- 0:01Speaker 1: The President having a cabinet meeting at the White House
- 0:05Speaker 1: and making it very clear that he is getting tough
- 0:09Speaker 1: and staying tough on tariffs.
- 0:11Speaker 2: I'll give you a great example.
- 0:13Speaker 1: South Africa is now facing a thirty percent US tariff
- 0:16Speaker 1: hike plus a ten percent surcharge for anti American.
- 0:20Speaker 2: Policies, and he's not messing around.
- 0:23Speaker 3: Now.
- 0:23Speaker 1: I'm going to give you more details on that part
- 0:25Speaker 1: in a second, but before we get to that, I
- 0:28Speaker 1: want you to hear the President in his own words
- 0:30Speaker 1: at the cabinet meeting at the White House. And here's
- 0:32Speaker 1: what he said about the letters that we've been sitting
- 0:34Speaker 1: out in the past on tariffs and what we're doing now,
- 0:37Speaker 1: Big bill.
- 0:39Speaker 4: Tariffs.
- 0:40Speaker 5: What happened to ninety three deals in ninety days.
- 0:45Speaker 6: Oh, we've spoken to everybody.
- 0:46Speaker 4: We know.
- 0:47Speaker 7: It's all done.
- 0:49Speaker 6: I tell you, I tell you, we'll make some deals.
- 0:52Speaker 6: But for the most part, we're going to send a letter.
- 0:54Speaker 6: We're going to say, welcome to the United States, if
- 0:57Speaker 6: you'd like to participate in the greatest, most successful country ever.
- 1:01Speaker 6: I mean, we're doing better than ever we have I
- 1:05Speaker 6: don't think, and you're going to see these numbers soon.
- 1:07Speaker 6: We've never had numbers like this. We've never had investment
- 1:09Speaker 6: like this. We have more than ninety. We're going to
- 1:12Speaker 6: have much more than ninety, but most of those are
- 1:14Speaker 6: going to be said to a letter, this is exactly
- 1:16Speaker 6: what I said. Now, we've made a deal with the
- 1:18Speaker 6: United Kingdom, we've made a deal with China, we've made
- 1:21Speaker 6: a deal, we're close to making a deal with India.
- 1:24Speaker 6: Others we met with and we don't think we're going
- 1:26Speaker 6: to be able to make a deal, so we just
- 1:27Speaker 6: send them a letter. If you want to if you
- 1:29Speaker 6: want to play ball, you have to this is what
- 1:31Speaker 6: you have to pay. So we're, as far as I'm concerned,
- 1:35Speaker 6: we're done.
- 1:36Speaker 7: We're sending out.
- 1:37Speaker 6: Letters to various countries telling them how much tariffs they
- 1:40Speaker 6: have to pay. Some will maybe adjust a little bit,
- 1:43Speaker 6: depending if they have a cause. We're not going to
- 1:46Speaker 6: be unfair about it.
- 1:47Speaker 7: And actually it's a small.
- 1:49Speaker 6: Fraction compared to what we should be getting. We should
- 1:51Speaker 6: be we could be asking for much more, but for
- 1:54Speaker 6: the sake of relationships that we've had with a lot
- 1:57Speaker 6: of really good countries, we're doing the way I do it.
- 2:01Speaker 3: But we could be.
- 2:01Speaker 2: Getting a lot more.
- 2:02Speaker 6: We could ask for a lot more than what we're
- 2:04Speaker 6: asking for.
- 2:06Speaker 1: You were sending the letters to follow on the head
- 2:09Speaker 1: and ask earlier your counties has deals by saying here's.
- 2:13Speaker 6: The teractery I'm saying here it is congratulations, welcome to
- 2:17Speaker 6: the United States. I hope you make a lot of money,
- 2:19Speaker 6: and you're going to pay us money. They were ripping us.
- 2:22Speaker 6: They were charging US tariffs at levels that nobody's ever
- 2:26Speaker 6: seen before. We have some countries who are charging two
- 2:29Speaker 6: hundred percent tariffs and making it impossible to do business.
- 2:33Speaker 6: And what the tariffs are doing is they're driving people
- 2:35Speaker 6: in and companies in into the United States. That's why
- 2:38Speaker 6: we're building all of the work that you see happening
- 2:41Speaker 6: in this country right now, and it's at a record level,
- 2:44Speaker 6: all the factories, all of the AI institutions that are
- 2:48Speaker 6: being built. It's largely because well I think it's because
- 2:51Speaker 6: of November fifth, the good election, and I think it's
- 2:54Speaker 6: because of the tariffs.
- 2:55Speaker 1: Thank you all very much, thank you, thank you so
- 2:58Speaker 1: the President laying out where going moving forward, which brings
- 3:02Speaker 1: me back to what I said about South Africa and
- 3:06Speaker 1: is now one of fourteen countries that have been slapped
- 3:09Speaker 1: with large tariff increases by President Donald Trump on Monday
- 3:13Speaker 1: as a quote punitive measure for lack of progress in negotiations,
- 3:18Speaker 1: and now they're facing a thirty percent duty. In addition,
- 3:22Speaker 1: South Africa, as one of the Bricks countries, which includes Brazil, Russia, India, China,
- 3:27Speaker 1: and South Africa, among others, they could face an additional
- 3:31Speaker 1: ten percent for anti American policies now. Donald Trump, to
- 3:36Speaker 1: be clear, had suspended the imposition of the tariffs that
- 3:39Speaker 1: he announced in April until July ninth, but began sending
- 3:43Speaker 1: letters this week to countries, including close trading partners, that
- 3:46Speaker 1: he felt that there had not been enough that had
- 3:50Speaker 1: gotten done. USA Today reporting it this way, saying, quote
- 3:53Speaker 1: President Donald Trump revealed new tariff rates on fourteen countries
- 3:57Speaker 1: and extended until August one to pause on higher rates
- 4:00Speaker 1: that was due to expire July ninth, and separate July
- 4:04Speaker 1: seventh letters to each targeted country. Trump said he will
- 4:09Speaker 1: impose twenty five percent tariffs on goods from Malaysia, Tunisia, Kazakhstan,
- 4:14Speaker 1: thirty percent tariff rates on imports from South Africa, and
- 4:18Speaker 1: forty percent tariffs from Mirmar and laos Now, products from
- 4:23Speaker 1: Cambodia and Thailand will receive thirty six percent tariffs, while
- 4:28Speaker 1: Serbia and Bangladesh will face a rate of thirty five percent.
