- 1:24Speaker 1: You gotta turn to turn them out. Turn you haven't
- 1:43Speaker 1: got to turn them out. Turn the water the water.
- 1:55Speaker 1: Come come on your baby, that it h I shall
- 2:02Speaker 1: will a good morning everybody. You're listening to the voice,
- 2:06Speaker 1: Come on dig me now one it only Steve Harvey
- 2:09Speaker 1: got a radio show. Okay. I want to talk to
- 2:17Speaker 1: you today about success. But I want to talk to
- 2:23Speaker 1: you about it like I usually do in terms of
- 2:26Speaker 1: a principle of it, but I want to share something
- 2:30Speaker 1: with you about it. And I was talking to my
- 2:34Speaker 1: daughter about it. I've talked about my son in law
- 2:37Speaker 1: about it, talking about it with all my children, and
- 2:40Speaker 1: I'm really starting to express it to them now because
- 2:43Speaker 1: I'm talking to a wide range of people constantly. But
- 2:47Speaker 1: I want to share something with you. If you have
- 2:50Speaker 1: any aspiration of being successful, I want you to realize,
- 2:55Speaker 1: starting right now, the effort that is going to require
- 3:00Speaker 1: and that's why I think it stops a lot of people.
- 3:03Speaker 1: I think a lot of people are never told or
- 3:06Speaker 1: don't understand the sheer effort that's that it takes to
- 3:10Speaker 1: become successful at anything, in any area of your life.
- 3:15Speaker 1: If you think that doing your best is enough, that
- 3:19Speaker 1: I got news for you. It's not. Well, Steve, what
- 3:23Speaker 1: if you've done your best, though, and your best ain't
- 3:27Speaker 1: good enough? Well, let me ask you that same question.
- 3:31Speaker 1: Hold on. If you want to be successful and you've
- 3:34Speaker 1: done your best and best isn't good enough, what you through?
- 3:37Speaker 1: That's it? But Steve, it was my best? No no, no, no.
- 3:42Speaker 1: It was the best you had at that time, in
- 3:45Speaker 1: that particular day. But tomorrow add something to it. You've
- 3:52Speaker 1: never done everything. There is no you can't go no more,
- 3:56Speaker 1: you can't add no more. I've seen marathon runners end
- 4:00Speaker 1: up crawling across the line. I've seen triouth line people
- 4:04Speaker 1: man just staggering in the street and didn't want nobody
- 4:07Speaker 1: to help them because they knew that would disqualify them
- 4:10Speaker 1: from the race. You got more? Have you ever dipped
- 4:16Speaker 1: into your reserve tank? That's what we're talking about now. See,
- 4:21Speaker 1: all of us have a reserve tank. You know. I
- 4:24Speaker 1: You know, on my ranch, I like to ride four wheelers.
- 4:27Speaker 1: I have all terrain vehicles and all of them have
- 4:30Speaker 1: a gas tank on it and a gas tank and
- 4:33Speaker 1: most of mine let me see all of them. Yeah,
- 4:35Speaker 1: all of them have gas tank needles on them, and
- 4:38Speaker 1: it lets me know. When I get down towards eat
- 4:41Speaker 1: there's a little lane that's read that lets me know. Okay, Steve,
- 4:46Speaker 1: you're in the danger zone. Now you're riding into the
- 4:48Speaker 1: lowest part of your tank. But if I keep riding
- 4:51Speaker 1: and I forget to get some gas in there, guess
- 4:54Speaker 1: what when it runs out of gas. All of my
- 4:58Speaker 1: all terrain vehicles, all of them, Honda Polaris, all of them.
- 5:04Speaker 1: Those are the makers. There's a button on the gas
- 5:07Speaker 1: tank itself that I can click and it says reserve.
- 5:12Speaker 1: That means they know that for the hardcore riders, they're
- 5:18Speaker 1: gonna ride somewhere and they're gonna get themselves in a
- 5:20Speaker 1: situation and they're gonna run out of everything. They're gonna
- 5:24Speaker 1: run out of road, they're gonna run out of gas.
- 5:27Speaker 1: They've prepared because they know for the hardcore rider, every
- 5:31Speaker 1: hardcore rider needs a reserve tank. And so there's a
- 5:35Speaker 1: button that you can click on the gas tank that
- 5:38Speaker 1: clicks it into a reserve, and it will give you
- 5:40Speaker 1: about fifty miles or twenty miles worth of gas in
- 5:45Speaker 1: that Now, guess what in that reserve. That may be
- 5:49Speaker 1: all you need to get you the where you're going,
- 5:52Speaker 1: or get you back to safety so you can refuel.
- 5:55Speaker 1: Don't tell me you've done your best. When your best
- 5:59Speaker 1: don't cut it. You're gonna do see when best is possible,
- 6:05Speaker 1: then good enough ain't enough. See that's good enough. But
- 6:09Speaker 1: if the best is possible, why would you not shoot
- 6:12Speaker 1: for that? And you you are all capable of making it.
- 6:16Speaker 1: But you've got to change your mind set and realize
- 6:19Speaker 1: the effort that has to be put forth in becoming successful.
- 6:24Speaker 1: You've got to do it relentlessly, over and over and
- 6:27Speaker 1: over and over and every day. I try to do
- 6:30Speaker 1: something to progress my life for the better. I try
- 6:34Speaker 1: to do something every day. I wake up every day
- 6:37Speaker 1: with the plan. Some phone calls, some meetings, some some
- 6:40Speaker 1: some interviews. Something man that's going to advance and move
- 6:45Speaker 1: the brand forward. Because here's what's gonna happen. You are
- 6:48Speaker 1: Let's say you reach your goal. Let's say your goal
- 6:51Speaker 1: is to make one hundred thousand dollars. Well, I got
- 6:56Speaker 1: news for you. Listen to this. When you make the
- 6:59Speaker 1: one hundred thousand dollars, you can't go on noway and
- 7:02Speaker 1: go on vacation and put your hand behind your head
- 7:05Speaker 1: and say I made a hundred thousand dollars. Guess what
- 7:07Speaker 1: you got to do. You got to find a way
- 7:10Speaker 1: now to maintain that one hundred thousand, to keep it
- 7:13Speaker 1: coming in. So you can't just get there and stop
- 7:17Speaker 1: and rest and whoa. It is harder to maintain your
- 7:21Speaker 1: success than it is to get successful. See let's say,
- 7:26Speaker 1: let me let me show you this. Suppose it takes
- 7:27Speaker 1: you five to eight years to find a way to
- 7:34Speaker 1: make fifty thousand dollars. Let's say it takes you five
- 7:37Speaker 1: to eight years to find a way to make an
- 7:39Speaker 1: extra fifty thousand dollars, and you finally, through work and effort,
- 7:44Speaker 1: you get to the fifty thousand dollars. All that's that's
- 7:49Speaker 1: it's only just begun now, because guess what, in order
- 7:52Speaker 1: to keep the fifty coming in, you got to duplicate
- 7:57Speaker 1: what you did to get there, and then, oh, here's
- 8:01Speaker 1: what you're going to have the audacity being a human being,
- 8:04Speaker 1: You're gonna want another fifty because you're a human being,
- 8:09Speaker 1: because you gotta have something else to shoot for. Now
- 8:12Speaker 1: you're gonna want another fifty. Well, now that guess what
- 8:14Speaker 1: you gotta do. Now, Now you gotta do what you
- 8:16Speaker 1: did before, plus you gotta come up with something else.
- 8:20Speaker 1: Then after that, you're gonna have the audacity. Because you're humans,
- 8:23Speaker 1: you're gonna want another fifty. Says how this works? And
- 8:29Speaker 1: see that that's the that's the importance of your relationship
- 8:33Speaker 1: with God, because you're gonna constantly need it and ain't
- 8:36Speaker 1: over a point where you're gonna be through needing it.
- 8:39Speaker 1: But there ain't gonna become a point in your life
- 8:40Speaker 1: where you're gonna through. Won't through, be through, won't nothing
- 8:43Speaker 1: unless you just gave up. And if you don't gave up,
- 8:45Speaker 1: who wants that? Come on, y'all, this is going to
- 8:49Speaker 1: take quite a bit of effort, and if you think
- 8:53Speaker 1: it will come to you any other way, you're sadly mistaken.
- 8:57Speaker 1: Because of all the successful people I know, I know
- 9:00Speaker 1: that the effort they put out on a daily basis
- 9:02Speaker 1: is daunting, and I think that the average person just
- 9:05Speaker 1: doesn't understand the requirement of time and effort that it
- 9:09Speaker 1: takes to get that and willingness to put it out.
- 9:13Speaker 1: You gotta cut a lot of monkey business out your life.
