- 2:18Speaker 1: sometimes and acknowledge it. All the small things that happened
- 2:22Speaker 1: to you, that they're just direct favor and blessings from God,
- 2:27Speaker 1: all of them, all of them, all of them. Man.
- 2:30Speaker 1: So don't take it for granted. Don't take for granted
- 2:32Speaker 1: that you woke up this morning. Please don't take that
- 2:37Speaker 1: for granted. That's a great You know what that says
- 2:41Speaker 1: to me when he wakes me up in the morning.
- 2:44Speaker 1: When he wakes me up in the morning, it says
- 2:46Speaker 1: to me, Steve Harvey, and you can take this yourself.
- 2:50Speaker 1: It says to me that God ain't through with me yet,
- 2:54Speaker 1: that God still has a plan for me, that God
- 2:58Speaker 1: still has a mission and for me, and that God
- 3:02Speaker 1: still has blessings for me. So I wake up every
- 3:06Speaker 1: day and I try to realize I don't always do
- 3:09Speaker 1: with y'all. You know. Sometimes I wake up on the
- 3:12Speaker 1: we're in the wrong side of the bed, like you
- 3:14Speaker 1: get off to a little rough stop. But I catch
- 3:15Speaker 1: myself always somewhere and I go, wait a minute, man,
- 3:19Speaker 1: hold on, you trip it? What you got your mouth
- 3:23Speaker 1: stick out about? What did you forget the blessing that
- 3:27Speaker 1: it is to wake up? Steve? For real? Man? So
- 3:29Speaker 1: you're gonna get up in and you're gonna and you're
- 3:32Speaker 1: gonna claim yourself not to be a morning person. Man,
- 3:36Speaker 1: You know what I mean? People out here say that
- 3:37Speaker 1: I'm not a morning person. Why would you lay claim
- 3:40Speaker 1: to that? How would you make that part of your makeup?
- 3:43Speaker 1: I'm just not a morning person. When if things go right,
- 3:51Speaker 1: this is something you're gonna do every day the rest
- 3:54Speaker 1: of your life. Wake up, so you're gonna wake up
- 3:58Speaker 1: every day like that, And then you need certain things
- 4:01Speaker 1: to happen in a row in order for you to
- 4:03Speaker 1: get your motor started or if or on, order for
- 4:06Speaker 1: your day to get off the right way. If you
- 4:08Speaker 1: don't hear some bad news, that blow it. If you
- 4:10Speaker 1: get up to go to work, that blow it. If
- 4:13Speaker 1: you hear the alarm clock, the sign of your alarm clock,
- 4:15Speaker 1: make me sick. Change it, Get another alarm clock, Do something, dude,
- 4:19Speaker 1: whatever you gotta do to start jump starting your day
- 4:22Speaker 1: so it doesn't start off where you gotta acknowledge your
- 4:25Speaker 1: fact or leading creage to the fact that, Hey, I
- 4:27Speaker 1: don't like mornings, man, I love mornings. Wake me up
- 4:30Speaker 1: in the morning. Thank you, man, Thank you for waking
- 4:33Speaker 1: me up in the morning. Thank you for giving me
- 4:35Speaker 1: a chance another. Thank you for not being through with
- 4:38Speaker 1: me yet. Man, Thank you for just getting me up
- 4:41Speaker 1: so I could just go do it again. So you know,
- 4:44Speaker 1: I just I just wanted to share that piece with
- 4:47Speaker 1: you today, but also I wanted to talk to you
- 4:51Speaker 1: about the process, the process of becoming successful at whatever
- 4:58Speaker 1: it is you want to become to successful at. Once again,
- 5:01Speaker 1: when I'm talking about success. I'm not talking about money.
- 5:07Speaker 1: I'm talking about whatever you want to be successful at. Now,
- 5:10Speaker 1: if that's a financial thing, you're shooting for a financial goal,
- 5:14Speaker 1: ain't nothing wrong with that. Cool. This is for you.
- 5:17Speaker 1: If you're trying to become a success at school. This
- 5:20Speaker 1: is for you. If you're trying to become a success
- 5:22Speaker 1: down at your job, in your career choice, cool, If
- 5:26Speaker 1: you're trying to be successful in a relationship. Cool. This
- 5:29Speaker 1: is for everybody that's trying to be successful on whatever level.
- 5:33Speaker 1: Here it is. You must understand the process. This is
- 5:44Speaker 1: not instant coffee. We're making here your success in whatever
- 5:49Speaker 1: area concerned you. This ain't instant coffee. Here, you put
- 5:55Speaker 1: hot water on it. You got coffee. This is the process.
- 6:00Speaker 1: As let's let's matter of fact. Let's use coffee as
- 6:04Speaker 1: an example. A lot of people are not successful because
- 6:09Speaker 1: of just that they wanted to be like instant coffee. Well,
- 6:11Speaker 1: lot them put this hot water on it. Why ain't
- 6:13Speaker 1: I got coffee? Because you gotta go through the process.
- 6:19Speaker 1: Somebody has to plant something to get a real good
- 6:24Speaker 1: cup of coffee. Somebody got to plant something, a seed
- 6:30Speaker 1: in the ground. The seed is covered with dirt. This
- 6:35Speaker 1: is the process of becoming successful. This ain't instant coffee.
- 6:39Speaker 1: This ain't put hot water in it. Stir it up,
- 6:42Speaker 1: dash your coffee, start your day to become successful. We
- 6:46Speaker 1: all want this cup of coffee. But this is the process.
- 6:49Speaker 1: Somebody has to put a seed in the ground. Somebody
- 6:53Speaker 1: has to cover it with dirt. Someone has to tend it,
- 6:57Speaker 1: someone has to farm it. Someone gotta look after it.
- 7:01Speaker 1: Somebody gotta water, watering, nurturing, fertilize it. Then that seed
- 7:09Speaker 1: sprouts up out the ground becomes a plant. Now, this
- 7:15Speaker 1: plant got to be tended to water, nurtured, prune. Then
- 7:22Speaker 1: after a couple of years or some time goes by,
- 7:26Speaker 1: that plant bears of fruit or bears a plant, a vegetable,
- 7:33Speaker 1: whatever they phrase it, well, whatever they use as a
- 7:36Speaker 1: turn for, and it produces a coffee bean. Now, this
- 7:40Speaker 1: coffee bean has now got to be harvested. It's gotta
- 7:44Speaker 1: get picked. See the same instant coffee yard. You know,
- 7:50Speaker 1: Juan veil Day has gotta come down a dunkey, you've
- 7:53Speaker 1: seen the commercial. He gotta pick it. Then they gotta
- 7:57Speaker 1: package it. Then somebody got to ship it. Now, after
- 8:04Speaker 1: ship it's a coffee being in a package. But now
- 8:07Speaker 1: I guess what on this d over here. Somebody gotta
- 8:10Speaker 1: pay for it. Then it's got to be the particular
- 8:16Speaker 1: brand that you want, or it's gotta be the brand
- 8:19Speaker 1: that tastes best to you. Somebody got to purchase it.
- 8:24Speaker 1: Then we take that being home. Now, guess what we
- 8:27Speaker 1: gotta do. Still still got some work to do. If
- 8:30Speaker 1: you got coffee beans, you got to have a coffee grinder.
- 8:34Speaker 1: You got to meel it up to the right consistency.
- 8:37Speaker 1: Then you got to put it in your pot. You
- 8:41Speaker 1: gotta heat up some water to a to to a
- 8:44Speaker 1: certain temperature, and then you gotta get it to boiling.
- 8:47Speaker 1: I mean what you know, whatever temperature it is, you
- 8:49Speaker 1: gotta get it to ball and the near balling or whatever.
- 8:52Speaker 1: And then it's got to do go through another process
- 8:54Speaker 1: called brewing. It's got to brew. Then when it's done
- 9:00Speaker 1: brewing and the roma feels the house and that fragrance
- 9:03Speaker 1: that you love so much to smell a coffee if
- 9:05Speaker 1: you're a coffee drinker, but we're just using this as
- 9:08Speaker 1: an analogy, then you get to pull yourself a cup.
- 9:14Speaker 1: That's the process. You got to understand. There is a
- 9:19Speaker 1: process to becoming successful. Ain't no shortcut. There ain't no
- 9:24Speaker 1: instant coffee that tastes better than the coffee I just described.
- 9:28Speaker 1: And it don't last that long, and it don't belong
- 9:32Speaker 1: to you. You didn't earn it. It's instant. It just
- 9:40Speaker 1: don't taste the same. It's been freeze dried for your convenience.
- 9:47Speaker 1: The best coffee in the world is brewed. It's a process.
- 9:55Speaker 1: Your success is a process. Don't don't get deterred by
- 10:05Speaker 1: the process. Don't give up because it seems like it's
- 10:10Speaker 1: too many steps. Keep taking. Don't let the process stop you.
- 10:19Speaker 1: Be determined. Don't let the process defeat you. That's what
- 10:25Speaker 1: stops people from becoming successful. That's why there aren't more
- 10:30Speaker 1: successful people in whatever area you're talking about, because the
- 10:34Speaker 1: process gets to him. I'm tired of planning, I'm tired
- 10:38Speaker 1: of picking, I'm tired of filizing, I'm tired of watering.
- 10:41Speaker 1: I'm tired of grinding. I'm tired of waiting. I won't
- 10:45Speaker 1: I want to cough. And now it's a process. Success
- 10:49Speaker 1: as a process. Don't turn around, y'all. Keep praying God
- 10:54Speaker 1: to help you keep moving. Let's go. You're listening to
- 11:02Speaker 1: twenty one minutes after that. I welcome to the ride.
- 11:05Speaker 1: Everybody on board? Are you on board? How are you
- 11:10Speaker 1: talking about? Long pause? Yeah, everybody's here. What's going on?
- 11:17Speaker 1: Had man? The nephew is back from vacation. How about that?
- 11:20Speaker 1: Is that good? Lad you back? Thank you? We missed
- 11:23Speaker 1: you man, Thank you, and I'm gonna get on all
- 11:25Speaker 1: of y'all in due time. We really didn't miss you, man,
- 11:28Speaker 1: Thank you, and by when he means him, but they
- 11:31Speaker 1: missed you too. They told me let's go down to
- 11:33Speaker 1: miss land. Surely did you miss me? First of all?
- 11:37Speaker 1: Good morning? That's how we started this show. You're coming
- 11:41Speaker 1: to this house and not speak everybody on this port? Yeah? Yeah,
- 11:49Speaker 1: you know how you were raised. I'm sorry, you're right,
- 11:52Speaker 1: junior boy. Yeah, man, I missed you. Man. I'm glad
- 11:55Speaker 1: you're back to thank you topping them on the call.
- 11:58Speaker 1: Hey nephew, what's up? Crew? All right? All right, thank you,

