- 0:00Speaker 1: Today's show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time y'all
- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know. Y'all have a sun giving them like the
- 0:15Speaker 1: million bucks things in the coves through goodt ha to mother.
- 0:30Speaker 1: Please I don't join Jo. You gotta use that turn
- 1:05Speaker 1: be hurting you are you gotta turn to turn them out.
- 1:42Speaker 1: Turn You have got to turn them out to turn
- 1:46Speaker 1: the water the water go. Come come on your thing now,
- 2:02Speaker 1: I shall will for a good morning. Everybody. You're listening
- 2:06Speaker 1: to the voice, come on dig me now running only.
- 2:08Speaker 1: Steve Harvey got a radio show. Oh man, Steve Harvey
- 2:13Speaker 1: got a radio show because God. Because God is simply amazing,
- 2:17Speaker 1: because God is off the chain, because God is over
- 2:21Speaker 1: the top, because God is all that in a bag
- 2:24Speaker 1: of chips. God is amazing. Man. God will take you
- 2:28Speaker 1: places that you never ever thought you would go. Oh
- 2:32Speaker 1: you know what? It Sometimes it amazes me when I'm
- 2:35Speaker 1: watching all people talk about themselves and their careers and
- 2:39Speaker 1: where they're adding life and things and they and I
- 2:43Speaker 1: hear people say, you know, always dreamed of being him.
- 2:46Speaker 1: You know, I can understand when a person says that
- 2:49Speaker 1: I've always dreamed that of something like this would happen
- 2:53Speaker 1: to me. But I want you to think about that
- 2:55Speaker 1: for a second. Did you really see it just like
- 3:00Speaker 1: that though? Did you really really see it just like that?
- 3:08Speaker 1: Did you really know that God was gonna bring you
- 3:11Speaker 1: through all he bought you through to get you to
- 3:14Speaker 1: this place? Did you know that, in spite of the
- 3:17Speaker 1: losses along the way that would crumble the average person,
- 3:21Speaker 1: that somehow He kept you through it all and that's
- 3:25Speaker 1: how you got here? Did you think of you know?
- 3:29Speaker 1: I mean, you know, you know? I mean, since you're
- 3:31Speaker 1: so busy talking about yourself now, have you forgotten all
- 3:36Speaker 1: the times He was bringing you through when you didn't
- 3:39Speaker 1: see no way that you was gonna get through? Do
- 3:43Speaker 1: you remember that? So when you sit there and you say,
- 3:47Speaker 1: I dreamed of this, this is what I always saw happening,
- 3:51Speaker 1: I don't really think. So, I don't really think. If
- 3:54Speaker 1: you take inventory, or real close inventory of your life
- 3:57Speaker 1: and you look back on it all, stop look at
- 4:00Speaker 1: the moment right now, remember where you come from. See,
- 4:03Speaker 1: that's what gets me emotional sometimes, that's what makes me
- 4:06Speaker 1: tear up because when something is happening to me in
- 4:09Speaker 1: the moment, it ain't the moment for me, it's the
- 4:13Speaker 1: memory of how I got there. It's the recollection of
- 4:18Speaker 1: all the things, all the nights, all the days in
- 4:22Speaker 1: that car, all the times by myself when I felt
- 4:26Speaker 1: like I wasn't gonna make it. But somehow I'm standing
- 4:29Speaker 1: somewhere and somebody passing out an the ward to me
- 4:32Speaker 1: or somebody calling my name, that's that. Did you really
- 4:36Speaker 1: think you was gonna make it? Then? So so so,
- 4:39Speaker 1: since you're talking about this is what I always dreamed of?
- 4:41Speaker 1: Did you really think in those moments right there that
- 4:45Speaker 1: you would even be standing here today? That's why I try.
- 4:48Speaker 1: I try to give people to understand, you know, and
- 4:50Speaker 1: and and and this is kind of for young people
- 4:52Speaker 1: today what I'm about to say. But then guess what
- 4:55Speaker 1: I sometimes I have to remind myself of it. So
- 4:58Speaker 1: I guess it's still kind of for everybod about it,
- 5:00Speaker 1: you know, because I work with a lot of young people,
- 5:03Speaker 1: and so many times, man, young people just don't understand
- 5:09Speaker 1: what all it takes. And I know, and if you're
- 5:12Speaker 1: a full grown adult, if you're forty, you you really
- 5:15Speaker 1: understanding where I'm coming from, because you know it's listen
- 5:21Speaker 1: to me, young people or anybody that don't understand this,
- 5:25Speaker 1: that you got to do some things that you don't
- 5:27Speaker 1: want to do. In order to do what you want
- 5:31Speaker 1: to do, you have to understand this principle of success
- 5:35Speaker 1: or else you are not going to become successful. I
- 5:39Speaker 1: got what you want to do. I got your ultimate goal?
- 5:43Speaker 1: Is this, that, and the other? I got all of that.
- 5:45Speaker 1: But in the meantime, though, there are some necessary steps
- 5:50Speaker 1: that you have to take in order to become successful.
- 5:53Speaker 1: And you cannot skip these steps. You can't jump over
- 5:57Speaker 1: these steps just because you want to be rich Friday,
- 5:59Speaker 1: I got that. I got that. Everybody got that. But
- 6:04Speaker 1: if you want this whatever you're talking about, whether it's
- 6:08Speaker 1: money or success or fame or climbing the corporate letter
- 6:11Speaker 1: or this is the position or you all, that's fine
- 6:15Speaker 1: and then it. Please hold on to your dreams. Dreams
- 6:18Speaker 1: come true. But in the meantime, let me remind you
- 6:23Speaker 1: of something that you gotta do some things you don't
- 6:26Speaker 1: want to do in order to do what you want
- 6:29Speaker 1: to do. Let's say you want to be rich and famous.
- 6:32Speaker 1: Let's just say that's it for you. Let's sit there.
- 6:35Speaker 1: It's a lot of other ways of being successful. Please
- 6:37Speaker 1: don't think that's the only one. But I'm just saying,
- 6:39Speaker 1: let's just say yours is rich and famous, and let's
- 6:42Speaker 1: say some miraculous way God made you rich and famous.
- 6:47Speaker 1: Next Friday, you rich and you famous? Next Friday? Can
- 6:53Speaker 1: I share something with you? This is not going to
- 6:55Speaker 1: last for you. You know why because you have not
- 6:59Speaker 1: done the things it's necessary. You have not done the
- 7:03Speaker 1: things that you have to do in order to do
- 7:07Speaker 1: the things you want. So now you're rich and famous,
- 7:10Speaker 1: how you gonna know how to budget money? How are
- 7:14Speaker 1: you gonna know how to get up and keep clawing
- 7:17Speaker 1: towards the top when you fall off your pedestal. See,
- 7:21Speaker 1: it's so many things you got to know about something,
- 7:24Speaker 1: and you think, because it's what you want right now,
- 7:27Speaker 1: it's supposed to happen just now. It's a process. When
- 7:29Speaker 1: you ask God for something, Please know, God know the process.
- 7:34Speaker 1: He knows the necessary steps to take you through. Don't
- 7:37Speaker 1: lose your patience with God because your dreams ain't coming
- 7:40Speaker 1: true right now? Man? You know you know I think
- 7:46Speaker 1: the best way y'all is for me. I just use
- 7:48Speaker 1: myself as an example. I really do understand why God
- 7:51Speaker 1: has given me the life he's giving me so far.
- 7:54Speaker 1: I understand to being homeless part. Now I get the
- 7:57Speaker 1: not being successful when I want it. Two part, Now
- 8:01Speaker 1: I get it. I got the delayed entry into the
- 8:04Speaker 1: field of choice for myself. I got it now. I've
- 8:07Speaker 1: been wanting to be on TV and a little comedian
- 8:09Speaker 1: since I was nine years old. But guess what, I
- 8:12Speaker 1: didn't get there until I was twenty eight. But see
- 8:15Speaker 1: I didn't get it then I was mad at God.
- 8:18Speaker 1: You know what I won't I send them here here
- 8:20Speaker 1: I got exactly what you want. But I got this process.
- 8:23Speaker 1: I want you to go through to get here too,
- 8:25Speaker 1: because see I'm fit to take you somewhere. You don't
- 8:27Speaker 1: know nothing, but one day you're gonna have a radio
- 8:29Speaker 1: show with You're a little stupid behind. You don't know
- 8:31Speaker 1: this yet. I'm gonna bless you with a radio show.
- 8:34Speaker 1: You don't even know it. That's why I said, every
- 8:36Speaker 1: more than Steven Harvey got a radio show, because see
- 8:39Speaker 1: I didn't. I didn't see this one coming. But see
- 8:41Speaker 1: God had a plan for me. It was in the
- 8:43Speaker 1: blueprint of my life. So God said, what I'm gonna
- 8:45Speaker 1: do is I'm gonna make your life a little rough
- 8:47Speaker 1: for you. I'm gonna toss you up a little bit
- 8:51Speaker 1: I'm I'm gonna let you make some of these stupid
- 8:53Speaker 1: decisions you wanna make it. I'm gonna make you learn
- 8:55Speaker 1: from them. I'm I'm gonna let you be homeless for
- 8:59Speaker 1: a little while. I'm gonna let you not get into
- 9:01Speaker 1: your field of choice until you're twenty eight. I'm gonna
- 9:05Speaker 1: have people talking about if we had only seen him
- 9:06Speaker 1: when he was younger. I ain't gonna let you get
- 9:08Speaker 1: your first can your name till your thirty eight. I'm
- 9:11Speaker 1: gonna make you go through some things because one day
- 9:14Speaker 1: I'm gonna put a microphone in front of your mouth,
- 9:16Speaker 1: and I want you to honor me. I want you
- 9:19Speaker 1: to talk about me. I want you to tell people
- 9:21Speaker 1: what I bought you through. I want you to give
- 9:23Speaker 1: people inspirational moments where they can see that your life
- 9:27Speaker 1: was jacked up for a minute and I turned your
- 9:29Speaker 1: life around for you. That's God dealing with me. See.
