Transcript
- 0:01Speaker 1: Welcome.
- 0:01Speaker 2: It is Verdict with Ted Cruz week in Review, Ben
- 0:04Speaker 2: Ferguson with you, and these are the big stories that
- 0:07Speaker 2: you may have missed that we talked about earlier this week,
- 0:09Speaker 2: and Miomi, was it a big week? First up, Kamala
- 0:13Speaker 2: Harris caught between a rock and a hard place. She
- 0:15Speaker 2: has to be anti Israel but also meet with Netnaho.
- 0:19Speaker 2: So what did she do? She nos showed for the
- 0:21Speaker 2: most important part of Netanyahu's trip.
- 0:24Speaker 3: Will break that down for you.
- 0:26Speaker 2: Also, the media now going into we love Kamala face.
- 0:30Speaker 2: It's in kind donation to her campaign and it could
- 0:33Speaker 2: be worth billions of dollars between now and even the convention.
- 0:38Speaker 2: How's that going to play out and how much of
- 0:40Speaker 2: an impact will it have on the race? Will break
- 0:42Speaker 2: that down for you. And finally, the Secret Service. They
- 0:45Speaker 2: were undermanned at the Trump rally. We now know more
- 0:49Speaker 2: than we knew before about what went wrong in the
- 0:52Speaker 2: days and weeks leading up to it. It's the weekend
- 0:56Speaker 2: review and it starts right now. There was a very
- 1:00Speaker 2: significant moment that happened and it was missed by Kamwa
- 1:04Speaker 2: Harris on purpose, and that was Netan Yahoo coming to
- 1:07Speaker 2: the US. Now she won't miss if Zelenski shows up,
- 1:10Speaker 2: But by golly, she's gonna make a real point that
- 1:13Speaker 2: I'm not with Israel when he comes to address Congress.
- 1:17Speaker 2: You were there, and you spent some real quality time
- 1:20Speaker 2: with BB as well.
- 1:22Speaker 4: Well, that's right.
- 1:23Speaker 5: So yesterday afternoon, Prime Minister Netnyah, who addressed a joint
- 1:27Speaker 5: session of Congress, I was there. I was sitting in
- 1:29Speaker 5: the front row listening to the speech. I've heard net
- 1:31Speaker 5: Yahoo many times, I know him well. It was an
- 1:35Speaker 5: extraordinary speech. I believe it was an historic speech. It
- 1:39Speaker 5: had a sense of gravity, a sense of history. Israel
- 1:45Speaker 5: is facing an existential threat right now. And the adjective
- 1:50Speaker 5: I used after the speech for BB's speech was that
- 1:54Speaker 5: it was Churchillian, and that is not an adjective I
- 1:57Speaker 5: used for any address by any other world leader. Because
- 2:00Speaker 5: it had the same sense of clarity and history and
- 2:04Speaker 5: seriousness of purpose that Winston Churchill brought to rally the
- 2:10Speaker 5: world to defeat the Nazis and win World War II.
- 2:13Speaker 5: I am very grateful for Prime Minister Netnahu's speech.
- 2:18Speaker 4: I think it was serious.
- 2:19Speaker 5: It laid out the evil of Hamas, it laid out
- 2:22Speaker 5: the seriousness of their purpose to utterly eliminate hamas it
- 2:26Speaker 5: addressed many of the lies that Democrats and the corporate
- 2:30Speaker 5: media and the leftist influencers on TikTok and social media
- 2:35Speaker 5: are pushing to young people. He addressed them very directly,
- 2:37Speaker 5: the lies that are being told. And it was significant,
- 2:40Speaker 5: But I got to say at the same time, it
- 2:42Speaker 5: was sad the number of Democrats who boycotted the speech.
- 2:46Speaker 5: We saw dozens and dozens of House members that refused
- 2:49Speaker 5: to attend. You saw dozens of Senate Democrats who refused
- 2:53Speaker 5: to attend, And the most high profile person who boycotted
- 2:56Speaker 5: the speech was Kamala Harris. Now, typically when Ahead of
- 3:00Speaker 5: State addresses a joint session of Congress, the Speaker of
- 3:03Speaker 5: the House and the Vice President are both sitting directly
- 3:05Speaker 5: behind him. In this instance, Kamala refused to attend. And
- 3:09Speaker 5: she's not just the vice president right now, she is
- 3:13Speaker 5: the presumptive Democrat nominee for president. And understand, the Democrat
- 3:19Speaker 5: Party has gotten so radical today that many of them,
- 3:22Speaker 5: including the likely Democrat nominee for president, they are unwilling
- 3:28Speaker 5: even to listen to even to hear what the democratically
- 3:33Speaker 5: elected leader of Israel has to say. I thought it
- 3:35Speaker 5: was disgraceful that she boycotted the speech. And I'll tell
- 3:38Speaker 5: you during the speech, so I was sitting with a
- 3:42Speaker 5: bunch of Republican senators. I told him right when it began,
- 3:45Speaker 5: I said, listen, in honor of Richard Simmons recently passing away,
- 3:50Speaker 5: get ready to do some aerobics, because we were going
- 3:53Speaker 5: to be standing and standing and standing. I think the
- 3:55Speaker 5: count was we gave Ntnyahu fifty seven standing ovations. Now,
- 4:00Speaker 5: you know, it's interesting those were almost exclusively on the
- 4:04Speaker 5: Republican side of the isle and the Democrat side of
- 4:07Speaker 5: the aisle. Most of the Democrats refused to stand when
- 4:12Speaker 5: Netna who walked onto the floor, Chuck Schumer refused to
- 4:16Speaker 5: shake his hand and kind of turned his back on him.
