- 0:01Speaker 1: You got to ask yourself this question as I'm about
- 0:03Speaker 1: to tell you this story, what the hell was the
- 0:06Speaker 1: federal government doing for the last four years when it
- 0:09Speaker 1: came to the issue of protecting our children from sexual abuse,
- 0:13Speaker 1: sex trafficking and pornography. I say that because of Operation
- 0:19Speaker 1: Restore Justice. Now, the Attorney General Pambondi and the FBI
- 0:24Speaker 1: Director Cashptel announced the results of Operation Restore Justice. It
- 0:28Speaker 1: is a nationwide initiative targeting child sex predators. Now over
- 0:34Speaker 1: a five day period, the operation has led to the
- 0:37Speaker 1: arrest of two hundred and five individuals and the most
- 0:40Speaker 1: shocking part of all, the rescue of one hundred and
- 0:46Speaker 1: fifteen children that were being abused on a daily and
- 0:52Speaker 1: even hourly basis.
- 0:55Speaker 2: The scope of the operation.
- 0:56Speaker 1: Involved all fifty five FBI filled offices. The Department of
- 1:02Speaker 1: Justice's Child Exportation Section, and the US Attorney's offices nationwide
- 1:06Speaker 1: were also involved. You had notable arrests that I'm going
- 1:11Speaker 1: to go through in a moment, but I want to
- 1:13Speaker 1: play for you what the Attorney General Pambondi and the
- 1:16Speaker 1: FBI Director Cash Battel had to say at this announcement.
- 1:20Speaker 1: As they are furious that this world was allowed to
- 1:25Speaker 1: continue not really having to worry about the federal government
- 1:29Speaker 1: coming in and stopping them. Under the last administration.
- 1:34Speaker 3: Computer and target our young children every single day. Our
- 1:40Speaker 3: law enforcement, our prosecutors sit there and deal with this
- 1:44Speaker 3: every day to kick these monsters off the street. Director
- 1:48Speaker 3: Patel and I almost daily in our meetings talk about
- 1:53Speaker 3: these cases and what it does to our officers and
- 1:58Speaker 3: our prosecutors, but also how many lives are being saved
- 2:02Speaker 3: and how many children are being.
- 2:04Speaker 4: Helped by this.
- 2:05Speaker 3: Director Pateel is going to get into the specific cases
- 2:07Speaker 3: with you in a minute, but what I will tell
- 2:10Speaker 3: you is these depraved human beings, if convicted, will face
- 2:15Speaker 3: the maximum penalty in prison some life. We will find you,
- 2:21Speaker 3: We will arrest you, and we will charge you. If
- 2:24Speaker 3: you are online targeting a child, you will not escape us.
- 2:29Speaker 3: The FBI and the Department of Justice will come after
- 2:32Speaker 3: you and we will prosecute you. Parents, you have to
- 2:36Speaker 3: know this is so serious. Your child has no right
- 2:40Speaker 3: to privacy on the internet none. You have to monitor
- 2:44Speaker 3: what your kids are doing, whether they're playing games on
- 2:48Speaker 3: the internet, on social media, any other websites that children
- 2:53Speaker 3: teenagers frequent. An online predator can find them. I always
- 2:59Speaker 3: say it's from instant message to instant nightmare.
- 3:02Speaker 4: Parents.
- 3:03Speaker 3: They're talking to your kids like their other children, and
- 3:06Speaker 3: they're not.
- 3:07Speaker 4: They're predators.
- 3:08Speaker 3: They pose as children, They get them sometimes to post
- 3:11Speaker 3: explicit pictures of themselves after they talk to them, and
- 3:15Speaker 3: then in some cases they even try to blackmail the children.
- 3:19Speaker 3: The suicide rate among teens ages fourteen to seventeen has
- 3:25Speaker 3: increased as a result of this as well, because teens
- 3:29Speaker 3: are taking advantage of and they're manipulated online by child predators.
- 3:34Speaker 3: So all of you being here today and covering this
- 3:37Speaker 3: is so important because parents need to know you've got
- 3:41Speaker 3: to talk to your kids. They think they're talking to
- 3:43Speaker 3: other children, but most of the time they're not.
- 3:47Speaker 4: Director Patel, thank.
