Transcript
- 0:00I'm sitting in the living room having coffee.
- 0:02There's the bone of Jude the apostle.
- 0:04There's an exorcist. Life is weird.
- 0:06I just read the gospels, just read the book of Acts.
- 0:09Wouldn't you assume that God is still doing some cool stuff?
- 0:11And that was the big problem for me.
- 0:13I was like, I just don't see a lot of cool stuff.
- 0:15So I started down this rabbit hole just asking every person I
- 0:18knew who was a sincere Christian, tell me a cool God
- 0:20story. And I got so many cool stories.
- 0:23Jesus, like he said, all this stuff was going to happen.
- 0:25He spends a third of his time casting out demons.
- 0:27I think you were alluding to something more that you.
- 0:30Experienced. Yeah.
- 0:31How much time do I have? Hey everyone, welcome back to
- 0:36the Lila Rose show. Today I'm sitting down with Ryan
- 0:38Buffet, who is the producer and the genius behind The Exorcist
- 0:43Files, which is a hip podcast with millions of downloads.
- 0:46You have probably seen Father Carlos Martens on this show
- 0:49before. He is one of the also hosts of
- 0:52The Exorcist Files and it is a fascinating show that really
- 0:55helps people understand the supernatural.
- 0:57Ryan is also the producer of a new show called Heaven and on
- 1:00Earth, which traces miracles that are happening every single
- 1:02day across the world. Did you know this fascinating
- 1:05conversation I think will be inspiring for you because the
- 1:08reality is we don't just live in a physical realm.
- 1:10We. Live in a spiritual realm as
- 1:11well. As always, don't forget to
- 1:13subscribe to the show wherever you listen to your podcast.
- 1:15And if you're here on YouTube, make sure you are subscribed and
- 1:18hit that notification bell. Ryan Bethe, welcome to the
- 1:21podcast. You have been doing some very
- 1:23cool things. I think I first met you a few
- 1:24years ago at that retreat. We actually met before that.
- 1:28OK, so I was introduced to you through a friend about 10 years
- 1:32ago. Oh, wow.
- 1:34Yeah. Because you had just started
- 1:35live action and someone said, hey, I think did you, were you
- 1:38living in LA? Yes, yes.
- 1:39And they say they're new to LA or something like that.
- 1:41And they could, they could use some friends 'cause you know, LA
- 1:44is full. Friend.
- 1:45We I well, I don't want to put you on blast year, but I did
- 1:48respond and you never returned the e-mail.
- 1:50OK, so I missed out on a friend. But you also were kind of
- 1:54building a massive organization, and I think we're pretty busy
- 1:57and I probably have more free time than you.
- 1:58But you're producing amazing projects, which is very
- 2:02exciting, and you have your own YouTube show which you guys can
- 2:05check out. It's camping with Ryan, right?
- 2:07That's yeah, it's called Ryan Bethes Show.
- 2:09Yeah, that was we we actually, that's the first big podcast I
- 2:12did. I bought an old airport shuttle
- 2:16bus from like Avis or something, tore out the insides, put a
- 2:19campfire in it and drove across the country with no plan other
- 2:22than see who God pairs us up with and we got to interview so
- 2:26many cool celebs. I mean it's some have called it
- 2:29the best podcast since the Lila Ro Show.
- 2:33Nice. It was really.
- 2:35Fun. I'll take it, Ryan, The Exorcist
- 2:38Files is crazy and you are the mastermind behind that.
- 2:42Obviously Father Carlos Martins has done amazing work with that,
- 2:46but your storytelling and even just coming up with the concept
- 2:49of doing a podcast that's focused on exorcism, I think a
- 2:52decade ago would not have maybe been a thing.
- 2:55I think you had this vision for it because you are very clued
- 3:00into the spiritual realities around us.
- 3:02And so I'd love to hear just your background, why you got
- 3:06into media and why particularly you're getting into such faith
- 3:10driven media where it's not like, oh, these are Christian
- 3:12films, but it's content about the supernatural.
- 3:15It's content about the exorcisms, contents about
- 3:17miracles and all these other things that people are mind
- 3:21blown by everyday people, people that don't even maybe have their
- 3:23own faith when they discover it for the first time.
- 3:26Yeah, so one, thanks for having me.
- 3:29I love talking about this stuff and it's weird.
- 3:31I don't know if you feel this way, but sometimes when you get
- 3:34saturated in this stuff, you forget how weird it sounds to
- 3:37someone who like, I will meet people And I had a friend bring
- 3:42some of his colleagues from a a big brand.
- 3:44So when I don't do this stuff, I actually have an agency.
- 3:47So I write comedy commercials. What's really funny is I write
- 3:49comedy commercials and do digital marketing.
- 3:52All this exploring the supernatural stuff literally was
- 3:56a side passion that is thankfully turned into something
- 3:58much bigger. But I remember bringing them out
- 4:01to dinner and he knows what I do, but he kind of left it out.
- 4:05And so he's like, hey, by the way, just let him know you're a
- 4:07digital marketer, right? But you can't not say it.
- 4:10Nick kept pressing everything, like, so like, what else do you
- 4:12do besides work, etc. Right?
- 4:13And I looked at them like, can I tell them right.
- 4:16And I go, yeah, I kind of host this show on exorcism, and you
- 4:19can hear every fork just drop and like what?
- 4:22And you're like, And I have the relic of Saint Judes broken leg
- 4:25in my bathroom right now. That was I don't I don't have
- 4:28Jude's relic in my bathroom just so for the fans don't know that
- 4:31I actually bought. Something like that.
- 4:33Right, No, I did have someone send me a first class relic of
- 4:36Saint Maria Goretti. And if you had asked me five
- 4:38years ago, what is a what is a first class, I didn't know
- 4:42there's classes of relics. What is?
- 4:43A first. Class that's an actual piece of
- 4:46a St. right? That's that's wild to think
- 4:48about. I and so we get that from
- 4:51scripture. I think it's second kings where
- 4:52they toss in a body last, you know, so they're kind of
- 4:55startled and they throw this body.
- 4:57These guys are moving a a body. I think it's a bunch of bandits
- 5:00and they throw this body and it happens to come in contact with
- 5:02the bones of Elisha and it's instantly resurrected.
- 5:05And so we go, Oh, that would be a first class relic.
- 5:08And so I had no exposure to relics or any of this stuff.
- 5:11There was a moment two years ago where I was sitting in a kitchen
- 5:16and the arm of Saint Jude. It was because it was traveling
- 5:18on tour and it was on the counter and I'm having coffee
- 5:21and I'm going, I'm sitting in the living room with an
- 5:24exorcist. We had rented this house to film
- 5:27some content and I'm going, I'm having coffee.
- 5:29There's the bone of Jude the Apostle, there's an exorcist.
- 5:36Life is weird, like what is going on here.
- 5:38But no, I so I became passionate mainly because I was having a
- 5:41tough time with faith a few years ago, mainly just because a
- 5:46Christianity to me makes the most intellectual sense of a
- 5:49bunch of imperfect explanations. I don't think you'll ever be
- 5:52able to fully reason like no one's going to be able to prove
- 5:54the origins of the universe. Science can speculate, we can
- 5:58guess and say it's created, but the end of the day, you don't
- 6:00know. And for most of us, and for me,
- 6:03and I wrestle with this because experience can't be the only
- 6:06thing, because obviously the Christian walk is filled with a
- 6:08lot of rough experiences, right? Somehow it's crept in and a lot
- 6:12of our thinking and this crept in for me too.
- 6:14It's maybe it's kind of an American thing, like, oh, follow
- 6:17God, all will be well with you. And that's weird because that's
- 6:20in no way the experience of anyone close to Christ.
- 6:23However, you do read these, like promises.
- 6:25And I was having a tough time because I'd read the Psalms.
- 6:27Like, I've never seen the righteous go hungry.
- 6:29I'm pretty sure a lot of good people starve to death every
- 6:31year. How do I make of that, right?
- 6:33And so intellectually I was like, well, human nature.
- 6:36The Bible seems to really describe human nature well.
- 6:39And but also, if I just read the Gospels and I just read the book
- 6:43of Acts, that's it. Wouldn't you assume that God is
- 6:46still doing some cool stuff? And that was the big problem for
- 6:49me. I was like, I just don't see a
- 6:52lot of cool stuff. And you hear about it around the
- 6:54world that it's Christianity is exploding.
- 6:56And Paul says, right, did I come to you in Word or in power in
- 7:00deed? And I thought I need to see some
- 7:02power. And that's not the reason.
- 7:03That's not the only reason to believe.
- 7:04And obviously you can't rely your experience on just miracles
- 7:08and Acts because that's not something sustainable.
- 7:12But I was like, you should see something.
- 7:14And so I started down this rabbit hole just asking every
- 7:18person I knew who was a sincere Christian walk the Lord for a
- 7:21decade or so or more. Tell me a cool God story.
- 7:24And I got so many cool stories to the point where it gets
- 7:27actually kind of infuriating. You're like, OK, I'm the common
- 7:30denominator. Like everyone has had a cool God
- 7:32moment but me. And I'm talking like I met my
- 7:36spouse because I was praying Lord, there was this person 20
- 7:39years ago. And I just really, I think that
- 7:41was the person I was supposed to meet.
- 7:42And I just always in the sense they got away.
- 7:43So if that was you bring it back and they bump into a grocery
- 7:46store an hour later. That's awesome.
- 7:49Right, results may vary. Want to be very clear, someone
- 7:52going in for heart surgery and both doctors had said or initial
- 7:56like an angiogram and said, Hey, you have some significant
- 8:01blockages. And then they get prayed over
- 8:05and they someone has a word and says, I feel like the Lord's
- 8:09saying, the doctor's going to be confounded.