- 9:16Speaker 1: All that hanging out, all that late and all that
- 9:19Speaker 1: club and all that drinking, all that. You gotta cut
- 9:22Speaker 1: a whole lot of monkey business out to be successful. Man,
- 9:27Speaker 1: if you're planning on being successful, get up early, stay
- 9:31Speaker 1: up late, work, try, think, meet, greet, smile, attract. It
- 9:37Speaker 1: takes a lot, let's go, but you can do it.
- 9:40Speaker 1: God is pressed to plassing out blessings all day long.
- 9:43Speaker 1: Why are you not in line for yours? I'm telling
- 9:46Speaker 1: you right now I want everything God got for me,
- 9:49Speaker 1: because what He's shown me so far whol if he
- 9:52Speaker 1: got some mo man on man, how good is God? Huh?
- 10:01Speaker 1: Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, man, have your attention please.
- 10:04Speaker 1: This is the Steve Harvey Morty Show Today. Today's show
- 10:08Speaker 1: is dedicated to people who during who during the time change,
- 10:15Speaker 1: realized that it didn't just change for them? WHOA, that's who.
- 10:20Speaker 1: This show is dedicated down to the people who got
- 10:25Speaker 1: the notification of the time change and realize that it
- 10:30Speaker 1: wasn't just happened thrown into something. The boy into side,
- 10:39Speaker 1: we're going back, throw me all off. My light was
- 10:44Speaker 1: supposed to be. I thought, you know, when they did that,
- 10:49Speaker 1: my alarm went off different. When did they do that?
- 10:56Speaker 1: What time was that? Wouldn't they start doing that? And
- 11:01Speaker 1: so that made me think in my mind, because you know,
- 11:04Speaker 1: my body is adjusted. My body was adjusted to the
- 11:07Speaker 1: other time. So when it went back, I figured I
- 11:10Speaker 1: ain't had to be that yet. I'm thinking on the
- 11:13Speaker 1: other time. I didn't know that there was the time,
- 11:17Speaker 1: right man? Right? So what am I supposed to do
- 11:26Speaker 1: about what's going on in me? Anybody? Anybody addressing that?
- 11:34Speaker 1: I got you charged at time? What is it? That's
- 11:37Speaker 1: what about? What's going on in me? I'm in the
- 11:41Speaker 1: other time and y'all in a different time to him,
- 11:46Speaker 1: I was Time'm supposed to be brought up to the time.
- 11:48Speaker 1: Y'all on. So ain't nobody gonna stay back here with nobody?
- 11:53Speaker 1: Nobody gonna come back and get me in my time running?
- 11:57Speaker 1: It's just me. That's that's why I'm not here today. Ignorant,
- 12:08Speaker 1: Good morning, Steve, callin Forrell. What time is it? Good ignorant?

- 12:32Speaker 1: that I didn't say isn't here because you said the
- 12:38Speaker 1: time change, so come off. Yeah, that's why he ain't
- 12:43Speaker 1: here today. I'm not there. The name I didn't say,
- 12:48Speaker 1: But if you didn't hear me say a name, it's
- 12:50Speaker 1: caused the time fold me off too. That was Saturday night.
- 12:54Speaker 1: This is Monday. Yeah. The people that don't work for
- 12:57Speaker 1: their uncle, Oh man, it must be nice. So this morning,
- 13:06Speaker 1: and excuse me. With all the time changing, I am
- 13:11Speaker 1: not out of Shaga and not in Dubai anymore, but
- 13:14Speaker 1: I'm now in Botswanna and I'm still at work this morning.
- 13:19Speaker 1: Time realized they had told a lot of people about it,
- 13:25Speaker 1: so I weren't gonna be able to use that after
- 13:27Speaker 1: excuse All right, listen, hang on to that Steve coming
- 13:33Speaker 1: up in thirty two minutes after the hour we're doing,
- 13:36Speaker 1: we'll do our weekend review. We'll find out what the
- 13:38Speaker 1: crew did over the weekend. That's coming up right after
- 13:40Speaker 1: this fight. You're listening to show, Hi ignorant show? When
- 13:49Speaker 1: you got here? Right? We just what time is? It's
- 13:54Speaker 1: on your phone? It's on your phone, it goes back automatically. Okay,
- 14:00Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you this though, Shellley, what's on this
- 14:02Speaker 1: phone ain't got nothing to do with what's in me.
- 14:10Speaker 1: Inside of me? Yeah, I figure out what Tommy had
- 14:15Speaker 1: worked out in his mind. That's why he ain't here today.
- 14:18Speaker 1: And they gonna tell us the time changed, Steve. Every
- 14:24Speaker 1: now and then Tommy does revert back to how it
- 14:26Speaker 1: used to be. Got on the show. He really so triful.
- 14:31Speaker 1: Y'all don't know that this man has changed. Yes, yeah
- 14:35Speaker 1: he had. But this dude man, at least minimum twice
- 14:39Speaker 1: a week was late or not there. I was calling
- 14:42Speaker 1: him on the air, waking him. What you what you want,
- 14:46Speaker 1: getting on his nerves. Yeah, it's early, Um, what what
- 14:53Speaker 1: is it you want? The morning show? No, it's called
- 14:58Speaker 1: the morning show. We could we get up early. Our job, right,
- 15:03Speaker 1: that's when we wake people up and put them in
- 15:05Speaker 1: a good mood. Our job is getting off to school
- 15:08Speaker 1: to work on their way home and put a smile
- 15:11Speaker 1: on their face. That's what Steve is dedicated to do.
- 15:14Speaker 1: Now we just first people. Hear us, it's time to
- 15:18Speaker 1: get up. So yeah, yes, it didn't work for Tommy.
- 15:22Speaker 1: That morning. Yeah. Steve used to call them all the time.
- 15:28Speaker 1: What do you want? I'm sleep and here we're we're
- 15:32Speaker 1: at work today. Yeah, this is what ten twelve years later,
- 15:39Speaker 1: more than that, right, you are who you are? Yeah?
- 15:45Speaker 1: He with the time in mething with you with my
- 15:52Speaker 1: Botswana experience today. God, today inside of a building, I
- 15:58Speaker 1: met my first African army aunt. Huh what when I
- 16:07Speaker 1: came in to work this morning in the building on
- 16:11Speaker 1: the floor was huge. I'd never seen one in person
- 16:15Speaker 1: like that. I met my first African army aunt. How huge?
- 16:20Speaker 1: Because answer even answer, no, you take your take? You know,
- 16:26Speaker 1: you know the big black aunt youpc? Uh huh? About
- 16:30Speaker 1: four of them? What that's war together? Makes one? Yeah?
- 16:37Speaker 1: And and the guy said, be careful. It's a pretty
- 16:40Speaker 1: nasty bike. It's pretty Did he say something so well?
- 16:46Speaker 1: He told me. He told me welcome to Bartswana. And
- 16:50Speaker 1: glad was the aunt was aware. The aunt was aware
- 16:58Speaker 1: of the time change too. I want to tell you
- 17:02Speaker 1: that tell me will not be there to my room. Okay,
- 17:07Speaker 1: the African they know about them over there, So now
- 17:11Speaker 1: I can only imagine the size of this thing. A
- 17:16Speaker 1: million of them coming in a swan across the village
- 17:21Speaker 1: running up on the animal. It's you have no chance
- 17:25Speaker 1: you have really Steve. Yeah, I re mem Botswana. We
- 17:30Speaker 1: got in our early early early this morning, and I
- 17:34Speaker 1: came straight in to do the radio show from here,
- 17:37Speaker 1: and my team is here, and I think I'm gonna
- 17:41Speaker 1: do a little bit uh taping here. I'm here for
- 17:46Speaker 1: the African Diamond Council and the Women's Conference, and I'm
- 17:51Speaker 1: gonna I may, I may show a couple of really
- 17:54Speaker 1: nice things from bot Swaller. But it's just been an
- 17:57Speaker 1: amazing trip for me on the ground, you know. And
- 18:00Speaker 1: you know what my son taught me this weekend that
- 18:03Speaker 1: I didn't know about Instagram. Instagram is a highlight wheel
- 18:09Speaker 1: of your life. It only shows the highlights. It shows
- 18:15Speaker 1: only the brightest baller moments that that person has. They
- 18:20Speaker 1: don't show the darkness. They don't show the sad moments.
- 18:24Speaker 1: They don't show the you know, for the most part,
- 18:26Speaker 1: the gloom. They don't show the journey there. It's just
- 18:29Speaker 1: a highlight reel and it's got a lot of people
- 18:33Speaker 1: messed up, man, because you're looking at the highlight reel going, man,
- 18:37Speaker 1: they have this magnificent life. This is what they showed you.