- 9:33Speaker 1: So now I finally understand why I went through the
- 9:36Speaker 1: life I went through, so I can have something to say. See,
- 9:40Speaker 1: I ain't over here telling you about what I think
- 9:42Speaker 1: a happened. I'm telling you what I know can happen.
- 9:45Speaker 1: That God does make dreams come true. But sometime it
- 9:48Speaker 1: take a minute. Sometimes you're gonna have to do some
- 9:51Speaker 1: things you don't want to do in order to do
- 9:53Speaker 1: what you want to do. All right, all that you,
- 9:56Speaker 1: I'm gonna be tripping a day. You're listening Steve Morning Show.

- 10:57Speaker 1: We're bringing out water, we're bringing out vote away chairs,
- 11:00Speaker 1: all of that coffee, we're wearing our mask and we're voting.
- 11:05Speaker 1: Don't come down here with that if we're not having it.
- 11:09Speaker 1: We're voting, and we expect a police department. We express
- 11:14Speaker 1: expect all first responders. We expect all American citizens to

- 11:52Speaker 1: one ain't hundred, we got this, call us you go vote. Yeah.
- 12:01Speaker 1: But they tried to do to voters and for Fort
- 12:03Speaker 1: Worth with the police escort. They bought them Trump chucks
- 12:07Speaker 1: throughout through there, and then brothers just said, no, you
- 12:09Speaker 1: ain't coming down and here this ourthhood. You go the
- 12:11Speaker 1: other way, go that way. You ain't coming downhill and
- 12:17Speaker 1: man coming down here intimidating nobody. Man, you're not getting

- 12:48Speaker 1: You man, Today is a day. Today is the day
- 12:52Speaker 1: where we stand up. And since you don't think black
- 12:54Speaker 1: lives matter, we're fit to show you something today. Let
- 12:57Speaker 1: me ask I think the matter? Would police? I think
- 13:01Speaker 1: they do? Why would police escort them down to the hood,
- 13:05Speaker 1: like unless they had gotten a parade permit of some kind.
- 13:12Speaker 1: But then you never know. Sometimes it's just, hey, the
- 13:16Speaker 1: boys in Blue half gotten behind Trump almost all of
- 13:20Speaker 1: the Captain's unions, so you never know. Whatever the reason,
- 13:25Speaker 1: we don't give a damn. We're not breaking no laws
- 13:28Speaker 1: down here. We vote, all right, we don't give a damn.
- 13:32Speaker 1: We're not breaking laws. Were vote. We're riding with Biden
- 13:36Speaker 1: and Harris. Please get out and vote today. Right now,
- 13:38Speaker 1: we're gonna switch gears. It's time for Ask the CLO.
- 13:41Speaker 1: That's coming up at thirty two minutes after. Right after this,
- 13:44Speaker 1: you're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, today's
- 13:49Speaker 1: election day coming up at the top of the hour,
- 13:51Speaker 1: Senator Kamala Harris will be our very special guests. Yes,
- 13:55Speaker 1: we're excited about it. We're excited about that. We are
- 13:58Speaker 1: riding with Biden and Harris. Please get out and vote.
- 14:02Speaker 1: We're gonna switch gears here now because it is time
- 14:04Speaker 1: to ask the CLO. Life still goes on. I guess
- 14:09Speaker 1: and the Chief Love Officer, Steve Harvey is here. Yes
- 14:12Speaker 1: he is the Cloe. Yes, all right. This one is
- 14:15Speaker 1: from Kelsey in Las Vegas. Kelsey says, I'm a twenty
- 14:18Speaker 1: seven year old married woman with a big secret. I've
- 14:22Speaker 1: been taking pole dancing classes instead of going to the gym,
- 14:26Speaker 1: and my husband doesn't know. We had a showcase at
- 14:30Speaker 1: a local strip club and fifty people were invited. It
- 14:33Speaker 1: was a way for us to show what we've learned. Now,
- 14:36Speaker 1: videos of the show have popped up on social media.
- 14:39Speaker 1: And I'm afraid my husband is going to see it.
- 14:43Speaker 1: I was going to surprise him with a private dance
- 14:45Speaker 1: for his birthday, but he's going to be furious if
- 14:49Speaker 1: he sees me dancing for other random men. What can
- 14:52Speaker 1: I do to get ahead of this before it's a
- 14:55Speaker 1: big problem? Okay, let me ask you a question. First
- 14:58Speaker 1: of all, why would you let anybody tell you that
- 15:02Speaker 1: we're gonna go down to a strip club to showcase
- 15:05Speaker 1: in front of fifty other men and you married? Why
- 15:08Speaker 1: would you do that? That don't make no dog one
- 15:12Speaker 1: sense at all. Now, how can you get ahead of it?
- 15:15Speaker 1: You can get a copy of the video and you
- 15:17Speaker 1: can show your husband. He gonna be mad, though. Yeah.
- 15:22Speaker 1: All of what you can do is ignore it. Hope
- 15:27Speaker 1: the video never surfaces unless some years go by. What
- 15:31Speaker 1: you ain't gonna happen because somebody gonna see it somewhere
- 15:35Speaker 1: that knows. Somebody didn't know you. So I can't tell
- 15:39Speaker 1: you how to get ahead of this. The only thing
- 15:41Speaker 1: you could do is going there and tell him what
- 15:43Speaker 1: you did. And you didn't know it was being videotaped,
- 15:46Speaker 1: and you did it as a surprise. That's your only chance.
- 15:50Speaker 1: And you know and women, y'all always tell about Just
- 15:53Speaker 1: tell us the truth. Okay, going in there and tell
- 15:55Speaker 1: him the truth. But watch how this work. Watch watch
- 15:58Speaker 1: how this truth worked for you? To watch how now?
- 16:02Speaker 1: Now all y'all doubting the truth, now watch how this
- 16:05Speaker 1: truth work. Now. But see if your ass wasn't up
- 16:08Speaker 1: on that pole, if you hadn't went to the poles
- 16:11Speaker 1: instead of got up on poles. Something right here, because
- 16:16Speaker 1: today is go to the polls, not get up on
- 16:19Speaker 1: the pole of all right, Miracle, Yeah, this is from
- 16:27Speaker 1: Miracle in Newark, New Jersey. She says, I'm thirty seven
- 16:30Speaker 1: and I'm dating a forty four year old man that
- 16:32Speaker 1: lives in my building. He's newly divorced, and I'm his
- 16:35Speaker 1: first real girlfriend. So it's like he's forty four, she's
- 16:40Speaker 1: thirty seven, so she's his first real girlfriend. So it's
- 16:43Speaker 1: like she has to teach him how to be a boyfriend.
- 16:46Speaker 1: He can't seem to understand that it's not okay for
- 16:49Speaker 1: his ex wife to visit him and bring him his
- 16:51Speaker 1: favorite dish when she cooks. He said that even though
- 16:55Speaker 1: their marriage didn't work, they're still good friends. I think
- 16:58Speaker 1: she's lonely and baiting him. For sex. He said he'd
- 17:01Speaker 1: never ever have sex with her again. Should I trust
- 17:04Speaker 1: my boyfriend and let it go, or should I give
- 17:06Speaker 1: him an ultimatum about his ex wife? Wow? Well, I
- 17:10Speaker 1: you know, look, I don't know how this works. I
- 17:12Speaker 1: ain't never had that, ain't none of my exes never
- 17:15Speaker 1: came by me and damn thing self hell in grief.
- 17:18Speaker 1: So I had them play to hell and a bowl
- 17:21Speaker 1: of grief out have had all that. I had a
- 17:24Speaker 1: platter of ass. I've had all that with folk, but
- 17:27Speaker 1: I've never had them bring me my favorite damn dish
- 17:31Speaker 1: and try to talk about we them, damn friend. We're
- 17:33Speaker 1: not friends. I'm just to be clear about that. We're
- 17:36Speaker 1: not friends. We're not friend, We're not cool. I don't
- 17:39Speaker 1: get damned by sake of the kids, none of that.
- 17:43Speaker 1: So I don't have nothing for you on this ladder
- 17:46Speaker 1: right here. I don't know what to tell you. All
- 17:49Speaker 1: I can tell what's her name, Sherley. Her name is miracle.
- 17:53Speaker 1: Well see miracle called Ryan with Paul. And if you
- 17:57Speaker 1: take your ass down here to the poll and vote
- 18:00Speaker 1: and that be, let that be your miracle. Because you
- 18:02Speaker 1: don't know what's happening with this man and his ant wife.
- 18:05Speaker 1: But the miracle is you need to go to the polls.
- 18:08Speaker 1: That's what we need to do. A great advice. I
- 18:12Speaker 1: love it. Man, If you're gonna love this wight, I'm
- 18:16Speaker 1: ready for. This is from Big Daddy in Burningham, Alabama.
- 18:21Speaker 1: Big Daddy is a fifty eight year old bachelor. He's
- 18:23Speaker 1: looking for a woman to spend his retirement years with.
- 18:26Speaker 1: He was in a long term relationship with a younger woman,
- 18:29Speaker 1: and she took all of my money, he says, but
- 18:32Speaker 1: didn't want to give me any loving. I'm a big
- 18:34Speaker 1: guy and I love to cook and socialize. As I
- 18:37Speaker 1: gained a little weight, my woman started pulling away from
- 18:40Speaker 1: me more and more. I wanted to be with her forever,
- 18:43Speaker 1: but she is not willing to stick around to help
- 18:45Speaker 1: motivate me to lose weight. Everything below still works fine.
