- 0:15Speaker 4: Black the milk busy.
- 0:24Speaker 2: Listen to me, I don't Joy, Yeah, Joy, you gotta
- 0:59Speaker 2: do that turn.
- 1:15Speaker 3: You gotta turn.
- 1:31Speaker 2: I can't.
- 1:41Speaker 4: Have to turn the mouth the turn.
- 1:43Speaker 2: You probably got to turn mouth, turn out, turn the
- 1:47Speaker 2: word of the monju.
- 1:55Speaker 1: Come come on, you'll think, huh, I sure will. Good
- 2:04Speaker 1: morning everybody. Y'll listen to the voice.
- 2:06Speaker 5: Come on, dig me now, one and only Steve Harvey
- 2:11Speaker 5: got this radio show. Man, how I got here? I
- 2:16Speaker 5: really can't explain it. Only by the grace of God,
- 2:20Speaker 5: That's all I can really tell you. I was talking
- 2:25Speaker 5: with a buddy the other day and he was telling me.
- 2:27Speaker 5: He said, Man, he had an interesting philosophy about it.
- 2:31Speaker 1: He say.
- 2:32Speaker 5: You know, you can have dreams and visions, he say,
- 2:34Speaker 5: but God, God will never show you.
- 2:40Speaker 1: What all he has for you.
- 2:43Speaker 5: He won't show you all of it because he knows
- 2:46Speaker 5: you'll mess it up. And you know what, Man, I
- 2:50Speaker 5: thought about that, and maw, how true is that?
- 2:54Speaker 1: Okay?
- 2:56Speaker 5: I know that I got a radio show and see it.
- 3:00Speaker 5: It's just become this major blessing for me. I didn't
- 3:04Speaker 5: see it. But if I would have seen it and
- 3:07Speaker 5: known when he had planned on giving it to me,
- 3:11Speaker 5: I would have messed it up because Number one, my
- 3:14Speaker 5: first question would have been to him, why I got
- 3:17Speaker 5: to wait so long? Why don't I go down hill
- 3:21Speaker 5: and start on the radio now? And then I'll be
- 3:25Speaker 5: in radio and then TYD, I.
- 3:27Speaker 1: See there God.
- 3:29Speaker 5: But see the thing about God is God don't need
- 3:31Speaker 5: your help. Matter of fact, he don't really want it.
- 3:36Speaker 5: All he wants is you to love him and obey
- 3:39Speaker 5: if you can do them two things. I think I
- 3:42Speaker 5: could be wrong. I think he'd be really cool with us.
- 3:46Speaker 5: So had I known about these blessings that he had
- 3:50Speaker 5: for me, I would have messed him up because I
- 3:53Speaker 5: would have put my thinking in the figuring process, and
- 3:56Speaker 5: that would have jacked it all up. That's the first
- 3:59Speaker 5: thing out to ask why I got away so long?
- 4:02Speaker 5: And then if he'd ha shown me what I was
- 4:04Speaker 5: gonna have to do to get it, I would have
- 4:07Speaker 5: showed messed that up. Man, I ain't finna do that.
- 4:10Speaker 5: I ain't finna do all of that. Wait a minute,
- 4:12Speaker 5: I got to go through all of these mishaps in
- 4:15Speaker 5: my life. So when I get the radio show. I
- 4:18Speaker 5: have something to share, Man, Why don't I just read
- 4:22Speaker 5: a couple of books and share that experience with them?
- 4:25Speaker 6: Now?
- 4:26Speaker 5: See, I want you to know what you're talking about.
- 4:30Speaker 5: I want you to be transparent. I want people to
- 4:33Speaker 5: be able to identify with your struggle and apply they
- 4:36Speaker 5: struggle to it and see that they can get over.
- 4:39Speaker 1: See. God never shows you all of it.
- 4:42Speaker 5: Because he know we'll mess it up. I wouldn't have
- 4:45Speaker 5: any books, I certainly please know, I would not be
- 4:49Speaker 5: the host of family. Few can't tell you that. It
- 4:53Speaker 5: is amazing man, how God works. And my invitation to
- 4:58Speaker 5: everybody today is allowed God to work. You know, you
- 5:03Speaker 5: can ask him why all you want to. And from
- 5:05Speaker 5: time to time I still do no good for me,
- 5:08Speaker 5: But that' me old woe is me?
- 5:10Speaker 1: Lord? Thing that don't really get it for me?
- 5:13Speaker 5: Because when I start asking him why, I'm asking somebody
- 5:16Speaker 5: who has a thought process so high above mind that
- 5:20Speaker 5: there's no way if he told it to me, I
- 5:22Speaker 5: wouldn't even get it. You wouldn't either, Uncle, I'll bright
- 5:25Speaker 5: you think you are. Man, You just ain't gonna get
- 5:27Speaker 5: how and why he does it his way. You're not
- 5:30Speaker 5: going to understand it. But He has a plan for
- 5:33Speaker 5: each and every one of us. And if we adhere
- 5:36Speaker 5: to the plan, if we submit ourself to his will
- 5:39Speaker 5: and just say, okay, God, what you want me to do,
- 5:41Speaker 5: I am telling you it is the best way to live.
- 5:45Speaker 1: Now.
- 5:46Speaker 5: You can also do it the way I did it
- 5:48Speaker 5: early on. You can just do what you want to
- 5:51Speaker 5: do and see how it go from now. And I
- 5:54Speaker 5: will tell you from personal experience, it's not going to
- 5:57Speaker 5: go good.
- 5:59Speaker 1: You know.
- 6:00Speaker 5: My wife and I were talking the other day and
- 6:03Speaker 5: she said something with me, and I had to write
- 6:04Speaker 5: it down. She says, Steve, you know the funny thing
- 6:07Speaker 5: about sin? She says, sining costs you more than you
- 6:11Speaker 5: want to pay and causes you to stay longer than
- 6:14Speaker 5: you want to stay. Asked my wife where she got
- 6:20Speaker 5: that from. She says some old person told it to her.
- 6:23Speaker 5: She says, sining cost you more than you want to
- 6:25Speaker 5: pay and causes you to stay longer than you want
- 6:28Speaker 5: to stay. That's the problem, man, about doing what you
- 6:32Speaker 5: want to do. Because we are all sinners, man, all
- 6:35Speaker 5: of us, all of us, every last one of us
- 6:38Speaker 5: a sinners. You will be a sinner until you die.
- 6:40Speaker 5: Now you could be saved by grace. But you're going
- 6:43Speaker 5: to be a sinner man. You are going to make mistakes.
- 6:47Speaker 5: You are going to in your life knowingly do wrong.
- 6:53Speaker 5: I bet you will. I don't know who you think
- 6:55Speaker 5: you are. I don't know who you've been listening to.
- 6:57Speaker 5: But get this, we are sinners. We were born into
- 7:01Speaker 5: a world that is sinful. Now it's okay, it's okay,
- 7:06Speaker 5: it's our world. But we can make the best of
- 7:09Speaker 5: it because we can form a relationship with God and
- 7:13Speaker 5: we can go to war with this thing, you know,
- 7:14Speaker 5: and we can win. You can actually get over. Being
- 7:19Speaker 5: born into this world is not an end all. It
- 7:22Speaker 5: doesn't mean you're doomed, nah man, because God is available
- 7:26Speaker 5: to give you life, and not only give you life,
- 7:29Speaker 5: but give it to you more abundantly. I have more
- 7:32Speaker 5: of an abundant life than I've ever had.
- 7:35Speaker 1: If you took away the.
- 7:36Speaker 5: Finances, trust and believe, I have so many things I
- 7:41Speaker 5: could tell you that I'm grateful for. For my wife,
- 7:44Speaker 5: for my children, man, for my family, for the few
- 7:49Speaker 5: friends that I have, for the work that I do,
- 7:54Speaker 5: man for the respect that some people that I feel
- 7:57Speaker 5: around some people from the reputation earned now I ain't
- 8:01Speaker 5: cool with everybody.
- 8:02Speaker 1: I got that.
- 8:04Speaker 5: I ain't cool with everybody. Everybody ain't cool with me.
- 8:07Speaker 5: Everybody don't like me. Man, get past that right there.
- 8:11Speaker 5: I don't care what you do. Everybody are gonna like you.
- 8:13Speaker 5: Some people didn't like Jesus. What did he do?
- 8:17Speaker 1: What did he do wrong to anybody?
- 8:21Speaker 5: Show it to me where he was just out there,
- 8:24Speaker 5: just messing over folks, and you could justify all that
- 8:28Speaker 5: happened to him. Just show it to me. But he
- 8:31Speaker 5: knew everybody ain't gonna like me. I just come to
- 8:35Speaker 5: save y'all understand.
- 8:37Speaker 1: I got you.
- 8:38Speaker 5: Ain't feeling me. You're gonna spit on me. You're gonna
- 8:40Speaker 5: hang me up there, You're gonna pierce my side. You're
- 8:43Speaker 5: gonna do all that to me. When you get through,
- 8:45Speaker 5: I still love you. That's a powerful statement.
- 8:48Speaker 7: Man.
- 8:49Speaker 5: God will take care of you if you form this
- 8:52Speaker 5: relationship with him. He has something for you. He has
- 8:56Speaker 5: a plan for you that is beyond your imagine nation.
- 9:00Speaker 5: He will give you the desires of your heart. But
- 9:03Speaker 5: he also has some stuff in store for you that
- 9:05Speaker 5: you're not even asking for. That he is willing to
- 9:09Speaker 5: ship to an address that belongs to you as long
- 9:14Speaker 5: as you stay on the right path and are trying
- 9:18Speaker 5: your best, God to ship you the blessing anyway, because
- 9:21Speaker 5: please know He's done it to me. I'm a living
- 9:23Speaker 5: witness to this that God will ship you blessings and
- 9:26Speaker 5: you ain't gonna be perfect. But if he know your heart, man,
- 9:29Speaker 5: if he know you trying to do better, if he
- 9:31Speaker 5: see you trying to change, if he see you trying
- 9:34Speaker 5: to get it right, he understands that you're gonna stumble
- 9:38Speaker 5: all the way through this thing. But if he know
- 9:41Speaker 5: your heart and he know you trying to get it right,
- 9:44Speaker 5: and you're doing the best you can, board here, ship
- 9:47Speaker 5: some stuff your way. Man, you really be tripping, man,
- 9:50Speaker 5: You will really be tripping. Steve Harvey got a radio show.

