- 0:25Speaker 1: the mother. Please I don't join joining me. You gotta
- 0:59Speaker 1: use that turn you're going to do. You are you
- 1:24Speaker 1: gotta turn to turn them out. Turn. You got to
- 1:44Speaker 1: turn them out to turn the water the water go. Come,
- 1:58Speaker 1: come on your baby, Uh huh, I shore will good
- 2:03Speaker 1: morning everybody you are listening to the voice, Come on
- 2:06Speaker 1: dig me now, one and only Steve Harvey got a
- 2:10Speaker 1: radio show you know today. I was thinking of what
- 2:14Speaker 1: I would say today, and it just dawned on me
- 2:17Speaker 1: this way, and I just want to share this with
- 2:18Speaker 1: everybody listening. You've got to get some help to make
- 2:22Speaker 1: it through life. I cannot imagine where I would be
- 2:26Speaker 1: if it was not for the help of my God,
- 2:30Speaker 1: if it wasn't for his grace and mercy, if I
- 2:33Speaker 1: did not have the ability to lean on him and
- 2:37Speaker 1: all the times I've had to lean on him, which
- 2:40Speaker 1: has become a daily basis. I have no idea where
- 2:43Speaker 1: I would be, but clearly I know for a matter
- 2:46Speaker 1: of fact, I would not be here today. You have
- 2:49Speaker 1: got to get some help to get through this theme
- 2:52Speaker 1: called life. I am begging you to look into it. Man,
- 2:56Speaker 1: you've got to form a relationship with God. Without a
- 2:59Speaker 1: relationship with God, this thing called life is daunting at times.
- 3:03Speaker 1: I don't care who you are. I know I'm speaking
- 3:06Speaker 1: the truth right now, because listen, no matter who you are,
- 3:10Speaker 1: what job tighter you have, what aspirations you may have,
- 3:14Speaker 1: I don't care what your educational background is or is not.
- 3:19Speaker 1: It does not matter if you don't get a real
- 3:22Speaker 1: relationship going on with God. I don't see how you
- 3:24Speaker 1: can make it. So many people are faking in fronting
- 3:27Speaker 1: out here like they got it going on, and you
- 3:30Speaker 1: don't know, And you really don't know how many people
- 3:33Speaker 1: that you think in your neighborhood had it going on
- 3:36Speaker 1: because you saw a car pull up in the driveway,
- 3:38Speaker 1: or the house look bigger, or grass is cutting nicer,
- 3:41Speaker 1: and you only find out that a foreclosed your side
- 3:45Speaker 1: on their house too. See, you don't know. The mask
- 3:48Speaker 1: that people put on to parade around in is for
- 3:51Speaker 1: appearing's sakes. So a lot of people you looking at
- 3:55Speaker 1: that you think got it going on. Who might be
- 3:57Speaker 1: the pattern of success that you want to trace. You
- 4:00Speaker 1: got to be real careful with that because it may
- 4:02Speaker 1: not be as it appears to be. But one thing
- 4:05Speaker 1: is for sure, no matter what's going on in your life,
- 4:09Speaker 1: I know that behind whatever mask I'm wearing, or I realized,
- 4:14Speaker 1: or no matter what the appearances may be, that on
- 4:18Speaker 1: the other side of me, I'm gonna be just fine. See.
- 4:22Speaker 1: You may be outwardly people hating on you, talking about you,
- 4:26Speaker 1: dragging your name through the mud. Look, man, people can
- 4:30Speaker 1: say stuff about you. Most people talking about you don't
- 4:32Speaker 1: even know you. They just participating in it. You can
- 4:36Speaker 1: have that appearance going on, but behind you, within you,
- 4:40Speaker 1: if you have a relationship with God, it don't matter
- 4:44Speaker 1: because you can be all right. I've seen it get
- 4:47Speaker 1: real stormy on the outside for me, but on the
- 4:49Speaker 1: inside I just had to feel and I was gonna
- 4:52Speaker 1: be all right. See. That's what the relationship gives you, man.
- 4:56Speaker 1: It gives you the confidence to note that the things
- 4:58Speaker 1: that you're going through are temporary, that it's just a
- 5:02Speaker 1: space that you happen to be in. Like I said
- 5:04Speaker 1: the other day, you got to remember something. The road
- 5:07Speaker 1: to success is always under construction. You might as well
- 5:11Speaker 1: get ready for that. If you're planning on changing, getting better,
- 5:16Speaker 1: doing something about your health. If you decide, hey, look,
- 5:19Speaker 1: I just would like to live a longer, more prosperous life,
- 5:22Speaker 1: or hey I want to make X amount of dollars,
- 5:25Speaker 1: or hey man, I'm gonna stop staying out in these
- 5:27Speaker 1: streets and I'm gonna come home and treat my family
- 5:29Speaker 1: where they ought to be treated. I don't care what
- 5:31Speaker 1: decision you make. When you strike out on that road
- 5:34Speaker 1: to success, it's under construction, partner. That's barrels out there,
- 5:39Speaker 1: there's wide turns, there's detools. You know. It's it's me
- 5:43Speaker 1: and out there holding sign saying slow down. Sometimes they
- 5:46Speaker 1: put the stop sign up. You gotta wait and watch
- 5:49Speaker 1: people go buy you on the other side. Then before
- 5:53Speaker 1: you can take off again. You've all been on the
- 5:55Speaker 1: road with construction on it. It can be so frustrated.
- 5:59Speaker 1: And the whole time you on that road. I know,
- 6:01Speaker 1: when I'm on the road we could under construction. I'm
- 6:04Speaker 1: always thinking of an alternative path. I ain't ever set
- 6:09Speaker 1: in traffic under construction, man, and thought of if I
- 6:13Speaker 1: get off on this exit, where would it take me?
- 6:16Speaker 1: Not knowing, but just man, could I keep moving if
- 6:19Speaker 1: I go that way. That's a dangerous thing sometimes, see,
- 6:22Speaker 1: because oftentimes when we get off the road to success
- 6:25Speaker 1: and we take that other path, we get further and
- 6:29Speaker 1: further off course because we're no detourl sign for that.
- 6:32Speaker 1: Just a decision I made on my own because I
- 6:34Speaker 1: don't like sitting here sometimes I don't have the patience
- 6:37Speaker 1: I ought to have, so I've taken some what I
- 6:39Speaker 1: thought might be shortcuts. But I gotta tell you something,
- 6:42Speaker 1: ain't no shortcuts on the road to success. Even the
- 6:45Speaker 1: detour signs wind up taking you a little bit out
- 6:48Speaker 1: your way. And look background. I remember one time I
- 6:51Speaker 1: was coming from Las Vegas and that was some type
- 6:54Speaker 1: of chemical spill in a truck and you could all
- 7:00Speaker 1: see the smoke up ahead and very faint. So they
- 7:04Speaker 1: detoured us through the desert and we had to go
- 7:07Speaker 1: all the way around, and I drove, man like an
- 7:09Speaker 1: hour and a half out of the way, and when
- 7:12Speaker 1: they entered us back on the freeway where we were
- 7:15Speaker 1: to go back to La as soon as I got
- 7:17Speaker 1: at that exit to get back on the freeway, I
- 7:20Speaker 1: looked right there and there the accident was. Now it
- 7:24Speaker 1: was an hour and a half hour forty five all
- 7:27Speaker 1: the way around in that desert to get back to
- 7:30Speaker 1: almost the same place. But it was the best way
- 7:34Speaker 1: to go because see, that was the route to take.
- 7:38Speaker 1: And that's what you got to understand about trying to
- 7:40Speaker 1: make the right decision to be successful, that the road
- 7:43Speaker 1: to success is always under construction. You're gonna have to
- 7:47Speaker 1: go round a little bit, so couse stop being in
- 7:49Speaker 1: patient with it. I don't want to go around. I'm
- 7:51Speaker 1: gonna go this way. You go that way if you
- 7:52Speaker 1: want to, just follow the detour signs. See, because somebody
- 7:56Speaker 1: that came up this road before you have. Somebody did
- 8:00Speaker 1: travel the road already and they took the way around,
- 8:03Speaker 1: and yeah, it seemed like it's a longer way, and
- 8:05Speaker 1: you want to make that other decision. But stay on
- 8:08Speaker 1: the road to success. It's under construction, man, That's just
- 8:11Speaker 1: the way it goes. Don't lose your patience and try
- 8:14Speaker 1: to create a shortcut for yourself. I'm gonna go away.
- 8:17Speaker 1: Ain't nobody ever gone way? Hold a partner, you really
- 8:20Speaker 1: thank you for going to do that. Listen. There's oftentimes
- 8:22Speaker 1: a lot of rewards when you go the least travel path,
- 8:27Speaker 1: but the road to success is the least travel path.
- 8:30Speaker 1: That's what you keep getting mixed up. You keep thinking
- 8:33Speaker 1: if you go another way. Now, No, stay on the
- 8:35Speaker 1: road to success. That is the least travel path. It's
- 8:39Speaker 1: under construction. You can go out there with with your
- 8:42Speaker 1: machete if you want to talk about cutting new trails.