- 4:33Speaker 1: Trump and the Indonesian partners would have a They say
- 4:37Speaker 1: imports would have a thirty two percent tariff and goods
- 4:40Speaker 1: from Bosnia would also.
- 4:43Speaker 2: Be tariff at thirty percent.
- 4:44Speaker 1: Now, Trump's message to South Africa was posted on his
- 4:47Speaker 1: true social side along with letters to other leaders in
- 4:51Speaker 1: other countries. Now, the South African government and the South
- 4:54Speaker 1: African media had largely been complementary of the President in
- 4:59Speaker 1: South africa contentious White House meeting in May, but they
- 5:03Speaker 1: overlooked the fact that the president came without any compromise
- 5:06Speaker 1: to offer, and then he left without achieving any agreements,
- 5:10Speaker 1: which is now putting their trade at real risk.
- 5:15Speaker 2: Now, South Africa has.
- 5:16Speaker 1: Tweaked the US on foreign policy issues, recently signing a
- 5:21Speaker 1: book of condolence at the Iranian embassy after the US
- 5:26Speaker 1: bombed the country's nuclear site. Again, that's why the President said, oh,
- 5:30Speaker 1: and we're going to slap you with that additional ten
- 5:32Speaker 1: percent anti American policies tariff because clearly you're trying to
- 5:37Speaker 1: undermine this country. Now, I tell you all of that
- 5:41Speaker 1: to go back to how quickly things can change. Trump
- 5:45Speaker 1: has also come out within the last couple hours and
- 5:48Speaker 1: said that the US is actually close to making a
- 5:52Speaker 1: deal with protectionist India. President Trump telling reporters this administration
- 5:58Speaker 1: is close to finalizing a trade deal with India. India
- 6:01Speaker 1: heads it spats last week by notifying the World Trade
- 6:04Speaker 1: Organization KNOWS the WTO that it could impose up to
- 6:08Speaker 1: seven hundred and twenty four million in retaliatory tariffs against
- 6:12Speaker 1: American goods if a trade deal is not reached, so
- 6:16Speaker 1: that would be significant. We are doing better than ever,
- 6:20Speaker 1: is what Trump said to reporters while meeting with the
- 6:22Speaker 1: Israeli Prime Minster net Yai with the White House, saying quote,
- 6:25Speaker 1: We've never had numbers like this, We've never had investment
- 6:29Speaker 1: like this.
- 6:30Speaker 2: Referring to bring jobs back.
- 6:31Speaker 1: To America, Trump said his administration now has more than
- 6:35Speaker 1: ninety trade proposals that are on the table, saying, quote,
- 6:38Speaker 1: now we've made a deal with the United Kingdom, We've
- 6:41Speaker 1: made a deal with China, We're getting close to making
- 6:44Speaker 1: a deal with India. Others we meet with and we
- 6:48Speaker 1: don't think are going to be able to make a deal. Well,
- 6:51Speaker 1: then guess what we just sent them a letter. The
- 6:54Speaker 1: letter in question, Trump said, would cordially invite nations that
- 6:58Speaker 1: did not make a deal to continue doing business with
- 7:01Speaker 1: the greatest, most successful country ever, provided that they are
- 7:05Speaker 1: willing to pay much higher tariffs. We're sending out the
- 7:08Speaker 1: letters to these various countries telling them how much tariffs
- 7:11Speaker 1: they have to pay. Some will maybe adjust a little bit,
- 7:15Speaker 1: depending if they have a cause. He went on to explain,
- 7:19Speaker 1: We're not going to be unfair about it, and actually
- 7:22Speaker 1: it's a small fraction compared to what we should be getting.
- 7:25Speaker 2: We should be we could be asking for much more.
- 7:28Speaker 1: The President went on to say, Now, the list of
- 7:30Speaker 1: countries that have received those sorry we couldn't make a
- 7:33Speaker 1: deal with tariff letters, the White House is saying as Thailand, Miramar, Bangladesh,
- 7:38Speaker 1: South Africa, South Korea, Malaysia, Kazakhshan, and Japan. The new
- 7:42Speaker 1: tariffs that are scheduled to take effect now August one,
- 7:45Speaker 1: So there's still a little time for these countries to
- 7:48Speaker 1: avoid the higher levels by changing their trade policies with
- 7:52Speaker 1: the US. Now, if they do not make a deal,
- 7:54Speaker 1: those fourteen countries, the White House says, will face from
- 7:57Speaker 1: twenty five percent for Japan and South Africa, up to
- 8:02Speaker 1: forty percent for mer mar and Laos, and the President
- 8:06Speaker 1: saying again, we're going to be very busy over the
- 8:08Speaker 1: next seventy two hours. We're going to be sending the
- 8:10Speaker 1: letters out to our trading partners, saying that if you
- 8:12Speaker 1: don't move things along, then on August one, you're going
- 8:16Speaker 1: to be well boomeranging back to your April second tariff levels.
- 8:20Speaker 2: So I think we're going to see a lot of
- 8:21Speaker 2: deals very.
- 8:22Speaker 1: Quickly, is what the Treasury Secretary Scott Missent said as
- 8:26Speaker 1: well today. Now, the Indian negotiating team, which returned from
- 8:30Speaker 1: Washington on Friday after a week of meetings with their
- 8:33Speaker 1: US counterparts, reportedly sought a quote mini trade deal that
- 8:37Speaker 1: would be good enough to hold tariffs at bay for
- 8:39Speaker 1: a bit longer until the quote more delicate issues can
- 8:43Speaker 1: be worked out. India, which saw twenty five percent tariffs
- 8:47Speaker 1: impose on passenger vehicles, light trucks, and auto parts in March,
- 8:52Speaker 1: wrote a letter, as I said, a moment ago, to
- 8:55Speaker 1: the WTO claiming that the Trump tariffs violated They said
- 8:59Speaker 1: the ninth teen ninety four trade agreement at the heart
- 9:01Speaker 1: of the World Trade Organization India.