- 13:56Speaker 6: You understand that getting ready to date somebody you want
- 13:59Speaker 6: to reference, so you might as well call the person
- 14:02Speaker 6: who was last connected with her, and in this case
- 14:05Speaker 6: it was the hubs so called the ex husband.
- 14:07Speaker 16: And you know you need a reference to the ex wife.

- 15:23Speaker 13: I no got that.
- 15:23Speaker 17: Brother.
- 15:24Speaker 13: May y'all to hear me out. What I'm trying to
- 15:26Speaker 13: say is is that I figured if I get a
- 15:28Speaker 13: reference and figure out what kind of person she is
- 15:31Speaker 13: and get to get a you know, kind of get
- 15:33Speaker 13: a background, so you can kind of tell me what
- 15:34Speaker 13: kind of person her good points of bad qualities, the
- 15:37Speaker 13: whole not see, it might save me sometime from being
- 15:40Speaker 13: in a long relationship if I know what to look for,
- 15:42Speaker 13: what's good? One man say say, oh boy, oh boy,
- 15:46Speaker 13: I know, I know I'm not listening to this. I
- 15:50Speaker 13: was mad twelve years. Ain't nobody give me no reference.
- 15:53Speaker 13: So don't call me asking for no like that. If
- 15:57Speaker 13: you got number for money, you and Monica need to
- 16:00Speaker 13: forget my Okay, but.
- 16:02Speaker 17: Hold on, hold on, bro, Like I say, man, I'm
- 16:04Speaker 17: just trying.
- 16:04Speaker 13: To figure out. Hold up, I'm trying to figure out
- 16:07Speaker 13: the good qualities and bad quite like you know, do
- 16:09Speaker 13: she want to cook? You know? Is she good in
- 16:12Speaker 13: the bedroom? You know what I'm saying, I'm trying to know.
- 16:14Speaker 13: I'm trying to just know what to look for. Dog,
- 16:17Speaker 13: that's all, man. I ain't trying to come in ere man, look, oh,
- 16:19Speaker 13: but I just can't believe calling enough about some I
- 16:24Speaker 13: don't have a no more. Only thing I have to
- 16:26Speaker 13: deal with is my child. You know what I'm saying.
- 16:29Speaker 13: And you most definitely don't need to be a rapped
- 16:32Speaker 13: out Say, dude, I got to go Okay, okay, okay,
- 16:34Speaker 13: but can you give me a good reference owner?
- 16:36Speaker 17: That's all I'm trying to get out.
- 16:38Speaker 13: Man. The reference is don't die number ever again. And
- 16:43Speaker 13: when I talked to Monica, me and her. But hey,
- 16:46Speaker 13: you ain't gonna have to worry about the relationship with Monica.
- 16:49Speaker 13: You know what I'm saying. Okay, okay, okay, Hold up, man,
- 16:51Speaker 13: let me go break this to you. First of all,
- 16:53Speaker 13: me and Bonica then dated for the last year, off
- 16:56Speaker 13: and on. We just finished. Get hold up, dude, the
- 16:59Speaker 13: last year. Me and this woman just got divorced a
- 17:02Speaker 13: few months ago.
- 17:03Speaker 17: Oh so you that who must have messed up money?
- 17:06Speaker 3: They don't lay hold on.
- 17:07Speaker 13: I ain't look look, I ain't calm nothing.
- 17:09Speaker 17: The reason why.
- 17:09Speaker 13: Y'all broke up. I don't have nothing to do with that.
- 17:11Speaker 13: I don't look here. Oh so you that slick, Say mate,
- 17:15Speaker 13: why don't you slide your little slick back under that
- 17:19Speaker 13: way that you slip from Mondon. He he ay, dog,
- 17:22Speaker 13: I can slide right on back under the rock you
- 17:24Speaker 13: talking about. But what I'm trying to ask you is
- 17:26Speaker 13: this right here? Man? Hey dog, can you just give
- 17:28Speaker 13: her brother some references? Man, somebody can look out for
- 17:31Speaker 13: some signs that A trick reference I'm gonna give you
- 17:34Speaker 13: is when you don't have enough money when she wants
- 17:37Speaker 13: that twelve hundred dollars bag, don't call me for that.
- 17:42Speaker 13: When she needs some more money for this, Oh well, baby,
- 17:45Speaker 13: I just gave you my check. What don't mean nothing?
- 17:48Speaker 13: And or you pull up your fingerccount ain't no money
- 17:51Speaker 13: or not? That's the reference ship needs, ain't. So I
- 17:55Speaker 13: need to hear from them, especially if you who was
- 17:58Speaker 13: around with my boy, why while we was married? Talking
- 18:02Speaker 13: about married? Hold the reference here. I'm gonna fine, yop,
- 18:06Speaker 13: I'm gonna call Monica and I'm gonna track down nig
- 18:10Speaker 13: yes in your reference. Then yeah, yeah, I give you reference.
- 18:14Speaker 13: Then face to face, Hey dog, I ain't trying to
- 18:16Speaker 13: have no altercation with you. Man, Oh boy, you must
- 18:19Speaker 13: have been trying to have something you dialing my okay dog,
- 18:22Speaker 13: let me okay, one more question man, and then I'm
- 18:24Speaker 13: gonna be out your hair. I just like I said,
- 18:26Speaker 13: I just wanted a few things and know some background
- 18:28Speaker 13: on them. Man. You you out of questions on boy,
- 18:31Speaker 13: you out of questions? Okay, but this I just need
- 18:34Speaker 13: to know this because I want everything he man, I
- 18:36Speaker 13: want everything to run smooth dog, and I want us
- 18:38Speaker 13: to have a good understanding. Do you have a problem, man,
- 18:41Speaker 13: with with your little girl calling me daddy? What did
- 18:44Speaker 13: you just as you asked me about my daughter? Hey? Hey, hey,
- 18:48Speaker 13: calm down, dude, I'm calming. I'm gonna pete. You asked
- 18:52Speaker 13: about mine? This about mine? Hey dog, I'm just here.
- 18:57Speaker 13: You around me time I will come home. Boy. Look,