- 18:42Speaker 1: They didn't. They showed you. They just got that one
- 18:44Speaker 1: new dress. It's they was in a certain spot they
- 18:47Speaker 1: took the picture. But what what the other twenty four
- 18:52Speaker 1: three hours in the day. And I never really looked
- 18:55Speaker 1: at Instagram like that. It's a highlight reel. I never
- 18:58Speaker 1: really looked at it like that. The informative information it
- 19:03Speaker 1: really is. It's a highlight. Man. Okay, so you're gonna
- 19:06Speaker 1: show some highlights of your trip on the gram. You're saying, No,
- 19:10Speaker 1: I'm gonna start. I'm gonna change Instagram with me. I'm
- 19:12Speaker 1: gonna show the low lights there you go real? Yeah, yeah,
- 19:19Speaker 1: I'm gonna keep it real. I'm I'm gonna do a
- 19:21Speaker 1: Instagram low lights. You know, are there any lowlights? Well?
- 19:26Speaker 1: Maybe the ants? Please put a picture of the ants
- 19:28Speaker 1: on there. That's a huge an. I want to see it.
- 19:33Speaker 1: I don't I don't care for bugs, but I do
- 19:35Speaker 1: want to see that. This is the big an. It's huge. Yeah.
- 19:39Speaker 1: I kill yeah, you killed well after this? Yeah, time
- 19:48Speaker 1: I'm up here. Oh no, he come up with and
- 19:51Speaker 1: roll upon my ankle, invite me and I could have
- 19:53Speaker 1: had got him out of here. Yeah yeah, no, oh me,
- 19:58Speaker 1: I'm so Joe almost so Joe. So when I saw
- 20:10Speaker 1: here Russell fight soldier the soldier. All right, we're coming
- 20:15Speaker 1: up next, Coming up next, Reverend Motown and Reverend Adnoid
- 20:21Speaker 1: are in the building for church complaints. That's coming up
- 20:24Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening to show coming up at
- 20:30Speaker 1: the top of the hour. In entertainment news, the President
- 20:32Speaker 1: got a mix of booze and some cheers at the
- 20:35Speaker 1: UFC match in New York. Those booze are getting louder
- 20:39Speaker 1: and louder, aren't saying, and the President has announced that
- 20:42Speaker 1: he is moving out of the state of New York.
- 20:45Speaker 1: But right now in it is Monday, and we're in
- 20:48Speaker 1: church with Rebend Motown and Reverend Adnoid with today's church complaints.
- 20:54Speaker 1: Let's go o old old gracious we we are here
- 21:07Speaker 1: on this blessing Monday morning. We gavel or to hell
- 21:14Speaker 1: and registeraris the complaintonists, the ill for mcgofness, wait of
- 21:24Speaker 1: the beligible people. This is an ungrateful lest this bunch
- 21:32Speaker 1: I've ever seen. And here the deal with these church complaints.
- 21:39Speaker 1: My oldest and dearest brother, a man whose nasal passages
- 21:45Speaker 1: has been blocked since we was babies. My mama never
- 21:55Speaker 1: wiped his nose. And there we have him, Ladies and gentlemen,
- 22:01Speaker 1: my brother or sitting there for deacon death jail. Reverend
- 22:05Speaker 1: add now, good voters. Everybody needed death. Jaimman is a
- 22:11Speaker 1: little confused about the time. But we'll deal with that
- 22:15Speaker 1: at another time. We're not gonna take time to deal
- 22:18Speaker 1: with that. Now, we'll deal with that at another time.
- 22:21Speaker 1: These are church complaints. But before we do church complaints,
- 22:26Speaker 1: I have a church announcement, one church anosement. Missus White
- 22:30Speaker 1: Lord Wallace were like, everybody didn't know she did take
- 22:34Speaker 1: off her Halloween costume. It is off for the church.
- 22:41Speaker 1: Miller's stop saying, well, when you're gonna take off, it's off?
- 22:44Speaker 1: She already alight. All right, Here we go to church complaints.
- 22:56Speaker 1: The senior choir would like to know, Pastor, how come
- 23:01Speaker 1: their selection always gets bumped from the church program. They
- 23:05Speaker 1: want to know why they practice their rehearse and they
- 23:09Speaker 1: every Sunday we run out of time. Could you please
- 23:13Speaker 1: explain that they don't get them every Sunday? Well, everything
- 23:19Speaker 1: you know. You cut us back to the senior choir.
- 23:22Speaker 1: As the choir, they gets bumped off the number one
- 23:27Speaker 1: half of No I'm not gonna be careful. I'm gonna
- 23:31Speaker 1: be critical. Number one, half of them forgets their robes
- 23:36Speaker 1: and that it is their Sunday. Half of them, even
- 23:41Speaker 1: though they've been at rehearsal, forgets half the songs, and
- 23:46Speaker 1: then half of them can't sing right. So now, if
- 23:51Speaker 1: it's time to bump anybody, it's gonna be the senior
- 23:55Speaker 1: choid that answers that question right there? Think you so much?
- 24:00Speaker 1: The backsliders of the church would like to ask you,
- 24:04Speaker 1: and asking you since they're having a problem keeping up
- 24:07Speaker 1: with all ten of the commarments. They're having a problem,
- 24:11Speaker 1: could we cut it down to eight? If if we
- 24:19Speaker 1: would discussion. But I'm I'm gonna say no to that,
- 24:30Speaker 1: even though I understand answer. I'm going to say no
- 24:37Speaker 1: to that. But even though I don't understand. Thus is
- 24:40Speaker 1: the why forgiveness and mercy had to come about it,
- 24:46Speaker 1: for he knew that we was not going to be
- 24:50Speaker 1: able to do all team of the commandment that has ordered. Dude,
- 24:57Speaker 1: are you willing to cut it down to eight? Is that?
- 25:00Speaker 1: What you which? Which two do? They? Black ass won't
- 25:04Speaker 1: took out? They would cut down thou should not. She's
- 25:07Speaker 1: a lot of thou should nots in there. Thou should
- 25:10Speaker 1: nuts Thou should not lie her line is lin line
- 25:15Speaker 1: is should not lie there. Well, I'm not gonna take
- 25:19Speaker 1: line out because that's gonna stop the admissions of field.
- 25:26Speaker 1: Now the big one hell is thou should not covered
- 25:31Speaker 1: thou neighbor's white hearing. The trip tam with that one too.
- 25:35Speaker 1: They but brother Spencer told me in counseling he coverted
- 25:42Speaker 1: up his brother's wife because she was cold, struggling with
- 25:50Speaker 1: the Yeah, they are taking every possible loophole and diving
- 25:56Speaker 1: through it. Right here we go another church complaint. This
- 26:02Speaker 1: is a complaint the humpback. Members of the church are
- 26:05Speaker 1: complaining that they would like to have queues that don't
- 26:08Speaker 1: have backs because the wooden cues that have backs are
- 26:12Speaker 1: hurting their backs. It is anyway we can get some
- 26:15Speaker 1: queues that don't have backs. The hump back. We got
- 26:20Speaker 1: four or five of them in there, and we won't
- 26:23Speaker 1: know what it could be willing. No, what I've done
- 26:29Speaker 1: is I've all sectioned off the tire front row of
- 26:33Speaker 1: the ballot, so they need lean forward, okay, and that
- 26:40Speaker 1: would hump won't put them all over the front row
- 26:44Speaker 1: because the fount they watched the service leaning forward. What
- 26:48Speaker 1: I'm not gonna do is tell have no puty and
- 26:51Speaker 1: on the event that they don't come back something because
- 26:55Speaker 1: humpbacked people get sick a lot, because there's a lot
- 26:58Speaker 1: of toxins in the hump, in the hoop up in
- 27:01Speaker 1: the hook. They can just lean over the back, just
- 27:07Speaker 1: lean over and look under the real and also tell
- 27:14Speaker 1: them deacon that no, we will not be playing gap
- 27:18Speaker 1: band every Sunday that you got the hun baby. Okay,
- 27:38Speaker 1: this is the last complaint, Thank you Lord. Someone niched
- 27:47Speaker 1: up the paper section in the men's and latest restroom
- 27:51Speaker 1: of the church, and all they have is the rough
- 27:54Speaker 1: hand towels in the bathroom stalls. They don't have the
- 27:58Speaker 1: soft toilet dihit. They got the rough Can we please
- 28:02Speaker 1: six to in spring for some soft paper in the
- 28:07Speaker 1: restroom because it's very rough. Rob Oh, we're going to
- 28:12Speaker 1: have to admit I art those rough paper tis? Did
- 28:17Speaker 1: you now all right? Well? That that doesn't for church
- 28:23Speaker 1: complaints this week? Thank you. Revermotown decaver ad noight coming
- 28:28Speaker 1: up at the top of the hour, we have some
- 28:30Speaker 1: entertainment and some national news right after this. You're listening
- 28:34Speaker 1: to Steve Morning show. Well in today's trending entertainment news. Guys,
- 28:41Speaker 1: it hasn't been even a week since Donald Trump was
- 28:43Speaker 1: booed at Game five of the World Series, but everywhere. Yeah,
- 28:50Speaker 1: he decided to show his face again in public. This
- 28:53Speaker 1: time it was on Saturday night at a UFC match
- 28:56Speaker 1: in Madison Square Gardens. When the President and his sons,
- 29:01Speaker 1: Donald Junior and Eric entered the arena, he was met
- 29:04Speaker 1: with a mix of boo and some cheers too. Take
- 29:09Speaker 1: a listening, like booze, I haven't some booing before. This
- 29:45Speaker 1: is for people who've heard some booing. It's way louder
- 29:50Speaker 1: than clapping. Okay, this boo ain't louder than clapping. A
- 29:55Speaker 1: matter of fact, you didn't really hit too much cheering
- 29:57Speaker 1: in there. I hit on mm hmmm. Well, mister Trump,
- 30:02Speaker 1: you know, has had a long relationship with the UFC.