- 9:04Speaker 2: By the way, calculate the.
- 9:07Speaker 1: US tariffs would affect nearly two point nine billion worth
- 9:09Speaker 1: of imports the United States for a total of seven
- 9:13Speaker 1: hundred and twenty three point seventy five million in tariffs.
- 9:17Speaker 1: So New Delhi would impose, they say, an equivalent amount
- 9:20Speaker 1: of duty collected from products originating in the United States
- 9:25Speaker 1: of America as their retaliatory tariff.
- 9:28Speaker 2: What does this mean?
- 9:29Speaker 1: Simply put one thing, the present's not backing down and
- 9:33Speaker 1: make it clear you better get a deal done quickly
- 9:35Speaker 1: or face the consequences. All right, I want to move
- 9:39Speaker 1: to another subject real quick. That is also one that
- 9:42Speaker 1: goes back to Democrats. Make it clear they don't respect
- 9:46Speaker 1: our laws in this country. It's very much what I
- 9:48Speaker 1: was just talking about with the FBI, a former FBI
- 9:50Speaker 1: and former CIA director, like they do not respect our laws.
- 9:56Speaker 1: We are now seeing and I guess this is like
- 9:58Speaker 1: the Democrats mayor's union around the country, Chicago mayor coming
- 10:04Speaker 1: out saying the city police won't cooperate with ICE. Now
- 10:10Speaker 1: you got to ask yourself the question why would they
- 10:12Speaker 1: not cooperate with ICE?
- 10:15Speaker 2: It is because they love illegal immigrants.
- 10:17Speaker 1: They do not care about their own citizens at all
- 10:22Speaker 1: the Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson getting in with the La
- 10:25Speaker 1: mayor now and said today that again, this is another
- 10:30Speaker 1: example of how.
- 10:31Speaker 2: Psycho the left has become, that the Windy City.
- 10:33Speaker 1: Police will not ever cooperate with immigration copstans enforcement ICE authorities.
- 10:40Speaker 1: You know, again, it's uncomfortable at a time in which
- 10:42Speaker 1: so many working people and poor people in need government
- 10:46Speaker 1: to show up for them, that this administration, the Trump administration,
- 10:50Speaker 1: has caused so much consternation division, is what Johnson said
- 10:54Speaker 1: a press conference. He was responding, by the way, to
- 10:57Speaker 1: a question about whether the city would use the police
- 11:00Speaker 1: department to shield students from federal agents conducting immigration raids
- 11:04Speaker 1: without warrants, saying, quote, look, we are a welcoming city ordnance,
- 11:09Speaker 1: so you are clearly saying come here.
- 11:11Speaker 2: And break the law.
- 11:12Speaker 1: Our local police department will never, ever will not cooperate
- 11:16Speaker 1: with ICE, whatever their concertial authority is. That is obviously
- 11:20Speaker 1: relegated to the Trump administration of our sister agency. City
- 11:25Speaker 1: departments have been thoroughly briefed by a corporate council and
- 11:29Speaker 1: I'll pass it over to her in a second about
- 11:32Speaker 1: what they can and cannot do.
- 11:35Speaker 2: Now.
- 11:35Speaker 1: Look, Johnson is a Democrat, a hardcore Democrat, and the
- 11:39Speaker 1: murder capital of the country.
- 11:41Speaker 2: He's been a.
- 11:41Speaker 1: Fierce critic of the Republican administration and the use of
- 11:45Speaker 1: ICE to carry out immigration forcement activities, which he says,
- 11:48Speaker 1: we don't do that in Chicago. In June, by the way,
- 11:52Speaker 1: the Chicago Sometimes reported that he urged city residents to
- 11:56Speaker 1: rise up in this moment, again, saying, quote, this is
- 12:02Speaker 1: a necessary fight for all of us to be able
- 12:05Speaker 1: to push back. Johnson said, quote whether we use the
- 12:09Speaker 1: courts or whether we continue to protest and raise our
- 12:11Speaker 1: voices to scent matters in this moment. It's a war
- 12:16Speaker 1: on our culture. So again, we don't have American culture.
- 12:18Speaker 1: We're not a nation. We are some Kumbayah, some culture
- 12:22Speaker 1: of lawbreakers. Right, that's what he's saying we are in
- 12:26Speaker 1: this country. I couldn't disagree with them more. He goes
- 12:28Speaker 1: on to say, it's a war on our democracy. Well,
- 12:31Speaker 1: hold on, democracy is about the rule of law. You
- 12:33Speaker 1: guys are saying, we refuse to respect the rule of law,
- 12:36Speaker 1: and you refuse to respect constitutional law, you refuse to
- 12:41Speaker 1: respect the President of the United States of America. You're
- 12:44Speaker 1: making up your own rules as you go, that's not
- 12:47Speaker 1: a democracy, is it. He goes on to say, it's
- 12:50Speaker 1: a war on our humanity. Tell that to the victims
- 12:54Speaker 1: of a legal immigrants who have committed crimes. Tell that
- 12:57Speaker 1: to the Americans that were under employed because of.
- 13:00Speaker 2: Legal immigrant labor.
- 13:01Speaker 1: By the way, we're witnessing a massive change right now
- 13:03Speaker 1: and the number of Americans are being hired because there
- 13:07Speaker 1: are legal immigrants that are leaving this country on their
- 13:10Speaker 1: own accordance, having a huge impact for American workers. Another
- 13:14Speaker 1: great example of what they don't want to tell you.
- 13:17Speaker 1: He said, it's a war on our humanity. I'm counting
- 13:20Speaker 1: on all of Chicago to resist in this moment because
- 13:26Speaker 1: whatever particularly vulnerable group is being targeted today, another group
- 13:31Speaker 1: will be next.
- 13:32Speaker 2: None of us are immune from this disease.