- 18:50Speaker 1: So how can I get a woman to see past
- 18:52Speaker 1: my belly and into my heart? Well, bro, man, oh
- 18:57Speaker 1: my ass, that's out of the relationships now, Big Daddy. No, no, hell, no,
- 19:06Speaker 1: nice hand's name, Big Daddy. But now you set up
- 19:09Speaker 1: in here now you want somebody to see past your
- 19:11Speaker 1: stomach when you can't see now? What we gotta be
- 19:15Speaker 1: real now, y'all always talking about Steve. You can't fat
- 19:18Speaker 1: shame but dog when we get up in age, man,
- 19:21Speaker 1: we got to start watching ourselves. You can't do this, man,
- 19:26Speaker 1: Come on, bro, Ain't nobody fitting to see all the
- 19:28Speaker 1: beauty in you? When all they can see is all
- 19:31Speaker 1: the stomach that's in that shirt? All them buttons spread wide,
- 19:35Speaker 1: open their little holes into your shirt? Where you' here?
- 19:38Speaker 1: You stretch? What? Surely? But fee? Hello? Okay, Now he
- 19:42Speaker 1: loves to cook. Remember there, he eat cooks and chefs.
- 19:48Speaker 1: He loves to eat. This problem he's putting all that
- 19:55Speaker 1: damn food in his mouth. It's when he gets through cooking, yeah,
- 19:59Speaker 1: cooking everything. He cook his ass off to the point
- 20:05Speaker 1: where they're calling him big Daddy. That's somebody in there.
- 20:08Speaker 1: And now you're talking about Oh, then you know the
- 20:12Speaker 1: last one pulled away from you. She was trying to
- 20:15Speaker 1: not pull away from you. Was get out under you.
- 20:18Speaker 1: That's what the problem was, dof. That's the difference between
- 20:20Speaker 1: pull away from you and trying to stay from I'm
- 20:23Speaker 1: under you now, big Daddy. Listen, man, we're glad to
- 20:27Speaker 1: make some changes. You can still enjoy cooking, and you
- 20:31Speaker 1: can still enjoy eating, but it's got to be done. Sensibly,
- 20:34Speaker 1: we're gonna have to lose some weight. Dog. Sorry, bro,
- 20:37Speaker 1: I know you want somebody to go with you, but
- 20:39Speaker 1: we gotta lose some weight. Part coming up next, nephew,
- 20:41Speaker 1: Timmy's run that prank back. Right after this, you're listening
- 20:46Speaker 1: Morning Show. Today's election day, to time to implement your
- 20:51Speaker 1: voting plan and to get to those old people. Coming
- 20:54Speaker 1: up at the top of the hour, center to Kamala
- 20:56Speaker 1: Harris will be our special guests, Yes, she will. Right here.
- 20:59Speaker 1: We're riding with Biden and Harrison the Sea Harvey Morning Show.
- 21:02Speaker 1: You know that. But first it is time to have
- 21:05Speaker 1: a little fun with a nephew and run that prank back.
- 21:07Speaker 1: What you got for us, nev Chick. That's a minute.
- 21:11Speaker 1: Let's go catal check. Thank you. Hello, right, I'm trying
- 21:16Speaker 1: to reach out place. How you doing. It's attorney over
- 21:21Speaker 1: the associates. All right, I want to give you a call.
- 21:24Speaker 1: I just got your file that hit my desk and
- 21:26Speaker 1: we got a check going out to you on Monday.
- 21:28Speaker 1: You came in yesterday, correct, Yes, okay, listen, we got
- 21:32Speaker 1: a few low glitches here. We want to grow over
- 21:35Speaker 1: with I want to go over with you and make
- 21:36Speaker 1: sure we get this all ironed out before you come
- 21:39Speaker 1: in on Monday, and I'll have a check definitely waiting
- 21:42Speaker 1: on you when you get here. All right, you're supposed
- 21:44Speaker 1: to be getting six thousand, four hundred and ten dollars,
- 21:48Speaker 1: Unfortunately as being reduced to twelve hundred due to injuries
- 21:53Speaker 1: not being as as bad as they say it was,
- 21:56Speaker 1: a lot of calculations got really mixed up on our
- 21:58Speaker 1: paperwork here. And please keep in mind that on the
- 22:00Speaker 1: twelve hundred, we still haven't taken out our fee, which
- 22:03Speaker 1: is like about thirty three and a third. We'll have
- 22:05Speaker 1: a check for you on Monday in the ballpark of
- 22:07Speaker 1: four to five hundred dollars. Hold hold up, okay, I'm
- 22:11Speaker 1: still like getting it. So what was the total mount
- 22:14Speaker 1: that y'all got from the law from them should Evidently
- 22:18Speaker 1: the person that did these calculations completely did them wrong.
- 22:22Speaker 1: And I do apologize for this being a mishap on
- 22:25Speaker 1: our part and it's totally screwed up. And I do
- 22:28Speaker 1: apologize on the behalf of the of the association here
- 22:31Speaker 1: that we've dropped the ball on that. But your actual
- 22:34Speaker 1: check has been reduced to twelve hundred dollars, okay, and
- 22:38Speaker 1: that's without us taking the law fees out of it.
- 22:40Speaker 1: So I I just it's right, because how was six
- 22:45Speaker 1: thousand dollars cover the doctor field and the chile practice. Well,
- 22:49Speaker 1: from my understanding, man, what they're also stating is that
- 22:51Speaker 1: your injuries are not that bad. And I don't want
- 22:54Speaker 1: to be the bearer of bad news. They're actually wondering
- 22:57Speaker 1: if you were actually hurt at all. So actually her
- 23:00Speaker 1: because I even had to get injections, okay from the chiropractice. Okay,
- 23:04Speaker 1: And and do you have any I have some medical
- 23:06Speaker 1: documents here, and I understand that you've been going and
- 23:09Speaker 1: you probably look like you went over at least at
- 23:11Speaker 1: least two months going to the doctor and getting and
- 23:14Speaker 1: getting therapy. And that was his call, that the chiropractice
- 23:19Speaker 1: car that wasn't my decision. Okay. Well, a lot of
- 23:21Speaker 1: this call from out from my injury exactly, and a
- 23:24Speaker 1: lot a lot of these doctor fees and that you've
- 23:27Speaker 1: gone to as eating up eating up a lot of
- 23:29Speaker 1: these funds. And I tell you, these doctor bills they
- 23:31Speaker 1: get pretty high out there. I do want to apologize
- 23:34Speaker 1: what we're gonna do here since we've dropped the ball
- 23:37Speaker 1: on this. We're gonna give you the check for twelve
- 23:39Speaker 1: hundred and not even take the law fees out of it,
- 23:41Speaker 1: and I'll have that check waiting on you on Monday morning.
- 23:44Speaker 1: That's still okay. I understand what you're saying. What I'm
- 23:47Speaker 1: trying to figure out is from the I need to
- 23:51Speaker 1: see some paperwork of saying stating what was told them
- 23:55Speaker 1: out check that was written from the insurance company, plus
- 23:59Speaker 1: what was a portion of it supposed to be taking
- 24:01Speaker 1: out for the chiropractor, plus supportion that was supposed to
- 24:03Speaker 1: be taking out from the doctor's itself. My mouth that
- 24:06Speaker 1: you're telling me six thousand that smart wouldn't have covered
- 24:09Speaker 1: that and leave me with only twelve hundred. Okay, I'm
- 24:12Speaker 1: not at liberty to let you look at this paperwork anymore.
- 24:16Speaker 1: I'm calling you basically to let you know I have
- 24:18Speaker 1: twelve hundred dollars check for you. If you don't want that,
- 24:21Speaker 1: then you can go ahead and take some other ligat.
- 24:24Speaker 1: I mean that doesn't sound of right who I mean
- 24:27Speaker 1: from the entire month, Because I got the paperwork from
- 24:30Speaker 1: the chiropractor stating where Monte was paid. I understand that, man,
- 24:34Speaker 1: I'm what I'm trying to let you nomine issues there.
- 24:36Speaker 1: What's going on right now is the response coming back
- 24:39Speaker 1: is that you're not actually hurt at all. That's what
- 24:42Speaker 1: they're saying. They're saying you're not hate at all. Actually,
- 24:45Speaker 1: I don't want to use the words, but they're saying
- 24:47Speaker 1: that you've been faking this the whole time. I need
- 24:49Speaker 1: to see some paperwork with FOTA to check it. It
- 24:52Speaker 1: doesn't sound right and that doesn't make any sense. Well,
- 24:55Speaker 1: right now, you know, I'm the last person that that
- 24:57Speaker 1: this file is going to come across. It's coming across
- 24:59Speaker 1: my This is pretty much a take it or leave
- 25:01Speaker 1: it option, you know. And if you don't, no, no, no,
- 25:06Speaker 1: I mean you don't have to get add to me
- 25:07Speaker 1: because you are my lawyer. Now I'm you're a client. Well,
- 25:10Speaker 1: you're not gonna raise your voice. You're not gonna raise
- 25:12Speaker 1: your voice. Set me. That's not gonna happen either. So
- 25:15Speaker 1: let's let's pipe it down a bit. Okay, Now here's
- 25:19Speaker 1: what we're gonna do. Do you want the twelve hundred
- 25:22Speaker 1: dollar check or do you not want it? Now I've
- 25:24Speaker 1: already wavered the fees of the of the attorneys here.
- 25:27Speaker 1: Do you want the twelve hundred or do you want
- 25:29Speaker 1: me to reduce it to four hundred. No, I don't
- 25:31Speaker 1: want twelve hunds because I'm gonna take you to court
- 25:33Speaker 1: because that is the term off you me and he's
- 25:35Speaker 1: supposed to be my lawyer. I'm being the best attorney
- 25:38Speaker 1: that you probably could afford, young lady. Okay, and I'm
- 25:41Speaker 1: trying to do the best I can to help you.