- 3:48Speaker 5: You first and foremost to the Department of Justice, under
- 3:54Speaker 5: General Bondi's leadership and all its components. Because of your courage,
- 3:58Speaker 5: we are here today protecting are most vulnerable our children.
- 4:01Speaker 5: Thank you, General Bondi. Thank you to so many of
- 4:04Speaker 5: your colleagues here today that do this work tirelessly day
- 4:07Speaker 5: in and day out and never get a moment's thanks.
- 4:09Speaker 2: We should acknowledge all of them today.
- 4:12Speaker 5: As the FBI Director, I'm humbled to leave some of
- 4:15Speaker 5: the greatest men and women in law enforcement. And I
- 4:17Speaker 5: want to thank our fifty five field offices, our ninety
- 4:20Speaker 5: plus United States Attorney's offices, ours Section, our crim Division
- 4:24Speaker 5: here at the Department of Justice, and our field offices
- 4:27Speaker 5: throughout the country, with lawyers and prosecutors and agents working
- 4:31Speaker 5: tirelessly on some of the harshest criminality we've ever seen.
- 4:35Speaker 5: They don't take breaks because our children deserve a free
- 4:39Speaker 5: and open society. I also want to just take a
- 4:44Speaker 5: moment to emphasize the priority of this Department of Justice
- 4:48Speaker 5: and this FBI our children. If you harm our children,
- 4:53Speaker 5: you will be given no sanctuary. There is no place
- 4:56Speaker 5: we will not come to hunt you down, there is
- 4:59Speaker 5: no place will not look for you, and there is
- 5:01Speaker 5: no cage we will not put you in should you
- 5:04Speaker 5: do harm to our children. The prioritization of this administration
- 5:08Speaker 5: in general, BONDI, has made it abundantly clear to child
- 5:11Speaker 5: predators you will be hunted down and you will be prosecuted.
- 5:16Speaker 5: And that is a refreshing thing to hear for the
- 5:19Speaker 5: men and women who do this work tirelessly, and it's
- 5:21Speaker 5: also an acknowledgement of the safety that we look forward
- 5:25Speaker 5: to bringing America. As the Attorney General mentioned, there are
- 5:30Speaker 5: a couple of cases worth highlighting. People in places of
- 5:34Speaker 5: public trust have violated not only the law, but that
- 5:38Speaker 5: public trust, to include teachers, law enforcement personnel, and other
- 5:44Speaker 5: professionals that we look to safeguard our children have not
- 5:48Speaker 5: only violated the law, but violated the trust. In Minneapolis,
- 5:53Speaker 5: defended Jeremy Francis Plonsky, a Minneapolis State trooper and former
- 5:56Speaker 5: Army Reserved this was arrested for producing child sexual abuse
- 6:01Speaker 5: material while in uniform. Not anymore. In Norfolk, Virginia, defendant
- 6:05Speaker 5: Jose Alexis Valdez Sosa, an illegal immigrant from Mexico, again
- 6:10Speaker 5: allegedly arrested for transporting a minor across state lines.
- 6:14Speaker 2: No more.
- 6:16Speaker 5: Another example right here in Washington, d C. And the
- 6:18Speaker 5: Metropolitan Police Department officer Lynn Wood Barnhill, a former already
- 6:24Speaker 5: convicted sex offender, was arrested again for exploiting more victims,
- 6:28Speaker 5: more children while on supervise release. These are just three
- 6:32Speaker 5: examples that show you the extent and the depravity of
- 6:37Speaker 5: these horrific crimes, and we need to team up together
- 6:40Speaker 5: with the American public to find the rest I want
- 6:43Speaker 5: to give a special thanks to the National Center for
- 6:45Speaker 5: Missing and Exploited Children for the tireless work they do
- 6:48Speaker 5: in partnering with us. And again I want to thank
- 6:50Speaker 5: the Department of Justice and all these folks here and Pam,
- 6:53Speaker 5: thank you for never wavering to defend our children.
- 6:56Speaker 4: Thank you, Thank you Director Patel.
- 6:58Speaker 3: And this ranges from we of cases from California to
- 7:01Speaker 3: New York to Florida, our entire country and just in
- 7:05Speaker 3: one week again, one hundred and fifteen victims, victims, we
- 7:09Speaker 3: have two hundred and five offenders have been charged in
- 7:13Speaker 3: one week thanks to the FBI. So think what's happening
- 7:16Speaker 3: throughout this country. Children are being taken advantage of and
- 7:21Speaker 3: we have to stop it. Thank you for covering this
- 7:23Speaker 3: very important topic today.