- 4:19Speaker 5: I mean, it was I've never seen anything like it,
- 4:22Speaker 5: that the contempt that there were several senators Chris Murphy
- 4:26Speaker 5: and Raphael Warnock were sitting near the front. They spent
- 4:30Speaker 5: almost the entire speech sitting there with scowls on their face.
- 4:35Speaker 5: They wouldn't applaud, they wouldn't stand up. Even when Netanyaho
- 4:39Speaker 5: said things like we need to stand united against anti Semitism.
- 4:44Speaker 5: The two of them sat there scowling and could not
- 4:47Speaker 5: stand to stand against anti Semitism. It is a manifestation
- 4:51Speaker 5: of just how much the pro Haamas anti Semitic faction
- 4:56Speaker 5: of the Democrat Party has the rest of the party terrified.
- 5:00Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, Sentaer, you look at what Bibe actually
- 5:03Speaker 2: said on the floor, and it was not radical, it
- 5:08Speaker 2: was not extreme.
- 5:10Speaker 3: It actually made a lot of sense.
- 5:12Speaker 2: And for them not to stand when he talks about Hamas,
- 5:17Speaker 2: when he talks about good and evil, was shocking.
- 5:19Speaker 3: But here's one of the things that he said.
- 5:21Speaker 6: My friends, defeating our brutal enemies requires both courage and clarity.
- 5:28Speaker 6: Clarity begins by knowing the difference between good and evil.
- 5:34Speaker 6: Yet incredibly many anti Israel protesters, many choose to stand
- 5:41Speaker 6: with evil. They stand with Hamas, They stand with rapists
- 5:46Speaker 6: and murders. They stand with people who came into the kibusim,
- 5:51Speaker 6: into a home. The parents hid the children, the two
- 5:55Speaker 6: babies in the attic, in a secret attic. They murder
- 5:59Speaker 6: the families, the parents, they find the secret latch to
- 6:03Speaker 6: the hyden atic and then they murder the babies. These
- 6:07Speaker 6: processors stand with them. They should be ashamed of themselves.
- 6:16Speaker 2: I mean, I'm watching this as a video as it's
- 6:18Speaker 2: playing center.
- 6:20Speaker 5: And course the Democrats sat down, refused to applaud, they
- 6:24Speaker 5: did not cheer, that we should stand against radical racist
- 6:29Speaker 5: baby killers.
- 6:31Speaker 2: He also who also slammed the protesters another example of
- 6:36Speaker 2: the radical Democrats and how they're in favor of those
- 6:40Speaker 2: that support Hamas and Hezbla an actual. I mean, these
- 6:43Speaker 2: are terrorist organizations that butchered Jews for sport and are
- 6:48Speaker 2: calling for the annihilation of every Jewish person from the
- 6:52Speaker 2: river to the sea. And he talked about that, and
- 6:54Speaker 2: yet again, yet again, Democrats set the anti.
- 7:00Speaker 6: Protests that are going on right now outside this building,
- 7:04Speaker 6: not that many, but they're there and throughout the city. Well,
- 7:08Speaker 6: I have a message for these protesters. When the tyrants
- 7:12Speaker 6: of Tehran who hang gazs from cranes and murder women
- 7:16Speaker 6: for not covering their hair are praising, promoting and funding you,
- 7:20Speaker 6: you have officially become Iran's useful idiots.
- 7:49Speaker 2: Some of these protesters, how do you not stand and
- 7:53Speaker 2: clap when you're talking about these radicals.
- 7:56Speaker 3: But then I.
- 7:56Speaker 5: Realized so many Democrats were scowling, they were angry when
- 8:02Speaker 5: he said that they were not only sitting, they had
- 8:05Speaker 5: their arms crossed and they were furious. And understand, while
- 8:08Speaker 5: this is happening, thousands of anti Semitic radicals were protesting
- 8:13Speaker 5: in Washington, DC. Hundreds of them descended on Union Station,
- 8:17Speaker 5: the train station just a couple of blocks north of
- 8:20Speaker 5: the Capitol. At Union Station, they pulled down the American
- 8:25Speaker 5: flag on the flagpole outside Union Station. They pulled it
- 8:28Speaker 5: to the ground and they burned it. When they pulled
- 8:30Speaker 5: it to the ground, the crowd of protesters cheered. They
- 8:34Speaker 5: then hauled up the flagpole a Palestinian flag. Now let
- 8:40Speaker 5: me say two things on this. Number One, I am
- 8:44Speaker 5: not saying that Kamala Harris was at Union Station pulling
- 8:49Speaker 5: down the American flag, lighting it on fire, and pulling
- 8:52Speaker 5: up a Palestinian flag on the flagpole. But understand that
- 8:57Speaker 5: she has far greater sympathies for the radicals who did
- 9:00Speaker 5: that than she does for Prime Minister net and Yahoo,
- 9:04Speaker 5: the elected.
- 9:05Speaker 4: Leader of Israel.
