- 2:07Speaker 1: Come on dig me now. One and only Steve Harvey
- 2:12Speaker 1: got a radio still, Steve Harvey got a radio show.
- 2:18Speaker 1: Sometimes when I chuckle like that reminds me of my
- 2:20Speaker 1: oldest brother to pass or where he used to laugh
- 2:22Speaker 1: like that. It's kind of funny how jeans get passed
- 2:25Speaker 1: down through the line. I don't know why I told
- 2:27Speaker 1: y'all that, just sont to share with you. That's all.
- 2:30Speaker 1: As always, always kind of ask God to help me,
- 2:33Speaker 1: you know, um, and and and and I had I
- 2:37Speaker 1: had gotten off track a little bit because one of
- 2:41Speaker 1: the principles of success I want to share with you
- 2:44Speaker 1: all today is a law of attraction that is a
- 2:47Speaker 1: very very serious principle. It cannot be ignored. The law
- 2:53Speaker 1: of attraction. And I'm not going to be able to
- 2:57Speaker 1: explain it to you as well as the book Secrets can,
- 3:01Speaker 1: or as well as some people. I can only articulate
- 3:04Speaker 1: it to you the way that I see it. The
- 3:08Speaker 1: law of attraction is very, very real. The law of
- 3:12Speaker 1: attraction is a principle of success. It is something that
- 3:17Speaker 1: everyone has to adhere to. Now, whether you know the
- 3:21Speaker 1: law of attraction or not, it does not make it
- 3:25Speaker 1: not exists for you. This is the case where ignorance
- 3:31Speaker 1: is not the excuse. The fact that no one told
- 3:35Speaker 1: it to you. There is no pass for this one.
- 3:39Speaker 1: The fact that you never heard it before it does
- 3:43Speaker 1: not allow you to do it any other way. So
- 3:46Speaker 1: let me see if I can put it to you
- 3:49Speaker 1: best I can. The law of attraction, the law of attraction,
- 3:53Speaker 1: to put it real simple, is the thing that you
- 3:57Speaker 1: focus on, the thing that you talk about, the thing
- 4:02Speaker 1: that you think of, is the thing that you draw
- 4:05Speaker 1: to you. It's what you attract to you. That's basically
- 4:09Speaker 1: the law of attraction. The thing that you talk about,
- 4:13Speaker 1: the thing that you think about, the thing that you
- 4:17Speaker 1: focus on, whatever it is that is what you attract.
- 4:23Speaker 1: The law of attraction does not differentiate from positive and negative.
- 4:31Speaker 1: It only does what it does. What I am saying
- 4:36Speaker 1: is this in the law of attraction. No matter what
- 4:41Speaker 1: you think of, no matter what occupies your time, no
- 4:46Speaker 1: matter what you say, or no matter what the focus is,
- 4:50Speaker 1: positive or negative, the law of attraction knows neither one.
- 4:53Speaker 1: It just attracts it. So let's use some examples here.
- 5:00Speaker 1: I can just your best example always uses me that way.
- 5:03Speaker 1: I ain't got to figure out nothing. I can just
- 5:05Speaker 1: tell you my side of it. I was in a
- 5:08Speaker 1: lot of debt one time in my life. This is
- 5:12Speaker 1: before any of you knew me, so you can understand.
- 5:16Speaker 1: In case you're not think I don't. I don't want
- 5:20Speaker 1: you to think that this conversation is about your income level,
- 5:23Speaker 1: cause it's not. It doesn't matter what the income level
- 5:26Speaker 1: you are. The law of attraction works in all aspects money, family, relationships, job, career, love.
- 5:34Speaker 1: It just works that way. Okay, here's the deal. I
- 5:37Speaker 1: kept saying, man, this debt is killing me. I got
- 5:41Speaker 1: to get out. That's what I thought was a good goal,
- 5:46Speaker 1: to get out of debt. But what I kept saying was,
- 5:50Speaker 1: you know, I kept talking about debt, and you know
- 5:53Speaker 1: what it kept doing it kept attracting debt to me.
- 5:58Speaker 1: So guess what I could get out? That's all? Is
- 6:03Speaker 1: that crazy? That is an amazing law to understand. What
- 6:08Speaker 1: turned it around for me was I started claiming a
- 6:13Speaker 1: life of abundance. God, I am seeking a life of abundance.
- 6:20Speaker 1: I want to have more than enough. I want to
- 6:24Speaker 1: be able to help other people. I just want to
- 6:27Speaker 1: have a law of attraction so that I be able
- 6:30Speaker 1: to provide my family the lifestyle that I want to
- 6:32Speaker 1: provide them. I want heavily father, to be able to
- 6:36Speaker 1: be an example of your goodness and your grace in
- 6:40Speaker 1: my life. That is what I started saying. And guess what,
- 6:45Speaker 1: that's what I started attractive. I'm going to have a
- 6:49Speaker 1: great relationship with my children. I'm going to be the
- 6:52Speaker 1: father that I always wanted to be. I'm going to
- 6:56Speaker 1: be a good father. I'm going to be a good husband,
- 7:00Speaker 1: and now I am going to do the right things.
- 7:03Speaker 1: I am going to be the type of example that
- 7:06Speaker 1: my sons can look no further and go I can
- 7:09Speaker 1: be like my dad. I want to be able to
- 7:11Speaker 1: be a place, a beacon of light and hope for
- 7:14Speaker 1: my daughters to come to. That's what I started saying,
- 7:17Speaker 1: that's what I started attracting to my life. The law
- 7:22Speaker 1: of attraction does not care if you want it to
- 7:26Speaker 1: be positive or negative. The law of attraction just attracts
- 7:32Speaker 1: whatever it is. You focus on, what you think about,
- 7:36Speaker 1: the words that come out your mouth. You cannot overlook
- 7:40Speaker 1: this principle of success and expect to make it because
- 7:44Speaker 1: of the fact that you've never heard of the law
- 7:46Speaker 1: of attraction, because of the fact that you don't know
- 7:49Speaker 1: how it really operates. It does not make it not
- 7:53Speaker 1: exist in your day. You can start today attracting the
