- 0:00Speaker 1: Today's show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time y'all
- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know y'all have a sun giving them like the
- 0:15Speaker 1: million buck things in the stubbings me true good Steve
- 0:24Speaker 1: together for I don't join me. You gotta use that
- 1:01Speaker 1: turn you you gotta turn to turn them out. Turn
- 1:43Speaker 1: you got to turn them out to turn the water
- 1:47Speaker 1: the water go. Come, come on your tha uh huh.
- 2:02Speaker 1: I show well a good morning everybody, y'all listening to
- 2:06Speaker 1: the voice. Come on, dig me now, one and only
- 2:10Speaker 1: Steve Harvey got a radio show. You know, I think
- 2:12Speaker 1: I'll explain something y'all. You know when I when I
- 2:15Speaker 1: wake up in the morning and I say, dig me now,
- 2:19Speaker 1: what I'm asking you to do is it's old school,
- 2:22Speaker 1: you know, man, And you know you say old people
- 2:24Speaker 1: say I dig You know, Dad never stop saying it. Sorry,
- 2:29Speaker 1: but dig me now. It's just I want you to
- 2:32Speaker 1: I don't you really feel me. I don't you to
- 2:34Speaker 1: understand what I'm saying, because really, this morning inspiration is
- 2:38Speaker 1: all given in the spirit of sharing and love. It
- 2:41Speaker 1: ain't about to expose me in any way. That's not
- 2:45Speaker 1: the purpose of it. But I found that in my
- 2:48Speaker 1: morning inspiration that it's best that I use some things
- 2:51Speaker 1: about myself, because I mean, what better example can I use?
- 2:54Speaker 1: Because I know me, I know what's happened to me.
- 2:57Speaker 1: I knew exactly how I felt all along the way
- 3:00Speaker 1: concerning almost everything, every aspect of my life. I now
- 3:04Speaker 1: fully do really understand why God had my life spend
- 3:09Speaker 1: the way it spun. And here's the part that I
- 3:12Speaker 1: want to give to you this morning, that first of all,
- 3:15Speaker 1: whatever position you find yourself in today, we kind of
- 3:19Speaker 1: come to one realization that we got ourselves there. We
- 3:23Speaker 1: put ourselves there by a series of thoughts and actions.
- 3:27Speaker 1: Thoughts turn into things. That's very important to know. So
- 3:33Speaker 1: let's look at both sides of it. For people who
- 3:36Speaker 1: think negative thoughts, it turns into negative things, and the
- 3:43Speaker 1: direct opposite is true for those who think positive thoughts,
- 3:48Speaker 1: it turns into positive things. That's the deal. It's as
- 3:54Speaker 1: simple as that, folks. I cannot break it down any clean,
- 4:00Speaker 1: I cannot make it any clearer. Thoughts become things. So
- 4:06Speaker 1: the one glaring question for all of us always is
- 4:10Speaker 1: on a daily basis, what are you thinking? What are
- 4:13Speaker 1: your thoughts? What are you thinking? What are your thoughts?
- 4:19Speaker 1: Because I can assure you. And it's not by or
- 4:23Speaker 1: promise of mind. This is not a theory that Steve
- 4:27Speaker 1: Harvey then came up with. This is a fact of life.
- 4:32Speaker 1: This is biblical, this is spiritual, this is written, this
- 4:37Speaker 1: is philosophical. This is the law of the universe. However,
- 4:41Speaker 1: you need to drink this medicine to take to get
- 4:44Speaker 1: it down and feel what I'm saying to you. This
- 4:47Speaker 1: is just the way it is now and here the
- 4:49Speaker 1: cold part, folks. It don't matter if you believe me
- 4:54Speaker 1: or not. It does not matter if you have never
- 4:58Speaker 1: been explained this or not. And it does not matter
- 5:03Speaker 1: if you think it works in your life or not.
- 5:06Speaker 1: It don't matter. Listen to me. It is the way
- 5:09Speaker 1: it is. It is as scriptural, it is as spiritual,
- 5:14Speaker 1: it is philosophical, it's just whatever. It's the law of
- 5:17Speaker 1: the universe. You call whatever you want call. However, you
- 5:20Speaker 1: got to dress this thing up to put it in
- 5:23Speaker 1: the phase that you can feel me. I want you
- 5:25Speaker 1: to feel me now, because this all it is. So.
- 5:29Speaker 1: When I say that you are where we are today
- 5:32Speaker 1: because we thought ourselves here, or your best to believe
- 5:35Speaker 1: that's true. You thought yourself here. No one else see.
- 5:40Speaker 1: Let me explain something. I got people around me who
- 5:44Speaker 1: so badly want to take credit for it, but I
- 5:48Speaker 1: don't allow it. But because I keep pointing to the heavens,
- 5:53Speaker 1: I keep pointing and trying to say it out loud
- 5:57Speaker 1: as many times as I can without being so offensive,
- 6:01Speaker 1: that my life is by design, by grace and mercy,
- 6:06Speaker 1: by blessings from God. My life is because God has
- 6:11Speaker 1: seen it to be so. Oh, but I got plenty
- 6:13Speaker 1: of people around me want credit for it and want
- 6:16Speaker 1: you to not give credit to God and give it
- 6:19Speaker 1: to them. I got that. I got that, But I
- 6:22Speaker 1: understand that. See, I understand what that is. That's a
- 6:25Speaker 1: person whose design is to get the credit. But it's okay.
- 6:31Speaker 1: It's so clear to me what my father was saying
- 6:33Speaker 1: to me. Man, I get it. As I get older
- 6:35Speaker 1: and older. He always said to me, son, everybody come
- 6:39Speaker 1: with you, can't go with you. See, you know, I
- 6:43Speaker 1: don't know how people say that in church. You know,
- 6:45Speaker 1: sometimes they go people come into your life for seasons,
- 6:48Speaker 1: and I guess the same thing. You know, they season up,
- 6:51Speaker 1: they're gone, well, you know, and then but then hither
- 6:55Speaker 1: way they try to hold you though, or you're gonna
- 6:57Speaker 1: forget where you come from. Oh you ain't gonna keep
- 7:01Speaker 1: it real no more. I don't want to go back
- 7:04Speaker 1: where I come from. I don't want to keep it
- 7:06Speaker 1: that real no more. It was real enough for me
- 7:09Speaker 1: living in a car. I had enough of that real.
- 7:12Speaker 1: I don't gonna keep it real now. I don't keep
- 7:14Speaker 1: it real. I want to go keep it dreamy. I
- 7:16Speaker 1: want to go keep it, fantasize it. I want. I
- 7:19Speaker 1: want to. I want to keep it out of this world.
- 7:21Speaker 1: I want to keep it off the chain. I want
- 7:23Speaker 1: to keep it moving. I want to keep it ball
- 7:25Speaker 1: and I want to see what that's like. So naw,
- 7:28Speaker 1: I ain't gonna forget why I come from. But you
- 7:30Speaker 1: ain't gonna hold me to that though See thoughts become
- 7:35Speaker 1: things all day long? Where's your vision board? Where are
- 7:40Speaker 1: the things that you wan't written down? What do you
- 7:43Speaker 1: think about the most? How grateful are you for what
- 7:47Speaker 1: all God has done for you? Where are you at
- 7:50Speaker 1: with that? See here another law? If thoughts become things,
- 7:57Speaker 1: Let me ask you this. If all you thinking about
- 8:01Speaker 1: is your debt, if all you're thinking about is what
- 8:04Speaker 1: you ain't got, If all you thinking about or is
- 8:08Speaker 1: all woe is me? If all you're thinking about is
- 8:10Speaker 1: every time I turn around, I'm sick. If all you're
- 8:13Speaker 1: thinking about it's the things in life that you're lacking.
- 8:19Speaker 1: If that's all you're thinking about, And if thoughts become things,
- 8:26Speaker 1: how much debt you think you're gonna stay in, how much?
- 8:30Speaker 1: How much how much lacking you think you finn to
- 8:32Speaker 1: feel your life with? How much most stuff you find
- 8:36Speaker 1: to not have because you keep thinking about it all
- 8:41Speaker 1: the time. When you're gonna be grateful, when you're gonna
- 8:45Speaker 1: say thank you, when it's gonna come out your mouth, Man,
- 8:49Speaker 1: that I may not be where I want to be,
- 8:52Speaker 1: but I show am grateful for what you've given me
- 8:55Speaker 1: so far, for the things I have today, because I
- 8:59Speaker 1: don't have to have these things? You know that does?
- 9:02Speaker 1: That then opens up room for more stuff to come
- 9:05Speaker 1: your way? To be grateful fall. But if you're gonna
- 9:08Speaker 1: be ungrateful, man, let me ask you. So. I ain't God,
- 9:12Speaker 1: I don't claim to be, But let me ask you something. Man,
- 9:15Speaker 1: If you're ungrateful for the things we've got, if we
- 9:18Speaker 1: can't show no gratitude for what we have, why would
- 9:22Speaker 1: God give us some most stuff to be ungrateful for?
- 9:26Speaker 1: Why would he do that for tada. Anybody feel me
- 9:30Speaker 1: right now? So when I say come on, y'all, dig me, now,
- 9:34Speaker 1: do you understand why I say dig me? Because I
- 9:36Speaker 1: want you to feel me. I want you to understand
- 9:38Speaker 1: and come to the understanding, not saying you ain't. Because
- 9:41Speaker 1: so many people got a deeper understanding than me about
- 9:43Speaker 1: this whole thing. I promise you they do, but they
- 9:46Speaker 1: listen to me. I'm just trying to get you to
- 9:48Speaker 1: walk up in this light, man, so you can go
- 9:50Speaker 1: on with your life and quit tripping yourself out with
- 9:52Speaker 1: your thoughts, because thoughts become things, all right. All day
- 9:57Speaker 1: you're listening show, I've got sunshine on a cloudy day
- 10:04Speaker 1: when it's cold outside. I got the month of May. Well,
- 10:08Speaker 1: I guess you say, what can make me feel this way?