- 9:06Speaker 5: There's a reason she boycotted because she and the Democrats
- 9:10Speaker 5: they want the votes of these anti American anti Semites. Secondly,
- 9:17Speaker 5: why was this allowed to happen. It was allowed to
- 9:19Speaker 5: happen because the Democrat mayor in d C let it
- 9:23Speaker 5: happen because we didn't see law enforcement. If this happened
- 9:27Speaker 5: in Texas, if you tried to do that in Texas,
- 9:29Speaker 5: you know what they'd do. They'd arrest you and put
- 9:31Speaker 5: you in jail. The Democrats in office, they are siding
- 9:35Speaker 5: with the protesters and they hate Prime Minister det and
- 9:38Speaker 5: Yahoo and sadly many of them hate Israel just as
- 9:41Speaker 5: much as these rabbid process.
- 9:44Speaker 2: There's also the left that's behind it. You know, these
- 9:47Speaker 2: agitators were being seen being dropped off by buses before the.
- 9:51Speaker 4: Pro A lot of them are paid.
- 9:53Speaker 2: Yeah, I was gonna say who paid for them? Right,
- 9:56Speaker 2: That's a fair question that should be asked, like who
- 9:58Speaker 2: was paying for all these peoples show up there? It's
- 10:01Speaker 2: the radical laughs, I'm sure in the Democratic Party.
- 10:04Speaker 3: But this is the base.
- 10:05Speaker 2: And for Kamala Harris to not be there when Natanyahu
- 10:10Speaker 2: arrived tells you how anti Israel they are, how much
- 10:15Speaker 2: they just and I will say that and the Jews.
- 10:17Speaker 4: Joe Biden has.
- 10:19Speaker 5: Been the most anti Israel president in American history. But
- 10:25Speaker 5: if God forbid, Kamala Harris becomes president, she will be
- 10:28Speaker 5: orders of magnitude worse. And by the way, it's striking also,
- 10:31Speaker 5: So we'll we'll do another pod and we'll talk about
- 10:34Speaker 5: possible VP nominees under Harris. I think it's going to
- 10:38Speaker 5: be the most boring white guy on the face of
- 10:40Speaker 5: the planet. I think the two most likely, which we've
- 10:43Speaker 5: talked about, are Josh Shapiro, the governor of Pennsylvania, and
- 10:47Speaker 5: Mark Kelly, Senator from Arizona. But it's interesting this week CNN,
- 10:52Speaker 5: in covering the VP's sweepstakes, they just, matter of fact,
- 10:57Speaker 5: John King just matter of fact said, well, Shapiro has
- 10:59Speaker 5: a pro which is he's Jewish. In the Democrat primary,
- 11:03Speaker 5: then in the Democrat Party, that's a real problem. And
- 11:06Speaker 5: CNN just reports that as a fact that there are
- 11:09Speaker 5: so many anti Semites among the Democrat Party that that
- 11:13Speaker 5: being a Jew is a real problem if you were
- 11:15Speaker 5: the Democrat nominee, that that is sad.
- 11:18Speaker 2: Now, if you want to hear the rest of this conversation,
- 11:21Speaker 2: you can go back and listen to the full podcast
- 11:23Speaker 2: from earlier this week.
- 11:26Speaker 3: Now onto story number two.
- 11:28Speaker 2: All right, let's talk about the media, because what we're
- 11:31Speaker 2: going to see right now, and this is my biggest concern.
- 11:34Speaker 2: You and I talked about this in Milwaukee. If Biden
- 11:37Speaker 2: dropped out. Now it's Biden has dropped out. It's a
- 11:40Speaker 2: complete reset, Yes, of this presidential campaign. The polls, and
- 11:45Speaker 2: I want to be very clear to our audience this
- 11:47Speaker 2: is my opinion.
- 11:48Speaker 1: I don't know if you agree with me or not.
- 11:49Speaker 2: I want to know your take on it are completely
- 11:51Speaker 2: meaningless and worthless right now.
- 11:53Speaker 4: Correct.
- 11:53Speaker 2: The only poll that's going to matter is the first
- 11:55Speaker 2: poll after we find out who the Democrats actually pounds seven.
- 12:00Speaker 5: That poll's not going to matter. And and listen, this
- 12:03Speaker 5: is something you and I talked about in our last podcast.
- 12:06Speaker 5: We did two podcasts live from the convention. I love
- 12:10Speaker 5: the convention. It was a blast. It's the best Republican convention.
- 12:13Speaker 5: I've ever seen, more unity than I've ever seen. However,
- 12:18Speaker 5: I was very worried at the convention, and I expressed
- 12:20Speaker 5: this to you at the time, which is I am
- 12:24Speaker 5: afraid people were over confident.
- 12:25Speaker 4: At the convention.
- 12:26Speaker 5: That there was an air of celebration. It was we've won,
- 12:31Speaker 5: We're on to victory. This is a landslide. Trump's coming
- 12:34Speaker 5: back in. We've got a huge Republican majority.
- 12:36Speaker 4: He heard people talking about it.
- 12:38Speaker 5: Fifty five to fifty six Republican senators, huge Republican house,
- 12:42Speaker 5: like people were planning. People were talking about, all right,
- 12:45Speaker 5: who's gonna be Secretary of State, who's gonna be Secretary
- 12:47Speaker 5: of Defense?
- 12:47Speaker 4: Like they're handing.
- 12:48Speaker 2: Already moved on. Yeah, we wanted now what's next? And
- 12:51Speaker 2: that's not the case.
- 12:52Speaker 5: And my view, and I was trying to say this is, Look,
- 12:55Speaker 5: there's a time for celebration, celebrate after election day, celebrate
- 12:59Speaker 5: after we've won. Now is not the time for celebration.
