- 2:07Speaker 1: come on dig me now, one and only Steve Harvey
- 2:12Speaker 1: got a radio show. Yoh man. God is in the
- 2:15Speaker 1: blessing business all day every day. God got hundreds of
- 2:20Speaker 1: millions of blessings that he passes out every day. All
- 2:25Speaker 1: I want to do is be the recipient that I'm
- 2:30Speaker 1: the recipient of what He has for me. That's all
- 2:34Speaker 1: I want. I just want God's favor, and I go.
- 2:38Speaker 1: I want God's blessings. You know, of course I need
- 2:42Speaker 1: his mercy and his grace, but I just want his
- 2:46Speaker 1: blessings and his favor. I want. I want that in
- 2:51Speaker 1: my life because it does things for me that I'm
- 2:53Speaker 1: absolutely incapable of doing for myself. And I've been a
- 2:58Speaker 1: recipient of many of those, and you can be the
- 3:01Speaker 1: recipient of them too. You already are, really, really, you
- 3:06Speaker 1: already are. If you're getting up every morning, that's a blessing.
- 3:10Speaker 1: If you're getting one day closer to anything you're trying
- 3:13Speaker 1: to accomplish, that's a blessing. But now let me talk
- 3:17Speaker 1: to you about this part right here, folks, because this
- 3:19Speaker 1: is the part that messages people up a great deal.
- 3:22Speaker 1: What happens when you get off track? What is that?
- 3:27Speaker 1: What does that mean? When you get off track? See,
- 3:32Speaker 1: I've been off track. I can't tell you how many times,
- 3:36Speaker 1: and it happens in so many aspects of your life.
- 3:39Speaker 1: But but what is it that makes getting off track
- 3:43Speaker 1: so debilitating to some people? You know, there are some
- 3:46Speaker 1: people who want stay off track. They off course, they
- 3:50Speaker 1: off the dream, they own to something else. And you
- 3:53Speaker 1: cannot allow the fact that you've gotten off track to stop.
- 3:58Speaker 1: You can't tell you something. Everybody gets off track. There
- 4:06Speaker 1: are people who are living their life's dreams in spite
- 4:12Speaker 1: of getting off track. See what happens when you get
- 4:15Speaker 1: off track? Here's the simple thing to do. The simple
- 4:19Speaker 1: thing is just to get back on track. Now, that's
- 4:21Speaker 1: that's But that's easier said than done, ain't it, Steve? Yeah?
- 4:25Speaker 1: Because see, people, when you get off track, here's some
- 4:28Speaker 1: of the things that happen. See you get the here
- 4:32Speaker 1: come to they sayers, some of them from the outside,
- 4:35Speaker 1: some of them internally. Here's what gets said when you
- 4:39Speaker 1: get off track. See, I told you, I told you.
- 4:45Speaker 1: You know you. You start hearing that it's not for you. Okay,
- 4:53Speaker 1: this is all just because you got off track. It's
- 4:56Speaker 1: not for you. Okay. Here's another one. Ain't meant to be.
- 5:02Speaker 1: You can hear it, or you could say it. Well,
- 5:04Speaker 1: I guess it's just not meant to be. But let
- 5:08Speaker 1: me ask you a question, though, who made the rule
- 5:13Speaker 1: that when you get off track you can't get back on?
- 5:17Speaker 1: Who made that rule? Where has that written that once
- 5:21Speaker 1: you get off track you can't get back on? See,
- 5:26Speaker 1: because I'm gonna tell you something, folks, there's no such rule.
- 5:30Speaker 1: As a matter of fact, it's quite the opposite. See, everybody,
- 5:36Speaker 1: in pursuit of a dream, a goal and aspiration or
- 5:40Speaker 1: a mission, it's going to get off track. Sometimes you're
- 5:45Speaker 1: going to get derailed. They are going to be days
- 5:48Speaker 1: where you're not going to get it right. That are
- 5:50Speaker 1: going to be days where you feel like giving up.
- 5:53Speaker 1: There's going to be days when you're just gonna flat
- 5:55Speaker 1: out get it wrong. That's the journey. But let me
- 5:59Speaker 1: tell you something. Every successful person that I know, ever met,
- 6:02Speaker 1: talked to, set out, and chopped it up with, have
- 6:05Speaker 1: shared one thing in common. We all get off track.
- 6:10Speaker 1: We all get it wrong along the way. I don't
- 6:13Speaker 1: care who the person is. The president got it wrong
- 6:16Speaker 1: along the way. Your pastor got it wrong along the way.
- 6:22Speaker 1: Qui director Kui got it wrong along the way. The
- 6:25Speaker 1: principle at your school got it wrong. Along the way.
- 6:29Speaker 1: The valor Victoria of your class got it wrong along
- 6:33Speaker 1: the way. The star of the team got it wrong
- 6:38Speaker 1: along the way. They've all been off track. Your boss
- 6:43Speaker 1: down at your job, he got it wrong along the way.
- 6:46Speaker 1: Your immediate supervisor got it wrong along the way. Everybody
- 6:53Speaker 1: I know that has any measure of success in in
- 6:56Speaker 1: every level that you call success, however you want to
- 6:59Speaker 1: label it, has gotten off track. As a matter of fact,
- 7:04Speaker 1: it's impossible. Listen to me, it is impossible not to
- 7:11Speaker 1: get off track in pursuit of your dreams, goals, visions, aspirations.
- 7:17Speaker 1: It is impossible. Don't you let nobody tell you that
- 7:22Speaker 1: they got through life unscathed, that they made it because
- 7:26Speaker 1: they was just so determined and I would let nothing
- 7:28Speaker 1: turn me back. Yeah, you might not have let nothing
- 7:32Speaker 1: turn you back because you here all but you thought
- 7:34Speaker 1: about it. Oh you thought about it on days when
- 7:38Speaker 1: you was off track. But see, people don't like to
- 7:41Speaker 1: tell the whole story. They just want you to think
- 7:44Speaker 1: as much as you can about them. So when they
- 7:46Speaker 1: tell you their story, they leave out the stuff alone.
- 7:50Speaker 1: The way it was just hard work and determination that
- 7:53Speaker 1: got me here. No it wasn't, No, it wasn't. It
- 7:56Speaker 1: was the fact that you got off track and the
- 7:59Speaker 1: grace and mercy God allowed you to get back on.
- 8:02Speaker 1: His forgiveness allowed you to get back on because you
- 8:05Speaker 1: would not believe what some of the people have done.
- 8:09Speaker 1: So when you get off track, don't allow the naysayers
- 8:12Speaker 1: outside and the big naysayer inside, because let me tell
- 8:17Speaker 1: you something, the biggest naysayer of them all comes from inside. See,
- 8:22Speaker 1: it don't matter what other people say out there. It
- 8:24Speaker 1: takes some time for you to learn this, And I
- 8:26Speaker 1: understand because it took me some time to learn it. See,
- 8:29Speaker 1: I have a lot of naysayers out there, But I
- 8:32Speaker 1: ain't operating for them, operating function for the ones that
- 8:36Speaker 1: love me, for the ones that get me, for the
- 8:39Speaker 1: ones that understand what I'm really trying to do. And
- 8:42Speaker 1: so don't you be the one that doesn't allow yourself
- 8:48Speaker 1: to get back on track when you get off track, because,
- 8:51Speaker 1: like I said, who made the rule up that you
- 8:54Speaker 1: can't get back on track? There's no such rule out there.
- 8:59Speaker 1: Stop stopping yourself from getting it right. So what you
- 9:04Speaker 1: started to diet at the beginning of the year, and
- 9:07Speaker 1: you already off, start another one, start over, try it again,
- 9:13Speaker 1: don't ever stop trying. If you stop trying, you can't
- 9:17Speaker 1: make it. But if you never give up the effort,
- 9:19Speaker 1: if you never give up and say it's over, it
- 9:22Speaker 1: ain't over. You heard just saying it ain't over to
- 9:24Speaker 1: the fat ladies saying I never invite her, she's not invited.
- 9:32Speaker 1: It ain't over, to the fat ladies, saying I don't
- 9:34Speaker 1: know where the fat ladies stay. I am not sent
- 9:38Speaker 1: her an invitation to none of my events. She's not
- 9:41Speaker 1: welcome here. She didn't ask me a couple of times,
- 9:44Speaker 1: how come I never get invited? Because you're gonna start
- 9:47Speaker 1: saying it and I ain't got time for that, all right.
- 9:52Speaker 1: Stop inviting the fat lady to all your events. Thank you,
- 9:56Speaker 1: you're listening, ladies and gentlemen. Here is Steve Robbing Morning
- 10:05Speaker 1: show in your mouth? Do it, Steve? Are you doing
- 10:19Speaker 1: looking real good today? Calling for good morning work, handing

