- 2:03Speaker 1: morning everybody. You're listening to the voice, Come on dig
- 2:07Speaker 1: me now, one and only Steve Harley got a radio show.
- 2:12Speaker 1: Here we go today. I think I have something for
- 2:16Speaker 1: a lot of people today, at least I hope I do.
- 2:19Speaker 1: And this is about on your journey, And this is
- 2:23Speaker 1: about something that happens to us all. I mean, what
- 2:28Speaker 1: happens to all of us from time to time when
- 2:32Speaker 1: we get discouraged. What happens to all of us when
- 2:36Speaker 1: we feel like quitting, What happens to all of us
- 2:41Speaker 1: when we have that turn back moment. What happens to
- 2:45Speaker 1: all of us when it don't seem like it's gonna
- 2:48Speaker 1: paying out? Because I want you to understand something that everyone,
- 2:54Speaker 1: every single living soul, has those thoughts about something at
- 2:59Speaker 1: some point in their life. I mean, you know, look,
- 3:03Speaker 1: I've oftentimes been discouraged about things not happening as fast
- 3:08Speaker 1: as I like them. All things don't paying out the
- 3:12Speaker 1: way I would like for them to have payed out.
- 3:16Speaker 1: I mean, there's so many ways to get discouraged. But
- 3:22Speaker 1: what but what my encouragement to you is when discouragement
- 3:27Speaker 1: comes is understand this. It is a part of the
- 3:32Speaker 1: growth process. It is a test. It is a test
- 3:40Speaker 1: of your faith. How bad you wanted do you really believe?
- 3:48Speaker 1: That's That's all faith is. It's simply, and I've said
- 3:52Speaker 1: this how many times. Faith is the belief in things
- 3:55Speaker 1: that you cannot see. So when discouragement comes, set back comes,
- 4:01Speaker 1: it is a test of your faith. At least it's
- 4:04Speaker 1: been that way for me. Now other people can explain
- 4:07Speaker 1: it another way. I'm not other people. I can only
- 4:09Speaker 1: give it to you the way it's come to me
- 4:11Speaker 1: and throughout my life and man on man on man.
- 4:14Speaker 1: Discouragement sometimes it's tough to deal with because it seems
- 4:22Speaker 1: at times when you are discouraged that is so absolute
- 4:27Speaker 1: that this means the end, and if you allow it
- 4:32Speaker 1: to set in, it can be just that the end
- 4:36Speaker 1: of you. When Milly Milly, it was a test, that's
- 4:42Speaker 1: all it is. But the majority of people that I
- 4:46Speaker 1: know who are not successful or who have told me
- 4:50Speaker 1: the story of how they gave up it was it
- 4:52Speaker 1: was because at a moment of discouragement that they allowed
- 4:57Speaker 1: it to set in and it became so engulfing that
- 5:03Speaker 1: it became the reason why you shouldn't finish, And then
- 5:06Speaker 1: they started justifying it with here the one that I
- 5:08Speaker 1: hate to hear. Well, if it if it's God's will,
- 5:11Speaker 1: excuse me. If it's God's will that you fail. If
- 5:18Speaker 1: it's God's will that you're not successful. If it's God's
- 5:24Speaker 1: will that you lay down and give up, it's God's
- 5:27Speaker 1: will that you allow yourself to amount to, not to
- 5:31Speaker 1: not reach your potential. That's God's will. That's not the
- 5:36Speaker 1: God I know. That's not the God I served, that's
- 5:40Speaker 1: not the God I've read about. That's not the God
- 5:43Speaker 1: I believe in. I'm sorry. I just my mother always
- 5:47Speaker 1: taught me something that he didn't bring me this far
- 5:49Speaker 1: to leave me. I just don't believe that, not for
- 5:54Speaker 1: a second. Now, have I convinced myself or some things? Yep?
- 6:01Speaker 1: Have I allowed the devil to come into the picture
- 6:03Speaker 1: and paint a different one from it? Yep, yep, I've
- 6:07Speaker 1: done all of that. But you can't blame that on God. Now,
- 6:11Speaker 1: come on, So when when discouragement comes, try to look
- 6:19Speaker 1: at it if you can, as a test of your faith,
- 6:23Speaker 1: and you merely have to pass the test. It could
- 6:27Speaker 1: be for a day, a half a day, a few hours,
- 6:29Speaker 1: a week, a few weeks, it don't matter. Don't nobody
- 6:33Speaker 1: know how long the test period is. Your job is
- 6:36Speaker 1: to keep the faith and keep moving. Keep the faith
- 6:40Speaker 1: and keep moving, keep working, keep believing, keep hope alive.
- 6:46Speaker 1: That's your job. If you do that, that's how you
- 6:50Speaker 1: pass the test. It could be over tomorrow, It could
- 6:53Speaker 1: be over in two weeks, it could be over in
- 6:55Speaker 1: a month. You don't know. But all you got to
- 6:57Speaker 1: do is wake up and keep the faith and fight
- 7:00Speaker 1: the discouraging feelings. And how do you do that? Steve?
- 7:03Speaker 1: Now here we go. This is the part I know
- 7:06Speaker 1: about for show because how many times I've had to
- 7:09Speaker 1: fight off discouragement in order to get to where God
- 7:13Speaker 1: wanted me to be. What do you do when you
- 7:17Speaker 1: become discouraged. Well, here's a series of things I do.
- 7:23Speaker 1: I think of the outcome. When I get discouraged about
- 7:26Speaker 1: a task, I think about the outcome. Man, what would
- 7:30Speaker 1: it be like if I were to complete the task?
- 7:33Speaker 1: What would it be like? Man? What would the outcome
- 7:36Speaker 1: be for me? If I hung on in there? If
- 7:39Speaker 1: I didn't give up? If I if I if I imagine,
- 7:44Speaker 1: I imagine if I don't quit. I imagine if I
- 7:48Speaker 1: don't give up. What would it be like? Man, Suppose
- 7:53Speaker 1: everything I'm hoping for comes true. But if I don't
- 7:57Speaker 1: quit and give up, that might just be the case.
- 8:00Speaker 1: I start talking to myself like that, I think of
- 8:04Speaker 1: what the upside is. What's the upside to stay in
- 8:08Speaker 1: with it? You see, all this is the same thing.
- 8:11Speaker 1: I'm just giving you different ways to look at it.
- 8:13Speaker 1: I'm saying the exact same thing over and over. But
- 8:16Speaker 1: I'm just trying to find the switch that connects in
- 8:19Speaker 1: your mind where you can say, Okay, man, I'm gonna
- 8:22Speaker 1: hang in there. Because if you think of the outcome,
- 8:25Speaker 1: and the outcome is appealing to you, if you imagine
- 8:28Speaker 1: what it would be like if you don't give up,
- 8:30Speaker 1: or you don't quit. If you if you think only
- 8:34Speaker 1: of what the upside is to stay in with it,
- 8:38Speaker 1: and then I I go, where can this lead to?
- 8:42Speaker 1: If I stay with it, man, and the outcome comes true?
- 8:46Speaker 1: What else could that lead me to? Because I mean,
- 8:50Speaker 1: there's always more to it? So what where else could
- 8:53Speaker 1: this lead me to? What are the possibilities? Man? What
- 8:58Speaker 1: are the limitless possibilities? What could God possibly have in
- 9:03Speaker 1: store for me if I just hang in there? If
- 9:06Speaker 1: I passed this test of faith, if I just passed
- 9:10Speaker 1: this test. Now, it ain't gonna be the only one.
- 9:12Speaker 1: But you gotta get past this one. No, then you're
- 9:15Speaker 1: gonna hear the smooth plane. Then it's gonna be another one.
- 9:18Speaker 1: It's gonna be another one. Life ain't nothing but a
- 9:21Speaker 1: series of tests. Man. Man, When you're thinking about giving up,
- 9:27Speaker 1: when you're discouraged, think of the outcome. Imagine what it
- 9:31Speaker 1: would be like if you don't quit, if you don't
- 9:33Speaker 1: give up. What's the upside to stay in with it?
- 9:37Speaker 1: Where can this all lead to? What? What can this
- 9:40Speaker 1: get you too? If if you do this and you
- 9:43Speaker 1: get to where you think you want to be, Oh
- 9:45Speaker 1: my god, what's after that? What are the limitless and
- 9:50Speaker 1: endless possibilities of holding on to your faith. What could
- 9:55Speaker 1: really be out there for me? Man? If I just
- 9:57Speaker 1: passed this test, you gotta talk yourself off into hanging
- 10:00Speaker 1: in there. And sometimes it ain't nobody talking to you
- 10:04Speaker 1: about hanging in there but you. But that's good enough
- 10:08Speaker 1: because God has a blessing for you. God's got a
- 10:12Speaker 1: blessing with your name on it. God has packages bundle
- 10:17Speaker 1: up with your name on it. He got blessings just
- 10:20Speaker 1: in boxes with your name on it. Man, I want
- 10:23Speaker 1: all the mind shipped. I'll be on Faith Street waiting
- 10:29Speaker 1: there to receive. I just I'm just believing he's shipping stuff.
- 10:34Speaker 1: But if you keep moving from the address of Faith,
- 10:37Speaker 1: if you keep getting off Faith Street, why you want
- 10:40Speaker 1: to do? Packages to go? They got your name on
- 10:43Speaker 1: it and it's based on your faith. But if you
- 10:46Speaker 1: keep moving on Doubt Avenue and ain't no Way Boulevard
- 10:49Speaker 1: and the pasage get delivered only the Faith Street what
- 10:52Speaker 1: you keep moving on Faith Street for? Come on, man,
- 10:55Speaker 1: you can't give up. You can't give up. You're the jentlemen,
- 11:03Speaker 1: boys and girls. Listen, this is Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 11:05Speaker 1: Let's stop playing around. Just the baddest morning show in
- 11:07Speaker 1: the world. Listen to something else, but you can't get
- 11:10Speaker 1: this over here. Jimmy Sherley, Bay, Hey, good morning to you.

