- 2:16Speaker 1: How amazing is that? How good has God been to me?
- 2:23Speaker 1: How good has he been to you? Just check yourself sometimes,
- 2:27Speaker 1: just sit up, Just let's run a survey. Just look
- 2:30Speaker 1: at your life where it's at. It might not be
- 2:33Speaker 1: where you wanted to be, but that's probably some decisions
- 2:35Speaker 1: you made. But really, though, in spite of all the
- 2:39Speaker 1: crazy mistakes out have made, I mean, man, I I
- 2:45Speaker 1: look back at some of the decisions I didn't came
- 2:47Speaker 1: up with, and and and man, it's it's it's just
- 2:49Speaker 1: amazing he let me live. I mean, it's it's and
- 2:53Speaker 1: and and to exist the way I exist, that's nothing
- 2:56Speaker 1: but grace, mercy, favor all that is. That's my mama
- 3:00Speaker 1: praying for me when I wasn't praying for myself. That
- 3:03Speaker 1: had to be it, because, man, I can truly tell
- 3:05Speaker 1: you I have made enough mistakes man, stuff you would
- 3:10Speaker 1: never even know about, and recovered from them all you
- 3:16Speaker 1: can too, And I don't care what you've done. Marvin
- 3:20Speaker 1: Sapp has a song out that says he saw the
- 3:22Speaker 1: best in me when everyone else around me could only
- 3:27Speaker 1: see the worst in me. You know that that's an
- 3:30Speaker 1: important song man, especially. You know. I want to talk
- 3:34Speaker 1: to men today because man, being a man is so
- 3:42Speaker 1: so difficult. Please, no, it has been my quest ever
- 3:47Speaker 1: since I was a little boy. My father had one ambition, son,
- 3:52Speaker 1: I don't care what you do. Both. When I get
- 3:55Speaker 1: through raising you, you will be a man. That's all
- 3:59Speaker 1: I want you to be. Never cared what I did
- 4:01Speaker 1: for a living, and it never made a difference to him.
- 4:04Speaker 1: You're going to be a man. Manhood is difficult. Now, ladies,
- 4:07Speaker 1: just listening to this, I'm not saying womanhood, ain't. I
- 4:11Speaker 1: don't know what it takes to be a woman, So
- 4:13Speaker 1: you know, I'm I'm but I do know exactly what
- 4:16Speaker 1: it takes to be a man. So you know, sometimes
- 4:19Speaker 1: when you talk to people on the radio, you have
- 4:21Speaker 1: to preface things because people are just go he trying
- 4:24Speaker 1: to make it look like womanhood. Ain't. No, That's not
- 4:27Speaker 1: what I'm doing. I'm just talking to men today to
- 4:30Speaker 1: explain to them that damned by the self and struggling
- 4:33Speaker 1: trying to figure this thing out, that you are not
- 4:35Speaker 1: alone in your quest for manhood. That is difficult, even
- 4:39Speaker 1: though it's interesting. Yesterday, the Dating Game guy, he said
- 4:42Speaker 1: the reason I didn't get to say this on the air,
- 4:44Speaker 1: but I read his profile. He said one of the
- 4:47Speaker 1: reasons he was still single because he was trying to
- 4:49Speaker 1: find himself as a man. He was forted too. But
- 4:53Speaker 1: I'm I gotta I go. I gotta tell you, man
- 4:56Speaker 1: um manhood is that kind of difficult, and it comes
- 5:00Speaker 1: even more compounded if a young boy does not have
- 5:04Speaker 1: a male role model. I've said it a thousand times,
- 5:07Speaker 1: I'll say it again. A young boy without a male
- 5:11Speaker 1: role model is like an explorer without a map. Well,
- 5:15Speaker 1: I have a suggestion for everybody that's struggling with manhood
- 5:18Speaker 1: and all of the men out there that are men.
- 5:21Speaker 1: This messages for all of us, and it's for me too.
- 5:24Speaker 1: You know. I was listening to Jorge Myers the other
- 5:27Speaker 1: day and um, she made a statement, she said, sometimes
- 5:31Speaker 1: you gotta do the right thing even when it feels wrong.
- 5:35Speaker 1: You know. One of the difficulties of manhood is pure
- 5:40Speaker 1: pressure and the misguided principles of manhood. See what God
- 5:47Speaker 1: wants us to be as men and what we believe
- 5:51Speaker 1: manhood it is is sometimes two different things. Give you
- 5:55Speaker 1: an example. I wrote this book for women, right and
- 5:59Speaker 1: I was telling them the three ways that a man
- 6:01Speaker 1: shows his love, and I call him three p's. We profess,
- 6:06Speaker 1: we protect, and we provide. Every man who is a man,
- 6:10Speaker 1: that's how he exhibits love. We're not talkie talkie comforting
- 6:15Speaker 1: with our great nurturers. But when it comes down to
- 6:18Speaker 1: do it, what we all want to do, what is
- 6:20Speaker 1: in our day DNA, is to profess our love for
- 6:23Speaker 1: something you as a woman, to protect you as a woman,
- 6:26Speaker 1: and to provide for you as a woman. That's in
- 6:28Speaker 1: our DNA. Now, sometimes that gets messed up and I'll
- 6:32Speaker 1: give you an example. Sometimes when a boy doesn't have
- 6:36Speaker 1: the proper, real role model in his life, he takes
- 6:39Speaker 1: that principle of love that we all possess in us
- 6:41Speaker 1: every man, the professing part, the protecting and a in
- 6:45Speaker 1: a in a providing part, and we misplay it. That's
- 6:48Speaker 1: why gangs exist. Gangs exist off those three principles. What's
- 6:54Speaker 1: the first thing a gang member do. He professed? He
- 6:57Speaker 1: claim a hood. That's the first thing you do. That's
- 6:59Speaker 1: my neighborhood. I'm duce tray, I'm triple h, I'm due
- 7:03Speaker 1: de dude, I'm purple, I'm I'm red, I'm blue. The
- 7:06Speaker 1: first thing they do is claim. That's professing. That's how
- 7:09Speaker 1: we show our love. But it's misguided though. Now we're
- 7:13Speaker 1: professing something that ain't even good for us. Your hood,
- 7:17Speaker 1: your game, your click now guess what. Now we got
- 7:21Speaker 1: to protect it. So now as a protection part of
- 7:25Speaker 1: our love, here we go. You come down here, we're
- 7:29Speaker 1: gonna do this to you. You go over there, they're
- 7:31Speaker 1: gonna do that to you. You protect your hood. This
- 7:34Speaker 1: is your turf, this all you got. You ain't nobody
- 7:36Speaker 1: coming down here with blue owned. Can anybody come over
- 7:38Speaker 1: here with red on. You can't come over here with
- 7:40Speaker 1: purple on. You can't come over here with black and
- 7:42Speaker 1: gold on. And we and we protect that because that's
- 7:45Speaker 1: in our DA name. And then what's the third thing
- 7:48Speaker 1: we provide? So guess what the game need money? Guess
- 7:51Speaker 1: what we do. We're selling drugs, We're selling women, we're
- 7:56Speaker 1: selling guns. It go back to the same a man.
- 8:00Speaker 1: I don't know how God gave it to me that
- 8:02Speaker 1: way when I was writing a book, but he showed
- 8:04Speaker 1: it to me along the way. That's how men love well.
- 8:07Speaker 1: When you don't have a role model in your life,
- 8:08Speaker 1: guess what not that love is misplaced, it's misguided, it's
- 8:12Speaker 1: off track. Ain't no man told you that. Really you're
- 8:15Speaker 1: supposed to take this love and give it to a woman.
- 8:17Speaker 1: You're really supposed to profess, protect and provide for a woman,
- 8:21Speaker 1: not your gang set. Now you're professing your hood, repping
- 8:25Speaker 1: a color, you're protecting your territory, shooting people driving by
- 8:29Speaker 1: coming over you on your street. And then you provide.
- 8:31Speaker 1: Now you are here selling drugs and guns for the
- 8:33Speaker 1: same thing. When a board does not have a male
- 8:36Speaker 1: role model, he has a misguided way of looking at manhood.
- 8:42Speaker 1: The reason I'm saying is today is cause fellas, this
- 8:45Speaker 1: is what I'm saying. Core tripping yourself out, man and
- 8:49Speaker 1: find out the type of man God wants you to be.
- 8:52Speaker 1: Here's the deal. See, God created all of us in
- 8:55Speaker 1: his image. That means He's put some of our DNA
- 8:59Speaker 1: in him. That's why it's in your DNA to profess,
- 9:02Speaker 1: protect and provide. Because guess what, that's what God do
- 9:06Speaker 1: for us, because we his children. God provides for us,
- 9:11Speaker 1: He protects us, and he professes his love for us.
- 9:15Speaker 1: He claims us, He died on the cross for us.
- 9:18Speaker 1: He done all that for us. I'm just talking to
- 9:21Speaker 1: me and right now, you don't want to be in
- 9:23Speaker 1: your house when the when the cop knocking on the dope.
- 9:26Speaker 1: You want to be laying there pc when my doorbell
- 9:28Speaker 1: rang and go answer because thein't no police coming over here,
- 9:31Speaker 1: cause I ain't done nothing for them to come. You
- 9:33Speaker 1: can't go to your dough like that when you got
- 9:35Speaker 1: weed in the back, you got crack in the back,
- 9:38Speaker 1: you got cocaine in the back. You can't go answering
- 9:40Speaker 1: your dough. You hear that, you gotta start flushing tarlets
- 9:45Speaker 1: and stuff. Man, that's crazy. I'm just telling you, man,
- 9:48Speaker 1: I had to wake up about five years ago. I
- 9:51Speaker 1: wasn't doing what God wanted me to do, and then
- 9:54Speaker 1: he shook me. He said, Man, I'm gonna bring about
- 9:56Speaker 1: some changes in your life. I'm gonna cause some things
- 9:59Speaker 1: to happen that's gonna put you in a position. And
- 10:01Speaker 1: this time you're gonna listen to me, because if you don't,
- 10:05Speaker 1: you're gonna keep living in this pain you've been in.
- 10:07Speaker 1: But you put yourself in this pain. I owe no
- 10:10Speaker 1: blame to no one else but myself. Please know. I
- 10:13Speaker 1: know that. And that's how we really get to manhood.
- 10:16Speaker 1: When you figure out what you hadn't done wrong. You
- 10:18Speaker 1: can't blame this on none of your exes because you
- 10:21Speaker 1: are a man. You can't go my ex dear this. No, No,
- 10:24Speaker 1: you're a man. Partner. You gotta take responsibility for yours
- 10:28Speaker 1: and yours alone. If you got kids, you got to
- 10:31Speaker 1: get to him some kind of way. Write him a letter,
- 10:34Speaker 1: send them the money. If she won't let you see it,
- 10:36Speaker 1: for the money, whatever, send the money to a mama.
- 10:39Speaker 1: Do what you're supposed to do as a man. Do
- 10:42Speaker 1: what God wants you to do. Man, because he's not
- 10:45Speaker 1: letting us off the hook for what we're supposed to
- 10:48Speaker 1: be just because you ain't doing it. And if you
- 10:50Speaker 1: do it, you turn your life around. Just holding that
- 10:53Speaker 1: the fellas today, that's all sorry about that. You're listening
- 11:00Speaker 1: and gentlemen, boys and girls, people from all around the world,
- 11:03Speaker 1: you're listening to the baddest morning show in the lane,
- 11:07Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Today. We open on a
- 11:11Speaker 1: somber note, man, because it's just been so much going
- 11:15Speaker 1: on in this world we live in today. Um, really sad, Steve,
- 11:21Speaker 1: I mean unbelievably sad. The deadliest. Yeah, it's the deadliest
- 11:29Speaker 1: mass shooting in US history. Absolutely, can you believe? So sad?