- 12:06Speaker 1: you got it, now yourself, you do it. Hey, man,

- 12:55Speaker 1: Who that the hustling begins? That was your first car.
- 13:00Speaker 1: I didn't let nobody ride in my wag and we
- 13:02Speaker 1: aren't playing this. That was your first collect pop bottles

- 14:24Speaker 1: off of the wrapping thing. Yes, yeah, we're gonna use
- 14:30Speaker 1: that paper next year, I know. And my mom wrapped
- 14:37Speaker 1: like the grocery store wrapped. That was her thing. She looked,
- 14:42Speaker 1: Oh yes she could. It looked just like it did
- 14:45Speaker 1: at the at the department stores. My mom could wrap. Yeah, man, girl,
- 14:49Speaker 1: I got easy. Oh yes, the Lord with the light
- 14:53Speaker 1: with the light. If I wrapped, you to knew it
- 14:57Speaker 1: everything I wrapped to the exact shape or whatever. He
- 15:04Speaker 1: dog dog if you if you thought it was a truck,
- 15:07Speaker 1: that's probably what it was. It was obvious going over
- 15:11Speaker 1: under the tree and just feeling on the gifts trying
- 15:13Speaker 1: to guess what it was. Man, if I wrapped it,
- 15:17Speaker 1: yeah you knew. Wow, I got a bowling ball, you
- 15:27Speaker 1: know exactly what looked like he gave. I remember when
- 15:33Speaker 1: I got a tape recorder one year. Oh that was
- 15:36Speaker 1: always good. That was the beginning of my career right there,
- 15:39Speaker 1: the tape recorder. Yes, oh, I got a sting rewind
- 15:43Speaker 1: fast forward, Yes, yes, good, good stuff. One of my
- 15:48Speaker 1: most frightening Christmases was because of that tape recorder right there.
- 15:54Speaker 1: Oh yeah, what happened? What you pressed? Play and record it?
- 16:00Speaker 1: Get it done? Yes, yes, my mama got me mine
- 16:03Speaker 1: for Christmas. I took it upstairs and recorded Rudy ray
- 16:07Speaker 1: More Signifying the Monkey down in the Jungle, that signifying market.
- 16:17Speaker 1: Damn show, didn't got it, walked through the trees and
- 16:22Speaker 1: all up in him that market where I was in
- 16:30Speaker 1: the elementary school. He was cut. He was Cui seven
- 16:35Speaker 1: six or seven. You know if I Rudy ray More
- 16:38Speaker 1: when my dad and them used to play it, okay,
- 16:40Speaker 1: I used to sit on the steps in the hallway
- 16:43Speaker 1: and listen to it. Be in the hallway, Holly. Everybody
- 16:46Speaker 1: had the albums Man, but I rememberized album the whole
- 16:50Speaker 1: Signifying Monkey, and I could sound just like it. So
- 16:54Speaker 1: when my mama got it, I went upstairs and I'm
- 16:57Speaker 1: recording wear down in the Jungle signifying Marky. Everything cussing
- 17:07Speaker 1: and everything I'm talking about cuss like that's when you
- 17:10Speaker 1: first look you feel in love like this. So everything
- 17:13Speaker 1: going good. We go to church that morning. We come back.
- 17:16Speaker 1: A couple of sister Porter and sister r Bell came
- 17:20Speaker 1: over to see my mom and they was in there
- 17:24Speaker 1: in the living room and I had my recorder on
- 17:27Speaker 1: them coffee table because I saw a cookie on the
- 17:30Speaker 1: down room table. I wanted to get a matter of fact,
- 17:33Speaker 1: of rice crispy, And when I came back, my mama
- 17:38Speaker 1: had to recorder in her low my stomach. She said,
- 17:47Speaker 1: what they was all talking about? Uh, sister Harvey, what
- 17:51Speaker 1: is that? That's these new recorders that you buy. We
- 17:54Speaker 1: bought one for Steve. I'm just man, don't hit that son,
- 18:05Speaker 1: this lady, say what's on it? My mama pressed play.
- 18:15Speaker 1: I opened it up like this wear down in the jungle.
- 18:24Speaker 1: D that's signifying market that ever? Sleep. Yeah, I'm cussing
- 18:32Speaker 1: it everything, but I mean, it's on the recorder. So
- 18:39Speaker 1: my mama trying to find the button, but she can't
- 18:43Speaker 1: cut it all. She can't control the volume or nothing.
- 18:48Speaker 1: She steady hitting the play button. Well that's already down.
- 18:52Speaker 1: Your baby talking lay at the church say, oh, that's
- 18:57Speaker 1: that's Rudy ray Mo. So I said, okay, that might