- 25:43Speaker 1: Now you if I from what I understand is y,
- 25:46Speaker 1: I'm sorry, that's not going to be acceptable. I just
- 25:49Speaker 1: have to get to get a lawyer to see you.
- 25:50Speaker 1: That's not acceptable. You know, you know you people continue
- 25:54Speaker 1: to want to tell me to offer Yesterday when we
- 25:56Speaker 1: came in at me, I didn't. I wasn't there doing
- 26:00Speaker 1: the meeting yesterday. Like I said, these papers just landed
- 26:03Speaker 1: on my desk today. What I'm not going to tolerate
- 26:06Speaker 1: is you people consistently wanting to file a lawsuit on somebody.
- 26:10Speaker 1: Now you want to file a lawsuit on me. You
- 26:13Speaker 1: know you're going way too far with this. This isn't
- 26:16Speaker 1: time I want to talk to I've never Okay, well,
- 26:22Speaker 1: now you've heard of me. I'm and I work here
- 26:25Speaker 1: as well, and I'm not gonna stand you, uh, dismantling
- 26:29Speaker 1: me the way that you're doing. I just have to
- 26:32Speaker 1: get a lawyer to see you. That's not accessible. I
- 26:34Speaker 1: got one more thing. This is Nephew Timing from Steve
- 26:37Speaker 1: Harvey Martin Show. You just got pracked. You got pracked
- 26:41Speaker 1: by your husband. Oh, your hum told me she's been
- 26:50Speaker 1: waiting on that check. Yeah, I was about to go
- 26:54Speaker 1: by the little office. All right, baby, let me ask
- 26:59Speaker 1: you tell Timmy what is the baddest radio show in
- 27:03Speaker 1: the land? Baby? Look here, get your check? Give it Timmy?
- 27:15Speaker 1: If it Timmy, huh, you got it? Can I hang
- 27:22Speaker 1: your pranks? King? Your pranks King? That's all that you understands?
- 27:31Speaker 1: He needs more. I'm gonna tell you sometimes I would
- 27:35Speaker 1: ride around and pull pranks out of people. Car if
- 27:37Speaker 1: it ain't you, that's how good he is. Man, I'll
- 27:40Speaker 1: talk about you best. Don't they Ain't nobody be doing this.
- 27:43Speaker 1: If you think about pranking, stop, that's all we're saying.
- 27:48Speaker 1: That's if you thought about started prank, quit, We already
- 27:51Speaker 1: got it. You don't need no help, man, Thank you
- 27:54Speaker 1: appreciate that. Let me jump right down here. Wait, that
- 27:58Speaker 1: was better than King of Pranks, King of Pranks, King
- 28:00Speaker 1: of Pranks. Yeah, yeah, longer and louder. Yeah, it was
- 28:06Speaker 1: louder stupid. It's about to grab the mic once to again.
- 28:13Speaker 1: Thirteen fourteen, fifteenth of November. The nephew is gonna grab
- 28:17Speaker 1: the microphone. Uptown Comedy Corner, Atlanta, GA, November thirteenth, fourteen fifteen,
- 28:23Speaker 1: COVID nineteen limited seats. But dog go on it. I'm
- 28:27Speaker 1: finn to grab it, because don't. I'll be there thirteen
- 28:31Speaker 1: fourteen and coming to who Friday two Saturday one seen
- 28:36Speaker 1: after Mike, I'm grabbing it. We'll come on teen. Steve
- 28:40Speaker 1: Harvey shocks him and shows up coming up at the
- 28:47Speaker 1: top of the hour. Senator Kamala Harris our special guest
- 28:50Speaker 1: on this election day. Go vote right after this. You're
- 28:53Speaker 1: listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. Hey, everybody asked promise. Our
- 28:59Speaker 1: special guests today is uh California State Senator from Oakland, California.
- 29:05Speaker 1: She's a graduate of Howard University. She's also from a
- 29:10Speaker 1: graduate of Hastings School of Law and a member of
- 29:13Speaker 1: Almighty Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated. But more importantly than
- 29:18Speaker 1: all of that, she is our Democratic Vice presidential nominee,
- 29:23Speaker 1: and today, everybody is the day we are in it.
- 29:27Speaker 1: This is election date. So I've invited her to the
- 29:30Speaker 1: show to highlight the Biden Harris planning to tell us
- 29:34Speaker 1: about voter suppression and how to avoid it at the
- 29:37Speaker 1: post today. So let's get to it. Ladies and gentlemen,
- 29:40Speaker 1: please welcome to the show. God willing our future vice president.
- 29:45Speaker 1: But right now the VP nominee, Senator Kamala Harris. Hey, Senator, Uh,
- 29:58Speaker 1: we love you, We applaud you. First of all, congratulations
- 30:03Speaker 1: on just a a record breaking, ground setting accomplishment to
- 30:09Speaker 1: be the first African American ever and female on the
- 30:14Speaker 1: ticket as a vice presidential candidate. Congratulations, thank you, thank you,
- 30:19Speaker 1: thank you. So I stand on very broad shoulders of
- 30:21Speaker 1: all those who came before. I've been thinking a lot
- 30:25Speaker 1: of you know Sairleyism and Barbara Jordan and so many others. Yeah,
- 30:31Speaker 1: what can we expect at the polls today and what
- 30:34Speaker 1: should our voters look out for? I'm so glad you
- 30:37Speaker 1: raised that. You know. First of all, I think it's
- 30:40Speaker 1: important to remember. I think there's three reasons to vote.
- 30:44Speaker 1: One is Kahana the ancestors, right, we lost this year
- 30:48Speaker 1: John Lewis, Congressman John Lewis, who shed his blood on
- 30:52Speaker 1: the Edmund Pettis Bridge for our rights to vote. And
- 30:55Speaker 1: so that's that's part of why we must vote. We
- 30:58Speaker 1: must vote also because everything is at sake. So we're
- 31:03Speaker 1: in the midst of this virus that has killed over
- 31:06Speaker 1: two hundred and twenty five million, I mean a thousand Americans,
- 31:10Speaker 1: but we're also looking at obviously disproportionate outcomes for African
- 31:14Speaker 1: Americans when black books that three times as likely to
- 31:17Speaker 1: contracts the virus and twice as likely to die from
- 31:20Speaker 1: it were And then you have on the one hand
- 31:23Speaker 1: of Joe Biden who says, let's expand Obamacare, which he
- 31:26Speaker 1: and President Obama created and will protect you know, your
- 31:30Speaker 1: listeners who have pre existing conditions like diabetes and high
- 31:33Speaker 1: blood pressure. On the other hand, Donald Trump's trying to
- 31:35Speaker 1: get rid of it. So everything is at sake. So
- 31:38Speaker 1: it's it's the ancestors and honoring them. It's what's the stake.
- 31:41Speaker 1: But it's also to your point, See, powerful people around
- 31:45Speaker 1: our country forever and including the Selection, have been trying
- 31:48Speaker 1: to make it difficult or confusing for us to vote.
- 31:52Speaker 1: And you have to ask why and I do believe
- 31:54Speaker 1: it's because they know our power. They know when we vote.
- 31:59Speaker 1: They they know when we vote, we went And so
- 32:04Speaker 1: let's not let anyone sideline us or silence us. When
- 32:08Speaker 1: the strongest way we can exercise our voice at election
- 32:12Speaker 1: time is to vote. We can actually be the determining
- 32:16Speaker 1: factor in this whole election. Yes, yes, If the people
- 32:20Speaker 1: who didn't vote in Detroit, in Philly, in Atlanta would
- 32:26Speaker 1: just vote this time, we wouldn't even be in the
- 32:29Speaker 1: position we're in today. I agree with a Stephen. Here's
- 32:32Speaker 1: the other way I think about it. Let's walk in
- 32:35Speaker 1: that White House together. You know what I'm saying. Yeah,
- 32:39Speaker 1: nobody left out, Like let's let's let's all be a
- 32:42Speaker 1: part of that. You know. I agree. Let's talk about this.
- 32:46Speaker 1: Let's talk about the Biden Harris plan for America. So
- 32:49Speaker 1: people understand, because today is d date, we've got to
- 32:52Speaker 1: get to the polls. But what is it about the
- 32:55Speaker 1: bad Biden Harris plan that makes it so different from
- 32:59Speaker 1: the Trump plan? So first of all, we have a
- 33:02Speaker 1: plan that we will implement to get a control of
- 33:04Speaker 1: this virus, and that's going to be about free vaccines.
