- 0:01Rachel. I'm so excited for your podcast
- 0:04and lady. Oh my gosh!
- 0:05This is so exciting. I'll try to get on one of your
- 0:09master classes. I'm so excited for you.
- 0:12This is amazing. I'm so proud of you.
- 0:28Hey, you Rachel here and today is a big celebration.
- 0:32Are you ready? You ready for this?
- 0:34It is the hundredth episode of the podcast.
- 0:38The hundredth 100 triple digits people.
- 0:41I'm so, first of all, excited and I'm surprised is the other
- 0:46response, because when I started this, pause cast in 20, I want
- 0:51to say it was Teen, my very first episode, I never would
- 0:57have thought it would have been weekly.
- 0:59Let alone a hundred episodes years and years later and it's
- 1:02one of my favorite ways to connect with you.
- 1:05I love the podcast, it's fun for me, it kind of goes all over the
- 1:10place sometimes there's guess there's me, there's breathwork,
- 1:13there's reflection you name it, it kind of can qualify and
- 1:18that's what I find. So fun about it.
- 1:20So I want to thank you. Thank you for Something today
- 1:24and all being on subscribers here because I couldn't do it
- 1:29without you. And I feel like I'm just getting
- 1:31started. I really really do even though
- 1:34I'm 100 episodes in just getting started.
- 1:37And so you know, if you're new to the podcast or you're not
- 1:41that familiar with it, my invitation to you is check out
- 1:45the archives. There's 100 episodes here and
- 1:48there are some incredible. Guess when I started out the
- 1:51mean up until last year, I had one a month and I had a guest
- 1:55with me always like 95% of the time and these guests are legit.
- 2:00They are thought leaders in their space, their authors,
- 2:03their incredible individuals, and I'm looking at my roster now
- 2:08and we have everyone on here is in their own way.
- 2:11A leader in their space Mike. Robbins who's written multiple
- 2:15books about what, you know, how to be intentional and positive
- 2:21change. He talks about focusing on the
- 2:25good stuff from that Jenny Blake who I've cited as a pause story
- 2:31and she wrote the book pivot and worked at Google.
- 2:33So I feel like she's my cousin to pause Daniel goleman, which
- 2:38was always a pleasure to have him on a me, she jaw
- 2:42neuroscientist at the University.
- 2:44Hit me like the list goes on and on and on my very first episode
- 2:48was 2018, that's what it is. So today, I'm celebrating and
- 2:53there's really, you know, from that, my messages, we have to
- 2:58stop and celebrate the wins, okay?
- 3:00Like, almost in every coaching private session, I have I have
- 3:03people start with a win. What's your win right now?
- 3:06For the week or for the day, whatever you want to share,
- 3:09because it gets us in our positive mindset.
- 3:11It actually is training us to think.
- 3:14In the world of positive regard as opposed to even - or like
- 3:19whatever our brains want to think an autopilot.
- 3:22So that's one thing. And then we have to be
- 3:23intentional about it or else it doesn't happen.
- 3:25So me doing this as a deliberate Act of that and it's not
- 3:28supposed to be like, hey, hey, cool.
- 3:31Although I think that's exciting.
- 3:33It's really a validation for myself.
- 3:35And I'm only saying this, because this is what we all need
- 3:38to do. So what can you celebrate for
- 3:40yourself? What's a, you know, you, if you
- 3:42have a birthday or an anniversary, You know how many
- 3:45of us don't really think that that's good to celebrate.
- 3:46Like, oh, I don't like to celebrate birthdays.
- 3:48I could name ten people right now who are in that field and
- 3:51that's okay. But what could you do for
- 3:53yourself? Even just to celebrate for?
- 3:55You doesn't need to be shared with other people because if we
- 3:58don't stop and celebrate, these are the moments that.
- 4:01And these are the occasions that can just slip by and then we're
- 4:05just right back. Maybe in the grind or we're not
- 4:07thinking about what could serve us.
- 4:10And these are Big highlights y'all like like think about What
- 4:14is exciting in your life right now?
- 4:15And just take a moment with me, right in here to celebrate just
- 4:18you know, whatever that is, maybe close your eyes.
- 4:20If you can think of one thing that you are celebrating today,
- 4:27And allow your heart space to fill with some gratitude for
- 4:30that. Maybe you worked hard, Maybe.
- 4:36It's your anniversary birthday. Maybe there's a friend who has a
- 4:42special occasion today you're going out to dinner, you see
- 4:47someone you like and enjoy their company.
- 4:50Connecting, maybe you're celebrating the Sun that you saw
- 4:55rise. If you woke up early, Or the
- 4:59good cup of coffee that you enjoyed as you worked.
- 5:03Isn't it cool? It could be literally anything.
- 5:05But if we don't name it then we don't think about it.
- 5:08I mean that's just how our brains work.
- 5:09We're wired for other things, including negativity much of it.
- 5:15All right, so if you have a favorite episode, maybe you just
- 5:18take one, go for it and listen to something this week over
- 5:21these hundred episodes and I invite you to share like that
- 5:26would be my my ask is share the podcast.
- 5:28Share it out there because there's so much good stuff.
- 5:32It's really, really designed for leaders.
- 5:35Corporate leaders people in the work world who want to thrive,
- 5:39who want to feel more aligned and want some tips.
- 5:43Some real practical knowledge. Knowledge and tips on what to do
- 5:46differently and that's what the podcast is all about.
- 5:48I really do think that if you have any thoughts or suggestions
- 5:53on future episodes, I always love to hear them too.
- 5:55So just drop me a note. Let me know, I do these all the
- 5:58time and as you know, their weekly the breathwork ones, have
- 6:01been really fun for me to where we get to practice or maybe it's
- 6:05meditation. It's all good.
- 6:07And so thank you for celebrating with me.
- 6:09Thank you for taking time out of your busy day.
- 6:11I know this wasn't a long one. But you matter, and I appreciate
- 6:16you and thank you for being here.