- 19:05Speaker 13: You down number. Not only you got that, but man,
- 19:09Speaker 13: you're talking about time. I'm just asking, do you matter?
- 19:12Speaker 17: She called me?

- 21:28Speaker 14: since high school. What can I do differently to keep
- 21:32Speaker 14: a woman?

- 22:20Speaker 2: You know, easy, easy, easy.
- 22:28Speaker 1: You know, you know all this, you know all this talk.
- 22:31Speaker 13: You be here.
- 22:32Speaker 5: I'm finna do this, I'm finna do that now. You're
- 22:34Speaker 5: not easy, so you can keep somebody. It's gonna happen
- 22:38Speaker 5: for you regardless. What you don't want to do is
- 22:41Speaker 5: ruin it for the second time.
- 22:42Speaker 4: Take your time, easy, keep.
- 22:45Speaker 1: The light out.
- 22:47Speaker 5: Okay, easy, Well, keeping the light out don't really work
- 22:51Speaker 5: for me, because I'm telling you, because it ain't got
- 22:55Speaker 5: nothing to do with darkness.

- 23:05Speaker 5: that deep. Just slow down. You ain't all that now.
- 23:10Speaker 5: I appreciate you writing me and try to make it
- 23:12Speaker 5: sign like you all that, but you ain't.
- 23:15Speaker 1: Just slow down, baby Jesus.
- 23:18Speaker 5: You know I used to feel that way too, but
- 23:20Speaker 5: i'd ran up into some stuff in my life.
- 23:22Speaker 1: Boy, well, I was just just just over that wool.
- 23:25Speaker 1: Are you know what you're doing?
- 23:27Speaker 15: Moving on?
- 23:31Speaker 9: Destiny in Toledo as.
- 23:33Speaker 14: We move on, says I'm having a surprise fortieth birthday
- 23:37Speaker 14: party for my boyfriend, and I'm only inviting ten people
- 23:41Speaker 14: because of COVID. A random female called me and asked
- 23:44Speaker 14: for my address because she was paid to dance at
- 23:47Speaker 14: the party as a surprise.
- 23:49Speaker 9: I told her, no, thank you.
- 23:51Speaker 14: My boyfriend's brother called and told me he already paid
- 23:54Speaker 14: the stripper, and he demanded that I either give him
- 23:57Speaker 14: his money back or let the girl dance. Should I
- 24:00Speaker 14: mess up the surprise and tell my man to handle
- 24:02Speaker 14: his brother or should I curse him out myself?
- 24:05Speaker 5: Hey, wait a minute, this dude got to be kidding.
- 24:08Speaker 5: You can't have nobody. You can't get a dancer for
- 24:10Speaker 5: your brother.

- 24:16Speaker 5: But no, you can't do that. You can't do that. Now,
- 24:21Speaker 5: you ain't gotta let your brother handle up. Hey, here's
- 24:24Speaker 5: what you do. I think you need to end this
- 24:28Speaker 5: surprise thing before everybody gets surprised. So I think, really
- 24:35Speaker 5: what you ought to do is I think you ought
- 24:37Speaker 5: to just tell her, Tell the boyfriend ain't no, ain't no,
- 24:41Speaker 5: ain't no stripper coming in this house right here, And
- 24:45Speaker 5: if he want to get your money back, let him.
- 24:47Speaker 1: Give it back. But it's no, it's impossible. You can't
- 24:49Speaker 1: do that. Had no stripper, dancer? How holdadaya? They say?
- 24:55Speaker 1: He forty Yeah, he's turning forty got to be joking? Man,

- 25:30Speaker 14: as a negative thing? Is acting like one of the
- 25:33Speaker 14: boys ever a good thing?
- 25:36Speaker 13: No?
- 25:37Speaker 1: Not to me.