- 10:12Speaker 1: My girl, my girl, I'm talking about my girl, my girl.
- 10:20Speaker 1: Ooh ooh know the song it's timeless. Well, today's another
- 10:31Speaker 1: great day. I want to also send another shout out
- 10:36Speaker 1: to the Bahamas, to Atlantis where I stayed. I stayed
- 10:41Speaker 1: at the Cove. It was just outstanding service out at
- 10:46Speaker 1: the pool, the cabanas. The food was really good. The
- 10:50Speaker 1: new restaurant Fish I hadn't seen before. Was really nice.
- 10:54Speaker 1: Had dinner there one night with some friends, said the entertainer,
- 11:00Speaker 1: Oh man at fish and then we had dinner one
- 11:08Speaker 1: night and no boos. We were laughing so hard and
- 11:11Speaker 1: no boos. Then went out there quick laughing, Kobe started
- 11:15Speaker 1: gambling and it got all of a sudden not so
- 11:18Speaker 1: funny man. And we played golf, laugh a lot of stuff.
- 11:26Speaker 1: So we had a great time. Uh, thank everybody down there.
- 11:29Speaker 1: I met the prime minister, wonderful man and the first
- 11:32Speaker 1: Lady of the Bahamas. I think she said her name
- 11:38Speaker 1: was um think yeah, you know what, first lady prime
- 11:46Speaker 1: and first prime minister lady and Marie oh I was it.
- 11:54Speaker 1: And so she was wonderful and um more beautiful than
- 11:58Speaker 1: her husband. I just want to add that, of course. Yeah.
- 12:03Speaker 1: Well you know sometimes you need to say it because
- 12:07Speaker 1: you're prime minister. You get so much credit. You know,
- 12:09Speaker 1: you gotta I know how you got that. You know.
- 12:12Speaker 1: If the wife don't up you, you can't be up.
- 12:15Speaker 1: Did you hear me? If your wife let me put
- 12:17Speaker 1: it to you this way. If your wife don't hold
- 12:19Speaker 1: you up, you can't stay up as the wife. I agree,
- 12:26Speaker 1: Ladies and gentlemen, Steve Harving, Martin Show, Sherley Strawberry callar
- 12:29Speaker 1: for real, Mouth of the South, and Junior, Junior, what's
- 12:31Speaker 1: on your mind? Man? Yeah, just do that for me.
- 12:34Speaker 1: Uncle said, if your wife can't hold you up, you
- 12:36Speaker 1: can't stay up. Just explain that to us out here.
- 12:40Speaker 1: A woman is like elevator button. They could take you
- 12:43Speaker 1: up or they can take you down. It's the same
- 12:47Speaker 1: way with a bad relationship. Men are the same way.
- 12:52Speaker 1: That's why it's very it's imperitive to choose wise now
- 12:57Speaker 1: in your choice selection, in your election process. You can
- 13:02Speaker 1: make mistakes and choose what you think is wise, and
- 13:06Speaker 1: then then something turns out altogether different for you. When
- 13:09Speaker 1: that does happen, it's okay. Take your error to God,
- 13:14Speaker 1: ask him how to fix it, and listen carefully to
- 13:20Speaker 1: what he says. Do and after that going to make
- 13:23Speaker 1: all the necessary corrections. And remember something in the words
- 13:27Speaker 1: of Slick Heart, everybody come with you, can't go with you,
- 13:32Speaker 1: all right, believe this break right there? All right? Thank you?
- 13:37Speaker 1: Coming up at thirty two minutes after the hour, Junior
- 13:39Speaker 1: in for the nephew to run that prank back right
- 13:42Speaker 1: after this. You're listening show and it's time now to
- 13:48Speaker 1: start your morning off with run that prank back. And
- 13:51Speaker 1: we got Junior in for the nephew Junior, which you
- 13:54Speaker 1: got this morning? Well, i'll tell you what I got, Shirley.
- 13:56Speaker 1: Something everybody probably experienced over the weekend. Some of y'all
- 13:59Speaker 1: wouldn't have happy, but this would happened. Your barbecue ain't right, man,
- 14:04Speaker 1: Your barbecue ain't right. Come on, cat trying to reach Gerald. Yeah,
- 14:11Speaker 1: this Jill. Who's calling? Man? He Gerald? This This is
- 14:14Speaker 1: Calvin Man. You um you live a couple of blocks
- 14:17Speaker 1: over for me. Man, I've been, I've been. I just
- 14:19Speaker 1: want to reach out to you. One of the neighbors
- 14:20Speaker 1: gaming your number, man, and uh, I just want to
- 14:23Speaker 1: tell you I don't want to know. I'm sorry. I
- 14:25Speaker 1: don't want to subscriptions or nothing. Brother, I might asnna
- 14:28Speaker 1: cut you off right now. Oh WHATNOTO subscriptions? You're calling
- 14:31Speaker 1: my subscriptions something? No, no, no, No, I'm a neighbor,
- 14:34Speaker 1: my man, I'm I'm I'm just a couple of blocks
- 14:37Speaker 1: over from you. No, I got your number form one
- 14:39Speaker 1: of the neighbors I was. I was calling to let
- 14:41Speaker 1: you know I've been smelling you. I've been smelling your barbecue. Man,
- 14:44Speaker 1: that's what I was calling about. Oh yeah, yeah, man,
- 14:46Speaker 1: you you've been grilling every day. Seemed like over there,
- 14:49Speaker 1: I've been smelling the smoke in the are you you
- 14:51Speaker 1: you over there putting it down? Huh? I mean I
- 14:54Speaker 1: think thank you for the compliment. But um, yeah, I
- 14:57Speaker 1: mean now you said, I mean I had nothing else
- 14:59Speaker 1: to do but cook, you know, in these times, I
- 15:01Speaker 1: mean I might as well get what i'm good at.
- 15:04Speaker 1: You know who who gave you my number? Though? Uh
- 15:07Speaker 1: it's a gown your street? Uh? Last name Edwards. I
- 15:11Speaker 1: can't remember to do first now I call him Edwards.
- 15:14Speaker 1: I think he lives on your street. I'm not sure.
- 15:16Speaker 1: So you when you cooking smoke? Man? I could I
- 15:20Speaker 1: burned a little bit at you know. That's and that's
- 15:21Speaker 1: why I call it like what like you know, from
- 15:23Speaker 1: one barbecue brother to another. I was just reaching out,
- 15:25Speaker 1: I said, man, it's burning over there, so you're putting
- 15:28Speaker 1: it in? Man? What what are you been cooking since?
- 15:30Speaker 1: Since since we've been locked down? I mean, you know,
- 15:32Speaker 1: I kind of been, you know, experimenting a little. I've
- 15:34Speaker 1: been doing some uh you know, doing some some different woods. Uh,
- 15:39Speaker 1: cherry you know, I kind of nix it in a
- 15:41Speaker 1: little bit of hickory, you know, kind of pills are
- 15:43Speaker 1: when I'm cooking, whether it's some fish just you know, chicken,
- 15:46Speaker 1: I mix it up every now and then, and sometimes
- 15:48Speaker 1: I have legally been experimented with this mesquite Yeah, I
- 15:50Speaker 1: mean the sleeve that just fall off the boat every
- 15:54Speaker 1: day about after four or three. Yeah, that's that's what
- 15:57Speaker 1: I've been smelling. The smoke because your smoke, you'll smoke
- 15:59Speaker 1: come into my yard. You know, I'm I'm two blocks
- 16:03Speaker 1: old when you're smoke carrying a good distance. Man. But
- 16:06Speaker 1: but I've been soaking my chips and all that stuff.
- 16:09Speaker 1: I mean, you know, I've been just trying some new techniques.
- 16:12Speaker 1: You know, crazy, Let me crazy. No, it ain't got
- 16:18Speaker 1: me going crazy. It's to be completely underwentch you it's
- 16:21Speaker 1: kind of got me up. You and your meet up,
- 16:23Speaker 1: so damn bad dog that I'm sitting this smelling this
- 16:26Speaker 1: sho and I'm trying to figure out what are you doing?
- 16:29Speaker 1: You know you you soaking this? You using cherry. Hey, man,
- 16:32Speaker 1: if you ain't putting no no pecan or no oaking there,
- 16:36Speaker 1: it's now you're you're a dude on the grill that
- 16:38Speaker 1: don't know what you're doing. And that's my why ain't
- 16:41Speaker 1: you cuts at me? Because don you you you from
- 16:44Speaker 1: a real barbecue man. You don't know what the you're doing?
- 16:48Speaker 1: And that's that's the whole I am. I've been in
- 16:50Speaker 1: competitions talking about the real barbecue, ain't. I mean I didn't.
- 16:54Speaker 1: They ain't no way, You've been in no damn competition
- 16:57Speaker 1: for no barbecue dog, not with this. I'm smelling. Man, Look,
- 17:02Speaker 1: I talk to you because I'm bored, and you're just
- 17:05Speaker 1: gonna start cutting at me and talking about my How
- 17:07Speaker 1: you know what it is? You haven't even I can.
- 17:10Speaker 1: I can smell it. I can smell a wood in
- 17:11Speaker 1: the air and no and know what's right or what's wrong?
