- 2:08Speaker 1: and only Steve Harvey got a radio show, this one
- 2:12Speaker 1: today I want to share with you. Uh. It's for
- 2:16Speaker 1: all of us. It's for all of us. Uh, And
- 2:21Speaker 1: here it is. There is a solution to all of
- 2:27Speaker 1: your problems and situations. If you are feeling this, are
- 2:35Speaker 1: you feeling desperate about something and anxious about it? Are
- 2:40Speaker 1: you feeling uncertain about anything? Are you at a loss
- 2:45Speaker 1: for words? Are you is your direction unclear? How about that?
- 2:53Speaker 1: If you can't find your purpose, that's a good one
- 2:57Speaker 1: that stops a lot of people. If you don't know
- 3:00Speaker 1: what your next move is that to go. I don't.
- 3:04Speaker 1: I don't care what it is. If if if the
- 3:06Speaker 1: relationship you're in it's all wrong and you don't know
- 3:11Speaker 1: how to get out of it, it doesn't matter. There's
- 3:15Speaker 1: a solution to all your problems in situations, and that
- 3:21Speaker 1: solution without trying to sound like I've been knowing this
- 3:26Speaker 1: my whole life, because I haven't. That solution to all
- 3:31Speaker 1: your problems. That way to make all your dreams come true,
- 3:36Speaker 1: the way around a lot of this and to the
- 3:40Speaker 1: weakness that you feel at times, it's prayer, prayer, a
- 3:46Speaker 1: connection with your creator. Could that be the thing that's
- 3:50Speaker 1: missing in your life. I'm just asking because whenever I
- 3:56Speaker 1: get a little bit off track, all I gotta do
- 4:00Speaker 1: is think, just a moment, Steve, have you been have
- 4:04Speaker 1: you been praying? Man? Have you been connecting with your creative?
- 4:08Speaker 1: I know you're busy, man, I know you're busy, and
- 4:11Speaker 1: I know at the end of the day you're done.
- 4:14Speaker 1: You're done, and sometimes crawling into bed is all you
- 4:18Speaker 1: can manage to do. I've said this, it happened to
- 4:21Speaker 1: me last night. Again. I did all of this. But
- 4:25Speaker 1: when I look and when I see things not moving
- 4:30Speaker 1: or I don't feel like things are going in the
- 4:32Speaker 1: right direction, or I have a sense of being stagnant.
- 4:36Speaker 1: All I got to do is retrace it because I'm working,
- 4:40Speaker 1: There's no doubt about that. I'm working. But I'm a
- 4:44Speaker 1: staying connected. Am I using that weapon that's available to
- 4:48Speaker 1: all of us? And I pray? And the answer is
- 4:52Speaker 1: usually no. That's so I know. Okay, okay, man, I'm
- 4:55Speaker 1: getting off track hill because see, let me tell you something. Man.
- 4:59Speaker 1: The reason the reason I constantly talk to God is
- 5:03Speaker 1: because life constantly changes. People who said they was going
- 5:07Speaker 1: to do something for you one day have changed their
- 5:10Speaker 1: mind the next. Somebody you thought was gonna show up
- 5:14Speaker 1: that day called in late, had an accident and couldn't
- 5:18Speaker 1: make it. That changes the parameters of everything. The meeting
- 5:22Speaker 1: you had set up that had to be canceled because
- 5:25Speaker 1: somebody was ill. That changes the parameters the time frame
- 5:30Speaker 1: of everything. Because it's all connected. So if I don't
- 5:34Speaker 1: stay in constant prayer and stay connected to the Creator
- 5:38Speaker 1: when these thing's happen, I'm not put in my bid.
- 5:42Speaker 1: I'm not talked to him about how to handle it. Oh,
- 5:45Speaker 1: I'm just not aware of it and what to do next.
- 5:48Speaker 1: And the next thing you know, it becomes a little stagnant.
- 5:51Speaker 1: That has happened to me. I gotta get back because
- 5:55Speaker 1: prayer is the solution to all of my problems and situations.
- 6:00Speaker 1: I have found that to be the case now. The
- 6:03Speaker 1: only reason I'm telling it to you is because I
- 6:05Speaker 1: know if you anything like me slash human being, then
- 6:10Speaker 1: there are times that you feel anxious. There's moments of desperation.
- 6:15Speaker 1: You have moments of uncertainty. There are times when you
- 6:19Speaker 1: feel like you've lost your way, or your direction is unclear,
- 6:26Speaker 1: or you or your purpose is a little blurred. You're
- 6:29Speaker 1: not show anymore, or you don't know what your next
- 6:32Speaker 1: movie is, or the relationship you in or the relationships
- 6:36Speaker 1: you're dabbling in. They're just all wrong for you. Man,
- 6:42Speaker 1: there is a solution to all your problems and situations,
- 6:46Speaker 1: and it's prayer. If you're suffering from any of the
- 6:49Speaker 1: things I just listed, or any of thing you could
- 6:52Speaker 1: think of, just check your prayer. What has your prayer
- 6:55Speaker 1: been lately about it? And this is for everybody. I
- 7:01Speaker 1: often find when I get that disconnection, man, my my
- 7:05Speaker 1: prayd and slipped off. I started feeling a little bit less,
- 7:09Speaker 1: so I gotta jump back on it. I'm just offering
- 7:12Speaker 1: you a solution to it, man, and and and and
- 7:15Speaker 1: and and I'm giving you a solution that works one
- 7:17Speaker 1: of the thousand percent for show. See, I ain't guessing
- 7:22Speaker 1: at this one. I'm telling you what has happened in
- 7:25Speaker 1: my life, how I did it, and it'll do for you.
- 7:28Speaker 1: God has filled with mercy and grace. He knows we
- 7:32Speaker 1: all messed up. He knows all of us have done
- 7:35Speaker 1: some jacked up things that don't nobody know about. He
- 7:38Speaker 1: know all about our past. Man, he know all of that.
- 7:43Speaker 1: But he is so full of grace and mercy, so
- 7:46Speaker 1: full of fifty fifth chances. But you know the thing
- 7:50Speaker 1: about your life though, and the thing I had to
- 7:53Speaker 1: come to terms with, and the reason I don't let
- 7:55Speaker 1: my my out of the reason I don't let my
- 7:57Speaker 1: past bury me, the reason I don't let my past
- 8:00Speaker 1: ask defined me. It's because my past I found out,
- 8:06Speaker 1: or just the ingredients needed for me to make this
- 8:13Speaker 1: cake I'm eating now. My past is just my ingredients.
- 8:19Speaker 1: See you, you don't get rid of your past. They
- 8:23Speaker 1: they go on the where they are the ingredients, but
- 8:26Speaker 1: when you put them with something else, they look better.
- 8:28Speaker 1: They taste better. It is better. All of our past
- 8:34Speaker 1: are just the ingredients that have become the cake we
- 8:37Speaker 1: eating now. Now, if you don't like the way your
- 8:39Speaker 1: cake taste, then you gotta stop putting some other ingredients
- 8:42Speaker 1: in there. Just because you started off and your cake
- 8:46Speaker 1: was messed up, don't mean you can't straighten out the
- 8:48Speaker 1: flavor of your cake. You gotta put some different ingredients
- 8:51Speaker 1: in there. So let's say your cake is trifling tasted,
- 8:56Speaker 1: it's better. Your cake is better. Well, you got to die,
- 9:00Speaker 1: loot the bitterness. You gotta put some more goodness in there.
- 9:03Speaker 1: So you gotta put some goodness ingredients to to take
- 9:06Speaker 1: away the taste of the bitterness. So you gotta put
- 9:11Speaker 1: some different ingredients in there. You gotta start living your
- 9:14Speaker 1: life a little more kindly, a little more thoughtful, a
- 9:17Speaker 1: little more sharing, a little more caring. And then after
- 9:20Speaker 1: a while, man, those new ingredients combined with that bitter
- 9:24Speaker 1: it starts overshadowing the bitter taste, because the bitter taste
- 9:27Speaker 1: is further behind you. Now, see, something that happened to
- 9:31Speaker 1: you twelve, fifteen, thirty sixteen years ago ain't got to
- 9:36Speaker 1: be the flavor that's in your mouth. Now unless you
- 9:39Speaker 1: let it be. It's the ingredients. Man. If you're sticking
- 9:45Speaker 1: away your cake tasting, change your ingredients. Put something else
- 9:49Speaker 1: in your cake mix so you can get a better taste.
- 9:54Speaker 1: You're listening twenty one minutes after our twenty one minutes
- 10:01Speaker 1: after that on this brand new Tuesday Morning. Man, ain't
- 10:04Speaker 1: you glad you were alive today? What a blessing? Man?
- 10:07Speaker 1: What an opportunity to wake up and do it all again. Man,
- 10:10Speaker 1: if you haven't gotten it right, he woke you up
- 10:12Speaker 1: to give you another chance to get it right. If
- 10:14Speaker 1: you got something you ain't got, check, he gave you
- 10:16Speaker 1: another chance to get up and get it. Whatever you want.
- 10:19Speaker 1: You got a chance to ask for. You have not
- 10:21Speaker 1: caught your ass. Now, now let's be about it today.
- 10:24Speaker 1: Come on to Shirley. Good morning, Steve, thanks again for
- 10:27Speaker 1: inviting us to your show yesterday. We're talking about that
- 10:30Speaker 1: in a minute, calling for real. Good morning, Junior morning,