- 8:45Speaker 1: You think the road to success is under construction, take
- 8:49Speaker 1: the other route and get that machette out and see
- 8:52Speaker 1: how long you be out there trying to cut a path. Sometimes, Man,
- 8:56Speaker 1: you just got to stay patient. The road to success
- 8:59Speaker 1: has been traveled before by millions of people in front
- 9:02Speaker 1: of you, everybody that has some setbacks in life. But
- 9:05Speaker 1: don't get off the road to success just because you're
- 9:07Speaker 1: having some setbacks, just because you see some orange barrels up,
- 9:11Speaker 1: just because there's some men out there with vest on.
- 9:13Speaker 1: What they got to do with you? Everybody, everybody that's
- 9:17Speaker 1: trying to be successful, is on that road. Your relationship
- 9:21Speaker 1: with God helps you guide yourself around the barrels. It
- 9:26Speaker 1: helps you have the patience to go around that Away.
- 9:29Speaker 1: He gonna get you back where you gotta be. But
- 9:32Speaker 1: you got to go out there so you can learn something. See,
- 9:35Speaker 1: you need God to make it in life, because the
- 9:39Speaker 1: road to success is always under construction. He calms you down.
- 9:44Speaker 1: When the barrels is up, He lets you know it's
- 9:47Speaker 1: gonna be all right. He rewards you with the patience
- 9:49Speaker 1: to finish because he gonna get you right back where
- 9:52Speaker 1: you need to be and you can get on which
- 9:54Speaker 1: where you was going. Okay, all right, yall, we're gonna
- 9:57Speaker 1: try that today. You're listening Harvey Morning Show. Ladies and gentlemen,
- 10:04Speaker 1: it us upon us. The time is now. The Steve

- 19:12Speaker 1: But I'm glad to know you fight for me like
- 19:13Speaker 1: that fight. It was gonna be some fights, it wasn't,
- 19:19Speaker 1: oh girl, just hey, bring your black home. Don't even
- 19:26Speaker 1: stop at rend like I think I crushed Hey, Tommy, Tommy,
- 19:31Speaker 1: I really thought that was lowdown. Yeah. I thought, yeah, man,
- 19:35Speaker 1: that that was one of the most low down pranks
- 19:37Speaker 1: you've ever done, because you took that boy way too far. Yeah.
- 19:41Speaker 1: I came out of that looking for you. Yeah, you
- 19:45Speaker 1: laughed it off, and and and he glad o what Steve? Yeah,
- 19:51Speaker 1: I think you put we put laugh at off. You're
- 19:54Speaker 1: about to take my woman from me, and I really
- 19:57Speaker 1: think she gone? And now you have you are emotions.
- 20:05Speaker 1: I got that airplane sound in the background too. Boy,
- 20:09Speaker 1: I got you. Yeah, crushing crush him, crush him? All right?
- 20:17Speaker 1: You know you get right to the line. I mean,
- 20:18Speaker 1: you've done that before. Comedy, un you get right up
- 20:20Speaker 1: there to the line. The comedy that one you didn't.
- 20:24Speaker 1: You didn't I wouldn't deal with nobody's real life. Comedy
- 20:28Speaker 1: and pranks is two different things. Comedy is fun. Pranks
- 20:31Speaker 1: is dangerous. It's gonna how you bore us over with
- 20:34Speaker 1: but you care about his heart and how he's his
- 20:37Speaker 1: how he feels his emotion. You care about that you
- 20:39Speaker 1: don't even know him. Well, well, that is true, and
- 20:48Speaker 1: sorry I'm pulling on his heart strings. I'm sorry I
- 20:52Speaker 1: didn't know. Go ahead, Shirlett, all right. Coming up next,
- 20:56Speaker 1: it is asked the CLO with Chief Love Officer Steve
- 20:59Speaker 1: Harvey and the building ready for your love questions. Right
- 21:02Speaker 1: after this, you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 21:06Speaker 1: At the top of the hour. In entertainment news, Mike
- 21:09Speaker 1: Tyson has opened up about his triggers and why he
- 21:13Speaker 1: shouldn't fly commercial. Also Dave Chappelle's attacker he has a
- 21:18Speaker 1: reason for it. Dave Chappelle's attacker said Chappelle's jokes triggered
- 21:22Speaker 1: him to jump up on stage, but he didn't intend
- 21:25Speaker 1: to harm Dave. We'll get into that at the top
- 21:28Speaker 1: of the hour, but right now it is time to
- 21:31Speaker 1: what ask the CLO Chief Love Officer Steve Harvey. Cindy
- 21:36Speaker 1: and Brooklyn says, my husband and I have three sons
- 21:39Speaker 1: and the oldest is nineteen and his girlfriend is allowed
- 21:43Speaker 1: to sleep over at our house in his room. It's
- 21:47Speaker 1: his father's rules and I told him it sets a
- 21:49Speaker 1: bad example for the younger boys. He disagrees. How can
- 21:53Speaker 1: he be okay with this? It does set a bad example.
- 21:57Speaker 1: I don't think he's smart at all because you know, look, dad, oh,
- 22:02Speaker 1: we all know what our sons are doing. But it's suspect.
- 22:06Speaker 1: You gotta have boundaries for a respect level. You can't
- 22:09Speaker 1: come in here, in your mama's house with this girl
- 22:15Speaker 1: in front of these kids. You know, man, you can't
- 22:18Speaker 1: do that. I'm not. I don't allow that. No, we
- 22:21Speaker 1: and we couldn't for sure do it. No, no, what
- 22:28Speaker 1: it wasn't heard of that. It just doesn't make any
- 22:31Speaker 1: sense to allow it, right, right, And what's the benefit
- 22:36Speaker 1: of allowing it? Just show me, show me the upside
- 22:39Speaker 1: to allow it, because all it is this downside. Now
- 22:42Speaker 1: when that little girl come up pregnant. Yeah, and that's
- 22:48Speaker 1: over there, because man, you you can't. You gotta teach
- 22:51Speaker 1: your son's respect and restraint. If you don't teach your
- 22:55Speaker 1: son's respect and restraint. You know, I've I've tried talking
- 23:01Speaker 1: to my sons about this over and over. Do not
- 23:04Speaker 1: go somewhere and get a young girl pregnant then you
- 23:07Speaker 1: skip off? You know, you're still loving all like that,
- 23:10Speaker 1: But now she she got a baby to deal with.
- 23:13Speaker 1: You get to going off to college, You get to
- 23:15Speaker 1: going off and pursue your dream, your life, and this
- 23:17Speaker 1: little girl is stuck holding this bag man, and that
- 23:20Speaker 1: ain't right. That ain't I'm not gonna allow you to
- 23:23Speaker 1: skip off. You're gonna your responsibility. Bro, bro, bro, you
- 23:28Speaker 1: fel to get yourself a job and take care of
- 23:30Speaker 1: your business. Now, you know, since you want to do
- 23:32Speaker 1: grown folks stuff, you're not feel to go to college
- 23:35Speaker 1: and continue your life and lead this girl over here
- 23:37Speaker 1: dealing with how she gonna get to school and all
- 23:39Speaker 1: of that. It ain't right. And I think we got
- 23:41Speaker 1: to teach our sons that, and I think condoning this
- 23:45Speaker 1: behavior is not the right way. You have to teach
- 23:48Speaker 1: your sons and make them respect women. And this girl nineteen,
- 23:53Speaker 1: you're in a room with her in front of your
- 23:55Speaker 1: sons and your wife. Man, get out of him. Yeah,
- 23:58Speaker 1: do you remember when it was? It was it was
- 24:00Speaker 1: an act of congress. If you was you know, boyfriend
- 24:03Speaker 1: girlfriend in college and you went home with the girl
- 24:06Speaker 1: or you went home with the guy you like, they
- 24:09Speaker 1: made you Okay, you're gonna sleep in this room. Yeah, yeah,
- 24:12Speaker 1: and I've been not here the same room. Unheard of,
- 24:18Speaker 1: It's just unheard of. Yes, all right? Moving on to
- 24:22Speaker 1: uh Tony and Kalamazoo, Tony says, I'm a forty one
- 24:26Speaker 1: year old divorced woman and I still have amazing sex
- 24:29Speaker 1: with my ex husband. We do what we do and
- 24:32Speaker 1: then go our separate ways. He's confusing matters now by
- 24:36Speaker 1: trying to see me outside of the bedroom. He's a
- 24:39Speaker 1: cheater and I'll never take him back. How do I
- 24:43Speaker 1: tell him that without sabotaging things you didn't already took
- 24:46Speaker 1: him back? Look, do you understand he playing the game?
- 24:51Speaker 1: He getting the cake and eating it too. He got
- 24:55Speaker 1: the milk and ain't got to buy the cow. Are
- 24:57Speaker 1: you kidding me? Wait a minute. You think he's trying
- 25:01Speaker 1: to see you outside of that to get back with you. No,
- 25:06Speaker 1: he's doing that to make you think he really do,
- 25:08Speaker 1: honestly and genuinely care. The game is on. I can
- 25:12Speaker 1: divorce you but still sleep with you. Are you kidding me?
- 25:16Speaker 1: How do I keep him the boundary straight? He got
- 25:20Speaker 1: it just like he liked. You're the stupid one for
- 25:22Speaker 1: thinking it's fitting to be more, because it damned show.