- 11:46Speaker 1: but damn we see in a minute, I'm gonna feel
- 11:50Speaker 1: out to paperwork. Yes, like they said, I know some
- 11:57Speaker 1: people who didn't care because they ain't paying tasting nothing.
- 11:59Speaker 1: We don't, no, man, They passed it a night. How
- 12:02Speaker 1: do you pay your taxes though? Man, there's a lot
- 12:04Speaker 1: of people don't. It is to tell me it's a
- 12:10Speaker 1: whole lot of people don't play. Refuse to pay them. Yeah,
- 12:13Speaker 1: ain't got no sign that they exist. But our taxes
- 12:18Speaker 1: are complicated over here anyway. They say, you go to
- 12:21Speaker 1: other countries and it takes like ten minutes to fill up.
- 12:24Speaker 1: You go to Dubai and yeah, okay, ain't no tax
- 12:30Speaker 1: in d not a dollar. You make ten million, you
- 12:32Speaker 1: get you need to be a resident. Something bad that
- 12:37Speaker 1: that's what happens. That you'll pay check when you look
- 12:39Speaker 1: at it. But I have known people who have who
- 12:45Speaker 1: like teachers and stuff, who've gone over there to live
- 12:47Speaker 1: and teach and stuff, and they love it. They won't
- 12:50Speaker 1: come back. Dubai. Yeah, Dubaia's Dubaia is my favorite city. Well,
- 12:55Speaker 1: I want to get there. First of all, the crime
- 12:58Speaker 1: zero point six seven, I like that zero point six seven.
- 13:05Speaker 1: They mean they leave a doe with that mean dog.
- 13:08Speaker 1: The butler we had, I said, he came to next
- 13:11Speaker 1: mon excuse me, what now he know? He acts like that.
- 13:14Speaker 1: Ain't nothing. Though he acts like that, ain't nothing. Go ahead, man,
- 13:17Speaker 1: keep talking against you. We had a gun. It's okay,
- 13:24Speaker 1: you're rich, It's okay, you're blessed. We're all blessed, but
- 13:28Speaker 1: you're blessed. Go ahead. I need to hang out with
- 13:31Speaker 1: rich people. Active Come on, your butler, your butler, your
- 13:44Speaker 1: butlers butlers. But the buttler left the dough. Oh mitnight,
- 13:50Speaker 1: and I came downstairs only in the morning. Man with
- 13:52Speaker 1: confid I'll see the door with a little like being
- 13:55Speaker 1: bagg in the door and said, Yo, my man, can
- 13:58Speaker 1: I'm my family up in here and go out of night?
- 13:59Speaker 1: Need a dope, Mr Harvey. There is nothing that is
- 14:05Speaker 1: going to happen here to you. Everyone knows who you are,
- 14:09Speaker 1: We know you are here. There is no crime, No
- 14:12Speaker 1: one is here. We are watching you so closely. There
- 14:17Speaker 1: was no feel in the butler. Butler's butler out, I'm
- 14:23Speaker 1: gonna need you to lock that damn. I got all
- 14:26Speaker 1: that you say. But the next night, all that story, Steve,
- 14:34Speaker 1: We're gonna come back with the Junior's Truth be told
- 14:36Speaker 1: in part two of Steve's Dubai story. The Butler Butler. Yeah,
- 14:41Speaker 1: we'll be back after you're listening to the string show.
- 14:47Speaker 1: All right, coming up Junior's Truth be told. But before
- 14:49Speaker 1: we get to it, Part two of Steve's Goodbye story.
- 14:52Speaker 1: This was interesting. Well, I saw the next night the
- 14:54Speaker 1: butler he leaves a dope open again. Now, But I'm
- 14:58Speaker 1: down there that night and I go out there and
- 14:59Speaker 1: I take the bean bag out the door, and I
- 15:01Speaker 1: shut the door and locked it. He came back the
- 15:04Speaker 1: next morning he was just laughing. You do not believe,
- 15:07Speaker 1: do you? He said? You do not believe, do you?
- 15:18Speaker 1: It is okay, nothing is going to happen to you.
- 15:21Speaker 1: Mr Harvey. Believe me when I tell you you are
- 15:25Speaker 1: beyond safe here. Wow, you are so protected. Everyone knows
- 15:29Speaker 1: who you are. Why are they come? Why are they
- 15:32Speaker 1: come for here? Who is coming? No one? I had
- 15:37Speaker 1: the same thing in molds. I told you not to
- 15:40Speaker 1: leave the dome, he said. He said, excuse me, where
- 15:45Speaker 1: are they going? We are on an island that you
- 15:52Speaker 1: can walk around in twenty two minutes door to your
- 15:55Speaker 1: dog is coming, and well they're going. There's no way
- 16:02Speaker 1: to leave. Why would you still yeah and get caught in? Yeah,
- 16:08Speaker 1: go where I see you going to catch you? Yeah,
- 16:11Speaker 1: we see. Yeah, I'm not gonna do. Yeah. Women too
- 16:17Speaker 1: for that to get out of me to because it
- 16:21Speaker 1: is that comfortable, not the doing with a chair up
- 16:29Speaker 1: that way. Even if you get in, I'm gonna hear
- 16:31Speaker 1: so alright, Jr. Time for in that same vein. Let
- 16:37Speaker 1: me just say this. I got a phone call over
- 16:39Speaker 1: the weekend. Right, I'm not using no name, but they say, hey,
- 16:44Speaker 1: we need you to pray for so and so. Now
- 16:47Speaker 1: we've been praying for so and so but I left year,
- 16:53Speaker 1: and I'm just saying, since I don't see no change,
- 16:55Speaker 1: and so and so and so, don't be told quit
- 17:00Speaker 1: this prayer. I just what. I just want to know
- 17:03Speaker 1: because I'm tired of getting on my knees asking something
- 17:06Speaker 1: clearly that's not gonna happen. I just want to know
- 17:10Speaker 1: how long do we have to keep this prap going?
- 17:12Speaker 1: Doesn't say anything? So getting off something? Is that? Yeah? Yeah, yeah,
- 17:17Speaker 1: yeah yeah. But they're back though they was off two days.
- 17:22Speaker 1: Jay back in custody. Now, how came we got to
- 17:26Speaker 1: keep praying? That's what I'm saying. That's all I want
- 17:29Speaker 1: to know. Why how I going down here? You know,
- 17:33Speaker 1: I'm surely I know you don't agree with this, but
- 17:35Speaker 1: I'm kind of of the mindset that I don't really
- 17:39Speaker 1: like praying for people that don't won't pray, don't clearly
- 17:43Speaker 1: don't want it, really just have a problem with you always.
- 17:47Speaker 1: There's so many things I could be talking to the
- 17:50Speaker 1: Lord about that I clearly I won't. I didn't pushed
- 17:53Speaker 1: off my house. I won't for him. That the new
- 17:58Speaker 1: car I've been asking love, I didn't put on old
- 18:00Speaker 1: because we got to keep praying for him. Okay, can
- 18:03Speaker 1: I ask the question? Go ahead, I do speak to
- 18:05Speaker 1: the Lord. Do you think the Lord gets tired of
- 18:08Speaker 1: hearing that person's name? The Lord already know what I'm
- 18:12Speaker 1: coming down here? Name? Won no tell hold on, I
- 18:20Speaker 1: didn't been three I've been on three way phone calls
- 18:25Speaker 1: with my head down. I asked clothes, praying for this food.
- 18:30Speaker 1: We didn't did the church. We didn't been a call.
- 18:31Speaker 1: We've all been on the knee for him. No, we
- 18:33Speaker 1: didn't prayed at devotion. And if he clearly not, won't
- 18:37Speaker 1: just prayer? Shouldn't I have the right to stop. I
- 18:40Speaker 1: want you and that I am of the mindset that
- 18:42Speaker 1: there are a lot of family members that just ain't
- 18:44Speaker 1: work for Damn dude. I got the phone call and
- 18:50Speaker 1: you know he went back to jail. When when just
- 18:53Speaker 1: just last night we need to pray. I'm not praying
- 18:55Speaker 1: this week. We all got feminine members like, right, yeah, clearly,
- 19:03Speaker 1: I'm like, was it clearly? And some stuff I could
- 19:05Speaker 1: be praying for for myself? For yourself, man, I stopped
- 19:09Speaker 1: praying for Charles thirty years. You know your cousin. I
- 19:17Speaker 1: stopped thirty years ago at church. He left church and
- 19:21Speaker 1: winning stores. He what hold on, hold on, We're playing
- 19:33Speaker 1: in a church league playing basketball. We get through playing basketball.
- 19:39Speaker 1: The bishop of our church was the coach. We had
- 19:43Speaker 1: a cold. We had a squad that we could beat all.
- 19:45Speaker 1: We could beat the industrial teams. That's how cold we were.
- 19:49Speaker 1: He would get through and go in arm robbed stores, wow,
- 19:56Speaker 1: and then be a church next morning. When they busted him,
- 19:59Speaker 1: he couldn't fast to twenty seven robbers. Whoa up kid?
- 20:05Speaker 1: Stick up kids? Yeah, you can my boy with with
- 20:10Speaker 1: with a blank gun. It didn't have real but just
- 20:12Speaker 1: a blank gun. Twenty seven robbers. They only called him
- 20:15Speaker 1: on this one. He got in there and got scared
- 20:18Speaker 1: and said he confessed to all twenty seven they have been.
- 20:21Speaker 1: They ain't even asking about the mother, about him. What
- 20:28Speaker 1: we can do him, that's all. I can't pick your
- 20:32Speaker 1: family members. It was so ugly, man, it was so
- 20:39Speaker 1: ugly embarrassing. Every family's got them though everything. Yeah, you know, yeah,
- 20:45Speaker 1: we all. I had to call him, damn, here it come.
- 20:53Speaker 1: You know, I know you don't like I know you
- 20:56Speaker 1: don't like company and stuff, Jay, but you do have
- 20:58Speaker 1: your family over for the house. No, right, no, not
- 21:02Speaker 1: at all. I don't like company. I know you don't
- 21:05Speaker 1: like company, but your relatives might leave him go home
- 21:15Speaker 1: my couch. Have your ros has ever been over your house?
- 21:18Speaker 1: One time? But time? One time? You got a lot
- 21:26Speaker 1: of relm to come to your house. Yeah, well you
- 21:30Speaker 1: know I have. You know, my immediate family comes, all
- 21:33Speaker 1: the kids and they kids. You know, we like that,
- 21:36Speaker 1: like you, my kids and their kids. Yeah, my kids
- 21:40Speaker 1: and the grand kids. That's the cool thing I company
- 21:43Speaker 1: anybody else? Man? Alright, coming up next, the nephew has
- 21:48Speaker 1: his run that prank back. I ain't on the welcome
- 21:50Speaker 1: and committee at the Dome. Right after this, you're listening