- 12:57Speaker 1: cool gifts. I actually cook for Fathers Day. I feel
- 13:00Speaker 1: I felt like cooking. So I did a show I
- 13:03Speaker 1: was at what was that The arena was probably still
- 13:08Speaker 1: on stage. I mean, god, you know your cousin going going.
- 13:17Speaker 1: So we're going on first and he's sounding like an
- 13:19Speaker 1: hour and a half and then Rudy Russia's headlining. M
- 13:23Speaker 1: Seeing Seeing comes on stage, puts a chair down instead
- 13:35Speaker 1: of walking around, so the people in the back couldn't
- 13:37Speaker 1: even see all. It's it's her behind right, this is around.
- 13:41Speaker 1: You gotta work you gotta work around. Don d c.
- 13:44Speaker 1: Current comes in smoking. We had to call the fire

- 17:13Speaker 1: it until you set that just now, But I feel
- 17:16Speaker 1: you on it. But everything they wanted to do was
- 17:21Speaker 1: dad devil. Like we did the zip line, it was
- 17:27Speaker 1: we've done it. But my kids was just dog and
- 17:30Speaker 1: daddy out because the higher we got up, I wanted
- 17:33Speaker 1: to come back down. You can go different heights. No, no, no,
- 17:36Speaker 1: as you once you start, you have to keep Yeah,
- 17:40Speaker 1: wait a minute, Timmy, not to cut your story off,
- 17:42Speaker 1: but I gotta I gotta remind you of this. Remember

- 18:37Speaker 1: about the Tupac biopic All Eyes on Me. I saw
- 18:41Speaker 1: it over the weekend. I liked it. I thought it
- 18:45Speaker 1: was good. I thought the young man who played Tupac
- 18:47Speaker 1: did a very good job. I was he did, he did,
- 18:51Speaker 1: and he's got another project coming up right after this one.
- 18:54Speaker 1: Yeah he's doing. Yes, he's doing it. Say that DERI
- 19:02Speaker 1: and not doing you're doing suppress and then he goes
- 19:08Speaker 1: right into production. We must stop this. His name is
- 19:13Speaker 1: Demetrius Ship Jr. You're gonna be doing the talk and
- 19:20Speaker 1: everything'll be doing it. It's amazing. It's amazing. You know,
- 19:26Speaker 1: you're amazing. All right, here's great news, great news. The
- 19:33Speaker 1: Carter twins are here. Beyonce and jay Z had their babies.
- 19:38Speaker 1: Yet we'll have national news headlines. Miss Anna's out today.
- 19:43Speaker 1: I'll be doing those headlines. But right now it is Monday.
- 19:46Speaker 1: Reverend Adnoid there he goes, and Dick and def Jam
- 19:51Speaker 1: back in the building. They're here with church compliance and
- 19:54Speaker 1: back in the building and been on vacation. It is now.

- 20:45Speaker 1: through directly through you? Now it's just cool chool get
- 20:50Speaker 1: that's a mouth breatherer. If I haven't heard was girls
- 20:54Speaker 1: they got some in heller for that. You've tried all
- 20:57Speaker 1: of that. None of that works. Ps. All of this
- 21:02Speaker 1: this is now He went with bick vapor. What I'm
- 21:07Speaker 1: telling you this day, well, I have some complaints. Then
- 21:17Speaker 1: let's see if you can handle this. While your brother
- 21:21Speaker 1: that the tambourine sister Bernardina, Loma Linda and Gustie Parral
- 21:31Speaker 1: had a fight with the drummer and the bass player
- 21:35Speaker 1: for sitting the instruments on the tambourines and bending them.
- 21:39Speaker 1: Now one of the tambarines is around the drummer's neck
- 21:43Speaker 1: and he can't get that off. The bass player is
- 21:46Speaker 1: still unconscious with a tambourine learned in his left butt cheek. Uh.
- 21:54Speaker 1: They are wanting for you to figure out how to
- 21:56Speaker 1: get the drama and the bass player because they don't
- 21:59Speaker 1: look like gonna make it when he walkes you here, chink.
- 22:06Speaker 1: One shakes his neck and the other shakes his But
- 22:09Speaker 1: you can get a song out of yea. I have
- 22:16Speaker 1: a church announcement. I have one church adoot me get
- 22:18Speaker 1: this in real quick time. I've heard that and said
- 22:21Speaker 1: that the white actually meet tips on their black brandkids hair.
- 22:26Speaker 1: We'll meet in meeting rooms. Have the right parents, the
- 22:31Speaker 1: right brandparents need tips on their black brandchild's head. Have
- 22:38Speaker 1: you don't see that? That is the most disgusting thing
- 22:43Speaker 1: trying to come to that little room. My goodness, go
- 22:45Speaker 1: right ahead. Christ I think y'all need to start with
- 22:48Speaker 1: this grief and scalps. That need to be the first seat.
- 22:51Speaker 1: That is the saddest thing. He tried to act like
- 22:53Speaker 1: that with a little girl that's walk away from away
- 22:59Speaker 1: from her head of the baby. I know, complain here.
- 23:06Speaker 1: The wet Robe car Wash fund raised this Saturday, and
- 23:11Speaker 1: now we are asking that Sister Sharing and Sister car
- 23:14Speaker 1: and participate this year. They have missed the last two
- 23:18Speaker 1: years and they have yet to confirm they they're gonna come. Yes, right,
- 23:24Speaker 1: and we want them in the wet Robe car Wash
- 23:27Speaker 1: participate because let's we had to wear two tough situation that,
- 23:32Speaker 1: Oh my god, did we raise money? We know we
- 23:36Speaker 1: could raise a lot if we get these two, if
- 23:44Speaker 1: we could at least get one in the front of
- 23:46Speaker 1: the car one in the back. Do have you blew
- 23:55Speaker 1: you up? Now? It's been blown? O can't go ahead,
- 24:02Speaker 1: It's hard here. We go back room forth, Here we go. Uhh.
- 24:11Speaker 1: The pretty girls with one's had friend meeting on him.
- 24:17Speaker 1: The pretty girls with the one fat friend meeting will
- 24:20Speaker 1: be held, you know every pretty girls got always. We'll
- 24:27Speaker 1: be held in meeting room seven. Now here's a lot footnote.
- 24:31Speaker 1: The fat friend must stay outside. But the meeting is
- 24:36Speaker 1: about for the pretty girls. Some pretty girls who have

