- 1:05Speaker 1: Tanya Nolan, How you doing?
- 1:07Speaker 2: Tanya?
- 1:07Speaker 3: Hey, what a wonderful introduction and thank you for having
- 1:10Speaker 3: me again on your show.
- 1:12Speaker 1: We know, it's so fun to watch and listen to
- 1:16Speaker 1: somebody as you see the journey. And when we first
- 1:19Speaker 1: brought you on the show, you know, the predominant part
- 1:21Speaker 1: of our conversation was about your daycares and how your daycare.
- 1:25Speaker 1: Let's get that part of the entrepreneur role in your
- 1:27Speaker 1: life out the way.
- 1:28Speaker 2: Your two daycares in Texas. How are they coming along?
- 1:31Speaker 4: It's coming along really really well. I'm thankful.
- 1:34Speaker 3: I'm grateful the kiddos, loving keeping them busy with the
- 1:37Speaker 3: activities and of course learning is the number one thing,
- 1:40Speaker 3: you know them ABC's one, two, three, Science, et cetera,
- 1:43Speaker 3: et cetera. So far, the kids love it, so I
- 1:46Speaker 3: haven't gotten any complaints. I did bless them with Valentine's streets.
- 1:52Speaker 3: All of them got flowers, candy.
- 1:55Speaker 4: You know.
- 1:55Speaker 3: They was excited about the activities and we even made
- 1:58Speaker 3: it words. They were able to make their parents something
- 2:00Speaker 3: as well. So it's going well with that.
- 2:03Speaker 2: Well, you know, why are you an entrepreneur, miss Nolan?
- 2:07Speaker 1: You're because you're you know, you're a very talented singer, okay,
- 2:10Speaker 1: and that producer, But why are you an entrepreneur?
- 2:15Speaker 4: I love being in control.
- 2:16Speaker 3: I do not like anyone, you know, telling me what
- 2:20Speaker 3: to do unless I want them to, you know what
- 2:22Speaker 3: I mean. But other than that, I like to be
- 2:25Speaker 3: in control. I like to make decisions. I'm a strong
- 2:28Speaker 3: delegator and I'm great at it. So I kind of
- 2:30Speaker 3: knew that early on as a child working for other people,
- 2:34Speaker 3: and I discovered early on that was not going to
- 2:37Speaker 3: be for me. I was going to constantly either get
- 2:39Speaker 3: fired or I was just really going to be miserable
- 2:42Speaker 3: for the rest.
- 2:43Speaker 4: Of my life if I work for anybody.
- 2:45Speaker 3: I knew at an early age that I needed to
- 2:47Speaker 3: be my own boss.
- 2:48Speaker 4: I knew it.
- 2:50Speaker 1: So so it's important to people to hear that because
- 2:53Speaker 1: I myself, you know, I worked for IBM for five years,
- 2:56Speaker 1: two years and a half years undergraduate. In two years
- 2:58Speaker 1: two and a half years graduate, now realized that IBM
- 3:01Speaker 1: was not for me. But it's a lot of people
- 3:04Speaker 1: are afraid out there, are intimidated by the process of change,
- 3:09Speaker 1: fear that that they make a decision lead this quality job,
- 3:12Speaker 1: that what's that next step, where's that benefit?
- 3:15Speaker 2: What? How could you give people advice on that?
- 3:19Speaker 1: Telling you about when you're at that crossroad about indecisiveness.
- 3:25Speaker 3: Step out on I'm gonna say this, step believe in yourself,
- 3:31Speaker 3: step out on faith, put that fear behind.
- 3:35Speaker 4: Because we go through things every day any anyways.
- 3:39Speaker 3: So that's just one one situation that you need to
- 3:42Speaker 3: go ahead and tackle and and and and master. Learn
- 3:46Speaker 3: the lesson, get get, get through it, pass the test
- 3:50Speaker 3: so you can get to the next lesson.
- 3:52Speaker 4: But that's the very one that.
- 3:53Speaker 3: You need to pass very very fast, because that's talking
- 3:56Speaker 3: about your money. That's talking about your career. Tackle that on,
- 4:01Speaker 3: tackle it hand on. And when you haven't the situations
- 4:05Speaker 3: like that, if it's concerning money, have multiple streams of income.
- 4:11Speaker 4: I don't have this one hustle. I cannot, I will not.
- 4:15Speaker 3: It's not that I cannot, I won't allow myself to
- 4:18Speaker 3: depend on one hustle. I don't need to always have
- 4:21Speaker 3: multiple streams of income and get excited about making money.