- 10:54Speaker 1: I don't think us good. No, it's just it's got
- 11:03Speaker 1: a couple of amateurs and come here, you know, looking
- 11:06Speaker 1: at the monitor too long. I was reading with you.
- 11:10Speaker 1: That's how I see reading here teller prompt you wasn't
- 11:14Speaker 1: that bad. It's just safe to say. We ain't gonna
- 11:17Speaker 1: be bun went on the show and Jadeen done TV shows,
- 11:22Speaker 1: even had sitcoms and stuff. So Jay know how to
- 11:24Speaker 1: watch the third wall, time, be good at it, truth
- 11:26Speaker 1: for being a theater and all that. But the other
- 11:30Speaker 1: three I say it, Steve, just say it. I was
- 11:36Speaker 1: looking at the wrong camp the whole time. I called him.
- 11:43Speaker 1: I called him sketch. What is that case? Shirley killed callers?
- 11:53Speaker 1: I ain't never been on TV. Yeah, you know, look nice,
- 11:58Speaker 1: cleaned up. Well, nice to ye. Tom. You bought somebody
- 12:03Speaker 1: in for the show, didn't you. Yeah? Yeah, yeah, I
- 12:06Speaker 1: brought the first lady in with me. She came to
- 12:08Speaker 1: hang out with wifey all right now with real good time. Yeah,
- 12:16Speaker 1: and my sister was there. She was so happy. That's good.
- 12:22Speaker 1: To the end of my life with her. It's very sweet. Yeah. Yeah.
- 12:26Speaker 1: We have to ask the producers because you know, Steve
- 12:28Speaker 1: doesn't know, so we'll have to call back. As one
- 12:31Speaker 1: of the producers of the show, when the air date,
- 12:33Speaker 1: when the show that we were on. We know you
- 12:35Speaker 1: don't know, he doesn't know. You know what I we'll
- 12:39Speaker 1: all get cut up. Take something, y'all. Y'all got two segments.
- 12:49Speaker 1: We need to quit tripping. Really two segments and really,
- 12:54Speaker 1: come on, guys. Thank you, great, yeah, great, full, thank you?
- 13:01Speaker 1: Smiling a lot, smiling this a key. You know you
- 13:05Speaker 1: ain't smiling. You look real regular. Yeah, just being on
- 13:09Speaker 1: it a lot for me something, thanks a lot. I
- 13:12Speaker 1: actually won't your show. I won't. I had that much fun.
- 13:17Speaker 1: I won't want it. You quit wanting this show? You
- 13:25Speaker 1: know what you meant to say, was you want us?
- 13:31Speaker 1: No way, no house? All right, it's time for something funny.
- 13:35Speaker 1: Junior is here with the Truth be Told. Coming up next.
- 13:40Speaker 1: You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right back,
- 13:44Speaker 1: Junior is here with truth be told. Everybody look here,
- 13:49Speaker 1: Oh man, we gotta good today. Truth be told, it
- 13:51Speaker 1: said with just some situations people be going through. They
- 13:54Speaker 1: don't know how to hem them. They right in me
- 13:57Speaker 1: and we helped him with the situation. Now can take
- 14:00Speaker 1: the advice or you can leave it. Don't really make
- 14:02Speaker 1: us no difference. But the truth will be told. Let's
- 14:06Speaker 1: take this Vinces, Good morning. I listened to the show
- 14:08Speaker 1: every morning on my way to school, and I hate
- 14:11Speaker 1: what It's time to get out of the car. I'm
- 14:13Speaker 1: an eighteen year old high school senior in Dallas preparing
- 14:16Speaker 1: for my senior prom um. Too ashamed to say what
- 14:19Speaker 1: school I go to, Well, let's just say just because
- 14:23Speaker 1: the problem. I have been preparing for prom for months,
- 14:26Speaker 1: hitting every mall in the area, trying to make sure
- 14:28Speaker 1: that I'm fresh for the prom. This is supposed to
- 14:31Speaker 1: be the most lit event of the school yet I
- 14:33Speaker 1: don't know what it is but school year, and I
- 14:39Speaker 1: was excited. Now. For months, I had been asking where
- 14:43Speaker 1: to buy tickets and trying to find out what venue
- 14:46Speaker 1: we will be using, only to get answers like we're
- 14:48Speaker 1: trying to find an entertainer to come out and perform
- 14:51Speaker 1: for you guys, so just be patient. Well, last week,
- 14:54Speaker 1: after months of asking, I finally got an answer. An
- 14:56Speaker 1: announcement was made by our principal saying that the class
- 14:59Speaker 1: of twenty seven team will be holding our senior prom
- 15:03Speaker 1: in the back of an unspecified church. There will be
- 15:06Speaker 1: no tickets, however, interest will be paid for at the
- 15:10Speaker 1: four year other church. There were also no takers for
- 15:14Speaker 1: a performance at our prompt. I don't want to miss
- 15:17Speaker 1: my senior prompt. But this is not what I had
- 15:19Speaker 1: in mind. I feel like I haven't had anyone be
- 15:22Speaker 1: truthful about anything and just want some feedback on what
- 15:26Speaker 1: to expect. Well, i'll tell you right now, truth be told.
- 15:30Speaker 1: I don't know what you expect. I never had prom
- 15:33Speaker 1: at the church. You can have a prom at the church. Okay, cool?
- 15:36Speaker 1: What you want us to do? Nobody I know in
- 15:38Speaker 1: this building had church at a prom. You don't know
- 15:41Speaker 1: what to expect. Okay, I'll tell you what. I'll tell
- 15:44Speaker 1: you what. You're not even going to prom? You going
- 15:46Speaker 1: to service. That's a difference. That's a difference. Prom is
- 15:51Speaker 1: what I went to. I get to slow drag. You
- 15:54Speaker 1: know what I'm saying. Getting little kids here now? You
- 15:56Speaker 1: know the little photo where you're going. There is no
- 16:00Speaker 1: rom king and Queen ain't but one king in that.
- 16:03Speaker 1: You can't sit up in that talk about we ki
- 16:05Speaker 1: could quit and what what you're calling to the church.
- 16:10Speaker 1: You're not going to problem. So let's just expect that.
- 16:14Speaker 1: I don't hear my question, though, he is what church.
- 16:18Speaker 1: What desperate far close church for you to take on
- 16:23Speaker 1: the prom? You know this church? Come on, y'all know
- 16:26Speaker 1: this is about to church right here now. I don't
- 16:27Speaker 1: know what more it is, but they are about to
- 16:30Speaker 1: be far clow though. If you take a prom on
- 16:33Speaker 1: a Friday night when you know you got Choir Hurston
- 16:35Speaker 1: in one room, there's awaken another room, the prom going
- 16:39Speaker 1: on the back. You know this is a Baptist church,
- 16:43Speaker 1: and I don't stand y'all can't find nobody to perform
- 16:46Speaker 1: at the prom. Naturally, you can't find nobody to perform
- 16:49Speaker 1: at the problem because the people y'all listen to don't
- 16:52Speaker 1: go to church. You can't get the amigos at the
- 16:56Speaker 1: back of the church. You can't hear bad boy him. Yeah,
- 17:00Speaker 1: you ain't no little oozy up in him. You ain't
- 17:03Speaker 1: a little mcmack, no little nine millimeter. You can't have
- 17:06Speaker 1: all that church. Now here's some people y'all can't get.
- 17:11Speaker 1: Shirley sees I ain't doing nothing Shirley Murdock available. Have
- 17:16Speaker 1: y'all thought about Dody mcclerk. Don't Kurt Frankston. Don't Kurt
- 17:20Speaker 1: franks for the people man, Okay, they ain't got ahead
- 17:27Speaker 1: of me, but no one that can perform. Now, I
- 17:29Speaker 1: don't see nobody else they can use. I really don't
- 17:32Speaker 1: now the awesome events i'd like to tell you about
- 17:34Speaker 1: that you need to expect. Once called off the call,
- 17:37Speaker 1: y'all will be having all the call. Y'all already dressed
- 17:42Speaker 1: for church. Y'all got the nice tuxes, only dresses. That's
- 17:45Speaker 1: something you guys offering offering ears coming around at this church,
- 17:49Speaker 1: so you can prepare for that. Okay. And then last
- 17:52Speaker 1: but not least, since y'all already dressed, church Announcemith might
- 17:56Speaker 1: as well get ready for them, y'all. Just everybody sit
- 17:59Speaker 1: down church. He's gonna be Hey. I'd like to give
- 18:04Speaker 1: him a suggestion. What's that you can't get the eight
- 18:07Speaker 1: blind boys out of Cleveland? Eight blind boys? Yeah, yeah,
- 18:14Speaker 1: but ain't none of them blind though. They just do
- 18:17Speaker 1: that to get to work. They can all see. They
- 18:20Speaker 1: just do that for the show. Yeah, that's just the
- 18:23Speaker 1: name of They wear dog glasses and they swayed back
- 18:27Speaker 1: and forth like you're not really blind out. As soon
- 18:29Speaker 1: as the show they all drive home separate. Oh, they
- 18:34Speaker 1: put on a good show to the run into everything. Well,
- 18:37Speaker 1: that's it, truth be told. I don't know what to
- 18:40Speaker 1: tell y'all. What takes bac man. He just expect that
- 18:42Speaker 1: for your crime this year, man, and understand that just
- 18:45Speaker 1: the only time you got to do it. That's it,
- 18:47Speaker 1: just the only time that is different. Hunt at the
- 18:50Speaker 1: Churchill Yeah, revival expect Yeah, spell walk right? No fun?
- 19:05Speaker 1: Uh some stories, guys, just some quick things. Um. I
- 19:09Speaker 1: didn't know this about you men, but this is according
- 19:12Speaker 1: to a new survey, It says of men think that
- 19:16Speaker 1: women mainly wear makeup to trick people into thinking they're attractive. Yeah,
- 19:22Speaker 1: is that happen to me? Think that, Well, surely they're
- 19:25Speaker 1: awesome that don't need to take it off. Okay, what
- 19:31Speaker 1: what I mean by that call it is there are
- 19:34Speaker 1: some people that look completely different underneath that, and that's
- 19:37Speaker 1: wrong to trick somebody brank? Yes, where is the lady
- 19:45Speaker 1: that was here first? What happened? What you guys are
- 19:52Speaker 1: trying to say is that makeup is meant to enhance
- 19:55Speaker 1: what you just to cover up is a beautiful woman.
- 20:00Speaker 1: But did she take that makeup off? She just like
- 20:02Speaker 1: marvelous Marven Hacket? What do you think, Steve? What men
- 20:08Speaker 1: cannot complain about this. We do things to trap and
- 20:14Speaker 1: they do things to be trapped. That's the game. So
- 20:20Speaker 1: I mean, so I don't understand that what even to
- 20:22Speaker 1: complaint could be. We do stuff to trap. That's unscrupulous.
- 20:28Speaker 1: Every man in here to lie to trap a chick
- 20:31Speaker 1: before every man in't here. So now guess what they
- 20:38Speaker 1: got some get trap tricks, spanks, All these is get trapped, sweaves, kills,
- 20:49Speaker 1: nail polish. That's the game. Brothers, no kids, stuff like that.
- 20:55Speaker 1: Eat go over there. It's like we are in the world.
- 20:59Speaker 1: Damn children too. Had that happen? All right? Coming up
- 21:06Speaker 1: next the nephew in the prank phone call, We'll be back,
- 21:10Speaker 1: all right, y'all coming up at the top of the
- 21:12Speaker 1: our we got missing. Yeah, but right now, come on, Tommy,
- 21:18Speaker 1: let's run that break back. Running back on. I got
- 21:21Speaker 1: a repo man for you. That's right, repo man. Everybody
- 21:24Speaker 1: has been involved in some kind of capacity. Hello, I'm
- 21:30Speaker 1: trying to reach you. Please all. Your My name is
- 21:34Speaker 1: uh Robert. I'm with the collection agency. You do on
- 21:39Speaker 1: a Sierra two thousand three GMC truck. Am I correct? Okay,
- 21:43Speaker 1: we don't show that we've had any payments within the
- 21:46Speaker 1: last I guess about three close to four months now,
- 21:49Speaker 1: and we want to try and stop having to come
- 21:51Speaker 1: in and repossess it. Maybe we give you a chance
- 21:53Speaker 1: to uh bring your payment in, but we haven't had
- 21:56Speaker 1: a payment from you in about four months, sir, to
- 22:00Speaker 1: financially with the other the other things. I don't, I don't,
- 22:03Speaker 1: I don't know within the moment. Yeah, I've a saying
- 22:05Speaker 1: all times directed product from my canare about that. Well, Uh,
- 22:09Speaker 1: I'm with They've they've turned you over to us. I'm
- 22:12Speaker 1: with uh collection agency, and we haven't gotten anything from