- 25:25Speaker 1: Ain't I bet you that. I bet he ain't asked
- 25:27Speaker 1: you to remarry it. Lady, you confused, but you don't
- 25:34Speaker 1: understand the male psyche. Let me help you. Can we
- 25:44Speaker 1: go somewhere and have dinner? All I want him? For
- 25:47Speaker 1: a second? He playing the game now, all right? Moving
- 25:52Speaker 1: on to Calista and DC. Calista, right, thing? And he
- 25:58Speaker 1: doing that to make sure you don't pass it out
- 26:00Speaker 1: to nobody else. See what I'm saying. So if you
- 26:04Speaker 1: tie you up in the Dayton situation, he gets to
- 26:07Speaker 1: keep it because he's somewhere here. Cheatah, he's still cheat,
- 26:10Speaker 1: but you's the same slice of ham he'd beeny kalamazoo.
- 26:19Speaker 1: Let me drop a knowledge. All right, Callista and DC says,
- 26:23Speaker 1: I've been married for eight years and every night my
- 26:25Speaker 1: husband texts someone before bedtime and in the morning, before
- 26:29Speaker 1: he gets out of bed. If I ask who he's texting,
- 26:33Speaker 1: he says, it's work related. Should I ask him to
- 26:35Speaker 1: leave this phone in the den overnight? Obviously? No? What
- 26:40Speaker 1: work related? Do you have to text? So you go
- 26:42Speaker 1: to bed to night soon as you get up? What job?
- 26:44Speaker 1: Get up? Let's let's all we adults. It's six of
- 26:48Speaker 1: us here. Let's all discuss what job you have to
- 26:53Speaker 1: text your co worker all boss for you go to
- 26:56Speaker 1: bed as soon as you wake up, other than this one,
- 26:59Speaker 1: right one? Yeah, other than this one? But me, I
- 27:04Speaker 1: don't I don't respond, so go ahead and Monica need
- 27:10Speaker 1: to stop doing it any damn way, because you're wasting
- 27:12Speaker 1: your time texting me. I don't wake up to text.
- 27:18Speaker 1: I can't wake up. And then right before you go
- 27:20Speaker 1: to be in your texta some No, this is just
- 27:22Speaker 1: wrong and why why is she scared to ask him?
- 27:26Speaker 1: Should I ask him to leave his phone in the
- 27:28Speaker 1: den overnight then he gonna get up going there and text, Yeah,
- 27:33Speaker 1: it's not the location of the pea. Yeah, good point,
- 27:40Speaker 1: carl the location Christa? What you need to do cost?
- 27:46Speaker 1: What is Colista? We need to fix that first before
- 27:50Speaker 1: we fix Colista. Car lista, car lista you're talking about
- 27:56Speaker 1: like the mouthwash? What the mouth okay me stuff you
- 28:06Speaker 1: spray in the back of your throat. Oh Clara Cloria
- 28:11Speaker 1: so called clariat that you got that her name? Anyway,
- 28:25Speaker 1: I'll see you with some throat spray. Say her name again, Calista? Calista? Nah,
- 28:34Speaker 1: we're looking like that that you nailed it. I can
- 28:39Speaker 1: see myself down into drugs, still asking for that. Excuse me, pharmacists,
- 28:46Speaker 1: how y'all doing that? Can't you tell me where the
- 28:47Speaker 1: cold list is located? And then I bet that point
- 28:50Speaker 1: two hour because it sounds like medicine. It do sound
- 28:53Speaker 1: like medicine. Excuse me? Can you tell me where they
- 28:56Speaker 1: keep your cold list? Over there right next to the
- 28:59Speaker 1: cold gate, sir and the mister Green. Yeah, I bet
- 29:04Speaker 1: I'll bring you in a mouthwash section. I'm telling you
- 29:07Speaker 1: a mouthwash section for that. Are you going to help
- 29:10Speaker 1: this woman or not? What's what's wrong with them? Other
- 29:15Speaker 1: than her name? The texting? Don't worry you gotta go
- 29:22Speaker 1: try coming up at the top of the hour, we'll
- 29:26Speaker 1: have some entertainment news where you're right after this, you're
- 29:29Speaker 1: listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. Shout out to all
- 29:35Speaker 1: the twenty twenty two graduates. Krispy Kreme. Get this, guys.
- 29:39Speaker 1: Krispy Kreme is offering a free dozen donuts to graduating
- 29:43Speaker 1: high school and college seniors all day today. All you
- 29:47Speaker 1: have to do is show up at krispy Kreme in
- 29:49Speaker 1: your class of twenty twenty two cap and gowns to
- 29:52Speaker 1: get your free donuts today. So congratulations, class of twenty twenty.
- 30:00Speaker 1: Get baring. It ain't even gonna down there with church
- 30:03Speaker 1: robes on all. Still gonna have a church robe and
- 30:10Speaker 1: a piece of Kentic cloth. They're just trying to get
- 30:13Speaker 1: some damn doughnuts? Are they hot? A sign they should
- 30:18Speaker 1: have made him bring the diploma? Congratulations? Yes, congratulations? All right,
- 30:25Speaker 1: Moving on to Mike Tyson. Mike Tyson opened up about
- 30:28Speaker 1: what happened last month when he punched an annoying passenger
- 30:31Speaker 1: on a Jet Blue flight. Mike appeared on the a
- 30:34Speaker 1: Hot Boxing podcast and said he was triggered when a
- 30:38Speaker 1: passenger threw a water bottle at him. He said he
- 30:41Speaker 1: was effing with me. I took pictures with this in
- 30:44Speaker 1: and I shouldn't even be taking public planes. My wife
- 30:48Speaker 1: gets mad when I take public planes. Tyson said these situations, Uh,
- 30:53Speaker 1: situations like that trigger him, and he recalled that a
- 30:55Speaker 1: fan threw something at him during a nineteen ninety seven
- 30:58Speaker 1: fight against Evander holy Field. Remember that one, and it
- 31:01Speaker 1: set him off. Tyson also admitted that assaulting a fan
- 31:05Speaker 1: is a lose lose situation. Well, he's right on all regards,
- 31:11Speaker 1: but now I think it's in a clear and concise
- 31:16Speaker 1: message to everybody else as see Mike Oh, the flight
- 31:20Speaker 1: on the Oh, he's cleared up any confusion about how
- 31:24Speaker 1: to handle him, don't throw anything at him, and may
- 31:27Speaker 1: have done stuff for some people like for example, I
- 31:30Speaker 1: give you another example, Dave Chappelle has slowed down this
- 31:34Speaker 1: damn running up on the stage. A story about that too.
- 31:39Speaker 1: Oh okay, well let me be quiet. Did my bad? Yeah?
- 31:42Speaker 1: But anyway, speaking of triggering Dave Chappelle's attack or, twenty
- 31:46Speaker 1: three year old Isaiah Lee has pled not guilty to
- 31:50Speaker 1: all four misdemeanor charges and revealed his motive behind the attacks.
- 31:55Speaker 1: He said, I identify as bisexual, and I wanted him,
- 31:58Speaker 1: meaning Chappelle, to know what he said was triggering. I
- 32:02Speaker 1: wanted him to know that the next time he should
- 32:05Speaker 1: consider first running his material by people that it could affect.
- 32:10Speaker 1: Lee admitted that he was triggered by Chappelle's jokes about
- 32:13Speaker 1: the LGBTQ community and homelessness during the show, and his
- 32:18Speaker 1: breaking point that night was Chappelle's joke about pedophilia, which
- 32:22Speaker 1: triggered memories of him being molested as a teenager. He
- 32:25Speaker 1: insisted that he had no intentions of hurting Chappelle when
- 32:29Speaker 1: he ran on stage. What man, hey, man, I don't
- 32:37Speaker 1: give a damn about nothing, he said. Dave Chappelle is
- 32:42Speaker 1: not a therapist. He's a comedian. Now, if you're coming
- 32:46Speaker 1: in there with issues and stuff you need help with,
- 32:49Speaker 1: didn't seek out the proper help. You can't attack a
- 32:52Speaker 1: man on stage because you got a damn issue. What
- 32:55Speaker 1: are these jokes ever gonna get to be about? If
- 32:58Speaker 1: we if we can't do the jokes. The jokes are
- 33:01Speaker 1: about people, folks, and about all kinds of people. But
- 33:05Speaker 1: see what somebody doing a joke about an end I
- 33:09Speaker 1: don't hit no complaints when you do your little end
- 33:13Speaker 1: word jokes anybody black or white. So I'm sorry, man,
- 33:18Speaker 1: It's been this way since the beginning of the time.
- 33:20Speaker 1: They're jokes. Deal with it. Well, what are you at
- 33:24Speaker 1: a show for if you can't, I mean, you don't
- 33:27Speaker 1: want to laugh at I don't even get why he
- 33:29Speaker 1: was there? Then? What did you go see? Dave Chappelle? Yeah,
- 33:32Speaker 1: we'll have got to have seen these last two specials.
- 33:36Speaker 1: When did you become a Dave Chappelle fran that's yeah, yeah,
- 33:43Speaker 1: he triggered. You said you didn't mean that you weren't
- 33:47Speaker 1: gonna hurt him, but you got a plastic gun with
- 33:48Speaker 1: a knife on the tape to it. Yeah yeah, that part. Yeah, well,
- 33:54Speaker 1: well they didn't see it. Damn show hurt you? Yeah,
- 33:59Speaker 1: I mean, but but seriously, you guys are comedians. Do
- 34:02Speaker 1: you ever think about that? Do you think about censoring
- 34:05Speaker 1: yourself when you tell jokes? I mean, because the state,
- 34:13Speaker 1: all of us have to have some type of guidelines.