- 33:08Speaker 1: When we get a vaccine and also distribution of it
- 33:11Speaker 1: taking into account racial disparities. I've been as a leader
- 33:15Speaker 1: on that. In the cenis we're going to deal with
- 33:17Speaker 1: helping small businesses. We have one hundred and fifty billion
- 33:20Speaker 1: dollars that is going to be directed to low interest
- 33:23Speaker 1: loans and access to capital for minority small businesses. You know,
- 33:28Speaker 1: you can go to any mL K Street in America
- 33:30Speaker 1: and you know what I'm talking about. Our small businesses
- 33:33Speaker 1: are the economic lifeblood of our community, and our small
- 33:36Speaker 1: business leaders are artific leaders, they're community leaders. So Joe
- 33:40Speaker 1: and I know if you want to create wealth, which
- 33:42Speaker 1: we want, we don't want to minimum wage ups. We
- 33:45Speaker 1: want to create wealth, we need access to capital and
- 33:48Speaker 1: that's the thing that has not been afforded to so
- 33:51Speaker 1: many of our small businesses. We are going to invest
- 33:54Speaker 1: seventy billion dollars in HBCUs. As you said, I am
- 33:57Speaker 1: a proud graduate of an HPCUS our ABCUS to produce
- 34:02Speaker 1: the leaders in every profession who go on to become
- 34:05Speaker 1: national and international leaders. We are going to put a
- 34:09Speaker 1: fifteen thousand dollars tax credit in place for first time
- 34:12Speaker 1: homeowners because we know that access the wealth also is
- 34:17Speaker 1: about homeownership. So that will help people with downpoint payment
- 34:20Speaker 1: and closing costs. For students who are coming from a
- 34:24Speaker 1: family that makes less than one hundred and twenty five
- 34:26Speaker 1: thousand dollars, they will go to a four year college,
- 34:30Speaker 1: public college, including an HBCU public or private for free. See,
- 34:36Speaker 1: so many folks who go to our HBCUs or even
- 34:40Speaker 1: in any university end up not graduating simply because they
- 34:44Speaker 1: don't have enough money to pay tuitions, not because of
- 34:47Speaker 1: the capacity they have to for greatness. So these are
- 34:50Speaker 1: big issues for our community because when you look at
- 34:53Speaker 1: especially the economic impact of the long standing disparities, it
- 34:58Speaker 1: has everything to do with whether we're going to be
- 35:00Speaker 1: of us, grow our communities or none. And so it's
- 35:03Speaker 1: about all of that. It's about criminal Gusta's reform, including
- 35:06Speaker 1: the criminalization of marijuana and expunging the records of people
- 35:10Speaker 1: who've been convicted for marijuana offenses. It's about ending cash bail,
- 35:14Speaker 1: because people sit in jail for days, weeks just because
- 35:17Speaker 1: they can't afford to get out. And that's an economics
- 35:20Speaker 1: thatsiciue as much as it is a criminal justice issue.
- 35:23Speaker 1: M the policing we're gonna end karated in tokehol George
- 35:27Speaker 1: Floyd would be live today that was the case. Hey,
- 35:30Speaker 1: Senator Harris, hold on right here, We'll be right back.
- 35:34Speaker 1: We gotta take a quick break. We'll be back with
- 35:36Speaker 1: more Senator Kamala Harris right after this. Folks, you're listening,
- 35:43Speaker 1: all right, everybody, We're back, and our special guests this
- 35:46Speaker 1: morning is Senator Kamala Harris, who, by God's grace, we
- 35:51Speaker 1: will be calling madam Vice president after today. That's what
- 35:57Speaker 1: we're pushing for. So let's get back to this. So
- 36:01Speaker 1: there are huge, huge, significant differences between the two choices
- 36:06Speaker 1: that we have in this election today, and we want
- 36:10Speaker 1: to make sure everyone knows that it's within their power
- 36:14Speaker 1: to make the decision about who will be the next
- 36:16Speaker 1: person of the United States. Absolutely, And you know what
- 36:20Speaker 1: what you're getting at and what I've been saying on
- 36:23Speaker 1: this show, the black vote is so crucial to this election.
- 36:29Speaker 1: I mean, look for a lot of reasons. I mean,
- 36:31Speaker 1: but first and foremost, if you are an African American
- 36:35Speaker 1: you think for one moment that Donald Trump is for you,
- 36:38Speaker 1: you have been misinformed and miseducated. You have not done
- 36:42Speaker 1: your homework as to who this guy really is. On
- 36:44Speaker 1: a personal level, a professional level, and a business level.
- 36:48Speaker 1: You can politically, you can hear the statements, you know
- 36:51Speaker 1: for the Proud Boys, there's there's good people on both sides.
- 36:54Speaker 1: Let me just over and over and over without any
- 36:57Speaker 1: shame at all. He's open and blatantly said stuff that's
- 37:01Speaker 1: disparaging for anybody of color. But in this election, what
- 37:06Speaker 1: is your message to African American voters today who have
- 37:10Speaker 1: waited to today. And it's nothing wrong with that, but
- 37:13Speaker 1: what's your message to them? Go get in line and
- 37:16Speaker 1: stay in line and vote like your life depends on it.
- 37:20Speaker 1: And here's the thing. Don't vote because it's just supposed
- 37:24Speaker 1: to vote. Vote because your vote has been earned. And
- 37:26Speaker 1: when you see and so go on website Joe Biden
- 37:29Speaker 1: dot com look at the fact. But there is so
- 37:33Speaker 1: much at stake and so much My message to everybody
- 37:37Speaker 1: is just please don't don't let don't let the people
- 37:41Speaker 1: who are trying to create fear are confusion it. Don't
- 37:45Speaker 1: let them win. We have to stand in line. We
- 37:48Speaker 1: have to. It's one day that can determine the course
- 37:52Speaker 1: of our country for many generations. Wow, they want to
- 37:56Speaker 1: frustrate you with the long lines, with the delay with
- 38:00Speaker 1: the number of polling places, with the number of boosts
- 38:04Speaker 1: in the polling place. I mean, and we just got
- 38:06Speaker 1: to fight through this. Well we do. And again, I mean,
- 38:09Speaker 1: you look at the stakes including for example, you know
- 38:12Speaker 1: how our students are suffering, and so many of them
- 38:15Speaker 1: are entitlement schools, and entitlement schools we're looking at underfundings.
- 38:21Speaker 1: Don't are gonna triple Title one funding. Knowing that we
- 38:26Speaker 1: have to put the resources into our children. They have
- 38:29Speaker 1: so much God given talent, but not the resources going
- 38:33Speaker 1: into their developments. We know that we need to build
- 38:36Speaker 1: up infrastructure around broadband with this COVID. The number of
- 38:40Speaker 1: our children who are learning at home and don't have
- 38:42Speaker 1: access to the internet, don't have access to technology, and
- 38:45Speaker 1: what's that's going to do in terms of real gaps
- 38:48Speaker 1: in terms of their learning? Hey, great, great, great point
- 38:51Speaker 1: right there. Senator Kamala Harris, hang on right quick. We
- 38:54Speaker 1: gotta take a quick break and we'll be right back
- 38:57Speaker 1: with more from Vice presidential candidate. Send the Kamala Harris
- 39:01Speaker 1: you're listening to all right, we're back, everybody with the
- 39:07Speaker 1: Vice president candidate Kamala Harris. Senator Kamala Harris, who hopefully
- 39:13Speaker 1: after today, as I've been saying over and over, we
- 39:16Speaker 1: will be calling madam vice president or what a great,
- 39:20Speaker 1: great accomplishment this has been. So let's get back to it.
- 39:24Speaker 1: Here's the thing. Joe really cares about working people. He
- 39:28Speaker 1: understands struggles the other guy. You know, it looks in
- 39:32Speaker 1: the mirror, and that's this priority. He's concerned about rich people,
- 39:36Speaker 1: which is why they passed that tax bill benefiting the
- 39:39Speaker 1: top one for some big corporations. They'll say, no taxes
- 39:42Speaker 1: will be raised on anybody making lesson four hundred thousand
- 39:45Speaker 1: dollars a year. Yeah, you know that. That statement alone
- 39:48Speaker 1: is what defuntows me about the Republican Party and some
- 39:52Speaker 1: of his supporters. They're going to raise taxes. People in
- 39:55Speaker 1: this country don't make four hundred thousand dollars a year,
- 39:58Speaker 1: but they do. You are so right, you know what,
- 40:02Speaker 1: the people of four hundred thousand dollars, the top one percent,
- 40:05Speaker 1: what are you talking about. He's not talking about raising
- 40:10Speaker 1: taxes for you. Right, This is a big boy problem.
- 40:15Speaker 1: But let me tell you something about big boys. Big boys,
- 40:18Speaker 1: when you raise their taxes. They also passed because of Senate,
- 40:23Speaker 1: they also pass and tax incentives there's ways around us. Man,
- 40:29Speaker 1: rich people gonna always find a way to stay rich. Now,
- 40:33Speaker 1: that's exactly right, That's that's right, And you know what
- 40:36Speaker 1: to speak to your point. Think about all if I've
- 40:40Speaker 1: been thinking about this, COVID viruses in many ways an accelerator.
- 40:43Speaker 1: It has put a microscope on what was bad already
- 40:47Speaker 1: and it's now even worse and everybody's seeing it. Think
- 40:50Speaker 1: about the rich people versus working people. All of a sudden,
- 40:53Speaker 1: more people are now realizing how many workers don't have
- 40:56Speaker 1: paid sickly, even paid family ly. That's wrong, that's right. Right.
- 41:01Speaker 1: Don't saying no, you have to support working people. We're
- 41:04Speaker 1: saying that no family, no working family, will pay more
- 41:07Speaker 1: than seven percent of their income and childcare. Right, these
- 41:10Speaker 1: are the things that working people have to struggle with
- 41:13Speaker 1: every day because the system has been designed in many
- 41:17Speaker 1: ways to really take care of the rich people and
- 41:21Speaker 1: their desires because they have access to power, instead of
- 41:24Speaker 1: putting the power with the people. Yeah, that's a true statement.
