- 0:01Speaker 1: Well, welcome. It is verdict with Ted Cruz, Ben Ferguson
- 0:04Speaker 1: with you and Senator I got to say you were right,
- 0:07Speaker 1: but you were kind of like a really long, you know,
- 0:11Speaker 1: big cast that you said of a net over the timeframe.
- 0:15Speaker 1: You said that Canada and Mexico would cave in thirty
- 0:20Speaker 1: six days and it was only thirty six hours. Like,
- 0:23Speaker 1: I need you to narrow that window down next time.
- 0:26Speaker 2: Well, it was a stunning victory, a victory for the
- 0:28Speaker 2: United States, a victory for President Trump. We predicted on
- 0:31Speaker 2: Monday's podcast that the tariffs that have been announced against
- 0:35Speaker 2: Mexico and against Canada that they would be lifted, and
- 0:37Speaker 2: we predicted the reason they would be lifted is that
- 0:39Speaker 2: both Mexico and Canada would cave to President Trump's demands
- 0:44Speaker 2: and would lean in vigorously to help us secure our borders.
- 0:48Speaker 2: You're right, we got the timeframe wrong. I said that
- 0:50Speaker 2: within thirty six days the tariffs would be lifted. It was,
- 0:54Speaker 2: as you noted, thirty six hours. They immediately said, no,
- 0:58Speaker 2: we can't take these tariffs, will do whatever you want
- 1:01Speaker 2: to secure the border. It is a huge victory for
- 1:04Speaker 2: keeping America safe. Secondly, this week we had Prime Minister
- 1:07Speaker 2: net Yahoo from Israel in the United States meeting with
- 1:11Speaker 2: President Trump. President Trump directly made major news on multiple fronts,
- 1:16Speaker 2: including announcing that he was the United States is withdrawing
- 1:19Speaker 2: from the UN Human Rights Council, is cutting off funding
- 1:22Speaker 2: for UNRA, and President Trump addressed the threats of Iran
- 1:28Speaker 2: to try to assassinate him. It was it was powerful,
- 1:33Speaker 2: and it demonstrated real strength. And finally, Doge Elon Muskin. Doge,
- 1:38Speaker 2: I gotta say I'm excited about Doge. I'm excited about
- 1:40Speaker 2: what they're doing. They're already highlighting and going after incredible waste,
- 1:45Speaker 2: incredible abuse throughout our government system. And I got to
- 1:49Speaker 2: say that the Democrats are lighting their hair on fire.
- 1:52Speaker 2: They're running around in absolute terror. We're going to break
- 1:56Speaker 2: that all down for you.
- 1:57Speaker 1: I tell you, the pace that they are are getting
- 2:00Speaker 1: things done is one that is amazing. It's why we
- 2:04Speaker 1: love doing the show. So I will remind you make
- 2:07Speaker 1: sure you hit that subscribe or auto download button because
- 2:10Speaker 1: there is so much it's breaking. We don't want you
- 2:12Speaker 1: to miss a single episode. So hit that subscribe or
- 2:15Speaker 1: auto download button wherever you are listening to this podcast
- 2:18Speaker 1: right now, because we will be doing. I have a
- 2:20Speaker 1: feeling a lot of quote emergency pods when there is
- 2:23Speaker 1: really big breaking news on other days that are not
- 2:26Speaker 1: a normal day's Monday, Wednesday, Friday, that we do this show.
- 2:29Speaker 1: Let me take a moment and tell you about what's
- 2:31Speaker 1: happening in Israel. And after more than a year of war,
- 2:34Speaker 1: tear and pain in Israel, there is still a great
- 2:37Speaker 1: demand for basic humanitarian aid. The International Fellowship of Christians
- 2:41Speaker 1: and Jews has supported and continue to support those in
- 2:44Speaker 1: the Holy Land still facing the lingering horrors of war,
- 2:48Speaker 1: and those who are desperate for your help right now.
- 2:53Speaker 1: Your gift today will provide critically needed aid to communities
- 2:57Speaker 1: in North and the South devastate by this ongoing war.
- 3:01Speaker 1: Your generous donation will help deliver help to those in need,
- 3:04Speaker 1: including evacuees and refugees from the war torn areas, first
- 3:09Speaker 1: responders and volunteers, and wounded soldiers, elderly Holocaust survivors, families
- 3:15Speaker 1: who have lost loved ones and lost all of their belongings.