- 27:03Speaker 1: can't say that one big girls to let the show
- 27:06Speaker 1: just a little good with meeting meeting room four, meeting
- 27:13Speaker 1: for these girls just just be a little bit. It's
- 27:17Speaker 1: a little terrible good, just not much, just scary, just

- 27:56Speaker 1: with folk bread. I'm not gonna do what you now,
- 27:59Speaker 1: Why would I do something in front something the back?
- 28:02Speaker 1: I don't care if you're coming to go, and it's
- 28:03Speaker 1: all right with me. The back I hate. Let me
- 28:11Speaker 1: and then who liked to walk in their arms don't move,
- 28:14Speaker 1: will be asked. Just don't move it up? Yeah yeah,
- 28:20Speaker 1: it just hands straight up and down, straight straight up.

- 28:30Speaker 1: know what they up to. If your hand can't fit
- 28:32Speaker 1: in your pipe, if your arms don't sweating, it means something.
- 28:36Speaker 1: Look what I'm saying, Oh man, this is so ignorant.
- 28:42Speaker 1: Well that's how the complaints I had, that's all the

- 30:14Speaker 1: little bit. It's a little bit, yeah, a little bit. Alright,
- 30:23Speaker 1: As as I mentioned, Miss Anna's on vacation. You're listening
- 30:27Speaker 1: to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Alright, as we mentioned,
- 30:32Speaker 1: Steve Harvey is out much needed rest. Uh and miss
- 30:38Speaker 1: and out, miss and get a nap. He can't go
- 30:47Speaker 1: to Columbia, he can't go to Flint. He can't do nothing,
- 30:50Speaker 1: man Rich. So yeah, miss and is out. So I'll
- 30:56Speaker 1: have the news for you this morning and checking the movie.
- 30:59Speaker 1: The weekend movie money Makers Cars three, Cars three has
- 31:04Speaker 1: ended Wonder Woman's reign at the box office. The animated sequel.
- 31:08Speaker 1: It earned fifty three and a half million dollars fifty
- 31:13Speaker 1: three point five million in its debut weekend. That's for cars.
- 31:21Speaker 1: I loved one and two. I loved one of the
- 31:25Speaker 1: very funny. That's the thing about it. Good because school
- 31:30Speaker 1: is out and everything, so the kids are out, so
- 31:32Speaker 1: you gotta take your kids to the movie. I go, oh, yeah,
- 31:37Speaker 1: for sure. This is a sixteenth Pixar film to open
- 31:40Speaker 1: at number one, number two. As I mentioned, Wonder Woman
- 31:43Speaker 1: forty eight million, number three movie. All Eyes on Me
- 31:49Speaker 1: seven point one million dollars it took to make this movie, though,
- 31:56Speaker 1: I gotta we gotta look that up, alright, All Eyes
- 31:59Speaker 1: on Me. It's a two Puck Shakore biopic. It opened
- 32:01Speaker 1: in third Okay, Like there's a little in the movie.
- 32:04Speaker 1: If you go see it, you don't know if you
- 32:05Speaker 1: called it. This is actually true. There's an iPhone six.
- 32:09Speaker 1: I really I heard I heard that. I didn't. Yeah,
- 32:15Speaker 1: this should have been Yeah, they're taking phone seven. That's
- 32:21Speaker 1: what I heard. I phoned seven. That's what I heard
- 32:24Speaker 1: that did let you know that really you ain't did?
- 32:30Speaker 1: That's like watching The Western and the Phone right, Yeah? Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 32:36Speaker 1: was a good movie. I thought it was good. I really.
- 32:39Speaker 1: The film stars Dimitrius Ship Junior as Tupac. Demitrius Ship
- 32:44Speaker 1: talks about reflecting the different personas of Tupac and all
- 32:48Speaker 1: eyes on me take a listen. Everybody has the Park
- 32:51Speaker 1: that they love and that's I love the poetic Park,
- 32:56Speaker 1: I love the doug like Park, I love the philosopher Park.
- 33:00Speaker 1: I loved it, but I want them to be able
- 33:02Speaker 1: to see it all in a way that they haven't
- 33:04Speaker 1: seen him before. Well, congratulations to you, Dimitrius Ship Junior,
- 33:10Speaker 1: because you did an outstanding job. As we look so
- 33:15Speaker 1: close movie so as he finished, what's your production stch
- 33:19Speaker 1: right after this, and Sheryl is doing Wesley's movie. So y'all,
- 33:31Speaker 1: you guys stop that. That is not nice, does it?
- 33:38Speaker 1: And we won't do it if you don't laugh, I'm
- 33:40Speaker 1: not laughing you you fu back down. Here's a question
- 33:51Speaker 1: for you guys. What's your favorite Tupac song? Oh Yes,
- 34:03Speaker 1: come out, Come out California. Love the one that did
- 34:13Speaker 1: for Biggie, which meant that something had to happen when
- 34:17Speaker 1: he wrote the song. That's why you weren't starts off,
- 34:20Speaker 1: That's why I you know, with the song starts like that.
- 34:23Speaker 1: First he's cutting a biggie him him. If that don't
- 34:30Speaker 1: make you want to fight, nothing else will? Man? Put
- 34:33Speaker 1: it on the church and that's on your way to him.
- 34:40Speaker 1: But you're supposed to go to somebody's house when somebody
- 34:42Speaker 1: does a song like that went in. This is what
- 34:46Speaker 1: Matt Bonds was playing when he was rolling the hook
- 34:49Speaker 1: up with Fisher that day. How do you record that
- 34:55Speaker 1: and don't expect somebody to come after you? Man? That's man? Yeah,
- 35:03Speaker 1: I did, I did, I did one time. Yeah in
- 35:09Speaker 1: l A, Yeah I did. He was a nice guy.
- 35:14Speaker 1: You're talking about charisma, He had it. He really really did.
- 35:20Speaker 1: Beautiful smile one hundred what smile I mean just yeah.
- 35:24Speaker 1: So what lady said about what is she upset about? Well,
- 35:27Speaker 1: the King with Jada Um. She was saying that they
- 35:31Speaker 1: didn't really depict their relationship true to life in the movie. Uh,
- 35:35Speaker 1: you know, but the thing is, Jada, it's it is
- 35:38Speaker 1: a movie, you know, and they have artistic license, you know,
- 35:43Speaker 1: in a movie to write it how they want to
- 35:45Speaker 1: I think she she thought that they perhaps made it
- 35:48Speaker 1: too deep or problem. Okay, and that's the end of
- 35:55Speaker 1: that conversation. Switch to the news. We get serious, Shirley. No,
- 36:01Speaker 1: don't even behind it at Shirley. Let's start here. In
- 36:07Speaker 1: response to reports that the Justice Department is investigating Donald
- 36:10Speaker 1: Trump for a potential obstruction of justice, his attorney Jay Sekalou,
- 36:16Speaker 1: has insisted that there is not an investigation of the
- 36:19Speaker 1: President of the United States period. Secalo was a guest
- 36:22Speaker 1: in NBC's Meet the Press. Take a Listen. The president
- 36:26Speaker 1: is not under investigation? Is James come Stead in his
- 36:29Speaker 1: testimony that the president was not the target of investigation
- 36:32Speaker 1: on three different occasions. Okay. The statement, however, is in
- 36:37Speaker 1: contradiction to the president's own social media post. I am
- 36:40Speaker 1: being investigated for firing the FBI director by the man
- 36:44Speaker 1: who told me to fire the FBI director. That's what
- 36:47Speaker 1: Trump's tweet read on Friday. So they need to get
- 36:51Speaker 1: it together. Huh oh my god. Yeah, defend the man.
- 36:56Speaker 1: And then the man going back and tweet I'm on
- 36:58Speaker 1: the investigation. This is great, the president. It's not under investigation.
- 37:05Speaker 1: It's just it just is crazy. Alright, coming up, eu
- 37:08Speaker 1: Gene the Butterfly will be here with this Butterfly Blog.
- 37:10Speaker 1: We'll be back at twenty after you're listening to Steve
- 37:14Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. Hid everybody, it is time all the
- 37:18Speaker 1: way from San Francisco. Give it up, Give it up
- 37:25Speaker 1: for the butterfly. Baby. Now that's how you enter this, Sam,
- 37:29Speaker 1: That that's how you bring me out, me out. Oh
- 37:39Speaker 1: my god, you did, you did, good did? First of all,
- 37:42Speaker 1: I want to say, um, good morning everyone. I'm fresh
- 37:45Speaker 1: out the um the vacation thing, this guy bigs. I
- 37:49Speaker 1: want to say hello to Jay, Anthony Brown, the girls, Um,
- 37:54Speaker 1: Shirley and Carl Hello, keep you Tommy, and then of
- 37:58Speaker 1: course Junior kid Junior. So anyway, I'm gotten back. You know, yeah,
- 38:11Speaker 1: I laid out, girl. You know you gotta lay it out.
- 38:18Speaker 1: So I laid it out. And did anybody put something
- 38:23Speaker 1: on my back? Because you know you don't. You don't
- 38:28Speaker 1: want to. You want to be even right, yeah, you know, yeah,
- 38:33Speaker 1: you want to be dark in front and light skiing
- 38:35Speaker 1: and doesn't look right. That's not cute. Do you burn easily? Now?
- 38:42Speaker 1: You know I put on a good layer. You know
- 38:45Speaker 1: it was anybody, but I always down to my towels.
- 38:48Speaker 1: Everything was just bronze. So you got the color you wanted.
- 38:53Speaker 1: I got the color to take you to get the
- 38:56Speaker 1: color you wanted. It was the third day you got
- 38:59Speaker 1: it not and head got to what I was really
- 39:01Speaker 1: trying to do, and it was it was just I
- 39:03Speaker 1: just was gold and I was just glistening. So it
- 39:06Speaker 1: really let's go, I said, okay, man, where'd you go? Though? Jane?
- 39:09Speaker 1: I mean, I TI where you go? Now? I don't
- 39:13Speaker 1: want to go, kid, that's not fun. How did you vacation? Separately? Curious?
- 39:21Speaker 1: Did you go? There's some nice places up like, um,
- 39:24Speaker 1: I don't know. I went goes now, No, they're not
- 39:31Speaker 1: you kid. Now, I went to Fuji Fiji. I'm saying
- 39:37Speaker 1: you went to fi I went to feed like the
- 39:41Speaker 1: water for the water. So so that was my um,
- 39:47Speaker 1: you know, that was my my big thing is I
- 39:49Speaker 1: went out and I just I met a lot of
- 39:51Speaker 1: new people. You did, okay, anybody special? Dexter he was
- 39:57Speaker 1: sound nice, was nice. And then I met um, who
- 40:02Speaker 1: is it? What Felix was? We mean Felix. Felix was
- 40:05Speaker 1: right good. Don't let you had a good time. It
- 40:08Speaker 1: was a wonderful time. And well you know it was
- 40:10Speaker 1: an all inclusive type of riz work, so you don't
- 40:12Speaker 1: have to pull money out now, you just keep it.
- 40:15Speaker 1: You have a risk being down and it was the
- 40:17Speaker 1: only difficult part about that is you have to you know,
- 40:19Speaker 1: it's hard to watch. And I think we was out
- 40:21Speaker 1: just dirty under by risk because you can't take that out.
- 40:28Speaker 1: But you would have been proud of me. I hand on.
- 40:30Speaker 1: Some patients look like you made them. They have no pockets,
- 40:33Speaker 1: not in frunting. And I just kept my idea in
- 40:35Speaker 1: my hand in the house and right tomorrow I need
- 40:41Speaker 1: to tell you all because I'm all dished it for
- 40:42Speaker 1: a Gudfather movies that any time to know about. All right,
- 40:46Speaker 1: Jonny Brown is gonna murder another hit when we come
- 40:49Speaker 1: back at thirty four after you're listening Steve Hartley Morning Show.
- 40:54Speaker 1: All right, Jake, come on, it is time for you
- 40:56Speaker 1: to murder another hit. Just long. First of all, it
- 41:01Speaker 1: was dedicated to all my diabetics out there. There's three
- 41:06Speaker 1: types of diabetics, Type one, type two, and type three.
- 41:09Speaker 1: That's somebody who lives with the diabetic one or two.
- 41:12Speaker 1: That's what I'm saying. So what I said three dedicated
- 41:14Speaker 1: to diabetics who won't listen. We just won't not listen
- 41:18Speaker 1: and have this attitude. I'm gonna just eat what it
- 41:20Speaker 1: I like. So so here's your song. Ta you can
- 41:25Speaker 1: do whatever you like. You never whatever you like is
- 41:27Speaker 1: that song. You can have whatever you like, whatever you
- 41:30Speaker 1: like mine is. You can eat whatever you like. Check
- 41:33Speaker 1: it out on the Steve Harvey Martin and show chay
- 41:35Speaker 1: it out when something goes out. Don't diabetics, you really
- 41:38Speaker 1: don't take care of themselves. You can eat whatever you lie,
- 41:42Speaker 1: you lie, and you can eat whatever you lie. You lie,
- 41:48Speaker 1: se team you're a diabetic. You eat whatever. You can
- 41:57Speaker 1: eat whatever you lie, you lie fris creem. Yes, that's right,
- 42:03Speaker 1: slipping through a dietvatic cover. Still you can eat whatever
- 42:07Speaker 1: you lie. That's right. You can eat whatever you lie.
- 42:14Speaker 1: You eat what you want to know. You ain't supposed
- 42:17Speaker 1: to shoogar eyes hell doctor telling you I want you