- 11:33Speaker 1: I mean this is really you know, people go to
- 11:37Speaker 1: a concert to have a good time, be with their
- 11:40Speaker 1: friends and families, see their artists, the artists that they love,
- 11:44Speaker 1: and you know, the next minute you're running for your
- 11:48Speaker 1: life and you don't know to run to where? Yeah?
- 11:53Speaker 1: And where is this coming from? From? Where? Yeah? You
- 11:57Speaker 1: know it's who. Why? Yeah, that's the biggest question of
- 12:03Speaker 1: them all, Steve. Why why would someone do this? Why
- 12:07Speaker 1: would someone uh reserve a hotel suite on last Thursday? Yeah?
- 12:13Speaker 1: And and carry in all these guns, take a hammer
- 12:17Speaker 1: to break out the windows in the hotel. Yeah, resort
- 12:23Speaker 1: and casino. The hotel we all know very well. A
- 12:26Speaker 1: city that we love and know very well, Vegas. We
- 12:29Speaker 1: were all just there last weekend for the I Heart
- 12:31Speaker 1: Music Festival. You know, I mean, why would someone That
- 12:35Speaker 1: is the biggest question. And you know, no one has
- 12:38Speaker 1: answered that except to say that, you know, the more
- 12:42Speaker 1: they search, the more weapons they find and explosives that
- 12:45Speaker 1: they find, you know, just a arsenal of AMMO guns
- 12:51Speaker 1: and and explosions. This this man, it's just unspeakable. Seventeen
- 12:58Speaker 1: guns found in his hotel room. And you know, I'm
- 13:01Speaker 1: gonna sound like a broken record all day long, say it,
- 13:06Speaker 1: say it, but we have been screaming for gun laws
- 13:10Speaker 1: in this country. Control, but there is no reason for
- 13:15Speaker 1: a human being to own an assault rifle that can
- 13:21Speaker 1: get off more than six to eight rounds. And you're
- 13:25Speaker 1: so not used to that sound. That's why people thought
- 13:28Speaker 1: it was firecrackers and things like that. The shot right that,
- 13:33Speaker 1: that's what they thought. They thought it was part of
- 13:35Speaker 1: the festival to hear that noise. They weren't aware. And
- 13:38Speaker 1: you don't think that you don't think that that's happening.
- 13:41Speaker 1: And your wildest imagination, you don't think that at an
- 13:46Speaker 1: outdoor festival that's something like that would happen. And then,
- 13:49Speaker 1: you know, Steve, there's always that other side, but it's
- 13:51Speaker 1: too soon to talk about it now. But it's like,
- 13:54Speaker 1: if not now, when do we talk about gun control?
- 13:57Speaker 1: When do we do something about it? You know? Or
- 14:00Speaker 1: are these things going to keep happening? When is enough?
- 14:06Speaker 1: And you know, the sad part about to see is
- 14:09Speaker 1: all you know what we're gonna do is discussing. And
- 14:15Speaker 1: you know it's sad because it don't bring nobody back.
- 14:21Speaker 1: It don't give us no answers. You can't ever ask
- 14:25Speaker 1: these foods why because they end up dead. Yeah, and
- 14:29Speaker 1: so you know, it's just a day of uh and
- 14:33Speaker 1: this is crazy. Yeah, we'll be back. We have to
- 14:36Speaker 1: go to commercial break right now, Steve. We'll be back
- 14:38Speaker 1: at thirty two after you're listening too. And many people,
- 14:44Speaker 1: as we've been discussing across the country, are just still
- 14:48Speaker 1: stunned and shocked and in awe about the tragic news
- 14:51Speaker 1: of this deadly mass shooting at at the country music
- 14:55Speaker 1: festival in Vegas. So many people were killed. More than
- 14:59Speaker 1: five at five hundred people were injured. The incident happened
- 15:03Speaker 1: during the Root ninety one Harvest Festival concert, and according
- 15:06Speaker 1: to various reports, the gunfire began um you know, while
- 15:12Speaker 1: Jason Aldan I should say that was the headliner, was
- 15:15Speaker 1: on stage, and many people thought it sounded like fireworks.
- 15:18Speaker 1: They soon realized, as we were saying earlier, something very
- 15:21Speaker 1: different was going on. Witnesses say that the sound appeared
- 15:25Speaker 1: to be coming from the Mandalais Bay Resort and casino,
- 15:28Speaker 1: and that the shooting was downward into the crowd below.
- 15:32Speaker 1: That's another thing, you know, the elevation, you know of
- 15:36Speaker 1: it all. He it wasn't. Yeah, he wasn't at ground
- 15:40Speaker 1: level like like you know, a lot of the other
- 15:42Speaker 1: UM incidents have been. This is someone above you shooting
- 15:46Speaker 1: down on you, which is really horrible, you know, shooting
- 15:50Speaker 1: down into the crowd below. I know, it's just unthinkable.
- 15:55Speaker 1: President Trump addressed the nation following the mass shooting. The
- 15:58Speaker 1: President was somber, he really was, as he sought to
- 16:02Speaker 1: strike notes of grief, unity, and hope. Take a listen.
- 16:06Speaker 1: Hundreds of our fellow citizens are now mourning the sudden
- 16:09Speaker 1: loss of a loved one, a parent, a child, a
- 16:13Speaker 1: brother or sister. We cannot fathom their pain. We cannot
- 16:17Speaker 1: imagine their loss. To the families of the victims, we
- 16:22Speaker 1: are praying for you, and we are here for you,
- 16:26Speaker 1: and we asked God to help see you through this
- 16:30Speaker 1: very dark period. Yes, and the President also thank the
- 16:35Speaker 1: first responders because they were on it. They were really
- 16:39Speaker 1: on it in Vegas, I mean, and they had no
- 16:42Speaker 1: idea that they were going to be overwhelmed the way
- 16:47Speaker 1: they were when they arrived on the scene. So the
- 16:50Speaker 1: fact that how did he how did the gunman because
- 16:54Speaker 1: I haven't heard this discussion, how did he end up? Deed?
- 16:57Speaker 1: He killed him killed himselves. Yeah, he shot himself, shot himself. Yeah,
- 17:02Speaker 1: that's what I've been talking about. Man. Look, if you
- 17:04Speaker 1: go little you're sick of your life. Man, go somewhere
- 17:08Speaker 1: and be sick of your life. What is the killing
- 17:12Speaker 1: all these innocent people for? And it went on, they say,
- 17:16Speaker 1: for like ten to fifteen minutes, Steve just out there
- 17:19Speaker 1: just shooting, just you know, I mean, and then there
- 17:23Speaker 1: would be silence, then more shots would come, then silence,
- 17:26Speaker 1: then more shots will come. Yeah. How many people have
- 17:30Speaker 1: been pronounced? Uh? Well, at last count, it was fifty nine, yeah,
- 17:37Speaker 1: fifty nine, and then over five hundred and twenty seven
- 17:41Speaker 1: at last count were um were injured. It was twenty
- 17:44Speaker 1: two thousand people there. Yeah, people injured injured, Yeah, two
- 17:51Speaker 1: people though they crowd estimate at the concert. And what
- 17:57Speaker 1: I was also hearing was that when when the police
- 18:00Speaker 1: tried to get into the hotel to the Mandalaid Bay
- 18:04Speaker 1: trying to figure out where he was, you know, when
- 18:06Speaker 1: they looked up and saw that the spire, the smoke
- 18:10Speaker 1: detector and the hotel went off, went off because of
- 18:14Speaker 1: all of that, you know, and yeah, they were trying
- 18:18Speaker 1: to get into the hotel room and obviously that's when
- 18:21Speaker 1: they discovered he had killed himself, along with all of
- 18:25Speaker 1: this ammunition that he had around him, his arsenal of
- 18:28Speaker 1: firearm that he had. And you break the window out
- 18:32Speaker 1: at Mandalaide Bay. I used to hammer and it was
- 18:37Speaker 1: two windows he had that corner, Sweet Steve, and two
- 18:41Speaker 1: windows he broke. So they said he set up two
- 18:43Speaker 1: guns and you know, yeah that on a on a tripod,
- 18:48Speaker 1: and so he was going back and forth, back and forth,
- 18:52Speaker 1: just unbelievable. And then they went to his home he lived.
- 18:56Speaker 1: But I guess about eighty miles outside of Vegas, and
- 19:00Speaker 1: he had like eighteen additional firearms and explosives at his home. Yeah,
- 19:06Speaker 1: and Mesquite, Mesquite, Nevada. And then he has hired an
- 19:09Speaker 1: accountant and retired accounting. Uh, this man was Steve, and
- 19:13Speaker 1: he um gambled. He gambled a lot. He played a
- 19:18Speaker 1: hundred dollar poker hands. Were supposed to be pretty wealthy, right, Yeah,
- 19:21Speaker 1: he was comfortable, they said, he lived, you know, very
- 19:24Speaker 1: comfortable in a nice area and people are just in
- 19:28Speaker 1: a retirement community. Yeah, they don't understand what happened. You know,
- 19:33Speaker 1: he's never been in trouble with the law, so far
- 19:36Speaker 1: from what they're saying, he has never been in trouble
- 19:39Speaker 1: with the law. But his father, boy, his dad, Steve,
- 19:45Speaker 1: his dad was one of the FBI most wanted. He
- 19:47Speaker 1: was a bank robber. And yeah, so unbelievable. Yeah, unbelievable.
- 19:59Speaker 1: I'm will be honest with to you. I don't. I don't,
- 20:00Speaker 1: I don't. I don't really have a lot to say
- 20:04Speaker 1: because I'm just it's it's, you know, I'm I'm beating
- 20:07Speaker 1: a dead horse here. I keep saying gun control. I
- 20:11Speaker 1: keep saying gun control, we keep saying in police brutality.
- 20:16Speaker 1: We keep saying, we keep saying, We just keep saying, man,
- 20:22Speaker 1: and I'm I'm, I'm you know, I feel so horrible
- 20:25Speaker 1: for the families, for all the innocent people. Man just
- 20:30Speaker 1: out to have a nice time, and even some demented
- 20:34Speaker 1: but whole ain't got nothing going on right in his life,
- 20:38Speaker 1: got some demented thought and on the side to kill
- 20:40Speaker 1: a bunch of folks, just shoot into an open crowd.
- 20:43Speaker 1: I mean, just he it was like he was a
- 20:45Speaker 1: hunter and they were the prey and he just opened
- 20:48Speaker 1: fire on them for absolutely no reason. But but the
- 20:53Speaker 1: the first responders, I mean, all the people that are
- 20:56Speaker 1: working in the hospitals and the trauma centers because they
- 20:59Speaker 1: have to get people out of there, and you know,
- 21:02Speaker 1: to the hospitals. A lot of people died at the hospital.
