- 1:55Speaker 4: Come come on, you'll think, uh, I sure will.
- 2:03Speaker 2: Hey, good morning everybody.
- 2:04Speaker 4: You're listening to the voice, Come on, dig me now,
- 2:08Speaker 4: one and only Steve Harvey got a radio show. I've
- 2:12Speaker 4: been saying it like that since I got it too.
- 2:15Speaker 4: All right, got a good one for you today. Yesterday
- 2:18Speaker 4: the other day, I was talking to you about the
- 2:21Speaker 4: most effective weapon available to us as human beings, I
- 2:24Speaker 4: think is prayer. I think prayer helps us in so
- 2:27Speaker 4: many ways. But right now, what I want to do
- 2:31Speaker 4: is I want to show you how prayer pays off.
- 2:35Speaker 4: I want to show you what good it can do
- 2:37Speaker 4: for you. Even me, I use it every day, and
- 2:41Speaker 4: the days I don't use it, I feel it that that,
- 2:45Speaker 4: you know, the days that I go, you know, without
- 2:47Speaker 4: talking to him as much, I notice it. I feel it.
- 2:50Speaker 4: I feel a certain kind of way, you know, those
- 2:54Speaker 4: that doubt starts slipping in again. That uneasy feeling of
- 2:57Speaker 4: uncertainty slips in again, that wondering what I'm gonna do
- 3:01Speaker 4: start slipping in again. Happens to me, It happens to everybody. Man,
- 3:05Speaker 4: I think, I really, really do you know, if people
- 3:07Speaker 4: would just keep it real with each other, stop being
- 3:11Speaker 4: this Christian this superman because you ain't you ain't there
- 3:16Speaker 4: a scripture that says that's none perfect, no, not one.
- 3:22Speaker 2: That's everybody, that cover all of us.
- 3:25Speaker 4: Though, so sometimes I think we're a little too hard
- 3:27Speaker 4: on each other with that too, seeing that's how we
- 3:31Speaker 4: not perfect. We immediately want to just just oh man,
- 3:35Speaker 4: you just want to kill when we find somebody do
- 3:38Speaker 4: something wrong. Bell If we go public, everything go public
- 3:40Speaker 4: now it called social media. But anyway, I just want
- 3:43Speaker 4: to talk to you about how prayer pays off. It's
- 3:47Speaker 4: called it all eye and money. People got money, call
- 3:51Speaker 4: it all eyes. So return on investment. People always looking
- 3:55Speaker 4: for a return on investment. You know, nobody, nobody in
- 3:58Speaker 4: business really gives you money without understanding the return on investment.
- 4:03Speaker 4: They don't even give money to charities unless they think
- 4:07Speaker 4: it can do something with the bottom line. A lot
- 4:09Speaker 4: of companies work like that. I found out out myself. Sad,
- 4:12Speaker 4: but it is true. So since everything is expected to
- 4:16Speaker 4: work on a return on investment, I assume because we're
- 4:19Speaker 4: human beings. So since we are human beings, whether you're
- 4:22Speaker 4: in business or not, you still in the business of living.
- 4:28Speaker 4: I think when you pray, you should expect a return
- 4:32Speaker 4: on your investment. You talk to it, you spend time
- 4:37Speaker 4: opening up to him. You bowed your head to him,
- 4:41Speaker 4: you humbled yourself, you got on your knees. I mean,
- 4:45Speaker 4: but really we talking God here. So really, what you're
- 4:47Speaker 4: doing ain't really about nothing. Be honest with you. A
- 4:50Speaker 4: little bit that you do do on his behalf. It
- 4:53Speaker 4: just pays in comparison with what he does. But let's
- 4:57Speaker 4: just say you want to call yourself invested, let me
- 5:00Speaker 4: show you how it pays off. This because see for me,
- 5:04Speaker 4: this is for me now, prayer pays off in different ways.
- 5:07Speaker 4: That's what I had to learn. See, I was praying,
- 5:10Speaker 4: but I was asking him specifically for what I wanted.
- 5:13Speaker 4: I had the audacity, though, to turn around and tell
- 5:17Speaker 4: him how to do what I wanted. That's amazing, man.
- 5:20Speaker 4: I can't tell you how many blessings I block come
- 5:22Speaker 4: in my way by putting my faith in what I
- 5:26Speaker 4: said I wanted and how I wanted him to do it.
- 5:29Speaker 4: I want you to give me this. I want that
- 5:32Speaker 4: person to go away. I want this person to accept
- 5:36Speaker 4: everything you say. Then I want to go over here
- 5:39Speaker 4: and I want this deal to happen like this, and
- 5:41Speaker 4: I want that person to just step aside and let
- 5:45Speaker 4: me through. And then I want that I was I
- 5:47Speaker 4: had it mapped out. God must have been chuckling really hard.
- 5:51Speaker 4: He had been gonna, boy, I made you to be funny.
- 5:54Speaker 4: But boy, you funny now, So you're gonna tell me
- 5:56Speaker 4: how to do it. And you've all heard this right here.
- 5:58Speaker 4: If you want to make God a telling me your plan,
- 6:01Speaker 4: well that's what I did. And that's how we pray.
- 6:04Speaker 4: A lot of times we pray, and we pray. In
- 6:07Speaker 4: the prayer, we're telling him how to work it out. Well,
- 6:11Speaker 4: here's the deal. This is what I've learned. Prayer pays
- 6:14Speaker 4: off in different ways. There's a different return of my
- 6:18Speaker 4: investment when I pray. See, sometimes when I'm praying for something,
- 6:23Speaker 4: a situation to dissolve itself or go away, sometimes I
- 6:28Speaker 4: get courage out of the prayer. Prayer provides me courage.
- 6:33Speaker 4: That's just to go on and look at it. I
- 6:36Speaker 4: guess face it.
- 6:39Speaker 7: Then.
- 6:40Speaker 4: Sometimes when I'm praying about a situation, sometimes prayer gives
- 6:45Speaker 4: me hanging power. Sometimes, man, it just I look up
- 6:49Speaker 4: and I'm just handling it better. Sometimes prayer gives you
- 6:54Speaker 4: laughing off power. Sometimes, man, you just got to laugh
- 6:58Speaker 4: it off whatever, Man, you trip it.
- 7:04Speaker 2: Do you know what that is?
- 7:06Speaker 4: If you could do that?
- 7:08Speaker 8: You know.
- 7:09Speaker 4: Sometimes it gives you a show of strength power. Sometimes
- 7:15Speaker 4: prayer allows you to have the appearance that you got
- 7:18Speaker 4: it all together. Nobody got to know the world winning.
- 7:22Speaker 4: The tornado, the hurricane that's swirling in your life, You
- 7:26Speaker 4: standing over that like the eye the hurricane, you just
- 7:28Speaker 4: and it's all swelling around you.
- 7:30Speaker 2: But you standing there like the eye, you just as calm.
- 7:33Speaker 4: That's what prayer does. So when you pray, man, it
- 7:37Speaker 4: builds up a lot of things in you. You know
- 7:40Speaker 4: what it's done for me. Prayer has built up character
- 7:42Speaker 4: in me. It's made me have more character because I'm
- 7:46Speaker 4: able to stand stronger on the things I say because
- 7:50Speaker 4: I've been praying, because I've been asking God for all
- 7:53Speaker 4: of those return of investments. I've been asking God for courage.
- 7:57Speaker 4: I've been asking God for hanging that power. I've been
- 8:00Speaker 4: asking him to give me the power to walk away.
- 8:03Speaker 4: I've asked him to give me ignored power. I've asked
- 8:06Speaker 4: him to help me laugh it off. I've asked him
- 8:08Speaker 4: to show me strength. But you know what I was doing,
- 8:10Speaker 4: I was really praying, not really for them things be
- 8:13Speaker 4: real with you. I was asking him to help me, Lord,
- 8:16Speaker 4: help me.
- 8:17Speaker 2: You ever done that?
- 8:17Speaker 4: You have asked God for help, and then all of
- 8:19Speaker 4: a sudden, the list of these things show up. See,
- 8:22Speaker 4: sometimes how you want the problem to be solved ain't
- 8:25Speaker 4: the best way. There's a lesson to be learned when
- 8:28Speaker 4: we make mistakes, and sometimes you got to stay in
- 8:30Speaker 4: that fire and you got to learn that lesson. But
- 8:33Speaker 4: guess what, though, when you come out of it, you're
- 8:36Speaker 4: gonna be better for it. You gonna know more about it.
- 8:39Speaker 4: Come on, y'all, pray.
- 8:41Speaker 2: He's solid. His word is true. It lasts forever.
- 8:43Speaker 4: He do what he said he gonna do now all day,
- 8:47Speaker 4: all night, twenty four seven. He do it all day,
- 8:51Speaker 4: all night, and then some more. His word don't ever change.
- 8:54Speaker 4: It's true. It works for me, It worked for you.
- 8:58Speaker 4: It worked for Jake's. It worked for Old Steam, It
- 9:01Speaker 4: worked for Kirk Franklin, It worked for Paula White, It
- 9:05Speaker 4: worked for Billy Graham, It worked for Mother Teresa, It
- 9:09Speaker 4: worked for Gandhy, It worked for the Princess Arabs. It worked, man,
- 9:15Speaker 4: it worked for you. What you're waiting for? Why don't
- 9:19Speaker 4: you put prayer in your game? Watch what happened to you?
- 9:22Speaker 4: You sitting in that jail cell and you struggling with it,
- 9:25Speaker 4: and they telling you blood in, blood out, you can't
- 9:27Speaker 4: get in you. That's foolishness, man, What you mean God
- 9:31Speaker 4: can get you out of anything. Look, man, if you
- 9:34Speaker 4: done read your Bible, he'd got some people on some
- 9:36Speaker 4: sticky situations. I don't know what you're talking about. If
- 9:38Speaker 4: Daniel was in the lions den and Jonah was in
- 9:41Speaker 4: the belly of the whale, what you're talking about? Where
- 9:43Speaker 4: you are? You just sitting in the cell with some
- 9:44Speaker 4: dudes around. You're talking about what they gonna do. Man,
- 9:46Speaker 4: you gotta be real. God can't nothing to do nothing.
- 9:49Speaker 4: Nobody can't nobody do nothing to you. God won't give
- 9:53Speaker 4: you the strength to handle prayer change his things.
- 9:56Speaker 1: Man, you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:03Speaker 4: Ladies and gentlemen, let me just try it this way
- 10:10Speaker 4: for you. Good morning, how's your day? Have you taken
- 10:14Speaker 4: a moment to thank God for it?
- 10:15Speaker 9: Chill?
- 10:16Speaker 4: Just mildly suggesting that you take a brief moment before
- 10:20Speaker 4: you start your day fully and tell God thank you
- 10:23Speaker 4: for all He's done for you. That will then open
- 10:26Speaker 4: up the heavens to pour out more blessings for you
- 10:31Speaker 4: to receive. Because once you show gratitude, that means you're thankful,
- 10:36Speaker 4: and so let me give you some more to be
- 10:39Speaker 4: thankful for. If you do not believe this, I would
- 10:44Speaker 4: dare you to try it and just see how it go.
- 10:49Speaker 4: Or just keep doing it like you've been doing it
- 10:51Speaker 4: and let me know how that go. This is Steve
- 10:55Speaker 4: Harvey Morning Show, Charley Strawberry calling for real, Missipi Moonica Jr.
- 10:59Speaker 2: And Legend of Nephew Thomas Junior.
- 11:01Speaker 10: Up.