- 3:19Speaker 1: And that is where you can give hope during this
- 3:22Speaker 1: time of incredible uncertainty. So to give a gift to
- 3:25Speaker 1: bless Israel and her people, you can do that by
- 3:29Speaker 1: visiting SUPPORTIFCJ dot org. That is one word support IFCJ
- 3:37Speaker 1: dot org. You can also call them eight eight eight
- 3:41Speaker 1: four eight eight IFCJ. That's eight eight eight four eight
- 3:46Speaker 1: eight if CJ eighty eight four eight eight four three
- 3:50Speaker 1: two five are support IFCJ dot org. So, Senator, we
- 3:55Speaker 1: talked about this, and you said it spot on. Donald
- 3:59Speaker 1: Trump knew what he was doing with the tariffs. He
- 4:01Speaker 1: knew not a five percent or ten percent or twelve
- 4:04Speaker 1: percent tariff was probably not going to get it done.
- 4:06Speaker 1: He needed to go heavy handed. He went twenty five
- 4:09Speaker 1: percent on Mexico, twenty five percent on Canada, and he
- 4:12Speaker 1: didn't flinch. He signed the executive order and said, you know,
- 4:15Speaker 1: you remove Canada, you remove Mexico, and both countries not
- 4:19Speaker 1: only do they flinch, but they said, let us help
- 4:22Speaker 1: you secure the border and stop the flow of fetnah
- 4:24Speaker 1: at the same time.
- 4:25Speaker 2: Well, and one of the things to understand, we talked
- 4:28Speaker 2: about this at length and Monday's podcast. I think there's
- 4:31Speaker 2: a real difference between the tariffs President Trump announced on
- 4:34Speaker 2: Mexico and Canada and the tariffs he announced on China.
- 4:39Speaker 2: The tariffs on Mexico and Canada President Trump uses tariffs
- 4:43Speaker 2: as leverage to get concessions on other issues that matter
- 4:47Speaker 2: to America, and I think with Mexico and Canada, that's
- 4:49Speaker 2: what he was doing. Separately, President Trump also believes in tariffs.
- 4:53Speaker 2: He believes in them as a source of revenue for
- 4:56Speaker 2: the federal government, and he believes in them in terms
- 4:59Speaker 2: of supporting US manufactury and production. And what we said
- 5:04Speaker 2: on Monday's podcast is the Chinese tariffs, the ten percent
- 5:08Speaker 2: tariffs I believe will continue the entire Trump presidency. They
- 5:11Speaker 2: may even go higher. That's an additional ten percent on
- 5:14Speaker 2: Chinese goods, above and beyond the existing tariffs that I
- 5:19Speaker 2: expect to be long standing Trump policy. The Mexican and
- 5:24Speaker 2: Canadian tariffs, and it was twenty five percent on all
- 5:26Speaker 2: Mexican goods, twenty five percent on all Canadian goods except
- 5:29Speaker 2: for energy exports and energy exports from Canada, it was
- 5:33Speaker 2: just ten percent. That was designed, as I said on Monday,
- 5:37Speaker 2: to bring Canada and Mexico to the bargaining table and
- 5:43Speaker 2: to force them to make real concessions. And what I
- 5:46Speaker 2: predicted is they would do that, and in particular that
- 5:49Speaker 2: Mexico would deploy thousands of troops to the border to
- 5:53Speaker 2: help us secure the border. Well within hours on Monday,
- 5:57Speaker 2: President Claudia Shinbaum, the president of mexicounce that she'd struck
- 6:01Speaker 2: a deal with Trump to pause the tariffs only for
- 6:04Speaker 2: a month, so he hasn't eliminated them from a possibility,
- 6:07Speaker 2: but he's paused them for a month in exchange for
- 6:09Speaker 2: her promise to number one, deploy ten thousand Mexican troops
- 6:15Speaker 2: to secure the border, and number two to tighten cooperation
- 6:19Speaker 2: on drugs and weapony trafficking, and number three to further
- 6:22Speaker 2: negotiations on border security and trade. And so that was
- 6:24Speaker 2: the concession that Mexico made. Canada made similar concessions. Canada
- 6:30Speaker 2: said likewise that they were going to lean in and
- 6:32Speaker 2: assist on stopping illegal immigration across our northern border. They
- 6:37Speaker 2: were going to lean in and join us in fighting
- 6:40Speaker 2: against fentanyl trafficking. And Canada did the same thing. Canada
- 6:45Speaker 2: put out an announcement that they were implementing a one
- 6:48Speaker 2: point three billion dollar border plan with new choppers, technology, personnel,
- 6:55Speaker 2: and they said that they're also deploying ten thousand frontline
- 7:00Speaker 2: personnels working on protecting the border and beyond that, Canada's
- 7:06Speaker 2: prime Minister said that he's going to appoint a feentanyl
- 7:09Speaker 2: czar to lead the fight against vtanyl, and Canada also
- 7:14Speaker 2: designated the Mexican drug cartels as terrorists, and a Canada
- 7:20Speaker 2: US joint strike force was launched a fight organized crime
- 7:25Speaker 2: and fentanyl and Monday laundering. What happened with both Mexico
- 7:29Speaker 2: and Canada is exactly what the President anticipated.