- 21:06Speaker 1: Um you know that we're shot on the stage. Yeah,
- 21:09Speaker 1: coming just unbelievable, all right, Uh, well, coming up next,
- 21:14Speaker 1: Miss Anna is here with our national news and of
- 21:16Speaker 1: course the latest information from Las Vegas, and uh we'll
- 21:20Speaker 1: hear what she has to say, of course, and then
- 21:22Speaker 1: later on, of course. I mean, we know that things
- 21:25Speaker 1: happen in the world, but we're here to do our
- 21:27Speaker 1: job as well, and the show must go on, And
- 21:29Speaker 1: nephew Tommy is here with a prank phone call. You're
- 21:32Speaker 1: listening to show, all right? Coming up at the top
- 21:36Speaker 1: of the hour, Miss Anna is gonna be here with

- 22:19Speaker 1: Now here we are, we we're gonna die. We're gonna
- 22:23Speaker 1: dissect the frog, damn frog and the look now left,
- 22:27Speaker 1: we're gonna do Friday frog legs. I didn't see the
- 22:30Speaker 1: purpose of this because at no point in my life
- 22:34Speaker 1: am I ever gonna need no horse in the inside
- 22:37Speaker 1: biology class? You know that now, and that has never
- 22:40Speaker 1: come up. Dog never asked me nothing about the inside
- 22:44Speaker 1: and no damn frog. So I left the damn frog
- 22:48Speaker 1: that there wasn't deal with it. No mom in junior high. Hell, yeah,
- 22:52Speaker 1: I let the damn frog out. Man, they never did
- 22:56Speaker 1: find that the frogs out. She rather on you. That's crazy, Steve. Alright, nephew,
- 23:06Speaker 1: you're up with run that prankpack? What you got your
- 23:09Speaker 1: wife having a black baby having a black baby. That's
- 23:18Speaker 1: how you shocked white people, your wife having a black baby. Ye,
- 23:25Speaker 1: run it. Hello, Hello, I'm looking for a William. How
- 23:35Speaker 1: you doing. Listen, my name is Simmons. I was I
- 23:39Speaker 1: don't know how to Uh. Oh man. My wife and
- 23:43Speaker 1: I evidently go to the same um fertility specialist that
- 23:47Speaker 1: you and your wife go to Dr Doctor. You are
- 23:50Speaker 1: you familiar with doctor? I'm familiar with doctor. But that's
- 23:54Speaker 1: supposed to be confidential. Yeah, I'm gonna wear of that
- 23:56Speaker 1: as well, sir. My wife is out on business right now.
- 23:59Speaker 1: She gone for it, won't be back until Tuesday. But
- 24:02Speaker 1: I got a call today, very disturbing phone call, and
- 24:06Speaker 1: wanted to you know, I looked your number up. They
- 24:08Speaker 1: did tell me what was going on, and kind of
- 24:12Speaker 1: somebody told you my number you got You got my
- 24:14Speaker 1: number from somebody. No, I looked up your number here
- 24:19Speaker 1: here here it is the nut show. My wife and
- 24:21Speaker 1: I evidently you you and you and your wife have
- 24:24Speaker 1: been going through the same type of problems of trying
- 24:25Speaker 1: to get pregnant and so forth and so on, and uh.
- 24:29Speaker 1: For my understanding, your wife is what four or five
- 24:32Speaker 1: months pregnant? I'm not sure. Wait a minute. My wife
- 24:36Speaker 1: is exactly five months pregnant. But I'm still confused on
- 24:38Speaker 1: how you're getting in touch with me and what this
- 24:40Speaker 1: has to do with me. Well, I mean, all this
- 24:42Speaker 1: stuff that we've gone through is totally confidential, and I'm
- 24:44Speaker 1: kind of offended that you're calling me. I understand that. Well,
- 24:48Speaker 1: what's what's happening is, um, I got a phone call
- 24:50Speaker 1: from the doctor's office today. It seems like there's been
- 24:53Speaker 1: a huge mistake by the doctor's office. Evidently your wife
- 24:57Speaker 1: has been artificially and mainated with my seed. And I
- 25:04Speaker 1: was I mean, I'm just as disturbed as you are.
- 25:08Speaker 1: You know what I mean, because I mean me and
- 25:10Speaker 1: my wife. You know, my wife is two months pregnant
- 25:12Speaker 1: and finally, how can they do something like that? I
- 25:15Speaker 1: mean that doesn't make any sense. So I have no idea.
- 25:19Speaker 1: All I know is is that you know, I hate
- 25:22Speaker 1: to use the expression, but I'm I'm I'm your wife's
- 25:26Speaker 1: baby's daddy and and no, okkay, wait a minute, no, no, no, no,
- 25:34Speaker 1: sox that that didn't happen. That doesn't happen, no way.
- 25:38Speaker 1: So I'm trying to make sure I bring the news
- 25:40Speaker 1: to you and see if there's anything that we can
- 25:42Speaker 1: do to I mean, I mean, after being five months
- 25:44Speaker 1: pregnant is kind of hard to rectify the problem. So
- 25:47Speaker 1: I don't want this to sound rude, and I don't
- 25:48Speaker 1: want to sound wrong. You said, baby daddy, are you black? Yeah? Yeah, yeah,
- 25:54Speaker 1: yeah yeah black? And my wife is gonna have a
- 25:57Speaker 1: black baby. Well yeah, your wife, he is gonna have
- 25:59Speaker 1: a black baby. But what I want you to know
- 26:01Speaker 1: is I'm not paying no support. That's what you're about,
- 26:05Speaker 1: child support, and my wife is having some of the
- 26:08Speaker 1: black duds kid. Are you crazy? No, I'm not out. No,
- 26:13Speaker 1: I'm not out of my mind. I'm just saying I
- 26:15Speaker 1: didn't lay down and conceive a child with your with
- 26:18Speaker 1: your wife, So I'm making sure I'm not going to
- 26:21Speaker 1: be paying the child support. I'm not even worried about
- 26:24Speaker 1: the child support. I'll pay the doll support. I'm worried
- 26:27Speaker 1: about some doctor making a huge mistake. And and and
- 26:31Speaker 1: oh my god, your wife is happy to have a
- 26:34Speaker 1: black baby. I can't believe that this is unbelievable, believable,
- 26:39Speaker 1: and I can't believe you to give the doctor should
- 26:43Speaker 1: give me this? What don't you want it? It doesn't
- 26:46Speaker 1: matter who gives you the news. As long as you
- 26:48Speaker 1: get the news. Now, what I want you to do
- 26:49Speaker 1: with this? Please don't be giving the baby no white
- 26:52Speaker 1: names and stuff white names. I can't believe that. This
- 26:58Speaker 1: is incredible, incredible, Oh my gosh, call me on tending
- 27:04Speaker 1: to give me that. I'm ready to go crazy. This
- 27:06Speaker 1: is crazy. Okay, this, this is this is no reason
- 27:10Speaker 1: to be violent, sir. You see what I'm saying. This
- 27:12Speaker 1: is already made to be violent. You're worried about me
- 27:15Speaker 1: about paying child support and talking about your seed and
- 27:19Speaker 1: your baby's daddy, and oh man, this is this is
- 27:21Speaker 1: bringing the best out of me. I can promise you. Unbelievable. Man.
- 27:27Speaker 1: Let me let me ask you something. Do you think
- 27:28Speaker 1: you may need anger management? I mean, you're not gonna
- 27:32Speaker 1: you're gonna You're not gonna. You're not gonna beat my child,
- 27:35Speaker 1: are you? Oh? Man, you know how to push man's buttons.
- 27:42Speaker 1: I can promise you. Man, that's crazy. No, I ain't
- 27:45Speaker 1: gonna beat nobody's baby. I don't want you being violent
- 27:49Speaker 1: to me and your wife's baby. Oh spend this thing around.
- 27:54Speaker 1: Huh man, what do you live? Man? This it's this
- 28:00Speaker 1: because oh man, Well here's what I'm gonna ask, do
- 28:04Speaker 1: you think you might want to be the godfather to
- 28:07Speaker 1: the child to my own kid? No, I guess it
- 28:11Speaker 1: wouldn't be my kid because there's me and your wife's child.
- 28:15Speaker 1: Don't you say that, you crazy? Don't you say that
- 28:21Speaker 1: even thinking about something like that. It's me talk about
- 28:24Speaker 1: something like that, but it's me and your wife's child.
- 28:28Speaker 1: Thank so, don't you even talk like that, You're crazy?
- 28:32Speaker 1: Tear a hole in your head. Don't you talk like that. Okay, okay,
- 28:35Speaker 1: you're gonna tell a hold and who hey, in your head?
- 28:37Speaker 1: You're crazy? See that. This is the kind of thing
- 28:42Speaker 1: I don't want my child around this time, this type
- 28:46Speaker 1: of talk, this type of violence to your wife. Folks
- 28:48Speaker 1: get mad and want to kill everybody in the room.
- 28:50Speaker 1: What you kill? Who you mad at? Why do y'all
- 28:52Speaker 1: do that? This? Man? Can I can? I? Can I
- 28:57Speaker 1: say one more thing? Do you can I do that?
- 29:01Speaker 1: I don't know if I could take any more news
- 29:02Speaker 1: to me? Man jumped to the phone. I got one
- 29:05Speaker 1: more thing to say to you. This is Nephew Timing
- 29:07Speaker 1: from the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You just got pranked
- 29:11Speaker 1: by your wife. Oh I'm gonna I'm gonna kill that.
- 29:23Speaker 1: Oh it took a solo and try to give you
- 29:25Speaker 1: gonna play game like this? That's wrong. Got me, man,
- 29:29Speaker 1: You's freaking got me? Man. Yeah, we listened to Steve
- 29:31Speaker 1: Harvey radio show all the time. Man, that's awesome. You
- 29:34Speaker 1: guys are great. Oh man, I'm gonna go find her
- 29:37Speaker 1: and give her a big kiss. I'm gonna do that
- 29:39Speaker 1: for god. Man, I got one. I got one more
- 29:45Speaker 1: question for you, baby. What is the baddest radio show
- 29:48Speaker 1: in the land, The Steve Harvey Radio Show in the morning?
- 29:53Speaker 1: Oh my godbody's do you? Are you concerned for your nephew? All?
- 30:11Speaker 1: You got all the issues right? All right? Coming up next,
- 30:16Speaker 1: Miss Anna is here with our national news. We'll be
- 30:18Speaker 1: right back. You're listening to the stew alright, So um,
- 30:25Speaker 1: gun control, of course, you know, is a legitimate issue here.
- 30:29Speaker 1: We need action. We need gun control now. We don't
- 30:32Speaker 1: need to talk about bring politics into it anymore. I mean,
- 30:37Speaker 1: what is it going to take for us really to
- 30:40Speaker 1: deal with this issue like it needs to be dealt with?
- 30:43Speaker 1: Former Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, I made the fallout
- 30:46Speaker 1: of the massacre in Vegas turned the political spotlight on
- 30:50Speaker 1: a gun bill that's currently making its way through the House.
- 30:53Speaker 1: The crowd fled at the sound of gun shots. Imagine
- 30:56Speaker 1: the deaths if the shooter had a silencer, which the
- 31:00Speaker 1: n r A wants to make easier to get, she tweeted.
- 31:03Speaker 1: She wrote later, our grief isn't enough. We can and
- 31:07Speaker 1: must put politics aside, stand up to the n r
- 31:11Speaker 1: A and work together to try and stop this from
- 31:15Speaker 1: happening again. Exactly if not now, when then, when when
- 31:19Speaker 1: are we gonna ever deal with this issue? Well, the
- 31:24Speaker 1: n r A m it's only strong not because of
- 31:29Speaker 1: the amount of money they make, but the amount of
- 31:32Speaker 1: money that they give to political campaign and lobbyists. They
- 31:39Speaker 1: give a tremendous amount of money to them. That way,
- 31:42Speaker 1: they control what the gun laws are. Now. Until these
- 31:47Speaker 1: politicians who accept money from this group decides that people's
- 31:54Speaker 1: lives and the community is more important than their particular
- 31:59Speaker 1: lifestyle or desire to be senator, congressman, it's not going
- 32:03Speaker 1: to change. And that, my dear friends, is the sad
- 32:06Speaker 1: part of about it, because that's their way to their life,
- 32:10Speaker 1: ambition and politics. So they're gonna keep taking this money.
- 32:14Speaker 1: I don't see how we can put a stop to
- 32:16Speaker 1: this because these people know good in hell, well we
- 32:21Speaker 1: need gun laws. They know it. But the n r
- 32:25Speaker 1: A wants to keep record armed sales. They make money
- 32:31Speaker 1: every time a gun is sold, every time a gun
- 32:34Speaker 1: is traded, somebody gotta come get a new one. They
- 32:37Speaker 1: make money like that. So now here they come. Now,
- 32:41Speaker 1: all these people sitting here, man, just making money off
- 32:47Speaker 1: the n r A sales of guns. They give them
- 32:50Speaker 1: to the politicians. And these people are so gutless and
- 32:56Speaker 1: hid behind this hidden money to act like, well, we're
- 33:00Speaker 1: just gonna it's America. It's the Second Amendment that you
- 33:05Speaker 1: have a right to bear arms. Everybody don't need no
- 33:08Speaker 1: damn gun. And the dude in Vega shouldn't have had nothing.
