker 6: President threatened to give that money to trade schools. Here's
- 17:56Speaker 6: Harvard's president in an interview that was taped before news
- 17:59Speaker 6: broke about those latest contract cancelations.
- 18:04Speaker 11: I don't know fully what the motivations are, but I
- 18:07Speaker 11: do know that there are people who are fighting a
- 18:12Speaker 11: cultural battle. I don't know if that is what is
- 18:15Speaker 11: driving the administration. They don't like what's happened to campuses,
- 18:21Speaker 11: and sometimes they don't like what we represent.
- 18:25Speaker 4: The Harvard president right there, going on MPR, which the
- 18:30Speaker 4: President's also trying to defund, complaining about the motives of
- 18:35Speaker 4: the Trump administration.
- 18:36Speaker 3: You can't make it up.
- 18:38Speaker 4: Donald Trump doesn't care, by the way, and he's moving
- 18:41Speaker 4: forward with protecting America's interests and your tax dours.