- 43:33Speaker 1: it goes? All right, Kelly can use the track over
- 43:35Speaker 1: and over. You're running out, you're running out what. I
- 43:40Speaker 1: don't know how. Let's go into all the closet. We
- 43:48Speaker 1: all live in the closet. At the closet, nobody said,
- 43:52Speaker 1: damn thing. Let's let you repeat. Yeah, Shirley, you're right,
- 44:00Speaker 1: this be whatever you like with the census p we
- 44:08Speaker 1: pick again. I know that fra new guy. All right,
- 44:26Speaker 1: thank you, Jay, looking forward to hearing it again. All right,
- 44:35Speaker 1: I know you guys have heard this. A mistrial was
- 44:37Speaker 1: declared in the Bill Cosby's sexual assault case on Saturday.
- 44:43Speaker 1: It's not time yet, Jay. The judge made the move
- 44:46Speaker 1: because the jury was unable to reach a unanimous decision
- 44:49Speaker 1: after fifty three hours of deliberations. One of the comedians
- 44:53Speaker 1: lawyers said, we came here looking for an acquittal, but
- 44:56Speaker 1: like that Rolling Stone song says, you don't always get
- 44:59Speaker 1: what you want. Sometimes you get what you need. The
- 45:02Speaker 1: district attorney told reporters that the prosecution will seek a retrial.
- 45:05Speaker 1: Cosby was accused of drugging and sexually assaulting Andrea Constant
- 45:09Speaker 1: in two thousand four. Seventy nine year old faced up
- 45:12Speaker 1: to a decade in prison. It found guilty of the charges.
- 45:15Speaker 1: After the announcement, wait, Bill Cosby responded with, hitted, ja,
- 45:23Speaker 1: what is the nephew? Did he walk up by myself?

