- 0:00Speaker 1: Today's show is pre recorded, y'all know what time. I
- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know, y'all giving them like the million buck things
- 0:17Speaker 1: in it. Not Steve listening to Steve, I don't join me.
- 0:58Speaker 1: You gotta do that turn. You got to turn to
- 1:41Speaker 1: turn them out, turn, got to turn them out to
- 1:46Speaker 1: the water, the water. Come come on your thing, huh,
- 2:02Speaker 1: I show will a good morning everybody. Y'all listening to
- 2:06Speaker 1: the voice, I come on digging. Nah wanted only Steve
- 2:10Speaker 1: Harvey got a radio show. I gotta tweet the other day.
- 2:16Speaker 1: When Steve Harvey used to get the preaching, I used
- 2:18Speaker 1: to just turn the radio off. Mana's different, old dude
- 2:24Speaker 1: be bringing it. He'd be bringing the truth. I appreciate that,
- 2:30Speaker 1: you know. Man, When I was younger, Man, when I
- 2:32Speaker 1: when I wanted to do what I wanted to do, Man,
- 2:34Speaker 1: I just man, I didn't want to hear nothing else.
- 2:36Speaker 1: I didn't want to hear nothing that contradicted what I
- 2:39Speaker 1: wanted to do. You know. So it's a funny thing
- 2:43Speaker 1: man about me. Man I was I would hear the truth,
- 2:46Speaker 1: I would know it to be the truth. But because
- 2:48Speaker 1: I had another plan, another mission, another goal, another set
- 2:52Speaker 1: of dudes. I wanted to get done. I didn't want
- 2:55Speaker 1: to hear that. You know, it's a funny thing, man,
- 2:58Speaker 1: It's like it's like when I was a little boy
- 3:00Speaker 1: and I used to get scared sometime at night, you know,
- 3:03Speaker 1: the booger man. So I thought that if I just
- 3:05Speaker 1: pulled the blanket up over my head, that that meant
- 3:09Speaker 1: that if I can't see the booger man, he can't
- 3:11Speaker 1: see me. That's the theory. That's an ostrich, you know,
- 3:17Speaker 1: just sticking his head in the sand, thinking wow, if
- 3:19Speaker 1: I don't see this dude, he can't see me. A
- 3:22Speaker 1: lot of ostriches didn't die with their head stuck in
- 3:24Speaker 1: the sand. I just didn't want to be one of
- 3:27Speaker 1: the people that left this world with my head in
- 3:29Speaker 1: the sand. But I just wanted to say, man, this morning,
- 3:34Speaker 1: that quit talking about change. Y'all listening, because because because
- 3:44Speaker 1: this is real right here, quick talking about change, and
- 3:49Speaker 1: let's make a change. You know, man, I don't I
- 3:53Speaker 1: don't mind giving people advice. I really, I really really don't,
- 3:56Speaker 1: because so many people along the way have handed it
- 3:59Speaker 1: to me freely. Man. Some people just saw me doing
- 4:03Speaker 1: wrong and say, young man, come in, let me talk
- 4:04Speaker 1: to you. For a minute. Some people say, hey, bro,
- 4:07Speaker 1: look man, I know what you're trying to do it. Man,
- 4:09Speaker 1: when have you thought about it this way? So I've
- 4:13Speaker 1: had a lot of favor in my life, a lot
- 4:15Speaker 1: of grace been shown on me, a lot of mercy,
- 4:18Speaker 1: A lot of people and came to me, helped me
- 4:20Speaker 1: a long way. So I don't have no problem with
- 4:22Speaker 1: this part of what I'm what I'm obligated to do
- 4:24Speaker 1: in the mornings. But let's quit talking about change, y'all,
- 4:28Speaker 1: and let's make a change. She changed its growth, and
- 4:32Speaker 1: it ain't no growth without change. You got people. Man,
- 4:36Speaker 1: You ever met a person that's just insistent on doing
- 4:39Speaker 1: it they way? I mean, no body in the building
- 4:43Speaker 1: think they should go that way, but they're so bone headed.
- 4:48Speaker 1: Oh this is how I'm gonna do it. But bro,
- 4:50Speaker 1: listen to me. Man, that ain't highs done. You're gonna
- 4:53Speaker 1: run into this distance. I'll show you. Hey a minute, man,
- 4:58Speaker 1: you can't do it that way. Man, If you are
- 5:01Speaker 1: sick and tired of where you are, then you have
- 5:03Speaker 1: to change. Change can only come from within. Can nobody
- 5:08Speaker 1: make you change? Now, we got a penal system in
- 5:11Speaker 1: place that can make you sit down if you don't
- 5:14Speaker 1: want to change, We'll sit you down and we'll restrict
- 5:18Speaker 1: your movement and your communication to the point where if
- 5:21Speaker 1: you want to continue this foolishness, we're gonna put you
- 5:24Speaker 1: in this building with a whole lot of people. That's foolishness,
- 5:27Speaker 1: and y'all just trick each other all day long. But
- 5:30Speaker 1: if you are sick and tired of your situation, pray
- 5:34Speaker 1: for it. Pray for change, Ask God to help you change.
- 5:39Speaker 1: Ask God what he wants for you instead of always
- 5:42Speaker 1: telling God what you want. It's an interesting prayer to
- 5:46Speaker 1: have with God. When you quit going to God with
- 5:49Speaker 1: your list and check in with God and see what
- 5:53Speaker 1: his list is. That's a very interesting prayer. If you're
- 5:57Speaker 1: a praying person, I suggest you try that sometime. It's
- 6:00Speaker 1: so interesting. Man, do you know what it did for
- 6:03Speaker 1: me when I started asking God what he wanted for me?
- 6:06Speaker 1: Instead of telling God all the time. I still tell
- 6:08Speaker 1: him what I want, but instead of all the time
- 6:11Speaker 1: going to Him with what I want. You know what
- 6:13Speaker 1: it did for me? It freed me up. It took
- 6:16Speaker 1: a lot of pressure off. I no longer had to
- 6:18Speaker 1: think of everything and what I was thinking of a
- 6:21Speaker 1: lot of times wasn't work in no way. And when
- 6:24Speaker 1: I opened myself up to what he wanted to what
- 6:27Speaker 1: his wheel was. Man, do you know how much simpler
- 6:30Speaker 1: my life got? And do you know how much bigger
- 6:32Speaker 1: it got? I'm trying to tell you, man, if you
- 6:35Speaker 1: pray for change and you allow God to help you
- 6:37Speaker 1: with the change, or if you let God just produce
- 6:40Speaker 1: the change, the changing, you would be amazing. If you've
- 6:44Speaker 1: been listening to me, especially out in La since I
- 6:47Speaker 1: was on the radio since two thousand, can't you here
- 6:50Speaker 1: to change? I'm flat out telling you that a change
- 6:55Speaker 1: has come. But I had to pray for the change
- 6:58Speaker 1: because I couldn't make the change on my own. And
- 7:01Speaker 1: then after you pray for the change, you got to
- 7:03Speaker 1: work towards your trade change. You know it as a
- 7:06Speaker 1: faith without works is dead. Everybody wants something from God,
- 7:10Speaker 1: always want to talk to God about something. But then man,
- 7:13Speaker 1: ain't ain't, don't, don't want to do nothing about it.
- 7:17Speaker 1: Faith without works is dead. You can't do it that way, man,
- 7:21Speaker 1: It just does not happen. So so after you didn't
- 7:24Speaker 1: pray to God about it, what you gotta do then
- 7:27Speaker 1: is you gotta turn around and go hey, man, right now.
- 7:30Speaker 1: What is it I got to do? You know, you
- 7:33Speaker 1: got to do something to bring it about. So after
- 7:37Speaker 1: you pray for it, work for it, and do something
- 7:40Speaker 1: today about it. Stop procrastinating. Don't procrastinate, folks. The change
- 7:46Speaker 1: can start today. Man, I want to change. How about today?
- 7:51Speaker 1: You know? Then you see them saying people, Man, I
- 7:53Speaker 1: want to change. That's next week. How about today? I
- 7:57Speaker 1: see people years later, Man, I'm still in the same
- 8:00Speaker 1: old situation. Man, I'm gonna do something. How about today?
- 8:04Speaker 1: Today is a good day. There's nothing stopping you from
- 8:08Speaker 1: changing today, nothing except you. You can begin the process
- 8:13Speaker 1: of change immediately and change its growth, y'all. And ain't
- 8:17Speaker 1: no growth without changing. It's a simple thing. And I'm
- 8:21Speaker 1: talking to you in broad strokes because everybody got something
- 8:24Speaker 1: about them they need to change. That's why I'm not
- 8:26Speaker 1: specifically talking about anything. I got some things in me
- 8:31Speaker 1: didn't need to change so I can grow further. Everybody
- 8:35Speaker 1: has something about them that they need to change in
- 8:39Speaker 1: order to grow further and then go further. Now, what's
- 8:43Speaker 1: stopping you is you won't start the change today. Don't hesitate,
- 8:47Speaker 1: make that change, and then I want you to watch something.
- 8:51Speaker 1: When you change watch the difference in you. Notice the
- 8:54Speaker 1: difference in you, feel the difference in you, and guess
- 8:58Speaker 1: what you're gonna be different. If you're watching for the change,
- 9:02Speaker 1: if you're feeling the change, then guess what you're gonna
- 9:05Speaker 1: be different. Man, Watch for the difference, feel the difference.
- 9:09Speaker 1: You will be different. If you're sick and tired of
- 9:11Speaker 1: your situation, folks, you can change that. But the change
- 9:15Speaker 1: is in you. It's a simple decision you how to make.