- 13:02Speaker 5: Now's the time for hard work. Now's the time for
- 13:04Speaker 5: rolling up your sleeves and going to win. And my
- 13:07Speaker 5: assumption is coming out of the convention, Republicans will get
- 13:11Speaker 5: a little bounce. You know, historically it's about four points,
- 13:13Speaker 5: is what you get out of your convention. I think
- 13:15Speaker 5: it was a strong convention. So let's assume that happens.
- 13:19Speaker 5: The Democrats, and I will give them credit for one thing.
- 13:21Speaker 5: They're timing of releasing it right after the convention. Perfect
- 13:25Speaker 5: timing to do this, because it resets the whole race.
- 13:29Speaker 5: It almost doesn't matter what the bounce was out of
- 13:32Speaker 5: the convention. And here's the problem. For the next month,
- 13:37Speaker 5: all of the news is going to be dominated by
- 13:40Speaker 5: who the Democrat is going to be. The Democrats are
- 13:42Speaker 5: about to have a month long convention instead of a week.
- 13:46Speaker 5: Why do you get a bounce out of convention. You
- 13:47Speaker 5: get a bounce out of convention because you have four
- 13:49Speaker 5: days of driving the news, the earn media, every night
- 13:52Speaker 5: of your people on TV pitching all of the benefits
- 13:56Speaker 5: of your nominee, all the benefits of your record, all
- 13:58Speaker 5: the benefits of your agenda. Instead of a four day convention,
- 14:01Speaker 5: the Democrats are about to have a month long convention
- 14:04Speaker 5: where every news story will be focused on who the
- 14:07Speaker 5: nominee is gonna be. And they're also going to be
- 14:09Speaker 5: doing a combination of number one praising Biden. You know,
- 14:13Speaker 5: it's not graceful to he's on his way out. People
- 14:17Speaker 5: don't want to criticize him anymore.
- 14:18Speaker 1: We're going to this for America.
- 14:20Speaker 4: He's historic, He's.
- 14:21Speaker 5: One of the greatest presidents the history of the universe.
- 14:23Speaker 5: I mean, you're gonna hear all of that effusively, and
- 14:27Speaker 5: then they're going to talk about what an historic president
- 14:29Speaker 5: Kamala Harris would be.
- 14:31Speaker 4: And it's going to be a month long. We're going
- 14:34Speaker 4: to see.
- 14:35Speaker 2: Multi I would argue multi billion dollar in kind contribution.
- 14:39Speaker 5: And by the way, Republicans, I worry vastly underestimate Kamala
- 14:45Speaker 5: Harris that they don't think very highly of her. They
- 14:47Speaker 5: don't think she's terribly bright. When you or I bring
- 14:50Speaker 5: up Kamala Harris's name in Republican circles, people laugh.
- 14:54Speaker 4: It's immediately a punchline.
- 14:56Speaker 5: I think people are underestimating what billions of dollars of
- 15:00Speaker 5: free media, of the entire corrupt corporate media complex. Pitching
- 15:05Speaker 5: her as a combination of Mother Teresa, Oprah and Gandhi, I.
- 15:11Speaker 1: Mean, and save the party. It's gonna be.
- 15:13Speaker 5: And young and vibrant, and it's historic. I mean it
- 15:18Speaker 5: is going to be now. I still think Trump wins
- 15:21Speaker 5: in November. But this is not a layup. It is
- 15:25Speaker 5: not given in what's coming in front of us. Look,
- 15:28Speaker 5: if you're a Democrat, what makes you nervous is chaos,
- 15:30Speaker 5: And this much chaos one hundred days out is scary.
- 15:34Speaker 5: But you know what even more scary is going to
- 15:37Speaker 5: an election where you're almost certain to lose, which is
- 15:39Speaker 5: where Biden was. So from their perspective, chaos and a
- 15:43Speaker 5: chance to win or certain loss, they'll take chaos. But
- 15:47Speaker 5: Republicans need to understand just how dangerous this is.
- 15:50Speaker 1: It's all perspective in life. And I said this earlier.
- 15:52Speaker 2: It's like you're on the greatest cruise ship in the
- 15:54Speaker 2: world and that cruise ship's going down and a crappy
- 15:57Speaker 2: little fishing boat shows up and it saves your life.
- 16:00Speaker 2: You love that crappy fishing boat the rest of your life.
- 16:02Speaker 2: It doesn't matter how bad it looks, how ugly it was.
- 16:05Speaker 2: You just got your life saved. And that's Kamala Harris,
- 16:08Speaker 2: like not a good can.
- 16:10Speaker 5: That you do not have a career as a Democrat
- 16:12Speaker 5: politics ad maker. I can see now, Kamala Harris, to
- 16:17Speaker 5: save your life.
- 16:18Speaker 2: To save your life. But it's perspective. I mean, that's
- 16:21Speaker 2: what they're dealing with. I know, right, But she didn't
- 16:23Speaker 2: even make it. I mean, I go back to when
- 16:25Speaker 2: she was running.
- 16:26Speaker 4: She got zero delegates, correct, and she.
- 16:28Speaker 1: Was a terrible candid.