- 45:52Speaker 1: have my flavor on top of it. You know we
- 45:54Speaker 1: missed that flavor. Y'all ain't intrudy, right, And I did
- 46:01Speaker 1: an outstanding she did. Yeah, we didn't even know you
- 46:07Speaker 1: were gone. Yeah, we like you were still here. Yeah

- 47:20Speaker 1: Why they are you're withering? Because they're in the house
- 47:23Speaker 1: right now. I'm wait a minute, Wait a minute. You're saying,
- 47:26Speaker 1: somebody there broken the house when they steal in there, somebody,
- 47:29Speaker 1: I'm broke in the house. I'm in the house. Now
- 47:33Speaker 1: hold on. You're saying, somebody that broke it to you
- 47:36Speaker 1: damn house and they feel in there. Yes, what you're
- 47:40Speaker 1: don't see nothing? Now why you called the police. I'm
- 47:42Speaker 1: in the closet. I'm in the closet and I'm trying

- 47:49Speaker 1: know what to do. And then you're saying, somebody in
- 47:52Speaker 1: the house, in your damn house, white not just okay,

- 55:36Speaker 1: That's hello, Yeah, she showed up. Hold on type. We
- 55:48Speaker 1: gotta fill your strawberry letter. Alright, nephew, here we go,
- 55:52Speaker 1: h and Steve's out today, So it's gonna be me responding.
- 55:57Speaker 1: Of course, it's gonna be Jay responding. It is going
- 55:59Speaker 1: to be the nephew you, and then we'll all probably
- 56:02Speaker 1: get together at the end. Yeah, come on now, subject,
- 56:08Speaker 1: why doesn't he trust me? Remember that? Okay, remember she
- 56:12Speaker 1: asked that question? Why doesn't he trust me? Dear Stephen Shirley,
- 56:16Speaker 1: I need some advice. I've been with my boyfriend for
- 56:18Speaker 1: over two years. We lived together and we have a
- 56:21Speaker 1: two month old baby. We have a lot of issues.
- 56:26Speaker 1: He has cheated on me a couple of times, and
- 56:28Speaker 1: I've forgiven him for everything. Because he cheated. He thinks
- 56:32Speaker 1: I'm cheating too. I've been faithful to him since day one.
- 56:37Speaker 1: But before I met him, I had a one night
- 56:40Speaker 1: stand with his cousin and his cousin's husband. He always
- 56:45Speaker 1: throws that in my face, and I'm getting tired of it.
- 56:48Speaker 1: He should let it go. I forgave him for cheating,
- 56:51Speaker 1: So why can't he move past this? What should I do? Please? Help? Oh?
- 56:57Speaker 1: I was on your side at the beginning of this letter,
- 56:59Speaker 1: I he was. I was truly on your side. But
- 57:03Speaker 1: you know, I've changed a little because this is just
- 57:07Speaker 1: not the way you do this. I know this happened
- 57:10Speaker 1: before you met the guy and everything, but but the
- 57:12Speaker 1: fact that it was his cousin and then his cousin's husband,
- 57:16Speaker 1: you know, that's that's what he can't get past. Um,
- 57:19Speaker 1: you know, and as far as cheating goes, there's such
- 57:23Speaker 1: a double standard here. I mean, you might be a
- 57:27Speaker 1: little young. I'm thinking you're young, and you may not
- 57:29Speaker 1: know like the rules. You know, the rules are that
- 57:32Speaker 1: there's a double standard. You we just can't do what
- 57:35Speaker 1: they do. And they still have the same high opinion
- 57:38Speaker 1: of us. It's just the way it is. And you know,
- 57:42Speaker 1: you gotta get smarter here. Um, women are the worst
- 57:47Speaker 1: thing in the world. Two men when they cheat like this.
- 57:49Speaker 1: You know, yes, men do it all the time and
- 57:51Speaker 1: they're simply called cheaters, but women have I know. But
- 57:55Speaker 1: that's in his mind, that's what he's thinking because she
- 57:58Speaker 1: did did it with his cousin and then his cousin's
- 58:02Speaker 1: his cousin's husband. This is a crazy letter. Uh, you know,
- 58:06Speaker 1: she didn't cheat, but in I'm sure that's probably what
- 58:09Speaker 1: he's thinking, even though it was before the relationship. He
- 58:12Speaker 1: can't get that out of his mind because she was
- 58:14Speaker 1: with his cousin and his cousin's husband. You know, that's
- 58:18Speaker 1: the that's the bad part about this. So he's just
- 58:21Speaker 1: he's yeah, he's lumping it all together. Um, I mean
- 58:25Speaker 1: at this point, you know, I can't I don't see
- 58:29Speaker 1: how this relationship is going to make it. You know,
- 58:32Speaker 1: you guys have a baby together. Now this is this
- 58:35Speaker 1: relationship is in real trouble here because he can't get
- 58:38Speaker 1: past this, and I doubt if he ever will get
- 58:40Speaker 1: past this. I don't see it. You, on the other hand,
- 58:43Speaker 1: have to be an example for this two month old
- 58:45Speaker 1: baby you have, and so does he. I mean, I
- 58:48Speaker 1: would be happy if you guys try to work it out,
- 58:50Speaker 1: But it doesn't look like he's trying to get past it.
- 58:53Speaker 1: And it looks like it's because of the fact that
- 58:55Speaker 1: it's his relatives, even though it was before the fact.
- 58:58Speaker 1: He still looks at it as you cheat it. Ja. Yeah,
- 59:02Speaker 1: I just want to pick up one part of the
- 59:03Speaker 1: letter shirt before I met him, Before I met him
- 59:06Speaker 1: and had a one night standing with his cousin and
- 59:08Speaker 1: then his cousin's husband. He always throws us up in
- 59:12Speaker 1: my face and him getting tired of it, he should
- 59:14Speaker 1: let it go. Here's the thing, Shirley, every man, at
- 59:17Speaker 1: one point in life wants to go to a family reunion.
- 59:20Speaker 1: You have made it impossible for this man to go
- 59:27Speaker 1: to any family reunion. And here'sn't What T shirt do
- 59:32Speaker 1: you wear since you've been with both sides of the family.
- 59:38Speaker 1: What's your color T shirt? Is your T shirt? Since
- 59:46Speaker 1: you slept with the cousin and the cousin he can't go.
- 59:52Speaker 1: Every man needs to go to one at least one
- 59:54Speaker 1: in their life. You made it impossible pass the busincause
- 59:59Speaker 1: he's looking at his cousin. You've haven't been with his cousin.
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: The man is passing him chicken. You know what's going
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: through his mind? Not chicken. It ain't chicken. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: that's about you. That's that's that's what y'all got out. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: something y'all not looking at the fact or what her
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: strong suit is. She's good at two people. She see
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: what I'm saying, See when you can knock out two
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: people at one, look at her strong suit. Shirley, Alright,
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: quit being so negative about what she was not with
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: this man. Okay, all right, you have to look at
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: what she's good at doing. She's good at doing two people.
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: Surely she's good at that. I'd like to be No,
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: surely I'd like to book her for some things I
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: got coming up into. She's good at it. Okay, at
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: least she kept it all in the family Yes, she
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: ain't just running around loose lick cousin and cousin's house. Yes,
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: this is a beautiful that is loose. By the way,
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: are you looking at her strong suit? But she can
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: handle two people at one game and it doesn't bother her.
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: She's good at that. You have to look at what
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: somebody's good. Surely, if you're a thief and you're good
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: at it, I'm gonna show your love you're a good thing.
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: This lady is good at what she does. And I'm
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: the only one see this. You always are. Again, you're
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: by yourself. That his cousin and his cousin's husband, and
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: that to be tested. But nobody's cheating, Shirley, if you
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: think about it, look at this. She doesn't. She did
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: not cheat on this guy. And guess what, husband of
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: the cousin is not cheap because his wife is right
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: there with him. Makes sense to me, It makes plenty
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: perfect sense. It's just beautiful passion, people, beautiful passion. Beautiful Yeah,
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: did you did you? Did you miss the part where
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: it said that she had a one night stand with
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: his cousin and being four four already killing him then?
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: But the man you know that would bother. You come
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: on now, you are allowed. You are allowed a one
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: night stand if you are not with anybody four you
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: and a man would say that. I can't believe that.
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: So I'm the only one. Hand one nice thing. Ain't
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: nobody on this show? Hand one? They've cost me, but
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: I've had them, but go right ahead, the only one
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: somebody show? But what they head down right now? Time?
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: Everybody just shut up? Nobody. Ain't nobody being with another
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: couple and all y'all another people, another couple, y'all. I'll
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: tell you it can't even one of these tools in
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: the row. All right, but we have we'll have more
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: on this letter coming up at twenty three after the hour.
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: We'll be back. You're listening to the Steve Harvey alright,
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: coming up at forty one after the hour, you can
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: call the nephew. The nephew is back calling for your
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: weekend confession. But up next right now, I should say
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: part two of the Strawberry Letter. And by the way,
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: if you have some relationship issues, please go to Steve
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: Harvey dot com and uh write us, Yeah, relationship issues.
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: We will um, we will definitely help you and give
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: you some advice. Okay, this letter. This has to be,
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: I think the shortest letter we've ever had. She got
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: right to the point though, subject why doesn't he trust me? Well?
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: We have time to read this when it's so short.
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: Dear Stephen Shirley, I need some advice. I've been with
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: my boyfriend for over two years. We lived together, we
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: have a two month old baby. We have a lot
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: of issues. He has cheated on me a couple of times,
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: and I've forgiven him for everything because he cheated. He
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: thinks I'm cheating too. I've been faithful to him since
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: day one, but before I met him, I had a
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: one night stand with his cousin and his cousin's husband.
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: He always throws that in my face and I'm getting
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: tired of it. He should let it go. I forgave
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: him for cheating, so why can't he move past this?
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: What should I do? Please? Help? This is a crazy
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: letter right here, And she said so much. We have
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: a lot of issues. When she said that lunch, it
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: is especially you guys can't And then you know, with
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: the cheating situation, it's just such a double standard. Yeah,
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: it's just such a he and he cheated in his mind.
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: That's Okay, she forgave him, but he, like Jay said,
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: can't let it go and forgive her for something that
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: she did before. Full of double double standards. Absolutely everything, absolutely,
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: And it sounds like she's kind of young and she
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: doesn't get that. You know that men don't accept women
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: doing the same thing as they do when it comes
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: to cheating. When it comes to cheating. Maybe on the job, yes,
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: and and other things like that, but when it comes
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: to cheating, no. I think she should do more family uncles,
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: and she probably she probably did. Have you lost your
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: entire mind, your entire monk cheating. She forgave him exactly.
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: But but the thing about this is though in all seriousness,
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: they have a two month old child. They have to
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: get it together. It doesn't sound like they're going to,
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: but they have to get it together for this baby.
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: The baby. Baby baby can't see that the baby is
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: gonna be old. If the cousin is in the room,
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: the baby don't really know what's happening. Oh my God,
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: in the room. In the words and in the words
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: of ice Cube, the baby don't need to be seeing this,
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: I understand that. Right. Put the baby in the front room,
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: in the little pin baby don't know who. Baby don't
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: know nothing. He's small. It's small baby. The baby don't
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: know See, this is what happens when you have comedians
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: on the show. If the baby is when you do
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: something to see. I got a lot of uncles. What's going. Yeah,
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: this baby is not gonna stay a baby. This baby
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: is gonna grow up. You need to set an example