- 7:59Speaker 1: right things to your life by changing what you say,
- 8:05Speaker 1: what you think, what you focus on. Change the focus,
- 8:12Speaker 1: change the thought, change the words that come out your mouth,
- 8:17Speaker 1: and guess what you change what you attract to yourself.
- 8:22Speaker 1: You have got to ask yourself, why is it? Man? Man,
- 8:26Speaker 1: let me tell you something. Somebody said the Bishop Jake's
- 8:28Speaker 1: one time. They said, man, everything you touch turns to gold.
- 8:33Speaker 1: He said, no, I just don't touch everything. Man, This
- 8:39Speaker 1: is crazy. Come on, man, he has a focus. He
- 8:44Speaker 1: has a focus. See, he ain't just everywhere. Bring me
- 8:48Speaker 1: any idea, Let me try that. No, no, no, man,
- 8:51Speaker 1: he has a focus. He has a law of attraction
- 8:55Speaker 1: that's working, where he's attracting things to his life that
- 8:59Speaker 1: that's positive that he can't ask not to say, Bishop James,
- 9:03Speaker 1: don't have problems because we talk often and man, he
- 9:06Speaker 1: have them. Oh please understand. And he not trying to
- 9:09Speaker 1: attract the problems. But what he will attract is the
- 9:13Speaker 1: proper solution for the problem. And ain't that all you need? Sometimes?
- 9:18Speaker 1: God did not say that it would be easy. He
- 9:22Speaker 1: just said he would be with you. And if God
- 9:25Speaker 1: is with you, who can be against you? God will
- 9:28Speaker 1: make your enemies your footstool. God is powerful man, His
- 9:32Speaker 1: word is true. He do what he say he gonna do. Now,
- 9:35Speaker 1: all we got to do is do some of what
- 9:38Speaker 1: we say. We ain't gonna do everything, just do some
- 9:40Speaker 1: of what we say. Okay, here's a deal. God is
- 9:43Speaker 1: going to do everything he say. He going to you
- 9:47Speaker 1: and I just got to do some of the stuff
- 9:49Speaker 1: we say we're gonna do because he already know we
- 9:51Speaker 1: ain't gonna do all of them. Yea, he clear on that.
- 9:53Speaker 1: He clear on that. All right, thank you you're listening,
- 10:02Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen. It is the beginning, the dawning of
- 10:05Speaker 1: a new day. This is a brand new situation. It's
- 10:09Speaker 1: an opportunity, so blessing. It's all in that hovel you
- 10:13Speaker 1: want to look at it, But get up and be
- 10:15Speaker 1: glad that you up this morning. If you're on your
- 10:18Speaker 1: way in from work, be glad. I know you're tired,
- 10:21Speaker 1: but at least you got a job to be tired from.
- 10:25Speaker 1: Twenty twenty was rough, but we are still here, Thank
- 10:29Speaker 1: your Lord. Steve Harvin Mortar show owning, cracking mask up.
- 10:36Speaker 1: Still washing the hands. I'm gonna admit, though, I don't
- 10:39Speaker 1: wash my hands as much. You know, I'm gonna huh yeah,
- 10:46Speaker 1: Well I don't shake hands though, but I have slowed
- 10:50Speaker 1: down on the hand because I was washing hands at
- 10:52Speaker 1: my house. I was so damn scared. Yeah, every time
- 10:56Speaker 1: I walked past bat when I was washing my hands,
- 10:58Speaker 1: because you know when it when the pandemic first hit,
- 11:00Speaker 1: we didn't know nothing about it. I thought the wolf
- 11:02Speaker 1: got the lord, it's in the hell, it's on the bag.
- 11:06Speaker 1: I wasn't touching flowers outside. I was scared of taking
- 11:09Speaker 1: lysaw wipe, wiping down my patio furniture. Scared to death. Man,
- 11:16Speaker 1: well I ain't gonna go through everybody. How y'all doing
- 11:18Speaker 1: this morning doing, Miss Monica. How you doing? Just wave
- 11:24Speaker 1: at the zoom camera like include Monica and now and
- 11:27Speaker 1: then somebody gotta do it. So you're feeling all right?
- 11:33Speaker 1: You sound good? Yeah? Yeah, you know Monk, he's still
- 11:36Speaker 1: out here in LA so it's counted early. But you know,
- 11:41Speaker 1: I'm saying this black outside. I know that black. I
- 11:47Speaker 1: turned this zoom around. It's blackness sitting lit up. It
- 11:49Speaker 1: looked like I'm sowhere bright. But he ain't nobody up button. Yeah, man,
- 11:55Speaker 1: this ain't New York, no South La. Yeah, but I'm
- 12:01Speaker 1: good man, feeling good, still still riding a high from
- 12:06Speaker 1: the verses though. Man, I ain't gonna lie to y'all real,
- 12:09Speaker 1: I just it's just what such a And the more
- 12:12Speaker 1: I think about it, man, because you know what I mean,
- 12:15Speaker 1: I've been thinking about it in different terms. Of all
- 12:19Speaker 1: the people in the world, God allowed me to be
- 12:25Speaker 1: the only one to sit between the Osley Brothers and
- 12:29Speaker 1: earth Wind at five ye I mean really and from
- 12:33Speaker 1: I mean, I mean that's how I had to look
- 12:35Speaker 1: at it. You know, of all the people who could
- 12:38Speaker 1: have been that on, God do his grace man desert
- 12:43Speaker 1: gave it to me. Boy, God, and you kilt it
- 12:51Speaker 1: with that purple suit on. Boy. And what's that rock
- 12:56Speaker 1: I had on the side of the hash Shelly amateurs
- 13:00Speaker 1: Steve Ames, he said, anthemist, anthemist amethyst. When I had
- 13:07Speaker 1: a hat made, I told a dude who put that
- 13:09Speaker 1: on the side on that he said, gods great, Yeah, yeah,
- 13:13Speaker 1: pretty natural stone amethyst, Yeah that on that top? Yeah,
- 13:20Speaker 1: to match your city. Yeah, yeah, that's what she said.
- 13:26Speaker 1: Was over you know, he said anthemist. And you acted
- 13:31Speaker 1: like you nailed it when you first told this about it.
- 13:35Speaker 1: I want to tell you what a friend of mine
- 13:36Speaker 1: said from Cleveland. Will we come back down all right,
- 13:39Speaker 1: and we'll be back at thirty two minutes after the hour.