- 33:13Speaker 1: The boys at Columbine shouldn't have had one, Sandy Hook
- 33:17Speaker 1: shouldn't have had one. Orlando at that Orlando shouldn't have
- 33:23Speaker 1: had one. So now while we send up here saying
- 33:26Speaker 1: every American got the right, every American don't have the right.
- 33:30Speaker 1: You must be crazy, man, because you don't have to
- 33:32Speaker 1: go through any type of psychological uh tests or anything. Yeah,
- 33:37Speaker 1: that is nut with all these damn guns. Something wrong
- 33:40Speaker 1: with him. He didn't got a sweet and killed all
- 33:43Speaker 1: these people. But we stale steady sitting up here talking
- 33:46Speaker 1: about this old ass amendment. We got this amendment old
- 33:50Speaker 1: just like that Constitution. Oh see, they make amendments when
- 33:56Speaker 1: they can't get around it no more. But because the
- 33:59Speaker 1: constitute just meant that, don't mean the people is right.
- 34:02Speaker 1: Everyone in this country has a neigable right to the
- 34:04Speaker 1: pursuit of happiness unless you're black driving a car. Come on,
- 34:10Speaker 1: so now here we go again. Now we got not
- 34:14Speaker 1: who else got to die? See many? How many people
- 34:18Speaker 1: have to die? Yeah? I mean that's what I'm saying.
- 34:20Speaker 1: If not now, when if if we don't talk about
- 34:23Speaker 1: this now, after the worst American tragedy in modern history,
- 34:28Speaker 1: when are we going to talk about I was talking
- 34:30Speaker 1: to two men from London yesterday. You know what they said,
- 34:34Speaker 1: what's wrong with you guys? But if we say it
- 34:38Speaker 1: with this British accent, then we get shunned. Piss Morgan
- 34:42Speaker 1: can't talk about it. I can't bring it up. But
- 34:45Speaker 1: it's not right. You guys have got to do something. Okay,
- 34:48Speaker 1: everybody know that. But us could we over here making
- 34:52Speaker 1: money off of and gentlemen, she's here and I'm gonna
- 34:55Speaker 1: be quiet for a minute and just hear what she
- 34:57Speaker 1: has to say. Ladies and gentlemen, miss a hand trip.
- 35:00Speaker 1: Thank you Steve, Good morning everybody out there. And yes,
- 35:03Speaker 1: it is an awful, awful currence. Over and over and
- 35:06Speaker 1: over again. This is entered with the news. Authorities now
- 35:08Speaker 1: say they know who murdered fifty nine people attending that
- 35:11Speaker 1: country music concert in Las Vegas Sunday night. They say
- 35:14Speaker 1: they know who how he got a whole lot of
- 35:16Speaker 1: guns and just started shooting, But they still still do
- 35:19Speaker 1: not know why. So as cops in Las Vegas try
- 35:21Speaker 1: and figure out what led sixty four you old Stephen
- 35:23Speaker 1: Paddock to rent a room at the Mandalais Bay Hotel
- 35:26Speaker 1: last Thursday and go out on the balcony Sunday night
- 35:28Speaker 1: and start shooting people, the FBI's Aaron Rowse says investigators
- 35:32Speaker 1: are going to leave no stone unturned on falls. We
- 35:35Speaker 1: have determined to this point no connection with an international
- 35:40Speaker 1: terrorist group. As this investigation continues, we will continue to
- 35:44Speaker 1: work with our partners to ensure that this is factually,
- 35:47Speaker 1: thoroughly and absolutely investigated to be able to bring comfort
- 35:52Speaker 1: in peace back to this community. At last count, the
- 35:55Speaker 1: death toll stands at fifty nine people did five and
- 35:58Speaker 1: twenty seven injured. Some of the injured are in critical condition,
- 36:02Speaker 1: which means the death toll could rise. For President Obama's
- 36:06Speaker 1: reacted to Sunday Nights mass shooting. He tweets quote, Michelle
- 36:08Speaker 1: and I are praying for the victims in Las Vegas.
- 36:10Speaker 1: Are thoughts with their families and everyone enduring another senseless tragedy.
- 36:15Speaker 1: President Trump reacts this way in time such as these,
- 36:17Speaker 1: I know we are searching for some kind of meaning
- 36:20Speaker 1: in the chaos, some kind of light in the darkness.
- 36:25Speaker 1: The answers do not come easy. Meanwhile, hundreds have turned
- 36:30Speaker 1: out to give blood into those in need. Meanwhile, a
- 36:32Speaker 1: President of Trump is to visit Porto Rico later on
- 36:34Speaker 1: today to survey the damage there. He'll be in Las
- 36:37Speaker 1: Vegas on Wednesday. Finally, from the world of rock and
- 36:40Speaker 1: roll and Music Hall of Famer Tom Petty has died
- 36:56Speaker 1: because of death cardiac arrest. Tom Petty see six years old,
- 37:01Speaker 1: You the Butterfly, twenty miss. After the hour's they tuned
- 37:03Speaker 1: to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening to the
- 37:06Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, Steve introduced Jay get
- 37:10Speaker 1: it right. You have to introduce the color. Do what
- 37:24Speaker 1: what you changed? Look it up? You know what I
- 37:28Speaker 1: like about it? You didn't say the butter I don't
- 37:33Speaker 1: like that part. You have to say, you know, flap
- 37:37Speaker 1: gold dude catching on, very very flavious. Thank you so man. Actually,
- 37:46Speaker 1: Anthony Brown the year now, I do? I love it? Um,
- 37:50Speaker 1: Good morning to a junior Anthony Brown, few timely, Good
- 37:56Speaker 1: morning to every wine morning. Butterfly flap on, flap flap.
- 38:03Speaker 1: I was trying to get the the counselor on today
- 38:06Speaker 1: to speak with me and Stephen. Um, but the councilor's busy. Um,
- 38:11Speaker 1: surely do you think you could be a mediator right now? Well,
- 38:14Speaker 1: I'll do the best I can between you and Stevia,
- 38:16Speaker 1: because Steve already looks like he has an attitude. I mean.
- 38:24Speaker 1: So the exercise that we're going to do, Stephen is
- 38:28Speaker 1: a word association that will help us. So I say
- 38:31Speaker 1: a word, you say it work. No, let the butterfly start,
- 38:37Speaker 1: so he does what he's going to say a word,
- 38:39Speaker 1: and then you say a word. You let him go first,
- 38:42Speaker 1: go ahead, love love It still works. His word didn't
- 38:50Speaker 1: shake care less. Come on, come on, butter fly, next
- 39:01Speaker 1: feelings come on, come on, we might have a breakthrough
- 39:08Speaker 1: before this is all over. Let's go friends to who
- 39:16Speaker 1: come on, butterfly, Go ahead when you want to play,
- 39:22Speaker 1: come on, exercise, keep going, they're going well, go ahead.
- 39:28Speaker 1: Don't worry about birds. Birds birds who because wolves eat bird? Happy,
- 39:50Speaker 1: happy fortune. Okay, we're getting somewhere. We're getting somewhere. Okay, rainbow,
- 40:00Speaker 1: he got one. God, that's not bad. That's okay. Um um.
- 40:18Speaker 1: Here's the last on Steven Kiss. You're listening to the
- 40:27Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Show. Stephen Paddock, the gunman who killed at
- 40:31Speaker 1: least so many people I mean, golly, anyway, I don't
- 40:36Speaker 1: even uh and injured over five hundred in Las Vegas
- 40:39Speaker 1: before taking his own life. He had multiple weapons of arsenal, firearms, explosives,
- 40:46Speaker 1: and AMMO in his thirty second floor room at the
- 40:49Speaker 1: Mandalaid bayh in Vegas. He checked in on last Thursday.
- 40:53Speaker 1: He used a hammer to break the two windows and
- 40:56Speaker 1: then fired into the crowd at the Root ninety one
- 40:58Speaker 1: Harvest fest across the street. Authorities say that hotel staffers
- 41:03Speaker 1: such as maids, were in and out of the room.
- 41:06Speaker 1: No one reports having seen anything unusual. Take a listen
- 41:10Speaker 1: at a female eye witness, as she recalls the seconds
- 41:14Speaker 1: after the shooting started, everyone was just like literally laying
- 41:18Speaker 1: on top of each other trying to get out of
- 41:20Speaker 1: the way, and the shots just kept coming, and we ran,
- 41:24Speaker 1: and everybody's hiding everywhere. I mean they're hiding under the
- 41:27Speaker 1: bleachers and the stanchions and anywhere they could. And everyone's
- 41:30Speaker 1: telling us to run, run as fast as you can. Well, yeah,
- 41:35Speaker 1: I mean, can you just imagine? You know what those
- 41:38Speaker 1: people must have gone through, what they're going through. It's
- 41:41Speaker 1: absolutely horrible. It's horrific, and you know what, we gotta
- 41:46Speaker 1: do something? Yes, how many before we do something? Because
- 41:52Speaker 1: right now, man reacting to it ain't enough. It's too late.
- 41:55Speaker 1: I mean, hats off to the first responds and everything.
- 41:58Speaker 1: I'm not talking about that type of action. I'm talking
- 42:00Speaker 1: about what we gotta keep going through before somebody passing
- 42:05Speaker 1: some bills to say, hey man, we're gonna slow this
- 42:07Speaker 1: way down. It's a bill, man, All we got to
- 42:11Speaker 1: do is pass a bill. Well, what what is the
- 42:13Speaker 1: what's in the bill? You to listen to the bill
- 42:20Speaker 1: that they want to do. Now, it's gonna make buying
- 42:22Speaker 1: a silencer easy because it's easier because the silencer is
- 42:26Speaker 1: really no one should have a silence unless you're doing
- 42:30Speaker 1: something you're not supposed to be doing. That's what a
- 42:33Speaker 1: silence is for. If you don't want anybody here, you shooting,
- 42:37Speaker 1: here comes a silence. Well, now they want to be
- 42:39Speaker 1: able to make it easier to buy a silencer. That's
- 42:41Speaker 1: not our damn problem, though. Our damn problem is the
- 42:45Speaker 1: Second Amendment that needs amending. Well, that's what Hillary is saying.
- 42:50Speaker 1: Put politics aside, stand up to the n r A.
- 42:54Speaker 1: That that's that's why m damn skinheads and park clans
- 43:01Speaker 1: and the white supremacist hate groups can get a permit
- 43:04Speaker 1: cause we are America. We can get a permit and
- 43:07Speaker 1: walk down a peaceful street to tell everybody how much
- 43:11Speaker 1: we hate them, and we get ass or permit. I
- 43:16Speaker 1: don't understand how we keep doing this. They're not protesting.
- 43:22Speaker 1: The clan is not protesting. The skinheads and and the
- 43:25Speaker 1: white Supremacis are not protesting. They're promoting a line of thinking.
- 43:33Speaker 1: Protest is different. Protests is some signs fighting against something. Now,
- 43:40Speaker 1: what you can't do is fight against the life of
- 43:43Speaker 1: somebody else you don't like Jews, blacks, and gay so
- 43:46Speaker 1: now here you come. Hold on, man, you can't get
- 43:50Speaker 1: a permit for that. See see see we're so free,
- 43:55Speaker 1: we we're so free. We're stupid, we stupid free. We
- 44:02Speaker 1: one country that we really need to pull back on
- 44:04Speaker 1: some of the freedoms. Because if you're telling me, if
- 44:09Speaker 1: you're telling me, since you want to have this argument
- 44:12Speaker 1: about this kneeling for the flag and honoring the soldiers,
- 44:15Speaker 1: which I do, you're trying to tell me that these
- 44:18Speaker 1: brave women and women that are over here fighting for
- 44:20Speaker 1: our freedom is the freedom that your ass can walk
- 44:22Speaker 1: in the gun and turn around and turn it on
- 44:24Speaker 1: a bunch of people. That's what they over their phone,
- 44:26Speaker 1: because I think they home if you told them that's
- 44:29Speaker 1: what they was over their phone. You see what I'm
- 44:31Speaker 1: saying this This second Amendment needs adjusting. Yeah, it does.