- 8:10And then the next day they open it up and they go, there's no
- 8:13blockage. We're so we literally confounded
- 8:15and you hear these stories and you go, Oh my gosh, I want that
- 8:18to be my experience. So I started just really going
- 8:20after God for this stuff and it led me to my own kind of
- 8:24personal experience where I finally was off the term would
- 8:27be rewarded because I don't want to say it's an urn thing, but it
- 8:29was a finally God was like, I do think when we pursue God in a
- 8:33certain way, especially the way in the New Testament, you see
- 8:36all these crazy actions to get, you know, crawling through
- 8:39crowds, screaming, lowering friends through roofs.
- 8:42It feels like Jesus kind of smiles when you go after him
- 8:44like that. And then I just had this like
- 8:46reciprocation and had something really cool happened.
- 8:49And I told this story to a friend at a major streamer and
- 8:53he goes, that's a great show idea.
- 8:55You should just collect awesome stories.
- 8:57What? What happened to you?
- 8:58Well, I'll tell that story. I that's a little bit longer and
- 9:00I can remind me. We'll go, I'll, I'll get to that
- 9:02one. But he says, that's a crazy cool
- 9:05story. And I said, great, let's make it
- 9:07even bigger. And at the time I was reading a
- 9:08book and the book had documented and said that, hey, did you know
- 9:11the Catholic Church has a process for investigating
- 9:14miracles? And I went, what?
- 9:16So I learned about the canonization process, not
- 9:18because I thought I was going to be a St., but if anyone's
- 9:20interested in becoming a St., Sadly, the fastest track is
- 9:23martyrdom, right? But let's take that off the
- 9:25table. After you go, you need to have
- 9:27two miracles with your name. And I was blown away by the
- 9:30rigor and the process. And so I said, this is really
- 9:34interesting. So I did what any producer would
- 9:36do. I posted on Facebook.
- 9:37Does anyone know anyone at the Vatican?
- 9:39And someone responded, I actually have a friend who has a
- 9:42friend. So I just flew out there on
- 9:44faith and I took a, a friend of mine who's a, a veteran producer
- 9:48and we managed to, Long story short, get connected with some
- 9:52really influential people there who said, love your vision, love
- 9:56your dream for this. But this involves medical
- 9:58records. You don't just walk in.
- 10:00This is very, these causes take years.
- 10:02This is not something you're able to do a show on.
- 10:05But I said, what about spiritual warfare?
- 10:08And they said, well, there is someone we would actually, you
- 10:11know, love to refer you to. And obviously there's no head
- 10:13exorcist, right? But I had a couple to say this
- 10:16is someone who we send some really difficult cases to.
- 10:19You should talk to this person. And that was Father Carlos.
- 10:23So I got connected and I famously called him and he said,
- 10:26how did you get this number? And I said, oh, I was given your
- 10:29number by our mutual friend and he didn't believe me.
- 10:32He till this day will say, I thought you made it up and you
- 10:34just found out. He's like, because he's like,
- 10:36this isn't a joke, kid. This is exorcism.
- 10:38This is not. So it was the number of people
- 10:41usually call if they need an exorcism.
- 10:43Yeah, or just like, you know. Press.
- 10:45Or yeah, or it comes through a it comes through a Bishop, or it
- 10:48comes to another priest. Who are you, Ryan?
- 10:50Not some Protestant who like he's never met going wait, how'd
- 10:53you get my number? I mean, I've probably it was
- 10:55like telemarketer and then me. That is very funny.
- 10:58And so but. Little did he know that you
- 11:00would be his best friend. I don't know if he was Sam, his
- 11:02best friend, but I am. I am his Co producer.
- 11:05His Co producer and good friend? No, but he it's so we started
- 11:10talking for a few months and he told me some stories and I went
- 11:13which are now famously, you know, produced into the exorcist
- 11:17file show. But he said that, you know, he
- 11:20was very concerned about Hollywood and its way it
- 11:22glamorized and the way it glorified because it is
- 11:25attention, right? There's a lot of there's no rule
- 11:27that an exorcist has to be secret, but there is a tendency
- 11:30that it's like car crashes. We all look at them, right.
- 11:33And I mean, I'm sure you've had spiritual warfare guests on.
- 11:36I am going to guess hot take that those episodes do well,
- 11:40right? Anything any mention of
- 11:42spiritual. It's a popular topic.
- 11:43Humans have a fascination and. Because I think we're so
- 11:47constantly heads down in the material and that's American
- 11:51Society. It's very consumeristic, it's
- 11:53very materialistic. It's not really concerned with
- 11:56the supernatural on the day-to-day basis.
- 12:00And so I think there's a starvation.
- 12:02For God that we're all made for. We're all made for Him and
- 12:06there's a starvation for the things of God, which is why the
- 12:08supernatural topics are so fascinating to people.

- 13:06That's everylife.com/join. Use the code Lila.
- 13:10Like if you went to the average person and said, hey, I, yeah, I
- 13:14think most things are medical. Like we live in a broken world.
- 13:16We have broken biology, right? We're dying, right?
- 13:19That's the nature of the world. But even postulate, by the way,
- 13:23you might have a spiritual cause to this, right?
- 13:26That's for so long that was ignored.
- 13:29There was a guy named Derek Prince who is a big evangelist
- 13:31in the 50s and 60s, and he wrote this book called They Shall
- 13:34Expel Demons. And he talked about battling
- 13:37with depression for decades. And then one day in prayer, the
- 13:39Lord said, rebuke the spirit of depression.
- 13:42And he's like what? He's like, all right, Like Lord,
- 13:45I asked, you know, not in my power, but your power.
- 13:47I rebuke a spirit of depression and he goes instantly healed.
- 13:50And for him that was his journey.
- 13:52But it started this process where he's like in his time,
- 13:54they weren't doing like if you came and said, Hey, you have a
- 13:57spiritual, they're like, no, no, you're baptized Christian.
- 13:59You can't have problems. That's just not a thing.
- 14:02It's there's a there's a medication, there's something
- 14:04that needs to be tackled. So I am grateful and excited
- 14:07that we're finally opening our eyes to the fact that there just
- 14:10could be other causes. And I don't look running for
- 14:12this stuff anywhere everywhere. But you know, you go around the
- 14:15world, every culture except pretty much like seems like her
- 14:18Western, you know, scientific culture.
- 14:21Like you mentioned evil spirits, like of course, of course that's
- 14:24a thing, right? And so this show has really
- 14:26opened my eyes to that. And so when father and I talked
- 14:29and he said, Hey, look like the the agreement point was, Hey,
- 14:33father, do you want to document the fact that there are like
- 14:36Ouija boards are something you shouldn't do, right?
- 14:38It goes absolutely astrology. It's not something you should be
- 14:40involved with, right? Like there's a rampant rise in a
- 14:43cult activity because to your point, people are super hungry
- 14:46for spiritual, right? So that vacuum is going to be
- 14:48filled. So let's put something out
- 14:50there. Also, this is a really great
- 14:52medium to no pun intended, right?
- 14:54But this is a good medium to entertain while educating,
- 14:57right? Because there are certain folks
- 14:58who don't want to go sit for a homily, even if it's just 12
- 15:01minutes, right? They want to go in and they want
- 15:03to do they want to be entertained.
- 15:04And you look at, I mean, you can't unknown this, but you look
- 15:07at exorcism content typically does very well.
- 15:10It's very interesting how secular and skeptic a lot of my
- 15:14friends are or a lot of friends that I have are.
- 15:17But then when it comes to exorcism content, like, Oh, we
- 15:19want to go see a Catholic actress movie, right?
- 15:21That's that's scary. I mean, I know people who were
- 15:24converted because the extras, not because they had an
- 15:26experience. Oh, yeah.
- 15:27They said it was so terrifying that they ran like left.
- 15:30I know one guy left the theater, ran home and was like, I need to
- 15:34go to church right now. Right.
- 15:36What? You go, wow, it's not how I
- 15:38would like prefer everyone like come to know the Lord, but hey,
- 15:41fear of the Lord, beginning of wisdom.
- 15:44So father and I finally was like, Hey, if you're going to do
- 15:47this, it needs to be stewarded. Well, it's not going to glorify
- 15:50and it's going to be a teaching tool as well as entertainment
- 15:52edutainment, if you will. And so we started off and
- 15:56started shopping at around Hollywood and wouldn't you know,
- 15:59this little COVID thing happened.
- 16:01So I was like, great, God does not want this to happen right
- 16:04now. And then a really cool story
- 16:06because I again, I wanted to do a podcast.
- 16:08I thought they would go, but also the TV was our big vision.
- 16:11And then a friend was fasting and praying for me, which good
- 16:14friends do. That's a good friend.
- 16:15So you know who you are and said, Hey, I want to introduce
- 16:18you to someone. And that person actually
- 16:20interesting called me this morning and they had worked with
- 16:23iHeartRadio and we talked and a week later we had an offer to do
- 16:26it with iHeartRadio and they loved the vision.
- 16:29I said let's do old time radio drama.
- 16:31I grew up on those old radio shows where they would use tin
- 16:34foil for the sound of Thunder, you know, like opening a door.
- 16:38They'd actually have a little door they'd open and close.
- 16:39And yeah, we got paired up with an incredible team there.
- 16:42And father's cases, as you know, are just, I mean, they're what?
- 16:46And these are the exceptions. I think anyone who doesn't know
- 16:48the show, we are profiling true stories that are re enacted and
- 16:51then turn into 3D binaural audio, which means surround
- 16:55sound when you put the headphones on.