- 1:07:08Speaker 1: go down. Yeah, I mean, I don't see Jay if
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: you're saying that, you know, guys, don't let this go.
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: He's not gonna let this go. Yeah, so she may
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: have to decide whether she wants to be in this
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: relationship or not. She's it sounds like to me she's
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: gonna have to get out because the relationship is in trouble.
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: So he would bring this up. Yeah, he's never going
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: We're never gonna let it go. Yeah, he's he's never
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: gonna let this go. All right. That that's the letter
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: for today. I think you should move on. The letter

- 1:08:15Speaker 1: to various sources close to the family. Uh. Their second
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: and third children were born uh this week. The reports
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: came in just after Jay skipped his Songwriters Hall of
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: Fame induction in New York City to be side by
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: side with his wife, who was due to give birth.
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: The twins rumored to be a boy and a girl.
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: They're gonna join. You can't five the baby? Ye did
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: they get the whole hospital flow again? Did they do that? Yeah,
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: they're gonna join. The twins are going to join their
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: five year old big sister Blue Ivy, Beyonce and Matthew
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: knows anyway. Jay confirmed the arrived of the twins with
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: a Twitter post that reads there here he did that yesterday,
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: So congratulations. I'm happy for them. Yes, they just move
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: other people with other illness being there with pneumonia next
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: to be our fight by the office flow. But my
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: lung I don't care, and move along, move along, move along.
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: Heard that and you getting rolled out on the anesthesia.
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: Don't know why today ever, jay Z was at the hospital.
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: They said that he was clearing out security cameras. I
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: need all this now take off because you know, they
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: have their own way of doing things. They really do.
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: She'll announce the set of the baby in the house. Yeah,
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: when you reach the and now that now that you've
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: mentioned that, you guys, though there were rumors that they
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: were going to try to do that as well. So
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: you know how beach and yeah, so you don't know.
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: You don't really know what I'll do a midwife, dude,
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: I might want me one ball water, a lot, a
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: lot of bailing water. I don't know what happened after that.
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: Every show I've seen they bought water. I don't. I
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: had to go to the hospital. I need all that.
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: I need doctor's epidural, I need everything that I got.
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: That didn't get your own flow though, you didn't get
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: your whole flow, did you? Can you keep the midwife
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: after the baby if she's fine, That's what I'm talking about.
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: If she's fine right now, I ain't really see no
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: fine midwife. At the point they're sitting on the stool
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: at the end of the bed. What damn. They always
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: got strong voices to sex. Oh man, you guys all right,
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: coming up, coming up, it's here, nephew. Uh, we're gonna
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: do weekend confessions. Of course we're gonna do that. All right.
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Alright, the
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: Nephews back from vacation and all of that. So it's
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: time for the Nephews weekend confessions. Because what, nephew, I'm
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: not here to help you. I just want to hear
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: what you're going through. Eight seven, seven twenty nine, Steve
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: called the Nephew the the booth is open. Call in
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: and confessed. Don't use your name, pick another name so
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: we can keep it all on the low low. I
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: just want you to just, you know, X here, let
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: it out. Just just give it to me straight from
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: the hill. Somebody, Jay, did you say you have one?
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: You're looking awfully suspicious over you did this weekend. Something
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: I did this week. I'm not proud of it. Okay, okay,
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: I want to come back. I didn't go see I
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: didn't go see the Tupac movie. I'm gonna go see that.
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: But I've been known at this age to go to
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: the movie, pay one price and and sneak in and
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: go see another movie. Age. Yeah, just but I always
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: go because a lot of times it's it's on one
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: side all the movies once. So I try to see
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: what I want to see on one side. You will,
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: you will get the Hey wait a minute on that
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: crossover right away. That still won't. So anything I want
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: to see is always on the one side. That and
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: I don't stop there. I've been known to get a
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: refill on soda. It's not right, it's not right, Yeah,
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: because I love this. So he's ignorant. Man, they will
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: stop you. It was too long. You're a diabetic, man,
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: I remind you, Yes, I know. I yeah, they been
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: sleeping a movie before. Man. Oh no, don't don't know
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: all that sugar he did eight. I'm a popcorn and
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: a diet so really that's all I never get science. Well,
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: you know, if you don't know this, A lot of
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: people don't know this diet. Soda cuts that, and that's
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: why it's called a diet. So you can eat whatever
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: you want. But once you get a diet sold, it
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: cuts candy, popcorn, treats, it cuts in you can have
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: whatever you like, all right, you ready to go to
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: the phone. Let's see, let's go to line three and
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: talk to one of your favorite names, Tommy Corey out
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: of New York City. Corey. Right, what's up, Corey? How

- 1:14:45Speaker 1: yesterday I had the greatest Father's Day I ever had
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: in my life. Okay, talk, I finally got my wife
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: to give into temptations right there in the church. You
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: hit it in your church, man, y'all didn't from writing
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: the church. See. What I did was because I'm diabetic.
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: I had to hit her with the with the diabetic
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: I'm sick and the sick face. And I said, I'm
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: just gonna go sit down in the quiet room real quick.
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: So she came to check on me after about five minutes,
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: and Nasty gave her revelations. Took on the whole new
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: meaning right after that, right there in the choir room.
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: Let let me ask you this here, What was this?
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: What was going on in the service? Cadall here? What
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: what was that that? For you? What was going on
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: in the service at that time? Oh? That was they
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: was reading you know, some of that stuff you don't
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: really pay attention to. But you know, you know you can,