- 44:37Speaker 1: It really does feel that. They call it Steve the
- 44:40Speaker 1: Sportsman's Heritage and Recreational Enhancement Act, and it is normally
- 44:47Speaker 1: serves to enhance opportunities to hunt and fish on federal land,
- 44:53Speaker 1: but it also includes provisions that will abbreviate the costly
- 44:58Speaker 1: background check required two by suppressors, which we know. Nobody
- 45:05Speaker 1: needs a silence unless you're doing something wrong, right, and
- 45:08Speaker 1: why are we trying to abbreviate it? Come on, we
- 45:12Speaker 1: gotta go, let's go to break. We'll be back. You're
- 45:15Speaker 1: listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show, all right, coming up
- 45:19Speaker 1: at the top of the hour, right about four minutes
- 45:22Speaker 1: after today's Strawberry letter. But first, nephew, tell me with
- 45:25Speaker 1: the prank phone. Call what you got nough. We're pranking
- 45:28Speaker 1: a comedian. A day. When you prank a comedian, tell
- 45:31Speaker 1: him that he stole a joke. That's the worst thing
- 45:34Speaker 1: you can tell a comedian. Guy, god it you stole
- 45:43Speaker 1: my joke. Yeah, I'm trying to I'm trying to reach
- 45:50Speaker 1: guy Tory. Are you listen? This ain't out of uh
- 45:56Speaker 1: Decata Georgia. Listen. I want to call you for a second.
- 45:59Speaker 1: I got number from one of the comedians and uh
- 46:05Speaker 1: down here in Georgia, I got your numbers through them
- 46:08Speaker 1: at the clue. So I wonder, how let you about
- 46:12Speaker 1: this here? Man? Or you know, I've been in the
- 46:14Speaker 1: game probably like or right like two years now. I've
- 46:18Speaker 1: been doing standing up and here lately, you know, everybody
- 46:23Speaker 1: telling me, you know that when I get out stage,
- 46:26Speaker 1: saying hey, you know I've seen a guy to it,
- 46:29Speaker 1: do that, Joe. And I'm saying, what you say, telling
- 46:34Speaker 1: you what I'm doing your jokes, Well, I mean, I'm
- 46:36Speaker 1: just telling you that's supposed to what's going out. And
- 46:39Speaker 1: this ain't the first time I'm hearing, you know, every
- 46:42Speaker 1: time I get out, I'm here, Hey, God to be again.
- 46:47Speaker 1: This ain't out of theator. I don't even know you, man,
- 46:51Speaker 1: but I know that too. But what I'm saying here,
- 46:54Speaker 1: you know, I'm trying to come to you like am
- 46:56Speaker 1: in and tell you what I'm healing. You know what, what, Joe,
- 47:01Speaker 1: what joke is a dude? Because it's like, come on, man,
- 47:03Speaker 1: It's like if it's a premises or what joke? What joke?
- 47:06Speaker 1: They're saying that I stole from you? Well, I'm all
- 47:09Speaker 1: thirty of my minutes that I do. They're saying you're doing.
- 47:11Speaker 1: I don't know. Well, what's all I'm doing? I got do? Do?
- 47:15Speaker 1: I just throw them this at my sleep man? That's
- 47:16Speaker 1: all you got, oh dude. But my understanding is you're
- 47:20Speaker 1: doing you know, damn near my whole real team. You got,
- 47:25Speaker 1: you got, you got the wrong first bird of ball.
- 47:26Speaker 1: You you got me considered with somebody names. I don't
- 47:29Speaker 1: steal jokes. I've been in game fifteen years. I never
- 47:32Speaker 1: stole damn joke. So I don't know. I don't know
- 47:34Speaker 1: what people you got telling you. You know, every time
- 47:36Speaker 1: you get off stage. I'm doing the material. But dude,
- 47:38Speaker 1: I do my own material. Do I live my life?
- 47:40Speaker 1: I tell my own story, Dude, I don't know crap. Man.
- 47:44Speaker 1: Look look man, look, I ain't trying to get into
- 47:46Speaker 1: it like this hill. All I'm saying is, if I
- 47:49Speaker 1: find out you do one mode of my joke, hold on,
- 47:53Speaker 1: hold on, first of all, you first ballo, ye, hold on.
- 47:55Speaker 1: First of all, you ain't gonna curse at me, dude,
- 47:57Speaker 1: I encursed that you yet. All right, so let me
- 47:59Speaker 1: come at me like that. First of all, you're in
- 48:00Speaker 1: the game two years to come on, man, you mine. Man,
- 48:04Speaker 1: you look all I know you're people telling me that
- 48:08Speaker 1: that you up there doing. And you know I already
- 48:10Speaker 1: know about you, your brother, and I left there that on.

- 49:38Speaker 1: I all I'm gonna say is this right here when
- 49:40Speaker 1: I see y'all, it's only pop because you're messing with
- 49:45Speaker 1: my lilihood. Not dude, I would you have to do? Dude, Dude,
- 49:48Speaker 1: you you're accusing my reputation. Dude, that's worse than that.
- 49:51Speaker 1: I mean, I know you got some movies and stuff

- 49:56Speaker 1: They another do it. I'm still you get you get straight,

- 52:31Speaker 1: So hu they can I prig little nail. Yeah you
- 52:39Speaker 1: can blame me now, but really Juge Wallace's mama, Yeah,
- 52:42Speaker 1: that's my best bend. And then you know she don't
- 52:45Speaker 1: get p phone privileges, but on Thursday because she and
- 52:48Speaker 1: Jake any but he knows that I don't want to
- 52:52Speaker 1: do that. Oh I could Frank, Oh j come on, look,
- 53:11Speaker 1: that would be a great prank you trying to laugh
- 53:16Speaker 1: and be funny. You'd be better with Jod. So if
- 53:22Speaker 1: I call and say I got the Hasman Trophy, Tom
- 53:29Speaker 1: don't and and you think he think that's gonna be
- 53:34Speaker 1: we can say, oh Jay, this is nephew, get that
- 53:39Speaker 1: right this morning showing the lane just finished his playtime
- 53:43Speaker 1: and don't don't mess it up his mama's boy, Mama's
- 53:51Speaker 1: you know where they cheer. You can barely get your
- 53:54Speaker 1: lines out. Yeah, yeah, please please, you know where you're
- 53:58Speaker 1: more popular than Johnny Gil that play. I don't want
- 54:02Speaker 1: to prank oh j Man. We could prank the juice.
- 54:04Speaker 1: No no, no, no no, what if I pranking Tenema?
- 54:07Speaker 1: We we um with hers running man to come back
- 54:14Speaker 1: and run through the airport and we want you to
- 54:19Speaker 1: do it with handcuffs for once. Listen to your uncle
- 54:23Speaker 1: for once. He's he just got out. Alright, stop, we
- 54:31Speaker 1: are gonna do But if you call him, that'll be stupid. Okay, alright,
- 54:39Speaker 1: Coming up next today, Strawberry Letter. We'll be back right
- 54:42Speaker 1: after this. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show Today.
- 54:47Speaker 1: Strawberry Letter is up next and it's a good one.
- 54:50Speaker 1: But first today, fifty Cents says Donald Trump offered him
- 54:54Speaker 1: five hundred thousand dollars to campaign. Fifty Cent claims Donald
- 54:58Speaker 1: Trump's team offered him five hundred thousand dollars, I said
- 55:01Speaker 1: a million dollars to make an appearance during his presidential campaign. Yeah.
- 55:07Speaker 1: In a recent interview, fifty said the move was an
- 55:10Speaker 1: attempt to reach black voters, but not all money is
- 55:13Speaker 1: good money. Fifty said he turned it down because it
- 55:16Speaker 1: wasn't worth it. He also believes forty five ran for
- 55:19Speaker 1: president not to actually win, but to build his profile
- 55:23Speaker 1: for a bigger deal on television. Fifty said, his presidency
- 55:27Speaker 1: is an accident. If you were a president by accident,
- 55:30Speaker 1: you might do some of the things that Donald Trump
- 55:32Speaker 1: is doing. Yeah, but I really do believe that they
- 55:38Speaker 1: honestly did not think they could win absolutely everything, and
- 55:43Speaker 1: when they were winning, and we're winning because he didn't
- 55:46Speaker 1: have nothing prepaying And so what we have is a
- 55:49Speaker 1: guy who's never served in public office as the president
- 55:53Speaker 1: of United States. First of all, it doesn't know how
- 55:55Speaker 1: to play the political game. And then he just he
- 55:58Speaker 1: just up there just being himself. He doesn't understand that
- 56:01Speaker 1: he's the president of the United States. So he's the
- 56:04Speaker 1: dude on the golf course and he's saying because he's
- 56:10Speaker 1: always had a good light, so when people are down
- 56:13Speaker 1: trodden and have issues and problems and things that he
- 56:16Speaker 1: can't relate to that he never has rights. Yeah, that's
- 56:21Speaker 1: why it's gonna be so interesting. You kidding me? When
- 56:23Speaker 1: he goes there today. Oh, it's not gonna be at all.
- 56:27Speaker 1: I'll be surprised if he go. I want to know
- 56:31Speaker 1: the crowds, thank you all for coming. Tom A huge
- 56:33Speaker 1: crowd came out of the day. I think they'd asked
- 56:36Speaker 1: to see if you bought something. Yeah, if there is
- 56:40Speaker 1: a huge crowd, I'm pretty sure that you got water,
- 56:45Speaker 1: some fly from food anything. They're going to have to
- 56:51Speaker 1: do that what they always do. They're gonna go to
- 56:55Speaker 1: gonna have to find some Trump people to put around him.
- 56:58Speaker 1: Got a clapping That's how they do it. Man. They
- 57:02Speaker 1: always find do you think like that rallying azone? What
- 57:05Speaker 1: do you think they got that black throuy with blacks
- 57:10Speaker 1: for Trump with an ass on itself. He probably got
- 57:15Speaker 1: paid right now. I mean, but he was up there.
- 57:20Speaker 1: I mean you know, but why did they find it?
- 57:21Speaker 1: Because they put the people behind the president that they
- 57:24Speaker 1: want to have on camera to make it look like
- 57:26Speaker 1: a diverse crowd. They get young people, they get mature
- 57:30Speaker 1: looking women, older white men, younger people. They try to
- 57:33Speaker 1: make it look they try to put her somebody looked
- 57:37Speaker 1: like he got a farm. Some people on there withall
- 57:44Speaker 1: know I'm telling like Middle America type guys. Look at
- 57:51Speaker 1: all the rallies. They put somebody on with a plaid shirt.
- 57:55Speaker 1: Your hands still rough. Somebody would have sued on the
- 58:00Speaker 1: woman with a T shirt, a woman with some pearls.
- 58:03Speaker 1: They find one black clapping his ass off everything he
- 58:10Speaker 1: said standing up. Yeah, what you do for a hunter? Grand?
- 58:15Speaker 1: What you do. But we don't know that it was
- 58:18Speaker 1: a grand That's the time he's saying he paid. You
- 58:23Speaker 1: know what I mean? Back down right there with him.
- 58:29Speaker 1: It might be somebody on this show playing in the
- 58:35Speaker 1: stand and don't give a dog about it. One of
- 58:44Speaker 1: them hats a go on. Let's get to this letter now,
- 58:50Speaker 1: buggle up and hold on tight. We got it full year.