- 19:02Speaker 1: help a little bit, they say, she said, But who
- 19:05Speaker 1: is it though? Oh? Who's staying this? Yeah? Everybody looking
- 19:11Speaker 1: at me. I'm just trying to figure out how I
- 19:14Speaker 1: can make this recorded disappear. Enough if I stay here
- 19:23Speaker 1: and look out the window, maybe they won't notice this. Me. Man,
- 19:27Speaker 1: I was sitting there in trouble. Mama's finally cut that thing. Up.
- 19:31Speaker 1: She said, boy, lord Jesus, when your daddy get home?
- 19:37Speaker 1: Oh no, man, So they left. My daddy came home,
- 19:40Speaker 1: she says, snap, listen to what this boy didn't put
- 19:43Speaker 1: on his on Christmas? She pressed play again, wear down
- 19:55Speaker 1: in the jungle. D My daddy saying who is that?
- 20:02Speaker 1: My mom was saying, that's your son, and then my
- 20:08Speaker 1: dad and listening to it, any star smiling, Why that's you?
- 20:15Speaker 1: Uh huh, yes, I'm just shrinking. I'll tell you all right.
- 20:21Speaker 1: And the brink phone call coming up right after this.
- 20:24Speaker 1: You're listening show all right. Before we went to brake, Steve,
- 20:29Speaker 1: you were telling us a story about when your dad
- 20:32Speaker 1: heard you recite Rudy ray Moore on your brand new car. Mama,
- 20:37Speaker 1: come home on Christmas. Look at what your boys doing. Yeah,
- 20:43Speaker 1: so she pressed on way down jud that blankly blank
- 20:55Speaker 1: didn't ever sleep walking trees and swinging in the sand
- 21:03Speaker 1: back black. So my daddy listened to it, and he smiled.
- 21:11Speaker 1: He said, boy, that's you. Oh yes, you're in trouble
- 21:15Speaker 1: all he said, where your coat at? Go get your coat?
- 21:20Speaker 1: Come on in confidence. I ain't never done. No, he
- 21:29Speaker 1: used to go on in the basement, is the coat
- 21:32Speaker 1: he puts me in the car, he gets the machine.
- 21:34Speaker 1: We back out. We drive right up the Earl's gas
- 21:39Speaker 1: station about five minutes from the house. He got walking
- 21:42Speaker 1: there on the man Christmas slick. What's up a little boy? Man?
- 21:47Speaker 1: Christmas boy, I got something for y'all right here, damn me?
- 21:53Speaker 1: Who this is here? So all the men and that
- 21:55Speaker 1: one boy that rooted right more? No, ain't that stilass?
- 22:06Speaker 1: You lying boy right here? This boy sound your like remote?
- 22:12Speaker 1: So mister Wale, say what do some of it? Oh man,
- 22:16Speaker 1: you can't you think about in front of y'all life?
- 22:20Speaker 1: And I got the custom from y'all. Did you do it? Hell? Yeah?
- 22:29Speaker 1: Wait like that right there? Like Oh man, I love it,
- 22:37Speaker 1: I love it. I love it. My daddy thought it
- 22:39Speaker 1: was the greatest thing. You here now, he said, when
- 22:41Speaker 1: we get back home, tell you mama. We rode and
- 22:44Speaker 1: talked about it. Okay, well, they ain't gonna whoop your
- 22:48Speaker 1: cause it's own Christmas. Oh so it been a twenty six.
- 22:52Speaker 1: You've got toe up in the well. He didn't want
- 22:55Speaker 1: to whip me no way, because he was He thought
- 22:57Speaker 1: it was greatness. He thought that was the greatest thing.
- 22:59Speaker 1: He pure grace. You take all that cussing off of
- 23:05Speaker 1: that machine. You ain't even where you to learn these
- 23:09Speaker 1: words from. You're playing that all The party album was good?
- 23:19Speaker 1: This album? Yeah yeah, wow? Who else you listen to?

- 24:00Speaker 1: Delirious who Richard Pryde wanted? That's the one. Yeah, man, wow,
- 24:15Speaker 1: I mean that. That was back in the day when
- 24:18Speaker 1: you when your parents had parties, and weren't those called
- 24:21Speaker 1: party albums or something. Yeah, absolutely, party albums. So they

- 24:33Speaker 1: steps leading up in my room, and he was behind
- 24:35Speaker 1: the wall. I sat on the steps. I learned how
- 24:40Speaker 1: to cuss everything. Yeah, the good old day Gus Gus, Gus,
- 24:49Speaker 1: goody Google, I said, American classic right there for that
- 24:55Speaker 1: red level outfit, that was classic. Yeah, yeah, for sure.