- 13:58Speaker 1: top of the hour. And I can't tell you some
- 14:01Speaker 1: sh we're excited about that. Uh huh. The hat I
- 14:04Speaker 1: had on that the versus the white hat looked with
- 14:07Speaker 1: the amethyst amethyst amethist on it. Yes, A partner of
- 14:13Speaker 1: mine called me the old school cat. Boar, boar that
- 14:18Speaker 1: shoot Steve, that's shooting that briam dog. He was nashing.
- 14:22Speaker 1: You had them pimp rocks on it? I didn't. I
- 14:27Speaker 1: just I knew what he was talking about. Had them
- 14:29Speaker 1: pimp rocks on it? Why? I said, go ahead, boy,
- 14:34Speaker 1: I was Cleveland down there, Iland down all right? You
- 14:39Speaker 1: ready for Chief Love Officer Steve Harvey. Let's go all right.
- 14:44Speaker 1: This one is from Carlin, Atlanta. He says, I'm married
- 14:47Speaker 1: to a woman that had been in a relationship with
- 14:49Speaker 1: a woman for ten years before we started dating. She
- 14:53Speaker 1: said it was a phase she was going through. So
- 14:56Speaker 1: I can only trust what she's told me. Her ex
- 14:59Speaker 1: girlfriend and distilling her life, and they're good, good friends.
- 15:03Speaker 1: I don't mind when the ex girlfriend comes over, but
- 15:06Speaker 1: I'm wondering if she'd be as understanding if my ex
- 15:09Speaker 1: girlfriend wanted to come over all of the time. Am
- 15:12Speaker 1: I tripping over? Nothing works? Yeah? Hey, now she ain't
- 15:20Speaker 1: gonna be as understanding, right of course not. You're not
- 15:24Speaker 1: coming over. The ex can't come over to my house. Well,
- 15:29Speaker 1: she's coming over to his house. No, that ain't happening.
- 15:34Speaker 1: Your ex coming to your ex is coming to our
- 15:37Speaker 1: house now, so he should shut man, wem, I don't
- 15:40Speaker 1: give a damn if it's your former doll, not the
- 15:48Speaker 1: ex pet. No, no, no, no. So so you're saying
- 15:53Speaker 1: he should shut it down, it's no way I'm I'm
- 15:56Speaker 1: going for that. I'm just telling you what I'm doing.
- 16:00Speaker 1: You might have a different relationship with her, but no,
- 16:03Speaker 1: y'all slept together. Now we married, but you still coming
- 16:08Speaker 1: over like you ain't got no thoughts. So sleeping together, man,
- 16:11Speaker 1: miss me with that, I fit to you that that's
- 16:14Speaker 1: a recipe for disaster. All right, lets y'all work something
- 16:18Speaker 1: out between all y'all today. That's what y'all that's different.
- 16:21Speaker 1: But no, I'm not fit to do that. Break it out.
- 16:25Speaker 1: Everybody ain't attractive, Tommy. We're moving on. My husband owns
- 16:35Speaker 1: a detail shop and I have a teenage brother that
- 16:38Speaker 1: works there part time. My little brother told me that
- 16:40Speaker 1: my husband flirts with women and gives a lot of
- 16:43Speaker 1: them free car washers. I asked my husband about it,
- 16:46Speaker 1: and he got mad. He said, my brother's out of
- 16:49Speaker 1: line and he'll take care of him. Now. He's being
- 16:52Speaker 1: hard on my little brother, claiming he's making a man
- 16:55Speaker 1: out of him. Because real men don't gossip. Is this
- 16:58Speaker 1: because he's guilty, No, it's because your little brother doing
- 17:02Speaker 1: little punk stuff. He ain't posted it. The little brother
- 17:09Speaker 1: shouldn't have said something, but he shouldn't have said nothing either.
- 17:12Speaker 1: You want that job, don't it? Oh? Wait, who shouldn't
- 17:15Speaker 1: have said nothing? Time? I don't think you think she do?
- 17:18Speaker 1: You think she should have went to a hood with
- 17:20Speaker 1: her or her little brother saying well, I mean, of
- 17:22Speaker 1: course she gonna go to him. But the little brother
- 17:24Speaker 1: down there, he didn't hit his man. Give you a job?
- 17:26Speaker 1: You down here till he talking to other girls and
- 17:28Speaker 1: be giving them free car washing. You got to get
- 17:30Speaker 1: away free stuff every nine and thee and to run
- 17:32Speaker 1: your business. But if but that he's being protective of
- 17:36Speaker 1: his big sisters, I got him being protective and I
- 17:39Speaker 1: and I understand that about him. But what you don't know, man,
- 17:43Speaker 1: is you messing up the bigger picture because you're young.
- 17:45Speaker 1: You don't know that. That's like, if you got a
- 17:47Speaker 1: donut shop and you want your donut beings to pick up,
- 17:51Speaker 1: you gotta get ways to free donuts. Yeah, and you
- 17:53Speaker 1: gotta flirt with the people that you're you gotta compliment
- 17:57Speaker 1: them so they come back. That's just good business. Loyalty customer,
- 18:04Speaker 1: loyalty girl, that's service. That's just good baby. Show looking good,
- 18:09Speaker 1: then let me give you a free car washing. Looking
- 18:11Speaker 1: so good. I guess what she's gonna come back pay
- 18:13Speaker 1: for the next Okay, so she wants to know it's
- 18:15Speaker 1: her husband guilty of doing anything with these women that
- 18:18Speaker 1: he's flirting with. No, not at all, it's just business.
- 18:22Speaker 1: You got nothing with that. Now he hard on your
- 18:25Speaker 1: little brother because he tried to turn your little brother
- 18:27Speaker 1: into a man, I said, waxing again, working the hell
- 18:35Speaker 1: out of all right. Marion and Norman, Oklahoma says I'm
- 18:42Speaker 1: an avid golfer, Steve. This one is really for you,
- 18:44Speaker 1: and I have a group of guys that I golf
- 18:46Speaker 1: with in my community. I'm a black man and all
- 18:49Speaker 1: of my golf buddies are black. One of my white
- 18:52Speaker 1: neighbors asked to golf with us this coming Saturday, and
- 18:56Speaker 1: three of the four guys in my group said they
- 18:58Speaker 1: didn't want him to join us because they'd have to
- 19:00Speaker 1: censor their jokes and couldn't be themselves. I see this
- 19:04Speaker 1: guy often in the neighborhood, so it might be awkward
- 19:07Speaker 1: after I tell him that he's not welcome to join us.
- 19:10Speaker 1: How should I handle this? Well, it's for y'all. You
- 19:13Speaker 1: are fossome. You can't play with five on the team.
- 19:19Speaker 1: Ain't no golf course gonna let you run with five.
- 19:22Speaker 1: They do every nine and then, but you can't really
- 19:25Speaker 1: run with five. And you know what's gonna happen. Y'all
- 19:28Speaker 1: down there talking that smack y'all talk, you know, and
- 19:30Speaker 1: they day themselves, you know, and it's all right, but
- 19:34Speaker 1: you know you might have to just go play with
- 19:36Speaker 1: him by yourself, you know, because you boys gonna talk
- 19:40Speaker 1: like they talk when they round each other. They just comfortable.
- 19:43Speaker 1: They don't want to censor what they got to say. Okay,
- 19:47Speaker 1: you know how they go. Man, let's just be real.
- 19:50Speaker 1: You know, ain't no three white men invited your ass
- 19:54Speaker 1: to come play? All right, we're moving on kiss blank
- 20:02Speaker 1: guys in the neighborhood and three animate inviting her black
- 20:05Speaker 1: ass come nowhere. He ain't heard it, No, that's what
- 20:11Speaker 1: you what your friends is talking about. Get out here
- 20:17Speaker 1: they playing golf now. All of a sudden, I'm a
- 20:19Speaker 1: bit supporter Sharon Osbourne and all hell are gonna breaking.
- 20:22Speaker 1: Wait what you heard lay it against Steve. We gotta
- 20:30Speaker 1: go coming up next, and is the nephew with run
- 20:33Speaker 1: that prank back? Right after this. You're listening Steve Harvey
- 20:37Speaker 1: Morning Show. Coming up at the top of the hour,
- 20:40Speaker 1: fresh off the Versus battle, Ronald and Ernie Eisley, better
- 20:44Speaker 1: known as the Eisley Brothers, will be in the building.
- 20:47Speaker 1: They're gonna be our special guests. He's gonna tell you
- 20:50Speaker 1: about his brand new single Friends and Family featuring Snoop Dogg.
- 20:55Speaker 1: That's at the top of the hour. But right now
- 20:57Speaker 1: the nephew is here to run that prank back. What
- 21:00Speaker 1: you got for his nest? This is the ring? The ring? Yeah, scary,