- 38:25Speaker 5: mom and my damn mama doog nineteen I'm explained. In
- 38:30Speaker 5: nineteen sixty seven, I done told it, dude. In nineteen
- 38:34Speaker 5: sixty eight, another dude asked me who grandmama up is
- 38:37Speaker 5: here at the school. That was the day after Martin
- 38:41Speaker 5: Luther king funeral on TV. I jumped dead on his head.
- 38:47Speaker 9: Forget all that piece of love stuff.
- 38:49Speaker 5: Yeah, I ain't know that Martin Luther King dead. I
- 38:51Speaker 5: don't want to hear nothing about this peach as. Yeah,
- 38:55Speaker 5: I had old parents. Now, my mama never had me
- 38:58Speaker 5: when they were forty two.
- 38:59Speaker 14: So oh okay, So do you think age matters when
- 39:03Speaker 14: it comes to parenting?
- 39:04Speaker 20: Then hell, you talk about what you're gonna talk about.
- 39:09Speaker 9: You should have them when you're younger.
- 39:10Speaker 1: You think, yeah, that's my recommend Yeah.
- 39:14Speaker 15: Well, what is the thing?
- 39:15Speaker 1: You don't have nothing to talk about.
- 39:17Speaker 12: Well, I mean the things that you want to relate
- 39:19Speaker 12: to these older parents.
- 39:21Speaker 14: They're much older, so the millennials and younger want to
- 39:24Speaker 14: talk about tech stuff.
- 39:25Speaker 1: And oh yeah, I'll give you an example.
- 39:28Speaker 5: Okay, I don't care for I love the grandkids when
- 39:33Speaker 5: they come over from running the office, Papa, hug me,
- 39:38Speaker 5: climb up on me, kiss me on the cheek.
- 39:40Speaker 1: I love that, man, and then get out of here.
- 39:43Speaker 14: But wait a minute, Steve, Okay, that would work if
- 39:46Speaker 14: you were a much older grandparent, but you're a normal
- 39:49Speaker 14: age for.
- 39:49Speaker 16: A great.
- 39:51Speaker 9: What are you talking about if.
- 39:53Speaker 4: I want.
- 39:58Speaker 1: Any degrees? Ain't having his life.
- 40:00Speaker 5: I don't say I was that old. I'm just saying
- 40:02Speaker 5: I don't at this age. I don't care for my
- 40:05Speaker 5: grandkids a visit. I'm with you the hell I look
- 40:07Speaker 5: like with a baby in my own case, and asshole, you.
- 40:11Speaker 12: Can only bring one at a time to my damn house.
- 40:13Speaker 12: One at a time. You can't bring them.
- 40:15Speaker 9: How many grand kids do you have?
- 40:17Speaker 4: I got eleven?
- 40:21Speaker 12: Wow?
- 40:22Speaker 14: And then you have you have a favorite, and everyone
- 40:25Speaker 14: knows and you make yes and all the other grandkids
- 40:30Speaker 14: know that, oh they.
- 40:30Speaker 1: Know, they know how to go and even lying if
- 40:33Speaker 1: they know how to go.
- 40:34Speaker 14: And acknowledge your favorite grandkids in front of that.
- 40:40Speaker 12: This, this cuts out all the mess of everybody gets
- 40:42Speaker 12: and well who the favorite?
- 40:44Speaker 1: Now they know?
- 40:48Speaker 2: Well today?
- 40:49Speaker 9: Does that call it a problem in the family.
- 40:51Speaker 4: Or anybody know that a cure is a favorite?
- 40:55Speaker 1: Can the rest of them?
- 40:57Speaker 4: Maybe you'll get it, maybe you won't. Yeah, but Kara
- 41:01Speaker 4: can get it anything anything.
- 41:03Speaker 13: She won't.
- 41:04Speaker 1: He's my favorite?
- 41:05Speaker 9: Is she your first grandkid?
- 41:06Speaker 13: Is that?
- 41:06Speaker 3: Why?
- 41:07Speaker 9: Your first grandchild?
- 41:08Speaker 12: It's a long story, but I picked her as a
- 41:11Speaker 12: favorite and we just rode with that and we don't
- 41:13Speaker 12: get into fights about it.
- 41:14Speaker 4: Let's just pick up here.
- 41:16Speaker 1: You picked her as a favorite?
- 41:18Speaker 4: Is the favorite?
- 41:19Speaker 2: How did you do that?
- 41:20Speaker 1: Though?
- 41:21Speaker 12: Look, my sister was the favorite of my mom. My
- 41:23Speaker 12: mom did speak to me until I was thirteen years old.
- 41:29Speaker 1: I have a favorite grandchild too.
- 41:31Speaker 9: Oh, you're not gonna do it. I know who it is,
- 41:38Speaker 9: but no, don't no.
- 41:39Speaker 1: No, you have a favorite grandchild? Is Ezra?
- 41:44Speaker 9: Oh that's the baby that can't.
- 41:46Speaker 5: Because he don't know me. Yeah, yeah, cause he don't
- 41:49Speaker 5: know you, He don't know me. He don't want nothing,
- 41:51Speaker 5: He don't talk back. He slob all the time to
- 41:54Speaker 5: try to hold his big ass head to look at
- 41:58Speaker 5: me like he ain't never seen it. He's and he
- 42:01Speaker 5: just slobbed. As soon as he see a bottle, his
- 42:04Speaker 5: whole body goes into a convolsion. Just straighten up and
- 42:09Speaker 5: stiff it out. When he see a bottle, he did
- 42:12Speaker 5: get he just lock up.

- 43:01Speaker 13: and do some services to uh for for you by
- 43:04Speaker 13: some friends of yours, and we wanted to actually call
- 43:07Speaker 13: and see about scheduling and see what you had available.
- 43:11Speaker 7: Uh some some services. What y'all plan on? Cut some
- 43:15Speaker 7: grass which I do what kind of services you have?
- 43:18Speaker 13: Actually, sir, you've got some friends that have actually spent
- 43:22Speaker 13: a great amount of money on you. And what we
- 43:24Speaker 13: do is we have a Baptismal on Wheels survey. And
- 43:29Speaker 13: what we do is we go and we we baptize
- 43:33Speaker 13: people at their home and and Baptism on Wheels has
- 43:36Speaker 13: been a new company, but we've we've baptized over a
- 43:40Speaker 13: thousand people. Now we have a truck with which actually
- 43:43Speaker 13: has a baptismal pool on the back of it, and

- 45:15Speaker 13: brother spring water. But what I'm trying to what I'm
- 45:18Speaker 13: trying to say, the.
- 45:19Speaker 21: Water is holy water, spring water. It doesn't make no
- 45:22Speaker 21: difference to me. You can't come to my neighborhood and
- 45:26Speaker 21: baptize me in front of mine?
- 45:28Speaker 13: Sir? What is all that mean? This is this is
- 45:31Speaker 13: what your friends are talking about that.
- 45:33Speaker 21: My prayers are telling you. Man, anybody which which one
- 45:37Speaker 21: of my prayers don't recommend you to come to my

- 45:43Speaker 13: Do that make that?
- 45:44Speaker 7: Don't make any sense to me?
- 45:45Speaker 13: You understand that I'm not at any liberty to tell
- 45:48Speaker 13: you who actually between the liberty.
- 45:51Speaker 21: Because of my damn house A baptized me, But you
- 45:53Speaker 21: can't tell me who the hell go see you?
- 45:56Speaker 7: But you're what make come on?
- 45:58Speaker 21: You don't even come on that that makes sense?

- 46:13Speaker 21: a friend of mine is sending at you there? You know,
- 46:15Speaker 21: letting you know I need to be dot you will
- 46:17Speaker 21: tell you that liberty.
- 46:18Speaker 13: Sir, sir, all I want to know basically, I've already
- 46:21Speaker 13: been paid. I'm coming to casual you now baptizing me.
- 46:26Speaker 13: I have that time. I'm going to baptize you on
- 46:29Speaker 13: Tuesday in your driveway.
- 46:31Speaker 21: Man, I'll tell you what. If you come to my
- 46:33Speaker 21: house and fro my driveway, you better bring the own congregation.
- 46:37Speaker 21: You understand, you better bring the deacons, the brothers, the
- 46:40Speaker 21: sisters and everybody else. Is you think I'm gonna be
- 46:42Speaker 21: adaptizing life?
- 46:44Speaker 17: This is the problem.
- 46:44Speaker 13: This is what your friends are talking about. This is
- 46:46Speaker 13: why you need to be baptized and cleansed again and
- 46:49Speaker 13: washed in the blood of the lu This is what's wrong.
- 46:52Speaker 13: You need to be cleansed. That's what's wrong with you,
- 46:54Speaker 13: mister Wilson.
- 46:55Speaker 21: What's problem with me?
- 46:56Speaker 5: Now?
- 46:56Speaker 21: What's brother with you? Was calling me in the mind
- 46:58Speaker 21: of my heart day telling me I need to be

- 47:04Speaker 21: down to the church. I don't need you come in
- 47:06Speaker 21: front of my house making a whole circus. We aren't