- 17:14Speaker 1: Smell good? And did you just come out of nowhere cutting?
- 17:16Speaker 1: I mean, I knew we're all going crazy right now.
- 17:18Speaker 1: But hey man, hey man, listen, hear what I'm gonna
- 17:22Speaker 1: I'm gonna say this, but you ain't gonna cut that? Okay, cool? Cool,
- 17:25Speaker 1: I ain't gonna cut no more cool. But let me
- 17:26Speaker 1: say that, don't put nothing else on that up, don't
- 17:31Speaker 1: put nothing else on that grill. I swat teeth for
- 17:34Speaker 1: at least some more. I don't want to smell your smoke.
- 17:36Speaker 1: No mod dog gonna tell me what to do. You
- 17:38Speaker 1: don't even know me like that. You're just gonna have
- 17:40Speaker 1: to smell it. I'm just saying, I'm two blocks over
- 17:43Speaker 1: and I'm tired of smelling your smoke. I'm tired of
- 17:45Speaker 1: smelling it. You don't know what you're doing. Don't put
- 17:48Speaker 1: nothing else on that pit for at least another money.
- 17:51Speaker 1: I don't know what to tell you. If I'll put
- 17:53Speaker 1: some rotten tomatoes on there and I want to smoke,
- 17:56Speaker 1: you're gonna smell it. How about that? Man? Okay, man, no, no, no,
- 18:00Speaker 1: no no, I'm bored out of my mind you calling
- 18:03Speaker 1: me talking, hey don because because you got the smoking
- 18:07Speaker 1: ad and smell like you don't know what you're doing.
- 18:10Speaker 1: I do know what I'm doing. Have you tasted it?
- 18:14Speaker 1: I don't want to taste it. I don't want my
- 18:17Speaker 1: set off the bone. I've been experimented. Okay, Okay, I
- 18:21Speaker 1: did put some apple sauce, see that right there? What
- 18:24Speaker 1: the kids that you did? What with some apple sauce?
- 18:27Speaker 1: Hey man, don't put you ontical? Okay, I'm gonna sending
- 18:33Speaker 1: you some YouTube videos. You can learn how to bobeque
- 18:35Speaker 1: because you're gonna quit the neighborhood up, dog. Don't tell
- 18:38Speaker 1: me what to do. They don't sit right with me.
- 18:40Speaker 1: I ain't got no job right now, you're telling me
- 18:42Speaker 1: what to do. I ain't got this house. And you're
- 18:44Speaker 1: just gonna tell me what to do if your food
- 18:48Speaker 1: is tight while are you wasting it on the bottom? Brother?
- 18:51Speaker 1: Just quick, no, no, I'm trying to figure out how
- 18:54Speaker 1: to stop your ass from cooking. Man, from doing what?
- 18:58Speaker 1: No cooking out on your grill and everybody got the
- 19:01Speaker 1: smells that we know ain't being cook right. I'm a
- 19:04Speaker 1: barbecue man. I know what I'm doing. You don't. It
- 19:07Speaker 1: bothers me. So that's why I got your number. You
- 19:09Speaker 1: got a sauce with what competition you want? I don't
- 19:12Speaker 1: have to be in no competitions. Everybody come to get
- 19:15Speaker 1: my barbecue? Who that the bombs? No? I ain't no people. Okay,
- 19:19Speaker 1: Hey man, hey man, listen, listen. Let's finish this this way.
- 19:23Speaker 1: If you put something else on the grill, I'm gonna
- 19:25Speaker 1: come around there. Whoop your ass. You ain't how about that?
- 19:33Speaker 1: Just so my damn, it's called me with this bull
- 19:38Speaker 1: Hey man, hey this this nephew. Tell me from the

- 20:01Speaker 1: snicking with my eyes just for nothing. Now I'm gonna
- 20:05Speaker 1: tell you right now. He no, he ain't allowed over
- 20:07Speaker 1: here at all. He ain't allowed over here, hate all,
- 20:11Speaker 1: no ware, We didn't socially distance his assn hashtag it
- 20:16Speaker 1: in the front and the back. Hey man, you gotta
- 20:18Speaker 1: tell me this right here, right here, right now. Gerald,
- 20:21Speaker 1: what is the baddest and I mean the baddest radio
- 20:24Speaker 1: show in the land. Come on, brother, the Steve Harvey
- 20:27Speaker 1: Morning Show man with this nine shit talking about my
- 20:30Speaker 1: food and sauces, all this chicken undercook. I'm telling you,
- 20:35Speaker 1: I see so much red in here. I thought it. Hey,
- 20:41Speaker 1: all right, junior, thank you. Coming up next to is
- 20:45Speaker 1: asked the CLO Chief Love Officer, Steve Harvey in the
- 20:48Speaker 1: building for your love questions. Right after this, you're listening
- 20:53Speaker 1: to the Stave Harvey Morning Show coming up at the
- 20:56Speaker 1: top of the hour and entertainment news Dave Chappelle called
- 21:00Speaker 1: Will Smith over the Oscar slap, and Kim Kardashian goes
- 21:04Speaker 1: blonde in bare butt jockstrap picture for an Interview magazine's
- 21:10Speaker 1: American Dream cover. Wait till you see this, it's Interview Magazine. Um,
- 21:15Speaker 1: we'll talk about all of these stories at the top
- 21:17Speaker 1: of the hour. Here she broke the enginette, But right
- 21:19Speaker 1: now it is time to ask the CLO Chief Love
- 21:24Speaker 1: Officer Steve Harvey. All right, Sasha and Columbia writes, I
- 21:28Speaker 1: was picking up dinner last night and saw my stepfather
- 21:31Speaker 1: at the bar. He leaned in and gave me a
- 21:34Speaker 1: breathy hug, and his tongue brushed my earlobe. He's a
- 21:38Speaker 1: very handsome man, and he's come on to me before,
- 21:41Speaker 1: but never this strong. I'm a grown woman, so he
- 21:44Speaker 1: can't do this too many times before I give him
- 21:47Speaker 1: what he wants. It's my mom's fourth husband. So would
- 21:51Speaker 1: I be wrong? What girl? Why you? Why? Oh? No?
- 22:00Speaker 1: Not know the difference between right and would I be wrong?
- 22:05Speaker 1: I'm a grown woman. He better stop for our give
- 22:08Speaker 1: him what he wants. Sconne, do what you're gonna do,
- 22:10Speaker 1: don't ask involve me and Shellyan Yeah, would I be wrong? No, No,
- 22:16Speaker 1: you're perfectly fine. I don't give a damn if it's
- 22:19Speaker 1: her fourth. Yes, you can ruin that marriage to go ahead?
- 22:23Speaker 1: How horrible of a daughter is she? Man? Come on?
- 22:28Speaker 1: Sasha in Columbia, all right, Moving on clo to Harley
- 22:34Speaker 1: in Virginia. Harley writes, I'm a thirty year old married
- 22:37Speaker 1: woman and we've been married for six months. A month
- 22:40Speaker 1: after the wedding, he stayed out overnight. A month later
- 22:45Speaker 1: I found out he has a seven year old son.
- 22:48Speaker 1: Now he wants his twenty three year old sister to
- 22:50Speaker 1: live with us. We dated for a year before we
- 22:53Speaker 1: got married. But I don't know this man. Can I leave? Yeah?
- 23:00Speaker 1: Like person that question? Yeah? Day Audi? Yeah, well I
- 23:10Speaker 1: don't know you and the person I found you to
- 23:12Speaker 1: be I don't really care for. Yeah, just save ye
- 23:15Speaker 1: old boy. You got just twenty three old sister gonna
- 23:18Speaker 1: come there? What do you just picked the night out somewhere? Yeah,
- 23:21Speaker 1: let me get out of here for this, get crazy. Yeah,
- 23:24Speaker 1: they've only been married six months anyway, So bye, all right?
- 23:29Speaker 1: To leave? You be wrong to state? Yeah, there you go,
- 23:34Speaker 1: there you go right there? All right? Moving on to
- 23:37Speaker 1: Elena and himstead, Elena says, I've got a bone to
- 23:41Speaker 1: pick with the clo He said that men and women
- 23:45Speaker 1: can't be friends, and my husband won't allow me to
- 23:48Speaker 1: hang out at my male best friend's house anymore. He
- 23:51Speaker 1: said it has to be in public and during the daytime.
- 23:55Speaker 1: How can I get him to see that we're strictly
- 23:57Speaker 1: platonic and have been for years. Your friend is outwardly
- 24:05Speaker 1: and openly admittedly gay. Your husband is correct, you're hanging
- 24:13Speaker 1: out at his house full at night. Lady, you can
- 24:18Speaker 1: have a bone to pick with me all you want.
- 24:21Speaker 1: It don't look right, and it can lead to other
- 24:25Speaker 1: things if opportunity presents itself. So now he is the
- 24:32Speaker 1: other thing. Unless you are incredibly unattractive woman, Okay, I
- 24:42Speaker 1: don't nobody won't you then it's okay. But that must
- 24:49Speaker 1: not be the case because you have a husband. So
- 24:54Speaker 1: that takes you out of the incredibly unattractive space. Now
- 25:00Speaker 1: I don't know what you're trying to fit into this equation.