- 13:34Speaker 1: Okay, so if I want law and order, I am
- 13:38Speaker 1: now being referred to as a disease. Now why would
- 13:41Speaker 1: he do that? Well, because he when you have a disease, right,
- 13:44Speaker 1: what do you do?
- 13:45Speaker 2: You get rid of it? You exterminate it.
- 13:47Speaker 1: That's very much how Adolf Hitler was talking back in
- 13:50Speaker 1: the day about the Jews. Never forget right, they were
- 13:53Speaker 1: a disease that must be we must get rid of Well,
- 13:56Speaker 1: now the Chicago mayor is referring to Trump supporters this
- 14:00Speaker 1: same way that Adolf Hitler referred to the Jews.
- 14:02Speaker 2: It's pretty impressive for the Chicago mayor.
- 14:05Speaker 1: Chicago Mayor is also now called on the House Speaker
- 14:07Speaker 1: Mike Johnson to quote speak up about ICE mass deportation operations,
- 14:12Speaker 1: which he is also describing ready for this as terrorism.
- 14:17Speaker 1: So he's defending the people in the MS thirteen gangs
- 14:22Speaker 1: and the gang bangers and the drug dealers, the MS
- 14:27Speaker 1: thirteen guys, and he's saying, because we want law and order,
- 14:32Speaker 1: and because ICE is coming in and trying to restore
- 14:35Speaker 1: law and order and get rid of the worst among us,
- 14:38Speaker 1: especially in the legal immigrant community, we are now terrorists.
- 14:43Speaker 1: And if you're in favor of this, you are a terrorist.
- 14:46Speaker 1: This is terrorism. According to the New York Post, By
- 14:50Speaker 1: the way, more than fifty one thousand legal immigrants have
- 14:52Speaker 1: made their way to Chicago from the southern border since
- 14:56Speaker 1: August thirty first of last year. So just to put
- 14:59Speaker 1: it respective, how many people are going to Chicago and
- 15:02Speaker 1: last week Trump's borders are Tom Homan appeared on Fox
- 15:07Speaker 1: News where he slammed the new app called ICE block
- 15:11Speaker 1: that is reportedly being used to alert people of sightings
- 15:14Speaker 1: of ICE agents. Homan said, quote assault ICE against ICE
- 15:20Speaker 1: agents that were five hundred percent. Now you've got an
- 15:23Speaker 1: app that's going to tell where the ICE operations are going,
- 15:26Speaker 1: to tell me amount of time before the ICE agents
- 15:29Speaker 1: are ambushed by some nut like what happened in La
- 15:33Speaker 1: throwing them out, these these molotov cocktails, throwing bricks at
- 15:38Speaker 1: these officers.
- 15:38Speaker 2: This is just disgusting at every level.
- 15:42Speaker 1: Now, the scary part about what I just read for
- 15:44Speaker 1: you is what he had to say, and he did
- 15:47Speaker 1: predict the future.
- 15:49Speaker 2: How do we know this? There has been a rise in.
- 15:52Speaker 1: Threats which now being reported against federal law enforcement. A
- 15:56Speaker 1: shooter decided to ambush the Texas Border Patrol agents. An
- 16:00Speaker 1: active shooter killed in an attempt to ambush Border patrol
- 16:04Speaker 1: agents in Texas. We also know from another headline that
- 16:09Speaker 1: eleven were arrested for plotting an ambush to kill.
- 16:12Speaker 2: ICE corrections officers.
- 16:14Speaker 1: Now let me go back to the story about the
- 16:17Speaker 1: ambush and the border patrol agents in Texas. I want
- 16:20Speaker 1: you to take a listen to Center Mullen praising the
- 16:23Speaker 1: border wall funding and Trump's big, beautiful Bill talking about
- 16:27Speaker 1: how important it is that we get border security, and
- 16:31Speaker 1: then I want you to know about this shooter that
- 16:34Speaker 1: was armed with tactical gear and a rifle opened fire
- 16:38Speaker 1: on Border patrol agents.
- 16:39Speaker 2: They arrived at the Border Patrol Annex.
- 16:41Speaker 1: Facility in McAllen, Texas and the Rio Grand Valley on Monday.
- 16:45Speaker 1: Agents and local police, thank goodness, returned fire and killed
- 16:49Speaker 1: the gunman. No federal agents, by the way, were hit,
- 16:52Speaker 1: but one McCallan police officer was struck. Law enforcement sources
- 16:56Speaker 1: said the officer is in stable condition. Think the lord.
- 16:59Speaker 2: The official comment.
- 17:01Speaker 1: Was this this morning, an individual opened fire at the
- 17:04Speaker 1: entrance of the United States Border Patrol Sector Annex and McCallan, Texas.
- 17:08Speaker 1: Both Border patrol agents and local police helped neutralize the shooter.
- 17:12Speaker 1: The Department of Homeland Security said and statement quote, this
- 17:15Speaker 1: is an ongoing investigation led by the FBI, and more
- 17:18Speaker 1: information will be shared as it becomes available. Now, law
- 17:22Speaker 1: enforcement believes the attack was a purposeful quote ambush targeting
- 17:27Speaker 1: border patrol officials. Well, the police said they will hold
- 17:30Speaker 1: the news conference and they would tell more when they could.
- 17:33Speaker 2: I want you to hear part of what well.
- 17:36Speaker 1: Tom Homan also had to say about interior enforcement.
- 17:39Speaker 2: He says is key to border security as.
- 17:43Speaker 8: All suspects are now in custody after a Texas police
- 17:46Speaker 8: officer was shot in the neck while responding to a
- 17:48Speaker 8: call outside of an ICE facility. So it happened in Alvareto,
- 17:52Speaker 8: which is near Fort Worth. This was over the holiday weekend,
- 17:55Speaker 8: and Jonathan Hunt is following this story for US HI. Jonathan.
- 17:58Speaker 3: Good morning, Dana.
- 17:59Speaker 9: This old place in the late evening of July fourth,
- 18:02Speaker 9: outside the Prairie Land Detention Center in Alvarado. Police officers
- 18:07Speaker 9: responded to a call about a suspicious person outside the center.