- 22:19Speaker 1: on the computer at all that we've had any payments
- 22:21Speaker 1: made within the last four months. So that's why they've

- 22:27Speaker 1: They can't never tell my truck over to y'all. Y'all,
- 22:30Speaker 1: I don't even know. Well, I understand that what happens
- 22:33Speaker 1: is if you haven't paid it in a certain amount
- 22:34Speaker 1: of time, it actually comes over to the collection agency.
- 22:37Speaker 1: And that's what they've done. They've actually sent it over
- 22:39Speaker 1: to us. UH. They've given us uh pretty much all
- 22:41Speaker 1: the information on you. I guess it's a gold this
- 22:44Speaker 1: type of color UH CR two thousand three GMC truck.
- 22:47Speaker 1: From my understanding, Am I correct? Okay? Um, Now, what
- 22:51Speaker 1: I'm gonna need from you today, Jeremy, is for you
- 22:54Speaker 1: to come in uh and make a payment to us
- 22:56Speaker 1: this evening for four months so we can see so
- 22:59Speaker 1: we don't have to come in and repossess your truck.
- 23:01Speaker 1: And I don't want to have to do that. But
- 23:02Speaker 1: if I have to send a record out there to you,
- 23:04Speaker 1: I have your address on file as well. I don't
- 23:06Speaker 1: wanna have to send anybody out to pick it up.
- 23:10Speaker 1: You're not coming here my truck, and I'm not paying
- 23:12Speaker 1: y'all for for new full months. I'm been saying my

- 23:18Speaker 1: I don't want to get in a back and forth
- 23:19Speaker 1: with you, but I'm telling you exactly how it's gonna go. Now.
- 23:22Speaker 1: I'll come out there and repossess it myself, but I'm
- 23:25Speaker 1: telling you what. Look, look, that's not that's not even
- 23:29Speaker 1: where we gotta go with that. Don't be you don't
- 23:30Speaker 1: need to be screaming and chaotic and come get it
- 23:33Speaker 1: yourself and all that truck that's gonna be that. What

- 23:50Speaker 1: my truck note and and that's a fun Let's get
- 23:54Speaker 1: I've already stated to you before I'm with Shan Agency.