- 7:25Speaker 1: Thank you short sweet and to the point by the
- 7:29Speaker 1: Attorney General there. This operation is part of Project's Safe Childhood.
- 7:34Speaker 2: It is a DOJ initiative launched in.
- 7:36Speaker 1: Six to combat child sexual exploitation and abuse. The DOJ
- 7:43Speaker 1: collaborating with the National Center for Missing Exploited Children and
- 7:47Speaker 1: is now encouraging the public to report suspected exploitation through
- 7:52Speaker 1: the established hotlines and online reporting tools. As you heard
- 7:56Speaker 1: there Some of those that were abusing these children included
- 8:00Speaker 1: a Minnesota state trooper and an Army reservist that we're
- 8:04Speaker 1: arrested for allegedly producing child sexual abuse material while in uniform.
- 8:09Speaker 1: That former Metropolitan Police Department officer in Washington, DC, previously
- 8:15Speaker 1: convicted of sex offenses charged with exploiting additional victims while.
- 8:20Speaker 2: On supervised release.
- 8:22Speaker 1: An undocumented individual from Mexico arrested in Virginia for allegedly
- 8:27Speaker 1: transporting a minor across state lines for sexual purposes. The
- 8:32Speaker 1: question that we should all be asking is where the
- 8:34Speaker 1: hell is our government protecting these kids during the last
- 8:37Speaker 1: administration and why is it now a political issue where
- 8:42Speaker 1: Republicans are in favor of this and Democrats look the
- 8:45Speaker 1: other way. One thing I know for sure, I'm glad
- 8:49Speaker 1: that Pamboni and Casptel are doing this, and it's saving
- 8:53Speaker 1: people's lives and saving people from countless abuses.
- 8:59Speaker 2: Did you know that, just.
- 9:00Speaker 1: Like here in the US, Israel has their own Independence
- 9:03Speaker 1: Day In case you missed it this year, Israel's Independence
- 9:06Speaker 1: Day was a few days ago on May first. But
- 9:10Speaker 1: for the people of Israel, freedom is nothing more than
- 9:12Speaker 1: a daily struggle to survive there's no real peace, only terror,
- 9:17Speaker 1: no joy, just suffering. The Israeli government relies on the
- 9:20Speaker 1: International Fellowship of Christians and Jews for ongoing help to
- 9:24Speaker 1: make sure the elderly, the sick, the wounded, soldiers, and
- 9:27Speaker 1: impoverished families don't fall through the cracks. That's why your
- 9:31Speaker 1: gift to the Fellowship will provide such important life saving aid, medicine,
- 9:36Speaker 1: hearty meals, safety and comfort. I believe that when you
- 9:39Speaker 1: bless the people of Israel, we unlock God's blessing in
- 9:42Speaker 1: our lives as well. So to show your support for
- 9:45Speaker 1: Israel's independence, you can make a life saving gift today.
- 9:49Speaker 1: You can call eight eight eight for eight eight IFCJ.
- 9:53Speaker 1: That's eight and eight four eight eight four three two five.
- 9:58Speaker 1: You can also go online to FJ dot org. That's
- 10:02Speaker 1: if CJ dot org. Now, Pamboni is not just focusing,
- 10:07Speaker 1: as we mentioned a moment ago, on going after these
- 10:10Speaker 1: people that are that are abusing children and the sex
- 10:13Speaker 1: trafficking and taking down people that are involved in it.
- 10:17Speaker 1: She's also doing a lot to save people's lives when
- 10:20Speaker 1: it comes to Fetanyl. The Attorney General, in a separate
- 10:24Speaker 1: press conference talking about the Cineloa cartel that's one of
- 10:28Speaker 1: the largest drug trafficking cartels in the world. They were
- 10:33Speaker 1: behind the largest fetanyl seizure in US history. A cell
- 10:39Speaker 1: of the Cineloa cartel operated in four major US cities
- 10:42Speaker 1: and the cartel conducted a large scale drug distribution operation
- 10:47Speaker 1: throughout the western part of the country that led federal
- 10:50Speaker 1: authorities to the largest fetanyl seizure to date. This was
- 10:55Speaker 1: shocking to see how much fetanyl was actually seized and
- 10:58Speaker 1: how many people's lives could have been taken. And because
- 11:00Speaker 1: of this, Pambondi announcing this seizure in the largest one
- 11:04Speaker 1: in US history, and here is what she had to
- 11:07Speaker 1: say about it.