- 18:11Speaker 9: When they arrived, they saw someone who appeared to have
- 18:14Speaker 9: a gun.
- 18:15Speaker 3: One of the Alvarado officers.
- 18:17Speaker 9: Tried to talk to that person, and at that point
- 18:20Speaker 9: several other people opened fire on the officer, who was
- 18:23Speaker 9: hit in the neck. He was treated at a local
- 18:25Speaker 9: hospital and has since been released. Officers arrested a number
- 18:29Speaker 9: of people at the scene. A motive for the attack
- 18:33Speaker 9: is still being investigated, but the Department of Homeland Security
- 18:36Speaker 9: said a group of more than a dozen people had
- 18:39Speaker 9: slashed tires of federal vehicles and damaged security cameras.
- 18:44Speaker 3: At the ice facility.
- 18:45Speaker 9: There was also another attack on an ICE facility in Portland, Oregon,
- 18:50Speaker 9: Friday night, a facility that has been the site of
- 18:53Speaker 9: an ongoing protest for several weeks. Deputy Attorney General Todd
- 18:57Speaker 9: Blanche wrote on X Saturday morning, quote, we are closely
- 19:01Speaker 9: monitoring the attacks on DHS detention facilities in Prayerland, Texas
- 19:06Speaker 9: and Portland, Oregon, and are coordinating with the USAOs and.
- 19:11Speaker 3: Our law enforcement partners.
- 19:13Speaker 9: The Department has zero tolerance for assaults on federal officers
- 19:18Speaker 9: or property and will bring the full weight of the
- 19:21Speaker 9: law against those responsible.
- 19:23Speaker 3: Now both at tax Daana.
- 19:24Speaker 9: Happened on the day President Trump signed his domestic policy
- 19:29Speaker 9: bill into law, a bill, of course, that includes some
- 19:31Speaker 9: forty five billion dollars to expand the capacity of immigration
- 19:36Speaker 9: detention centers and thirty one billion for ICE operations.
- 19:41Speaker 3: Dana.
- 19:42Speaker 2: All right, Jonathan Hunt.
- 19:44Speaker 1: By the way, let's just stop there with that report
- 19:46Speaker 1: for a second. You look at that report and you
- 19:51Speaker 1: listen to it. I think it's pretty clear this is
- 19:54Speaker 1: a coordinated effort nationwide by the radical left to go
- 19:57Speaker 1: after ICE agents to make them feel unsafe. This is
- 20:02Speaker 1: happening on a regular basis. Now we are seeing more
- 20:05Speaker 1: and more headlines of these ICE agents that are being
- 20:08Speaker 1: targeted and attacked. And I think this is another example
- 20:13Speaker 1: of how the left is willing to use violence at
- 20:17Speaker 1: all costs to try to stop things they don't like.
- 20:20Speaker 1: They're used to this type of violence. They got used
- 20:23Speaker 1: to it with a summer of rage. They got used
- 20:26Speaker 1: to it, and now it's like their go to like,
- 20:28Speaker 1: Hey we don't like something, let's burn a city down.
- 20:31Speaker 1: Hey we don't like what's happening with ICE. Let's go
- 20:33Speaker 1: and attack the facilities where the ICE agents go. Let's
- 20:36Speaker 1: make people be afraid to do their jobs. And by
- 20:40Speaker 1: the way, Democratic leadership, I'm going to leave you with
- 20:43Speaker 1: this thought.
- 20:44Speaker 2: Notice how quiet they are on this.
- 20:47Speaker 1: The leadership of the Democratic Party is not out there
- 20:49Speaker 1: condemning these attacks. They're saying nothing. Why because it coming
- 20:54Speaker 1: from within their own party. We are also hearing now
- 20:59Speaker 1: from the White House, and this is a very big
- 21:01Speaker 1: move that should make many of you extremely excited that
- 21:05Speaker 1: now illegal immigrants are barred from head start in other
- 21:09Speaker 1: federal government programs which were clearly enticing them to come
- 21:13Speaker 1: to the United States of America. Immigrants who are in
- 21:16Speaker 1: the country illegally will no longer. The White House said,
- 21:19Speaker 1: be allowed to access the head Start early childhood education
- 21:22Speaker 1: programs so their children, many of them use it as
- 21:24Speaker 1: childcare daycare, as well as other federal programs that you
- 21:28Speaker 1: and I are paying for. The Department of Health and
- 21:31Speaker 1: Human Services, Agriculture, and Labor all came through and said
- 21:36Speaker 1: they have issued notice to the relevant program partners under
- 21:39Speaker 1: their watch to clarify the administration's interpretation of what falls
- 21:43Speaker 1: under federal public benefit. The Wall Street Journal is reporting,
- 21:48Speaker 1: according to the HHS guidelines, people in the United States
- 21:52Speaker 1: of America illegally will be barred not only from sending
- 21:56Speaker 1: their children to head Start, but but will also be
- 21:58Speaker 1: denied access to other program including assistance for the homeless,
- 22:03Speaker 1: Title nine, family planning, mental health services, and substance abuse treatment.
- 22:09Speaker 1: Why should we be paying for people to go to
- 22:11Speaker 1: these things outside the United States of America that have
- 22:14Speaker 1: broken into this country now? By discussing the issue, the
- 22:18Speaker 1: Health and Human Services Secretary RFK. Junior said he is
- 22:21Speaker 1: resending an interpretation of the nineteen ninety six Personal Responsibility
- 22:27Speaker 1: and Work Opportunity Reconciliation Act, which improperly extended certain federal
- 22:32Speaker 1: benefits to illegal immigrants. What has happened is now that
- 22:36Speaker 1: is enticing people to come across our borders illegally because
- 22:39Speaker 1: once they get here, they get so much aid from
- 22:42Speaker 1: our government after they break in. While immigrants who do
- 22:46Speaker 1: not have legal status do not qualify for quote most
- 22:49Speaker 1: federal benefits. Many of the programs affected have not been
- 22:53Speaker 1: asking their participants about their immigration status. So that's why
- 22:58Speaker 1: so many illegal immigrants are on food stamps and other
- 23:00Speaker 1: things like that. They qualify them not by asset if
- 23:03Speaker 1: they're in illegal, but through income and quote other verification methods.