- 16:56And he Co hosted with me and narrates these cases with these
- 16:59re enactments. But these cases are also
- 17:01extreme. We picked them because they each
- 17:04teach a lesson, but they're they're not.
- 17:07I mean, a lot of these cases are people who are heavily involved
- 17:09in the occult, serious and, like, open doors, right?
- 17:12Not this is not your average thing.
- 17:14And one thing I really appreciated is now having
- 17:16interviewed, you know, over a dozen exorcists who take it very
- 17:19seriously. They all take it seriously.
- 17:21They're not anxious to jump in front of a camera.
- 17:23They're like, it's a very serious thing.
- 17:25And they're also like, yeah, it's also very rare.
- 17:27Like, most of the time we look for mental illness, natural
- 17:30causes. And then when it's real, when
- 17:32it's spiritual, great. We not handle it.
- 17:34I think that's very encouraging. And I, we've had a few exorcist
- 17:37on the show, including Father Carlos Marnes.
- 17:39And when they say, OK, this is not like the devil's behind
- 17:42every corner. Because I think we can tend to
- 17:45give too much credence to the devil too and be too.
- 17:49It's possible to be too fascinated by the devil, right?
- 17:51But at the same time, it's possible to ignore these
- 17:54spiritual realities as well and to pretend like they don't
- 17:57exist. So there's some kind of happy
- 17:58middle. And then again, like you're
- 18:00describing, if you approach studying exorcism as an example
- 18:04or learning exorcism with an eye towards, OK, what can I learn
- 18:08about who God is through this God's justice and his mercy.
- 18:11I think that also is a different approach.
- 18:13And I know Father Carlos is so beautiful at sharing about God's
- 18:17mercy. Like that is ultimately his
- 18:19message. And the other exorcist we've had
- 18:21on this show, that is their message.
- 18:22It's a message of God's mercy, God's Providence, God's love.
- 18:25And so you can't help but be encouraged by that.
- 18:28It's not just some scary, spooky thing like a horror movie.
- 18:30It's this encouragement. And I think you've done that
- 18:33really well with your, I'm going to call it a ministry.
- 18:35I mean, I know it's a business. I know it's a, you know, media,
- 18:38but I do think it's a ministry because you're approaching it
- 18:40with that lens as opposed to, I do think the Exorcist movie.
- 18:43I have not seen it. It's too terrifying for me.
- 18:47It's pretty. Dated now you could you could
- 18:48you could get by it's some of the effects are.
- 18:51It's less of like about God's mercy and love that movie is my
- 18:54understanding. It's more of a.
- 18:55Oh yeah, I know. It doesn't end.
- 18:56It's more of a horror horror movie.
- 18:58No, absolutely. It just raised the awareness.
- 19:00But I will, I will say to that point, we had a really beautiful
- 19:04moment in Season 2. There's another exorcist, Father
- 19:08Zeta, who's just like, super long beard, looks like Gandalf.
- 19:12Exactly. When you say I want an extras to
- 19:14walk in, that's who you want to walk in.
- 19:16All that was missing was a staff.
- 19:18Brilliant. He's actually got a degree in
- 19:19psychology. And he's just, yeah, he's super,
- 19:22just a really amazing man. But during the recording of one
- 19:28of the cases he was sharing, because he's actually
- 19:30contributed a story and it got very emotional.
- 19:33We had a pause recording for a minute, and he had to kind of
- 19:35collect himself. And in this story, this girl is
- 19:39tormented by demons, actually relapses.
- 19:41We cover the phenomenon that's alluded to in the Gospels.
- 19:43How old was she? She was a teenager and she had
- 19:46gone astray been to the first time in this story her father
- 19:50had inadvertently dedicated her to demons in the Freemasonry or
- 19:54no no through Santeria and so and again I don't I don't know
- 19:59the the dad, but I'm assuming it was a.
- 20:02Again, these are the, you know, again, all I'm people can
- 20:04disagree. They can say this sounds crazy.
- 20:06I'm just I'm like a journalist. I'm reporting, hey, when I
- 20:09interview a doctor or I interview an exorcist and they
- 20:11say, look, I don't know all the rules, but I do know when I cast
- 20:15the demon on it said, how did you get in?
- 20:17This was the the door, they said, so you can argue with me
- 20:19that it doesn't. And yeah.
- 20:21And I don't know why 90 people play with the Ouija board.
- 20:24Nothing happens. They sell them at, you know, toy
- 20:26stores or and why one person like in one of our cases, it
- 20:30wasn't even the person who brought the Ouija board home.
- 20:32They were just invited to play and no one else got afflicted
- 20:35except this person. I don't know, right?
- 20:37I don't know all those details. But when I interviewed 10
- 20:40exorcists and they all say this is a door we see, I go, great,
- 20:44I'm going to I'll trust you. I'll take your word for.
- 20:46It great. I'm going to close that door
- 20:47myself and not go there. So in this case, I guess in this
- 20:50particular area, they were dedicating kids to local deities
- 20:55as part of A and I'm I'm going to imagine it was probably more
- 20:58like a cultural thing and like not even a no parent would
- 21:00probably willingly, knowingly bring on that harm that.
- 21:04But anyway, the demons claimed that was the entry point.
- 21:07They had got cast out. And then as I'm sure your, you
- 21:10know, your listeners are probably well aware of, there's
- 21:12a, you know, there's that famous verse that, you know, the demons
- 21:15cast out and it wanders through arid places and then it comes
- 21:18back and it looks to see if they can get back in.
- 21:20And if the house is swept clean and if there's nothing there
- 21:22occupying it, it'll bring back seven spirits more wicked than
- 21:26it, right? And then the condition is worse
- 21:29than it was originally. And that phenomena has been
- 21:32something that had been documented.
- 21:33So this was a case of repossession and so.
- 21:37Sorry to interrupt, but had she so had this girl received an
- 21:40exorcism and been delivered of possession?
- 21:43And then she didn't like what? Practicing faith?
- 21:45She didn't pray. What?
- 21:46She went back into some habitual sin.
- 21:49She went back into some habitual sin.
- 21:51Like mortal sin. Yeah, actually I don't know, I
- 21:54wouldn't be able to classify what exactly is the the degree
- 21:57of that, but it was enough to wear.
- 21:58It was enough to. It wasn't like, oh, I was rude
- 22:01to my mother. Yeah, yeah.
- 22:02No, no, no, it was, yeah. It wasn't like they broke their
- 22:05keto fast, right? It was so they went, she
- 22:09relapsed and started manifesting and had some and household.
- 22:13She had physiological problems too.
- 22:15And it's important to note the 2 are not mutually exclusive.
- 22:17You can totally have this because people will say, well,
- 22:19what about and you have seizures and schizophrenias.
- 22:22Oh yeah, of course, all variables, right?
- 22:25And you can have both. But so she relapsed and it was
- 22:27way worse, right? And he tells the story and so
- 22:30and these spoiling too much. The demons are driving her to
- 22:33this breaking point, right? And she and she almost died and
- 22:38she was miraculously rescued at the last minute, right through
- 22:42an intercession of Saint Michael the Archangel by her own again,
- 22:46her words and fathers, fathers ate us.
- 22:49But he had to collect himself. And I don't think he would mind
- 22:53me sharing this. But it was a beautiful moment
- 22:56because he was like getting misty eyed.
- 22:59And he goes, man, it's like we almost lost her, you know, And
- 23:02he brought up this really beautiful like to anyone who's
- 23:05doubting, you can doubt like whether they saw what they saw,
- 23:09you know, stuff at the end of the day.
- 23:10It's like when you see these people who have like no money,
- 23:13they're not it's not a Commission.
- 23:15They're cloistered off in the middle of nowhere, right?
- 23:18And they get called in and this is not a fun thing.
- 23:20No one you know, it's in the movies.
- 23:22It looks cool when your counter Reeves is Constantine and you're
- 23:24bashing them in with your divine brass knuckles.
- 23:26But all the time it's praying for hours, right?
- 23:30And getting cussed at, right, and dealing with someone who's
- 23:33probably got a lot of issues going on.
- 23:35And so he breaks down and he goes almost lost her.
- 23:37And he's like, you know, you do, you can say the prayers, you can
- 23:42do everything, right? You're the, you're the ex, you
- 23:43are there as the priest, you are there to remind them and like
- 23:47shepherd them, right? But at the end of the day, it's
- 23:50between that person and God, right?
- 23:53And God above all, that has a sovereign plan for the timing in
- 23:58which he wants to affect liberation.
- 24:00But for a lot of people, and this is the scary thing that I
- 24:03heard, I shouldn't say scary. It's a sobering thought.
- 24:08It's based on who you ask. Half the people choose not to be
- 24:11liberated, right? Which is probably a commentary
- 24:13on how ensnaring sin is. And any of us who know, you
- 24:17know, like, you know, I got breaking news, like I've been a
- 24:19Sinner, you know, and there are things that like sin actually
- 24:22distorts your mind and it warps you.
- 24:24And you can see how people, we have a case where a guy
- 24:26literally walks away, goes, I don't want it.
- 24:27I'll take these side effects. This is a kid who is getting

- 25:32When he says I'll take the side effects, I don't want it.
- 25:35Is it he doesn't want to live a certain other path.
- 25:37He doesn't want to trust in the mercy of God.
- 25:39Like what is the thing this? Episode they're.
- 25:41Rejecting. This episode, called Predatory,
- 25:43detailed a spirit that conferred upon this young college kid the
- 25:50alleged ability to manipulate women into being crazy attracted
- 25:55to him. And so he said, I want all the
- 25:58demon was giving him, like, basically like fulfilling all
- 26:02his lusts. And he said, and so father
- 26:05cornered him and said, just do confession.