- 50:56Speaker 6: Smuggle up, hold on tight, we got it for you here.
- 50:58Speaker 6: It is the Strong Baby letter.
- 51:00Speaker 14: Subject my man says, I went from wop to hop.
- 51:06Speaker 14: All right, Dear Stephen Shirley, I'm a thirty year old
- 51:09Speaker 14: mother with three children. My children's father and I have
- 51:12Speaker 14: been together over ten years, So let me say this
- 51:15Speaker 14: before you bash me. He has asked me to marry
- 51:18Speaker 14: him several times, and I respectfully declined because we.
- 51:21Speaker 9: Need to go to therapy before we get married.
- 51:24Speaker 14: Here's why my confidence is at an all time low,
- 51:27Speaker 14: because my children's father has cheated many times. Whenever I
- 51:31Speaker 14: confront him, his exact words are, your sex is very boring.
- 51:35Speaker 9: And you complain too much.
- 51:37Speaker 14: When the new Magna Stallion and Cardi B song came out,
- 51:40Speaker 14: he even joked that I've gone from wop to hop,
- 51:44Speaker 14: meaning I have horrible ap.
- 51:48Speaker 9: My response was, well, I wouldn't complain.
- 51:51Speaker 1: What he said in the letter was horrible, ass Peepe.
- 51:57Speaker 1: You didn't want to say, ass.
- 51:58Speaker 16: You have to read the letter like.
- 51:59Speaker 14: We wrote the You didn't read you didn't write the letter, ike.
- 52:08Speaker 9: Anyway, all right, you guys got the message.
- 52:11Speaker 14: My response was well, I wouldn't complain as much and
- 52:14Speaker 14: would do a better job in the bedroom if you
- 52:16Speaker 14: were half the man you used to be. I'm often
- 52:18Speaker 14: tired from work and running around with three children, so
- 52:21Speaker 14: he blames me for our lackluster sex life and not.
- 52:25Speaker 9: Ever being in the mood.
- 52:28Speaker 14: I've obliged him many nights and would just lie there
- 52:30Speaker 14: trying not to fall asleep until the sex was over.
- 52:33Speaker 9: But now, years later.
- 52:35Speaker 14: And after all the cheating, it has affected my ability
- 52:37Speaker 14: to perform in the bedroom. I've heard it's a mental thing,
- 52:41Speaker 14: but I'm not sure why I can't get excited or
- 52:44Speaker 14: in the mood. I know that if I can't please him,
- 52:46Speaker 14: he's going to get it somewhere else. Just recently, we
- 52:49Speaker 14: got into a big argument and he yelled out that
- 52:52Speaker 14: I have some whack a kitty. He apologized a few
- 52:57Speaker 14: minutes later. But this is affecting my confidence.
- 53:00Speaker 9: He refuses to.
- 53:01Speaker 14: Go to therapy, So should I take my three children
- 53:04Speaker 14: and leave him? Okay, listen, you don't need therapy. You've
- 53:08Speaker 14: mentioned therapy a few times in this letter. You need
- 53:11Speaker 14: a new man, that's what you need. He's not deserving
- 53:15Speaker 14: of you. I mean, what does he do besides put
- 53:17Speaker 14: you down and cheat. Ten years of this, ten years
- 53:22Speaker 14: of this you've been going through. It has to be enough,
- 53:25Speaker 14: that you know, just say enough. This has to be
- 53:29Speaker 14: enough for even the strongest and the most confident woman
- 53:32Speaker 14: wouldn't be able to deal with this all the time.
- 53:34Speaker 14: And here you are doing what so many women do,
- 53:37Speaker 14: blaming yourself. I mean, I just say, life happens.
- 53:41Speaker 9: Three kids in a full time job, that's not.
- 53:43Speaker 14: Easy for anyone, and then he expects you to perform
- 53:47Speaker 14: and all of this and blah blah blah. When your
- 53:49Speaker 14: man is not right, sex is the last thing on
- 53:52Speaker 14: your mind. Let me tell you that the only thing
- 53:54Speaker 14: that you were to blame for in this is staying
- 53:57Speaker 14: with him, in my opinion, for ten years, and for
- 53:59Speaker 14: ten taking him back repeatedly when he cheats on you,
- 54:04Speaker 14: so you don't give him an incentive to stop cheating
- 54:07Speaker 14: or anything like that. So I say to you, first
- 54:09Speaker 14: things first, don't worry about from WOP to hop and
- 54:12Speaker 14: all of that. Right now, forget all that you can
- 54:16Speaker 14: get that back. He doesn't appreciate it or deserve it anyway.
- 54:20Speaker 14: It's just time to get back to yourself. I think
- 54:22Speaker 14: you should do you boo right now, start building up,
- 54:25Speaker 14: Start restoring what you have allowed him to tear down
- 54:28Speaker 14: in all these years. Fall in love with yourself again.
- 54:32Speaker 14: Start putting yourself first. Okay, yourself first, and watch him
- 54:36Speaker 14: take notice.
- 54:37Speaker 9: If not, don't be afraid to get.
- 54:38Speaker 14: The kids and move on or put his trifling behind
- 54:42Speaker 14: out Steve.
- 54:44Speaker 1: You know, Shirley, I.
- 54:45Speaker 5: Agree with every single thing you've said. Great advice to
- 54:50Speaker 5: this woman. Of course, my angle is going to be
- 54:54Speaker 5: a little bit different. See, I know how men operate,
- 54:58Speaker 5: and what he's doing is the a typical thing when
- 55:01Speaker 5: a man get busted or something. Here comes the reverse psychology,
- 55:07Speaker 5: Here comes the why I did it? You know now,
- 55:11Speaker 5: this thirty year old mother of three been together ten years.
- 55:16Speaker 5: He's asking to marry, but she's declined respect because she
- 55:19Speaker 5: feel like they need to go to counseling before they
- 55:22Speaker 5: get married. Because my confidence is an all time low
- 55:26Speaker 5: because he's cheated on her many times. Wait a minute,
- 55:30Speaker 5: cheated on you many times? Why are you still in
- 55:34Speaker 5: the relationship? The marriage part, This ain't even a discussion.
- 55:40Speaker 5: If a man ain't gonna act right before you get married.
- 55:43Speaker 1: What makes you think?
- 55:45Speaker 5: What thing happens that makes you think that he gonna
- 55:50Speaker 5: change after you get married. Remember, like I've said on
- 55:53Speaker 5: this show several times, a minister told me one time,
- 55:58Speaker 5: when a man gets married, the only thing that changes
- 56:01Speaker 5: the day after the wedding is the appearance of his
- 56:04Speaker 5: left hand third finger. That's if he is what he
- 56:09Speaker 5: was before you got married. Marriage doesn't change anything, not
- 56:14Speaker 5: for a person. You either practice being married or you don't.
- 56:18Speaker 5: You either getting ready used to cotton cut your little
- 56:21Speaker 5: strings out there or your little wild oat sewing get
- 56:23Speaker 5: that out to wait before you get married.
- 56:25Speaker 1: That's how you get married.
- 56:26Speaker 5: You can't be cheating on this woman repeatedly, steady asking
- 56:31Speaker 5: her to marry you.
- 56:32Speaker 1: Marry you for what? Man, are you kidding me?
- 56:36Speaker 5: And then every time you bust him, his exact words are,
- 56:40Speaker 5: your sex is very boring and you complain too much.
- 56:43Speaker 5: Wait a minute, that's not why you're cheating on me.
- 56:47Speaker 5: You cheating on me because your ass is a low life.
- 56:51Speaker 5: That's why you doing it.
- 56:52Speaker 20: Man.
- 56:53Speaker 1: Now, when we come back, I have my weight that
- 56:56Speaker 1: you should handle.
- 56:57Speaker 9: This all right, coming up, we'll have pardon me fun.
- 57:01Speaker 1: Okay, oh okay.
- 57:04Speaker 14: At twenty three after the hour, subject of my strawberry
- 57:08Speaker 14: letter for today, is. My man says, I went from
- 57:11Speaker 14: wop to hop. We'll get back into it right after this.
