- 1:25Speaker 1: you to turn about turn you love got to turn
- 1:44Speaker 1: out to turn water wan go come come on your
- 1:59Speaker 1: thing at it. Uh huh. I shall will a good
- 2:03Speaker 1: morning everybody. You're listening to the voice, Come on Digney
- 2:07Speaker 1: now one and on it. Steve Hardy got a radio show. Okay,
- 2:12Speaker 1: today is simple. I got it together. I didn't have to.
- 2:16Speaker 1: I gave a little thought this morning. I actually got
- 2:18Speaker 1: up in um, I went to the gym and I
- 2:24Speaker 1: make time for that too. Man. That's but that that's
- 2:27Speaker 1: that's that's that's kind of what I want to speak
- 2:29Speaker 1: with everybody about today because I want to remind you
- 2:33Speaker 1: and if you haven't heard it, I'm gonna share it
- 2:34Speaker 1: with you. I want to tell you. I want to
- 2:40Speaker 1: just talk to you about effort today, just about effort.
- 2:46Speaker 1: You know, it's it's it's it's a word that people
- 2:49Speaker 1: use to describe sometimes trying. But what I found out
- 2:55Speaker 1: about trying is trying is just a noble way of
- 2:59Speaker 1: saying you didn't get it done. I tried when and
- 3:04Speaker 1: then everybody go, well, he tried, that was the best. Well,
- 3:08Speaker 1: that's that's not exactly true though, that that's that's not
- 3:13Speaker 1: exactly true. You are, and I want to talk to
- 3:16Speaker 1: you about that because I don't want you to be
- 3:18Speaker 1: one of the people who just tried. See trying, I mean,
- 3:25Speaker 1: I gotta tell you to it. To attempt something, you're
- 3:27Speaker 1: gonna have to first try. But I want you to
- 3:31Speaker 1: change your mind set from trying to getting it done. See,
- 3:37Speaker 1: that's a that's a big difference. When you say I'm
- 3:39Speaker 1: gonna get it done and when somebody says to me,
- 3:43Speaker 1: I'm gonna try. Those are two different people I'm talking to.
- 3:46Speaker 1: I'm really more apt to listen to the person that
- 3:48Speaker 1: says to me, I'm gonna get it done, because trying
- 3:52Speaker 1: to me, I know what that means. Man. And oftentimes
- 3:56Speaker 1: when you've tried, have you ever noticed that you've not
- 3:59Speaker 1: gotten it done? It's because when you go in with
- 4:02Speaker 1: the mindset of trying, I'm gonna try. What try does
- 4:06Speaker 1: is it allows you to fail. Trying allows you to fail.
- 4:11Speaker 1: Because if all you're gonna do is try, anybody can try.
- 4:15Speaker 1: It's the person that has the mindset that I'm gonna
- 4:18Speaker 1: get it done. Is the person who changes the complexion
- 4:23Speaker 1: of things, who changes the outcome of thing, who gets
- 4:27Speaker 1: a different results. I'm gonna get it done. It's very
- 4:31Speaker 1: different than I'm gonna try. You know, look, man, I know,
- 4:34Speaker 1: I know this sounds a little harsh, but but you
- 4:37Speaker 1: gotta stop feeding yourself these little old wise sayings that
- 4:42Speaker 1: ain't it was a valiant tribe. Hey man, you talk
- 4:46Speaker 1: to anybody that took second place in the super Bowl
- 4:50Speaker 1: and see how they feel about their value. Try. The
- 4:53Speaker 1: only way to gain God's real blessings is you have
- 4:59Speaker 1: to try something. Stevie backpedalin. Now, listen to me close.
- 5:08Speaker 1: You have to put forth an effort to to allow
- 5:14Speaker 1: God to put his finger on something to bless on
- 5:18Speaker 1: your behalf. You must start to attempt now, insane getting
- 5:25Speaker 1: it done, And I'm gonna try. That's a difference of
- 5:28Speaker 1: two different faiths to me. That's I'm just talking about me. Now.
- 5:33Speaker 1: You may be different, so I can't I can't say
- 5:35Speaker 1: this about you, but I can't say this about me.
- 5:39Speaker 1: If I say I'm gonna get it done, I have
- 5:43Speaker 1: a lot of faith in it. I am going to
- 5:48Speaker 1: get it done because I just don't see failure as
- 5:50Speaker 1: an option. A lot of times now, if somebody says
- 5:54Speaker 1: to me, like, the Olympic team invited me out to
- 5:58Speaker 1: curl one day, which is thirty stones on the ice.
- 6:01Speaker 1: If you're not familiar with it's very simple, and so
- 6:04Speaker 1: I said, man, I'd like to give that a try.
- 6:10Speaker 1: I went in full well knowing I may not come
- 6:14Speaker 1: away from this little curling lesson as a person who
- 6:20Speaker 1: could make the Olympic team. I just wanted to try
- 6:22Speaker 1: it because I thought it looked cool and always wanted
- 6:25Speaker 1: to get it done. Well. I failed twice. I threw
- 6:28Speaker 1: a stone completely into the other lane. I lost that
- 6:33Speaker 1: little ice shoe shot out under me. But you know what,
- 6:37Speaker 1: I kept trying though. I kept trying until I got
- 6:41Speaker 1: four of them stones in that circle right where I ain't.
- 6:46Speaker 1: But now had I give it up after I failed,
- 6:50Speaker 1: after I threw that stone in the other lane, after
- 6:52Speaker 1: I shot my shoe down all the way to the
- 6:55Speaker 1: bottom side of the little ice shoe they give you.
- 6:57Speaker 1: I never did it, but because I was trying. Something
- 7:03Speaker 1: got me together a little bit because of my effort,
- 7:05Speaker 1: and it caused me not to fall the next time,
- 7:08Speaker 1: not to throw it in the other lane, not to
- 7:10Speaker 1: shoot my shoe to the back of the wall. All
- 7:13Speaker 1: of a sudden, my trying became something. Now had I
- 7:18Speaker 1: stayed out there and it wasn't so cold, and I
- 7:20Speaker 1: went back week after week after week after week. I
- 7:24Speaker 1: promise you I could get it done. I could at
- 7:29Speaker 1: least know how to compete in the game of curling.
- 7:33Speaker 1: Might not be the best. I might not win the championship,
- 7:36Speaker 1: but I could have got it done to the point
- 7:38Speaker 1: where I could have competed in the game of curling.
- 7:41Speaker 1: So sometimes if you're scared to say I'm gonna get
- 7:44Speaker 1: it done, just go out there and get started. You know,
- 7:48Speaker 1: learn from every attempt that you make. See, don't quit
- 7:52Speaker 1: writing yourself off as a failure every time something don't
- 7:55Speaker 1: go right. When I failed on that ice, I could
- 7:58Speaker 1: have said, man, I can't curl, but hold up, man,
- 8:00Speaker 1: I'm watching for other women out here, curl for other dudes.
- 8:03Speaker 1: I did crying little kids out did curling. Hold up pardner.