- 25:03Speaker 1: So you can go over there with you this man
- 25:05Speaker 1: you want to hang out with at night and at
- 25:07Speaker 1: his house and all this hill, But go ahead on
- 25:12Speaker 1: over there. The man to told you the rules. He
- 25:13Speaker 1: gonna let you have your little friend, and had to
- 25:16Speaker 1: be daytime, it had to be in the public, in public. Yeah,
- 25:19Speaker 1: So you're saying, you're you're saying, if she, if she's unattractive,
- 25:23Speaker 1: it's okay. But if you're if you're an attractive woman,
- 25:26Speaker 1: you can't. Yeah, okay, because he's gonna try it at
- 25:30Speaker 1: some point, that's what you're saying. Yeah, and that are
- 25:33Speaker 1: really no horribly unattractive women. So you understand what I'm saying.
- 25:39Speaker 1: Going over if you want to, I'm telling you, yeah.
- 25:42Speaker 1: So you're back to your original statement. Can't be friends.
- 25:46Speaker 1: They can't. Why you won't over there at night alone
- 25:49Speaker 1: with him? Why you won't over there? And why does
- 25:53Speaker 1: he want you over there? See when if he's a
- 25:57Speaker 1: real man, he would respect this man. That's right, that's right.
- 26:01Speaker 1: That's but if you're a wife, you would respect your
- 26:04Speaker 1: husband's wishes just as you would want your husband to
- 26:07Speaker 1: respect your wishes. Absolutely. I can't go over no girls
- 26:11Speaker 1: house and nothing else, nothing, nothing, barely get a glass
- 26:20Speaker 1: of water. I guess what. I don't allow, Maudrey duty.
- 26:23Speaker 1: So now we're cool. If y'all want to do it,
- 26:27Speaker 1: I'm telling you go ahead. But if that person is
- 26:31Speaker 1: attracted to you, They're not gonna stay your friend if
- 26:34Speaker 1: they get the as Yeah, this is such a hot
- 26:38Speaker 1: button issue. You know, can man men and women be friends?
- 26:42Speaker 1: It just always comes up. If it always attracted to you,
- 26:45Speaker 1: I don't care what you're saying, all right. Last one,
- 26:50Speaker 1: Steve moving on Varchet in Birmingham, says, I'm in an
- 26:54Speaker 1: office environment with single black professional men and they overlook
- 27:00Speaker 1: me in the office. I think it's because I'm a
- 27:03Speaker 1: curvy girl, and I sure hope it's not because I'm
- 27:06Speaker 1: a black girl. I want to invite myself to lunch
- 27:10Speaker 1: with a group of them, just to see how they'll react.
- 27:13Speaker 1: Is that too forward or should I go for it?
- 27:16Speaker 1: She's in an office environment with single black professional men. See,
- 27:21Speaker 1: this is not a profess she's got curbed. She's asking
- 27:25Speaker 1: this is a personal question. She's obviously saying that they're
- 27:29Speaker 1: overlooking her, not in business wise, because that would be
- 27:32Speaker 1: an HR man. This is that they're overlooking me as
- 27:36Speaker 1: a one of it. So this sounds like a boy
- 27:39Speaker 1: girl question because she's curvy and black. No, could it
- 27:43Speaker 1: be because of HR policies They're not going to risk
- 27:49Speaker 1: their job in their position hanging out with the one
- 27:54Speaker 1: person over that the woman that could get them into
- 27:57Speaker 1: some type of trouble or something could be miss red
- 28:01Speaker 1: or inappropriate behavior in the job place. I think a
- 28:04Speaker 1: lot of this stuff has caused a lot of different
- 28:08Speaker 1: ways that men have to act now, even the honorable
- 28:13Speaker 1: and good men have to make adjustments too. Right, So
- 28:17Speaker 1: now y'all don't want nobody saying nothing to y'all are
- 28:20Speaker 1: disrespecting you as a woman. Now, man feel like he
- 28:23Speaker 1: can't say nothing, So ain't no compliments? And you look
- 28:28Speaker 1: good to day? Show like that you want you want
- 28:32Speaker 1: to wear the blue and more. You have to say
- 28:35Speaker 1: it like that, Well, you know, hey, I like to
- 28:39Speaker 1: dress you were you look great and you wear blue
- 28:40Speaker 1: more often. But she's saying she she wants to invite
- 28:49Speaker 1: herself to lunch. You can invite yourself to lunch. They're
- 28:52Speaker 1: not going stop embarrassing yourself. Just wait and let it happen. Yep,
- 28:57Speaker 1: ain't about talking to you rubbing their thighs. But thank you.
- 29:00Speaker 1: Cello coming up at the top of the hour will
- 29:04Speaker 1: ask entertainment news for you. Right after this, you're listening.
- 29:13Speaker 1: According to the Black Information Network, Dave Chappelle said Will
- 29:16Speaker 1: Smith's mask came off when he slapped Chris Rock at
- 29:20Speaker 1: the Oscars earlier this year, revealing something ugly beneath, and
- 29:24Speaker 1: Chappelle said he hopes the mask stays off. A lot
- 29:27Speaker 1: of people forgot who Will Smith really is. He reminded
- 29:32Speaker 1: the audience that Will was from a rough part of Philadelphia.
- 29:36Speaker 1: Then ten minutes before he was about to get the
- 29:38Speaker 1: biggest award, he acted like he was back in Philadelphia.
- 29:42Speaker 1: Chappelle went on to say Will did the impression of
- 29:45Speaker 1: a perfect person for thirty years, and he ripped his
- 29:48Speaker 1: mask off and showed us he was as ugly as
- 29:51Speaker 1: the rest of us. Whatever the consequences are, Chapelle said,
- 29:54Speaker 1: I hope he doesn't put his mask back on again
- 29:57Speaker 1: and lets his real face breathe. And then both Chappelle
- 30:02Speaker 1: and Chris Rock joked about their attacks. Chappelle told Chris
- 30:07Speaker 1: at least you got smacked by someone a repute, uh,
- 30:11Speaker 1: And then he Chappelle said, I got smacked by a
- 30:14Speaker 1: homeless guy with leaves in his hair. Chapelle, you know,
- 30:24Speaker 1: I kind of understand what he's said about Will because
- 30:27Speaker 1: Will had a brand Steven when he started rapping. You know,
- 30:31Speaker 1: big hit parents just don't understand clean raplane. And so
- 30:37Speaker 1: once you get on TV and you're the fresh prince
- 30:39Speaker 1: of bel Air, he became this brand. But everybody's brand
- 30:45Speaker 1: is flawed all about it. And so what I, thankfully
- 30:52Speaker 1: and grateful to God, have been able to do with
- 30:55Speaker 1: my brand is reveal the real Steve Harvey from time
- 30:59Speaker 1: to time, you know, instead of having yeah on this
- 31:04Speaker 1: show on a couple of moves outside, you know, because
- 31:08Speaker 1: it ain't, but so far you could push me. You know,
- 31:12Speaker 1: I'm not right, it ain't, but so much you're gonna
- 31:15Speaker 1: say about me, and you're not gonna say none of
- 31:17Speaker 1: it to my face, and you can eat me alive
- 31:20Speaker 1: on the internet because you're a little thumb gangster butterfly.
- 31:23Speaker 1: But in my face, though, when I get a chance
- 31:26Speaker 1: to speak how I want to speak, I will say it.
- 31:29Speaker 1: And I think it was a good thing for Will.
- 31:31Speaker 1: No Will has apologized and he wants to make him
- 31:33Speaker 1: comeback as he should. But I think the only time
- 31:37Speaker 1: this is gonna get real, Like I don't mind that
- 31:41Speaker 1: I accepted his apologies, not for me, but until it
- 31:46Speaker 1: won't fix until he fixes it with Chris Rock, I'm
- 31:49Speaker 1: gonna tell you why I say that the mistake I
- 31:52Speaker 1: made at the twenty fifteen Miss Universe, everybody wanted a statement.
- 31:57Speaker 1: I wouldn't give anybody a statement until I had Miss
- 32:02Speaker 1: Columbia on my talk show and I was able to
- 32:06Speaker 1: apologize to her and her father. And then I made
- 32:10Speaker 1: a statement about it because it didn't matter what nobody else. Man,
- 32:14Speaker 1: I'm sorry to the country at Columbia. Now, I made
- 32:16Speaker 1: a mistake. I ain't got to apologize to the whole
- 32:18Speaker 1: damn country. What happened happened to this moment, and I
- 32:21Speaker 1: wanted to apologize to her, and that's the only way
- 32:24Speaker 1: you really write it. So until you get over there
- 32:27Speaker 1: at Chris he had done that immediately, Will Smith, I
- 32:30Speaker 1: think we wouldn't even be really discussing this right now.
- 32:33Speaker 1: He had immediately apologized to Chris Rock like that night. No,
- 32:40Speaker 1: he apologized only to the academy. See, he was taking
- 32:45Speaker 1: care of himself, Yeah, his job, his career, his brand.
- 32:52Speaker 1: And then he didn't realize how severe the backlash was
- 32:56Speaker 1: going to be. And for the first time, they was
- 32:58Speaker 1: eating him alive and he couldn't have it, and he
- 33:01Speaker 1: went away for three four months. Then he got the
- 33:05Speaker 1: courage and found the Wheelton come back, and I got
- 33:08Speaker 1: to apologize to board than just the Academy, because I
- 33:12Speaker 1: thought that was that funky little statement he made. I
- 33:15Speaker 1: want to apologize to the Academy, apologize to Chris Rock.
- 33:20Speaker 1: You didn't smack the Academy. You smacked Chris Rock. You know.
- 33:23Speaker 1: Then afterwards you had the club to answer with the
- 33:26Speaker 1: oscar in your hand. Bad look. But when you, mister righteous,
- 33:34Speaker 1: you don't know how to. He just kept trying to
- 33:36Speaker 1: be the brand, and he found out the brand had
- 33:38Speaker 1: gotten tarnished, which was good for Will Yeah as a man.