- 57:16Speaker 14: You're listening Steve Hardy Morning Show. All right, Steve, come on,
- 57:20Speaker 14: let's recap today's Strawberry letter.
- 57:22Speaker 9: Subject. My man says, I went from wop to hop.
- 57:26Speaker 1: This letter right here kind of hurt.
- 57:28Speaker 5: So Shirley gave this woman some spot on advice that
- 57:31Speaker 5: I agree with thousand percent. Thirty year old woman, three children,
- 57:35Speaker 5: they've been together with her man ten years.
- 57:38Speaker 1: And she's asked.
- 57:39Speaker 5: He's asked her to marry him several times, but she's
- 57:42Speaker 5: respectfully declined.
- 57:44Speaker 1: Why you did it respectfully?
- 57:45Speaker 5: I don't know, because I found out he wasn't treating
- 57:47Speaker 5: you with no respect at all. But you respectfully decline
- 57:50Speaker 5: because you say you need to go to therapy before
- 57:52Speaker 5: you get married, because your confidence as an all time low,
- 57:56Speaker 5: because he.
- 57:57Speaker 1: Has cheated on you many times. Now, here's the thing.
- 58:02Speaker 5: When you confront him, his exact words are, your sex
- 58:06Speaker 5: is very boring and you complain too much. Wait a minute,
- 58:12Speaker 5: that's why he's cheating on you many times. But he
- 58:18Speaker 5: stayed with you for ten years, made three kids, and
- 58:23Speaker 5: he's telling you that.
- 58:24Speaker 1: Your sex is very boring. He showed keep coming over.
- 58:27Speaker 5: There a lot for this boring sex. Three kids Now.
- 58:34Speaker 5: When the new mag Stallion and Cardi B song came out,
- 58:38Speaker 5: he joked that I've gone from him wop to a
- 58:42Speaker 5: hop hap and in the words of his letter, meaning
- 58:47Speaker 5: I have a horrible.
- 58:48Speaker 1: Ass p.
- 58:50Speaker 5: Okay, not dog. Really, this is mental abuse. I understand
- 58:57Speaker 5: the woman's confidence being shattered. I understand in that, but dog,
- 59:02Speaker 5: So you're gonna use reverse psychology. So you're telling this
- 59:05Speaker 5: woman the reason you cheat because she got bad sex.
- 59:08Speaker 5: Wait a minute, and then, lady, Now now you got close. Lady,
- 59:11Speaker 5: here's where I started to have hope for you. My
- 59:13Speaker 5: response was, well, I wouldn't complain as much and would
- 59:17Speaker 5: do a better job in the bedroom if you were
- 59:20Speaker 5: half the man you used to be. Nah, that's why
- 59:24Speaker 5: I want to get at in this letter. See, Oh,
- 59:26Speaker 5: you stinging me talking about I got a horrible pee.
- 59:31Speaker 5: Let's talk about jo pee. See right now, See if
- 59:35Speaker 5: you gonna talk about my pee, then we need to
- 59:37Speaker 5: talk about choke pee.
- 59:39Speaker 1: See. I might have a hop a.
- 59:42Speaker 5: Horrible ass pee, but you got something wrong with you too,
- 59:45Speaker 5: because you.
- 59:46Speaker 1: Just said he half the man he used to be.
- 59:49Speaker 1: That's a lot smaller.
- 59:50Speaker 15: You're scaring me.
- 59:51Speaker 1: Stick. So now you got a lap. See you got
- 59:55Speaker 1: a halp.
- 59:55Speaker 5: You got a horrible ass pee, and he got a lap,
- 59:58Speaker 5: he got a little lass.
- 59:59Speaker 1: Peek. See what I see? Then what we got to do?
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: We were doing initials. Now I gotta happy, You gotta laugh,
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: you gotta laugh.
- 1:00:08Speaker 5: Pe Now we in here talking about each other. Pete,
- 1:00:11Speaker 5: let's spread to pe round. Make my funk the p funk.
- 1:00:16Speaker 5: I wants to get funked up. I want the bomb.
- 1:00:19Speaker 5: I want the p funk.
- 1:00:21Speaker 22: I want my funk funked up. Make my funk the
- 1:00:25Speaker 22: p funk. I want you to get funked up. That's
- 1:00:28Speaker 22: what you want to play. The next time, y'all head
- 1:00:30Speaker 22: to the bathroom and the head to the bedroom.
- 1:00:32Speaker 5: I want something to happen to me. But you ain't
- 1:00:35Speaker 5: half the man you used to be, cause you the shrunk.
- 1:00:41Speaker 5: Your fine ass stomach is leaning over your belt.
- 1:00:43Speaker 4: I can't find it.
- 1:00:44Speaker 5: You can't find it. Now you're over here talking about
- 1:00:47Speaker 5: mind horrible. It's cause you little. Now we doing so
- 1:00:52Speaker 5: all you can go all you can go, l op.
- 1:00:55Speaker 5: You got a lousy old poker. See your poker is
- 1:00:58Speaker 5: lousy all you can bill a lamp. You gotta you
- 1:01:02Speaker 5: got a limp ass poker. See you can use We
- 1:01:05Speaker 5: can dose initials all day. See one thing about it, ladies,
- 1:01:11Speaker 5: you can bruise your man's ego or we in the
- 1:01:15Speaker 5: ego bruising business. Yeah, you ain't as exciting in the
- 1:01:20Speaker 5: bedroom no more, sister, because he don't excite you no more. Yeah,
- 1:01:26Speaker 5: you don't need a therapy. You need to Yeah, you
- 1:01:29Speaker 5: need to give it to him like he giving it
- 1:01:31Speaker 5: to you. It ain't what it was because you ain't
- 1:01:35Speaker 5: what you was. You an know what colored shoes you
- 1:01:40Speaker 5: got on? What color your shoes? You look straight down?
- 1:01:42Speaker 5: What color your shoes? You don't even know.
- 1:01:46Speaker 9: I went through that when I was pregnant.
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: See you don't know that.
- 1:01:49Speaker 5: See, but men, see it's okay for a woman to
- 1:01:51Speaker 5: do that when she pregnant. Y'all have a baby in there.
- 1:01:54Speaker 5: But some of us can't look down because we ain't
- 1:01:56Speaker 5: even got no baby. We just look like we in
- 1:01:58Speaker 5: our second try. Miss See, you got to bring this
- 1:02:02Speaker 5: up to him. You ain't got to be the only
- 1:02:04Speaker 5: one taking shot. And now years later, after all the cheating,
- 1:02:08Speaker 5: it's affected your ability to perform in the bedroom. I've
- 1:02:12Speaker 5: heard it's a mental thing, but I'm not sure why
- 1:02:14Speaker 5: I can't get excited or in the move. Well, let
- 1:02:16Speaker 5: me help you. You can't get excited because he ain't
- 1:02:19Speaker 5: exciting you. He ain't doing nothing. And when he get there,
- 1:02:23Speaker 5: you're about to fall asleep. So now these are these
- 1:02:27Speaker 5: his kids?
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: Yeah, he ain't his kids.
- 1:02:29Speaker 16: Then it must have been good at some point, that's
- 1:02:32Speaker 16: what I said.
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: That's what I said. You know, and they all live kids.
- 1:02:37Speaker 5: Cause he because he loved and he made little kids.
- 1:02:42Speaker 5: Oh his kids, real little underside down there at the school.
- 1:02:46Speaker 5: That's why I ain't. None of them playing basketball, none
- 1:02:49Speaker 5: of this. See, y'all go on this thing his ass.
- 1:02:53Speaker 5: Now y'all got the big ass argument. Recently he yelled
- 1:02:56Speaker 5: out that he got some black ass kiddy. Then he
- 1:02:58Speaker 5: gonna apologize a few in this lady.
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: Well you well, well you got a whack ass.
- 1:03:07Speaker 9: Well we can't.
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: I just said it. Well, yours is whack too. So
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: we're just in.
- 1:03:13Speaker 5: Here, just both serving up just bast sex. Now where
- 1:03:16Speaker 5: you're going, you gotta keep cheating because every time you
- 1:03:19Speaker 5: cheat with somebody, they don't want it no more. So
- 1:03:21Speaker 5: you gotta go get somebody else to cheat with everybody?
- 1:03:24Speaker 9: What I know?