- 4:26Speaker 3: Do not let nobody tell you you feel sour about
- 4:31Speaker 3: making as much money as possible.
- 4:34Speaker 2: See you fired up right now about this multiple streams
- 4:37Speaker 2: of income.
- 4:38Speaker 4: I'm exciting. Exciting is not going away?
- 4:40Speaker 1: Okay, Why because we hear people talk about that. That's
- 4:44Speaker 1: the term people always say about like branding. You know,
- 4:47Speaker 1: it's almost like a throw away word because people say
- 4:50Speaker 1: it so much and motivational speeches.
- 4:52Speaker 2: But you live a life of multiple streams of income.
- 4:55Speaker 1: That important Because you said, Rishan, I don't like nobody
- 4:59Speaker 1: bas to me, so I said, I'm gonna be my
- 5:01Speaker 1: own boss. That's easier said than done. Talk to us
- 5:06Speaker 1: about multiple strings of income and the importance.
- 5:09Speaker 3: Well, well, first of all, I gotta say this. I
- 5:12Speaker 3: get excited about it making money in my sleep. You
- 5:15Speaker 3: should multiple you get excited about it. I just believe
- 5:19Speaker 3: in the power of multiple streams of income because relying
- 5:22Speaker 3: on just one source of revenue can be limiting, and
- 5:25Speaker 3: diversifying allows me to build long term stability, create new opportunities,
- 5:30Speaker 3: and it also, you know, it expands my impact, whether
- 5:35Speaker 3: it's through music, business ventures, real estate, or other investments
- 5:39Speaker 3: that I do. Just having multiple income streams gives me
- 5:42Speaker 3: the freedom to stay creative Sean and Roshawan, and also
- 5:47Speaker 3: it allows me to stay in control of my career
- 5:50Speaker 3: and whatever I have going on.
- 5:53Speaker 4: I like to make that final decision.
- 5:55Speaker 3: I always bet on me because if it doesn't go
- 6:01Speaker 3: the way that I think that I was hoping for
- 6:04Speaker 3: it to go, it still falls on me, and I'm
- 6:06Speaker 3: okay with that, because all I'm going to do is
- 6:09Speaker 3: restrategize because I'm like, I'm gonna constantly say to myself
- 6:13Speaker 3: the next time, it's going to work, and I expect
- 6:15Speaker 3: it to work. So even when it comes to multiple
- 6:18Speaker 3: streams of income is extremely important, especially in today's time,
- 6:24Speaker 3: we know what's going on. I don't really play the
- 6:27Speaker 3: political game, so I try to say, focused on whatever
- 6:34Speaker 3: the investments.
- 6:36Speaker 4: That I have at hand.
- 6:40Speaker 3: Even when it comes to employees, team members, delegate, strategize,
- 6:48Speaker 3: be disciplined by writing it down on what your plans are.
- 6:54Speaker 3: You need to know what you want to do. Try
- 6:57Speaker 3: different things, be in different rooms, meet different people.
- 7:03Speaker 4: Network.
- 7:05Speaker 3: Even if you are someone that says, man, I like
- 7:07Speaker 3: to stay inside. I don't like to do this, and
- 7:09Speaker 3: you got to get out of the uncomfortableness and you
- 7:13Speaker 3: got to do it.
- 7:14Speaker 1: Now, that's that being said to you know that a
- 7:15Speaker 1: lot of people step in and go, girl, you doing
- 7:18Speaker 1: too much.
- 7:19Speaker 2: You need to sit down, find a place and get quiet.
- 7:22Speaker 1: Because let's talk about hit song like Water, upcoming new
- 7:26Speaker 1: song Blessings. You got two very profitable daycare centers in
- 7:32Speaker 1: the state of Texas. One of them is the largest
- 7:34Speaker 1: daycare center in the state of check.
- 7:36Speaker 2: And then you have a producing studio. You don't record company.
- 7:40Speaker 4: I do.
- 7:41Speaker 2: Now.
- 7:42Speaker 1: You don't think you're too busy, You don't think you're
- 7:44Speaker 1: weighing yourself down, You don't think you need to find
- 7:47Speaker 1: something else and just be quiet, get on.
- 7:50Speaker 4: It's my passion.
- 7:51Speaker 3: And the thing about it is, we only have twenty
- 7:53Speaker 3: four hours in a day, so I'm careful when it
- 7:56Speaker 3: comes to my time.
- 7:58Speaker 4: You know, my phone is constantly ringing.