- 8:07Speaker 1: You know, man, So I learned when I threw that
- 8:10Speaker 1: stone on the other ice, when I when I failed,
- 8:12Speaker 1: when when my shoe shot off, I learned from every
- 8:16Speaker 1: attempt a little bit more about it. And then I
- 8:21Speaker 1: said to myself at one point time, man, I'm gonna
- 8:23Speaker 1: get the stone in that circle. I'm gonna get this
- 8:26Speaker 1: stone in this circle. And guess what I got it done.
- 8:32Speaker 1: Now what you're saying to me, Steve, I'm saying to
- 8:35Speaker 1: you that you gotta get started, that you gotta put
- 8:38Speaker 1: forth an ever give God something to bless Oh God,
- 8:41Speaker 1: bless me, Oh God, bless me, bless you? What? Bless you? Where?
- 8:46Speaker 1: Bless you? How? Stop basing your results on what you're thinking.
- 8:50Speaker 1: You gotta think higher. You get God in your life, man,
- 8:54Speaker 1: He allows you to think higher, bigger, better more. I'm
- 8:59Speaker 1: sitting up here my debt. I came up with a
- 9:01Speaker 1: plan to get out of debt in five years. I
- 9:03Speaker 1: came up with this plan, right. I was sitting up
- 9:06Speaker 1: and I was tripping on it. Now. I said, wait
- 9:08Speaker 1: a minute, man, hold up, and this is what I
- 9:10Speaker 1: came up with. I said, God created heaven and earth,
- 9:16Speaker 1: all of it, the mountains, the sky, the valleys, the oceans, trees,
- 9:22Speaker 1: the birds, all of this. Man, Mount Everest, the Gobi Desert,
- 9:29Speaker 1: the Indian Ocean, all of it. Made all of it
- 9:32Speaker 1: in six days, and then he rested on the seventh.
- 9:38Speaker 1: So why am I taking to God the five year plan?
- 9:43Speaker 1: If he can create heaven and Earth in six days,
- 9:48Speaker 1: why am I walking in there talking about helped me
- 9:50Speaker 1: in five years? How is it gonna take God five
- 9:55Speaker 1: years to getting me out of debt? And he made
- 9:58Speaker 1: heaven and Earth in six days? Do the math? Hill, Man,
- 10:02Speaker 1: I ain't that big. You ain't that big. You ain't
- 10:05Speaker 1: in that much trouble. I ain't in that much trouble. See,
- 10:09Speaker 1: God got a way of showing you some things, man,
- 10:11Speaker 1: but it's gonna take some faith, and faith gonna take
- 10:14Speaker 1: some effort on your part. Man, get out and do something. Man,
- 10:18Speaker 1: you God to bless you a little bit and give
- 10:20Speaker 1: you a little bit more courage. And then all them
- 10:22Speaker 1: attempts you making is gonna and all that. So I'll try.
- 10:25Speaker 1: You know what that turned into. I'm gonna get it done.
- 10:28Speaker 1: And at the end of the day, that's what you
- 10:30Speaker 1: have to do, because trying to pay your rent and
- 10:33Speaker 1: not paying your rent it's two different things. You could
- 10:37Speaker 1: you can try to play your pay your rent, or
- 10:39Speaker 1: you can get it done. Now, how long you think
- 10:41Speaker 1: you're gonna stay in that house trying. You got to
- 10:43Speaker 1: go with the mindset of getting it done. And if
- 10:45Speaker 1: you can put some stuff out there and give God
- 10:48Speaker 1: a chance to put his finger on and bless it
- 10:50Speaker 1: for you the most stuff he can do for you.
- 10:52Speaker 1: Quit looking around whether everybody else gotten, gonna get some
- 10:54Speaker 1: of it for yourself. Okay, all right, you're listening, ladies
- 11:02Speaker 1: and gentlemen, man have your attention please. This is the

- 23:06Speaker 1: to really like it. Well, thank you, thank you. What
- 23:08Speaker 1: can I do for you today? It was a bit
- 23:10Speaker 1: of a situation with um. You know, it's been brought
- 23:12Speaker 1: to our attention. We actually had a small gathering, a
- 23:15Speaker 1: little meeting about it and wanted to I've been elected
- 23:17Speaker 1: to actually give you a call. Who is this? I'm sorry,
- 23:21Speaker 1: who are you? King? Brother full of uh huh and
- 23:24Speaker 1: and who had a meeting uh some of the brothers
- 23:28Speaker 1: at the church and and uh path to actually sad
- 23:30Speaker 1: in for a moment on it. And I was actually
- 23:33Speaker 1: elected to actually just give you a call and nothing
- 23:35Speaker 1: that I don't think we can't get rectified and you know,
- 23:38Speaker 1: move on slouthly as we normally do. But I just
- 23:41Speaker 1: think it's we wanted to reach out to you and
- 23:43Speaker 1: kind of make you aware of it. If it's if
- 23:45Speaker 1: you don't mind, okay, um, And what things are those? Well?
- 23:50Speaker 1: Sinceter Tana. Has any of the praise dances before they
- 23:56Speaker 1: became praise dances? Was was was any of them strippers?
- 24:02Speaker 1: I beg your pardners. Was any of the praise dancers
- 24:06Speaker 1: that at the church that you have on the praise
- 24:09Speaker 1: team right now with any of them strippers in the past.
- 24:12Speaker 1: I'm sorry, sir, I don't I don't really know who
- 24:14Speaker 1: you are, um, and I don't really understand this line
- 24:17Speaker 1: of question. But like I said, i'm brother full. I
- 24:19Speaker 1: don't think we've met. But uh, like I said, I've
- 24:22Speaker 1: been elected to give you a call. Not now. It
- 24:24Speaker 1: seems like what happened is this past week when you
- 24:27Speaker 1: all actually uh danced, it seemed like a couple of
- 24:30Speaker 1: the girls was actually gy raiding during the praise routine. Hey,
- 24:35Speaker 1: what chat rating brother for? I don't know who you are,
- 24:38Speaker 1: and I don't know what you saw. None of my girls,
- 24:41Speaker 1: which I rating, they were dancing for the lord. And
- 24:44Speaker 1: I think if you look through your lord's I perhaps
- 24:46Speaker 1: you would see them better instead of maybe you were
- 24:48Speaker 1: looking through the chat rating. No, No, she's a couple
- 24:52Speaker 1: of the girls. We can point them out. A couple
- 24:53Speaker 1: of them have uh strip girl tendencies of it then,
- 24:57Speaker 1: because some of them has been girls dead to see
- 25:00Speaker 1: you know what, sir, I think we need to complete
- 25:04Speaker 1: this call tramps. I need to compet ship and speak
- 25:06Speaker 1: to him myself, because you know, I don't know what
- 25:08Speaker 1: you do all days, but I have a real job
- 25:10Speaker 1: and I'm sitting here holding the conversation in my office
- 25:12Speaker 1: about jar rating strippers in the church. Are you kidding me? Listen? Now,
- 25:17Speaker 1: here's a couple of the things that that they're talking about,
- 25:19Speaker 1: because some of the girls feet a real ass you
- 25:22Speaker 1: when you all a performance and they want to see
- 25:24Speaker 1: and maybe you can you can. I don't know. Maybe
- 25:26Speaker 1: I don't know if y'all need to grip or whatever
- 25:28Speaker 1: that y'all don't. Y'all don't put lotion on. We're not
- 25:31Speaker 1: sure what that is. As well as the totally u filers.