- 26:07We can get rid of this. But you got to get, you got to
- 26:09disown this thing. And he goes, can I just do
- 26:13without confession? Can I just like, just say the
- 26:15prayers and I'll go away, right? And father's like, that's not
- 26:18how it works. There's a great line in there.
- 26:19He's like, just because I wear a collar doesn't make me your dog,
- 26:22right? And so finally, he's like, fine,
- 26:24get out. Like I turn you over Like Paul,
- 26:28good luck. Have you met Doctor Sean Tobin?
- 26:30Yes, actually, I have met Doctor Sean through you guys, actually,
- 26:33yeah. Keely, obviously here at the
- 26:35show knows him well and he's he's he's amazing.
- 26:37He's been on the show a few times.
- 26:38But one of the things that he, you know, has said a few times,
- 26:40which is really compelling about all of this is that, you know,
- 26:43God is a God of love and he wants to set us free.
- 26:47But if we don't trust in him, we can't, you know, we he's not
- 26:50going to push freedom on us, right?
- 26:52And So what you're describing is so it's just very compelling
- 26:55because this person in this example, he didn't want the
- 26:58freedom because he wasn't willing to trust that God's
- 27:01goodness was greater than his lust.
- 27:03Yeah, no, absolutely. It's a it's it also shows you
- 27:06just how and talk like sins intoxicating, right.
- 27:09It had like I'm sure Eve didn't bite the fruit because it was
- 27:13sucked like or it was lame. It was probably like, oh, I this
- 27:16is enticing. What whatever was said, like
- 27:18there's a lot right. It's always the lie is always
- 27:21it's better now than it could be, right?
- 27:23And so, and it's triggering. It's a really serious, you know,
- 27:26case. And again, what was really
- 27:28interesting is I got quite a few.
- 27:29The other thing too, I would say to people who think this is just
- 27:32nuts and I get it. I know how it sounds.
- 27:34We've had psychology. Doctor Chomen's a great example,
- 27:37very smart guy. This is a learned man.
- 27:39This is not someone who just takes at face value everything
- 27:42right. And I do think there's a lot of
- 27:43people making a there are a lot of people who fake.
- 27:46I mean, you, I'm sure you talked about this with the actors
- 27:49you've had on, but there's a reason that like, you know,
- 27:51hissing if someone touches A rosary to you is not considered
- 27:54a sign of possession, right? It could be, but people fake all
- 27:57the time. People also in the movie The
- 27:59Exorcist, it's the medical team in the book, I should say the
- 28:02book or the medical team says give Regan an exorcism.
- 28:05It's not. Doesn't work, of course, but
- 28:07it's a good placebo, right? Why?
- 28:09Why do people fake being possessed?
- 28:12Well, one, there's people want attention, right?
- 28:15I mean, I've, I've come from pretty charismatic background.
- 28:18I can tell you that there are plenty of people who will be
- 28:21slain in the spirit for adulation.
- 28:24There are also because we're humans, we're broken.
- 28:26The other part is you would want something to be spiritual,
- 28:30right? Because then it could get fixed,
- 28:32right? Which is why they have to be so
- 28:33careful to grant an exorcism because you're essentially
- 28:36telling someone. Yeah, we believe like, and
- 28:39that's one thing I would say, too.
- 28:40I was shocked at how hard it was to get an extra.
- 28:42I didn't know this going into it.
- 28:43I knew nothing. I had zero Catholic exposure
- 28:46going into this show. And I've been so grateful to
- 28:49learn so much. And just the process, like, it's
- 28:51hard to get an exorcism, as it should be.
- 28:53That being said, it's not hard to get help.
- 28:55I want to encourage people like, if you got a problem, you can
- 28:57find a priest, a path. People pray for you, right?
- 29:00And there's a difference. And, you know, and most people,
- 29:02and even Father Carlos would say this, right?
- 29:04The vast majority of people reporting problems that they
- 29:08think are spiritual are not being granted full blown
- 29:12exorcisms like you see, you know in a movie, right?
- 29:15It's that's a serious thing that requires medical evaluation.
- 29:18Dr. Tobin is part of that process and he'll help evaluate
- 29:21people or has also, we've had Doctor Richard Gallagher on the
- 29:24show who is a very eminent psychologist and he's consulted
- 29:28on many cases. He has a great book which I tell
- 29:30people called Demonic Foes, which are just his experiences
- 29:33as a psychologist saying I've met people just started speaking
- 29:35a strange language or people blacking out who couldn't hear
- 29:39scripture or couldn't see it. And there could be a natural
- 29:42explanation. But then you go, is it also
- 29:44impossible that if these things are real, they also could be
- 29:46manipulating that. And I think people sometimes
- 29:49always. The other question is where the
- 29:51tapes? Show me the tapes and I use,
- 29:54yeah, show me the recordings. Why don't you videotape one for
- 29:56us just to prove it of an extra? Yeah, prove it of the exorcism.
- 29:59And it's funny, in today's AI world, if someone sent you a
- 30:02tape, what's your first thing? Is this doctored?
- 30:04Is this real? Is this AI second part?
- 30:06I'm like, fine, show me. Do you go to therapy with your
- 30:09spouse? Great.
- 30:09I want to see that tape right now.
- 30:11Right now, it's the most intense, private thing you can
- 30:13think of. I understand that.
- 30:15Can it be filmed? It's it's against the.
- 30:17It's a canonically I. Don't know if it's canonically,
- 30:20I just know that I've never met an extra suicide.
- 30:21Like it's just it's, it's extremely that's all people are
- 30:23doing and saying. And it's like videotaping A
- 30:26confession, right? No bueno, right?
- 30:29So it's it's but I would say the fact that it's so difficult to
- 30:32get one is a mark of how serious they treat and the fact they
- 30:35bring in doctors to evaluate. Like I have met on the show
- 30:39psychologist who work with father Martens like to help
- 30:42evaluate cases, right. I love that they go, yeah, you
- 30:45might need mental health like. Help.
- 30:47I think that's such a interesting point too that
- 30:49you're making, because they're those people that are pretty
- 30:52pious or they're really into faith.
- 30:53They really want to grow, draw closer to God.
- 30:56And then they have your laundry list of normal problems that
- 30:58afflict us humans, right? Like they suffer with anxiety or
- 31:01they struggle with depression or they struggle with moods or
- 31:05whatever their, you know, relationship issues or whatever
- 31:07it is, right? Or they hear spooky noises at
- 31:09night. I don't know.
- 31:10And it could be tempting to assign too much, you know, power
- 31:14to the devil. Then he then he actually
- 31:16possesses right Be like, well, I'm am I being like oppressed by
- 31:19a needle spirit right now? Is a spiritual warfare or is
- 31:22this, Oh, I didn't have a good breakfast.
- 31:25I didn't get enough sleep. You know, I'm, I'm not taking
- 31:28good enough care of my body or my mind or my psyche, whatever,
- 31:31my soul on a natural level. And so therefore, you know,
- 31:35there's these things that I'm struggling with.
- 31:37And I think that's parsing that is part of the job of like a
- 31:39doctor. Sean Tobin, of course.
- 31:40And I think that also gives a lot of confidence though, too,
- 31:44to people, any person that there's a natural order that we
- 31:47can work with in. And only occasionally, it's
- 31:49rare, you know, that you're going to have some supernatural,
- 31:53preternatural overlay of some demonic activity.
- 31:56It's usually something like, oh, you need to get more sleep or
- 31:59you need to take better care of yourself, or you do need to deal
- 32:01with, you know, maybe trauma from your history, your past.
- 32:04Yeah, that's a great point too, is every exercise I've talked to
- 32:06is huge on therapy, right. Like they say, there's wounds,
- 32:10we all have emotional wounds and they fester.
- 32:12And again, I I start with the premise else and I I like to use
- 32:16non absolute language because yeah, can I be wrong about this?
- 32:18Of course I go. But yeah, I was in an Uber a few
- 32:21weeks ago and the driver goes, Oh, I love we talk about
- 32:24podcasts and he goes, what kind of podcast do you do?
- 32:26And I was like, we're almost home.
- 32:28He can, you know, we'll see if he flips out of this, right?
- 32:30And I shared and he goes, that's so real.
- 32:33He goes in my village where I'm from, right?
- 32:36It is common practice to dedicate children up on this
- 32:39mountain to like, evil spirits, right?
- 32:42And you give them one so they don't touch the rest of your
- 32:44family. I, I was blown away.
- 32:47And I think it was something that just confirmed my
- 32:49experience. And and he says.
- 32:50Sorry. They give them one of the
- 32:51children. Yeah.
- 32:52Exactly. They, I don't know, it was, he's
- 32:54like they dedicate, one of the children said.
- 32:55That the other family members would be spared.
- 32:57Yeah, or the other kids would be spared.
- 32:58It was like a peace offering, right?
- 32:59And I don't know, he didn't give me too much detail.
- 33:02And sure, maybe he's making it, but I it seemed pretty sincere.
- 33:05And he said, oh, I love the idea of shows.
- 33:07He's like people. He's like, people need to know
- 33:08it's a real thing there. And Jesus also is very real in
- 33:11their village. It's known as the one who can
- 33:13beat the other deities, right? And I have another friend who's
- 33:17been on the show who did deliverance ministry with a
- 33:19prominent minister in Brazil for a long time.
- 33:22And again, same thing goes. Dude, it's not fun.
- 33:24You shouldn't want to just you can like fall in love with the
- 33:27liberation, fall in love that people are getting freedom.