- 9:18Speaker 1: I'm gonna change. The change is up to you. You
- 9:21Speaker 1: can decide to day if you want to change, you
- 9:24Speaker 1: want to be different. If you're sitting behind the wall,
- 9:27Speaker 1: I love speaking to the brothers and sisters behind the wall.
- 9:29Speaker 1: If you're behind the wall, man, and you're sick and
- 9:31Speaker 1: tired of being behind the wall, man, why don't you change?
- 9:34Speaker 1: You've thought about that change? Man. If I get back
- 9:37Speaker 1: out there, I'm gonna just do the same thing. Stop
- 9:39Speaker 1: saying that. Stop breathing that negativity into your life. Decide
- 9:43Speaker 1: today that you want to change. You can do it.
- 9:45Speaker 1: Everybody can change. If you don't know how to change,
- 9:48Speaker 1: pray for it, man, ask God to help you with
- 9:51Speaker 1: the change. Or you get some movement, then partner. You
- 9:54Speaker 1: get a whole lot of movement. Then all right, let's right,
- 9:57Speaker 1: you're listening, ladies and gentlemen. It's right here, it's right now.
- 10:04Speaker 1: It's upon us. It's called the present. Why do they
- 10:07Speaker 1: call it a present because it's a gift. It's a
- 10:11Speaker 1: gift from God to be able to say you are
- 10:14Speaker 1: here now. History belongs to the past, the future belongs
- 10:18Speaker 1: to God. But to us. He gives us this wonderful gift,
- 10:23Speaker 1: and he calls it a present. And that's why they
- 10:26Speaker 1: call it the present. You're living in it. Now, that's
- 10:29Speaker 1: a gift, y'all. You better recognize. Come on now, give
- 10:32Speaker 1: God some glory today. Tell him, thank you, tell him
- 10:35Speaker 1: how much you appreciate him, Thank you for the small things.
- 10:38Speaker 1: You know. He just did that to me recently. I
- 10:41Speaker 1: was so busy working on some projects and things that
- 10:44Speaker 1: I was just talking to him about it. And then
- 10:47Speaker 1: you know, he just didn't let him come to pass.
- 10:50Speaker 1: And I was really pressing him in prayer about it,
- 10:53Speaker 1: and he said, you know what, I'm gonna show you something.
- 10:56Speaker 1: So he made me sit down and come home and
- 11:00Speaker 1: he said, I'm gonna show you something. I want you
- 11:02Speaker 1: to see. All that I've done. I came home and
- 11:07Speaker 1: for the past few months I've been realizing and looking
- 11:10Speaker 1: at what all God has done. And you know what,
- 11:13Speaker 1: I came to the conclusion, I'm good, Thank you Lord,
- 11:17Speaker 1: My bad. I was tripping. Give it up. You understand
- 11:21Speaker 1: Charley Strawberry calling for real. The mouth of the South,
- 11:24Speaker 1: Junior boy government name Kill Spraight, and the legend that
- 11:28Speaker 1: is nephew Timy Junior. Yes, a lot going on, man,
- 11:31Speaker 1: what is Yeah? Yeah, I'm gonna tell you what I'm
- 11:34Speaker 1: doing to day. I just want you to know the
- 11:35Speaker 1: team and I come out and be different tomorrow when
- 11:37Speaker 1: I come back to work. But I'm going to the
- 11:39Speaker 1: doctor to day and I'm going to get my foot
- 11:41Speaker 1: cut off because whoever said put your foot down, whoever
- 11:47Speaker 1: said that clearly didn't have no feet. Come to you
- 11:50Speaker 1: right now, she's I put my foot down, and damn it,
- 11:54Speaker 1: she don't even do whatever I asked us. I'm going
- 11:56Speaker 1: to the doctor and get Oh yeah, yeah, I'm gonna
- 12:00Speaker 1: get my foot. Come on, I'm coming back with one
- 12:02Speaker 1: foot because who ever said, yeah, put your foot down
- 12:06Speaker 1: and they gonna listen. No, she don't because I said, clearly,
- 12:09Speaker 1: don't buy nothing this weekend, we try to buy a house.
- 12:12Speaker 1: Don't buy nothing. I came back and here everything was
- 12:14Speaker 1: in the epizone. Been here three times, and one day
- 12:16Speaker 1: I knew, damn well, I said that. I said, I'm
- 12:19Speaker 1: gonna put my foot down, went right over. I don't
- 12:22Speaker 1: need this foot This foot is useless. I don't care.
- 12:25Speaker 1: I'm not I don't even want the footing on, mom,
- 12:27Speaker 1: I don't want it. Yeah, I came back. It was
- 12:29Speaker 1: Target bag, Walmart bags, it was, it was Ross, it was,
- 12:33Speaker 1: it was it was naming Marcus bags. And I said, clearly,
- 12:36Speaker 1: don't buy nothing. But now that's what I said. I said,
- 12:40Speaker 1: I'm gonna put my foot down, and I mean that,
- 12:42Speaker 1: put that foot down. Cut this off, this use this
- 12:45Speaker 1: is waste of time. I don't even want that footing
- 12:46Speaker 1: on Mota. Who said up? Who whoever said put your
- 12:51Speaker 1: foot down? Clearly was sitting in a wheelchair. They ain't hand,
- 12:54Speaker 1: no feet, they weren't standing. Ain't a where in the world.
- 12:57Speaker 1: You're gonna tell me to put my foot down, and
- 12:59Speaker 1: then when I put foot down, you run over. This
- 13:01Speaker 1: is what they're gonna do. Yeah, hey, now I don't
- 13:05Speaker 1: know what to tell you. Did you put your foot
- 13:07Speaker 1: down before, oh a whole lot of times. But don't
- 13:10Speaker 1: go down there and get it cut off, because you
- 13:11Speaker 1: might have to go to the stove telling you that
- 13:18Speaker 1: what I don't even want to you know, you know,
- 13:20Speaker 1: just a little supple stuff. I ain't saying that. You know,
- 13:23Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you you cut your foot off, Junior,
- 13:24Speaker 1: riding a bike gonna be real hard. You definitely won't
- 13:31Speaker 1: be going uphill all right. Coming up in thirty two
- 13:37Speaker 1: minutes after the hour, we'll hear from the nephew if
- 13:40Speaker 1: he runs that prank back right after this you're listening show,
- 13:47Speaker 1: it is time now to run that prank back with
- 13:49Speaker 1: the nephew. What you got forth? Snaw this right here,
- 13:52Speaker 1: Shirley is pecan tree. Pecan tree. If my granddad was here,
- 13:57Speaker 1: be pekan pecan tree right here, it's become pecan tree.
- 14:03Speaker 1: Come on, hello, Hello, I'm trying to reach elc Hey.
- 14:09Speaker 1: My name is Marcus. My mama and them little next
- 14:12Speaker 1: dough to you, mister and missus my mom and daddy
- 14:16Speaker 1: little next dough to you. And I was calling because
- 14:19Speaker 1: y'all got a pecan try in y'all backyard, I mean
- 14:22Speaker 1: right on the fence line. And to keep you know,
- 14:25Speaker 1: pecan and stuff keep falling over into my mam and
- 14:28Speaker 1: them yard. So I tall to see if y'all can
- 14:31Speaker 1: do something man, where y'all can pick up I mean,
- 14:34Speaker 1: my mama and them got a little older. You know,
- 14:36Speaker 1: we've been picking them up for a long time. But
- 14:38Speaker 1: I need somebody to, like, maybe you can cut the
- 14:41Speaker 1: limbs back that's hanging over so that they won't you know,
- 14:44Speaker 1: the pecans won't be falling over into my mam and
- 14:47Speaker 1: them yard because you know, for them to be bending
- 14:49Speaker 1: over like they're picking up them pecan and it's a
- 14:51Speaker 1: lot of them. So you know, mister, I just wanted
- 14:54Speaker 1: to haul at you and see if you don't mind
- 14:56Speaker 1: maybe cutting the limbs back, because even when we turned
- 14:59Speaker 1: the lamo on it, stuff, man, it just, you know,
- 15:01Speaker 1: the pecans and stuff be coming out of the lamo
- 15:04Speaker 1: just shooting all over the place. Well, first of all,
- 15:07Speaker 1: my vacorn tree. There's an old corn tree and all
- 15:11Speaker 1: its spout well, and I can't see me cutting it.
- 15:15Speaker 1: So you can't have no body to maintain your yard.
- 15:19Speaker 1: But I mean you it's your mother. You can maintain
- 15:22Speaker 1: your mother's yard, sir. I go by my mother's house,
- 15:25Speaker 1: you know, every other day and check on them. But
- 15:28Speaker 1: I don't have time to go in the back and
- 15:29Speaker 1: pick up pecans and stuff. You know what I'm saying.
- 15:32Speaker 1: I mean, if you just it don't seem no more
- 15:34Speaker 1: than like maybe four or five limbs that's hanging over there.
- 15:37Speaker 1: But then four or five limbs, I mean they they
- 15:39Speaker 1: there's a lot of pecans falling off of that. So
- 15:42Speaker 1: if you, lady mavacorn tree is shady, I go back there.
- 15:46Speaker 1: There's no kind of nothing back the okay whatever, sir.
- 15:52Speaker 1: I'm not cutting my tree for a little like that. Sir. Listen,
- 15:55Speaker 1: what I'm what I'm trying to get you to do
- 15:57Speaker 1: is I'm not I want you cutting your entire tree down.
- 15:59Speaker 1: I just want you to cut a few limbs, sir,
- 16:01Speaker 1: so you know those that way that those are the
- 16:04Speaker 1: ones that are hanging over it won't be you know,
- 16:06Speaker 1: the pecans won't be falling over into my mom's and
- 16:08Speaker 1: them yard and and and you know, like I say,
- 16:10Speaker 1: they're older now, man, they can't be bending over like that.