- 22:07Speaker 1: at this time, for the nephew to run that prank back?
- 22:10Speaker 1: What you got? Job off? For sure? Run that thing back,
- 22:15Speaker 1: that job off? Here go Hello, Hello, I'm trying to

- 30:48Speaker 1: single during the holidays usually brings looks of pity from people,
- 30:52Speaker 1: but really, really it can be cool. It can if
- 30:55Speaker 1: you're single. What being single for the holiday? Yeah? It
- 31:00Speaker 1: to people. You need to find somebody. I don't, don't.
- 31:04Speaker 1: I'm telling you you need to find someday by yourself.

- 31:43Speaker 1: Or breakups. You know what. A lot of people break
- 31:46Speaker 1: up over the holidays. You don't have to worry about that.
- 31:48Speaker 1: Can't break up if you ain't gotten no more. Yeah, okay,
- 31:52Speaker 1: here's another one. You don't have to buy a lot
- 31:54Speaker 1: of gifts. Think about it. You ain't get okay, I'm
- 31:59Speaker 1: just looking at the bright side of this. There are
- 32:02Speaker 1: no mandatory spouse holiday parties you have to attend. Ain't
- 32:06Speaker 1: got nothing on to stove. You don't have to spells
- 32:13Speaker 1: in the house. Okay, here's another one. You don't have
- 32:15Speaker 1: to choose which family you're gonna celebrate with. There's always
- 32:18Speaker 1: a fight about that, you know. Yeah, but you need
- 32:20Speaker 1: to find somebody's house though. And then here's a good one.
- 32:26Speaker 1: New Year's Eve. You can go into two thousand eighteen
- 32:29Speaker 1: focusing all on you. Okay, you have a brought in
- 32:33Speaker 1: the New Year's by yourself. When you do, when you

- 32:47Speaker 1: can focus on just yourself breaking in the new year. Okay,
- 32:51Speaker 1: but you couldn't do that the year before because you
- 32:54Speaker 1: still buy you. We're looking at the positive side of
- 32:59Speaker 1: being single. Ste that's all. No, there's there's no positive. No,
- 33:04Speaker 1: you don't think you need to find somebody. I remember

- 33:28Speaker 1: me talk to coming in? What y'all doing it? Now?
- 33:31Speaker 1: Who is that? Who is that? Now? Is that the doubt?
- 33:35Speaker 1: What baby? Is that? What y'all look at that? You
- 33:37Speaker 1: don't want to do that? Wow? I like all of
- 33:41Speaker 1: that yourself? Do you like being by yourself during the holidays?
- 33:49Speaker 1: So Jack, listen, listen, listen, listen. That's what it sounds.