- 33:29And I tell people that too is hey, you can think this is
- 33:31crazy. You can think it's scary.
- 33:33You can think that this is unnecessarily that, but rejoice
- 33:37in the fact that people are finding help, even if you think
- 33:38it's placebo, right? If people are getting free,
- 33:41let's all celebrate that. And also I get we at this point,
- 33:45we've gotten thousands of emails now from one people say I found
- 33:49a new faith because of this show, right?
- 33:51Every week, thousands of emails. Yeah.
- 33:53And I every week, every week I get an e-mail, at least the
- 33:56couple, usually someone's saying, Hey, your show finally
- 34:00articulated something. My friends think I'm nuts,
- 34:03right, But I've been experiencing this hearing
- 34:06someone else go through this. Thank you for validating this
- 34:08right, because we've been told for so long, you're Christian,
- 34:11you can't have a like a spirit problem.
- 34:13And I just go back to the book of Job and I go, I know that's
- 34:16wisdom literature. We can debate the the
- 34:18aeronautics of it, but the end of the day, if we didn't know
- 34:21that first part right about Satan's, you know, wager with
- 34:23God, you would look at Job and you say, wow, this guy lost
- 34:27family members. We've all lost family members.
- 34:29This guy economic ruin. We've all faced hard times
- 34:31financially and this guy also got really sick, right?
- 34:35We've all faced illness, right? And the whole time people are
- 34:37like, would you do wrong? You know, just like confess your
- 34:40sin before God. And we have we don't get a
- 34:43reason. And the important thing in that
- 34:44book, we never get an answer right, but it was entirely
- 34:47spiritual. That entire thing was a
- 34:49spiritual like assault from the enemy and we didn't know about
- 34:53it. We were we as the reader, we get
- 34:55to know, but he had no idea. And then at the end, God doesn't
- 34:58go, dude, I'm so sorry. I had this wager.
- 35:00I had to prove Satan wrong in front of everybody, right?
- 35:02It was just like, who are you right, I am God, right, but he
- 35:06blessed the latter days more than the former.
- 35:08And so I just that story gives me peace that like you know
- 35:11what, like there could be a lot considered there could be
- 35:13spiritual causes, right? We are not just like body like
- 35:17we are mind, body and spirit. And is it that crazy to think
- 35:21that we could have spiritual afflictions?
- 35:23And the good news is if there is spiritual afflictions, right,
- 35:26then we can we can treat people like what is Christ's big
- 35:29mission, right? He came to abolish the works of
- 35:32the devil. As you may know, porn addiction

- 36:35Once you do a show like this and you see it and you read the
- 36:38scriptures like Jesus, he said all this stuff is gonna happen,
- 36:41right? He goes around casting.
- 36:43That's something to how we lost this.
- 36:44But he spends a third of his time casting out demons.
- 36:48It's a thing, right? And so if, if he says, Hey,
- 36:52you're going to do all the things I do, right, that should
- 36:54be a thing. Or in the sense maybe, you know,
- 36:56we could argue that like you're going to face spiritual
- 36:59afflictions, right? And don't be surprised.
- 37:01But remember, there's that. I think it was the, the man who
- 37:05was born blind and maybe the woman is bleeding.
- 37:07It was the man who was born blind and was like, who sinned
- 37:09that this guy should be born blind.
- 37:11He goes, no, he's like, this one was literally born blind so that
- 37:14the works of God could be made manifest.
- 37:16And so God permits this stuff so that he can show off.
- 37:20And that's the beautiful part is like these people are getting
- 37:22liberated everywhere. And I think the best part of the
- 37:26good news is that, you know, you talk to all these extras and
- 37:28they're like, they just, they love this.
- 37:30If Satan is real, if these minions are real, if this whole
- 37:33thing is real, if there are evil agents trying to torment us and
- 37:37lead us away from God, they are actually being Co opted by God
- 37:41despite their best attempt to actually lead us closer to God.
- 37:44And they are the ultimate pawn in his scheme.
- 37:48And it's just got to drive him nuts.
- 37:49And so I just, yeah, I would encourage people like, you know,
- 37:52that's consider that we live in a bubble and just know that if
- 37:56you travel around the world to so many places, they're like
- 37:59evil. Of course, those are real,
- 38:00right? And then Jesus getting famous
- 38:02because he's known as the one who like the spirits respond to
- 38:07right, which is very cool. So.
- 38:10That's very, very cool. We're we're filming this the day
- 38:12that the Pope was announced. So we have Pope Leo the 14th,
- 38:17but what you're speaking about reminds me about Pope Leo the
- 38:2013th. Pope Leo the 14th is obviously
- 38:23all this. He was the predecessor for our
- 38:25new Pope. And it's very important when the
- 38:27Pope chooses the name, there's something special there.
- 38:29They're they're kind of signaling something that they're
- 38:31learning from or they're kind of continuing the work of that
- 38:34prior Pope or Saint that they're choosing the name from.
- 38:37So anyways, Pope Leo the 13th wrote the Saint Michael prayer,
- 38:41which is so cool. And what's really awesome about
- 38:44the Saint Michael prayer, I've always, always thought is that
- 38:47be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the
- 38:49devil. May God rebuke him.
- 38:51And I think the rebuke that so Saint Michael, them Archangel
- 38:55defend us in battle. I know you know this be our
- 38:56defense against the wickedness and sinners of the devil.
- 38:58May God rebuke and we humbly pray.
- 39:00But I think it's so interesting about that.
- 39:01It's like, what's the worst rebuke that Satan could endure?
- 39:05Being made to look puny and powerless and stupid because
- 39:09he's he's been jealous of God, right?
- 39:10That's why Lucifer fell as he was.
- 39:12He wanted to be God. He said I will not serve, not in
- 39:14Serbian. And so when all the angels had
- 39:16the choice, are you going to serve God or not?
- 39:19Satan chose. I'm not going to serve God.
- 39:21And then him and all the demons fell.
- 39:23But so the thing that he hates the most is to be shown to be
- 39:27stupid and puny and less than God.
- 39:29Like he doesn't have the power. So it's like catch him in his
- 39:32own sneer. So what you're speaking to,
- 39:33which is really the beauty and and the mercy of God, is that
- 39:36even in all of these things of possessions and the occult and
- 39:39all of the darkness, right, of this Kingdom of darkness, when
- 39:43God does these beautiful things where he uses these evils to
- 39:46bring about a great good, it makes Satan a lot more angry.
- 39:49Oh, yeah. But it's so beautiful to see.
- 39:51Well, especially if he's helping lead people.
- 39:53I mean, because here's the thing too is, you know, people recover
- 39:55from this stuff and now they know how real the enemy is.
- 39:58And so now they're more on fire. It's like, yes, you know,
- 40:00that's, that's the risk he takes again, if it's real.
- 40:04I asked Phil to he's like, well, if this is real, why wouldn't
- 40:05where's the proof? And I go, if these things are
- 40:07real, if they're if demons are real and the only way they get
- 40:10basically like their butts kicked is to be made like aware
- 40:14of their presence and then removed.
- 40:17Like there's a reason cockroaches hide in corners,
- 40:19etcetera. They hide because like if they
- 40:22were, who says they're going to follow your rules of scientific
- 40:24rigor, they're going to respond. I mean, the amount of here's the
- 40:28thing too. You may have, I don't know if
- 40:29you've had Chuck and Carrie on your show from nefarious, but I
- 40:33it's kind of a known thing. And again, you look at the
- 40:35history. I invite anyone look at the
- 40:37history of the filming of the movie The exorcist and all the
- 40:40bad things that went wrong. Google what happened on the set
- 40:44of the exorcism of Emily Rose. Way less dramatic, but still
- 40:47like there's it's fun. Like you can look it up.
- 40:49People reported like clocks turning on by themselves.
- 40:52And is that because Satan liked the movie or didn't like the
- 40:55movie? I haven't asked him thankfully
- 40:58because. Though I, I don't consider like
- 41:00the Exorcist or the Exorcism of Emily Rose to be movies that are
- 41:04like, oh, those are great, like faith affirming movies
- 41:06necessarily. I mean, I could maybe I have the
- 41:08wrong view of them, especially maybe there's also a difference.
- 41:11The exorcism of Emily Roe, right?
- 41:13It's Roe. Emily Rose, yeah.
- 41:15Which is the famous case of Annalise Michelle?
- 41:18Which is a very famous case, but.
- 41:20Did you think that ended well, That movie?
- 41:22So Emily Rose, I really personally, I just enjoy it's
- 41:25good film. I thought it was good film
- 41:26making. I mean, it doesn't end well in
- 41:28the sense that I mean, analyst Michelle died, right.
- 41:30So in the real story, like she died.
- 41:31Did she go to heaven? Well, I think so, yes.
- 41:34I mean, in the story, In the story, she was given a choice to
- 41:37come back, right? And to bear, what do you call
- 41:41it? So that her suffering would be
- 41:42redeemed and used to make people aware of stuff, right?
- 41:45And I, I have stories we've collected for another show on
- 41:48miracles where I, I have a good friend who had a near death
- 41:51experience and God said you can come home now and we'll be
- 41:55totally fine. No shame, right?
- 41:57But if you want to go back for your daughters, his family,
- 42:01etcetera, it's going to be really rough, but I will be with
- 42:03you and I will use it. And so kind of like you have a
- 42:07choice, but all right, how can I not right.
- 42:09And so he he's like I said, I'm going back, right?
- 42:11And then you went and woke up and it was like pain started
- 42:14etcetera. And he that that experience
- 42:16anchors him. I know several stories like
- 42:18that, which is really something we don't think about too.