- 24:32Speaker 1: call me back. I'm telling you you haven't paid anything.
- 24:36Speaker 1: That's what I'm telling you. I've got it listed on
- 24:38Speaker 1: the computer. You've been turned over an agency and you
- 24:41Speaker 1: haven't done it. You haven't done it, Thank you, stupid you.
- 24:45Speaker 1: You you're waising your fresh groom and hold over the
- 24:48Speaker 1: phone like that today? Do me me? Are you no good?

- 27:42Speaker 1: you guys ready for this one. Go ahead. Cursing alright,
- 27:45Speaker 1: we know who is. Cursing makes you stronger. Apparently, a
- 27:50Speaker 1: new study has found that if you cursed while you're
- 27:54Speaker 1: working out in particular, you will perform better. That's what
- 27:58Speaker 1: the new study says. Researchers out of Kill University in
- 28:02Speaker 1: England had a bunch of twenty one year olds pedal
- 28:04Speaker 1: on a stationary bike as hard as they could. Once
- 28:08Speaker 1: while you know, they were cursing, and once while they
- 28:10Speaker 1: weren't cursing, well they were letting the curse words fly.
- 28:13Speaker 1: Their performance was up four percent better than when they
- 28:17Speaker 1: were just you know, not cursing, just clean. I don't
- 28:19Speaker 1: want to be help. Everything gets your point across, does.
- 28:25Speaker 1: I've tried to do shows without cousin. I see people
- 28:28Speaker 1: do it. How the hell they do that I don't know.
- 28:33Speaker 1: I don't do that. It has helped me to stay healthy.
- 28:37Speaker 1: I don't have high blood pressure. I don't help cholesterol.
- 28:42Speaker 1: I don't suffer with depression. I don't help because I
- 28:46Speaker 1: get it out, Cousin. That's benefited me greatly. Man, I
- 28:52Speaker 1: don't know where i'd be without it. Miss Sanna is
- 28:54Speaker 1: up next with their Headline News. Right after this, you're
- 28:57Speaker 1: listening to Steve Hardy More Show. All Right, you guys,
- 29:06Speaker 1: hear about this one. This is crazy. The FBI recently
- 29:08Speaker 1: revealed the birth dates of many serial killers, which in
- 29:12Speaker 1: turn gives us some insight into which zodiac signs are
- 29:16Speaker 1: the most dangerous. All Right, check this out. Cancers oh jr.
- 29:22Speaker 1: Are the most dangerous since they tend to be passive, aggressive,
- 29:25Speaker 1: and very jealous, which could result in them committing more crimes,
- 29:29Speaker 1: including murder. What sign are you, junior cancer? Okay? Sagittarius, anyone,
- 29:38Speaker 1: anyone in the room. Sagittarius. Nothing to do with the story.
- 29:48Speaker 1: I'll be the first, You'll be the first, Tommy. Alright.
- 29:57Speaker 1: Sagittarius a sign of several historical crazy people, including Ted Bundy,
- 30:02Speaker 1: um taurists, tourists, tourists tend. They tend to be aggressive,
- 30:10Speaker 1: and they tend to be angry. I ain't I ain't
- 30:13Speaker 1: never thought about killing, but I'm not doing. But they
- 30:16Speaker 1: ain't killers though, any aries in the room. Yes, they
- 30:22Speaker 1: tend to have short Oh no, not me. I'm very
- 30:26Speaker 1: even tempered in this job and have been for the
- 30:30Speaker 1: days i've been here. Snack out. Let me read that that. Yeah,
- 30:36Speaker 1: as they tend to have short Oh no, that ain't
- 30:39Speaker 1: me at all, right, Carla, your Libra, Yes, yes, Libra,
- 30:45Speaker 1: very patient, but they can lose their temper if harmed
- 30:49Speaker 1: by others. Get to the Capricorn, okay, Leo, that's me.
- 30:53Speaker 1: They tend to be proud and loud, but that's pretty
- 30:56Speaker 1: much it. Okay, Capricorn, Well guess what I just killed.
- 31:04Speaker 1: I'm very proud, very loud. Alright. Capricorn and Steve Harvey
- 31:08Speaker 1: are fearless leader. Although most Capricorns aren't dangerous, if provoked,
- 31:14Speaker 1: they can be with many killers born under this sign. Steve,
- 31:24Speaker 1: he's under the term I'll kill everybody several times. Okay,
- 31:29Speaker 1: I've said it at the hoodies, I'll kill everybody in
- 31:34Speaker 1: this room up root, just when it comes to my
- 31:40Speaker 1: kids and my girl. Yeah, you can say, I do
- 31:44Speaker 1: what you want to do to me. I don't care.
- 31:46Speaker 1: But once you attack her and kids, and I think
- 31:51Speaker 1: every man and woman in the room will agree with
- 31:54Speaker 1: you on that one. Yes, absolutely, yeah, Capricorn, see what
- 31:57Speaker 1: what what? All you know? It's all about the family
- 32:00Speaker 1: and the kids. Now, I'll tell you the only other
- 32:03Speaker 1: time I will kill you, all right, I really don't.
- 32:07Speaker 1: It's only a few works, like if I had have
- 32:10Speaker 1: worked and then you don't give me my check. Oh yeah,
- 32:13Speaker 1: I'm gonna have to kill yeah. Yeah, I didn't chase
- 32:16Speaker 1: a guy around the comedy club to get my check,
- 32:19Speaker 1: so I know what you're talking about. I needed my
- 32:22Speaker 1: fortyfied out when I first thought it out, when you
- 32:27Speaker 1: started out that man, that was gas money. Man. It's
- 32:31Speaker 1: important I can hear without fortified. Now yeah you can?
- 32:37Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, Now it's up in the thousands and the
- 32:42Speaker 1: millions for you. Well you can't, can't. You can't show
- 32:47Speaker 1: me a million? Now? Can you kill him? Here? In
- 32:50Speaker 1: another one? In another world? All right, let's wing it
- 32:53Speaker 1: on over to miss and Steve miss and by the way,
- 32:56Speaker 1: as a Gemini, and they're seemed to be the least
- 32:59Speaker 1: dangerous side, and they tend to be good hearted people
- 33:01Speaker 1: with no intention of killing. They kill each other people.
- 33:12Speaker 1: Thank you, Hey, until you find the bodies, you have
- 33:14Speaker 1: no proof. Okay. Anyway, this is answered with the news.
- 33:17Speaker 1: Good morning, everybody, Okay. Former Acting Attorney General Sally Yates
- 33:21Speaker 1: told Congress yesterday. She bluntly warned the Trump White House
- 33:25Speaker 1: back in January that the man Trump picked for National
- 33:28Speaker 1: Security advisor of Michael Flynn, could essentially be blackmail by
- 33:31Speaker 1: the Russians because he lied about his contacts with them.
- 33:36Speaker 1: Every time this lie was repeated and the misrepresentations were
- 33:41Speaker 1: getting more and more specific as as they were coming out.
- 33:44Speaker 1: Every time that happened, it increased the compromise. And to
- 33:49Speaker 1: state the obvious, you don't want your national security adviser
- 33:52Speaker 1: compromised with the Russians. Trump pass faced a lot of
- 33:55Speaker 1: questions as to why it took him weeks to dismiss
- 33:57Speaker 1: Flynn after he was first informed about Flynn's dying on.
- 34:00Speaker 1: The President, in typical defense mode, was tweeting. He tweets
- 34:03Speaker 1: that Flynn was granted top security clearances during the Obama administration. However,
- 34:08Speaker 1: former Obama advisers say, yeah, well, not only was Flint
- 34:11Speaker 1: fired by the Obama administration, but that when Trump and
- 34:15Speaker 1: Mr Obama met just after the election, the outgoing president
- 34:19Speaker 1: personally warned Trump about hiring this guy. Flinny did anyway, okay,
- 34:23Speaker 1: even though her Republican colleagues passed their new version of
- 34:25Speaker 1: a healthcare bill, min already leader Nancy Pelosi says, the
- 34:28Speaker 1: American people need to be made aware of what the
- 34:30Speaker 1: GOP measure will do. They will find out that their
- 34:34Speaker 1: congressperson forced families to pay higher premiums and deductibles. They
- 34:39Speaker 1: will find out that Trump Care destroys protections for pre
- 34:42Speaker 1: existing conditions, essential health benefit, eternity care, prenatal help, prescription
- 34:48Speaker 1: drug and emergency coverage. And they will find out that
- 34:51Speaker 1: they're that their congress person votage to make them pay
- 34:54Speaker 1: a premium five times higher than others pay for health coverage,
- 34:58Speaker 1: no matter how healthy they are. And they will find
- 35:01Speaker 1: out that it steals from Medicare. Recently fired suburban Dallas
- 35:06Speaker 1: cop who was shot and killed that unarmed fifteen year
- 35:08Speaker 1: old black youngster has been charged with murder. Calls for
- 35:10Speaker 1: the rest of the white cop, Roy Oliver and testified
- 35:13Speaker 1: intensified since the killing of black teenager Jordan ed was
- 35:15Speaker 1: a straight a high school student and had no priors
- 35:19Speaker 1: of any kind of very very good kid. Apparently. Apparently,
- 35:22Speaker 1: Oliver was suspended at one point for sixteen hours in
- 35:24Speaker 1: order to anger management classes because he threw a fit
- 35:27Speaker 1: about having to testifying court ones about a traffic arrest. Today,
- 35:31Speaker 1: International Tuba Day, International Lumpy Rug Day, and International Space
- 35:35Speaker 1: Day Final. And this has been answer. We'll be back
- 35:41Speaker 1: with Eugene the Butterfly at twenty minutes after the hour,