- 40:45Speaker 1: You can listen to it, you can cry to it,

- 41:09Speaker 1: All possessions is collected at one time and one time on.
- 41:16Speaker 1: Anything that's left behind will be thrown away by both parties.
- 41:21Speaker 1: Like you ain't keep coming over here looking for stuff
- 41:25Speaker 1: that you can't keep coming back over here. I gott
- 41:30Speaker 1: coming to you in the closet looking for your tank top.
- 41:41Speaker 1: You hit a big one right here. Nobody is allowed
- 41:46Speaker 1: to talk to each other's mama's friends with your mamma,
- 41:58Speaker 1: and you can't be friends with mama come home. Yeah,
- 42:04Speaker 1: at least that's a good one, Steve. I like he
- 42:07Speaker 1: was trying to pick up some greens and you and
- 42:09Speaker 1: hit talking rolling your ass when I walk into the dough. Yeah.
- 42:13Speaker 1: Here's the next one. Yeah, all parties. She find a

- 42:54Speaker 1: finish this one old naked picture all right, Well, nephew,
- 43:01Speaker 1: tell me has a prank fall coming up and we'll
- 43:03Speaker 1: finish out seas break up rules. Right after this. You're
- 43:07Speaker 1: listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up at the
- 43:11Speaker 1: top of the hour, right about four minutes after. It's
- 43:14Speaker 1: today's strawberry letter. Right now the nephews here though, Yeah,
- 43:18Speaker 1: with today's prank phone call. What you got for us? Now?
- 43:20Speaker 1: Brand spanking new this one. It's called cripple cask. If
- 43:24Speaker 1: three people pass and they can, you know, the family
- 43:28Speaker 1: might not have enough money fall them cass just one cat.
- 43:32Speaker 1: Cripple can three people one cat? We finish the concept. Okay,
- 43:41Speaker 1: this can work. Take some money. They can listen Jenk's mortuary.
- 43:46Speaker 1: This is can help you. Hey, how are you doing?
- 43:50Speaker 1: How you calping? How are you doing? My name is
- 43:51Speaker 1: Brandon man or Brandon Giles. Uh, I'm calling. We've got
- 43:57Speaker 1: somebody that pass Actually three people we start passed away.
- 44:06Speaker 1: I thank you for that, man. It was kind of expected,
- 44:09Speaker 1: so you know, it wasn't something that caught us off guard.
- 44:12Speaker 1: But you know, but all in all, you know, we're
- 44:14Speaker 1: still grieving about losing our loved ones. But but I
- 44:18Speaker 1: wanted to give you all a call. We're trying to
- 44:20Speaker 1: um pick a particular funeral home on who we want
- 44:23Speaker 1: to um take care of. Yes, yes, sir, yes sir, okay,
- 44:29Speaker 1: I can definitely help you with that. And uh, once again,
- 44:34Speaker 1: I just want to you know, just let you know
- 44:36Speaker 1: that we can pretty much do the whole game. That
- 44:39Speaker 1: we can make sure that your need to take them
- 44:42Speaker 1: from you know, from from now on. Um, we're here
- 44:45Speaker 1: for you. Santed to get that out. What is your
- 44:48Speaker 1: main need? You said, three people? Sir, Yes, yes, yes,
- 44:54Speaker 1: I wanted to bring attention to you. Do you guys
- 44:57Speaker 1: customize caskets? Yes, we do, goal plating, uh, engraving. We
- 45:04Speaker 1: even have a new thing where we can put the
- 45:07Speaker 1: picture of the person on the outside like a semi
- 45:09Speaker 1: gloss coating. We have a couple of hours. Yeah, I
- 45:13Speaker 1: don't I don't need that all. No goal or nothing
- 45:15Speaker 1: like that. Listen, listen what I want to do. Is
- 45:18Speaker 1: it any way that you could maybe uh customize a
- 45:22Speaker 1: casket that can accommodate three people? Um uh yes, like
- 45:29Speaker 1: we we can. We can customize each individual casket for
- 45:33Speaker 1: each individual. No, no, no, no, Calvin, that didn't want
- 45:37Speaker 1: to ask. What I'm saying is if I want to
- 45:39Speaker 1: like like I like I said, my could they was
- 45:41Speaker 1: all close. You know, I don't have a problem with
- 45:45Speaker 1: all three of them being in the same casket. I
- 45:49Speaker 1: get you. Um uh you know, to my knowledge is
- 45:53Speaker 1: as far as I've been in this business, I've never Uh,
- 45:57Speaker 1: I'm not really sure we can actually do that. I mean,
- 46:00Speaker 1: I mean, I mean, what's the problem if we can
- 46:02Speaker 1: get them all in there and you will serve I mean,
- 46:06Speaker 1: I think that's a I don't even think if for one,
- 46:10Speaker 1: it's legal in this state or any state, three people
- 46:13Speaker 1: in one casket, um and ethics wise, I uh, that's
- 46:18Speaker 1: not really something that How can I say that we
- 46:22Speaker 1: actually you know, but if you customizing a casket, Calvin,
- 46:26Speaker 1: then you ought to be able to put as many
- 46:28Speaker 1: people in there, if you make it deep enough and
- 46:30Speaker 1: wide enough. Ought to be to get three people in there. Right. Well,
- 46:34Speaker 1: the customization is is the outer side of the casket
- 46:39Speaker 1: and maybe you know some people uh even put TV
- 46:43Speaker 1: screens on the inside or some of their their their
- 46:45Speaker 1: loved ones, memorable momentums. We customize it for that, you know. Colorwise?
- 46:53Speaker 1: Uh so what about when and when is a person real? Big? Uh?
- 46:57Speaker 1: You know, haven't said person? You know? You got to
- 46:59Speaker 1: have a cast that's can accommodate them, right, yes, But okay,
- 47:03Speaker 1: so so you ought to be to put you ought
- 47:05Speaker 1: to be able to put three people in one casket
- 47:07Speaker 1: if they can fit. If you put two one way,
- 47:10Speaker 1: in one the other other way. Then you ought to
- 47:13Speaker 1: be to have all three of them in there at
- 47:14Speaker 1: one time. Um, is there anybody else around you and
- 47:18Speaker 1: your family that can help talk with me about this?
- 47:22Speaker 1: I'm talking right now. I'm trying to get I'm trying
- 47:25Speaker 1: to accommodate my cousins and get them straight. And I'm
- 47:27Speaker 1: asking you can we get them in a casket that
- 47:30Speaker 1: one casket that can accommodate three people. If you put
- 47:33Speaker 1: two pillars on money in one pillars, that's not something
- 47:37Speaker 1: we're really that ain't just used to doing, Calvin. But
- 47:41Speaker 1: I'm calling you telling you that's the way I want
- 47:43Speaker 1: this customize. Man. All right, brother, look brother, brother, just
- 47:47Speaker 1: just chill out with customs, all right. So we're trying
- 47:49Speaker 1: to get three people. Yeah, I have a standard plan.
- 47:53Speaker 1: It'll be a low end standard plan for three individual caskets.
- 47:59Speaker 1: We ain't gotta we all have enough money for three
- 48:03Speaker 1: individual caskets. I keep telling you that we got room
- 48:06Speaker 1: for one casket. We we just need to big enough, man,
- 48:10Speaker 1: so you could get everybody in there. Close the dope.
- 48:13Speaker 1: I'm not gonna I'm not I don't want to go
- 48:14Speaker 1: back and forth with you, sir, I know this is

- 50:59Speaker 1: that thing. Yeah, well, you're probably gonna need ten, Jay,
- 51:06Speaker 1: You're probably gonna need five on each side. But you
- 51:12Speaker 1: saved some money. Jay Dolly. It's like like Casker bunk
- 51:17Speaker 1: beds for three people. All right, I got a beat idea.
- 51:21Speaker 1: Go ahead, let me just put them in their fold.