- 34:19Speaker 1: As we on stage, the best jokes are ninety percent truth.
- 34:25Speaker 1: That's the best joke. And if you could tell a
- 34:27Speaker 1: joke that's one hundred truth, oh my god, you falling
- 34:32Speaker 1: into golden triangle. It's like the most miraculous thing, because
- 34:36Speaker 1: can't nobody are of the facts right right? But now
- 34:39Speaker 1: if you are offended by the facts, now we have
- 34:43Speaker 1: another problem. These jokes have to be about somebody. You
- 34:50Speaker 1: know how many jokes I have written about being black?
- 34:53Speaker 1: I ain't had one damn complaint all day. And that's
- 34:58Speaker 1: how many years did you do? Boy made a career
- 35:01Speaker 1: on it. And when I do these jobs about white folks,
- 35:07Speaker 1: here they come. But are people hypersensitive? Right now? I
- 35:12Speaker 1: mean over you can't. Yeah, they call the council culture
- 35:17Speaker 1: and everybody's feelings is hurt, and everybody wants you to
- 35:20Speaker 1: pay with your career, with your income if you say something.
- 35:24Speaker 1: That's the sad part about it. And that's what I
- 35:27Speaker 1: don't agree. I'll give you an example. When don Imus
- 35:31Speaker 1: was living, he passed, now right then don I passed,
- 35:35Speaker 1: and he made the comment about the Rutgers of basketball
- 35:39Speaker 1: girls too, and then he lost his job for a
- 35:43Speaker 1: while for that, and then they gave his job back. Okay,
- 35:46Speaker 1: I understood that, you know. But man, if you let
- 35:50Speaker 1: Fox get on TV and make all the comments they
- 35:54Speaker 1: make and they ain't even in joke form, huh, all right,
- 36:00Speaker 1: and now to say whatever they want to say, ain't
- 36:03Speaker 1: nothing happening to the I don't understand freedom of speech.
- 36:08Speaker 1: There you go, coming up at twenty minutes after the hour,
- 36:11Speaker 1: Tommy has a question for you, Steve Whole, Steve, right
- 36:15Speaker 1: after this, you're listening to show some very sad, painfully
- 36:22Speaker 1: tragic news out of your valley, Texas. Yesterday, an eighteen
- 36:25Speaker 1: year old young man, Salvador Rolando Ramos opened fire at
- 36:32Speaker 1: rob elementary school in your valley, Texas, killing twenty one people.
- 36:37Speaker 1: Now of the people that were fatally shot Nineteen of
- 36:40Speaker 1: those were school children, second third, fourth graders, and two
- 36:45Speaker 1: were adults. Several other children were wounded. Ramos crashed a
- 36:50Speaker 1: black suv outside of the school, entered the school wearing
- 36:53Speaker 1: body armor and all black clothing, and he was carrying
- 36:57Speaker 1: a handgun and an AAR fifteen style rifle and high
- 37:01Speaker 1: capacity magazines. As he entered the school, he shot a
- 37:05Speaker 1: Uvaldi Independent School District police officer who attempted to stop him.
- 37:10Speaker 1: It's estimated that the shooting began two minutes later as
- 37:14Speaker 1: Ramos went from classroom to classroom, firing the assault weapon
- 37:19Speaker 1: into the classrooms. After he exchanged gunfire with policemen, Ramos
- 37:23Speaker 1: was allegedly killed by law enforcement. And Ramos had shot
- 37:27Speaker 1: his grandmother earlier before he went to the school, and
- 37:32Speaker 1: she was transported to a hospital in San Antonio. I mean, wow, Yeah,
- 37:40Speaker 1: that was a lot to take in sickness of all
- 37:44Speaker 1: of this is I've been watching carefully Fox News. You know,
- 37:55Speaker 1: first of all, these were a lot of brown children
- 38:01Speaker 1: that lost their lives. Was all black. So when it's
- 38:11Speaker 1: all black and brown, um, we start using mental illness
- 38:18Speaker 1: instead of it being domestic terrorism caused by the right
- 38:24Speaker 1: to buy a weapon, body armor and make a decision
- 38:29Speaker 1: to walk into a place filled with innocent people and
- 38:34Speaker 1: murder them eighteen years old. Don't give a damn what
- 38:40Speaker 1: color the people are. The I can't even find the
- 38:46Speaker 1: word man, the absurdity, the appall should all be there
- 38:53Speaker 1: on the same level, no matter who it is. But
- 38:58Speaker 1: it ain't. But it ain't. And they're not gonna do
- 39:01Speaker 1: nothing again because it ain't one of them, period. And
- 39:08Speaker 1: I don't mean just black or brown. I'm talking about
- 39:12Speaker 1: it ain't happening to none of them, Senators, family members,
- 39:16Speaker 1: but you will be affected differently when it happens to you.
- 39:20Speaker 1: This is a damn shame that this country is set
- 39:24Speaker 1: up where this can even occur. There's some countries where
- 39:27Speaker 1: this can't even pop off at all. Right, we'll be
- 39:29Speaker 1: back with more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show right
- 39:32Speaker 1: after this. You're listening to show, all right. Before we
- 39:38Speaker 1: went to break, Steve, we were talking about the tragedy
- 39:41Speaker 1: that happened in New Valde, Texas, where this eighteen year
- 39:45Speaker 1: old open fire at an elementary school, killing second, third
- 39:50Speaker 1: and fourth graders, also two adults, so twenty one people
- 39:54Speaker 1: altogether were gunned down at school. Ungu Street. How do
- 39:59Speaker 1: we push the Senate to make these kind of changes.
- 40:02Speaker 1: We have to vote them out. See, here's our problem.
- 40:07Speaker 1: We have people in place who are resigned to the
- 40:11Speaker 1: Second Amendment at all costs. And they are resigned to
- 40:15Speaker 1: the Second Amendment because the NRA is the largest contributor
- 40:20Speaker 1: to the Conservative Republican Party than any other dollar amount,
- 40:24Speaker 1: bigger than any super pact, better than any bigger than
- 40:27Speaker 1: the Koch Brothers, and all that the NRA a donates
- 40:31Speaker 1: more money to the Republican Party. Look at these foods
- 40:35Speaker 1: right here. Abbot, Ted Crews, and Donald Trump will be
- 40:39Speaker 1: speaking this week at the NIA convention after this. Look man,
- 40:46Speaker 1: look man, And they not gonna cancel. They not gonna cancel.
- 40:50Speaker 1: They're gonna go up there and they're gonna show up,
- 40:53Speaker 1: and they're gonna stand up for the NRA because the
- 40:56Speaker 1: NRA pays Donald Trump, pays Ted crew pays Governor Abbott.
- 41:02Speaker 1: But we keep voting their ass in our stupid ass country,
- 41:08Speaker 1: backwoods thinking ass. Seventy million Americans that vote your party line,
- 41:16Speaker 1: no matter what the results cost our consequences. That's the
- 41:21Speaker 1: damn problem right there. So now you got senators that
- 41:25Speaker 1: no matter what no matter what, to hold their power
- 41:31Speaker 1: and position. It's gonna do what the NIA tell them
- 41:33Speaker 1: to do, because if they don't, the NIA put their
- 41:35Speaker 1: money behind the next candidate and they move you out.
- 41:38Speaker 1: Because money directs the campaigns. It allows you to have
- 41:42Speaker 1: more commercials, have more visibility, have a bigger campaign office,
- 41:48Speaker 1: have more troops on the ground. This is how they
- 41:51Speaker 1: remain in power until the guts of this country changes
- 41:57Speaker 1: and to the morality of this changes, which ain't gonna
- 42:02Speaker 1: happen because our country is our country. Our United States
- 42:10Speaker 1: is immoral on a lot of levels. You heard that
- 42:14Speaker 1: minister the other day who got a church of tax
- 42:20Speaker 1: exempt taken because his rant was you can't call yourself
- 42:27Speaker 1: a Christian and you cannot go to heaven if you're
- 42:31Speaker 1: not a Republican conservative. What yes, yeah, what excuse me?
- 42:39Speaker 1: That's coming from a poor pit. So they rescinded his
- 42:44Speaker 1: tax exemple because he's mixing politics with church. It's happening
- 42:49Speaker 1: in all their churches. This dude just got caught on tape.
- 42:55Speaker 1: It's what they preach because listen to me, they were
- 42:59Speaker 1: hypocritically put in your face. If you are against pro life,
- 43:05Speaker 1: you are committing the Cardinal sin the UK be a
- 43:08Speaker 1: Christian that the Republican Party holds them to. This stuff, man,
- 43:13Speaker 1: this stuff that they all participated Republicans kid abortions, Republicans
- 43:21Speaker 1: are gay. Republicans higher illegal immigrants. Republicans are behind all construction,
- 43:31Speaker 1: all food plants, farming, all restaurants. How you think we
- 43:36Speaker 1: stay alive because we use illegal immigrants. They are a
- 43:41Speaker 1: part of the American fiber. It's the same thing they
- 43:45Speaker 1: did with slaves, while we put the same new they
- 43:49Speaker 1: used our forefathers to build this country free. They've got
- 43:55Speaker 1: no problem doing this. Man, This is where we live.