- 11:09Speaker 3: So I wanted all of these amazing, amazing agents and
- 11:13Speaker 3: prosecutors up here on stage because they have made the
- 11:18Speaker 3: largest fentanyl bust in our nation's history. And we're very
- 11:24Speaker 3: proud to announce today a historic Sineloa cartel arrest and
- 11:30Speaker 3: it marks the most significant victory in our nation's fight
- 11:35Speaker 3: against fentanyl and drug trafficking to date. This multi agency operation,
- 11:43Speaker 3: led by DEA, with our local, state, tribal, and federal partners,
- 11:49Speaker 3: targeted one of the largest and most dangerous drug trafficking
- 11:53Speaker 3: and foreign terrorist organizations in our country. DEA seized eleven
- 12:03Speaker 3: point five kilos of fentanyl, including an astounding approximately three
- 12:10Speaker 3: million fentanyl pills, the largest seizure in our nation's history.
- 12:16Speaker 3: These are the pills in the bags right there, the
- 12:20Speaker 3: main bottom right.
- 12:22Speaker 4: The head of.
- 12:23Speaker 3: This organization, Sinaloa organization, here in the country illegally. Six
- 12:28Speaker 3: of these guys and women here in the country illegally.
- 12:32Speaker 3: His name is Alberto Salazar Amaya. He is the leader
- 12:37Speaker 3: and he was living in Salem, Oregon with him.
- 12:41Speaker 4: They got millions.
- 12:42Speaker 3: Of dollars cash, cars, but the drugs were.
- 12:46Speaker 4: In Albuquerque, Phoenix, and Utah.
- 12:49Speaker 3: That's how insulated these drug dealer cartel leaders make themselves.
- 12:55Speaker 3: This was an incredible operation and that's why I wanted
- 12:59Speaker 3: all of you here behind me. It took months and
- 13:03Speaker 3: months of work investigation leading up to smaller buys, smaller
- 13:08Speaker 3: cases to get this massive amount of drugs and guns
- 13:13Speaker 3: off our streets. Five million dollars approximately in cash, thirty
- 13:19Speaker 3: five kilos of metha amphetamine, thirty five kilos of math,
- 13:25Speaker 3: seven point five kilos of cocaine, four point five kilos
- 13:29Speaker 3: of heroin, forty nine rifles and pistols, all shown in
- 13:33Speaker 3: the pictures, and then of course the three million pills.
- 13:38Speaker 3: These pills were stamped as oxy codone. Let that sink
- 13:45Speaker 3: in three million pills going on our streets. Three million
- 13:50Speaker 3: pills the streets of our country laced with fentanyl labeled
- 13:54Speaker 3: as oxycodone, and they were in all different strengths of
- 14:00Speaker 3: all within them. This operation was made possible by over
- 14:06Speaker 3: fifty five thousand hours of law enforcement investigation. And this
- 14:12Speaker 3: is a really dangerous job that these DEA agents face
- 14:16Speaker 3: every day. But they are getting very dangerous drugs off
- 14:21Speaker 3: of our streets each day. They are flooding our cities
- 14:25Speaker 3: with a weapon of mass destruction, fentanyl. And when we
- 14:31Speaker 3: catch you, like all of these individuals, if convicted, we
- 14:35Speaker 3: will put you behind bars. There will be no negotiating,
- 14:39Speaker 3: and we will lock you up for as long as
- 14:42Speaker 3: humanly possible.
- 14:43Speaker 4: We will not negotiate with.
- 14:46Speaker 3: Those who are killing our family members, including brothers, sisters, daughters, sons, parents, friends.
- 14:54Speaker 3: Everyone in this room, I guarantee you knows someone who
- 14:58Speaker 3: has been afflicted with drug addiction, and many who have
- 15:03Speaker 3: known someone who has lost a loved one because of
- 15:06Speaker 3: this trash on our streets. The precursors are made in China,
- 15:11Speaker 3: it was sent to Mexico and came right in our country.
- 15:17Speaker 4: And again six.