- 16:13Speaker 1: So you know, I'm I'm just coming to you as
- 16:16Speaker 1: a man right now and asking you when you please
- 16:18Speaker 1: cut this down. So these pecans and quit falling over
- 16:20Speaker 1: my mom and them yard. Almost all you can do
- 16:23Speaker 1: is hard someone someone I know your mother, don't cut
- 16:27Speaker 1: your yard. It's it's a guy that it's a guy
- 16:30Speaker 1: that cuts the yard. But even when he cutting the yard,
- 16:33Speaker 1: these pecans is flying out from underneath the yard. The
- 16:36Speaker 1: law more they soon or later we're gonna be breaking
- 16:38Speaker 1: windows over there. What kind of lord person you have
- 16:42Speaker 1: that don't pick up before they cut? That's food? Why
- 16:45Speaker 1: am I arguing with you about picking up stuff and
- 16:47Speaker 1: all of this? I'm asking you to cut a funky
- 16:49Speaker 1: little five limbs so these dog gonna pecans they are
- 16:52Speaker 1: falling over my mama yard. You want to cut, you're
- 16:56Speaker 1: gonna make me come over here and cut the old
- 16:58Speaker 1: I would come cut the whole day the tree down.
- 17:01Speaker 1: You ain't gonna put my tree. I grew that tree
- 17:04Speaker 1: from when I was the kids, and that tree gonna
- 17:06Speaker 1: stay now. You're long as I stayed though, sir, Look,
- 17:09Speaker 1: I didn't ask you like a man to cut your
- 17:11Speaker 1: little funk it for corn tree down? Now. I ain't
- 17:14Speaker 1: in the hat. No what you know what guess what
- 17:17Speaker 1: you you you bad know you can't cut it. I've
- 17:20Speaker 1: been look sir, tonight today, ruther this evening. It's either
- 17:26Speaker 1: gonna be twothin happening. Either you're gonna cut the fire
- 17:29Speaker 1: limbs that I won't cut off in the cut, cut
- 17:31Speaker 1: the whole damn for corn tree down. That's my tree
- 17:34Speaker 1: in any game, nobody's gonna with my tree. I'm here
- 17:37Speaker 1: right now. I'm you're not hearing the yard right now.
- 17:39Speaker 1: Come on, it's you over there right now, right now.
- 17:42Speaker 1: I will bring my right on back. You know what
- 17:45Speaker 1: I'm to get my numb in the way. Got your mother?
- 17:49Speaker 1: I got it because it's the save is one that
- 17:51Speaker 1: dress left in my mama's. You're gonna cut this damn
- 17:54Speaker 1: tree down. I wentn't on the but anyway, man, I
- 17:57Speaker 1: ain't using my creature setting in a long talk any wait.
- 18:00Speaker 1: I've been waiting on them like you. You didn't lost
- 18:03Speaker 1: your damn mine. You live, young, punk. I told you
- 18:06Speaker 1: once and I told you twice. I'm on you, young,
- 18:11Speaker 1: don't do that. See that's what's right. You know what
- 18:15Speaker 1: you can do? Tell your mom to make up a
- 18:16Speaker 1: corn pie. What you say by my mom, Tell her
- 18:20Speaker 1: to make a corn pie and come for me. Chip.

- 19:35Speaker 1: you at your mama house. This is nephew tim Me

- 19:47Speaker 1: I'm gonna put my seat. Man, I'm gonna. I'm gonna,

- 20:17Speaker 1: I've been calling my grand in school. Listen, man, I
- 20:24Speaker 1: got one more question for you. Tell me what is
- 20:26Speaker 1: the baddest radio station in the land? LC It's Pecan.
- 20:36Speaker 1: I'm jumping in time for the thank you coming up next,
- 20:44Speaker 1: It is asked the CLO. With our Chief Love Officer
- 20:47Speaker 1: Steve Harvey in the building, you're listening to the same
- 20:50Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show coming up at the top of the
- 20:54Speaker 1: hour and the entertainment news. Well, we all watched Tommy's
- 20:58Speaker 1: movie Pride A seven. We send story on Saturday night,
- 21:02Speaker 1: Yes we did. We'll talk about it. We'll talk about it.
- 21:06Speaker 1: A movie star in our midst plus in sports entertainment news,
- 21:10Speaker 1: Let's use women's basketball team will visit the White House
- 21:14Speaker 1: after all? And Hulu is releasing a documentary on Freakneek.
- 21:19Speaker 1: And finally, Tommy, this is for you. Hallie Barry drank
- 21:23Speaker 1: wine on her balcony. Okay, nothing, that's normal. People, do it?
- 21:28Speaker 1: Finish it? Come on? What else? She was naked? Yes, bitch,
- 21:37Speaker 1: we'll talk about it. We'll talk about it at the
- 21:43Speaker 1: top of the hour. Right now, it is time to
- 21:46Speaker 1: ask the clo all right. Jerome in Tampa writes that
- 21:52Speaker 1: my wife is thinks it's cute to let our five
- 21:55Speaker 1: year old daughter take my money and put it in
- 21:57Speaker 1: her piggy bank. I empty my pockets and I get
- 22:00Speaker 1: home and my dollars in change are gone as soon
- 22:03Speaker 1: as I walk away. Is she teaching our daughter a
- 22:05Speaker 1: bad habit? Well anyway, brou come on, you got a
- 22:12Speaker 1: wife and a daughter. You ain't seen this happen before.
- 22:16Speaker 1: But I don't even know what you're driving on. You
- 22:21Speaker 1: know her daughter. Why don't you do this, bro? Why
- 22:26Speaker 1: don't you take it? Make it a teaching lesson? You
- 22:29Speaker 1: just bring your change home and give it to your
- 22:32Speaker 1: daughter and teach her how to save. Stop acting like
- 22:35Speaker 1: she's still it. You know. Now you could look at
- 22:38Speaker 1: it like that, but you know, go in there and
- 22:40Speaker 1: get your daddy's change and put that in your purse.
- 22:43Speaker 1: You know, put that in your piggy thing. You know,
- 22:46Speaker 1: your daughter, it's your daughter's not really equating that to
- 22:49Speaker 1: still it because I'm pretty sure her mamma tells it
- 22:51Speaker 1: to go in there and do it. So, you know,
- 22:54Speaker 1: why don't you get involved in making a learning teaching moment.
- 22:58Speaker 1: This is why let's go to the next question. I
- 23:00Speaker 1: don't care your baby girl only put funny in her back.
- 23:07Speaker 1: That's your problem. Next question, sure, Brooklyn Moving on fun in,
- 23:13Speaker 1: Brooklyn says, my husband had an old cup coffee cup
- 23:18Speaker 1: in his car, and he doesn't drink coffee. So I
- 23:21Speaker 1: got his keys and I examined the cup. It had
- 23:24Speaker 1: greasy lip marks on the ram of the cup, like
- 23:26Speaker 1: clear lip glass. He said it was his chapstick. Does
- 23:29Speaker 1: this sound odd to you? It's probably a chap stick. No,
- 23:35Speaker 1: don't even try. Yeah, we had to go with chapstick.
- 23:40Speaker 1: He doesn't even drink coffee. Get out of here, tea, tea, milk, coffee,
- 23:47Speaker 1: two different things. Coffee mug had more than coffee in it,
- 23:53Speaker 1: and clear lip glass and chapstick, two different things. He
- 23:57Speaker 1: went for me, and we put on chapstick to keep
- 23:59Speaker 1: out a little all the time. I put chapstick on
- 24:02Speaker 1: every lip gloss. Lip gloss is picker and it's thicker. Well, yeah,
- 24:13Speaker 1: it ain't picking and chapstick. I'm talking about the brand chapstick.
- 24:16Speaker 1: And it's not shiny. Chapstick is not shiny. How do
- 24:20Speaker 1: you leave it on that for a while. It's not
- 24:23Speaker 1: what we're gonna do this with, y'all. That's not what
- 24:25Speaker 1: you're gonna do. It's probably bacon grease that I may
- 24:28Speaker 1: probably have breakfast. That's probably bacon's grease. She's said lip bloss.
- 24:32Speaker 1: She's a woman, she knows, she knows what chapstick though,
- 24:35Speaker 1: I'm talking about the brand chapstick, a little cheap thing.
- 24:38Speaker 1: Chapstick does what abound odd to you? No, not to me, well,
- 24:46Speaker 1: to me at all, all right, and to every other
- 24:49Speaker 1: woman out there it does all right? Moving on, since
- 24:52Speaker 1: we won't get a straight answer, truthful answer. A woman
- 25:00Speaker 1: had her coffee cup in his car, that's all all right,
- 25:04Speaker 1: And he's stupid for not taking it out, Sandra and
- 25:06Speaker 1: Wilmington says. Sandra and Wilmington says, my husband and I
- 25:11Speaker 1: went to see a marriage counselor and he told the
- 25:13Speaker 1: counselor that I'm a lazy lover and he's tired of
- 25:16Speaker 1: having sex with me. I feel like I've overstayed my
- 25:19Speaker 1: welcome in our marriage and I'm done with counseling. What
- 25:22Speaker 1: do you think, because see that lazy love akind of
- 25:28Speaker 1: messed you up. You know what that means? You just
- 25:31Speaker 1: laying now. That's all that means. You just laying now.
- 25:38Speaker 1: And she's not changing. Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. She
- 25:42Speaker 1: she's an over state. Oh yeah, she found out she
- 25:45Speaker 1: was a lazy lover. It is reflective in your love making.
- 25:47Speaker 1: You just laying there. I'll take my lady where else.
- 25:51Speaker 1: It's all you just laying there. He ready for you
- 25:55Speaker 1: to go. Ye wait, Stevie, what he given it his all?
- 26:00Speaker 1: He just in the shrine everything. He lifting your leg up.