- 43:58Speaker 1: This is our miracle. This is what we have to
- 44:02Speaker 1: grapple with. And then we have a day like the
- 44:04Speaker 1: other day, and we still won't do oh goddamn thing
- 44:12Speaker 1: about it. Nothing. We're gonna sit here and let this
- 44:16Speaker 1: keep happening over and over again so these senators can
- 44:20Speaker 1: remain in power and position. Man, miss me, all right, Steve,
- 44:24Speaker 1: We'll be back with more of the Steve Harvey Morning
- 44:27Speaker 1: Show right after this. You're listening to show coming up
- 44:33Speaker 1: at about four minutes after the hour. It's my strawberry
- 44:36Speaker 1: letter for today, and the subject is the kitchen and
- 44:40Speaker 1: the bedroom, all right, the kitchen in the bedroom. We'll
- 44:44Speaker 1: get into that in just a business. Right now, it
- 44:47Speaker 1: is time for the nephew and the frank phone call.
- 44:49Speaker 1: What you got for its now? This one? Here is
- 44:56Speaker 1: this one? Here is check settlement check settlement. Well, when
- 45:03Speaker 1: black folk waiting on a check a settlement check, they
- 45:07Speaker 1: something else, got dog? If you hood check settlement? Thank you? Hello, right,
- 45:15Speaker 1: I'm trying to reach out please. How you doing? It's
- 45:18Speaker 1: attorney over the associates. All right, I want to give
- 45:22Speaker 1: you a call. I just got your file that hit
- 45:24Speaker 1: my desk and we got a check going out to
- 45:26Speaker 1: you on Monday. You came in yesterday, correct, Yes, okay, listen,
- 45:30Speaker 1: we got a few low glitches here. We want to
- 45:34Speaker 1: go over with I want to go over with you
- 45:35Speaker 1: and make sure we get this all ironed out before
- 45:38Speaker 1: you come in on Monday. And I'll have a check
- 45:40Speaker 1: definitely waiting on you when you get here. All right,
- 45:43Speaker 1: you're supposed to be getting six thousand, four hundred and
- 45:46Speaker 1: ten dollars, unfortunately as being reduced to twelve hundred due
- 45:50Speaker 1: to injuries not being as as bad as they say.
- 45:54Speaker 1: It was, a lot of calculations got really mixed up
- 45:57Speaker 1: on our paperwork here, and please keep in mind that
- 45:59Speaker 1: on the twelve hundred, we still haven't taken out our fee,
- 46:01Speaker 1: which is like about thirty three and a third. We'll
- 46:04Speaker 1: have a check for you on Monday in the ballpark
- 46:06Speaker 1: of four to five hundred dollars. Hold hold up, okay,
- 46:10Speaker 1: I'm still getting it. So what was the total month
- 46:13Speaker 1: that y'all got from the law from them? Should? Evidently
- 46:17Speaker 1: the person that did these calculations completely did them wrong.
- 46:20Speaker 1: And I do apologize for this being a mishap on
- 46:24Speaker 1: our part and it's totally screwed up, and I do
- 46:26Speaker 1: apologize on the behalf of the of the association here
- 46:30Speaker 1: that we've dropped the ball on that. But your actual
- 46:33Speaker 1: check has been reduced to twelve hundred dollars, okay, and
- 46:37Speaker 1: that's without us taking the law fees out of it.
- 46:39Speaker 1: So I guess it's feel right, because how was six
- 46:43Speaker 1: thousand dollars cover the doctor field and the Chyle practice? Well,
- 46:48Speaker 1: from my understanding, man, what they're also stating is that
- 46:50Speaker 1: your injuries are not that bad, and I don't want
- 46:53Speaker 1: to be the bearer of bad news. They're actually wondering
- 46:56Speaker 1: if you were actually hurt at all. So let's actually
- 46:59Speaker 1: because I even had to get injections, okay from the chiropractice. Okay,
- 47:03Speaker 1: And and do you have any I have some medical
- 47:05Speaker 1: documents here, and I understand that you've been going and
- 47:08Speaker 1: you probably look like you went over at least at
- 47:10Speaker 1: least two months going to the doctor and getting and
- 47:13Speaker 1: getting therapy. And that was his call, that the chiropractice
- 47:17Speaker 1: car that wasn't my decision. Okay. Well, a lot of
- 47:20Speaker 1: this call from out from my injury exactly, and a
- 47:23Speaker 1: lot a lot of these doctor fees and that you've
- 47:26Speaker 1: gone to as eating up eating up a lot of
- 47:28Speaker 1: these funds. And I tell you, these doctor bills they
- 47:30Speaker 1: get pretty high out there. I do want to apologize.
- 47:33Speaker 1: What we're gonna do here, since we've dropped the ball
- 47:35Speaker 1: on this. We're gonna give you the check for twelve
- 47:38Speaker 1: hundred and not even take the law fees out of it.
- 47:40Speaker 1: And I'll have that check waiting on you on Monday morning.
- 47:43Speaker 1: That's still okay. I understand what you're saying. What I'm
- 47:46Speaker 1: trying to figure out is from the I need to
- 47:50Speaker 1: see some paperwork of saying stating what was the total
- 47:54Speaker 1: out check that was written from the insurance company, plus
- 47:58Speaker 1: what was a portion of it was supposed to be
- 47:59Speaker 1: taking out for the chiropractor supus Jo's supposed to be
- 48:02Speaker 1: taking out from the doctor's itself. From my mouth that
- 48:05Speaker 1: you're telling me six thousand that Smart wouldn't have covered
- 48:08Speaker 1: that and leave me with only twelve hundred. Okay, I'm
- 48:11Speaker 1: not at liberty to let you look at this paperwork anymore.
- 48:15Speaker 1: I'm calling you basically to let you know I have
- 48:17Speaker 1: twelve hundred dollars check for you. If you don't want that,
- 48:20Speaker 1: then you can go ahead and take some other leg out.
- 48:23Speaker 1: I mean that doesn't sound of right, Rob, but I
- 48:25Speaker 1: mean from the entire month, because I got the paperwork
- 48:29Speaker 1: from the chiropractor stating where Mount was paid. I understand that. Man.
- 48:33Speaker 1: I'm what I'm trying to let you know any issues there.
- 48:35Speaker 1: What's going on right now is the response coming back
- 48:38Speaker 1: is that you're not actually hurt at all. That's what
- 48:41Speaker 1: they're saying. They're saying you're not hate at all. Actually,
- 48:44Speaker 1: I don't want to use the words, but they're saying
- 48:45Speaker 1: that you've been faking this the whole time. I need
- 48:48Speaker 1: to see some paperwork for five times to check it.
- 48:50Speaker 1: This doesn't sound right and that doesn't mean any sense. Well,
- 48:54Speaker 1: right now, you know, I'm the last person that that
- 48:56Speaker 1: this file is going to come across. It's coming across
- 48:58Speaker 1: my desk. This is pretty much a take it or
- 49:00Speaker 1: leave it option, you know. And if you don't no, no, no, no,
- 49:05Speaker 1: I mean you don't get an add to me because
- 49:06Speaker 1: you are my lawyer and now I'm you're a client. Well,
- 49:09Speaker 1: you're not gonna raise your voice. You're not gonna raise
- 49:11Speaker 1: your voice. Set me. That's not gonna happen either. So
- 49:14Speaker 1: let's let's pipe it down a bit. Okay, Now here's
- 49:18Speaker 1: what we're gonna do. Do you want the twelve hundred
- 49:21Speaker 1: dollars check or do you not want it? Now? I've
- 49:23Speaker 1: already wavered the fees of the of the attorneys here.
- 49:26Speaker 1: Do you want the twelve hundred or do you want
- 49:28Speaker 1: me to reduce it to four hundred? No, I don't
- 49:30Speaker 1: want twelve hundred because I'm gonna take you to court
- 49:32Speaker 1: because that isn't shut off your he's supposed to be
- 49:35Speaker 1: my lawyer. I'm being the best attorney that you probably
- 49:38Speaker 1: could afford, young lady. Okay, and I'm trying to do
- 49:40Speaker 1: the best I can to help you. Now, you if
- 49:43Speaker 1: if from what I understand is h I'm sorry, that's
- 49:46Speaker 1: not going to be acceptable. I just have to get
- 49:48Speaker 1: to get a lawyer to see you. That's not acceptable.
- 49:51Speaker 1: You know, you know you people continue to want to
- 49:53Speaker 1: take me the offer. Yet today when we came in
- 49:56Speaker 1: all it got me. I didn't. I wasn't there doing
- 49:59Speaker 1: the meeting yesterday. Like I said, these papers just landed
- 50:02Speaker 1: on my desk today. What I'm not going to tolerate
- 50:04Speaker 1: is you people consistently wanting to file a lawsuit on somebody.
- 50:09Speaker 1: Now you want to file a lawsuit on me. You
- 50:11Speaker 1: know you're going way too far with this. This isn't
- 50:15Speaker 1: time I want to talk to I've never heard Okay,
- 50:21Speaker 1: well now you've heard of me. I'm and I work
- 50:24Speaker 1: here as well, and I'm not gonna stand you uh
- 50:27Speaker 1: uh dismantling me the way that you're doing. I just
- 50:30Speaker 1: have to get a lawyer to see you. That's not acceptable.