- 58:52Speaker 1: It is a strawberry letter subject What kind of man
- 58:56Speaker 1: does that? Dear Steve Harvey Morning Show. I'm a twenty
- 58:59Speaker 1: seven year mother of two sons, ages five and seven.
- 59:02Speaker 1: I have a difficult situation and thought I would ask
- 59:05Speaker 1: for your advice. I have been legally married to a
- 59:08Speaker 1: man for six long years, but separated for three and
- 59:11Speaker 1: a half. We have one son together, and he has
- 59:14Speaker 1: been in my oldest child's life since he was a baby.
- 59:17Speaker 1: Under the religion that I follow, divorce is not an
- 59:21Speaker 1: option for me. We did not have a premary, we
- 59:24Speaker 1: did not have premarital sex. So I fell head over
- 59:27Speaker 1: heels when he was able to go a year without
- 59:30Speaker 1: pressuring me into sleeping with him. Basically, I felt in
- 59:34Speaker 1: my heart that God sent this man to me. Well,
- 59:38Speaker 1: my husband chose to leave our church in parentheses, which
- 59:42Speaker 1: is his right to do so if he chooses or
- 59:45Speaker 1: if he wants, and he left me to move back
- 59:48Speaker 1: in with his mother. Well, once he left me, he
- 59:52Speaker 1: allowed our house to foreclose, our car to become repossessed,
- 59:55Speaker 1: and took what was left in the bank. To make
- 59:58Speaker 1: a long story short, not long after he moved in
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: with his mom, he moved a woman and her two
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: kids in his mother's home. He has been with this
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: trick ever since, and they still reside in his mother's
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: home till this day, although his mother moved out. Now,
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: he and I are still legally married, and I can't
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: understand why he won't divorce me already. I have not
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: moved on, and I'm not dating anyone because, like I
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: said earlier, my beliefs prohibit me from divorce. But please
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: tell me what kind of man takes care of another
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: woman and her kids? But won't divorce the one he's
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: still legally bound to. Also, what do I do when
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: he brings her with him to my place to pick
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: up the kids? Please help, I'm so tired of being
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: sick and tired. Yeah, my sinement's exactly Steve, you know,
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: I mean, you know, I don't know what kind of
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: religion this is. You know, I don't presume to think
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: it's any kind. Don't know what this is you're involved in.
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: I I really don't. I don't understand uh, a religion
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: or anything that would, um, you know, require you to
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: stay married and not divorce a man that treats you
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: like this. I don't get it. I mean I thought
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: religion was supposed to be a barometer and a guideline
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: for your life. You know, not to dictate, um, and
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: you know, and you really only have to answer to
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: God here. I'll just leave it at that. Um, you've
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: been separated from your husband for three and a half years.
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: I mean he's not been your husband ever since he
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: left you moved with another woman. Uh in his mother's house. Uh,
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: this is not your husband. You're gonna continually be in
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: bondage unless you take charge of your life. I mean,
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: you know, I would suggest maybe you going to the
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: people that are the head of your religion and perhaps
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: talking to the minister of the pastor whatever. I mean.
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: This is a tough situation here, you know. UM, I
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: just don't understand what kind of religion this is that
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: would um you know, have you stuck in something like this?
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: You're right, you can't move forward unless you deal with
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: this situation. And the only way right now to deal
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: with it is to divorce this man. You're waiting for
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: him to do it. He's not gonna do it, obviously,
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: He's okay with how things are. You're gonna have to
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: do it yourself and take charge of your own life
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: and be accountable and withholding to God, beholding to God. Uh, Steve,
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: this is crazy crazy. We got your response coming up.
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: I don't know what to tell her. You're listening to
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: the Steve Morning Show. All right, Steve, come on with
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: part two of your response to today's Strawberry letter. What
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: kind of man does this? M I don't really to
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: start in your letter because every line is field with ridiculous.
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: So let me just try it this way. Let's just
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: start with the use so sick and tired of being
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: sick and tired, And my opening arcs this morning, I said,
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: what makes a person sick and tired of being sick
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: and tired is when their life is in a rut
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: and it's indulgence in its whole home and it's going nowhere.
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: What usually puts a person's life into the sick and
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: tide of being sick and tired position, it's because they
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: don't have a road map. They don't have a plan,
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: they don't have any dreams of visions. When you don't
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: have dreams of visions and you don't have a road map,
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: you don't have a map to where you're going in life.
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: This woman is going nowhere. Her whole life was tied
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: to this man. Now she's in a religion that does
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: not under the religion that I followed, divorce is not
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: an option for me. Okay, see here's here's a crazy part.
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: Let me tell you something, lady, before I give you this.
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: You need to get out of your religion with God
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: and get into a relationship with God. That's a deeper
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: understanding than a bunch of rules set up by men.
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: Get into your relationship with God instead of you See,
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: you're married to your religion, But what about your relationship
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: with God? So let's talk about this. So I don't
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: know your religion, so I'm not blasting at anything like that,
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: but you need to check your relationship with God, because
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: I gotta ask you a couple of questions. You believe
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: that God sent this man to you. That's what you believe,
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: because basically he didn't pressure you in the sleeper with
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: him for a year. You felt in your heart to
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: God sent you this man. Well, your husband chose to
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: leave your church, which is his right to do if
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: he wants, and he left me to move back in
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: with his mama. He allowed your house to get foreclosed,
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: your car to be repossessed, and took what was left
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: in the bank. Then he moved a woman into his
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: mama house with two kids, into his mother's home. Mama
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: ain't said nothing about this. This was cool with Mama.
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: First of all, your man was not a man in
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: the beginning. I don't know what's your criteria for manhood is.
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: But you're dating a boy. You were married to a boy.
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: Your boy now at we always remember this. Somebody just
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: told it to me. Boys shack men build homes. Your
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: boy just like the shock when y'all was at home.
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: It wasn't even no good. You've been geve been married
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: to a boy for a long time. Now this boy
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: right here to move this woman in with the two kids.
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: You want to know in the letter, what kind of
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: man takes care of another woman and her kids but
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: won't divorce the one he's still legally bound to see?
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: You make a lot of misstatements in this letter. You mean,
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: what type of man takes care of another woman's kids
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: but won't take care of his kids. You keep harping
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: on this divorce that your religions say you can't do,
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: and then you say in the letter you said, uh uh,
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: I have not moved on and I'm not dating anymore because,
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: like I said, my beliefs prevent me from prohibit me
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: from divorce. Okay, let's let's talk about your beliefs. Do
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: you believe it's okay to be treated this way? We're
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: talking about your beliefs in your religion, because I don't
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: know what religion makes it okay for you to be
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: treated this way? Okay? Do you believe it's now your
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: duty to be stuck in a situation like this? Do
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: you believe that because we're talking about your beliefs. Your
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: beliefs are your religion. So now once again you need
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: to get out of your religion with God and get
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: into your relationship with God because your religion is contradicting
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: the morality of life itself. Okay, we have to go.
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: Coming up next, Miss Anna's here with today's headlines and
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: she'll give us, of course, the latest on the Las
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: Vegas shooting. The number of dat as a result of
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: Sunday's mass shooting in Las Vegas keeps rising, as already's
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: now say, fifty nine people have died in the deadliest
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: mass shooting in US history, while some five twenty seven
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: others have been injured, some of those people in critical condition.
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: Asaridy say. The suspect, sixty four you old Stephen Paddock,
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: is from Mosquite, Nevada. Paddock's brothers as he was a
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: multi millionaire real estate investor who liked to gamble and
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: who had bouts of depression. Clark County Sheriff Joe Lombardo
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: says they found loads of guns in both his house
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: and in the hotel room where he shot all those people,
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: and we're in the end he committed suicide. Retrieved in
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: the excess of eighteen additional firearms, UM some explosives, and
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: several thousand rounds of AMMO. All the carners took place
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: during a country music concert. One of the musicians, guitarist
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: Caleb Keter of Josh Abbott's Band, says surviving that ordeal
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: has changed things for him. Keuter says he used to
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: be a staunch supporter of the Second Amendment about the
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: right to own guns, but no longer. He says he
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: cannot express how wrong he was. Keuter says members of
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: the band's who had legal firearms on their two of us,
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: but they were no use. Keeter now says we need
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: gun control right now. The President and Vice President reacted
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: yesterday by observing a moment of silence for the victims
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: on the White House lawn, and Mr Trump later spoke
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: about the tragedy. In time such as these, I know
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: we are searching for some kind of meaning in the chaos,
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: some kind of light in the darkness. The answers do
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: not come easy, of course. Late night TV show host
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: Jimmy Kimmel says there are some answers, and they are
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: easy ones if we really want to take them. He's
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: had his say, people say, this is terrible, but there's
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: nothing we can do about it. But I disagree with
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: that intensely, because, of course there's something we can do
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: about it, but we don't. Which is interesting because when
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: someone with a beard attacks us, we tap phones, we
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: invoke travel bands, we build walls, we take every possible
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: precaution to make sure it doesn't happen again. But when
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: an American buys a gun and kills other Americans, then
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: there's nothing we can do about that. Orlando, Newtown, Aurora,
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: San Bernardino. Every one of these shootings. The murder used
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: automatic or semi automatic rifles, which are not weapons you
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: use for self defense. I don't know why our so
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: called leaders continue to allow this to happen, or maybe
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: a better question, why do we continue to let them
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: to allow it to happen. President Trump is visiting Las
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: Vegas on Wednesday. He said he's praying for those who
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: lost their lives, you know. In February, he also signed
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: a bill that made it easier for people with severe
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: mental illness to buy guns legally. They sent a Majority
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: Leader Mitch McConnell and Speaker of the House Paul Ryan,
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: a number of other lawmakers who won't do anything about
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: this because the n r A has their balls in
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: a money clip also sent their thoughts and their prayers today.
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: They should be praying, They should be praying for God
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: to forgive them for letting the gun lobby lobby run
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: this country. That of course, late night TV show host
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: Jimmy Kimmel and what he said last night on his
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: show for President Obama's reacted. He said, Michelle and I
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: are praying for the victims in Las Vegas. Au thoughts
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: are with their families and everyone and during another senseless tragedy. Meanwhile,
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: hundreds have turned out to give blood to those in need,
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: and they stay on the lines even though they're told
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: to turn away. And while President Trump is to be
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: in Puerto Rico later today, he'll be in Vegas tomorrow.
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: This is and TRIPID with a special report. Now back
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening to Steve
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. All right, Steve, did you think yesterday?
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: The White House spokeswoman um Sarah Huckabee Sanders. She said
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: Monday that it was too soon to begin a date
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: on gun control less than twenty four hours after the
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: deadliest shooting in US history. Although she reiterated President Trump's
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: support for the Second Amendment, the right to bear arms,
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: Sanders did not rule out the idea that the president
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: could lead a biparti partisan solution for gun control, but
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: cautioned that legislators should not work on a bill that
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: would impose restrictions on firearms but failed to stop shootings.
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: Using Chicago as an example of such a situation, she said, yeah,
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: this is crazy. She said, they have the strictest gun
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: laws in the country. That certainly hasn't helped there. That's
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: what she said of Chicago. I think when the time
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: comes for those conservations of conversations, excuse me to take place,
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: I think we need to look at things that may
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: actually have that real impact. What do you what. I
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: did a whole show on that on my talk show,
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: No Lady, the reason Chicago has a problem is because
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: they and drive right across the bridge to Chuck's Chuck's gunshot.
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: They can drive right across the bridge to Indiana and
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: buy all the guns they won't. You know, Indiana touches Illinois.
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: You do know that, Miss Huckabee. And if your gun
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: law in the neighboring state just a bridge over the bridge,
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: and you can buy anything you want. I had the
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: gun shop on my show, and everything I couldn't get
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: the owner to come talk. You drive right over to
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: Indiana and get anything you want and drive right back
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: over the bridge. And your ask in Chicago, lady, are
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: you kidding me? Are you kidding me? It hasn't helped
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: in Chicago. No, that's because you can freely, freely bring
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: the gun laws in from across the bridge. Now you're
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: sitting up here talking about it too soon. It's actually
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: too damn late. See the people are already dead. See
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: but there ain't not your relatives laying over there at all.