- 51:38Speaker 1: you need advice on relationships, on dating, on work, on sex,
- 51:41Speaker 1: on parenting, and more, please submit your Strawberry letter to
- 51:46Speaker 1: Steve Harvey f M and click submit Strawberry letter, and
- 51:49Speaker 1: we could be reading your letter live on the air
- 51:52Speaker 1: and helping you out, just like we're gonna do for
- 51:55Speaker 1: this person. Buggle up, hold on tight, we got it
- 51:58Speaker 1: for you. I dish at all all right subject one big,
- 52:07Speaker 1: happy family or nothing at all. Dear Stephen Shirley, I've
- 52:11Speaker 1: been dating a man for three years and we get
- 52:14Speaker 1: alone great. We've talked about getting married, but we have
- 52:18Speaker 1: to work out a few kinks first. Both of us
- 52:20Speaker 1: have teenage kids from previous relationships, and I spend a
- 52:24Speaker 1: lot of time with his kids every other weekend. He
- 52:27Speaker 1: is always around my kids because I have sole custody
- 52:30Speaker 1: of them. We always joke about his kids like hanging out.
- 52:35Speaker 1: Excuse me, We always joke about how his kids like
- 52:37Speaker 1: hanging out with me more than him. If I am
- 52:41Speaker 1: doing something for my kids, I include his kids. I
- 52:44Speaker 1: buy them gifts for birthdays, Christmas, or just because I
- 52:48Speaker 1: buy them gifts, and there's no separation to me. But
- 52:52Speaker 1: over the weekend I had the strangest conversation with my
- 52:56Speaker 1: boyfriend about the kids. He told me that this Christmas
- 53:02Speaker 1: he plans to focus more on his kids and spend
- 53:05Speaker 1: quality time with them alone during the holidays. I was
- 53:10Speaker 1: shocked to hear this. Over the years, he's been good
- 53:14Speaker 1: to my kids, but I do see a difference in
- 53:16Speaker 1: how he treats them and how he treats his own kids.
- 53:19Speaker 1: My kids love him, so I never make a big
- 53:22Speaker 1: deal out of it. The fact that he is trying
- 53:24Speaker 1: to make a big distinction between the kids really hurts
- 53:28Speaker 1: my feelings. Blended families are tricky and we've been trying
- 53:31Speaker 1: to make it work, but this was a harsh reality check.
- 53:35Speaker 1: My kids come first, but I'm able to love his
- 53:37Speaker 1: kids as my own. Now I have doubts about marriage.
- 53:41Speaker 1: Am I overthinking this? Stephen Shirley? What do you think? No,
- 53:47Speaker 1: you are not overthinking anything. I say what you see
- 53:51Speaker 1: and what you know, because when people show you, and
- 53:54Speaker 1: in this case, tell you who they are, please believe them.
- 53:58Speaker 1: I mean, Okay, let's look at the facts. This man
- 54:02Speaker 1: that you've been with for three years told you that
- 54:06Speaker 1: this Christmas he just wants to spend quality time with
- 54:10Speaker 1: his kids alone during the holidays. What else do you
- 54:14Speaker 1: need to hear. It's the holidays, That's the time when
- 54:18Speaker 1: you and your man and kids. You know, you guys
- 54:20Speaker 1: are supposed to spend family time together, not apart. So again,
- 54:27Speaker 1: what else is it that you need to hear? I mean,
- 54:29Speaker 1: he doesn't want to be with you, and he doesn't
- 54:31Speaker 1: want to be with you and your kids for Christmas? Okay,
- 54:35Speaker 1: In this relationship, you're all in. You are just everything.
- 54:39Speaker 1: In this relationship, you have accepted as teenage kids. You
- 54:42Speaker 1: spend a lot of time with them, You remember their
- 54:44Speaker 1: birthdays and other special occasions. You buy them gifts and stuff. He,
- 54:48Speaker 1: on the other hand, makes a difference between his kids
- 54:51Speaker 1: and your kids, and you're right. In order for a
- 54:54Speaker 1: blended family to work, you have to show love to everyone,
- 54:57Speaker 1: even if in your heart you love your own kids more.
- 55:00Speaker 1: And I think that's pretty normal to feel that way.
- 55:02Speaker 1: You have a special bond with your kids, you carried
- 55:04Speaker 1: them and all of that. But you know you're fair
- 55:07Speaker 1: and loving on the outside. But your man is not
- 55:10Speaker 1: doing that and he's not trying to hide it. Even
- 55:12Speaker 1: though you say your kids love him and you haven't
- 55:15Speaker 1: made a big deal out of it, it is a
- 55:16Speaker 1: big deal because he sounds like he has checked out
- 55:20Speaker 1: of this relationship and on his way out of this relationship.
- 55:23Speaker 1: Someone who's thinking of marriage, of marrying you, would not
- 55:27Speaker 1: want to be without you on this Christmas. Okay, sounds
- 55:31Speaker 1: like he's gonna be with someone else. Steve, Well, Shirley,
- 55:37Speaker 1: I have to agree with you now. So here we go.
- 55:41Speaker 1: This lady been dating this man for three years, everything
- 55:44Speaker 1: going great, talked about getting married, but they need to
- 55:47Speaker 1: work out some kinks. You know, both of them got kids.
- 55:50Speaker 1: He spends a lot of time and he's always around
- 55:52Speaker 1: the kids because she got soul custody of them. We
- 55:57Speaker 1: joke about how his kid is like hanging out with
- 55:59Speaker 1: me more than him. And then you know, if I'm
- 56:01Speaker 1: doing something for my kids, I include his kids. I
- 56:04Speaker 1: buy him gifts for birthdays, Christmas, everything, no separation to me.
- 56:08Speaker 1: But over the weekend he had a little conversation with
- 56:10Speaker 1: my boyfriend about the kids. He told me, he say
- 56:12Speaker 1: this Christmas, he playing it on, focusing more on his kids,
- 56:17Speaker 1: spend quality time with them alone during the holidays. I