- 8:00Speaker 3: Some individuals I may give two or three minutes, some
- 8:03Speaker 3: i'm gonna give fifteen and twenty, and some gets a
- 8:06Speaker 3: whole hour or two.
- 8:07Speaker 4: It all depends on what we're talking about.
- 8:10Speaker 3: Right, I'm just keeping it real because we only have
- 8:13Speaker 3: twenty four hours in a day, and out of that
- 8:15Speaker 3: twenty four hours, I have to give me some sleep. Don't,
- 8:19Speaker 3: in my opinion, don't listen to nobody when they say
- 8:22Speaker 3: I'm asleep. I'm asleep when I'm dead while I'm trying
- 8:26Speaker 3: to live. So I'm gonna give my sleep right now,
- 8:30Speaker 3: within it, and I'm gonna figure it out. So I'm
- 8:32Speaker 3: gonna give my eight to ten hours asleep. The rest
- 8:34Speaker 3: of them hours is gonna be you know, work and
- 8:38Speaker 3: some pleasure, you know, because this is the only life
- 8:41Speaker 3: that I got.
- 8:42Speaker 4: I matter.
- 8:43Speaker 3: Okay, So I'm going to treat myself, bless myself. I'm
- 8:46Speaker 3: gonna get my sleep, and I'm gonna make my money too.
- 8:48Speaker 3: Who's to say I can't do it all. I'm doing
- 8:51Speaker 3: it all. And it's always gonna be for me what's next.
- 8:55Speaker 3: It keeps me going, what's next?
- 8:58Speaker 4: What it's next? Even if God blesses me to.
- 9:02Speaker 3: Be eighty years old, eighty one years old and my
- 9:04Speaker 3: right state of mind, it's always gonna be for me,
- 9:09Speaker 3: what's next. If I haven't climbed the tree yet by
- 9:11Speaker 3: the time I'm eighty one, I promise you I'm gonna
- 9:13Speaker 3: climb that tree, because that may be what's the next?
- 9:18Speaker 1: Come on now now like water, Okay, Now, I'm gonna
- 9:24Speaker 1: just let everybody know. I have a very friendly relationship
- 9:27Speaker 1: with Tanya. I'm a fan. Okay, Now, this is what
- 9:31Speaker 1: a fan does. Okay, I'm driving in my car.
- 9:34Speaker 2: Right. She lives in the Houston, Texas area. I live
- 9:38Speaker 2: in Atlanta.
- 9:39Speaker 1: I'm all ahead of her, right, and then right on
- 9:42Speaker 1: my screen on my radio, like water, Tanya Nola.
- 9:47Speaker 2: I take a picture of that I scream, I call us.
- 9:55Speaker 1: And I could have been more proud because I know
- 9:59Speaker 1: we talked about the song, but it an't hit airwaves yet,
- 10:03Speaker 1: and when I saw it, I was just so happy
- 10:06Speaker 1: talk about that song. And that's just another form of
- 10:10Speaker 1: your drive to be successful, to drive relationship.
- 10:14Speaker 2: Because there's Raheem devon right.
- 10:17Speaker 4: That's right.
- 10:17Speaker 3: Rahim wrote the song KP and Frank Oh Frank Rose
- 10:22Speaker 3: KP from the colleagues and Frank Rose produced the track.
- 10:25Speaker 3: The original track which is a getting a strong love
- 10:30Speaker 3: on these radio stations. And when it comes to the remix,
- 10:33Speaker 3: which is what I have out right now for jazz radio,
- 10:37Speaker 3: it's a remix took out you know, quite a bit
- 10:39Speaker 3: of the vocals. That's on to Wrestle radio right now
- 10:43Speaker 3: as we speak, and it's moving up the charts pretty
- 10:46Speaker 3: fast right now.
- 10:47Speaker 4: I'm excited about it.
- 10:48Speaker 1: So I know I probably sounded silly when I when
- 10:52Speaker 1: I was screaming on your.
- 10:53Speaker 2: Phone, all that excitement saw it all. Well, whatever, yes
- 10:58Speaker 2: I have, I've seen it all.
- 10:59Speaker 1: But what I just love is with hard work and
- 11:02Speaker 1: I love the fact that you're just an honest person, Tanya.
- 11:05Speaker 4: Yes, I get talk for that at times.
- 11:08Speaker 1: You know and that honesty pays off. So let's talk
- 11:10Speaker 1: about the steps of that song. Because I heard it
- 11:13Speaker 1: on Serious Exemp Channel forty seven.
- 11:15Speaker 2: That's what they play. They love You. They broke a
- 11:18Speaker 2: song when I heard it on the radio.