- 16:29Speaker 2: But when you're now in the position of that boat
- 16:32Speaker 2: sinking and I'm the only one that's got doesn't have
- 16:34Speaker 2: a hole in the boat, I'm pretty I'm pretty appealing
- 16:38Speaker 2: to everybody on that boat. And I love you, and
- 16:40Speaker 2: I'm willing to swim to you, and I'm willing to
- 16:42Speaker 2: hug you and kiss you and say thank you for
- 16:44Speaker 2: saving my life.
- 16:45Speaker 1: It's all perspective. And that's what the media is going to.
- 16:48Speaker 2: Do to her is say she just saved us from
- 16:51Speaker 2: guaranteed defate defeat. She is a savior to the Democratic Party.
- 16:55Speaker 2: We love her, and they're all going to be energized.
- 16:58Speaker 2: That terrifies me.
- 17:00Speaker 5: Energized, and once she's the nominee unified. You know, one
- 17:05Speaker 5: thing to keep in mind. People are focused on, oh, money,
- 17:08Speaker 5: and Trump has a money advantage. Put yourself in the
- 17:11Speaker 5: mindset of a Democrat gazillionaire, of a Democrat activist, of
- 17:16Speaker 5: a Democrat union boss, of a Democrat special interest leader.
- 17:21Speaker 4: A week ago, you were.
- 17:23Speaker 5: Depressed, you were demoralizing, you were contemplating America run by Hitler.
- 17:28Speaker 5: And by the way, if you're one of those people
- 17:30Speaker 5: you think Donald Trump is Adolf Hitler. Yeah, but look
- 17:33Speaker 5: like you were just I don't even know if I
- 17:34Speaker 5: want to show up and vote.
- 17:35Speaker 4: It's terrible, it's horrible.
- 17:37Speaker 5: And now to go back to the sinking cruise ship,
- 17:40Speaker 5: you've been thrown a lifeline. I think we're going to
- 17:44Speaker 5: see jubilation on the Democrat side. That's dangerous too, you know, jubilation. Yeah,
- 17:50Speaker 5: what happens is donors pull out their checks and they
- 17:52Speaker 5: write really big checks when they're massive. What happens is
- 17:55Speaker 5: activists go and they work harder, they turn more people out.
- 17:58Speaker 5: And that particularly if the Republicans are over confident, we
- 18:03Speaker 5: cannot be overconfident. That combination is dangerous. And you know
- 18:07Speaker 5: what it reminds me of, potentially, I hope this is
- 18:10Speaker 5: not right, but it reminds me of a few years
- 18:12Speaker 5: ago the A and M versus Alabama game. I was
- 18:15Speaker 5: there at the A and M versus Alabama game. Alabama
- 18:17Speaker 5: at the time was the number one team in the country.
- 18:19Speaker 5: You have me at sports analogy. I'm all in now.
- 18:21Speaker 4: A and M.
- 18:22Speaker 5: A and M had started off as a top twenty
- 18:24Speaker 5: five team and had a good team, but it had
- 18:26Speaker 5: lost two games in a row. Yep, two opponents that
- 18:29Speaker 5: weren't wasn't supposed to lose. I think maybe Mississippi State.
- 18:32Speaker 1: Yeah, it was bad.
- 18:33Speaker 4: It was bad.
- 18:34Speaker 5: And so we came into the game and I was
- 18:36Speaker 5: there in college station, and I remember saying to my
- 18:39Speaker 5: buddies I was at the game with, I said, you
- 18:41Speaker 5: know what, I think A and M has a real
- 18:43Speaker 5: chance to win this game, because I think Alabama's feeling
- 18:47Speaker 5: like we're the number one team in the country and
- 18:49Speaker 5: these A and M guys suck. Look at look they're
- 18:51Speaker 5: losing to teams that are not contenders. This is easy.
- 18:55Speaker 5: We're playing a junior high team. And I think the
- 18:58Speaker 5: Aggies were pissed off of they were at Kyle Field
- 19:01Speaker 5: and they were defending their home and they were mad
- 19:03Speaker 5: because everyone was dismissing them as a joke and they're like,
- 19:05Speaker 5: wait a second, We're a top tier football team. And
- 19:09Speaker 5: they ended up winning that game. It was awesome. Forty
- 19:13Speaker 5: one thirty eight was the final score. Kyle Field erupted.
- 19:17Speaker 5: I don't want to see the Democrats playing the role
- 19:20Speaker 5: of A and M in that dynamic. And so my
- 19:22Speaker 5: message to Republicans is do not behave like this is
- 19:26Speaker 5: in the bag, because that's one of the easiest ways
- 19:28Speaker 5: to ensure it's not in the bag.
- 19:30Speaker 3: Center.
- 19:31Speaker 2: If you are Donald Trump, you now know that Biden
- 19:36Speaker 2: is gone. The number one question that the campaign's got
- 19:39Speaker 2: to ask is how do you campaign against somebody for
- 19:43Speaker 2: the next month that you don't know who it's gonna be.
- 19:46Speaker 5: So look, i'd say forty percent you campaign against Kamala Harris,
- 19:49Speaker 5: you assume it's Kamala and sixty percent you campaign against
- 19:52Speaker 5: the Democrats record. And I will say I've been concerned
- 19:56Speaker 5: in recent weeks and months that we've spent too much
- 19:59Speaker 5: time attacking Joe Biden for his mental diminishment and not
- 20:04Speaker 5: enough time making the case as you and I often do,
- 20:08Speaker 5: that the Biden Harris Democrat record has been a train wreck.