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: See See, but there ain't none of your relatives laying
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: over there at all. See it was your mama or
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: your daddy, or your brother or your sister or your
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: child laying over there. How how would you be having
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: this too soon conversation? It's easy, man, when it ain't
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: chow ass. That's what killed me about these people, man,
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: It ain't ever they asked, they say, ever been poll
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: So they don't know how pope people feel. They never
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: been oppressed, so they don't know how oppression feel. They
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: don't dy't ever been shot for no damn reason. So
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: they can't imagine that d ain't very day kids because
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: of some brutality, or they ain't got to go visit
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: their kids for some fake dope getting put on them down.
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: They don't know what that is. They didn't know that.
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: I'm telling you, man, I'm telling you, these people are
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: out of touch. It's too soon to talk about really.
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: You telling people, tell them it's too soon. That's burying
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: their loved ones. Let's making funeral arrangements right now. Tell
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: them it's too soon. Yeah, because it look like it's
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: too late to me, I'm really starting not like this
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: huckaby girl. Know how she'll be up there. Man, she
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: lied harder than Spicer, and then she try to she
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: try to play it all with and put a little
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: smirk on her face that when I don't like, don't
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: lie to me a smirk. I'm starting to get piste
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: off with the smirk. Hey, hey, you look, look, Sarah Huckabee.
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: See here's what kills me. Sarah Huckabee. You know, we
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: get in whatever political party we want to get in,
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: and then we just hold the party line right or wrong.
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: Sarah Huckabye, you could never come on TV and tell
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: these people it's too early to talk about gun laws,
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: Sarah Huckabee. But then you say he may lead a
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: bipartisan group. But then to say, but don't expect him
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: because he supports the Second Amendment. He got to say
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: that because that's the party line to support the Second Amendment.
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: There's a base of people that want to do that.
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: And this amendment is so wide has a right to
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: bear them that they actually make it like it's for
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: sportsmanship and hunting. The gun laws we're trying to come
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: up with is assaults rifles, stuff that you can't take hunting.
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: So you can't take an assault rifle and shoot a deer.
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: And what do you need a silencer for to shoot?
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: To hunt? Because this that's not for hunting, that's for robbery.
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: And the reason okay, now, okay, now you're ready for this.
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: The reason they want silence is to be easier to
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: get because you have more crime. If you have more crime,
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: you can sell more guns. Yeah. I don't know Who'm
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: missing this. Yeah, go over to here. You trying to
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: sell more silences? Yeah? And and Hillary got so, I mean,
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: you know, just criticized on her. Yeah, for campaigning, you know,
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: to talk about the gun laws and things like that
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: in gun control. She got so criticized for doing that.
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: They even showed this city up north Minnesota, somewhere like
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: this where it was legal to carry a gun. It
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: was a gun carry state state, and they were all
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: at this barbecue, all these families and everybody had a
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: gun strapped on. Now, let's let me tell you something
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: about caring a gun. The gun serves no purpose unless
- 1:15:33Speaker 1: you use it right. It's a lot easier to pull
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: the gun out if you got it on you. So
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: I don't see how that even makes no damn sense. Man,
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: twin peaks. It's just over and over and over. But
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: it's okay because it's sad. Man, You think they would
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: do something cause all of their own senators that got
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: shot at that baseball game. Yeah, yeah, you got to
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: notice a little more money than they little more to
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: safety because if that didn't get the law change when
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: they shot a few of them, I didn't know what
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: what I said. I bet we get something done. Now
- 1:16:15Speaker 1: we ain't get the damn thing done. Let's continue, Steve
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: to just pray for these families, for these victims right now,
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: because this is we're living in hard times, rough times
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: right now. We have to do something and we'll be back.
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: So we're gonna get back to the show for I
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: Lose my damn. You're listening to Steve and many people,
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: as we've been discussing across the country, are just still
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: stunned and shocked and in awe about the tragic news
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: of this deadly mass shooting at at the country music
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: festival in Vegas. So many people were killed more than
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: five hundred, five hundred people were injured. The incident happened
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: during the Root ninety one Harvest Festival concert, and according
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: to various reports, the on fire began um, you know,
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: while Jason Aldan I should say that was the headliner,
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: was on stage, and many people thought it sounded like fireworks.
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: They soon realized, as we were saying earlier, something very
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: different was going on. Witnesses say that the sound appeared
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: to be coming from the Mandalais Bay Resort and casino,
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: and that the shooting was downward into the crowd below.
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: That's another thing, you know, the elevation, you know of
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: it all. He it wasn't, yeah, he wasn't at ground
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: level like like you know, a lot of the other
- 1:17:33Speaker 1: um incidents have been this is someone above you shooting
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: down on you, which is really horrible, you know, shooting
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: down into the crowd below. I know, it's just unthinkable.
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: President Trump addressed the nation following the mass shooting. The
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: President was somber, he really was, as he sought to
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: strike notes of grief, unity, and hope. Take a listen,
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: hundreds of our fellow citizens are now more earning the
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: sudden loss of a loved one, a parent, a child,
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: a brother or sister. We cannot fathom their pain. We
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: cannot imagine to their loss. To the families of the victims.
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: We are praying for you, and we are here for you,
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: and we asked God to help see you through this
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: very dark period. Yes, and the President also think the
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: first responders because they were on it. They were really
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: on it in Vegas, I mean, and they had no
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: idea that they were going to be overwhelmed the way
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: they were when they arrived on the scene. So the
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: fact that anybody know, how did he how did he
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: gun me? Because I haven't heard this discussion, how did
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: he end up dead? He killed him killed himself? Yeah,
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: he shot himself. He shot himself. Yeah, That's what I'd
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: be talking about. Man, Look if you're going look you're
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: sick of your life. Man, go somewhere, be sick of
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: your knife. What is the killing all these innocent people for?
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: And it went on, They say, for like ten to
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: fifteen minutes, Steve just out there just shooting, just you know,
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: I mean, and then there would be silence, then more
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: shots would come, then silence, then more shots will come. Yeah.
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: How many people have been pronounced? Uh? Well, at last
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: count it was fifty nine, Yeah, fifty nine and then
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: over five hundred and twenty seven at last count were
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: um were injured. It was twenty two thousand people there. Yeah,
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: pop injured injured? Yeah, two people though they crowd estimate, uh,
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: at the concert. And what I was also hearing was
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: that when when the police tried to get into the
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: hotel to the Mendalai Bay trying to figure out where
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: he was, you know, when they looked up and saw
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: that the spy fire, the smoke detector in the hotel
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: went off, went off because of all of that, you know,
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: And yeah, they were trying to get into the hotel
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: room and obviously that's when they discovered he had killed
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: himself along with all of this ammunition that he had
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: around him, his arsenal of firearm that he had. And
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: you break the window out at Mandelaide Bay. I used
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: to hammer and it was two windows he had that corner,
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: sweet Steve, and two windows he broke. So they said
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: he set up two guns and you know, yeah that
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: on a on a tripod. And so he was going
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: back and forth, back and forth, just unbelievable. And then
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: they went to his home. He lived but I guess
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: about eighty miles outside of Vegas, and he had like
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: eighteen additional firearms and explosives at his home. Yeah, and Mesquite, Mesquite, Nevada.
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: And then he has hired an accountant and retired accounting. Uh,
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: this man was Steve, and he um gambled. He gambled
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: a lot. He played a hundred dollar poker hands. Were
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: supposed to be pretty wealthy, right. Yeah, he was comfortable,
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: they said, he lived, you know, very comfortable in a
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: nice area and people are just in a retirement community. Yeah,
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: they don't understand what happened. You know, he's never been
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: in trouble with the law, so far from what they're saying,
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: he has never been in trouble with the law. But
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: his father, boy, his dad Steve, because his dad was
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: one of the FBI most wanted. He was a bank
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: robber and robber. Yeah, so unbelievable, Yeah, unbelievable. I'm gonna
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: be honest with you. I don't. I don't, I don't.
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: I don't really have a lot to say because I'm
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: just it's it's, you know, I'm I'm beating a dead
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: horse here. I keep saying, gun control. I keep saying
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: gun control, we keep saying in police brutality, we keep saying,
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: we keep saying. We just keeps saying. Man, And I'm
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: I'm I'm you know, I feel so horrible for the families,
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: for all the innocent people man just out to have
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: a nice time, and even some demented but whole ain't
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: got nothing going on right in his life, got some
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: demented thought and gona decide to kill a bunch of folks,
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: just shooting to an open crowd. I mean, just he
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: it was like he was a hunter and they were
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: the prey and he just opened fire on them for
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: absolutely no reason. But but the the first responders, I mean,
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: all the people that are working in the hospitals and
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: the trauma centers because they have to get those people
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: out of there, and you know, to the hospitals. A
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: lot of people died at the hospital. Um you know
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: that were shot on the stage. Yeah, just unbelievable. Later on,
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: of course, I mean, we know that things happen in
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: the world, but we're here to do our job as well,
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: and the show must go on. You're listening to the
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: Steve Harvey show. He's sorry, so sorry that his flights
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: were paid for it by you, the taxpayers, and now
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: Health Secretary Tom Price is promising to reimburse us, the
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: American taxpayers, a portion of the cost for his use
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: of private jets. Helping you. Yeah, we want Yeah, I
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: thought he resigned that way. Yeah, yeah he did. He
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: resigned September nine, um after he took private chartered flights
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: at significant government expense. Significant. In a statement, Price said
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: he will write a personal check to the Treasury for
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: his expenses on the private charter flights used for government
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: business at The secret to be s the secret to
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: be is is non when to stop. Then he didn't
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: know when to stop. He just didn't know when to stop.
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: You know, you can't spend that much money, of other
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: people's money, flying around and thinking that somebody ain't gonna
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: catch you. Man, But you try the plane from Philly
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: to d C. Yeah, it's hour. It's the hour dry,
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: That's what everybody says. Why didn't he just trains? Really
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: a cool, rid nice right man? Except if you ride
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: with Monica and you get on the quiet card about
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: being quiet. They are very serious about that quiet card.
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: Why is there about this? Ain't you want to ask
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: your code too loud? Why I'm talking? I'm just talking
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: to my regular voice. People looking up so hard. Well,
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: you know what, there's nothing like to look you get
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: from white when they want you to be quiet. It
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: is most amazing. Look, come on, guy, come on, come on,
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: are you for real? You gotta be kidding. Check your phones.
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: I'm gonna show you what bab Well, while we're checking
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: our phones, I'll tell you that American Idol producers finally
- 1:25:27Speaker 1: have their man. Okay, I'm talking about one Lionel Ritchie.
- 1:25:33Speaker 1: He's finally agreed to be a judge. Yeah, he's gonna
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: join Katie Perry and Luke Brian When audition started just
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: a few days but the show's talent budget is well
- 1:25:42Speaker 1: back in the rear view mirror. Um Katie is getting
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: twenty five million. We know that line of money. Luke
- 1:25:50Speaker 1: is reportedly getting thirteen million, show host Ryan Seacrest just
- 1:25:55Speaker 1: getting fifteen million. You know, they got to pay him,
- 1:25:59Speaker 1: and then Lionel said to be getting ten million dollars.
- 1:26:02Speaker 1: I'm surprised I even have ten million left after all this.
- 1:26:05Speaker 1: But you know what, that's the only show they they
- 1:26:08Speaker 1: got plenty of money, and that's the only show that
- 1:26:10Speaker 1: people have really stepped and really made it off, not
- 1:26:13Speaker 1: taken away from the Voice is a great in terms
- 1:26:16Speaker 1: of people having a career. American Idol is really the
- 1:26:19Speaker 1: only one that yeah, you can really say, oh she
- 1:26:22Speaker 1: wants you know, it hasn't but Jennifer Hudson is on
- 1:26:30Speaker 1: the Voice. She's really good on there to her and
- 1:26:34Speaker 1: Miley Starrus and like Shelton and Good Show, Good Show.