- 1:15:44Speaker 1: the word no, no, no no no, they'll read some scriptures,
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: don't where a little bit because they were. So that's
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: the word. Yeah, that's the word, Corey. Let me ask
- 1:15:55Speaker 1: you this here? Did she take care of your diabetic
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: little dizziness? What? Well? I didn't need no influence. Okay,
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: So after that, did y'all go back out in the
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: church and finished the service? Oh? Yeah, you have to
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: straighten up. You have to straighten up. You know, you
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: gotta straighten up, Go right back like nothing's never happened,
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: Look like nothing never happened, and picked up a fan
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: in the hymn though. Okay, so I'm just curious. I
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: have done a lot of stuff. Ain't done this with here, though,
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: So let me did y'all come completely out of y'all clues? Well,
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: you know what, I'm gonna tell you this. It was
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: weird because you know how your your sue pants got

- 1:23:43Speaker 1: the launder room and uh, I mean she's thirty some
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: years old. She was just okay, perkey, she was she
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: had it going on. And she was walking like Junior's neighbor. Yeah,
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: she was walking out by the pool and I was
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: putting the clothes in the dryer. Hey, let me tell
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: y'all something. I almost got called out there. I went.
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: I was completely naked, left my bedroom and had left
- 1:24:09Speaker 1: something in the car. So I went to the garage
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: when nobody in the house. Man, I had no idea.
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: She had gave a service guy that comes serve the
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: pool gave him up. No, the thing that the code