- 30:05Speaker 1: Back in two thousand and one, he provided the league
- 30:07Speaker 1: with a home at his Taj Mahal hotel in Atlantic City.
- 30:10Speaker 1: Eric Trump Junior disputed the report of booze and tweeted
- 30:14Speaker 1: when we walked into the arena, it was overwhelmingly positive response. No, what,
- 30:21Speaker 1: mister Trump, Yeah like delusion? Wow, did you say, Stevie,
- 30:38Speaker 1: just like daddy like you. And the thing about the
- 30:43Speaker 1: boo you you distinguished a boot quickly, you know, Jake,
- 30:49Speaker 1: Jake boo and grab your attention and needed yeah talk.
- 30:52Speaker 1: Let me tell you something. If you're in a comedy
- 30:55Speaker 1: club and it's three hundred and fifty people clapping, if
- 31:00Speaker 1: two people starting, they ruled your knight, I thought, let
- 31:10Speaker 1: me tell you the worst boot. The worst boot is
- 31:13Speaker 1: a boot in front row. Can't nobody see them but you,
- 31:17Speaker 1: and it's a silent food. They're just going boo you.
- 31:20Speaker 1: Nobody else can see them. You the only one to
- 31:24Speaker 1: see as they down that mouthing the boot. Yeah that's bad.
- 31:32Speaker 1: Oh yeah, man, And you hear those louder than the
- 31:37Speaker 1: yelling out. You don't even you don't even pay attention
- 31:39Speaker 1: to the people clap. That's a mind game right there. Yeah,
- 31:42Speaker 1: focus only on two people, but somebody in the audience
- 31:45Speaker 1: who was not smiling or having a good time, you
- 31:49Speaker 1: have intend to see To focus on that person, the
- 31:51Speaker 1: whole room could be holly laugh ye. But if you
- 31:54Speaker 1: see this one person that's expressionists and just not getting it,
- 31:57Speaker 1: you end up looking at the ass all night. It
- 31:59Speaker 1: takes shel while to ignore that person and do your show.
- 32:02Speaker 1: It really does as a new comic that Yeah, it's
- 32:06Speaker 1: like a silent heckler. Yeah yeah, Oh my god. So
- 32:09Speaker 1: he heard him booze. It sounded like he's at the apollo,
- 32:13Speaker 1: I said son. His son said it was nothing but
- 32:17Speaker 1: a positive response. Differ with all of you guys. Donald Trump,
- 32:22Speaker 1: who is a long wait a minute, wait a minute,
- 32:25Speaker 1: also to the president, retweeted what his son tweeted about,
- 32:30Speaker 1: disputing Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, that's what he said.
- 32:39Speaker 1: Yeah he was there. He wasn't there. You weren't there.
- 32:44Speaker 1: President Trump, a lifelong New Yorker, announced earlier this week
- 32:48Speaker 1: that he changed his primary residence to Mara Lago, Florida.
- 32:52Speaker 1: Mister Trump confirmed the decision and a tweet and took
- 32:54Speaker 1: a shot at officials in New York, writing, I've been
- 32:57Speaker 1: treated very badly by the political leaders of both the
- 33:00Speaker 1: city and state. Few have been treated worse. He added
- 33:03Speaker 1: that the decision was best for all concern Now I
- 33:06Speaker 1: love this. New York Governor Andrew Cuomo fired back, good riddance.
- 33:10Speaker 1: It's not like mister Trump pay taxes here anyway. He's
- 33:14Speaker 1: all yours Florida. Wow, that's why wouldn't. Yeah, yeah to us,
- 33:25Speaker 1: to us, I think it has something to do with
- 33:28Speaker 1: the indictments that's gonna be coming down. Yeah, for his
- 33:31Speaker 1: tax films and stuff like that. Yeah. Yeah, And he
- 33:35Speaker 1: needs to know there's more boo waiting on his ass.
- 33:38Speaker 1: Especially heard something last night. It is real like the
- 33:52Speaker 1: struggle all right. In other entertainment news, Solange Knowles isn't
- 33:57Speaker 1: a single lady just yet, but things are trending in
- 34:00Speaker 1: that direction. This is Beyonce's little sister, of course. She
- 34:03Speaker 1: issued a statement on Friday saying she separated and parted
- 34:06Speaker 1: ways from her husband, Alan Ferguson after five years of
- 34:09Speaker 1: marriage and eleven years together as a couple. On Solange's
- 34:13Speaker 1: Instagram announcement, um, she actually said a lot of nice
- 34:17Speaker 1: things about a phenomenal man who changed every existence of
- 34:20Speaker 1: my life. Solange and Ferguson have no children, although she
- 34:24Speaker 1: does have fifteen year old son from her previous marriage
- 34:26Speaker 1: to Donald Daniel Smith. We're always rooting for you, Solange,
- 34:30Speaker 1: and hope things work out for you. Yes, break up.
- 34:33Speaker 1: I've met him together, man, They were really really cool. Yeah, Solange,
- 34:41Speaker 1: coffee can she'd be a free woman. She's not quite
- 34:48Speaker 1: free yet, Junior, that's okay. I just said coffee. It's
- 34:51Speaker 1: nothing committed yea. Hey, did you somebody want to have
- 34:58Speaker 1: no uncommitted as coffee? Which it's like crazy in the
- 35:03Speaker 1: sky sing song? What do he used the thing? She said,
- 35:09Speaker 1: crazy in the sky? All right, listen, coming up in
- 35:13Speaker 1: twenty minutes after the hour, some famous last words. We'll
- 35:17Speaker 1: get into it right after this. You're listening, all right,
- 35:24Speaker 1: so Jay, yes, yes, yes? What is this famous last word?
- 35:27Speaker 1: She wrote? A famous last words has to do it.
- 35:31Speaker 1: A lot of people get hurt by stupidity, or sometimes
- 35:34Speaker 1: they don't make it because they say something or do
- 35:38Speaker 1: something stupid, and all we have is their last words.
- 35:41Speaker 1: For instance, last words like this, that gun ain't loaded.
- 35:45Speaker 1: Those with the last words, right, that's the last The
- 35:50Speaker 1: last words they said was that dog don't bite. That's
- 35:54Speaker 1: the last words they said. Famous last famous last word
- 36:00Speaker 1: he said before he left, I'm going this way. I'm
- 36:03Speaker 1: going this way because all the bells are hibernated at
- 36:06Speaker 1: this time. So that's the last thing we heard from him.
- 36:13Speaker 1: The last thing he said. He was in the living
- 36:15Speaker 1: room and he said to the little boy, punched me
- 36:18Speaker 1: in the stomach as hard as you can. I can
- 36:20Speaker 1: take it that. That was the last you got one.
- 36:29Speaker 1: Go ahead, last word. I bet you better get out
- 36:35Speaker 1: of my face. I bet you better get out my face.
- 36:44Speaker 1: Famous last words. Famous last word he said to the
- 36:47Speaker 1: group was these ain't poisoned mushrooms. I know poison mushrooms,
- 36:51Speaker 1: and I see poison mushrooms. Okay, that's yeah. I ain't
- 37:05Speaker 1: going nowhere. Famous word. You got what you got one, Steve,
- 37:15Speaker 1: you got another one? Good? Oh? Hell yeah. I can
- 37:19Speaker 1: jump over there right there, I jump over there. My
- 37:28Speaker 1: famous as words, he said when he went to bed.
- 37:31Speaker 1: I'll go to sleep and it'll be all going in
- 37:34Speaker 1: the morning. I'll feel much better. Word wow, no, no,
- 37:48Speaker 1: not this time. Your shocks on it like warm water. Wow. Okay,
- 37:58Speaker 1: famous lad word. Don't worry about it. Girl. My wife's leaps.