- 25:35Speaker 1: Everybody has three, four, five different designs and everything is it?
- 25:39Speaker 1: Any way, y'all can be in unison with you're totally
- 25:42Speaker 1: upon us. But the most important thing if the jar
- 25:45Speaker 1: rating doing the dance routine. I don't know what your
- 25:48Speaker 1: feet look like. I don't need you calling me talking
- 25:50Speaker 1: to me about my girls their feet, their nail powers.
- 25:53Speaker 1: Perhaps your man should be on Jesus instead of on them.
- 25:56Speaker 1: How about that, mynd have time, I don't have time,
- 26:01Speaker 1: but I don't want your mama and to be on
- 26:03Speaker 1: Jesus when somebody's shaking them. But at the church, that's
- 26:06Speaker 1: the problem, you know what. Look, I'm at work now,
- 26:08Speaker 1: I'm trying to keep a work tone. You're gonna make
- 26:11Speaker 1: me curse up there. Now, let me tell you something.
- 26:13Speaker 1: Don't call me anymore. I will deal with pastor. If
- 26:16Speaker 1: he has something to say with me, he can say
- 26:17Speaker 1: it to me personally. But I'm done with this conversation.
- 26:20Speaker 1: Are you gonna deal with the JI rating? Is what
- 26:22Speaker 1: we want to know? Maybe you know what it just
- 26:25Speaker 1: hit me. Maybe you're one of the ones that's doing
- 26:28Speaker 1: the GI rate. Look, let me tell you something. My
- 26:30Speaker 1: girls aren't going to rain, and neither am I. Now
- 26:33Speaker 1: I am done with this conversation. Do you understand? But listen,
- 26:36Speaker 1: I'm done or you're done with this rating. That's what
- 26:38Speaker 1: we want to stop so we can We can't praise
- 26:41Speaker 1: the Lord if the boot isn't shake. You know what, chirt, Look,
- 26:45Speaker 1: I gotta go to work. I gotta go now again.
- 26:48Speaker 1: I don't know what your issue is. It's out to
- 26:50Speaker 1: me like you have an issue which I rating booties?
- 26:52Speaker 1: And I heard so much gyrating booties in one conversation
- 26:55Speaker 1: in my entire life. Now my mand is set on Jesus,
- 26:58Speaker 1: I don't know what You're man is set on what
- 26:59Speaker 1: the two on you? Before you was a praise thence
- 27:01Speaker 1: uh the ministry over the ministry? Did you all used
- 27:05Speaker 1: to strip? You didn't do no striping? Now did your
- 27:08Speaker 1: wife do any strip? And what did your mom gonna
- 27:10Speaker 1: do any striping? What what you heard? What I said you?
- 27:14Speaker 1: How do you like doing? Somebody call? You would ask
- 27:16Speaker 1: you if your mamma get some script? And how do
- 27:17Speaker 1: you like that? You know what? I want to know?
- 27:20Speaker 1: When is the next rehearsal? That the way I can
- 27:22Speaker 1: come and pick out who it is that's doing this town.
- 27:25Speaker 1: You don't have You don't have any business at my rehearsal.
- 27:27Speaker 1: I don't want to see you at my rehearsal. I
- 27:28Speaker 1: don't want to. I don't want to see any part
- 27:30Speaker 1: for you in my rehearse if I see you near
- 27:32Speaker 1: one of my girls. That's why I'm coming after you myself.
- 27:33Speaker 1: Do you understand me? You need to find out who's
- 27:35Speaker 1: doing that job? Say you need to say your body
- 27:39Speaker 1: your own high. And I'm glad y'all ain't this and
- 27:41Speaker 1: when the latest being played? Because it ain't no telling
- 27:44Speaker 1: her you act with them? One's coming through it? You
- 27:46Speaker 1: know what? That's it? That's it. You called me disrespecting me.
- 27:49Speaker 1: I'm at work. I can't even have this more. You
- 27:51Speaker 1: know what, don't call me no more. Don't look at
- 27:53Speaker 1: my girls no more. Man, come to the church and
- 27:55Speaker 1: see what I got for you. I don't want to know.
- 27:57Speaker 1: Is you're gonna stop the job rating? What is gonna do? Move?
- 28:00Speaker 1: And that's what you talking to like that you're supposed
- 28:05Speaker 1: to be. I'm gonna say, yeah, let's have dined. Listen
- 28:08Speaker 1: to tell you now I'm getting ready to get when
- 28:10Speaker 1: I got one more thing to say to you? Pol
- 28:12Speaker 1: your leave? How you ain't got a thing to say
- 28:14Speaker 1: to me? I said I was dealing, and I said,
- 28:16Speaker 1: I got one more thing to say? Is you list
- 28:17Speaker 1: you know what? Man, get off of my phone. I'm
- 28:19Speaker 1: gonna say it anyway. This is nephew timent from the
- 28:23Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. Your entire praise and ministry congregation,
- 28:28Speaker 1: all your girls got me the frank phone called you.
- 28:33Speaker 1: Oh I'm a shot for real. Oh I think I'm

- 33:38Speaker 1: don't know. It is scary if you've never been through
- 33:41Speaker 1: the earthquake. People naked. I was naked, halfway naked. No,
- 33:47Speaker 1: I wasn't because I like to take my shirt off
- 33:49Speaker 1: when I'm sitting down, because you don't want to wrinkle it,
- 33:51Speaker 1: don't want to rankle it. But I keep my shoes

- 35:09Speaker 1: lovely talented Mr. And Shrew. Thanks Steve, Thanks guys, Good
- 35:13Speaker 1: morning everybody. This is a troop with the news, and
- 35:14Speaker 1: let's start out with what happened at around three am
- 35:17Speaker 1: this morning. The three Korean Americans released by North Korea
- 35:20Speaker 1: yesterday arrived back on US soil early this morning, along
- 35:24Speaker 1: the Secretary State Mike Pompeo, and President Trump and the
- 35:27Speaker 1: Vice President were on hand to greet them at Andrews
- 35:30Speaker 1: Air Force Base. We're starting off on a new footing.
- 35:33Speaker 1: This is a wonderful thing that he released the folks early.
- 35:38Speaker 1: That was a big thing, very important to me, and
- 35:41Speaker 1: I really think we have a very good chance of
- 35:43Speaker 1: doing something very meaningful. And if anybody would have said
- 35:47Speaker 1: that five years ago, ten years ago, even a year ago,
- 35:52Speaker 1: you would have said that stuff possible. So a lot,
- 35:55Speaker 1: I will say this, a lot of very good things
- 35:57Speaker 1: have happened. One of the three, Manager Port, a businessman
- 36:00Speaker 1: who's been held for spying. The other two working with
- 36:03Speaker 1: peoon Yang University for Science and Technology, and all three
- 36:06Speaker 1: were released after Secretary State Pompeo made a visit to
- 36:09Speaker 1: pyong Yang to finalize the plans for a face to
- 36:11Speaker 1: face meeting between Kim John Un and President Trump. The
- 36:14Speaker 1: Dayton location. They say the meeting is going to be
- 36:16Speaker 1: announced the next couple of days. The President mentioned that
- 36:19Speaker 1: he thought the demilitarized zone would be perfect. However, Singapore
- 36:22Speaker 1: is now being mentioned as the place. By the way.