- 34:31Speaker 1: we was just in the neighborhood when you outside because
- 34:34Speaker 1: you ain't coming in? What is it in your house?

- 35:00Speaker 1: And see good morning everybody. This is a trip with
- 35:04Speaker 1: the news. Well. The U. S. Supreme Court has now
- 35:06Speaker 1: given the Trump administration the official go ahead with its

- 35:20Speaker 1: can put it in now and we'll see what happens later.
- 35:22Speaker 1: The band applies to travelers from chad, Iran, libby As, Syria, Yemen, Somali,
- 35:27Speaker 1: but also on North Korea and Venezuela. President Trump, by
- 35:30Speaker 1: the way, criticizing the Special Council's investigation into Russia's involvement
- 35:34Speaker 1: in last year's presidential election again. He says he feels
- 35:37Speaker 1: bad about his former National security advisor, Michael Flynn, who
- 35:41Speaker 1: admitted on Friday Line to the FBI about his contact
- 35:44Speaker 1: with Russian ambassadors. And it's like they ruined his life.
- 35:49Speaker 1: It's very unfair, he said, that Helle Clinton lied several times,
- 35:54Speaker 1: but he's never supplied any information to back up his
- 35:56Speaker 1: claim that Mrs Clinton lied to the FBI. With Alabama's
- 35:59Speaker 1: special Senate elect and only about a week away. At
- 36:01Speaker 1: first noncommittal, not Donald Trump is now firmly supporting the

- 36:16Speaker 1: only false and numerous, but malicious. They've attacked me form,
- 36:21Speaker 1: my judicial decisions, my property taxes, and sexual immorality. Now well,

- 36:33Speaker 1: even though one of them accuses the former Joseph sexually
- 36:36Speaker 1: assaulting her when she was only fourteen and he was
- 36:38Speaker 1: in his thirties. There was a rally in Detroit last
- 36:41Speaker 1: night and in support of eight eight year old Congressman
- 36:43Speaker 1: John Conyers, who has been accused of sexual impropriety. Supported
- 36:46Speaker 1: say Conyers has fought for civil rights and so many
- 36:48Speaker 1: other things. He has an incredible legacy and should not

- 37:03Speaker 1: may not be black. The new mayor will actually be
- 37:05Speaker 1: a white woman who's gained a lot of black support.
- 37:07Speaker 1: New York Giants fired coach Ben McAdoo and general manager
- 37:10Speaker 1: Jerry Reese yesterday. Big Blues records horrible. John Marrack, co owner,
- 37:14Speaker 1: said had to go. It became more and more apparent
- 37:16Speaker 1: that we were going to have to do something at
- 37:17Speaker 1: the end of the season. So we talked about why
- 37:21Speaker 1: prolonger any longer? Why why not just get it done now? Yeah,
- 37:24Speaker 1: the Big Blues record was actually two and ten, so
- 37:26Speaker 1: that was kind of bad. The Giants record was so bad.
- 37:29Speaker 1: But McAdoo also sent a lot of fans bloods boiling