- 21:59Speaker 1: I've looked at your ring over and over and this
- 22:03Speaker 1: this ring is probably worth maybe fifty dollars. Excuse me,
- 22:08Speaker 1: I've been I've been in this business for over twenty years.
- 22:11Speaker 1: But you know what, I'm confused on what you just said.
- 22:14Speaker 1: And I understand that what I'm trying to explain to
- 22:16Speaker 1: you is that I've been in this business for over
- 22:18Speaker 1: twenty years. I've seen so many different pieces of jewelry
- 22:21Speaker 1: and this is something that you that you buy late
- 22:24Speaker 1: night on an infomercial for nineteen ninety nine. This is
- 22:28Speaker 1: a cubic Saclonian stones and the gold is not real
- 22:32Speaker 1: at all. It's like, wait, wait, you lost me. You
- 22:36Speaker 1: lost me as much money as my fend make and
- 22:38Speaker 1: as much money as my father is putting down on
- 22:41Speaker 1: his winding or has put down, and you're gonna understand
- 22:44Speaker 1: everything you're saying. But Denise, honestly, what I need to
- 22:47Speaker 1: do is hold on. Wait wait I need you to
- 22:50Speaker 1: hold on because we need to convictims. Wait. Wait man,
- 22:54Speaker 1: First of all, I can't wait wait wait wait wait
- 22:57Speaker 1: wait hold do you wait? Wait? Wait? What are you
- 23:04Speaker 1: trying to what you're trying to do? Sir? I need
- 23:07Speaker 1: I need you to repeat what you just said to me. Okay,
- 23:10Speaker 1: I need of personal stuff. Man, you oh you hit it.
- 23:14Speaker 1: It's personal now, So I need you to hold on. Okay,
- 23:19Speaker 1: oh she called her man. Okay, thank thank Hello, Victim.
- 23:25Speaker 1: I need to listen to this Jewela that's on the phone.
- 23:28Speaker 1: I want you to hit it that he just told me.
- 23:30Speaker 1: What's what's the problem? What you mean, what's the problem.
- 23:32Speaker 1: He's gonna tell you what the problem is. Gonna hit on, sir,
- 23:34Speaker 1: gonna hit on? Who? Hello? Yeah, who's this? All right?
- 23:38Speaker 1: My name is Gavin. I'm from Diamonds. And actually your wife,
- 23:42Speaker 1: I mean where your fiance? Rather, she brought her ring
- 23:44Speaker 1: in to actually be resized. Yeah, and we we also
- 23:48Speaker 1: did an appraisal on the ring for her. And actually
- 23:52Speaker 1: the ring is estimated to be only in the word
- 23:55Speaker 1: of around fifty dollars. Fifty dollars fifty that's what the
- 23:59Speaker 1: man is, dollars and these, sir, Obviously there's some sort
- 24:04Speaker 1: of mistakes. Sir. Now what you got to say about
- 24:06Speaker 1: that fifty dollars? That's that's got to be some kind
- 24:10Speaker 1: of mistakes. But what'd you say your name was, sir?
- 24:12Speaker 1: My name is Gavin. I work here at Diamonds. I'm
- 24:14Speaker 1: the head jeweler here. I've been here for twenty years.
- 24:17Speaker 1: And there's there's no way that that ring is worth
- 24:20Speaker 1: fifty dollars. I know what I paid for it, So
- 24:22Speaker 1: obviously there's some sort of mistakes. There's not a mistake.
- 24:26Speaker 1: I've been dealing with jury, I've seen it. I couldn't
- 24:28Speaker 1: pretty much look at a ring, but I actually went
- 24:31Speaker 1: into detail on this one, as I do all of them,
- 24:33Speaker 1: and so I promise you this is probably maybe between
- 24:37Speaker 1: forty and fifty dollars for his workers. Now, absolutely not.
- 24:40Speaker 1: That's that's impossible. How is that impossible? He's the jeweler.
- 24:44Speaker 1: You heard him say, he's been doing it for twenty
- 24:45Speaker 1: he's the highest impossible. I don't understand all the money
- 24:49Speaker 1: that my dad is putting down on this wedding and
- 24:51Speaker 1: you don't pay fifty You bought a cheap ring, sir. No, no, no,
- 24:55Speaker 1: I did not buy a team. This is this is
- 24:58Speaker 1: this is obviously some kind of the stake. You didn't
- 25:00Speaker 1: got it. You got that right, you show got that right.
- 25:03Speaker 1: So what you got to say for yourself? Don this?
- 25:07Speaker 1: You can't. I believe that that's right, that this is
- 25:09Speaker 1: obviously some kind of mistair. Oh, it is a mistake.
- 25:12Speaker 1: I'm mistaken thinking I'm gonna get married to the man
- 25:14Speaker 1: of my dream. I do have the engagement ring that
- 25:17Speaker 1: was purchased and bought for your wife. No, I don't
- 25:20Speaker 1: think you I don't think you do. I don't think
- 25:21Speaker 1: you have my ring, because if you have my ring,
- 25:23Speaker 1: you wouldn't be telling me this is worths fifty dollars.
- 25:25Speaker 1: I have the ring that your wife, your fiance brought
- 25:29Speaker 1: in his wife. Yet hold on, hold on. The man
- 25:32Speaker 1: is trying to explain. I'm trying to get to the body.
- 25:35Speaker 1: Thank you, So you have I don't think he has
- 25:37Speaker 1: the right ring. I have the right ring. And what
- 25:39Speaker 1: I'm letting you know, sir, is that this is something
- 25:42Speaker 1: you buy on an infomercial in two dude, you know
- 25:48Speaker 1: I ain't botto damn ring on infomercial. I bought the
- 25:50Speaker 1: ring from a reputable establishment. I have the receipt, I
- 25:54Speaker 1: have the certificate. So obviously the mistake is on your
- 25:57Speaker 1: and where you are the mistakes? Now here? S your all?
- 26:00Speaker 1: A piece of jump? He's been doing it all these years?
- 26:03Speaker 1: How hell he's gonna make a stake worse? You come
- 26:05Speaker 1: off telling me I bought a piece of jump. I
- 26:07Speaker 1: know what I bought. If there's any mistakes that's been made,
- 26:10Speaker 1: it's on your end, world, where it's not on my end. Yeah, Hold,
- 26:14Speaker 1: don't we all? Don't? Lady? You want to think that
- 26:18Speaker 1: my dad has had too much money for this wedding,
- 26:20Speaker 1: So you're don's gonna pay fifty dollars on dollars? But
- 26:22Speaker 1: do all wing you wait till I tell him this? Chill?
- 26:25Speaker 1: Hold on. First of all, I don't appreciate you. I
- 26:28Speaker 1: want to tell you this. This is a typical case
- 26:30Speaker 1: of you trying to put it off for us because
- 26:32Speaker 1: you bought a piece off for fifty bucks. I don't
- 26:34Speaker 1: the money that two dollars don't make it. I get
- 26:36Speaker 1: fifty dollars worth of a ring, then he's hold on,
- 26:38Speaker 1: let me talk to this where you can get the
- 26:40Speaker 1: talk and get dollars. I never heard of it. So
- 26:45Speaker 1: your wife knows exactly where is. She is the one
- 26:47Speaker 1: that brought the ring. And I tell you what, I'm
- 26:49Speaker 1: gonna come down there to see the ring that you're
- 26:51Speaker 1: talking about. If it's not the ring that I gave
- 26:53Speaker 1: my girl, I'm gonna take seventy six hundred dollars out
- 26:56Speaker 1: of your because that's so. Now you wanna jump on
- 27:00Speaker 1: me because you bought your wife a piece. Come on,
- 27:03Speaker 1: you want to put it on me? You you don't
- 27:05Speaker 1: tell me what the I know what the I spin
- 27:08Speaker 1: on the ring, and you I don't kind of trying
- 27:10Speaker 1: to pull. First of all, I don't appreciate you coming
- 27:12Speaker 1: in my household trying to mess my and you want
- 27:14Speaker 1: to come to me with this. I know the ring
- 27:16Speaker 1: betta be real. No, man, if I were you, miss Deniece,
- 27:19Speaker 1: I would not marry somebody that's gonna be I'm coming there.
- 27:22Speaker 1: I'm looking for your pocket and you know what, you
- 27:25Speaker 1: don't get the ring in a right man, you're gonna
- 27:27Speaker 1: go at it. Could I say one more thing to
- 27:29Speaker 1: both of you? Are better? I tell you what if
- 27:31Speaker 1: they did? I want to hear me and you're gonna
- 27:32Speaker 1: have some more problems. This is nephew. Tell me from
- 27:35Speaker 1: the Steve Arvin Morning Show. Y'all just got pranked by