- 36:24Speaker 1: A new CNN poll shows that seventy of Americans are
- 36:28Speaker 1: in favor of Trump's meeting with Kim John Un, and
- 36:30Speaker 1: fifty three are in support of the way Donald Trump's
- 36:33Speaker 1: been handling the Korean situation. The President's dominee, by the way,
- 36:37Speaker 1: to have the CIA face to battery questions. Yesterday her
- 36:39Speaker 1: confirmation hearing, members of the Senate Intelligence Committee pelted Gina
- 36:43Speaker 1: Haskell with questions, most of which having to do with
- 36:46Speaker 1: her involvement with post nine eleven CIA interrogation and detention
- 36:50Speaker 1: program techniques that employed water boarding and other brutal techniques.
- 36:55Speaker 1: Things are getting worse, not better. On the Big Island
- 36:57Speaker 1: of Hawaii. Authorities say there was a big explosion inside
- 36:59Speaker 1: the already erupt and kill away a volcano. Scientists say
- 37:02Speaker 1: is probably just the first in a series of larger
- 37:04Speaker 1: blasts that could start propelling more ash and rocks from
- 37:07Speaker 1: the crater. Twenty eight more people have been sickened over
- 37:10Speaker 1: the just past week as a result of that's still
- 37:13Speaker 1: hard to pin down outbreak of E Coli infections linked
- 37:16Speaker 1: to romaine lettuce, a health officials saying don't eat remain
- 37:19Speaker 1: lettuce unless you know it's not from the humor area
- 37:22Speaker 1: growing area in the way can Bill Cosby's recent sexual
- 37:24Speaker 1: assault conviction. Washington's Candy Center has taken back its metal
- 37:29Speaker 1: to one of water to him, and also it's taken
- 37:31Speaker 1: back to two thousand nine Mark Twain Prize for American Humor.
- 37:34Speaker 1: And finally today's National Clean Up Your Room Day, which
- 37:37Speaker 1: could be dangerous. That's how mine goes. We'll be back
- 37:43Speaker 1: with more entertainment and today's trending topics twenty minutes after
- 37:46Speaker 1: the hour and the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening
- 37:48Speaker 1: to the Steve haw Kanye can now leave Calabasas without
- 37:54Speaker 1: fear of a beat down at the hand of the crypts. Okay,
- 37:57Speaker 1: it was previously reported that Kanye made the hall to
- 38:00Speaker 1: file for a restraining order and beef up security after
- 38:03Speaker 1: a Dog Pound member Dad's Dillinger ordered gang members to
- 38:07Speaker 1: put hands on Kanye when and if they see him
- 38:09Speaker 1: in the streets. During his controversial appearance on TMZ Live
- 38:13Speaker 1: last week, Kanye didn't appear to uh, he didn't appear
- 38:16Speaker 1: to be shook over the security threat, and it turns
- 38:19Speaker 1: out he had no reason to be. TMZ reports that
- 38:21Speaker 1: the Long Beach cripts never intended to carry through and
- 38:24Speaker 1: as a threat, as gang leadership thinks, Kanye could actually
- 38:27Speaker 1: be a greater ally. Apparently, they want him to come
- 38:30Speaker 1: to the hood to help raise support for the area.
- 38:33Speaker 1: So there you go. Well, you know, look Kanye, Um, look,
- 38:43Speaker 1: I think Kanye deserves a pass here. Yes he does,
- 38:48Speaker 1: because you gotta understand what he said. What he has
- 38:53Speaker 1: to understand. This is not a rap out, This ain't
- 38:56Speaker 1: gangster wrap its cats out here in the streets. Man
- 38:59Speaker 1: really really doing this stuff. They're really really doing it
- 39:02Speaker 1: for real. I think it's really cool that the that
- 39:06Speaker 1: the older population of crips or whoever they are, have said, hey, man,
- 39:11Speaker 1: hold up, man, we could squash this right now because
- 39:13Speaker 1: that's a smart way to do it, because doing harm
- 39:16Speaker 1: to him does nothing. And then and and and this
- 39:19Speaker 1: is just an unintelligent way to bill create with you're
- 39:22Speaker 1: set by doing something to Kanye, It's it wouldn't make
- 39:26Speaker 1: any sense because now your life is for ever ruined.
- 39:29Speaker 1: And so you know, I just think it's a cool thing.
- 39:31Speaker 1: I think that, you know, we've got to get past
- 39:33Speaker 1: this right here. I think we've gonna have to led
- 39:35Speaker 1: Kanye off the hook. He said it, you know, but
- 39:37Speaker 1: Kanye is not your leader. Kanye is not your he's
- 39:41Speaker 1: not your end all. Kanye is not the spokesperson for
- 39:45Speaker 1: black people. I'm done with it technic because I got
- 39:49Speaker 1: way a bit of stuff. You know, what's happening up
- 39:50Speaker 1: here in the White House for real, man day off,
- 39:54Speaker 1: they're tripping. I don't want anything bad to happen to him, definitely,
- 39:58Speaker 1: But still you can say stupid stuff and just think
- 40:01Speaker 1: people are gonna go give him a pass all the
- 40:04Speaker 1: time because he's not a comedian. Well, I think this
- 40:07Speaker 1: particular time, he really didn't mean, he really didn't mean
- 40:11Speaker 1: slavery was a choice. I cannot believe that that. I'm
- 40:16Speaker 1: not in his head. I'm not in his head, he
- 40:19Speaker 1: said it. That's what we're trying to figure out. What's
- 40:22Speaker 1: in there. We should invite him on the show. We
- 40:26Speaker 1: just did invite him on the Show's speaking of that.
- 40:29Speaker 1: He's going to be on Celebrity Family Feud. Okay, yeah
- 40:33Speaker 1: with Steve and he won't say something to a little
- 40:44Speaker 1: friends support him, all right? Coming up in about ten
- 40:56Speaker 1: minutes four half, we'll have comedy Roulette to We're gonna
- 41:00Speaker 1: spend the wheel and there's no telling what will happen next.
- 41:03Speaker 1: All right, So Steve Chick, you're listening to Steve Harvey
- 41:09Speaker 1: Morning Show. All right, Joy Anthony Brown is here with
- 41:13Speaker 1: comedy Roulette. What you got? It's so simple, it's very simple.
- 41:16Speaker 1: We have to explain. I know Steve gets upset, but
- 41:18Speaker 1: we have new listeners by the hour. By the hour
- 41:22Speaker 1: were actually, yeah, this ISMPI teenmi team. So it's comedy letting.