- 26:04Speaker 1: You ain't helping him. He got dead weight. He tried
- 26:08Speaker 1: to pick the leg up. You just laid little, this
- 26:13Speaker 1: hardholding leg up. You ain't participating because he's saying stuff
- 26:19Speaker 1: like baby, ba ba baby, could you bend your knee,
- 26:22Speaker 1: just being your knee. Wrap your legs round up. He
- 26:28Speaker 1: trying to wrap the leg round his back with his hand.
- 26:32Speaker 1: He ain't getting no damn hill. He didn't here trying
- 26:36Speaker 1: to make the bed move all by his set. Yeah.
- 26:46Speaker 1: He trying to pull the sheets up himself on the corner.
- 26:49Speaker 1: He trying to turn the corner to fit the sheet
- 26:51Speaker 1: off the bed hisself, trying to make it look like
- 26:53Speaker 1: there was some action going on in Yeah, he's exhausted
- 26:59Speaker 1: lifting your head. Man's up here. Size is not to
- 27:04Speaker 1: talk about side. Yeah, I mean you know, but it
- 27:06Speaker 1: is heavy. If you did, wait, if you did, that's true. Yeah,
- 27:09Speaker 1: that's true. Told the counselor. That's when you on, when
- 27:15Speaker 1: you tell the councilor hey baby, hey baby, hey baby,
- 27:19Speaker 1: hey baby, tonight, sit up on the seat, Put me
- 27:22Speaker 1: up on this. She's like, you put me on the seat, okay,
- 27:30Speaker 1: baby on three? When I say three chumps, look, come
- 27:34Speaker 1: on baby, just ump. You ain't gonna jump a little bit. No,
- 27:41Speaker 1: put me on the seat. Oh man, this ain't no
- 27:46Speaker 1: good right here. Lazy, she's overstayed her welcome all right.
- 27:52Speaker 1: Last one Steed Dana and Dana and Charleston says, I'm
- 27:58Speaker 1: in a dance competition and my partner and I slipped
- 28:02Speaker 1: up and had sex. So now he thinks that I
- 28:05Speaker 1: like him and we can hang out more. I don't
- 28:08Speaker 1: want him in any way, So is it best to
- 28:10Speaker 1: tell him that I made a big mistake and that
- 28:12Speaker 1: I'm not interested in him? Well to handle this? How
- 28:17Speaker 1: did you slip up during the tango? I'm just trying
- 28:22Speaker 1: to figure out how you slip You don't want him
- 28:25Speaker 1: in any way? How did you slip up? See, that's
- 28:28Speaker 1: just a lot too much got to happen. Pow you
- 28:32Speaker 1: slip up. First of all, you got to go somewhere.
- 28:35Speaker 1: That's a slip up. Then you got to sit on
- 28:37Speaker 1: the edge of the bed. That's a slip up. Then
- 28:40Speaker 1: you gotta take your clothes off. That's a slip off.
- 28:44Speaker 1: You don't our way to it, then you gotta Then
- 28:46Speaker 1: you gotta do something that ain't lazy. You already in
- 28:49Speaker 1: here dancing. Now you got your leg and go. That's
- 28:52Speaker 1: slipped up. Now y'all in there just doing the tangle.
- 28:57Speaker 1: But the tangle that got tang gold entangled up lady
- 29:03Speaker 1: miss me, all right, thank you? Cielo coming up at
- 29:07Speaker 1: the top of the hour, we have some entertainment news

- 29:41Speaker 1: those you one of those stars that can't watch themselves

- 29:48Speaker 1: That's all. I wanted to make sure that we started washing.

- 30:38Speaker 1: And I'm taking any more jobs if they got him
- 30:40Speaker 1: out there, put that any mold job possibility. Samuel Jackson.
- 30:45Speaker 1: I love him just walking from the side of you.

- 31:00Speaker 1: and other entertainment news. Tommy, sit down, I see you
- 31:03Speaker 1: standing up now, you need to sit down for this story.
- 31:06Speaker 1: Actress Hallie Barry says she do she does as she pleases.
- 31:11Speaker 1: She does whatever she wants to do, okay. On Instagram Saturday,
- 31:15Speaker 1: Hallie posted a picture of herself posing while drinking. She
- 31:20Speaker 1: was on her patio. She was on her balcony. She
- 31:22Speaker 1: was drinking a glass of red wine. She posted the picture.
- 31:26Speaker 1: She was she was naked. What didn't have a stitch
- 31:29Speaker 1: on this? Bowser have come before, Pride this first story
- 31:33Speaker 1: you came out with. Yeah, that's the lead. That's the
- 31:36Speaker 1: lead forget you being well, get to me. We'll get
- 31:41Speaker 1: to me. We got to get to this Hallie Barry.
- 31:43Speaker 1: So she posted it on Instagram. Did you see if
- 31:47Speaker 1: you saw it? Right? No, let me get it, let
- 31:48Speaker 1: me get what whatever? Did you see it? Yeah? What
- 31:55Speaker 1: all that? You know? What? Yeah? Right? What did I say?
- 32:00Speaker 1: My tree standing by? You know? I mean you can't
- 32:03Speaker 1: see nothing. So well the imagination has to be amazing, right, No,
- 32:09Speaker 1: I don't. I don't do that. Well it's Instagram. Yeah,
- 32:13Speaker 1: hold on, I mean who took the fall? Oh man? Well, anyway,
- 32:21Speaker 1: the caption. I love her caption, though. Her caption says,
- 32:24Speaker 1: I do what I want to do, Happy Saturday. There's
- 32:28Speaker 1: too minute plants. Anyway, We're gonna take this real and off,
- 32:31Speaker 1: get all that stuff out the way that I don't
- 32:35Speaker 1: want it to fall. I don't want it to fall,
- 32:37Speaker 1: but it's just too much stuff in the wait. All right, Yeah,
- 32:42Speaker 1: she still got it. She still still so beautiful. I
- 32:47Speaker 1: wanted the house next dough was for sale. Just it
- 32:51Speaker 1: just all right? If we if we can move on,
- 32:59Speaker 1: I don't. In sports entertainment news, the LSU women's basketball
- 33:08Speaker 1: team will head to the White House to celebrate their
- 33:10Speaker 1: national championship after all Yes, and LSU star Angel Reese
- 33:15Speaker 1: will join her team just days after saying that she wouldn't.
- 33:19Speaker 1: If you recall first, Lady Doctor Jill Biden suggested and
- 33:23Speaker 1: then walked back, the idea of having LSU be joined
- 33:27Speaker 1: by national runner up Iowa in their traditional White House
- 33:30Speaker 1: visit because the Iowa Hawk guys played such a good game,
- 33:33Speaker 1: according to Doctor Jill Well, LSU's angel reset on ESPN
- 33:37Speaker 1: on Friday, that hurt us in the moment, but just
- 33:41Speaker 1: going back on it, the team, you don't get that
- 33:43Speaker 1: experience of visiting the White House. Ever, Reese went on
- 33:46Speaker 1: to say, I'm the captain. I know the team would
- 33:49Speaker 1: love it. So there was a man yeah, but she
- 33:53Speaker 1: was upset. I mean, I'm fendingly so mad. So yeah,
- 33:57Speaker 1: we say crazy things when we're mad a lot of time.
- 34:00Speaker 1: I mean, nobody else, the second place team. It takes away,
- 34:05Speaker 1: you know, because the second place team never goes to
- 34:08Speaker 1: the White House. It's just look, that's not how it's
- 34:11Speaker 1: been done. And so it kind of made I would
- 34:14Speaker 1: feel slighted too if they go, well, both of y'all
- 34:17Speaker 1: can come when you've never done this before. And now
- 34:20Speaker 1: Jill Biden, she don't know sports, she don't know how
- 34:23Speaker 1: I goal. You know, they gotta walk that back because
- 34:26Speaker 1: it breaks rank of what normally happens. Yeah, it's like
- 34:31Speaker 1: when we ain't bringing that team up there, we're gonna
- 34:33Speaker 1: bring the other one too, and we're gonna go damn right,
- 34:38Speaker 1: damn what we gotta do. We won the national title,
- 34:40Speaker 1: but we could have lost it and got here too. Yeah. Yeah,
- 34:46Speaker 1: So congratulations. How is this more important than handy on
- 34:54Speaker 1: the back. We have moved on, sir h And finally,
- 35:03Speaker 1: in other entertainment news, Hulu has announced plans for a
- 35:07Speaker 1: new documentary film called Freak Nick. Okay, the Party Nick,
- 35:13Speaker 1: The Wildest Party Nick, Freaknick, the Wildest Party. Yes, I said, sorry,
- 35:23Speaker 1: I'm going to watch. They were neatly freaking. It was
- 35:30Speaker 1: really I think we're worth anyway. Freak Nick the Wildest Party,
- 35:38Speaker 1: Freak Nick Right, the Wildest Party Never told. They promised
- 35:40Speaker 1: us to tell the story of the annual Atlanta event
- 35:43Speaker 1: where black culture, HBCUs and hip hop converged. Jermaine Duprie
- 35:47Speaker 1: and Uncle Luke Luther Campbell, our executive producers of the
- 35:51Speaker 1: Freak Nick documentary. We'll be back right after this. You're
- 35:57Speaker 1: listening to show. During a gun control protest in Nashville,
- 36:04Speaker 1: two Tennessee black lawmakers, Representative Justin Jones and Justin Pearson,
- 36:08Speaker 1: were expelled for their chance on a House chamber floor. However,
- 36:12Speaker 1: fellow State rep. Gloria Johnson, a white Democrat, who participated
- 36:16Speaker 1: in the chance in protest, was voted not to be
- 36:19Speaker 1: expelled by one vote. President Biden Vice President Kamala Harris
- 36:24Speaker 1: are outraged by the actions of Tennessee Republicans over Jones
- 36:28Speaker 1: and Pearson's expulsion for standing up. This is what they
- 36:31Speaker 1: were doing, standing up for the lives of school children
- 36:34Speaker 1: and gun control. In addition, Vice President Harris spoke to
- 36:38Speaker 1: a crowd at this university in Nashville and called for
- 36:41Speaker 1: stricter background checks, red flag laws, and restrictions on assault rifles.