- 30:21Speaker 1: my man, and you know what, yeah, hey man, but

- 30:37Speaker 1: it was it was, it was. It was an honor
- 30:38Speaker 1: for me. Man. I couldn't have I would saying I've
- 30:40Speaker 1: been you know, I've been still kind of washing in
- 30:42Speaker 1: the glow of it, you know what I mean, because
- 30:45Speaker 1: I really realized, man, because of my daughter. She sent
- 30:47Speaker 1: me a text that really summed it up for me,
- 30:50Speaker 1: and I hadn't a thought about it like this. She said, Dad,
- 30:53Speaker 1: it was such a pleasure watching you sit there with
- 30:55Speaker 1: your friends and singing along to all the music. That
- 30:59Speaker 1: was really the track of your life. And it really
- 31:03Speaker 1: it really hit home with me, man, because the Osley
- 31:07Speaker 1: Brothers Earth Winning five, all I need is Stevie maid
- 31:14Speaker 1: and and and the Ohio Players and the Old Jays.
- 31:17Speaker 1: That was That's it. That's that's it though, That's me

- 31:32Speaker 1: it's been four years since you've come out with anything
- 31:36Speaker 1: but but oh, by the way, though, let me say this,
- 31:39Speaker 1: it's been four years, but oh my goodness, after all
- 31:43Speaker 1: these years to still be making new music. How how
- 31:48Speaker 1: did this song come about? Anyway? Man? All right? Recording them?
- 31:56Speaker 1: So that's about uh, twenty eighteen. This song was demo
- 32:03Speaker 1: from me and decided to do this song and especially
- 32:11Speaker 1: yes this time with the perfect time for this song,
- 32:15Speaker 1: was intending it's going on and uh, I get that
- 32:19Speaker 1: one in my studio at home and did it and
- 32:26Speaker 1: we decided to release it. And he's out there now
- 32:31Speaker 1: and everybody was loving on it. Hey, y'all, Ron and Ernie,
- 32:35Speaker 1: hang on one second here, everybody sit tight. When we
- 32:38Speaker 1: come back, we're gonna hear the new hit. Friends and family,
- 32:41Speaker 1: by the ask your brothers right back, right, right back,
- 32:43Speaker 1: all right, Steve. Time for today's headlines, ladies and gentlemen,
- 32:47Speaker 1: miss Anne Tripp, thank you very much, everybody. This is
- 32:51Speaker 1: a trip for the news. Well, everything was focused again
- 32:53Speaker 1: on Minneapolis yesterday. As you would expect, the focus remained
- 32:57Speaker 1: on the pressure that Derek Chauvin placed on George Floyd's neck.
- 33:01Speaker 1: Use of force expert Jody Steiger of the LAPD was
- 33:04Speaker 1: asked about the force that Chauvin used on mister Floyd
- 33:06Speaker 1: even though he was handcuffed behind his back and face
- 33:09Speaker 1: down on the street with another cop on his back. Specifically,
- 33:12Speaker 1: the prosecutor wanted to know if Chauvin ever let up
- 33:15Speaker 1: even a little bit with his knee. Were you able
- 33:18Speaker 1: to observe the relative position of the defendant using the
- 33:23Speaker 1: milestone video from the start of the restraint period to
- 33:27Speaker 1: this point, yes, did it change? No? Never. Stygradded that
- 33:33Speaker 1: Chauvin's use of deadly force continued even though no force
- 33:36Speaker 1: was necessary at that point, because he said mister Floyd
- 33:38Speaker 1: was under control, he was not resisting, and there were
- 33:41Speaker 1: other cops either restraining him too or standing by. Health
- 33:44Speaker 1: officials say that the Corona variant that is twice as
- 33:48Speaker 1: contagious as the original is now the dominant strain. I
- 33:50Speaker 1: hate to tell you in the cod In the US,
- 33:52Speaker 1: folks at the Centers for Disease Control, continue to warm people.
- 33:56Speaker 1: Please do not lift all COVID safety restrictions too soon.
- 33:59Speaker 1: They're asking the states to be careful about that. They're
- 34:01Speaker 1: asking people to please wear the masks and really be careful.
- 34:05Speaker 1: Continue to be careful because we're not out of the woods. Basically,
- 34:08Speaker 1: yet that's basically what they're saying. The House has voted
- 34:11Speaker 1: to reintroduce the Violence Against Women Act, the nineteen ninety
- 34:14Speaker 1: four measure, which would provide resources for the victims of
- 34:16Speaker 1: sexual and domestic violence. There was a bipartisan support for
- 34:20Speaker 1: the basic bill the first time around, but a split
- 34:22Speaker 1: occurred over added gun control on transgender provisions, So we'll
- 34:26Speaker 1: see what happens there. It looks like a man named
- 34:28Speaker 1: Giuliani may run for a public office. Rudy Giuliani's son Andrew,
- 34:33Speaker 1: tells The Washington Times that he is seriously considering a
- 34:36Speaker 1: run for governor of New York State next year. Andrew
- 34:40Speaker 1: Giuliani says that outside of anyone named Trump, he thinks
- 34:43Speaker 1: he has the best chance to win as a Republican
- 34:45Speaker 1: and quote take back New York State. That's how he
- 34:48Speaker 1: puts it. As his father, Rudy served as Donald Trump's
- 34:50Speaker 1: personal a lawyer. Andrew reportedly earned the ninety five grant
- 34:54Speaker 1: as Trump's special assistant, and he was the associate director
- 34:57Speaker 1: of the White House Office for Public le He's on well. Finally,
- 35:01Speaker 1: a survey of forty three countries, believe it or not,
- 35:03Speaker 1: shows that the most stolen food item is cheese. In fact,
- 35:07Speaker 1: in this country, grilled cheese sandwiches are the most popular
- 35:10Speaker 1: in the country. I love grilled cheese. I love grilled cheese.
- 35:15Speaker 1: Grilled cheese loves me. That's what I'm talking. Whatever you're
- 35:19Speaker 1: talking about. After cheese comes fresh meat, chocolate, booze, seafood
- 35:24Speaker 1: and infant formula. Now back to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 35:27Speaker 1: You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, everybody, we're back.
- 35:32Speaker 1: I want to hear the song man, So let's play

- 35:48Speaker 1: the drinks. Is gonna be a car turning off the music?
- 35:53Speaker 1: Real love? Right, everybody? All right? And he's spoken place
- 35:58Speaker 1: some cards. Just break yourself up at all. He's okay
- 36:01Speaker 1: to take somebody soon and get your prove a warming.
- 36:09Speaker 1: Couldn't be to see my people from together talking about
- 36:23Speaker 1: I'm talking about friend and now everyone is getting a
- 36:35Speaker 1: long building and he is all side. Why don't we
- 36:39Speaker 1: just go on and call far where are we you?
- 36:44Speaker 1: That's from my knees, from all the times we shared
- 36:46Speaker 1: to all the year Leasica toldso the ones that we
- 36:50Speaker 1: loved and we missing. Could not be he couldn't be
- 36:58Speaker 1: to see my to come together talking about friend camel
- 37:10Speaker 1: nor I'm talking about friend and camel. Oh we have
- 37:23Speaker 1: much receial lad each and what we went through we
- 37:28Speaker 1: went through together, said together, said through all day all

- 38:29Speaker 1: mamma say, stopped the music because you want to take
- 38:31Speaker 1: a photo, so we're obliged to step to the side.
- 38:34Speaker 1: Come now, a whole fam doing the electric side. All right, y'all,
- 38:38Speaker 1: that's the new hit, Friends and Family. Hang on, everybody,

- 39:50Speaker 1: I'm gonna just put it out there in the universe.
- 39:53Speaker 1: Just ain't nothing big, just ten city. Do all the
- 39:56Speaker 1: ten majors and h us this check and let's go.
- 40:04Speaker 1: But cut us and then Hey, brothers, and then let's

- 40:16Speaker 1: you better think rich you're impressing yourself. Dog do a documentary.
- 40:24Speaker 1: And then and then and then I think we add

- 44:50Speaker 1: a part of the app. And what we got going well,
- 44:53Speaker 1: I don't even know who who would give you my information.