- 54:49Speaker 1: hundred Walmart. Tommy's all new prank c D and you're welcome,
- 54:55Speaker 1: Thank you, Thank you, sir. Where can we all about
- 55:00Speaker 1: the DAYMN race? Right after that? Coming up today's Strawberry
- 55:06Speaker 1: letter right after this you're listening to show. The race
- 55:13Speaker 1: is tomorrow. Mm hmmm, the races between Junior and Tommy
- 55:18Speaker 1: seventy five yard Day. It's gonna be on the lot
- 55:23Speaker 1: of NBC. Yes, yes, you already have the space and everything.
- 55:29Speaker 1: I'm gonna go working out today. They're real challenging people, Tommy,
- 55:36Speaker 1: what's your record and everything? And all of its Sanders
- 55:45Speaker 1: pretty he's pretty convinced and he got a lot of
- 55:47Speaker 1: take us on his side with this. So let me
- 55:49Speaker 1: explain something, y'all. What happened was it started last year
- 55:53Speaker 1: when we I was doing the bike Challenge to raise
- 55:56Speaker 1: money for the foundation. We had to tread meal in
- 55:58Speaker 1: there and we got to setting it up on the
- 56:00Speaker 1: speed or the top speed on this twelve on this
- 56:04Speaker 1: particular model was twelve miles per hour and so you know,
- 56:09Speaker 1: I'm not really able to do that anymore. So I
- 56:12Speaker 1: ran on it for eight seconds, six maybe six to
- 56:17Speaker 1: eight seconds, cops, and I had to stop, you know,
- 56:21Speaker 1: because I felt delf tearing and pulling and splitting and opening,
- 56:28Speaker 1: and I felt water and more, you know, just coming
- 56:34Speaker 1: out of places. It's just at six I was actually
- 56:40Speaker 1: starting to come apart at the five second mall. So
- 56:47Speaker 1: Junior Tommy got on there ran Tommy is a runner.
- 56:50Speaker 1: Though Timmy is a runner, nobody knows anything about Junior
- 56:54Speaker 1: at all. And Junior got on there and he had
- 56:56Speaker 1: a cell phone and some keys and a loose pair
- 56:59Speaker 1: of sweat paying and he was running in Nike ass
- 57:02Speaker 1: very blocking shoot. And Junior's form didn't look good. The
- 57:08Speaker 1: keys and the phone was running fast. So everybody kind
- 57:14Speaker 1: of saw that. So the bet is now tomorrow, seventy
- 57:18Speaker 1: five yard dash between Nephew, Tommy and Junior at NBC Universal.
- 57:22Speaker 1: I will feel it. The bet is two thousand dollars.
- 57:28Speaker 1: Junior and Tommy lost a forty yards. Now he want
- 57:35Speaker 1: to run longer, well, he needs more. Turn was over
- 57:40Speaker 1: too fast. It is all right, It's time to get
- 57:43Speaker 1: to this letter. We'll talk about this later and we're
- 57:46Speaker 1: taking new bets. Take it to the letter. You know what,
- 57:52Speaker 1: A lot of people said that till the latter we
- 57:54Speaker 1: go alright, alright, we gotta put you here. It is
- 57:58Speaker 1: the Strawberry Letter. Thank you, Tommy Bead. Steve subject, forty
- 58:03Speaker 1: seven years old and never been tested. Good morning, Stephen Shirley.
- 58:07Speaker 1: I am here in Vegas alone and there is something
- 58:10Speaker 1: weighing on my heart. So I decided to write in.
- 58:14Speaker 1: I've been talking to a man for about a month.
- 58:17Speaker 1: I really like this guy, and we connected immediately. I
- 58:22Speaker 1: am fifty three and he is forty seven. The getting
- 58:25Speaker 1: to know us phase has turned up some issues, but
- 58:28Speaker 1: since they won't harm or hurt me, I can compromise.
- 58:32Speaker 1: The thing that brought us to a halt is his
- 58:34Speaker 1: refusal to be tested for HIV. He says he never
- 58:39Speaker 1: has and never will. How are some of us still
- 58:43Speaker 1: stuck on stupid and afraid of being tested? Really? I
- 58:48Speaker 1: have tried everything to help him see that this is
- 58:51Speaker 1: something he should do for himself. We're in Georgia, and
- 58:55Speaker 1: I don't know if it makes a difference, being in
- 58:57Speaker 1: the Bible Belt and all, but it breaks my art
- 59:00Speaker 1: because this is a deal breaker. For me. Do you
- 59:03Speaker 1: think there is anything I can do to urge him
- 59:06Speaker 1: to get tested? Thanks in advance for any advice. Even
- 59:10Speaker 1: though it's only been a month. It is painful pulling
- 59:13Speaker 1: away from him, real painful. I think this is a
- 59:18Speaker 1: lot after only a month. Uh so much other stuff, um,
- 59:22Speaker 1: you know, to talk about after only a month of dating.
- 59:25Speaker 1: But since we're talking about it, I'll say this to you.
- 59:30Speaker 1: Sorry that you should have to, but you can get
- 59:33Speaker 1: over the pain. You say. It's going to be really
- 59:35Speaker 1: painful pulling away from him. Time. It takes time, and
- 59:38Speaker 1: time will heal all those wounds. And because since this
- 59:42Speaker 1: is a deal breaker for you, this relationship after only
- 59:45Speaker 1: a month is apparently has apparently run its course, I
- 59:48Speaker 1: would say again, I still think it's a bit early
- 59:51Speaker 1: for all of this. But um, if you've asked him,
- 59:54Speaker 1: if you've told him how important it is to you,
- 59:56Speaker 1: how it will make you feel if he did it,
- 59:58Speaker 1: If you've made it a requirement, as Eve so often says,
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: and he still refuses to get tested, then stick to
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: your guns. Um. You have every right to want what
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: you want, um and get it. Um, you like him,
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: but if he's uncompromising. You've mentioned in your letter that
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: you've compromised on some things that won't harm or hurt you,
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: and he's uncompromising on this. If he won't take an
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: HIV test, uh, something that will make you happy and
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: secure about his health, then you have to be with
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: someone who will. To me, it's just that simple. Again,
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: I'll say this. I still think it's a bit early
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: to even have that discussion. Uh. Not that you shouldn't
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: have it, but I think it's a little early, Steve, Okay, Chel,
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: I'm sorry I have to disagree with you one on this.
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: I don't think it's too early at all. I think
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: this is a very important conversation. I think they have
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: to have this conversation now it's been thirty days. She's
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: really liking this guy, and this is obviously trying to
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: get made to move in another direction. This is a
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: real simple conversation. This ain't a conversation about marriage and none,
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: which they should be having that conversation too. Because you're
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: fifty three years old, he's forty seven. You ain't got
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: time for new games. Do you would look for us
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: to move forward? Are you willing to get tested? Now? Never? Have?
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: Never will? That's ignorance at its highest level. This is
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: about education. This is about knowing your status. This is
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: about staying healthy, staying alive. This is about your life.
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: This is about the risk and safety of everyone involved
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: other than yourself. What you're meeting now is a man
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: who doesn't care what you think or want, and it's
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: only concerned about his own self. I never have, I
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: never will. That's an amazing statement for anybody to make.
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: And God bless you for having this conversation so early,
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: because this conversation is needed by more people before they
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: have sex than to wait until after they have sex.
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: And that's the problem in a lot of communities. We
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: don't want to talk about it. We don't want to know. Well.
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: I own the hand, on the other hand, would love
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: to know if that was something wrong with me so
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: I could address the issues. If you've met a man
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: who doesn't want to know what's wrong with him, then
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: he doesn't care about what's wrong with you. Very good,
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: Very good, And I'll be And the funny bone is
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: in there. I'm not saying that she should never have
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: the discussion. I never said that. I just think you
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: know it's a little earlier. You have ninety days. Just
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: my opinion. This is the conversation that they have to
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: have now it's about HIV testing. Absolutely, I agree with you.
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: You don't want to have a conversation at right want
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: you it's thirty You got another thirty, You got another thirty?
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: You can you can mix it in there. We gotta go.
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: You're listening to even show? All right, Steve, come on
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: with part two of your response to today's Strawberry letter.
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: What you got forty seven years old and never been tested? Steve,
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: this fifty three year old woman meant this wonderful man
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: who's forty seven. Uh, you know, they've getting to know
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: each other. That turned up a couple of issues. But
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: the thing that brought him to a halt is his
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: refusal to be tested for HIV. He says he never
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: has and he never will. Uh. The ladies really stuck
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: on this because she's going, how in two thousand twelve
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: are we still stuck on stupid and afraid of being tested? Really?
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: I've tried to get him to see this, Uh what
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: she says. We're in Georgia, and I don't know if
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: that makes a difference being in the Bible Belt at all. No,
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: No ignorance is everywhere. Ignorance is up north out west. No,
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: it has nothing to do with the Bible Belt. It's
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: just some people are just like you say, stuck on stupid.
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: Do you think there's anything I can do to urge
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: him to get tested? Okay, here's all I can think of.
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: If you want to continue to see me, if you
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: want to ever be with me, then we have to
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: go get tested. Period. That's all it is to it.
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: There is no other way to get resolved in this matter.
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: And I want you to understand, ladies, that will work
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: in most cases if the man is really feeling you. Now,
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: after man ain't feeling you, he can't get tested, and
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: he will get whether you stay or go. But if
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: he really wants you to stay, he gonna do everything
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: and it's power to prevent you from going. So, even
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: though it's only been a month, it's painful pulling away
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: from him, real painful. I got that. I got that.
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: But let me tell you what to hurt even more.
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: If you go to the doctor and the doctor tells
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: you you've now tested positive, I can assure you that
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: will hurt you far more than the pulling away part
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: from him. Right now, you cannot afford to play with
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: this issue. This is a serious issue. Take a swab.
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: Don't blame the stupidity on now see we gotta go.
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: You can email us or Instagram. That's your thoughts on
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: today's Strawberry Letter at my girl, surely, and please do
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: not forget that. This Thursday we will be live with
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: the Strawberry Letter live after show on Facebook. Okay on Facebook,
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: Meet me there one pm Eastern Time. Alright, switching gears,
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: get ready? Scientists want to take the sparkle out of
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: life on one more time show before how y'all getting
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: Ready tomorrow on the NBC lot. I will record it.
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: It gets Tommy. They're betting two thousand dollars? Can I
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: get in on this bet? Everybody on the show has
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: been on tom Well, you know, let's let's let's talk
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: about that for a quick secon. How is it that
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: these people that are bed ain't on me, ain't even
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: kin to me, but the person that I'm kin to
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: goes another direction away from me. Well, I actually wants
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: to put up some money. Uh yeah, get out of
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: this one. No, I ain't trying to get out of me. No,
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: I mean, but how you against me? I ain't give you.
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: I hope you do well. Kind of sounds like you're
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: against well I am. I care what you think. It
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: sounds like, yeah, I don't killing about all that with
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: your blood. Yeah, if you were jumping on it, you know,
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: I had to go on side with Tom. But Junior
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: ain't jumping on Junior race. I just want to get
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: shot off a treadmill though, you know. But dog, I
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: just gotta be the one that locked our house. I
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: want to bed fire hunting on it. I'm gonna beat it.
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: I'm gonna beat on you at least by te. What
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: did you run with, Dian He didn't look like you
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: were running at all? Prime house? You mean, what did
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: he show up to be a foot rape? He didn't
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: look like it looked like a fighter jet was lined
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: up with a mosquito, right man? People still watching that
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: on YouTube? Still watching it? Okay, So but okay, and
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: I think the race should be he really wants us
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: to have you really want to put some money on videotaping.
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: But let the house better, let me be the house.
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: You take all the money, right af just take he
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: let you get it over? Hold on, hold on, hold on, hold,
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: come over that when you're right now, hold on, show
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: what you want to do with that. Well, one of
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: the reasons, Junior, you know I love you, but I've
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: just never seen Do you want to take that talking
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: about Yeah we're older, you know this. This is Tommy's
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: think Tommy life. Talk about all that he do, uh
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: huh all the time. That's what you talk about. That's
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: what I do. I do this. I just that's what
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: you do all of that. Okay, I don't I like that.
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: Dude got the most. But you ask anybody about me, Okay,
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: I bet you want to ask Brand Bright who brand