- 15:18Speaker 3: Of these individuals were here illegally. That won't shock you,
- 15:22Speaker 3: and we're running a massive, massive drug operation. This kind
- 15:28Speaker 3: of success doesn't happen without extraordinary leadership.
- 15:32Speaker 4: And I want to personally.
- 15:34Speaker 3: Thank my friend DEA Principal Deputy Administrator, Rob Murphy, DEA
- 15:40Speaker 3: Al Paso Division Chief Agent in charge, Omar Arirello. I'm
- 15:45Speaker 3: killing your name, Omar, Omar Okay. And US attorney was
- 15:49Speaker 3: Ryan Ryan Ellison. I also want to thank again the
- 15:53Speaker 3: brave men and women of law enforcement. Last week I
- 15:56Speaker 3: joined them at a DEA laboratory and we went there
- 16:01Speaker 3: and it was truly remarkable what we saw how quickly
- 16:05Speaker 3: these cartels can manufacture and make fentanyl powder and put
- 16:09Speaker 3: it into these pills.
- 16:11Speaker 4: But people need to know. Parents need to know, kids
- 16:14Speaker 4: need to know. This fentanyl, this bus. These three million
- 16:18Speaker 4: pills were oxycodone.
- 16:19Speaker 3: They put this in xanax, they put this in adderall.
- 16:24Speaker 3: They put this in Molli, the date drug or the
- 16:27Speaker 3: party drug, something called Molli. They put it in cocaine
- 16:32Speaker 3: and they put it in marijuana, and.
- 16:35Speaker 4: It is to get you so highly addicted that you
- 16:38Speaker 4: can't get off it.
- 16:39Speaker 3: Seventy five thousand Americans are dying each year because of fentanyl,
- 16:45Speaker 3: seventy five thousand. And that's why this is so important today.
- 16:51Speaker 3: You've got to spread the word.
- 16:53Speaker 4: If you know.
- 16:54Speaker 3: Anyone who is taking any recreational drugs, they need to
- 16:58Speaker 3: be extremely careful because there is a very high.
- 17:01Speaker 4: Likelihood it could be laced with fentanyl.
- 17:04Speaker 3: And that's one of the reasons seventy five thousand Americans
- 17:07Speaker 3: are losing their lives each day. It is the number
- 17:10Speaker 3: one cause of death for individuals between eighteen and thirty
- 17:15Speaker 3: four in our country.
- 17:17Speaker 2: You listen to Pam there and you can hear it
- 17:20Speaker 2: in her voice.
- 17:20Speaker 1: She is pleading with Americans to understand, you've got to
- 17:24Speaker 1: warn your kids, You've got to warn your grandkids. You've
- 17:26Speaker 1: got to warn anybody that you know that is abusing drugs.
- 17:30Speaker 1: These pills, as she mentioned, were stamped as a pill
- 17:34Speaker 1: that you would receive from a pharmacy, and so there
- 17:37Speaker 1: are many people that.
- 17:38Speaker 2: Buy these pills. Adderall is a great example.
- 17:41Speaker 1: A lot of these overdoses come when kids will get
- 17:45Speaker 1: Adderall on the black market to keep them alert when
- 17:48Speaker 1: studying for finals.
- 17:49Speaker 2: In college.
- 17:51Speaker 1: We see kids that die from fetnyl overdoses from the
- 17:55Speaker 1: IVY leagues all the way down and even in high
- 17:58Speaker 1: school ring finals because you're trying to stay awake, you're
- 18:03Speaker 1: cramming for your exams. Adderall is known to keep you up,
- 18:07Speaker 1: help you get focused. I know a lot of people
- 18:10Speaker 1: that did not have a prescription for ad all when
- 18:12Speaker 1: I was in college from two thousand and four that
- 18:14Speaker 1: would borrow an adderall from a friend that had a prescription. Well,
- 18:17Speaker 1: what's happened is there's the black market for it now,
- 18:19Speaker 1: and so there's like, hey, I need a couple adderalls
- 18:21Speaker 1: for finals, and then they end up taking it and
- 18:25Speaker 1: then they're dead because it's actually a lace with fetanyl.
- 18:27Speaker 2: Now, the amount of feedenanyl that can kill you.
- 18:29Speaker 1: The best way I've heard described is if you if
- 18:31Speaker 1: you put your finger in an empty Sweet.
- 18:34Speaker 2: And Low package or an equal package.