- 41:22Speaker 1: That's possible because people have sued animals before what they
- 41:27Speaker 1: had sued and the animal has lost. The beavers don't

- 42:00Speaker 1: so they're gonna find the beavers ten thounds all the
- 42:02Speaker 1: day for the damn that they built. But beavis don't care.
- 42:05Speaker 1: What mean? You know? For real? The law is the law.
- 42:10Speaker 1: If you don't come to court, the judgment goes in
- 42:12Speaker 1: your favor. Now you got the judgment, but now what
- 42:16Speaker 1: how you're gonna collect the payment? Ever? Don't the beaver
- 42:18Speaker 1: don't even know the gospel? Though they like looking for payment?
- 42:35Speaker 1: How much? Hayn't even doing that? But that's true. Yeah,
- 42:40Speaker 1: that's true. That's absolutely true. Okay. A US federal court
- 42:44Speaker 1: rule that women are free to display their breast in
- 42:46Speaker 1: public without penalty. I thought they were considering it, but
- 42:52Speaker 1: I don't know if it actually passed or not. Come on, well,
- 42:54Speaker 1: I'll tell you what. That's absolutely false. You you sureley

- 43:20Speaker 1: you men. This is according to a new survey. It
- 43:24Speaker 1: says six of men think that women mainly wear makeup
- 43:30Speaker 1: to trick people into thinking they're attractive. Yeah, is that
- 43:34Speaker 1: happen to think that, Well, surely they're awesome that don't
- 43:37Speaker 1: need to take it off. Okay, what what what I
- 43:43Speaker 1: mean by that call? It is there are some people
- 43:45Speaker 1: that look completely different underneath that, and that's wrong to
- 43:49Speaker 1: trick somebody. Yes, where is the lady that was here? First?
- 43:57Speaker 1: What happened? That's funny prank phone call coming up next?

- 52:14Speaker 1: and bottles and shapes and all that. You couldn't tell
- 52:18Speaker 1: me nothing. I mean, I was trying so hard. I
- 52:21Speaker 1: made thirteen thousand that night. How much time you did
- 52:27Speaker 1: seven days? I had plenty of times. The beast a
- 52:32Speaker 1: long time. I've been a beast alone. I've seen him