- 44:58Speaker 1: know who, who's who? Who gave us your number or whatever,
- 45:01Speaker 1: But they just told us you would be good for
- 45:03Speaker 1: being on the on the app tomorrow morning. Like I said,
- 45:06Speaker 1: we're friend to go live, so we're trying to get

- 45:55Speaker 1: be on here, but I'm not doing a booty dropping Okay,
- 45:58Speaker 1: so hold on, okay, hold on all right. First of all,
- 46:01Speaker 1: somebody recommended you, you know, like I say, hold on, Now,
- 46:06Speaker 1: we got all the slides field itself for this one.
- 46:09Speaker 1: So you know, I don't want to. I don't want
- 46:11Speaker 1: to have our app there, and then we ain't got
- 46:13Speaker 1: everything on there we need, so we gotta have you
- 46:15Speaker 1: to do this. Look, well, there's a lot of booties. Okay,
- 46:18Speaker 1: I'm not the only one, you know, Thank you. No,
- 46:22Speaker 1: ain't gonna be no booty. So I'm assuming you know,
- 46:24Speaker 1: I don't mean no hard like I say this case,
- 46:26Speaker 1: I don't mean no harm. But let me ask you
- 46:28Speaker 1: this here. So evidently you must have a butt that
- 46:30Speaker 1: people admire. If you know, if they put your name
- 46:33Speaker 1: on here, then you must have a butt that they admired.
- 46:36Speaker 1: You know what I mean. I'm trying to be as
- 46:37Speaker 1: gentleman as possible. You understand what I'm saying. Uh? Is
- 46:40Speaker 1: it a reason why you don't want to, you know, participate?
- 46:43Speaker 1: What ain't nobody's gonna be putting their booty on the
- 46:46Speaker 1: internet some app. No, no, no, okay, so let me

- 46:53Speaker 1: of the other social media outlests. You don't have no
- 46:55Speaker 1: pictures on there or nothing like that, not with my booty. No.
- 46:59Speaker 1: So you're just trying to tell me that all your
- 47:01Speaker 1: pictures are from the waist up. No, they're not awesome
- 47:04Speaker 1: to waist up. But I'm not about to be flashing
- 47:06Speaker 1: my booty and jiggling it for your app. But but
- 47:09Speaker 1: but see, you don't understand what booty drop can do
- 47:11Speaker 1: for you. Booty Drop. Booty Drop can bring a lot

- 47:17Speaker 1: you're gonna meet a lot of people on this booty
- 47:20Speaker 1: Drop app. And that's what I'm gonna trying to say
- 47:21Speaker 1: is I don't want you to knock and tell you
- 47:23Speaker 1: try it now. I say, we put your booty on
- 47:25Speaker 1: there for the first week, and you see how man
- 47:28Speaker 1: it hits you get, and if you don't like it,
- 47:30Speaker 1: then we take it down. That's how I'm saying. Just
- 47:32Speaker 1: you know, listen to k dub. Let me tell you something.
- 47:35Speaker 1: You're not about to put my booty on no app
- 47:38Speaker 1: talking about give it a week? You know I got
- 47:41Speaker 1: a brain, right, Ain't nobody about to be looking at

- 47:48Speaker 1: Give your booty a week on we good. No, not
- 47:52Speaker 1: putting my booty on no Internet. So okay, are you

- 48:00Speaker 1: Why I can say no? Let me just say this
- 48:03Speaker 1: to you. Now, when once Booty Drop blow up and

- 48:26Speaker 1: want to be a star. I'm trying to make you
- 48:28Speaker 1: a star, is what I'm trying to say. I'm all right,
- 48:31Speaker 1: I don't think I'm gonna be an Instagram star from
- 48:33Speaker 1: my booty jiggling. I'm okay, there's plenty of people doing
- 48:36Speaker 1: that already here. You'll find somebody to get that slot.
- 48:40Speaker 1: I'm just trying to make you a star. That's all
- 48:42Speaker 1: I'm trying to do. You know what, I'm really well,