- 41:28Speaker 1: Let's talk about this because and then because because I
- 41:31Speaker 1: notice is a busy day for you. The Trump administration,
- 41:34Speaker 1: Donald Trump's failure to really lead this country during this
- 41:38Speaker 1: COVID nineteen pandemic. How do you and President Biden playing
- 41:42Speaker 1: on handling the coronavirus and restore some sort of normalcy too, Well,
- 41:47Speaker 1: first of all, yeah, I couldn't agree with anymore. I've
- 41:50Speaker 1: said many times we have witnessed the greatest failure of
- 41:54Speaker 1: any presidential administration in the history of America. And that's
- 41:58Speaker 1: why it's so bad. Right now. We're looking at over
- 42:00Speaker 1: two hundred and twenty five thousand people who've died in
- 42:04Speaker 1: just the last several months. We're looking at people who
- 42:07Speaker 1: over nine million people who've contracted the virus with unknown
- 42:10Speaker 1: long term telltone suppressors, including things like long scarring. And meanwhile,
- 42:15Speaker 1: he's in court trying to get rid of Obamacare, you know,
- 42:19Speaker 1: because he was just, you know, obsessed with trying to
- 42:21Speaker 1: get rid of anything Barack Obama created. And so what
- 42:25Speaker 1: we need to do, and what Joe and I plan
- 42:26Speaker 1: to do, is implement a plan we already have for
- 42:30Speaker 1: national testing for a distribution of a vaccine when god going,
- 42:35Speaker 1: we get a safe vaccine, but also a national plan
- 42:38Speaker 1: for contact tracings, also getting the ppees, the frontline workers,
- 42:44Speaker 1: and again getting the resource of the small businesses so
- 42:46Speaker 1: they can open back up safely. These are the kinds
- 42:49Speaker 1: of things that we plan to do in a way
- 42:52Speaker 1: that's immediately going to have an impact. But we got
- 42:54Speaker 1: to start with having a president who understands that you
- 42:57Speaker 1: got to wear a mask and that you have to
- 43:02Speaker 1: take truth and be informed by what the public health
- 43:05Speaker 1: experts in the sciences to say instead, who is you
- 43:09Speaker 1: know he suggests this is going to be a miracle.
- 43:14Speaker 1: I mean, we can all pray for a miracle, but
- 43:15Speaker 1: you know, God needs from my hope. You know what
- 43:19Speaker 1: I'm saying. I mean literally, we are the laughing stock
- 43:22Speaker 1: of the world in terms of saying that we're strong,
- 43:24Speaker 1: but we can't control something with leadership that takes responsion.
- 43:28Speaker 1: Do with it absolutely. Listen, Senator Harris, thank you so
- 43:32Speaker 1: much for stopping in today. To anybody that's sitting on
- 43:35Speaker 1: the sidelines, get out and vote standing lines. Hopefully God
- 43:39Speaker 1: willing will see you as the vice president. Congratulations. Thank
- 43:43Speaker 1: you so much for being a great example to so
- 43:46Speaker 1: many women out there. Thank you, Sister Okay God Black, Yes,
- 43:51Speaker 1: I love her vote today. Coming up next the Nephew
- 43:54Speaker 1: Yes with Today's prying phone call. Right after this, you're
- 43:58Speaker 1: listening Today Morning Show, Coming up at the top of
- 44:03Speaker 1: the hour, right about four minutes after. It's my strawberry
- 44:06Speaker 1: letter for today. The subject is the pastor's son isn't

- 53:59Speaker 1: But hold on tight. We got it for you here.
- 54:01Speaker 1: It is subject the Pastor's son isn't very holy. Just
- 54:06Speaker 1: Stephen Shirley. My life is a mess, and it all
- 54:09Speaker 1: started a year ago when I moved in with my
- 54:11Speaker 1: aunt to help her after she broke her leg. I
- 54:14Speaker 1: was running errands for her one day and I met
- 54:17Speaker 1: a man at the grocery store and we started talking
- 54:20Speaker 1: and he was flirting up a storm, so I gave
- 54:22Speaker 1: him my phone number. We started off talking a lot,
- 54:26Speaker 1: and it helped me get through the rough days as
- 54:28Speaker 1: a caretaker for my aunt. We quickly went from being
- 54:31Speaker 1: casual friends to meeting up for sex. He was mysterious
- 54:35Speaker 1: because he lived in an apartment without a lot of furniture,
- 54:38Speaker 1: and he never had any food. He works as a counselor,
- 54:42Speaker 1: but I didn't know where he worked. I was falling
- 54:45Speaker 1: for this guy, but I couldn't tell him because I
- 54:47Speaker 1: didn't want to mess things up. He was perfect in
- 54:51Speaker 1: every way except he had three children, but I was
- 54:54Speaker 1: willing to overlook that if we became a couple. So
- 54:58Speaker 1: here's where things got ugly. My aunt's church reopened, so
- 55:02Speaker 1: I told her i'd take her. She has a new
- 55:05Speaker 1: pastor and wanted to meet him. After church, we met
- 55:08Speaker 1: the pastor and his wife, and the pastor told me
- 55:10Speaker 1: he has a son about my age, an emotion for
- 55:13Speaker 1: him to come over. His son is a guy I've
- 55:16Speaker 1: been sleeping with. He walked over with his wife and
- 55:20Speaker 1: all of his three kids and introduced himself like he
- 55:24Speaker 1: didn't know me, even though we were in maths. He
- 55:27Speaker 1: knew me and I knew him. My aunt could tell
- 55:30Speaker 1: something was wrong with me, and when we walked off,
- 55:33Speaker 1: I told her. She called the church and told the
- 55:35Speaker 1: pastor what his son was up to. And the pastor said,
- 55:38Speaker 1: I enticed his son into an entanglement. Now my aunt
- 55:44Speaker 1: has to find a new church because she cursed pastor
- 55:47Speaker 1: out wiremn wire. Men so evil? How are women supposed
- 55:53Speaker 1: to know when we're getting played? Please advise? Mmmmmm? Why
- 55:58Speaker 1: are men so evil? Let's just start this, Okay, let's
- 56:01Speaker 1: just start there. First of all, men aren't evil. All
- 56:04Speaker 1: men aren't evil all, thank you, Shirley. But a lot
- 56:11Speaker 1: of men you're welcome. But a lot of men will
- 56:13Speaker 1: lie and will cheat to get what they want. Okay,
- 56:17Speaker 1: not all, but a lot of them. And that's that's
- 56:21Speaker 1: what this Mary, That was her question. Yeah, and that
- 56:23Speaker 1: was this. That's what this married men did to you. Okay,
- 56:26Speaker 1: he lied and cheated to get you. That's what he did.
- 56:29Speaker 1: We as women, we say this all the time in
- 56:31Speaker 1: the show. We have to pay attention to the signs.
- 56:34Speaker 1: That is our job. It's time out for us not
- 56:36Speaker 1: noticing these blaring red flags. You go to his house.
- 56:40Speaker 1: There's never any food, not a lot of furniture. He
- 56:43Speaker 1: has three kids. He's all mysterious. You say, miss, what
- 56:48Speaker 1: is he being so mysterious about? You know, that's when
- 56:51Speaker 1: you should have been asking some really probing questions. You
- 56:55Speaker 1: know how to do that? You know, where's the kid's mom?
- 56:57Speaker 1: What kind of relationship do you have with the kid?
- 56:59Speaker 1: Do you have with the kid's mom? Why don't you
- 57:02Speaker 1: have a sofa in here? H do you have any
- 57:05Speaker 1: Why don't you have any towels and stuff in the bathroom? Uh?
- 57:09Speaker 1: You're you're a counselor, you say, what type of counseling?
- 57:12Speaker 1: You know? These are the kinds of questions that you
- 57:14Speaker 1: have to ask him. I know your tuition had to
- 57:17Speaker 1: kick in at some point, but it was too late
- 57:20Speaker 1: by then because you were already emotionally invested in him,
- 57:23Speaker 1: and like you said, you didn't want to mess things
- 57:26Speaker 1: up because you know, if you guys, we were trying
- 57:29Speaker 1: to be a couple. That's what you said. And those
- 57:31Speaker 1: are the ways you get played because you don't. You
- 57:34Speaker 1: ignore the your your gut, what your gut is telling you.
- 57:38Speaker 1: You ignore those red flags, You ignore your your tuition.
- 57:41Speaker 1: And I'm sorry this happened to you, but you gotta
- 57:44Speaker 1: let this be a lesson that um you know you
- 57:47Speaker 1: won't take into your next relationship. The signs are always there,
- 57:50Speaker 1: we just gotta see them. As far as finding a
- 57:54Speaker 1: new church for your aunt, because she cursed out the pastor,
- 57:56Speaker 1: and may I say that was very unpastored like him
- 58:00Speaker 1: of him to say that about you, that you enticed
- 58:02Speaker 1: his son. You know, if she wants to stay there,
- 58:06Speaker 1: stay there, all right, Just stay there and look him
- 58:09Speaker 1: dead in his eye every Sunday. Just you don't have to.
- 58:12Speaker 1: But if she wants to find a new church, it's okay,
- 58:14Speaker 1: it's all right. But you just concentrate on you and
- 58:18Speaker 1: what you need to do, and that's listen to your
- 58:21Speaker 1: gut from here on out. Steve, Well, let me start
- 58:24Speaker 1: at the bottom of the letter. The question is, how
- 58:28Speaker 1: are women supposed to know when we're getting played? Please advise, Well,
- 58:36Speaker 1: Shirley said it to you. And she put it to
- 58:39Speaker 1: you in a very smart way. There are red flags
- 58:43Speaker 1: all through this letter, everywhere you wrote. A woman was
- 58:47Speaker 1: on my show one time and said, women have got
- 58:50Speaker 1: to stop collecting red flags. Leave them stuck in the ground,
- 58:57Speaker 1: quit taking them home, hugging them like they fit to be.
- 59:00Speaker 1: White flags are green flags. They read flags. You met
- 59:05Speaker 1: him man at the grocery store. He was floating up
- 59:07Speaker 1: a storm. You gave him your phone number. This I
- 59:10Speaker 1: already know, y'all kind of old, because they don't do
- 59:15Speaker 1: that no more. They give each other they IG. Yeah,
- 59:19Speaker 1: that I learned that you don't get the seal number.
- 59:23Speaker 1: Here go my IG. You can d M me and
- 59:25Speaker 1: you can find out how I want you to see
- 59:28Speaker 1: me on my highlight reel call Instagram. That's the way.