- 18:37Speaker 1: And you pull it out, and a little bit of
- 18:38Speaker 1: like residue that is left in that packet after you
- 18:42Speaker 1: poured out that the Sweet and Low packet or the
- 18:46Speaker 1: equal package splendid packet, that little.
- 18:48Speaker 2: Bit of residue is enough to kill you.
- 18:50Speaker 1: So when they make these pills, some of them have
- 18:53Speaker 1: more fetnyl in them than others. They don't care. They
- 18:56Speaker 1: want to maximize the production as quickly. They're not a
- 18:59Speaker 1: fat lab. They're not trying to keep you safe. They're
- 19:02Speaker 1: trying to get you addicted and some of you die.
- 19:04Speaker 1: That's just the cost of doing business. We've got to
- 19:08Speaker 1: make sure we do a better job of telling people
- 19:10Speaker 1: about this. There's another story that's really important, and it
- 19:15Speaker 1: shows you the consequences for the Biden Administration's actions after
- 19:20Speaker 1: the attack on Israel by the terrorists. And you may
- 19:24Speaker 1: remember that there was a Gaza peer that the US
- 19:31Speaker 1: military was sent to build. This peer is a disaster,
- 19:36Speaker 1: and there's a new Department of Defense report that has
- 19:38Speaker 1: come out saying that it risked countless lives. In fact,
- 19:42Speaker 1: sixty two American soldiers were injured, tens of millions of
- 19:47Speaker 1: dollars wasted building Biden's failed Gaza peer. The Biden administration's
- 19:54Speaker 1: quote humanitarian mission, which was a mission many opposed. I
- 19:57Speaker 1: was one of them, to build the offshore pece and
- 20:00Speaker 1: floating causeway for quote aid delivery to Gaza, which that
- 20:05Speaker 1: much of that aid was being stolen by the terrorists.
- 20:09Speaker 1: Was more dangerous and costly than the Pentagon had publicly acknowledged.
- 20:14Speaker 2: They covered it up.
- 20:15Speaker 1: It resulted in sixty two injuries to American soldiers tens
- 20:20Speaker 1: of millions of dollars in equipment damage. According to this
- 20:24Speaker 1: new report that has come out from the Department Defense
- 20:27Speaker 1: Inspector General. The report reveals the questionable value of a
- 20:31Speaker 1: mission that costs some two hundred and thirty million. I
- 20:36Speaker 1: want to say that again, two hundred and thirty million.
- 20:39Speaker 1: It did not, by the way, accomplish any of its goals,
- 20:42Speaker 1: as the PEER was functional for only about twenty days.
- 20:47Speaker 2: This coming now.
- 20:48Speaker 1: From the Washington Post that's now telling you the truth
- 20:51Speaker 1: after lying and covering it up, this story to protect
- 20:56Speaker 1: Joe Biden and the White House and Kamala Harris with
- 20:58Speaker 1: their reelection bid. Now, Biden gave his approval for the
- 21:02Speaker 1: plan despite warnings from within the American government that rough
- 21:06Speaker 1: waves in this part of the world could make the
- 21:09Speaker 1: mission difficult or even impossible to achieve. They didn't care.
- 21:14Speaker 1: They wanted to make sure that they were anti Israel
- 21:18Speaker 1: no matter what. The Inspector General report found that not
- 21:21Speaker 1: only were there more than two dozen watercraft and other
- 21:24Speaker 1: equipment that had major damage, that caused about thirty one
- 21:28Speaker 1: million in repairs of maintenance costs alone, but also the
- 21:32Speaker 1: Army and Navy did not meet the readiness standards for
- 21:35Speaker 1: both the equipment and the units required to carry out
- 21:38Speaker 1: the mission.
- 21:39Speaker 2: What does that mean?