- 1:04:33Speaker 1: I thought I could see it.
- 1:04:35Speaker 12: But in order to see it, I gotta buy something
- 1:04:37Speaker 12: I thought already bought. If it's something I've seen before,
- 1:04:42Speaker 12: and I want to see that. Why I gotta pay
- 1:04:45Speaker 12: for it to get I saw it one time for free.
- 1:04:48Speaker 12: Now it costs me two damn dollars to see that again.
- 1:04:52Speaker 4: I've seen that.
- 1:04:54Speaker 12: Yeah, that I've seen I've seen it, Okay, And not

- 1:11:37Speaker 14: A thirty four year old businessman from Fort Myers, Florida,
- 1:11:41Speaker 14: was arrested on his wedding night. On his wedding night
- 1:11:45Speaker 14: now for soliciting a prostitute. He and his wife honeymooned
- 1:11:49Speaker 14: in Tampa, Florida, and just six hours, six hours after
- 1:11:53Speaker 14: his wedding, while his wife was asleep, he looked online
- 1:11:57Speaker 14: for sex and he arranged to meet a prostitute at
- 1:12:00Speaker 14: a Tampa hotel. What when he got to the hotel,
- 1:12:04Speaker 14: he was arrested by an undercover detective who would post
- 1:12:07Speaker 14: as a prostitute online.
- 1:12:09Speaker 9: The groom.
- 1:12:10Speaker 14: Yes, the Groom was one of one hundred and seventy
- 1:12:13Speaker 14: six men arrested that night in the sting.
- 1:12:16Speaker 9: Is that crazy?
- 1:12:16Speaker 14: He spent his wedding night in jail because he tried
- 1:12:20Speaker 14: to because.
- 1:12:21Speaker 5: Here what happened on a lot of wedding nights. The
- 1:12:23Speaker 5: woman be so tired and exhausted from the events. Yeah,
- 1:12:29Speaker 5: and it don't be the night did everybody think it's
- 1:12:32Speaker 5: going to be? And so he got up and went
- 1:12:34Speaker 5: on down there and tried to get hisself tightened up.
- 1:12:36Speaker 5: And then that when he got caught. What he tried
- 1:12:40Speaker 5: to say was he was a part of the sting
- 1:12:42Speaker 5: and went down there to show him how people do
- 1:12:46Speaker 5: to help the police. You know, I'm just down here
- 1:12:50Speaker 5: trying to show up. Look, y'all need to start looking

- 1:15:15Speaker 10: research department ain't good at all.
- 1:15:17Speaker 4: We ain't researching nothing to find out it's the truth.
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: No, it ain't be true.
- 1:15:22Speaker 14: I don't care a lot now, okay, all right, Well
- 1:15:27Speaker 14: here's another one. Would you rather never pay for taxes.
- 1:15:31Speaker 14: We never pay for gas.
- 1:15:33Speaker 20: Hey, you were gonna say that, Yeah, yeah, I'm about