- 1:26:39Speaker 1: American Idol will premier on ABC next year, most likely
- 1:26:43Speaker 1: in March, so we can see Lionel Richie has a judge.
- 1:26:45Speaker 1: That would be interesting. Oh yes, there's a young lady
- 1:26:51Speaker 1: from l I think Janice Freeman. She's gonna be on
- 1:26:55Speaker 1: the Voice and she did really Oh okay, all right,
- 1:26:58Speaker 1: look out for her. Yeah, this is good. Alright, guys,
- 1:27:02Speaker 1: we'll be back after this and then we come back, Um,
- 1:27:06Speaker 1: we'll talk some more. That's what we do on this
- 1:27:09Speaker 1: crazy show. You're listening to. Gun control, of course, you know,
- 1:27:17Speaker 1: is a legitimate issue here. We need action. Former Democratic
- 1:27:21Speaker 1: presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, I made the fallout of the
- 1:27:24Speaker 1: massacre in Vegas, turned the political spotlight on a gun
- 1:27:28Speaker 1: bill that's currently making its way through the House. The
- 1:27:31Speaker 1: crowd fled at the sound of gunshots. Imagine the deaths
- 1:27:35Speaker 1: if the shooter had a silencer, which the n r
- 1:27:38Speaker 1: A wants to make easier to get, she tweeted. She
- 1:27:41Speaker 1: wrote later, our grief isn't enough. We can and must
- 1:27:46Speaker 1: put politics aside, stand up to the n r A
- 1:27:50Speaker 1: and work together to try and stop this from happening again.
- 1:27:54Speaker 1: Exactly if not now, when then, when when are we
- 1:27:58Speaker 1: gonna ever deal with this? Is Well, the n r
- 1:28:02Speaker 1: A m it's only strong not because of the amount
- 1:28:07Speaker 1: of money they make, but the amount of money that
- 1:28:11Speaker 1: they give to political campaign and lobbyists. They give a
- 1:28:17Speaker 1: tremendous amount of money to them. That way they control
- 1:28:21Speaker 1: what the gun laws are. Now until these politicians who
- 1:28:27Speaker 1: accept money from this group decides that people's lives and
- 1:28:33Speaker 1: the community is more important than their particular lifestyle or
- 1:28:37Speaker 1: desire to be send or congressman. It's not going to change,
- 1:28:42Speaker 1: so they're gonna keep taking this money. I don't see
- 1:28:44Speaker 1: how we can put a stop to this, because these
- 1:28:48Speaker 1: people know good in hell well we need gun laws.
- 1:28:53Speaker 1: They know it. But the n r A wants to
- 1:28:56Speaker 1: keep record arms sales. They make money every time a
- 1:29:02Speaker 1: gun is sold. Every time a gun is traded, somebody
- 1:29:06Speaker 1: gotta come get a new one. They make money like that.
- 1:29:09Speaker 1: So now here they come. Now all these people sitting here, man,
- 1:29:15Speaker 1: just making money off the n r A sales of guns.
- 1:29:20Speaker 1: They give them to the politicians. And these people are
- 1:29:24Speaker 1: so gutless and hide behind this hidden money to act like, well,
- 1:29:30Speaker 1: we're just gonna it's America. It's the Second Amendment that
- 1:29:35Speaker 1: you have a right to bear arms. Everybody don't need
- 1:29:38Speaker 1: no damn gun, and the dude in Vegas shouldn't have
- 1:29:41Speaker 1: had nothing. So now while we send up here saying
- 1:29:45Speaker 1: every American got the right, every American don't have the right.
- 1:29:49Speaker 1: You must be crazy, man, because you don't have to
- 1:29:51Speaker 1: go through any type of psychological test or anything. Yeah,
- 1:29:56Speaker 1: that is nut with all these damn guns. Something wrong
- 1:29:59Speaker 1: with him. He didn't got a sweet and killed all
- 1:30:02Speaker 1: these people. But we stale steady sitting up here talking
- 1:30:05Speaker 1: about this old ass amendment we got. See they make
- 1:30:09Speaker 1: amendments when they can't get around it no more. But
- 1:30:14Speaker 1: because the constitution is meant, that don't mean the people
- 1:30:16Speaker 1: is right. Everyone in this country has a negible right
- 1:30:19Speaker 1: to the pursuit of happiness unless you're black driving a car.
- 1:30:24Speaker 1: Come on, So now here we go again. Now we
- 1:30:28Speaker 1: got not wh who else got to die? See many?
- 1:30:32Speaker 1: How many people have to die? Yeah? I mean that's
- 1:30:35Speaker 1: what I'm saying. If not now, when if if we
- 1:30:38Speaker 1: don't talk about this now, after the worst American tragedy
- 1:30:41Speaker 1: in modern history, when are we gonna talk about I
- 1:30:44Speaker 1: was talking to two men from London yesterday. You know
- 1:30:48Speaker 1: what they said, what's wrong with you guys? But if
- 1:30:52Speaker 1: we say it with this British accent, then we get shunned.
- 1:30:57Speaker 1: Piss Morgan can't talk about it. I can't bring it up.
- 1:31:00Speaker 1: But it's not right. You guys have got to do something. Okay,
- 1:31:03Speaker 1: everybody know that, but us no core and making money
- 1:31:07Speaker 1: off of you're listening to the Steve Show. Stephen Paddocks
- 1:31:12Speaker 1: the gunman who killed at least so many people I mean, golly, anyway,
- 1:31:18Speaker 1: I don't even uh and injured over five hundred in
- 1:31:21Speaker 1: Las Vegas before taking his own life. He had multiple
- 1:31:25Speaker 1: weapons of arsenal, firearms, explosives, and AMMO in his thirty
- 1:31:30Speaker 1: second floor room at the Mandalaid bay Uh in Vegas.
- 1:31:34Speaker 1: He checked in on last Thursday. He used a hammer
- 1:31:37Speaker 1: to break the two windows and then fired into the
- 1:31:39Speaker 1: crowd at the Root ninety one harvest fest across the street.
- 1:31:43Speaker 1: Authorities say that hotel staffers such as maids, were in
- 1:31:47Speaker 1: and out of the room. No one reports having seen
- 1:31:50Speaker 1: anything unusual. Take a listen at a female eye witness
- 1:31:54Speaker 1: as she recalls the seconds after the shooting started. Everyone
- 1:31:59Speaker 1: was just like literally laying on top of each other
- 1:32:01Speaker 1: trying to get out of the way, and the shots
- 1:32:04Speaker 1: just kept coming, and we ran and everybody's hiding everywhere.
- 1:32:08Speaker 1: I mean they're hiding under the bleachers and the stanchions
- 1:32:11Speaker 1: and anywhere they could. And everyone's telling us to run
- 1:32:13Speaker 1: run as fast as you can. Wow. Yeah, I mean,
- 1:32:17Speaker 1: can you just imagine, you know what those people must
- 1:32:21Speaker 1: have gone through what they're going through. It's absolutely horrible.
- 1:32:25Speaker 1: It's horrific, and you know what, we gotta do something.
- 1:32:30Speaker 1: How many before we do something, because right now, man
- 1:32:35Speaker 1: reacting to it ain't enough. It's too late. I mean,
- 1:32:38Speaker 1: hats off to the first responses and everything. I'm not
- 1:32:41Speaker 1: talking about that type of reaction. I'm talking about what
- 1:32:43Speaker 1: we gotta keep going through before somebody passes some bills
- 1:32:48Speaker 1: to say, hey man, we're gonna slow this way down.
- 1:32:51Speaker 1: It's a bill, man, all we got to do is
- 1:32:53Speaker 1: pass a bill. Well, what what is the what's in
- 1:32:56Speaker 1: the bill? You let me listen to me. The bill
- 1:33:02Speaker 1: that they want to do. Now, it's gonna make buying
- 1:33:04Speaker 1: a silence so easy because it's easier because the silence
- 1:33:08Speaker 1: is really no one should have a silence unless you're
- 1:33:12Speaker 1: doing something you're not supposed to be doing. That's what
- 1:33:15Speaker 1: a silence is for. If you don't want anybody here,
- 1:33:18Speaker 1: you shooting, Here comes a silence. Well, now they want
- 1:33:21Speaker 1: to be able to make it easy to buy a silence.
- 1:33:23Speaker 1: That's not our damn problem, though. Our damn problem is
- 1:33:28Speaker 1: the Second Amendment that needs amended. Well, that's what Hillary
- 1:33:32Speaker 1: is saying put politics aside, stand up to the n
- 1:33:36Speaker 1: r A, that that's that's why them damn skinheads and
- 1:33:41Speaker 1: punk ask clans and the white supremacist hate groups can
- 1:33:46Speaker 1: get a permit cause we're America. We can get a
- 1:33:49Speaker 1: permit and walk down a peaceful street to tell everybody
- 1:33:53Speaker 1: how much we hate them, and we get ass or permit.
- 1:33:58Speaker 1: I don't understand how we keep doing this. They're not protesting.
- 1:34:04Speaker 1: The clan is not protesting. The skinheads and and the
- 1:34:08Speaker 1: white supremacy are not protesting. They're promoting a line of thinking.
- 1:34:15Speaker 1: Protest is different. Protests is some signs fighting against something. Now,
- 1:34:22Speaker 1: what you can't do is fight against the life of
- 1:34:25Speaker 1: somebody else you don't like Jews, blacks and gaye So
- 1:34:29Speaker 1: now here you come. Hold on, man, you can't get
- 1:34:33Speaker 1: a permit for that. See see see we're so free,
- 1:34:38Speaker 1: we we're so free. We're stupid. We're stupid free we
- 1:34:44Speaker 1: won country that we really need to pull back on
- 1:34:46Speaker 1: some of the freedoms. Because if you're telling me, if
- 1:34:51Speaker 1: you're telling me, since you want to have this argument
- 1:34:54Speaker 1: about this kneeling for the flag and honoring the soldiers,
- 1:34:57Speaker 1: which I do, you're trying to tell me that these
- 1:35:00Speaker 1: brave women and women are over here fighting for our freedom.
- 1:35:03Speaker 1: Is the freedom that your ass can walk in the
- 1:35:05Speaker 1: gun and turn around and turn it on a bunch
- 1:35:07Speaker 1: of people. That's what they over there phone, Because I
- 1:35:09Speaker 1: think if you told them that's what they was over
- 1:35:12Speaker 1: there phone. You see what I'm saying. This Second Amendment
- 1:35:16Speaker 1: needs adjusted. Yeah, it does. It really does feel that.
- 1:35:21Speaker 1: They call it Steve the Sportsman's Heritage and Recreational Enhancement Act,
- 1:35:28Speaker 1: and it is normally serves to enhance opportunities to hunt
- 1:35:33Speaker 1: and fish on federal land, but it also includes provisions
- 1:35:38Speaker 1: that will abbreviate the costly background check required to buy suppressors,
- 1:35:43Speaker 1: which we know nobody needs a silence unless you're doing
- 1:35:49Speaker 1: something wrong, right, and why are we trying to abbreviate it?
- 1:35:53Speaker 1: Come on, we gotta go. Father m help your children.
- 1:36:25Speaker 1: Don't let them fall by the side of the road,
- 1:36:37Speaker 1: and teach them to love one another. The taman my
- 1:36:47Speaker 1: fast of place in their heart, because jeesesous, he he
- 1:37:06Speaker 1: won't let you dine. And I know he like forever
- 1:37:24Speaker 1: in my heart. You got to walk home, walk up
- 1:37:35Speaker 1: through temptation because he and his wisdom will be on
- 1:37:46Speaker 1: the bit had I known that you do, in his
- 1:37:54Speaker 1: word will be on stimation in all. For all Steve