- 53:57Speaker 1: Subject my fiance is for the streets. Dear Stephen, Shirley.
- 54:01Speaker 1: I'm a twenty nine year old, hardworking mother of two,
- 54:04Speaker 1: and I've been engaged for almost a year. I won't
- 54:07Speaker 1: set a date with this man because he's not the
- 54:09Speaker 1: man I thought he was. My fiance is for the streets,
- 54:14Speaker 1: and he's disrespectful with it. When we first started dating
- 54:17Speaker 1: three years ago, I developed a great relationship with his
- 54:20Speaker 1: mom and sisters, but recently they take up for him
- 54:24Speaker 1: when he's messing around on me. He uses them as
- 54:27Speaker 1: his alibi, and if I call them while he's out
- 54:32Speaker 1: at night, they won't answer their phones. This is not
- 54:35Speaker 1: their problem, but I still stopped speaking to all of
- 54:38Speaker 1: them after the last time he disappeared on me. We
- 54:42Speaker 1: were planning to go to Miami for Easter weekend, and
- 54:45Speaker 1: the day before he was washing his clothes and he
- 54:48Speaker 1: pulled out his luggage. He picked a fight with me
- 54:50Speaker 1: over the kind of laundry detergent I bought, and I
- 54:54Speaker 1: was so irritated by him. I gave him the same
- 54:58Speaker 1: amount of negative energy he gave me. Little did I
- 55:01Speaker 1: know that he had plans all along to desert me
- 55:05Speaker 1: and our plans. He kept yelling and then said he
- 55:08Speaker 1: needed to get out for a while to clear his head.
- 55:11Speaker 1: He left the house and then I noticed his suitcase
- 55:14Speaker 1: was gone. I gave him a few hours and then
- 55:16Speaker 1: started calling him. He didn't answer. He came home three
- 55:20Speaker 1: days later like nothing happened. This is the second time
- 55:24Speaker 1: he's done it, and he knows. I'm not talking to
- 55:27Speaker 1: his family, and I don't have any of his friends numbers,
- 55:30Speaker 1: so there was no way to find him. So I
- 55:33Speaker 1: went to his mother's house and told his mother and
- 55:35Speaker 1: his sisters that I was tired of his cheating and
- 55:37Speaker 1: their lies. His mother looked at me in my face
- 55:40Speaker 1: and said that my fiance is a good man and
- 55:43Speaker 1: he's not cheating on me. Do I believe his mother
- 55:46Speaker 1: or call off my wedding and move out now? Really, really,
- 55:50Speaker 1: you know, you did not have to call Steve and
- 55:53Speaker 1: I for this answer, because you already know. You already
- 55:57Speaker 1: know what's up. He disappeared on you before four this
- 56:00Speaker 1: time for three days, came back like nothing happened. I mean,
- 56:04Speaker 1: you believe what you what you know in your head
- 56:08Speaker 1: and in your heart. That's it. That's what you should believe, period.
- 56:12Speaker 1: I mean, how many times does he have to lie
- 56:14Speaker 1: and cheat on you for you to get it that
- 56:16Speaker 1: this is what he does? And what are you waiting
- 56:19Speaker 1: around for? It's only going to be more of the
- 56:22Speaker 1: same if you stay with this guy. And please, Lord,
- 56:25Speaker 1: do not marry this man. Okay, give him back to
- 56:28Speaker 1: his engagement ring and get on with your life. He's
- 56:31Speaker 1: all wrong for you, and you can't let your kids
- 56:34Speaker 1: see you continuing to go through this. The baby still
- 56:38Speaker 1: need to be seeing this, and don't expect his family
- 56:41Speaker 1: to help you. Don't expect that, you know, don't believe
- 56:47Speaker 1: his mom when she says, you know he's a good
- 56:49Speaker 1: man and all that you're living with the man. You
- 56:51Speaker 1: know what a good man is and this is not it. Well,
- 56:53Speaker 1: maybe you don't know what a good man is. I'll
- 56:56Speaker 1: tell you this is not it. Okay. No good man
- 56:59Speaker 1: would do this to you, and you can't continue to
- 57:02Speaker 1: allow them to. No matter how great your relationship you
- 57:07Speaker 1: thought it was with his mom and sisters, you know
- 57:10Speaker 1: they're always gonna be on his side. So dump him.
- 57:14Speaker 1: He is not for you. Let him go and let
- 57:17Speaker 1: the streets have him. Okay. Move on with your life,
- 57:20Speaker 1: you and your kids. You can do way better, Steve.
- 57:23Speaker 1: I just I agree with what Shirley said. I don't
- 57:26Speaker 1: know what else you need here. Your fiance is for
- 57:31Speaker 1: the streets. That's your letter. Yeah, okay, you said nothing
- 57:38Speaker 1: redeeming in this letter at all about him. Twenty nine
- 57:43Speaker 1: year old hard working mother of two. All right, now
- 57:47Speaker 1: you've been engaged to this guy, but you won't set
- 57:51Speaker 1: a date because he with the streets and he disrespectful
- 57:54Speaker 1: with it. That's what you said. Now. Three years ago,
- 58:00Speaker 1: when y'all started dating, you developed this great relationship with
- 58:03Speaker 1: his mother and his sisters. But now you say that
- 58:07Speaker 1: now they take up for and when he messing around
- 58:09Speaker 1: on me. Right there, let's stop for a minute. They
- 58:12Speaker 1: take up for him when he messing around on me.
- 58:18Speaker 1: So you know this, he uses them as an alibi.
- 58:24Speaker 1: If I call them why he's out at night, they
- 58:26Speaker 1: won't answer their phones, and you know he's out at night,
- 58:31Speaker 1: and you know he's not over there. Right, this is
- 58:35Speaker 1: not their problem. But I still stopped speaking to all
- 58:38Speaker 1: of them after the last time he disappeared on me.
- 58:41Speaker 1: How many times he hasn't done this? Okay? Then we
- 58:47Speaker 1: were planning to go to Miami for Easter weekend, and
- 58:51Speaker 1: the day before he was washing his clothes. He pulled
- 58:55Speaker 1: out his luggage and picked a fight with me over
- 58:58Speaker 1: the kind of laundry detergent. I baugh, what wait a minute, strategic,
- 59:05Speaker 1: what is this our smell? Come on as a dog? Baby, baby, baby,
- 59:12Speaker 1: this ain't time. M chill to hear you buy Cheerful
- 59:19Speaker 1: in the streets. They all watched the cheer was on sale.
- 59:22Speaker 1: I don't give a damn on sale. I'm on time.
- 59:27Speaker 1: I'm wanting new pods. Just don't make no damn since
- 59:29Speaker 1: you're watching it, chill when you know I'm gonna hear, well,
- 59:31Speaker 1: I like time. I got to get the hell out
- 59:34Speaker 1: of hill, So make no damn sense. Clear my head.
- 59:37Speaker 1: I gotta gonna clear my head all this time. Open it.
- 59:41Speaker 1: Hold on, Steve, hold on, we'll coming up in twenty
- 59:46Speaker 1: three minutes after the hours you're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 59:51Speaker 1: All right, come on, Steve, let's recap today's Strawberry letters.
- 59:54Speaker 1: Subject My fiance is for the streets. Twenty nine year
- 59:58Speaker 1: old mother too hard working, got some problems with this guy.
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: This guy is not understanding what's happening here. She's cheating
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: on this girl. She had a relationship with the mother,
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: and the and the and the and the and the sisters.
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: They take up for him. They don't answer the phone
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: when she's looking for him, So now she's upset. She
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: to quit speaking to the mom and the sisters. Then
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: they was planning to go to Minam and justice passed
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: Easter weekend. He pulled out his luggage and picked a
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: fight with her over the detergent. No man picks a
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: fight over no damn detergent. There's not a man living
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: that's gonna start an argument in his house about some
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: damn detergent. Can I tell you we give less than
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: a damn detergent? Lord, I don't know a man nowhere
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: that kere what detergent is in no all? Right, So
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: then you returned the same same negative energy, and you said,
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: little did I know that he had plans all along
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: to desert me and our plans. So he kept yelling,
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: and he said he needed to get out for a
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: while to clear his head. He left the house, and
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: then you notice after he left, his suitcase was gone.
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: This is the one y'all was packing for to go
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: to Miami. Right. I gave him a few hours and
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: you started calling him. He ain't anounced. He came home
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: three days later like nothing had happened? What came came to?
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: What home? Right? Three days later? Like nothing had The
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: whole Eastern weekend with luggage gone, and he called you
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: ain't checked on the kids came back in the house like,
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: ain't nothing happened, Hey girl, I said, hey girl, Oh damn,
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: you're still tripping. So now this is the second time
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: he's done it, and he knows I'm not talking to
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: his family and I don't have any of his friends numbers.
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: Wait a minute. The conclusion you came to is this
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: the second time he'd do it, and he know you
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: ain't talking to his family, so you couldn't call them,
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: and you ain't got none of his friends numbers, so
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: you can't call them. What that's the conclusion. This man
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: disappears for three days and you upset because you ain't
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: got numbers. You don't neither one number his. When you
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: couldn't get him on yours and he didn't call you
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: on yours for three days, this should have been a rap.
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: So that was no way to find him. The hell.
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: You gotta find somebody going for the three days if
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: you're not worried about him. That's the police report. Once
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: they missing for that, I was you canna call the police?
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: So I went to his mother's house and told his
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: mother and sisters I was tired of his cheating, and
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: they lied. His mother looked me in my face and
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: said that my fi'all say, is a good man and
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: he's not cheating on me. His mama don't know. His
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: mama don't know right she defended him. This her son
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: you know already told you they ain't even answer your
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: phone when you be looking for him. Do I believe
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: his mother? Hell now? Or I call off my wed?
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: Didn't move out? Girl, girl, listen to me. A man
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: that disappears before your marriage is gonna disappear after your marriage.
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: What do you think a wedding is gonna change in
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: this man? If the man ain't acting right before you
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: get married, what what? What I'm supposed to make him
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: ac right now? He's not ready to get married. This
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: man starts an argument about detergent. He make no damn sense.
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: That's not a I don't know a male species, a
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: member of the male Homo sapien species that is gonna
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: pick an argument with his wife or girlfriend over some
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: damn de hurgent. Now we're gonna arg about this TV
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: and what were fitting to watch. If we ain't gonta
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: one TV in the game, we might fall out about
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: this hill. We might fall out about going over my
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: mama's house or your mama's house. That could be an argument, yea,
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: it can be an argument about what church we going to.
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: We had that, Yeah, not me. But we might have
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: a little heated discussion about what movie we're gonna see
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: in the movie, didn't we Yeah? Okay, yeah I'm not.
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: I'm gonna just go watching a little Poor Games movie.
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: Whatever you want to see, whatever you want. I'm not
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: even argue about you by what restaurant we want to
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: go to, Happy Wife, Happy Life. You want to go
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: down to Crusoe's, We're going to Crusoe's. I might want
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: to go to my show, My show right here, Crusoe
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: down the street for thirtyment. We've been driving through the minute.
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: What I'm not fitting to do is have a damn
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: argument about some detaching. Yeah, what, I can't even smell it?
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: No way, see if we gotta go, I don't even
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: know if you use bounce or not. Post your comments
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: on Today's Strawberry Letter and Steve Harvey FM on Instagram
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: and Facebook. Check out the Strawberry Letter podcast. Under Man