- 20:11Speaker 5: And I say Democrat record because it's not just Joe Biden,
- 20:13Speaker 5: it's Kamala Harris, and it's every single Democrat in Congress,
- 20:16Speaker 5: every Democrat senator, every Democrat House member. They voted repeatedly
- 20:20Speaker 5: in favor of the spending and the debt that is
- 20:22Speaker 5: causing inflation. They voted repeatedly in favor of Biden's war
- 20:25Speaker 5: on oil and gas and energy that is causing energy
- 20:28Speaker 5: prices to skyrocket. They voted repeatedly in favor of open
- 20:31Speaker 5: borders that's endangering our families across this country. They voted
- 20:34Speaker 5: repeatedly in favor of letting violent criminals out of jail,
- 20:37Speaker 5: that is again endangering our families. They voted repeatedly in
- 20:41Speaker 5: favor of appeasing our enemies and undermining our allies, and
- 20:46Speaker 5: so from the Trump's campaign, I would assume it's Kamala,
- 20:50Speaker 5: but also make the broader point it is their agenda
- 20:53Speaker 5: that has failed the American people. The classic question in
- 20:56Speaker 5: any election, are you better off now than you were
- 20:58Speaker 5: four years ago? It doesn't matter what fill in the
- 21:01Speaker 5: blank democrat they drop into that slot, They're going to
- 21:05Speaker 5: be defending the same disastrous, failed record. And so I
- 21:09Speaker 5: hope the Trump campaign and I hope Republicans generally make
- 21:13Speaker 5: that case substantively on the merits.
- 21:16Speaker 2: It's gonna be interesting. We're gonna cover it all. Make
- 21:19Speaker 2: sure you share this podcast with your family and friends.
- 21:22Speaker 2: Share the video on social media from YouTube. It's also
- 21:26Speaker 2: up on Facebook. You can share it there as well,
- 21:28Speaker 2: so that you can have other people hear what we
- 21:31Speaker 2: were saying here today. When this type of news breaks,
- 21:34Speaker 2: we do a podcast as fast as we can at
- 21:37Speaker 2: Emergency Pod.
- 21:38Speaker 5: Yes, let me make a final statement like this, I'm
- 21:40Speaker 5: going to place the odds that Joe Biden pardons Hunter
- 21:45Speaker 5: Biden at one hundred point zero percent. Hunter Biden will
- 21:51Speaker 5: get a pardon as a result of this decision today
- 21:54Speaker 5: will not happen till after election day.
- 21:56Speaker 1: That's what I was gonna ask, when's the He's not.
- 21:57Speaker 4: Gonna do it.
- 21:58Speaker 5: He's not gonna do it before election day, but he's
- 22:00Speaker 5: going to stick around and after election day. I believe
- 22:03Speaker 5: it is now one hundred percent that Joe Biden will
- 22:05Speaker 5: pardon Hunter as before.
- 22:07Speaker 2: If you want to hear the rest of this conversation
- 22:10Speaker 2: on this topic, you can go back and dow the
- 22:12Speaker 2: podcast from earlier this week to hear the entire thing.
- 22:16Speaker 2: I want to get back to the big story number
- 22:18Speaker 2: three of the week you may have missed. You talk
- 22:21Speaker 2: about just the bureaucratic bs whether or and this reminds
- 22:26Speaker 2: me of what happened in our pull out in Afghanistan
- 22:28Speaker 2: at the airport that cost American soldiers their lives. We
- 22:32Speaker 2: knew we had apparently a bomber there right they saw somebody,
- 22:37Speaker 2: There was a call that went out. No one apparently
- 22:40Speaker 2: could make the decision on how to deal with them.
- 22:43Speaker 2: Game over suicide. Bomber decides to do it and it
- 22:47Speaker 2: cost American their lives. You'll look at this guy, there
- 22:51Speaker 2: was so many I would say, dumb criminal moves that
- 22:56Speaker 2: this guy, as a criminal did before he ever got
- 23:00Speaker 2: up on that roof. That was warnings that any logical
- 23:04Speaker 2: person would know, don't let this guy in around this venue.
- 23:09Speaker 2: Example of that is the damn range finder which she
- 23:12Speaker 2: was asked about.
- 23:14Speaker 7: So did he have a rangefinder?
- 23:17Speaker 8: There were some reports that the individual had a rangefinder?
- 23:21Speaker 8: Would that would certainly raise my suspicion. Did he have
- 23:25Speaker 8: a rangefinder?
- 23:27Speaker 9: Yes he did, But may I explain that at a
- 23:30Speaker 9: number of our sites, especially when you're at outdoor venues,
- 23:34Speaker 9: a rangefinder is not a prohibited item. It is sometimes
- 23:37Speaker 9: an item that is brought in by individuals are going
- 23:39Speaker 9: to be anybody.
- 23:40Speaker 8: Anybody confront him on that, Anybody ask him questions, what
- 23:44Speaker 8: are you doing with the rangefinder? Anybody confront him on
- 23:49Speaker 8: his presence where he was in proximity to the president.
- 23:52Speaker 9: So, again, to my knowledge, I believe that that was
- 23:55Speaker 9: the process that was taking place, was to locate the individual.
- 23:58Speaker 2: Did they confront him they, I mean, they would know
- 24:01Speaker 2: he had it to then be able to confront him.
- 24:04Speaker 2: It's a very simple question. So the guy's got a
- 24:07Speaker 2: range finer, Apparently no one confronts him on that. They
- 24:10Speaker 2: then start putting out pictures that the fbid everybody has
- 24:13Speaker 2: of this guy they can't find.