- 7:33Speaker 3: Now.
- 7:33Speaker 2: To be clear, the President delayed these tariffs only for
- 7:36Speaker 2: a month. I think that is very much embodying Reagan's
- 7:40Speaker 2: old adage of trust but verify. Okay, they've committed to
- 7:43Speaker 2: lean in and help. Now they need to do it
- 7:45Speaker 2: if they don't want these tariffs to go into effect.
- 7:48Speaker 2: And look, the tariffs, if they went into effect, they
- 7:51Speaker 2: would hurt US consumers, but they'd hurt Canada and Mexico
- 7:54Speaker 2: much more because their trade with US US is a
- 7:58Speaker 2: much much bigger percentage of their economy than it is
- 8:00Speaker 2: the other way around. And that's why Trump's threat produced
- 8:05Speaker 2: such rapid action.
- 8:06Speaker 1: You talk about a trend, and in government we see
- 8:09Speaker 1: a lot of what I refer to as kind of
- 8:12Speaker 1: BS fluff press releases of bipartisan this or we're gonna
- 8:17Speaker 1: get this done and we see a lot of that happen,
- 8:19Speaker 1: certainly for the last four years in the Biden Harris administration,
- 8:22Speaker 1: where you name things like you know that you're gonna
- 8:24Speaker 1: do and fix and everything's gonna be amazing, and nothing
- 8:28Speaker 1: comes of it. These announcements that are happening. I mean,
- 8:32Speaker 1: you want to talk about significant, real change is happening
- 8:38Speaker 1: with with these countries and what we're doing. Just looking
- 8:41Speaker 1: at the aspect of hey, we're gonna help you stop
- 8:44Speaker 1: fetnyl coming into your country, and we're gonna work with you,
- 8:47Speaker 1: and we're gonna do all of these things, and we're
- 8:49Speaker 1: gonna put money in resources. This is a significant win
- 8:53Speaker 1: for keeping people safe in this country from the drugs
- 8:56Speaker 1: as well.
- 8:58Speaker 2: It is and you know today in the said Judiciary Committee,
- 9:01Speaker 2: we had a hearing on the fetanyhl crisis, and over
- 9:04Speaker 2: one hundred thousand Americans died last year of drug overdoses.
- 9:09Speaker 2: It is an enormous crisis and we've got to stop it.
- 9:12Speaker 2: The vast majority of it is coming across our southern border.
- 9:15Speaker 2: It's coming from China, it's coming from Mexican drug cartels.
- 9:19Speaker 2: A significant part of it is coming from Canada as well,
- 9:22Speaker 2: and so I think what the President is do doing
- 9:25Speaker 2: is he's acting on the mandate from the voters. The
- 9:28Speaker 2: voters want a secure border, and he's acting on it.
- 9:30Speaker 2: And I got to say a lot of the pundits
- 9:32Speaker 2: that they got very upset at these threatened tariffs. I'll
- 9:37Speaker 2: note this is exactly the strategy President Trump employed in
- 9:40Speaker 2: his first term and his first term when he threatened
- 9:42Speaker 2: twenty five percent tariffs against Mexico. I expressed real concerns
- 9:46Speaker 2: that if he implemented those tariffs, it would hurt Texas
- 9:50Speaker 2: and hurt America. It would, but what we saw is
- 9:54Speaker 2: that Mexico blinked that in the face of the threat,
- 9:57Speaker 2: it proved to be leveraged. So this time around, I
- 10:00Speaker 2: was not dismayed by the threat because we'd seen that
- 10:03Speaker 2: it produced success, and it produced success again, although this
- 10:06Speaker 2: time it produced success even faster than you and I
- 10:10Speaker 2: had predicted.
- 10:11Speaker 1: One other question on this, and that is moving forward,
- 10:15Speaker 1: what message does this send to other countries that we
- 10:19Speaker 1: may be going into negotiations with Things are changing quickly.
- 10:23Speaker 1: This isn't just a success on the standpoint of our
- 10:27Speaker 1: northern southern border. This is going to have huge ramifications
- 10:31Speaker 1: for other countries. The thing they can mess with us.