- 41:27Speaker 1: Here's how we do. We take five subjects, put them
- 41:30Speaker 1: on a wheel, fund the wheel. Look at me, Shirley
- 41:33Speaker 1: when I said fun fund the wheel, funding around and
- 41:38Speaker 1: around where it stops. We do the damn thing. All right,
- 41:42Speaker 1: here we go number one. So you're telling me you
- 41:44Speaker 1: don't know how you got naked pictures on your phone? Number?
- 41:51Speaker 1: The car always comes back on e alright? Number three?
- 41:58Speaker 1: What part of you on punishment do you not understand? Okay? Four,
- 42:04Speaker 1: I see that tooth missing? You see that tooth tasting?
- 42:07Speaker 1: How do you want to get it? Uh? Number five?
- 42:11Speaker 1: Nobody buys a bus pass just to be buying a bus. Okay,
- 42:17Speaker 1: bunn it, spin it cats, let's do Let's do that phone, baby,
- 42:23Speaker 1: let's do that phone. Oh what you like this one?
- 42:30Speaker 1: Number one landed on number one? Are you telling me
- 42:34Speaker 1: you don't know how you got naked pictures in your
- 42:37Speaker 1: have no idea how those pictures get? You know what?
- 42:40Speaker 1: This ain't my damn phone? Look at that prom phone.
- 42:49Speaker 1: Matter of fact, I don't know how well she really

- 46:56Speaker 1: are you doing? Okay, I'm doing good. But how you
- 46:58Speaker 1: how you get my another? One of the neighbors on
- 47:01Speaker 1: your block gave me the number. Man. We was we
- 47:02Speaker 1: were having a little situation. Wanted to reach out to you, uh,
- 47:06Speaker 1: some stuff going on here in the neighborhood, man, and
- 47:08Speaker 1: wanted to try to make you aware of it, well,
- 47:10Speaker 1: what's going on? Uh? It seemed like, um, well, you
- 47:14Speaker 1: know the trash man run on on Tuesday and Saturday
- 47:19Speaker 1: right now. The problem is that that that that a
- 47:23Speaker 1: lot of people, I guess since the holiday just passed,
- 47:25Speaker 1: you know a lot of people got their stuff out
- 47:26Speaker 1: on the on the curve already right right now. The
- 47:32Speaker 1: problem is that that that they're saying, man, is that
- 47:34Speaker 1: yo yo, trash is actually really really foul and smelling
- 47:39Speaker 1: and smelling pretty bad. And we wanted to call you,
- 47:41Speaker 1: man and see if you do not hold on, hold on,
- 47:43Speaker 1: hold on. You say you calling me because you snail
- 47:47Speaker 1: my trash? Well, yeah, they say, yours is the one
- 47:50Speaker 1: that's really speaking man. If you could actually maybe put
- 47:53Speaker 1: it in, put it back in the in the in

- 48:15Speaker 1: take Okay? What what? What? What? We we we've discussed
- 48:18Speaker 1: that too. Well, listen, listen, we don't want no trouble man.
- 48:21Speaker 1: If we could just get you to put your trays back,
- 48:23Speaker 1: and I'm not moving over Chad, I paid rent over here,
- 48:26Speaker 1: my brother. Hey, we're not gonna go back, and I'm
- 48:29Speaker 1: not gonna go back. Don't give what you're gonna do.
- 48:31Speaker 1: I'm telling you what I paid rent that. Don't tell
- 48:34Speaker 1: me to just over here. Okay, Well listen, man, aren't
- 48:37Speaker 1: you concerned that your trash is thinking and reading through
- 48:39Speaker 1: the whole neighborhood. I don't give a damn off who
- 48:42Speaker 1: smell my chances they got a problem with it, telling
- 48:44Speaker 1: them come take it out still the end and saying
- 48:46Speaker 1: out there, okay, whether that's the problem. The problem is
- 48:49Speaker 1: that you took it out, and you took it out
- 48:51Speaker 1: too early. You should have put listen out till Tuesday morning.
- 48:54Speaker 1: And that's who we who say I mony fd if
- 48:57Speaker 1: I put it out there and saying out yesterday, get it.

- 49:12Speaker 1: the street. I don't know for my understanding, it's just
- 49:16Speaker 1: a couple of holes in it and some food or
- 49:18Speaker 1: something much that got out. I don't know if one
- 49:20Speaker 1: of the roads or dog got into what the case
- 49:22Speaker 1: may be. But you know, we need to try to
- 49:24Speaker 1: get your trash in the backyard. My trash ain't going

- 49:44Speaker 1: you and he you my phone. I'm thinking that there
- 49:49Speaker 1: it ain't going to okay. Well, listen, let's swerve. This
- 49:52Speaker 1: is what we decide on the case. We got to
- 49:54Speaker 1: this situation with you touch that. I just come over

- 50:00Speaker 1: just Tuesday morning and tunesday morning, I'll come back over
- 50:03Speaker 1: there and take it out that way. All the smell

- 50:10Speaker 1: your backyard, so to so the smell that I mean,
- 50:14Speaker 1: that's that. Let me say, let me take you to say,
- 50:17Speaker 1: if you come over here, you might well called police

- 50:30Speaker 1: Don't smell, man, you don't give them if it's men.
- 50:32Speaker 1: I'll tell you what I do. I go out of
- 50:34Speaker 1: pool By when that where that when they helped you
- 50:36Speaker 1: out of Look okay, but see that's not what the
- 50:40Speaker 1: people in the neighborhood want. We want you to give
- 50:42Speaker 1: a damn what they won't. I'm telling you what I'm
- 50:44Speaker 1: gonna do. And how did you get my phone over
- 50:47Speaker 1: any down? I'd already told you, man, I got your
- 50:50Speaker 1: number for one of the neighbors on your street that
- 50:51Speaker 1: said they don't want to get should have left to
- 50:55Speaker 1: the right. Which one? Listen, listen, listen, swear won't you
- 50:59Speaker 1: get to the need of the problem. The problem is
- 51:01Speaker 1: your trash. Think don't how is my chance? How to
- 51:04Speaker 1: hell y'all pillpoint my saying now to everybody else trads
- 51:07Speaker 1: on block and how to hell you smell? I don't know, man,
- 51:10Speaker 1: I don't know what of it. I don't know if
- 51:12Speaker 1: you're trads busted, don't pen up what the deal is.
- 51:14Speaker 1: But everybody's saying. Everybody's saying it swerve trash, that that
- 51:18Speaker 1: stuk that's too much lands and needs to be gone
- 51:21Speaker 1: thro time. And see what I think. It's that chang

- 51:26Speaker 1: it ain't come get it, and you ain't coming over
- 51:28Speaker 1: there now. Let's see that's where you run swam out.