- 24:15Speaker 3: They put the president up on the stage.
- 24:16Speaker 2: They get on top of the roof and they're like, oh, hey,
- 24:19Speaker 2: look you here, we got the guy that we sent
- 24:22Speaker 2: the pictures out about. And then if you go back
- 24:24Speaker 2: in time to what I mentioned a moment ago center,
- 24:27Speaker 2: you also had the other concern, and that is from
- 24:31Speaker 2: this whistleblower that said, hey, law enforcement partners offered drones
- 24:37Speaker 2: to the Secret Service before Butler Pennsylvania Trump rally. This
- 24:42Speaker 2: Secret Service decline. But this twenty year old shooter he
- 24:47Speaker 2: used on the day of the rally. Really, you see
- 24:51Speaker 2: a drone in the air and you're good with it.
- 24:53Speaker 2: You see a range final, you're good with it. You
- 24:55Speaker 2: lose the guy you put the president on stage.
- 24:57Speaker 5: Look, my assumption is that the person was vastly undermanned,
- 25:02Speaker 5: and that the senior leadership of the Secret Service did
- 25:06Speaker 5: was not treating Donald Trump as the presumptive Republican nominee
- 25:10Speaker 5: as the next president of the United States, and they
- 25:12Speaker 5: were undermanning him for partisan political reasons. Not only that,
- 25:16Speaker 5: so The Washington Post on July twentieth wrote a bombshell story.
- 25:20Speaker 5: The headline was Secret Service said to have denied requests
- 25:23Speaker 5: for more security at Trump events. Top officials repeatedly rejected
- 25:28Speaker 5: requests from Trump's security detail for more manpower and gear
- 25:31Speaker 5: at events before attempted assassination, at times citing lack of resources,
- 25:36Speaker 5: people familiar with the asks say, and here's what the
- 25:38Speaker 5: Washington Post reported quote. Top officials at the US Secret
- 25:42Speaker 5: Service repeatedly denied requests for additional resources and personnel sought
- 25:47Speaker 5: by Donald Trump's security detail in the two years leading
- 25:50Speaker 5: up to his attempted assassination at I rally in Pennsylvania
- 25:53Speaker 5: last Saturday. According to four people familiar with the requests,
- 25:57Speaker 5: agents charged with protecting the former president requested magnetometers and
- 26:02Speaker 5: more agents to screen attendees at sporting events and other
- 26:04Speaker 5: large public gatherings Trump attended, as well as additional snipers
- 26:08Speaker 5: and specialty items at other outdoor events, said the people,
- 26:11Speaker 5: who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss secret
- 26:14Speaker 5: security discussions. The requests, which have not been previously reported,
- 26:19Speaker 5: were sometimes denied by senior officials at the agency, who
- 26:22Speaker 5: cited various regions, including a lack of resources at an
- 26:26Speaker 5: agency that has long struggled with staffing shortages. These rejections
- 26:32Speaker 5: in response to requests that were several times made in
- 26:36Speaker 5: writing led to long standing tensions that pitted Trump his
- 26:41Speaker 5: top aid set his security detail against Secret Service leadership,
- 26:46Speaker 5: as Trump advisors privately fretted that the vaunted security agency
- 26:50Speaker 5: was not doing enough to protect the former president. Now,
- 26:55Speaker 5: what did the Secret Service say in the wake of
- 26:59Speaker 5: the attempt at set fascination. Well, that they put out
- 27:03Speaker 5: Here's what the Secret Service spokesman said on July fourteenth. Quote,
- 27:10Speaker 5: there's an untrue assertion that a member of the former
- 27:14Speaker 5: president's team requested additional security resources and that those were rebuffed.
- 27:20Speaker 5: This is absolutely false. In fact, we added protective resources
- 27:26Speaker 5: and technology and capabilities as part of the increased campaign
- 27:32Speaker 5: travel tempo. Now that's a tweet by Anthony Googly Lemi,
- 27:37Speaker 5: who is the Secret Service spokesperson. It was an official tweet,
- 27:42Speaker 5: and it was a flat out lie. And by the way,
- 27:45Speaker 5: it wasn't an assertion that a member requested additional security.
- 27:49Speaker 5: What the Washington Post reported was that his protective detail,
- 27:53Speaker 5: the Secret Service agents on the detail repeatedly requested additional
- 27:58Speaker 5: security and repeatedly they were turned down. Why is it
- 28:02Speaker 5: that the Secret Service is publicly lying on the record
- 28:06Speaker 5: and trying to cover up their disastrous failures.
- 28:09Speaker 2: I even got to say there were some Democrats that
- 28:11Speaker 2: were even shocked over just the absurdity of the Secret
- 28:16Speaker 2: Service screwing this up. One of them was a Democrat
- 28:19Speaker 2: on the House Oversight Committee that was questioning the Secret
- 28:21Speaker 2: Service director before she resigned. And this was just about
- 28:25Speaker 2: the roof and where the shooter was. It is shocking.
- 28:28Speaker 10: Listen, par Chetel, As you know, the shooter began shooting
- 28:34Speaker 10: at six eleven pm Eastern on July thirteenth. NBC reported
- 28:39Speaker 10: that at five point fifty one pm, twenty minutes before
- 28:42Speaker 10: the shooting began, the State Police informed the Secret Service
- 28:45Speaker 10: of their concern.