- 33:44Speaker 1: But well we know about Yeah, And that's what I
- 33:48Speaker 1: think I'd have slapped a little rapper for anyway, all
- 33:57Speaker 1: the other entertainment news. Nearly a decade after Kim Kardashian
- 34:01Speaker 1: broke the Internet with her runchy paper magazine cover, Kim
- 34:06Speaker 1: is showing her bare butt once again, and this time
- 34:09Speaker 1: it's for Interview Magazine's American Dream issue. Kim Kardashian is
- 34:13Speaker 1: on the cover of Interview Magazine in a very cheeky
- 34:17Speaker 1: design with a blue leather denim look by Botega Veneta,
- 34:21Speaker 1: consisting of a jacket and loose fitting jeans pulled down
- 34:24Speaker 1: low enough to reveal her butt with Anna Jack's jockstrap.
- 34:29Speaker 1: Not to mention, Kim's platinum blonde hair is matched to
- 34:33Speaker 1: her bleached eyebrows. Have you guys seen the I'm looking
- 34:40Speaker 1: forward currently as you read, go ahead. I don't know why.
- 34:42Speaker 1: It was everywhere everywhere. Yeah, and there's more news about
- 34:48Speaker 1: Kim Kardashian. In that same article, she answered the question
- 34:52Speaker 1: what are some of your actual talents? You know, because
- 34:54Speaker 1: that's what people A lot of people say, how did
- 34:56Speaker 1: they get so famous? They have no talent? Kim Kim
- 35:00Speaker 1: clapped back, I mean, I could give you a million
- 35:02Speaker 1: effing talent. I can cook, well, use my toes for anything.
- 35:07Speaker 1: I could tell you the weirdest uh FFing s on
- 35:11Speaker 1: the planet. But I think my talent is marketing and
- 35:14Speaker 1: the business behind selling products and knowing what the customer
- 35:18Speaker 1: wants and making it feel attainable but also a bit unattatable.
- 35:22Speaker 1: At the same time, she said she wouldn't necessarily say
- 35:26Speaker 1: it's a talent, but a bit of magic and Disney
- 35:28Speaker 1: Sabbath business savvy, and maybe that is a talent I think, correct,
- 35:33Speaker 1: m you know what I mean, She's a marketing whizz. Yeah, yeah,
- 35:38Speaker 1: you may not have to agree with the way she
- 35:40Speaker 1: do it. Yeah, but yeah, she went she's winning. Yeah yeah, yeah.
- 35:46Speaker 1: All right, coming up twenty minutes after the hour, there
- 35:49Speaker 1: are a lot of celebrities supporting Kanye West, and we'll
- 35:51Speaker 1: talk about it with his beef with Adidas right after
- 35:54Speaker 1: this You're listening show. Celebrities are supporting Kanye West and
- 36:01Speaker 1: his feud with Adidas did he posted on social media?
- 36:05Speaker 1: Since the era of Run DMC, Adidas has always used
- 36:09Speaker 1: hip hop to build its brand and make billions off
- 36:12Speaker 1: of our culture. But we are more than just consumers now,
- 36:17Speaker 1: we are the owners. Kanye West and Yeasy are the
- 36:21Speaker 1: reason Adidas is relevant to culture. We know our value.
- 36:26Speaker 1: Okay sow Its Beats is also supporting Kanye and he posted,
- 36:31Speaker 1: I usually mind my business, but this is dead wrong.
- 36:35Speaker 1: If we let them do this too at Kanye West,
- 36:38Speaker 1: it will happen to us. Also, this man created this
- 36:42Speaker 1: groundbreaking innovation and it should be respective and it should
- 36:46Speaker 1: be respected as a creative. Yay is only asking for
- 36:50Speaker 1: his work to be respected and not stolen. That's not
- 36:54Speaker 1: crazy to me. So Kanye is claiming that Adidas plagiarized
- 36:58Speaker 1: his designs and even offered him a one billion dollar buyout.
- 37:03Speaker 1: Kanye wrote in an Instagram post, they tried to buy
- 37:07Speaker 1: me out for one billion dollars. My royalties next year
- 37:10Speaker 1: are five hundred million dollars alone. So yet he's absolutely correctedness, Yeah, yes, correct,
- 37:22Speaker 1: And I'd be willing to support a boycott unless they
- 37:25Speaker 1: do the right thing. But I would support a boycott,
- 37:30Speaker 1: and I say a boycott with an end result and
- 37:36Speaker 1: a way to do it. What we cannot do is
- 37:39Speaker 1: ask the masses to boycott and not give them the
- 37:43Speaker 1: reason and point of action. You know, boycott don't mean
- 37:49Speaker 1: don't be seen in the ones you bought anymore. That
- 37:53Speaker 1: could mean don't buy anymore, don't buy any more Adidas period.
- 37:59Speaker 1: Then you have their undivided attention because this cat is right. Man.
- 38:04Speaker 1: As wrong as Kanye can be about some things, he
- 38:07Speaker 1: ain't wrong about this with nowhere, and it takes all
- 38:11Speaker 1: of us to make a change from the culture. Ye see,
- 38:15Speaker 1: like he's saying, he getting five hundred million in royalties,
- 38:19Speaker 1: so why would he's selling for a billion next time?
- 38:22Speaker 1: And because he young enough to live ten years? See
- 38:24Speaker 1: me a billion? I sell all these shoes I got,
- 38:29Speaker 1: and you can come get Margery's shoes too, all these
- 38:32Speaker 1: billion you come get all these damn shoes. I'm telling
- 38:37Speaker 1: you right now, you come get these bags too. Now
- 38:39Speaker 1: I have to kill him, but you come in here
- 38:40Speaker 1: and get these bags. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, you can
- 38:44Speaker 1: come get all these damn bags too. Now that's gonna
- 38:46Speaker 1: start a real argument at our house. Yes, I give
- 38:51Speaker 1: her that hundred million. I'm y'all right, yeah, but you
- 38:58Speaker 1: just can't rob the man. Come on, ye all right,
- 39:02Speaker 1: we'll keep your posts right now, all right, coming up
- 39:09Speaker 1: at thirty four minutes after the hour, we're gonna check
- 39:11Speaker 1: your voicemail. Steve. Call us eight seven seven twenty nine, Steve,
- 39:15Speaker 1: eight seven seven twenty nine, Steve. Right after this, you're
- 39:18Speaker 1: listening to the Stave Harvey Morning Show. It is time
- 39:22Speaker 1: now to check Steve's voicemail. If you want to leave
- 39:25Speaker 1: a message for Steve, call him up at eight seven
- 39:27Speaker 1: seven twenty nine, Steve. All right, Steve. This first caller,
- 39:31Speaker 1: his name is Steve. He's from Chicago, and he listens
- 39:34Speaker 1: to be one oh three Yes, Hi, My name once
- 39:37Speaker 1: again is Steve Lurry. And I was just listening to
- 39:39Speaker 1: one oh two point seven Steve Harvey talking about inspirational
- 39:46Speaker 1: and how gentlemen out in the ocean asking God, why
- 39:52Speaker 1: have you put me through these troubled waters? And God
- 39:56Speaker 1: answered him because your enemies can't swim. That is a very,
- 40:00Speaker 1: very very powerful analogy. I am going through health issues
- 40:07Speaker 1: right now. I've had two heart attacks, one in March
- 40:12Speaker 1: and one in April. And I always listened to one
- 40:18Speaker 1: or two point seven Steve Harvey. I've listened to him
- 40:23Speaker 1: on many channels when I was in Atlanta, on all over.
- 40:26Speaker 1: But you can tell Steve Harvey that Steve Lurry said,
- 40:33Speaker 1: keep on doing what you're doing. I would appreciate that
- 40:37Speaker 1: because he's a very inspirational individual. Thank you for your time.
- 40:44Speaker 1: I appreciate you taking my call by You know that
- 40:51Speaker 1: you have a heart attack in March and April. That's
- 40:54Speaker 1: pretty frighty, right, I mean, your heart is a major organ.
- 40:59Speaker 1: Man to spare. You can't have heard trouble. That's that's talk.
- 41:03Speaker 1: You have a heart attack in March and April. You
- 41:07Speaker 1: may have any attack, any attack at all. The attack
- 41:11Speaker 1: can come from a health standpoint, or business standpoint, of
- 41:15Speaker 1: personal relationship standpoint. You can have any attack. But God
- 41:20Speaker 1: won't let the attack. Have you and that's the key.
- 41:24Speaker 1: I've been under attack many times. But the problem you
- 41:28Speaker 1: got when you come for me as an enemy is
- 41:32Speaker 1: my God versus my enemies. Ready, go okay, Pardner. And
- 41:43Speaker 1: that's the way I've learned to live my life now.
- 41:45Speaker 1: I always didn't do it that way. It was me
- 41:48Speaker 1: versus my enemies a lot of times. The moment I
- 41:51Speaker 1: learned how to step aside and let God show me
- 41:55Speaker 1: what he trying to show me in this test, it
- 41:58Speaker 1: simply became my God is my enemies. And you go
- 42:01Speaker 1: ahead if you want to. But I feel sorry for people.
- 42:04Speaker 1: I really do. I really I feel sorry for people
- 42:08Speaker 1: attack me. The next one, all right, the next caller
- 42:12Speaker 1: is a James. He needs your help, but he didn't
- 42:14Speaker 1: leave a lot of information. You'll see all are you doing, Steve?