- 38:02Speaker 1: He can't hear. Damn thing. Take it up. Take it up. Yes,
- 38:18Speaker 1: somebody drops something in the water, and there's somebody's say
- 38:24Speaker 1: I get it. Thank you guys, Thank you guys for
- 38:34Speaker 1: playing his last words. Coming up at thirty four minutes
- 38:36Speaker 1: after the hour, Well, tomorrow's election day, and we're gonna
- 38:39Speaker 1: talk about the importance of local elections. Right after this
- 38:44Speaker 1: you're listening to. Tomorrow is election day. Go vote please,
- 38:51Speaker 1: and your local elections in your community. They are There
- 38:55Speaker 1: are goobernatorial races in Kentucky and Mississippi and in Louisiana. People. Yes.
- 39:01Speaker 1: In addition, there are more local elections all over the
- 39:04Speaker 1: country and voters will vote locally a numerous citizen initiatives,
- 39:08Speaker 1: mayoral races, ballot measures and referendums, plus state legislative elections
- 39:15Speaker 1: in Mississippi, Louisiana, and New Jersey. And there will be
- 39:19Speaker 1: a few special federal elections to replace members who have resigned.
- 39:23Speaker 1: So we have to just tell you, we have to
- 39:26Speaker 1: urge you get out and vote. These local elections are
- 39:30Speaker 1: so important, man, they said. And it sends a message
- 39:33Speaker 1: to the Republicans too, what we think. And let's get up,
- 39:36Speaker 1: let's get lease please. Yeah, they're hoping you don't vote,
- 39:40Speaker 1: and they hope you forget Well, here's here's the deal.
- 39:43Speaker 1: And I thought of this the other day. Every everybody's
- 39:47Speaker 1: up in arms about this impeachment inquiry and impeachment trial
- 39:52Speaker 1: and the possibility of impeachment. Do you know that we
- 39:56Speaker 1: do not have a single say so in that they
- 40:01Speaker 1: are going to be voted by the House and the Senate.
- 40:03Speaker 1: The Senate is public republic dominator. They're not going to
- 40:06Speaker 1: impeach him. Here's what can happen, though. You can vote
- 40:12Speaker 1: in all of the local elections. You can vote when
- 40:16Speaker 1: it's time to vote for Congress and Senate, and you
- 40:18Speaker 1: will determine who sits in the Senate and who sits
- 40:21Speaker 1: in the House. Who determines Now, listen, I don't really
- 40:27Speaker 1: think they're gonna impeach Donald Trump. I don't care one
- 40:30Speaker 1: way or another. But you can you can out. You
- 40:33Speaker 1: can vote him out of office come next November if
- 40:39Speaker 1: enough people show up to the polls who are upset
- 40:41Speaker 1: a way that country is being run, Upset about the
- 40:45Speaker 1: way our country looks, about the upset about the direction
- 40:49Speaker 1: that our country has taken. Upset about the example of
- 40:52Speaker 1: leadership that this president shows to our children, to our
- 40:58Speaker 1: young people. It is not the look. And so if
- 41:01Speaker 1: you whether they impeach him or not, you have a vote,
- 41:05Speaker 1: and your vote changes things, man, it really does. And
- 41:09Speaker 1: so the last time he lost a popular election by
- 41:12Speaker 1: three million votes, but because the electoral he got in
- 41:15Speaker 1: you get enough popular votes in the right states, he's
- 41:18Speaker 1: not getting in periods. And you know, you got to
- 41:25Speaker 1: think about local policies. When you're voting locally, it affects
- 41:29Speaker 1: everything from your income taxes, state taxes, to education, reproductive
- 41:37Speaker 1: ground law in Florida, get out of everywhere. Yeah, man,
- 41:42Speaker 1: So again, the governor's races in Kentucky, Mississippi, Louisiana, more
- 41:48Speaker 1: local elections all over the country. So you know you're
- 41:51Speaker 1: going to be voting on a lot of different things.
- 41:53Speaker 1: So just you know, educate yourselves and pay attention because
- 41:57Speaker 1: the people you vote for, you know, especially you know
- 42:00Speaker 1: when it comes to Congress and things like that, they
- 42:03Speaker 1: go to Washington and represent you. Yeah, they go to
- 42:06Speaker 1: Washington and represent you. So and these booths will let
- 42:11Speaker 1: you know the way this thing is going. Now, okay,
- 42:13Speaker 1: these these boons and telling you that it ain't going.
- 42:18Speaker 1: It's not going everywhere. Every time you attend a sporting event,
- 42:22Speaker 1: you need to stop going to sport. But that's not
- 42:27Speaker 1: what they heard though. Yeah, they heard only positive response. No,
- 42:31Speaker 1: it ain't too to determine that. We determine that. Yeah,
- 42:35Speaker 1: and you're vote, y'all, but go vote, please go vote, yeah,
- 42:38Speaker 1: please go vote. Also, um, here's an update on the
- 42:42Speaker 1: twenty twenty presidential campaign of Democratic candidate Beto O'Rourke. Well,
- 42:47Speaker 1: there is no longer a campaign for him. He's out.
- 42:50Speaker 1: He dropped out. Yeah, yeah, you did, you did. He
- 42:54Speaker 1: said his campaign was about honesty and acting decisively, and
- 42:58Speaker 1: he announced that his service to the country will not
- 43:00Speaker 1: be as a candidate or a nominee. So he's out.
- 43:05Speaker 1: So I'm sure you know as it gets closer to
- 43:07Speaker 1: the primaries early next year, Yeah, it's going to definite
- 43:10Speaker 1: movie because they're running out of money to get out.
- 43:13Speaker 1: A lot of them. Get out, anybody, both yelled out.
- 43:17Speaker 1: Say it like in a horror movie. Get it out. No,
- 43:22Speaker 1: I want him to get out. Just leave anybody for
- 43:27Speaker 1: the vote for you. Yet, there you go, Jack all right?
- 43:33Speaker 1: Coming up next, Junior in for the nephew with today's
- 43:37Speaker 1: prank phone call. Right after this, you're listening to show
- 43:43Speaker 1: all right, coming up at the top of the hour,
- 43:45Speaker 1: right about four minutes after, it's today's strawberry letter. Oh
- 43:49Speaker 1: I got something good for you today. The subject I'm
- 43:52Speaker 1: dating her brother in law. But right now Junior is
- 43:57Speaker 1: in for the nephew with today's prank phone call. What's
- 44:00Speaker 1: for its Junior nephew is not here, Frank Today. As
- 44:04Speaker 1: time went back, I was like, man Us, didn't you No?
- 44:18Speaker 1: Brady Day is my favorite shock, the same thing my
- 44:23Speaker 1: favorite shot. Right, I'm trying to reach the Charles. Yeah
- 44:29Speaker 1: this Charles? Okay? Are you do you live an apartment?
- 44:32Speaker 1: Who is it? My name Benny Man, I live in.
- 44:35Speaker 1: Let me say this to you. Man, This like the
- 44:37Speaker 1: third time this that happened, you know, and I ain't
- 44:39Speaker 1: got fed up with it? So I'm fenn the city.
- 44:41Speaker 1: We've been again up? Man? Wait? Wait, wait? Who who
- 44:44Speaker 1: are you again? My name Benny Man, I live in.
- 44:47Speaker 1: Let's listen. Do you use the washroom on the property? Yeah? Man,
- 44:51Speaker 1: I used washroom? What's up? Okay? This is the third
- 44:54Speaker 1: time this happened. Last night was the third time right now.
- 44:57Speaker 1: The first time I happened to be in the washroom
- 45:00Speaker 1: with you and I come up with a shirt missing nah.
- 45:04Speaker 1: The second time was was was my T shirt? My
- 45:08Speaker 1: Chicago Bulls Championship T shirt? I saw your girl with
- 45:11Speaker 1: it on now? Last night last night was one that
- 45:14Speaker 1: drew the line. My favorite socks was missing out the
- 45:17Speaker 1: drying or come back to getting my old up. I
- 45:19Speaker 1: don't know what you're doing, man, When you're in this washroom.
- 45:22Speaker 1: If you decide you're just gonna go shopping in the
- 45:24Speaker 1: dry and get what you want out of it from
- 45:26Speaker 1: other people's stuff. Man, but this ain't hold on. Hold up,
- 45:29Speaker 1: I'm a grown man. What are you talking about shopping
- 45:32Speaker 1: for every day? I buy my own. Listen, you called

- 45:38Speaker 1: by some damn socks. You damn right, they're my favorite socks.