- 56:21Speaker 1: was shocked to hear this. Over the years, he's been
- 56:23Speaker 1: good to my kids, but I do see a difference
- 56:25Speaker 1: in how he treats them and how he treats his
- 56:28Speaker 1: own kids. My kids love him so I never made
- 56:31Speaker 1: a big deal out of the fact that he's trying
- 56:33Speaker 1: to make a big distinction between the kids. Really hurt
- 56:36Speaker 1: my feelings. Then the families are tricky, Yes they are,
- 56:39Speaker 1: and I've been trying to make it work, but this
- 56:41Speaker 1: is a harsh reality check. My kids come first, but
- 56:45Speaker 1: I'm able to love his kids as my own. Now
- 56:47Speaker 1: I have doubts about marriage. I'm overthinking this. I think
- 56:51Speaker 1: you all got to sit down and have a conversation.
- 56:53Speaker 1: Something is happening where he's feeling like he's obviously not
- 56:56Speaker 1: paying close enough attention to his own kids. So he
- 57:00Speaker 1: decided this year he goes spend times with his kids alone.
- 57:06Speaker 1: Somebody that said something to him. He didn't come to
- 57:09Speaker 1: this conclusion on his own. Somebody said something to him.
- 57:15Speaker 1: Somebody said, you know what the kids feel like, you
- 57:17Speaker 1: just treat everybody better than them. They come up and
- 57:21Speaker 1: they feel like you'll step child. Somebody fed this information
- 57:26Speaker 1: to him. All one of the kids said something to him.
- 57:29Speaker 1: That's the only reason for he just suddenly go like this.
- 57:32Speaker 1: So he's trying to prove that that's not true. So
- 57:36Speaker 1: he gonna be spending a lot of time with just
- 57:38Speaker 1: his kids alone on Christmas and he's been with her
- 57:42Speaker 1: for three years. Yeah, I don't know how he thinks
- 57:44Speaker 1: that's gonna Yeah, he been not later, he been not
- 57:48Speaker 1: say that nobody didn't lay down. He's been a mess
- 57:51Speaker 1: the kids and then lay down. He can't go to
- 57:54Speaker 1: sleep in that house. I can't make that statement. And
- 57:57Speaker 1: didn't go get into bed and starts snow. No, that's
- 58:01Speaker 1: been to being a temp on your life. But that
- 58:06Speaker 1: was kind of cold though. I mean, yeah, he plans
- 58:09Speaker 1: to focus more on his kids and spend quality time
- 58:12Speaker 1: with them alone during the holiday. Word. Oh all right, Steve,
- 58:17Speaker 1: we'll hang on. Part two of your answer is coming up. Um,
- 58:20Speaker 1: we'll take a short break here and come back at
- 58:22Speaker 1: twenty three after the hours. Subject one big happy family
- 58:26Speaker 1: or nothing at all. You're listening, all right, Steve U.
- 58:34Speaker 1: This letter is crazy. Let's recap subject one big happy
- 58:37Speaker 1: family or nothing at all. Well, it looked like nothing
- 58:39Speaker 1: at all because he wanted to spend this holiday with
- 58:42Speaker 1: his kids, spend more time with his kids alone. That's
- 58:47Speaker 1: time of making your kids have happy Christmases. And my
- 58:50Speaker 1: kids over here they nipt stuck out. Now we're not
- 58:54Speaker 1: gonna do that this year, Michelle. I want you to
- 58:58Speaker 1: be the wife asking me why we can't have this
- 59:00Speaker 1: Christmas together, and you're gonna be repeatedly keep asking me
- 59:04Speaker 1: about this Christmas, and I would keep giving you different
- 59:06Speaker 1: beas Okay, Well, honey, um, I'm so happy the holidays
- 59:11Speaker 1: are here. I can't wait to spend Christmas with you. Well,
- 59:14Speaker 1: you know, I wish I could say the same. Well,
- 59:18Speaker 1: what do you mean we are spending it together, aren't we? Well,
- 59:21Speaker 1: you know, we're gonna spend it together, but it's gonna
- 59:22Speaker 1: be separate. But separate is not together. Honey, We're gonna
- 59:26Speaker 1: spend Christmas together, right, you, me and the kid. Hold on,
- 59:29Speaker 1: what kids you talking about? I'm talking about our kids,
- 59:32Speaker 1: my kids and your kids. No, no, no, not so
- 59:35Speaker 1: your kids a your kid, my kid, Me and my
- 59:37Speaker 1: kids gonna spend this holiday together and alone. But honey,
- 59:41Speaker 1: we're together. You know, we're We've been dating for it
- 59:45Speaker 1: three years now, and y'all this all this is important
- 59:48Speaker 1: to you. Yes, and I thought it was important to
- 59:51Speaker 1: you that we be together, But not like this though,
- 59:54Speaker 1: you talking about all the time I'm talking about during
- 59:58Speaker 1: the holidays. Yes, honey, I've planned stuff, I've cooked, I've
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: invited people over all of that, you know, one big
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: happy family. Well, I don't you know, baby, damn you know.
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: You don't ask me nothing. Well, we've we've been together
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: for three years. It's kind of a given that we
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: spend the holidays together. Yeah, but you ain't. You ain't like,
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: did nothing special for the holidays. I've been out here
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: lyned people up. So we make our move, make our move.
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: I thought we were gonna just be together. We put
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: the Christmas tree up and did the decorations and everything.
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: Who all hell put your Christmas tree up? Did he? Well?
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: The kids? Yeah, ain't nobody help but the talk kids.