- 42:19Speaker 1: My name is James, and I have such a work
- 42:22Speaker 1: for a young lady that has my belongings and they
- 42:25Speaker 1: doesn't want to give them back. Trying to see if
- 42:28Speaker 1: you could have helped me getting my belongings back so
- 42:31Speaker 1: that I want to take her to court. Thank you,
- 42:34Speaker 1: really appreciate you here. Well, James, ain't a lot of
- 42:37Speaker 1: information in this hell. I don't know what belongs you
- 42:42Speaker 1: referring to if you're talking about two children, got about
- 42:46Speaker 1: some clothes, if she got your yeah, you know she
- 42:50Speaker 1: didn't change the locks on the dope. I don't know
- 42:53Speaker 1: what did happened, James, but what you're doing to try
- 42:56Speaker 1: not to take her to court because i've you ain't
- 43:01Speaker 1: got the money for this court. You know. Sometimes James,
- 43:08Speaker 1: there's a blessing in this, James. Sometimes God clears the
- 43:15Speaker 1: way for us to start over in a new and
- 43:18Speaker 1: it's uncomfortable starting over, and it's it's uncomfortable beginning anew
- 43:24Speaker 1: because you want to you want to keep hold of
- 43:26Speaker 1: the things you've required. But maybe it's time for something new.
- 43:31Speaker 1: That's some scripture James, and saying forget about the things
- 43:34Speaker 1: of the past. He's doing a new thing in your life.
- 43:39Speaker 1: And this could be that new thing, James, Jame, you
- 43:42Speaker 1: probably ain't gonna get that stuff back going out there.
- 43:48Speaker 1: I can't. There's a whole lot of stuff out of
- 43:52Speaker 1: popets of mind across this country for back in the day,
- 43:55Speaker 1: and I ain't. I never got him back, and he
- 43:57Speaker 1: gave me a bunch of new stuff, So yeah, out
- 44:01Speaker 1: with the old, all right. Thank you for your calls
- 44:09Speaker 1: coming up next to it is a praying phone call
- 44:11Speaker 1: with Junior ind for the nephew. Right after this, you're
- 44:15Speaker 1: listening to show coming up at the top of the hour,
- 44:21Speaker 1: right about four minutes after it's my strawberry letter for
- 44:24Speaker 1: today and the subject is my man, his band and
- 44:29Speaker 1: his band. Okay, what my man his band and his band?

- 44:42Speaker 1: all right, we'll get into that in just a bit
- 44:44Speaker 1: find out what that's all about. It Right now, Junior

- 48:43Speaker 1: do you what? I'm sorry? What? Well, I'm okay, okay, okay,
- 48:46Speaker 1: oh wow, all right? So my car is gone? Car
- 48:50Speaker 1: is gone? Is that what you're telling me right now?
- 48:51Speaker 1: Somebody company and took my car? Well, well, hey, we're

- 49:17Speaker 1: Right now? Well? Hold on, hold on, I understand, I understand.
- 49:20Speaker 1: Let me ask you something. Is there a way? Um?
- 49:23Speaker 1: Is there a way? Maybe you can come by tomorrow
- 49:26Speaker 1: and we can try to work. Come now and just
- 49:27Speaker 1: see it. You know, No, there is no way. I'm
- 49:31Speaker 1: coming by tomorrow for a car that's listening today. First
- 49:34Speaker 1: of all, we need to get the police involved in this.
- 49:36Speaker 1: I don't even know mister Frank right now, mister Frank,

- 50:01Speaker 1: car is there. You should already be in a car
- 50:04Speaker 1: driving YO. Ask to this man's house talking to me
- 50:08Speaker 1: right now. Hey, the fact that you're not there, it's malpractice.

- 50:13Speaker 1: I'm suing the managers. I'm suing THEO made the valet box.
- 50:16Speaker 1: I'm sure everybody affiliated with YO business. You didn't see
- 50:19Speaker 1: me right now, I'm kiding good. It's a parking Why
- 50:23Speaker 1: are you? Why are you? Why are you upset with me?
- 50:25Speaker 1: I didn't do nothing, I didn't take the car. Okay,
- 50:28Speaker 1: why are you responsible? For this market. But are you
- 50:31Speaker 1: a manager? What's your occuproblement? Sir? Why are you going
- 50:34Speaker 1: to manage? I'm the manager here. An Orlando called you earlier, okay,
- 50:39Speaker 1: and we're trying to find out where the car is

- 53:49Speaker 1: and more, please submit your Strawberry Letter to Steve HARVEYFM

- 53:56Speaker 1: reading your letter live on the air, just like we're
- 54:00Speaker 1: going to read this one right here, right now, and
- 54:02Speaker 1: you never know, because it could be yours. This could
- 54:05Speaker 1: be the one right here that you wrote. All right,
- 54:08Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen, it is time for the Strawberry letta
- 54:11Speaker 1: with my great friend Shirley Strawberry. Thank you, Junior, my
- 54:15Speaker 1: great friend too. Subject my man, his band and his band.
- 54:20Speaker 1: Dear Stephen Shirley, I've been dating a musician for almost
- 54:24Speaker 1: two years, and he's so different from anyone I've ever dated.
- 54:27Speaker 1: We met at an engagement party and the bride to
- 54:30Speaker 1: be begged me to give him a chance. He is
- 54:33Speaker 1: a black hippie that sings R and B cover songs.
- 54:36Speaker 1: Wrap your mind around that. He has a three piece band,
- 54:40Speaker 1: all females. He has a most beautiful smile, and I
- 54:44Speaker 1: was really attracted to his fluffy beard, so I decided
- 54:47Speaker 1: to give him a try. He teaches high school and
- 54:50Speaker 1: he performs on the weekends. I'm an executive assistant, so
- 54:54Speaker 1: our worlds collide and the way we dress and how
- 54:57Speaker 1: we spend our free time. Likes that I am different,
- 55:01Speaker 1: and he calls me miss uppity all the time. He
- 55:05Speaker 1: used to drive to nearby sights to perform, and I
- 55:08Speaker 1: would ride with him when it was just me and him.
- 55:11Speaker 1: Then he decided he needed a van so he could
- 55:14Speaker 1: provide transportation for his band. I thought he was putting
- 55:17Speaker 1: an awful lot into his side gig, but I let
- 55:20Speaker 1: him be. I stopped traveling with him because I was
- 55:23Speaker 1: not going to ride with three other females whose conversation
- 55:26Speaker 1: was like talking to third graders. His van needs a
- 55:29Speaker 1: lot of work, and I was worried that he was
- 55:32Speaker 1: going to break down on the highway one day, and
- 55:34Speaker 1: he did. I went to get him, and he wanted
- 55:38Speaker 1: the girls in the band to ride back with us.
- 55:40Speaker 1: I suggested they called their family or significant others to
- 55:43Speaker 1: come get them. He did not like that, and he
- 55:47Speaker 1: said they are a unit and if they can't go,
- 55:49Speaker 1: he was staying with them. He's my man and my
- 55:53Speaker 1: only responsibility. I really want him to realize that he
- 55:57Speaker 1: is not a superstar and he should focus on getting
- 55:59Speaker 1: for motive to a principle at his school, which he's
- 56:03Speaker 1: been recommended for. He's forty nine years old and he's
- 56:07Speaker 1: time to give up the van and the band. Am
- 56:10Speaker 1: I wrong? Girl? What? Really? This is over? Okay? He
- 56:18Speaker 1: stayed with his band and not you. That shows where
- 56:21Speaker 1: his priorities are. He wasn't going to let his three
- 56:24Speaker 1: female band members be abandoned on the highway by you.
- 56:27Speaker 1: And why would he when you had a perfectly fine
- 56:29Speaker 1: card that could fit all of you guys. I mean
- 56:32Speaker 1: you could have done that for them at that time.
- 56:35Speaker 1: It wasn't very nice what you did, and he didn't
- 56:37Speaker 1: like it. But this is a grown man, like you said,
- 56:40Speaker 1: he's forty nine years old. It's a grown man that
- 56:43Speaker 1: we're talking about here. He was doing this before you
- 56:46Speaker 1: met him. You knew it and dated him. Anyway, Now
- 56:49Speaker 1: you want him to change suddenly he needs to be
- 56:52Speaker 1: a principal and just lose his band. Well, no, he
- 56:56Speaker 1: enjoys doing this. He has a bond with his band,
- 57:00Speaker 1: and obviously because he stayed with them, not with you.
- 57:04Speaker 1: And nowhere in this letter did he say he was
- 57:06Speaker 1: trying to make a big be a superstar any of that.
- 57:08Speaker 1: He sings R and B covers on the weekends, not
- 57:12Speaker 1: original music, not anything like that. He's not trying to
- 57:15Speaker 1: get a record deal. It seems to be good enough
- 57:17Speaker 1: for him to make a few extra coins for his
- 57:19Speaker 1: weekend gigs, and that seems like all he wants to do.
- 57:23Speaker 1: That in his full time teaching job are fulfillment for
- 57:26Speaker 1: him right now. But it's not enough for you, and
- 57:29Speaker 1: that's understandable. You want him to leave the band, leave
- 57:33Speaker 1: the girls, and I agree with you on this one,
- 57:35Speaker 1: leave that raggedy van. And you want him to take
- 57:38Speaker 1: the principal's job. Well, I mean, he might think you're
- 57:41Speaker 1: not being supportive or whatever. But after two years, you
- 57:45Speaker 1: know you could speak up and say how you feel.
- 57:48Speaker 1: I think you're now on the list of things that
- 57:50Speaker 1: he's getting rid of though, because you didn't want the
- 57:54Speaker 1: girls to ride with you when the bus broke down.