- 11:05Speaker 12: You know Holidays is here, Thanksgiving coming up? You tell
- 11:08Speaker 12: us what can absolutely not happen at the Harvey House.
- 11:11Speaker 11: What can't happen?
- 11:13Speaker 4: You can't mess up Thanksgiving meal, you can't do it.

- 11:19Speaker 4: prepare for it. We don't want you coming in here

- 11:46Speaker 4: and we don't. We don't want it whip and then
- 11:50Speaker 4: marshmallows and put some crust down in it.
- 11:54Speaker 2: Man, what are we doing? H Yeah, man, I had one.
- 12:01Speaker 4: Of my nieces one time took a perfectly good sweet
- 12:06Speaker 4: potato pie, put it in a bowl and just mashed
- 12:13Speaker 4: it with a strainer, so it was like sweet potato pie.
- 12:18Speaker 4: Now it's a whip, but it's got bits of crust
- 12:21Speaker 4: in it. So she said, it's like eating a sweet
- 12:24Speaker 4: potato potato pie pudding with crushed chunks in it. If
- 12:31Speaker 4: you'd have seen how many times she got called a
- 12:36Speaker 4: helper on Thanksgiving. Hey, man, them aunts, they lit her up.
- 12:47Speaker 4: So it's all we're saying, is it's Thanksgiving. It's once
- 12:51Speaker 4: a year. Listen, just make it like we made it
- 12:56Speaker 4: last year. I look forward to Thanksgiving. I just I
- 13:02Speaker 4: just want what I had last year, per damn mass.
- 13:05Speaker 1: Once a year. Yeah, Green Yame mac.
- 13:11Speaker 4: Ghiblt Grave Ghibblet, clanberry sauce, whole beans and whole hole,

- 15:19Speaker 9: I'm trying to reach a Tanya. Please, Hi, Tanya. My
- 15:24Speaker 9: name is Daniel. I'm the head of store security here
- 15:27Speaker 9: at your job. Yah, listen, I'm trying to see I'm
- 15:33Speaker 9: gonna have to I know, today's your day off. I'm
- 15:34Speaker 9: looking at the schedule here. It seems that you don't
- 15:37Speaker 9: come back in until Saturday. I'm trying to see if
- 15:39Speaker 9: it's possible I can get you to come to the store.
- 15:42Speaker 9: There's a bit of a situation I want to discuss
- 15:44Speaker 9: with you. There's about eighteen hundred dollars worth of merchandise
- 15:48Speaker 9: missing from the store. Yeah, it's about eighteen hundred dollars
- 15:53Speaker 9: worth of merchandise. And we definitely know that this is
- 15:55Speaker 9: a in house situation. This is not someone walking in shoplifting.
- 16:00Speaker 9: This is definitely an in house situation with employees who
- 16:04Speaker 9: have evidently been shoplifting from the store, taking things, and
- 16:08Speaker 9: we want to get down to the to the roots
- 16:10Speaker 9: of the problem. Okay, so what you call them, well, ma'am,
- 16:14Speaker 9: it's uh. It's been brought to my attention that there's
- 16:17Speaker 9: a possibility that you may be part of this situation.
- 16:23Speaker 2: And I'm a situation.
- 16:24Speaker 14: I ain't no thief.
- 16:26Speaker 15: I don't steal.
- 16:28Speaker 14: You don't call my house accusing me of Still, I
- 16:30Speaker 14: ain't stole nothing from nobody.
- 16:32Speaker 2: Okay, well, my hang on, man, what I'm trying to
- 16:34Speaker 2: do is just trying to.
- 16:37Speaker 14: You, trying to say I instilled something and I ain't
- 16:39Speaker 14: stole them.
- 16:40Speaker 2: Okay, wait just a second. Now, do you have a
- 16:43Speaker 2: sister named Cynthia?
- 16:45Speaker 14: Yeah, what about it?
- 16:46Speaker 2: Well, now, it seems that here on.
- 16:49Speaker 9: Some of the footage that we have on camera that uh,
- 16:52Speaker 9: it's a possibility that it seems like your sister's actually
- 16:55Speaker 9: wearing some of the merchandise that we sell here in
- 16:58Speaker 9: the store.
- 16:59Speaker 1: And just because she.
- 17:00Speaker 14: Wears something that we sell in the store, don't mean
- 17:03Speaker 14: that I've stolen.
- 17:05Speaker 9: Well, we don't see where she's at. I've backed the
- 17:08Speaker 9: footage up as far as I could. I don't see
- 17:11Speaker 9: any footage of where she purchased this particular merchandise.
- 17:14Speaker 2: And my assumption is maybe you gave it to her.
- 17:17Speaker 14: I aint gave her, And just because you don't see
- 17:20Speaker 14: where somebody purchased it, don't mean that it's been stolen.
- 17:23Speaker 9: Okay, here's what I'm gonna ge. I'm gonna just get
- 17:26Speaker 9: to the chase of this Tanya. What I'm gonna have
- 17:28Speaker 9: to do is this if I can't get you to
- 17:31Speaker 9: come to the store.
- 17:32Speaker 2: Man.
- 17:33Speaker 9: And matter of fact, here's another question for you before
- 17:35Speaker 9: I go any further. You have children at al Tanya?
- 17:39Speaker 14: Yeah, I got children?
- 17:40Speaker 9: Why do you?
- 17:41Speaker 2: Is it possible? Because I'm missing a lot of baby
- 17:45Speaker 2: merchandise as well?
- 17:47Speaker 14: And you know what, you know what you really cruising
- 17:50Speaker 14: for this morning? Okay, because you don't call somebody on
- 17:54Speaker 14: the off they accusing them of stealing.
- 17:57Speaker 2: Okay, here's what I gotta do. Are you coming into
- 18:00Speaker 2: the office so I can talk with you.
- 18:02Speaker 14: I'm not coming nowhere on my off day.
- 18:05Speaker 9: Well, then what's gonna happen, Miss Tanya, is I'm gonna
- 18:09Speaker 9: have to actually come to your home, check your closets.
- 18:12Speaker 9: I'm gonna have to check your kids and see if
- 18:14Speaker 9: they will do what check and see if they're wearing merchandise.
- 18:16Speaker 2: That that comes from this.
- 18:18Speaker 14: Come to my house if you want to, and they
- 18:20Speaker 14: gonna take your somebody here in the body back me.
- 18:24Speaker 14: You heard what I said.
- 18:26Speaker 15: You heard what I said.
- 18:27Speaker 14: You don't call nobody. I bust my store. I bust
- 18:30Speaker 14: my store.
- 18:31Speaker 15: You understand me.
- 18:33Speaker 14: I work hard for y'all.
- 18:34Speaker 8: Okay, you've been busting.
- 18:36Speaker 14: You've been busting car here excusing me of stealing. I
- 18:39Speaker 14: ain't so from nobody. I don't have to steal. That's
- 18:43Speaker 14: why I work all day. You understand me.
- 18:45Speaker 9: I think you've been busting your butt. Taking stuff is
- 18:48Speaker 9: what you've been doing.
- 18:49Speaker 14: You've been from nobody. You understand me. I do not steal.
- 18:54Speaker 2: I'm gonna come over there. I'm checking your closets.
- 18:57Speaker 14: But it ain't no seat, you understand.
- 18:59Speaker 2: And I'm checking your babies as well.
- 19:01Speaker 14: And I'm making check my baby and see what happened.
- 19:03Speaker 14: You put your hands on any they ain't here, and
- 19:06Speaker 14: see what happened. Okay, I don't want to have to
- 19:09Speaker 14: drag your but we're here. Oh you're gonna drag somebody?