- 1:08:47Speaker 1: Oh yeah, okay, I'm not worried, but I'll tell you
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: what time, which one we are, and how many years

- 1:13:00Speaker 1: she changed would do the money was so high? Yeah, okay, No,
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: she just in for five dollars. That's cool. Can you
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: put vote dollars on it? No? No, you're not. I mean,

- 1:14:18Speaker 1: do forty? Because he's skid? Well, why did he change?
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: And syne you're not asking him why he went from?
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: And why did you because our old ass don't need

- 1:14:30Speaker 1: Sidy has a time trial out ran a sidney five right?
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: The time trials don't make it fitty. We're gonna make
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: it fifty afforded yard dash? Is what time speed? Fifty is?
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: What it is? Junior? No, No, it's making Junior's voice

- 1:14:54Speaker 1: it is it's a forty yard dad, that's what right?
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: Pick of it? That's true? Five thousand dollars. And the
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: boy said, yes, no, no, what is he scared? I'm five?
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: Either way you go, so you ain't don't know we're
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: doing ten more yards? What is that gonna prove? If
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: what you wanted you want three most seconds of being back,
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: then what I want most seconds of making you look bad?
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: We're going fifth in junior fifty yard dash? Five thousand dollars,
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: thousand dollars for each everything. Can I just say I'm
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: new here. There ain't no joke, right y'all? Absolutely not
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: a joke. It's not a game. I'm gonna show up.
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: I'm gonna be right, not dumb behinded me. Oh ji side,
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: this is this is it five? It's gonna be on
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: the universal lot. It's gonna be back there where they

- 1:15:57Speaker 1: market all fifty yards five thousand dollars there it is.
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: That's too high. I'm gonna take my fifty dollars back
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: off the table. It was five hunt. Wait what you know,