- 42:20Like I I have a dear friend who lost a loved one and felt really
- 42:24LED in the spirit that she really felt that this person was
- 42:27going to get healed. And when they didn't, it was,
- 42:29and there's so many confirming where and you go, what happened?
- 42:32And one thing that we've talked about, and again, I don't know
- 42:35this, but like is, you know, is does that happen sometimes or
- 42:39people say, Hey, you have a choice, like Are you ready to
- 42:41come home? Or is there stuff I want, you
- 42:43know, is God saying, Hey, actually you can come home now,
- 42:45but would you go back? I got some stuff for you to do
- 42:48right? And we don't know.
- 42:49Or maybe some, I wonder sometimes people were praying to
- 42:52heal, etcetera. And then maybe they're like in
- 42:54their spirit and they can't communicate and they're like,
- 42:56I'm going to go home. Like my work here's done, you
- 42:59know so. That they got the ultimate
- 43:01healing, which is like got to go.
- 43:02They got to go home. Yeah, we're all healed in the
- 43:04all. But like, you know, if those who
- 43:06believe put their faith in Christ, right, ultimately find
- 43:08healing. We don't get it in the timing.
- 43:10But I will say I know lots of stories of healings happening
- 43:13today. What that makes me think,
- 43:14though, is is like alignment with your loved one in the
- 43:17request. Yeah, like, because it's like
- 43:20we're two or more gathered in my name, you know, then those are
- 43:23those are obviously prayers that God hears and ask and you will
- 43:26be answered, knock and the door will be open to you.
- 43:29But if you're not aligned in what you're requesting from God,
- 43:32then how does God parse that? You know, how's God going to
- 43:34respond to that? Just an interesting question.
- 43:36Because that person who's really suffering, they might want to go
- 43:38home. No, for sure.
- 43:40That is a great question. And I mean, that's people.
- 43:43It's the same with exorcism. She's like, do you want to be
- 43:44healed? You can.
- 43:45That's one thing that's really weird about these cases and
- 43:49people can say the words, right? And it's probably not one or the
- 43:53other, right? Like, for example, with this guy
- 43:56that was being, you know, this guy did not want to be thrown
- 43:58through walls, right? This guy don't want to be
- 43:59physically abused by an evil spirit in the story.
- 44:02I'm I'm guessing I'm I'm going to conjecture.
- 44:04He didn't, but he also wanted the like, you know, and so which
- 44:09ones, you know, because right. Is it, is it 100% one or the
- 44:12other? It's like no sin if you've been
- 44:13involved. Like especially some of these
- 44:15people that I've interviewed. And again, I don't know, I
- 44:17didn't know them during the peak of their powers.
- 44:19But when I interview former like people who've been heavily in
- 44:22the cult and they tell me stories like, yeah, I used to
- 44:24Astro plane and I go what? Like, yeah, I leave my body and
- 44:27just fly around and I'm like, that's I mean, it's bonkers.
- 44:31I have no framework for this, right?
- 44:33So he'll find take them with their word, right.
- 44:35But I go say that was true. So you could just like travel
- 44:38anywhere, right? You can manipulate people,
- 44:40etcetera, right? You just could get anything you
- 44:41wanted. There's probably a part, a
- 44:44broken part of you that would like say, wow, I'm going to, you
- 44:47know, hey, by the way, can I get delivered and still have this
- 44:50power and the actual no, right? Like, you know, we've had, I
- 44:54think a mutual friend, a former psychic on, right?
- 44:55It's like you cannot go on telling futures, you know,
- 44:59through demons and I. Don't think we have them on,
- 45:01have had them on yet. We're going to.
- 45:03Have them on yeah. And so but yeah, we don't feel
- 45:05like that. And so you got to sorry you got
- 45:07you got you want all of you can't have God's like blessing
- 45:11without God's authority, right. And so you got to pick who will
- 45:14you serve this day. And so there's there's a that's
- 45:17what all these episodes we do they they climax in this epic
- 45:19moment where the person. And a lot of times it's
- 45:21forgiveness. That's one thing I've also been
- 45:23surprised at is maybe half the cases the person has a wound of
- 45:27like they have crazy unforgiveness towards someone.
- 45:30That's one of the doorways. And I have found that so
- 45:33freeing. Like, you know, why is that in
- 45:35the Lord's Prayer? Why are we constantly told to
- 45:37forgive? Why are we told to turn the
- 45:38other cheek? Right.
- 45:38And it's forgiveness like because we're and then
- 45:41forgiveness towards self. That's in a huge one.
- 45:44I was shocked at how many actresses said that was a
- 45:46doorway to demonic affliction. Like you are God's temple, God
- 45:49made you and to reject yourself, to hate yourself to to black
- 45:54you, you know you are when you curse yourself, you are cursing
- 45:57God's beautiful creation and you are basically saying no, you
- 45:59erred in making me right. So that's been something I've
- 46:03really deeply found and we've done a lot of prayer together
- 46:06with people and just saying, hey everyone, it's funny how many
- 46:08people say if you close your eyes right now, is there someone
- 46:11you need to forgive, right? Even if it's a small, we always
- 46:14have someone who is currently bothering us.
- 46:16But for a lot of people, it's a like, it's funny how I'd say 2
- 46:20out of three people that I've like talked to, there's usually
- 46:22one person who wounded them, right?
- 46:25And you go forgive, forgive them.
- 46:28Fathers, I forgive myself, you know, forgive me, fathers, I
- 46:31forgive them. And it's just a really beautiful
- 46:33and that's just so cool and so special.
- 46:35And so I really, we had an episode that's one of my all
- 46:38time favorites where this kid, his dad abandoned him and then
- 46:41died from drugs. And like the kid was abandoned.
- 46:45Like it's rough. Like that's something to you
- 46:46sympathize. Like not all these things are
- 46:48people like, yo, I'm playing with a Ouija board and like,
- 46:50sucks for you. And now I'm possessed.
- 46:52It's like, no, it's there's a lot of we have one about a, a
- 46:55girl who had diagnosed schizophrenia.
- 46:58So I had a lot of psychologists write in about this episode.
- 47:00So we do have some audience who's like, and there's a people
- 47:02should know. There are psychologists who like
- 47:04are totally open to this. They, I know they're not very
- 47:06public about it. They e-mail me.
- 47:08And this girl's dad abandoned her when she was like, 9.
- 47:12And then the demon in this story, the alleged demon
- 47:15appeared as her dad and said, can I come stay with you?
- 47:17Can I come be with you? And she would just start having
- 47:20hallucinations with him all the time, right?
- 47:22And it's like, that is so insidious, right?
- 47:25And then she had to forgive him as part of her exorcism.
- 47:28She had to say, I forgive my dad for abandoning.
- 47:30And open that door effectively for her to want this evil spirit
- 47:34to help her, thinking it was her dad.
- 47:36Yeah. Oh yeah, I know.
- 47:36And it's like deceive her. And then you go, how would the
- 47:39Angel he become even if he come disguised as an Angel of light?
- 47:42And you go So again, to always hit it on a big point, just pray
- 47:46about everything. We have an upcoming episode
- 47:48about ghosts which was really fascinating. 4 people tell these
- 47:52crazy ghost stories. I mean, and you go, is it a
- 47:55demon? Is it a ghost?
- 47:57And I go, you know what, the end of day as far as your
- 47:59prescription prescribed behavior, pray about it.
- 48:01Pray about it. Worst case, nothing happens.
- 48:03Best case you avoid something evil, or in the case of
- 48:07something I'm still trying to wrap my head around with cow
- 48:09geology is you are helping someone who's currently in the
- 48:12waiting room. Yeah, right.
- 48:14Exactly. Then the potential evidence for
- 48:16purgatory, which is very interesting to hear.
- 48:19Some wild stories. There I love I love what doctor
- 48:21Sean Tobin has said about this. You know little devil, big God
- 48:25like at the end of the day, God is big and God is all powerful
- 48:28and he's the one who writes the story and that gives us all the
- 48:32confidence in the world. But Ryan, we, we, we went deep
- 48:35into exorcist files, which was awesome.
- 48:36And again, congratulations on all the work you're doing with
- 48:38that on your new miracle show. It's very, just really amazing
- 48:42work, not just in the creation of it and the excellence that
- 48:44you created with, but the way it's touching people.
- 48:47But you, you glossed over your story, which you got to leave us
- 48:51with about your moment for you said you were searching for
- 48:54seeing God working in the lives of your friends and you heard
- 48:57all the stories. And then you were asking God for
- 48:59it to show up in your life. And I mean, I would just argue
- 49:02that your existence alone, our existence alone is the work of
- 49:05God, right? I mean, it's just amazing that
- 49:07we're human beings, but I think you were alluding to something
- 49:10more that you experienced. Yeah, how much time do I have?
- 49:13And I'll what's when? What?
- 49:14Time do you need for for your? I'd say, I mean, I can go, I, I
- 49:18can easily go 10 more minutes if you want.
- 49:19It's up to you. I want to respect your time.
- 49:20How much time we. Have let's do 10 more minutes.
- 49:22Let's let's let's close it out with the.
- 49:24We'll build, we'll build up to something, so I know you'll
- 49:26appreciate this. So could you identify this
- 49:29object, Counselor? Looks a lot like a rosary to me.
- 49:33That's right, it is a rosary. So I get made.
- 49:35I've I've somehow managed to offend both Catholics and
- 49:39Protestants in that I'm too heretical for one.
- 49:42Actually, I'm too heretical for either one now.
- 49:43The fence sitting Ryan. It is the fence sitting and
- 49:47defensive, but fences. Are uncomfortable?
