Chief Deputy Arrested for DWI | Beaumont News
Chief Deputy Constable Jimmy Arnold Croley Jr., 53, was arrested Friday morning for DWI after his truck crashed into a ditch in Beaumont. A state trooper found him impaired—smelling of alcohol, slurring, and with bloodshot eyes. He claimed another car hit him and admitted to drinking with his ex-wife earlier that night. He initially refused a breath or blood test, leading to a court-ordered blood draw at the hospital, which confirmed intoxication.