- 1:24:28Speaker 1: I was running when you ain't had a run to
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: you had a naked run. But naked run is amazing.
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: That's when you're gonna fall. You can hurt something, really
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: damn hurt something. Get bit. I told you guys about
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: about the time I was I took these pictures my
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: my when my mother was alive. My daughter was with her,
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: and they wanted to know. I had told him that
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: I got my hair cut a different way, so they
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: wanted to see it. So I took the picture. I'm
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: in the bathroom. I took the picture of my hair.
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: I sent it to my daughter so she could show
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: my mom on her iPhone. My daughter uh, texting me back, Mom,
- 1:25:16Speaker 1: what is wrong with you? And I said, what what
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: are you talking about? You wanted to see my hair.
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: I took another look at the picture. I was in
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: a two way mirror. I was in the bathroom. I
- 1:25:27Speaker 1: was naked. Yes, sorry, I know it was anyway, I
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: just want to see your hair. Girl. Oh man, all right,
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: we'll be back with some with some stories and more
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: of the show. I was so embarrassed. You're listening to
- 1:25:55Speaker 1: the Steve Show. All right. As we mentioned, Steve is out,
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: the crew is in. Uh. Boy, have I got a
- 1:26:05Speaker 1: story for you guys. Uh. We have to say, um girls,
- 1:26:10Speaker 1: girl power for this one. A woman running in Maine.
- 1:26:13Speaker 1: She was just taking you know, like her morning jog
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: or her jog or whatever. She was in Maine. She
- 1:26:17Speaker 1: saw a rabbit raccoon charging after her, so She put
- 1:26:22Speaker 1: out her hand so the rabbit raccoon could bite her
- 1:26:26Speaker 1: in the hand. She then spotted a puddle, and, with
- 1:26:29Speaker 1: the raccoon still biting on her thumb, drowned him. Okay,
- 1:26:34Speaker 1: so she is being celebrated. She's like battle teacher. Yeah, celebrated. Huh.
- 1:26:41Speaker 1: So it's a rabbit made it with a raccoon, and
- 1:26:45Speaker 1: that's what that is. Well, is that what you thought
- 1:26:49Speaker 1: I meant? Not a rabbit raccoon? What you're saying, Come damn,
- 1:26:56Speaker 1: sitting in the same room. You're not aware of things.
- 1:27:00Speaker 1: That's your boy, Jack, A rabbit and a raccoon, that's
- 1:27:07Speaker 1: what that is. Racoon in the same room. I just
- 1:27:11Speaker 1: I'm amazed. But this is your boy, jay Is you're riding.
- 1:27:18Speaker 1: You can have a saint Bernard Yaki. You know, shut up,
- 1:27:22Speaker 1: shut up, it's overwhelming. It's a junior sitting this close.
- 1:27:30Speaker 1: You can have a rabbit, I said, rabbit as uh
- 1:27:40Speaker 1: raccoon with racy. While the raccoon's still biting her, she
- 1:27:44Speaker 1: takes the raccoon and drowns the raccoon in a puddle
- 1:27:49Speaker 1: of water. Where is Peter not? Yeah, well she was
- 1:27:55Speaker 1: defending herself. Yeah, she's being celebrated this woman for eeping
- 1:28:00Speaker 1: her composure, not freaking out and all that. She was
- 1:28:03Speaker 1: then taken to the hospital for treatment. So this is
- 1:28:06Speaker 1: a white lady rights. Black lady ain't going for the
- 1:28:11Speaker 1: morning stroll job. You got to get to work. Black
- 1:28:15Speaker 1: women run in the morning, call and they got to
- 1:28:19Speaker 1: get to work. Guess we do. We don't see many
- 1:28:24Speaker 1: running in the morning and not let a raccoon bite. Now,
- 1:28:30Speaker 1: a black lady is not gonna hand on a room
- 1:28:33Speaker 1: like no if you don't get your funny looking cuts
- 1:28:42Speaker 1: and shoot to the next scene. She's wearing this fabulous
- 1:28:45Speaker 1: raccoon hat from Stay Fly, Stay Fly, a fur collar raccoon.
- 1:28:59Speaker 1: But sure, you know what I heard about this story,
- 1:29:02Speaker 1: you guys, I was reading it too. So she was
- 1:29:04Speaker 1: running right and she had you know how they have
- 1:29:07Speaker 1: the headphones in there and they're running, and she had
- 1:29:10Speaker 1: her phone. So when she saw when she saw the
- 1:29:15Speaker 1: raccoon charger towards her, she ripped those headphones out and
- 1:29:18Speaker 1: threw her phone down in the water. And then that's
- 1:29:22Speaker 1: she took the raccoon and you dround this raccoon and
- 1:29:29Speaker 1: me too, I have to that's yeah, that's what I
- 1:29:32Speaker 1: was gonna say just put out because you can things
- 1:29:37Speaker 1: happen to you. We got moving, ran over, yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 1:29:42Speaker 1: you got. You have to be aware of your surroundings.
- 1:29:45Speaker 1: You have to be you know, you just can't be
- 1:29:48Speaker 1: oblivious to what's going on in life. You have to
- 1:29:51Speaker 1: be aware. So that's a good thing to take one
- 1:29:54Speaker 1: of the plugs, take one out. Yeah yeah, But can
- 1:29:59Speaker 1: you think of a moment where you would a like
- 1:30:01Speaker 1: surprised and panic? Just think about that nail Salonika. Yeah, okay,
- 1:30:12Speaker 1: coming up. We'll be back after these jams, but I'll
- 1:30:15Speaker 1: tell you about the squirrels when we come back. You're
- 1:30:18Speaker 1: listening to the String Show, all right, so, uh, we're back.
- 1:30:25Speaker 1: We had some crazy things that happened to us. That's
- 1:30:28Speaker 1: what we were talking about earlier when this woman ran
- 1:30:30Speaker 1: into this rabid raccoon and I never said the word
- 1:30:40Speaker 1: coon'ya right Jay, But anyway, we were talking about that,
- 1:30:51Speaker 1: and it made me think of this time I went
- 1:30:53Speaker 1: to the nail salon and um, I was getting in
- 1:30:57Speaker 1: my car and I saw something out of the side
- 1:31:00Speaker 1: of my eye and it was this a little squirrel
- 1:31:02Speaker 1: and the squirrel was actually following me to my car.
- 1:31:05Speaker 1: And you know, I have a truck, so I have
- 1:31:07Speaker 1: to step up. So, you know, it was a little
- 1:31:11Speaker 1: walk from the nail salon to my truck. So I said,
- 1:31:14Speaker 1: this is a squirrel following me. So I stopped. When
- 1:31:17Speaker 1: I stopped, the squirrel stopped. So I started walking again.
- 1:31:20Speaker 1: The squirrel started walking again, and you know, I'm terrified.
- 1:31:24Speaker 1: Wrote it again. I don't like rote it. So anyway,
- 1:31:28Speaker 1: so I'm walking, the squirrels walking. I stopped again, the
- 1:31:30Speaker 1: squirrel stopped, so I'm like, dang, I need to make
- 1:31:33Speaker 1: a run for it because I Am not gonna be
- 1:31:35Speaker 1: bitten by this squirrel. So so I had in this
- 1:31:39Speaker 1: really long coat, so I ran and ran and ran,
- 1:31:42Speaker 1: trying to jump up in my car. And mistake and mistake, mistake, mistake.
- 1:31:46Speaker 1: I broke like three nails just leaving the net salon.
- 1:31:51Speaker 1: And and the squirrel is like sitting there like looking
- 1:31:55Speaker 1: at me, like, yeah, like you know what what me
- 1:32:00Speaker 1: terrifying me? Yeah, So since then, Mississippi Monica sends me
- 1:32:05Speaker 1: squirrel pictures, texts me squirrel pictures from time to time,
- 1:32:09Speaker 1: just you know, to remind from the moment of yeah,
- 1:32:13Speaker 1: it was it was nothing, like no, it was nothing.
- 1:32:16Speaker 1: Like yours. Was it a squirrel too? No, this was
- 1:32:21Speaker 1: a possible. It's impossible a dent in l A. I
- 1:32:26Speaker 1: have a Nissan to Fort, the z X, but I
- 1:32:29Speaker 1: don't know what you call it, but that's that's the car,
- 1:32:32Speaker 1: and it's it's parked on top of this parking Yeah,
- 1:32:34Speaker 1: let's throw back. So it's parked on top of this
- 1:32:37Speaker 1: parking structure and it's open up there and the cars backed.
- 1:32:40Speaker 1: Then I'm going to I'm trying to get to work,
- 1:32:42Speaker 1: you know, I got to get to Shirley and Uncle Steve.
- 1:32:45Speaker 1: We started three o'clock in the morning and it's like
- 1:32:47Speaker 1: two forty five. But I only live but a couple
- 1:32:49Speaker 1: of minutes away. And man, it's a possum behind my
- 1:32:53Speaker 1: car on the fence. I'm stomping, I'm shooting, I'm doing everything.
- 1:32:58Speaker 1: He ain't moving. Finally, about ten minutes later, he finally
- 1:33:02Speaker 1: walked down. Now he's on the side where it's the
- 1:33:04Speaker 1: actual driver side, so I'm back then, so I'm thinking, okay,
- 1:33:08Speaker 1: I'm just gonna go in on the passenger side and
- 1:33:11Speaker 1: slide over. Now on this two for the z X,
- 1:33:16Speaker 1: it's got the little pop up sun root and it
- 1:33:18Speaker 1: don't retract it just pop up. It's popped up because
- 1:33:21Speaker 1: it's l an. You can leave stuff like that breeze coming. Man,
- 1:33:25Speaker 1: I get in on that passage side, and this particular
- 1:33:30Speaker 1: this particular model has the retractable seatbelt. So when I
- 1:33:35Speaker 1: closed that door, that seatbelt came across my face, and
- 1:33:41Speaker 1: I thought that possum was what I mean. And I
- 1:33:46Speaker 1: was swinging with everything I had. Jay, let me tell
- 1:33:50Speaker 1: you something. The greatest whimper I ever had, I gave
- 1:33:52Speaker 1: it to him. A damn beat the hell out of me. Man.
- 1:33:58Speaker 1: My hands was bloody. Man, every thing I beat the
- 1:34:01Speaker 1: living crap out of me. I pulled out, looking at
- 1:34:07Speaker 1: it back in the rear view of me, or that possible,
- 1:34:09Speaker 1: just looking at me like you any year you're listening
- 1:34:16Speaker 1: to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Alright, last break of
- 1:34:19Speaker 1: the day before we head out of here. Let you
- 1:34:22Speaker 1: continue your day and we get started with ours again. Uh.
- 1:34:26Speaker 1: Here's a study that says, um, according to some women,
- 1:34:31Speaker 1: they don't like these things. They think men should stop
- 1:34:34Speaker 1: doing these things because it's a total turn off. Okay,
- 1:34:38Speaker 1: what yeah? They really these things really bother women chewing tobacco? Yeah, yeah,
- 1:34:48Speaker 1: definitely Comparing alright, comparing the woman you're with two other women.
- 1:34:54Speaker 1: You know, def Oh that's a no. You could do
- 1:35:03Speaker 1: it in your mind, you know, under your breath. You
- 1:35:05Speaker 1: don't have to discuss it with the woman. Yeah, complaining
- 1:35:10Speaker 1: about XS. I'm gonna say this next one for Tommy
- 1:35:19Speaker 1: because this is one he's um knows a little something about. Okay.
- 1:35:24Speaker 1: They don't like this. Women don't like when guys do this,
- 1:35:26Speaker 1: make fun of others, and they don't like it, especially
- 1:35:29Speaker 1: when you make fun of other guys. This is how
- 1:35:32Speaker 1: we eat that. Oh, and guys, by the way, women
- 1:35:40Speaker 1: do not like loud cars. They don't like loud trucks,
- 1:35:43Speaker 1: and they don't like motorcycles. I don't like women without
- 1:35:46Speaker 1: a cartycles. Yeah, they don't like loud cars, trucks, and motorcycles.
- 1:35:55Speaker 1: They don't like that. Like loud women. That's what I
- 1:35:58Speaker 1: don't like. Okay, And they don't like. Women don't like
- 1:36:01Speaker 1: like when you interrupt them. They don't like that. They
- 1:36:04Speaker 1: don't know what. They don't like it when you interrupt.
- 1:36:07Speaker 1: Women don't like, yeah, you heard me, I know what
- 1:36:10Speaker 1: you're doing. They don't like they don't like getting into
- 1:36:14Speaker 1: They don't like getting into fights. With other guys. They
- 1:36:17Speaker 1: don't like that when you guys, you know, when you're
- 1:36:22Speaker 1: when you guys get into fights, they don't like that.
- 1:36:24Speaker 1: They don't really don't like laziness or lack of ambition
- 1:36:28Speaker 1: and Jay, you might take offense to this, you might
- 1:36:31Speaker 1: take offense to this. They don't like it when you
- 1:36:34Speaker 1: wear a fedora. They don't like that. Okay, yeah, I
- 1:36:39Speaker 1: don't like. You're not gonna make it look. I got
- 1:36:44Speaker 1: too many hats to throw. You might not like. I
- 1:36:47Speaker 1: knew you wouldn't like that one. Here's the last thing.
- 1:36:52Speaker 1: They don't like, Tommy, and this one's especially for you.
- 1:36:55Speaker 1: They don't like requesting or sending nude picks. They don't
- 1:37:02Speaker 1: like it, Tommy, break that's a deal. That's a deal break.
- 1:37:07Speaker 1: That's not a deal break. You're gonna get it up
- 1:37:10Speaker 1: in my phone. You're gonna get that in my phone
- 1:37:13Speaker 1: at least two three times a week. We're gonna have
- 1:37:15Speaker 1: something to look at the get me through my You
- 1:37:18Speaker 1: ain't paying for a damn thing exactly, Les you gotta
- 1:37:22Speaker 1: tell to snap a picture. They don't like it. Guys.
- 1:37:29Speaker 1: Women don't like you know what I mean, and don't
- 1:37:36Speaker 1: make me ask. Just there you go. That's my man
- 1:37:41Speaker 1: right here. That's what I'm talking about. All back together?
- 1:37:44Speaker 1: You all back together? Now, boy, man, I shouldn't have
- 1:37:49Speaker 1: to ask for that. This should come. Well, you know,
- 1:37:52Speaker 1: Monday is the first day of the week. I got
- 1:37:54Speaker 1: to get the work. When I leave a house, it
- 1:37:57Speaker 1: ought to be just full of something. And here's the thing,
- 1:37:59Speaker 1: here's the thing. I would send you one back, but
- 1:38:02Speaker 1: I don't want to eat the ball your memory. That
- 1:38:07Speaker 1: makes sense, that makes sense, That doesn't make any sense.
- 1:38:18Speaker 1: So that's what we don't like. Guys. Okay, So if
- 1:38:22Speaker 1: y'all man, y'all husband requests the picture, yall that that's
- 1:38:26Speaker 1: just that's yeah. Hello, was quiet? Was so quiet? If

- 1:38:40Speaker 1: send a picture? What you've seen your husband? A picture? Naked? Yeah?
- 1:38:45Speaker 1: What else? You already? So you had to And again,

- 1:39:33Speaker 1: Don't you? Guys? You know what, Sometimes the relationship is
- 1:39:37Speaker 1: doing stuff you don't like. Even three times married, so