- 1:06:20Speaker 1: Hey Tommy? Hey carliny es Yes, and I know you
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: messed with Judy. What's happening with your talk? Is Talk
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: coming back on? Have y'all gone back to taping? What's
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: what's the situation here? We will be back on the
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: air Monday, April twelfth. We will be back on April twelfth.
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: This will be on it. That's right, this coming Monday.
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: And what I really want to do right now, I
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: want to thank first of all, everybody that didn't forget
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: what they saw, reached out to me, supported me, prayed
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: for me. You know, it wasn't just a black community
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: talking to me. It was everybody. It was every woman
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: that had gone through something like that. It was white women,
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: white women was reaching out. I mean, it was so
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: many people and to me for everything that we've gone
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: through with the training and everything. We are ready to
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: have a really great show that we want people to
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: watch the show. We are really looking forward to coming
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: back on air Monday, April twelve, because we're gonna have
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: doctor Donald E. Grant, who is an expert on diversity, equity, inclusion,
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: and justice, and he will be leading the discussion on
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: how you have difficult conversations about race. And then we
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: got Shirley and Caller. We got doctor Anita Phillips, who's
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: a nationally acclaimed trauma therapist and life coach. And the
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: reason that is happening is because we all witnessed a trauma.
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: But we gotta get to the healing of this painful
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: event and had this conversation. But I got the thing.
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: The Steve Harvey Morning Show family, all your listeners, all
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: your listeners send love, prayers and support. And I want
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: everybody to remember what you saw on Wednesday, March to ten,
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: because people want you to forget it. They want you
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: to be distracted. They want you to say, oh, it
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: was nothing. But I'm gonna tell you something. Yeah, I'm
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: prayed up. I'm prayed up. But I may have forgiven,
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: but I have not forgotten and I won't let this
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: become a distraction. And I want people to know I'm
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: not a liar. I am a survivor. I am a
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: final woman of Zatto Fibata Sorority Incorporated. My faith in
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: God and the support of everybody that kept me prayed up.
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: It's right. I'm ready to go to work Monday, April twelve,
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: and when I come back to the Steve Harvey Morning Show,
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: I won't answer any questions. And all questions y'all got
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: about how I feel driving the word, getting on the lots,
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: getting to sit down and get my hair makeup done.
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: I got a question for you when we come back.
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: We ain't got to wait there for twelve. We'll be
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: right back with twelve. You're listening, Cheryl is still Heyl
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: under and I have a question for Sheryl because we
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: were talking and Sheryl is saying that the show is
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: coming back on the twelfth, and and how she feels
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: about that. She wants it to be a successful They're
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: all the guests, they coming in, having all But I
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: want to say something because we can't get distracted and
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: thrown off Pierce Morgan. I was reading where Pierce Morgan
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: has said that Sheryl Underwood should be fired for calling
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: Sharon Osborne a racist. Now, sir, listen to me what
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: you're not going to do. It's changed the narrative of
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: what happened. First of all, Sheryl. Let me just clear
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: this up case this story get legs. Sherl Underwood never
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: called Sharon Osborne a racist. What Sheryl Underwood said was
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: the statement that Pierce Morgan made was racist. She never
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: called Sharon Osborne a racist. She said that the statement
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: that Pierce Morgan made was racist. See here's what everybody
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: got to take this. Let's take this off for a second.
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: If Megan Marco was not black, we ain't talking about
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: none of this. The only reason this is a story
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: is simply because this woman is black. If the baby
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: didn't have black features, if the baby was just a
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: white British little baby, we this's not even a story.
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: So now, how can it not be racism when the
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: only reason this story is even brought up is because
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: of the race of the woman that the child. That's
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: just amazing to me. Man, Now you want to flip
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: the script and turn it on right and and how
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: can you? How can you forget what we actually saw
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: with our own eyes on TV that was devastating for
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: everyone who watched it, especially you, Cheryl. I'm sure, I
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: mean absolutely, Oh, I'm suffering from PTSD. It is a trauma.
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: It is a trauma that I really didn't realize, and
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: that's what we're gonna talk about on the show. But
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: people are living through these types of traumas every day.
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: That's why with so many people of different races reaching
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: out to me, because they're going through this trauma and
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: nobody's giving it a name, nobody's listening. They don't get healing,
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: and then they got to keep their mouth shut to
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: keep their job. So when people were reaching out to me,
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: I'm talking about all kinds. Women in droves was reaching
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: out to me, you know. So I just want people
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: to understand what we are really talking about. Our eyes
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: are focused on what happened Wednesday, Mounts the tenth. Don't
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: try to make it about nothing else, and I'm not
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: trying to make it about nothing else. I'm trying to
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: be discreet. I'm trying to let investigations happen. I'm trying
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: to get back to work because it's not just about
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: my job. It's about the lighting person job, that camera man.
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: It's about the people that be putting together the set.
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: It's about the regular everyday person that's trying to keep
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: keep their job. I'm trying to be an example for others.
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: To follow, and I'm not gonna let nobody destroy me.
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: I have come too far by faith, leaning on the Lord.
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: No weapon formed against me shall prosper. And I'm ready,
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: you know it. I'm ready to go to work. I'm sorry.
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: What was you gonna say? Should describe? No? No, no,
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: I mean you're exactly right. Everything you're saying is right.
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: We all saw what happened, and it's gonna be a
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: long time before that gets out of her mind, if ever,
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: because of how it happened and what happened, and because
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: you mean something to us, you know, yeah, you mean
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: something to us on the show, and and uh, we're
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: not gonna let that go down. So it does matter
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: what Pierce Morgan say. We know what we saw. Yeah,
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: when it's time to whop, somebody asks, I'm over here
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: for them, Hey dog, No, for real, we're not. We're
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: not Pierce Morgan enough in there. Take this story and
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: turn it. Fire Sheryl Underwood for what for what what
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: Sherlle Underwood do? She accused you of making a racist statement.
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: Now back to Ryl. Sharyl Osborne, jump to your defense. Okay,
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: you know, getting away, So hey, listen, Cheryl, we love
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: you we'll be watching. Thank you for the show. Uh
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: after and that and after the show as on Monday,
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: we'll be back to talk about it. Uh, ladies and gentlemen,
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: Cheryl Underwood is in the damn build it. Thank you guys,
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: Thank you guys. Watch the show April twelfth, Monday to

- 1:14:48Speaker 1: you start that's when this is when people start trying

- 1:15:44Speaker 1: Show coming up for thirty three minutes after the hour
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right,
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: you're ready for Chief Love Officers, Steve Harvey, Let's go
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: all right. This one is from carl in Atlanta. He
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: said that married to a woman that had been in
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: a relationship with a woman for ten years before we
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: started dating. She said it was a phase she was
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: going through so I can only trust what she's told me.
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: Her ex girlfriend is still in her life and they're good,
- 1:16:15Speaker 1: good friends. I don't mind when the ex girlfriend comes over,
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: but I'm wondering if she'd be as understanding if my
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: ex girlfriend wanted to come over all of the time.
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: Am I tripping over? Nothing? Understand? Yeah? Hell, now she
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: ain't gonna be as understand? Right of course not. You're
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: not coming over? The ex can't come over to my house. Well,
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: she's coming over to his house. No do that? Ain't
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: him your ex coming to Your ex is coming to
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: our house now, so he should shut man. Well, I
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: don't give a damn if it's your form a dog,
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: not the ex pet. No, no, no, no. So so
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: you're saying he should shut it down, It's no way
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: I'm going for that. I'm just telling you what I'm doing.
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: You might have a different relationship with her, But no,
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: y'all slept together. Now we married, but you cut still
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: coming over like you ain't got no thoughts? So sleeping together? Man?
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: Miss me with that? Noting to do that, that's a
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: recipe for disaster. All right, Lets y'all work something out
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: between all y'all to that's what y'all that's different, But no,
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: I'm not fit to do that. Work it out. Everybody
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: ain't attractive Tommy talking about we're moving on. My husband
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: owns a detail shop and I have a teenage brother
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: that worked their part time. My little brother told me
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: that my husband flirts with women and gives a lot
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: of them free car washers. I asked my husband about it,
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: and he got mad. He said, my brother's out of line,
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: and he'll take care of him. Now. He's being hard
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: on my little brother, claiming he's making a man out