- 52:43Speaker 1: I think had a brown plaid suit on. Barbara Bates. Maybe,
- 52:48Speaker 1: Oh that's my girl making straight out of Chicago. Yeah, yeah,
- 52:53Speaker 1: I had a sitting bad on the show. She came
- 52:56Speaker 1: with sit bad. She still makes some fabulous stuff, Barbara
- 53:00Speaker 1: Et of Chicago, Chicago. How much did the beautiful and
- 53:04Speaker 1: very talented the one the Barbara Bates mate? Probably about
- 53:07Speaker 1: eight hundred? I think you had a right on TV.
- 53:13Speaker 1: Then then I moved up to my show. My next
- 53:17Speaker 1: special was One Man Jay. You was there for that
- 53:21Speaker 1: down in AUGUSTA. Yeah, I remember yellow suit. That was
- 53:26Speaker 1: to open who my hair. White folks had wonterful weekends,
- 53:36Speaker 1: White folks joke, I wrote, white folks had wonderful and
- 53:40Speaker 1: willa turning that evaluation. That's when I fell in love
- 53:43Speaker 1: with you. You know, how how were you million? How old?
- 54:04Speaker 1: Bring some comedies? This is why you don't work moments?
- 54:14Speaker 1: How many thirty? Man? Man? I'm sorry before older man
- 54:32Speaker 1: get frustrated. Horrible man. You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 54:46Speaker 1: Strawberry Letters coming up. You don't want to miss it.
- 54:49Speaker 1: But first I gotta tell you about this story. A
- 54:52Speaker 1: woman swallowed seven thousand dollars. Now, this is money she saved.
- 54:58Speaker 1: She was trying to hide it from her husband. They
- 55:01Speaker 1: were fighting. She didn't want her husband to know about
- 55:03Speaker 1: the money, so she swallowed the money. She got it
- 55:06Speaker 1: all down. Surgeons had to be called in. They had
- 55:10Speaker 1: to remove fifty seven one hundred dollar bills from the
- 55:14Speaker 1: inside of the woman's stomach and her intestines. Yeah, she
- 55:20Speaker 1: was going to use the money for a vacation with
- 55:22Speaker 1: her husband, but they got into a fight, so she
- 55:25Speaker 1: didn't want her hubby to know about the cash. So naturally,
- 55:27Speaker 1: I mean naturally, of course she swallowed the money. I mean,
- 55:30Speaker 1: you make perfect sense washed down with swallow? Oh boy?
- 55:43Speaker 1: So yeah, so again, you know, they removed fifty seven
- 55:46Speaker 1: hundred dollar bills from from her stomach and her intestines,
- 55:49Speaker 1: and he said the rest will pass through her colon.
- 55:53Speaker 1: Don't flush there, don't but it will come out in quarters.
- 55:59Speaker 1: The change you may change. Question it is that money
- 56:03Speaker 1: still good? Can you still use that money? Gonna have?
- 56:11Speaker 1: It's gonna be punging, girl. These ones are strong money.
- 56:19Speaker 1: So down a dollar bills. It's funking. We're gonna have
- 56:24Speaker 1: to watch. You have to watch, have to, but still
- 56:29Speaker 1: gonna be some stink on it. You're gonna have to
- 56:34Speaker 1: get them a little sandwich glue. You gotta get some
- 56:39Speaker 1: sandwich touching nothing. Oh god, what her husband said. It's
- 56:48Speaker 1: that time. Buckle up and hold on tight, strawberry, all right,
- 56:52Speaker 1: subject into deep. Hello Stephen Shirley. I have a situation.
- 56:57Speaker 1: In December of two thousand seven, I decided to write
- 56:59Speaker 1: an X that had been sent to prison. About a
- 57:02Speaker 1: week later, I received a response, but only it wasn't
- 57:05Speaker 1: from the intended recipient, although they share the same first
- 57:09Speaker 1: and last name. I had sent the letter to the
- 57:11Speaker 1: wrong man in parentheses. This man informed me that I
- 57:15Speaker 1: had the wrong guy. I decided to respond, thanking him
- 57:18Speaker 1: for letting me know of my era, but The thing is,
- 57:21Speaker 1: we're still communicating and I now have strong feelings for him.
- 57:25Speaker 1: Our relationship has grown to where he has asked me
- 57:28Speaker 1: to marry him once he is released. This is a
- 57:31Speaker 1: very intelligent man who was incarcerated do mostly to self inflictions,
- 57:36Speaker 1: but who has also realized the mistakes he has made
- 57:39Speaker 1: and the time he has and is currently wasting of
- 57:41Speaker 1: his life. To sum it all up, I think I've
- 57:44Speaker 1: gotten myself into deep. Tell me what should I do? Okay?
- 57:51Speaker 1: I know? I mean, yeah, first of all, what is
- 57:58Speaker 1: it with you in prison? Guys? That's number one? And
- 58:00Speaker 1: then yeah, you're right, you are in too deep, way
- 58:03Speaker 1: too deep. This is a man you have never seen. Uh,
- 58:07Speaker 1: you don't even know this man. This man writes nice letters.
- 58:11Speaker 1: You know, we can all agree on that. I think, Uh,
- 58:14Speaker 1: you know, you don't know, um if he can back
- 58:17Speaker 1: any of this stuff up that he's saying. You don't
- 58:19Speaker 1: know anything about this man. You know nothing, you know?
- 58:23Speaker 1: Please don't consider marrying this man. I mean, you know,
- 58:26Speaker 1: I can't stress it enough. You just don't know him,
- 58:28Speaker 1: and he's incarcerated do mostly to self inflictions. What does
- 58:32Speaker 1: that mean? Really? What does that mean? I mean you
- 58:35Speaker 1: need to reread your letter and you know, listen to
- 58:39Speaker 1: what you've written, say it aloud to yourself so you
- 58:42Speaker 1: can see how it sounds in your ear. Don't marry
- 58:44Speaker 1: this guy, don't consider its deep um Um. I'm really
- 58:50Speaker 1: throned off at this one. Yeah. First of all, I'm
- 58:53Speaker 1: conflicted to myself because I have a special affectionate feelings
- 58:59Speaker 1: for people. That saying carcerating because it's a it's a
- 59:03Speaker 1: terrible position to be in, and any contact with the
- 59:06Speaker 1: outside world is so very much appreciated. I wanna, I
- 59:10Speaker 1: wanna give you a little thing here. This is what
- 59:14Speaker 1: I know about men. Wherever man goes in emotionally in
- 59:19Speaker 1: terms of relationship, when he goes in, when he comes out,
- 59:25Speaker 1: he prison does not develop emotional bonds between men and women.
- 59:31Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying by that? Uh? If if
- 59:35Speaker 1: you know, if I give you an example, a guy
- 59:37Speaker 1: goes in at nineteen to prison, he gets out at
- 59:41Speaker 1: forty eight, What has happened in those thirty one years
- 59:47Speaker 1: that has made him better with women? Because time stands
- 59:51Speaker 1: still for you socially. When you go into prison, you
- 59:55Speaker 1: don't know what the latest where is the latest languages
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: you've had no practice talking with women, so you're really
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: in a frozen state. So sometimes a lot of guys
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: come out mentally nineteen years old. Relationship wise, they oftentimes
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: learned lessons, some of me and never learn but most
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: of them come out learn a lesson voul, never to
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: go back, blah blah blah blah blah. Problem is you
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: don't know this man. You you won't saying that where
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: you say in two thousand seven. So you've been writing
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: these letters for two years. Okay, you're falling in love,
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: but you were writing an X that had been sent
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: to prison. Then you got a letter from a guy
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: in prison with the same name. Now you don't fail
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: for him. You want to know what to do. First
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: of all, you need to quit writing prisons because you
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: don't even have information. You need to get inmates number
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: or something so you can stop this craziness you're into.
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: And while all your men, your ex and your current,
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: why are they all inmates? You was writing a dude
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: that was your ex, and now you're getting involved with
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: a dude that's already in I got he may be
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: a better person when he come out. All that could
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: be true, but is he better for you? Though? See. Oh,
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: he's admitted that he realized the mistakes he's made and
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: the time he has, and it's currently wasting his life.
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: Man can come to that in in lock up and
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: I got there. But is he better for you? What
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: you need to be asking yourself is, since he realizes
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: that he's wasting his life, you need to ask yourself
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: that same question. Are you wasting your life? Now? I
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: ain't knocking a woman that staying by the man when
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: they get locked up, right on, that's a good thing.
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: This ain't your man, though, you're gonna make him your
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: man when he gets out. He want to marry you already. Hell,
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: I don't know a dude that's locked up that don't
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: want to get married to somebody instead of sitting in
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: that damn saying hey, if they stay in that long enough,
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: they all marry each other. WHOA. I'm just telling you,
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: hold on if I said something that's ridiculous, excuse me,
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: you know. Okay, So lady, you gotta ask yourself what
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: do you really have now? You think you've gotten yourself
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: into deep? Tell me what should I do? Okay, when
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: we come back, I'll do that. But as if you
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: don't all mad anywhere and sold us to seven million people.
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: This this is ok alright, Well we'll come back and
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: go over the obvious. After you're listening to Steve Hardy
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: Morning Show. Get Ready, guys, comedy legend, our good friend
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: to the show. He's our family. He's going to be
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: our special guest. I'm talking about the one and only. Yeah,
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: gotta have it. He's at the Atlanta Theater this weekend
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: for Mother's Day. He's gonna be here. But come on,
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: Steve with your response to part two of this Strawberry letter.
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: You know, here's a line that threw me in this letter.
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: She said, Okay, this is the letter about a lady
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: that in two thousand and seven wrote an X that
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: had been sent to prison. Then a week later she
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: got a letter, but it wasn't from the intended inmate.
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: It was from another inmate with the same first and
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: last name. She sent a letter to the wrong man.
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: The guy informed me that I had the wrong guy.
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: But then she thanked him for letting me know that
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: and everything. But then they kept communicating and now she