- 36:46Speaker 1: Both ousted representatives Jones and Pearson want to be reappointed
- 36:50Speaker 1: to their seats, and the Nashville Council may vote and
- 36:54Speaker 1: reinstate them. They're talking about it, but I mean, how
- 36:58Speaker 1: blatantly racists came and you benee, listen, This country has
- 37:05Speaker 1: always been racist. America is racist. If you don't think
- 37:10Speaker 1: it is, come come live here, come live here, watch
- 37:14Speaker 1: the news, pay attention to the news stories. If it's racist,
- 37:18Speaker 1: it just is man. That's that's one of the problems
- 37:22Speaker 1: in America that is racist. See if racism isn't dead,
- 37:27Speaker 1: and racism exists and it's in this country, how you
- 37:32Speaker 1: don't see that it's a racist country because the leadership
- 37:38Speaker 1: in acts racist policies. The judicial system is racist. It's
- 37:46Speaker 1: not that black people commit more crimes than white people.
- 37:50Speaker 1: That's not true. It's where I'm convicted overwhelmingly more than
- 37:55Speaker 1: white people. That's the truth of it. And because that
- 37:59Speaker 1: is the racism that exists in the judicial system, it
- 38:03Speaker 1: is racist. When the governor of Florida tries to remove
- 38:07Speaker 1: black history from classrooms, that's racist. Period. You remove mailboxes
- 38:15Speaker 1: from certain districts so that makes mail invaliding harder. That
- 38:21Speaker 1: is racist. When you realign the voting districts so that
- 38:27Speaker 1: those districts don't count as much as other districts because
- 38:30Speaker 1: they're predominantly black, that's racist. We live in a racist country, period. Facts,
- 38:39Speaker 1: And until we get there, we're not gonna fix the problem.
- 38:42Speaker 1: Because you got people think about they ain't racist, Well,
- 38:45Speaker 1: hopefully they will be reinstated. Well, of course, keep our
- 38:49Speaker 1: eyes on the story coming out. Even the white lady
- 38:51Speaker 1: didn't go she was in the trance. She didn't get out.
- 38:54Speaker 1: Yeah right, the black dudes has gone yeah, all right,
- 39:01Speaker 1: white lady Steve here, Yeah, I will say this. At
- 39:04Speaker 1: least one of the Nashville representatives, Justin Jones, he got
- 39:08Speaker 1: his seat back yesterday. They voted to ree and state him.
- 39:12Speaker 1: Will keep an eye out on the story and keep
- 39:15Speaker 1: you posting coming up with thirty four minutes after the hour.
- 39:18Speaker 1: Steve will check your voicemail right after this. You're listening
- 39:21Speaker 1: to morning show. It is time now to check Steve's voicemail.
- 39:27Speaker 1: And if you'd like to leave a message for Steve,
- 39:29Speaker 1: all you have to do is call us eight seven
- 39:31Speaker 1: seven twenty nine Steve eight seven seven twenty nine. Steve,
- 39:36Speaker 1: you might just hear your call on the air, like
- 39:38Speaker 1: this one from Sean from La Sean has a question
- 39:42Speaker 1: for you, Steve. Hey, un will Steve. This is Sean
- 39:44Speaker 1: from Los Angeles. I love, love love your show, listen
- 39:49Speaker 1: to you all the time, I quote you all the time.
- 39:53Speaker 1: My question is this all. I saw a guy on
- 39:57Speaker 1: TikTok who said that he would ever moving to his
- 40:01Speaker 1: girlfriend's house because what happens usually, he says, is that
- 40:06Speaker 1: they have ever get into an argument or whatever. She
- 40:09Speaker 1: would say, get the out of my house, um, because
- 40:13Speaker 1: whatever happened to you? Have you ever moved into a
- 40:17Speaker 1: lady's house, your girlfriend's house, and what was the results?
- 40:21Speaker 1: And would you ever do that? Thank you love you
- 40:25Speaker 1: love your show? Well I don't. It is unveiled all
- 40:33Speaker 1: of my life's history on this show. What oh always
- 40:44Speaker 1: way more untold than being told wait for the movie.
- 40:50Speaker 1: It's no way we can do the untold Steve Hardy,
- 40:56Speaker 1: there's a reason why it ain't told. I can't wait.
- 41:00Speaker 1: I have moved into an apartment that was now man okay,
- 41:06Speaker 1: and she's a young caller asking for what happened. I
- 41:10Speaker 1: moved in, and you know, some rules got established that
- 41:16Speaker 1: I didn't set because it wasn't my partner. Okay, all right, okay,
- 41:21Speaker 1: so I had to get out. I remember something my
- 41:25Speaker 1: father used to always tell me, God, that's your child
- 41:28Speaker 1: has has its own. Don't go and get nobody else's
- 41:30Speaker 1: till you can get your own, because you go to
- 41:33Speaker 1: somebody else, you got to follow their rules, and there
- 41:35Speaker 1: your rules I didn't like. So, yeah, it has happened,
- 41:38Speaker 1: and I understand where he's coming from. I would I'm
- 41:42Speaker 1: not saying you can't get an apartment with a woman.
- 41:44Speaker 1: That ain't what I'm saying. But if you move into hers,
- 41:48Speaker 1: you don't call no shots her name on the least.
- 41:51Speaker 1: I know you ain't in that fridgerator right now? Yeah,
- 41:56Speaker 1: how long them showers all that? Yeah, you can't eating
- 42:01Speaker 1: a bed. She's not your mother. Yeah but mom was
- 42:08Speaker 1: you know, sir, it's her house, girl. I know that.
- 42:13Speaker 1: But still you guys are together her house. That's why
- 42:18Speaker 1: you would need to do it. Walk on the carpet
- 42:21Speaker 1: with these shoes on one more time? What I think
- 42:26Speaker 1: your mom would say? I walked on the corpet one
- 42:30Speaker 1: more till the shoes on my band? Was that done?
- 42:33Speaker 1: You just you just had to have you have another one? Yes,
- 42:42Speaker 1: we do. This one's from Tommy for Tommy. Take a listen.
- 42:45Speaker 1: Good morning, Steve Harvey and morning crew. I know that
- 42:49Speaker 1: most of the time these calls are about questions, and Steve,
- 42:54Speaker 1: you always have the right answers. But this one is
- 42:56Speaker 1: about mister Thomas Mouse. Tommy, you played that role on
- 43:02Speaker 1: Pride Saturday Night. My name is Tea. I'm calling from Virginia.
- 43:06Speaker 1: I just wanted to tell you love you man, got
- 43:10Speaker 1: nothing beloved for you, thank you, thank you. Yeah, Steve,
- 43:17Speaker 1: you're proud of Yeah, Well, I mean I haven't seen
- 43:21Speaker 1: it yet. I've just heard a lot of really really
- 43:24Speaker 1: good reviews about it. I actually I don't even what
- 43:27Speaker 1: night was a Saturday. I was watching the Fights and
- 43:32Speaker 1: I forgot and I forgot, you know, I did forget,
- 43:36Speaker 1: but I am going to watch it. Tommy didn't watch
- 43:38Speaker 1: it either. Well, yeah, I'm I'm I mean, I've heard
- 43:41Speaker 1: a number of good reviews about it. What I'm saying, yeah,
- 43:44Speaker 1: you know I watch it? Did I tell you? If
- 43:46Speaker 1: I'm proud of them, I can't just say you proud
- 43:50Speaker 1: of them, Junior? Why would I do that truth and advertise? No, Ye,
- 44:00Speaker 1: I'm reason I'm proud of him. You see what you're
- 44:05Speaker 1: proud for. Well, we're all proud of your nephew. Keep
- 44:11Speaker 1: up the good work. And coming up next, so here
- 44:14Speaker 1: we go a prank phone call from the nephew right
- 44:17Speaker 1: after this you're listening show coming up at the top
- 44:23Speaker 1: of the hour, right about four minutes after. It's my
- 44:25Speaker 1: strawberry letter for today and the subject is my son's
- 44:29Speaker 1: daddy is blocking my happiness. We'll get find out what
- 44:34Speaker 1: that's all about. What is he really blocking and all
- 44:37Speaker 1: of that. Maybe Daddy hate. We'll find out just a
- 44:43Speaker 1: few because right now the nephew is here with today's
- 44:46Speaker 1: prank phone call. I understand this is a classic, nephew.
- 44:50Speaker 1: What you got for us today? Theseus doors? And if
- 44:52Speaker 1: my granddaddy was here again, it'd be dos her doors.
- 44:59Speaker 1: It was really but in life, if my granddadd was
- 45:02Speaker 1: here'd be dough. Okay, that's gonna be that's gonna be
- 45:06Speaker 1: classic for you. Let's go get dough. Hello. Hello, I'm
- 45:09Speaker 1: trying to reach all mister Paul. Please call Virginia Senior,
- 45:13Speaker 1: probably senior. Okay, is man? How are you doing to that?
- 45:16Speaker 1: I'm good, I'm gonna listen. My name is Mark. I'm
- 45:18Speaker 1: actually calling from a company called Doors. Are you are
- 45:22Speaker 1: you at court? Yes? Correct? You guys just built at
- 45:25Speaker 1: home right? Yeah, Okay, I'm like I said, my name
- 45:27Speaker 1: is Mark Stevens. I'm actually calling from doors or we're
- 45:31Speaker 1: actually the company that uh supplied the doors that are
- 45:34Speaker 1: actually throughout your house. Okay, great, what are you calling from?