- 1:01:04Speaker 1: they just did. But the shop kids is what is
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: they doing? I don't know what the shop kids they

- 1:01:26Speaker 1: You ain't got to being over you. It ain't nothing shot,
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: work ain't nothing for you. Well, honey, and the tree

- 1:01:35Speaker 1: to spend it together, you know, you mean us together.
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: And they hang these balls on the bottom of that
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: tree too. I like, I like treat balls at the
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: bottom of the tree. Okay, ornaments, yes, yeah, them ornaments,
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: But the balls though, I don't like Christmas ornaments as others,
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: you know, acorn Christmas tree? Can I just like ball

- 1:02:19Speaker 1: want to be together for this Christmas? Well, baby, ain't
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: that ain't no more? Well? Why not? I mean, what's
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: the problem? No, see, you know you just trying to
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: make this something else. I'm trying to make this something else.
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: I haven't told you that. Don't holler, don't that's why
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: right here, you don't need to yell at me. You
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: can't hear. I can hear just fine. I just can't
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: hear just fine when you can be by yourself. But
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: we're gonna be there. How about that? That's alone, and
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: then we're gonna be the it's my house too, yes,
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: clap back? What are you talking about? I don't pay

- 1:03:04Speaker 1: don't know who told you that. I told myself that
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: when we when we first started living together. Oh well,
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: I'm gonna have to get a restraint and order on you.
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: Oh that works both ways. I can get one on

- 1:03:58Speaker 1: ain't gonna make it too. Do you have someone else?
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: Do I have someone? You hired me? Because why wouldn't
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: you want to spend it with me? You've been spending

- 1:07:14Speaker 1: no sense? All right, here we go it for you.
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: This is doing This is the intellectual drunk. There we go.
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: Give me that. Come on, when the stars is landing
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: up in the sky for the galaxy and universe, you're
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: spitting around, that's all right, more of this crazy ignorant show.
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. Right after this, you're listening to
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, it's time as
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: promised for All I said was so elas. It's very simple.
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: But if you if you're in a relationship or been
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: in the relationship, there's things that you have said, just
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: little statements. Next thing you know, you're a full blown argument,
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: just just out of nowhere or like all I said
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: was all I said was what would I do with
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: the money if I want the lottery m And I said,
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: you know I said this, I say that. Then all
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: of a sudden, I'm We're in an argument. We have
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: a full argument. O't make believe money? You know what
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: I'm saying right now, I'm time. You know what I'm
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: timeing to. You have been the junior? Yeah? Been there?
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: Still in there? Something? You know? All I said was,
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: you know, if I ever meet Beyonce? Right well, she
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: knew the rest of the statement. And I mean it,
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: that's if I met Beyonce, Hey, you know she allowed
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: me to date husband. I see, tell me you got
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: what you want to know? What I said, John, All?
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: I said, who my girlfriend husband? Be tripping. That's all
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: I said, Jay, my girlfriend husband be tripping, That's all
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: I see. All right. I was on the phone the
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: other day, just you know, my girlfriend, just talking. All
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: I said was because it was just the two of us. Yeah,
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: I didn't know Nesto was in the house. All I
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: said was Morgan Freeman could get it. You know, I
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: don't even talk like that. That was with my girls,
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: you know, just talking. Oh man, the argument that has
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: I'm sorry. You know I didn't say it so much.
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: Just pick one up. See. You know all I said
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: one time one you know, she made me something. I
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: just said. You know, when my mama baked it, she
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: baked it a different got to do it. Yeah, yea.
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: And when you talk about cooking and stuff like that,
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: you don't look over here at me. Okay, everybody glanced
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: everybody whatever's food, we always look at you. I don't
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: know why, man, I mean little simple things. It started,
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: you know, like it. All I said was if we
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: weren't together, x y Z one of your girlfriends, who
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: did I get with? You know that's how I s
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: not together? Yeah, if we were together, I get well,
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: you know you're dead. You hit dad and we weren't together. Ye,
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: you're a dead man. You can't really say nothing about
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: their body. No, you can't. I didn't want I did.
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: I said something one time, I said, why her dressed
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: so tight? You know? Man like he was on my
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: damn right right? Okay, okay, all I said, if she pregnant,
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: it's a possibility, you know. I'm just if she's pregnant, Wow,
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: I can't you want to Maybe maybe I had to
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: give my car key statement. I walked in the room
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: one time, she laying down on the bed trying to
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: put the pants on. I said, that's how we got
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: to do it now. Yeah, yeah, we walked. We walked
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: into this restaurant one time. All I said was me
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: and my exes to come here all the time. And
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: then it helped it the gas brown you back again.
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: I can't nobody, I can't, no nor I'm talking. So
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: what size you were? Now, I'll just what side you were?
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. Kanye West, jay Z,
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: and Beyonce are the top earning artists of twenty nineteen.
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: This is according to Forbes. Forbes has published its annual ranking,
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: with Kanye sitting at number two. With one hundred and
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: fifty million dollars. Right behind wow, yeah yeah, right behind
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: you is his big brother jay Z and his wife Beyonce.
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: They each brought in eighty one million. Yeazy still has
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: a way to go if he wants to hit the
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: number one spot. Taylor Swift has one hundred and eighty
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: five five million and earnings. That's thanks to him. Yeah
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: really he Yeah, you're right, and it took his hands
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: up there and snatched that award from she'd probably be
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: number ten. So West or what Kanye can take credit
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: for Taylor Swift? Correct? Yeah, she's talented, don't get me wrong.
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: I'm not saying that, but thank you for that, k Yeah.
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: Other names on the list include Drake at number eight
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: and Rihanna at number eleven. So there you got Rihanna.

- 1:13:34Speaker 1: sometimes they yeah, they just have the ring top five.
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: Let me see, but your money like number three and
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: make eighty one meal you love I would love it.
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: I wouldn't be mad if I was thirty seven. Right last,
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: As long as we're on the list, man, they talked
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: about what you earned. M hmmm, Drake, number eight, that's
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: pretty good. Now, come on Rihanna number eleven with all
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: her fenty all right, more of the Steve Harvey Morning