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: got strong feelings for him. You know, ladies, I keep
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: telling you. You know, he didn't propose to him. He
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: want to marry and when he get out. I mean, look,
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: it's it's good to hang on the hope. And like
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: I said, I got a special effection for guys is
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: locked up, So I ain't dogging nobody. But lady, come on,
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: you was writing to your ex who was in prison.
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: You met a guy that's in prison, vacial man through letter.
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: Through a letter, a person can write anything they think
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: you want to hear. You need action in your life.
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: You need a person in your life that's gonna do something.
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: Let me just what make you walk back towards the
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: light for a minute. One of the things that I
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: talk about that a man has to do is profess, provide,
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: and protect from where he sits. He can only profess
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: his love for you. He can't provide you nothing, and
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: he definitely can't protect you. So now you are dating
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: a man who can't even demonstrate his love for you
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: in the three ways that we only know how to
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: demonstrate love, profess, protect, and provide. He can only do
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: one of them. And then when he gets out, can
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: I tell you something else? Your man ain't working now.
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: Most women who are free and have goods is don't
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: really like to pick me in that ain't working after
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: you thirty five, that's not a good. Now you meet
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: a guy twenty that ain't working. He's in college, Okay,
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: got it. But after that, the man needs to have
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: a job now, whatever the reason why he don't have one,
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: Please don't make that your problem. Your man has to
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: have a job or source of income or guess what, ladies,
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: You're gonna be taking care of him. And that's only
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: gonna work for you for about three weeks. True, you're
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: gonna be looking up his side. You can be looking
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: upside his head like he's straight crazy. All right. See,
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: we gotta go, We gotta get out of here. Email
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: on Instagram, on Today's Strawberry Letter, you do it at
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: my girls surely? Okay, at my girls, Shirley. That's Instagram, Facebook, Twitter,
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: All that at my girl, Shirley. Now, Steve, let's show
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: our girl. Grammy winning legend Patty LaBelle some love Okay,
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: Miss Patty, We love miss Day. She released her first
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: jazz album, her very first Yeah, it's called Belomage. Belomage.
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: The thirteen track album, which Patty recorded over a span
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: of a year and a half, feature standards such as
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: jazz and You moan and peel me a great Moody's
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: mood for love with Kim. You know that's gonna be good. Uh,
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: and here's to life. Patty, who has been recording and
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: performing for more than fifty years, grew up listening to
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: and loving many of the songs featured on Belomage. However,
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: she never seriously considered tackling the jazz genre until recently.
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: I think that's surprising. Yea, yeah, yeah, yeah. I had
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: her on my show. You know I didn't know you
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: wasn'tupposed to say to h on homage. Oh man, that's
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: pronounced it wrong. Yeah, because I always thought you paid
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: homage to somebody. Yeah, and so our So we had
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: to we had to do five retakes five so well,
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: but she kept leaving the h. There it off teleprom
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: She just took the H out, Oh okay, and then
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: you got it. M Yeah, Patty says her husband. Her
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: ex husband Armstead, has been telling her for years that
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: she should do a jazz album, but she was nervous
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: about trying something different. Uh. This is a very busy
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: time for Patty. She turned seventy three this month birthday,
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: We Love You. She's also released her sixth book and
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: her fourth cookbook, Desserts LaBelle and that's my favorite name.
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: I love that name for a dessert book. She's killing,
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: She's killing in Walmart and these other people, man, they
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: need to they need to lay off Patty. You know.
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: You know what I you know what I dislike about
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: social media and say some of these young people don't
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: have respect. And there there is a thing called respect.
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: It's a respect level that I owe to Richard Pride.
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: There's a respect level that I owe to build cost
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: you regardless of what you think, there's a respect level
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: I owe him. You know, there's a respect level that
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: I owe you know, even even a George Wallace, you
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: know who put me on a j Anthony Brown who
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: taught it to me when I got out there. These
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: there's a respect level. You know. We can kid around,
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: but at the end of the day, you have to
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: have a respect for these people. Man, it's just not there.
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: Sometimes people dog Patty Labone and stuff. They don't understand Chap.
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: That is a respect level that should come with this
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: woman and especially for us. But we are so busy
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: in to each other down business. We we we we
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: just man. We we were saying case right now. But
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: our parents taught us those things were taught. You have
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: to be taught with yeah, and respect for our elders.
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: You had to respect people and and like you say,
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: people who came before you steve things like that you have.
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: That's how we were taught, you know. And we as parents,
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: we have to teach our kids that we really do ye.
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: I mean, look, people who've been around a long time,
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: they get a pass on some stuff because if you
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: don't know the story about the people, then they should
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: get a pass because of their history. Just they workload,
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: they prior, they prior work. Man, nobody gets nothing. Look, man,
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: we're not wrap artists where you just judged by your
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: nick by your current hit. You know, if you don't
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: have a current hit out now, they just write you off.
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: Hey man, Frankie Beverly had to hit out. And I
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: don't know when we're still going to see. We still
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: want to see, We still gonna see Dona roll. The
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: respect for the gap, for what the love and the
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: songs they gave us. When you you go out there
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: and you ain't hot, now, man, you can't sell a
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: ticket out. They don't respect the process, all right, Coming up,
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: our friend, comedy legend, George Wallace is in the building,
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: our special guest legend stand up, one of my faux
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: fathers off stand up family member to the Morning Show.
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: Still s in the country with his sold out comedy shows,
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: and he got a big date coming up in Atlanta
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: this weekend. He's over the new TV show and he's
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: in a movie. He got a lot to tell us
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: about legends. General Fleed waking one and only George Wallace.
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: You don't know not Brown his real name. You know
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: that he didn't like it, called about who's that over that?
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: That's black? What's the name? What's the name? He tanged
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: to Brown that black loved him? Mercy you hun? Jay?
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: Answer is black? This is this is just a what
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: do you say that ye're not joined? Get ready for it?
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: He ain't never worked fifteen days and a boar. This
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: is he gonna tell you about. He got little illnesses
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: like if you don't get ready for that? Okay, His
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: grandmama had sugar mama be brown. He had type one.