- 11:20Speaker 1: When they broke it because they have this little segment
- 11:22Speaker 1: call they profile a star.
- 11:25Speaker 2: And they were featuring you, and I was like, wow,
- 11:29Speaker 2: this is hot.
- 11:30Speaker 1: Talk about what that song has done for you in
- 11:32Speaker 1: twenty twenty four lead it into twenty twenty five.
- 11:35Speaker 3: Oh man, it led me to do like they wanted more.
- 11:39Speaker 3: They wanted more of that feel so and when I
- 11:43Speaker 3: say feel fee l, they wanted more of that feel.
- 11:46Speaker 3: So I'm like, okay, let's just go ahead and try
- 11:49Speaker 3: the remix because I did a remix for one of
- 11:51Speaker 3: my others a couple of other singles, and it worked
- 11:53Speaker 3: really well for me.
- 11:54Speaker 1: Tanya Noland, come on, Texas girl, Now you try to
- 11:57Speaker 1: be like October London.
- 11:58Speaker 2: He all over jazz, he all over R and B,
- 12:02Speaker 2: he everywhere. So that's what you trying to do, you know,
- 12:04Speaker 2: the remixing on jazz. Come on now, talk to me.
- 12:08Speaker 4: I'm doing it. I'm doing it. I mean, I like
- 12:10Speaker 4: the remix.
- 12:11Speaker 3: The remix, which is Vissoul Forsona and the brand New Heavies.
- 12:16Speaker 4: They had a hit called news Up I forgot how
- 12:20Speaker 4: that's the name of the song. But I'm excited about it.
- 12:23Speaker 3: I'm happy about it, and it's doing very well and
- 12:25Speaker 3: it's only been out for about four weeks now.
- 12:29Speaker 1: That's so let's let's let's let let me just kind
- 12:31Speaker 1: of combine everything here, because you know, you got the wine,
- 12:35Speaker 1: so you see, you see you you got like water
- 12:37Speaker 1: right like, which is already kind of it's romantic, y'all
- 12:41Speaker 1: like water.
- 12:41Speaker 2: Okay, let's just.
- 12:43Speaker 1: Stepped into the jazz remix. So let's talk about this wine.
- 12:47Speaker 1: This Nolan wine Got a Fly?
- 12:50Speaker 2: Come on, how did that come about?
- 12:51Speaker 1: Because we didn't talk about that last time, so I
- 12:54Speaker 1: assume it was still in the works but it had
- 12:56Speaker 1: not been released.
- 12:57Speaker 3: Well, you know, it's an it was crafted by Signature SIPs.
- 13:03Speaker 4: And she's in one of my videos, so let's celebrate.
- 13:06Speaker 3: It's called Let's Celebrate, and she this is what she
- 13:10Speaker 3: does wine, And she asked me, is that something that
- 13:14Speaker 3: I would consider? And I'm I'm like, you know, I
- 13:17Speaker 3: drink wine on an occasion, and I'm like, you know,
- 13:20Speaker 3: my semis with a little Chris, but I told her, yeah,
- 13:24Speaker 3: so it's a it's the name of the wine. I
- 13:27Speaker 3: named it butterfly because butterflies are all different and I'm
- 13:31Speaker 3: fascinated by butterflies. And and when it comes to the taste,
- 13:36Speaker 3: it's a tequila wine, and I wanted it to be
- 13:41Speaker 3: whereas it doesn't you feel you don't feel guilty when
- 13:45Speaker 3: you drink. I'm talking to diabetic, so I'm careful when
- 13:50Speaker 3: it comes to sugar and take. So I wanted a
- 13:53Speaker 3: particular wine that does not have table sugar, the white sugar.
- 13:57Speaker 3: The brown sugar is strictly a gayvey that came from
- 14:00Speaker 3: the cactus plant. Because a guy that does not spike
- 14:03Speaker 3: my sugar at all. So I wasn't best to hav
- 14:08Speaker 3: your online where I can feel.
- 14:13Speaker 2: What am I dealing with entrepreneurship. I gotta come talk
- 14:15Speaker 2: to you. I gotta have my science biology book with you.
- 14:19Speaker 2: Not all this good stuff.
- 14:21Speaker 5: Please don't go anywhere. We'll be right back with more
- 14:24Speaker 5: Money Making Conversations Masterclass. Welcome back to the Money Making
- 14:33Speaker 5: Conversations Masterclass, hosted by Rashaan McDonald. Money Making Conversations Masterclass
- 14:39Speaker 5: continues online at Moneymakingconversations dot com and follow Money Making
- 14:44Speaker 5: Conversations Masterclass on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
- 14:50Speaker 2: Now let's go to church.