- 1:15:52Speaker 14: Of a small movie or be an extra in a
- 1:15:55Speaker 14: really big movie like Top Gun, Maverick or something?
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: No, damn extra walking, I ain't got no.
- 1:16:02Speaker 5: Hey, hey, stop good talk, I'll be a small ass line.
- 1:16:11Speaker 14: You're on the floor. You're part all right, one last one?
- 1:16:14Speaker 14: If we have time? Would you rather German chocolate cake
- 1:16:17Speaker 14: or cherry hey?
- 1:16:19Speaker 16: Hey?
- 1:16:20Speaker 9: Lord, cherry pie?
- 1:16:21Speaker 14: Hey?
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: Because you know why? Because it's hard to find a
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: good cheery path.
- 1:16:26Speaker 15: Oh, because I know that's what you make.
- 1:16:29Speaker 5: Anybody's sliding my DMS a while?
- 1:16:33Speaker 3: Are you saying? All right?
- 1:16:36Speaker 13: All right?
- 1:16:36Speaker 9: That's today's round? Would you rather? Thanks?
- 1:16:38Speaker 13: Guys?
- 1:16:39Speaker 9: Coming up at forty nine minutes after the hour, our.
- 1:16:41Speaker 14: Last break of the day and some closing remarks from
- 1:16:44Speaker 14: the one and only Steve Harvey.
- 1:16:45Speaker 9: Right after this, you're listening.
- 1:16:48Speaker 15: Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:16:50Speaker 14: Steve Harvey, You've brought your fabulous and very insightful, very informal,
- 1:16:54Speaker 14: very motivating. Closing remarks back, It's something that you started
- 1:16:58Speaker 14: years ago when you first started the Harvey Morning Show,
- 1:17:00Speaker 14: and people have grown to love them and you know
- 1:17:03Speaker 14: to live by them and be inspired by them.
- 1:17:05Speaker 9: So what do you have for us yesterday?
- 1:17:08Speaker 5: A real good piece of motivation that makes your quest
- 1:17:11Speaker 5: to become successful a little bit simpler. You know, oftentimes
- 1:17:16Speaker 5: people are stuck in a rut because they can't think,
- 1:17:20Speaker 5: they're way clear to see the end result. What I
- 1:17:24Speaker 5: mean by is, some people make such lofty goals and
- 1:17:29Speaker 5: then they sit there without a plan of attack to
- 1:17:32Speaker 5: achieve that lofty goal, until they've created a goal that
- 1:17:36Speaker 5: seems so daunting that they don't even start the process
- 1:17:41Speaker 5: of a trying to accomplish it. For example, And this
- 1:17:44Speaker 5: doesn't have to be the case. I'm just using this
- 1:17:47Speaker 5: as an example. Let's say you want to be a
- 1:17:49Speaker 5: millionaire and you say, wow, I want to make a
- 1:17:52Speaker 5: million dollars, and then you start thinking of how to
- 1:17:56Speaker 5: make the million dollars, and because you can't, it becomes
- 1:18:00Speaker 5: so daunting. Making a million dollars is difficult. If it
- 1:18:04Speaker 5: were easy, wouldn't you do it? By Friday?
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: Wouldn't you.
- 1:18:08Speaker 5: Of course you would, but it's a little more difficult
- 1:18:12Speaker 5: than that. So here's what I had to learn in
- 1:18:15Speaker 5: my life. Everybody listening to this was born with a
- 1:18:20Speaker 5: gift is inside of you. Because God is very fair.
- 1:18:24Speaker 5: He didn't put it on a mountaintop, he didn't hide
- 1:18:27Speaker 5: it under a rock. It's in you, and your gift
- 1:18:30Speaker 5: is the thing that you do the absolute best with
- 1:18:32Speaker 5: the least amount of effort. In that lies your greatest
- 1:18:37Speaker 5: chance for success. There's a scripture that says your gift
- 1:18:41Speaker 5: will make room for you and put you in the
- 1:18:44Speaker 5: presence of great men. Let's just look at the first
- 1:18:48Speaker 5: part of that, your gift will make room for you.
- 1:18:52Speaker 5: My interpretation of that has meant what my gift has
- 1:18:55Speaker 5: done for me. It has allowed me to spread out,
- 1:18:58Speaker 5: It has taken me places I never dreamed i'd go.
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: Your gift will do the same thing for you.
- 1:19:05Speaker 5: So now let's just talk about your ability to get
- 1:19:08Speaker 5: to the million. I think it's what your gift because
- 1:19:12Speaker 5: if that's that He gave you and instilled it you
- 1:19:15Speaker 5: at birth, was to make room for you.
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: Here's your chance. Now how do I do that? Steve?
- 1:19:20Speaker 5: I call it to maximize your effort by ten theory.
- 1:19:24Speaker 5: It's just something I came up with driving when I
- 1:19:26Speaker 5: was homeless and coming up with how to make it,
- 1:19:29Speaker 5: and I discovered something. All of you have something that
- 1:19:32Speaker 5: some would pay you ten dollars to do. Some of
- 1:19:35Speaker 5: you paint, some of you teach, some of you babysit tutors.
- 1:19:40Speaker 5: Some of you work with your hands. Some of you
- 1:19:43Speaker 5: can sing, some of you can choreograph. Some of you
- 1:19:48Speaker 5: it's so many things. Cut grass, I mean, play the pianos.
- 1:19:52Speaker 5: Some of you do something. Some of y'all work on cars,
- 1:19:55Speaker 5: some of y'all drive. But all of you have something
- 1:19:58Speaker 5: that you will do that someone will give you ten
- 1:20:00Speaker 5: dollars to do. All of you have something that someone
- 1:20:04Speaker 5: will pay you ten dollars to because you do something
- 1:20:07Speaker 5: that someone else can't do. So now all you gotta
- 1:20:10Speaker 5: do instead of trying to figure out how to make
- 1:20:12Speaker 5: a million dollars is go make the ten dollars that
- 1:20:14Speaker 5: you're able to make. Once you make that ten dollars,
- 1:20:17Speaker 5: I want you to do it ten more times. When
- 1:20:19Speaker 5: you do it ten more times, you now have one
- 1:20:20Speaker 5: hundred dollars. Once you have one hundred dollars, it's very
- 1:20:23Speaker 5: simple do the same thing you did to make thee
- 1:20:25Speaker 5: hundred dollars ten more times, you now have one thousand dollars. See,
- 1:20:30Speaker 5: you don't have to keep thinking of something else to do.
- 1:20:32Speaker 5: Just keep doing the same thing that you've been doing.
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: Just do it. Multiply the effort.
- 1:20:37Speaker 5: It's the effort that maximizes and brings about the fruition
- 1:20:40Speaker 5: of what your life can be. So, if you make
- 1:20:43Speaker 5: a thousand dollars and you do that ten more times,
- 1:20:45Speaker 5: I have news for you. Now have ten thousand dollars.
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: Now. Now, in order.
- 1:20:51Speaker 5: To make one hundred thousand, you might need a little
- 1:20:53Speaker 5: bit of help. You might need to hire somebody and
- 1:20:54Speaker 5: help you do the thing that you do. But if
- 1:20:56Speaker 5: you make ten thousand dollars and you do what you
- 1:20:58Speaker 5: did to make ten thousand dollars, which is the same
- 1:21:01Speaker 5: thing you did to make ten dollars, if you do
- 1:21:03Speaker 5: it ten more times, you now have one hundred thousand dollars.
- 1:21:07Speaker 5: Now listen to me, my friends. Once you have one
- 1:21:09Speaker 5: hundred thousand dollars, I can assure you you are going
- 1:21:12Speaker 5: to need help because in order to maximize one hundred
- 1:21:15Speaker 5: thousand dollars, you have to have some like minded people
- 1:21:18Speaker 5: around you. Nobody gets to the top alone. Nobody becomes
- 1:21:22Speaker 5: successful and wealthy by themselves. They form partnerships, relationships, they
- 1:21:26Speaker 5: get employees. But once you make one hundred thousand dollars
- 1:21:29Speaker 5: doing the same thing you did to make ten dollars,
- 1:21:33Speaker 5: if you do it ten more times, I have news
- 1:21:36Speaker 5: for you, my friends. Congratulations, you have just made one
- 1:21:39Speaker 5: million dollars with a ten dollar idea. Stop trying to
- 1:21:42Speaker 5: figure out how to make the million. What all you
- 1:21:44Speaker 5: got to do is take your ten dollar gift that
- 1:21:47Speaker 5: God has put in you. It's a million dollar gift
- 1:21:49Speaker 5: that you have. You just haven't broken it down inch
- 1:21:52Speaker 5: by inch. Anything's a cinch. And maximize the efforts. That's
- 1:21:56Speaker 5: how you become successful. These jokes that pay me what
- 1:21:59Speaker 5: I make now, it's the same jokes that paid me
- 1:22:01Speaker 5: twenty five dollars a night. They the same jokes. It's
- 1:22:04Speaker 5: all English. This is not in another language. I don't
- 1:22:10Speaker 5: know no more words now than I knew then. I've
- 1:22:14Speaker 5: taken these twenty five dollar jokes and I maximize them
- 1:22:18Speaker 5: over and over and over and over and over and
- 1:22:21Speaker 5: over and over. It's the same jokes I was telling
- 1:22:26Speaker 5: babysitters who charged fifty dollars to watch kids. Babysitters end
- 1:22:31Speaker 5: up opening up daycare centers. Daycare centers turned into franchises,
- 1:22:36Speaker 5: crim De La crim Monossory schools.
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: These are national franchises. Somebody was just babysitting.
- 1:22:46Speaker 5: My partner used to cut grass fus three dollars in
- 1:22:49Speaker 5: the front, three dollars in the back.
- 1:22:52Speaker 13: He got a.
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: Landscape and come here Cleveland. He made four million dollars
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: a year. You know what they do.
- 1:22:56Speaker 5: He cut grass, same six dollar grass cutting he been doing.
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: You check out some trucks.
- 1:23:01Speaker 5: Now, what is it that you do that somebody will
- 1:23:05Speaker 5: pay you ten dollars that you could maximize your effort
- 1:23:07Speaker 5: for and turn it into your million. Trying to figure
- 1:23:10Speaker 5: out how to make a million. Take your ten dollars
- 1:23:12Speaker 5: skills set and start hammering it and beating it and
- 1:23:16Speaker 5: working it and grinding and hustling and multiplying and magnifying it,
- 1:23:20Speaker 5: and you'll make a million dollars. That's my clothing remarks.
- 1:23:24Speaker 5: Thank y'all very much.
- 1:23:26Speaker 15: Thanks, Look all right now talk boy. Yeah,