- 45:37Speaker 1: A follow up? No, this isn't a follow up. Actually,
- 45:40Speaker 1: we're got a couple of glitches we want to try
- 45:41Speaker 1: and get get straighten out if we could find Uh, Well,
- 45:44Speaker 1: here's here's the problem, sir. The problem we're having is
- 45:47Speaker 1: that the contractor that actually built you all's home, yes,
- 45:51Speaker 1: has not paid for the doors. You guys have been
- 45:54Speaker 1: there two and a half months, and uh, we can't
- 45:58Speaker 1: seem to get the contractor to come in to pay
- 46:00Speaker 1: for the doors. You try to call that. We've tried
- 46:03Speaker 1: to call them several times and we have not been
- 46:05Speaker 1: able to get up for the yav on him because
- 46:07Speaker 1: you don't have a good number. I can give you
- 46:09Speaker 1: a number because I really don't have anything to do
- 46:12Speaker 1: with that. It's like, how do you get my number? Well,
- 46:15Speaker 1: actually we had your number of files as the homeowner
- 46:17Speaker 1: and that's pretty much how we had you. But the
- 46:20Speaker 1: problem we're facing here, sir, is we tried to get
- 46:22Speaker 1: this guy for the last couple of months and we
- 46:24Speaker 1: can't get him. So, actually, what's what's gonna happen here
- 46:28Speaker 1: and the next day or so is we're probably gonna
- 46:30Speaker 1: have to come and get all the doors ways to
- 46:33Speaker 1: do what, We're probably gonna have to come and get
- 46:35Speaker 1: all the doors in your house, take them off and
- 46:38Speaker 1: bring them back here to the plant until we get
- 46:41Speaker 1: we get out my doors. We're gonna have to get
- 46:44Speaker 1: those doors until either we get a contractor or you know,
- 46:47Speaker 1: we get paid for the doors. Now, what could happen
- 46:49Speaker 1: if you could pay for the doors? No, no, no,
- 46:51Speaker 1: already paid for the doors. That's that's that's past tense.
- 46:54Speaker 1: I've done that, paid you saint paying that means I
- 46:58Speaker 1: got a double back. Well, sir, we haven't been paid,
- 47:00Speaker 1: sir for the doors as well. No, no, no, the
- 47:02Speaker 1: contractor was paid for the doors. That's who paid you. Okay,
- 47:07Speaker 1: And what I'm trying to explain to you, sir, we
- 47:09Speaker 1: haven't been paid at all here at doors number all.
- 47:13Speaker 1: Oh okay, well I do what they should receive a
- 47:17Speaker 1: check from my contract one of you, sir, is that
- 47:21Speaker 1: that hasn't been done. So since you have not been paid,
- 47:24Speaker 1: you're gonna come back and get my doors out? You said.
- 47:26Speaker 1: We Now, who's all this? You know? And who are
- 47:28Speaker 1: they gonna come? Here's the problem here? Like, no, no,
- 47:31Speaker 1: there ain't no problems. We're gonna we're gonna resolve this
- 47:33Speaker 1: very peacefully. But who who is we? Okay? So what's
- 47:36Speaker 1: taking place here? My job is they've taken this money
- 47:39Speaker 1: out of my check. That hasn't been paid for the doors.
- 47:42Speaker 1: Oh yes, I can understand that, but why would they
- 47:44Speaker 1: take it out your check? You did the man hours, you,
- 47:46Speaker 1: you've done your work. I don't understand it, sir. But
- 47:49Speaker 1: since the company hasn't been paid, the company has taken
- 47:52Speaker 1: it out on me, and it's not gonna come down
- 47:54Speaker 1: on me. So either I'm gonna get the doors, well,
- 47:56Speaker 1: you need to quit your job because they ain't gonna
- 47:58Speaker 1: because they need to give you a not just give
- 48:01Speaker 1: you a bonus, but give you some only word because
- 48:03Speaker 1: bottom line is you're talking about coming to get my doors. Now,
- 48:06Speaker 1: that's not gonna happen. Either we resolve this peacefully as
- 48:09Speaker 1: if you pay for it, or I come out and
- 48:11Speaker 1: get the doors. I'm not finished city and go back.
- 48:14Speaker 1: You may go in and come get these doors. Gas
- 48:16Speaker 1: up and come get these doors. Because you're not gonna
- 48:18Speaker 1: come and get this. I'm not gonna send you no money, okay, sir.
- 48:21Speaker 1: Then then what we need to do is get a
- 48:23Speaker 1: schedule time where I can come out and get all
- 48:25Speaker 1: the doors. I'm on your time. I'm sorry, I'm on
- 48:27Speaker 1: your time now. So you got this, you must be
- 48:29Speaker 1: paying me now since I'm on your time. What are
- 48:31Speaker 1: you talking about? Because you're talking about you're gonna set
- 48:34Speaker 1: up a time with me. That means I have to
- 48:36Speaker 1: leave and do what I do to be meet you
- 48:38Speaker 1: here to get something don't belong to you, which is
- 48:40Speaker 1: my door, so you don't have to be there at all,
- 48:42Speaker 1: because I'm gonna I'm gonna come in and take the
- 48:45Speaker 1: front door off, and I'm gonna keep keep moving through
- 48:47Speaker 1: the house and get all the doors and get them
- 48:49Speaker 1: back here to the play. I don't think you hear
- 48:50Speaker 1: yourself now first and almost how you when you come
- 48:53Speaker 1: to the front door, I'm gonna be without waiting on
- 48:55Speaker 1: you as you as you take it off the latch,
- 48:57Speaker 1: I'm gonna be on your behind making shit. You realize
- 49:00Speaker 1: you're gonna have to take this door or take this
- 49:02Speaker 1: and I'm taking I'm pretty show I'm coming to you
- 49:05Speaker 1: and get that first door. Sure, I can't keep going
- 49:07Speaker 1: back and forth with you. Let me say this to you.
- 49:09Speaker 1: I'm coming to get them doors, even if I gotta
- 49:11Speaker 1: take a whip, because I gotta get my money back
- 49:14Speaker 1: from the company that they didn't took for me, because
- 49:15Speaker 1: you damn contractors did not pay for the damn doors.
- 49:19Speaker 1: Say he matter, hey, bringing your arms down when you're talking.
- 49:22Speaker 1: You're talking, Tom gol Man, I'm gonna I'm gonna get
- 49:24Speaker 1: this on you. I'm not gonna allowing you to come
- 49:27Speaker 1: to my hearts and take these damn doors and you
- 49:29Speaker 1: ain't coming to get no money. I'm coming to get
- 49:31Speaker 1: them doors that I'm coming to get them today. I
- 49:34Speaker 1: need every low. What time you're coming. I want to
- 49:37Speaker 1: even bad when you come back with these doors, because
- 49:39Speaker 1: I make show. Please what time you're coming. Don't don't
- 49:42Speaker 1: worry about when I'm coming. You know when I'm there,
- 49:44Speaker 1: when I take the first door off the heads, every goal,
- 49:47Speaker 1: we're gonna meet at that door and that and tell
- 49:50Speaker 1: you what I'm gonna pay you. I'm playing dollar equipment.
- 49:53Speaker 1: Now take that check and gonna tass that inside whooping
- 49:56Speaker 1: the night. I'm gonna take that hooping if that's what

- 53:55Speaker 1: We got it for you. Here it is Strawberry letter,
- 53:58Speaker 1: Thank you, Cabe, I mean nephew Tommy subject. My son's
- 54:03Speaker 1: daddy is blocking my happiness. Dear Stephen Shirley. I was
- 54:06Speaker 1: in a long distance relationship for four years, and when
- 54:09Speaker 1: I broke up with a guy, he moved to my
- 54:11Speaker 1: city and I ended up getting pregnant by him. After
- 54:15Speaker 1: the breakup, I was ready to be done with him,
- 54:18Speaker 1: but now I'm tied to his insecure, cry baby of
- 54:21Speaker 1: a man for life because of our son. We try
- 54:25Speaker 1: a co parent, but he cannot understand that that's it,
- 54:28Speaker 1: nothing else. I was dating someone new for about three
- 54:32Speaker 1: months and I had tried to keep it from my ex,
- 54:34Speaker 1: but my son told his dad about how mommy and
- 54:37Speaker 1: Jake liked to watch TV with him. I got a
- 54:39Speaker 1: call from his dad in his whiny voice, he asked
- 54:43Speaker 1: me who Jake is. I told him Jake is a
- 54:45Speaker 1: great man and he was very kind to our sons.
- 54:49Speaker 1: I could hear him sniffling, so I knew he was crying.
- 54:53Speaker 1: He told me he was on his way to my
- 54:55Speaker 1: house so we could talk. I had a dinner date
- 54:58Speaker 1: with Jake, so I told my ex and we'd have
- 55:00Speaker 1: to talk some other time. He popped up anyway. Just
- 55:05Speaker 1: as Jake parked his car in front of my apartment.
- 55:08Speaker 1: I saw my ex talking to Jake, and then I
- 55:10Speaker 1: got a call from Jake. He said he was going
- 55:13Speaker 1: to take a rain check because my son's father was
- 55:16Speaker 1: visibly upset and he thinks that I should talk to him.