- 45:41Speaker 1: So what I got a problem is what what makes
- 45:43Speaker 1: you think you can start opening up dryers getting people
- 45:46Speaker 1: stop out? Man? Hold on? What makes you think I'm
- 45:48Speaker 1: opening up? Hold up? You got the wrong one? Why

- 45:56Speaker 1: so what they lost mind giving you my number? Calling
- 45:59Speaker 1: me some to buy some socks? Hey, man, day my
- 46:02Speaker 1: favorite sock and look at it. I want my socks

- 52:43Speaker 1: click submit Strawberry Letter. We could be reading your letter
- 52:46Speaker 1: live on the air, just like we're going to read
- 52:48Speaker 1: this one right here right now. Okay, all right, ladies
- 52:52Speaker 1: and gentlemen, it is that time. It is time for
- 52:54Speaker 1: the Strawberry Letter with my good friend Shirley straw Thank you, Junior.
- 52:58Speaker 1: Subject I'm dating her brother in law, Dear Stephen, Shirley,
- 53:03Speaker 1: I recently met a wonderful man, and we instantly had
- 53:06Speaker 1: a connection. I am a widow and his wife died
- 53:09Speaker 1: earlier this year. When we met, he looked familiar to me,
- 53:13Speaker 1: but I thought that it was just a coincidence. After
- 53:16Speaker 1: a few dates, we talked more about his wife that
- 53:19Speaker 1: had died and he told me her name. I knew
- 53:23Speaker 1: his wife, and when I put two and two together,
- 53:27Speaker 1: I realized why he was so familiar to me. His
- 53:30Speaker 1: deceased wife was the sister of one of my good friends.
- 53:34Speaker 1: I knew all about him and their family, but I
- 53:36Speaker 1: hadn't met him before. I told him about the connection
- 53:40Speaker 1: I had with that family, and he said that it
- 53:42Speaker 1: was totally fine and normal for him to move on,
- 53:44Speaker 1: and he can't help help it if he's attracted to me.
- 53:48Speaker 1: So we've been dating for a little over a month
- 53:50Speaker 1: and my friend is asking about the great guy I
- 53:52Speaker 1: met and wants all of the details. I just told
- 53:57Speaker 1: her that the guy is great, has an home, cooks
- 54:00Speaker 1: and cleans, and the sex is phenomenal. But that was
- 54:04Speaker 1: all before I knew it was her brother in law.
- 54:06Speaker 1: Now it will be really awkward to tell her who
- 54:09Speaker 1: the man is. He and I have discussed how we
- 54:11Speaker 1: should let my friend know, but there is never a
- 54:14Speaker 1: good time to bring it up to her. This should
- 54:16Speaker 1: not be a big problem, but I feel like it
- 54:18Speaker 1: will be again. It's the best sex I've sex ever,
- 54:22Speaker 1: and we have been all over his house, her sister's house.
- 54:27Speaker 1: I feel kind of bad, but I'm truly falling for
- 54:30Speaker 1: this man. I don't want to lose her friendship. But
- 54:32Speaker 1: this man says he could see us being together forever.
- 54:36Speaker 1: He says he's crazy about me too. What should we do?
- 54:40Speaker 1: While I mean, you've been together a month, stay together,
- 54:43Speaker 1: see how it goes. I mean, I think that's what
- 54:46Speaker 1: you guys should do. You're two grown people. You were
- 54:48Speaker 1: two innocent people who, just like in the movies, you
- 54:52Speaker 1: met and fell in love or you're starting to fall
- 54:55Speaker 1: for each other. You know, that's pretty much it. It
- 54:58Speaker 1: was nothing sneaky or deviious or premeditated about it. You
- 55:02Speaker 1: guys weren't cheating, you know, before your spouse has died
- 55:05Speaker 1: or anything like that. So I just say, you don't
- 55:09Speaker 1: owe anyone anything any explanations. Necessarily, when you get around
- 55:13Speaker 1: to it, you can tell your friend. I would suggest
- 55:16Speaker 1: you guys tell them, tell them together. But in the meantime,
- 55:20Speaker 1: if I were you, I would stop talking to your
- 55:23Speaker 1: friend about your new man because it will only make
- 55:26Speaker 1: her want to know more and more about him. And
- 55:29Speaker 1: is it awkward. Yes, I agree it's a bit awkward,
- 55:32Speaker 1: but again, it was innocent the way you guys met. So,
- 55:35Speaker 1: I mean, we're all grown here. Things happen, life goes on,
- 55:39Speaker 1: and you know you weren't friends with his wife. You
- 55:42Speaker 1: were friends with his wife's sister, and this thing just happened.
- 55:46Speaker 1: It's nobody's fault, so you know. I mean, I just say,
- 55:51Speaker 1: be adults here. You know they'll find out sooner or later.
- 55:56Speaker 1: But I don't think there's any time frame or time
- 55:58Speaker 1: limit on when you have to tell a person or anything.
- 56:01Speaker 1: You guys decided your life and you have to deal
- 56:04Speaker 1: with it how you want to deal with it. Steve. Oh, sorry, Shirley, Sorry,
- 56:11Speaker 1: I read a different letter. I'm confused. I'm confused. Subject
- 56:19Speaker 1: is I'm dating her brother in law. The letter starts
- 56:23Speaker 1: with this woman obviously has met this really wonderful man
- 56:28Speaker 1: and they instantly had a connection. The letter that writes
- 56:32Speaker 1: the letter is a widow and the man she met
- 56:36Speaker 1: that had this wonderful connection his wife died earlier this year. Now,
- 56:43Speaker 1: just listening to that opening line, I recently met a
- 56:46Speaker 1: wonderful man and we instantly had a connection. I'm a
- 56:50Speaker 1: widow and his wife died earlier this year. This letter
- 56:53Speaker 1: is about a lot of old people. That's what this is.
- 56:58Speaker 1: What just wants you to put age on. This is
- 57:01Speaker 1: a right here. It's just too many people died. And
- 57:06Speaker 1: in the first sentence, you're on a dating This damn
- 57:11Speaker 1: near a dating site for people who look life feeling empty.
- 57:18Speaker 1: Ain't got nobody loved one going away? Come to the
- 57:23Speaker 1: here after Dayton site because that's what tender for old people. Yeah,
- 57:29Speaker 1: this this is the old people. This is this ain't
- 57:33Speaker 1: swipe right, swipe left, This is hair upon swipe right.
- 57:40Speaker 1: When we met, he looked familiar to me, but I
- 57:42Speaker 1: thought it was just a coincidence. A few dates we
- 57:45Speaker 1: talked more about his wife that had died, and he
- 57:49Speaker 1: told me her name. I knew his wife, and when
- 57:55Speaker 1: I put you in two together, wait a minute, hold,
- 57:58Speaker 1: see that's some line that through me. After he told
- 58:01Speaker 1: her nature, this woman said, I knew his wife, and
- 58:05Speaker 1: then I put two and two together. I realized why
- 58:07Speaker 1: he was so familiar to me, excuse me. His deceased
- 58:12Speaker 1: wife was the sister or one of my good friends.
- 58:17Speaker 1: I knew all about him and their family, but I
- 58:20Speaker 1: hadn't met him before. Wait a minute, lady, you're confusing me.
- 58:24Speaker 1: You just said you realized why he was so familiar
- 58:28Speaker 1: to you, and then you said I knew all about
- 58:31Speaker 1: him and his family, but I hadn't met him before.
- 58:34Speaker 1: Why was he so familiar to you if you ain't
- 58:38Speaker 1: met him before, see Sharley, that's why I said. I
- 58:41Speaker 1: think she leaving something out. Yeah, yeah, but she knew him.
- 58:49Speaker 1: That's why he sounded. So that's why he was so familiar.
- 58:53Speaker 1: I don't think sounded. I think he recognizing him because
- 58:56Speaker 1: he kept looking at him. I I told him about
- 58:59Speaker 1: the connection I had with that family. He says, totally
- 59:01Speaker 1: fine and normal for him to move on here here
- 59:04Speaker 1: she did. I finished up when he come back, Dave,
- 59:12Speaker 1: he did not say that. All right? Listen coming up
- 59:16Speaker 1: Part two and Steve's responds to today's Strawberry letter. I'm
- 59:19Speaker 1: dating her brother in law. That's coming up at twenty
- 59:21Speaker 1: three after the hour right after this. You're listening Morning show.