- 49:49Why? Why spend too much time on them?
- 49:51They are uncomfortable, but no, I, I bring this because it's
- 49:55just, it's a cool story and you know, people do get weirded out
- 49:58sometimes by it, But I also, I also try to, it's like, hey,
- 50:01like before the rosary, there were people at beads they would
- 50:04pray psalms on. So this is like also almost
- 50:07every religion, every major religion has some sort of
- 50:09physical object that is associated with praying.
- 50:12Well, the rosary, I mean, we had Gabby Castillo.
- 50:14I know you know him too. And he explains like, this is
- 50:16just the Bible. I mean, it's Scripture, Holy
- 50:19Scripture and then asking for prayers.
- 50:21But the vast majority of the rosary, the prayers, it's from
- 50:25the Bible. They're just Scripture verses.
- 50:26Oh. Yeah, I know.
- 50:27It's a meditation on the life of Christ, right?
- 50:29So that is one thing I'm deeply passionate about right now.
- 50:31I feel in my like spirit, as weird as that might sound to
- 50:36some, but it's just like, I just have a deep heart for unity
- 50:40right now. And again, I don't want to gloss
- 50:42over because there are significant doctrinal
- 50:43differences. And it's funny, you know, people
- 50:46will get each other's throats about certain things.
- 50:49And I'm like, look, the other day, I want us to better
- 50:51understand each other. And that's because that's been
- 50:52the hugest blessing for me for making extra files is to say,
- 50:55what did I hear like about the Catholic Church?
- 50:57And then what did I actually study?
- 50:58And then and then meeting people and like, OK, or Orthodox, I
- 51:01don't know anyone Orthodox, right?
- 51:03It's been just such a a journey and also challenging to like,
- 51:06OK, let's think through why do you believe what you believe
- 51:08just because someone told you it or like, have you thought
- 51:10through it? So I'm deeply passionate about
- 51:13truth. And I say this to everyone like
- 51:15truth wherever it leads, right? And I just got to say thank you
- 51:18for being that way because it comes out in the media you're
- 51:21creating and it's a really beautiful and I think world
- 51:25changing disposition to have. You're not Catholic, but you're
- 51:28going into spaces that are Catholic with an openness and a
- 51:31love and a respect. And then you're still able to
- 51:34see the true and sincere faith of your Protestant brothers and
- 51:36sisters. And I think that's a beautiful
- 51:39place of humility that you're coming from.
- 51:41So thank you. I will think it's it's it's an
- 51:43honor and it's been Yeah. And again, if you I because I'm
- 51:46tired of having people say this about both sides, like I'm tired
- 51:49of having, you know, my Catholic friends say, oh, this heretics,
- 51:53God help them, right? Like, are they gonna go?
- 51:55I don't know if they're gonna make it.
- 51:57And then I have Protestants. My the other, the slide that's
- 51:59like, oh, oh, no, I know some Catholics that are saved, right?
- 52:02I'm like, well, I know some Protestants that aren't saved,
- 52:04like, who knows, right? Like that's it's just the
- 52:07judgement that we pass on somebody without knowing.
- 52:10And there are little things, for example, like, like relics, for
- 52:12example, Right. Yeah, I have seen where relics
- 52:16become inadvertent objects of worship that displace the
- 52:20grander truth, right? We can get superstitious, we
- 52:23right. But I also would say, hey, look,
- 52:25it's written in Acts that they brought handkerchiefs and aprons
- 52:28and touched Paul, brought it back, healed the sick and cast
- 52:31out demons. Right.
- 52:32Now, was that prescriptive? I don't know.
- 52:34But what? But the bottom line is it's in
- 52:35the Bible, right? And the Elijah Bones story
- 52:38that's that is in Scripture. So you go, OK, and then I hear
- 52:41testimonies of this. So I tried to treat as a
- 52:43journalist, right? OK, well, I have people have
- 52:45relic stories, right? Father was on tour for a year
- 52:48and a half and I had lots of emails, people come in and
- 52:50people who shared and said I was healed.
- 52:52And I go, God works in far bigger.
- 52:54I would ask anyone of of any denomination to to expect, Hey,
- 52:57God might do something bigger than you.
- 52:59What we think, right. So my minor miracle, I'll get to
- 53:03my my minor and then my major miracle, but my minor one is I
- 53:07get, I have the privilege of going to a lot of conferences
- 53:09and media and despite having a hit show, you always, there's
- 53:11always people in the room that are just like infinitely more
- 53:14successful, bigger, like bigger platform, etcetera.
- 53:17Right? And I just was feeling really, I
- 53:19know I, yeah, sometimes I struggle with like just
- 53:21comparison issues, right. And I know like I'm the only one
- 53:25who struggles with that, right? But and so I and and that's such
- 53:29a lie too, because you're like, you are on your own journey,
- 53:32right? Everyone is their.
- 53:33Only one of you. And there's God is with you and
- 53:35he has his unique plan for you. So do do that race and forget
- 53:39what I was race, but I forget all the time that that's the
- 53:41truth. So I called my a friend of mine
- 53:44who I was at this crazy cool event and there was this like
- 53:46room full of super influential people, right?
- 53:48And I was, and then me and I had this thing, a friend of mine
- 53:53gave me a Knapp Institute. And so I put it in my pocket and
- 53:56my friend's like, dude, you should just repent.
- 53:58I was like, repent. He's like, yeah, just repent
- 54:00that you are like coveting other people's like stuff like, you
- 54:02know. What a good friend I was like
- 54:04that kind of be a straight shooter like that.
- 54:06And I was like, wow, all right, he's, he's a pastor too.
- 54:08And I was like, all right, so Zionu, I want to put this in my
- 54:10pocket because I just, you know, every now and then my hands, you
- 54:13know, put my hand in pocket Every time I touch this rosary,
- 54:16I'm going to pray God, if I'm if I'll just centre me.
- 54:20Thank you for my bean field. Thank you for this line that
- 54:23you've given me. Thank you for my area, right.
- 54:26Let me be a good steward and bless whoever I'm like.
- 54:29And if I'm envying someone, bless them.
- 54:30You pick them, right? You, you decided that you wanted
- 54:33them. Who am I to question General's?
- 54:35Orders make them even more blessed.
- 54:36That's right. Exactly.
- 54:37If you're bagging him, I need to back him because there are
- 54:39people who have a lot of clout that I'm like bless their heart,
- 54:43as we would say in the South, right.
- 54:45And so I was in the back of the room and this person having to
- 54:47be speaking and I suddenly felt that kind of well up because
- 54:53they were talking like about the most influential Christian
- 54:55media, right. And put my handball goes, Oh,
- 54:57they're. Like excessive.
- 54:58Smile, Lord, bless them. That was I was like, bless them,
- 55:01Lord, thank you. And I was just in my heart.
- 55:03I was like, no, Lord, thank you for what I have.
- 55:04I have a ministry that's like helping people, all right.
- 55:07And at that moment, one of the guys on stage stops and goes,
- 55:12you know, guys, hold on, we're talking about movies and like
- 55:15TV. We have to talk about podcasting
- 55:17if we're talking about Christian content.
- 55:19And I have to tell you, there is a show out there that has been
- 55:21the most transformative piece of Christian content I have ever
- 55:24experienced. And that is the extras files.
- 55:26And the creator is right back there in the room, right?
- 55:28So you all turn around and give him a round of applause, right?
- 55:31And that proverb instantly, like, do not seek to exalt
- 55:34yourself. Wait for the king to bring you
- 55:35up, right? And I went, it works, right?
- 55:41So beautiful. It was so beautiful.
- 55:43And just a good reminder that like, hey, wait your turn.
- 55:45God, God knows when to take you out of the shepherd's field and
- 55:48put you in the key. He knows that.
- 55:50He knows when you're ready for it too.
- 55:51It's a crime. It'd be a crime against you to
- 55:54put you in a place where you're not poised for success yet.
- 55:56And he knows you don't know. You think you're ready.
- 55:59You know, there's many things I thought I was ready for and I
- 56:01wasn't. So and then to finish.
- 56:03So that's one little story and Profa, all this is relevant
- 56:07because I'm hosting a new show called Heaven Meets Earth with
- 56:09Christian Broadcast Network. And you might have heard the 700
- 56:11Club, they've been documenting miracles for 60 years.
- 56:14It's a really cool connection actually between CBN and EWTN.
- 56:17Pat Robertson, who is the founder of CBN and his
- 56:21granddaughter Abby is who I closed with.
- 56:23Gabby after hours told me this story on the show and I didn't
- 56:26know it was such a cool thing he said.
- 56:28Did you know that Pat Robertson showed Mother Angelica the TV
- 56:31station and gave her some time and taught her a little bit
- 56:35about the business because he wanted to have Catholics on
- 56:37there, too. And she goes, how much does one
- 56:39of these cost? And he gave her a number.
- 56:41And it was then that she went home and bought a satellite.
- 56:44And all this, that famous story where she was like, in the
- 56:46Chapel praying. And it's like, all right, your
- 56:48satellite's here. I have the money for it.
- 56:50And some guys calling from the yacht saying, hey, I saw your
- 56:53pamphlets and I need that. And so it was cool to hear that
- 56:56there was this connection between these two.
- 56:58So we each week document wild stories of answered prayers,
- 57:03healings, reconciliations from just really cool Christians.
- 57:07Like police officers say, you know what, Lord, be with me on
- 57:10the beat today. Where do you want to take me?
- 57:12Right? Like, go there and then crazy
- 57:17crime gets solved. Like, what if I'm not saying
- 57:19that's prescriptive for everybody, but like, what if we
- 57:21just invite or one guy's like, hey, I asked God where I should
- 57:24go to lunch. I'm like, really?