- 22:51Speaker 1: enough for him. We're running out of room at my place.
- 22:55Speaker 1: Why is he stalling? What is he not telling me?

- 23:08Speaker 4: that they got. Now where you can determine which house
- 23:11Speaker 4: you can afford with what down payment you need. Why
- 23:15Speaker 4: don't you sit down and ask him what he ain't
- 23:17Speaker 4: telling you, Ask him to show you the down payment,
- 23:19Speaker 4: how much y'all got? And then I had explained everything,
- 23:22Speaker 4: y'all might be in there for a while.
- 23:24Speaker 11: Okay, all right?
- 23:26Speaker 1: Moving on to Joseph in Brooklyn, Joseph writes, I may
- 23:29Speaker 1: or may not have told my buddy that a woman
- 23:32Speaker 1: I was with didn't smell too good. When word got
- 23:35Speaker 1: back to the woman, I denied saying it. My friend
- 23:39Speaker 1: is mad at me because he looks like a liar.

- 23:46Speaker 11: No?
- 23:47Speaker 4: Stay with it, dog, You ain't said nothing. You don't
- 23:50Speaker 4: know where it came from. Yeah, but it got back

- 24:08Speaker 4: Excuse me?
- 24:10Speaker 2: You do one? My pardner?
- 24:13Speaker 8: You know it?
- 24:16Speaker 4: God do that.