- 55:52Speaker 1: is the Strawberry Letter. Object he had Me fooled. Dear
- 55:57Speaker 1: Stephen Shirley, I have been dating a guy for a year,
- 56:01Speaker 1: and he treats me really nice. We live in a
- 56:04Speaker 1: neighbor We live in neighboring states, but we're less than
- 56:06Speaker 1: an hour apart, so I wouldn't consider it a long
- 56:09Speaker 1: distance relationship. We see each other a few times a week,
- 56:13Speaker 1: and either I'm at his house or he's at mine
- 56:15Speaker 1: on the weekend. I assumed we were in an exclusive,
- 56:19Speaker 1: admitted relationship until recently. The other day, he was trying
- 56:24Speaker 1: to show me a picture on his phone and he
- 56:26Speaker 1: mistakenly pulled up a picture of another woman. He tried
- 56:31Speaker 1: to quickly swipe pass picture. He just did it. He
- 56:40Speaker 1: tried to quickly swipe pass a picture, but he knew
- 56:44Speaker 1: I had seen it. I didn't make a fuss about
- 56:46Speaker 1: the picture. I asked him to delete it, and he did.
- 56:50Speaker 1: But seeing the woman's picture on his phone made me
- 56:53Speaker 1: wonder about the nature of our relationship, so I asked
- 56:57Speaker 1: him if we were exclusive. His response broke my heart.
- 57:01Speaker 1: He stated that before he met me, he was in
- 57:04Speaker 1: a very serious relationship and had had a bad breakup.
- 57:08Speaker 1: He said he was not ready to be in another
- 57:10Speaker 1: relationship right now. Can you believe that I have I
- 57:14Speaker 1: have met this man's entire family and we all get
- 57:17Speaker 1: along great. He had me fooled. I will admit that
- 57:20Speaker 1: I'm not ready to be married right now, but I
- 57:23Speaker 1: still want to date with a purpose and not just
- 57:25Speaker 1: be wasting time on this man. So is the committed
- 57:29Speaker 1: relationship title just to play on words. I don't want
- 57:32Speaker 1: to stop seeing this man. But I did hear him
- 57:34Speaker 1: loud and clear when he said he's not ready. What
- 57:37Speaker 1: should I do? Well? What should you do? What do
- 57:40Speaker 1: you want? I mean, really, what do you want in
- 57:42Speaker 1: this relationship or out of this relationship? You said you
- 57:45Speaker 1: don't want to get married right now. You said you
- 57:48Speaker 1: do want to date with a purpose. So if that's
- 57:50Speaker 1: what you want, you gotta let him know that. But
- 57:53Speaker 1: he's already told you, and you said you heard him
- 57:55Speaker 1: loudly and clearly that he's not ready to be in
- 57:57Speaker 1: a committed relationship. So you have to make the decision.
- 58:01Speaker 1: This is entirely up to you. You've been dating this
- 58:03Speaker 1: man for a whole year. Now again, what do you want?
- 58:07Speaker 1: If you don't want it to continue like this? You
- 58:10Speaker 1: have choices. You can either get out of the relationship,
- 58:14Speaker 1: or you can just change some things in the way
- 58:16Speaker 1: you deal with him. If you're thinking it's a committed
- 58:19Speaker 1: relationship and it's not, Uh, maybe you should start seeing
- 58:22Speaker 1: other people, or you know, or something like that. Maybe
- 58:25Speaker 1: you should really do what you want to do, but
- 58:27Speaker 1: first you need to find out what that is. You
- 58:29Speaker 1: say you don't want to be married, but you do
- 58:31Speaker 1: want to date with a purpose. He's not ready to
- 58:33Speaker 1: do either of those things. So maybe he's just not
- 58:36Speaker 1: the guy for you at this time. Steve, I don't know.
- 58:42Speaker 1: I kind of see this a little bit differently here.
- 58:45Speaker 1: I have a different take because from the male perspective,
- 58:48Speaker 1: I can really kind of understand what this dude to say. Um,
- 58:54Speaker 1: let's go over the letter a little bit here. Uh,
- 58:58Speaker 1: I've been dating this man for body. He's really nice.
- 59:02Speaker 1: We live in neighboring states, so you don't consider long
- 59:04Speaker 1: this relationship. You're at his house several times a weekend.
- 59:07Speaker 1: He's at your house several times a weekend. You in
- 59:09Speaker 1: mind he's at mine on the weekends. Here we go.
- 59:13Speaker 1: I assumed we were in an exclusive, committed relationship until
- 59:18Speaker 1: recently the other day. Now, let's go over this asson
- 59:23Speaker 1: what did they tell you all the time about as soon?
- 59:26Speaker 1: Assuming usually makes an ass out of you and me.
- 59:31Speaker 1: That's what assumed. Is now what has happened is you've assumed.
- 59:35Speaker 1: You spent a year. You could have verbally got this,
- 59:38Speaker 1: You could have this conversation a long time ago. You
- 59:41Speaker 1: never bought it up. You assumed and tilled. The other day,
- 59:46Speaker 1: he was trying to show me a pitch on his
- 59:47Speaker 1: phone and he mistakenly pulled a pitch of another woman.
- 59:51Speaker 1: God he when he with this. As soon as his
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: thumb hit that he felt for him. He blinked. He
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: took a heavy blink. He was trying to swipe. He
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: swiped hasard, but his thumb was shaken. She saw it.
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: After she saw the picture, and he knew you saw it.
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: You didn't make a fuss about it, Okay, mature woman.
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: I asked him to delete it, and he did, no problem, Okay,
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: I'm out. Yeah, let me take that out because if
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: that picture could have been a year old, you never know.
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: You just don't know. So he deleted the picture. But
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: it made me wonder about the nature of our relationship.
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: So I asked him if we were exclusive. His response
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: broke my heart. He stated that before he met me,
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: he was in a very serious relationship and had a
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: bad break up. Now, let me ask you something you
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: didn't You didn't know that a year you you didn't
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: know that he was in a serious relationship and he
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: had a bad breakup a year and this response startled you.
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: A year of assuming you were exclusive, you didn't bring
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: that up. Now he tells you for the first time,
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: he was in a serious relationship, had a bad break
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: up a year before. You didn't met his family. I
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: got all that, YadA, YadA, YadA. That's good, But damn,
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: this is really kinda on you too. Now he said
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: he was not ready to be in another relationship right now, serious,
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: full blown, committed relationship. Then you try to fix it.
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: Then you go, can you believe that? Yeah, y'all believe
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: ya believe The problem is why you're having a hard
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: time believe it. But if you had heard this information
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: a year ago, nine months ago, maybe you would have
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: made some other decisions. I met this man is in
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: toime family. We get along, greade, He had me food.
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: He didn't fool you. This man ain't fooled you at all.
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: This man ain't lied to you, This man ain't deceived you.
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: He didn't fool you. You are soon then after a year,
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: you asked him when you exclusive? He said he was
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: in a bad relationship. Man, lady, he didn't fool you.
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: Stop saying this about him. You trick yourself. I'll tell
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: you why. I right, a trick yourself, all right, tricky?
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: All right. We're gonna have part two of Steve's response
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: coming up at twenty three after the hour you're listening
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: to Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, Steve, come on,
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: let's get to part two of your response to today's
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: Strawberry letter subject he had me fooled? Well, he didn't
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: have you fool You've been dating this man for a year.
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: Treat you really nice. You live in neighboring states, no
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: more than our part, so it's really not long dis relationship.
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: You need at his house and he at yours on
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: the weekend. All doing the week I assumed we were
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: an exclusive, committed relationship. I told you about a sumer.