- 59:28Speaker 1: All right, Steve, come on, let's recap Today's Strawberry Letters
- 59:30Speaker 1: subject I'm dating her brother in law. Well, at least
- 59:34Speaker 1: two old people that rode in on this one old
- 59:37Speaker 1: man she'd been rode in and she's a widow, and
- 59:42Speaker 1: she met a man whose wife died earlier. Then she's
- 59:44Speaker 1: a lot of death in his first sentence, and then
- 59:46Speaker 1: he and then when we met, he looked familiar to me,
- 59:50Speaker 1: See Shelley. He looked familiar to me, but I thought
- 59:53Speaker 1: it was just coincid. After a few dates, we talked
- 59:55Speaker 1: more about his wife that had died. He told me
- 59:58Speaker 1: her name. I knew his wife, and then I put
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: two and two together. I realized why he was so
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: familiar to me. His deceased wife was the sister of
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: my good one of my good friends. I knew all
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: about him and their family, but I hadn't met him before,
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: meaning Shirley. She had not been formally introduced, but she'd
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: been in the same room, Vicinity party, barbeq something. I
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: knew all about him and their family, but I hadn't
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: met him before. I told him about the connection I
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: had with that family. He said, it's fine, normal for
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: him to move on here. She did and he can't
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: help it. He didn't say that in his head. No,
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: he said, I'm totally fine. It's normal for him to
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: move on. Hell, she dead and he can't helping if
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: he's attracting me, and you fine. You find that she
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: did what you want me to do, nothing wrong. We've
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: been dating for a little over a month and my
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: friend is asking about this great guy man and wont
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: all the details. Now this just a month now. I
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: keep telling y'a about the ninety day move, but it
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: don't apply to them because they over. Okay, I met
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: and wont all the details. I just told her that
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: the guy is great, he got nice home, cooking clean,
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: and the sex is phenomenal. That's the line in the
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: letter that's gonna get you jumped on. When you tell
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: your friend you dating her dad sisters ex husband that
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: you saw after BARBIEQ you've been around us, she gonna
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: square them down. You was looking at his ass there,
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: I promise you shit, because it's her sister and you
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: her friend. Women ain't that open mind that y'all stop
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: spreading that line that you are cause you're not. Surely
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: yes we are. No, you're not. The guy's great, nice home,
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: could clean, and the sexiest phenomenal. But that was all
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: before I knew it was her brother in law. Where
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: all less her brother in law and y'all being everywhere,
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: and to hit her crazy part nis really awkward to
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: tell her who the man is? You damn right, because
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: it's her dad sister's husband here. And I've discuss how
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: we should let my friend know, but there's never a
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: good time to bring it up to her. Hell no,
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: ain't no good time. This should not be a big problem,
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: but I feel like it will be. You don't feel
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: like it will be. You know it's gonna be because
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: you know your girlfrid crazy and you gonna tell her
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: that this phenomenal sex you didn't have was with her
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: dead sister's man that you are familiar with. You just
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: couldn't place it. And again, it's the best sex ever.
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: And we've been all over his house, all on her
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: sister's walls, sister step you on her sister kitchen table.
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: You ain't that her sister? Roboh yours her sister? Bad?
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: You funky hel for you? Oh no, you ain't gonna
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: disgrace my sister. Memory You was after Barbie Q looking
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: at him that whole time I knew the way you're
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: looking at her. I'm truly falling for this man. I
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: don't want to lose her friendship. But this man says
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: he could see us being together forever. He says he's
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: crazy about me too. What should we do? Well, Shirley
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: got one thing right, y'all. She would tell her together. Now.
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: The reason I'm suggesting that you tell her together is
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: so that when she opened fire. When she opened fire,
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: there will be some options. Because if you over there
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: by herself, then you gonna get shot. At least she
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: could decide if she gonna shoot it her or him.
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: But don't you go into this thing naively. Now you
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: all gonna have to tell her because if she find out,
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: oh my god, then you're worse. Sneaking round and you
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: knew where he knew and she knew, and y'all men
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: at the party, Oh, it's gonna be It's gonna be
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: horrible if she finds out and you all don't tell her.
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: I think your friendship with this woman is over, and
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: I think this life to duce new Man has begun.
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: But oftentimes you can't get to the next level without
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: sheding some weight. Y'all about to find out a lot
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: about y'all's friendship. Will they'll be turned when you world? No,
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: there's gonna be some dog days for that, right there,
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: Good luck lady. Hey, all right, listen to film it
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: and send it to his post your comments on Today's

- 1:05:47Speaker 1: this past Saturday Sunday morning, we set our clocks back

- 1:05:58Speaker 1: prefer fallback or day like savings time? And why? Okay, So,
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: which one was the one we just had? Fall back?
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: Fall back? Okay? Obviously that's the one Timmy don't like.
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: So so we have Tommy's answer. So is he's still
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: sleeping now? Really? Tommy's not here because the time went
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: back two days ago. Yeah, and Sam Tommy team dinamand
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: all the way, I don't I didn't lave it answer
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: for your boy answer for I like. I like the
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: one we the one we're in now because I love
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: to go to church and one older people show up
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: two damn early. It's just those day ass off. That
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: is the funniest thing you've ever seen in your life.
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: Ain't nobody? Ain't nobody here? Everybody? That's not funny? Jake
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: to him and ask me what I like? And I
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: gave it. Now you judging? When judging, Jake, if there
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: ain't nobody here, it right? Can the USS ain't here nobody?
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: If they moved a chap. I'm at the rate change.
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: Ain't Baptist change? That's the change. I ten every Sunday,
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: the ninth Baptist. J wrong, You're wrong. You know. That's
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: the thing. When I when I was living in Chicago
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: was horrible for me. I went to work, it was dark,
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: right when I got awful work, it was dark. It
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: was I couldn't go outside ever because it was freezing. Yeah,
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: so I just my whole world was in darkness, in
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: fliscing life. Well, imagine being a kid. Imagine being a
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: kid and growing up in that year after year being
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: a kid in Chicago. That was my whole childhood. Yeah,
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: I love a lot of people feel that way about
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: yea fall back. You go to work when it's dark,
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: Steve in school and you come home it's dark. Yeah,
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: but it's dark out. I prefer daylight savings times too
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: longer daylight. But people, some people, though Carla, love that
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: extra hour. They love that extra hour that were it
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: only work if you sleep. I know. Well, all right,
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: listen poster comments in Steve Harvey FM on the Gramm
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: or Facebook. Now coming up at the top of the hour,
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: Steve is gonna tell us about his global branding trip
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: right after this you're listening to all right, So Steve,
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: your globe traveling, globe trotting all over the world. So
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: tell us about your big global branding trip that you're
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: you're on right now. You were in uh you were
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: in Dubai and the elections were last week in Boutswana
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: and uh uh President McKenzie who Marge and I became
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: friends with him and his wife the general election for
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: hell and he won, and so we're over here to
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: celebrate it. Just so happens is the week of the
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: Diamond Council, and so we're here for that, the Diamond Conference,
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: and so we'll be doing that all day, all evening,
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: the delegates, banquets, UH events, the Diamond Conference itself, consumer
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: Insight UH. We're involved with a couple of programs to
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: get young people into uh uh learning how to design jewelry.
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: It's a big push over here now because we ship
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: so many diamonds off the continent, but I think that
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: they've discovered it would be so valuable to young people,
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: and the beers is a big part of this to
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: teach them how to cut and design it and be
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: on all levels of the economy. Yeah, all levels of
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: the economy for the diamond industry, which is huge over here.
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: We're doing some informal dinners and everything. Then I'll be
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: speaking Marjorie and I at the women's summit here. We're
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: doing a couple's summit, and then there's a diamond show
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: that's fashion shows, cocktails, and then I think Marjorie is
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: gonna go to another Safari of more upscaled than the
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: one we even went to discover what it's like, because
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: we're looking at doing some things with tourism board here.
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: And I'll stay here and speak with the President on
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: Friday night as a keynote address for the Economic Forum
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: and Investors Council here in bout Swanna. So that's what
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: I'm doing. Now do you prepare for your keynote or
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: do you just um speaking? Well, I never, I don't
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: wing it. I have a they have a certain theme
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: that they may be operating on. But I'm talking to
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: adults and this thing right here. The last time I
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: was here, I spoke at about Swanna University and it
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: was mostly young people and it was inspirational. This would
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: be more adults. I'm you know, really really and well
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: to do people. And so why you know, why are
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: you at the diamond thing? Come on doing the diamond thing.
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: The diamond speak for all of us. Yeah, it's impossible.
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: Rab maybe two or three? Yes, wait one more time,
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: one more I like that at the baby rab two
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: or three putting me in your clouding head on that
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: absolutely as possible. And there is no faster way to
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: go to prison over you you you you get the
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: skip go You hain't got the roll of dice. That's
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: a serious crime because listen to me. In Botswana, the
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: diamonds belong to the country. Like if you're walking and
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: you find a diamond, you have to turn it in, Okay,
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: turn it in because, yeah, you have to turn it
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: in because it's property of the country. Diamonds are so
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: specific to a region. Even if you took that diamond
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: somewhere else, they know the region that it comes from.
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: Answering when they reported what you're gonna do? I mean,
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: it's it's really pretty Answering me, Is you had that thought?