- 10:34Speaker 2: Yeah, Look, there is a credibility of deterrence. One of
- 10:38Speaker 2: the real differences. When Joe Biden was president. Our enemies
- 10:41Speaker 2: were not afraid of him. They didn't fear him, Our
- 10:43Speaker 2: allies didn't trust him. Nobody thought he was a credible threat.
- 10:48Speaker 2: And that's one of the reasons why our enemies walked
- 10:50Speaker 2: all over us all over the country. That when you
- 10:52Speaker 2: have weakness in the commander in chief, it makes America
- 10:55Speaker 2: at much greater peril. With Donald Trump, our enemies are
- 10:59Speaker 2: terrified of and even our friends and allies they understand
- 11:03Speaker 2: that when he makes a threat, he'll follow through on
- 11:07Speaker 2: that threat.
- 11:08Speaker 4: And that.
- 11:10Speaker 2: Credibility is incredibly valuable. If America is going to be
- 11:14Speaker 2: fighting and negotiating to advance American interest, it is important
- 11:18Speaker 2: for other countries to understand that the president will follow
- 11:22Speaker 2: through on what he says he will. And I think
- 11:24Speaker 2: this past week really underscores it. And you put it
- 11:27Speaker 2: on top of what happened last week with Columbia, where
- 11:30Speaker 2: Columbia said we're not going to take illegal aliens that
- 11:34Speaker 2: are coming back to Columbia from America, and Trump immediately
- 11:38Speaker 2: did the same thing. He announced twenty five percent tariffs.
- 11:40Speaker 2: He said he'd ratchet it up to fifty percent shortly thereafter,
- 11:44Speaker 2: and Columbia caved within eight hours. That credibility. The next
- 11:49Speaker 2: time we're in a showdown with a foreign country, they're
- 11:51Speaker 2: going to understand that President Trump is not bluffing.
- 11:55Speaker 1: And this brings us back to national security and an
- 11:58Speaker 1: international issue, and it deals with Iran. And I want
- 12:02Speaker 1: to move to that because Donald Trump says that he
- 12:06Speaker 1: was asked in the Oval office. In fact, I just
- 12:08Speaker 1: want to play it about these real threats from Iran
- 12:11Speaker 1: on his life. And this is what he said in response.
- 12:16Speaker 5: Why so, if you're I'm happy to sign it. If
- 12:18Speaker 5: it's Iran and their proseeas who threaten to retaliate against
- 12:23Speaker 5: you and your team, like killing you guys or taking out.
- 12:26Speaker 6: A fall, well they haven't done that, and that would
- 12:32Speaker 6: be a terrible thing for them to do, not because
- 12:34Speaker 6: of me. If they did that, they would be obliterated.
- 12:37Speaker 6: That would be the end. I've left instructions. If they
- 12:40Speaker 6: do it, they get obliterated, there won't be anything left
- 12:45Speaker 6: and they shouldn't be able to do it. And Biden
- 12:47Speaker 6: should have said that, but he never did. I don't
- 12:49Speaker 6: know what lack of intelligence perhaps, but he never said it.
- 12:54Speaker 6: If that happens to a leader or close to a leader, Frankly,
- 12:59Speaker 6: if you had other people involved also, you would call
- 13:03Speaker 6: for total obliteration of a state that data. That would
- 13:06Speaker 6: include Iran. So I'm signing this and it's a very
- 13:09Speaker 6: powerful document, but hopefully we're not going to have to
- 13:12Speaker 6: use it.
- 13:14Speaker 1: That was a pretty interesting and I would also say
- 13:17Speaker 1: historic moment in this presidency the second term. He's making
- 13:22Speaker 1: it very clear not only can we block i Ranian
- 13:25Speaker 1: oil sales as he was talking about and ratching that up,
- 13:28Speaker 1: but if they come after me or my people like it,
- 13:30Speaker 1: first of all, they take me out, their whole country's gone.
- 13:33Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 13:34Speaker 2: Look, and I think that was exactly the right thing
- 13:36Speaker 2: to say. But I think it's also important to understand,
- 13:40Speaker 2: you know, as we start this second Trump term, there
- 13:42Speaker 2: are a lot of people that are trying to read
- 13:44Speaker 2: their own policy agendas onto the Trump administration. When it
- 13:48Speaker 2: comes to foreign policy, You and I on this podcast
- 13:50Speaker 2: have talked a lot about how Republican foreign policy is
- 13:55Speaker 2: divided really into two camps. You have the isolationists who
- 13:58Speaker 2: want to withdraw back behind our borders and ignore the
- 14:02Speaker 2: rest of the world. And you have the interventionists, who
- 14:06Speaker 2: I think have never seen a country they didn't want
- 14:08Speaker 2: to invade, and a lot of people when they think
- 14:11Speaker 2: of Republican foreign policy, they think in a very binary term,
- 14:13Speaker 2: you're either an isolationist or you're an interventionist. Now, I've
- 14:18Speaker 2: long rejected both of those camps. I think both of
- 14:21Speaker 2: them are wrong. I describe myself as a non interventionist hawk.