- 23:08Speaker 1: That's how the system has become abused and broken. Now
- 23:12Speaker 1: the new policy is set to take effect immediately, an
- 23:15Speaker 1: HHS spokesman said the Department of Agriculture, pointing to guidance
- 23:19Speaker 1: issued in April that sought to prohibit immigrants who are
- 23:22Speaker 1: in the United States illegally from also getting US food stamps,
- 23:26Speaker 1: affirms its position that they quote should not receive government dollars. Again,
- 23:32Speaker 1: it entices people to break our laws. Shortly after taking office,
- 23:36Speaker 1: President Trump directed agencies to identify relevant programs and issued
- 23:41Speaker 1: an executive order to prevent immigrants in the US without
- 23:45Speaker 1: legal permission from getting benefits funded by the taxpayers. This is,
- 23:50Speaker 1: by the way, what I and so many other Americans
- 23:51Speaker 1: actually voted for. And then, in negotiations over the Trump
- 23:55Speaker 1: sponsored megabills signed to law on July fourth, the White
- 23:58Speaker 1: House promise that the president would use more executive actions
- 24:02Speaker 1: aimed at illegal immigration to make sure that your tax
- 24:06Speaker 1: dollars are not going to illegals. Now, I'm in favor
- 24:09Speaker 1: of this. This is why I voted for Trump. This
- 24:10Speaker 1: is why I supported Trump. This is why millions and
- 24:13Speaker 1: millions of Americans voted for Trump. And they shouldn't back
- 24:16Speaker 1: down on this at all. Okay, like this should be
- 24:19Speaker 1: one hundred percent happening period. One hundred percent happening period.
- 24:27Speaker 2: Game over.
- 24:28Speaker 4: Now.
- 24:28Speaker 2: Let me also just say one more thing. The left has.
- 24:30Speaker 1: Already started this. They're saying that these moves are gonna
- 24:33Speaker 1: be Republicans. There's going to be hell to pay for
- 24:35Speaker 1: this in the elections, and the kids are gonna die
- 24:37Speaker 1: and people are gonna starve to death. A.
- 24:40Speaker 2: That's not gonna happen. B.
- 24:42Speaker 1: If you can't survive here because you're breaking the laws
- 24:45Speaker 1: and we're calling you out for it, then let me
- 24:49Speaker 1: also say this, you can go back to the country
- 24:51Speaker 1: you came from. If your life is so bad that
- 24:54Speaker 1: you're going to quote unquote starve to death, as Democrats
- 24:56Speaker 1: are going to say, because the American people are not
- 24:58Speaker 1: going to pay for your food when you broke into
- 25:00Speaker 1: our country, then you can go home to the country
- 25:06Speaker 1: that you came from.
- 25:08Speaker 2: That is not meant to be mean. That is the
- 25:12Speaker 2: reality of the situation.
- 25:16Speaker 1: And I am so tired of the left every time
- 25:19Speaker 1: you try to have low ord like, oh, well, someone's
- 25:20Speaker 1: gonna die. People are gonna die, everybody's gonna die. All
- 25:22Speaker 1: the people are gonna die. Everybody's gonna die. Like No,
- 25:26Speaker 1: that's not how this works. We need to have law
- 25:29Speaker 1: and order, and this is what Americans voted for. I'm
- 25:32Speaker 1: not backing down on that, and I hope you're not either.
- 25:35Speaker 1: Let me just remind you of just how many, as
- 25:38Speaker 1: Donald Trump would put it, bad ombres that there are
- 25:41Speaker 1: out there in this country among us because of a
- 25:44Speaker 1: wide open southern border. There was a new warning that
- 25:49Speaker 1: came from Tom Homan on the arrest of an MS thirteen,
- 25:53Speaker 1: not just gang member, but a kingpin in Nebraska. Perez
- 25:59Speaker 1: on else set Salvador's one hundred most wanted list. This
- 26:04Speaker 1: is how bad of a guy this is is one
- 26:06Speaker 1: of those that came into the country illegally. And Tom
- 26:09Speaker 1: Homan reminding people what's happening right now in America. This
- 26:13Speaker 1: is in a border state. It's Nebraska. If you don't
- 26:15Speaker 1: believe me, go look at a damn map and see
- 26:17Speaker 1: where Nebraska is. And if you think that illegal immigrants
- 26:20Speaker 1: are only on the southern border and MS thirteen gang
- 26:23Speaker 1: members and trains zeal Aga gang members are only at
- 26:25Speaker 1: the border, you are wrong. They have set up shop
- 26:28Speaker 1: in every state in America, and Nebraska is a pretty
- 26:31Speaker 1: far distance from the border.
- 26:33Speaker 2: Listen to this all right.
- 26:35Speaker 10: Back to the breaking news that we brought you earlier
- 26:37Speaker 10: this hour, ICE agents arrested an MS thirteen kingpin in Nebraska.
- 26:42Speaker 10: He has now been identified as Melvin Varella Perez.
- 26:45Speaker 3: He has been on.
- 26:46Speaker 10: El Salvador's most wanted list for nearly a decade, but
- 26:51Speaker 10: was somehow released into the United States after he crossed
- 26:54Speaker 10: the border illegally in twenty twenty three. Let's bring in
- 26:57Speaker 10: White House borders are Tom Homan. Tom Lebby just put
- 27:00Speaker 10: put up the record here of this guy that somehow
- 27:03Speaker 10: got missed. First of all, here's the mugshot from his
- 27:05Speaker 10: arrest in Oklahoma. In Oklahoma, now here is the our
- 27:12Speaker 10: Oma hunter braskepts are. Here is the picture from twenty sixteen.