- 1:16:36Speaker 1: pay for that back. I want to thank you on
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: behalf back. Thank you sir. You're listening to Steve Morning Show.
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: Coming up at the top of the hour. Have a
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: stress free holiday season. That's Tommy. But this five thousands
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: is now going to each one of you as foundations.
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: Absolutely it should go to chair, even it's Tommy's and
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: your tears hope, tears hope you're gonna be hop Yeah, can't, can't.
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: Can I just say this, can't a little bit of
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: money just be taken out to mess around. Just go
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: to the strip club or something, you know, man, you know,
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: make it rain, just a little bit of make it rain, like,
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: get somebody to do something for the Jakes, get your
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: run with it. Run it ain't never gonna for you,
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: ain't gonna. I didn't want to see that. I don't
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: want to see two friends go at it like that.
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: It's what's gonna happen. The racist Wensday Thursday gonna be
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: tenching up in the show. Thursday is gonna be Steve
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: with somebody else and then will be posted on Steve
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: Harvey dot com. How about you can go yeah, the
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: ones because of the custing that's going to take place,
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: I can't. I will say this, Junior. You're sounding more
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: and more confident. Yeah, yeah, it's amazing to me. I'm
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: listening to down. Let me tell you to put you down,
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: but I'll tell you what Shirley pet had your day
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: of philis hurt. I'm not Yes, Steve, Shirley for real.
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: I think you're going to be surprised. Well, I'm saying, Junior,
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: sounding more and more confident. I've never heard you talk
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: about racing. You all have not done is you all
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: have not added in and factored the think? Does anybody
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: want me to factor it for you in the age. Okay, wait,
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: hold on, before you do that, I'm gonna ask you this, Steve,
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: have you seen Junior race or run or anything? Okay,
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: A just one. But I haven't seen Tommy race either.
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: Up he looked about damn there as good as I
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: would have moved that. Okay, So go ahead with your
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: factoring in. Here's the deal. This is the part that
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: you're not understanding. And what Tommy never factors in. With
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: all of the bets he makes, Tommy does not factor in.
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: This is not in his mind. This is an actuality.
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: Tommy is fifty. He doesn't even have the quickness that
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: he had seven years ago when Dion sand has mopped him.
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: I don't like this. I'm talking about marked him. Seven
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: years after this, he doesn't even understand. He went to
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: his boys track practice and Tommy had been on the
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: track by himself, just running as a fifty yell. When
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: them when the boys got out there and put that
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: thing on tom Tommy discovered these dudes is blazing fast.
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: See me get running by yourself that when you was
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: literally used to run down the street and look at
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: the cracks in the sidewalk going by real you went, Wow,
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: I'm fine, I'm fast until you ran Dwhite Hill Mojoe
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: White Luck Floyd Well and you find and that's what's
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: gonna happen to Tommy. What you all do not understand
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: is Junior played football in Texas and was ranked really
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: really high and was famous for his speed. And how
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: long ago was that? Don't worry, but hello it it
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: was probably pro probably twenty two years ago. Okay, probably
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: twenty two years ago. But see, Tommy, you ain't recognized
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: for your speed, and that's been more than years ago. Okay,
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: they're trying to get in your head now. I don't
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: want my question. I don't want my question. Can we
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: call Dion and see who you put his money on?
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: Oh he did, yeah, because he said he hadn't seen
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: me run none of that, you know, which is cool,
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: which is what everyone. Let me just tell you, like this,
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: all I've been doing is overcoming ours. You think I
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: that's all I do. That's all I do. Not gonna
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: you can't leave it on the sideline. I hold up
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: tim and hold up that LUs. He can't take the
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: sick got he got the I want other kids would
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: sit and sell to watch this and say you know
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: what I can do. I didn't do that. Wow, boy,
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: this boy, I don't understand what I'm running for. Man,
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: I ain't running for me. I'm not running for me.
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: You're running for I should appreciate you and then let
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: me tell you something else? Can I say something else? Yeah?
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: The reason I've I've been on sick people because you
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: might not have to pay it. What Steve Harvey can
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: take that back? Take that back? Keep crazy you someone
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: and you start and supported written race, but I can't
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: relate and let the joke right up thick me because
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: you might not have never ceased to amaze me. Steve Harding,
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: al Right, we have more of the Steve More of
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: Love the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming on right after this.
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: Say that's funny. Damn you guys, that was funny that
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right? Uh, alright,
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: I'm so embarrassed right now? What do we don't? All right, Steve,
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: I can't believe you said what you said last break.
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: We're gonna just let it rise and you might have
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: to might not have to pay him. I mean, should
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: you want his money to go to his funeral? Yeah?
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: On your face. Junior just told the whole story. You
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: really like that, you had big dog support, right, you do.
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: But see, let me explain I'm to you already. No,
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: Junior gonna beat Tommy just because of the age thing. Huh.
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: It's the age and the way they run. Tommy is
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: a runner, Junior's a sprinterer. That's two different to different people. Here,
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: runners is four hundreds and up. That's what Tommy do.
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: Tommy ain't never ran no forty sixty hundred to twelves.
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: Tommy can beat him in a distance. But tom but
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: from right here to right there, he ain't gonna be
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: able to get you. And Tommy's quickness is nowhere near
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: what do you think it is. That's the point I'm
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: going to prove to him. But what happened is once
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: I get out once thing they go. Once we're out there,
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: Once Tommy first three steps, he's gonna still be looking down.
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: We go. See, man, he's not gonna and Tommy don't
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: do well. We're coming back. What do you mean from
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: behind me? Tommy not to comeback guy, come from behind? No, no, no, no, no,
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: that ain't what he do. Having different attitude if he
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: loses the race. Yes, that's what we're doing. That you
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: don't know Tommy very well. Oh, he's actually to speak
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: to you or anyone else on this show for at
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: least three weeks, which is gonna give me more inspiration
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: what he's Oh, he will look at you. He's not
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: a good loser, right, Uh, you snatching and and he
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: holds onto it for a long he agreed that I cannot.
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: And it's hard to get him to pay I'm gonna
- 1:25:30Speaker 1: just be real with y'all. Hard to get him to
- 1:25:33Speaker 1: pay it. Yeah, he'll come in, he'll look at you.
- 1:25:35Speaker 1: You speak to him. You think he's any of his
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: characters that are fast? I mean, I'm like, isn't Eugene
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: knock Me over? Said that? Yeah? Yeah, yeah, Eugene is
- 1:25:51Speaker 1: knock me man. But I thought he was. And that
- 1:25:56Speaker 1: fast need, I mean yeah, that can slow you down.
- 1:25:59Speaker 1: That's all I meant by that. You ain't never seen nobody,
- 1:26:03Speaker 1: nobody knock Need ever ran a foe three for nobody. Hey, y'all,
- 1:26:09Speaker 1: listen to me. I don't want Tommy Junior is going
- 1:26:12Speaker 1: to collect his money and it's not gonna be good. Well,
- 1:26:16Speaker 1: this is what you need to do. You need to
- 1:26:18Speaker 1: get the money. Let someone me hold the money. Tommy
- 1:26:23Speaker 1: not gonna have his five. Alum, what I'm saying before
- 1:26:26Speaker 1: the race, Before the race, you need to have the money.
- 1:26:31Speaker 1: You gotta come to the race. What's your money? Just
- 1:26:32Speaker 1: say no, I'm gonna write you a check. No, okay, okay, okay,
- 1:26:37Speaker 1: don't call. One's not fast, but it's pay and he's
- 1:26:42Speaker 1: gonna be mad if he loses. You said he's not
- 1:26:45Speaker 1: gonna bring his money. Yeah, man, No, no, Tommy's not
- 1:26:47Speaker 1: gonna have five. That's the first thing y'all need to understand. Well,
- 1:26:52Speaker 1: then you're gonna have to put it up for him,
- 1:26:54Speaker 1: Steve not putting up a damn all your idea. Don't
- 1:26:59Speaker 1: go to write an Oh no, but dog, he gonna
- 1:27:02Speaker 1: had to go get it. Well, good luck with that. No,
- 1:27:05Speaker 1: he's gonna have to get it. But it's only gonna
- 1:27:07Speaker 1: make himself look bad because he just he'd ran his mouth.
- 1:27:11Speaker 1: Tommy gonna lose the race. I'm just telling you, I
- 1:27:14Speaker 1: can't wait for we have to get him this. All right,
- 1:27:15Speaker 1: we'll be back with more of Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:27:18Speaker 1: You gonna lose your money right after this. My five
- 1:27:21Speaker 1: dollars gone kissing goodbye. You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:27:32Speaker 1: All right. The stereotype of being single during the holidays
- 1:27:35Speaker 1: usually brings looks of pity from people, But really, really,
- 1:27:38Speaker 1: it can be cool. It can if you're single. What
- 1:27:43Speaker 1: being single for the holiday? Yeah, and I'll look to people.
- 1:27:45Speaker 1: You need to find somebody. I don't, don't. I'm telling
- 1:27:49Speaker 1: you you need to find some day by yourself. Wake up,
- 1:27:55Speaker 1: Oh Christmas day by yourself? Ain't no noise in another room? Wow? Okay,
- 1:28:01Speaker 1: well there are There are a lot of things, junior,
- 1:28:03Speaker 1: that single people can do that someone with a significant
- 1:28:07Speaker 1: other can't. How about that. Uh, I'm gonna tell you.
- 1:28:11Speaker 1: Your time is your own for one thing. You have
- 1:28:14Speaker 1: that freedom. But guys, here are ways the singles have
- 1:28:17Speaker 1: it better during the holidays. Check it out, junior. There
- 1:28:20Speaker 1: are no fights waiting to happen. Yeah, that's a great thing.
- 1:28:25Speaker 1: Or breakups. You know what. A lot of people break
- 1:28:28Speaker 1: up over the holidays. You don't have to worry about that.
- 1:28:31Speaker 1: Can't break up if you ain't gotten no more. Yeah, okay,
- 1:28:34Speaker 1: here's another one. You don't have to buy a lot
- 1:28:36Speaker 1: of gifts. Think about it. You ain't okay, I'm just
- 1:28:42Speaker 1: looking at the bright side of this. Uh, there are
- 1:28:44Speaker 1: no mandatory spouse holiday parties you have to attend to
- 1:28:49Speaker 1: stow me. You don't have to sell the house. Okay,
- 1:28:56Speaker 1: here's another one. You don't have to choose which family
- 1:28:59Speaker 1: you're going to celebrate with. There's always a fight about that,
- 1:29:02Speaker 1: you know. Yeah, but you need to find somebody's house though.
- 1:29:06Speaker 1: And then here's a good one. New Year's Eve. You
- 1:29:09Speaker 1: can go into two thousand eighteen focusing all on you. Okay,
- 1:29:14Speaker 1: you ever brought in the New Year's by yourself? When
- 1:29:17Speaker 1: when you do, when you do blowing that horn, don't
- 1:29:21Speaker 1: nobody here, nobody here. You can focus on just yourself
- 1:29:31Speaker 1: breaking in the new year. Okay, but you couldn't do
- 1:29:34Speaker 1: that the year before because you still buy your We're
- 1:29:40Speaker 1: looking at the positive side of being single state, that's all. No,
- 1:29:44Speaker 1: there's there's no positive. No, you don't think you need
- 1:29:47Speaker 1: to find somebody. I remember the first time we moved Atlanta.
- 1:29:50Speaker 1: First time I didn't go home when I moved Atlanta,
- 1:29:52Speaker 1: al Right, when I woke up and there was nothing
- 1:29:55Speaker 1: nothing I called home. I heard all that joy and
- 1:30:01Speaker 1: laughter and getting passed around on the phone. Ain't fun.
- 1:30:06Speaker 1: Who is that? All the damn questions I'm coming in?
- 1:30:09Speaker 1: Who is that? Let me talk to you? Coming in?
- 1:30:11Speaker 1: What y'all doing it? Now? Who is that? Who is that? Now?
- 1:30:15Speaker 1: Is that the doubt? What baby? Is that? What y'all
- 1:30:19Speaker 1: look at that? You don't want to do that? I
- 1:30:21Speaker 1: like all of that. You like being by yourself during
- 1:30:29Speaker 1: the holidays, So Jack, listen, listen, listen, listen. That's what
- 1:30:34Speaker 1: it sounds, That's what I'm ting. Okay, Christmas morning is
- 1:30:39Speaker 1: like what at your house? Listen? Let me listen. Don't
- 1:30:43Speaker 1: you just love that? No? Pots Ratlings listen again? Maybe
- 1:30:49Speaker 1: hit Who is that joint? You got to be lonely?
- 1:30:55Speaker 1: Pots Radling? No, No, it's no Let you hear it again. Listen,
- 1:31:00Speaker 1: not a damn thing you love it? No company at all?
- 1:31:06Speaker 1: Come to my house. You ain't in the neighborhood because
- 1:31:08Speaker 1: I ain't gonna let you in. You know that I'm
- 1:31:11Speaker 1: just in the neighborhood when you outside because you didn't
- 1:31:14Speaker 1: coming in. All right, we'll be back to wrap up
- 1:31:16Speaker 1: the show with just one more thing or last break
- 1:31:19Speaker 1: of the day. Who was that, Junior or Tommy? That
- 1:31:22Speaker 1: was somebody you're listening to? Steve Harvey Morning Show. Here
- 1:31:27Speaker 1: we are with the last break of the day. Just
- 1:31:29Speaker 1: one more thing. It's tomorrow. You got something I'm saying, man, Well,
- 1:31:36Speaker 1: I'm just gonna tell you. Man, are you asking? Junior?
- 1:31:39Speaker 1: Ain't gonna I'm gonna beat there. I'm gonna have my cash.
- 1:31:43Speaker 1: I'll be ready. That's all I got to stop? What? What? What?
- 1:31:47Speaker 1: What type of sneakers you wear? I got some rung shoes,
- 1:31:50Speaker 1: I got some night Okay, Okay, why I don't I've
- 1:31:57Speaker 1: only known Tommy from coming on showing me. So he's
- 1:32:00Speaker 1: not gonna have the He's gonna be mad, and he's
- 1:32:05Speaker 1: gonna lose the race. He's not gonna be mad unless
- 1:32:09Speaker 1: he loses. Sure, here's a problem. Tommy can't beat Junior
- 1:32:16Speaker 1: in a sprint. Timmy could beat Junior running, but he
- 1:32:19Speaker 1: can't beat Junior in a sprint. Well, then why did
- 1:32:21Speaker 1: I wonder why he agreed to Because he's stupid? Because
- 1:32:24Speaker 1: Tommy thinks that's why we take the bed. I just
- 1:32:32Speaker 1: want Jay to know Steve how Tommy is when he
- 1:32:35Speaker 1: gets mad. Ok you gotta explain your nephew, because all right,
- 1:32:38Speaker 1: all right, Jay, first of all, let me do this.
- 1:32:41Speaker 1: Tommy is much greater in his own mind than he acts.
- 1:32:46Speaker 1: We had a plane to catch, by the way. Yeah,
- 1:32:48Speaker 1: so this is frees me up to just go on INTI.
- 1:32:52Speaker 1: Tommy is much greater in his own mind, I mean
- 1:32:55Speaker 1: far in a way. He thinks way more of him
- 1:33:00Speaker 1: self than anybody else. I'm always gonna say, and that's
- 1:33:05Speaker 1: not necessarily a bad thing. You should be confident. You
- 1:33:08Speaker 1: should love yourself when you let those thoughts get from
- 1:33:12Speaker 1: with out the inner you. Once you let it come
- 1:33:16Speaker 1: out how you feel about yourself, then open up yourself
- 1:33:21Speaker 1: to criticism. And oh no the hell you ain't you
- 1:33:24Speaker 1: agree to five now, Junior, Because Tommy runs more than
- 1:33:30Speaker 1: all of us on the show put together, always going
- 1:33:35Speaker 1: out running. I'm going to run. I gotta good these
- 1:33:37Speaker 1: miles and I'm gonna do six miles and then I'm
- 1:33:41Speaker 1: go eas some fried chicken is um and ice cream.
- 1:33:45Speaker 1: Get it back. Okay. That type of logic has always
- 1:33:49Speaker 1: like throwing me off. That's why Tommy look has never
- 1:33:53Speaker 1: changed since you have known him. Tommy has looked the
- 1:33:56Speaker 1: exact same. Is that Steve, you've known? What is that?
- 1:34:03Speaker 1: He just looks the same. He just say what it is?
- 1:34:06Speaker 1: He just looks like a life size turtle. What a
- 1:34:11Speaker 1: life size turtle? He looks like looks like turtle. He
- 1:34:17Speaker 1: looks like the dude on the wax bottle. Get the
- 1:34:22Speaker 1: turtle wax bottle and hold it up and look at
- 1:34:25Speaker 1: Tommy from the side and tell me they ain't who
- 1:34:27Speaker 1: that is. Jay. He's going to be mad. He's don't
- 1:34:31Speaker 1: come in here expecting him to say to you. If
- 1:34:34Speaker 1: he wins, how is Tommy going to be a mouth
- 1:34:38Speaker 1: running man? And we cannot afford that o hell now.
- 1:34:46Speaker 1: But if he loses, man, here comes the excuses. Then
- 1:34:52Speaker 1: he gonna shut down the brooding Tommy. Then then then
- 1:34:56Speaker 1: he's gonna actually turn on those who voted for him
- 1:35:02Speaker 1: being number one. Oh yeah, he's gonna turn on Shirley
- 1:35:04Speaker 1: so fast because he gonna be mad at Shirley for
- 1:35:07Speaker 1: voting for him. And then because Shirley gonna won't want
- 1:35:10Speaker 1: to know why she didn't get home fired. Where's her money?
- 1:35:14Speaker 1: Because you are off in her shoe money now, So
- 1:35:17Speaker 1: Shirley gonna have attitude. Calor gonna have a show up.
- 1:35:22Speaker 1: He's gonna kick his car and see Mississippi Monica who
- 1:35:28Speaker 1: voted on Junior. She gonna make a couple of statements
- 1:35:31Speaker 1: to make him just want to complete suicide and your loss.
- 1:35:38Speaker 1: But she she changed and went with Tommy on. She
- 1:35:42Speaker 1: didn't how could ask me that high? And you got
- 1:35:50Speaker 1: all that air, You ain't gotta muscle it out and
- 1:35:52Speaker 1: push your feet around. It's going to be ugly if
- 1:35:55Speaker 1: he loses Jay and Tomorrow, Folks, listen to me, he
- 1:36:00Speaker 1: is going to lose. Don't expect him to come up
- 1:36:02Speaker 1: to the J Spot and do a night like I
- 1:36:05Speaker 1: almost got him moved at the J Spot. So if
- 1:36:07Speaker 1: he loses, that's that's not gonna happen. Forget about it. Yeah,
- 1:36:11Speaker 1: that's not gonna happen because he came facing people go on,
- 1:36:13Speaker 1: how to hear you? Let June I beat you run
- 1:36:17Speaker 1: because I'm gonna come that night. George Wallace, George Wallace
- 1:36:22Speaker 1: This week Jaspive Comedy Club, Top Cold headliner tuz one