- 14:27Speaker 2: What that means is I think we should be exceptionally
- 14:29Speaker 2: reluctant to use US military force. I don't want to
- 14:32Speaker 2: send our sons and daughters into combat unless absolutely necessary.
- 14:37Speaker 2: The only reason to do so should be to protect
- 14:40Speaker 2: the vital national security interests of the United States, to
- 14:42Speaker 2: keep American safe. That means we should be incredibly reluctant
- 14:47Speaker 2: to invade other countries. It's worth noting in eight years,
- 14:51Speaker 2: the biggest country Ronald Reagan ever invaded was Grenada. But
- 14:55Speaker 2: there are some people who have been saying in this
- 14:57Speaker 2: second Trump term that trumpup's foreign policy is isolationist, that
- 15:02Speaker 2: he's just withdrawing from everything, And it's worth noting that
- 15:05Speaker 2: was not Trump's policy the first term. He killed General Solomony,
- 15:09Speaker 2: the leader in Iran, who was responsible for murdering over
- 15:12Speaker 2: six hundred American servicemen and women. Killing General Solomony was
- 15:16Speaker 2: exactly the right thing to do. And I got to
- 15:18Speaker 2: say President Trump's foreign policy the first term very much
- 15:23Speaker 2: was the coterminous with my philosophy of being a non
- 15:29Speaker 2: interventionist talk and that's not entirely an accident. I spent
- 15:33Speaker 2: thousands of hours talking with President Trump and urging him
- 15:37Speaker 2: to make the foreign policy decisions that he did. This
- 15:41Speaker 2: is exactly right when it comes to Iran. A nuclear
- 15:45Speaker 2: Iran I think is an existential threat to Israel. I
- 15:47Speaker 2: think it is a enormous threat to America. And an
- 15:52Speaker 2: Iran threatening to murder the president of the United States
- 15:55Speaker 2: Trump is right. The way you respond to that is
- 15:58Speaker 2: with absolute credit deterrence that they will be obliterated. And
- 16:03Speaker 2: for everyone that wants to read isolationism onto President Trump,
- 16:07Speaker 2: I think today illustrates that is not where he is.
- 16:10Speaker 1: Yeah, that's a great point. And we talked about this,
- 16:13Speaker 1: and let's go back to this kind of American first
- 16:16Speaker 1: policy and looking at where our dollars are going. If
- 16:18Speaker 1: there's anything that we're seeing a trend and a theme
- 16:20Speaker 1: coming out of the first two weeks of the of
- 16:22Speaker 1: the Trump administration is that they're saying, we're going to
- 16:25Speaker 1: stand up for your tax dollars. We're going to make
- 16:27Speaker 1: sure they're not being abused or send to people that
- 16:29Speaker 1: are actively working against the United States of America. If
- 16:32Speaker 1: you're new to this show, we really did a lot
- 16:36Speaker 1: on deep dives on the money that goes to UNRA
- 16:41Speaker 1: and where this money was going not just against our interests,
- 16:45Speaker 1: but we're going towards people that were clearly terrorists. We
- 16:49Speaker 1: talked about it, we exposed it on this show. I
- 16:52Speaker 1: would encourage people go back and find those episodes and
- 16:54Speaker 1: listen to them. If you haven't subscribed the show, this
- 16:57Speaker 1: is when you hit that button right now because this
- 16:59Speaker 1: is something we talk about Wayne advance, and now months
- 17:03Speaker 1: after we talked about it, President Trump has signed an
- 17:06Speaker 1: executive order withdrawing from anti American UN organizations. This is incredible.
- 17:11Speaker 2: Well, this is a president and a commander in chief
- 17:14Speaker 2: who is standing up for America and standing up to
- 17:16Speaker 2: anti American institutions. The UN Human Rights Council has been
- 17:20Speaker 2: viciously anti American, viciously anti Israel. UNRA look was complicit
- 17:26Speaker 2: in funding Hamas terrorist. In fact, they had actual Hamas
- 17:29Speaker 2: terrorists on their payroll. And so the President rightly withdrew
- 17:33Speaker 2: America from the UN Human Rights Council, but also cut
- 17:37Speaker 2: off funding American funding for UNRA. That was exactly the
- 17:40Speaker 2: right thing to do. He was asked about that today
- 17:42Speaker 2: at the White House, and listen to what President Trump
- 17:45Speaker 2: said on this.