- 14:51Speaker 4: Now it's time to go to church.
- 14:53Speaker 2: Let's go to church. No lessons.
- 14:56Speaker 1: How did that song come about? And I didn't see
- 14:59Speaker 1: that coming, you know, you know, the blessing of the
- 15:04Speaker 1: song was sent to me early to get my opinion
- 15:07Speaker 1: on the song. And I said, they had an R
- 15:09Speaker 1: and B flavor to it, yes, And I said, because
- 15:12Speaker 1: I never you know, gospel is interesting.
- 15:14Speaker 2: Because it has a beat to it. And you know,
- 15:19Speaker 2: I would like to say.
- 15:19Speaker 1: My man, Kurt Franklin, who I believe you're going to
- 15:22Speaker 1: be be interviewed in the upcoming weeks here and Kurk
- 15:26Speaker 1: broke the mold because he started remixing a lot of
- 15:29Speaker 1: hotter R and B songs. Now I can't get get
- 15:33Speaker 1: married and Mary credit too, they way back.
- 15:36Speaker 4: Oh yeah, my feet come on, tackles.
- 15:39Speaker 2: On my feet now? But how did you come up
- 15:41Speaker 2: with this beat?
- 15:42Speaker 1: And why did you go in the gospel right route
- 15:46Speaker 1: immediately after you had such a hit song like like Water.
- 15:50Speaker 3: Well, you know, I've always believed that every challenge in
- 15:53Speaker 3: life carries a hidden blessing and my journey has been
- 15:56Speaker 3: no exception whatsoever. My first gospel song, Blessing was it
- 16:01Speaker 3: was born out of a d need to express gratitude
- 16:05Speaker 3: for the guidance and graces I've experienced. And it's just
- 16:10Speaker 3: even during my darkest moments, and I just felt compelled
- 16:13Speaker 3: to share that message, hoping to remind others that there's
- 16:15Speaker 3: always slight.
- 16:16Speaker 4: Hope and a reason to be thankful.
- 16:19Speaker 3: And this song right here is just the celebration of fate,
- 16:22Speaker 3: resilience and the unexpected gifts that life offers us every day.
- 16:26Speaker 4: It just it blesses me. When I listen to the song,
- 16:31Speaker 4: I get emotional.
- 16:32Speaker 3: On occasion, I get emotional, especially when it comes to
- 16:35Speaker 3: that second verse. That second verse, it came true from
- 16:40Speaker 3: my heart. And because people will let you down, but
- 16:44Speaker 3: God would never let you down. We may not understand things,
- 16:49Speaker 3: why things happen, don't understand why we cannot understand it.
- 16:56Speaker 3: This is and that's when hope and faith comes in
- 17:01Speaker 3: and words you got to tell yourself keep pushing, keep pushing,
- 17:05Speaker 3: and expect blessings. You can get up in the morning.
- 17:08Speaker 3: That means you got a new start, You got a
- 17:10Speaker 3: new chance to make the wrong right or make the
- 17:13Speaker 3: right right right, right right, just keep pushing and keep going.
- 17:17Speaker 3: And when it comes to blessing is a true love
- 17:19Speaker 3: letter to my creator that I am so thankful when
- 17:24Speaker 3: I'm saying I don't deserve this, I don't deserve this
- 17:26Speaker 3: all of the goodness, the way you have love for
- 17:29Speaker 3: me despite my history. It's like, so much is going
- 17:32Speaker 3: on in the world with so many people, and I'm untouched.
- 17:35Speaker 4: Why me?
- 17:37Speaker 1: Well, you know, here's here's the thing that I want
- 17:39Speaker 1: to make sure everybody understands about telling you know them. Okay,
- 17:42Speaker 1: because we're about to get to the record label and
- 17:45Speaker 1: you want to hear her talk fire. We about to
- 17:48Speaker 1: hear her talk fire because in the record business it's
- 17:51Speaker 1: dominated by men, and women are treated sometimes like just
- 17:56Speaker 1: video women. You know, you stood over there and be quiet.
- 18:00Speaker 1: We got some beat for you. Because that's how you
- 18:02Speaker 1: make your money. That's where you make your money. You
- 18:04Speaker 1: make your money and publishing, you make your money.
- 18:06Speaker 2: In these studios.