- 28:46Speaker 7: Now, the rally was not pause at that point, correct.
- 28:50Speaker 10: Now, And according to NBC, just two minutes later, at
- 28:54Speaker 10: five point fifty three pm, the Secret Service notified its
- 28:58Speaker 10: snipers about the gun man. The rally wasn't paused at
- 29:02Speaker 10: that point either, correct. No, Let me show you some
- 29:06Speaker 10: video footage.
- 29:07Speaker 7: By rally goers. If you could play the.
- 29:09Speaker 10: Video on the screen up here, This was taken two
- 29:13Speaker 10: minutes before the shooting start.
- 29:15Speaker 7: If you could turn up the volume. Dangerous, ma'am.
- 29:33Speaker 10: That doesn't look like suspicious behavior. That looks like threatening
- 29:36Speaker 10: behavior to me, and the rally wasn't pause at that
- 29:39Speaker 10: point either.
- 29:40Speaker 7: Correct.
- 29:41Speaker 9: I can tell you, as I stated earlier, sir, that
- 29:44Speaker 9: the moment that the shift surrounding the president were aware
- 29:49Speaker 9: of an actual threat.
- 29:50Speaker 7: That's a threat right there.
- 29:52Speaker 10: The guy's on the roof and everybody's yelling at him
- 29:55Speaker 10: yes and directing the officer's attention to him, the rally
- 29:59Speaker 10: was not pause at that point.
- 30:00Speaker 7: Correct.
- 30:01Speaker 9: We are currently still combing through communications and when communications
- 30:06Speaker 9: were passed.
- 30:06Speaker 10: Well, I can point you to this communication as two
- 30:09Speaker 10: minutes before the shots started ringing out director title, Yes
- 30:12Speaker 10: or no? Was there ever a moment where the Secret
- 30:15Speaker 10: Service actually considered pausing the rally?
- 30:19Speaker 9: The Secret Service would have paused the rally had they
- 30:22Speaker 9: known or been so.
- 30:24Speaker 7: The answer is no, an actual threat, The answer is no. Correct.
- 30:28Speaker 9: I can I can speak to you in generalities.
- 30:31Speaker 10: No, No, I don't want general communication. The answer is no,
- 30:35Speaker 10: you did not consider pausing the rally.
- 30:36Speaker 7: Correct.
- 30:37Speaker 9: The people that are in charge of protecting the president
- 30:40Speaker 9: on that day would never bring the former president out
- 30:44Speaker 9: if there was a threat that had been identified.
- 30:46Speaker 10: Well, they did, because we've now identified three points and
- 30:51Speaker 10: the twenty minutes before the shooting that the threat emerged.
- 30:55Speaker 2: I mean Senator, you listened to this, and I worry
- 30:59Speaker 2: final question for you about not just the incommency of
- 31:02Speaker 2: the directors resigned, but the people that she's hired in
- 31:06Speaker 2: the bureaucracy underneath her. She may be gone, but if
- 31:09Speaker 2: there's others that trick all the way down to the
- 31:12Speaker 2: events level and this is allowed to happen, I mean,
- 31:15Speaker 2: for goodness sake, their excuse about the roof being too
- 31:18Speaker 2: sloped to put people up there, well, guess what where
- 31:20Speaker 2: the counter sniper team was. We found out that roof
- 31:23Speaker 2: was actually sloped at a higher degree of angle than
- 31:25Speaker 2: the roof where the shooters shot from. So she was
- 31:28Speaker 2: lying to us. Then it was all pr It was
- 31:32Speaker 2: all spin.
- 31:33Speaker 5: This was astonishing incompetence combined with a partisan political gross negligence,
- 31:41Speaker 5: which is because her partisan political loyalties are to Joe Biden.
- 31:47Speaker 5: They devalued protecting Donald Trump. They also devalued protecting RFK Junior.
- 31:53Speaker 5: And that security detail should have been granted long ago,
- 31:56Speaker 5: and I think it is. There is a very good
- 31:59Speaker 5: question to ask next about who's next. What are they
- 32:02Speaker 5: doing now, what are they doing today? What are they
- 32:05Speaker 5: doing tomorrow to prevent the next lunatic from doing this,
- 32:09Speaker 5: and we need to make sure there are adequate resources.
- 32:12Speaker 5: We need to make sure the site is secured. We
- 32:15Speaker 5: need to make sure they had procedures in place. There
- 32:18Speaker 5: were multiple junctures at which this assassin, this attempted assassin,
- 32:22Speaker 5: could have been stopped, could have been apprehended. President Trump
- 32:26Speaker 5: could have been delayed from going up on that stage
- 32:29Speaker 5: and never subjected to the risk of the sniper fire.
- 32:31Speaker 5: He could have been removed from that stage once they
- 32:33Speaker 5: realized there was a potential sniper there. There were a
- 32:37Speaker 5: series of catastrophic mistakes, and to date, secret Service leadership
- 32:44Speaker 5: has still taken responsibility for none of them, accountability for
- 32:49Speaker 5: none of them.
- 32:50Speaker 4: As Harry S.
- 32:50Speaker 5: Truman famously said, the buck stops here, Well, the buck
- 32:53Speaker 5: doesn't stop anywhere because they're all passing the buck and
- 32:56Speaker 5: they're not even admitting that there was a problem. It
- 33:01Speaker 5: is a huge problem going forward and it needs to
- 33:04Speaker 5: be fixed.
- 33:05Speaker 3: As always.