- 17:46Speaker 5: In light of numerous actions taken by a number of
- 17:49Speaker 5: bodies of the United Nations which exhibit a deep anti
- 17:53Speaker 5: American bias, we have an executive order prepared for your
- 17:56Speaker 5: attention that would withdraw the United States from the UN
- 18:00Speaker 5: Human Rights Council, would withdraw the United States from the UNRWA,
- 18:05Speaker 5: which is a refugee organization, and would also review American
- 18:10Speaker 5: involvement in UNESCO, which has also exhibited anti American bias.
- 18:15Speaker 4: More generally, the executive order calls for a review of
- 18:19Speaker 4: American involvement and funding in the UN in light of
- 18:23Speaker 4: the wild disparities and levels of funding among different countries that,
- 18:28Speaker 4: as you've expressed previously, as deeply unfair to the United States.
- 18:33Speaker 1: So I've always.
- 18:34Speaker 6: Felt that the UN has tremendous potential. It's not living
- 18:38Speaker 6: up to that potential right now. It really isn't hasn't
- 18:41Speaker 6: for a long time. There are great hopes for it,
- 18:46Speaker 6: but it's not being well run, to be honest, and
- 18:51Speaker 6: they're not doing the job. A lot of these conflicts
- 18:53Speaker 6: that we're work in on should be settled, or at
- 18:56Speaker 6: least we should have some help in settling, and we
- 18:58Speaker 6: never seem to get help. That should be the primary
- 19:01Speaker 6: purpose of the UN, the United Nations, and again it's
- 19:05Speaker 6: got great potential and based on the potential, will continue
- 19:08Speaker 6: to go along with it. But they've got to get
- 19:10Speaker 6: their act together.
- 19:17Speaker 3: What would they need to be prey good.
- 19:18Speaker 6: That well, they've got to be fair to countries that
- 19:21Speaker 6: preserve fairness. They have some countries as you know.
- 19:25Speaker 7: That are outliers that are very bad and they're being
- 19:29Speaker 7: almost preferred as countries to those that do their job
- 19:34Speaker 7: and doing a good job, and they have to really,
- 19:38Speaker 7: they're going to end up losing a lot of countries.
- 19:39Speaker 6: They're going to end up losing their credibility like other organizations,
- 19:42Speaker 6: and then they're going to be nothing. The potential of
- 19:45Speaker 6: the United Nations, and not everybody is with man is
- 19:49Speaker 6: the potential of the United Nations is fantastic if properly run.
- 19:54Speaker 6: So we'll see what happens.
- 19:56Speaker 1: I mean, you hear him. He's telling the world, you
- 19:59Speaker 1: mess with with us, you screw with us, and you
- 20:01Speaker 1: and you have organizations that are corrupt like this, don't
- 20:04Speaker 1: expect America to stay involved, no matter what the president
- 20:07Speaker 1: has been beforehand.
- 20:09Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 20:09Speaker 2: Look, we're not going to foot the bill. We're not
- 20:11Speaker 2: going to write the checks to fund people that are
- 20:13Speaker 2: actively undermining Americans, that are undermining our allies. And this
- 20:17Speaker 2: is this is creating an incentive. It's creating an incentive
- 20:20Speaker 2: number one, for our allies to stand with America, that
- 20:23Speaker 2: there's upside to standing with the United States. But at
- 20:26Speaker 2: number two, it's creating real disincentives for our enemies to
- 20:29Speaker 2: move against us because there are real consequences, negative consequences,
- 20:33Speaker 2: And that's what a president should do. And I got
- 20:36Speaker 2: a note, Ben, every single thing Donald Trump is doing
- 20:41Speaker 2: is one hundred and eighty degrees the opposite of what
- 20:43Speaker 2: Joe Biden did. Joe Biden undermined our allies and showed
- 20:47Speaker 2: weakness and appeasement to our enemies. And it's why the
- 20:50Speaker 2: foreign policy and national security scene became such an utter mess,
- 20:55Speaker 2: utter chaos, wars across the globe because weakness doesn't work,
- 21:00Speaker 2: and this is President Trump demonstrating strength. That's what we
- 21:05Speaker 2: want and expect in our president.