- 59:31Speaker 1: So y'all, you know, thirties, low forties or something, you know, bam,
- 59:36Speaker 1: something like that. Okay, cool, Okay, now here you go.
- 59:41Speaker 1: That was a red flag right there, dude. So y'all
- 59:46Speaker 1: have started talking a lot, and he was helping you
- 59:48Speaker 1: through the rough days of being a caretaker. You ain't
- 59:51Speaker 1: really a caretaker. Your aunt broke her leg. We quickly
- 59:56Speaker 1: went from being casual friends to meeting up for sex?
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: What kind of quick? Yeah, all right, Steve, coming up.
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: We'll have part two of your response at twenty three
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: minutes after the hour. Subject for today's Strawberry Letter, the
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: pastor's sun isn't very holy. We'll get back into it
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening to show, all right, Come on,
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: let's recap today's Strawberry Letters. Subject the pastor's son isn't
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: very holy, Steve. Well, he's not. But your question is hi?
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: Women supposed to know when we're getting played. It's very simple.
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: Pay attention. Shirley said it best in her response, You
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: just weren't paying attention. Now, let's talk about this. First
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: of all, you went too quick. We quickly went from
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: being casual friends to meeting up for sex. Okay, meeting
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: up for sex not already in the relationship. Ain't off
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: to the best of starts? Left, that's all you want
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: on it? Then? Fine, But doesn't seem like that he
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: was mysterious. Now you meeting up he was mysterious, So
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: you're meeting up for sex with a mysterious first right now?
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: You don't know nothing abouty He mysterious, but y'all meeting
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: up for sex, and he lived in an apartment without
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: a lot of furniture, and he never had any food.
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: He works as a counselor, but I didn't know where
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: it worked. And you was falling for this guy, but
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: I couldn't tell because I didn't want to mess things up.
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: He was perfect in every way except he had three children. Now,
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: let's take this whole block that I just read. If
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: a man has three children and he's divorced or separated,
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: you don't know because he was mysterious. When they come
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: over for visitation, where did they stay? He ain't got
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: no furniture, Ain't no damn beds in there, ain't no
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: food in friederal, ain't no cerealing. Now what the hell
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: is these kids eating? And where do they stay when
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: they come over the mysterious man's apartment and ain't got
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: a lot of furniture. You got three kids, you got
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: to have some bean bags or son you gotta have
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: or miss cozy kitchen set for the little girl? Something
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: he ain't got nothing? Didn't he tell you he works
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: as a counselor what that means? Yeah? That was mysterious, Right,
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: I'm a counselor? What kind of counselor. Oh school, Like yeah, yeah,
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: school counselor was schooled my kids school? Right, It's like,
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: but I didn't know where he worked. Where you work
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: all down at the counselor in office. I was falling
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: for this guy, but I couldn't tell Ellen because I
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: didn't want to mess things up. Wait a minute, mess
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: up what you're having sex with the mysterious man in
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: an empty ass, vacant apodect with no furniture in it.
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: It might it might. He might have just made a
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: key to an abandon apartment and you want to you
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: don't want to mess that up. But I was willing
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: to overlook that if we became a couple. See, this
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: is a man. I can't tell you how many times
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: you're talking about becoming a couple, something that you want,
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: But you've already given away the greatest benefit of being
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: a couple. You've already given the man all the sex
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: he wants, because all y'all do is meet up for sex. Now,
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: why he got to be a couple with you? He
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: getting the sex? Why we got to be a couple? Now?
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: I got you at this abandon apartments, the old crack house,
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: and we were here screwing it. Yeah, it's the same
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: furniture that the crackheads es when they aren't that getting high. No, Papa,
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: you can't go to the bathroom. Hain't nough tolitician. Don't
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: go in that, don't flush that. Oh no, So now
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: this is where things got ugly. Like it ain't bad
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: enough being that in a panda ass apartment. You having
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: sex with this misterious man. Yon's church reopening. You took
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: her after church. You met the pastor and his wife,
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: and the pastor told me he had a son about
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: your age, and he motioned for him to come over.
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: His son is the guy that you've been sleeping with.
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: He walked over with his wife and all three of
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: his kids and introduced himself like he didn't know me.
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: What you supposed what you thought he's supposed to do? Ah,
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: you the girl from the crack house was something? No, kids,
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: I told your head hit the right here. Oh, and
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: I failed to mention my wife. You thought he's gonna
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: say that. Now he acts like he know me, even
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: though we were in mask. He knew me and I
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: knew him. Now your aunt could tell something's wrong. And
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: when y'all walked off, you told him. Now, y'r aunt
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: and called up to the church and told the pastor,
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: but what his son was up to? And the pastor said,
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: I enticed him into an entanglement? Is this a new
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: word entanglement? I heard that a couple of times this year.
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: I don't understand what is entanglement. It's what is entanglement?
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: These used to be a fast but they called entanglements now.
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: So now my aunt got to find a new church
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: because she didn't custom pastor out. Why our man so evil? Evil?
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: He gonna protect his son. I don't care if he
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: is to pass. If my son did this, you entangle him.
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: He's got a wife and a lovely family. I hate
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: to see that broken up. He don't want his grandkids
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: flitting up. The passer tried to protect yourself, and he
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: gonna do that. This is your responsibility to take matters
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: into your own hands, to protect yourself. Now, I apologize
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: for me and being lies and dogs. He did tell
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: you partial truth. He told you he had three kids.
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: He just didn't tell you that he had a wife.
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: And he had found the keys to an old, abandoned
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: crack house, and he had put a piece of furniture
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: there and using it as a chickpad. Now I'm sorry.
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: Thank you. Steve Poster comments on Today's Strubberry Letter and

- 1:07:24Speaker 1: we go. It was the morning of the election, and
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: all through the South we was doing what we needed
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: to do to get the vote out. Dad had the
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: car all filled up with gas. Aunt Jenny had two
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: depends wrapped around her ass, sitting since had a photo.
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: Come on, I'm sorry, Here we go. Dad had the
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: car filled up with gas. Aunt Jenny had two depends
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: wrapped around her ass since had vote in paper tucked
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: in her hand. Uncle Ronnie was making sure he pee
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: because he's an old man. So let's get out to
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: vote on this election day so we can send all
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: the Trumps, Mitch McConnell's, Lindsey Grahams, Joe Collins, John James,
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: Daniel Camerons, and the Republicans who don't care about nobody
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: but themselves well on their way. The end I got
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: them outside, had the car feel over, Dad, and you
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: had two depends. We go my favorite poem, We're gonna
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: be a live today, so you might want to wrap up.
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: Just give me your ideas, get your vote in chairs,
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: you know, yeah with the depends. I'm proud of my

- 1:09:26Speaker 1: Something we have got. We are all exhausted from begging
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: everybody to vote, but we had to finish line. We
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: got to get the ball across the line. If you
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: get up out your chair and get your paperwork, your license,
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: and go down there and vote, stand in line, make
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: it count. We got to get him out the end.
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: We'll be back with more of the Steve Harvey Morning
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: Show coming up at the top of the hour. Right
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: after this. You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. This
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: country is on edge. I'm sure you guys have heard
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: about this. As we await the results of today's election,
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: a non scalable fence, also known as an anti climb fence,
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: has been installed around the White House. Man anybody trying
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: to get up in there. Hundreds of National guardsmen have
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: been put on standby, so basically the White House is
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: on lockdown. Also, various businesses around the country, like Macy's,
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: like Bloomingdale's, Tiffany's Luxury shops on Rodeo Drive, and Beverly
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: Hills all are being boarded up due to a potential
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: civil unrest. The question is will there be a peaceful
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: transfer of power if Joe Biden defeats Donald Trump. I
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: hope it don't be. I hope no. No, no, I
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: don't mean with the public. I mean I want his
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: ass to stay up in there till they come and
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: drag his ass house. Oh yeah, yeah, no, seriously, because
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: he has always thought of himself as above the law.
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: But if you get beat in this election, man, you
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: got to go. And the Republicans know that January twentieth, right,
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: And I like what you said yesterday too, Steve. He
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: has made this no longer the United States of America.
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: We are the divided death of America. That's all it is.
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: And it's never been this more in modern times, more obvious,
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: more people to feel embrazen to talk about their hatred
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: because it's coming from the White House, and this man
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: has put his stamp of approval on it. From the
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: Proud Boys to the militia groups to the clan, to
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: the skin head, to the red boots or whatever them
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: cats is. He just got everybody thinking, man, that it's
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: okay to flash the hate. At least we forced them
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: underground before this man has brought them out. Mentioned them,
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: call them, embolden them, call them. Find people, y'all. We
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: got to get to these poles today. If you have
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: not voted, go down there and get in line. We
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: are not intimidated by your Trump signs. We're not intimidated
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: by your caravan or trucks. Do what you want to do.
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: We were not who you I don't know who you
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: think we are, but let me tell you something. We're
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: a different kind of people. Ain't nobody scared of y'all.
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: You can put your hoods on and come down there
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: if you want to, because we understand what's in the hoods.
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: It ain't gonna be dark parting it. Come down here
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: with them hoods on if you want to. You're gonna
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: find out something. Man. But I don't look. Look, look,
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: I'm not pushing violets. I'm pushing fearlessness to vote. I'm
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: pushing steadfastness to vote to vote. I'm pushing us wanting
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: to do our civic duty and our obligation to our
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: ancestors to stand in that line. Hey man, they were
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: slaves there, entire lives a lot of our ancestors. We're
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: gonna stand in line for a date, for a dat.
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: You can't do nothing to me in a date. It's hot,
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: I'm tired, I got to pete. I'm thirsty, I'm hungry
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: at least man, our ancestors, with our ancestors were slaves
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: for years, hungry, tiring, sick, worked, beaten, threatened, and they
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: still survived. Then miss me with this here, we're gonna
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: be allowed to read simple things. Man, we're gonna be
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: in line all day. We're gonna stand right here. Can
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: about dad? Yeah you behind the Yeah, you you all
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: locked down. You scared the people you embolded. Poles are open,
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: so yeah, yeah, do what you gotta do. Do we
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: have a job to do today. Do what you gotta do.