- 50:33Speaker 1: I got one more thing. This is nephew Timmy from
- 50:35Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Martin Show. You just got pracked. You got
- 50:39Speaker 1: pracked by your husband. Oh your hubb told me she've
- 50:48Speaker 1: been waiting on that check yeah, I was about to
- 50:52Speaker 1: go by the little office. All right, baby, let me
- 50:58Speaker 1: ask you something. Tell Timmy, what is the baddest radio
- 51:02Speaker 1: show in the land. All right, baby, look here, get
- 51:06Speaker 1: your checks up. Now they're doing praise and worship in
- 51:17Speaker 1: the prank. You've been waiting on the check, a big one,
- 51:23Speaker 1: and I don't come right. And you ever been waiting
- 51:25Speaker 1: on that big check, that accident check, that good settlement?
- 51:29Speaker 1: Oh my god, and I want it now, jaw man.
- 51:38Speaker 1: I was, I was waiting on a big check one
- 51:40Speaker 1: time and and uh and Jackie did not pay. She
- 51:46Speaker 1: she fell in the reels of paying my student loans,
- 51:50Speaker 1: I mean like two months off and man, I had
- 51:53Speaker 1: a ten eleven thousand dollar check coming. I was excited. Man,
- 51:57Speaker 1: they took that whole check, that whole check because she
- 52:02Speaker 1: forgot to pay the bill. Boy, you want to talk
- 52:05Speaker 1: about upset that day? You know you couldn't you couldn't
- 52:10Speaker 1: cut You can't cut your lady out. But I went
- 52:11Speaker 1: outside and did you did you blame her for it? Uh? Yeah, yeah,
- 52:19Speaker 1: it wasn't nobody. I mean I didn't. I didn't verbally
- 52:24Speaker 1: blame her, but yeah, it was her damn fault. I
- 52:26Speaker 1: mean yeah, but I didn't say to say that. But
- 52:28Speaker 1: you don't it to yourself. Yeah, I kept it to myself.
- 52:32Speaker 1: And that's where a lot of stress come from. We
- 52:34Speaker 1: keep all that pike in out there. But yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 52:37Speaker 1: I kept it out for you. Newhew what came what
- 52:41Speaker 1: came out of that is all mind. Well, but she
- 52:45Speaker 1: I'm gonna pay, you're gonna get from it. You're not
- 52:49Speaker 1: doing that fault she forgot. You pay your own long
- 52:52Speaker 1: keep up with you? No she over the bills. No,
- 52:55Speaker 1: you're not gonna do that call no, no, no, you
- 53:00Speaker 1: when you pay the light bill, you pay us to
- 53:01Speaker 1: a low bill, you pay that keep it going. If
- 53:04Speaker 1: I make the money and you in charge of the money,
- 53:06Speaker 1: do your job. Kiss is yelling about it. I wish
- 53:09Speaker 1: I was, because you ain't marg That's why when you
- 53:12Speaker 1: ain't Jackie. So we can say this right here, right now,
- 53:15Speaker 1: pay the bill now that world too, this place anger, Yeah,
- 53:22Speaker 1: you know it is definitely can't. I can't say nothing
- 53:32Speaker 1: at all, all right, guys, coming up next, it is
- 53:36Speaker 1: the Strawberry letter. The subject is the kitchen in the bedroom.

- 54:13Speaker 1: up and hold on tight. We got it from you here.
- 54:14Speaker 1: It is Strawberry Letter subject to the Kitchen and the Bedroom.
- 54:20Speaker 1: Dear Stephen Shirley, I'm a forty seven year old man
- 54:22Speaker 1: and I'm married to a forty two year old woman
- 54:24Speaker 1: that I've known for twelve years. We got married after
- 54:28Speaker 1: we've been apart for about five years. I didn't want
- 54:31Speaker 1: to let her go again, so I rushed in. Before
- 54:34Speaker 1: we got back together, I dated a great businesswoman that
- 54:38Speaker 1: was the total package. She was a great cook and
- 54:41Speaker 1: she held it down as a small business owner. She
- 54:44Speaker 1: looked good and smelled good all of the time. She
- 54:47Speaker 1: set the bar really high as far as dating goes.
- 54:50Speaker 1: But she didn't want to be married, so we ended
- 54:52Speaker 1: up growing apart. I rebounded back to what was familiar
- 54:57Speaker 1: and who I was comfortable with. The problem is that
- 55:00Speaker 1: she's way too comfy with everything. My wife is not
- 55:04Speaker 1: the woman I met years ago. She's a bit of
- 55:07Speaker 1: a slop now. And I heard her on the phone
- 55:09Speaker 1: with her mom a few days ago saying that I
- 55:11Speaker 1: love her unconditionally and will drink her bathwater if she
- 55:15Speaker 1: asks me too. She's so wrong about that. I'm falling
- 55:19Speaker 1: out of love with her and starting to feel stuck.
- 55:23Speaker 1: She's got an outstanding body and she knows it. She
- 55:27Speaker 1: thinks she's putting it on me in the bedroom, but
- 55:29Speaker 1: it's always sloppy and all over the place. I just
- 55:32Speaker 1: want to make love to my wife every once in
- 55:34Speaker 1: a while, but she's on some freaky stuff all of
- 55:38Speaker 1: the time. I want home cooked meals that I don't
- 55:41Speaker 1: always have to cook, and she told me that she
- 55:43Speaker 1: no longer enjoys cooking, and we need to get a
- 55:46Speaker 1: meal prep delivered or her mom can cook for us occasionally.
- 55:50Speaker 1: She must think I'm a fool if she cannot meet
- 55:52Speaker 1: my basic needs in the kitchen and the bedroom. Why
- 55:55Speaker 1: am I in this? I'm a Christian and I don't
- 55:58Speaker 1: believe in divorce, but I can't keep doing this. How
- 56:01Speaker 1: can I fix my failing marriage before it's too late? Okay,
- 56:06Speaker 1: I'm just a bit confused about what exactly you want.
- 56:10Speaker 1: I mean, you're complaining about everything, but one of the
- 56:13Speaker 1: main things is the bedroom action. Because you put that
- 56:17Speaker 1: in your title. You're saying she can't please you, but
- 56:22Speaker 1: she wants it all the time and you only want
- 56:24Speaker 1: it every once in a while. There's a problem there.
- 56:27Speaker 1: You know, first of all, you got to have an obvious,
- 56:30Speaker 1: honest conversation with her about your concerns. You've got to
- 56:33Speaker 1: communicate with her, just like you told Steve and I.
- 56:36Speaker 1: You've got to let your wife know what's on your mind.
- 56:38Speaker 1: I mean, you owe to yourself, you owe to your wife,
- 56:40Speaker 1: You owte to your marriage, and don't let her go
- 56:42Speaker 1: around thinking she's got it going on and but you
- 56:45Speaker 1: think she's missing it. I mean, that's not good, and
- 56:48Speaker 1: that's on you. The kitchen in the bedroom are important
- 56:51Speaker 1: to you, and you're not getting what you want, which
- 56:53Speaker 1: is only once in a while. But you're complaining because
- 56:56Speaker 1: she wants it all the time. It's you're probably both
- 57:01Speaker 1: sitting up. They're frustrated. I say. You know, when you
- 57:04Speaker 1: do talk to her, be careful how you say what
- 57:06Speaker 1: you say, because you could really end up hurting your
- 57:08Speaker 1: wife's feelings. If you're uncomfortable with doing this, get some
- 57:12Speaker 1: sort of counseling because your marriage is in trouble and
- 57:16Speaker 1: you need to start looking at some serious solutions. You
- 57:18Speaker 1: said you're a Christian who doesn't believe in divorce. Let
- 57:22Speaker 1: me tell you something. Christians get divorced every single day,
- 57:26Speaker 1: every day, you know, for whatever reason for cheating. Christians
- 57:31Speaker 1: cheat all of that, all of those things. You're asking,
- 57:35Speaker 1: how can you fix your failing marriage before it's too late.
- 57:38Speaker 1: You got to fix yourself. You gotta fix these things together.
- 57:42Speaker 1: So again I suggest counseling therapy. You know you're staying
- 57:46Speaker 1: in this and you're not happy and she may not
- 57:48Speaker 1: be happy either. Where you are right now. It can
- 57:51Speaker 1: lead to cheating, It can lead to resentment, disrespect, distance,
- 57:55Speaker 1: all those things, and before you know it, you'll be
- 57:58Speaker 1: a divorced Christian if you don't decide what you're gonna
- 58:01Speaker 1: do and try to fix it now. Steve, Yeah, great response, Shirley,
- 58:05Speaker 1: This marriage is over. This is a rap. You ain't
- 58:10Speaker 1: fixing this one. This one is not salvage you bole.
- 58:13Speaker 1: I'm going to read you this is a man who
- 58:16Speaker 1: wrote this letter, and I am going to show you
- 58:19Speaker 1: why this letter ain't going. First of all, when a
- 58:22Speaker 1: man get down to writing, he already done. He he
- 58:27Speaker 1: just needed to hear some other opinions. So listen to
- 58:30Speaker 1: this forty seven year old man married to a forty
- 58:33Speaker 1: two year old woman he's known for twelve years. We
- 58:36Speaker 1: got married after we had been apart five years. This
- 58:41Speaker 1: is critical to the letter. They had been a part
- 58:46Speaker 1: for five years. A lot can happen in five years,
- 58:51Speaker 1: and a lot of changes can happen in five years.