- 57:25And he said, yeah, Chick-fil-A or Chipotle.
- 57:27Now he goes, I just go, God, like, is there someone you want
- 57:30me to meet today? I just, I throw the question out
- 57:32there. I don't wait to be divinely LED
- 57:34for each time. And then he shares a story where
- 57:36one day they didn't get an impression.
- 57:38They said, well, we're craving Thai food.
- 57:39They go to a Thai restaurant and there's a guy waiting at the
- 57:41Thai restaurant who had been praying about meeting his friend
- 57:44for weeks and felt like God was like, you need to come to this
- 57:47restaurant and he shows I was like, you walked in here and I
- 57:50had to start praying for you. And it was the wildest like
- 57:53divine appointment. So you have little things like
- 57:56that, people getting healed. But for me, what started the
- 57:59thing was I in that tough season of faith, basically was like,
- 58:02all right, Lord, I need, I need you to speak like it has to be
- 58:05because I'm, I don't feel like I hear your voice, right?
- 58:08And I know we don't live life from shouting like it needs.
- 58:11You know, there's more often it's the like Elijah, right?
- 58:13It's the still small voice, right?
- 58:15But every now and then God needs to shout sometimes, right, to
- 58:18get our attention. So I went on a hike.
- 58:20I was really praying about a big decision and it was a yes or no
- 58:23thing. And so I hiked up the top of
- 58:26this mountain and I was so sad. I've been going through a tough
- 58:29time. I literally got in the dirt,
- 58:31like on my knees and was just like kind of what Christian Bale
- 58:34from Batman on God, like, where are you?
- 58:36You know, I was just like God and they use some non Christian
- 58:39language that would be bleeped out if I said it.
- 58:41And I was like just raw though. And I think God really likes
- 58:44that when you're raw, right? You know, I mean, he's like,
- 58:47we'll, we'll talk about the reverence later.
- 58:48But like, this is a mode that I can work with this, right?
- 58:51Feel like you're distant. I feel like I don't know you.
- 58:53I feel like, you know, I just what's going on.
- 58:57I was like, fine, so I very not this is not good.
- 59:00Don't do this. But God mercifully doesn't is OK
- 59:04with this because I'm still here.
- 59:06But I said, all right, you have an hour to say yes or no, or
- 59:08then I'm just going to go do what I want, right?
- 59:10So I started walking down the mountain and this family shows
- 59:13up. I don't know where they were,
- 59:14like I did not see them hiking. And they start yelling Ryan,
- 59:19wait. Like Ryan wait.
- 59:21As I'm trying to hike down this mountain kind of going, there's
- 59:24clearly someone ahead named Ryan.
- 59:25But for the next 30 minutes, I'm like trying to pray and hear
- 59:28God's voice. And all I hear is the shouting
- 59:29Ryan Waite, Ryan Waite. So I get the bottom of the hill
- 59:32and I'm like, OK, that would be like, well, wait, wasn't one of
- 59:36the answers. It was yes or no, right?
- 59:38So I called a friend and he goes, dude, what are the odds a
- 59:41family on a mountain is yelling Ryan Waite while you're praying
- 59:44for this? And I go, I mean, it's a
- 59:46coincidence, right? You know, but you're right.
- 59:48It's probably God speaking, right.
- 59:49So for the and then the next week, I just heard the words
- 59:51wait. I turn on the radio.
- 59:53Tom Petty's the waiting would come on.
- 59:54Just all those moments where you're like, you hear the word
- 59:56wait. And I'm like, well, maybe God
- 59:58doesn't subscribe to my yes or no.
- 59:59Maybe he's like, no, wait. He wants more than an hour.
- 1:00:01Yeah. And wait also is wait's
- 1:00:03sometimes tougher because there's no clicks.
- 1:00:05Wait is like waiting also means you could be waiting on someone
- 1:00:08else. Maybe someone else is involved
- 1:00:10in the decision and he's working on them.
- 1:00:12I mean, there's a million barrels, but by it was Palm
- 1:00:15Sunday that happened. So Easter Sunday, like most
- 1:00:17miracles. Yeah, I know this is five years
- 1:00:19ago by Easter Sunday, like many miracles, they don't last.
- 1:00:24I mean, how how quickly the Israelites are like, let's go
- 1:00:27back, right? I mean, they walk through the
- 1:00:29ocean, the seas parted and they're like, let's go back to
- 1:00:31Egypt. So we've no matter how dramatic
- 1:00:34the moment and man, don't count on it forever because like we
- 1:00:38need, you know, mirror. It's a reason why we can't live
- 1:00:40miracle to miracle, right? Grateful when they happen, but
- 1:00:42they are not the anchor. That being said, I'm still
- 1:00:45talking about the story. So it has been powerful.
- 1:00:47So that Sunday I was like, you know, that was a coincidence.
- 1:00:50That's all that was. I just like whatever, right?
- 1:00:52So I said, God, you need to have someone call me and tell me that
- 1:00:55was a coincidence or else I'm not going to believe it again.
- 1:01:00Forgive me. Lord, that wasn't a coincidence.
- 1:01:02Yeah, that was you? Yeah, and so that I was writing
- 1:01:05out my prayer journal and then I hear A and I was like, oh, it's
- 1:01:08my phone. And I turn it off because, you
- 1:01:10know, no phone during prayer journal, open it up.
- 1:01:12And this guy in Nashville who I'd met once had texted me and
- 1:01:17he didn't know anything. I hadn't talked to him in
- 1:01:20months, you know, And he goes, hey, dude, it's praying for you
- 1:01:23this morning and felt like God had said that something happened
- 1:01:26to you like in the wilderness or something, and he wants you to
- 1:01:29know it was him and not a coincidence.
- 1:01:32And I went well I said phone call but.
- 1:01:36And like I, I guess I'm waiting. And so I did and I waited and
- 1:01:40longer story it was, it turned into a really cool season where
- 1:01:43I just started collecting incredible stories.
- 1:01:46And it's such an honor to be able to tell them now.
- 1:01:49And I want to be very clear, like, because when you tell
- 1:01:52these miracle stories, right, we all know people who've lost
- 1:01:55loved ones, like who their prayer.
- 1:01:57I have prayed people into the ground, right?
- 1:02:01And I've had people, you know, a friend with brain cancer and
- 1:02:03prayed and he died also prayed for people with back pain and it
- 1:02:07gets instantly healed and you go, I don't know God, right?
- 1:02:11But it is important to know that God is doing cool things today
- 1:02:15and I am seeing it. It's not in the timing always I
- 1:02:19want I wish I could have a formula for it right.
- 1:02:22Everyone wants to figure out the proprietary.
- 1:02:23I will say a lot of people say they fast and pray and I one
- 1:02:26thing that came out with every interview we've done on this
- 1:02:28miracle series is the private time.
- 1:02:31All of these folks are like, it was privately me with the Lord
- 1:02:35preparing in private for anything I wanted him to do
- 1:02:38publicly. And it was, it's been really
- 1:02:41inspiring. But I just want to encourage
- 1:02:43anyone out there that like, if you think you got spiritual
- 1:02:45affliction, like go talk to someone, right?
- 1:02:47You know, interesting. Like, so do you know why most of
- 1:02:49the exorcism cases we have are female?
- 1:02:53Why? Because they ask for help.
- 1:02:55Guys ask for help, right? You know, guys probably get
- 1:02:58possessed more. But like fathers, like, you
- 1:03:00know, it's, it's like, yeah, why are there so many cases?
- 1:03:02Because they're the ones who are willing to say, you know, I
- 1:03:04think I have a problem. We live a case where a guy's
- 1:03:06ignoring it, you know, And so, but if you have a, if you think
- 1:03:09of a spiritual, maybe it could be spiritual, right?
- 1:03:11Ask for help, get prayer. If you need a healing, go for
- 1:03:14it. Be OK, like, right, it may not
- 1:03:16happen, but it might. And to live in that tension is
- 1:03:20really difficult. But they're just ordinary people
- 1:03:24who are super smart and are just walking with God and he is doing
- 1:03:28cool things today. And that's been really
- 1:03:30encouraging. And so I want to encourage
- 1:03:32people, don't let the the naturalistic, you know, only
- 1:03:36science driven narrative say that, you know, miracles aren't
- 1:03:39happening today because there are inexplicable things
- 1:03:42happening. People who were married and had
- 1:03:45affairs and divorced and then get back together and
- 1:03:48reconciled. I mean, there's just there's
- 1:03:50cool stuff happening. And so let's just be optimistic
- 1:03:52and upbeat and go for it. Amazing.
- 1:03:56Thank you. Ryan, where can people find your
- 1:03:58work? Oh, man.
- 1:03:59So you can go to exorcistfiles.tv if you want to
- 1:04:04start that journey. You can also go to
- 1:04:06heavenmeetsearth.com and listen to both sides.
- 1:04:10So listen to X-Files in the morning and then Miracles in the
- 1:04:13evening. I do have many people say, Hey,
- 1:04:15I listen to X-Files at night and you know, they have their
- 1:04:18headphones in and they're by themselves.
- 1:04:19I was listening to an episode last night that I had to proof
- 1:04:22and I was doing the dishes and I was home alone and like, I just
- 1:04:25like hear this. And oh, that's the, that's the
- 1:04:27audio. Not someone's not in my house
- 1:04:29right now. It's it's pretty cool.
- 1:04:31So thank you for having me though.
- 1:04:32And. God bless you.
- 1:04:34This is awesome. God bless you.