- 55:19Speaker 1: I was so mad that I didn't let my ex
- 55:22Speaker 1: come in. I cursed him out in the hallway, and
- 55:25Speaker 1: I hope my neighbors heard it. I finally gave him
- 55:28Speaker 1: something to cry about. This is not the first time
- 55:30Speaker 1: he has pulled this stunt. He is blocking my happiness
- 55:33Speaker 1: and he thinks I owe him a second chance since
- 55:36Speaker 1: we have a son together. Jake said he's not trying
- 55:40Speaker 1: to break up a family, and I understand that, but
- 55:43Speaker 1: I had hoped that he would fight for me. How
- 55:45Speaker 1: do I get my cry baby X to find himself
- 55:48Speaker 1: a nice girl to date. Should I pick up and
- 55:50Speaker 1: move to another city? Listen, I'm glad you checked your X.
- 55:56Speaker 1: I'm glad you did that because he was out of
- 55:58Speaker 1: order to do it. He did, But no, you shouldn't
- 56:01Speaker 1: move to another city. The baby needs his father. They
- 56:04Speaker 1: need to be in the same city if they can.
- 56:06Speaker 1: He needs that. You know, it's not about you and
- 56:09Speaker 1: your ex right now. It's about the baby should come first. Okay,
- 56:13Speaker 1: I know your son is already here, But my question
- 56:16Speaker 1: to you is why were you dipping back with your
- 56:19Speaker 1: X in the first place, I mean, without any protection
- 56:22Speaker 1: after you broke up with him. I know people do
- 56:24Speaker 1: it all the time, but you could have protected yourself.
- 56:28Speaker 1: Remember why you broke up with him in the first place.
- 56:31Speaker 1: So I'm just at a loss as to why you
- 56:33Speaker 1: think he has changed at all. I mean, you called
- 56:37Speaker 1: him an insecure cry baby, and what did you think
- 56:40Speaker 1: was going to happen? He showed you who he was.
- 56:43Speaker 1: You should have believed him. You know, you guys were
- 56:45Speaker 1: reckless to do this. So the best you can do
- 56:48Speaker 1: now is to talk to your baby daddy and try
- 56:51Speaker 1: to reason with him about some sort of responsible co
- 56:54Speaker 1: parenting here, since that's not really happening. The baby comes first,
- 56:57Speaker 1: like I said, and like many men in his position,
- 57:02Speaker 1: doesn't want the drama. This is drama to Jake. All
- 57:06Speaker 1: this drama that comes with you and the baby daddy
- 57:08Speaker 1: and all of this stuff and driving up to your
- 57:11Speaker 1: house and cussing him out, all that's drama. Your ex
- 57:14Speaker 1: is full of it this drama because he wants you back.
- 57:18Speaker 1: It's not that your new boyfriend, Jake doesn't care about
- 57:21Speaker 1: you and your son, obviously he does. It's just that
- 57:24Speaker 1: he sees you, your ex and your son. It's a family.
- 57:27Speaker 1: Like he said, he doesn't want to tamper with that.
- 57:29Speaker 1: He'd rather move on, and who can blame him with
- 57:32Speaker 1: all this stuff you got going on. So clean up
- 57:35Speaker 1: your mess first with your ex before you try to
- 57:37Speaker 1: get serious with the man. That's my advice to you,
- 57:40Speaker 1: Steve Well, Ain't this an interesting letter? I was debating
- 57:46Speaker 1: as I was listening to Shirley how I was going
- 57:48Speaker 1: to approach this letter. But it's only one way to
- 57:51Speaker 1: do it, straightforward, dead down the middle, as I go. Now,
- 57:56Speaker 1: you were in a long distance relationship this woman right
- 58:00Speaker 1: for four years. The subject is my dad. My son's
- 58:03Speaker 1: daddy is blocking my happiness. You're in the longest relationship
- 58:07Speaker 1: for four years. When I broke up with the guy.
- 58:10Speaker 1: See long distance meaning you don't get to see him
- 58:15Speaker 1: all the time. He moved to my city and I
- 58:18Speaker 1: ended up getting pregnant by him. After the breakup, I
- 58:23Speaker 1: was already done with him, but now I'm tied to
- 58:26Speaker 1: this insecure cry baby of a man for life. Because
- 58:31Speaker 1: of our sons. We try to copart, but he can understand,
- 58:35Speaker 1: not understand that that that's it. Nothing else. Now here's
- 58:39Speaker 1: the letter. I was dating somebody for about three months.
- 58:42Speaker 1: I tried to keep it from my ex mister insecure crabbing,
- 58:46Speaker 1: but my son told his dad about how mommy and
- 58:48Speaker 1: Jake like to watch TV with him. I got a
- 58:52Speaker 1: call from the daddy in his whiny voice, and he
- 58:56Speaker 1: asked me, who is who Jake? And so I told
- 59:02Speaker 1: him Jake is a great man and he was very
- 59:05Speaker 1: kind to our son. I can hear him sniffling, so
- 59:08Speaker 1: I knew he was crying. Hood Who Jake? Why why
- 59:16Speaker 1: did you watching TV with and in front of our son?
- 59:23Speaker 1: He told me dog was watching TV and he was
- 59:31Speaker 1: right there between y'all and he the old man, how
- 59:35Speaker 1: much he like watching TV with y'all. You know I
- 59:45Speaker 1: would I just want to know, why would you do
- 59:49Speaker 1: that something like that? You know, watching TV with this
- 59:52Speaker 1: boy in front of our son and he trying to
- 59:57Speaker 1: he got to go, He got to go to school
- 59:59Speaker 1: in the morning, and y'all got him watching with y'all.
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: You gone. I can't hang Oh, yeah you can. All right,
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: we'll have part two of your response coming up at
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: twenty three minutes after the hour. Today's Strawberry Letter subject
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: my son's daddy is blocking my happiness. We'll get back
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: into it right after this. You're listening show, all right,
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: Come on, Steve, let's recap today's Strawberry letter. The subject
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: is my son's daddy it's blocking my happiness. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: I got this. Lady was in a long this relationship
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: with this guy, cry baby whinny Man. She didn't know
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: that about him because she wasn't around him enough, you know,
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: but and there just gotta she Then he moved to
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: the city and y'all ended up. You got pregnant by
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: him after the breakup. I was already done with him
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: because of some other stuff that happened. But now I'm
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: tired to this insecure crap, Davis Man, because of our
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: so we tried to coke pan, but he can't understand
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: that that's just gonna be get nothing else. Then you
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: say he was dating this new guy for about three months.
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: I tried to keep it from my answer, but my
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: son told us, Daddy, how Mommy and Jake like to
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: watch TV. With him. I got a call from his
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: daddy and his winding boy. He asked, who, who who
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: is Jake? Don't act like you don't know who he is?
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: Who is Jake? So I told him he was a
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: very kind man, and he was very kind to our suck.
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: I could hear him sniffness, so I knew he was crying,
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: asking you who Jake? You're gonna tell me that you here?
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: Jake was watch your TV with your boy. He gotta
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: go to school, wise head, and I cried and here
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: trying to be his jown, to be the father for
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: his baby. You're gonna sit up here, gonna sit up
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: and watching TV, went to Jacob in front of the baby.
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: I knew he was crying. He told me he was
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: on my way to the house so we could talk.
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: I had a dinner on the way the way I'm
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: coming over, so you can see. You gotta see me, right,
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: just snipping that ain't doing what I needed to do.
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: He needed to see me. I would drive on. Yeah,
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: And so I had a dinner day with Jake. So
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: I told my ex that we'd have to talk some
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: other times. He popped up anyway, just as Jake parked
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: his car in front of my partner. I saw my
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: ex talking to Jake, and then I got a call
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: from Jake. Hey, Jake, Jake, Way, Jake, Jake, look like
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: you could be kind. She said that you were kind
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: to me. I didn't be calling you is I think
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: you should know? Hello? Yeah, and him is my son,
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: and we was gonna be go, but you was blocking
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: because now you don't be at all strong and everything,
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: and I'm saying, I mean, dude. So now Jake didn't
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: nickname him Pad, Jake calls him. So Jake called. So
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: you got a call from Jake, And Jake said he
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: was gonna take a rain check because your son's father
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: was visibly a set and he thinks I should talk
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: to him. So he said this was Jake said, I
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: think you'll talk to him. So she said, why are
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: you calling him Pad? Then Jake said coming, that's the
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: new nickname out game. She said, what did that mean?
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: He said, your sons daddy and so his pucking as
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: studdy to call up him, and so you need to
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: tell Pad you need to talk to Pand so I
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: was so mad I didn't let my ex come in.
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: I cursed him out in the hallway. Why are you
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: cousin me? And yeah, I want I want to do
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: him come here and watching me like you been doing
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: with Jake, but you watch me, you want to watch
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: me with Jake and everything. And I would have told Jake.
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: I told me right now. I told Jake outside, I said,
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: you're breaking up and had a family, and you need
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: to stop all this him because you need to call somewhere.
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: Other womenses out here, other women's. He's all the women's
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: out here with you up everybody, baby, Bake and my son.
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: He liked it you and so then I cursed him
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: out in the hallway and I cousin, I got to
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: be in front of me kids. And so this is
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: not the first time he has pulled this stuff. He
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: is black in my happiness and he thinks I want
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: him a second chance because we have a son together.
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: Jake said, he's not trying to break up a family.
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: I understand that, but I had hoped that he would
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: fight for me. Jake said, well, I would fight for you,
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: but I'm not never hit a woman before, so I
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: don't think, well, I can't fight for me because I
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: ain't never hit a woman before. Because the pad cause
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: he's punk ass daddy keep acting like a woman. I
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: just be elected to be hard for me to fight
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: him because I was raised better than that. How do
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: I get my Cryberry X to find himself a nice girl?
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: To day? You don't date because yeah, I can't get
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: nobody else. You know how I be crying and stuff
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: and every time I'm only date with somebody and they
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: asked me once I had a relationship, I gotta started
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: crying and telling him about you. And then they don't
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: want to be bothered with me because everybody don't want
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: to like you. Was only sleep with me and I
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: was bad and all the women just stood up and
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: walk away, and you know, ha harmis? You know, I
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: like to crap. You're don't go aware and I like
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: a crime. Why you won't turn me down? Ain't nobody
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: put it up with you? But you know I need
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: you for my need? Somebody was coller ate my fun?