- 18:07Speaker 1: You get five percent, you produce it, you be ten
- 18:09Speaker 1: percent whatever your cut is on that song, and you
- 18:11Speaker 1: be making money forever.
- 18:13Speaker 2: Okay, you go.
- 18:13Speaker 1: That is as she said in bed Sleeping, making money,
- 18:18Speaker 1: talk about why it was important to get in that
- 18:20Speaker 1: side of the business with your record label and tell
- 18:23Speaker 1: everybody the name of your record label.
- 18:25Speaker 3: The name of my label is art Sessions, Art Sessions,
- 18:29Speaker 3: art s E S s IO n Z. And the
- 18:32Speaker 3: reason why I named it art session is because music
- 18:34Speaker 3: is an arts. Mean, when I'm in a studio behind
- 18:37Speaker 3: the mic, it's a session. So I just put it
- 18:39Speaker 3: together our sessions. Being in this industry, you know, and
- 18:44Speaker 3: being a woman amongst you know, men that's carrying a
- 18:49Speaker 3: load and a whole lot of power can be challenging
- 18:52Speaker 3: at times because they expect us at time to go
- 18:55Speaker 3: make a coffee and I'm quick to say I like
- 18:57Speaker 3: my black please, I'm going to say that, and they're
- 19:01Speaker 3: gonna be pissed off. Oh she wanted them once, And
- 19:04Speaker 3: then you be labeled as mean, difficult, okay, and in
- 19:07Speaker 3: challenging because it's certain things you're just not going to.
- 19:12Speaker 2: Accept.
- 19:13Speaker 3: So those are some of the challenging in yourself, in
- 19:16Speaker 3: itself and in the word getting around mad.
- 19:19Speaker 4: You know, A B, C, D and E. Now you're
- 19:21Speaker 4: not gonna be able to just get.
- 19:24Speaker 3: One for nets me in that way without me for
- 19:27Speaker 3: netsing you back. Honestly, if we're gonna play this game.
- 19:31Speaker 3: Because if we're gonna play this game, and I'm seeing
- 19:34Speaker 3: it as a game, I intend to win, right right,
- 19:37Speaker 3: Whether it's me.
- 19:40Speaker 4: In a sense.
- 19:43Speaker 3: Giving you what I think that you wanted, what you
- 19:45Speaker 3: want to hear, but remember you started playing this game,
- 19:50Speaker 3: so let me give you and say what you want
- 19:51Speaker 3: to hear. But at the end, you gonna see I
- 19:54Speaker 3: wasn't the one that was finess. It was you during
- 19:58Speaker 3: your downtime when you're reflecting that day and you're thinking
- 20:01Speaker 3: those of things.
- 20:02Speaker 2: Right, let me ask you this to you because it
- 20:04Speaker 2: goes back to relationships.
- 20:05Speaker 4: That's top body, will you if.
- 20:07Speaker 1: You want to overcome that level of ignorance, then you
- 20:10Speaker 1: need to establish relationships. And relationships is tied to respect,
- 20:14Speaker 1: and relationships is tied to people believe it in you.
- 20:17Speaker 2: Because of the talents that you bring to the table.
- 20:20Speaker 1: Now let's connect that in you have this group of
- 20:22Speaker 1: people over here only see you physically. Then you have
- 20:25Speaker 1: people over here respect you for your hard work, respect
- 20:28Speaker 1: you for your talents, respect you for the relationship and
- 20:31Speaker 1: the honesty that you bring to a relationship. To talk
- 20:35Speaker 1: to the young ladies who in this industry don't understand
- 20:39Speaker 1: that you've got to control your your brand in order to.
- 20:43Speaker 2: Have a future in this business. Floors yours turn.
- 20:45Speaker 4: That's right. You do have to control your brand, remain professional.
- 20:51Speaker 3: Refrain from using potty of you having a potty mouth,
- 20:55Speaker 3: because I do have one, okay, but refrain from using
- 20:58Speaker 3: it so they cannot say, oh MG, you being so
- 21:02Speaker 3: unprofessional because you use a curse word.
- 21:05Speaker 4: Don't don't even much give them that.
- 21:07Speaker 3: Stay professional, say lady like, stay true to who you
- 21:11Speaker 3: are and and still get your point across and know
- 21:16Speaker 3: how to just you know, if need be, block that
- 21:21Speaker 3: person from all your phones, if you need to block
- 21:25Speaker 3: the number, and if they call, call with call and
- 21:29Speaker 3: they get through anyways after that phone act as if
- 21:32Speaker 3: you did not hear them, to make a quick real click.