- 21:06Speaker 1: Well, we may have won the selection, the fight to
- 21:08Speaker 1: restore our great nation is only beginning, and now is

- 22:39Speaker 1: seven two Patriot. Finally, this one was a big one
- 22:43Speaker 1: Senator and it got a lot of attention. I'm glad
- 22:48Speaker 1: that it got a lot of attention people that listen
- 22:50Speaker 1: to the show, and conservatives out there said, okay, let's
- 22:54Speaker 1: let everybody know where your tax dours is going. After
- 22:57Speaker 1: Elon Mussin doge yet again blowing the whistle they're gonna,
- 23:01Speaker 1: I mean, they got to be exhausted because they're finding
- 23:03Speaker 1: so much waste, fraud, in abuse in our government. And
- 23:09Speaker 1: a perfect example of this is US A I D.
- 23:12Speaker 1: And some of the abuse that they found walk us
- 23:15Speaker 1: through it.
- 23:15Speaker 2: Well, I gotta say Elon Musk is doing a fantastic job.
- 23:18Speaker 2: He is working around the clock at at DOGE and
- 23:22Speaker 2: and really focused on on reining in government spending and
- 23:25Speaker 2: reining in the absolute abuse, the abuse that you would
- 23:28Speaker 2: never see in a private company, but but yet in
- 23:32Speaker 2: government is is commonplace. And it is a result of
- 23:35Speaker 2: politicians funding their their their own political hobbyhorse, their own
- 23:40Speaker 2: political pet project. And and so I got to say,
- 23:43Speaker 2: what one of the areas that that that Doge in
- 23:45Speaker 2: the new White House has done is freeze funding at
- 23:49Speaker 2: us A I D. And And Democrats in the media
- 23:51Speaker 2: have been losing their minds over this, have been lighting
- 23:55Speaker 2: their hair on fire. In fact, a bunch of Democrats
- 23:57Speaker 2: went to the USA I D offices to storm the
- 24:00Speaker 2: offices this week, which was really pretty ridiculous. But but
- 24:03Speaker 2: but they're really they're very very upset about it.
- 24:06Speaker 1: They're now set, by the way about the abuse of
- 24:08Speaker 1: the money in the fraud. Then they're just they're just
- 24:10Speaker 1: upset that they've lost their power. Right, Well, they're upset
- 24:13Speaker 1: that the abuse is stopping. But you know, when reporters
- 24:17Speaker 1: have asked me about it, I've said, listen, uh, the
- 24:20Speaker 1: president got a mandate from the American people. And part
- 24:23Speaker 1: of the mandate is to stop the out of control
- 24:25Speaker 1: spending in debt and usai D engages in all sorts
- 24:29Speaker 1: of abuse.
- 24:29Speaker 2: Let me give you some of the examples. USI ai
- 24:32Speaker 2: D spent one point five million dollars for advancing DEI
- 24:38Speaker 2: in Serbia's workplaces. They spent two million dollars for sex
- 24:44Speaker 2: changes in Guatemala. They spent six million dollars for tourism
- 24:50Speaker 2: in Egypt. They paid for quote hundreds of thousands of
- 24:55Speaker 2: meals that went to al Qaeda affiliated fighters in They
- 25:02Speaker 2: gave funding for the production of opium, the primary ingredient
- 25:06Speaker 2: in heroin in Afghanistan, which benefited the Taliban. Yeah, they
- 25:13Speaker 2: spent one million dollars to help disabled people in Tajikistan
- 25:19Speaker 2: become quote climate leaders. They spent one million dollars for
- 25:25Speaker 2: Hamas linked charity. And they spent fifteen million dollars for
- 25:31Speaker 2: contraceptives and condoms in Taliban controlled Afghanistan. This is all nonsense.
- 25:39Speaker 2: This is a waste, and there's a reason Elon Musk
- 25:42Speaker 2: is going after it. There's a reason President Trump is
- 25:44Speaker 2: going after it, and there's a reason Democrats in the
- 25:46Speaker 2: press are horrified that this gravy train is stopping.
- 25:52Speaker 1: It is a gravy train, and it's a very very
- 25:54Speaker 1: big one that's costing taxpayers massive amounts of money. Elon
- 25:58Speaker 1: Musk said early on that he thought there was probably
- 26:01Speaker 1: like ten percent waste in our government. He's now changing
- 26:04Speaker 1: those numbers. I want to get your reaction. He's saying
- 26:06Speaker 1: it could be well above twenty percent.
- 26:09Speaker 2: Yeah, there's massive waste, and it is by design. Understand,
- 26:14Speaker 2: it's not just that they picked things out of a hat.
- 26:16Speaker 2: These are all ideological. This is the agenda of the
- 26:20Speaker 2: radical left. They're funding the agenda of the radical left.