- 21:40Speaker 1: They put a bunch of DEI and transgendered crap in
- 21:43Speaker 1: our military ahead of military readiness. So to be clear,
- 21:47Speaker 1: we had one peer that we need to get built
- 21:50Speaker 1: and we couldn't do it safely. We had thirty one
- 21:54Speaker 1: million in repairs and maintenance costs from damage. The thing
- 21:57Speaker 1: was only opened for twenty days and had a lot
- 22:00Speaker 1: of American military personnel that were seriously injured dealing with
- 22:04Speaker 1: this failure. Now, in addition, according to the report, they
- 22:09Speaker 1: did not quote organize, they did not train, they did
- 22:13Speaker 1: not equip their forces to meet Common Joint standards quote unquote. Again,
- 22:19Speaker 1: when you have a military that is more concerned about
- 22:22Speaker 1: bringing transgendered soldiers than they do about military readiness, which
- 22:26Speaker 1: is exactly what the Biden administration wanted to do every day,
- 22:30Speaker 1: this is what you get when you actually have a
- 22:32Speaker 1: real mission. In addition, according to the report, they did
- 22:36Speaker 1: not organize, train, and equipped their forces to meet the
- 22:38Speaker 1: Common Joint standards, on top of the fact that the
- 22:42Speaker 1: Transportation Command, which oversees coordination of military assets quote, also
- 22:47Speaker 1: fell short of standards in basic planning and exercises. All
- 22:53Speaker 1: of this, according to the Inspector General's report from the DoD,
- 22:57Speaker 1: Biden announced the peer mission, by the way to twenty
- 23:00Speaker 1: twenty four at the State of the Union address as
- 23:03Speaker 1: a proposed solution to delivered what he described as aid
- 23:08Speaker 1: directly to gods that without having to rely on Israel
- 23:11Speaker 1: land route. So, in other words, Israel is our ally,
- 23:15Speaker 1: we don't like Israel, We're gonna go against Israel. We're
- 23:18Speaker 1: gonna have Israel and basically say you're somehow the bad
- 23:22Speaker 1: guys if you respond to the Tarist attack. Remember, in
- 23:25Speaker 1: the hours after that attack, the White House said for
- 23:28Speaker 1: them not to respond militarily and to stand down from
- 23:31Speaker 1: defending themselves.
- 23:33Speaker 2: Now, we'll never forgive.
- 23:34Speaker 1: The Biden administration for that, but that was who they are, right,
- 23:38Speaker 1: That's what they believe. They hate Israel, they hate the Jews,
- 23:41Speaker 1: and they were going to stand with the terrorists and
- 23:43Speaker 1: the terarist sympathizers. Now, in addition, according to this report,
- 23:48Speaker 1: when the President announces the State Union Address, it was
- 23:51Speaker 1: to send a clear signal.
- 23:54Speaker 2: That we don't trust Israel as well.
- 23:57Speaker 1: Now, after several failed attempts, the peer mission was ultimately
- 24:01Speaker 1: abandoned a few months later in June. The Daily Caller
- 24:05Speaker 1: quietly reported at the time, and no one else really
- 24:09Speaker 1: was talking about it because the administration was like, well,
- 24:11Speaker 1: we got the headline to say the Union, right, we
- 24:13Speaker 1: made it clear we're not standing with Israel, so we're
- 24:16Speaker 1: kind of good here.
- 24:16Speaker 2: We're fine.
- 24:17Speaker 1: The Inspector General report also said that for years the
- 24:22Speaker 1: Army and Navy had divested watercraft and underfunded sea lift programs,
- 24:28Speaker 1: leading to the quote degraded readiness. So translation, if you
- 24:33Speaker 1: know what hit the fan and we were in any
- 24:36Speaker 1: type of rough waters or seas where we would need
- 24:39Speaker 1: to have something like this built.
- 24:41Speaker 2: We were screwed.
- 24:42Speaker 1: We weren't going to get it done, and it was
- 24:44Speaker 1: going to put American soldiers' lives at risk because part
- 24:47Speaker 1: of the reason why you have this readiness is actually
- 24:50Speaker 1: not for humanitarian aid. It's actually for making sure that
- 24:53Speaker 1: you have readiness with our troops if we need to
- 24:55Speaker 1: get basic supplies them like food, water, artillery, military equipment.
- 25:04Speaker 1: The list goes on and on of the things that
- 25:07Speaker 1: you might need this bridge for military personnel getting in
- 25:10Speaker 1: staging areas. What we found out was we basically are
- 25:14Speaker 1: completely unprepared for this.
- 25:16Speaker 2: Now.
- 25:17Speaker 1: This also goes back to what I said on the
- 25:19Speaker 1: show yesterday with Pete Edseth, making it abundantly clear now
- 25:24Speaker 1: that we are not going to screw around with military readiness.
