Commission grants fairgrounds fee breaks
Box Elder County commissioners approved waiving two fairground fees Aug. 12, fully waiving the rental fee for an education event and cutting the cost in half for the Bear River High School Rodeo Club. The Utah Education Initiative requested use of the Fine Arts Building for an education extravaganza Sept. 23. Robert Nelson told commissioners the event would bring universities and trade schools together with prospective students. The newly adopted county fee schedule lists the Fine Arts Building at 0 for a 10-hour day and allows nonprofit organizations a 50% reduction with commission approval…