- 24:21Speaker 4: Guys?
- 24:21Speaker 15: I know?
- 24:22Speaker 1: Yeah? Come on, all right, So he shouldn't admit it.
- 24:28Speaker 1: Bottom line, he should not admit to sing unless.
- 24:31Speaker 2: She walked in and then then somebody went, well he
- 24:35Speaker 2: was right.
- 24:43Speaker 1: Oh, I hope that didn't happen. All right, we're gonna.
- 24:47Speaker 2: Move on, Claire.
- 24:50Speaker 4: Yeah, he was right.
- 24:52Speaker 1: Yeah, we're gonna move on to Hazel in Cordova. Hazel writes,
- 24:59Speaker 1: my neighbors already have their yard fully lit with lights
- 25:03Speaker 1: and Christmas decorations that flash brightly into my bedroom windows.
- 25:09Speaker 1: I asked if they could turn the lights off by
- 25:11Speaker 1: eleven pm, and they said heck no. Well should I
- 25:15Speaker 1: report them to the ho A or not? Is my question?
- 25:19Speaker 4: I Wyon, don't you just get a blackout shade. Let
- 25:21Speaker 4: the people enjoy their holidays once a year. You just
- 25:24Speaker 4: moved into the neighborhood. They've been doing that. Now you
- 25:28Speaker 4: done bought your little grinch acting behind over there. Now
- 25:31Speaker 4: you don't want no lights now what we have in lights?
- 25:33Speaker 4: Get to a blackout shade, it'd be fine. And you
- 25:36Speaker 4: need to sleep in eye mask anyway, get better deeper riches,
- 25:41Speaker 4: sleep like that. You're not reporting people now because then
- 25:45Speaker 4: you got to live there. Now you got an enemy
- 25:47Speaker 4: all throughout the year, fans for what because they try
- 25:50Speaker 4: to decorate their house eating people.
- 25:54Speaker 1: Okay, all right, okay like that, Yeah, last one, Steve,
- 25:58Speaker 1: this is the last one. This is from Sean in Portland.
- 26:02Speaker 1: Sean writes, my wife is wearing all of my sweatsuits
- 26:06Speaker 1: and my pajamas and winter hasn't really started yet. I
- 26:10Speaker 1: can't even hide my stuff or put it up really
- 26:12Speaker 1: high in the closet because she will hunt it down.
- 26:15Speaker 4: And wear it.
- 26:16Speaker 1: I asked her nicely to stop. What do I do next?
- 26:21Speaker 2: Why don't you buy a couple of homes?
- 26:24Speaker 8: Do what?
- 26:24Speaker 1: What'd you say?
- 26:26Speaker 4: Buy her a couple of her own? Yes?
- 26:30Speaker 2: Or just buy duple?
- 26:31Speaker 4: Kidd of what you got the two she liked that
- 26:33Speaker 4: you got?
- 26:34Speaker 1: Buy her wan because she seems to love his stuff.
- 26:39Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 26:39Speaker 4: No, Once they do that ain't nothing you can do
- 26:41Speaker 4: bout it, though, Just go.
- 26:45Speaker 2: Just the part we don't like, though, don't I don't
- 26:47Speaker 2: like that? I like what wearing?
- 26:50Speaker 15: Well?
- 26:50Speaker 2: What did you in my clothes for? This is the
- 26:52Speaker 2: same way when we sit down and have dinner.
- 26:54Speaker 1: Dinner, Why did you in my plate?
- 26:56Speaker 2: Get what you want? Get out of mind?
- 26:59Speaker 1: But yours look good?
- 27:00Speaker 2: Though? Like?
- 27:04Speaker 1: What what's wrong with sharing?
- 27:06Speaker 2: Gets you some sweats?
- 27:09Speaker 1: She likes yours? Yeah, mister, uh huh.
- 27:13Speaker 2: That's not a grinch, that's just I got. Can I
- 27:17Speaker 2: grab my own clothes and asked the ladies ask him,
- 27:21Speaker 2: does he say this to his wife?
- 27:23Speaker 4: Of course we are saying on the radio.
- 27:26Speaker 1: Just giggles. Yeah, would you say this to Jackie?
- 27:30Speaker 2: Tell me no, I'm talking to y'all.
- 27:34Speaker 1: Say it with your chest, yeah, all out on zoomas
- 27:40Speaker 1: and his voice.
- 27:42Speaker 4: Won't you get your own?
- 27:44Speaker 9: Yeah?
- 27:47Speaker 4: Won't you get your own?
- 27:50Speaker 11: Why won't?
- 27:50Speaker 1: Why won't he said?
- 27:51Speaker 8: What?
- 27:51Speaker 1: Why do you think he won't say it like that,
- 27:54Speaker 1: you know, to his wife?
- 27:55Speaker 2: Because that makes it worse?
- 28:00Speaker 4: No star, no listen, listen to me, y'all do what
- 28:06Speaker 4: y'all want to do and get away with it. Because
- 28:08Speaker 4: we sleep with y'all.
- 28:11Speaker 2: Is that that's it? You will stop sleeping with me.
- 28:15Speaker 2: You're not getting nothing. We want peace, and but you
- 28:22Speaker 2: stop with your pieces.
- 28:24Speaker 4: I ain't giving you nothing, Lord, goodness nothing. It's tied
- 28:30Speaker 4: to that yacking the jack My no aunt, that ain't that.
- 28:33Speaker 4: Ain't caught. Stop sleeping with Tash and see how long
- 28:37Speaker 4: y'all live in that house.
- 28:39Speaker 1: I'm homeless now. Over some sweats and pajamas.
- 28:47Speaker 2: Think the driving the range rover? How you think?
- 28:49Speaker 11: How you think that is?
- 28:51Speaker 1: Why?
- 28:54Speaker 11: Why you think that is?
- 28:57Speaker 4: Because you sleep with the man. Stop sleeping with him.
- 29:00Speaker 4: Would you be drying?
- 29:03Speaker 11: Can I ask you something?
- 29:05Speaker 1: Being married to take care of him?
- 29:08Speaker 12: Than I realized my vocabulary is really limited. Now what
- 29:13Speaker 12: do you mean it's just down there?
- 29:15Speaker 11: Yes, ma'am. Sure, whatever you want? Man, got it?
- 29:18Speaker 2: Yeah? No, do you need anything else for.
- 29:24Speaker 1: I love that? Yeah, that was a great response. I
- 29:28Speaker 1: used to say a lot more.
- 29:30Speaker 2: Don't have that?
- 29:30Speaker 1: No more, a lot more like what?
- 29:33Speaker 2: And then there's some lines we won't to use.
- 29:35Speaker 4: We can never use.
- 29:36Speaker 1: We can never say, like get in and lay down.
- 29:43Speaker 11: Stop talking to me?
- 29:44Speaker 2: Oh god, you can't say what do you want? Yeah,
- 29:52Speaker 2: you won't that's what when you walk man, who are
- 29:56Speaker 2: you talking to?
- 29:57Speaker 12: Oh?
- 30:00Speaker 2: I got some stuff we want to say. Wow, that's
- 30:10Speaker 2: what with on the end of it.
- 30:14Speaker 1: All right, that's today, Clo coming up at the top
- 30:17Speaker 1: of the alb I's got some of that passive aggressiveness
- 30:21Speaker 1: out I see. Coming up at the top of the hour.
- 30:25Speaker 1: We will have some entertainment news for you right after this.
- 30:28Speaker 11: This is my house.
- 30:29Speaker 1: You're listening Harvey Morning Show. All right, So Tommy Ready
- 30:38Speaker 1: to Love Detroit kicked off last Friday, and there's an
- 30:42Speaker 1: all new episode tonight on own at eight seven Central
- 30:45Speaker 1: of course, I already have a few favorites already have
- 30:50Speaker 1: I love Dominique with the turquoise boots. Love her. I
- 30:55Speaker 1: know she's a lot.
- 30:56Speaker 2: I know she will be dressing the entire Yeah, that's
- 31:01Speaker 2: why I love her.
- 31:02Speaker 15: Uh.
- 31:03Speaker 1: There's a guy that dresses too, dresses really nicely. You
- 31:06Speaker 1: like him, Steve. His name is Darius. What about Sarrion playing?
- 31:12Speaker 9: He got every mink you can think of. He come through,
- 31:17Speaker 9: he got a fox, he got a lion here and
- 31:20Speaker 9: he got all of it.
- 31:21Speaker 1: He got everything like America.
- 31:27Speaker 2: Of Zamonda for show.
- 31:29Speaker 4: Yes.
- 31:31Speaker 1: Uh, they all made Darius, Dominique, everybody. They all made
- 31:35Speaker 1: great first impressions for the most part. But I think
- 31:38Speaker 1: you scared them though, Tommy, when you told them near
- 31:41Speaker 1: the end that four people would be eliminated on their faces.
- 31:48Speaker 2: But that's the thing.
- 31:48Speaker 4: I think.
- 31:49Speaker 9: I think that that what I like is we keep
- 31:50Speaker 9: throwing curve balls because you know, if they're watching previous seasons,
- 31:55Speaker 9: they're gonna they gonna when they get on the show,
- 31:56Speaker 9: they're gonna they think they know what's about to happen.
- 31:58Speaker 9: So you got to keep behavior. So when they hit
- 32:03Speaker 9: the number four, they're like, Hey, what's going on? Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 32:06Speaker 9: four who went too? Let's go somebody going home?
- 32:10Speaker 1: So did you really eliminate four people?
- 32:12Speaker 2: You'll see that tonight. I guess I'm Shirley.
- 32:15Speaker 4: We got a.
- 32:17Speaker 2: Wow.
- 32:19Speaker 1: I tried it t Yeah, so that should be fun.
- 32:25Speaker 1: I like it so far. Detroit showing up all right?
- 32:28Speaker 1: Moving on, You guys know that we are still boycotting Target, right,
- 32:33Speaker 1: We're not supposed to shop at Target.
- 32:35Speaker 16: Yeah.
- 32:36Speaker 4: I would like to say, hey, hey, what I've been
- 32:39Speaker 4: a full participant in this here. I ain't cross that line.
- 32:45Speaker 2: I ain't what if it was Amazon?
- 32:49Speaker 4: No, we're not Finnna do that.
- 32:50Speaker 2: You're not, Brian, you can't.
- 32:55Speaker 1: He doesn't go to Target anyway.
- 32:57Speaker 4: I'm not doing that all bass pro shopshop. You own
- 33:02Speaker 4: your own.
- 33:04Speaker 1: Well for the shoppers that are shopping, the customers that
- 33:07Speaker 1: are shopping at Target this holiday season, Target has implemented
- 33:11Speaker 1: a new policy to check in on customers while they're shopping.
- 33:15Speaker 1: Imagine you're just minding your business doing some Christmas shopping
- 33:18Speaker 1: and the next thing you know, a Target store clerk
- 33:21Speaker 1: is smiling at you and talking to you much.
- 33:26Speaker 4: Yeah, I know exactly what they say it?
- 33:32Speaker 13: What are they?
- 33:33Speaker 15: What a.
- 33:36Speaker 2: How does it feel? To be back.
- 33:40Speaker 1: To back in the bild. That's the idea behind Target's
- 33:44Speaker 1: new ten four policy. If a Target associate is within
- 33:48Speaker 1: ten feet of you, they're supposed to smile, make eye
- 33:51Speaker 1: contact and way and if they're within four feet of you,
- 33:55Speaker 1: they have to greet you personally with a warm, helpful interaction.
- 34:00Speaker 2: Okay, Kwan, is there anything I can help you?
- 34:05Speaker 1: How do you know my name? I'm the shopper? How
- 34:08Speaker 1: do you know my name is dac Hey.
- 34:11Speaker 4: We just appreciate y'all blacks coming back in.
- 34:13Speaker 1: Here, Shamika and day Kwan. Come on, let me know
- 34:18Speaker 1: who it is.
- 34:19Speaker 4: When the last time you met a white dude named
- 34:21Speaker 4: day Kwan.
- 34:24Speaker 1: It's all part of an overall effort to change Target's
- 34:28Speaker 1: image since they've had a rough year in the wake
- 34:30Speaker 1: of the boycotts over its new DEI policies. So do
- 34:34Speaker 1: you guys think this is a good idea? What do
- 34:36Speaker 1: you think? Steve Well?
- 34:39Speaker 4: Jamal being back with us as a shopper has meant
- 34:42Speaker 4: a lot to us as a corporation. Look, I supported
- 34:45Speaker 4: Jamal Brian with the boycott because you got to get
- 34:47Speaker 4: people's attention, and the best place to hit him is
- 34:51Speaker 4: in the pocket pocket they get. You know, I think
- 34:54Speaker 4: what he did was a great thing. I'm just here
- 34:57Speaker 4: to say, don't don't don't don't say ain't nothing to
- 35:00Speaker 4: me about Bass Pro Shops. I just want you to know,
- 35:04Speaker 4: crossing that line right after you announced the boycott, don't
- 35:10Speaker 4: break the picket line. I'm pushing people when I cut through.
- 35:16Speaker 1: But you're shopping in the store. If you go in
- 35:19Speaker 1: and people are like bothering you, talking to you, that's
- 35:23Speaker 1: kind of weird.
- 35:24Speaker 4: Huh. Well, you know you want to be friendly. You know,
- 35:26Speaker 4: Walmart they meet you at the gate. You know, they
- 35:29Speaker 4: give you your basket and stuff they say sometimes I
- 35:31Speaker 4: never know what that person said. But you know when
- 35:33Speaker 4: you go in Walmart, they give you something, got their
- 35:36Speaker 4: little blue veans.
- 35:38Speaker 10: Yeah, well, I think it's helpful if they know, if
- 35:41Speaker 10: they can help you, and they know where stuff is.
- 35:43Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, you know what everything is in Target?
- 35:47Speaker 2: You ain't got You don't need no help paying nothing
- 35:49Speaker 2: in Target, you know exactly.
- 35:50Speaker 4: I ain't been in there. So man, let me tell
- 35:55Speaker 4: you something. Man, a partner mine came to see me
- 35:57Speaker 4: at the ranch last year. Okay, that's his luggage because
- 36:01Speaker 4: he came from out the country. So they lost his luggage,
- 36:03Speaker 4: so he wanted to take a shower. He wanted some
- 36:05Speaker 4: new underwear. So it's a Walmart not far from my ranch.
- 36:11Speaker 4: I take him to Walmart in my truck. He walked
- 36:16Speaker 4: in and he said, I said, he said, man, let
- 36:19Speaker 4: me find the underwear. You know, I hadn't been in
- 36:21Speaker 4: the Walmart in a long time. I didn't know how
- 36:23Speaker 4: much stuff was in there. He had a Walmart App.
- 36:27Speaker 4: I got a Walmart app that can tell you in
- 36:32Speaker 4: that particular store, what is a particular item is on?
- 36:37Speaker 1: I like this, Your Walmart app is off the chain.
- 36:40Speaker 1: I will say that find everything.
- 36:43Speaker 4: I got a partner that's got a Walmart app. Do
- 36:45Speaker 4: you know how stunned I was? They had no app.
- 36:58Speaker 4: My partner got an app, A retired engineer. You got
- 37:05Speaker 4: a Walmart app. I was still a new right. What