- 57:57Speaker 1: That was ugly. He didn't like it. He made his
- 58:00Speaker 1: choice right then and there. To me, he's decided to
- 58:02Speaker 1: stick with them and not you. So you're out and
- 58:05Speaker 1: you can be out. It's okay, Steve, Well, let's just
- 58:09Speaker 1: get to it. You're dating a black hippie. What you want?
- 58:16Speaker 1: You have described the person who is not going to
- 58:22Speaker 1: live a regular life, doesn't want a regular existence, ain't
- 58:27Speaker 1: too interested in nothing outside of what he want to do.
- 58:32Speaker 1: My man, his vand and his band. Now you've been
- 58:36Speaker 1: dating this guy for two years and you say he's
- 58:40Speaker 1: different from anybody you've ever dated. He's different than anybody
- 58:44Speaker 1: ever wrote in this show before in twenty years too. Yeah,
- 58:48Speaker 1: the black hippie, that's a first. So I know, goodn't hear?
- 58:51Speaker 1: Welly different? You made him at an engagement party. The
- 58:57Speaker 1: bride asked you to give him a chance. He's a
- 59:01Speaker 1: black hippie that sings d cover songs. Win going nowhere
- 59:07Speaker 1: with this. Let's just admit that just some he Roscoe
- 59:13Speaker 1: Wallace is this Roscoe Wallast. Yeah, you you date Roscoe
- 59:20Speaker 1: wa He's black hippie. Now wrap your mind around that,
- 59:28Speaker 1: y'all wrapped it around that. He got a three piece band,
- 59:31Speaker 1: all females. What yeah? Yeah, so three piece band, all females.
- 59:38Speaker 1: I'm assuming three of them are females or two. He
- 59:44Speaker 1: had the most beautiful smile, and I was attracted to
- 59:47Speaker 1: his fluffy beard. So you like to wear a man
- 59:50Speaker 1: smile and beat it and and facial hell and you
- 59:53Speaker 1: in skipped it with and all this here you in.
- 59:58Speaker 1: He teaches high school and he performs on the weekends.
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: I'm an executive system. Our world's collided, the way we dress,
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: how we spend our free time. He likes that I'm different,
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: and he calls me miss uppity all the time. Woman's
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: up Andy. When we come back, I will tell you
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: the rest of what I think. And that's gonna be
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: in and Steve, we got to know about some of
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: these outfits that he wears, because she said their worlds collide.
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: All right, We'll have part two of Steve's response coming
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: up at twenty three minutes after the hour of My man,
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: who's band and his band is a subject of today's
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: Strawberry Letter. We'll get back to it right after this.
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: You're listening show, all right, Come on, Steve, let's recap
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: today's strawberry letter. The subject my man, his band and
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: his band. Well, this lady's writing us course, for two
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: years after she met this man at this engagement party,
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: the bride to be begged her to give the man
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: a chance. This man is a black hip that sings
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: on bee cover songs. Wrap your mind around that. Now,
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: how do we know he's a hitterer? Ye, well, let's
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: talk about it. When he got this fluffy beard and
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: a beautiful smile. He got on a darshiki. That's the
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: first thing black hippies gonna do. They're gonna put on
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: a darshiki. Then he gonna have a bunch of beads
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: around his neck, and all of them is made out
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: of wood, and a piece of jewelry on his ass.
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: It's all wood. He always wears linen slacks with a
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: drawstring in him, and he got on some damn moccasins.
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: That is an old black hippie singing on bee cover songs,
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: and he ain't just singing any cover songs. He sang
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: his songs that you don't mean stuff to hippies, rum
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: in my face with his finger, singing my live with
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: his song killing miss saw fleeweed here soon whoa so softly?
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: With his song? He words, he soon killing me softly? Yeah,
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: these are songs he's doing. They've got a three piece band,
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: all females because ain't no man signed up for this.
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: We're not getting behind. But these women that ain't got
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: no men here they come. He teaches high school and
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: he performs on the weekend and exact six six she's
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: an executive assistant. Our world's colliding ways, we dress, how
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: we spend up, the likes that I'm different, and he
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: calls me miss upany all the time forms in nearby cities,
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: and I would ride with him when it was just
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: me and him. Then he decided he needed a van
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: so he could provide transportation for his band. Anytime you
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: decide to buy van for the band, you're tying your
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: future to the band. Nobody signs forty nine year old
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: black hippies that sang on be cover songs, so there
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: is no future. Hill he has decided he's gonna wrap
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: all his extra money out in the him and these
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: three girls. Even when the five got rid of the
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: one girl they had in a group, it just don't
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: work out. Yeah, that was the last time you heard
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: from her. I thought he was putting an awful lot
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: into his side gig. But I let him be stop
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: traveling with him because I was not gonna ride with
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: three other females. Oh so it is three is four
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: all together? Yes? Whose conversation was like talking to third graders.
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: His van needs a lot of work. I was worried
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: he was gonna break down on the highway one day,
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: and he did. All vans break down on the highway
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: at some point. Probably bought a forty e count online
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: or conversion band. Oh, you got everybody packed up in
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: there with him, crushed vel the seats, and he got
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: the squibble button. Only got a little refrigerator back refrigerator.
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: He works in seventy nine. But that's all right. It
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: fit all the band equipment in him. One day it broke.
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: You went to get him. He wanted his girls in
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: the band to ride backwers. I suggested they called their
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: family or significant others to come get them. He didn't
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: like that. He said they are unit and if they
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: can't go, he was staying with them a car breakdown
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: on the side of the road. Come on, that man
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: can't need these women out here. It's dirty for not
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: taking them because you don't like them. But they hit
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: his too, though they need rise. They got on them
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: long ass flowing Carol Kane dresses. Dresses, Yeah, they wearing
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: earth shoes. They're raggedy, a little bunch of looking girls.
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: But what kind of instruments? Though, Oh, they ain't no
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: real band. And then they got wood flute, xylophones, columbus
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: stuff like here in a steel drum. I want to
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: make the Caribs and the one lady just played the
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: triangles a raggedy ass sound. Or it's a horrible ass
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: group that ain't going nowhere. You want him to focus
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: on being a principal, They're not gonna let his ass
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: be no damn principle. Now he's been recommended for it,
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: but anybody that wants the black Hippy to be a
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: principal because you at the inner city school and nobody
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: wants the damn job, So they was gonna give it
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: to him. Let's do a couple of black cover songs.
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: Give me a song right quickly, because he's Roscoe Wallace.
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: Just give me a cover songs that the vand rass.
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: Never too much, Yeah, never too much. I'll say this
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: too much the whole melody. Who dude, you go to
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: work hustle for no the dollar? I'd rather be with you?
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: Did you make my harsh scream man hallo? Never too much?
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: Never too much? Well, y'all like that? Yes? Post your
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: comments on today's Strawberry Letters. No, nobody won't. No money, Yeah,
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: say money. Post your comments on Today's Strawberry Letter at
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: Steve Harvey, f them on Instagram and Facebook, and check
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: out the Strawberry Letter podcasts on demand now coming up
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: in forty six minutes after the hour keeps singing Sports
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: Talk with Junior. Right after this, you're listening to the

- 1:07:01Speaker 1: I need pimping man, I need right on right, it's up, Junior.
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: I'm here helling man. It don't take me long. As
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: soon as I hit my name right here. What's up?
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: What's up? Ladies some chocolate or something. Mississippi? What's going on?
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: You like this right here? Yeah? Just start the football
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: season on ye all that's right here. You know you
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: need you know, you know what? They make them footballs
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: out of pig skin. Yeah, well before they put it
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: through the process. This just a pig jacket with the
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: han on it. Yeah, I got the whole pig jacket on.
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: Come on, man, let's do these picks. I know what's
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: I just want to know how you feel about this.
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: I got a question for you, just about each team.
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: Just let me just answer this for me. Over under
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: nine wins, I'm gonna get your team. You tell me
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: over or under? And why? Okay, all right, here we go.
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: Let's start with the Saints. Over nine wins or under
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: nine wins this season? Under nine? Well, you know what
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: I like. Saints. They're gonna die forgot Jamison then, yeah,
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: they're gonna win over night. Okay, over that, Okay, that's
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: I don't want to message week. Yeah, christ, everybody in
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: Dallas want to know this. Cowboys over nine win, under
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: nine wins, well, they ain't going into the playoffs. Don't
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: don't what the wins gonna be. But they don't make
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: it again. I like the Cowboys with them. Sorry, yeah,
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: they ain't gonna do that, okay. Russell Wilson in Denver Broncos,
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: we heat that that. Over nine wins, it's gonna be
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: tough over nine though. Oh yeah, let's go respect. Okay, Yeah,
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: here we go. Jalen Hurst coming third season star Quarterbacks
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: over nine. Mantle of a team in Philly, boy all
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: Texans over nine winner, might not get six. Okay, I
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: get it out. I mean, didn't let me get it out.
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: Come on with the rest elbum Patriots over nine win
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: under oh, they gonna win over nine. Pippin Cleveland over
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: nine wins. Under nine win when Hill Deshan is out
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: for a lemon damn game line phones are always trying
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: to be righteous. That's what you got out of that.
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: I'll tell you what if they don't win over nine,
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: gonna be some problems in Cleveland. That's all I got.