- 25:27Speaker 1: And this is why that Supreme Court ruling was such
- 25:29Speaker 1: a big deal that we don't have to deal with
- 25:31Speaker 1: all the trends issues in the military. It's not this
- 25:34Speaker 1: is not the place and military readiness should in fact
- 25:38Speaker 1: be take present over this woke ideology.
- 25:42Speaker 2: And we know that we're in a bad spot.
- 25:43Speaker 1: Like that part is very very clear, Like we're in
- 25:46Speaker 1: a really bad spot. Everybody knows it, everybody understands it,
- 25:51Speaker 1: and we're correcting it.
- 25:52Speaker 2: This is just another example.
- 25:54Speaker 1: Of just how weak our military got under the Biden regime.
- 25:59Speaker 1: They didn't want it to be strong. They wanted America
- 26:02Speaker 1: to be weak. They didn't want us to be ready.
- 26:04Speaker 1: They wanted us to use I guess you just say,
- 26:08Speaker 1: for straight up propaganda. Like it was all about the propaganda,
- 26:13Speaker 1: and that was the main thing that they wanted to do,
- 26:16Speaker 1: was to turn the military into this experiment where it's like, hey,
- 26:21Speaker 1: let's see what happens when you put a bunch of
- 26:23Speaker 1: trainees in the military, and how that's going to work
- 26:26Speaker 1: out for us.
- 26:26Speaker 2: Well, we know what.
- 26:27Speaker 1: A disaster it became. But there were real lives that
- 26:32Speaker 1: were affected. Look at all of the people, the six
- 26:35Speaker 1: to two soldiers that were injured because they were sent
- 26:38Speaker 1: in to rough seas to do an impossible job that
- 26:42Speaker 1: we weren't ready and or trained for it. Now, could
- 26:45Speaker 1: we have done this in general? Yes, I think we
- 26:47Speaker 1: could have if we were ready and trained for it.
- 26:50Speaker 1: But we were not ready and we were not trained
- 26:53Speaker 1: for it. That's the problem. And we didn't have the
- 26:56Speaker 1: resources we needed to do it safely. It was a disaster,
- 26:59Speaker 1: and they scrapped it, and they knew on the front end.
- 27:02Speaker 1: And that's the other part about this that scares, honestly
- 27:05Speaker 1: the hell out, I mean, is the fact that the
- 27:07Speaker 1: administration under the Biden regime was told like, hey, we're
- 27:10Speaker 1: not ready for this.
- 27:12Speaker 2: Hey, we're in a bad spot with this.
- 27:14Speaker 1: Hey you don't want to do this, Like this is
- 27:17Speaker 1: not good, this is not something that you want to do,
- 27:22Speaker 1: and we're not prepared for this. We're not trained for
- 27:25Speaker 1: they didn't care, Folks like they just didn't give a crap.
- 27:28Speaker 1: They genuinely just said, we don't care. And I think
- 27:33Speaker 1: that's the most shocking part of all with this conversation
- 27:37Speaker 1: is how little they were willing to listen.
- 27:39Speaker 2: It was all a pr move. They wanted to give
- 27:42Speaker 2: the middle finger to.
- 27:45Speaker 1: Israel, and they were willing to risk American lives and
- 27:49Speaker 1: safety to do it in an impossible situation where a
- 27:53Speaker 1: peer that honestly should have never have been built.
- 27:57Speaker 2: Now, this Inspector General report is going.
- 27:59Speaker 1: To only I think, add to the anger and the frustration.
- 28:04Speaker 2: I think there's two ways of looking at this, I
- 28:08Speaker 2: really do.
- 28:09Speaker 1: I think the anger and the frustration here by many
- 28:12Speaker 1: in our military should be high. I think there should
- 28:14Speaker 1: be hell to pay for this by those that made
- 28:16Speaker 1: this decision and those that decided to just play politics.
- 28:22Speaker 1: Questions should be asked, there should be investigations. Not because
- 28:25Speaker 1: I want to get even, but because I don't want
- 28:27Speaker 1: people in our military that basically use the military for
- 28:31Speaker 1: their own political reasons.
- 28:33Speaker 2: That's the big problem I have here with this.
- 28:36Speaker 1: Make sure you share this podcast with your family and friends,
- 28:39Speaker 1: put it up on social media wherever you are and
- 28:42Speaker 1: we appreciate you listening every day.