- 47:18Speaker 4: all right. Prank of today. Your son is too fat?
- 47:23Speaker 4: Your son? Hey, hey, hey, somebody got a tea. Somebody
- 47:28Speaker 4: got a tea?
- 47:29Speaker 2: You do, yake?
- 47:30Speaker 9: You feed him and ain't saying I'm calling from the daycare.
- 47:32Speaker 9: Your son too fat? We can't have any fat. I'm sorry,
- 47:42Speaker 9: I'm sorry, my bad.
- 47:44Speaker 4: You can't.
- 47:46Speaker 2: Your son is Let's go care. Your son is too fat?
- 47:54Speaker 1: Wow?
- 47:55Speaker 8: Hello, Hello, I'm trying to reach please. This is her,
- 48:00Speaker 8: This is Kirby. I'm actually the owner at the daycare.
- 48:03Speaker 8: Mine's daycare where your son comes. Okay, all right, I'm
- 48:07Speaker 8: sure you're familiar with my wife, Anita. Yes, sir, all right,
- 48:10Speaker 8: how you doing today? I'm good?
- 48:12Speaker 15: Oh?
- 48:13Speaker 8: How's little little Divn? How's he doing?
- 48:15Speaker 1: He's good.
- 48:16Speaker 15: He's laying down taking the nap.
- 48:18Speaker 8: Okay, you guys been coming here. I guess about a
- 48:20Speaker 8: year now, right, yes, since he was one. Okay, listen,
- 48:24Speaker 8: I wanted to give you a call. I'm looking at
- 48:26Speaker 8: some some information I was I was Divn doing at home?
- 48:30Speaker 8: Is he is he eating properly at home?
- 48:32Speaker 15: When you say eating, what do you mean?
- 48:34Speaker 2: I mean?
- 48:34Speaker 8: Is he getting meals every time he's supposed to get
- 48:38Speaker 8: them while he's at home?
- 48:39Speaker 15: Yeah, he's doing pretty good.
- 48:43Speaker 8: Okay, Now there's there's there's no situation where you guys
- 48:46Speaker 8: may be a shortage of food or anything like that.
- 48:49Speaker 15: Are you, uh minute short as the food? No, sir,
- 48:53Speaker 15: my husband works real good. We don't have a problem
- 48:56Speaker 15: with as short as the food. Is there a problem
- 48:58Speaker 15: with him?
- 48:58Speaker 8: Well, you know we're looking at the records and little
- 49:02Speaker 8: the honus too, Yes, sir, have you looked at the
- 49:04Speaker 8: comparison of two year olds the majority of two year
- 49:08Speaker 8: olds in comparison to I guess I should say size
- 49:12Speaker 8: in comparison to the bond side.
- 49:14Speaker 15: You mean, like in body weight, body size. I mean
- 49:17Speaker 15: he's a little tall. You know, he wasn't a small
- 49:20Speaker 15: chap when he's born. He was ten pounds. But no,
- 49:22Speaker 15: he's on the scale of right where he should be.
- 49:25Speaker 15: He's just a little you know, taller because the daddy
- 49:27Speaker 15: is tall.
- 49:28Speaker 8: But he's doing okay, So you you don't think he's
- 49:32Speaker 8: anywhere in the in the ballpark of of of of
- 49:36Speaker 8: obesity at two?
- 49:38Speaker 15: You mean fat?
- 49:39Speaker 8: I mean, I didn't want to be blunt, but but
- 49:41Speaker 8: but miss Kathy, you're I mean, I mean your son's
- 49:46Speaker 8: Let me just.
- 49:46Speaker 15: Say, on a Sunday, I'm relaxing and we're talking about
- 49:50Speaker 15: you think my son is a little overweight? Or what
- 49:53Speaker 15: he's what's the problem.
- 49:55Speaker 8: Well, I mean, I think he's fat, you know, And
- 49:58Speaker 8: and the problem I'm happy. I'm noticing the records of
- 50:02Speaker 8: everything as wait.
- 50:03Speaker 15: Wait, we need to back up to you think he's fat.
- 50:06Speaker 15: I've never spoken to you, mister Kirby.
- 50:08Speaker 9: Is that what she said?
- 50:10Speaker 15: Okay? So every morning that I dropped him off for
- 50:12Speaker 15: a year and I give my daycare money, Miss Benita
- 50:16Speaker 15: has never said anything about his eating habits. So you're
- 50:19Speaker 15: telling me that you think my son is fat. With him,
- 50:22Speaker 15: you deal with him on a daily basis.
- 50:23Speaker 8: I don't deal with him on a daily basis. What
- 50:25Speaker 8: I'm looking at as records that are showing me that
- 50:27Speaker 8: he's eating way more than the rest of anybody at
- 50:31Speaker 8: the daycare. And not only that, he's drinking probably a
- 50:33Speaker 8: gallon of milk a day.
- 50:35Speaker 15: A gallon of milk. Y'all only get snacks two times
- 50:38Speaker 15: a day and he's there only for breakfast in months,
- 50:41Speaker 15: And how in the hell is he drinking a gallon
- 50:43Speaker 15: of milk? And if he is, is this no? No,
- 50:48Speaker 15: I'm blown away by this because you calling me on
- 50:50Speaker 15: a Sunday, color my child fat? That's the problem. And
- 50:53Speaker 15: your wife has never said a thing. Never has she
- 50:56Speaker 15: said one thing to me in a year when she
- 50:58Speaker 15: collected my daycare money. She ain't said, my son is
- 51:01Speaker 15: eating y'all at a house at home.
- 51:02Speaker 8: Okay, Well, you know my wife is a different person,
- 51:04Speaker 8: and she tries to be cordial with everyone.
- 51:06Speaker 15: He's the one who deals with me. Mister Kirby. I've
- 51:08Speaker 15: never met you, never met you, especially of a Sunday.
- 51:12Speaker 8: The reason why I'm calling you on a Sunday, ma'am,
- 51:14Speaker 8: is that I know tomorrow if you're gonna be trying
- 51:17Speaker 8: to drop your son.
- 51:17Speaker 15: Off, I am gonna drop him off.
- 51:19Speaker 14: I am gonna no.
- 51:20Speaker 8: No, that's that's kind of the reason why I'm calling you. Now,
- 51:23Speaker 8: what we what do you want to furnatives here? Either
- 51:25Speaker 8: you can keep him at home.
- 51:27Speaker 15: No, I'm not keeping him at home. My husband works
- 51:30Speaker 15: and I work. I'm dropping my son off at six
- 51:33Speaker 15: study like I do every morning.
- 51:34Speaker 8: Okay, ma'am, ma'am, listen, if we can't get him.
- 51:39Speaker 15: You really want to get this banita on because obviously
- 51:42Speaker 15: you ain't the one that need to be talking to me,
- 51:43Speaker 15: because if you're not there every day and I deal.
- 51:46Speaker 8: With your wife, I'm telling you that your son is
- 51:48Speaker 8: too big to be.
- 51:51Speaker 15: Is coming every morning if that's the case, and if
- 51:54Speaker 15: he's eating at a house at home, I send him
- 51:56Speaker 15: some extra. But what I paid my money for is
- 51:59Speaker 15: what you're gonna feed him for two full meals and
- 52:02Speaker 15: two snacks, and if he needs extra, I'll put some
- 52:05Speaker 15: in his bag.
- 52:05Speaker 8: But he's drinking a gallon of milk a day.
- 52:09Speaker 15: Are you you care? I don't care. There's no way
- 52:11Speaker 15: possible that he can drink a gallon of the milk
- 52:13Speaker 15: a day.
- 52:13Speaker 8: Yes, ma'am, here's the deal. I don't want you to
- 52:16Speaker 8: have to stop bringing your son now, and I'm not
- 52:18Speaker 8: and I'm not. Here's my second alternative. I will put
- 52:21Speaker 8: him on a diet. Okay, I'll give him an apple
- 52:24Speaker 8: in the day.
- 52:24Speaker 15: You ain't, No, you ain't. Are you from the Hell's
- 52:28Speaker 15: Food program?
- 52:29Speaker 8: I will. I will give him an apple and a
- 52:30Speaker 8: glass of water in the morning, and I'll give him
- 52:32Speaker 8: an apple and a glass of water in the evening,
- 52:34Speaker 8: and then you guys can feed him when he gets home.
- 52:36Speaker 15: You must be certified in the food program, especially if
- 52:39Speaker 15: you sitting up here telling me my son is one
- 52:41Speaker 15: on the diet and he's not drinking no water. And
- 52:44Speaker 15: no apple. He needs a full snack. If the other
- 52:47Speaker 15: kids is having an apple and water, then that that
- 52:49Speaker 15: you better be serving him. But if that ain't the case,
- 52:51Speaker 15: and hell no, he better get the full snack. So
- 52:53Speaker 15: if that's graham crackers and apple juice, well that's what
- 52:55Speaker 15: my son better be getting. And if he won't extra,
- 52:58Speaker 15: he better get it.
- 52:59Speaker 8: Listen, all I'm trying to here you is your son
- 53:01Speaker 8: drank too much. Koa woa.
- 53:06Speaker 15: You need to back the stop. I know you did
- 53:08Speaker 15: not cutting me. I know I did not ready to
- 53:13Speaker 15: cut to me. Let me tell you what say, you
- 53:15Speaker 15: ain't got to worry about it. We don't have nothing
- 53:17Speaker 15: else to talk about. My husband, me, your wife and
- 53:21Speaker 15: everybody that works at take care better be there in
- 53:23Speaker 15: the morning because at six thirty we gonna be there.
- 53:26Speaker 15: And my son he's coming on week and he gonna
- 53:30Speaker 15: eat week. If he WoT two gallons of milk, he
- 53:34Speaker 15: gonna drink it. If he want two plates of food,
- 53:36Speaker 15: he gonna get it. Because I tell you what, we
- 53:38Speaker 15: paid good money to come to that daycare.
- 53:41Speaker 8: Soil up there that I'm gonna have to put him
- 53:45Speaker 8: on some swim fast. Now, I will put your child
- 53:48Speaker 8: on slim fast. I was trying not to give him suspective.
- 53:51Speaker 8: But I will give him some.

- 53:56Speaker 15: I'm gonna whoop yos and whoever gave it to him,

- 54:03Speaker 15: If he getting some, he better eat whatever they eating.
- 54:05Speaker 15: If they eating steak, would he better.

- 54:08Speaker 8: If we had steak, he probably eat the whole coup
- 54:10Speaker 8: etn't care.