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: You should not have assumed. He's trying to show you
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: a picture on his phone, and he mistakenly pulled up
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: a picture of another woman. God God, I passed out
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: for a minute. Really yeah, I'm trying to jump off
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: a feeling for him. You should have dropped that phone
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: down a sewer. He should, all right, so he tried
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: to quickly swipe past it hit you, but he knew
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: I had seen it. I ain't making fuss about the peach.
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: I asked him to delete it, and he did. But
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: seeing the woman's pitching his phone, it kind of made
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: you wonder. So I asked him, were we exclusive after
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: a year? A year? His response broke a heart. He
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: stated that before he met me he was in a
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: very serious relationship and had a bad break up. How
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: y'all just talking about this after him? He said he
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: was not ready for another relationship right now? How y'all
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: just talking about this after year? Then you ask me,
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: can you believe that? Yeah, if you ain't never talked
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: about it, don't assume nothing about a minute. You have
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: every right to want to know where your life is going. Ladies,
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: and I have told you this over and over and over.
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: You have the right to ask a man what is
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: going on here? He will tell you. Now he told you,
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: and yes, I can't believe that, but you can't believe
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: it because you assume something else. So now I have
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: met this man's in time family. We all get along great.
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: That means he cares about you. He'd took you to
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: me this fan. He had me fool No, he didn't.
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: You fooled yourself because all you you would have had
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: this conversation that you had just now. You could have
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: had this conversation eleven months ago, ten months ago, you
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: could have easily had that. Now here here, go to park.
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: I will admit that I'm not ready to be married
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: right now? Okay, cool? So what you're tripping form? He
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: ain't ready, You ain't ready, but you'are having a good
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: time going and continue the relationship. He's not ready and
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: you're not ready. So now that you've done through that,
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: bone to the dog. But she wants to date with purpose.
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: Don't forget that. I'm gonna get to that. But I
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: still want to date with a purpose and not just
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: be wasting time on this man. Y'all are dating with
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: a purpose. You all have found each other. Neither one
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: of you are ready to be in a Uh. You
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: don't want to be married. He ain't ready to be
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: in the no serious relationship. But y'all in something, ain't
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: you getting something out of it? And he getting something
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: out of it? Y'all in something? What y'all need to
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: do is sit down and define what it is you
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: in because you're in it now, you've been in it
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: for a year. You in something. It's just y'all ain't
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: got no time. You ain't his fiance. You're too old
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: to be a girl friend, but right now you're his girlfriend.
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: You're his girl and y'all friends, and you have met
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: his family. Too old be somebody damn girlfriend. So you
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: want to date with a purpose? He dating with a purpose.
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: He getting what he wants. You're dating with a purpose.
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: You're getting what you want. It's just assumed. You assumed
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: you want had more, but you just said you ain't
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: even ready for it. He said it, But I still
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: want to date with the person, not just be wasted.
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: So it's the committed in quotation. The committed relationship title
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: just a play on words. You never had this conversation
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: with the man until now, committed relationship. He didn't say
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: he didn't want to be in a committed relationship. He
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: said he didn't want to be in a serious relationship.
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: That's a difference. You could be committed to somebody and
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: not be serious. Hello, what preach on it? I'm gonna
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: just tell you. You could be in a committed relationship
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: and not be sick. I don't want to stop seeing
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: this man, but I do. Hear him loud and clear
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: when he said he's not ready, but you said you
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: wasn't ready. That's somebody lying, somebody lying in this letter.
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: He's not ready, you're not ready. Why don't y'all make
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: it work? Define your relationship, find out what it is,
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: and see if it were ever lead to anything, what
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: you could possibly do. But then guess what, Since you
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: heard him loud and clear, he may not be ready
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: for a serious relationship for a long time. Hollong and
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: let me play something else. Deleting the picture don't mean
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: she gonna what come out? Don't, I don't, don't don't
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: boom shot stop. Somebody listened to me, just caused the
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: picture got deleted. Don't mean she gonne sometime in the
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: mind member lingles sometimes. Yeah, you can't shake it, Yeah,
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: ain't shake it. I don't, I don't. I don't want
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: to cry. Yeah, you gotta have a stick. I just
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: told you. I don't want to sing anyway. You're gonna
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: get your black ass, put out your chick for just
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: a second. I'll go back to what I say, Come
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: on here, please let me sometime even without the picture. Yeah,
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: dare's a movie playing in your mind sometime. Yeah, trying
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: to start nothing, trying to get some clarity. Yeah, on
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: what we have. I spent the whole damn break telling
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: the quad didn't need him, and now we out of time. Yes, Steve,
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: you are still right. We gotta get out of here.
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: Beat damn. We gotta go email us or Instagram. That's
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: your thoughts at my girls shurely on today's Strawberry Letter,
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: and don't forget to make sure you join me today

- 1:11:01Speaker 1: up by crab legs and pink chaf fail with Russian money.
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: You ain't hurt, man. I'm over there buying wings and weeds.
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: That's right here. We come in and hurt. I got rushing.
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: Listens to me, I'm paying my rent Russian money. I'm
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: buying medicinal marijuana with Russia. Funey crazy? How could I
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: be down? The Russia's don't never drop none of that
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: money in the black neighborhood. Did you mention the Russians
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: were giving money? Charlotte, We'll be out there. It's the
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: first of the rust. The Rusted ain't that bad. I
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: pay out my student loans, my car payment. Oh, I'll
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: be over to Savoy making it right. Baby. I'd buy
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: out the whole jay spot. Everybody get it free. If
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: we drink a top shelflet that in Russian. Still you
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: track falls for everybody, Tommy, Tommy, we're getting Russian caviat
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: because you know they got the good stuff. They squeeze
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: that egg right out and fish. I'm buying Steve Harvey
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: hats and suits. Then SHIRLEYE. Carlin, We're gonna shop it. Yeah,
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: go over to the fox of them all and kill it.
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: We're gonna stop over at b J get out something
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: to going to Phillips Babba Killer. It's gonna be so
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: much food. We're gonna go over to J and J
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: fish and docks. Not a fact. You know what? Because
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: I got Russian money, I can rent a jet and
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: we fly all over the country and all we do
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: is eat and party and gamble and then guess what.
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: Guess where we're gonna stop said this so bad said
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: that Russian body does. I'm gonna have a dude with
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: an umbrella and another dude gonna be rubbing baby all
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: on my labs because I'm tipping it Russian. I'm gonna
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: make that Russian money stretched. All right, Thank you, Cheryl
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: as always tipping in tipping. She talking about the Russian money. Well, okay,
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: now hold on, let me ask something because I let
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: you'll do the keep. Yeah. Yeah, Now let me ask
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: your something because I've obviously been working in this this
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: whole Russian money story. Give me the background. Yes, I
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: was laughing at the day, Joe, here's a hers here
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: I called. Yes, the story with the Russian the dude,
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: the lawyer, that's the fixer, Michael Cohen. He got about
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: five hundred stacks of Russian mind president was a retainer,
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: but you ain't beginning money from a hostile government. So
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: everybody's seeing the mana for everybody, see what's happened if
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: the Mulla dude got them all caught up? You know
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: what I'm saying. A matter of fact, I think Bill
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: Doke gonna do the interrogation, you know, yeah, because they
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: got them all on the Russian money tip. And they
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: did it when the campaign was happening, and it seemed
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: to be a foreign hospital government, seemed to be putting
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: our government in a trick bag. So there fault when
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: the election was manipulated. Now, when I turned into a Republican,
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: the Republican, the election was manipulated. Nobody wants to admit that.