- 21:36Speaker 4: I'd rather you do that.
- 21:37Speaker 3: Then to lose your cal go off and tell a
- 21:43Speaker 3: person I'm just being.
- 21:44Speaker 4: Real with you.
- 21:45Speaker 3: When you know you ain't wrong yet, You ain't not
- 21:48Speaker 3: you have not reached that level of materity yet. When
- 21:51Speaker 3: you know these things about yourself, try other tactics. Okay,
- 21:55Speaker 3: because I've learned the hard way about pissing certain people off.
- 21:59Speaker 3: You know what I mean, ma'am you know they can
- 22:02Speaker 3: make things, not saying that they can stop your blessings,
- 22:05Speaker 3: but they can slow it down the tag bit. You
- 22:07Speaker 3: probably still gonna get that blessing, but they can slow
- 22:10Speaker 3: it down a tag bit. So control yourself, stay true
- 22:15Speaker 3: to yourself, remain professional, and always plan your next move.
- 22:20Speaker 3: If it's not work this time does not mean it's
- 22:22Speaker 3: not gonna work the next time. And when people come
- 22:24Speaker 3: to you and talking about girl, that's impossible, you ain't
- 22:26Speaker 3: gonna be aby to do that.
- 22:28Speaker 4: They don't do that. These these that's not you breaking
- 22:32Speaker 4: the rules. That's not how this go It goes this way. No,
- 22:37Speaker 4: if you got the thought.
- 22:39Speaker 3: And you want to try this and this is on
- 22:41Speaker 3: your own dime, don't let them people tell you what
- 22:44Speaker 3: should be, how it's been doing, and how it goes,
- 22:47Speaker 3: try it, try it and keep it pushing, and if
- 22:52Speaker 3: it don't work, try something else.
- 22:54Speaker 1: Because of the fact that the dynamics of being an individual,
- 22:57Speaker 1: because fear runs this world. Fear of I'm not gonna
- 23:02Speaker 1: get another chance, fear that I'm too old, fear that
- 23:07Speaker 1: the people think I'm rude. And I always tell people
- 23:11Speaker 1: you cannot be rude if you're just trying to pursue
- 23:13Speaker 1: your dream. If somebody blocking you, then guess what if
- 23:17Speaker 1: you ask them to get out the way. Sometimes you
- 23:19Speaker 1: gotta like nudge them out the way because they will
- 23:22Speaker 1: keep blocking and keep blocking and keep blocking, and they
- 23:25Speaker 1: will push back on you even though you're trying to
- 23:28Speaker 1: pursue your dream, even though they telling you they trying
- 23:31Speaker 1: to provide you with the opportunity. And so I myself
- 23:35Speaker 1: Rashean McDonald, I met tellya know in a basic interview
- 23:39Speaker 1: and thought and feel she is the world to me.
- 23:42Speaker 1: I'm the same Rasean McDonald, just reading the resume. Just
- 23:45Speaker 1: look just google me. When I heard her song on
- 23:48Speaker 1: the radio like Water, I screamed like I had never
- 23:51Speaker 1: heard the song in my life because I know how
- 23:53Speaker 1: special she is, how special she is, what a fighter
- 23:58Speaker 1: she is, and that's import So that's why I came
- 24:01Speaker 1: on this interview talking about the fact that you know why,
- 24:05Speaker 1: talking about her daycare centers, talking about now her record company,
- 24:11Speaker 1: talking about her upcoming next hits, lessons. That's what this
- 24:18Speaker 1: is all about. Why do you feel or what do
- 24:21Speaker 1: you feel the next steps are for you?
- 24:23Speaker 2: In twenty twenty.
- 24:24Speaker 4: Five, oh.
- 24:28Speaker 3: Man, more and more and more, Sky's the limit is
- 24:33Speaker 3: just it's so much in me and that the opportunities
- 24:39Speaker 3: are coming and what I continuously do when I see
- 24:44Speaker 3: my colleagues, my peers, that's doing very very well. I
- 24:50Speaker 3: here with them, Like when you you gave me some
- 24:53Speaker 3: good news recently, mister McDonald recently, and I was so.
- 25:00Speaker 4: Happy for you.
- 25:00Speaker 3: I was, I was, I was, I was floored because
- 25:03Speaker 3: I'm like man one of us again. It's pressing through,
- 25:08Speaker 3: it's going upward, and it just made me smile and
- 25:13Speaker 3: it also inspired me. I'm like, he's doing things that
- 25:17Speaker 3: he's checking off his his to do list, his to
- 25:21Speaker 3: do list, and it's like I'm doing the same thing.