- 56:41Speaker 9: got it for you here. It is the Strawberry let us.
- 56:45Speaker 1: Subject he can't stand being Alone. Dear Stephen Shirley. I
- 56:50Speaker 1: was living with my brother and his wife for a
- 56:52Speaker 1: while after they had a baby and it was time
- 56:55Speaker 1: for her to return to work. They didn't want the
- 56:57Speaker 1: baby going to a babysitter yet, so I agreed to
- 57:00Speaker 1: move in and help out. I'm retired and my daughter
- 57:04Speaker 1: is in college, so I have a lot of time
- 57:07Speaker 1: on my hands. This is not what I signed up for, though.
- 57:10Speaker 1: My sister in law is a flight attendant and she
- 57:13Speaker 1: does international flights, which means she's gone for days at
- 57:16Speaker 1: a time. The first time she left, my brother left too.
- 57:20Speaker 1: He was gone all weekend and he did not tell
- 57:23Speaker 1: me where he was. He got home and washed all
- 57:26Speaker 1: of his clothes and then went to pick up his
- 57:28Speaker 1: wife from the airport. The next time she left the house,
- 57:32Speaker 1: he invited a woman over to the house, and he
- 57:34Speaker 1: told me that he was ordering out and watching a
- 57:37Speaker 1: movie with his friend. After I saw the fourth different
- 57:41Speaker 1: woman in the house, I asked my brother if he
- 57:44Speaker 1: had a problem and how could he do this to
- 57:47Speaker 1: his wife like that. He said that he doesn't like
- 57:51Speaker 1: to be alone and the women help him pass the time.
- 57:54Speaker 1: I told him. I told him if he's needing to
- 57:59Speaker 1: pass the time, he could keep his five month old
- 58:01Speaker 1: son all by himself. He continued to bring other women
- 58:05Speaker 1: in the house, so I told his wife I was
- 58:07Speaker 1: leaving because something came up and I needed to be
- 58:10Speaker 1: closer to home. She asked me if it was because
- 58:13Speaker 1: my brother was being a womanizer. I lied and said
- 58:18Speaker 1: that wasn't it at all. She's been knowing and hasn't
- 58:21Speaker 1: said anything to him about it, and that makes me
- 58:24Speaker 1: even more uncomfortable staying there. I'm not sure if she's
- 58:27Speaker 1: insecure or has low self esteems and she had the baby.
- 58:31Speaker 1: But my brother's behavior is unbelievable. I want to ask
- 58:35Speaker 1: her how much she knows, but I don't want to
- 58:37Speaker 1: open Pandora's box.
- 58:39Speaker 2: What do I do?
- 58:41Speaker 1: Well, I say, you do the same thing you're doing.
- 58:44Speaker 1: You know, look, you got to get out of there.
- 58:49Speaker 1: You're doing the right thing. I think you're absolutely doing
- 58:52Speaker 1: the right thing. Get out. Tell her something came up
- 58:55Speaker 1: and you got to go. Because it's just way too
- 58:57Speaker 1: much happening in and out of this man's house, in
- 59:01Speaker 1: this woman's house. It's too much happening in their marriage
- 59:05Speaker 1: that you don't need to be a part of. I mean,
- 59:07Speaker 1: this dad needs to watch his own baby. If he's
- 59:10Speaker 1: got this kind of free time, why isn't he at
- 59:12Speaker 1: home with this baby. Surely his son is more important
- 59:16Speaker 1: than the women he's cheating with on the baby's mom with.
- 59:21Speaker 1: I just think this is so disrespectful. I mean, that's
- 59:23Speaker 1: needless to say, but he's bringing the women in the house.
- 59:29Speaker 1: The crazy part is his wife seemed to know that
- 59:31Speaker 1: he cheats, right even though she called it, is he womanizing?
- 59:35Speaker 1: You do not approve of what your brother's doing, that's
- 59:37Speaker 1: quite obvious. He doesn't care how you feel though, because
- 59:41Speaker 1: he's not trying to stop. He doesn't respect you or
- 59:45Speaker 1: appreciate you for he's what you're doing. I mean, you know,
- 59:49Speaker 1: he just says that he doesn't like to be alone.
- 59:51Speaker 1: I just think it's sad what he's doing. It's horrible
- 59:54Speaker 1: what he's doing, horrible for his marriage, for his wife
- 59:57Speaker 1: or the baby, everybody involved. But you don't need to
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: be there, you know, because they're not trying to fix this.
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: You have your own life. I mean I say, do
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: your own thing, you know, with your life. You say
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: you have a lot of time on your hands, but
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: they don't appreciate you. This is craziness. Poor baby, you know,
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: just I just feel bad for the baby because you know,
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: what are these parents doing, especially the dad, Steve, I.
- 1:00:24Speaker 2: Don't want to be alone?
- 1:00:27Speaker 4: Who innimo? It's crazy sugarfoot or hoil players.
- 1:00:38Speaker 2: It was just a siligay.
- 1:00:41Speaker 4: Hey we will playing. Oh see the thing about old
- 1:00:47Speaker 4: school is they have a song for everything.
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: I don't wanna be alone.
- 1:00:56Speaker 4: In Nimo. That's all I could hear the whole time
- 1:00:59Speaker 4: you read this letter is flat out crazy man?
- 1:01:05Speaker 6: What boy?
- 1:01:07Speaker 4: What listen? This woman had a baby, her and her
- 1:01:11Speaker 4: husband They didn't want the baby go to babysitting, so
- 1:01:16Speaker 4: they paid you to move into town and live with them.
- 1:01:20Speaker 4: The woman's a flight attendant and she does international flights.
- 1:01:24Speaker 2: After she got on her feet, she went back to work.
- 1:01:27Speaker 4: You there watching the baby. You had no idea how
- 1:01:30Speaker 4: much watching your people don't have to do. I'm talking
- 1:01:35Speaker 4: about you got to be staring at this baby. I mean,
- 1:01:38Speaker 4: you ain't gotta breatheable moment. Now your white. Your sister
- 1:01:42Speaker 4: in law goes on the international trip. Your brother who
- 1:01:48Speaker 4: is the father of the baby with the woman who
- 1:01:51Speaker 4: is the international flight attendant. He drop off of the airport.
- 1:01:56Speaker 4: You ain't seen him all weekend, so now he got
- 1:02:01Speaker 4: hold washed all his clothes, then went to Piggy's wife
- 1:02:05Speaker 4: from from the airport. He had to wash them clothes.
- 1:02:08Speaker 4: Ain't no telling us on them clothes. Oh especially if
- 1:02:13Speaker 4: one of these girls is a stripper. The glitter that's
- 1:02:16Speaker 4: on them clothes, girl, Oh lord, that glitter don't come out.
- 1:02:26Speaker 4: So anyway, he's trying to wash it out. The next
- 1:02:29Speaker 4: time she left the house, he invited a woman over
- 1:02:33Speaker 4: to the house, and he told you he was ordered
- 1:02:36Speaker 4: out to watch a movie with his friend. What at
- 1:02:41Speaker 4: your house dog and then he didn't. Now let me
- 1:02:45Speaker 4: tell you what before we go to break after I
- 1:02:48Speaker 4: saw the fourth different woman in the house. So this
- 1:02:52Speaker 4: boy visit man, but I come back. I'll share you
- 1:02:55Speaker 4: the rest of it. Pretty much gonna be so over right.
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: Part two of Steve's response to today's Strawberry letter. A
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: subject he can't stand being alone. We'll hear his response
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: at twenty three minutes after. Right after this, you're listening
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: to Steve Hardy Morning Show. Hey, everyone, quick health question.
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: Even though you're still thriving, still loving, still connecting, did
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: you know your immune system weakens with age. That's where
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: vaccines come in. They help train and strengthen your immune
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: response to fight off certain respiratory illnesses like flu, newmacacle, pneumonia, RSV,
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: and COVID nineteen this fall, ask your doctor which vaccines
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: you need and visit vaccisist dot com that's vaexsist dot
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: com to schedule one or more of vaccines sponsored by Pfizer.
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: All right, come on, Steve, let's recap today's Strawberry letter.
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: The subject is he can't stand being alone.
- 1:03:54Speaker 4: Well, here's the deal. Bottom line is this man and
- 1:03:56Speaker 4: woman are married. Your brother is married to this woman
- 1:03:59Speaker 4: who's a flight They had a baby. They didn't want
- 1:04:01Speaker 4: a baby to go to a babysitter. They hired you
- 1:04:04Speaker 4: and brought you in full time nanny. You there, but
- 1:04:06Speaker 4: you didn't realize what your job didn't tell because she's
- 1:04:09Speaker 4: an international flight attendant, so she's gone for days at
- 1:04:12Speaker 4: a time. She took her first trip out of town.
- 1:04:15Speaker 4: Then your brother didn't tell you this, but he took
- 1:04:18Speaker 4: a trip somewhere. He was gone for the whole weekend,
- 1:04:20Speaker 4: came back in, washed his clothes, tried to get all
- 1:04:22Speaker 4: the glitter and make him hair out of it, and
- 1:04:25Speaker 4: then went to that point and picked up his wife.
- 1:04:28Speaker 4: And then the next time she left the house, he
- 1:04:30Speaker 4: invited another woman over to the house and told you,
- 1:04:33Speaker 4: the sister that wrote this letter, he was ordering out
- 1:04:36Speaker 4: and gonna watch a movie with his friend. After I
- 1:04:39Speaker 4: saw the fourth different woman in the house, the letter
- 1:04:43Speaker 4: writer then turns to her brother and asked her brother
- 1:04:46Speaker 4: if he had a problem, and how could he do
- 1:04:48Speaker 4: his wife like that? This is what the letter is about.
- 1:04:52Speaker 4: Right there, he said, out of his own mouth, with
- 1:04:56Speaker 4: his own lips perched. He don't like to be alone,
- 1:05:00Speaker 4: and the women help him pass the time. Boy, there's
- 1:05:05Speaker 4: golf checkers online, a business you can go to gym,
- 1:05:12Speaker 4: so you can take up cooking. Here's the big one
- 1:05:16Speaker 4: you could do. If you really need to pass some time,
- 1:05:21Speaker 4: try watching a baby. How about that you talk about time?
- 1:05:28Speaker 2: Put that down?
- 1:05:29Speaker 4: Set that quick, crawling over the lead that along, Get
- 1:05:31Speaker 4: out and off of there. Shut up, be quiet, don't
- 1:05:35Speaker 4: go over there, stay out of there.
- 1:05:36Speaker 2: What are you doing? Where is he? Where is he?
- 1:05:38Speaker 4: Where? Don't climb up on that. But if you want
- 1:05:42Speaker 4: to just pass some time watching a baby and fill
- 1:05:49Speaker 4: it up, I'm talking about the brim. So now he
- 1:05:54Speaker 4: tells you they help him pass the time. Then you
- 1:05:58Speaker 4: said he could keep his five months old son by herself.
- 1:06:02Speaker 4: Now after you told him that, your brother continued to
- 1:06:04Speaker 4: bring other women in the house. So then you told
- 1:06:08Speaker 4: his wife that you was leaving because something came in
- 1:06:10Speaker 4: up and I need to be closer to home. Nice move.
- 1:06:13Speaker 4: The wife turned around and asked you, is it because
- 1:06:16Speaker 4: your brother was a womanizer?
- 1:06:21Speaker 2: I lied and said that wasn't it at all.
- 1:06:24Speaker 4: And then you realize that she been knowing this and
- 1:06:26Speaker 4: ain't said anything about it, and that makes you even
- 1:06:29Speaker 4: more uncomfortable. Staying there. Now you're saying that you don't
- 1:06:33Speaker 4: know if she's in consuited, in excuse me, insecure, or
- 1:06:38Speaker 4: got low self esteem since she had the baby. But
- 1:06:42Speaker 4: you think your brother's behavior is unbelievable. I want to
- 1:06:46Speaker 4: ask her how much she knows, which you shouldn't because
- 1:06:49Speaker 4: she just told you he was a womanizer. The details
- 1:06:53Speaker 4: is unimportant. When a woman is a flight attendant and
- 1:06:56Speaker 4: she go out on the trip. You don't think she
- 1:06:58Speaker 4: called the check on the baby. You don't think she
- 1:07:01Speaker 4: asked him what is the baby doing right now? FaceTime
- 1:07:04Speaker 4: me with the baby? He can't answer that because the
- 1:07:07Speaker 4: baby he holding.
- 1:07:09Speaker 2: Face time with her.
- 1:07:12Speaker 4: You see what I'm saying. So now she know, because
- 1:07:17Speaker 4: ain't no woman not gonna know when you going for
- 1:07:20Speaker 4: a whole weekend and you're supposed to be at the
- 1:07:22Speaker 4: house with the baby. Women know how to check up
- 1:07:25Speaker 4: on that stuff. She probably got his phone pinged. He
- 1:07:29Speaker 4: don't know it, And I can't tell you she been
- 1:07:33Speaker 4: knowing this dude's cheap, But you don't need to. Then
- 1:07:37Speaker 4: you say you don't want to ask her how much
- 1:07:38Speaker 4: she knows because you don't want to open up a
- 1:07:40Speaker 4: Pandora's box. What do I do. I think you should
- 1:07:43Speaker 4: do exactly what you planned on doing, move back closer
- 1:07:46Speaker 4: to home and let your brother figure it out, because
- 1:07:51Speaker 4: your brother he doing way too much. First of all, man,
- 1:07:54Speaker 4: you want to know somebody I've never understood. I have
- 1:07:57Speaker 4: never understood, and I know, ladies you may have some
- 1:08:01Speaker 4: problems for what I'm about to say, But I've never
- 1:08:04Speaker 4: understood a man from who cheats and brings the woman
- 1:08:09Speaker 4: to the home of his wife. It's just another level
- 1:08:14Speaker 4: of okay. You know, like you you're very familiar with,
- 1:08:17Speaker 4: there's honor amongst thieves. There's a cold amongst the thieves.
- 1:08:21Speaker 4: There's a cheatah cold too, all right, what's the cheating? Well,
- 1:08:26Speaker 4: bringing a woman to your house where your family is, Yes,
- 1:08:30Speaker 4: a foul b that's just like you know, that's another
- 1:08:33Speaker 4: level of disrespect. I got you stepping out, I got you,
- 1:08:37Speaker 4: got a side piece, I got all that, But you're
- 1:08:39Speaker 4: gonna bring the side piece to your house. Two things
- 1:08:43Speaker 4: is wrong right here while you and her, Because who
- 1:08:47Speaker 4: is the snake that know you marry and go over
- 1:08:49Speaker 4: your wife house and sitting up watching movies. I'll tell
- 1:08:54Speaker 4: you an incident I had a long time ago. Then
- 1:08:57Speaker 4: I would definitely keep the names out to protect the innocent.
- 1:09:00Speaker 4: Mostly meet.
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: It's a pertinent piece of information.
- 1:09:07Speaker 4: There, sir partner who was famous before I was. I
- 1:09:11Speaker 4: stayed at his house and he had a girl over
- 1:09:16Speaker 4: his house and his wife went out of town to
- 1:09:19Speaker 4: skip and he bought a girl to the house. I'm
- 1:09:22Speaker 4: upstairs and I'm looking over the rail and I see
- 1:09:24Speaker 4: the whole thing now on the couch and everything. She
- 1:09:26Speaker 4: leave early in the morning. I said, dog, your wife
- 1:09:29Speaker 4: could come back early. He said, Dog, this is my house.
- 1:09:31Speaker 4: I had this house where I married her. White session
- 1:09:35Speaker 4: I had with that dude right there, I said, brun,
- 1:09:37Speaker 4: listen to me. I've had that experience before and it's
- 1:09:40Speaker 4: not gonna work out. Wow.
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: Sorry, we're out of time.
- 1:09:45Speaker 4: Steve, whoa well, Jesse, just to help you out, let