- 26:23Speaker 2: But it shouldn't be the taxpayers paying for this nonsense.
- 26:26Speaker 2: And let me give you an example of one of
- 26:28Speaker 2: the ones that I found frankly funniest. AOC Alexandria Keja
- 26:33Speaker 2: Cortez went off on Elon Musk this week, and listen
- 26:39Speaker 2: to what she says. Her argument is that Elon Musk
- 26:43Speaker 2: is a dummy. Give a listen, This dude.
- 26:47Speaker 3: Is probably one of the most unintelligent billionaires I have
- 26:50Speaker 3: ever met or seen are witnessed, which you know, you
- 26:57Speaker 3: can probably even glean that from watching these people on TV. Anyways,
- 27:02Speaker 3: all of that is to say is that they don't
- 27:04Speaker 3: do their homework. Clearly like they're putting nineteen year olds
- 27:09Speaker 3: in at the Treasury. This dude is not smart, and
- 27:15Speaker 3: the danger in not in the lack of intelligence and
- 27:18Speaker 3: the lack of expertise that Elon has. I mean, this
- 27:23Speaker 3: guy is one of the most morally vacant but also
- 27:30Speaker 3: just least knowledgeable about these systems that we really know of.
- 27:39Speaker 3: But the point is is that what that means is
- 27:42Speaker 3: that they're going to hit a button. Inevitably, they are
- 27:47Speaker 3: going to hit a button and things can go silent.
- 27:52Speaker 1: I mean, this is one of those moments where you
- 27:54Speaker 1: actually get to watch that, you know what, the sausage
- 27:58Speaker 1: being made in her brain's making it up and pausing
- 28:02Speaker 1: as she goes to try to figure out a way
- 28:04Speaker 1: to hit a guy that's having massive success at saving
- 28:07Speaker 1: taxpayers dollars.
- 28:08Speaker 2: Look, I gotta say I laughed out loud when I
- 28:12Speaker 2: listened to that and watch that. It should be a
- 28:16Speaker 2: Saturday Night Live skit. Of course, Saturdayight Live wouldn't actually
- 28:19Speaker 2: make fun of liberals, so they wouldn't show it. But listen,
- 28:23Speaker 2: you can criticize Elon Musk on all sorts of fronts
- 28:26Speaker 2: but the one front you can't criticize him on is
- 28:29Speaker 2: being a dummy. I've spent a ton of time with Elon. Listen,
- 28:33Speaker 2: I've been blessed, Ben. I have known a lot of
- 28:36Speaker 2: brilliant people. I've known antonin Scalia and Clarence Thomas and
- 28:41Speaker 2: Chief Justice William Renquist. I have known brilliant, brilliant scientists
- 28:47Speaker 2: and world leaders. And I believe Elon Musk, this is,
- 28:51Speaker 2: without exaggeration, is the most brilliant man I've ever met.
- 28:54Speaker 2: And I've spent a lot of time with Elon. If
- 28:57Speaker 2: you think about the distribution of intelligence, you assume roughly
- 29:01Speaker 2: eight billion people on planet Earth. Intelligence is distributed along
- 29:04Speaker 2: a bell curve. Someone is at the bleeding edge of
- 29:08Speaker 2: that bell curve, and I think Elon Musk is that person.
- 29:11Speaker 2: And I mean I've sat with him for two three,
- 29:13Speaker 2: three and a half hours talking with him, and it's
- 29:15Speaker 2: fascinating watching his brain work. Because the guy, it's not
- 29:20Speaker 2: even that he thinks outside the box. He doesn't know
- 29:22Speaker 2: there is a box. And and so listening to AOC
- 29:28Speaker 2: say he's unintelligent, I got to say, it reminded me
- 29:31Speaker 2: of a scene from from my favorite movie with this
- 29:36Speaker 2: one and so give a listen to what AOC was saying.
- 29:41Speaker 2: And she was really she was channeling Vissini. Give a listen.
- 29:44Speaker 3: Yeah, that's smart. Let me put it this way.
- 29:46Speaker 2: Have you ever heard of Plato, Aristotle, Socrates? Yes, morons really,
- 29:53Speaker 2: so that's AOC. Plato, Aristotle, Socrates, Elon Musk morons, AOC.
- 30:03Speaker 2: She knows what's right.
- 30:05Speaker 1: There, you go, don't forget. We do the show Monday, Wednesday, Friday.

- 30:25Speaker 1: charts and the show moves up, people see it and

- 30:30Speaker 1: in this country. That's when we ask you to do that,
- 30:32Speaker 1: and the Senate and I will see you back here
- 30:34Speaker 1: in a couple of days.