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: And he built that fence, you know, during the summer
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: this past summer with the protest, the same move. He scared.
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: You scared, all the tough talk you scared. Now he's
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: just a wall he talked about building. All right, we'll
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: have more of today's trending stories right here on the
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up at twenty minutes after
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: the hour, right after this. You're listening to the show,
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: all right, you know what time it is, you know
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: what day it is. It is election day. And the
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: question is are we better off than we were four
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: years ago? Yeah? What is that a question? For real?
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: America is more divided than ever. The national debt is higher,
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: more Americans are unemployed than when Donald Trump came into office.
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: I don't here what he says. And we're even divided
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: on basic questions of science. I mean, Trump's denial driven
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: response to the pandemic has caused American UH to have
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: twenty percent of the world's death despite having just four
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: percent of the world's population. Come on, now, come on.
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: Did you see at his rally a couple of nights
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: ago they were saying, uh, fire doctor foulci fire doctor foci. Yeah,
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: come on come on now, yes, yes, exactly. You know
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: I guess how it right? Right? And Donald Trump, you
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: work for us. You keep forgetting that you don't know that. Yeah,
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: he keeps forgetting that he's a servant, he's a public No,
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: he's not. Surely he has never been a public servant
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: in his entire life. That's his problem. He's never been
- 1:15:55Speaker 1: a servant of people. He's been a rich boy from
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: a rich family who grew up to be a rich man.
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: He knows nothing about being a servant. He never came
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: into the office to serve people. He came in there
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: to better his position in life and his family. That's
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: all he's about. More of the Steve Harvey Morning Show
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: coming up at thirty three minutes after the hour. Right
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: after this, you're listening to the Steven Show, it is
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: time to ask the CLO. Life still goes on. I
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: guess and the Chief Love Officer, Steve Harvey is here.
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: Yes he is the CLO. Yes, all right. This one
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: is from Kelsey in Las Vegas. Kelsey says, I'm a
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: twenty seven year old married woman with a big secret.
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: I've been taking pole dancing classes instead of going to
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: the gym, and my husband doesn't know. We had a
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: showcase at a local strip club and fifty people were invited.
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: It was a way for us to show what we've learned.
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: Now videos of the show have popped up on social media,
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: and I'm afraid my husband is going to be it.
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: I was going to surprise him with a private dance
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: for his birthday, but he's going to be furious if
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: he sees me dancing for other random men. What can
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: I do to get ahead of this before it's a
- 1:17:12Speaker 1: big problem? Okay, let me ask you a question. First
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: of all, why would you let anybody tell you that
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: we're gonna go down to a strip club to showcase
- 1:17:22Speaker 1: in front of fifty other men and you married? Why
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: would you do that? That don't make no dog gonn
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: sense at all? Now, how can you get ahead of it?
- 1:17:33Speaker 1: You can get a copy of the video and you
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: can show your husband. He gonna be mad, though, yo. Yeah.
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: All what you can do is ignore it. Hope the
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: video never surfaces unless some years go by. What you
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: ain't gonna happen because somebody gonna see it somewhere that knows.
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: Somebody didn't know you. So I can't tell you how
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: to get ahead of this. The only thing you could
- 1:17:59Speaker 1: do is go and then tell him what you did
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: and you didn't know it was being videotaped, and you
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: did it as a surprise. That's your only chance. And
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: you know, and women y'all always tell I just tell
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: us the truth. Okay, going in there and tell him
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: the truth. But watch how this work. Watch, Watch how
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: this truth work for you? Though? Watch how now? Now
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: all y'all doubting the truth, now, watch how this truth work? Now?
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: But see if your ass wasn't up on that pole,
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: if you hadn't went to the polls instead of got
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: up on the poles. We have something right here, because
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: today is go to the polls, not get up on
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: the pole. Coming up. It's our last break of the
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: day on this election day, fro day for the election
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: day I'm t bringing y'all I will have. That's right,
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: that's right. Do your part. Everybody has to do their part.
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: If we just our part, that's right. Get out and vote.
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: Come on, boys, stad y'all break from ya get well.
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: We'll have some closing remarks from the one and only
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: Steve Harvey at forty nine minutes after. Right after this,
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right,
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: today is the day we've been waiting for. It is
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: election day, November three. If you have not already voted,
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: this is the day. Okay, November third. Some people, you know,
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: get up and they don't know what day it is.
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: Or what's the date. It's today? Okay, it is today. Earlier,
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: Senator Kamala Harris was on our show. This is it
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: encouraging people to vote. We need everyone to get out
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: and vote today. That's how important this is. I mean
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: we've said it before. Vote as if your life depended
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: on it. Okay, and it does, and it really really does.
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: All right. Democratic senatorial candidate Jamie Harrison in South Carolina
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: is who you need to vote for today? All right?
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: Democratic senatorial candidate Mike eSPI and Mississippi is who you
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: need to speak in Mississippi. Democratic Jamie Harrison in South Carolina.
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: That's Mike Aspy in Mississippi. Let's go y'all today to day,
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: that's right. Raphael Warnock in Georgia. Warnick in Georgia. He's
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: at the bottom of the ballot, so go all the
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: way down. Raphael Warnick in Georgia. That's who we want.
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: That's right. Also, Democratic senatorial candidate Marquita Bradshaw in Tennessee,
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: Marquita Bradshaw. Everybody in Memphis, Nashville, chat nouga, Markeito, come
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: on Shaw Queen. Democratic senatorial candidate Mayor Adrian Perkins in Louisiana.
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: Adrian Perkins in Louisiana. That's who we want. Adrian Perkins.
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: Everybody in Sliddale, laet Now, that's right. Body playing with deal,
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: that's right. And don't forget Steve out of Kentucky. We
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: want Amy McGrath Senator, Amy mcgrathcratic senatorial candidate. Don't worry
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: about the name Amy McGrath. Mitch McConnell up against MITCHI. Yes,
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: that's w Yes. Also in Michigan. In Michigan, vote to
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: keep Democratic Senator Gary Peters in office. All right, Gary
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: Peters in Michigan. Brothers and sisters, Gary Peters is who
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: we want to keep as the senator in Michigan. Not
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: John James. Do not vote for John James. He is
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: a Republican, is a Trump supporter. He is not for us.
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: John James is not on our side. Gary Peters is
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: on our side in Michigan. Today is the day we
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: have been waiting for. We are going to prove to
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: them once and for all, whether you want to acknowledge
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: that black lives matter or not, you will know after
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: we vote today. You will see the determination on our faces. You.
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: It will not be because of weather. It will not
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: be because of long lines. You will not deter us
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: because you're driving by with your flags and your pickup trumps.
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: You're not going to ter us by telling us that
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: it looks like a landslide victory. We don't give a
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: damn who you say it's a landslide victory. We're standing
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: in line. We are voting today. We are going to
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: pay tribute to our ancestors today. We are going to
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: stand there. We're going to remember that through slavery, that
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: they stood there for years, when they were tired, when
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: they felt like sitting down, when they were hungry, when
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: they got thirsty, when they had to go to the bathrooms,
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: they were forced into the institution of slavery. And it's
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: really just a black damn shame that in twenty twenty
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: we still got to be asking to be treated fairly
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: and be treated like everybody else. It's a damned shame
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: that in twenty twenty we got to steady say to y'all,
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: black lives matter. When you're gonna get it through your head,
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: that didn't matter. I'll tell you what, though, we're gonna
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: get tired of proving it to you. Though we're not
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: gonna get tired. We're not going away. We are here forever.
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: We are the very five of this country. We built
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: your nation. There are families who have been institutionalized wealth
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: that have been rich for hundreds of years, off and
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: the backs of slaves. Off. And because of the backs
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: of slaves, that was money made because you had no
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: labor cost. Empires were built because there was no labor cost.
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: And in twenty twenty here we got to constantly fight
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: the Republican Party for minimum wage so we can at
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: least get fifteen dollars an hour, seventeen dollars an hour,
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: oh god, don't ask for twenty. They're so used to
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: getting free labor that they keep trying to hold everybody down.
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: They won't even pass that law. They don't want to
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: give you healthcare that covers pre existing conditions. They trying
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: to get rid of that. They've been trying to get
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: rid of Obamacare since he got in office. And you
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: know why he ain't got rid of it because he
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: ain't got nothing better. He has nothing to replace it with, nothing,
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: because he lies over and over and over and over,
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: and we're sick of it, man, We're sick of you lying.
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: Talk about. You didn't have done more for black people
- 1:25:16Speaker 1: than any president, says Abe Lincoln. What have you done
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: the Prison Reform Act? You think that was for black people?
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: See here what they leave the information out? Biden and
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: Obama when they in administration release thousands of inmates from
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: prison who was serving unjust sentences due to non violent
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: drug related offenses. Now he passed a Prison Reform Act
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: and that three hundred out. Now he didn't done more
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: for black people than anybody else. Donald Trump ain't done
- 1:25:48Speaker 1: a damn thing for black people except try to prove
- 1:25:50Speaker 1: to everybody we are black, and he don't want to
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: have nothing to do with us. We tied in this. Man.
- 1:25:55Speaker 1: If y'alls ass don't vote today, don't say a damn
- 1:25:59Speaker 1: thing else to Steve Harvey after this right here, I'm
- 1:26:03Speaker 1: not gonna be in here. I'm gonna give you some
- 1:26:05Speaker 1: encouragement how to get through life. But I'm not mentioned
- 1:26:08Speaker 1: that ignorant ass president no more if you let his ass.