- 1:13:57Speaker 1: that right after this. You're listening to the Steve Harvey
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: Morning Show. Okay, this is from anonymous in Atlanta. I
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: dated a very famous man for seven years, and we
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: traveled extensively. I had access to his accounts, cars, homes
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: and everything. He even got me a salon one Christmas
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: till that I still own. The only problem was that
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: he cheated on me a lot. So we broke up
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: for good a few years ago, and now that I'm
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: trying to date again, regular men don't do what my
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: ex did, nor can they afford to. My mom said
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: that when I meet mister Wright, his finances won't even matter.
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: Is that true?
- 1:14:40Speaker 4: That's true? When you meet mister Wright, his finances won't matter.
- 1:14:44Speaker 4: The only problem is your mister right got to have finances.
- 1:14:48Speaker 4: So now tear your mama, Dad, no mo, okay, see
- 1:14:56Speaker 4: now your mama right? But see you you into money.
- 1:14:59Speaker 4: So if money is a criteria, then that's what it's
- 1:15:04Speaker 4: going to take. And good luck.
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: Me.
- 1:15:11Speaker 4: And with money? Got options? Yeah, options with an s
- 1:15:18Speaker 4: that means more than one. All right, So you're saying
- 1:15:25Speaker 4: what I'm saying, You're probably gonna have to go back
- 1:15:27Speaker 4: to him.
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: Oh today, what I'm saying what it sounds like to me?
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: All Right, we have time for another one. This is
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: from Dynasty in Orlando. Uh, Dynasty says, I'm having a
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: baby by a married man. His wife found out about me,
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: but she doesn't know that I'm pregnant. We'd been dating
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: for months and one day his wife followed him to
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: my house. She and I talked it out just like adults,
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: and she was heartbroken. We tried to break up, but
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: I found out I was pregnant. His wife will be
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: even more hurt. So I feel like I should tell
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: her myself before she hears it on the streets. It's
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: terrible news. So is it best that she hears this
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: news from me? Wow?
- 1:16:11Speaker 4: How you think that's gonna be a man? She was
- 1:16:15Speaker 4: devastated to find out y'all was seeing each other. Y'all
- 1:16:18Speaker 4: done talked it out. Look, y'all not friends.

- 1:16:26Speaker 4: You're gonna mess around, get your well, it's what you do.
- 1:16:29Speaker 4: You're gonna mess around and say something to this woman
- 1:16:32Speaker 4: that she Didne took that. Y'all talked about it like women.
- 1:16:35Speaker 4: She was devastating. They're going to tell her this or not?
- 1:16:38Speaker 4: Are you are you crazy?
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: Yeah?