- 25:25Speaker 3: I don't know, but Sean, once I reach these goals,
- 25:28Speaker 3: and I do have some, I have quite a bit.
- 25:31Speaker 3: I have a lot of big ones and I have
- 25:33Speaker 3: a lot of small ones, combination of boats, which is great.
- 25:37Speaker 3: It's always gonna be what's the next. But I get
- 25:40Speaker 3: to get to say what's next and get to do
- 25:42Speaker 3: whatever it's next as long as I wake up.
- 25:45Speaker 4: The next morning.
- 25:46Speaker 3: I'm gonna say this again, it needs to always be
- 25:50Speaker 3: after you accomplished a gold what's next, what's next?
- 25:55Speaker 4: Get to sleep, and then it's what's next?
- 25:59Speaker 2: Love it?
- 26:00Speaker 3: I create things all the time, and I have to
- 26:02Speaker 3: be careful on who I share it. But because from
- 26:07Speaker 3: my understanding, if I had that thought of that, that
- 26:11Speaker 3: dream is planned in my head, somebody else got it too.
- 26:13Speaker 4: Who's gonna act on it first? Who's gonna act on
- 26:16Speaker 4: it first? It needs to be me? So it's the
- 26:19Speaker 4: only one me.
- 26:21Speaker 3: So it's like I've been trying to find people and
- 26:24Speaker 3: I've been I've asked for this.
- 26:26Speaker 4: I've asked God for this, to put people in my.
- 26:28Speaker 3: Life that are way smarter than me, because I want
- 26:31Speaker 3: to learn from them. But the individuals that in my
- 26:33Speaker 3: life that are way smarter than me, I want to
- 26:35Speaker 3: be able to give too, because we all are being
- 26:37Speaker 3: used in some kind of way. Everybody. If you can't
- 26:40Speaker 3: be used, then you are useless for real. I mean,
- 26:46Speaker 3: so that's how I say it. I'm even being used.
- 26:50Speaker 3: But let you use me in a disrespectful way, and hey,
- 26:55Speaker 3: don't don't Hey, don't.
- 26:58Speaker 4: With it either.
- 26:59Speaker 3: Let me know what plans say. Hey, Hey Tanya, I
- 27:02Speaker 3: need to pick your brain.
- 27:03Speaker 4: Hey I need to know how you did this A
- 27:06Speaker 4: B DC, ABC D and E.
- 27:08Speaker 3: I have more respect for you in that way because
- 27:10Speaker 3: you came to me real and real. So it's like
- 27:13Speaker 3: I get to make that decision if I want to
- 27:15Speaker 3: do that or not. And if I make the decision
- 27:17Speaker 3: to help you, trust and believe me, you're going to
- 27:20Speaker 3: excel because God has put people in my life, women,
- 27:25Speaker 3: young women aside, whereas I know, I'm meant to mentor them,
- 27:29Speaker 3: but it's only won me. So once again, early on
- 27:31Speaker 3: in the conversation, when I say I may give somebody
- 27:33Speaker 3: two minutes, somebody fifteen minutes, somebody thirty, somebody maybe an hour,
- 27:37Speaker 3: depends on what we're talking about. But when it comes
- 27:39Speaker 3: to these young ladies, I do give them my time,
- 27:42Speaker 3: but guess what is scheduled and they look forward to it.
- 27:45Speaker 3: And if they missed that schedule, they better give me
- 27:47Speaker 3: a good, good excuse my languagee.
- 27:50Speaker 4: A great excuse, And let me say this real fast.
- 27:53Speaker 4: I would say this.
- 27:54Speaker 3: It's like one of them told me they grandmother died twice.
- 27:58Speaker 3: The same lady she forgot about the damn lie. Now
- 28:03Speaker 3: I just told her so many time. Hey, if you
- 28:05Speaker 3: gonna lie, the lie needs matter, right, the lie better matter.
- 28:11Speaker 4: That lie didn't matter.
- 28:12Speaker 3: None of you lie two times about this grandmother. So
- 28:14Speaker 3: I came into her no more.
- 28:16Speaker 1: Absolutely, that's yo, Tyya Noland like water her new hit
- 28:20Speaker 1: song Blessings. A true entrepreneur, a true pioneer, a true
- 28:25Speaker 1: believer and opportunity. Like she said, I always tell people
- 28:28Speaker 1: that too. There are twenty four hours of the day.
- 28:31Speaker 1: I learned how to use each hour and she had
- 28:34Speaker 1: the exact same model.