- 27:16Speaker 10: This was put out by the National Police. He's on
- 27:19Speaker 10: the top one hundred Los one hundred mas Buscados. Then
- 27:23Speaker 10: here's another notice from twenty nineteen looking for the same guy,
- 27:27Speaker 10: and another one from twenty nineteen that was put out
- 27:30Speaker 10: by crime stoppers looking for this guy. And yet somehow
- 27:34Speaker 10: Tom when he came across the border illegally in twenty
- 27:37Speaker 10: twenty three, he was paroled into the country. How in
- 27:41Speaker 10: the world could that have happened.
- 27:46Speaker 5: Well, look, this is just one example of what I've
- 27:48Speaker 5: been saying for the last four years. The Biden administration
- 27:51Speaker 5: lights the American people when they said everybody they released
- 27:54Speaker 5: in the country is property vetted.
- 27:55Speaker 4: They weren't. No.
- 27:57Speaker 5: I know, first of all, we don't have access to
- 27:59Speaker 5: the countries criminal data. But as you said, this was
- 28:02Speaker 5: the public information and this has been easily found.
- 28:05Speaker 4: But this administration their main focus.
- 28:08Speaker 5: Under Biden administration, Borbito had one directive process quick release
- 28:13Speaker 5: quick because if there's no overcrowding, we can keep claiming
- 28:16Speaker 5: the border secure. And we got control of everything and
- 28:19Speaker 5: they kept lying to the American people. Everybody releases vetted.
- 28:22Speaker 5: I can't tell you how many criminals under the Trump
- 28:24Speaker 5: administration we have arrested and reported that were released in
- 28:29Speaker 5: the country by Joe Biden saying they were vetted. We
- 28:31Speaker 5: have arrested murders, people that wanted they were convicted murdered
- 28:34Speaker 5: other countries. If people had murdered warrants in other countries,
- 28:37Speaker 5: people had sexual assaults in other countries, people had sexual
- 28:41Speaker 5: assaults here that they weren't problem during the betting process
- 28:44Speaker 5: because they weren't vetted.
- 28:46Speaker 4: The last administration lied.
- 28:47Speaker 5: And that's why we're so busy right now going across
- 28:50Speaker 5: the country trying to.
- 28:50Speaker 4: Find these people.
- 28:52Speaker 10: All right, so I could go you one better on this.
- 28:54Speaker 10: Melvin Virella Perez. So he was nailed in Omaha with
- 28:58Speaker 10: another guy named Renee esq Bar of Choah. We'll put
- 29:01Speaker 10: his picture up on the screen for you. This guy
- 29:03Speaker 10: had an Interpol red notice against him for drug trafficking
- 29:09Speaker 10: and conspiracy to commit murder. He had an Interpoll notice
- 29:13Speaker 10: against him and that got missed.
- 29:15Speaker 3: How does that happen?
- 29:18Speaker 4: In confidence?
- 29:19Speaker 5: I mean it incomments from last administration, they're directed to
- 29:24Speaker 5: how borbital process and releases with rail proper vetting. And also,
- 29:28Speaker 5: let's remember Ice was told by second TERMI Orchis, you
- 29:31Speaker 5: can't arrest for some of them, and her illegalis they
- 29:34Speaker 5: probably weren't even looking this person unless you had a
- 29:35Speaker 5: serious criminal conviction, not a warrant, not a want, but
- 29:39Speaker 5: a conviction. So look at the last administration, they totally
- 29:43Speaker 5: screwed it up, from releasing people from the border a
- 29:45Speaker 5: non vetting to.
- 29:46Speaker 4: Tying ICE's hands.
- 29:47Speaker 5: We had a record number ten point five minute illegal
- 29:50Speaker 5: amags come to our border and Joe Biden Ice had
- 29:52Speaker 5: the lowest numbers of arresting movements in the history of
- 29:55Speaker 5: the agency because her hands were tied. And that's why
- 29:57Speaker 5: we're working so hard under President Trump, under his leadership,
- 30:01Speaker 5: we're working so hard written now saying as many teams
- 30:03Speaker 5: out in the community as possible to look for these
- 30:06Speaker 5: criminals that the last administration released in this country.
- 30:09Speaker 4: And that's why we're so busy right now.
- 30:10Speaker 5: That's where you see all the teams out in every
- 30:12Speaker 5: major city in the nation.
- 30:15Speaker 1: You know, this kills the narrative that so many in
- 30:17Speaker 1: the left in the media are trying to do, is say, oh,
- 30:19Speaker 1: there's no bad people. They're all just good people.
- 30:22Speaker 2: Look.
- 30:22Speaker 1: ICE agents arresting two more migrants with m as certeen
- 30:27Speaker 1: ties in Nebraska. We're just hearing about right now. The
- 30:31Speaker 1: US Immigration comes in enforcement agents today and I just
- 30:35Speaker 1: got this sentiment. Arrested two alleged members the Amster Team
- 30:37Speaker 1: Game gang and Omaha, Nebraska. They're accused of giving orders
- 30:42Speaker 1: to fellow gang members to commit a variety of crimes,
- 30:44Speaker 1: including multiple homicides, multiple extortion plots, imprisonment, and drug trafficking,
- 30:50Speaker 1: according to the newest release. The ICE release says they
- 30:54Speaker 1: are criminal aliens and there's amiserteen gang members and foreign
- 30:57Speaker 1: terrorists also now wanted in El South.
- 31:00Speaker 2: So it's not just the one guy that you heard about.
- 31:02Speaker 2: There's more.
- 31:03Speaker 1: ICE did not release the names of the men taken
- 31:06Speaker 1: into CUSSI. The law enforcement agency said these are more
- 31:10Speaker 1: high ranking members who are also on El Salvador's top
- 31:14Speaker 1: one hundred most wanted fugitives. Both of the individuals, they
- 31:19Speaker 1: say are accused of entering the country illegally, according to
- 31:22Speaker 1: the release, saying, these legal aliens didn't just sneak into
- 31:24Speaker 1: our country. They brought with them a legacy of violenced
- 31:28Speaker 1: tearor and death. That is what the ICE hoomand Security
- 31:31Speaker 1: Investigation Special Agents in charge of Kansas City said, saying
- 31:35Speaker 1: this They thought they could hide in America's Hartland, but
- 31:39Speaker 1: they were sadly mistaken. Not on our watch. The rest coming,
- 31:43Speaker 1: by the way, as the Trump administration is ramping up
- 31:45Speaker 1: their efforts to detain immigrants without legal status who have
- 31:49Speaker 1: committed crimes and deter migrants from illegally entering the US.