- 58:54Speaker 1: I'm telling you this marriage is over. I didn't want
- 58:58Speaker 1: to let her go again, so I rushed in before
- 59:01Speaker 1: we before we got back together. Now I rushed in
- 59:05Speaker 1: before we got back together. Here your problem. I dated
- 59:09Speaker 1: a great businesswoman that was the total package. She was
- 59:13Speaker 1: a great cook, she held it down as a small
- 59:16Speaker 1: business owner. She looked good and smelled good all the time.
- 59:20Speaker 1: She set the bar really far as high as dating goals.
- 59:24Speaker 1: But she didn't want to be married, so we ended
- 59:26Speaker 1: up growing apart. This I will show you later on
- 59:30Speaker 1: in the letter why this is the whole problem. This
- 59:36Speaker 1: is why this marriage is doomed because in the five
- 59:40Speaker 1: years that they were apart, this is what and who
- 59:45Speaker 1: he got involved with, and this is how he felt
- 59:50Speaker 1: during the five year period they were apart. This is
- 59:54Speaker 1: the description of what this man was doing. I dated
- 59:58Speaker 1: a great businesswoman that was the total package. Great cook,
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: she held it down as a business owner. She looked
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: good and smelled good all the time. She set the
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: bar really far as high as dating goals. She just
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: didn't want to be married. So we ended up going
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: part Then, he said, I rebounded back to what was
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: familiar and who I was comfortable with. And the problem
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: me is she's way too comfortable with everything. Oh, you
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: ain't gonna get fixed this, miss Strawberries. All right, we'll
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: have part two of your response coming up, Steve, to
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: this letter, the Kitchen and the Bedroom, coming up at
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: twenty three minutes after the hour right after this you're
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: listening show. All right, Come on, Steve, let's recap today's
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: Strawberry letter, The Kitchen and the Bedroom. The name of
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: this letter is this marriage is doomed. Forty seven year
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: old man dating forty two year old woman that he's
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: known for twelve years. We got married. At that we
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: had been apart for five years, and so he rushed
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: back in because he didn't want to lose her. But
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: during the five year period, this is what he did.
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: I dated a great businesswoman that was a total package.
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: She was a great cook, she held it down to
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: a small business owner. She looked good and smelled good
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: all the time. She set the bar really hard as
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: far as high as dating goals. But she didn't want
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: to be married, so we ended up growing apart. Ah,
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: here we go. That's the problem of this whole letter.
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: Now here's the other problem. I rebounded back to what
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: was famillion, who I was comfortable with, and the problem
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: is she's way too comfy with everything. So here is
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: the beginning the second part of the problem, which is
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: why I say this marriage is due. My wife is
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: not the woman I met years ago. She's a bit
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: of a slob now. And I heard on the phone
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: with her mom a few days ago saying that I
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: love her unconditionally and would drank her bath water. She
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: asked me to guess what he said. She is so
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: wrong about that. I ain't taking a teaspoon in your
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: little fucking bathwater. Drinking bath water from you? Didn't you
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: just hear him describe her as a bit of a
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: slob right now? And then the man said, I'm falling
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: out of love with her and starting to feel stuck.
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: You're not starting to fall out of love. He out
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: of love. This is not a letter of something that's declining.
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: This is a letter about something that has declined. Because
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: he said I feel stuck. Now, he tried to bring
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: it back. She's got an outstanding body and she knows it.
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: She thinks she's putting on me in the bedroom. But
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: it's always sloppy and all over the place. Well, now, ladies,
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: you're probably thinking, what does he mean when he says
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: it's always sloppy and all over the place. It means
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: she's doing too much. She doing too much, she doing
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: the most, And that ain't what he won't it's sloppy
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: and it's all over the place. They time he gets
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: a little rhythm going, she won't jump up do something
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: else that's sloppy. Love it. Every time we get somewhere
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: before I can get a good rhythm going here, you
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: won't jump up and do something else. And I'm gonna
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: tell you why, because listen, to this line right here.
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: I just want to make love to my wife once
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: in a while. But she on some freaking stuff all
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: the time. And you know where she got this freaking
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: stuff from the five years, y'all was a part while
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: you was dating Superwoman. She found Ron the mac and
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: he didn't put it on her. Now she thinks that's
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: the way it goes, sloppy and all over play. Do
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: it like they flip over here, give me that that
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: that stand up over here? Okay, you're doing every no, okay,
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: now on your back. Cannot hold on to the shiney
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: and that Swain crossed me one time. Hold on right there,
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: going there, branks some water in here, throws throws them
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: oil on it. It's just too much, she told me. Yeah, okay,
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: but she's on some freaking stuff all the time. I
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: want a home cooking meals that I don't always have
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: to cook, she told me. She no longer enjoys cooking,
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: and we need to get a meal prep delivered or
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: her mom can cook for us occasionally. She must think
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: I'm a fool. And you know why, he says, you
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: think I'm a fool because of what he had before.
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: He said, I dated a great business woman. That was
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: a total package. She was a great cook, she held
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: it down to a small business. She looked good and
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: smelled good all the time. She was not a slob,
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: and she was not sloppy. She must think I'm a
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: fool if she cannot meet my basic needs in the kitchen,
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: in the bedroom, Why am I in this? See he's
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: he wants He just wants us to tell him why
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: in it? Then here's the line of lines. I'm a
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: Christian and I don't believe in divorce, but I can't
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: keep doing this. So how can I fix my failing
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: marriage before it's too late? What do you mean before
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: it's too late? Dog, it's already too late. First of all,
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: I'm a Christian. I don't believe in What did that
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: got to do with it? Shannon did say something that
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: made all the sense in the world. Christian get divorced
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: all the time? No, damn what you believe in. I
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: believe in the Bible, I sin, I believe in the
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: weather Channel, but sometimes I don't bring my jacket. The
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: problem with this is the comparison. The comparison is the
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: whole problem in this relationship. Right now, the five years
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: they was apart, he ran up into the real deal,
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: the rebound. He got back with her and things have change.
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: It is no way to fix this. You can bring
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: it up if you want to, but she's already convinced
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: that you love her unconditionally and you would drink her
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: bath water. She is wrong about that. He's not drinking
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: her bathwater. And he had drank that other girl. So
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: you don't think that day fixing his shout because what
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: he won't he had and what he went back to
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: is not what he had or what he won't anymore.
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: As she is slob now, as she only want a cook,
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: as she doing too much in the bed, that she's
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: showing what she learned in the five years he was off,
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: and he won't what he had before. This is a wrap.
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: You can try to fix this if you want to,
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: mister creep. All right, please leave your comments on Today's
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: letter on Instagram at Steve Harvey FM and check out
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: the Strawberry Letter podcast on demand. Coming up next, it
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: is Junior and Sports Talk right after this. You're listening
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: morning show? All right, guys, it is time now for
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: Junior and Sports Talk. What you got junior? Okay? Sureley,
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: you know the game of the Last Night between the
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: Golden State Warriors and the Dallas Mavericks. You know, the
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: Dallas Mavericks one one nineteen to one on nine. But
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: that's not really the story. I want to hear what
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: coach Steve Chris sid When are we gonna do something.
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: I'm tired. I'm so tired of getting up here and
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: offering condolences to the devastated families that are out there.
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: I'm so tired of the excuse me, I'm sorry. I'm
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: tired of the moments of silence. Enough. There's fifty senators
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: right now who refuse to vote on HR eight, which
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: is a background check rule that the House passed a
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: couple of years ago. It's been sitting there for two years,
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: and there's a reason they won't vote on it, to
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: hold on to power. So I ask you, Mitch McConnell,
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: ask all of you senators who refuse to do anything
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: about the violence and school shootings, supermarket shootings. I ask you,
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: are you going to put your own desire for power
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: ahead of the lives of our children and our elderly
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: and our churchgoers, Because that's what it looks like, it's
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: what we do every week. So I'm fed up. I've
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: had enough. We're gonna play the game tonight. But I
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: want every person here, every person listening to this, to
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: think about your own child or grandchild, or mother or
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: father or sister, brother. How would you feel if this
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: happened to you today. We can't get numb to this.
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: We can't sit here and just read about it and go, well,
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: it's not a moment of silence. Yeah, go, dubs, come on, mouths,
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: let's go. That's what we're gonna do. We're gonna go
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: play a basketball game. Who Willson, so proud, so profound,
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: said that we feel the exact same boy. For everyone.
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: Pressure has to be put on the Senate. It has
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: to be and they got to make some changes. Then
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: they never make any changes. He was sweeping under the rug,
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: and another day goes by, Oh justice, we'll forget about it,
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: or like Steve Kerr said, become numb to it or
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: just to it, or another day of saying thoughts and prayers.
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: That's what they do. That's what the Senate does, send
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: out their thoughts and pass and no action on gun reform.
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: But until it happens to one of their children, then maybe,
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: But how many times maybe, and that's a big maybe.