- 1:36:33Speaker 1: I got drinks. Not like Michael Cary said them tacos
- 1:36:37Speaker 1: a little slow coming out to kitchen, But once you
- 1:36:40Speaker 1: get him, they're real good. Good now they are good.
- 1:36:44Speaker 1: They are good. They got a full barn yet everything
- 1:36:47Speaker 1: drinks alcohol to drink Mommum, Mama, the to drink mom
- 1:36:56Speaker 1: and Steve. Tommy was a little salty with you because
- 1:36:59Speaker 1: you are his uncle. By the way, Yeah he knows
- 1:37:03Speaker 1: I've been his uncle. It is ain't nothing new. I've
- 1:37:07Speaker 1: been his uncle for fifty years. What I got to do? Well,
- 1:37:11Speaker 1: he wanted you to vote on him and not go
- 1:37:13Speaker 1: against him. I ain't ever voted on him. You put
- 1:37:17Speaker 1: your money on Prime when Yeah, I told him. I
- 1:37:22Speaker 1: told him not to go down. Now you don't understand. Oh,
- 1:37:26Speaker 1: he was talking so much trash. He really thought he
- 1:37:28Speaker 1: could eat. Yes, he was. I mean really it was.
- 1:37:33Speaker 1: It was not even pretty man. Yeah, he was wiping
- 1:37:36Speaker 1: dust all out of his he was happy. It was crazy.
- 1:37:43Speaker 1: It's gonna be told him not to go to Dion's
- 1:37:45Speaker 1: boys called him and say, hey, man, crush, just dude