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: All right, pad ied, I know I haven't done Today's

- 1:08:52Speaker 1: don't know what happened the other night, but they just
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: they self destructed, didn't, Yeah, didn't They was over there
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: on on in the time. I mean, Rudy Gobert swung
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: his teammates. I don't I don't understand. Somebody broke their hands. Yeah,
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: he punched the wall, not Rudy, but I don't know
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: his teammate. I can't fear who that was. But he
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: brought he broke his hand man, so they playing the night.
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: But I just don't understand what's going on. Who you
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: know be the wall? Who? Who you know? The Wall

- 1:09:38Speaker 1: the eighth C for the playoffs. We'll find out what's
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: gonna happen. But it's gonna be great. I'm looking forward
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: to it. Let's see what Jan is that? Yeah, that's him,
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: thank you. Coming up at the top of the hour,
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: a guy on social media, Steve needs some advice. His
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: roommate doesn't believe in doctors. What we'll talk about that
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: right after this you're listening to morning show. So Steve
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: Dion on Facebook writes, my roommate is one of those
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: quote don't trust doctors type people, and yet he's always
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: got something wrong with him, be it an illness or
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: rash or whatever. He treats the stuff he reads on
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: the internet like it's the gospel. And the other morning
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: he brought some coconut oil because he read that it
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: would make his jock itch go away. Literally, I'm sitting
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: on the couch and see him grab a handful of
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: the stuff and shove it down his pants. When I
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: say go see a doctor, he acts like I said
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: something crazy. Anyway, How do you talk to someone who's
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: unreasonable and won't listen even when it's in their best interest? Yeah,
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: why don't you get rid of to ruinmate? Now? Yeah? Yeah?
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: Did he take a handful of coconut all yeah and
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: jam it down his shorts and star massage and he's
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: jotting you we need it, we need no roommate. Dog,
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: Hey dog, hey man, hey yo yo yo yo yo, Man.
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: What you doing dog? The game on? Man? You just
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: touched the light switch? After that? This is too much.
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: It's a lot. So what is a new roommate? What? What?
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: What does he do? What does no? You need new roommates?
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: So he got him. He wants to know how he
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: talks to talk to him because he's unreasonable and he
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: won't listen. You live with an unreasonable person? Why if
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: you can't afford to rent. Move to a one bed room.
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: You don't need a two bed room because guess what,
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: he and the other bedroom. So take your rent and
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: go get a one bed room on efficiency so you
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: can be happy, because what I'm not gonna do is
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: be sitting them here. We're watching the game. You got
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: a handful of coping that three hide down your pants
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: and then to stop the h that's lebron, lebron, Why
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: you steady? Just massage and coconut into your jocket? No
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: do you not? And turned around here telling out talking
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: to me, Hey bro me and you ain't or handle conversation.
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: Why are you rubbing yourself with your coconut on? That's
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: all right, Okay, that's it. We do have time for
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: one more. Don't don't saying don't touch the hand though,
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: No Steve. This one came from Steve Harvey at them
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: And this is from Kenneth who says, on Saturday, my
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: wife came home and I noticed deads on the rims
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: of three of our cars, four tires. I asked her
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: what happened. Her answer tripped me out. She said, our
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: toddler's son, who rides in a car seat just loves
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: it when she hits potholes and seems to think it's
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: a ride. So my wife aims for them so she
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: can hear our kid giggle. Now, how can I approach
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: this conversation? These repairs are going to cost us a
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: lot of money that we don't have. Hey, baby, listen,
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: what you could do is you can take that cost
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: out and drop it on the ground and he can
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: get that same effect without these damn pothole Believe her,
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: You believe this is not a lot made up because no, no, no, no, no, no, no,
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: no no, you can't make this sofa because she's not
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: denying that it's hurt. She's telling you how she's nicking
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: these ties and she's running in potholes. But the damage
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: to your car, to your axle, to your realms and
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: all of that is costly. Now, baby, need to find
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: another way to get entertained. Yes, right, you know it
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: just sounding like what he needed to do. It Just
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: don't take his ass and sleep since you in that
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: cost like most babies. Yeah, you need to quit trying
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: to find ways to entertain him. I said, bro said,
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: you got to go say listen baby, to get these
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: realms fix it's gonna cost money. So I don't think
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: we should entertain the children. And then it could be
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: it could cause an accident for you. You go in
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: one of these potholes, you have a blowout, lose control
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: in the car. Now you're in a really serious accent,
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: and I don't want nothing to happen to you. You baby.
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: Now I don't know who that baby is. We keep
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: riding around if we don't really know. But if he
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: wants some excitement, we can strap his ass to the
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: hood while he put his ass in the trunk. If
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: he wants an excitement, let him ride in the trunk
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: and don't strap it down. Just don't let that cost
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: He take these curves how I want to be sauce.
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: He like laughing and stuff like that. All right, anyway,
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: we'll have more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: up a twenty minutes after the hour right after this

- 1:20:49Speaker 1: Okay what she posted it. I'm I'm gonna have that
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: again tomorrow. That's my takeaway again. To mar You're gonna
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: bring it up tomorrow too. You're damn right up. In
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: the words of Boomerang's grandmama, yeah, you don't have to
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: say that. No matter how fine a woman is, there
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: as a man somewhere sick and tided hood a lord,
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: I have found that to be no truer of a statement. Man,
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: I do what I want to do. Yep, you do? Yeah,
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: I heard you got it? Man? What it's on your
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: mind right now? Well, I'm just saying, you know, Tommy
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: is fascinated about this, and I just want him to know,
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: you know, well you know how much he loves Hallie Beer. Yeah, Tommy,
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: I have an idea. Maybe you, since you're acting again,
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: maybe you can stop. Already thought of a shirtless Sure,
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: I'm already thought, Hey, Tommy, dan moving, what would have
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: been a great movie for you and Hallie to start
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: in together? The movie that's out. You'd played what role?
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: And she'd played what role? A man? What shut up
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: Academy Jones? I was gonna love Jones? Yeah, she love Jones.
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: That would be nice. But I love ant Man though.
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: Junior coming in second, Mario brother. So what's the show?
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: What's the show? Slim Slim and Song? What was that show? Oh? Yeah,
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: I'm thinking cat Woman, Queen, Slim Queen, Slim Queen and
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: Slim Slim. Okay, sound really no movies? So so you
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: can't participate. I don't know who none of you y'all
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: talking about. Damn sure. Did you see Boomerang? Steve halle
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: Berry was in Boomerang? Eddie Murphy, Oh, come one, now,
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: come on. I never saw don't tell you never saw
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: a Boomerang up for no. I saw clips of it,
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: like when Witherspoon came out the bathroom with Yes's daddy. Yeah,
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: I saw the terrible scene, but I never really watched
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: the whole movie. You have to make it your business
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: to watch that movie. It's a great movie, had a
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: classic black love story, and had it could have done Avatar,
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: that'd have been good. It run around naked and blue,
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: that'd have been Okay, yeah, but who are you going
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: to be? An avatar? And tall? As you said on
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: the back of one of them big birds. I feel
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: who you got, man, You think the Laker is gonna
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: do something? You know, Man, coming out to the East,
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: it's a toss up between Boston and Yamas. I like
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: the seventy sixers, but because I like Joel Mbi when
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: he played big. But you know, basketball has seriously changed.
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: I've been really trying to enjoy the game. It's not
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: as enjoyable as it used to be because you just
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: don't see basketball the way it was. You know, like,
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: you don't see any post up plays. You don't see
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: any players where they dump it in the post to
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: the big man and he go to work. You don't
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: see that. You don't see a whole lot of mid
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: range jumpers. There's no plays off of that Harley, you know,
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: I mean the rest of it. It's the moralizing. Man.
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: Sometimes when you see a team just running out on
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: the perimeter and four players go set up on the
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: perimeter and you pass around till you get the open
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: shot and they hit the three. They're more excited now
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: to make a three than anything. And if they dunked
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: the ball. The celebration is always too much like like
- 1:25:13Speaker 1: like like you know, like when they dump and they
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: throw their head back, dog dog you six ten? Dog dog?
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: You six ten? Hey, dog dog? Nobody was on you.
- 1:25:33Speaker 1: You was wide open. That ain't the moment or you
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: break away and dump. That's I don't get it, man,
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: I don't get it. It's just a different game. And
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: I've and Lebron is the king of this game right now.
- 1:25:47Speaker 1: He is the greatest living basketball player modern era. It's
- 1:25:54Speaker 1: Lebron James. Michael Jordan's was the king of his arrow. Now.
- 1:26:01Speaker 1: Could Lebron James have played in the era and been successful, undoubtedly,
- 1:26:06Speaker 1: So he's that great of a ball player. But Lord
- 1:26:10Speaker 1: have mercy Jesus, if Michael Jordan was playing today sixty
- 1:26:14Speaker 1: or not, what the hell would be happening because his
- 1:26:18Speaker 1: game it's just every it would be subles see. So, hey, y'all,
- 1:26:24Speaker 1: that's our show for today. I hope you enjoyed it. Hey, listen, y'all,
- 1:26:28Speaker 1: talk to God. He would absolutely love to hear from
- 1:26:31Speaker 1: you today. Start a relationship with God. Man. You don't
- 1:26:33Speaker 1: have to go to church and do that. Just sit
- 1:26:35Speaker 1: somewhere acknowledge him and have a conversation with him. It
- 1:26:39Speaker 1: would be great. Y'all say it for all Steve Every contests.