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: Really the Russians played us. And there's a lot of
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: people Democrats and Republican got the Russian money, but the
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: Democrats didn't get as much as to seem like the
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: Republicans guy, and they called us Steve. They got us.
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: I'm a claim Republicanism. They got us a trick bag.
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: So I'm just I'm just waiting for my Russian money.
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: It's they're paying Cohen to have access to the president. Really,
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: I think they were just handing off money and everybody.
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: And then they got old girl, then little find dime
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: piece that's supposed to be a Russian lawyer right there,
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: and then she acts like she don't really work for nobody.
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: Then you found out she really works. So they got
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: set up because you know, they always set you up
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: with a fine lady. You know what I'm saying. Yeah,
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: it's the honey pot. They always they always set you
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: up with that. So we got set up all the
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: way across the board. They were so greedy because they
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: was getting all that Russian money, because it used to
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: be that it was communist capital, communist money. But once
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: they started making money, the Russian finging up in here.
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: They're bawling in well, they're bawling out of control. So
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: they were putting the money through coin to make sure
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: they got to Trump but you and then making it
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: in deposits of nine hundred and nine and nine thounds.
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: That wouldn't be because that's the trigger right there. Yeah,
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: that's the boy. But the artists need to be taxing
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: all this money so the govern make a good day piece.
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: And then you know, I'm gonna pay my ties. I'm
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: gonna go over to faith for central and I tried
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: to cry my ties and Russian money, you know, make
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: it right in the telling. So did I answer the questions?
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: Did I answer question? Yeah? Background was for me and
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: for people listening, and for people listen that they didn't
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: know that they don't how much is it worth? Can
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: somebody go to the exchange and see it's a ruble
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: up against a dollar? You know? I tell you that
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: right now? Okay, tell me because you know the only
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: thing I know, Steve is the ghetto stock exchange. When
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: we used to flip a book? Is the E B
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: T card? Question? What is the Russian currents? It's a ruble?
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: I thought, are you right? What color was the twenty
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: was the twenty dollar food stamp? When I'm perfect? Yeah,
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: and you know how you flip it? J You're going
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: on with the meat place and wait right in front
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: of the meat place. That's when you exchange your money
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: moving maybe, yeah, you can move some money down there
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: with him stamps. That's right, that's right, because I stamp.
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: And how much do you want to convert from? Okay?
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: I got a hundred dollars? How can I go to
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: the casino? All right, we gotta go, Cheryl? Okay, working
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: out for me, Steve, I got a briefcase full of
- 1:17:12Speaker 1: rushing money, like my wife. Coming up is Carlin's Reality Updates.
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: You're listening to show. It's that time. Let's go here.
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: It is the one and only call Us Update. Okay,
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: so thank you, nephew. You know I was talking about
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: Blackish last week. You know I've been devastating having on.
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: You've been missing it? Somebody it involved? Yeah, so here anyway,
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: Drey and Ball are having problems. They still are having problems.
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: They still can't work it out. The family wants to
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: work it out. The kids are not handling it very well.
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: And their son, Junior, he graduated from high school. He
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: gave this great speech about family and commitment, and you
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: thought they were gonna work it out, and they didn't
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: work it out. And they're talking about they're breaking up
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: or something. Yeah, breaking up. That's where they are with it, Tommy,
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: That's exactly what happened. It's just arguing they didn't do anything.
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: They're just not getting along with this husband and wife
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: and they're they're exhausted. Nobody was cheating or nothing like that.
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: Why do you sound so happy? Happy? House out the
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: side of the house. They tried that and the kids
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: are just not handling the separation. Didn'tdre move out, but
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: Jake sounds so happy that they're breaking out, move out,
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: moved out, the same thing Jay did with his last wife.
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: You're trying to compare it. I did the same thing.
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: Change your name of the show. The one is breaking
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: up this ship, ready to make the US healthy. Yea, yeah,
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: So anyway, that's black is I'm gonna keep watching them
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: is Are they making it funny? It's no, it's some
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: serious moments. They have some comments. It's like the good
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: times up today, Okay, funny when she thinking that would
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: be going in exactly what's that about? Let him thrive?
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: We're still right, We're still right, but okay, still going on. Carlin,
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: All right, listen to this since it's Mother's Day. Mother's
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: Day is Sunday. Did you guys see the Mother's Day special,
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: Dear Mama was so good. I didn't see really good.
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: So I was hosted by Anthony Anderson. Speaking of black Is,
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: she was hosted by Anderson and La La Anthony and
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: the show was honoring mother's Tianna Taylor. She honored her
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: mother and her mom's favorite performer was Bobby Brown Boy
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: Baby the King R and B struggled a little bit,
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: but Tanna did her thing though she did every little step.
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: They made that a duet and rocked it and killed.
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: Bobby still got the moves. Yeah, got the movie, but
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: love still picked it up where she showed out. She
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: did her She was very good. Gabriel Union, she honored
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: her mother, Teresa Union, and uh Nio performed good n
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: Yeah it was really good. Did He honored his mom
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: with a special performance from Mrs Janice Combs, her favorite singer,

- 1:21:10Speaker 1: mother and his love that Teresa, Colin Teresa Kaepernick gave
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: him and how much he owes her and his family.
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: Take a listen to. His speech to his mother was great.
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: Tonight I have the honor of honoring my mother, Teresa Kaepernick.
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: I know it seems ironic to some that a white
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: woman from Wisconsin would be the person that parented me.
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: I get it, but, like I tell her all the time,
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: you chose me and you're stuck with me. As a child,
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: I would draw family pictures in kindergarten, fully aware of
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: the fact that I had to switch the colors of
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: the crans when it came time to draw my skin
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: in my hair. And while I did wonder who I
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: looked like, I never had to wonder whether my mother
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: loved me or not. That was never in question. Unfortunately,
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: my mother's love alone could not live rate me from
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: what it meant to be black and predominantly white spaces.
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: And looking back though, I realized that there's a huge
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: difference between a biological mother and the woman that mothered me,
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: that protected me the best she could, that put in
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: the real word, it was Teresa Kaepernick. Um. It was
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: you that always stood by my side and understood that
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: while I was adopted into the Kaepernick family, that also
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: belonged to a larger black family. And as my protests
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: has changed the way that people have come to see me,
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: your love has never changed. It's always been consistent. And
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: then during I Love You Mom, it was and he
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: was flying at Carla Hunt. I love that he looked
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: like he was calling, looked like he was from Wakonda. Baby. Yeah.
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: It was a great special mother's Day, and Happy Mother's
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: Day to all the mom's. Happy Mother's Day to George