- 1:17:20Speaker 1: Yeah, she's in Orlando. Yeah right, she'd be sued. This
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: is bad. She's pregnant, so that means you're.
- 1:17:31Speaker 4: Pregnant by a married man. Y'all only been stating for
- 1:17:34Speaker 4: two months.
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: Well, unprotected sex, all the things.
- 1:17:40Speaker 2: I don't know what to tear. He's so still yeah,
- 1:17:43Speaker 2: I mean.
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: Yeah, it's his fault too. He gets some of this blame,
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: a lot.

- 1:25:17Speaker 1: is Friday. And Steve, you got some closing jr. Ask
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: him a question. I know you had a question for him,
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: you know, answer a question.
- 1:25:25Speaker 11: It went in the holiday season.
- 1:25:26Speaker 12: Un And you know you always talk about this, but
- 1:25:29Speaker 12: the power of being grateful, man, you start every day,
- 1:25:32Speaker 12: un I think you think people understand that you start
- 1:25:35Speaker 12: this every day.
- 1:25:36Speaker 11: You start your show with it, you close your show
- 1:25:38Speaker 11: with gratitude. Just being grateful.
- 1:25:41Speaker 4: I mean, it's an essential element to success. It's the
- 1:25:49Speaker 4: most underused and underappreciated tool for success. It's such a
- 1:25:57Speaker 4: mandatory tool to be successful, but is one of the
- 1:26:00Speaker 4: most overlooked because people are trying to use stuff like
- 1:26:04Speaker 4: hard work, studying, you know, research development. They try to
- 1:26:13Speaker 4: use classes as a tool. People go and take seminars,
- 1:26:20Speaker 4: people by self help books, literature, you know all of
- 1:26:25Speaker 4: this stuff. Man, there is not a tactic more useful
- 1:26:33Speaker 4: to you becoming successful than gratitude. The moment you become
- 1:26:40Speaker 4: truly grateful that you in earnest show true gratitude, you
- 1:26:46Speaker 4: cannot imagine what it opens up for you. First of all,
- 1:26:51Speaker 4: it signals to God that you appreciate what he's done.
- 1:26:55Speaker 4: And the reason you lose sight of gratitude is because
- 1:26:58Speaker 4: your focus is solely on what's missing in your life,
- 1:27:02Speaker 4: what you don't have, what you learn for your goals,
- 1:27:06Speaker 4: your aspirations, and you've lost focus of everything He's done
- 1:27:12Speaker 4: for you. And if you want to become more successful,
- 1:27:15Speaker 4: you have to become more grateful. See, the more grateful
- 1:27:21Speaker 4: you are, the more grateful you are, the more God
- 1:27:24Speaker 4: will give you to be grateful for. But if you
- 1:27:27Speaker 4: show no gratitude, it's just a lack of appreciation. It's
- 1:27:31Speaker 4: like snack never saying thank you? Are you serious, man?
- 1:27:35Speaker 4: As you're a human being? Now, how many times can
- 1:27:37Speaker 4: you do something for somebody and they never say thank
- 1:27:41Speaker 4: you for it?
- 1:27:42Speaker 2: Do you know how you would make note of that?
- 1:27:45Speaker 2: I say all the time. Lets you know, back in the.
- 1:27:48Speaker 4: Old days, people used to go down the street and
- 1:27:50Speaker 4: borrow an ingredient, couple sugar flowers, something like that. Let's
- 1:27:55Speaker 4: say you walk down the street one day and you
- 1:27:57Speaker 4: buy a couple of sugar bar a couple of sugar
- 1:27:59Speaker 4: from a neighbor, give you the cup and you get
- 1:28:01Speaker 4: to say, hey, man, cool, just what I needed and
- 1:28:04Speaker 4: walk off. Okakk. But you come back again for another
- 1:28:09Speaker 4: cup of sugar. They give you another cup of sugar,
- 1:28:13Speaker 4: and you walk off and say, man, that's the second
- 1:28:15Speaker 4: time i'd have been over here.
- 1:28:17Speaker 2: Man, got it, man, and you walk off.
- 1:28:20Speaker 4: Now keep in mind, now you ain't say it thank you,
- 1:28:23Speaker 4: but the person you come to kind of goes, hey, man,
- 1:28:27Speaker 4: I keep giving this person a cup of sugar, and
- 1:28:30Speaker 4: I've noticed they don't ever even just say a comic Curtis.
- 1:28:33Speaker 4: They don't never say thank you. So how many times
- 1:28:36Speaker 4: do you think you could go back to that person
- 1:28:38Speaker 4: steady asking for stuff and never say thank you. You
- 1:28:42Speaker 4: don't show no gratitude, like it's a given like they
- 1:28:45Speaker 4: supposed to, like you take it for granted, like.
- 1:28:48Speaker 2: You just assume.
- 1:28:50Speaker 4: So now the fourth time you go down the street
- 1:28:53Speaker 4: and you say, hey, man, can I get a cup
- 1:28:55Speaker 4: of sugar? Now we out?
- 1:28:57Speaker 7: Man?
- 1:28:59Speaker 13: Man?
- 1:29:00Speaker 2: You mean you out? I know you got it?
- 1:29:02Speaker 4: No good, we were good, man. We ain't got nothing.
- 1:29:05Speaker 2: Now you walk away. You'll never know what is for.
- 1:29:08Speaker 4: But I can assure you that man that say it
- 1:29:10Speaker 4: to himself, he come down here every time I fill
- 1:29:13Speaker 4: up his cup with sugar.
- 1:29:14Speaker 2: He never say thank you.
- 1:29:15Speaker 4: Now, God ain't that way, and ain't we fortunate that
- 1:29:18Speaker 4: He's not that way? Because you know how many times
- 1:29:21Speaker 4: he wakes us up, and how many people don't ever
- 1:29:23Speaker 4: say thank you for waking me up? But then he
- 1:29:26Speaker 4: do it again tomorrow. You better be glad God ain't us.
- 1:29:31Speaker 4: You better be glad God is who he is. But imagine, though,
- 1:29:37Speaker 4: if before you ask God for stuff, you went down
- 1:29:40Speaker 4: a list of things that you showed gratitude for. Like
- 1:29:43Speaker 4: I tell you something, man, I had to really get
- 1:29:45Speaker 4: a focus on the past few years. I was steady
- 1:29:48Speaker 4: asking God for stuff. I was thanking him, being grateful,
- 1:29:51Speaker 4: but I wasn't really thanking him enough. And it dawned
- 1:29:54Speaker 4: on me one day that whole list, Steve, that you
- 1:29:58Speaker 4: keep asking God for this hole, this deal, that deal,
- 1:30:03Speaker 4: this money, this check, this deal, that money. Hey, man,
- 1:30:09Speaker 4: do you realize what all you have? So I started
- 1:30:14Speaker 4: paying close attention, because the real way to pray is
- 1:30:18Speaker 4: you supposed to offer thanks before you ask for something.
- 1:30:22Speaker 4: You know, like it would help you if you went
- 1:30:23Speaker 4: back down to the man's house and you said thank
- 1:30:26Speaker 4: you every time he gave it to you. But he said,
- 1:30:29Speaker 4: but if you went back and say, hey, man, listen,
- 1:30:31Speaker 4: I know I'm back again. I show appreciate you helping me. Man,
- 1:30:34Speaker 4: we just down and out down the street. Man.
- 1:30:37Speaker 2: I know I've came down.
- 1:30:39Speaker 4: Before, and I appreciate the other two cups you gave me,
- 1:30:41Speaker 4: but I really need to bar another cup. Man, he
- 1:30:44Speaker 4: would be more than happy to give you a cup
- 1:30:45Speaker 4: of sugar. So when you go to God, you got
- 1:30:49Speaker 4: to show some gratitude because man, I had to start
- 1:30:53Speaker 4: remembering of all he had done for me. And once
- 1:30:56Speaker 4: I started looking at what all he had done for me, sometimes, Man,
- 1:31:00Speaker 4: I'm gonna tell you, like the other day, I was
- 1:31:01Speaker 4: praying and I was going down everything. I was getting
- 1:31:04Speaker 4: real specific about what he owed me, about what he's
- 1:31:08Speaker 4: done for me. Bruh, do you realize man? I just stopped.
- 1:31:11Speaker 4: I said, hey, man, you need to stop. He didn't
- 1:31:14Speaker 4: done enough for you. He hadn't done a lot for you.
- 1:31:17Speaker 4: But it has opened up the windows of blessings for
- 1:31:20Speaker 4: Heaven to throw out a blessing that I can't receive.
- 1:31:23Speaker 4: I have a life of abundance because God has gotten
- 1:31:28Speaker 4: me into overflow because of how grateful I am for
- 1:31:32Speaker 4: everything He's given me. I dare you to try that.
- 1:31:36Speaker 4: I dare you to try that and watch God how
- 1:31:40Speaker 4: he opens up windows for you. Just show gratitude. Man,
- 1:31:43Speaker 4: those are my clothes remarks. Have yourself a great day today.
- 1:31:46Speaker 4: Talk to God today. He would absolutely love to hear
- 1:31:49Speaker 4: from you. He really would.