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: Frost your man? That's yes, yes, yes, I've seen hey man.
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: When I was here yesterday for the diamond conference, I
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: saw more diamonds in one room that I'd ever seen
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: collectively total in my time at any jewelry story. And
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: it was a twenty three year old black woman in
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: charge of every last one of those stories. Lord Jesus,
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: all right, uh, coming up more of today's trending stories
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: at the Steve Harvey Morning Show. We'll be back at
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: twenty minutes after the hour right after this. Flow your
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: lips again, Jack, you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: The Chicago teachers eleven days strike ended on last Thursday,
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: and the teachers want a contract that includes one of
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: their foremost demands sixteen percent pay raises for the next
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: five years. Good. Yes, we love our teachers. Yes we
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: do and increases to support staff and a social worker
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: and a nurse in every school. Students in Chicago's toughest
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: neighborhoods deal with trauma that includes gun and gang violence
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: and even homelessness, and yet they have less access to
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: health and mental wellness services than many of their peers
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: in wealthier neighborhoods. This is an historic win for the
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: Chicago teachers staff and the students. We say congratulations. Can't
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: tell you something too, Yes. The thing that I really
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: love and respect about these teachers is the majority of
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: their fight is for the children. Yeah. Yeah. The majority
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: of things that nurse, extra staffing, you know, things like that,
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: that's for the children to get them help. They were
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: on the front lines of a very, very tough epidemic
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: in this country. The lack of education and the money
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: we put towards education in this country dwarfs and comparative
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: when I traveled around the world, it's like we take
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: education as nothing. Everybody else makes it a premium. So
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: congratulation to the Chicago teachers were standing up. Yeah, yes,
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: and all other teacher boards deserved the same thing. Yes,
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: they all right, Thank you. Steve Moore of the Steve
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show and Trending News coming up at thirty
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: three after the hour. Right after this, you're listening to
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Well in today's trending entertainment news. Guys,
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: that hasn't been even a week since Donald Trump was
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: boot at Game five of the World Series, but everywhere. Yeah,
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: he decided to show his face again in public. This
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: time it was on Saturday night at a UFC match
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: in Madison Square Gardens. When the President and his sons,
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: Donald Junior and Eric entered the arena, he was met
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: with a mix of boots and some cheers too. Take
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: a listen like booze. If this is for people who've
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: heard some booing, it's way louder than clapping. It is okay,
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: this boo louder. Matter of fact, you didn't really hit
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: too much cheer I hit on m m M. Well,
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: mister Trump, you know, has had a long relationship with
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: the UFC. Back in two thousand and one, he provided
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: the league with a home at his Taj Mahal hotel
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: in Atlantic City. Eric Trump Junior disputed the report of
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: booze and tweeted, when we walked into the arena, it
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: was overwhelmingly positive response. No what again, mister trouble. Yeah,
- 1:17:11Speaker 1: like you, delusion cree like you. And the thing about
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: a boot, you you distinguished a boot quickly, you know, Jake,
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: Jake boo and grab your attention and meet it. Dog.
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: Let me tell you something. If you're in a comedy
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: club and it's three hundred and fifty people, Clapp, if
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: two people start board, I thought it. Let me tell
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: you the worst boot. The worst boot is the boot.
- 1:17:54Speaker 1: It's front row. Can't nobody see him but you, and
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: it's a silent food just going you. Nobody else can
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: see you. You only want Yeah, that's happened to bad
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: Oh yeah, and you hear those louder than the yelling
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: at you don't even you don't even pay attention to people, Clapp.
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: That's a mind game right there. Yeah, coming up our
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: last break of the day and some clothing break up
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: the day. I love the town crier, don't you the
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: show crier? And some closing inspirational remarks from the one
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: and only Steve Harvey all the way from Botswana. Right
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: after this, you're listening to the Steven Show all right
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: here we are. It was a good day, a good Monday. Hunyah, good,
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: start of the work were time? We were on time? Good,
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: not like all of us weren't on time. Yeah, well no,
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: it was a strange person you speak of, uncle Steve. Well,
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: this person that we haven't spoken to all days. Anybody,
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: anybody you ain't heard his voice? Well, are you gonna
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: call him? You need to call him tonight, Steve. And
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: I'm not calling nobody. Ain't got no time for this
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: right here. I'm well on the other side of the world.
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: I ain't got no time to write with this foolish
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: but he made need to hear from you, ain't He
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: don't need no no What he needed to do is
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: be at work even if though hour was off. Why
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: didn't you come here with the hour off story? So
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: how your one hour turn into your whole damn day?
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: I got closer remarks, I ain't got no time for him,
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: right hey. You know in my travels I get an opportunity. Man.
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: God has really blessed me to meet so many incredible
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: people from around the world, from all different cultures, all
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: different walks of life. I truly, truly can say I
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: had never seen this for myself. I had no idea.
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: God Who's gonna do this for me. I had no idea,
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: And I want to say something everybody out there, because
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: just like I didn't see this coming, you don't see
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: your life coming either. You know, we just don't have
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: the ability to see into the future. We have the
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: ability to think into the future, but we don't have
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: the ability to see into the future. We have the
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: ability to make plans for the future, but we can't
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: see the future. We can hope for the future, we
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: can plan for the future, we can have dreams and
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: visions for the future, but we can't see it. But
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: God made us as the one creature who can make
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: decisions based on his hopes, dreams and visions for his future.
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: And in that I want to talk to you about
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: when you are faced with the moments in your life
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: where it seems like it's not going according to plan,
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: or it's not going the way you want to, or
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: it's not happening fast enough, Well, let me share something
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: with you. As long as you can remain faithful, as
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: long as you can hang on to the hope that
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: it'll be all right, as long as you can muster up,
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: like old people used to say, the faith of a
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: mustandcy if you could just hang on to that right
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: there when it don't go as planned, when it don't
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: go the way you want it to you and it
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: don't happen as fast as you like for it to happen.
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: If you can muster up that, that keeps you in
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: position for it to happen. Folks, you just gotta stay positioned.
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: You can't get out of position. If you're the shortstop
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: in a baseball game and somebody hits the ball, and
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: a lot of balls go to the shortstop. The shortstop
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: is a busy guy. He's involved him and that first
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: baseman that catching that picture is involved on just about
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: every play. That catching that picture got the ball in
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: his hand. Every time that catcher gonna see it coming
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: towards him. It may never get to him, but it's
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: coming towards most hits. Most hits end up over there
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: that shortstop. That shortstop plays between second base and third base.
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: That's his position. Now. If he go over there and
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: put himself between first and second base and that hot
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: shot come up the hole in the middle of that
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: third base line right between second and he out of position.
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: He can't make the play. If you play god on
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: the basketball team and the other point guard is coming
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: up the floor and you're down there on the baseline,
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: and that's your man, and y'all playing man on man.
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: You are now out of position if you're the running back,
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: and when you break the huddle, you run out there
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: with the ride receiver. But it's time for the running
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: play and they snap it in the quarterback turn and
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: you ain't that it's because you're out of position. What
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: happens to a lot of us in life is we
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: take ourselves out of position to receive the blessing. You
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: get ourselves out of position to to receive what's next.
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: Because even though it's not happening as you plan, even
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: though things are happening that you don't want to happen,
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: and even though it's not happening with the speed and
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: expectations that you had in mind, does not mean it's
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: not going to happen. But if you get out of position,
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: if you move yourself out of fate, if you give up,
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: if you lose hope, you are now taking yourself out
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: of position. I'm asking you to just stay in position,
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: keep hope alive, stay there. In your dog moments when
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: it looked like it ain't gonna happen. Just must up
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: the faith of a must deceed to say, man, that
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: I'm just waiting on you God. I'm staying prayerful, I'm
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: staying in faith. I'm hanging on. I ain't got much
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: left in me, but I'm hanging on. I know, I
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: know you're coming. I'm gonna just stay right here. You
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: are now in position, and all you got to do
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: is be in position. You don't know how God gonna
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: move in your life. You don't know how he gonna
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: bring it about. You don't know what He got for you.
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: But if you ain't in position, you can't know. You
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: can't go over there and sit on the bitch and
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: be in the game. You can't go and power and
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: just go and give up and expect something to happen
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: for you. You got to stay in position. Man, I'm
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: so grateful that he shared that. He shows me things
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: that I can share with people. To keep you in position.
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: Don't give up, don't quit, don't lose hope, hang on,
- 1:25:25Speaker 1: hang stay there, stay in faith, Stay in the belief
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: that God is coming. Stay in the belief that He
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: didn't bring you this far to leave you. Stay in position.
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: Those are my closing remarks. Y'all have a great weekend.
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: I'm in Botswana. Rest of the week, I'm gonna be
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: telling you what it's about. Bye bye. For all Steve