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: That's a big maybe. Yeah. I mean children, these are
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: babies that were killed in school. We saw this with
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: Sandy just praying. All I thought about was my kids,
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: and when you drop them off at school, at school,
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: that's just you think they're safe, that they're good the case.
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: No more school ending tomorrow. Yeah, it's just sad, very sad.
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: All right, Junior, thank you for that, and we'll be
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: back with more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show right
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: after this. You're listening to show. The Memorial Day holiday
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: will be celebrated this weekend and it's definitely barbecue, seeds
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: and it kicks off the summer all of that. So
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: I want to know what you'll be putting on the
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: grilled Steve and Tommy and Junior. I don't. I don't
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: know if you could, but I know you'll be eating. Yeah,
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: it's in case. You know, I need to stop buy
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: and get a plate. I don't do that. I don't
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: even have fall, I don't have paper. You have the
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: takeout containers of that. So what are you going to
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: be too much? Yeah, we don't have people that do that.
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: We don't know people that come over big that what
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: you're cooking ribs, burgers, meat, meat, anything that is meat.
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: I don't do fish on the grill. Don't ask me
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: fun no fish. You wouldn't grill a nice salmon steak.
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: Put on what I do. Don't meat that all meats,
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: baby baby backs. Take me now, tim me, that's what
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: Junior's asking for that. I can't do it because Junior's
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: not has not convinced me that he is a true barbecueologist.
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: And I'm scared that he gonna be sprinkling my rub
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: on ham sandwiches and putting it on top of potato
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: salad like me or something. I'm not gonna do this
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: with Junior, you know, like it's some sprinkle or I'm like, yeah,
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: you got it, Like he's larish, Like you're just putting
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: it on everything, all on your French fries. We're not
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: fitting to do that. And putting a little bit on
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: the baked beans. You're nothing to do that to my
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: damn rib. It off with everything. Yeah, sprinkling on stop
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: of stuff that ain't gonna I put a little bit
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: on my slow what take my rib and put it
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: on nothing? So it's all meat of fair Now that
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: will be side. Besides will be baked beans, cold slaw,
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: corn on the cob. That the corn goes on the grill,
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: but it goes on the grill in the husk. Well,
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: why can't you do the fish on a plank if
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: you could do the corn. I just told you I
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: don't do fish. Now, I have two sons. That's uh.
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: Pesca tried that only eat fit, So Steve, my girlfriend
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: take a day off from it. I'm gonna try this chicken.
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: My girlfriend that says she no longer eats land animals
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: will not be invited. Oh, she can come, but I
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: don't know what she's gonna do. She gonna eat called?
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: What did you gonna eat animals? It's some meat in
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: them beans? I don't know what. I don't know what
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: she gonna do. I don't eat land animals. What what
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: you gonna eat? A animals? Birds? You know, I ain't
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: got no fight. You didn't say potato salad? You cooking
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: potato salad? Uh No, I kind of gave up potato
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: salad years ago. There's only a lot of people don't
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: know how to make potato salad. I don't really know
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: how to make it. Marjorie make a good potato salad.
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: But yeah, and Margie, Mama, Lord, Marjorie's really is outstanding cook.
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: Margie's outstanding. She thinks she had better grial person to me,
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: but I don't want to hurt it. She's gonna get
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: cussed out. And she say that in front of somebody else. Again,
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: that's what if she told me she could barbecue just
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: as good at me, She's gonna mess around and get
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: a little self cussed out. Yeah, I'm trying not to
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: because I know that's what that's gonna cost me. But
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: she borderline getting cussed out. She tell one more person
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: she can griel as good as me, because that's a
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: damn lie. And here a little us Scott shrimp on
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: ski us who do that? He? I hear barbecue battle
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: coming on? That's it all right? Coming up, coming up

- 1:19:55Speaker 1: break of the day. Right after this, you're listening Steve
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: Harvey running show. All right, Steve, here we are last
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: break of the day. I mean, it's a you know,
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: hard times we're living in right now. And you had
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: some closing remarks sad man. Yeah, it just really is horrific. Hi,
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: let me start with this. We're all sick, right, yeah,
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: about everything that's happened. But let me show you how
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: this works, just from my estimation. Now, keep in mind,
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: as I'm talking to you, I'm talking to you looking
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: behind the eyeballs of a sixty five year old black
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: man born in nineteen fifty seven in Welch, West Virginia,
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: in the heart of segregation. Oh, I've been here before integration, man,
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: I was here before busting. I was here when colored
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: water fountains, colored bathroom, colored lunch counters, black people got
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: to go to the back of the dope, back of
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: the store. I've been here for that. So now what
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: I'm talking about ain't coming from nothing. I think what
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: I'm finished sharing with you is coming from what I know.
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: So now let me tell you what I know, and
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: I ain't got time to fix it in sugarcoat it
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: for you. This country of ours, and I say hours,
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: because it belongs to us like it belonged to anybody else.
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: Because we built this country. America was built on free label.
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: Who you think provided the free label? Why is Hindes
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: and Philip Morris and all these tobacco companies. So strong.
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: Why is cotton the leading industry? Or you think they're
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: getting fabric falls underwear? How you think they got to
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: be so big? Because if you can build a company
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: with no labor cost, oh my goodness, how strong can
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: you be? This is our country. The problem with it
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: is this constitution that was written by their forefathers for
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: their forefathers and their generations to come. They will not
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: include us in it. We're not in the constitution. Man. Now,
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: let me tell you how slick they are down in Georgia.
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: Do you know that Herschel walker won the Senate primary
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: in Georgia. Let me tell you how slick they are.
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: They gonna go find the black to put up against
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: the black, to confuse the blacks at the polls because
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: they actually think that we just vote for people cause
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: they black. So now since Stacy Abrams is black, they
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: gonna get they black, but they black is different thought.
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: Herschel Walkerton made some statements, man, that's soul anti black.
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: That it's alarming. Man. This dude, right hill Man has
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: made some comments about critical race theory. He don't even
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: know what it is because he's exempted himself from that.
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: You think, man, because they got their arm around you,
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: that they care about you. They care about you because
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: of what you can do for them. Other than the moment,
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: you can't do nothing for them, mister Walker, You're gonna
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: get your black ass right back in that line with
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: the rest stuff them. Watch what I tell you, mess
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: around and don't win this one. Oh, but we're gonna
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: do everything in our power with them because we're gonna
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: go to the polls. Now. I just wanted to say that.
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: But now let me move on to this killing. This thing,
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: this nineteen kids and two teachers killed by a gunman
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: in a Texas school. Let me tell you something. Do
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: you know that you can't kill a deer unless it's
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: dear season? Do you know the penalty the time you
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: will have to serve if you kill a deer out
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: of deer season. I don't give a damn. If you
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: come downstairs and that deer is eating breakfast at your table,
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: you ask betting not kill that deer. You better have
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: a license, a tag, the right gun. You can't take
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: a deal to the taxidermy with the wrong kind of
- 1:24:09Speaker 1: bullets in it. You can't use an AK on a deer.
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: You got to use legalized hunting you gotta have a license,
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: you gotta get a tag. Try killing the deer out
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: of season and see what happened. But we're season all
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: year long. It's wide open for us. Ain't no season
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: for killing people of color. It ain't no season for
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: you walking in our churches and doing it to us,
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: coming in our grocery stores and doing it to us,
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: walking in our schools and doing it to us, coming
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: in our movie theaters and doing it to us because
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: we got our music loud. You can do it to
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: us because you thought we had a sell phone. You
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: can do it to us because we talked back to
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: you the wrong way. You can do it to us.
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: You can put your knee on our neck for as
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: long as you like on camera and do it to us.
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: And we got to sit here and take it. This
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: is the America we live in. See that Constitution that
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: y'all keep holding up, and we're gonna get to that
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: second Amendment in just a second. But that constitution you
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: keep holding up ain't got a damn thing to do
- 1:25:16Speaker 1: with us, and we know it. We've been trying to
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: get in this constitution since you wrote the damn thing,
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: but we ain't in it now. The NRA is gonna
- 1:25:25Speaker 1: have a meeting in Houston this week and the star
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: speakers is Donald Trump, Ted Cruz and Governor Abbott. Oh
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: And they're going down there too because they better, because
- 1:25:37Speaker 1: the nr A is the largest contributor to the Republican Party.
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: If they don't show up, they're gonna take their money
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: from them. And Donald Trump is down there for the money.
- 1:25:47Speaker 1: Fox has a commercial run on TV that's a thing
- 1:25:51Speaker 1: that you can buy for kids that teach you about
- 1:25:53Speaker 1: Donald Trump and the goodness of this country. Help your
- 1:25:57Speaker 1: kids learn this is what it says, the truth about
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: President Trump, and celebrate a miracle with this free patriotic gift.
- 1:26:05Speaker 1: That's a commercial on Fox. They breathing these young people,
- 1:26:08Speaker 1: they're putting it in a matter of early age. We're
- 1:26:11Speaker 1: not gonna get rid of this hatred, in this immorality
- 1:26:13Speaker 1: because they keep breathing it. Those my closing remarks today,
- 1:26:17Speaker 1: welcome to the United States of a miracle. I wish
- 1:26:21Speaker 1: you could see it from behind my black ass eyes,
- 1:26:24Speaker 1: because you see it just like I do. Now, y'all
- 1:26:27Speaker 1: have a good day because we ate for all. Steve