- 31:53Speaker 1: The effort also has sparked quote unquote backlash and some
- 31:57Speaker 1: sanctuary states and cities where local leaders have pledged to
- 32:02Speaker 1: not cooperate with immigration authorities. It is part of a
- 32:07Speaker 1: mass deportation effort. The Trump administration says that the American
- 32:10Speaker 1: beople voted for it, by the way I did. ICE
- 32:13Speaker 1: officers are ordered by notice of this truth to do
- 32:18Speaker 1: all in their power to achieve the very important goal
- 32:21Speaker 1: of delivering the single largest mass deportation program in history.
- 32:25Speaker 1: That is what President Trump wrote in a post on
- 32:27Speaker 1: True Social So he's not backing.
- 32:29Speaker 2: Down on this at all.
- 32:31Speaker 1: Now, while all this is happening, I'm going to play
- 32:33Speaker 1: something for you that's going to make you laugh. I
- 32:37Speaker 1: was yesterday on Fox Business Channel talking about a movie,
- 32:42Speaker 1: the new Superman movie that's coming out, and the new
- 32:45Speaker 1: Superman movie is all about wokeness. It is all about
- 32:50Speaker 1: saying that Superman, I'm not joking, is an illegal immigrant,
- 32:53Speaker 1: but a do gooder who's just doing good. So therefore,
- 32:55Speaker 1: why should anybody not wanted to be in this country.
- 32:58Speaker 1: I'm not joking. This is actually what they're saying in
- 33:01Speaker 1: the movie. There are scenes about this, like he's like,
- 33:03Speaker 1: but I'm just a good guy doing good things, trying
- 33:05Speaker 1: to imply that only people, the only people that come
- 33:08Speaker 1: across the southern border are good people. Well, I want
- 33:12Speaker 1: you to hear what I had to say on Fox
- 33:13Speaker 1: Business about this new movie and why you shouldn't go
- 33:16Speaker 1: see Superman, because all you're gonna do is be supporting
- 33:19Speaker 1: this liberal crap.
- 33:20Speaker 7: Love the fact that you've got a movie that's coming.
- 33:23Speaker 1: Out that they want everyone to go see that was
- 33:27Speaker 1: made for everyone. But it's just a lecture for a
- 33:30Speaker 1: couple hours on why half the country sucks and we
- 33:34Speaker 1: hate you if you voted for Donald Trump and you
- 33:36Speaker 1: want law and order in America, because remember, no bad
- 33:39Speaker 1: people ever come across the border. Right, He's a good guy.
- 33:42Speaker 1: In his own words, there, superman. I'm a good guy.
- 33:46Speaker 1: What are they trying to do? This is political propaganda
- 33:49Speaker 1: one I want. They're trying to imply that everyone that
- 33:51Speaker 1: comes across the southern border or the northern border is
- 33:54Speaker 1: a good.
- 33:54Speaker 7: Guy and we just love everyone.
- 33:56Speaker 1: Look, I love everyone as long as you're not a rapist,
- 33:59Speaker 1: child molester, you're selling illegal drugs, putting fentanyl into this country. Like,
- 34:04Speaker 1: give me a nice list that I can add to it,
- 34:06Speaker 1: and I'll sing your Kumbaya with you.
- 34:08Speaker 7: But I can promise you this, there are a.
- 34:10Speaker 1: Lot of people like me that aren't gonna go get
- 34:13Speaker 1: a lecture for two hours from a fake superman from Hollywood.
- 34:16Speaker 7: So good luck with your movie.
- 34:18Speaker 11: Yeah, well, well said you had thought that after Rachel
- 34:21Speaker 11: Zegler attacked President Trump and his supporters and tainted every
- 34:26Speaker 11: interview with woke ideology, you would think they would learn
- 34:30Speaker 11: from that snow White fiasco.
- 34:32Speaker 2: It earned eighty seven.
- 34:33Speaker 11: Million dollars in the United States two hundred million dollars worldwide,
- 34:38Speaker 11: but it's.
- 34:38Speaker 3: Still felt far short.
- 34:39Speaker 11: They spend two hundred and sixty nine million dollars building it.
- 34:43Speaker 7: Because they can't help themselves.
- 34:45Speaker 1: The amount of hatred we just saw this in the
- 34:48Speaker 1: flooding that happened in Texas where I am right now,
- 34:50Speaker 1: where there were people out there that are trying to
- 34:52Speaker 1: politicize everything and saying, well, if you are in that
- 34:55Speaker 1: part of the country.
- 34:56Speaker 7: They just flooded, you deserve what you got.
- 34:58Speaker 1: That's what a pediature Christian wrote on her on her
- 35:01Speaker 1: own web page about how much she has distained for
- 35:05Speaker 1: MAGA conservative voters. And so as long as Hollywood and
- 35:09Speaker 1: these elite on the left continue to demonize and wish
- 35:12Speaker 1: you will on people because we disagree with them politically,
- 35:15Speaker 1: don't expect me to take it. I'm not gonna give
- 35:18Speaker 1: you my money. I'm not gonna go to your movie.
- 35:21Speaker 1: I hope a bunch of people don't go to this movie.
- 35:23Speaker 1: And you know what the sad part is, even if
- 35:25Speaker 1: this movie and this Superman fells, I'm not sure they're
- 35:29Speaker 1: ever gonna stop dictating and lecturing what they say is
- 35:32Speaker 1: right and anyone else disagrees with them.
- 35:34Speaker 7: Clearly you're an evil person.
- 35:36Speaker 11: Look, I just want to go to the movies to
- 35:38Speaker 11: be entertained. I don't want your politics like I want
- 35:40Speaker 11: to go to a sporting event. I don't need to
- 35:42Speaker 11: be lectured and have your you know your whatever you
- 35:45Speaker 11: want to do, whatever agenda is. I just want to