- 1:15:35Speaker 1: all my love. Please I will, and please you do
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: the same with Jackie with her beautiful self. Yes loving,
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: I'm so in the Christmas spirit. May be right back
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: to eating up Jay's segment. Come on on, the son
- 1:15:55Speaker 1: is dedicated to out there. There's gotta be somebody somewhere
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: who wish. Is someone I love one, a friend, a relative, whatever,
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: which is leave their house for Christmas? Please be gone?
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: But christless, this I bad love. I don't care where
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: you go and I don't care, so please be gone
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: the Chrismas this I bade a be you see it.
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: You're done, my less, I have my head be age, James.
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: That's it. You sound so depressed while you was saying
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: you're a mean one, mister Grench mean one, mister gone. Yeah.
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: The word is somebody would ride with somebody's shot and
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: they turn that up. They just up. Please come home
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: for Christmas, not be gone. All right, Coming up, it's
- 1:17:33Speaker 1: Steve Harvey and his closing remarks. You don't want to
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: miss it. At forty nine after the hour you're listening
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Steve Harvey, you've brought
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: your fabulous, uh and very insightful, very informal, very motivating
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: closing remarks. Back is something that you started years ago
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: when you first started the Steve Harvey Morning Show. And
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: people have grown to love them and and you know
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: to live by them and be inspired by them. So
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: what do you have for us? Here's today a real
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: good piece of motivation and makes your quest to become
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: successful a little bit simpler. You know, oftentimes people are
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: stuck in a rut because they can't think they way
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: clear to see the end result. What I mean by
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: is some people make such lofty goals and then they
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: sit there without a plan of attack to achieve that
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: lofty goal until they've created a goal that seems so
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: daunting that they don't even start the process of a
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: trying to accomplish it. For example, and this doesn't have
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: to be the case. I'm just using this as an example.
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: Let's say you want to be a millionaire and you say, wow,
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: I want to make a million dollars, and then you
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: start thinking of how to make the million dollars, and
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: because you can't, it becomes so daunting. Making a million
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: dollars is difficult. If it were easy, wouldn't you do
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: it by Friday? Wouldn't you? Of course you would. But
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: it's a little more difficult than that. So here's what
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: I had to learn in my life. Everybody listening to
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: this was born with a gift. It's inside of you.
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: Because God is very fair, he didn't put it on
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: a mountaintop, he didn't hide it under a rock. It's
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: in you. And your gift is the thing that you
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: do to absolute best with the least amount of effort.
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: In that lies your greatest chance for success. There's a
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: scripture that says your gift will make room for you
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: and put you in the presence of great men. Let's
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: just look at the first part of that, your gift
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: will make room for you. My interpretation of that has
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: meant what my gift has done for me. It has
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: allowed me to spread out, It has taken me places
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: I never dreamed got gold. Your gift will do the
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: same thing for you. So now let's just talk about
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: your ability to it to the million. I think it's
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: what your gift, because if that's what that he gave
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: you and instill that you at birth, was to make
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: room for you, here's your chance. Now how do I
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: do that? Steve? I call it to maximize your effort
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: by ten theory. It's just something I came up with
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: driving when I was home listening, coming up without to
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: make it, and I discovered something. All of you have
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: something that some would pay you ten dollars to do.
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: Some of you paint, some of you teach, some of
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: your babysitting tutors. Some of you work with your hands.
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: Some of you can sing, some of you can choreograph.
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: Some of you there's so many things. Cut grass, I
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: play the piano, some of you do something. Some of
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: y'all work on cards, some of y'all drive. But all
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: of you have something that you will do that someone
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: will give you ten dollars to do. All of you
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: have something that someone will pay you ten dollars to
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: because you do something that someone else can't do. So
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: now all you gotta do instead of trying to figure
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: out how to make a million dollars. It's go make
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: the ten dollars that you're able to make. Once you
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: make that ten dollars, I want you to do it
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: ten more times. When you do it ten more times,
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: you now have one hundred dollars. Once you have one
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: hundred dollars, it's very simple. Do the same thing you
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: did to make one hundred dollars ten more times, you
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: now have one thousand dollars. See, you don't have to
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: keep thinking of something else to do. Just keep doing
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: the same thing that you've been doing. Just do it.
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: Multiply the effort. It's the effort that maximizes and brings
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: about the fruition of what your life can be. So,
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: if you make a thousand dollars and you do that
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: ten more times, I have news for you. Now have
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: ten thousand dollars. Now, now, in order to make a
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: one hundred thousand, you might need a little bit of help.
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: You might need to high somebody to help you do
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: the thing that you do. But if you make ten
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: thousand dollars and you do what you did to make
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: ten thousand dollars, which is the same thing you did
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: to make ten dollars, if you do it ten more times,
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: you now have one hundred thousand dollars. Now, listen to me. Friends,
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: Once you have a hundred thousand dollars, I could assure
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: you you are going to need help because in order
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: to maximize one hundred thousand dollars, you have to have
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: some like minded people around you. Nobody gets to the
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: top alone. Nobody becomes successful and wealthy by themselves. They
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: form partnerships, relationships, they get employees. But once you make
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: a hundred thousand dollars doing the same thing you did
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: to make ten dollars, if you do it ten more times,
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: I have news for you, my friends. Congratulations, you have
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: just made one million dollars with a ten dollar idea.
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: Stop trying to figure out how to make the million.
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: What all you gotta do is take your ten dollars
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: gift that God has put in you. It's a million
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: dollar gift that you have. You just haven't broken it
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: down inch by inch. Anything's as sinch and maximize the efforts.
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: That's how you become successful. These jokes that pay me
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: what I make now, it's the same jokes that pay
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: me twenty five dollars a night. They're the same jokes.
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: It's all English. This is not in another language. I
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: don't know no more words now than I knew then.
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: I've taken these twenty five dollars jokes and I maximize
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: them over and over and over and over and over
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: and over and over. It's the same jokes I was
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: telling babysitters who charge fifty dollars to watch kids. Babysitters
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: end up opening up daycare centers. Daycare centers turned into franchises,
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: crime dollar crime monastory schools. These are national franchises. Somebody
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: was just babysitting. My partner used to cut grass. First
- 1:23:40Speaker 1: three dollars in the front, three dollars in the back.
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: He got a landscape and come to Cleveland. He made
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: four million dollars a year. You know what he do?
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: He cut grass, same six dollar grass cutn't he been doing? You?
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: Check out some trucks. Now, what is it that you
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: do that somebody will pay you ten dollars that you
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: can maximize your effort for and turn it into your million.
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: Trying to figure out how to make the million. Take
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: your ten dollars skills set and start hammering it and
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: beating it and working it and grinding and hustling and
- 1:24:10Speaker 1: multiplying and magnifying it and you will make a million dollars.
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: That's my closing remm. Thank y'all very much. Thanks all
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: right now called boy. Yeah, y'all have a great weekend.