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: Don't win nine, See what him I was gonna say
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: over pimp and I catch you, man. We're gonna see
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: what happen tomorrow when you pick these picks. All right,
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: thank you, Junior, Thank you. Pempin coming up at the
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: top of the hour. One of our male listeners, Steve,
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: needs help because his fiance wants to put him on
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: an allowance. We'll talk about it right after this. You're
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: listening to show, all right, So Steve, we got a
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: Facebook letter for you. This is from Wade. He says,
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: I wasn't looking for a sugar mama, but it sure
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: seems like I might have found one. My fiance is
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: very well off, but I didn't know that until we've
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: been dating for a while. So that's not the reason
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: I'm with her. Let's get that out of the way
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: right now. Things got weird though once we got engaged.
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: She's now got money on the brain and asking me
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: if I plan to keep working after we're hitched, which
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: I do, and told me her plans to put me
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: on a quote allowance to keep spending in check. Keep
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: in mind that I've never asked her for a dime
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: and have no problem paying my own way when we've
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: gone out, Steve, is what's going on here? What am
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: I getting myself into? Well? I'm not exactly sure because
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: I need to know some more particulars about your age
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: and all like that. Is it an age difference at all?
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: Like this? But in all probability. If she's well off,
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: she's probably gotten well off because she operates well understruction
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: and you may not operate under the same thing instruction.
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: She realizes that, and she's saying, he is an allowance.
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: Allowances are okay, it's called budgets. I actually have an allowance,
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: and Marjorie has an allowance. We just, yeah, we have allowances.
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: We just put it in the form of a paycheck
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: because we're on our own payroll. We work for our company.
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: So that's her money and this is my money, and
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: she's not allowed to go over her Well, excuse me,
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: what was that posts to stay within her damn allowance
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: and her budget? May it depends on what she want
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: to do. So, uh, does she ever go past that
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: number yet? Yes, she does about it. Yes we did. Now,
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: I don't know very rarely. I've gone past that number
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: maybe four times. Okay, I stay within the budget because
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: I got a cover from when she go out to
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: damn But I ain't thought about nothing. It don't make
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: no damn sense, man. But yeah, man, So it could
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: be just that bro that she operates understructure and she
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: wants to make sure that we stay structured, and so
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: the allowance keeps the spending within and as long as
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: you all are happy together and live a life, everybody
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: should be on some type of vall some type of budget,
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: and allowances are within the budget. So I don't think
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: there's nothing to worry about. If you in love, would
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: you say it wasn't about the money, then white dun ben,
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: then don't let it be about the money. But if
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: you want to get some extra, you gotta be able
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: to go in there and say, baby, I was gonna
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: do this just month. You know what if she says no,
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: what if it becomes so controlling, well then you know
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: you set your little broke hands down. So job. Okay,
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: I got all that, But it's supposed to be our away,
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: right and you get married, it becomes hour away, and
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: if you all don't want to do that, then it's
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: gonna be tough. Okay. Yeah, I think that's where the
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: problem comes in. And he was a little upset about
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: hurt doing that. Yeah, I don't. I don't think it's
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: nothing to be you gotta sit out. Why don't you
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: all sit down and have a conversation about what's it about?
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: Instead of just taking it as a directive in the order,
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: sit down the Okay, baby, I'm okay with this, but
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: explain to me your philosophy behind it, because all you
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: gotta do is communicate. She may have a very good reason.
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: It might make sense to you similar to what I
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: just said. All she just said, Look, I don't want
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: you spending all this money I make. Then you got
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: to know that too. So he's going out with the
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: fellas up and didn't she give him how much money
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: he got to spend when he go out with today?
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: He has his own money though, Yeah, those singles. So
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: what you're saying is they need to have a serious conversation. Yeah,
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: before they get married, absolutely about money. Wow, money man?
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, number one cause of the number money or infidelity. Yeah,
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: all right, we gotta move on. More of today's trending
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: stories coming up on the Steve Harvey Morning Show. We'll
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: be back at twenty minutes after the hour. Right after this.

- 1:18:00Speaker 1: start calling you bad. Yes, all right? Would you rather

- 1:18:44Speaker 1: eat but can also be killed? Dog? All right, moving
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: on to would you rather brush your brush your teeth
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: with garlic for a year or would you rather use
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: spicy toilet paper for a week? Spicy meaning hot toilet No,
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: I'm gonna I'm gonna going and brush my teeth this garlic.
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: We let y'all deal with it. I'm not gonna being
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: here suffering about myself if you had that half toilet paper,
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: how it's gonna sign it now? In there? You don't
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: stand I'm actually not even gonna sit on the toilet.
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: I'm sitting in the sinks running this water form. Okay,
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: garlic garlic. It is all coming up and forty that,
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: thank you. That's today's surrounding. Would you rather coming up?
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: Having forty nine minutes after be our last break of
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: the day, and we'll have some closing remarks from the
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: one and only Steve Harvey right after this. You're listening
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: to show? All right, guys, here we are our last
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: break of the day on this Thursday. Yeah, fun morning.
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: Thank you. Thanks every listens to we we love O.
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: Thank you listen. You know, I try to be I
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: try to be um inspirational, I try to be motivational.
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: I try to be entertaining. Today I just gotta be informative.
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: I don't have anything written down, so it may be
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: a little all over the place, but I just wanted
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: to talk about this upcoming election in November. How vitally
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: important it is for us to continue to go to
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: the polls, not just the way we went to the
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: polls in the presidential election, but how important it is
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: for us to get to the polls in November in
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: these mid terms. These mid terms are important. Everybody. See,
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: we messed around and we let Donald Trump become president.
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: What he did was he appointed two Supreme Court justices.
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: Will it tipped the scales? And now guess what they
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: reversed roversus Wade Thompson or Thomas, whatever his name is.
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: The Black Supreme Court justice Clarence Thomas is now talking
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: about revoking all gay rights. He said out loud, that's
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: next for him to reverse all gay rights. Now, listen,
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: I don't have to have the ability to get abortions,
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: or I don't have to be gay to know that
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: people have the right to live their life and make
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: their choices to do and be whatever they want to be.
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: That's a fact. But if we don't get involved in
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: these senate races, these governor races, these people sit in
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: the House and the Senate and they make decisions as
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: senators about what we do. The brilliant thing that the
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: Republican Party has done is they have found a way
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: with the electoral college vote and vote suppression and putting
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: people in the right positions judges and in Supreme Court
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: justice where the minority can actually tell the majority what
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: to do, and they will do anything to control that
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: narrative so much that in Georgia, after we fought so
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: hard to get Warnock and ass Off elected, Warnock is
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: now up for reelection and guess who the Republican Party
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: has chosen to pit against him, herschel Walker. Why would
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: they go get herschel Walker simply because they are masters,
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: are puppet masters at how the system works. They want
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: to split the black vote because they think that we're
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: so ignorant that we only vote for color. And if
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: we see herschel Walker and he played football. They think
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: that we are going somewhere to vote for herschel Walker.
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: Do you know how intelligent we really are, irregardless as
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: of what you try to make us out to be.
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: Do you know we know when somebody's unqualified or unfit?
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: Do you know we know the difference between right and wrong?
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: Do you know we actually care about our future, that
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: we want the best for our child? Do you know
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: that we are sick and tired of fighting for civil rights?
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: That we are sick and tired of battling you hand
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: in hand all the time for human rights. We're tired
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: of asking you to put us in the Constitution referred
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: to us as American citizens, and then dare you to
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: treat us like one? We're sick and tired of it.
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: But for you to go get herschel Walker and put
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: his unqualified, unstrained, non verbal and put him in a
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: position against Warnock? Are you kidding me? And he keeps
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: ducking these dog gone all debates because you know good
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: and well with his lion self. I mean, how many
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: lies can you tell? Oh? You know I was an
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: FBI agent. I'm sorry, I wasn't supposed to tell y'all
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: that wasn't no no, because you weren't. The FBI has
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: issued a statement they have never ever been involved with
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: herschel Walker in any activity. He's claimed to do so
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: many things that he's not He was involved with the
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: police department that turns out not to be true. And
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: now his ex wife is in a commercial talking about
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: how he threatened her life with a gun to her head.
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: Y'all see not commercial I did. This is who you
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: want to run the Senate. But see, the Republicans don't care.
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: They don't care about morality when it comes to power,
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: and they will do anything im moral or corrupt to
- 1:25:35Speaker 1: remain in power. And they then went and got herschel
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: Walker for what. Herschel Walker don't know nothing about politics,
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: but odin excuse me, I'm so sorry. Donald Trump wasn't
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: involved in politics either. They made him president. But if
- 1:25:55Speaker 1: you think that you're gonna come down here to the
- 1:25:57Speaker 1: state of Georgia where we are now representing ourselves in
- 1:26:01Speaker 1: the vote, and you think we're gonna sit here and
- 1:26:04Speaker 1: watch you put herschel Walker in over warning, and you
- 1:26:08Speaker 1: think that herschel Walker is gonna be a senator with
- 1:26:12Speaker 1: his non qualified, lying self, you are sadly mistaken. When
- 1:26:18Speaker 1: we all vote, dot org is the website when we
- 1:26:23Speaker 1: all vote dot org. We are getting prepared, we are
- 1:26:27Speaker 1: getting geared up, and we are going to vote all
- 1:26:30Speaker 1: across this nation. And you're not gonna keep walking your
- 1:26:33Speaker 1: minority thoughts down the majority minds of us. You're just
- 1:26:37Speaker 1: not gonna do it. We sick of you, and we
- 1:26:39Speaker 1: sick of people like herschel Walker. It's not gonna happen.
- 1:26:43Speaker 1: And watch watch what I tell you. We're gonna do
- 1:26:46Speaker 1: everything in our power. Thank y'all for listening to God.
- 1:26:49Speaker 1: Bless you. We see y'all tomorrow. Talk to God He