- 1:11:49Speaker 1: Ain't right? And I know over the weekend. I know,
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: over the weekend he had to say something about my

- 1:12:19Speaker 1: But somehow they wind up down on the track. I
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: don't don't ask me no questions. Okay, they wound up
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: in the race. My mama real name is wind Blow Wallace,
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: but they called her eight and she ran in the
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: race about eight years ago. Day mama ran on the
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: name Big Brown. Y'all remember that mama finished and she
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: fought it, and my mama died like sick Brown fought

- 1:13:02Speaker 1: years of college. He worked hard, seven years of college. See,
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: I gotta make sure my mama has more block. Wasn't
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: her grave than anybody else. I do that every Mother's day.
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: When I do, I go down to the cemetery about
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: four or five o'clock after everybody ever gone. John, you
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: know I do. I put him my mama, no know,
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: turning open her grave. But turning open you can get

- 1:13:47Speaker 1: other show that life steamed. Man. They were beating him.
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: Tom was beating this that he was. They made work
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: over time, they made him from him want to to

- 1:24:05Speaker 1: already know. I already know where it's going because I'm
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: gonna get mad because you can't say nothing about him.
- 1:24:09Speaker 1: You just can't nothing. So I don't. I don't mess
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: with nothing. I don't mess with yours. I can't say
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: about mine, and then and then we'll be good. So
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: what's too heavy? Like you know, like your mama was
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: so stupid, none of that. You don't want none of it.
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: She got locked in the furniture stow and slept on
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: the floor. You know that dog Steve, Dog Steve your
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: mama right there, right there, right right there, your mama. Okay,
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: I'll stay out of that. We'll be back, y'all. Don't
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: go away. We got more. You're listening to Steve Harvey
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: Morning Show. Pennsylvania man guys probably wishes he could be
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: playing possum right about now. Since he burned down his
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: house with a fire. He started to scare off some possums. Okay,
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: uh what I guess they were all over his house
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: and he just wanted, you know, the light of fire
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: scared the apostums off. But the house can't run about possum.
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: You can't shoot away upon they don't not afraid of
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: and they don't run, they don't. They just don't. Why
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: aren't there, Fred? What's scared? Well? He thought fire was.
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: The man whose name was not released, was frustrated because
- 1:25:27Speaker 1: he couldn't dislodge the critters from his yard, so he
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: sprayed a large pile of leaves with butane, struck a match,
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: and started to blaze what steve quickly spread. He had
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: a wooden one of those wooden row houses. It burned
- 1:25:44Speaker 1: to the ground. According to the official fire department report,
- 1:25:48Speaker 1: his intention was to use the smoke from the burning
- 1:25:51Speaker 1: leaves to hopefully scare away the possum, but no word
- 1:25:55Speaker 1: as to whether or not that part of the plan
- 1:25:57Speaker 1: actually works. So the house has gone, but the possums
- 1:25:59Speaker 1: are still there. Take it from you can't that? How
- 1:26:04Speaker 1: long before that fire is going? When you go all?
- 1:26:08Speaker 1: At what point do you do? Oh lord? Your out
- 1:26:12Speaker 1: burned ground? The posts are moving. Oh lord, it's crazy.
- 1:26:19Speaker 1: Those are some of the scariest raccoons. They just don't
- 1:26:23Speaker 1: They just raccoons are not afraid. The little yeah, they're
- 1:26:28Speaker 1: like people. Yeah, all that's out there. You know, there's
- 1:26:31Speaker 1: some things you could put down. They got snake repellent.
- 1:26:33Speaker 1: You could buy this repellet form that's white pellet. It's
- 1:26:39Speaker 1: a snake repelling. You should always have that around your
- 1:26:43Speaker 1: yard to protect the deers from eating your flowers. There's
- 1:26:47Speaker 1: blossoming in your yard. There's a very pungent spray. But
- 1:26:51Speaker 1: here they don't. They don't eat the flower. With me.
- 1:26:54Speaker 1: You can't stay in the dance man, you can't stand not.
- 1:27:00Speaker 1: I don't either want it. Y'all want the damn flowers. Raccoons,
- 1:27:06Speaker 1: because the only way to get rid of a raccoon.
- 1:27:09Speaker 1: I don't know if anything that's natural that you can
- 1:27:11Speaker 1: get rid of raccoons. They have something. It's just you
- 1:27:14Speaker 1: have to try to poison them. But then that's crazy
- 1:27:16Speaker 1: because you're out there where they need Actually, yeah, exactly,
- 1:27:20Speaker 1: because California's hilly, mountainous, you know. You know the best
- 1:27:24Speaker 1: thing you could do is just make your trash unaccessible
- 1:27:28Speaker 1: by those very resistant garbage cans and nothing can get
- 1:27:33Speaker 1: in there, possum raccoon. But let me tell you what
- 1:27:37Speaker 1: over there for is a sauce of food. Tell me
- 1:27:39Speaker 1: if you if I can get rid of them dogs
- 1:27:41Speaker 1: on frogs, frogs, and I'm talking about later at night.
- 1:27:46Speaker 1: They just don't stop. It's not they're mating calls. I
- 1:27:51Speaker 1: don't know what they don't. Somebody says they were mating.
- 1:27:54Speaker 1: That's that's their mating call because they are allowed. I
- 1:27:57Speaker 1: have those. What about lizards? Don't bother me that my feet.
- 1:28:06Speaker 1: Nothing crawling should be in the house. Nothing on lizards station,
- 1:28:09Speaker 1: nothing for lizards. Those my patio pellets. The pellets. I've
- 1:28:17Speaker 1: heard that if you've got squirrels like at it, you
- 1:28:19Speaker 1: put mothballs down they don't like the smell of it,
- 1:28:22Speaker 1: and then tell when him come down with them all.
- 1:28:31Speaker 1: What is this about ants? Is very natural? You could
- 1:28:35Speaker 1: get rid of ants naturally. You know. I bought ant
- 1:28:38Speaker 1: because I ain't got no time. But if you put
- 1:28:40Speaker 1: down cinnamon, as is gone. Yeah, man, they cannot deal
- 1:28:46Speaker 1: with Let's just just try it at you. How next
- 1:28:49Speaker 1: time you see a powder of ants on something, put
- 1:28:51Speaker 1: some centamon on it. They're gone. We're gonna talk Floyd Mayweather.
- 1:28:54Speaker 1: He's done something special when we come back. Okay, Lloyd
- 1:29:00Speaker 1: Mayweather has announced to get this guy's he wants to
- 1:29:03Speaker 1: be a part of the n b A all right,
- 1:29:07Speaker 1: Floyd Money. Mayweather has posted a photo of him himself
- 1:29:11Speaker 1: shaking hands with Magic Johnson with the caption just had
- 1:29:14Speaker 1: a great meeting with at Magic Johnson. It's about time
- 1:29:17Speaker 1: for me to buy an NBA team. If you're ready
- 1:29:20Speaker 1: to sell your NBA team, please get in touch with me.
- 1:29:23Speaker 1: I love it. Yes. Hashtag TMT, hashtag Michigan hashtag living legends. Businessmen. Yeah,
- 1:29:33Speaker 1: but but some are reporting most league owners are billionaires,
- 1:29:36Speaker 1: and while Mayweather has made a few hundred million during
- 1:29:40Speaker 1: his career, it seems like he'll have to stack up
- 1:29:42Speaker 1: some more money, some more cheese, uh and find or
- 1:29:46Speaker 1: either he could just find more partners, Steve, if he's
- 1:29:48Speaker 1: serious about purchasing a team, what you wouldn't be interested
- 1:29:53Speaker 1: in going in partners? You have to have partners. No,
- 1:29:56Speaker 1: you could be a partner. You don't want to go
- 1:29:58Speaker 1: in with them? No, I don't have a kind of
- 1:30:00Speaker 1: I ain't got for me. The Lakers, they gotta be
- 1:30:06Speaker 1: real cheap. Any how much you seven dollars thinking about
- 1:30:16Speaker 1: buying a team. No, it's not. I mean Floyd is
- 1:30:19Speaker 1: a smart businessman. Him and his boy Hayman they're absolutely
- 1:30:23Speaker 1: brilliant and uh, you know, but people don't pick up
- 1:30:26Speaker 1: the phone to go here. You won't buy a team
- 1:30:28Speaker 1: and then make a lot of scrutiny too. It's a
- 1:30:30Speaker 1: lot of scrutiny. And if his background check will pass
- 1:30:34Speaker 1: to scrutiny that they go to buy a team. It's
- 1:30:36Speaker 1: a lot of good old boys, yea, And they're not
- 1:30:41Speaker 1: you know what I mean. I love may Well, don't
- 1:30:42Speaker 1: give me more. I think he didn't time though, so
- 1:30:45Speaker 1: it would it be hard, It'll be hard. They don't.
- 1:30:48Speaker 1: They don't let that go, man, not with buying an NBA.
- 1:30:51Speaker 1: It's making too much money. Man, they will not let
- 1:30:54Speaker 1: that go. You're having a record at all like that.
- 1:30:57Speaker 1: I don't know if they'll let it go. Even if
- 1:30:59Speaker 1: he's turned his life around. And oh he's a great guy.
- 1:31:02Speaker 1: I love he's a brilliant young businessman. I just don't
- 1:31:08Speaker 1: know if the league is going to allow that. You know,
- 1:31:10Speaker 1: they stopped Rushing Limbaugh from purchasing into a football team
- 1:31:15Speaker 1: because of his views. So they they're they they're all
- 1:31:19Speaker 1: they gotta do is find a couple of owners to
- 1:31:21Speaker 1: say no and then you out. That's all they need.
- 1:31:24Speaker 1: That's like being in the billionaires club for real. Yeah,
- 1:31:27Speaker 1: and Donald Sterling kind of messed it up lately with
- 1:31:29Speaker 1: his statements. So now an NBA has to really protect
- 1:31:33Speaker 1: their image because they can't had a bad boy image around.
- 1:31:36Speaker 1: And the Magic is the president of the Lakers right now,
- 1:31:40Speaker 1: I think me Ja and Junior and Uncle Steve could
- 1:31:43Speaker 1: really go in and buy us when the lingerie football game,
- 1:31:47Speaker 1: now we get one of the man are his pants?
- 1:31:51Speaker 1: I love that show. Good, so good. I just don't
- 1:31:58Speaker 1: know if I's stronger than me because I can't even
- 1:32:02Speaker 1: you know, tell him what to do. You ain't in
- 1:32:04Speaker 1: the game. Just buy the Panis That's all you gotta do.
- 1:32:06Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying. It was so stupid. I'm
- 1:32:12Speaker 1: not doing you. You can't do Panis not You're so
- 1:32:18Speaker 1: big you can't do the best Sid and dumb he's
- 1:32:28Speaker 1: calling you guys, listen to me. Does the league make money?
- 1:32:33Speaker 1: I don't care. I just want to get tackled by
- 1:32:37Speaker 1: one of them. We should just run out there after
- 1:32:40Speaker 1: every place. We're trying to make money all the time.
- 1:32:42Speaker 1: Just about Penis change man. We'll be back to close
- 1:32:49Speaker 1: out the show after this. I tried, we back. We
